Speaker 1 (00:11):
The Chad Benson Show last night at Madison Square Garden,
twenty five thousand Nazis gathered. That's right, they all gathered,
twenty five thousand nuts, many many Nazis outside. In fact,
half this country right here, the imark of America. According
(00:31):
to the media, a lot of you watched it last night.
It was a lot of people watching it last night,
so many people. Oh my god, sanity and all the
players were there. There was Garibeles, Garring, Himmler. Oh, they
were all there. Guys, they were Crommel. No, yes, yes,
they were all there, all of them were there, No way.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
Yes.
Speaker 1 (00:54):
And of course Adolph Trumpler was there delivering in his
evil speech, all the evil that is, talking about taking
over poland heading to the Sedate and land first before
he marches across Europe, opening up several fronts. Yes, indeed,
(01:18):
it was all happening as in Mathison Squared Garden.
Speaker 3 (01:21):
So in conclusion, with your vote this November, we are
going to fire Kamalah and we are going to save America.
We will cut your taxes and inflation, slash your prices,
raise your wages, and bring thousands and thousands of factories
back to America. I will end the war in Ukraine,
(01:43):
which would have never happened if I were president. I
will stop the chaos in the Middle East, and I.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
Will prevent World War III from happening.
Speaker 3 (01:52):
We will crush violent crime and give our police the support, protection, resources,
and respect that they.
Speaker 4 (02:00):
So dearly deserve.
Speaker 1 (02:02):
God, that sounds just awful. It was so hardful said
if he didn't even do anything. So the Jews on
the stage, Chad, you're just being sarcastic now, I am,
because it's all hilarious to watch and listen. The panic,
panic was everywhere.
Speaker 5 (02:18):
Donald Trump has always wanted to quote unquote play Madison
Square Gardens. That's what he's doing right now. But he's
doing it as somebody who is continuing to stoke.
Speaker 6 (02:29):
The fears, play on the anger, and just flat out
lie over and over and over again in order to
whip up people who he needs to vote, but also
people who just feel obviously that they are entertained by
this kind of rhetoric and mean, let's just be blunt
about it.
Speaker 1 (02:49):
Let's be blunt about a data bash. Actually, you know what,
Dana said it a million times, and I'll say it
a million and one. These are people are pissed off
who forever have been the nail to DC's hammer, and
Trump is now saying I'll be the hammer and they
can be the nail. That is not true, Chad say
(03:13):
doing different things as there to talk about taking over
Portland after they go into the city land and have
cost me annex Austria cost me do that's what.
Speaker 4 (03:27):
We first do.
Speaker 1 (03:29):
Oh Dana, I just.
Speaker 5 (03:31):
Want to give one example of something that felt fla
Now this is not something that he said, but this
is part of the opening act. There was a comedian
who completely denigrated all Puerto Ricans and the island of
Puerto Rico.
Speaker 7 (03:44):
I don't know if you guys know this, but there's
literally a floating island of garbage in the middle of
the ocean right now.
Speaker 1 (03:50):
Yeah, I think it's called Puerto Rico.
Speaker 5 (03:52):
I mean, you are seeing cleanup by Republicans, or at
least attempt at clean up by Republicans who are relying
on being portions of Puerto Rican voters. I don't see
any evidence that the joke didn't land. I think that
there was that there was a lot of laughter.
Speaker 1 (04:08):
Sadly, Oh God, let me tell you some about it.
If you don't know who Tony Hinchcliffe is. He is
a comedian. Tony is very dark, right the backlash. He
has a Kill Tony podcast, which is a live show
brings up you know, professional and amateur comedians. They do
(04:31):
all kinds of crazy stuff. But Tony is really famous
for doing roast, the Comedy Central roast. He writes a
lot of that stuff. And yes, he is self deprecating.
He takes on anything. He says crazy stuff and people
are like, oh my god, it's the worst thing it's
ever been. What did he say again?
Speaker 7 (04:51):
Wild times? It really really there's a lot going on,
Like I don't know if you guys know this, but
there's literally a floating island of guard in the middle
of the ocean right now. Yeah, I think it's called
Puerto Rico.
Speaker 1 (05:05):
Oh my god. He's just evil. This is what Tony does.
I mean, should you read the room? Well, how about this?
Should you brought Tony on? Knowing what he does? And
by the way, if you go watch any of the
roasts that have come out, you know this isn't Don
Rickles and Dean Martin kind of ross. Go watch this
stuff from the last several years. He writes a lot
(05:25):
of that stuff. It is brutal. So he roasted Puerto Rico.
I saw a bunch of Puerto Ricans and they're like,
get over it, just get over it. It's tax haven now,
I just it's but that's like, let me give you
an example of what the Nazis are doing at Madison
Square Garden. Meanwhile, I think they were on was it Twitch?
(05:48):
They were on AOC and Tim Walls. Oh yeah.
Speaker 8 (05:52):
So when we say Donald Trump is a fascist, fascism,
a huge component of fascism is uniting racism, bigotry, a
form of racist nationalism, with industry, and also uniting the
(06:12):
keys of government with billionaires and for profit actors in
order to stamp out democracy.
Speaker 1 (06:20):
You know what happens when they use the word that's
that word fascism.
Speaker 9 (06:24):
Oh yeah, Aica do do Timul's Donald Trump has descended
into madness over the last few weeks, and I think
some of you don't miss on this.
Speaker 10 (06:45):
Go do your google on this. Donald Trump's got this
big rally going at Madison Square Garden. There's a direct
parallel to a big rally that happened in the mid
nineteen thirties at Madison Square Garden and don't think that
he doesn't know for one second exactly what they're doing there.
Speaker 11 (07:00):
Should we Yeah, Daiga.
Speaker 1 (07:16):
Every day he's a Nazi. He's never been anything more
than a Nazi. I just I watched a decent portion
of it last night, and then the football game came on.
I'm like, I'm gonna finish this because I like watching
the football game and I don't need to do this
twenty four to seven because it can get to you sometimes.
(07:37):
And the reality is it's a rally, but it was
a dark message Jet. It was what it was. It
was what it was, which is much of the same.
If you want to know more about Trump, watch him
one on one. Watch him one on one. He was
(07:57):
with Rogan three hours and you watch that, and it's interesting.
Trump plays to a crowd. He was so excited last night.
He got to play Madison Square Garden. He was excited.
He'd been working on some of his best jokes.
Speaker 3 (08:13):
I am under investigation more than the great late Alphonse Capone.
Speaker 1 (08:19):
My father's looking down on me right now.
Speaker 3 (08:21):
He's a tough guy, but he was like, legit, and
I know my mother's in heaven. I'm not one hundred
percent sure of my father. But it's close. But he's
looking down at me right now and he's saying that, hell,
did this happen to my son. He's not a bad person.
I'm a good person. All we want to do is
straightened out our country.
Speaker 1 (08:41):
Oh my lord, Oh eight days, eight days in counting

(10:09):

Speaker 12 (10:22):

Speaker 1 (10:23):
So here he's gotten hit throughout the rest of the
gun and it's hurting or comes down to one last
play and it's gonna be getting longer by the second.
You're all the way back at the thirty yard line.
Now you can step into it. Here comes to hail Mary.
But the game on the line and the balls, come dot,
let's jillmever A, come let's do Brown. Oh my goodness,
(10:49):
this town is going crazy. The bull's hit by Stevenson. Noah.
Speaker 13 (10:55):
Brown's just standing back there all alone, plucks it out
of the air.
Speaker 1 (11:00):
We're the victory. What a game, Jim. There are no words.
There are no words if you didn't see that game yesterday.
So Washington leading most of the game, Bears go down,
score a touchdown, not a lot of time left. They
get the ball to their like forty five, and they're
(11:20):
down by I think two. Boom. They do what they
normally do in this situation, which is they rush a
couple people and then everybody goes back. And there is
another view that somebody took with their cellular device where
you see a Bears player on the field taunting the
(11:41):
Washington football team, commander whatever fans and then oh my lord,
he sees and he runs over and he gets into
the play. But it was in sant Danny's just heaves
the ball and it's like watching a school of fish
head for the ball as they normally do. And somebody
(12:04):
tried to normally you slap it down, you push it forward.
Somebody tried to I don't know what they tried to
do and it went off the figertips and there was
a guy standing in the in ZONEP got the ball.
Thank you very much. They're excited in DC and every
day I still get a text from producer Phil. There's
always next year. I think next year is this year. Kids,
(12:25):
That's what I'm trying to tell you. How if you
guys aware of this while all the stuff is going on,
there are issues into Israel, there are issues in Ukraine,
what about Israel over the weekend.
Speaker 14 (12:36):
This was a very very hard hit meant to deter
Iran in the future from carrying out to retalitory strike.
And yes it was tempered. You know, the Israelis had,
you know, at least thought about whether they would go
against much more sensitive sites, Iran's nuclear program, potentially Iran's
very very valuable oil infrastructure. The US administration had pressed
(12:58):
Israel not to do that, and ultimately that is what
Israel decided.
Speaker 1 (13:02):
No, they didn't do that, which is interesting because Netnyahu is.
Speaker 14 (13:06):
Runny Primate of for Netanya, who pushing back on the
idea that he refrained from hitting Iranian nuclear and or
infrastructure because of US pressure. Iran calling Israel's attack and miscalculation,
saying it will respond.
Speaker 1 (13:19):
Don't do that, don't do it all right? I mean, look,
you got hit. How bad was it? That's a fair question.
But you know what they can do? I mean, you
do you know what they can do?
Speaker 14 (13:30):
Understand that is Redy officials saying they hit air defense systems,
also Iran's production and storage sites for drones and missiles,
and that's significant. We can't say exactly the extent of
the destruction that Israel has caused him, but if they
have gone against those types of very sensitive sites, then
clearly it's a massive blow for the Uranian machine, a
(13:51):
massive blow for their army. And the question is now
is how Iran might respond.
Speaker 1 (13:57):
Cooler commer heads would be the best way to respond.
They want you to do something ridiculous. By the way,
they're egging you on to do something ridiculous. They're hoping
you do something that where you overcalculate your power and
strength and do something so ridiculous that the next response
will be all of the things that America doesn't want
(14:18):
you to do.
Speaker 14 (14:18):
And then some But they were using the line limited damage.
But you know, there's been a slight change in tone.
When we finally heard from Iran's supreme leader Ayotola Ali Femini,
I mean, he said that Israel had miscalculated the impact
of the attack shouldn't be overestimated, but it also shouldn't
be downplagued, and that Israel had hurt Iran, and he
(14:40):
indicated that Iran will respond.
Speaker 1 (14:43):
We'll see what happens. We'll see what happens. Skin a
little bit spicy over there, three two, three, five, three, eight,
twenty four to twenty three at Chadmentton Show, is your
Twitter tweet at as text the program, polls, Poles, Pauls.
