Speaker 1 (00:10):
Independent thoughts, independent life. This is Chad Benson.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
It is the economy stupid, We get it. Who's better?
It's all anybody cares about. If Trump does it better,
people will bite their lip and zip it. If they
think Harris can do it better, people will do it
and they'll sing from the hills. We got a woman.

(00:39):
The end of the day, we're still a checkbook voting society.
Who does it better? Is it this lady over here,
madam Vice President, who did a very hard hitting interview
with Stephanie Rule yesterday with very little specifics but a
lot of the word holistic, Or is it Donald Trump

(01:01):
who's got a track record. That's the reality of people
look back and think, Okay, we were mad at you
about COVID, and then Biden got in and he had
the shot. More people died on his watch, and now

(01:23):
we're finding out that maybe everything wasn't as above board
as we thought it was when it came to COVID.
So as much as we blame you for a lot
of that stuff in mismanagement, the fact is the new
people mismanaged the hell out of it and then tried
to shut people up. So maybe you weren't all that bad.
But then they sit back and they dream. They dream
of two dollars gas, they dream of affordable eggs, they

(01:48):
dream of stuff like that. Oh, sir, can you deliver
that again for us? That's his promise, Kenny, I don't know.
Do I think he'll do a better job. I do
think he'll do a better job. I absolutely do think

(02:09):
he'll do a better job. Will she do a better job.
I don't think she knows what she's doing at all.
I don't I think she's told to say certain things.
I mean, she did an interview yesterday and it was
just a bunch of gobblygook, the usual stuff that she
says that's absolutely useless and means very little.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
Madam Vice President, you just laid out your economic vision
for the future now, but still there are lots of
Americans who don't see themselves in your plans. For those
who say these policies aren't for me, what.

Speaker 4 (02:42):
Do you say to them?

Speaker 5 (02:43):
Now?

Speaker 2 (02:44):
That was Stephanie Rule. She asked the question. I'm going
to play the whole answer, because you need to put
it all together. I have no idea where she's going.
Rarely do I even know where she starts. Sometimes I
think she starts in the middle of a thought. Sit back, kids,
because this is going to be a long one.

Speaker 4 (03:01):
Well, if you are hard working, if you have.

Speaker 6 (03:09):
The dreams and the ambitions and the aspirations of what
I believe you do, you're in my plan.

Speaker 5 (03:17):
You know.

Speaker 4 (03:18):
I have to tell you, I really love and am so.

Speaker 6 (03:25):
Energized by what I know to be the spirit and
character of the American people. We have ambition, we have aspirations,
we have dreams, we can see what's possible. We have
an incredible work ethic. But not everyone has the access
to the opportunities that allow them to achieve those things.

Speaker 4 (03:46):
But we don't lack for those things.

Speaker 6 (03:49):
But not everyone, you know, gets handed stuff on a
silver platter. And so my vision for the economy, I
call it an opportunity economy, is about making sure that
all Americans, wherever they start, wherever they are, have the
ability to actually achieve those dreams and those ambitions, which
include from middle class families just being able to know

(04:12):
that their hard work allows them to get ahead. Right,
I think we can't and we shouldn't aspire to have
an economy that just allows people to get by. People
want to do more than just get by. They want
to get ahead, and I come from the middle class.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
No way, did you guys know that she gets from
middle class? What the hell was that? Honestly, is that
fooling anybody? Then meandered all over the place. You could
hear the engine when she takes the big goal, and
that's everybody else in the room going, oh my god,

(04:47):
here she goes. I see she's getting ready to do
something she shouldn't be doing. Right. It's like we have
a little dog named Bowie and love him to death,
but he is he's my daughter's dog, is Charlie's dog,
and they're inseparable. But you could see the little like
he will you tell him not to do something, and

(05:08):
you could see he just wants to do it so bad.
It's the same thing here, right, They tell her, all right, look,
here's still. They're gonna ask you what do you think?
And just it's like one or two sentences, get in,
get out, get in, get out. But much like Bowie Kamala,
you could see she just I got to answer it

(05:29):
with lots of words and a way she goes. And
that's what you got right there, that's what you got.
Very short on any specifics, very short on a lot
of those things. It's just again, she is she is
a word salad. She doesn't know what she stands for,

(05:50):
and that's that's not good. You know. Look, you can
say what you want about Trump, right, Oh he's a
white nationalist evil shb I tell you what, he's a
nazy Just say whatever you want to say about him, right,
because you're going to that's all the motion. And remember
when we talk about Trump very very very rarely, and
I do mean very rarely, is it have anything to
do with policy and all to do with personality. Harold Ford.

Speaker 7 (06:13):
I wish there were more specifics.

Speaker 8 (06:14):
I wish that both of them would give us a
greater feel for where they're going.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
But we have something from both of them.

Speaker 8 (06:21):
She appears to want to frame everything she's doing around
the middle class.

Speaker 4 (06:25):
The more I hear, the more I kind of understand.

Speaker 8 (06:27):
The twenty five thousand dollars to homeowners first time homeowners.

Speaker 4 (06:30):
I don't get how that fully gets us there.

Speaker 8 (06:33):
The fifty thousand dollars to start up some small businesses,
I really get more and more, but I want to
hear how it fits in a larger thing. I don't
like her twenty eight percent tax rate on corporations. I
think we have to be mindful of smaller and larger
corporations and their ability to compete.

Speaker 2 (06:48):
And you know, the fifty thousand dollars, that all sounds great,
Like you know, Sephanie rules, how are you going to
pay for any of this stuff? Well, if we get
this this, and then it's like, well, unicorns, they're going
to come down. Everyone's going to get a unicorn. And
that unicorn's name opportunity. It's again, it all sounds good.
It sounds like slogans. And the funny thing is it
sounds like she took all the slogans she knows and

(07:11):
put them all together, right, Like she just put them
all together. She's like, what do you think about immigration?
She's like, I'd like to buy the world of Coke,
Doctor Pepper Fansville. She starts from rattling off stuff. I'm
loving it. You know, it's it's it's hilarious. Scott Jennings,

(07:32):
CNN Lonely Scott.

Speaker 9 (07:34):
Now, and I do think there's a reason that in
our own CNN poll today, fifty one percent of Americans
said they judged Trump's term to be a success, and
only thirty seven percent have judged the Biden Harris administration
to be a success. There is something going on where
people are remembering what he did, how he did it,
and they're comparing it to what's happening right now. He's
hit upon an economic vein that is working for him

(07:55):
in this election. He beats Harris on it, and he
is viewed as a better president than Biden.

Speaker 10 (08:00):
Say that Trump is better than handle the economy. Just
thirty nine percent say that of Harris. There's a lot
of work for her to do here.

Speaker 2 (08:09):
There is a lot of work. And like I said,
when I get tax and emails from people when it
comes to Trump, rarely is it about anything to do
with policy. Every once in a while you get somebody
who say, well, I'm like the tax cuts, aren't like this,
that and the other. But ninety nine point nine percent
of the time, it's he's evil, he's bad, he's you know,

(08:29):
it's the second coming of Adolf Hitler. It's it's all
of that stuff that has all to do with personality
and very little to do with any of the policy.
I mean, would we all love to have somebody we love.
They're just the greatest. It's not who we are not
right now in this country, and people are looking at
their pocketbook, and inflation has been stubborn, and what this

(08:53):
administration is doing is going well, it's it's you know,
it's this person's fault towards this group's fault, towards this
industry's fault, or it's just and people aren't buying it.
They're not they're not buying it, and they're not going
to buy it because they can't afford it. That's the
other side of it. And she's not done enough to
distance herself from the president, which is also a hurterer

(09:17):
for her. I mean, all of these things are lining
up to say it's not going well. That being said,
as we sit here across the board, as evil as
you think he is and as idiotic as you think
she is, the fact is they're tied. We need to
remember that.

Speaker 9 (09:37):
The issue you're conveniently leaving out of this conversation is
they've been crushed by inflation for the last three and
a half years. I don't think it's as simple as
what you laid out Keith about race. I think they're
looking at their overall situation and saying, you know, four
years ago, eight years ago, whatever. I felt like I
was at least had a fighting chance, and today, after
being crushed, I'm in a whole ste But I do

(09:59):
think they're looking for one to blame, or to at
least say, why did these policies.

Speaker 2 (10:02):
Get inacted up on me? I'm the one who's feeling
its lonely Scott, and that's what people feel. They go
to the store and they're like, my dollar isn't a
dollar anymore. It's seventy five cents. And I feel that
and if that guy can get me back to where

(10:23):
we were before, I'll take the chaos. I'll take it
because that has no effect on my life. What does
have an effect is the day to day not being
able to afford these things. Robbing Peter to pay Paul,

(10:43):
then you rob Paul to pay Mary. Then you're like,
I better rob Mary to pay Peter. And then you
realize everybody's broke and they were trying to rob you.
People are making hard decisions. Do I turn in my
car right? Do I call and see if they'll give

(11:05):
me another extension for the electricity? Do I pay a
portion of my rent? And then you're asking for four
more years. That's a tough sell. But Wall Street's doing great.
Wall Street and Main Street are two separate things. People
need to remember that Wall Street main Street two separate things.

(11:28):
And yeah, you four to one K may be doing
great and luckily you've been able to draw on it.

Speaker 12 (13:12):
I never fully believed the assertions that somehow there was
this overwhelming reluctance of my running event. I didn't sense that.
And although the polling, the fact of the matter is,
my polling was about, you know, we're always within range
of beating this guy. But I think there were It
makes sense there are some folks who would like to

(13:34):
see me step aside so they have a chance to
move on. I get that that's just human nature.

Speaker 2 (13:40):
That is the president of the United States. From what
I hear, his name is Joe Biden. He got no
sense from anybody that they wanted him to step away.
They were like, no, not you, Joe. You're doing fantastic.
If you didn't realize that that's the number one signal
that you need to step away. He was on the
View yesterday. I'm like, why is he on the view? Well,
he's not working, which is usually pretty good at this

(14:01):
point in time, because we don't know who's running the country.
And you know Joe, and I've said this over and
over again, even with Joe, it's not about the age.
It's the number they put up there. It's about the
cognitive ability, which you lacked. That's the reality. There are
people that are ninety five years old whose cognitive ability

(14:26):
is sharp. They don't move as fast as they used to.
Let's be real, but there's sharpest attack. There are people
in their fifties who struggle for whatever reason. It wasn't
the age thing, it was the cognitive ability thing. More
from Joe Biden, the President of the United States. Where

(14:47):
is he? He's on the view How exciting.

Speaker 12 (14:52):
But that wasn't the reason that I stepped down. I
stepped down because I started thinking about him. It's hard
to think. It's hard for me to even say no,
I'm serious. Holy God, that can't be right.

Speaker 13 (15:05):
I just can't be right in the race when you
have one.

