Speaker 1 (00:10):
Independent thoughts, independent life. This is Chad Benson.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
What do Americans care about? I'm an American? You know
what I care about the cost of life. It's so
damn expensive, and it's getting more expensive in some areas.
Some areas it's cooling down a little bit, but it
doesn't mean it's still not moving in a direction that
is uncomfortable affording a house. I read an article yesterday
(00:42):
a couple between the two of them, in the city
they live in, they make two hundred and fifty thousand
dollars a year. After taxes and all the other stuff.
They take home about eleven thousand dollars. A starter home
in there neighborhood where they would like to live and
(01:03):
in their city it would cost them five thousand dollars
a month, which basically eats up a lot of their income.
Life is damn expensive. That's what people care about. The vibes,
right like, oh man, the vibes from Kamala is great.
(01:24):
And Trump going out there and saying some of his
wacky stuff. But I keep telling you, you stick to
the script, Donald, and you win, and you win. Stick
to the script. What's the script? Inflation economy, immigration, inflation economy, immigration.
(01:45):
Stick to that and you win, because there's a lot
of people out there that feel like this.
Speaker 3 (01:51):
How hard does inflation hit you?
Speaker 4 (01:53):
It hit me hard.
Speaker 5 (01:54):
It's hitting me hard.
Speaker 3 (01:55):
Who do you blame for it?
Speaker 5 (01:56):
I blame the federal government At this point, If a
working class mom who works as a paralegal cannot buy
a two dollars bill pepper because it's now five, imagine
a mother living in a food stamps Imagine a mother
who's making minimum ways trying to feed children. They're killing
us without killing us. They're killing us without telling us.
They're killing us. They're hurting people in ways that they
(02:19):
can't help themselves. It's either feed my child, well, how
about feed my children? And I don't.
Speaker 2 (02:26):
How about feed my children or I don't eat. So
in the next twenty four hours, Kamala is already rolling
out her policy, which by the way, is as the
La Times. I know if you're aware of them, they
lean on the left. Harris offers freedom and contrast to Trump,
(02:50):
but not many policy details. That's what you're offering. But chance,
she's got the vibe, she's got the mo baby, she's
got the mentum baby momentum in that is really what
matters battle ground momentum.
Speaker 6 (03:02):
New numbers showing the Harris Wall's ticket is gaining ground.
Speaker 2 (03:05):
Vice President Harris gaining.
Speaker 7 (03:06):
Momentum, momentum in some key states.
Speaker 1 (03:09):
This morning, Vice President Kamala Harris gaining momentum, gaining momentum,
gaining momentum, gaining momentum.
Speaker 7 (03:15):
Look this momentum, this momentum, keeping the momentum. Harris is momentum,
Harris's momentum.
Speaker 8 (03:19):
You can't slow down the momentum.
Speaker 7 (03:21):
This remarkable momentum.
Speaker 9 (03:22):
Mission number one is create the momentum and then keep
the momentum. What does momentum look like in the polls?
Speaker 10 (03:29):
Kamala Harris is doing two things here number one momentum
and number two momentum.
Speaker 3 (03:33):
But take a look here, clear.
Speaker 7 (03:35):
Momentum, so momentum, it is momentum.
Speaker 11 (03:37):
It is democrats ride a wave of momentum.
Speaker 3 (03:40):
She does have that momentum.
Speaker 12 (03:41):
The Democrats are riding a wave of momentum, generating a
kind of momentum.
Speaker 13 (03:45):
The Harris team is going to want to keep this momentum, keep.
Speaker 7 (03:47):
The momentum going. They want to keep that momentum. The momentum.
Speaker 3 (03:51):
Hair is amazing.
Speaker 7 (03:52):
The crowds are literally insane.
Speaker 2 (03:54):
This momentum, it just seems day in and day out
to keep getting more.
Speaker 14 (03:58):
Powerful by the day.
Speaker 11 (04:00):
Randy is heavily towards Harris, and it's rushing towards Harris
in recent weeks. The Vice President at this point throwing
the equivalent of a no hitter in the first three
weeks of her campaign, hoping to keep that going with
the Democratic Convention next week.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
Okay, but you've got all the momentum based on what
well one, based on the fact that you're not seven
hundred and fifteen years old. That's a big deal. And
you're juxtaposing yourself, which nobody knows who you are because
you don't talk to anybody, and the people who are
coming out and talking for you are going against every
(04:38):
single thing that you have said when you were running
for president before. The things that you are for you
seem to be against. Policy should matter, But it's about vibes, baby.
Speaker 6 (04:50):
The congressman's more well to your point about Kamala Harris.
Why hasn't Kamala Harris laid out her policy agenda. It's
not even on her campaign's website.
Speaker 15 (05:00):
So she's doing that this week. You know, she's talking
you know particularly about her economic message. She's also, you know,
been going across the country filling arenas and talking about
what she's going to do on the rights that were
robbed for women when Roe was taken away, the border
crisis that she's going to solve, that her economic policy
(05:22):
won't benefit billionaires, but it will benefit hard working Americans.
She calls it.
Speaker 14 (05:28):
It's working for working people.
Speaker 15 (05:30):
She's stopping, you know, before going on stage and talking
to reporters, and I expect more of that as we
go into the convention on Monday.
Speaker 2 (05:37):
Well, she's filling arenas, she's doing all that stuff. Okay,
but what's your policy. It's easy to walk out and say,
I'm for the working man and woman in this world.
I'm here to make your life better. I'm here to
make sure that those billionaires don't profit off the back
of you, and that you get what's rightfully yours and
what you deserve. That's not a policy. Those are loans,
(06:01):
those are campaign sayings. That's not policy. What's your policy?
What's your policy on anything? Now, Supposedly she's going to
lay out a vision that is different than Biden. Okay,
but on your website, even the stuff you're releasing now
(06:22):
is isn't policy. It's just like, we're about freedom. Our
freedoms are being taken away. We're about all the freedoms,
and we're going to be opposite of that taking away
freedom people. We're going to be super freedom people. You're like, okay,
but like, what's the policy? And I've asked so many
(06:43):
Democrats that over the last couple of days. And the
battle that goes on on the interwebs, which is never
a good place to engage in any kind of conversation.
And I was engaging with somebody yesterday, which is well,
it is what it is. I mean, I don't mind it,
but I asked over and over again, Okay, I get it.
(07:06):
You don't like Trump. He's evil, he's bad, he's all
the things whatever, I get it, I get it. What
about her is engaging? What about her is spectacular? Remember
she ran for president once before, and if you read
Time magazine's article about her, where they celebrate her as
(07:30):
some sort of deity that is coming to save the world,
even though she wouldn't do an interview with them. They
even talk about, you know, maybe when she ran last time,
it wasn't the best place for her to showcase her skills. Essentially,
what what the hell does that even mean? So I
(07:56):
kept asking, what are the policies that you're getting behind, Well,
you know the policies, that's all am asking. And by
the way, as a voter left right independent, which by
the way, has grown the most since twenty twenty, forty
(08:18):
percent of the country is now independent from the two parties.
So as a voter, aren't you curious in some way,
shape or form to hear policies or is it just
excitement because she's not Joe Biden and she's not Donald Trump.
(08:44):
I think that's a big deal. And we live at
a time where, quite frankly, I don't think policy matters
one bit, and that's scary because it needs to matter.
Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four to twenty
(09:05):
three at you, ad Benson shows your Twitter tweet, at
is text the program. I'd like to hear from you
about what her policies are, what are they like, what
excites you about her? And I know people you're gonna
get a lot of women. It's all about abortion.
Speaker 16 (09:23):
At least eight states are going to have abortion directly
on the ballot this fall, and that includes some of
these key swing states like Arizona, like Nevada, Florida if
you want to count that as a swing state. So
not only obviously are people going to be voting on
the President and senators and people who can make policy,
but they'll also directly be voting on whether abortion rights
(09:44):
get enshrined in a state constitution.
Speaker 2 (09:47):
Arizona, we'll have it on the ballot, moving it to
twenty four weeks. Florida not a swing state, but it'll
be on the ballot. I'm not going to be surprised
when it passes. So Missouri's got it on the ballot.
I mean, what happened in Kansas, you know, the belt
(10:09):
buckle of the Bible belt. They said, now we're going
to keep it, you know, legal, But it's got to
be more than that. It's like, is that the only thing?
Because you know, when it's funny when I talk to
women about this, some younger generation, yes, this an LGBTQ
plus or a few of the things, like it's all
the social issues. But for people who are out there
(10:32):
working real jobs, living their life, they're like they feel like, Okay, yeah,
it's an issue for them. But to say it's the
only issue is like discredit to them, as you know,
anybody in the workforce or anybody who's got to you know,
pay for life. I just like to know policy. I
(10:53):
don't think it's a bad thing. And with your policy
that seems to be ever changed. As you are a chameleon,
why have you evolved on these things. I'm not saying
you can't. I would just like to know why. Three

(11:38):
is starting to take a different turn, a turn that
needs to take grounded in reality. Three two three five