Speaker 15 (14:58):
Look at this, She's only a bit two points among
a key block center of the electorate, down nine points
where from Biden was at the end of the twenty
twenty campaign. Of course, this is a national picture. This
is a national picture. What is going on in those
key battleground states Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, the Great Lakes, that
Blue Wall, right, Joe Biden last time around one and
(15:19):
by five points over Donald Trump.
Speaker 4 (15:21):
Look at where we are today.
Speaker 15 (15:22):
This is the type of movement Donald Trump likes to see.
Speaker 4 (15:25):
In the center of the electorate.
Speaker 1 (15:26):
Up by a point.
Speaker 15 (15:27):
Now of course that's well with than any margin of error, right,
But again, it's the movement, it's the trends. That's the
type of movement Donald Trump loves to see, and it's
the type of movement that I think gives democrats.
Speaker 1 (15:38):
Some agitating he loves to see. Freaking out. That was
CNN overdue CNBC pole.
Speaker 16 (15:45):
Looking at this next thing here in the favorability, Harris
has lost all her post convention bounds. She went from
plus three in the September NBC pole to minus ten,
back where she was in our August survey. That's a
sign Trump has been landing blows on her image and
maybe perhaps she's been doing it to herself as well.
Trump maintains his minus thirteen to minus six. He was
(16:06):
minus thirteen in August two, so he's improved his favorability.
Speaker 1 (16:12):
Everywhere you look. It doesn't look good for her. Doesn't
mean that he's going to win, But the reality is,
it feels like the mo eight days away is on
Trump's side. It feels like the momentum is moving in
that direction. It feels like that again we're gonna find
out if there's going to be anything big that happens
(16:33):
this week. I don't think there's anything big out there
that it's going to flip the script, if you will,
that would have probably already happened by now. Now, it's
can you drive home to those maybe one hundred thousand
people that are left that are undecided a message that
will get them to decide. I don't know if you can.
I don't know what that would be. I mean, it's
the economy for a lot of people. Immigration that's a
(16:57):
big deal too, and for Kamala I just the issue
is you're stuck in a situation where you never defined
yourself as anything other than a continuation of this administration
in the last four years, and people are not thrilled
by that, no matter how bad you make Trump out
(17:18):
to be. Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four,
twenty three at Chad Benson Shows, your Twitter.
Speaker 17 (17:22):
It is the Chad Benson, chow Son Chad Benson Show,
(17:58):
The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 1 (18:01):
So Friday, Donald Trump went on with Joe Rogan evil
all the testosterone you've ever dreamed of in one room
and so and it's interesting because Axios is a good
article out today about what's going on in the media,
(18:23):
and we've talked about what's going on in the media
for a long time. The media doesn't like it Joe
Rogan because Joe Rogan's influence as far as his reach,
is massive comparatively so far thirty three million views in counting.
That's just over the weekend of their interview. Okay, that
right there, a dozen or more appearances combined on Fox,
(18:48):
CNN and MSNBC. He couldn't have got anywhere near that.
By the way, the medium range of ages for those
sixty seven seventy Vice president Harris went on Color Daddy
way more byeballs were on that compared to sixty minutes
(19:10):
ABC the view, which also ske you very old. Who Chad,
It's a different world. The media is changing. And then
of course over the weekend starting last week with La
Times not endorsing somebody, cause some people to resign from
(19:31):
the La Times. Then the Wappo did not endorse anybody,
which caused people to lose their mind. The media is
that now it's the media, it's no longer journalist. And
some of that's on us. I mean, I've talked about
it at nauseum that it's about clicks, likes, view shares,
subscriptions more than it is about who, what, when, how, why.
(19:56):
That's that's it entertain us. We're going to different places
to consume the media that we find interesting, talking about
the things that we want to talk about. I mean,
you got to look at the media is as a
I mean, for the most part, look at it as
your playlist. If you want to talk soccer, there's something
(20:16):
for that. If you want to talk Taylor Swift, there's
something for that. If you want to talk just politics
based on the left's perspective, there's something for that. If
you want to talk about aggressive politics, there's something for that.
If you want to talk Republican or GOP or conservative politics,
there's something for that. If you want to be entertained
and talk about everything, there's something for that. The media
(20:36):
has become a different places, no longer journalists and trust
in the media is when it comes to the quote
unquote media and we're talking about the establishment side of
the media. So, like I said, last week, La Times
didn't endorse the candid and the Wallpo didn't do one,
which caused people to lose their mind. Again, older skewing
(21:00):
niche audience to lose their mind and people are like,
I can't believe the first of all, we know who
most of the readers are as far as where their
politics are. We know where all of the politics are
when it comes to the people that work there. But
it frustrated a lot of people. And of course, you know,
one of the things they talk about is, let's talk
(21:21):
about the difference between opinion and news. This is interesting
when we talk about this.
Speaker 18 (21:25):
We first talked about, of course, the big line separating
an opinion section of a newspaper and the news section
of a newspaper, or a commentary program on television versus
a news program. Both can impart information, and both can
impart accurate information. One is trying to persuade, one is
trying to inform, and so thinking about that distinction is
(21:46):
really important, but also highlighting the fact that newspapers, especially
pay the most attention to what is happening in politics.
Most of us don't wake up, sit up in bed,
clap our hands together and say, how am I going
to hold my government accountable?
Speaker 1 (21:59):
Today?
Speaker 18 (22:00):
We depend upon those who pay close attention, and when
they don't tell us what they know and what they think,
it makes it harder for us to make good decisions.
Speaker 1 (22:07):
As a citizenry. I understand that completely. The problem is,
it's only one side you care about anymore, and that's
the way people look at it. Right in the opinion
side of things, they are openly giving you their opinion.
In the news side of it anymore, it's I'm going
to report the news the way that I want it reported,
(22:28):
based on my belief system, without giving my opinion. Essentially
being an activist inside of a news story trying to
cover it up as if you're covering the news fairly
without giving the other side of the story, or things
of that nature. We'll talk about next hour. Of the
sixty minutes piece last night about immigration and deportation that
(22:49):
didn't tell the whole story, told the story that they
wanted to tell. So Walpo didn't go out and endorse anybody,
which pissed everybody off. And obviously those you know that
the person who owns the Wallpo is a guy Jeffrey Bezos,
and one of the editors, Keenan, essentially kind of gave
a nod saying, well, Trump did you a favor with
(23:10):
Blue Origin, so you're doing him a favor by not
endorsing anybody.
Speaker 18 (23:16):
I think that the way Kagan was characterizing. What happened
is a chilling wind for newspapers and other media around
the country to hear that ownership can stifle the free
and independent press. Now, of course, you know it's it's
his paper, and so he could choose to do with
it what he likes. But he's stifling what papers have
(23:38):
always done and their readers generally expect them to do.
Is not a way to build trust with news organizations
in an era of declining media trust.
Speaker 1 (23:46):
And Kagan left he was their editor over there, and
so's it's crazy the way that you know the reaction
has been. And first of all, you're you're resigning from
the editor of the Post. I'd think about that, because
I don't know if you're ware. There's not a lot
of papers out there anymore. We're gonna go do our
(24:08):
own thing. That's just it. If you love Trump, you're
gonna find a place that's gonna support you love of Trump.
If you love Harrison hate Trump, there's plenty of places
to go for that. If you don't care about anything right,
you want to talk about relationships and you know, makeup,
there's plenty of places for that. If it's all about sports,
(24:28):
there's plenty of I mean, there's plenty of places now
for anything that you want, and that's what we're doing.
You don't have to go to one and hope that
there is. It's like listening to the radio back in
the day, right, Like that's why I said, it's kind
of like a it is it is. You're having it
truly your way go back in your day. This is
your playlist. Cause when you used to listen to the
(24:50):
radio back in the day and you wanted to get something,
you had to get ready to hit plane record, wondering
when that song that you want is coming up, because
you've had to listen.
Speaker 5 (25:01):
Day.
Speaker 1 (25:03):
Right, You've had to listen all day, sometimes a couple hours,
and every time that other song ends, you get ready
to hitch plan to record. You do the same thing now, No,
you don't have to. You can go anywhere you want
to get whatever it is that you want, serve the
way you want. And again, affirmation not information.
Speaker 18 (25:21):
Trust in the media has been declining for fifty years,
and it's not on the backs of who newspapers are endorsing.
It's largely due to an increasingly polarized country where people
can retreat to get news from sources that tell them
their side's right and the other side's wrong, dangerous and evil.
And it also is happening because so many sources, especially
on talk radio, people don't trust the news media. Those
(25:44):
are reasons that media trust is diminishing. Not because some
newspapers endorse candidates for office. And when newspapers don't endorse candidates,
they might think, oh, we're building up this idea that
we can be trusted. But of course, all though the
readers already expect that the paper has a prefer and
now it looks like they're hiding their preference, which is
not a way to build trust.
Speaker 1 (26:04):
It's all talk radio's fault. It's funny because there's a
there's a perfect example of the guy teaches at Wisconsin
teaches you know, news and media and journalism, and so
it's all talk radio's fault. Yes, you tell us, I
tell everybody you're gonna trust who you want to trust.
I don't care who you trust. Don't trust me, Go
verify for yourself, don't trust me, Go verify the things
(26:29):
that you're interested in. But blaming talk radio, really, that's it.

With the election just eight days away, people on edge,
the nerves. What will happen? What won't happen? It's time
to take our mind off of that. It's time to
turn our mind to more entertaining things. We counted down
every single year scariest movies of all time, based on
(28:34):
a lot of different things, based on the fear factor
in some of them, based on the cultural impact as
well that they had on society. And today's well, today's
is a doozy.
Speaker 19 (28:52):
The time has come, so prepare yourself for a journey
of fear from the darkest corner of cinema, the most
bone chilling.

Tales ever told. It's the countdown. You've been waiting for.
Speaker 19 (29:08):
The thirteen scariest movies of all time? Which movie will
take the top spot? How about a fish tail so
big because the jaws open wide, or the story of
(29:35):
a young innocent girl battling evil with some help.
Speaker 21 (29:42):
Well, then let's introduce ourselves. I'm Damien Karras and I'm
that devil. Now kindly undo this stretch. Where's Reagan in
here with us?
Speaker 19 (29:53):
Or the fright of a madman with a chainsaw? So
I stop, stop, You'll have to listen to find out.
Speaker 20 (30:09):
Are you ready?
Speaker 19 (30:11):
Now it's time the thirteen Scariest movies of all time?
Speaker 1 (30:17):
Number four? Oh, number four today? What can we say
about number four? So the top four cultural impact massive,
This one changed so many things. And I will tell
you this, This one, like a few of the ones
coming in the top four, based on actual events. What. Yeah,
(30:42):
the story around it is new, but some of the
things that happened was taken from well, something that happened
in Jersey in nineteen sixteen. And oh, if you're going
to go in the water, be careful.
Speaker 22 (30:56):
There is a creature alive today who has survived millions
of years of evolution, without change, without passion, and without logic.
It lives to kill a mindless eating machine. It will
(31:17):
attack and devour.
