Speaker 1 (00:11):
The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
Between all the bathroom bill fights going on in the Hill,
you would forget that there are other things they're trying
to get done during this transition period, like getting an
age and the Battle of Matt Gates sounds like it
should be the Ballad of Matt Gates.
Speaker 3 (00:29):
Attorney General nominee Matt Gates huddled behind closed doors with
Vice President elects jd Vance and some of the Republican
senators who could decide his fate.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
You're giving a great senator has been giving me a
lot of good advice.
Speaker 3 (00:42):
Meanwhile, over in the House, the bypart is an ethics
committee held its own closed door meeting weighing whether to
release their report on Gates and allegations of sexual misconduct
and illicit drug use.
Speaker 2 (00:53):
Ooh, elicit drug use. So yesterday they did, indeed trace
the payments back to Matt Gates ten thousand dollars. You
don't find that odd that a congressperson in his thirties
is sending some seventeen year olds random money on Venmo.
(01:14):
You don't find that weird. I'm just curious if anybody
finds that weird. Are we ever going to find out
about it?
Speaker 3 (01:22):
After the two hour meeting, the Republican chairman of the
Ethics Committee announced the report would not be released, at
least not now.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
They're not on the committee to relieve the role.
Speaker 3 (01:32):
Of Democrats on the committee are furious, saying they want
the report out, but the Republicans refused.
Speaker 2 (01:39):
Yeah, it's the whole thing is going to be interesting
because the threats are already out there. Trump wants him,
period case closed. Wants him, wants him, wants him. It's
got to have this guy. I don't know why I've
told you what I think about. Is it a test
right to see who's going to be loyal and who's
not going to be loyal when it comes to getting
(02:00):
stuff through the Senate, because you know, he is threatening
people already and this, you know, I mean, look, he
wants to build a team. I have zero problems with that.
This is the only one I have a problem with
so far. I have no problem with RFK Junior. A
lot of people freak out about that, but that's kind
of quietly gone, you know, by the wayside. Not a
(02:21):
lot of people have come out against Marco Rubio some
of his other picks that they're controversy. They're not controversial.
They're only controversial because the media. Things are controversial because
they didn't win the election that they wanted them to win,
and so everybody who's picked outside of Marco was controversial.
Trump wants this.
Speaker 4 (02:37):
He's made it clear that of all his controversial nominees,
he puts this one right at the top. They're going
to fight for this. The President's going to fight with this.
He's been calling senators already. The Trump team is prepared
to play hardball with any Republicans who think about voting
against Matt Gates for attorney General or to vote against
(02:57):
any of his nominees.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
He's threatened him. He's basically said, if you go against
my nominees, we're going to destroy you. We're going to
primary the hell out of you. The beauty of the Senate, though,
is they're not scared. They're not. It doesn't bother them
because it's a six year term. So it's a much
(03:24):
different situation when it comes to the Senate. Comparatively, there's
less knee jerk reaction to what goes on there, and
there are several I've talked. I've talked to one senator
and somebody in the senator's office. They're not fans of
him long before the allegations, and they want to know
what they're getting. There's a reason for that, because you're
(03:46):
putting your ass on the line, and at some point
in time, you know all of this stuff is going
to get out. So seeing it now makes things easier
because if you go put your butt on the line
and then all of a sudden stuff comes out that
is really tough to defend. And this is supposed to
be the top cop in the land and you voted
him through. There's going to be issues there for sure.
(04:09):
And the other thing is there's a lot of people
in the Senate and in the House, by the way,
who don't like Matt Gates, which is one of the
reasons probably why Trump likes Matt Gates. So we'll see again,
the battle is very this was always going to be
this way. There's still a long time until they get
(04:32):
to the point where they're thinking about, well, we're gonna
have to twist, We're gonna have to try the recess appointment.
I hear that it's the recess. There's already been a
case that's been out there. I think anton Scalia and
the Spremeport ruled on it that to get the nominee
(04:55):
through on a recess appointment, they've got to really be
on recess. Trump ca can't order or any president can't
order them to go on recess and then appoint somebody.
So this whole thing is it's controversial with him absolutely.