Speaker 12 (15:10):
Yes, I was confident I would beat Trump.

Speaker 2 (15:13):
He was confident was going to beat Trump again. Is
it a possibility. Of course, it's a possibility. He's the
only person that has beaten Trump. Will Chad? They cheated? Okay,
let's just get over that for the moment in time,
if you could. He thought he was the only one
who could beat Trump. His internal polling, which was his
wife and his kids, said you can do this, honey.
Stay for as long as possible. He had to go.

(15:35):
Everybody knows that. Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty
four to twenty three at Chad Benson Show. Is your
Twitter tweet at as text the program? Love hearing from
all of you right here on the Chad Benson Show.
Whatever this is going on here with Kamala Harris yesterday,
I mean, we've played some of them. We're going to
talk about it throughout the day. That interview was just

(15:58):
whatever it was. She never explains it. Even Stephanie Rule says, yeah,
I asked her questions and she never really explained it.
She doesn't have to. She's promising everybody a unicorn. Everybody
gets a unicorn, and then well, from then it's up
to you what you do with your unicorn. It's going
to be very interesting. Several people chimed in yesterday because
the whole thought about the filibuster, right, so they want

(16:19):
to get rid of the filibuster, and several of you
who disagree with me often said, look, well it's not
in the constitution. The reality is we have to keep
the filibuster, and that is going to be a big
thing going forward. If the Republicans don't have the Senate
and the opportunity to overturn the filibuster is there. That

(16:41):
is going to be a serious issue. And it's not
about oh, well, you know, they only want to do
it this once. Everybody says they only want to do
it this once, right, and then nobody else gets to
do it again. You can't do it again. We're only
doing it once, and we're the ones who get to
do it. What ends up happening. The other side goes, well,
you're not going to be in power forever and then
what well, then you're going to go and you're going

(17:02):
to flip the script. And several of you said, you
know what, I hate the fact that there is a quagmire,
if you will, inside of Congress and politics, but I
like the fact that there's those checks and balances that
slows things down. Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four,
twenty three at Chat Benson Show, that's your Twitter, your Instagram,
all of the other things coming up. We've got some

(17:24):
interesting stuff including nil that's name and likeness. What is
going on at UNLV is I think the thing that
is going to start to change the way that college
sports is run. We'll talk about that. It is that
Chat Benson, Sure, Chat into.

Speaker 1 (17:40):
Show, Independent Independent Life.

Speaker 11 (18:03):
This is Chad Benson.

Speaker 2 (18:04):
Let's talk immigration. Last night, Kamala Harris, vice President of
these here United States of America, sat down with Stephanie Rule.
Did she rule? Not so much? But immigration is a
big deal. And this is one of those things where
she she's a mess. Doesn't nobody believes anything this administration says,

(18:26):
nobody believes anything. This administration says when it comes to immigration,
I mean last week you had one of the former
heads of the Border Patrol going, yeah, they told us
all the time, basically, ignore all the rules. Do what
we tell you to do, which is do nothing, ignored, ignored.
That's why when I hear them say, you know, if

(18:46):
you had just pass the bipartisan border bill, we'd took
all the rules that we have now and not use them,
and then got more rules and not use those. That's
what we would have done. And you guys thought have
been like, oh my god, look at them they're doing souck. No,
they wouldn't. So Stephanie Rule last night looks to Kamala
and says, I'm going to ask you a question about immigration.

(19:07):
Good luck.

Speaker 3 (19:08):
Communities around the country that have legal immigration, many have
said we're at capacity, and many feel like the government
has said to them, well, adapt, sit down.

Speaker 4 (19:17):
Be quiet. This is how it is.

Speaker 3 (19:20):
What would a Harris administration do for those communities who
have taken in many, many legal immigrants but are at capacity.

Speaker 6 (19:27):
We do have a broken immigration system and it needs
to be fixed. And if we take a step back
months ago, some of the most conservative members of the
United States Congress came together with others proposed a border
security bill. Donald Trump got word of the bill, realized
it was going to fix a problem he wanted to
run on and told him to kill the bill, don't
put it up for a vote.

Speaker 2 (19:48):
So that true. Of course, some of it's true. But
they're grown men and women. They can make up their
own minds. And that bill, by the way, wasn't all
that it was cracked up to be. They always want
to make it like it was the greatest bill ever.
It was going to stop immigration imediately, and it's that
what's going to happen? You got s didn't know, but
that's what it was going to do. But it wasn't
everything it's cracked up to be. And I go back

(20:09):
to this. You've got this giant two el box of
two els, and you say to yourself, you know what,
I need more tools, But the boxes you have boxes
full of tools. My mom does this. My mom orders tools,
she leaves them in the box, and then goes and
orders more tools. For what if you're not going to

(20:32):
use these tools, why do you need more tools? It's
that simple.

Speaker 6 (20:36):
My pledge is that when elected president, if the American
people will have me.

Speaker 4 (20:40):
I will bring that.

Speaker 6 (20:41):
Bill back and I will sign it into law. And
we need a comprehensive plan that includes what we need
to do to fortify not only our border, but deal
with the fact that we also need to create pathways
for people to earn citizenship.

Speaker 2 (20:57):
Ooh sorry, that's a nice Oh so wait, break the law,
get rewarded. Hmmm, break the law. Yeah, break the law.
If you were to give a pathway to citizenship. And
I'm not talking about the dock a kids, I'm talking
about the people that have come here legally, you have
a pathway to citizenship to those people, then everybody who

(21:20):
did it right, you need to go back and refund
every penny that they had to pay to go through
the program. This is ridiculous. You're insane. You're insane. And
by the way, when when when we talk about people
feeling abandoned, we talked about stuff, you know, when it

(21:41):
comes to like whether it is you know, pick your
poison when it comes Oh, Chad, you said poison. That's
another rate that does a dok Westall, do you whistle
the dogs? We just talked about the the the whatever
city you're talking about today, whether it is Springfield, right,
or or whether it's a small town in you know,

(22:02):
you know, outside of Birmingham, Alabama, or it's a town
in Pennsylvania. People are frustrated and they do feel abandoned.
That's why I said you can get Don't get mad
at the the the people that have come here and
it broke through our broken system, which they continue to
break and take advantage of. Don't get mad at them.

(22:24):
Get mad at the fact that nobody wants to do
anything about it, and that even if there is stuff
in place, which there was when Trump was in office,
you've decided to get rid of all of those things
and then say we need more tools, but you just
you just what, No, you don't and then you drop

(22:45):
them off in the middle of wherever, and the cities
are supposed to just take them in with no say
in any of this. And as they take them all in,
you've got culture clashes. You have all of this stuff
going on, and oh, by the way, they're getting services
that others feel like, you know what, we could use
some of those.

Speaker 14 (23:04):
But I can tell you personally that when I worked
at the grocery store and I cashed them out, the
receipts were alarming thirteen thousand dollars on EBT food, not
including the twenty nine thousand dollars that was on EBT cash.

Speaker 2 (23:23):
Yeah, two thousand on their EBT cash ballance left.

Speaker 15 (23:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 16 (23:28):
An as a cashier, you can see that, yes, and
you're like, holy what are you thirty.

Speaker 17 (23:32):
Brand on that.

Speaker 14 (23:33):
It's infuriating one person's car. It's infuriating. Yes, we're so,
they're not getting six hundred and while they're depressed, very well.

Speaker 2 (23:45):
They're gonna be honest with you. It makes me want
to just go through the border and come back if
I'm getting that kind of money. That is insane. That's
what people feel like. She's not telling the truth. How
do you know she's not telling the truth? You know
what's funny when I hear people say she's lying to
make them look bad, do you you wanted to be lying,
because if you knew the truth, you would say to yourself,

(24:06):
sweet Mother of God, we can't allow this to happen.
But we have get mad at your town, right, your municipality,
your county, your state, and most of all, get mad
at the federal government. And the money is better. This
person talks about it. And by the way, I have

(24:28):
friends who are doing it.

Speaker 18 (24:29):
A county and state that one of my airbnbs is
in is offering me ten thousand dollars a month to
house illegal aliens. I might do it because the rent
on this house to a long term rental to people
in the United States that would need housing, as a
lot of people say, is between eighteen hundred and twenty
five hundred dollars three nice house in a decent area.

(24:49):
There's good in bad parts of this area, and that's
why the rent isn't that much long term, and on
Airbnb it makes about five to six thousand dollars a month.

Speaker 2 (24:58):
I've got friends who are doing this. They've got places
in California, and the Federals have come in and said
we'll give you this and like bye by my people
that we're here. Maye. The money's too damn good. The
money's too damn good. Just insane.

Speaker 18 (25:18):
It's a bigger house, so they can obviously fit more people,
and it's furnished, which they really really like.

Speaker 7 (25:24):
Now this is the first reach out I've gotten about this.

Speaker 18 (25:26):
I've heard of like two other airbnb hosts getting this,
but just crazy numbers and it's crazy all around.

Speaker 7 (25:32):
Like one Where is this money coming from?

Speaker 2 (25:33):
Two?

Speaker 7 (25:33):
Why are we paying for it?

Speaker 2 (25:35):
Three?

Speaker 18 (25:35):
Like, I will gladly take it, but we're not housing
our own citizens. This isn't a political post. This is
a what is going on post?

Speaker 2 (25:43):
It's it's nuts again. Be mad at the government. Be
mad at the government because they've allowed this to happen.
They have fostered the opportunity for people to come here
and to take advantages of our services. And that's why
people are pissed. You want to know why Trump's polls
numbers aren't going anywhere, and in fact, in many cases

(26:04):
are moving in the right direction because people are looking around,
going all right, this can't happen anymore. This can't I'll
take a mean tweet, right whatever, I don't care this,
this can't happen.

Speaker 18 (26:14):
I replied to them, and I said I would do
it if you paid in full in two full years.

Speaker 7 (26:19):
So basically, write me a check for two hundred and
forty thousand dollars.

Speaker 18 (26:22):
And they're actually considering doing burn the house down.

Speaker 7 (26:25):

Truck two four to three zero eight. What's going on
in college football? You're going to freak out when you
hear this. I thought it would happen. Quicker. This is
the Chad Benson.

Speaker 20 (28:30):
Show, Deep States, No deep doo doo e the chat
Benson Show.

Speaker 21 (28:46):
Remember the NFL kicker who became famous for talking about
traditional gender roles, Well, he is now getting the last laugh.

Speaker 2 (28:55):
Just so we all know where we're coming from.

Speaker 21 (28:58):
Here's the graduation speech made Harrison Bucker famous just a
few months ago.

Speaker 2 (29:04):
Uh oh.

Speaker 16 (29:04):
Some of you may go on to lead successful careers
in the world. Maybe, but I would venture to guess
that the majority of you are most excited about your
marriage and the children you will bring into this world.

Speaker 2 (29:14):
How could you say that?