Speaker 1 (13:09):
You're listening to the Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 17 (13:11):
Trump has kind of been thrown on his heels by this,
and he's not really sure how to go after Vice
President Harris he knew his attack lines on President Biden.
He really has struggled with how to go after someone
who's twenty years younger than him, who is.
Speaker 7 (13:23):
A different gender, a different race.
Speaker 17 (13:25):
It's kind of been this moment where he has not
been able to coalesce around a.
Speaker 3 (13:30):
Single attack line.
Speaker 18 (13:30):
I know you guys are objective over there, that you
just report the news as it is.
Speaker 3 (13:35):
Oh, I know a CNN makes it, and.
Speaker 19 (13:37):
I know that that's supposed to be a lab like
I wasn't supposed to be, but I guess it is.
Speaker 2 (13:42):
It is because we know you're not. The media has
got issues. We all know that I'm part of the media.
Here's my thing. I'm not a journalist. I never pretend
to be a journalist. My opinions are my opinions based
on facts, reality, reading of the room, people, understanding society.
That's kind of my that's my thing. But when you
(14:02):
try to pass yourself off as journalists, that's always been
an issue, and then you wonder why people don't trust you.
Remember the old Hunter Biden thing. It's all a lie,
right YEA. Sixty five thousand intelligence agents have signed something
that says it's Russian disinformation of Bardie Blardie blir. Well,
now that Biden is done and dusted, lo and behold,
new stuff is starting to come out about Hunter, Biden,
(14:25):
his dealings with Barisma, things of that nature, as he
gets closer to his tax case, as they try to
come to some sort of deal, which they're going to
have to I would assume, because I don't think you
want this stuff coming out, and now without Dad running
for reelection, that cover of a lot of stuff that
(14:46):
might have not happened during the trial.
Speaker 20 (14:49):
Well, all bets are off. But there's new information what
The president's son reportedly sought help from the US government
for a foreign company while his father was vice president.
According to the New York Times, records indicate Hunter wrote
a letter to the US ambassador to Italy in twenty
sixteen seeking help launching a business venture for Barisma, the
(15:10):
Ukrainian gas company where he was a board member. The
New York Times says it obtained the documents from the
State Department after suing the agency in twenty twenty one
under the Freedom of Information Act.
Speaker 2 (15:21):
No, he wanted to have a meeting with them. Wonder
why well never materialized, but.
Speaker 12 (15:26):
Still, in response to the Times report, overnight Hunter. Biden's
lawyer called the letter to the ambassador a proper request
and insisted no meeting occurred and no project materialized.
Speaker 2 (15:38):
Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four, twenty three
at Chad Benson Shows, your Twitter, tweet at us text
the program right here on The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 12 (15:50):
And the White House saying President Biden was not aware
his son reached out to the embassy in Italy on
behalf of Barisma.
Speaker 2 (15:57):
Do you really think that? Do you honestly think that
he wasn't aware? This is when he was vice president.
Do you really think that he didn't know what was
going on? Come on, now, you're not that stupid. Just
it's swipe. People don't trust the media. You had the
opportunities in the past to expose stuff and you didn't,
and you became part of the resistance, which is going
(16:18):
on with Trump. By the way, again, Trump has so
many flaws. There's so much about Trump that is infuriating.
I totally get that, because I hear from a lot
of you who are frustrated with Donald Trump. But the
media and the way that they went about doing things
was so ridiculous and still, as I said, I tweeted
out yesterday. If I was running a campaign right now,
(16:40):
I don't need policy, I just need vibes. Baby.
Speaker 21 (16:42):
Kamla Harris never went through the primary process where she
had to cater to the left, so now she gets
to appear like she's in the center. What In fact,
she's one of the most radical nominees we've seen from
the Democratic Party. There's exactly one reason she's rising in
the polls. It's because the media is propping her up. Ultimately,
we got to take this back to our vision for
policy in the future of the United States. If we
(17:03):
do that, we win. If we steer from that path,
we lose. And you know what, the media does present
an uphill battle, but it's up to us to actually
overcome that.
Speaker 8 (17:11):
And to win.
Speaker 2 (17:12):
De vic Ramaswami, by the way, could you imagine him
running against Kamala and on stage with her. He would
smoke her like a pack of cool filter kings. And
the media is just going along with anything. I'm still
waiting for one of them to go, hey, wait a minute, here,
we should be asking serious questions. We're still waiting for that.
Three two, three, five, eight, twenty four twenty three at
(17:33):
Chad Benson Show, is your Twitter tweet at his texted
program Little Woke Coming Up, Chad.
Speaker 22 (17:38):
Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 1 (18:00):
Independent Thoughts, Independent Life. This is Chad Benson.
Speaker 23 (18:05):
Boys do need tampons. I just found out they actually
do need them.
Speaker 1 (18:09):
Hear me out.
Speaker 23 (18:10):
It turns out that teachers, as part of their active
shooter drills, have been told by law enforcement and doctors
that tampons are a great way to plug up a
bullet hole and to slow the bleeding. So for all
you maga nut jobs that want to load our schools
out with more guns than an army base and sell
(18:31):
a weapon of war to anyone who wants one, tampons
in the boys room can be part of your agenda too.
Speaker 2 (18:37):
That's not true. By the way, they don't work. Those
of you who think, well, yeah, you could tell no,
it's not it doesn't work. And if you really are
teaching that, and I'm hoping you're being psychic sarcastic, boys
totally need tampons. And we're only keeping tampons in there
(18:58):
just in case, you know, a boy has a period
never has happened, and or there's a massive shooting and
we need tampons to stop the bleeding. She's got to
be sarcastic, right, that has to be sarcastic. Hey, kids,
it's Wednesday. No sarcasm here on Wednesday's just stuff that
(19:19):
makes you think what because it is woke Wednesday.
Speaker 8 (19:25):
It's that time of the week where we get you
woke correctly.
Speaker 6 (19:28):
Not only are they act hurting our kids?
Speaker 2 (19:30):
Directlish make everything better.
Speaker 8 (19:32):
Directlys are fine.
Speaker 3 (19:34):
Just my gender is a complete nightmare.
Speaker 8 (19:36):
A trans woman can breastfeet and this.
Speaker 2 (19:38):
Is great news.
Speaker 1 (19:39):
No, no, no, no no, there's something I need to
tell you. The princess who came to your ball tonight
with me, I'm Gonzarella.
Speaker 2 (19:47):
That's the one where Harry waves the magic wand and
turns everybody back to their select gender.
Speaker 1 (19:53):
And miss Danny.
Speaker 24 (19:54):
You can't speculate about someone's sexuality unless they're famous.
Speaker 12 (19:57):
Or Fever and Patty.
Speaker 8 (19:59):
It's time for woke Wednesday.
Speaker 2 (20:02):
Time to get woke, and we're going to talk about
something that will make some people uncomfortable, mostly liberals. It's
about gender firming care or mutilating children, depends on what
side of the aisle you're on. What it's not is
actually treating the issue of kids having mental issues in
struggling with their bodies and struggling with puberty, and so
(20:27):
let's experiment on them because well activism. There is a
pinion piece in the New York Times, the Strange Report
fueling the War on Trans Kids, by Lydia Paul Green.
Who's Lydia Paul Green. Lydia Paul Green, by the way,
and I bet you'll be shocked to hear this reject
(20:50):
rigid binaries. She identifies as both black and mixed race,
and both American and African as a woman. I'm saying this,
o' get me mad. Through her masculine gender expressions often
leads people to assume she is a man and as
a lesbian, though she also has had heterosexual romantic relationships.
(21:13):
There you go. She's all the things liberal I would assume.
So what is the cast report, Well, support that came
out of Britain that the British government wanted. It's three
hundred and eighty eight pages on gender affirming care for
the children and teenagers, and it was written at the
behest of the British government and it set the activism
(21:40):
class of people. Remember when we talk about activism, it's
a business, okay, And the business is to always be
doing some sort of activism, meaning you have to find
the next hill to climb, otherwise you're going to what
shut your doors? Oh well, guess what the cast report is. Yes,
(22:05):
the right is chearing it, and some people on the
left who are like, Okay, this is what normal life
should be about. This is what's going on. We here
in America are doing crazy things because of politics. Well,
finally you're getting some organizations that are coming out and saying, right,
we're not doing this here anymore. We're not going to
get on board with this lunacy of.
Speaker 25 (22:27):
Gender affirming surgeries for miners have been incredibly controversial, except
in maybe the most important place of all the medical community.
We're just about every major medical association has supported it,
which makes the position of the American Society of Plastic
Surgeons so significant. It's an organization which represents ninety two
percent of all board certified plastic surgeons in the US,
(22:50):
and they are now coming out and saying they won't
support it.
Speaker 14 (22:53):
They told us today quote, the.
Speaker 25 (22:55):
American Society of Plastic Surgeons has not endorsed any organizations
practice recommendations for the treatment of adolescents with gender dysphoria.
ASPS currently understands that there is considerable uncertainty as to
the long term efficacy for the use of chest and
genital surgical interventions for the treatment of adolescents with gender dysphoria,
(23:17):
and the existing evidence base is viewed as low quality,
low certainty. This patient population requires specific considerations.
Speaker 2 (23:26):
Yes, because of the mental issue. We've talked about that
over and over again, young kids being influenced by influencers,
young kids being pushed into things that they have no idea.
What the repercussions are long term mutilating children. And we
have said this on the show for a very long time.
(23:47):
What is going to eventually end this? We talked to
Abigail Schreyer, she's written books about this also at the
New York Times, that the lawsuits that are coming are
going to be the thing that this big time. But
we can't have an honest conversation in this country, and finally,
doctors and medical organizations are going to, yeah, you know
(24:07):
what this is, we can't do this.
Speaker 25 (24:09):
That is a very different position from dozens of the
top medical associations in the country, including the American Academy
of Pediatrics, the American Media Medical Association, the Endocrine Society,
the American Academy of Child and Adolescent sit Psychiatry, among
many others who've taken positions that gender affirming care isn't
(24:31):
just safe but also medically necessary.
Speaker 2 (24:33):
It's not. And the lies that you're being told over
and over again that you know, hey, if you don't
do this, your kid is going to probably kill themselves
is bs. There are kids out there that are struggling
with things, and they're making snap decisions because they're looking
to be to fix something. And as we've talked about
(24:56):
over and over again, you know what you find out
in life, it's like people who lose a bunch of weight.
All the problems you had before they're still there. You're
still you, and now, through reactionary decisions and pressure, you
may have made a decision that is going to alter
life for the worse.
Speaker 25 (25:15):
Major American medical institutions have also either ignored or disputed
findings of what is now known as the.
Speaker 26 (25:21):
Cast Review, a four year review.
Speaker 25 (25:23):
Ordered by England's National Health Service and released earlier this year,
finding that when it comes to medical intervention for kids
experiencing gender identity issues, quote, there is not a reliable
evidence base upon which to make clinical decisions or for
children and their families to make informed choices. The strengths
and weaknesses of the evidence based on the care of
(25:44):
children and young people are often misrepresented and overstated, both
in scientific publications and social debate. And they also said
for the majority of young people, a medical pathway may
not be the best way to manage their gender related distress.
For those young people for whom a medical pathways clinically indicated,
it's not enough to provide this without also addressing psychological issues.
Speaker 2 (26:05):
Oh, no, psychological issues. This is a doctor, the big
plastic surgeons out there, doctor Sheila Nezie, talking about the
insanity of this and how the rest of the world
is running away from it and because of actism here
people are terrified to even speak out.
Speaker 27 (26:21):
Well, honestly, I've been following everything that's happening in Europe,
and it's not just the UK dan it's Norway, Finland, Sweden, Germany, Denmark.
They have all began to back off, and honestly, I
think one by one we are slowly becoming the outlier
here in the United States. And I just have to say,
I'm so grateful to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons,
(26:44):
that they have had the courage to stand up and
say that the quality of evidence is poor and that
they don't have confidence that the benefits outweigh the harm.
Speaker 2 (26:53):
That is true long term, we're seeing this because this
is something that has just been around in this kind
of way for the last five, ten years. What does
it look like ten fifteen years from now, What does
it look like as we start to see those first
group of young impressionable in particular girls who've gone through things,
who are now in a position where they can't have kids.
(27:16):
Something that was a momentary issue that many adolescents go
through now has long term repercussions. That's why the lawsuits
are coming. This is a serious issue and a battleground
that is taking place in the culture war in America,
and we can't let it happen. This is about protecting
(27:37):
the kids. This isn't about not liking the LGBTQ plus community.
It's about stopping activists from damaging children and experimenting on
them and doing things because the goal is to be
activists and to always be doing things moving forward an agenda,
no matter what it is. Because it's a business, I'm sorry,
(28:01):
but your business? Is it gonna hurt my kids? Three two, three,
five three eight, twenty four to twenty three at Chad
Benson Show, is your Twitter tweet at as text to program.
I'm sure we'll get a lot of text good and
bad on that. I'm okay with that. Love to hear