Part of it is shock and awe. Okay, I'll give
(05:18):
him that. The other part is, yes, he knows that
Matt Gates is going to be loyal. I don't think
he's an idiot. I've never said that. I don't like
the guy. I don't something about him, and I'm not
afraid to say it, and I get some people to
push back. And yesterday, again like the Kavanaugh it's just
like it's not like Kevanaugh. None of it's like Kevna.
(05:39):
That being said, there's a system in play. They're going
to have to figure out how they maneuver through this
and does he get through or doesn't he? Time is
going to tell that. Time is going to tell that.
Yesterday lank and Riley, the young lady who was viciously
(05:59):
murdered by somebody who was here illegally, somebody who became
quite a face for what the hell's gone wrong at
the border. Well, her killer had his day in court,
and the judge, because there was no Jerry, not a
(06:20):
Jerry travels a judge trial told him you did it.
Speaker 5 (06:26):
OSEI Antonio E. Barrow was in the country illegally in
February when he was arrested in the kidnapping and killing
of Georgia nursing student Lincoln Riley. Republicans, including then presidential
candidate Donald Trump, highlighted the case in their call for
tougher border policies. Now, the twenty six year old has
been found guilty of murder.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
Yes, guilty of murder. Lincoln's mother, along with Lincoln's little
sister and several others, had a chance before the sentencing
to have really her day in court be the voice
(07:05):
that she couldn't be, and it was powerful.
Speaker 6 (07:08):
There is no end to the pain, suffering, and loss
that we have experienced or will continue to endure. On
that horrific day, my precious daughter was attacked, beaten and
shown no mercy. This sick, twisted, an evil coward showed
(07:29):
no regard for Lacan or human life. We are asking
that same be done to him, your honor, I'm asking
you to please give Jose Abara, the same thing he
gave us when he made the choice to take in
Lacan's life and destroy ours. He showed no mercy on
Lincoln when she was begging for her life. I'm asking
(07:51):
you to please give this monster life without any chance
to parole, so that he never gets the chance to
hurt anyone else over again.
Speaker 2 (07:59):
He's a poa. And I'm still surprised that Georgia doesn't
have the death penalty.
Speaker 7 (08:03):
The judge count one malice murder. I was sending you
to life without the possibility parole. Count five life in
prison consecutive to count one, Count six twenty years to
(08:23):
serve consecutive to count five.
Speaker 2 (08:28):
Good rot in hell. He was hunting women. He was
looking in doors, he was looking through windows, he was
doing everything he can, and he came upon a young
woman who in the prime of her life, just really
getting started, had everything in front of her. It was

Speaker 8 (10:37):
I have a great idea. Show up to Thanksgiving with
the shaved head and see what happens. You get extra
points if you consider yourself a daughter of an American Dadoo.
That would light his ass up, wouldn't it, Babe? It
makes them real mad when you do for yourself, even
(11:00):
your when you do things that are outside of what
is acceptable to do with your appearance, like shaving your head.
Speaker 2 (11:12):
Uh no, why are we doing this again? You're I'm
still trying to figure out you want people to show up.
I'm assuming it's it's women to Thanksgiving with a shaved
head because is this a Trump thing? Are you mad?
Are you mad about that? Or is this just I'm
(11:33):
rebelling against the patriarchy.
Speaker 8 (11:36):
Other dad mad options would include getting a tattoo on
your face or your neck or even your hands maybe,
or a facial piercing. That'll really set them off. I
love doing like that so much. I even want to
help you on your dad mad journey.
Speaker 2 (11:55):
Cutie.
Speaker 8 (11:56):
I think this is your sign to be unapologetic clean
you this holiday season, Pumpkin.
Speaker 2 (12:04):
What if you love your dad and you like the
way you look? Is this just a statement? Are you
just you just want to ruin Thanksgiving?
Speaker 9 (12:13):
Is that?
Speaker 2 (12:13):
It? God? So bitter, so freaking bitter. When I get
these videos sent to me every day, I'm like, what
the hell is wrong with people? How bitter? Are you?
Very bitter? It is? It's it's insane, So you you
(12:37):
just the goal is just to piss off your dad
for no reason. Again, you may be a staunch feminist,
but you're like, I love my dad. There's nothing wrong
with that. You're nothing wrong with that. Why is that?
Because at the end of the day, my dad loves me,
That's why. But I'm gonna shave my head to show
my dad. What what if he goes?