Speaker 16 (29:15):
I can tell you that my beautiful wife, Isabelle would
be the first to say that her life truly started
when she began living her vocation as a wife lives
some mother.

Speaker 21 (29:24):
Bucker's jersey sales now put him eleven in the NFL. Wait,
what head a fellow chief and boyfriend of Taylor Swift,
Travis Kelsey.

Speaker 2 (29:33):
Yeah, that's what happens. He didn't say anything weird. Remember
that though? How that became a huge thing. It's like,
oh my god, how dare you say that? It's awful?
Because all women want to do is work? That's all
they want to do, work and be frustrated because they
can't find a good man. But they don't want a man,
but they kind of do. And all they want to

(29:57):
do is climb the corporate ladder. That's it all they crave.
What how dare he say that? Yeah, he said it.
Damn good of him to do so. The options are
out there kids. Now here's the funny thing. His jersey's
selling like hotcakes. His team stood up for him, which
again is weird in the day and age. Everybody goes, no,

(30:18):
don't know if I should do that, And a lot
of women are the purchasers of his jersey.

Speaker 21 (30:28):
Right after the graduation, the women's version of Harrison Bucker's
Personalized Years sold the most. It's a story you won't
hear about on CNN. Evidently we know why because here
was their reaction to the original speech.

Speaker 22 (30:42):
I mean, it's unbelievable what Bucker was saying in this speech,
saying that women might be better off staying at home
instead of pursuing careers.

Speaker 2 (30:52):
It's twenty twenty four.

Speaker 4 (30:54):
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (30:55):
And it's twenty twenty four. Women can decide for themselves
and by the way. He never said that number.

Speaker 21 (31:00):
Of them decided to buy Harrison Bucker's jersey.

Speaker 2 (31:03):
He never said that. He never once said you're better
off staying at home. He said, you're probably most excited
about being a mom and being a wife. He didn't
say you better stay at home. They make it seem like, well,
you know what he did was he brought out a
dishwasher and then chained a woman to it and made
her have a baby right there. Bunch of clowns. You

(31:25):
guys say, clowns speaking of football if you're not paying
attention to what's going on at UNLV, not a shocker,
but what ramifications could come from it and the reality
of what college sports has become is there. So the
quarterback he left the team yesterday at a time when

(31:47):
they're ranked in the college top twenty five, I think
for the first time in forever, maybe ever, there's a
battle to get them to move to a different conference.
They've got the two most important games potentially ever in
front of them, and their quarterback said, I'm out. What, Yeah,

(32:09):
he's out? Well, why is he out? For Sluka? Moving forward?
He's going to red shirt this year.

Speaker 23 (32:15):
I was told today he's going to find a pro
quarterback trainer, trained for a few months and then and
roll in his next school in December when the transfer
portal opens. He was at holy Cross last year. He
graduated in the spring, so he did not get to
UNLV until summer camp. So Suka's going to go have
a chance to develop and this is a play for
him to attempt to maximize his professional chances.

Speaker 2 (32:38):
No, it's because they promised him a lot of money
and they never delivered. That's what happened. And you're going
to see this more and more. The coaches promised him
they could get him one hundred thousand dollars if he
transfers there, and he did and he didn't see it.
Now people are the difference to him and maybe other

(33:02):
kids out there that are going to play, is he's
a graduate student, so he doesn't you know. It was like, well,
this is about education. He's done. He's already graduated. So remember,
you have four years of eligibility if you graduate in
a year. If you were to I did everything, I'm
the smartest. I graduated in a year. You still have
four years of eligibility. You can play. You just show

(33:24):
up and play. You don't go to a school. You
don't do anything because you're already done. But they promised
him money and they didn't deliver, and he said to
himself self, nah, I'm not going to do this. I'm out.
This is going to happen more and more.

Speaker 23 (33:39):
And honestly, everybody's reaction was, we're shocked this hasn't happened sooner,
and the nil world because essentially these programs outsourced the
payment through a third party, and the coaches technically and
all stress technically, can't negotiate these deals themselves. All those
vagaries create wide open loopholes for things like this to happen.

(34:00):
Miscommunications pointed fingers, et cetera.

Speaker 2 (34:04):
I'm surprised it hasn't happened sooner, but you're going to
see this more and more. You're going to find out
that guys are promised a quarter of a million dollars
a new ferrari and they get none of it. And
they said, well, what the hell am I doing here?
So they're going to play their first three games. Remember,
if you play four games, that means you've played the season.
If you play three games, you can still red shirt
as if that season and those stats and everything didn't count.

(34:26):
They want to maximize their dollars. And for a lot
of players who are great college players will probably never
play in the pros. This is your chance to get
a jump start in life where you might make one
hundred and fifty or two hundred thousand dollars. You could
stalk away come out of your college experience with the
position where you can buy a house or do certain
things like that. You're going to see this more and

(34:48):
more three two, three, five, three, eight, twenty four to
twenty three at Chad Benton shows your Twitter tweet at
us text the program. It's going to tweet from. Somebody says, Chad,
you sound a little echoey. We are on the road,
so it's one of those things where we're doing the
show from a couple different places. So it'll be fixed
by tomorrow. So you'll have to bear with me. And
I appreciate you reaching out, but we are fine. We're

(35:09):
just on the road right now, getting ready for a
mass deluge of water later on today. My kids are
super excited right here in Nashville. I love Nashville so awesome.
So I want to let you guys know that kids were
very excited to see trees. They're like, what is this?
Are these trees? I've read about these in the books?

(35:29):
Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four to twenty
three at Chad Benson Shows, Your Twitter, tweet, at is
text the program right here on the Chad Benson Show.
Coming up. A lot of stuff to get to in
the next hour, including a new thing we are going
to do that is going to be fun. It's not
about the video. It's about the comments of the video,

(35:52):
and if you're like me, more often than not, the
comments of the videos that are out there on your
tiktoks and your res and all of that stuff. It's hilarious.
We're gonna do a little bit of that. We've got
a bunch of other stuff to get to, including the
latest on Hurricane Helene. She's coming three two, three, twenty

(36:16):
four to twenty three at Chad Benson Show, to Twitter, tweet,
atis texts show. It is the Chapinsine Show.

Speaker 1 (36:22):
This is the Chad Benson Show, Independent Thoughts, independent life,

(36:52):
This is Chad Benson.

Speaker 2 (36:53):
Now, while we debate all of the stuff going on
in our political world, there are other things happening globally
that we are well part of. If you will we're
funding them. Case in point, Ukraine, let's start there. Yesterday
Trump talking about Selenski and Ukraine and Russia, Russia, Russia.

Speaker 24 (37:14):
Look at the war in Ukraine, and I think it's
something we have to have a quick discussion about because
the president of Ukraine is in our country and he's
making a little nasty aspersions toward your favorite president.

Speaker 25 (37:29):
Me.

Speaker 2 (37:29):
It would have never happened.

Speaker 24 (37:31):
If I were president to start off with, and there
didn't even have to be a settlement. There wouldn't have
happened period. Russia wouldn't have gone. And I spoke to
Putin about.

Speaker 14 (37:39):
It a lot.

Speaker 2 (37:41):
I got along very well with Putin. I spoke to
him a lot.

Speaker 24 (37:46):
I watched this poor guy yesterday at the United Nations.

Speaker 2 (37:49):
He didn't know what he was saying. They just don't
know what to do.

Speaker 24 (37:55):
They're locked into a situation.

Speaker 2 (37:57):
It said, they just.

Speaker 24 (37:58):
Don't know what to do because Ukraine is God, it's
not Ukraine anymore. You can never replace those cities in towns,
and you can never replace the dead people, so many
dead people. Any deal, even the worst deal, would have
been better than what we have right now. If they

(38:20):
made a bad deal, it would have been much better.
They would have given up a little bit and everybody
would be living and every building would be built.

Speaker 2 (38:32):
So you know how the left reacted. Oh he loves
the pooter. Man, This guy loves the pooter. You know,
they're just best friends, pen pals. Makes you laugh. Look,
unlike some of my other counterparts out there, we don't
need to abandon Ukraine. That being said, for the people

(38:52):
on the left out there who become warmongers, they got
Crimee back when Obama was president. Remember on the eve
of the closing ceremonies of the Olympics, they took it.
There's been battles there for well over a decade, long
before Trump was in office. At some point in time,

(39:16):
you have to accept the fact that you aren't going
to get that thing that you wanted the way you
wanted it. And we can't fund this forever, says nobody
ever in the government, by the way, So how did
the people react. Here's David Igmasias of the New York Times.

(39:38):
I don't know if you're aware of this. They are
kind of a liberal news organization talking about you know,
Trump and his lust in love for the booter, and
how dare he do that?

Speaker 25 (39:47):
Trump really is waving the white flag here. The quote
from the little Stuff we just saw, Ukraine is gone
practice he's ready to declare this role, when he's ready
to install a peace plan that would essentially be a
Russian victory.

Speaker 2 (40:05):
He says Ukraine's gone. He also says so.

Speaker 4 (40:07):
Many dead on the Ukrainian side.

Speaker 22 (40:08):
He doesn't mention, of course, the one million Russian casualties.

Speaker 25 (40:14):
It's true that Ukraine and Russia both are just punching
themselves into the ground. I just was in Ukraine and
I wrote after that visit that Ukraine is bleeding out.
There's a generation that's dying on the battlefield. It is
a horrific war. But the idea that the answer to that,

(40:34):
this terrible, terrible sacrifice, is to essentially concede to Russia
and to putin his demands. As I said at the beginning,
it's shocking.

Speaker 2 (40:45):
Okay, So what would you have them do? By the way,
up until several months ago, if you were in your
early twenties, late teens, early twenties, mid twenties, you weren't
fighting that much on the battlefield. Because they recognize, look,
we need to rebuild our society. We can't have young
men and women being slaughtered because who's going to rebuild

(41:06):
our society? Who's going to populate our country? But now
they have no choice? Is that about waiving the flag?
It's about saying, hey, well, what do we do? Do
we just fund this forever? By the way, you know,
who's not losing us, We're not losing. Why is that

(41:27):
Let's talk about some of that stuff, shall we? Yesterday
another three hundred and some million dollars that we essentially
told them swipe the card and then three hundred and
some million dollars weapons will go over there. Our people
are doing just fine on the other side of it.
What's gonna happen after the war? That is a very

(41:52):
interesting thing, right like, because eventually they're going to come
to some sort of agreement at some point in time,
and then there's gonna be the post war, and post
war means our companies are going to move in and rebuild.

Speaker 26 (42:06):
At an event focused on reaffirming support for Ukraine's post
war reconstruction efforts, President Biden said the US is committed
to giving Ukraine the resources it needs to build back
stronger than it was before Russia's invasion.

Speaker 12 (42:18):
This war has shown Ukrainians can do anything they set
their minds to. Today we show Ukrainians you're not alone
the president.