Eat my, You just bought yourself another Saturday, mister, Oh crushed,
you just bought one more?
Speaker 14 (30:05):
Right there?
Speaker 29 (30:05):
Well, I'm free to Saturday after that. Beyond that, I'm
gonna have to check my calendar. Good because it's gonna
be filled.
Speaker 8 (30:11):
We'll keep going.
Speaker 30 (30:12):
You want another one, say the word just say the

Speaker 31 (30:33):
Bye? Good?
Speaker 8 (30:34):
You got one more right there?
Speaker 14 (30:35):
Do you really think I'd give it another? You through?
Speaker 4 (30:39):

you asked, mister burning here, whether Baron Manilon know that

Speaker 2 (30:45):
Now it's eight great right John Bender right there from
the breakfast club Jedda Nelson and I bring that up
because of this. Somebody did it in real life. But
instead of Saturday detention.
Speaker 32 (30:58):
Jail kiss, this is you know what No no, no.
Speaker 26 (31:04):
A Michigan judge has gone viral after he sentenced a
mand to up to five hundred and fifty eight days
in jail for cursing at him.
Speaker 32 (31:10):
You don't come in here, you don't use it. Okay,
that's contemned. That's ninety three. That's another three. That's another
ninety three. That's another ninety three. That's another ninety three.
Speaker 2 (31:27):
Oh we're not even close, are you finished, Bud? Not
even close, Bud.
Speaker 8 (31:33):
That's six ninety threes consecutive.
Speaker 33 (31:35):
I don't know that I would get it, would have
given him ninety three days for each and every instance
of a curse. But I think there needed to be something. So, yes,
it was somewhat excessive, another ninety three, but at the
same time, the judge needed to do something to take
control of the courtroom.
Speaker 14 (31:52):
That's what the judge did.
Speaker 26 (31:54):
This is not Judge Simpson's first bout with internet fame.
Speaker 14 (31:57):
Are You Driving?
Speaker 26 (31:58):
You may remember him from early this year when a
man with a suspended driver's license joined his court via
zoom while driving.
Speaker 32 (32:05):
This is a driving one license suspended, That is correct,
and he was just driving.
Speaker 2 (32:11):
Oh my god, not even close, Bud. Brings back memories.
What are you thinking? What are you thinking? Why would
you do that? Because you're not thinking, you're an idiot?
And that's obviously somebody who has a issue with authority.
That's a lot of time in jail. How much time
(32:31):
he'll actually do I don't know, but that's a lot
of time. Was it absolutely worth it? It's insane. People
are insane. We have no respect for a lot of
things in this country, but mostly for each other. A
(32:53):
guy was such an ass hat. I got ninety three
nothing because I would not cuss at a judge like that.
Especially sometimes you ever seen any of things, it's just
stupid stuff. But people want to push back all the
time when there's no need to. And now, sir, you're
gonna tell your roomy in prison that's in there for
(33:14):
something serious, and you're like, oh, yelled judge, the whole bunch,
and they're gonna look at you like, what is wrong
with you? I know, if you saw this yesterday, it
went viral for all the reasons you think things go viral,
but it also I think alerts people that this goes
(33:36):
on a lot, and if anybody's ever been through one,
it is terrifying. Snate burn he is an azzy weather
man meteorologist on live television. Dude has a panic attack.
Speaker 34 (33:53):
And we're going to see lots more rain in the
days ahead. I'm actually going to need to stop for
a second. Some of you may know that I occasionally
get affected by some panic attacks, and actually that's happening
right now, Lisa. Maybe I could hand back to you.
Speaker 8 (34:09):
You certainly can date.
Speaker 35 (34:10):
And Nate wrote a great piece online about this. He
has been so open and transparent about it. And the
response when he first wrote about it was that everyone said.
Speaker 8 (34:20):
Thank god, Nate's not perfect.
Speaker 35 (34:22):
We thought he was perfect, but actually he's now sharing something.
Speaker 2 (34:26):
Yeah. And if you've never had a panic attack, and
it is terrifying, right, I mean, you think like the
world's coming to an end. High anxiety, racing heart, weak, faint, dizzy, shaking, tinkling,
numbless hands, fingers, sense of terror, pending doom or debt,
heart attack, sweaty, nausea, and it comes out of nowhere.
(34:48):
And he was on live TV, and the fact that
he took a step back, I mean he humanizes him
and says, oh, dude, I'm having one right now. And
I remember working with my buddy in Arizona at KTA
R Gatos, and I remember him talking about the times
(35:12):
he'd had panic attacks and you know what it was like.
And and again, they come out of nowhere. Sometimes it's
a ton of stress and then the panic attack comes.
But a lot of times it's just it's a day
and then out of nowhere it happens three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson Show.
Is your Twitter tweet at US Text the program right

I don't know how that's gonna work. Talk a bit
about that. Gen Z and the Vibes campaign gen Z's