Speaker 10 (12:57):
Eh?
Speaker 2 (12:58):
Then then you made a statement, And I like how
the people that tell you to do these things never
do these things. Oh you may shave your head, you
don't got a bunch of tattoos on your face. Chimny coo,
do you think you are jelly? Roll and it's the
young women.
Speaker 11 (13:14):
However, in an effort to be sustainable, reduce, reuse, recycle,
per se, I'm thinking that we take all men to
Alcatraz Island and they are not allowed to leave until
they take a lesson on how to revert their internalized misogyny.
And only until they've passed a test that we women
decide are they allowed to leave Alcatraz Island. Let me
know what you think. I think it could be great.
Speaker 2 (13:33):
Think you're an idiot. Think you're bitter and you guys
are getting so bitter that the cats don't even want
to hang out with you. That's how bitter you are.
You're gonna be. You're not gonna be these old spinsters
with cats. You're gonna have to have fish and they
don't want to be there either. They flush me down
(13:55):
the toilet. It's bitter, this misogyny, and we'll decide what
to do. First of all, settle down with your misogyny.
Stop with that bs. If men were really as bad
as you think, do you think you'd have any rights? Honestly,
(14:15):
think about that for a second. If you think that
men are as bad as all the things you think,
they're evil, patriarchy, misogyny, they're all of these things. If
you really honestly believe that everyone of men is just
just that thing that you think. Do you think that
what you and the ladies are going to put us
(14:36):
on alcatraz? Is that what you think, honestly is that
it is?
Speaker 12 (14:44):
That?
Speaker 2 (14:45):
Is that what you really think? You think, Oh, we're
going to put you on Alcatraz? Will show you? No, No,
you won't. Because if that's the way you really think,
then what are you going to do about it? Try
it nothing? Because men aren't what you think they are.
(15:05):
You've built this thing up in your mind because you've
been told how evil and bad they are. So you're
gonna shave your head because your dad's a meaning forgetting
the fact that dad was knocking out the rent, busting
his ass to take care of family, or that you're
gonna put all the men on Alcatraz and we'll decide
exactly what to do with you after we come up
with some sort of special test. And you can't stop us.
Oh we can, Oh we can. If that's what you
(15:29):
think you're gonna do. No. And the funny thing is,
when I get this, it's toxic masculinity. I always laugh
at that because women think men aren't a holes to
each other, that somehow that it's only Hey, you know
Todd over here. It's just a great guy all the
(15:50):
time to all the guys, but when it gets around
the women, he makes sure he smacks him down. No,
Todd's an a hole to everybody. Do I get to
call him toxic? No, He's just an a hole. And
I remind everybody this. I've known several women in my
life who were also toxic, and some of them, by
the way, were fine with me, but they were toxic
(16:11):
to others, including their friends. And as we all know, ladies,
you guys are as mean to each other as men
are mean to other men, although you're a little bit
more judgy than we are. Three two, three, five, three eight,
twenty four to twenty three at Chat, Benson shows your
Twitter tweet at his text program. A lot of stuff
(16:33):
still to get to on this beautiful Thursday, including it's
gonna happen with the MSNBC, So they're gonna start breaking
stuff up, which is gonna be very interesting morning. Joe's
lost its last fewer, the fan has gone away, so
(16:56):
what's gonna happen? As they start to break stuff off
because it's not profitable and the world's moving in a
different direction. We're going to talk about that a bunch
of other things to get to. If you miss any
of the show, I say, shame on you. Check out

you got the TikTok. Yeah, we got the TikTok, which
is interesting to say the least. The comments on there,

Speaker 13 (17:29):

Speaker 1 (17:58):
Chat Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (18:01):
I don't know how much money I've got right now.
I've got a piggybank right here. I've got my Bucky piggybank,
and I've got my Frankenstein Head piggybank. I'm a look
because I know that MSNBC is for sale, along with
a few other things, because nobody wants any of what
they're doing, and quite frankly, they're an anchor to the
other parts of the brand, like just regular old NBC.