Speaker 26 (42:28):
On Thursday, we'll meet with President Zelenski at the White
House and he'll announce a new three hundred and seventy
five million dollar security assistance package for Ukraine.

Speaker 2 (42:38):
We're printing money and we're handing it back to ourselves,
and then we're telling these companies because that's what's going
to happen. Our company is going to over and rebuild
a hell out of that. Let me Starbucks on every corner.
Welcome to Krispy Kremes. And let's not forget all those
awesome natural resources that maybe we're going to have a

(42:58):
chance to get a hold of. About a conspiracy theory,
just being one hundred percent honest, how many more hundreds
of thousands have to die? We would love it if
you would kick the crap out of the Russians and
throw them out of there. Here's the thing. You're gonna
run out of people before they do. Then what out
of curiosity? Then what? No? Am I a believer that

(43:19):
we should wave the white flag? Hell no, not to
the pooter. And I don't think when he says, well,
I'll blow you up with Mysian the rokits. And if
you think about doing something on nuke, you're not gonna nuke.
You're not stop letting him draw the line. That being said,
we have to come to some realization that this isn't
going to go the way that Zelensky wants, which is

(43:41):
eventually you push them back over the Russian border and
then you secure it and you make it all yours again.
It isinn't gonna happen.

Speaker 25 (43:47):
So the question for me is why are Republicans who
widely disagree with this on Capitol Hill gonna say something,
gonna say this is unacceptable to us that our candidate
speaks in effect on behalf of the adversary of our
ally Ukraine.

Speaker 4 (44:06):
And you will support a lot of Yeah, but.

Speaker 25 (44:14):
It is true that the war in Ukraine is nearing
a crisis point. Ukraine cannot continue indefinitely, and it either
needs more weapons or it needs a new jolt of
American led diplomacy. But this current status quo, as long
as it takes idea that we've had let's just keep
fighting a war of attrition on someday that Russians don't

(44:37):
give up, that's really not a sensible strategy, but.

Speaker 2 (44:41):
That's what you guys are advocating for, and some sort
of diplomacy isn't going to work because obviously Putin doesn't
give a rat to ask about any of what you
guys have to say. So he just said that part
out loud, which gave you guys the opportunity, David Ignatius
and everybody over at Morning Joe to kind of say
the same thing. But blame him for saying that they
want to give up to Putin. No, it's about coming

(45:01):
to the realization that you want this to be the
Ukraine that you dream of where you've got Crimea and
everything else. It ain't going to happen. And long before
Trump got there, and yes, while Obama was in office,
guess what, they've been warring for a long time in
certain areas throughout there. Everybody recognizes that you had Russian
speakers Ukrainian speakers. They want to be more Russian, they

(45:24):
want to be more Essentially, it is the Soviet Union
in that area fighting over who gets to be what.
But the war of attrition again, Russia will win, but
we could get in there and do some great old diplomacy, right, Yeah,
how's that going elsewhere.

Speaker 17 (45:39):
President Joe Biden calling for collaboration and diplomacy.

Speaker 12 (45:43):
COLA statement for twenty one day ceasefire along we are
rarely revenue.

Speaker 17 (45:51):
Borders put in a damning statement this morning, Israel poor
and cold water on the idea, Natanya Who's office saying
they haven't even responded to the idea. And that's the
news about the supposed directive to moderate the fighting in
the north is the opposite of the truth.

Speaker 2 (46:06):
Yeah, that went over like a fart in an elevator.
They're not listening, and in fact, it's about to get
a whole lot worse.

Speaker 17 (46:15):
The Prime Minister instructed the IDEF to continue the fighting
with full force. This comes as Israel calls up thousands
more military personnel to serve near its northern border with Lebanon,
and Israel's Chief of staff on a tour of the
area telling troops that military boots will enter enemy territory.

Speaker 2 (46:33):
Think about that, military boots heading into Lebanon. This is
another front opening up, and where's our great diplomacy. It
isn't working, at least not with this president.

Speaker 17 (46:42):
Thanks fair to say, growing fits here that far worse
is yet to come. That Nettanyahu statements almost immediately pouring
cold water on the Biden administrations.

Speaker 2 (46:51):
The EU sees fire plan just in casee.

Speaker 17 (46:53):
You're any doubt about the Israeli position. The Israeli Foreign
minister just tweeting there will be no ceasefire in the North.

Speaker 2 (47:00):
So you've got Ukraine struggling, and we're funding the whole lot.
For the most part. Yes, they've given some stuff, but
on top of that, they're given it because we're forcing.
They're giving it because they recognize that, Hey, you know,
maybe if Russia jumped and got a little bit further,
we could be into situation. Russia at this point in

(47:21):
time has seen what has going on. He wants some
sort of victory. How do you give him all an
off ramp where they feel like they've done something, And
when it comes to what's going on over there, I
think Israel's had enough and they're not listening to anything.
And it showed you last week once the Pager thing happened,
and the fact that our people didn't know anything about
it outside of there was going to be an incident

(47:45):
shows you how much trust they have in this government.
Three two, three, five, three eight twenty four to twenty three,
atch had been to show sur Twitter, your Instagram, all
of the other things. A lot of stuff still to
get to this hour, including something new we're going to try.
And it is about comments, not the content of the video.
It's the content that you're like, oh, but the comments

(48:08):
of the video are far more entertaining. And plus, what
if Brad Pitt said he loved you on one app?
What would you do? Three two, three, five three twenty
four twenty three at Chad Betson show that's your Twitter,
your Instagram? Roughgreens are uffgreens dot com, slash yet, vitamin's, minerals,

was virtually bald because he had itched it so much.

(48:52):
Within days, the transformation had started as beginning was like chiapet.
The hair started growing back up. He stopped itching the
ConA Shane came off. He's back to being a giant
scolfish cat with If you love your animals like I

Speaker 11 (49:47):
You're listening to the Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (49:50):
We've never taken that direct hit. It's supposed to be
moving fast, so I'm worried about the winds. One in
the water.

Speaker 27 (49:55):
We got three big trees over the house years old,
and I'm not sure.

Speaker 2 (50:00):
Sure that's ever seen a storm like this.

Speaker 28 (50:02):
I hope when we come back our house is still
the same as it was.

Speaker 29 (50:07):
As we left it.

Speaker 2 (50:08):
But not really nervous, just being cautious of what's going
on around us.

Speaker 30 (50:13):
I am more or less focused on really deciding on
what is important for the rest, you know, to have
for the rest of my life.

Speaker 2 (50:22):
I mean, really, that's that's what I'm focused on. We're
gonna hunkle now.

Speaker 31 (50:26):
I told the family, if you need to come in,
we all hunkle down together and we make the best
of it.

Speaker 2 (50:33):
Rocked you like a hurricane. I am ready, baby, She's
gonna smash into parts of the panhandles, so be prepared
to be prepared. Lots of flooding things of that nature
are going to take place, and this is one of
those ones. I was talking to producer Anthony who was
in hot Atlanta. They've been drenched in certain areas. You've

(50:56):
got several storms moving about, if you will.

Speaker 13 (50:58):
Colleen is now a hurricane gaining strength on a collision
course with Florida Interstate four packed with vehicles. Tallahassee, Florida's
capital city of more than two hundred thousand people, directly
in the path Chris Osmar among many leaving.

Speaker 2 (51:13):
I got a bad coming about this one. If we've
never taken that direct.

Speaker 13 (51:16):
Hit down the coast, ambulances transferring patients out of low
lying Pacady in a hospital in Saint Petersburg.

Speaker 2 (51:23):
Which is not in Russia but is in Russia, it's
a different one if you get where I'm going with that.
So this thing is has the potential to be big.
And we've always talked about this. You know, the winds again,
many places with stand the winds. It is the surge
of water that is dangerous, and that's what people have
to pay attention to. Rarely does that happen. They think, oh,

(51:43):
it's gonna be a lot of rain. Luckily, I think
this thing's moving rather quickly comparatively to something that just
hovers about and drops just god awfuls amounts of water.
But be safe out there. Be smart. I don't know
how many times you hear people get caught up in
stuff they shouldn't be.

Speaker 5 (52:02):
We're expecting these hurricane conditions to extend well outside the
center of the storm. Also, with the rain, up to
twelve to eighteen inches of rain, possible life threatening to
catastrophic flash flooding.

Speaker 2 (52:14):
Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four, twenty three.
That is your text line. You can also live at
voicemail there if you'd like to, and check out our
ex at Chad Benson Show right here on the Chad
Benson Show. So if you're out there and you're listening
and you hear my voice, you know what to do.

Speaker 30 (52:33):
Right.

Speaker 2 (52:33):
You've been through these. Just be smart. We shouldn't have
to talk about common sense this way. But again, common
sense isn't as common as people make it out to be.
Still playing a lot of last night's very dangerous vice
presidential interview, Kamala Harris did some of the hard hitting questions.

Speaker 3 (52:52):
First one, just a fact check because your opponent, there's
a little today, seems to be talking about this. So
I just want to ask you, yes or no? At
any point in your life have you served to all
beef patties, special.

Speaker 4 (53:03):
Sauce and let us cheese pick those.

Speaker 3 (53:05):
Onions on as we see looking at a McDonald's.

Speaker 4 (53:08):
Yes or no, that's it. I have okay, now, the other.

Speaker 6 (53:11):
Job, but it was not a small job, like I
didn't rise.

Speaker 2 (53:15):
I mean, you know, well she did the fries and
uh so they got that going on, And the whole
thing is people keep asking, Okay, well, where is all
the pictures? Where is all the the the you know,
everybody's got pictures at one of their jobs or another.

Speaker 20 (53:30):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (53:31):
It's funny. If you go into Snopes, they're like, eh,
we can't confirm it or not. McDonald's hasn't said anything.
So it continues to be a story because that's what
we do. We take something, we obsess over it, and
we make it something it shouldn't be. I'm sure she
probably worked there, Do I care?

Speaker 13 (53:46):
No?

Speaker 2 (53:46):
Does it make her seem more down to earth? That's
what everybody wants? Could you be more down there earth?
Tell everybody who worked to McDonald's. That makes it down
to earth? Does it really? Three two, three, five three
twenty four twenty three At Chad Benson Show, Twitter tweeted
his text program So Much Stuff to Get Too Still,
including a new segment called It's not about the video,
It's about the comments, because, as you know, if you

(54:10):
look at the comments, they're far more entertaining than the video.
This is the Chad Benson Show, but Chad.

Speaker 1 (54:18):
Benson, Joe, independent thoughts, independent life, This is Chad Benson.

Speaker 2 (54:44):
I hated picture day, but nobody ever asked me the
question can I have your soul? I would have been like, lady,
I'm a ginger. I'm the one who takes souls. That's
what they always say about gingers, isn't it? Check this out?