Speaker 1 (31:20):
Anything.
Speaker 22 (31:23):
It is as if God created the devil and gave
him shaws. I just found out that the girl got
killed here last week, and you knew it.
Speaker 12 (31:38):
You knew there was a shark out there.
Speaker 1 (31:40):
What we are dealing with here is a perfect engine,
an eating machine.
Speaker 4 (31:44):
We're not only going to have.
Speaker 1 (31:45):
To close the beach, We're gonna have to hire somebody
to kill the shark. Vision But I'll catch him.
Speaker 4 (31:50):
I'll kill him.
Speaker 10 (31:51):
You got to need a pick up part.
Speaker 22 (31:55):
Roy Scheider, Robert shaw Rich driv us jaws see him
before you go swimming.
Speaker 1 (32:06):
Oh baby, what a movie. The sound of the movie
was incredible. Some interesting facts about the movie, First and foremost,
Mattowen County nineteen sixteen. There were four deaths and a
fifth person was injured in a span of about twelve days,
all because of a shark. How many sharks do not know?
(32:27):
Was it one rogue shark? Possible? Could it have been
a few? Again? Possible? That's where Peter Benchley took it
and ran with. Of course, the soundtracked John Williams first
played that for Steven Spielberg. Spielberger thought it was a joke.
To this day, though he says fifty percent of the
success of the movie is because of that. The actress
who played Chrissy Watkins, the lady attacked in the beginning
(32:50):
of it, was not an actress. Her name was Susan
Backline who just passed away a few months ago. Yeah,
so he was looking for somebody and producer Richard Zanuk
saw her in a magazine. She was a big time
swimmer and a model, and Spielberg goes, can she act?
He goes, I don't know, but look at her? Oh,
(33:11):
problem after problem. Supposed to be a sixty five day
shoot ended uping one hundred and fifty six days. It
was five million dollars of her budget. That's huge. Casting
was not easy. Some people wanted the roles big time.
Robert Deaval, Gene Hackman, and Charlton Hasten all were interested
in playing Brody, but no, it went to Roy Scheider,
who actually heard conversation of him trying to cast at
(33:31):
a party and walked over and said, what about me?
Quent and Robert Shaw and Dreyfus did not like each
other at all, to the point where they almost went
to blows all the time. By the way, not the
first or last time that Dreyfus had issues with people.
The movies scenes were amazing, but Bruce, the shark, named
after the attorney of Spielberg, made very little appearance in
(33:53):
the actual movie itself, and the reason was simple, it's
a pain in the ass thing broke down all the time.
They use real footage of sharks in certain areas, but
Bruce didn't really make an appearance to about an hour
and twenty minutes into the film, and one of the
most seminal parts of the movie is when Hooper and
Brody Dreyfus and Roy Scheider go out to look for
(34:17):
Ben Gardner's boat it sunk. Dreyfus goes in the water,
finds a giant tooth, starts to pull it out. The
head pops out. That was actually filmed later on. They
didn't like the first one, so they went to the
editor's house who had a pool, poured tons of milk
in there, gave it that kind of murky, gnarly look,
(34:39):
and shot it in the pool. Then Steven Spielberg would
go to the theater and watch it, see the reaction,
smile and get up and leave. Some of the other
fascinating things took place. The final scene in the movie
not a spoiler alert it's been out for like one
hundred million years. Where the Jaws gets blowed up, one's
supposed to happen that way, And when they did finally
(34:59):
sh it was actually the second unit director that shot it,
because Spielberg had bounced home start to edit the movie
and put it together. He wasn't there for the final scenes.
The original way that it was supposed to happen was
the shark was just gonna die, exhausted, beat up, bleeding
to death. It was just going to eventually die. They
(35:22):
decided to go in another more spectacular way. This movie
grossed over one hundred million dollars on his nine million
dollar budget, became the summer blockbuster, and really kind of
set the stage for all of those things. But it
also did something to us in our psyche because as
a child after seeing it, whether I was in a
lake or the ocean which I lived near, or in
(35:44):
a pool, there was always that thought of, oh my god,
what's lurking below? One of the other things interesting things
before we wrap it up here. Twenty twenty one, Spielberg
said he regretted making the movie the way that he
did because of the anger and hate that people had
towards Shark afterwards and felt he partially responsible for that.
That's interesting three two, three, four twenty three at Chad
(36:07):
Benson Show. Is your Twitter coming up in the second hour?
More hate?
Speaker 11 (36:09):
Right?
Speaker 1 (36:10):
MSG? Last night gave you more hate. That's what I hear.
If you're missing you the show, don't do that, or
Shark will get you. It's a Chad Benson cher.
Speaker 12 (36:18):
This is the Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show Show.
Speaker 1 (36:48):
Last night, Donald Trump held a rally Madison Square Garden.
It's a Nazi rally. Burnt crosses, stuff like that. No,
it's not what happened. No, no, no, that Tony Heathcliffs.
Its mean stuff. I know we're getting over that. I mean,
that's all that people are reporting.
Speaker 4 (37:03):
Look what he said.
Speaker 1 (37:04):
Somebody called comml of the Antichrist. She's not the Antichrist, right,
it's an asinine thing to say she's not the Antichrist.
I may not be a fan of her politics. I
don't think she's a bad human being. She's not the Antichrist. Okay,
I just that's insane, welcome to But people are talking
about it. That's really all that matters. Again, if you
want to get heard say something insane and people who
(37:26):
are listening. One of the big things though, was immigration.
What did Trump have to say? I'm sure it was
very racist.
Speaker 3 (37:33):
On day one, I will launch the largest deportation program in.
Speaker 4 (37:37):
American history, and he get the criminals out.
Speaker 1 (37:40):
So he said, get the criminals out. Everybody's like, well,
he's throwing everybody out, because that's what Trump does. Trump
says something that's ridiculous, says something that's over the top,
said something that makes you think, gets people talking, and
maybe it gets people thinking, maybe now's not the time
to go there minutes did a interesting, I think, kind
(38:03):
of disingenuous report last night. Didn't report on all of immigration.
How many people are really here, how many people came
across the border, how many actual gang members have come
across here, how many potential terrorist threats have come across here,
how much damage some of these groups and gangs have
done fental et cetera, et cetera. No, it was just
(38:25):
all about deportation.
Speaker 23 (38:27):
I hear a lot of people say, you know, the
talk of a mass deportation as races, it's a it's
threatening to immigrant community. It's not threatened to in the
immigrant community. It should be threatening to the illegal immigrant community,
but on the heels of his historic illegal immigration crisis,
that has to be done.
Speaker 1 (38:48):
Tom Holman there of course, as you know, he's one
of the leaders of the Nazi Party, so so ridiculous.
So he was a big part of it last night.
And I have said this all long, it's all talk.
He's never going to get rid of everybody. He can't.
He can't afford it. We can't afford it. There's just
no way. First of all, we don't have the manpower
we'll get to that can't afford it. We can't even
(39:10):
if we could replace the people who would be exiting
the building, if you will, as far as their jobs,
we can't afford it.
Speaker 24 (39:18):
A study by the American Immigration Council found that mass
deportation could result in the removal of millions of construction, hospitality,
and agriculture workers, reducing the GDP by one point seven
trillion dollars. Can you just limit it to criminals and
national security threat though?
Speaker 23 (39:36):
If I've been charged to this, my priorities are public
safety threats and n security threats first.
Speaker 25 (39:40):
First, implies others follow though, right, absolutely, So game that
out for me. What's the scenario.
Speaker 23 (39:46):
It's not okay to enter country legal, which is a crime.
That's what drives illegal immigration when there's no consequences. To
Biden Harris ministration has proven this. You can get to
the border journey self sinned, get released from the twenty
five for hours.
Speaker 25 (40:00):
So you are carrying out a targeted enforcement operation. Grandma's
in the house, she's undocumented. She get arrested too.
Speaker 23 (40:08):
It depends which the judges side. We're going to remove
people that judges order deport it.
Speaker 1 (40:13):
Well that's nice, right, like that would be a good
to be a start. But let's let's let's be real here.
Listen the way she comes out, Well, could you just
do that? What does that say? Come on over here?
It's totally fine as long as you're not committing crime.
Come on over here and enjoy your life. That's not
the way it works. It isn't.
Speaker 25 (40:30):
So how would it even be possible, then, for ICE
to arrest a million people in this country if that
mass deportation plan were to take effect, I.
Speaker 13 (40:40):
Could say here in Maryland, we would never be able
to resource or find that find that amount of detention,
which would be our biggest challenge, right, and just the
amount of money that that would cost in order to
detain everybody. Uh, you know, it would be you know
at the Department of Defense level of financing.
Speaker 1 (40:56):
We couldn't afford it. That's what I've been telling everybody.
We couldn't afford it. It's great rhetoric. It's great to say,
right if you're Trump, they sound tough in this, that
and the other. It just sends a message, don't come here.
Don't because if we catch you, we're going to turn
your right around. We're going to put that remain in Mexico.
We're going to turn you right around. That's what it says.
They're not going to deport a million, five hundred thousand.
Hell And by the way, I think when all is
(41:18):
said and done, if Trump does win, I think I
see a lot of people's self deport which is we
better get with it. Getting's good.
Speaker 25 (41:24):
How much manpower would it take to arrest and deport
a million people?
Speaker 26 (41:29):
You're talking one hundred thousand official officers, police officers, detention officers,
support staff, management staff.
Speaker 24 (41:38):
Trump advisor Stephen Miller has said staff could come from
other government agencies like the DEA.
Speaker 26 (41:45):
The idea that you're going to take the FBI or
the Marshall Service or the Bureau of Prisons, or the
Secret Service or FEMA off of their mission sets that
protect and protect our communities will not make us safer.
Speaker 4 (41:59):
By the Office to the Immigration.
Speaker 24 (42:01):
Correct Immigration enforcement requires specialized training and language skills that
most military and law enforcement officers don't have.
Speaker 25 (42:10):
There's this discussion out there that makes it sound like
it's just an easy swap.
Speaker 22 (42:14):
It is not an easy swap.
Speaker 13 (42:15):
So what I can tell you from the Immigration and
Nationality Act, immigration law is second to the US tax
Code of complexity.
Speaker 1 (42:23):
Yeah, it's not happening. I tell you guys this over
and over again. The people freaking out. It's not happening.
It's not just isn't. Now? Could we come up with
a way where we give some people some status here
without the chance of becoming citizens, therefore making sure they
don't vote and they weren't rewarded by coming here illegally,
(42:47):
but then at the same time having an understanding that
you know you're here for a limited time and then
you have to go back and reapply again. Can we
do somebody? There's ways about doing it, and obviously dealing
with DOCA and things in that nature. But the reality
is this right now. And trust me, man, the when
people worry say I worry about this or I worry
(43:08):
about this, what I truly worry about with the Democrats,
and I would worry about the Republicans too, if they
wanted to decide, Okay, we're gonna bring over four million
people and we're gonna give them a pathway to citizenship
and we'll do away with the filibuster so we can
do that so they'll vote for us. That to me
is disgusting, and that's my fear. My fear is You've
(43:31):
got tons of people that have come here, god knows
how many, and if you are the group that happens
to bring them to citizenship, they're going to reward you
with those votes forever in a day. And if it
means killing the filibuster, that is terrifying. And they would
love to kill the filibuster.