Speaker 5 (18:25):
It's been telegraphing the decision for a month, but now
Comcast has formally announced that it's spinning off most of
its cable networks two shareholders in a separate company to
be called appropriately enough spin Co, USA Network, CNBC, and
MSNBC are all to be carved off of Comcast. President
Mike Kavanaugh says it puts all of NBC Universal on
what he calls a new growth trajectory.
Speaker 2 (18:46):
Yeah, which is get rid of them because they suck.
Nobody wants MSNBC. Nobody does. And the speeding up of
the process took place last week when Mika and Joe
wentz and saw Trump after the election. But the run up,
(19:06):
I mean, just got to look at the numbers. There
is nobody's watching these. Nobody is just to give you
an example, not to tude my own horn. My numbers
if you look at the weekly numbers, and their numbers
are probably near about the same. When you start looking
at you know, I mean, it's it's I know, that
sounds weird. You're like, really, Chad, because I thought you
(19:27):
did this for free and then nobody listened. That's what
you thought. But oddly enough, apparently people do and they're awful,
and they're a drag to the big brand. They're a
drag to the brand. And with them moving in a
direction of separating MSNBC and NBC, what that does is
(19:52):
takes away all the resources that they had with NBC
and their reporters Bill Ariiley.
Speaker 14 (19:57):
NBC News is saying we don't want you around. Why
Because NBC News is numbers. Lester Holt and The Today
Show are catastrophe because half the country equates NBC News
with MSNBC and they won't watch. So NBC is desperately
trying to save the Mothership of information and they have
(20:18):
to throw MSNBC overboard. They're not putting anything into MSNBC.
They want to sell it. So where's Georgie Sorows Now?
Georgie's buying radio stations. You can get MSNBC for nothing.
They'll give it to you. They don't want any more
of this. Why because it's hateful, Not because it's so
(20:41):
far left. The whole NBC Comcast hierarchy is far left.
Speaker 2 (20:45):
But it's hateful, hateful towards the rest of the country
that doesn't believe what they believe, including Democrats who are moderates.
Morning Joe had one thing going for it that the
others didn't, which was it was kind of the show
that everybody watched in DC. Well, now that's not even happening,
(21:06):
and they sent Mek and Joe you go kiss his ass.
See what you can do, because we've got to spin
you guys off, and at this moment in time, you're
not worth a damn thing. And they're feeling it too,
by the way, joking about it.
Speaker 15 (21:19):
Comcast, which owns our parent company, NBC Universal, plans to
spin off it's cable TV networks that will separate off
entertainment and news channels, including MSNBC, CNBC USA, Oxygen E,
Sci Fi, and the Golf Channel.
Speaker 2 (21:36):
I will say really quickly on this, you know, I
Drudge at the top said, oh, like news, melt down
all this other stuff. I mean, I could be completely wrong.
We could all be fired a year from that. We'll
put HI when as happens. You never know what's gonna happen,
or tomorrow or tomorrow. Rachel Maddow makes thirty million dollars
a year, and their contracts are different than the average
(21:58):
person's contract. Their contracts are all all guaranteed. Kids pretty
much guarantee you. Her contract is iron clad. I don't
know what she does. It's a weird thing. You sign
a contract like she did. She's like, all right, I
want to sign your contract. We don't want a loser.
We don't want a loser. We don't want a loser.
So they go and sign a contract, and the first
(22:18):
thing they do is like, Okay, good, Now that we've
signed your contract, you don't have to do your show anymore.
We want you more flexible. Maybe one day a week
a peer, a few shows here and there, but not
too early in the morning, and you could do a
podcast that nobody listens to, and then we'll go from there.
Oh geez, that doesn't sound like a good way to
do things. But they've lost since the whole Trump confession,
(22:40):
they've lost so much. Hell, they lost Rosie of Donald.
Speaker 16 (22:43):
So last time I ever watched Morning Joe period end
of statement, unreal, unreal. For months you were telling us
he is the worst thing that could happen to this
country and democracy, and then you go kiss his ring.
Speaker 2 (22:57):
Despicable, despicable, you, despicable, you and nobody's watching. Nobody's watching anyways,
go back to this. Nobody's paying any attention. Nobody's watching
any of these programs. They're just not And you lost
any credibility you had with people being the resistance, not
(23:18):
that you are always the resistance, because let's not forget
and I pointed this out a long time ago, and
this goes for the view as well. Ladies, you weren't
always so mean to old Donald.