Speaker 32 (54:59):
Parents, drop can it's all for picture date? In chesapeak
of this week, That's when Rachel felt sun meant a
hired photographer.

Speaker 33 (55:05):
She asked him, can I steal your identity? His response
was just no. Her next question was can I eat
your soul?

Speaker 2 (55:15):
You know?

Speaker 33 (55:15):
When he was expressing it to us, he was crying,
he was very upset, and he said, you.

Speaker 32 (55:21):
Know no, she said. The photographer mentioned being a demon.

Speaker 33 (55:24):
Her response was, well, demons don't eat noodles.

Speaker 2 (55:29):
Okay, granted, I'll give you the demons don't eat noodles,
But no, lady, you can't have my soul. And I'm
ashamed that you are here trying to get souls from kid.
You're not a good demon, are you? Yep? Can you
believe what would you do? This is why my kids
don't go to public school. I'm kidding they do.

Speaker 33 (55:49):
You can say all the things you want to say
about good versus evil and God versus the devil or
demons or whatever. But at the end of the day,
what was said was not funny and it wasn't okay.
It was a child in an uncomfortable situation.

Speaker 32 (56:04):
She says. Her child told a teacher and wrote out
a report.

Speaker 33 (56:07):
It went to the principal, who is amazing school handled it.
They were very quick. They immediately escorted her off the premises.

Speaker 2 (56:18):
Yeah, I would I would hope that would happen. I
mean I would have been absolutely pissed. I mean, who
wouldn't because by the sounds of it, this was not like,
oh my god, you're so cute, I guess one of you.
This was like I want to eat your soul. You're like, what, ma'am.
I'm seven and I have two different colored socks on,
and I haven't brushed my hair, and this is the

(56:38):
best it's going to get today. I would have been
absolutely I think the wood would be apoplectic.

Speaker 33 (56:47):
It's a very scary situation to be a parent and
know that your child was put in an uncomfortable situation,
but then hearing that he was so bold to be
to know that, like, this isn't okay. Something isn't right.
We need to say something, and he did.

Speaker 32 (57:07):
She's hopeful the incident will encourage other parents to talk
to their kids about saying something when things don't.

Speaker 33 (57:14):
Feel right, whether it's good or bad, you have to
have conversations, you have to have open dialogue, and you
have to just teach them that you have to stand
up for yourself one.

Speaker 2 (57:26):
Hundred percent right there, And that's the last time they're
gonna use Demon soul eater photography. How weird is that?
It's a weird time in America? Speaking of that in schools,
guess what a father did in Florida with his kid. Hmmm, parents,

(57:46):
are you paying attention?

Speaker 27 (57:47):
Florida father turns at his own son because he made
school threats on Snapchat. But already this school year and
we're just in September here, there have been more than
twenty school shootings. Think about that. The school year practically
just started. But that gets us to this next point
where we are seeing this change in system, if you will,
and it begain Earlier this year, you mentioned the Crumbles.

(58:08):
The parents of Ethan Crumbley convicted and sense to at
least ten years in prison for allowing their.

Speaker 2 (58:12):
Son to have access to a firearm.

Speaker 27 (58:14):
They became the first parents convicted at a school mass
shooting in the United States. Then, just a few weeks
ago in Georgia, winder Georgia, Colin Gray, father of a
q school shooter, Colt Gray, he was arrested help without
belle on suspicion of second degree murder and manslaughter. Remember
this story, cops say, Colin, this is the dad allowed
his son access to the weapon they believe he used

(58:35):
to shoot up Appalachi High School, killing two students and
two teachers.

Speaker 2 (58:40):
So pop sees this on snapchat? Where do we begin?
First of all, why does your ten year old have
a snapchat? That's a question right there. Secondly, good for
you doing so, because you must two things. Either you
really think he's serious about doing this or you're there

(59:04):
to teach him a lesson, because you must have thought so,
like you must have thought all right, like maybe he's
not serious, but I can't take that chance. It's seven
years from now. He pops off and does something ridiculous
and they go back and go do you know these
snapchats he said this and parents, and this is how
you get him accountability. And look, if your kid goes

(59:27):
out and steals a gun, and you don't know about it.
That's what are you gonna do? If you tell everybody
my kid needs help, you shouldn't have him in school,
but you make him go to school and then he
does something ridiculous. You've got to now make sure that

(59:47):
you are on the record every step of the way
as a parent when it comes to kids who potentially
may do something. And let's be real, I mean you
should like if your kids there, totally dad, I'm going
to go and shoot up the school. There's a difference
between a joke and it's a bad joke in today's world.
Just see it. But there are kids out there who

(01:00:10):
you think, I'm not sure what's going through their mind.
Maybe they're serious, maybe they're not. Why does your ten
year old have a Snapchat?

Speaker 27 (01:00:16):
Then it say it's like California and Illinois as well.
You know they have strict safe storage laws that require
firearms to be securely stored, right, especially when you're talking
about being in homes of miners. Failure to do sal
can result in criminal charges if the weapon is accessed
and used in an act of violence. Legal efsports say, hey,
this is part of a broader trend aimed at curbing
preventable tragedies to ensure.

Speaker 15 (01:00:38):
That the adults in their home that have those firearms
secure them.

Speaker 4 (01:00:42):
They're afraid.

Speaker 15 (01:00:42):
They're afraid of the jail, of the penalties, they're afraid
of the criminal charges. They're afraid of the process. You
look around, the prosecutors are becoming increasingly aggressive against the
adults who have not secured the firearms or in some
cases actually given the firearms to those miners.

Speaker 2 (01:01:00):
Which was the big deal. With the last shooting in Georgia,
that was a big deal because Pops knew he was unstable.
Pops knew because the cops had come out and talked
to him, and then for Christmas, Pop's got him a gun,
so they knew what was going on. Was it last
year where that lady it was, I think she was

(01:01:21):
in Florida the teacher got shot and everybody knew the
kid was going to do something. The parents had told
the school fifty times he's going to do something. The
mom's like, look, you guys don't understand, this is what
he is, and they're like no, no, no, no again.
Accountability across the board if there were and they knew, apparently,
you know, because a bunch of kids apparently attend have

(01:01:43):
snapchat that there was a threat to the school because
this kid in Florida that the dad turned in had
threatened on Snapchat and the rumor had now become fact
and the police were aware of such a thing. So
so that had happened. But you know, if the school
knows this kid's danger, that kids should never be in school,

(01:02:03):
right like it's the shooting in Georgia, that kids should
never have been in school. He shouldn't have been. People
knew he was a danger, people knew he was a mess.
Now it doesn't mean that if you pull him out
and you do everything you possibly can, because let's be real,
you can give anybody minor adult all the help in
the world and it may not save them or fix

(01:02:24):
their issue, and their goal is to do damage to
themselves or to other people, or to both. And the
same should go for school. Just as much as parents
need to be accountable, schools also need to be accountable
when they go, Look, we've got a kid here that
is having some severe issues. Not only is the disruption

(01:02:46):
in the class or she a disruption, I want to
make sure that we had all of the genders they
them a disruption in the class. But on top of that,
they could be a danger. And if I'm a parent,
which I am, and I find out that school and
other people knew that there was a potential danger at
the school and they did nothing about it, I'd be

(01:03:07):
absolutely pissed. So I think accountability across the board's a
good thing.

Speaker 27 (01:03:11):
So critics of the arrests and charged when it comes
to parents will agree. They'll say, yes, you know what,
parents do bear some responsibility. But when it comes to
the root causes of gun violence in America, at least
when it comes to minors, when it comes to inside schools,
they say it goes a step further. They say there
needs to be, you know, federal legislation that really addresses
the safe storage laws or problems if you will, in

(01:03:34):
the country. But more than twenty we're still in September market.
It's just outrageous.

Speaker 2 (01:03:38):
And remember how they do school shootings. Isn't like we
always think they're mas shoot is mass shooting. Many times,
it's a handgun everybody wants to get rid of. It's
a rifle. It's a long rifle, so it's fifty foot rifles.
It's the biggest rifle you've ever seen, and they want
to get rid of of of these things. And it's
the look, you know. But when they talk about school shootings,

(01:03:59):
many times it's not even on the campus. It's down
the street. It could be a beef between two gangs,
and they count that as a school shooting, which they
shouldn't have. But it's part of it is the numbers, right,
it's the numbers. It's the look, it's the look. We
have too much gun violence in this country. We do,
and we have to ask why do we have so
much gun violence? Why do we have so much violence

(01:04:22):
when it comes to young people who are unstable. I
think that's a very important question that we need to
be talking, asking and talking about. And same thing goes
for you know, these young men out there who in
many cases have no fathers, have turned to gangs and
every dispute is settled with a gun, and accesses to

(01:04:44):
guns is too easy. But when we talk about, well,
we got to make it harder, you're never making it
harder for the criminal. You're only making it harder for
the law abiding citizen. And that's the problem with having
a conversation about this. It's tough to do because everybody
wants to just go one direction over here, oh my God,
or another direction of you can't and you're never and it.

(01:05:05):
It doesn't matter what it is, whether it's abortion or guns,
it doesn't matter. You're never gonna make everybody happy. We
always want some sort of magic pill, some sort of
magic elixir that will make everybody happy on something. It
isn't going to happen. Sometimes you're going to disappoint people.

(01:05:27):
Sometimes you are and sometimes you're going to get a
majority of people to go Yeah, that seems like a
common sense idea that would work, but some people are
still going to be pissed. You're not going to make
everybody happy. Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four
to twenty three at Chadbentson Show, is your Twitter tweet

Chad Benson Joe serving up talk radio medium, rare and
dripping with irony.

Speaker 11 (01:07:33):
It's Chad Benson.

Speaker 35 (01:07:34):
Police in Spain have arrested five people accused of scamming
two women out of hundreds of thousands of dollars by
pretending to be.

Speaker 4 (01:07:42):
Brad Pitt online.

Speaker 35 (01:07:44):
One woman lost nearly two hundred thousand dollars, while another
lost one hundred and sixty seven thousand. Police recovered nearly
one hundred thousand dollars a last they Both victims were
contacted through a Brad pit fan site by people who
claimed the Hollywood star wanted to invest in various projects
with them.

Speaker 2 (01:08:01):
Wow. I don't know whether to go that's awful or
to go how'd you guys do that? How'd you find
somebody that stupid Chad? That's not very nice? Well it
gets better, kids, because there you are three hundred and
fifty pounds streaming of the day that Brad Pitt comes
walking through the door to try to carry you somewhere

(01:08:22):
before you break his back, and lo and behold, the
contacts you on what App.

Speaker 35 (01:08:28):
They also got the women to believe Pitt himself was
chatting with them on WhatsApp, promising them a romantic relationship
and future together. Women made bank transfers to the person
they thought was Pitt until they realized they'd been scammed
and went to police.