plus Kroger, because I don't know what's going on with Kroger.
(35:56):
They're being investigated again, but they're doing something with dynamic price,
and I will tell you that happens in a lot
of places. But some of the stuff they're doing is
kind of eerie, and we're going to talk a little
bit about that. We got some woke stuff as well.
You can reach out to us across all of our
social media. I love hearing from all of you. Three two, three,
five three eight twenty four twenty three at Chad Benson Show.
(36:18):
It is your Twitter tweet at US Text the program.
It is the Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 1 (36:23):
This is the Chad Benson Show, Independent Thoughts, Independent Life,
(36:53):
This is Chad Benson.
Speaker 2 (36:54):
Breaking news, breaking news, inflation, slowing down.
Speaker 36 (37:03):
Right now for the July content.
Speaker 2 (37:05):
By the way I'm gonna play this, this guy gets
so excited talking financial stuff. As we'll let you guys
know that.
Speaker 36 (37:10):
Right now for the July consumer price and next headline
number coming in as expected, up two tenths of a percent,
up two tenths percent on headline number follows yet unrevised
down one ten. So we went from basically the weakest
the biggest negative month over month change the positive in
(37:32):
CPI since COVID for twenty four to twenty twenty, and
now we're at the level that we haven't seen really
since April. We're up at three tens. If you look
at ex food energy exactly is expected.
Speaker 8 (37:45):
As well, up two tenths.
Speaker 36 (37:47):
The issue is, of course, it's following one tent which,
just like the last number was comping towards the first
several months of COVID.
Speaker 2 (37:55):
Okay, let me break it down for you. It's slowing down.
So when they talk about inflation is down, it is
the rate of growth. So we're not at two percent,
which is kind of this bizarre, you know, arbitrary number
that people picked a long time ago. Two percent is
about right, but we're getting there, which is a huge win,
by the way for Vice President Harris. And the reason is,
(38:17):
if inflation starts to really cool, people start to feel
better about the economy. That consumer confidence, which matters more
than the CPI and the PPI, which is just a
bunch of you know, just a bunch of jargon, gobbly goop.
That helps, that does that absolutely helps. And the reason
(38:38):
is simple. We could sit here and talk about all
the culture war stuff, we could talk about all that
other stuff, but in reality, it is the day to
day living and the cost of the day to day
living that is what a vast majority of Americans are
concerned about.
Speaker 3 (38:55):
How hard does inflation hit you?
Speaker 23 (38:57):
It hit me hard.
Speaker 3 (38:58):
It's hitten me hard. Blame for it.
Speaker 5 (39:00):
I blame the federal government at this point. If a
working class mom who works as a paralegal cannot buy
a two dollars bell pepper because it's now five, imagine
a mother living in a food stamps Imagine a mother
who's making minimum ways trying to feed children. They're killing
us without killing us. They're killing us without telling us.
They're killing us. They're hurting people in ways that they
(39:24):
can't help themselves. It's either feed my child, well, how
about feed my children?
Speaker 2 (39:29):
And I don't, And that clip is everywhere so lady
for Philadelphia.
Speaker 4 (39:36):
She's black.
Speaker 2 (39:37):
It doesn't matter, but people will make it about that
she is feeling it. We can talk about all the
other stuff, and there's a lot of stuff to talk about.
But when you and I go to bed at night
and they say lay your head down right, and you're
sitting there and you got stuff going through your mind.
Are culture wars the big thing? No, maybe once in
(40:00):
a while, especially if you're in the midst of one.
Is foreign wars the big thing, maybe once in a while,
especially if we may see ourselves getting involved. Yeah, that'll
be there. But the thing that is always number one
or two it is the cost of life. And the
cost of life is still damn expensive, up twenty percent,
(40:25):
even with the slowdown of you know, the rate of
growth of the inflation, and that's what this is. This
is the growth rate. It's still near three, but it's
coming down, So good news for the kind of incumbent
(40:46):
it's the best way to describe her, the anointed one.
And there will be a rate cut too, which is
also going to probably help out this administration's kind of incumbent.
Kamala the kind of incumbent. It's the economy stupid three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson Show.
(41:09):
Is your Twitter tweet at us text the program. Are
the Republicans out there that want Trump gone? Yes, there
are a lot of powers that be in the Republican
(41:30):
Party that want him gone. They don't like he's He's
made them uncomfortable. He has got in their face. He's
not played ball. Doesn't like the two party system because
at the end of the day, Trump is not a Republican.
He's Trump. He's Trump. He is That's the That's the
(41:54):
only thing you could say about him. As far as parties,
it's just Trump. Yes, his ideas are more concerned, and
we've talked about the fact that he's been very mild,
if you will, in the way that he has governed.
But when I talked to in particular older conservatives, they
(42:19):
don't like the fact that he's in their party. They
don't they like his policies. And this has nothing to
do with policies. This has all to do with the persona.
They can't stand it. They feel that he has hijacked
the party. He has rebuilt the party somewhat in his image,
(42:41):
and in doing so, is destroying the party. David French,
who's supposed to be a conservative who works at the
New York Times, actually talked about this yesterday, how why
he can't vote for Trump, why can't do it, why
he wants to see Trump gone. And I think there
(43:03):
are a lot of even conservatives and people that are
voting for Trump that do long for the day that
he is no longer in the political scene, where it
kind of settles a little bit and you can see, Okay,
what does the party look like going forward? Which is natural,
by the way.
Speaker 10 (43:20):
Yeah, absolutely, it's not just that the party's changed, but
events things have changed.
Speaker 8 (43:25):
So in twenty sixteen and.
Speaker 10 (43:27):
Twenty twenty, I voted third party. I wrote in I
could not vote for the Democrat. I definitely was not
going to vote for Donald Trump. But there are some
things that have changed since twenty twenty. One of them
was January sixth, which illustrated the links that Donald Trump
would go, the destructive links to our own constitutional order
that Donald Trump would go. And then the next year
(43:47):
when Russia invade Ukraine, you see the incredible stakes for
the international order for American national security, and on both
of those just paramount issues. Trump is not just on
the wrong side in many ways, especially here domestically, he's
the instigator of the crisis itself.
Speaker 2 (44:06):
Well, when you want to talk about Russia and Israel,
if you think he's the instigator of those things, I
think we all think that's a much bs. You're looking
for a reason not to like him because he upsets
the apple cart, which I think parties need the upsetting
of the apple cart, because this two party system is
two corporations that, for the most part are kind of
(44:29):
the same corporation. You know, the globetrotters need somebody to
play against, and it was the Washington generals and vice versa.
Speaker 10 (44:37):
And so if you're dealing with changed events, I feel
like it's incumbent on me to be open to changing
my mind on at least one element of my stand
and that is in this case, to vote for the
party that at the very least is going to stand
against Russian aggression. And Joe, you know, saying that out loud,
that I'm voting against a Republican to make sure that
(45:00):
the United States resists Russian aggression is again one of
those moments where you can't believe how much things have changed.
Speaker 2 (45:07):
It's David frenchre at there New York Times. I call
BS on that because let's not forget that the Russian
aggression came when Biden was in office and when Trump
was in office, and because they don't fear Biden. And
(45:28):
this is one of those intellectuals who thinks that everything
can be negotiated when the people that they're negotiating with
have zero want to follow any of the things in
the negotiation that you're going to put out there that
(45:48):
they're going to say yes to, because they're going to
lie to your face. But there's a lot of people
that feel that way. Trump has rubbed a lot of
people the wrong way, which at times has been very good.
But there are plenty of Republicans, even some that want
him to win, that do long for the day that
(46:10):
he's no longer a part of the party, a part
of the political scene. I can't blame them. I can't.
He's entertaining in the political world like nothing we've ever seen.
(46:32):
But that doesn't mean it's good. I mean, I often
laughed and I'm like, what are the Democrats going to do?
In the future when there is no Trump because everybody
they tried to brand is Trump light hasn't worked. Rohnd
De Santis was not Trump light. JD Vance is not
Trump Light. Everybody they've tried to brand is extreme and wacky.
(46:56):
It doesn't work. So what does that look like in
the future. So I understand why some people are are
hoping that he loses or he wins and goes away
fast because they do want to see what the party
looks like afterwards. I'm curious about that, aren't you? Three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four twenty three At Chad Benton show.
(47:18):
It's your Twitter, your Instagram, several of you have text in.
It's very interesting. I often wonder are you listening to

Speaker 4 (47:43):
Fine, okay, and then goes on to say, hey, there,
you just took your family on a two week vacation.
Speaker 2 (47:55):
But inflation is a problem. Shut The fu grifter is
trash like your culture. What I'm like, are you listening
to the same show because I did not take my
family on a two week vacation at all. Another person
(48:16):
uh tweets in or text in Trump is his own rival.
Stop making personal remarks, stick to the issues, and you win,
which is I think a lot of what frustrates so
many people out there in the Republican Party. They see
pass forward to Trump and he has given them a roadmap,
and unfortunately he doesn't always follow his own roadmap. A