Speaker 17 (23:31):
The interesting part here is the backstory before they hated Trump.
They did more to get Donald Trump elected. Joe and
Mika got it than anybody in the media. I am
as guilty as any for giving Trump a lot of
attention and his rallies during the campaign.
Speaker 2 (23:49):
Okay, they loved him.
Speaker 17 (23:52):
They were on videotape in a commercial break asking Trump
what they should talk about when they come back.
Speaker 2 (23:58):
If I did that, okay, I would have been fired.
So to me, what it reeks of is opportunism.
Speaker 17 (24:04):
It was just money and now they need it, so
they go.
Speaker 2 (24:08):
Of course, it's always about money. And I'm in a
business where let me tell you something, if you read
any of the trades, you even know that my business
has been cleaning a house lately. And I'm not talking
about me specifically, I'm talking about the business in general.
People are tightening their belts, they're over leverage, they're looking
to figure out what to do. This is a different
time than ever before. And like I said, the media
(24:28):
world is bigger and stronger than it's ever been, just
not the way it was conventionally, but this old school
world where you pay a lot of these people a
crap ton of money, like thirty million dollars a year.
That's that's going away. Not that you can't make that,
you're just probably not going to make it there. Speaking
of the view, this is hilarious.
Speaker 18 (24:50):
Do you know what's in the air. Why what's sump
is we lost the election. Wait a minute, we lost
the election. We're miserable. Half of this country is miserable.
And let's just the truth. We hate that he wont.
Speaker 6 (25:08):
Like that.
Speaker 2 (25:10):
And why that makes me laugh is because while she's
saying that, Charles Berkley on with Ernie from T and T.
He's got a podcast and Charles had something to say
to the Democrats, and I just.
Speaker 9 (25:21):
Want to say this to the Democrats, which I'm an
independent who voted Democratic two minutes favor, shut the fuck up.
When you win, you get to say what you want
to When you lose. You need to shut the hell up.
Oh President Biden didn't. They didn't get him out the
race soon enough. Kamala didn't do this. We lost because
(25:43):
we had no game plan. We still haven't solved the
immigration problem, have no viable answers, never addressed inflation. Bringing
all these stupid stars out to rally the vote.
Speaker 2 (25:59):
What's that?
Speaker 9 (26:01):
Hey? I love Beyonce? What bringing her out? That ain't
gonna make me vote a certain way?
Speaker 2 (26:07):
Cardi B?
Speaker 9 (26:08):
I like Cardi B.
Speaker 2 (26:10):
That ain't gonna make me vote a certain type of way.
You guys lost because y'all stupid. Charles tells it like
it is kids three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four,
twenty three at Chad Benson Show, it's your Twitter tweet
at his texta program. You pay him thirty million dollars
a year because he's interesting. You don't pay somebody else
(26:33):
thirty million dollars years full of hate and anger and
disdain for more than half the country. Yeah, you don't
do that. I'm just letting you guys know. It's what

As you all know, my name is Mortan Cooper. I'm

small children in Ramala akby cousins. I am on Royal

Air and you can see that he is serving Nesley Water.
This is on the top of the boycott list who
are arming and supporting Israel and the genocide of Guazza.
(28:47):
So everybody right now needs to put pressure on Royal

supporting genocide.

are they charging for that thing. Henri Nesley establishes his
first lemonade and water bottling factory. I wonder what they make.
(29:18):
I know that you're not supposed to support them, but
I was just surprised that Nastalie makes that much water,
because that's where we are in this world. I like
how she is on an airplane, Royal Jordanian airplane. She's
not on Palestine air with their kids. Look, we are struggling. Okay,
let me tell you about this. Don't drink NESTLEI get
(29:44):
behind this.
Speaker 20 (29:44):
So everybody right now tag on social media and share
this Royal Jordanian and put pressure on them to remove
products that are supporting a genocide.
Speaker 2 (29:55):
A genocide, my god, I don't just the height of insanity. Yes,
there is a genocide going on within your own people
because the continual bs of what is happening by trying
(30:17):
to blame everybody else for the fact that anyone, anyone,
your very own people hold the Palestinians hostage your very
own people use you as Canon faught light to you
and enrich themselves your very own and you blame the Jews.