Speaker 2 (01:08:45):
If I was the cops, I'd be like, look, guys,
I'm not going to arrest you because it's kind of funny.
Give them back some of their money, not all of it.
They need to learn a lesson. Not very nice. Yeah,
if Brad Pitt contacted you, right so, you're some house
frow somewhere and it's like, I think you're really awesome,

(01:09:08):
and you're like, I'm totally up for Brad. I love you.
Can we talk on the phone. I can't do it
right now. I'm making a movie with movie people and
you went along with it. You're like, I think he
likes me. I can't tell my friends. They'll try to
steal him because you wouldn't tell your friends, right because

(01:09:31):
deep in your heart you know there's no way Brad
Pitt likes me. There's no way. Oh geez. All right,
So this is a new thing we're gonna do here,
and this is called It's not about the video, which
I'll play the sound of. It's about the comments. This
person's obsessed still with COVID.

Speaker 36 (01:09:52):
This is how I travel as a COVID conscious person. First,
I use Kalvixel nasal spray before going to the airport,
and I ask in the uber, of course, and I
always ask in the airport. When I get on the plane,
I wipe down as much as I can with Chlorox wipes,
and I use my pure in which meant air purifier
for the plane. I wait a little bit to eat
after everyone else gets their snacks, and I plan to
do as much of my activities outside as possible. When

(01:10:13):
I get home, I wear a mask and test a.

Speaker 2 (01:10:15):
Few days in a row.

Speaker 4 (01:10:16):
And that is that.

Speaker 2 (01:10:18):
Okay. So if you go to the comments, and a
lot of things way funnier than the video itself. This
video is actually kind of sad. So what did the
comments say? Well, let's start with this one. I find
comfort in knowing that she's probably never going to pass
on her jeans. Another person says, anything to not lose

(01:10:41):
one hundred pounds. We know who she's voting for. One
person says all of that, but won't avoid sugar or
maintain a healthy diet, the basics of a strong immune system.
People said single with cats Ah, guess the college degree?

(01:11:10):
Is she single? I bet is she single?

Speaker 4 (01:11:13):
Now?

Speaker 2 (01:11:18):
Oh my god, you have to know right like you
are you that well? I don't know. Maybe she got
a Brad Pitt email. You can't be that delusional that
you're going to post something like that and not expect
to get blasted. Because I've gone throre's like four thousand
comments and not one of them is like you're doing
a great job. They're all, what the hell's wrong with you?

(01:11:40):
Even people that you know are democrats are like, you
know what you need? You need to live a little.
I mean, she goes through the whole thing, Like she
gets in, she like wipes down the entire plane. She
like buys four seats and nobody gets near. It's like,
what are you terrified of? Well, it's COVID chat, I
get it, all right, it's the flu. Now, that's what
it is. It's the flu. But imagine living that way

(01:12:03):
all the time. Oh my goodness. Three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson Show.
Is your Twitter tweet at his text the program right
here on The Chad Benson Show coming up a lot
of stuff to get to. We got a little what's
trending coming up next hour. Several of you have chimed

(01:12:23):
in about the NIL thing we talked about that last hour.
Nil is name and likeness. It's college sports. If you
guys haven't heard, a quarterback from UNLV has decided he's
not going to play for them anymore because promises were
made and they weren't kept. More on the Harris Interview
yesterday with Stephanie Ruhle, did you work at McDonald's. What

(01:12:44):
what's it like? The frio? We'll talk about that and
a bunch of other stuff as well. Reach out to
us across all of our social media at Chad Benson
Show to Twitter, your Instagram, and we get the Facebook
as well at Chad Benson Show. There and it is
the Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 1 (01:13:02):
This is the Chad Benson Show, Independent Thoughts, Independent life,

(01:13:32):
This is Chad Benson.

Speaker 2 (01:13:33):
Kamala last night sat down with Stephanie Rule. Answered some questions,
except for the part where she answered questions, she went
around and around and a lot of things she said
stuff that just seemed ridiculous. You know, the word holistic
was used way too much. But you know, was it
a softball Yeah, it's pretty softballish. One of the things though,

(01:13:55):
that was interesting is Stephanie Rule of course didn't push
back there too much, but words with her friends over
at MSNBC, she did.

Speaker 3 (01:14:03):
She doesn't answer the question around if the GOP is
controlling the Senate, if she can't raise corporate taxes, where
is she going to get the money from, you know,
to expand the child's HASX credit and do all the.

Speaker 4 (01:14:13):
Things she wants to do.

Speaker 3 (01:14:14):
And she says, we just have to do it, and
that's great and that's a campaign promise, but the issue
is it means we're just going to borrow again.

Speaker 4 (01:14:23):
Then what we're doing is we're.

Speaker 3 (01:14:25):
Just never addressing the deficit.

Speaker 4 (01:14:27):
And back in the days when you were.

Speaker 3 (01:14:29):
A proud Republican, debts and deficits mattered, they did.

Speaker 2 (01:14:33):
They do owt anymore and that includes the Republicans. By
the way, because I've seen Trump's plan and is it
going to raise the deficit. Both of them would raise
the deficit, and that's just it. Now. Could you argue
that hers would raise it less? It's possible. Could you
argue for Trump that if he did get an accountability

(01:14:56):
agency that looked at successes and money waste, that he
could lower the debt. All of those things are possible.
The reality is, though, in this modern world that we
live in, populism and spending go hand in hand because

(01:15:17):
you're not popular if you're not spending. And they and
this includes Trump, and look the whole thing when they
you know, he raised it more than anybody else. Okay,
COVID take COVID out of it, which nobody wants to
do it. It's like with the jobs, you know, Trump
lost all those jobs. Really it was just everybody came
in one day and they're like, everybody's fired. This place

(01:15:38):
is going to hell, and nothing else is happening. No, No,
that's not true. Both of them, though, would raise the deficit.
And we need to figure out. You know, the Republicans
used to be, hey, we care about the fact that
we're going in debt the service of our debt right
now is freaking massive. I hope you guys understand that.

(01:16:02):
Like we talk about all these exterior threats like Russia
in Iran and you know, and China, our debt is
going to become a threat if we don't do something
about it. And on top of that, you've got Republicans like,
we're never going to do it through sol Security. We
promise you that. Okay, then well then go broke or

(01:16:23):
figure out a way to fix it. It's not about
getting rid of Social Security, but it's coming to an
understanding that we have to change what we're doing. We
have to spend better, we have to have held people accountable.
But no, she didn't answer any of the questions last night.
No she didn't. She roundabout way answered some of them
with long, run on sentences that made very little sense.

(01:16:49):
And again she used the word holistic like three times.
We'll probably play a little bit of that coming up.
It's very interesting speaking of voting and the election. This
is Kathy E. Burnett. She's a former GOP leader and
somebody who is black. I just want to tell you

(01:17:11):
guys that just because they're you even caught off guard,
not thrilled by the way the Democrats treat Black people.

Speaker 4 (01:17:22):
I'm black.

Speaker 37 (01:17:22):
Black people are not special little unicorns. We want what
everyone else want, but we need people who are willing
to come and speak the hard truth. In one of
those hard truths is sixty years, no one has been
more loyal to the Democrat Party than Black people. We
vote ninety five to ninety seven percent Democrat, like no

(01:17:43):
one does that.

Speaker 29 (01:17:45):
Despite many of the values of the Democratic Party going
against seeing the antithesis of who we are, that's the
best way to say, the antithesis of who we are,
especially based on faith, on morals, values on abortion. So
many of the social issues, they are ignored.

Speaker 2 (01:18:02):
They are ignored except if you want to use them right.
So and look in the Black community, abortion's not all
that everybody thinks. Is like they're running around going abortion, abortion,
the women's body. The fight that goes on with abortion,
that's a white woman fight. For the most part, arguably

(01:18:26):
the loudest voices that move the needle are white women.
Doesn't mean that Black women don't care, of course they do.
But go look at how many Black babies are bored
every year social issues. And it's the same thing with
the Latino community. By the way everybody thinks, well, they're

(01:18:47):
all gonna come here and we're gonna make them all citizens.
It's going to be great. Everything's great. They're gonna vote
for us. You forget that. A lot of especially older Latinos, right,
we'll call them, and by older, I mean younger, older
than the thirties, right, younger than one hundred. But you
know that bring they're Catholic. They are not super into woke,

(01:19:13):
and they're not super into abortion. It doesn't fit the
narrative of which they've grown up with. Continue, Miss Cathy.

Speaker 29 (01:19:21):
It's like a habit, and no one will stop stop
voting that way.

Speaker 37 (01:19:25):
Why Michelle Obama went on TV one when Obama was
running his second term, he had not done anything majorly
positive for the black community, and I remember her saying
at the end of that interview, I don't care what
these people have done. You just vote Democrats. Now, this
is Michelle Obama. You just go out here and told that. Lie.

Speaker 2 (01:19:49):
God, that's so true. How many times do we hear that? Though?
Every four years? What do you get? You get politicians
showing up in the bla black community saying I swear
we're going to fix it this time. This time is
going to be different. I swear this is. And then
then you also get them going, you know what, if
you vote the other direction, you're an uncle Tom. If

(01:20:14):
you vote the other direction, you hate your people. If
you vote the other direction, they're going to put you
in chains. But what are you seeing, young men are going?
You know what, I don't think that's true. I think
that's a lie. I think you're bsing us. You know what,
it's expensive, and it's under your watch that is expensive.

(01:20:35):
And maybe my grandma would fall for that, maybe my
mom would fall for that, maybe even my dad. But
you know what, no, And I think that's an issue
right now that the Democrats are having to deal with,
especially among young black men. They're just like now, I
look at Trump and I think I think Guy's gonna
help us with the economy.

Speaker 37 (01:20:52):
Keep those black folks in the field toe in that line.
You shut up, You do as you're told. The Michelle
Obamas who would tell black both shut up.

Speaker 4 (01:21:01):
Sit down, be quiet. You told that lie.

Speaker 37 (01:21:03):
I don't care what you've heard, or what someone has
said or not said, what they've done for you with
you just go vote Democrat.

Speaker 2 (01:21:12):
Right, And a lot of people do that they vote
Democrat down the board, they vote Republican down the board,
and it drives me crazy. I say this all the time.
You know which way lean. But here's the reality is,
don't listen to me, do your own homework. I'm gonna
give you my opinion based on all the facts and
data that's available. But never fall in love with a politician.

(01:21:36):
Fallen like, make them work for your vote. I don't
care who that person is, make them work for your vote.
If you don't make them work for their vote, they're
going to take it for granted, and they're going to
just do what they do. It's like an abusive relationship.
They're going to take it for granted. They're going to
do whatever they want to do, and you're going to
continue to come back to them. And if you do that,
then why would they do anything different?