Speaker 37 (49:51):
Los Angeles has a lot of work to do in
the next four years. To save money, venues like Sofi
Stadium Andcrypto dot Com Arena will be used instead of
building new large venues. Mayor Karen Bass back from Paris,
is everybody feels the pressure to get ready and four
years will go quickly.
Speaker 38 (50:07):
It is on so and I hope that the excitement continues.
Speaker 37 (50:10):
Mass made waves in the last week announcing the La
Olympics will be car free and only mass transit will
be allowed in this city of driving.
Speaker 2 (50:18):
No, for God's sakes, No, that's your your Ah, she's
a dumbass. Really, do you want to know why the
la Olympics will be uber successful because we don't have
to build anything. It was the reason that it was
very successful in nineteen eighty four for the most part.
Every time we host an Olympics, which should be one
(50:39):
of the things where there should only be a few
countries that host the Olympics, because these countries go spend
billions of dollars on building things, same thing for the
World Cup, and they build these massive stadiums and all
these structures. They can use very few of them afterwards,
and then they kind of go to ruin. We have
(51:03):
the infrastructure, it's pretty simple. We got every kind of
stadium you can think of. We've got all of the aquatics,
we've got the we've got everything. That's why it's successful.
And the thought that it's only gonna be we're gonna
go super green because that's gonna work, it's not. It's
not gonna work the way. It's just because here's the thing.
(51:26):
Mass transit in California doesn't work because we don't build
up we build out. It's always been that way since
I was a kid. We build out, so there's no
central location. And if you don't know, if you've never
been to Los Angeles, Los Angeles is kind of tiny, small.
(51:47):
The county's big, but the city itself is small. So
it's just this thought process. Oh, this is what we're
gonna do, and it's gonna work because we're gonna go
super green, get rid of the homeless first, and then
we'll go from there. They have a homeless problem. If
you guys have no idea, Actually, we're gonna be talking
to a guy Tomorrow's got a book out about the
housing crisis in this country and how much of it
(52:11):
is based. Yes, the mental illness is definitely a serious issue.
Three two, three, five, three, eight, twenty four to twenty
three at Chad Benson's show. Is your Twitter, tweet at
us text the program right here on The Chad Benson Show.
Drugs are a serious issue. But outside of that, this
(52:32):
fall in love with regulations in a lot of places
to the point where it becomes virtually impossible to build
a house that the average person can afford. He's got
some fixes for that. I can't wait We're gonna talk
to him tomorrow. Meanwhile, Harris, you know she's running for president,
And if you were to ask me today, do I
think she's gonna win? I at this moment in time,
(52:53):
it's gonna be close. I think it's gonna be much
tougher than a lot of people realize. But when asked
about her policy, a little thin on that.
Speaker 31 (53:01):
Trump or Kamala Kamala, how come? Just feels less abrasive.
Speaker 14 (53:07):
What do you think about our policies?
Speaker 31 (53:09):
I haven't looked too much into him as much as
I would like to before I voted.
Speaker 14 (53:14):
So do you know any of her policies? I couldn't
name one right now, Yeah, because she has none on
her website. Did you know that no still is a
little bit.
Speaker 2 (53:20):
Up in there.
Speaker 29 (53:21):
Huh.
Speaker 31 (53:21):
I assume she's gonna follow a lot of what Joe
Biden has already said.
Speaker 14 (53:26):
Do you think it's just like a second term of
Joe Biden basically voting for Kamala?
Speaker 31 (53:30):
Harris, I think she will be a little bit more assertive.
Speaker 2 (53:34):
Well, supposedly, starting tomorrow, she is going to start to
do something that I said she needed to do, which
is start to throw the old dude under the bus,
start to back away from his policies, especially on things
like the economy, start to push off on that, like
that's whatnot. I wouldn't have done that. Let's focus on
this and this is how I would have done it.
(53:56):
He did it a different way. That way isn't working.
I'm here do something else. Oh, Joe Biden wishes he
was hiding. Man, that guy is such an afterthought right now?
Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four, twenty three
at Chad Benson Show is your Twitter, It's Wednesday. We'll
do some woke stuff. A lot of other things to
get through Chad Benson.
Speaker 22 (54:16):
Show, such Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 1 (54:39):
Independent Thoughts, Independent life. This is Chad Benson.
Speaker 22 (54:44):
All right to talk.
Speaker 31 (54:45):
Tell me if I'm chipping or not.
Speaker 39 (54:46):
So me and my fiance we are getting married, right
and to be a part of our way that you
had to pay four hundred and fifty dollars for a ticket,
and that's for each gifts we invited friends and family.
Tell me why everybody that we invited has declined the invitation.
We are already have spent one hundred maybe almost close
to two hundred thousand dollars on a wedding.
Speaker 14 (55:05):
We have already pre ordered the cake, We already.
Speaker 39 (55:07):
Put down a deposit for the venue, the wedding dress,
pay everything for the wedding, DJ photographer, everything for the wedding.
And what I don't understand is that y'all spend more
money on stupid stuff, but you can't come out to
support your family and your friends at a wedding.
Speaker 2 (55:21):
Yeah, because they don't want to pay to go to
a wedding. The hell are you thinking? You guys know
my feeling. Do you not ask me to move you
and don't invite me to your wedding?
Speaker 28 (55:37):
All right?
Speaker 2 (55:39):
I know it sounds horrible, but it's just just feels
like it's a day wasted. And don't spend money on
a wedding, but you want to charge four hundred and
fifty bucks for people to come to your wedding. That's crazy.
(56:04):
It's not everybody else's fault that you spent so much
money on a wedding. And by the way, by the
sounds of it, we spent two hundred thousand dollars on
a wedding. A your fault. B It sounds like you're
trying to make that money back with the peeps oh.
Speaker 8 (56:22):
Like tell me if I'm wrong, tell it, like, is
we wrong?
Speaker 14 (56:25):
We like, let me know, let me.
Speaker 39 (56:26):
Know, because y'all pay for tickets Beyonce tickets, a thousand
dollar tickets. Y'all going to go meet Chris Brown for
a thousand something dollars, but when they come to your
friends and your family, you can't pay the ticket.
Speaker 8 (56:36):
Like these weddings ain't cheap.
Speaker 39 (56:38):
Like the weddings ain't cheap, like like look like what's
going on?
Speaker 8 (56:40):
Like I don't get it, Like, let us know.
Speaker 14 (56:43):
Are we wrong for charging for a wedding?
Speaker 2 (56:45):
You're wrong? I'll let you know this, And everybody else
is let you know you are wrong as well. They
want to go see Beyonce. They don't want to go
see your wedding. They don't. They just don't. Nobody wants
to go to a wedding, just like nobody wants to
help somebody move, or you don't want to go to people. No,
(57:07):
I don't want to go to people's weddings, and everybody
knows that. So my friends are like like if it's
my like my best friend his daughter's getting married, I'm
going with that. It's like my goddaughter, I'm gonna go
to that. But it's it's pain in the ass. Nobody
wants to do it. Nobody wants to waste a Saturday
(57:32):
where you get to be stressed, get married, do a dance.
Nobody cares. No, it's true. Just just don't get married.
And hey, guys, we're gonna have a big dinner. It's
a little party. Okay, Well all come.
Speaker 20 (57:50):
To that.
Speaker 2 (57:52):
And we'll even pick up the bill on that one.
Four hundred and fifty bucks to see your wedding. You
know what, Beyonce better be singing. I'll tell you that
right now. It's time to get woke. Every once in a while,
it's just get to get a little woke.
Speaker 3 (58:03):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (58:03):
I have been made aware of the allegations. Is there
anything you can say on your behalf?
Speaker 8 (58:09):
I'm trends you just one hr. White people are also
oppressed by racism.
Speaker 7 (58:14):
We're not.
Speaker 8 (58:15):
We are the oppressors.
Speaker 2 (58:16):
What what did you say? Do not bring that European
nonsense into this ethnic household?
Speaker 8 (58:22):
Do you understand me?
Speaker 12 (58:23):
I have hair in my armpit.
Speaker 3 (58:25):
I have it there for a few reasons.
Speaker 8 (58:27):
One lazy, two.
Speaker 17 (58:29):
The patriarchy, and three it's still exhausting.
Speaker 8 (58:33):
Oh my god, it's time for Woke Wednesday.
Speaker 2 (58:40):
We did some trans stuff last hour, trends affirming care,
gender affirming care, a bunch of crap. Activism and insanity
is what it is. Kids being pushed into stuff. A
lot of you, several of you have said you know what, Yes,
it is crazy. And a couple people claim to be
part of the LGB community uh and say, yeah, we don't.
(59:03):
We don't get it. We don't like what's going on.
We are not for what is happening to children and
being lumped into it is making us uncomfortable. And like
I've said over and over you, this isn't about the community.
If you're gay, God bless you live your life. So
my best friends are gay, I don't care, just like
they don't care. I'm straight.
Speaker 14 (59:23):
You know what.
Speaker 2 (59:23):
I I'm your friend. It's all that matters, and I
will protect I'll do everything to protect your rights. Period,
case closed, end of story. There. That's where she did
the activism to push children to do stuff.
Speaker 19 (59:37):
No, I want to talk to the kids. Parents, watch
the video and then hand the phone over to the
young kids. Hi.
Speaker 4 (59:44):
There.
Speaker 19 (59:45):
I get asked a lot are you a boy or
a girl? And I love that question and so I
wanted to just tell you, sometimes human beings are more
than boy or girl. Sometimes we're something else, sometimes we're both.
Sometimes we kind of float in between, and sometimes we're
a boy, sometimes we're a girl, because human beings are
creatures and we're wild and exciting.
Speaker 2 (01:00:10):
No, that's you're insane. You're an activist. You're pushing something
onto kids that shouldn't be pushed on. That's the problem
that so many people have with this.
Speaker 19 (01:00:23):
Hello, can we talk about the whole weirdness conversation and
the far right? It is so weird that lives of
TikTok and these far right accounts post about children obsessively.
They post twenty thirty times a day about children and
law and order SPU stuff.
Speaker 2 (01:00:44):
Isn't that weird? Isn't that weird?
Speaker 19 (01:00:49):
I will do a video that I had a sandwich
for lunch and there will be all these people there
with they're all caps. How dare you tell children you
had us sandwatch?
Speaker 2 (01:01:00):
No? No, they won't. They don't because nobody cares you
ad a sandwich. Nobody cares that you're trends or you're
floating in between whatever you're doing. What they care about
is why are you addressing children at all. It's the
same thing that goes with you know, uh drag Queen
story hour for kids? Why why why aren't you reading
(01:01:23):
to say elderly who could use somebody in particular in
a lot of places where they have nobody. Because it's
a movement. It's about activism, it's about pushing an agenda.
That's what It's not about being marginalized at this point
in time, because that's a bunch of crap and that's
(01:01:45):
why people get pissed. That's the battle that is going on.
Speaking of battles, this is interesting. I might leave this
for the next hour because I find this to be
If you're not paying it tension to what is going
on in Britain, you need to. There is a battle
that is happening in Britain over multiculturalism and it needs
(01:02:14):
to be talked about. We discussed it a little bit
with Brianna Wu the other day about the multiculturalism that
is going on in the battle that is happening in
a place like Britain where people aren't listening and what
they're doing is they're feeling like they're being pushed out
of the way by people that are being ushered into
(01:02:39):
their country for this bizarre, weird liberal mindset of utopia
and being told, not only do we want you to
come to our country, we don't even want you to
be a part of our country. We want you to
be you and your world and live it that way
and don't even try to become part of our country
(01:03:00):
as our country sucks. And then they wonder why things
are going sideways, and I think it's a big enough
thing that we need to have a bigger discussion about that.
A lot of stuff still to get to Kroger, by
the way, very big grocery store, biggest in the country,
doing some dynamic pricing. We're going to talk about that
(01:03:22):
straight ahead. Reach out to the show three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four to twenty three at Chadminton Show.
Is your Twitter? Raycon past earbuds around. I love my
Raycon so wear them all the time. Yesterday worked out

there's no wires. It's awesome. Top of that, fast charging
that's the new ones. Baby noise cancelation yeah please. Oh