(30:42):
Keep doing what you're doing, You'll keep getting what you get.
Last night CMA Awards happened. So do you remember a
few years ago the controversy with Morgan Whalen, so, who's
arguably the best country artist in the last I don't know,
theteen twenty years, And then the N word happened. It's
(31:04):
like three in the morning. He was drunk with his friends.
Didn't say it to somebody said it to his other
white friend, and everybody thought, that's it. Then everybody canceled,
he got he canceled. Everything was supposed to be on
Saturday Night Live. They canceled, They canceled him everywhere. He
was done. And doesn't that people thought, well, this is it,
he's over and done with Yet talk about not a
redemption story, just the fact that people eventually went, you
(31:25):
know what, nobody cares. He said something stupid. He's apologized
for it. He was drunk, he was an idiot, and
he's young, and everybody moved on. Last night and the
CMA Award for Entertainer of the Year goes two Morgan.
(31:49):
A lot of people were upset though he was not
there last night. What yeah, the previous three years he
had been banned from the show for using a racial slur,
and since then, the board itself and Morgan have kind
of kept the distance from each other. And they said,
essentially the penance has been paid. They welcomed it back,
(32:11):
but he wasn't ready to, I think, come back on that.
But he won the biggest award and wasn't and it
wasn't like he's on a major tour. But it's still
a I thought about this last night because I saw
this and I thought, man, from what happened lo those
years ago, three years ago, being banned from everything, being
(32:31):
banned from the award robe, having the biggest album back
to back and then being banned from all of the
stuff was weird, but it felt like common sense prevailed.
And again what he said was stupid. He's apologized for it.
I don't know what do people want when it comes
to the pentance? They say, what do you have to pay?
Do you have to cut off of pinky? Is it
like the yakuza? Do you have to sit in front
(32:53):
of a group of people that the social media folks
and the liberals I want you to do, and you
chop your finger off and you wrap it up in
a napkin or a handkerchief and you slide it over
to them. I'm just trying to figure out what it
is that people want. So the comeback I think is complete.
(33:15):
Speaking of comebacks, I'm gonna try to get him on
the show now. I don't know if I can, but
I am going to do my damnness. Armie Hammer. I've
been watching his podcast. Remember the controversy around Army Hammer
and he was going to eat people, it was a
cannibal and all of this stuff. Well, he started a
podcast about a month ago, I think, and he's got
(33:39):
some of his friends that have stuck with him on there.
He's got Tom Arnold on there, and the funny thing
is he allows everybody that he's had on there to
ask a question. This is what questions do you have
for me? And Tom Arnold's first one is what happened
when the ass hit the fan? But I want to
(34:01):
get him on because the whole thing was chaotic. So
you remember he was a big star.
Speaker 21 (34:07):
And then there was this did he abuse his wife,
did he you know, all this stuff, and then there
was the cannibal thing, and the whole thing is odd,
and he's trying to make a comeback.
Speaker 2 (34:20):
And this is a guy who had everything. Remember he's
part of the Armin Hammer family, and he's got a podcast,
and it's just I mean, he is talking about you know,
he lives. I mean, he had to sell his truck.
He's got nothing, he's got a little car. He's just
trying to make a life and a name for himself,
and he lost everything. And this is kind of watching
you know, him maybe climb back from the ashes. If
(34:42):
I'm Donald Trump, I go army. I can bring you back. Brother.
So I want to let you know that. Let me
show you how it's done. Oh my lord. So I'm
gonna try to get him on though, because I just
find the whole thing fascinating. I was talking to my
uncle last night. I said, ACTU reached out to him
and I we'll see if we can get him on.
(35:07):
But my uncle's like, what's the first thing you're gonna
ask him. I'm the first thing I'm gonna ask him
is what was worse the cannibal stuff or the fact
that you played the Lone Ranger and Johnny Depp basically
made the movie about him, and then the movie sucked.