Speaker 24 (43:50):
Oh boy, Monica Camacho Perez and her family worry about that.
They have lived and worked in the country since coming
illegally from Mexico more than twenty years ago.
Speaker 4 (44:00):
Oh what scares you the most?
Speaker 27 (44:02):
I think of my nieces and my nephews that they're
going to get separated from their parents.
Speaker 24 (44:12):
They made a life in Baltimore where Monica, who's thirty,
teaches English as a second language.
Speaker 27 (44:18):
We are on our more family like anybody else. When
do we go to church, We work every day. We
pay taxes.
Speaker 1 (44:29):
They do, they pay taxes. They are here in this country,
some of them own homes. I mean, the thing is,
at some point we have to first and foremost stop
the influx. Right I've said this over and over again.
Think of the wall as a ship. We've got leaks.
We need to patch those leaks and stop anything else
(44:52):
from happening before we can deal with what's here and
then go from there. And I think there's a common
sense way of doing it. But understand this right now
for the Democrats is a race to make sure that
you have in the future a voting block that will
be absolutely subservient to you in the future, as far
(45:13):
as giving their vote to you, therefore changing everything in
this country. That's my fear. And sixty minutes disingenuous last
night about the way they handled this. We're going to
talk more about this a little bit later. Three two, three, five, three, eight,
twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson shows your Twitter, tweets,
text the program Last night, all of the best Nazis
(45:36):
were on stage at MSG. That's Madison Square Garden. We'll
talk a bit about that. Roughgreensreufgreens dot com, slash chat, vitamins, minerals, probiotics,
make a three sixty nine, all of this incredible stuff
packed into an amazing supplement that you give your dog
on a daily basis. Your dog will love it. Saw
your cat, Now I've talked about my cat, all right,
I guess it's his name. So we started giving me
(45:57):
out greens because he had this horrific alex. In fact,
it was so bad around his neck and his hair
and his ears. It was he looked like he got
struck by lightning. It was just awful. It was just
it was. It was bald, he was blood. We were
doing everything he had the cone of shame. Couldn't figure
anything out. Then we started giving me greens. What ended
up happening. The itching subsided lo and behold the scratching
(46:20):
that he was doing that was horrific. Stopped started to heal,
hair started growing back off. Came the cone of shame.
Oh my god, he's a better new cat. Still alarms
caat but a great cat. Now, wouldn't you like to
try a jumpstart trial bag? Whether it is for Mealgreens
or rough Greens? Of course you would. How about this?
They're gonna send it you for free. All they ask
can you do cover the cost of shipping? Boom? That's simple.
(46:42):
Go to ruff Greens dot com slash Chad. That's Roughgreens
dot com slash Chad, Roughgreens dot com slash Chad. It
is the Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 12 (47:03):
Chad Benson.
Speaker 28 (47:04):
You'll see next week. Trump actually reenacting the Madison Square
Garden rally in nineteen thirty nine. I write about this
in my book. President Franklin Roosevelt was appalled that neo
Nazis fascists in America were lining up to essentially pledge
(47:26):
their support for the kind of government that they were
seeing in Germany. So I don't think we can ignore it.
Speaker 1 (47:45):
That was last week, it was Hillary yesterday.
Speaker 10 (47:49):
Donald Trump has descended into madness over the last few weeks.
And I think some of you don't miss on this.
Go do your google on this. Donald Trump's got this
big rally going at Madison Square Garden. There's a direct
parallel to a big rally that happened in the mid
nineteen thirties at Madison Square Garden. And don't think that
he doesn't know for one second exactly what they're doing there.
Speaker 1 (48:10):
Oh oh my god. I told you guys, every time
they started bringing up fascists, Nazis, all those kind of things,
you're gonna get the song Attika you are, you know it,
Just deal with it. It's gonna be stuck in your head.
(48:32):
So there was Nazis everywhere last night. That's all I heard.
Not so many shwastikas. They were just it was so many,
and they were celebrating them on stage because they could
see him everywhere. You know, something from maniacs. I don't
see no stinking Nazis in here.
Speaker 3 (48:53):
I don't see no stinking domestic terrorists in here.
Speaker 1 (48:57):
That's the Hulk. He didn't see any of the those things. Well,
the Jews wouldn't show up with this, they'd be terrified.
Speaker 29 (49:03):
I just got back from Donald Trump's rally in Madison
Square Garden. I'm a Jewish New York Republican, and I
have seen the mainstream media calling this a Nazi rally
and not going to be further from the truth. There
were so many Jews there, just like myself. There was
Israeli flags, and nearly every single speaker talked about their
commitment to upholding the relationship between US and Israel, not
to mention all the Latinos for Trump, Gaze for Trump,
(49:24):
and nearly every other group that would have never been
allowed in. If this was actually a Nazi rally. Kamala
Harris could literally bring Adolf Hitler on her stage. In
the mainstream media still wouldn't call it a Nazi rally.
Speaker 1 (49:34):
No, they wouldn't. Let'd say she brings a German immigrant
on stage, He's a Nazi, Chad take it right. There
are people that have survived the Holocaust and they look
around and they say, I know what a Nazi looks like,
and Donald Trump is a Nazi. Case in point, it's
a Holocaust survivor. I think he's ninety four years young
and he recognizes the threat that Donald Trump is.
Speaker 30 (49:57):
My name is Jerry Wartski, four years old and survivor
of our Swititz and the dead marches. Adolf Hitler invaded
Poland when I was nine years old. He murdered my
parents and most of our family. I know more about
Hitler than Kamala ulever, No in a thousand lifetimes for
(50:19):
I had to accuse President Trump of being like Hitler
is the worst thing I ever heard in my seventy
five years years living in the United States. I know
President Trump and he would never say this. And Kamala
Harris knows it is she owns my parents and everybody
(50:43):
else was murdered by Hitler. An apology for repeating this lie.
Speaker 1 (50:47):
Well there you go, then, Michael Rappaport, right, you have
not been a fan of Trump, although you've now started
to come out and say a lot of what you
were spun was a bunch of bs. But you've got
to feel the same way.
Speaker 31 (50:57):
He's a Nazi, Donald Trump, pig, Donald Trump, call him
whatever you want. I've given you gem after jem for years.
Speaker 1 (51:06):
But stop with the Hitler shit. Stop with the Hitler.
Speaker 31 (51:11):
Do not refer to Hitler and the Holocaust, the actual
greatest slaughter and actual genocide of the Jewish people ever
for attention and political gain.
Speaker 1 (51:23):
Stop it.
Speaker 31 (51:24):
That Nazi rally that took place in Madison Square Garden
in nineteen thirty nine was just that, an actual true
blue Nazi rally. So are you saying that anyone and
everyone who shows up and Madison Square Garden for this
upcoming Trump rally is a Nazi.
Speaker 1 (51:41):
That's a Nazi rally. Get the fattire.
Speaker 31 (51:44):
What kind of rallies are happening on the college campuses
in New York City in Union Square where they're waving
Hamas flags and kissing ya ya sinwar photos? What kind
of rallies are that?
Speaker 1 (51:56):
Wow, he doesn't seem very thrilled by that. And I
keep saying it every time you call him a Nazi,
every time you say he's a fascist, every time you
say he's just like Adolf Hitler, or was it two
weeks ago the Atlantic compared him to the worst by
the way, they said the worst parts of Adolf Hitler,
Mussolini and Stalin. Like we're at the point now. It's
(52:18):
like you know what ah Adela, the Hunt and Genghis Khan.
I mean, this is can you this is this is it?
I mean, he is I've I mean I've read their
stuff and I believe Trump and him. I mean, I
they're together, is what I'm thinking. It's like so ridiculous.
(52:38):
And every time you say it, every time you come
out and you say he's just like Adolf Hitler. He's
just like the Nazis. He's just like that. You demean
so many people who went through Hell because you're trying
to make a political point. And by the way, that
political point falls on deaf ears. Seeing as you've done
it for I don't know, almost a century, that has
(53:00):
been your calling card.
Speaker 31 (53:01):
Do not mention the Holocaust Hitler to score political points
when you ignore the.
Speaker 1 (53:08):
Greatest slaughter of Jews since.
Speaker 31 (53:10):
The actual Holocaust, which happened on October seventh. All this
Hitler talk, all this Holocaust with sold little Holocaust studies
in schools. Do not bring up Hitler and Nazis when
there are one hundred and one hostages, one hundred and
one hostages and you say nothing about them. Cut the
(53:31):
Do not use Nazis and Hitler for your genuine when
you haven't mentioned the thirteen women that are still being
held captive today while you're wearing your futurest female T shirt.
It's disgusting, it's disrespectful to the victims and survivors of
the Holocaust and to the real time victory victims and
(53:53):
survivors and the hostages of October seven.
Speaker 1 (53:56):
Stop it, Amen, three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four,
twenty three at Chad Benson Show. Is your Twitter tweet
at US Texas program is in the show, grab the podcast.
It is the Chat Benson.
Speaker 17 (54:06):
Show, then Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show cover.
Speaker 32 (54:36):
And the Japanese have been common nothing except they saw
the world one way fascism. They all have to do
it in their different ways, country in their own way.
So's China, So's Russia, Saudi Arabi. You could say, also,
somehow the world tends to be dividing between the good
guy countries, the democratic countries and these autocracies. And if
(54:57):
your guy gets in, we're going to be on the
wrong side of this.
Speaker 1 (55:00):
Okay, oh my god, fascism again, really fascism again. Here
we go with the fascism. So always fascism, so always
evils ched. Stop making excuses for the fascists. Where are
the fascists? Honestly, no, where are they?
Speaker 4 (55:16):
Where?
Speaker 1 (55:17):
Where? Where? Where are they? Show me all of the
stuff you want. I told you want to be worried
about politics. Unelected, unseen bureaucrats with ties to too many
billionaires and special interest groups are more terrifying than this boogeyman.
(55:39):
It's a boogeyman that is Donald Trump and the fascist
I just it falls on deaf fiars and it's all
if I tied.
Speaker 28 (55:51):
Out against them.
Speaker 33 (55:52):
I think we will go back to the time that
we had when he was president, which is the only
time we didn't start a war and get involved in
a war.
Speaker 1 (56:00):
Putin is Jimmy Carter never fired a shot.
Speaker 33 (56:02):
Putin did not invade Ukraine until Biden took over.
Speaker 4 (56:06):
We had the.
Speaker 33 (56:06):
Disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, which projected weakness through the world.
People understood that we were enfeeble feeling, and that is
what was provocative. Weakness is provocative. I feel like Trump
destabilized these people. They didn't know what you expect of him.