Speaker 38 (01:04:47):
Joe, Welcome to cha Chat No, not the country, the
institution Chat Vincent show.
Speaker 40 (01:05:01):
Colin here is the biggest president show candidate anyone's ever seen.
And I'm gonna tell you why she keeps going off
this whole idea that whenever she's president she wants to
do this, or whenever she's president she wants to do that.
Are you not vice president right now? Anything that you
say you want to get done could probably get done
right now is vice president. But she chooses not to.
She deliberately chooses to hold out on the American people
(01:05:23):
because why would you wait to cap the cost of insulin?
Why would you wait to try to bring grocery costs down?
Why would you wait to tighten up the border security?
Like all of it's so disingenuous to me, and I
genuinely have no idea how so many people are still
falling for.
Speaker 2 (01:05:36):
It because of vibes, baby girl, vibes. The vibes are good.
She's a happy, joyful warrior. That's why. Now I will
say this, I like happy over miserable, And I'm gonna
tell everybody this right now. She'll piss some people off
on both sides, which makes a win for me. The
world's not coming to an end, Okay. If Kamala wins,
(01:06:01):
that's it for our country. No, it's not. If Trump wins,
that's it for our country. No, it's not. So everybody's
settled down that right. There is a scare tactic because,
as we always talk about on the show, it's just
easier to scare the hell out of you than to
try to reason with you and get your ideas over
their ideas. Oh, she was talking about groceries, and I
(01:06:23):
bring that up because of Kroger. So Kroger, of course,
who's already been investigated by the FTC talk about that
in a second, is doing something it's called dynamic pricing.
Speaker 41 (01:06:36):
Kroger, the largest grocery store chain in the country, is
facing questions for using electronic price tags with the ability
to change prices at the push of a button. So
Senators Elizabeth Warren and Bob Casey sent a letter to
Kroger expressing concerns about those practices potentially creating price surges
for shoppers.
Speaker 2 (01:06:57):
That happens, by the way, that if somebody wants more
of this and there's a finite amount of it, the
prices will go up. That's what happens. There is more
want that will happen. They act like it's new. Do
(01:07:17):
you remember was it about five years ago when they
started bringing out those Coca Cola machines and those soft
drink machines. And if it was ninety degrees outside, a
soda would be two dollars and if it was thirty
five degrees outside, a soda would be fifty cents. Because
(01:07:38):
they recognize, hey, during certain times, people will pay more
for certain things.
Speaker 42 (01:07:43):
We have to remember that prices are up over the
past three years about twenty five percent, a little over
twenty five percent. It's emotional and frankly, we need food
to eat. We don't have to buy an aeroplane ticket,
we don't have to buy a rental car.
Speaker 8 (01:07:58):
We do need our food eat.
Speaker 42 (01:08:00):
So the senators are really looking at two parts of this.
And also keep in mind Kroger's not the only one.
Walmart has it in twenty three hundred stores. There's other
retailers around the country that have it as well. So
Senator Warren, in case he are looking at two things. One,
as you correctly pointed out, that prices could go up.
(01:08:20):
So for example, on a hot summer day, the price
of watermelon might go up. On a cold summer day,
it might go down. And it's true that what Kroger
is saying, it does take a lot of waste out
of the system. So you don't have to have people,
you know, putting tags on those shelves. That's a very lengthy,
costly process. So it does take some cost out of
(01:08:41):
the system.
Speaker 2 (01:08:43):
Okay, well that's fine. And again this free market, free
market will solve a lot of things, which is something
the government in many cases doesn't understand. It will solve
a lot of issues if given the opportunity to actually
work and be free. What's a cold summer day. But
(01:09:03):
the other part, and by the way, this is the
scary part that other stuff, dynamic price, it happens, this
is the scary thing.
Speaker 42 (01:09:12):
But the other part that the centers are really worried about.
In the case of Kroger, their system is called Edge
and it's built on Microsoft and what they want to
do is put cameras on those shelves as well, so
it can identify that I'm a white guy. And therefore
what's going to happen is this special offers or pricing
(01:09:33):
is going to be different for me than it is
going to be you as a female. So it goes
a step beyond just the prices and that's their concern.
Speaker 2 (01:09:43):
They're going to put cameras. What there is the eerie thing.
We are being surveilled everywhere, and we are the endgame.
We are the product.
Speaker 42 (01:09:59):
Keep in mind, and there's been a lot of controversy
from the FTC over supermarket pricing as well. They're looking
at supermarket profits. They had a public hearing on August
first for the Strikeforce Committee. So a lot of activity
is happening. And then we have this looming Kroger Albertson's
merger which keeps on getting delayed that the FTC and
(01:10:20):
nine Attorney generals are suing to block. So you know,
the pricing of supermarkets is going to be a big
issue for a while. It's going to be a few
months until we see any kind of resolve. But for
us as consumers, it's not necessarily good news because putting
this technology in our supermarkets, sure, they can say, well,
we're not going to raise prices, you know for surge
(01:10:43):
pricing and so on, But once that technology is in there,
who knows.
Speaker 2 (01:10:48):
Oh, they're totally going to do it when given the opportunity,
and until consumers prove that it doesn't work, they're going
to keep it did you say strikeforce these prices? There's right,
there was some funny money. Money money suckers. There is
(01:11:12):
one who is it? A man whose vision could stop this?
Who leads an army of fighters.
Speaker 8 (01:11:20):
How could it be.
Speaker 2 (01:11:21):
The President of the United States? How could they help us?
He leads a secret strikeforce against price gouchers.
Speaker 19 (01:11:28):
Crack down on companies who break the law while keeping
prices high.
Speaker 2 (01:11:31):
And corporate greed monsters free.
Speaker 8 (01:11:34):
Is good in a world of numbers.
Speaker 2 (01:11:36):
We're prices so high. There's a force that fights for you.
Speaker 15 (01:11:40):
I'm launching a new strike force to up unfair and
legal pricing.
Speaker 2 (01:11:44):
So the next time you see prices sorry high, remember Strikeforce.
Inflation fighters are here to pander, I mean, fight for you.
Speaker 15 (01:11:53):
The American people are tired of being played for suckers.
Speaker 2 (01:11:56):
Oh my god, we're so we did then for never
going to happen. Strike Force in the herbs three two, three, five, three, eight,
twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson Show is
your Twitter tweet at us text the program right here
in the Chad Benson Show, juming up in the third hour,
(01:12:22):
got a little what's trending? Some more woke stuff as well.
Gen z are they going to play a big role
when it comes to this election. And this election is
already kind of becoming very interesting when it comes to
boys versus girls, And since you know Vice President Harris
has gotten into it, that is becoming more and more
evident that it is going to be a boys versus
(01:12:45):
girl election, especially for the youth. Talk a bit about
that as well. You can reach out to us across
all of our social media at Chad Benson Show, your Facebook,
your Instagram, your Twitter, Slash acts, and of course text
the program three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four,
twenty three Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 1 (01:13:03):
This is the Chad Benson Show, Independent Thoughts, Independent Life.
(01:13:33):
This is Chad Benson.
Speaker 2 (01:13:35):
Inflation is down. That is good news. Now the battle
will begin over who gets credit because inflation has been up.
Now inflation, when I'm talking about it being down, it
is the rate of the growth of inflation, which means
that it's still not two percent. It's at two point
(01:13:55):
nine percent. That was the growth of inflation, so where
it was last year. It is down, but it's still
higher than we want it. And the battle is who
will take the credit for it. Does this help Kamala Harris.
I still have no idea what any of her policies are.
And the reality is is can three months of maybe
(01:14:18):
good economic news make up for the last three years
of people struggling to pay their bills? Well, especially over
the last fifteen months as rates started to go up
up in.
Speaker 13 (01:14:31):
Away, Kamala Harris's administration with Joe Biden crippled families across
our entire country. There was a video of a black
woman being interviewed, I think by MSNBC talking about how
prices have gone up massively. A Bell pepper that was
two dollars is now five dollars and she was able
to get through it. But what about a single mom
(01:14:51):
with two kids, three kids, doing everything to make ends meet?
Speaker 2 (01:14:55):
Yeah, and that is going around everywhere. Here is that
clip of the lad. I don't know why we have
to bring race into this. Yes, she is a black lady.
Speaker 3 (01:15:02):
How hard has inflation hit you? It hit me hard.
It's hitting me hard. Who do you blame for it?
Speaker 5 (01:15:07):
I blame the federal government at this point. If a
working class mom who works as a paralegal cannot buy
a two dollars Bell pepper because it's now five, imagine
a mother living in a food stamps imagine a mother
who's making minimum ways trying to feed children. They're killing
us without killing us. They're killing us without telling us.
They're killing us. They're hurting people in ways that they
(01:15:30):
can't help themselves. It's either feed my child, well, how
about feed my children?
Speaker 2 (01:15:36):
And I don't Yeah, how about feed my children? Or
I don'ate go hungry because my kids need to eat.
That's somebody who is as real as it gets, and
that's what this election is about for the most part. Yeah,
there's serious stuff going on in Ukraine, in Russia now
that they've taken over about four hundred square miles of
(01:15:57):
Russia and the potential what could happen there, serious things
obviously going on in Gaza and Israel potential with they're
on we've got the border mess. But every day we
participate in the economy, every day we do. And her
policy is well short on policy. There's just not a
lot out there. And apparently she is going to start
(01:16:19):
to turn the tables and basically say a lot of
this is all Biden. A lot of this was Joe.
I wasn't in it with Joe. This was a Joe thing.
It's a lot of rara without any substance.
Speaker 13 (01:16:32):
Well, the reason why those prices have been massively expensive
is because Kamala Harris was the tie breaking vote on
Joe Biden's American Rescue Plan in twenty twenty one. She
was the tie breaking vote on the Inflation Reduction Act.
All that did was create massive government spending, which created
massive inflation on the backs of the American people. Overall
(01:16:53):
prices are up well over twenty percent, especially when you
start getting into food and other areas like that. So
Ala Harris's record has been one of leaving working families behind.
When Donald Trump was president, we didn't have a massive inflation.
Our economy was growing massively. At the same time, working
families were getting ahead, middle income families getting ahead. Everybody
(01:17:17):
was thriving. I think. So the key issue is what
was just brought up about which candidate is the candidate
of political and economic change. It's without question that candidate's
Donald J. Trump, because Kamala Harris was sitting there shotgun
with Joe Biden, creating one of the worst economic situations
for working families in the last forty years in the
(01:17:40):
United States of America.
Speaker 2 (01:17:41):
I wish Byron Donalds would have run for president. That
guy would just smoke Kamala Harris. What are policies? I
don't know? And the fact that a lot of people
out there only seemed to care about the vibes the momentum, right, baby,
It's all about the mode chat, It's all about the mode.
(01:18:04):
The mo Is rocket.
Speaker 6 (01:18:05):
Battle ground momentum. New numbers showing the Harris Walls ticket
is gaining ground.
Speaker 2 (01:18:10):
Vice President Harris gaining.
Speaker 7 (01:18:11):
Momentum, momentum in some key states this morning.
Speaker 1 (01:18:14):
Vice President Kamala Harris gaining momentum, gaining momentum, gaining momentum.
Speaker 7 (01:18:18):
Gaining momentum. Look this momentum, at this momentum, keeping the momentum,
Harris is momentum. Harris's momentum.
Speaker 8 (01:18:24):
You can't slow down the momentum.
Speaker 7 (01:18:26):
It's remarkable momentum.
Speaker 9 (01:18:27):
Mission number one is create the momentum and then keep
the momentum. What does momentum look like in the polls?
Speaker 10 (01:18:33):
Kamala Harris is doing two things here number one momentum
and number two momentum.
Speaker 14 (01:18:38):
But take a look here, clear.
Speaker 7 (01:18:40):
Momentum, so momentum, it is momentum.
Speaker 11 (01:18:42):
It is Democrats ride a wave of momentum.
Speaker 7 (01:18:44):
She does have that momentum.
Speaker 17 (01:18:46):
The Democrats are riding a wave of momentum, generating a
kind of momentum.
Speaker 13 (01:18:50):
The Harris team is going to want to keep this momentum, keep.
Speaker 7 (01:18:52):
The momentum going. They want to keep that momentum.
Speaker 3 (01:18:55):
The momentum hair is amazing.
Speaker 7 (01:18:57):
The crowds are literally insane.
Speaker 31 (01:18:59):
This momentum.
Speaker 7 (01:19:00):
It just seems, day in and day.
Speaker 2 (01:19:01):
Out, to keep getting more powerful by the day.
Speaker 11 (01:19:04):
The trend is heavily towards Harris, and it's rushing towards
Harris in recent weeks. The Vice president at this point
strong the equivalent of a no hitter in the first
three weeks of her campaign, hoping to keep that going
with the Democratic Convention next week.
Speaker 2 (01:19:18):
It's easy to throw a no hitter when the other
team's not allowed to have a bat or swing at
a ball. She doesn't answer questions, That's what I'm saying.
She's not secure in her policy. She doesn't understand what
her policy is because nobody's informed her what her policy's
going to be. All of these things are a fair
question to ask, and the fact is you're not curious
about it, even though you may love her for whatever
reason you can't figure out why you love her because
(01:19:39):
she's not Joe Biden and she's not Donald Trump. I mean,
six weeks ago, she was the lowest polling vice president
in history. She was unliked even by the Democrats. Now
she's the greatest thing ever. She's in Time magazine, She's
on the cover the article fluff piece. What did she
(01:19:59):
have to to say? Nothing because she didn't do an
interview with them. Because anytime somebody puts a microphone in
her face, people rush in and protect her like it's
an assassination attempt. Because the media is starting to get curious, Hey,
maybe we'd like to hear from her, Hey, what are
(01:20:22):
your policies? Hey? Who are you?
Speaker 21 (01:20:26):
The reality is that Kamala Harris never went through the
primary process where she had to cater to the left,
So now she gets to appear like she's in the center,
when in fact she's one of the most radical nominees
we've seen from the Democratic Party. There's exactly one reason
she's rising in the polls. It's because the media is
propping her up and our formula win this, Shawn is
ultimately we got to take this back to our vision
(01:20:48):
for policy in the future of the United States. If
we do that, we win. If we steer from that path,
we lose. I think it's that simple. And you know what,
the media does present an uphill battle, but it's up
to us to.
Speaker 14 (01:20:59):
Actually overcome that and to win.
Speaker 8 (01:21:01):
That's what I'm in favor of.
Speaker 2 (01:21:03):
Yeah, I think we're all in favor of that. I
would like to see Trump not be Trump half the
time and his policies implement it put into play. That's
the reality of where I am. It's because you like
rapists and you're orb of a person Nazi. It's because
I don't get emotional about things like to Sorry, I don't.
(01:21:28):
I'm not saying she couldn't have changed her views on things,
but how would anybody know Because she didn't go through
the primary process. They anointed her, so here we go.
But it is fair to ask the question and everybody
right or left, especially left, who is just all on
(01:21:49):
board with this? How you're not curious about anything? It's terrifying.
It's just the vibes.
Speaker 40 (01:21:58):
Baby Kamerris is the fagas presidential candidate anyone's ever seen.
And I'm gonna tell you why she keeps going off
this whole idea that whenever she's president she wants to
do this, or whenever she's president she wants to do that.
Are you not vice president right now? Anything that you
say you want to get done could probably get done
right now as vice president, But she chooses not to.
She deliberately chooses to hold out on the American people,
(01:22:21):
because why would you wait to cap the cost of insulin?
Why would you wait to try to bring grocery costs down?
Why would you wait to tighten up the border security?
Like all of it's so disingenuous to me, and I
genuinely have no idea how so many people are still
falling for it.
Speaker 2 (01:22:36):
Because she's not Trump and she is not Biden. That's it.
That is it. But how you're not curious? I am.
I want to see the policies and I want to hear,
(01:23:00):
which is more important than the policies. Why you were
behind these policies. Why when you weren't for fracking, you
are for fracking. Why when you weren't for being the
border czar slash, the border hard ass slash? Why you
are now? Why you've decided to copy Trump on the
(01:23:24):
no tips when you passed the inflation Reduction Act. One
of the things was to make sure that you kind
of go after those tips. Why you are flip flopping
on everything because we've not heard that. We've heard that
(01:23:46):
you're all these things now, but you haven't explained it.
Nobody can explain it.
Speaker 31 (01:23:52):
Trump or Kamala Kamala, how come? Just feels less abrasive.
Speaker 14 (01:23:58):
What do you think about our policies?
Speaker 31 (01:24:00):
I haven't looked too much into him as much as
I would like to before I voted.
Speaker 14 (01:24:05):
So do you know any of her policies? I could
name one right now, Yeah, because she has none on
her website.
Speaker 31 (01:24:09):
Did you know that no still is a little bit
up in there.
Speaker 14 (01:24:12):
Huh.
Speaker 31 (01:24:12):
I assume she's gonna follow a lot of what Joe
Biden has already said.
Speaker 14 (01:24:18):
Do you think it's just like a second term of
Joe Biden basically cooting for Kamala Harris.
Speaker 31 (01:24:22):
I think she will be a little bit more assertive.
Speaker 2 (01:24:26):
We'll find out she's supposed to lay out her policies
and is she going Biden two point zero? Is she
going to throw Biden under the bus, say my policies
are this and this is why they are that way,
or is she just going to continue to get a
pass from the media, in particular journalists who I think
(01:24:48):
there are some good journalists out there who, while they
are left, are also honest enough to know that they
are being played and used as a propaganda wing for
the Democrats and for Kamala three two three, five, three eight,