Oh three two three, five, three eight, twenty four to
twenty three at Chad Benson Show, is your Twitter? Yes,
I would ask him about the other stuff because I
(35:29):
find it fascinating guy who had everything and then had nothing,
I mean nothing, going from mansion, beautiful wife to selling
your truck and selling your soul, to sell time shares
(35:52):
or something, just to survive having been in major motion
pictures like a year too earlier. That's just got to
be the just you know. I couldn't even imagine what
that was like for him. Three two three at Chat
Benson Show your Twitter, f you're listening to show? Grab
(36:13):
the podcast. It is the Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 1 (36:17):
This is the Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (36:47):
To use the military or not use the military? Is
it rhetoric just to scare folks or is it reality?
When it comes to mass deportations, Rand Paul has broken
with the Trump administration in the military side of things.
And I understand this. I don't and I've talked about this.
(37:09):
I don't think there's gonna be mass deportations. I just
don't think it's gonna happen. Now. It's different. We talked
yesterday about the cartels and going after them as terrorist organizations.
That's a different thing. You're going after people who are
killing other people, enslaving other people. It's a warlike situation.
That is different than using the military for your mass deportations.
I don't know how we're gonna do it, period. We
(37:32):
still have the money for it. First and foremost, we
don't have the manpower and the money for it. It
sounds good like, oh, let's round up as many people
as possible that are here illegal in stuff, when in reality,
the economy in certain sectors in particular couldn't handle it
if a lot of people went away. On top of
(37:53):
all of that, let's just say, let's just say the
economy would be fine. I mean it would be it
would bounce back, but there would be some serious disruption.
But let's just say none of that matter. You're not
going to have the money or manpower to do it.
And you're also going to have a situation where you
have too many cities and states that are going to
play this game of we're a sanctuary and we're going
(38:16):
to fight you tooth and nail when it comes to
any of this stuff. How about we agree on some
things first and foremost violent criminals, criminals with serious, serious,
serious criminal convictions and warrants. Those people need to go.
I don't think you're going to get it. Even the Democrats.
(38:36):
Although there's some insane people out there, it's hard to
find anybody who thinks that's not a good idea. People
that have already been adjudicated, have been through the system
of which there's a million five, and have been told
you don't qualify for asylum, you need to go.
Speaker 22 (38:54):
But the military, I think what I would do, if
I were in charge of the immigration situation, would to
be the first to go after those who have committed crimes.
There are fifteen thousand people in our country who have
committed murder, about thirteen thousand that have committed sex crimes.
That's twenty eight thousand people. Why don't we start with
that twenty eight thousand. Why don't we put out an
all points bulletin and when we have them removed. I'm
(39:16):
not in favor of sending the army in uniforms into
our cities to collect people. I think it's a terrible image,
and that's not what we use our military for. We
never have army, and our military are trained to shoot
the enemy. They're not trained to get a warrant to
do what they're doing.
Speaker 2 (39:32):
Amen. I agree on that. I absolutely agree. Like I
said when we talked yesterday about the cartels, that's a
different story. But this is the military going into our cities.
And this isn't for a riot situation where you're sending
in the National Guard or something of that nature. This
is a much different situation and we wouldn't be in
this situation. I want to remind everybody we would not
(39:53):
be in this situation had the border been somewhat secure
over the past three decades, that there'd been comprehensive reform
and enforcement of any of the rules who were put
in place, we would never be in this situation where
we're looking at desperate measures to try to fix a
problem that should never have gotten this bad.
Speaker 22 (40:14):
As I'm all for remain in Mexico, I will not
support an emergency to put the army into our cities.
Speaker 2 (40:20):
I think that's a huge mistake.
Speaker 23 (40:22):
Do you think that's what Trump is intending to do?
Speaker 22 (40:24):
Well, that's what he said yesterday or his folksman said
he would declare an emergency to use the military to
remove people.
Speaker 2 (40:31):
I'm not for that. I'm not for.
Speaker 22 (40:32):
Really most presidential emergencies because they smack of martial rule,
they smack of no congressional approval, they smack of no
checks and balances.
Speaker 2 (40:43):
Amen. Now, Congress has given away most of its powers
for very long time, so that's on them. But that
being said, I don't want the military unless there's a
serious issue like we've been invaded or there's a who
knows what aliens which we're going to find out about.
We know that again frustration. Absolutely, we can remind ourselves
(41:03):
how we got here when we look at a situation
that we're currently seeing over the last three and a
half almost four years of a border that has been nonexistent.