Next thing you know, he's bombing Solomoni. Trump did strategic
strikes that had people on their heels. They didn't know
what he might do to them, and we did not
(56:27):
have invade.
Speaker 1 (56:32):
What he might do to us. It's going to come
after us. Aren't you worried?
Speaker 6 (56:36):
Now?
Speaker 1 (56:36):
I'm not worried, well, because you're on his team now.
It's not to do with that Kama's wins. I'm not worried.
I'm not. Why wouldn't you be because I'm not. It's
all talk. It's kibooki theater, it's pantomime, it's the selling
of something. I don't, for an instance, think that Hey
(56:58):
should should Trump win that tomorrow. The Washington Post, The
LA Times, New York Times, MSBC, we're gonna take it
with They're not going to take away their license. That's
such a bunch of crap. It is such a bunch
of crap. It's all talk. What if they did. They're
not going to. But if they did, I would fight
for them to make sure they got their license and
(57:19):
they kept their license. I wouldn't. I would do everything
I could to raise an army of people that would
come out and speak against it. But it's not gonna happen.
It isn't. It isn't going to happen. Just isn't going
to happen. This fear is crazy. It's like, no, you
(57:39):
don't understand. This is totally gonna happen. All of this
stuff is gonna happen. You can't stop it.
Speaker 20 (57:45):
No, it's not.
Speaker 1 (57:47):
I mean, it's fun, I guess talk about for some people.
But I just I don't buy into the hyperbole and
the lunacy. I just can't. And I know there are
people out there because I've talked to them. They'll send
me a text message every day. You're a fascist, you're this,
y'ar that whatever. I mean. You're living in a world
(58:09):
of emotion. What about all these generals? You don't think
they have their best interest in mine? You don't think
so what about the people that came out and spoke
out and said, yeah, that never really happened. Well, it
doesn't matter because they're liars, right, because only my side
tells the truth. And you must believe in government because
government would never lie to you except all the time. Fascist. Fascist, fascist.
(58:34):
It's all they are is a bunch of fascist. So,
as we've talked about, there's issues with Kamala Harris and Muslims.
They don't trust her, and I think she's a big
part of this problem. And they look at Trump. It's
odd they look at Trump as somebody who's like, yeah,
(58:55):
I'd rather give my vote to him because I think,
you know what, he may not like us, but I
bet you can do everything you can to bring this
thing to an end. So that's a win.
Speaker 34 (59:04):
Good afternoon, Michigan, Andrews. We just had a positive meeting
with President Trump. We as Muslims stand with President Trump
because he promises peace not war. We are supporting Donald
Trump because he promised and war in the Middle East
and Ukraine. The bloodshed has to stop, and I think
(59:28):
this man can make that happen.
Speaker 1 (59:34):
You know, It's funny. During Trump's last reign of terror,
I talked to a lot of Docer recipients and we
had several them on the show locally out there in Arizona.
And one of the things that was very interesting was
(59:56):
so many of them believed that Trump was going to
do everything he can to get them the opportunity to
have a pathway to citizenship because he wanted the wall
and he was willing to give them the opportunity for
that if he got some of his damn wall. And
that's why they thought, well, he's gonna do something because
he wants us as leverage for the wall. And I'm
(01:00:18):
okay with that. And you know what, Muslims feel the
same way. Nah, you don't have to like us, just
get him to stop killing each other over there. I'm
okay with that. And by the way, I think Trump
has zero problem with the Muslim I think he just
wants peace you know what Trump is. I just want
to do business. That's it. War is bad for business
(01:00:39):
unless you're in the war business. War is bad for business.
And let me tell you something, the left would absolutely
lose their minds if Trump came in and within a
month or so got to cease fire and figured out
(01:00:59):
a way to broker a peace deal with Ukraine Rush.
They would lose their blanking mind more from the Michigan.
Speaker 34 (01:01:05):
We are with President Trump because we want a strong border,
and we agree with President Trump that anyone who wants
to come to this country is welcome, but he has
to do that through legal pathway.
Speaker 1 (01:01:21):
Oh no, a legal pathway. This guy's a Nazi too. God,
there's so many Nazis out there.
Speaker 34 (01:01:27):
I believe personally that God has saved his life for
a reason, which is to save the lives of others.
Speaker 1 (01:01:36):
We support Donald J.
Speaker 34 (01:01:39):
Trump for his commitment to promoting family values and protected
our children will being, especially when it comes to curriculums
and schools. We as Muslims support this man because we
believe that he will be a president for all Americans,
embracing every race, color, and religion.
Speaker 1 (01:01:59):
That guy obviously on drugs, By the way, if you
didn't know anything about what you talked about the curriculum.
So in Dearborn, Michigan, the couple of school boards became
well essentially mostly Muslims on the school board. And the
first thing they did is they went into all those
curriculums that the white people say you shouldn't be doing
this and teaching this, and everybody's like, you're just a
(01:02:20):
bad person. You hate the LGBTQ, plus I commrch where
you you know, they say that stuff. And then the
Muslims came in like, look at the diversity we got
on here's all this diversity is fansiastic. And then the
first thing to do is like, yea, all this stuff's
going away. But and then they don't what to do, right.
They're confused. They're like, well, if I say something, they're
gonna think I'm Auntie. You know, I've got islamophobia, so
(01:02:44):
I can't say anything. But then they just went and
just oh geez, oh my lord. Three, two, three, five, three, eight,
twenty four twenty three Act Chad vnsent, show your Twitter,

(01:03:09):
somebody else as opposed to Trump and a crowd, because
Trump love a crowd, because he plays to it. Because
as I always say, Trump is an entertainer. That's what
he is. An entertainer. Three two three, five three eight,
twenty four, twenty three at Chad Benton Show is your Twitter.
He's an entertainer at heart, is what I'm trying to say.

you've come to the perfect place for takeout.
Speaker 1 (01:04:56):
With all the chaos and all the craziness going on,
every once in a while, it's good to just take
a deep breath. And I don't think people understand that,
because it's good to just to listen to somebody who
maybe has more understanding of chaos and craziness, understanding of
(01:05:16):
the world that we're living in today. That's why we
have a new segment on the show called No It's
time for the Gary Pucy Moment of the day.
Speaker 35 (01:05:27):
Life. It's like eating a gormele meal. Everybody's different, does
not taste the same. And keeps you curious about what
the next fite is.
Speaker 20 (01:05:45):
Broken in life.
Speaker 1 (01:05:48):
We're gonna be doing that every single day, he burped
in the middle of that. See you're already laughing. Takes
your mind off things, no matter how bad things are.
Gary Busey can make us feel better. Oh indeed, last
night Trump evil.
Speaker 3 (01:06:03):
I am under investigation more than the great late Alphonse Capone.
Speaker 1 (01:06:09):
My father's looking down on me right now.
Speaker 3 (01:06:11):
He's a tough guy, but he was like, legit, and
I know my mother's in heaven. I'm not one hundred
percent sure of my father, but it's close. But he's
looking down at me right now, and he's saying that,
hell did this happen to my son. He's not a
bad person. I'm a good person. All we want to
do is straighten out our country.
Speaker 1 (01:06:31):
Oh, my wife laughed so hard. He's legit, pretty sure
about my mom, not so much about my dad. Chad.
That whole night was full of They didn't go with
the klan though, I was interesting. Yeah, it's hard if
you're a Democratic, it's all the clan because well, you
know the Democrats clan that was their jam. So they're Nazis.
Three two three five, three, eight, twenty four to twenty
three at Chad Benson Show. Is your Twitter tweet at
(01:06:53):
us text the program. Oh my goodness, eight days. I
cannot wait for this thing too. I don't even know
what it's going to look like. Actually in eight days.
People ask me every day, what do you think is
going to look like it? I have no idea. I
couldn't tell you. I mean, is it going to look
like it is over the night of Because we're starting
(01:07:16):
to get this. What we're going to have to look
for for it to be over is places like big
cities that look like it is going to be a
win for Trump in swing states. That is when you
would know it's over. And if it is places that
(01:07:37):
Trump won big time and Harris is carrying it, well,
then you could say there's a chance this is going
to be over tonight. But the reality is both of
them are going to claim victory. Both of them are
going to run out and say we won tonight, and
they're both going to be in a position where they're
going to lawyer up. And you know, that's just the
(01:07:58):
reality of where we are. We live in a time
where these things, in many cases maybe maybe actually litigated
more than actually voted upon. That's how we may get
our outcome.
Speaker 36 (01:08:11):
And again, I just really can't stress enough that even
though we are talking about how dark, how divisive, how
polarizing these comments can be and fear based, the crowd
is loving it. They are standing up, They are giving
him different applause lines at durious time, standing ovations at
various times. They are receiving the information that he is
putting out there. We don't know if this is going
(01:08:31):
to go further than just his face, but it does
feel to the Trump team, who I've talked to on
the ground here, that they are gaining some momentum while
Donald Trump continues to use.
Speaker 12 (01:08:41):
This kind of rhetoric on the campaign trail.
Speaker 36 (01:08:43):
So it doesn't seem as though it's going to dial
it back or change any of his messaging in these
final days before the campaign.
Speaker 1 (01:08:50):
Why should he change any of his messaging just out
of curiosity? Why should he change any of his messaging.
You're going to tell no matter what he says, going
to call him a Nazi, no matter what you say,
You're going to say is a fast We've talked about
that earlier, we'll probably talking about it next hour. The
messaging has always been the same, but it's darker now.
(01:09:11):
It's got an evil tend to it. Okay, whatever. On
the other side of it, the messaging the Democrats are
using that isn't working, That is it. Pole after poll
is showing that again. Polls take them for what they
are until they can prove everybody that they were right.
It's going to be tough to buy into them. But
(01:09:31):
that's all that we have at this moment in time.
Speaker 37 (01:09:33):
Our new poll shows Harris holding a slight lead four
points nationally among likely voters. Trump is strongest on the
economy and the border. Harris is most trusted on protecting
democracy and abortion rights. When it comes to personal attributes,
including mental sharpness and honesty, it's all Harris ahead of Trump.
Speaker 1 (01:09:51):
There you go. And we've played some of Joe Rogan
throughout the day with Trump the other day and it's funny.
Anthony producer Anthony text me, he goes, oh no, watching
three hours of Rogan, said Okay, you don't have to,
and then he texted me like twenty minutes later because
I'm nineteen miutes in, I'm kind of fascinated by this,
and then he said the same thing. I say all
the time. Trump one on one is not Trump in
(01:10:11):
front of a crowd. Trump one on one, where you're
sitting there, you're asking him questions, you're having a conversation.
He's not playing to an audience. He's talking to you.
Is a much different person than Trump in front of
a crowd last night, he's trying to get everybody riled
and rallied up and ah, and then at the same time,
when he sits down with Rogan, it sounds, you know,
(01:10:34):
much different. A little bit of quiet, little bit of hey,
let's have a conversation, right like that. That's the reality
of the way that Trump deals with things. He plays
to the crowd. That's why he kept saying in the debates,
no crowd's better for Trump. And he loves the rallies.