Ilhan Omar speaking to her supporters tonight in a tome
that shows the aggressiveness of what she perceived this.
Speaker 14 (01:29:44):
Campaign to be.
Speaker 43 (01:29:45):
Most disgusting campaign against me that I have ever ever witnessed.
Speaker 14 (01:29:52):
We had an opponent that.
Speaker 43 (01:29:54):
Was willing to align with literal Nazis in order to
defeat us. We had an opponent that weaponize.
Speaker 2 (01:30:05):
And a scandalized weaponize and a scandalized that Nazi is

former Minnesota City councilman in Minneapolis. That's who that Nazi

stuff to get you. It is the Chad Benson.
Speaker 22 (01:30:56):
Show, Ad Benson, Joe.
Speaker 1 (01:31:20):
Independent Thoughts, Independent life. This is Chad Benson.
Speaker 2 (01:31:25):
Oh, so now you care about Hunter Biden now that
Joe's gone. Oh, we could finally tell everybody the truth
and report on it. Yeah, he was selling Pop's name
and what not to try to influence Chad. That's not true.
That's Russian. Oh it's not.
Speaker 44 (01:31:42):
For years, reporters and some Republican lawmakers have been investigating
whether Hunter Biden was trading off of his father's name
to make money on business ventures overseas when Joe Biden
was Vice president. Now the New York Times reports that
Hunter Biden, while his father was serving as Barack Obama's
vice president, wrote to the US ambassador in Italy seeking
(01:32:03):
assistance for the Ukrainian energy company Barisma, while Hunter Biden
was on the board of that company.
Speaker 2 (01:32:09):
Oh really, Oh, I've always said he peddled Pop's name
for influence. Welcome to politics. How far did you go
with it? And what did Pops know? Those are questions
that are coming out as he gets closer to his
tax trial and he's got to partner his kid, right,
they used to have to pardon your kid.
Speaker 44 (01:32:29):
The Times reports that the US embassy officials appear to
have been uneasy with this request, one writing quote, I
do not want to promise too much. An attorney for
Hunter Biden confirms that he did ask the US ambassador,
among other people, for help. The attorney goes out to
say that no project or even meeting ever happened after
Biden's requests.
Speaker 2 (01:32:50):
The New York Times.
Speaker 44 (01:32:51):
Also reports that it has fought the federal government.
Speaker 2 (01:32:54):
For years to obtain these.
Speaker 44 (01:32:56):
Documents, but their request was only granted days after President
Biden withdrew from the presidential campaign.
Speaker 2 (01:33:03):
Yeah, I don't know if that's true, the first part
that you fought for years. But the reality is is
it seems like things are a change in there and
the stories are starting to change, which makes it again
hard to trust the if you will, the establishment media,
the legacy media Chad six hundred and fifty five gazillion
(01:33:23):
UH former spies and intelligence chiefs said everything was Russian disinformation. No, no,
it wasn't. Let's get woke.
Speaker 24 (01:33:33):
This support group is for people who are so woke
they're finding it impossible to have it only fundaty.
Speaker 8 (01:33:41):
It's that time to the week where we break it
down for you and get you woke.
Speaker 3 (01:33:45):
It's all right, I'll do that way too.
Speaker 8 (01:33:47):
It's all right.
Speaker 21 (01:33:48):
Clear it out, like, can we actually agree that women
get pregnant and not men?
Speaker 8 (01:33:54):
How damn you white women?
Speaker 1 (01:33:56):
Raise the white boys who grew up to be brittle.
Speaker 8 (01:34:00):
Exagimistic, petriarchal tarrants.
Speaker 19 (01:34:03):
I am kadilla here my plnounserte a time a woman
sitting at the table wearing a blue sea.
Speaker 8 (01:34:13):
It's time for woke Wednesday.
Speaker 2 (01:34:16):
Let's get woke. Shawing multiculturalism doesn't work. Touched on a
little bit last hour. What's going on in Britain right
now is not working. And with immigration the way it
is here in the United States of America, this is
a preview of what may be coming, which is, allow
everybody in the world to come to your country. Tell
(01:34:36):
them our country, for the most part, is evil and bad,
that we have no culture, and that yours is better,
and oh, by the way, don't assimilate. Everything will work
out great.
Speaker 45 (01:34:50):
We have this rather ridiculous debate among columnists and elites
in this country, which is multiculturalism is a success story.
Speaker 14 (01:34:56):
How dare you question?
Speaker 4 (01:34:57):
It?
Speaker 45 (01:34:58):
Very visible to anybody who lives out twenty five that's
not really working. What multiculturalism, the policy of multiculturalism does
is it prioritizes minority groups their history, their identity, their culture,
and their values. It says you can keep all of
those things, you can stay distinctive from the wider national community.
But at the same time it says to the majority group,
(01:35:20):
you cannot really defend and celebrate your identity, your history,
and your values, and if anything, what we want you
to do is reshape those things around universal liberal values
like diversity and multiculturalism. It's lots of British people and
English people are saying, well, hang on, how come these
groups are allowed to prioritize who they are and celebrate
it and defend it. But we're now being told that
(01:35:40):
we have to reshape our entire identity around these universal
liberal themes because.
Speaker 2 (01:35:46):
Because it doesn't work. By the way, you're getting rid
of your culture, saying you don't have a culture, and
the culture that you have is awful and it's horrible,
and it's built on lies, et cetera, et cetera, which
is a bunch of crap, a bunch of bologni but
it doesn't work. To do is look to a place
like Israel. What do you have. You've got a very
diverse country, capitalistic country, a country that is a democracy.
(01:36:10):
And on the other side you have Palestine. What do
you have? They don't want any part of what Israel
has to offer in the culture. Do you think that
would work? No, it wouldn't, and it doesn't. But somehow
all the West is supposed to allow everybody else in.
Tell them, keep your culture, keep doing you and don't
(01:36:33):
ever think about becoming part of society, or you don't
have to because our culture is awful.
Speaker 45 (01:36:38):
To say that a country is welcoming of diversity is fine, right, whatever,
but it's actually not the basis of an identity, because
it's like saying you have no identity of your own.
If the only thing that really unites you is that
your welcoming difference, well, okay, but it's also like saying
there's nothing unique about you. And many British and English
people feel there is something really unique about being British English.
(01:37:00):
It's not a race thing. It's just we've got a
remarkable set of values. We've got a great culture, we've
got a great history. But we're told time and time
again that we should be ashamed of that, we should
be embarrassed about that.
Speaker 2 (01:37:12):
And that doesn't work. And what happens is is what
you're seeing going on over there right now, the clash.
And he talked about the M twenty five. That's the
motorway that goes all the way around basically in a
big circle around London. So inside there is the culture
of oh, it's a melting pot kind of thing, and
then outside though, they take all those liberal ideas they
have and for the most part, they push them out
(01:37:33):
on everybody else and then tell everybody else when they're
pissed off that things aren't working, that it's their fault
and that they're racist, and that they're bad, and what
do you think happens. They feel like they're being replaced,
they feel like they're being tossed to the side, they
feel like they're not being listened to. It doesn't work.
I'm telling you guys this now because we're going to
(01:37:56):
be facing something very similar at the rate we're going,
especially because you've got liberal elites telling everybody in the
world out there, guess what your culture sucks? Well, culture,
the American culture, capitalism, evil, all these other cultures are
amazing and great. You should get rid of your culture.
But that culture, the reason they want to come here
(01:38:18):
is because our culture has built this. Yeah, but it
is awful. Doesn't work. Multiculturalism does not work. Speaking of
not working, so the Association for the Plastic Surgeons, you know,
like the Big whatever, I forget what they're called. They
(01:38:39):
have come out and said, hey, this gender affirming care crap.
We're not doing it. We are not doing it. Everybody else,
you guys can go do it. But we're looking at
this and saying, doing irreversible harm to children is something
that isn't going to happen. And we're not going to
(01:39:00):
do it. And a lot of it is based on
the CAST Report, which is this really controversial report that
was that came out about four months ago, three hundred
and eighty eight pages done out of Britain, looking at
people that have been transitioning and saying, hold on a second,
this is bad. There's no scientific evidence short or long
(01:39:22):
term to say this is good, and we're experimenting on
kids and doing stuff that they cannot change. Here's one
of the plastic surgeons talking about, hey, yeah, this isn't good.
Speaker 27 (01:39:32):
Well, honestly, I've been following everything that's happening in Europe
and it's not just the UK, dan it's Norway, Finland, Sweden, Germany, Denmark.
They have all began to back off, and honestly, I
think one by one we are slowly becoming the outlier
here in the United States. And I just have to
say I'm so grateful to the American Society of Plastic
(01:39:54):
Surgeons that they have had the courage to stand up
and say that the quality of evidence is poor, that
they don't have confidence that the benefits outweigh the harm.
Speaker 2 (01:40:04):
Yes, they do, the harm is far worse than whatever
benefit is out there when it comes to this, and
these activists push kids in particular into things that shouldn't happen.
In an emotional state, they do things that will hurt
their life's long term. That's why it has to stop.
(01:40:26):