Speaker 4 (01:22:00):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (01:22:00):
Yeah, why would they? It's the economy stupid. Remember that
number one thing, black, white, gay, straight, trans, Hispanic, purple green, orange,
come from a different country, come from a different planet.
It's the economy stupid.

Speaker 9 (01:22:14):
Now, And I do think there's a reason that In
our own CNN poll today, fifty one percent of Americans
said they judged Trump's term to be a success, and
only thirty seven percent have judged the Biden Harris administration
to be a success.

Speaker 2 (01:22:25):
There is something going on.

Speaker 9 (01:22:27):
Where people are remembering what he did, how he did it,
and they're comparing it to what's happening right now. He's
hit upon an economic vein that is working for him
in this election. He beats Harris on it, and he
is viewed as a better president than Biden.

Speaker 10 (01:22:39):
Hasty say that Trump is better than handled the economy.
Just thirty nine percent say that of Harris. There's a
lot of work for her to do here for.

Speaker 2 (01:22:48):
A lot of work, and it's not work that she's
going to be able to get done. This just is
not in time. And it's the inflation thing. People. We've
talked about the two hats you put on in life.
When it comes to the economy, You've got the this
is my job, this is my company, right, this is

(01:23:09):
my profession, whatever it is. I feel pretty good about it.
I've felt pretty good about it for the last you know,
several years. Things have been good, so I'm not worried
about this. Then you take that hat off, and then
you have your consumer hat.

Speaker 4 (01:23:28):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (01:23:30):
I can't afford this. But I used to be able
to Wow, I can only put this much gas in
because I got to make sure I have enough for dinner. Oh.
The consumer hat is different. So it's the two sides
of the economy. The consumer side is the one that
people are voting with, and right now they feel like,
you know what, I remember back when Trump was president,

(01:23:54):
pre COVID, things are pretty damn good.

Speaker 9 (01:23:56):
The issue you're conveniently leaving out of this conversation is
they've been crushed by inflation for the last three and
a half years. I don't think it's as simple as
what you laid out Keith about race. I think they're
looking at their overall situation and saying, you know, four
years ago, eight years ago, whatever, I felt like I
was at least had a fighting chance, and today, after
being crushed, I'm in a whole seat. But I do

(01:24:18):
think they're looking for someone to blame or to at
least say, why did these policies get inacted up on me?

Speaker 2 (01:24:23):
I'm the one who's feeling it rest and that's it.
So when you're at work and you feel like, you know,
it works pretty damn good. Life's pretty good. We've got
orders coming in things are going well. It's a little
bit more expensive and I've had to pass that on
to to some of my customers and I've eaten some
of it. But whatever, But I feel okay. But when
you go and you're like, man, over the last year,
I've gotten twelve percent raise in the last three years,

(01:24:45):
but if stuff's gone up twenty percent, you've taken that
eight percent pay cut, and that consumer side is what
you feel three two, three, five, three, eight, twenty four
to twenty three at Chad Benson Show, is your Twitter? Tweet?
At is text the program. I love hearing from all
of you. Rough Greens areuff greens dot com, slash chat.
What is rough Greens? Well, there's two things. First of all,

(01:25:06):
it's this powder supplement. But the two things are we've
got Meogreens now and rough Greens, one obviously for your dog,
the other for your cat. And they work for your
dog like my dogs. I wanted to start them off right.
I want them to be healthy. Rough Greens. The powder
supplement you put on top of their food. They love it,
and boy are they healthy. They're happy, they have no allergies,

(01:25:28):
they're bouncy, they've got great energy and they never go
to the vet because they're healthy. Thank you rough Greens
for Mealgreens. We had a cat that had theorious shoes.
Angus is his name. Angus had bad, bad skin allergies,
like super bad, to the point where you had to
wear the cone of shame all the time since he
started taking me Outgreens about a month ago. Guess what,

(01:25:51):
no more cone of shame. Off it comes the furs
growing back. He's happy. I love it. All you have
to do is sprinkle this on top of your dog
or cat's food and watch what happens. I want you
to try it bag for free today. All you have
to do is cover the cost of shipping. It is
that simple. R U f f greens dot com slash

the Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 11 (01:26:28):
You're listening to the Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (01:26:30):
Now it's time to find out what's trending. What's trending?

Speaker 38 (01:26:35):
James Dean, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Russia, Sereno.

Speaker 7 (01:26:55):
What Truth?

Speaker 2 (01:26:59):
Let's find Out? Was on the indewebs on this Thursday,
A lot of good stuff out there, meaty, juicy stuff.
If you will, Oh, we will, Chad, we will. Let's
start first and foremost over in the magical world of Yeahoo.
Hurricane Helene trending, Weather Channel Chicago, Pede Marcellus Williams executed yesterday.

(01:27:24):
Sean Diddy Combs he's not eating. He thinks he's being poisoned.
I don't care at this point in time. Good riddance
to bad rubbish. Caitlin Clark, Eric Adams and a delve
or Delvi. You know the lady that pretended to be
an aristocrat and an heiress. She got kicked off dancing

(01:27:46):
with the Stars. Kicked off. I say, head over to
the magical world of Twitter number one treading thing. Eric
Adams talked about that throughout the day. UNLV. We're going
to get to that in a little bit because I
think it's very fascinating. What's going on there has nothing
to do with the school itself, Okay, it's the crazy stuff.

(01:28:08):
It has all to do with nil. That's the name
and likeness. That's the players getting paid using their name
and likeness to be sponsored things of that nature. What
is happening there, I think is reshaping sports and I'm
surprised it hasn't happened sooner me too, Iran Alex Jones
all trending Wnpa, Sluka. That's UNLV. We'll get to that

(01:28:33):
in a little bit. In Zelensky, Ukraine. All trending in
the magical world of Twitter. And finally over to Google.
Mayor Eric Adams number one trending thing because of the thing.
What is the thing? Well, he's been indicted and you

(01:28:54):
had to see it coming three two, three, five, three eight,
twenty four, twenty three at Chad Benson Show, Twitter, your
Instagram on all of the other things right here on
the Chad Benson Show, Daughter's Day with My Daughters, All
Day Yesterday, Arsenal Versus Bolton, Mandy Moore, UNLV. All these

(01:29:17):
things are trending in the magical world of Google. The
don't thing with Mayor Adams is very interesting because he's
not going anywhere. He is made a vow that he's
not going anywhere. He's going to stay and fight whatever's
coming at him.

Speaker 28 (01:29:32):
My fellow New Yorkers, it is now my belief that
the federal government intends to charge me with crimes. If so,
these charges would be entirely false based on lies. I
always knew that if I stood my ground for all
of you, that I would be a target, and a
target I became. For months, leaks and rumors have been

(01:29:53):
aimed at me in an attempt to undermine my credibility
and paint me as guilty enough. I will fight these
injustices with every ounce of my strength and my spirit.

Speaker 2 (01:30:06):
The whole thing about not resigning anymore is always fascinating
because I think pre Trump, everybody would have stepped away.
I mean, you had Mark Robinson in North Carolina with
that horrific leak slash report that CNN did on Friday
about him and you know the porn sites. But it
wasn't so much about you know, watching porn. It was

(01:30:27):
about the things he said on there that we're insane,
And I just think we're at a point now it's
like fight everything, right, because people have a short attention span,
so at some point in time they're gonna forget this
has happened. We'll see. It's very interesting, though, not going
down without a fight. Welcome to the modern world of politics.
Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four to twenty

(01:30:49):
three at Chad Benson Show, is for Twitter tweet. That
is text the program. It is the Chad Benson.

Speaker 39 (01:30:54):
Shown Chad Benson shoe.

Speaker 1 (01:31:18):
Independent Thoughts, Independent life. This is Chad Benson.

Speaker 2 (01:31:23):
Affordability and immigration absolutely top of the list for just
about everybody outside of single issue voters. Abortion. For a
lot of women out there, apparently that's the only thing
you guys care about is abortion. That's it. You don't

(01:31:44):
care about affordability, you don't care about immigration, that's it,
which I think is kind of not cool that they
put that to you, but you know, it is what
it is. But one thing's for sure, there are issues
here in this country when it comes to and I
hate to upset some of you out there, you're going

(01:32:05):
to freak out about this, when it comes to what
Trump says about certain things like the gangs in Venezuela.
There are issues out there. There are serious issues. They've
emptied their prisons, they've emptied their nut houses, they've emptied
their drug facilities. Go back to the great was it

(01:32:27):
the Great boat drop Castro is basically you guys can
all leave and they emptied everything out and boom, next
thing you know, we got scarface. I don't think that
was real You guys get what I'm saying, but there
is a serious issue. And gee, I wonder where they're going.
Do you think they're going to? Sanctuary cities and states?

Speaker 40 (01:32:46):
A dangerous Venezuelan prison gang making deeper inroads in the US.
The Department of Homeland Security says members of the notorious
Trendy or Ragua gang are increasingly drawn to sanctuary cities.
It's Venezuela's largest criminal organization, already linked to dozens of
high profile crimes in this country. Ammon Blair, who is
a border agent, you yourself, have stated that if there

(01:33:08):
is a Venezuelan migrant community in a neighborhood, there's likely
the trend Are Rogua gang.

Speaker 41 (01:33:13):
Why because instead of building their enterprise off of narcotics
like a lot of other gangs, they've built their entire
enterprise off the backs of over eight million Venezuelans fleing Venezuela.

Speaker 2 (01:33:24):
That's right. So when you hear them talk about let's
say Aurora or some of these other places, are like,
that's not happening. They're not doing it to the average
person in the apartment, right, John Jones, Mary Jones, Jesus Jones,
those are you out there gets the Jesus Jones reference.

(01:33:45):
They're not doing it to them, No no, no, no,
no no. You know they talk about migrant crime. You know,
migrant crime is so much less than regular white people
crime in America. Now, what happens is they take advantage
of their own because they know their own isn't going
to call the police, that their own is stuck in

(01:34:08):
an area where they can't go anywhere, and they're terrified
to do anything, so they take advantage of those people.
Why would they not do that, They absolutely would do that,
And the reason is simple. They know they've got a
captured audience and customer base.

Speaker 41 (01:34:25):
Their end game really is to govern and control that area.
So they're going to seize his apartments, they're going to
see abandoned buildings, take over the migrant care centers. Their
whole goal is to infiltrate themselves within the criminal underworld
in that local area. Either work for the major criminal
enterprise there, whether that's the Mexican cartels, or work with them,

(01:34:45):
or actually take it over completely. And that's really just
to govern and control their own people.

Speaker 2 (01:34:50):
Big time, big time control, control, control so much easier.
It's the mob, it's the old school mob, right, they're
going up and down the streets, just taking advantage of
all the people, the little mom and pop shops who
know they can't say no or else. That's what they do,

(01:35:14):
and they know they're not going to get any pushback
because the neighborhood is essentially little Venezuela, little Caracas. And
that the fear is if I call somebody, they're going
to come, and then we're going to be seen as
a problem and we'll get deported back to Venezuela, or
they'll make us leave, whatever they think. And they've got
it drilled in their heads. And that's so effing sad.