He loves to get out there, he loves to do
those things. He loves to be in front of people.
All of that stuff aside, though, when he sits there
(01:10:56):
and he just has a conversation with somebody, it is
much different than when he's in front of five, ten, fifteen,
twenty thousand people.
Speaker 3 (01:11:04):
We were ready to rock and roll, and then we
had the COVID thing, and if we didn't give some
businesses ahead, they would have all you would have had
a depression like in nineteen twenty nine, but we were
ready to start. We would have very shortly been paying
off debt. You know, we have thirty five trillion dollars
in debt. And I'll never forget it. We had the
greatest economy in history. Never has there been an economy.
Speaker 4 (01:11:26):
And you attribute that to lowering times, a lot.
Speaker 3 (01:11:29):
Of errors two things. And also I cut regulations more
than anybody else, so we got hit with that. And
despite that, we had the best economy. And when I
gave it over, the stock market was higher than it
was pre COVID. I mean, nobody could even believe it.
Speaker 1 (01:11:46):
Well, he's right about the cutting regulations the greatest economy.
It's always debatable, right, Like that's probably not the greatest economy,
but he believes it to be. So a lot of
people feel that way definitely better than what people are
feeling now. And again, separate the economy from being the
producer of goods the seller of goods to the person
purchasing it. That's the inflationary side that we feel.
Speaker 4 (01:12:08):
So it's your belief that if you had a second
term given the policies in place, the way the economy
was booming, that you would have been able to pay
off a lot of the debt.
Speaker 3 (01:12:17):
And now we didn't have COVID, we would have been
paying off debt. And don't forget by growth. Growth is
actually more important in it because you could have the
same debt. But if you doubled your growth, all of
a sudden you're under levered. But if you look at
the asset value, we have oil underground, we have water.
The assets are so enormous, and we would have started
paying off debt and probably even giving further tax reductions.
(01:12:41):
I want to get it down to fifteen percent.
Speaker 1 (01:12:43):
It's very interesting. Again, a much different person one on
one than he is in front of a crown. You're
missing you show grab the podcast. It is the Chad
Benson Show.
Speaker 12 (01:12:53):
This is the Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 1 (01:13:22):
You know, last night, while all the Nazis were at
the Madison Square Garden, including Donald Trump, Adolf Trump La
I don't think that's his name. I know it's not,
but it's funny. I watched a good portion at last
night and then the football game came on and I'm
like I'm gonna watch some of this. My wife was watching.
You know, Trump do his stand up routine and whatnot.
I will tell you I've said this for a very
(01:13:44):
long time. Trump, you know, it's joke about it. He's
an entertainer. He does, he entertains. If you put him
in front of a crowd of two or three people,
he's gonna ask questions. They're gonna ask questions, They're gonna
have a conversation, you know, maybe make you laugh and stuff.
You put him in front of a thousand, he's a
different part because he loves to be the entertainer. So
Trumps past Friday was on with Joe Rogan, Evil Rogan.
(01:14:08):
They talked about all kinds of stuff. We played a
little bit last how we know about the economy and
all that stuff. But it's just a different Donald Trump
when he's one on one, same thing when he was
on with the likes Oflex Friedman and several others. It
is a different conversation than you get a more well,
quite frankly, a more open conversation with a person who's
(01:14:30):
going to give you his ideas, not based in what
the crowd wants him to say, but based on reality.
And throw things out there, and they talked about a
lot of different things.
Speaker 4 (01:14:38):
The internet's given people information that they're not getting from
anywhere else. They'll very fine people hoax, the Russia Gate hoax,
all these different things that they've done. They tried to
pin on you. That's like, it's a clear distortion of
what you actually said. Bloodbath hopes.
Speaker 3 (01:14:52):
Yeah, I was talking about the auto industry. It's a
bloodbath because Japan and of course China are taking our order.
And I said it's a bloodbath. They said, oh, he
used the word bloodbased a bath.
Speaker 4 (01:15:06):
That's what they're gonna take over.
Speaker 1 (01:15:07):
It's it's a terrible Yeah, that's true. I mean, and
we could go over that a thousand times people, but
it was just you're sitting there and go, well that
that guy doesn't sound like the guy that's on there,
going we're going to do this because one of them
is about show and the other one is more real.
Is more of this is what you're really going to
(01:15:28):
get comparatively to when the cameras are on in a
way where not only the camera's on, but there are
oh my god, twenty five thousand people in the audience.
I need to make them laugh. I'm gonna go wherever
they want me to go, and then I'll go even further,
and then that I'll get a bigger laugh, and I'll
keep going. Continue sir.
Speaker 4 (01:15:45):
But that's the problem with propagandists because they take things
out of context and of ultimately, what they do is
they diminish their own credibility because people don't want to
listen to them anymore because they see that they've done
that and they recognize what's going on, and they feel insulted.
They're intel just well, look at the ratings.
Speaker 3 (01:16:01):
But you know, I'm on TikTok now, congratulations and I've
done really well.
Speaker 4 (01:16:05):
No, but you know they're crazy.
Speaker 3 (01:16:07):
Have you seen the numbers of billions, like billions of hits.
Speaker 20 (01:16:11):
It's crushing.
Speaker 3 (01:16:12):
Sure, a Republican is always down thirty with the young people.
I'm plus thirty.
Speaker 1 (01:16:18):
I don't know about that. See, there's this hyperbole. Just
sounds like a different person. And the media thing is
absolutely right. We're gonna get to that in a little bit.
But you sit there and you listen, and it's a
conversation that you're like, all right, I can ask you
some questions and this is going to be interesting because
(01:16:38):
you're going to be able to answer some of these questions.
And Joe didn't push back. Joe doesn't push back on
a ton of people, by the way. He's let me
tell you something he did three hours with Trump. They
talked about a lot of stuff. And yes, they talked
about aliens. We'll get to that in a second. They
talked about a lot of different things, and it was
very interesting and even you know said last hour or
(01:17:00):
even producer Anthony said, I'm not watching this thing for
three hours, and about twenty minutes later, be goa do
I find this very interesting? This is much different.
Speaker 3 (01:17:06):
Trump I always got more publicity than other people, and
I didn't. It wasn't like I was crying. In fact,
I don't know exactly why. Maybe you can tell me why.
Speaker 4 (01:17:14):
I could definitely tell you. He said a lot of wild.
Maybe maybe he.
Speaker 1 (01:17:19):
Said a lot of wild.
Speaker 4 (01:17:20):
And then CNN in there all they're brilliance. By highlighting
your wild, it made you much more popular. Yeah, and
they boost you in the polls because people were tired
of someone talking in this bullsh pre prepared politician lingo.
And even if they didn't agree with you, they at
least knew whoever that guy is, that's him, that's really him.
Speaker 1 (01:17:42):
So true. And by the way, CNN also realized early
that he's he's a money maker. Right when Zucker ran it.
They realized nobody cares about anybody else. Nobody cares about it.
This is what everybody cares about. They love him, they
hate him. There's a motion involved to it. He is
a money making machine. He is our drug, he is
(01:18:02):
our goal and goes. We cannot let this go. We
must follow him for as long as we possibly can.
And he recognized that.
Speaker 4 (01:18:09):
One of the beautiful things about you is that you freeball,
like you get out and you do these huge events
and you're just talking and you're making We've highlighted you
on the show many times. You when you did this
Biden impression where he's walking around, he doesn't know what
he's doing. Story, it's stand up. It's funny stuff. And
you were making fun of Elon one time. You're doing
it an Elon impression.
Speaker 1 (01:18:27):
It's great.
Speaker 4 (01:18:27):
You have like comedic instincts, like when you said to
Hillary you'd be in jail, Like that's great timing. It's
like that kind of stuff was unheard of as a politician,
Like no one had done that.
Speaker 3 (01:18:38):
It's funny. You need at least the attitude of a
comedian when you're doing this business.
Speaker 1 (01:18:44):
Spot on much different person, but so right, that's what
we've always said. He's the entertainer. He has figured out
how to be the entertainer and chief as much as
he has figured out how to be the commander in chief,
cause you've got to be the in today's world, there
has to be a portion of it intern And even
I have gotten myself to the point where I've watched
you know it was it, you know, jd Vance and
(01:19:08):
Tim Walls, and I'm like, man, this is kind of boring,
and I'm like, what catching myself? There is something about
him that's it. People gravitate towards him because he's entertaining
and you may hate him, but he's gonna say something
crazy and he's kind of entertaining. You may love him.
You're like, he's going to say something I'm gonna love.
There is that, but when you listen to him here,
(01:19:29):
it's a totally different person.
Speaker 4 (01:19:31):
To me.
Speaker 3 (01:19:31):
The most beautiful word, and I've said this for the
last couple of weeks in the dictionary today and is
the word tariff. It's more beautiful than love. It's more
beautiful than it's the most beautiful word. This country can
become rich with the use, the proper use of tariffs.
Speaker 4 (01:19:48):
It'll you just to float out the idea of getting
rid of income taxes and replacing it with tariffs. Well, okay,
we're serious about that?
Speaker 3 (01:19:56):
How yeah?
Speaker 6 (01:19:56):
Sure?
Speaker 1 (01:19:56):
But why not people like, wait, what he wants to
get rid income tax? We're gonna do what with tariffs?
They'll tell me more.
Speaker 3 (01:20:02):
Our country was the richest in the relatively in the
eighteen eighties and eighteen nineties, a president who was assassinated
named McKinley. He was the tariff king. He spoke beautifully
of tariffs. And we will not allow the enemy to
come in and take our jobs, and take our factories,
and take our workers, and take our families unless they
pay a big price. And the big price is tariffs.
(01:20:25):
Who is right? And then around in the early nineteen
hundreds they switched over stupidly to frankly an income text.
And you know why, because countries were putting a lot
of pressure in America. We don't want to pay tariffs.
Please don't true.
Speaker 1 (01:20:37):
I mean McKinley did love them. And again the tariff
thing is you know, it's funny everybody talks about you know,
if we did all these things, by the way, he
or Harris aren't going to do all of these things
because they can't. And tariffs, much like the threat of deportation,
is negotiation and when used properly, which by the way,
(01:20:57):
everybody out there will you know, that's just we would
never do anything that Biden got in and he increased tariffs,
didn't get rid of terrafs when it came to China
in the way Trump has done it. If we manufacture
it here, there's going to be tariffs on it. If
we unless you're not tariffing us. If we don't manufacture it,
(01:21:19):
then there shouldn't be tariffs. It's kind of simple. It's
kind of always been that way.
Speaker 3 (01:21:23):
And I said, if that plan goes up, I want
them to understand if I win, I'm going to tax
those cars at the rate of one hundred or two
hundred percent apiece so that you won't be able to
sell them in the United States. They just announce they're
not going to build a plant. That I did a
big favor for our country by doing that, and I'm
not even there yet. China does it. That's what China did.