Speaker 2 (01:41:56):
As a gen xer. Is one of the great scenes
in my childhood and movies. It was amazing John Bender
Breakfast Club, standing up to the man and not afraid
well to have his Saturday's ruin for quite a while.
(01:42:17):
What are you talking about, Chad? Talking about this?
Speaker 8 (01:42:20):
Eat my shorts?
Speaker 28 (01:42:24):
You just bought yourself another Saturday mister, Oh crushed? You

Speaker 2 (01:42:53):
Pal came out. You're through, not even close?
Speaker 31 (01:42:58):
Bye?
Speaker 8 (01:42:58):
Good? You got one more there?
Speaker 14 (01:43:00):
Do you really think I'd give it another? You throw?
Speaker 4 (01:43:04):
How Manias?
Speaker 8 (01:43:05):
That's seven?
Speaker 2 (01:43:06):
Clinton?
Speaker 21 (01:43:06):
Mom, When first came in and you asked us to
burn in here, whether baryon Manlon know that he raised
his closet.
Speaker 8 (01:43:11):
Now it's eight.
Speaker 2 (01:43:13):
What a great scene. And that brings me to this.
A judge who had no choice but to do what
he had to do because somebody was like Bender and
was not a fan of authority. This is you know
what you no?
Speaker 8 (01:43:28):
No no.
Speaker 26 (01:43:29):
A Michigan judge has gone viral after he sentenced Demand
to up to five hundred and fifty eight days in
jail for cursing at him.
Speaker 32 (01:43:36):
You don't come in here, you don't use it. Okay,
that's contempt. That's ninety three. That's another three. That's another
ninety three. That's another ninety three.
Speaker 8 (01:43:50):
That's another ninety three.
Speaker 2 (01:43:53):
That's a lot. That's a lot of days for contempt
for yelling. By the way, this judge, he has already
gone viral once before. You guys remember the dude driving
without a license also while zooming into his court date.
Speaker 8 (01:44:08):
That's six ninety threes consecutive.
Speaker 33 (01:44:10):
I don't know that I would it would have given
him ninety three days for each and every instance of
a curse. But I think there needed to be something. So, yes,
it was somewhat.
Speaker 32 (01:44:21):
Excessive, another ninety three, But.
Speaker 33 (01:44:24):
At the same time, the judge needed to do something
to take control of the courtroom.
Speaker 14 (01:44:28):
That's what the judge did.
Speaker 26 (01:44:29):
This is not Judge Simpson's first bout with internet fame.
Speaker 14 (01:44:32):
Are you Driving?
Speaker 26 (01:44:34):
You may remember him from earlier this year when a
man with a suspended driver's license joined his court via
zoom while driving.
Speaker 32 (01:44:41):
This is a driving want a license suspended?
Speaker 1 (01:44:43):
That is correct, your enter And he was just driving.
Speaker 2 (01:44:46):
Yes, he was and you shouldn't do that, and that
went sideways and found out that he did have a
license but didn't paid the fine earlier. But that was
just crazy. But the fact that he called in to
the zoom call of a hearing about the fact that
he doesn't have a license Andy's driving wasn't a smart
thing to do. We played this earlier and we got
(01:45:09):
a lot of comments about it, and it was a
lot of you chiming in about anxiety anxiety attacks. This
is Neateber and he is an Australian weatherman, maybe a meteorologist,
I don't know, having a panic attack live on television.
Speaker 34 (01:45:25):
And we're going to see lots more rain in the
days ahead. I'm actually going to need to stop for
a second. Some of you may know that I occasionally
get affected by some panic attacks, and actually that's happening
right now, Lisa, maybe I could hand back to you.
Speaker 35 (01:45:41):
You certainly can date and Nate wrote a great piece
online about this. He has been so open and transparent
about it. And the response when he first wrote about
it was that everyone said.
Speaker 8 (01:45:53):
Thank god Nate stopped perfect.
Speaker 35 (01:45:54):
We thought he was perfect, but actually he's now sharing something.
Speaker 2 (01:45:59):
Yeah, and it was tough to watch because anybody who's
ever had a panic attack, and I think every human
being has had a small, wonder big one. The feel
of doom and foreboding, your heart racing, you feel like
you're having a heart attack, clammy hands and your sweating
and all of this stuff. And sometimes it's it's a
stressful situation at the panic attack. Other times it's you
(01:46:22):
just don't know what happened, and you have it. This
guy had it on television.
Speaker 35 (01:46:28):
Very pleased to say that A wonderful colleague night.
Speaker 3 (01:46:31):
It's back with it.
Speaker 34 (01:46:32):
Sorry if I gave anybody a bit of a scare there.
Speaker 35 (01:46:35):
Yes, not really, because you've been very honest before about
getting panic attacks on air, and it's so great for
people to know that it can happen.
Speaker 33 (01:46:43):
To win it.
Speaker 45 (01:46:43):
GA me scared because I thought I'd have to finish
doing the weather report.
Speaker 2 (01:46:46):
Thank you all so much for helping out. It was cool.
It was cool the way you handled it and everybody.
I think that's very relatable, that kind of thing, having
a panic attack like that. The difference is he did
it on television. Speaking of the weather.
Speaker 24 (01:46:58):
Tropical Storm Ernesto can used to strengthen in the Caribbean Ocean.
We have a hurricane watch and effect for the US
and British Virgin Islands, and a tropical storm warning is
an effect for Puerto Rico. Now, Ernesto is forecast to
become a hurricane, but the worst of the impacts, which
will be mainly heavy rain and flash flooding potentially up
to ten inches of rain, is expected for Puerto Rico.
Speaker 2 (01:47:20):
Yeah, Virgin Islands. Sure where we heard that before? Ernesto.
That's interesting that brings us to this.
Speaker 19 (01:47:27):
And then I go and spoil it all by saying
something stupid.
Speaker 8 (01:47:32):
We'll take stupid pills this morning.
Speaker 29 (01:47:34):
It's the honest ones you want to watch out for,
because you can never predict.
Speaker 2 (01:47:38):
They're going to do something incredibly stupid. No, you're the fact,
stupid one with the big mouth is.
Speaker 1 (01:47:45):
Still a little after time.
Speaker 14 (01:47:48):
You should never underestimize the predictability of stupidoting.
Speaker 8 (01:47:52):
Now it's time fall stupid information.
Speaker 2 (01:48:00):
How do we get the names we get when it
comes to hurricanes? Up until the nineteen forties, it was
just the name and the place, So nineteen twenty six
the Great Miami Hurricane. Then during World War Two, when
Navy and Air Force meteorologists began to name tropical storms.
They track them after their wives and girlfriends. Then the
US military say hey, let's try something else. We'll do
(01:48:21):
it alphabetically, Abel Baker, Charlie two. Confusing for a lot
of people. That was replaced where the system thought to
be less confusing for the public. And in nineteen fifty four,
the National Weather Bureau chose to use women's names as
the standard for hurricanes. That year they saw Alice, Barbara,
Carroll and others, And now we use men. Right, there
(01:48:44):
are six groups of twenty six names that rotate annually,
and now it's Ernesto's turn. Some of the other names
you may hear this year Francine Gordon, Isaac Joyce, Kurt William,
just to name a few. Now you know three two, three, five, three, eight,
twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson Show, to Twitter,