(01:35:38):
And while everybody goes, you know, it's really important that
everybody gets to come here and experience America. Blah blah blah.
The reality of it is, we bring them here, right
because that's what's happening. Then we put them in areas
and then they're essentially abandoned and we allow these other

(01:36:00):
things to happen. They're knowing full well they're happening, but
we do nothing about it. And then out of this
you get this, you know, nightmare on a ring camera.
We've got guys in Aurora, Colorado, walking around with guns
and everybody like that was not It was totally real.
They've arrested several people. And by the way, this Department
of Homeland Security not under Trump, under Biden saying oh yeah, yeah,

(01:36:23):
these guys are these guys are bad news. They're bad ombrace.

Speaker 40 (01:36:26):
I spoke with a former gang member, his name's Tyrone Mohammad,
who had a grave warning for cities dealing with trendere Rodwitze.

Speaker 42 (01:36:33):
Once these members learned the city and they used the
resources of our tax dollars in revenue to buy cars
and to buy guns, and to set up drug operations
and prostitution rings in downtown Chicago, We're about to start
seeing the beginning of hell in Chicago.

Speaker 2 (01:36:52):
And Chicago's already held and here's something else. And the
gangs aren't gonna take it lying down. But it doesn't
mean they're gonna win, especially if they aligned themselves with
the Mexican mafia and the cartels. Do you remember as
a kid growing up, I mean I grew up in
you know, the member of the movie Colors. I mean

(01:37:13):
I grew up in that era. I grew up with
bloods and crips. The schools that I went to were
separated based on the set, the gang set that you
were with. I was with no set, but that would
run together, right, So east Side and west Side wouldn't
run together. So we had east Side Longos, we had
east Side Lautians, we had Sons of Samoa, we had

(01:37:36):
certain crips. We had no blots, we had no bluds.
Gangs were huge, right the inner city, the gangs about
fifteen years ago. Have you noticed that there's not the
gang violence that we used to see in a lot
of the big cities. Oh, there's still some, but you

(01:37:57):
know what happened. The cartels and the mafia moved in.
They changed the game. They're far more brutal, far more evil,
and they made it a business and said, look, you're
going to do this or else, right the silver or
the lead this gang here. They're not a pushover. They're
not easy. I think a lot of people think, well,

(01:38:18):
you know, the Latin Kings or one of these other
they're just going to take them on and just you
know the crypts. Now, it's a different world. These guys
are gang stars in their country. They're badasses and they
got nothing to lose.

Speaker 41 (01:38:34):
Unfortunately, what he's seeing in what the communities in Chicago
are seeing is that the federal government and also sometimes
the local government are prioritizing foreign nationals in their community,
protecting them from the legalities of their criminal activities, and
also supporting them financially. So they're seeing not only they're
seeing the criminal enterprise come into their city, but they're
also seeing the federal government actually protecting them. And so

(01:38:57):
that's going to create a massive division.

Speaker 2 (01:39:00):
And it is and there's going to be a massive division,
and you know, we're seeing it in the inner cities
across the country, the sanctuary of cities where essentially these
these people that have come here are getting all kinds
of goodies, if you will, and the people that are
here are going, well, why aren't we getting that. We're
told there is no money for that there. We're told

(01:39:21):
that we can't do that. We're told that this, you know,
there's no way you can do this. We're told that
this is the city park, but now you've turned it into,
you know, a place for immigrancy. We're told this is
the rec center and it's people are frustrated. So you
start adding all of this up. This is one of
the things that's going to be a real issue for

(01:39:41):
the Democrats and Harris moving forward, because the one thing
consider we can talk to the economy, everybody can talk
about we can make excuses up, and we can do
all of the things about well what about this and
what about that? And Trump is evil and ball there's
nowhere for her to go on this there isn't and
saying that well we had that bipart of than bill
in place, you had it three plus years in place

(01:40:04):
after you would allowed this mess to happen. That's not
the same, right, you didn't start that on day one.
So we'll see definitely immigration, economy, and yes abortion for
those of you out there who are like, ah, if
we could only get more abortions. Three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four, twenty three at Chad Benton Show.
Is your Twitter tweet at us text the program. I

We should look that up. If there is a MySpace,

(01:41:52):
we're gonna try to bring it back. You're mis seeing
the show grab the podcast Chad Benson.

Speaker 43 (01:41:57):
Show Irreverence, Like, yeah, so what it's the Chat Benson Show.

Speaker 44 (01:42:14):
Fifty Cents documentary on Sean Ditty Combs is reportedly found
a home. Variety says the series will stream on Netflix.
Alexandria Stapleton will direct, and she in fifty cent Teil.
Variety the story is a complex narrative spanning decades, not
just the headlines you've seen so far, and they urge
people to remember that Combs's story is not the full
story of hip hop and its culture. Combs is awaiting
trial and sex trafficking and other charges. He's pleaded, not guilty,

(01:42:34):
no word one. We'll see the doc series on Netflix.
By the way, he is the biggest troll of P. P.

Speaker 2 (01:42:40):
Diddy in the world. He's awesome. He can't stand Diddy.
So I'm sure this is gonna be sweet. If you
go back now and you listen to songs where like
Justin Bieber's talking about and then he made me set
a piece of paper. If I wanted the Ferrari, then
I couldn't talk about the stuff that we did. You're like, what,

(01:43:04):
this isn't going well for Diddy, nor should it. That's
all I'm saying. He's gonna get p diddled in prison.
I have a feeling about that. Yesterday, hard hitting interview
Stephanie Rule Kamala Harris, Vice President, Madam Vice President to you,
she used the word holistic a whole bunch of times.

Speaker 6 (01:43:24):
And assistance to state local governments around transit dollars and
looking holistically the connection between that and housing, and looking
holistically at the incentives we in the federal government can
create for local and state governments to actually engage in
planning in a holistic manner that includes prioritizing affordable housing.

Speaker 2 (01:43:47):
So I'll take that as a no. When it comes
to what you're going to do with Palestine, she is
so ridiculous. She can't think she nailed it, But I
think she thinks I nailed it. I did it like
at what I did it was spectacular and nailed it holistically.

(01:44:13):
When it comes to trains running on time, we're going
to get into a holistic frame of mind, get onto
it and just do it with the holistic sense of
affordable housing. You're like, what, she's so spectacular she is.

(01:44:33):
She reminds me of when you watch those Linking commercials
with Matthew McConaughey and he's just saying weird crap off
the top of his head. That's what it's like. The
difference is Matthew McConaughey isn't running to be the leader
of the free world. That's the difference there. Oh, by
the way, there's a hurricane of coming. We've never taken

(01:44:56):
that direct hit. It was supposed to be moving fast,
so I'm worried about the winds more.

Speaker 30 (01:45:00):
In the water.

Speaker 4 (01:45:01):
We got three big trees over the house hundred years old, and.

Speaker 2 (01:45:05):
I'm not sure that trees have never seen a storm
like this.

Speaker 27 (01:45:07):
I hope when we come.

Speaker 32 (01:45:08):
Back my house is still the same as it as
it was as we left it.

Speaker 2 (01:45:14):
But not really.

Speaker 4 (01:45:15):
Nervous, just being conscious of what's going on around us.

Speaker 30 (01:45:19):
I am more or less focused on really deciding on
what is important for the rest, you know, to have
for the rest of my life.

Speaker 2 (01:45:28):
I mean, really, that's that's what I'm focused on. We're
gonna hunkle now.

Speaker 31 (01:45:32):
I told the family, if you need to come in,
we all hunkle down together and we make the best
of it.

Speaker 2 (01:45:39):
Fuck you like a hurricane, she is a coming big storm.
How strong will it be? But as we've always talked
about when it comes to things like hurricanes, a lot
of it is the aftermath and the rain that causes
the big issues.

Speaker 5 (01:45:59):
We're expecting the hurricane conditions to extend well outside the
center of the storm. Also, with the rain, up to
twelve to eighteen inches of rain, possible life threatening to
catastrophic flash flooding not out of the question, from North
Florida right up into Georgia. Even in the Western Carolina's Asheville,
North Carolina could see historic flooding from what's left of Helene.

Speaker 2 (01:46:21):
Oh Carolina. And a lot of times what happens is
these storms will move quick, the winds will die down,
and then there's a deluge of water and they're expecting
up to a foot of rain in some of these
areas not ready for that. They're just not which brings
us too stupid info you need to know, and then.

Speaker 30 (01:46:42):
I go and spoil it all.

Speaker 5 (01:46:44):
I say something stupid.

Speaker 2 (01:46:46):
We'll take stupid pills this morning.

Speaker 25 (01:46:48):
It's the honest ones you want to watch out for
because you can never predict are.

Speaker 2 (01:46:52):
They're going to do something incredibly stupids, No, you're the fat,
stupid one with the big mouth.

Speaker 11 (01:46:59):
Is stupid that I'll ast time.

Speaker 2 (01:47:02):
You should never underestimize the predictability of stupiditing.

Speaker 7 (01:47:06):
Now it's time fall.

Speaker 2 (01:47:10):
Stupid information. There's gonna be strong winds, there's no doubt
about that. It's gonna be a lot of rain, There's
no doubt about that. But this hurricane, which is what
we call it, by the way, quick, two things you
get today. Geography, right, So understand geography, So the geographic
locations matter when it comes to a hurricane and a typhoon,

(01:47:32):
they're essentially the same thing. But typhoons, right, they're used
when storms form in the Northwest specific ocean, when it
comes from the Atlantic and the Northeast specific oceans. We
call it a hurricane. But the strongest hurricane on record,
you guys ready for this, probably Hurricane Patricia. Now there

(01:47:56):
might have been stuff way back in the day. Highest
winds were two hundred and fifteen miles an hour. Soak
that up for a second. Two hundred and fifteen miles
an hour. It was ferocious as it slammed into Mexico.
It was ugly and powerful. And what happened was it

(01:48:17):
picked up steam as it hit the land, and it
got worse and worse. It was what they call a
sprawling disturbance. Yeah, I think it was. Now you know
something you didn't right here on The Chad Benson Show
three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four, twenty three.

(01:48:58):
solid fun show to day. Got through this short week
people asking, hey, why does it sound like you're echoe there?
Partially because we're traveling and we're in Nashville and we'll
get ourselves set up with the studio here, so tomorrow
it's not gonna be so echoe. But I appreciate you
guys caring about the fact that we sound a little echoe.
But again, we've been on the road passing through this

(01:49:21):
great country and can I just say, it's amazing how
beautiful our country is. Many people never see it, and
you should. You should absolutely see. It's gorgeous. Some of
the places she's like, eh, but they are. They are
three two, three, five, eight, twenty four to twenty three