(01:21:43):
If you want to open a factory and sell cars,
if you build a factory here or have a factory,
they don't take our cars. They wouldn't take our cars.
But if you build a plant in China, you can
do that. Elon did that. By the way, Elon is great.

Speaker 31 (01:23:58):
What Truphy.
Speaker 1 (01:24:03):
Let's find out what's turning on the old interwebs on
this Monday, eight days away from the election. Start with
Google Cowboys number one training thing last twenty four hours,
followed by the Bears and the Commanders want to play
right Like that was sick right right? Tony Hinchcliff. Last night,
(01:24:26):
the controversy at Madison Square Garden so funny. Lots of
football Clippers, Warrior, Saints, Chargers, Bill Seahawks, Dwayne Wade gets
a statue, Panthers, Broncos, Titans, Lions, Cadineals, Dolphins, Nick Bosa.
If you didn't see Nick Bosa during an interview. He
(01:24:47):
so it's like one of those after the game interviews.
Speaker 20 (01:24:49):
Like eh, Brock Berdie, he played a great game. Da
Da da dad.
Speaker 1 (01:24:52):
He shows up with a make America Great hat again.
Oh my god, kill Tony. That's Tony Hinchcliff, Melania Trump.
Timothy Schalaman showed up at a Timothy Shalamant lookalike contest.
Did he win? Yeah, he would have won. They said
that it's like who is it? Was it? Dolly Parton
(01:25:13):
went to a Dolly Parton lookalike contest and she didn't
win which was hilarious. Although it is a lookalike contest,
it is not a Dolly Parton contest. Over to the
Magical World Oh Yahoo, Cowboys, number one trending thing, Tony Hinchcliff,
Dwayne Wade, Harris Versus Trump, Johey O, Tani Hardiy Shoulders
(01:25:33):
going to play tonight, Joe Rogan, Roblocks, Taylor Swift, Megan Markle,
Golden State Warriors all trending. And finally over to Twitter
Chromacopeia trendy. It's an album, The Dropped Puerto Rico, Good Monday, Bosa,
MSNBC Cowboys, Tony Hinchcliff, Judge, Judy Georgi Lopez, Doctor Phil Gambino,
(01:26:02):
Crime Family. Now it's probably rapper stuff, but still Oprah,
Don Rickles, Latinos Kaepernick, Malania Nazi Rally. There we go,
had to get it in. Whew, that's the twenty sixth
biggest trending thing as we speak in the magical world
of Twitter. Ceedee Lamb also trending. My goodness, the Nazi
(01:26:30):
rally last night? Did you afterwards? So if you guys
don't know who Tony Hanscliff, we've talked about it, right.
This guy is a he's a comedian. He's known for
his dark sense of humor. When you watch all of
those roast that you see he writes a vast majority
of that stuff like that's his jam. So making fun
(01:26:50):
of things, whether it's Puerto Rico or it's that's kind
of what he does. It didn't matter, though, because they
just freaked out.
Speaker 36 (01:26:59):
And again, I just really can't stress enough that even
though we are talking about how dark, how divisive, how
polarizing these comments can me and fear based, the crowd
is loving it. They are standing up, they are giving
him different applause lines at durious time, standing ovations at
various times. They are receiving the information that he is
putting out there.
Speaker 20 (01:27:18):
We don't know.
Speaker 36 (01:27:19):
If this is going to go further than just his face,
but it does feel to the Trump team, who I've
talked to on the ground here, that they are gaining
some momentum while Donald Trump continues to use this.
Speaker 12 (01:27:30):
Kind of rhetoric on the campaign trail.
Speaker 36 (01:27:32):
So it doesn't seem as though it's going to dial
it back or change any of his messaging in these
final days before the campaign.
Speaker 1 (01:27:38):
Because he said Nazi sorr and he's ever been he
said last night. He said, oldst this is all so
good for all of us, fate to we get the
ovens ready. So stupid. Stop saying he's a Nazi. Stops
saying he's a fact. He's none of those things, for
God's sakes. So stupid. And if you buy that, you're
(01:27:58):
an idiot, an absolute problem. Data bank.
Speaker 5 (01:28:02):
Donald Trump has always wanted to quote unquote play Madison
Square Garden. That's what he's doing right now. But he's
doing it as somebody who is continuing to stoke.
Speaker 6 (01:28:13):
The fears, play on the anger, and just flat out
lie over and over and over again in order to whip.
Speaker 5 (01:28:23):
Up people who he needs to vote, but also people
who just feel obviously that they are entertained by this
kind of rhetoric. I mean, let's just be blunt about it.
Speaker 1 (01:28:34):
Okay, Dana, let's be blunt about it. Tell us more, Dana.
Speaker 5 (01:28:36):
I just want to give one example of something that
felt flaid. Now this is not something that he said,
but this is part of the opening acts. There was
a comedian who completely denigrated all Puerto Ricans and the
island of Puerto Rico.
Speaker 7 (01:28:50):
I don't know if you guys know this, but there's
literally a floating island of garbage in the middle of
the ocean right now. Yeah, I think it's called Puerto Rico.
Speaker 5 (01:28:58):
I mean, you are seeing clean up high Republicans, or
at least attempt at clean up by Republicans who are
relying on big portions of Puerto Rican voters. I don't
see any evidence that the joke didn't land. I think
that there was a lot of laughter.
Speaker 1 (01:29:14):
Sadly, it was twenty thousand people, it's tough to tell
what was going on. Was there some laughter?
Speaker 4 (01:29:21):
I'm sure there was.
Speaker 1 (01:29:22):
By the way, I saw a bunch of Puerto Ricans
afterwards wearing their hats outside, laughing, going af get over it.
We're not offended by it. That's what he does. He
makes So let me get this right. So when he
does a roast and he writes all of those things,
are we to believe the horrible things he says about
Howard Stern or Tom Brady or whoever they're roasting Peyton
(01:29:42):
manning of the day is that we're supposed to believe
when they did Tonald Trump. We're supposed to believe all
of those things. Yes, everything you're supposed to believe all
the time, and if you've never seen Tony Inchcliff, he
is funny. He hosts the things called was it kill Tony?
And it's just it's get over yourselves for God's sakes,
Oh my god, into the darkness. And then it was
(01:30:05):
like going back to nineteen thirty nine.
Speaker 19 (01:30:07):
It was just like that.
Speaker 1 (01:30:09):
You could feel it. They're preparing the ovens, so freaking stupid.
Get over yourself? And you know what it was last night?
Speaker 5 (01:30:18):
This was.
Speaker 1 (01:30:21):
Trump's ego in full display playing at Madison Square. Guard
That's what this was. Three two, three, five, four, twenty
three at Chad Benson Show. Is your Twitter if you
miss any of the show's shame grab a podcast. It
is the Chad Benson.
Speaker 17 (01:30:34):
Shown Chad Benson, Joe.
Speaker 12 (01:31:07):
The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 3 (01:31:09):
We have a lot of interest in the people coming
from space, you know.
Speaker 4 (01:31:13):
Yes, and I know you're interested, Oh, very interested in that.
How much do they tell you about that? A lot?
Speaker 1 (01:31:18):
Really? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (01:31:19):
How much can you tell?
Speaker 21 (01:31:20):
So?
Speaker 4 (01:31:20):
How's that work? Because it's like super top tell.
Speaker 3 (01:31:23):
Me, well, based on Hunter Biden, I can say whatever
the hell I want. No, but I interviewed jet pilots
that say they saw something.
Speaker 4 (01:31:31):
I've had a couple in here. Commander David Fraver who
had that sighting in two thousand and four, very very
compelling with visual, visual video evidence.
Speaker 3 (01:31:38):
Or solid people and they said, we saw things, sir
that were very strange.
Speaker 1 (01:31:43):
Drop on with Rogan tugging about the UFOs. What would
that do? Interesting? We talk about all these things, but
what would that do? Like if today we're like, all right,
here's the deal, guys, we really have extraterrestrials. Do they
think we're the garbage Canada universe? Sta Very dies Chad,
(01:32:03):
we do. We have extraterrestrials. And you're thinking out of space,
You think we need to think interdimensional? It's much different.
What would that do to everybody? I mean, how would
that make you feel? I mean because at that point
you're like, I don't really give a rat to ask
what happens in our election at this point in time,
we've got aliens or something like that.
Speaker 3 (01:32:22):
They said, sir, there's something there.
Speaker 22 (01:32:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:32:25):
Yeah, I've talked to quite a few of the conspiracy guys,
just the Commander David Fravor thing in two thousand and
four off the coast of San Diego. They clocked that
thing going from fifty thousand feet above sea level to
fifty in the second. They don't know what it is.
Speaker 1 (01:32:37):
It's stuff to be.
Speaker 4 (01:32:38):
Yeah, they saw something in the water. They got video
evidence of this thing, radar evidence, whatever the hell it is.
It moves in a way that would turn a human
being in a jello. If they're inside of it, the
g force, no one would survive. So what is that?
Speaker 1 (01:32:51):
That was fun to talk about because he's like Trump's like,
I could say any but he doesn't say anything. And
I always go back to this. Do you remember when
was he was Obama on with Colbert and Colbert and
him were joking about this, and he said, come on,
tell me some stuff for real, tell me and then
Obama like that changed, said I can't tell you a
thing like and the look on his face and Colbert's like,
oh okay, we're gonna move away from this something about it.
(01:33:12):
And I always expected, you know, the first thing I
thought was, they can't tell Trump that there's aliens because
he can't keep his mouth shut, like tell him anything
but that, because he's gonna go out and say wacky stuff.
It's gonna be real and people are gonna freak out.
And then he's gonna try to see if he can
get want to do a television show with so we
just we can't just tell him that it's not real,
(01:33:35):
it's fake, it's all of our stuff, or tell him anything.
Speaker 4 (01:33:38):
I like.
Speaker 1 (01:33:39):
How still, though, isn't that the funniest thing? Like some
things with people. I was watching something with Channing Tatum,
the actor he is this line he uses in a
movie twenty one Jump Street where he's trying to come
up with a fake name. He'sai, my name is Jeff, Jeff,
he says. Everywhere he goes, people will say my name
is Jeff. And it's just like that's what sticks with people.
(01:34:00):
That's something And with presidents that is the number one
question they get. Where are the aliens? Because that's what
everybody wants to know, because the minute we find out
there's aliens, nothing else matters, right, Like, none of it matters.
I'm not paying taxes, I don't care about anything anymore.
I may not bathe there's aliens. They've lied to us,
(01:34:21):
But that's that would be here's the thing. Take that,
take that away the whole I'm not doing this. I'm
not doing that. We already have issues with trust, not
just in the media, but with government that I think
people would think that is the ultimate betrayal of the
way that you've lied to us for years. Speaking of
the media, Jake Tapper, jd Vance toe to toe, ask.
Speaker 38 (01:34:45):
Yourself a basic question about network integrity. You guys talked
about the Russia hoax NonStop.
Speaker 39 (01:34:51):
The FBI was investigating it. The FBI was investigating it.
Speaker 38 (01:34:54):
So we recovered that, and so you took the words
of unnamed FBI agents and put them on your network
as if they were the gospel truth.
Speaker 22 (01:35:01):
You did it again and again.
Speaker 38 (01:35:02):
A viewer of your network would have believed that Donald
Trump and Vladimir Putin conspired in twenty sixteen. That was totally,
im preposterously false.
Speaker 39 (01:35:10):
Now, well that's what you just said is false.
Speaker 1 (01:35:13):
No, No, he's right now. You guys ran with it.
It was entertainment much as anything. I mean, you soak
it up. I mean, the whole thing was bs. And
you wonder why people don't trust the media. Just like
fifty one of the greatest intelligence agents have signed on
to this thing saying it's absolutely a lie, even though
they know nothing about it, and half of them have
already talked to people who told him it's real. It
doesn't matter.
Speaker 39 (01:35:34):
We covered an FBI investigation. I don't know why you
want to talk about the FBI investigation.
Speaker 38 (01:35:38):
You covered it in a way that gave credence to
anonymous sources, accusations. You did it yourself, your network did it, Jake,
But again, can we talk about the issues that Americans
can I'm.
Speaker 39 (01:35:49):
Talking about things that Donald Trump has said.
Speaker 1 (01:35:52):
Yes, if you have an issue with whether.
Speaker 39 (01:35:54):
Or not he's talking about the economy, enough, that's between
you and your running mate. I'm talking about things he
has said this week.
Speaker 1 (01:35:59):
But if he says ten thousand things this week and
you only pick up on two of them, that all
you care about is the fear factor in entertainment.
Speaker 38 (01:36:08):
Every single rally that he does, he talks about how
he wants to unleash American energy so we can lower the.
Speaker 22 (01:36:13):
Cost of groceries.
Speaker 38 (01:36:14):
He talks about the fact that housing has become unaffordable.
He talks about the wide open border. Jake, Kamala Harris
and her allies. You know it's interesting Kamala Harris and
her media allies. And I would put CNN in this category.
You guys, would you guys seem I'll tell you I'll
tell you that they wouldn't. Well, they should watch your
network more because you guys seem to care more about
Donald Trump's past than the future of the American people.
(01:36:36):
We're running this campaign on making the American Dream.
Speaker 39 (01:36:40):
Specifically asking about how Donald Trump is going to be
president in the future should he win.
Speaker 1 (01:36:45):
Are you is that what you're really asking, Jake? Is
that what you're really really asking? Like I said, I've
watched several of his rallies, and his rallies. Can you
know he's got fifty people to come up right, there's
got a bunch of open and he comes out and
does his things, and does he say some ridiculous things
at times? Of course he does. Does he say things
for a laugh? Yes, But if he says one hundred
(01:37:10):
different things and you only report on one or two
of them, is that being really genuine in your reporting
or are you looking to sell salaciousness because well it.
Speaker 38 (01:37:22):
Sells gonna pursue economic policies that lower the cost of
groceries and make life more affordable again. He talks about
it every single day on the campaign trail, and so
do I. What you're talking about is an anonymously sourced
story or.
Speaker 39 (01:37:34):
One guy or who one guy, one guy who.
Speaker 38 (01:37:37):
Is a disgruntled employee.
Speaker 12 (01:37:38):
I told her five other people.
Speaker 38 (01:37:40):
Five other people pushed back against him and said that
what he said was dishonest. So why don't we talk
about the policy that's affecting American citizens and not what
Donald Trump allegedly said. According to one guy who's pissed
off because he got fired by.
Speaker 1 (01:37:53):
Donald Trump, and he's talking about Kelly last week gets
and by the way, you never source five other people
who also give their name, said none of that stuff happened,
and you never reported any of that. You only went
with the one side. And that's why people get frustrated.
That's why people are upset with the media, why they
(01:38:14):
don't trust the media. This is a guy from Wisconsin.
He's a professor. He thinks the reason people don't trust
the media is because of talk radio.
Speaker 18 (01:38:22):
Trust in the media has been declining for fifty years,
and it's not on the backs of who newspapers are endorsing.
It's largely due to an increasingly polarized country where people
can retreat to get news from sources that tell them
their side's right and the other side's wrong, dangerous and
evil and it also is happening because so many sources,
especially on talk radio, tell people don't trust the news media.
(01:38:45):
Those are reasons that media trust is diminishing, not because
some newspapers endorse candidates for office. And when newspapers don't
endorse candidates, they might think, oh, we're building up this
idea that we can be trusted. But of course, all
though the readers already in fact that the paper has
a preference, and now it looks like they're hiding their preference,
which is not a way to build trust.
Speaker 1 (01:39:05):
And this all has to do with the WAPO not
endorsing Trump. And then people are accusing Kagan, who used
to work there. He was their editor, resigned over the
weekend because they did not endorse anybody, and he's blaming
Jeff Bezos basically giving a hey, thanks a lot for
helping us with Blue Origin, So we're not going to
(01:39:25):
endorse anybody. But it's funny. He just said, Well, it's
talk radio's fault, but everybody knows who they're going to endorse,
right because they already have a preference. Well wait a second,
isn't the whole goal to be kind of an open
here we are, this is journalism. It's not journalism. Stop
of the journalism stuff. Journalism is dead. It's media now now.
(01:39:46):
Is there journalism at the local level, Yes, but for
the most part it's media and part of that is
driven by economics. Economics drives a lot of this, but
the thought process and it's all talk radio's fault. Mm
hm okay. Have hit it out of the park every

Speaker 4 (01:41:32):
You're eight days.
Speaker 1 (01:41:33):
Away from the election, but you know what, we're just
a few days away from number one in the Scary
Movie Countdown. These next four arguably the greatest horror movies
of all time. Now are they the scariest? Maybe not,
But are they the movies that left an impression on
(01:41:53):
us culturally, scared the crap out of us in different
ways at the time and even to today. Yes, there's
some fear in some of these things. Are you ready
for the countdown? We're at number Where are we again?
Speaker 19 (01:42:08):
The time has come, so prepare yourself for a journey
of fear from the darkest corner of cinema, the most
bone chilling.
Speaker 20 (01:42:18):
Tales ever told.
Speaker 19 (01:42:20):
It's the countdown you've been waiting for, the thirteen scariest
movies of all time? Which movie will take the top spot?
How about a fish tail so big because the jaws
open wide? Or the story of a young innocent girl
(01:42:54):
battling evil with some help.
Speaker 21 (01:42:57):
Well, then let's introduce ourselves.
Speaker 13 (01:43:01):
And in that covil.
Speaker 21 (01:43:02):
Now kindly undo this tratch? Where's Reagan in here with us?
Speaker 19 (01:43:09):
Or the fright of a madman with a chainsaw?
Speaker 1 (01:43:13):
So hear some stop?
Speaker 21 (01:43:15):
Stop?
Speaker 20 (01:43:21):
You'll have to listen to find out. Are you ready?
Speaker 19 (01:43:26):
Now it's time for the countdown to begin. The thirteen
Scariest movies of all time?
Speaker 1 (01:43:35):
Number four, Number four a movie that well, first of all,
based on true incidents that took place way back in
nineteen sixteen. But even as a child, and sometimes even
as an adult, it's hard to think when you're in
the water what lurks below?
Speaker 22 (01:43:56):
There is a creature alive today who has vived millions
of years of evolution, without change, without passion, and without logic.
It lives to kill. A mindless eating machine. It will
(01:44:17):
attack and devour anything. It is as if God created
the devil and gave him Jaws. I just found out
(01:44:39):
that the girl got killed here last week.
Speaker 21 (01:44:41):
And you knew it.
Speaker 4 (01:44:43):
You knew there was a shark out there.
Speaker 24 (01:44:45):
What we are dealing with here is a perfect.
Speaker 20 (01:44:47):
Engine, an eating machine.
Speaker 32 (01:44:50):
We're not only going to have to close the beach,
We're gonna have to hire somebody to kill the shark.
Speaker 1 (01:44:53):
Vision But I'll catch him.
Speaker 5 (01:44:56):
I'll kill him.
Speaker 22 (01:44:56):
You got to need a packer part. Roy Scheider, Robert Shaw,
Richard Dreyfuss, Jaws, see him before you go swimming?
Speaker 1 (01:45:15):
What do you say? How many look? For all the
movies that we're talking about, here are the scary movies.
The one that may have affected us in a physical
way was Jaws. Because sharks are real. Attacks happen every
single year, and yes, people do die from them. The
movie You writ by Peter Benchley was taken loosely from
(01:45:38):
a true live incident and took place in New Jersey
in badowa county where in the space of twelve days,
there was an attack after an attack after attack, four fatalities,
fifth person was injured, and that gave him the inspiration
for this movie. Now, Steven Spielberg directed the movie. The
(01:46:00):
movie's supposed to be sixty five days. It ended up
being one hundred days longer than that. It went from
four million dollar budget to a nine million dollar budget.
Casting it was a nightmare. Robert Shaw. Who were they
going to get to do Robert Shaw? Well, first they
thought about several different people. They offered it to Lee Marvin.
Finally they sided on Robert Shaw for Quint. When it
(01:46:24):
came to Brody Roy Scheider, they looked at all kinds
of people. Heston really wanted the part, but Spielberger thought, yeah,
the name was too big and the shark wouldn't last
past the first act. Robert Tavalg and Hackman were also considered,
but eventually they came to cast Brody through Roy Schneider,
who a few weeks earlier before the shooting started. That's
(01:46:47):
how close they were to He heard them talking about it,
said he loved it, and wandered over after hearing this
and said, what about me? By the way, Robert Shawn,
Richard Dreyfuss did not get along at all, Shaw would
call DyF is fat and out of shape. It was
not a good situation. The shark his name is Bruce,
named after the attorney for Spielberg. It's just an amazing movie, terrifying, incredible.
(01:47:18):
It is everything you can think of in a horror movie.
One of the things that helped the movie take off
was the fact that there was a shark attack not
many weeks before the movie came out, which cost everybody
to pay attention. This also gave rise because it came
out in the summer. It gave rise to the summer blockbuster.
(01:47:38):
This is the first movie in history D two gross
one hundred million dollars. Terrifies us to this day. And
one of the most terrifying scenes in the movie is
Ben Gardner's boat. So you remember that part where they
go down and Dryphis is down there and they've got
the lights on and they're shooting that scene and they
(01:47:59):
go down there and he thinks he's got a tooth
and he tries to pull it and Ben Gardner's head
pops up. Yeah, that actually was reshot in the editor's
pool with Spielberg and everybody. They poured a bunch of
milk in there to make it look cloudy. Then he
would go to the movies and watch it to see
(01:48:19):
people's reaction, and the minute they freaked out, he'd get
up and walk out. There is no movie like it.
It is one of the great movies that has had
an effect on all of us. Number four in Your