So let's deal with what we can deal with, and
let's get the actual low hanging fruit. People that are
absolutely done and dusted as far as they've been to court,
(41:28):
they've applied for asylum, they've been back to court and
they went again, and they've been told they have to leave.
People that are criminals, people that are in custody. Let's
do those things first and then figure out what we
do with the rest and simultaneously, maybe most important, the
first thing is stop it from continuing to happen, which
is fixed the border itself.
Speaker 22 (41:49):
So look, I'm supportive of President Trump.
Speaker 2 (41:51):
I'm supportive of.
Speaker 22 (41:52):
Removing people illegal here, particularly people who removed have committed crimes.
But I'm not for the army marching up and down
our streets. I think it's a terrible image to send
the world. It's a terrible image for us as citizens.
And so I hope people think twice about trying to
use an emergency edict to have the army patrolling our country.
Speaker 2 (42:12):
And I don't think. I think a lot of what
Trump says is such bluster.
Speaker 9 (42:19):
Right.
Speaker 2 (42:20):
He throws a lot of stuff out there because it works.
It gets people riled up, It gets people angry, it
gets people talking. It We can go on and on,
but it gets that situation where people are starting to
to go, Okay, you know, what, what about this? What
(42:40):
about that? And and you know, I mean even with
Matt Gates and we'll talk about him in a segment,
it gets this certain situation of that that we find
ourselves in where we start talking about something and Okay,
maybe we need to address it. And there's a lot
of hyperbole there and a lot of overstatement, and a
lot of fear monitoring and whatnot. But at the same time,
there's also a reason these things are happening, and so
(43:02):
much of it is it's the loud bark, not that
the dog doesn't have teeth and can't bite, but is
sending a warning that it will bite if we don't
do something. And I think this is as much about
the people that are trying to come here that the
people that are already here and know that they have
to leave because they've been told you can't stay here anymore.
(43:25):
You've been through the system, the court system said you
can't stay, as well as criminal aliens, so you across
the board. I think a lot of it's talk and
Trump has been that way. And I always say, do
not judge a person by the words. You got to
judge by the actions. So we'll see. But I'm with
(43:46):
rand Paul there. I don't want to see the military
get involved when it comes to immigration or anything when
it comes to our cities unless there is a reason
we've been invaded. Whatever you want to come up with
natural disasters, we have no choice aliens, not illegal aliens
from somewhere else in legal aliens from a different universe.
Would you even count those as aliens and legal aliens?
(44:08):
How would we even do that to say they come
down and be cause the ship is that they go
through TSA. How does this work? Just try to figure
it out because it's gonna happen. So we are a
no on the military and being in our streets mass
deportations using the military. We're a no with that, okay,
But we are yes with let's take on the cartels.
(44:31):
That's where we are in the Chad Benson Show. A
no with the military when it comes to mass deportations,
and a yes for taking on the cartels with certain
units in our military and treating them as terrorists. Okay, cool,
I want to write that down. Make sure we got that.
Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four to twenty
(44:53):
three at Chat Benson Show is your Twitter? Speaking of immigration,
Lincoln Riley talk a bit about that in a minute,
young woman who was killed she was only twenty two

Speaker 16 (47:02):
Chad Benson, illegal alien accused of killing Lincoln Riley.
Speaker 23 (47:06):
Hearing the verdict, now, let's watch it.
Speaker 7 (47:08):
Three Count one malice murder. Found the defendant guilty. Count
two felony murder. I found the defendant guilty. Count three
felony murder. I found the defendant guilty. Count four felony murder.
I found the defendant guilty. Count five kidnapping with bodily injury.
I found the defendant guilty. Count six aggravated assault with
(47:28):
intent to rape. I found the defendant guilty.
Speaker 2 (47:32):
Yeah, that was yesterday, so remember the Lincoln Riley case.
Talked about it earlier, became a big hot button topic.
He was hunting women, came upon Lincoln. Horrific crime. It's
actually assaulted her, eventually murdered her. And that was the
(47:57):
judge reading the verdict. It was not a jury trial,
it was a trial by judge. Then came these sentencing
But before you get to that, it is the opportunity
for the family to stand up and have their say.
And this is Lincoln Riley's mother.
Speaker 6 (48:18):
There is no end to the pain, suffering, and loss
that we have experienced or will continue to endure. On
that horrific day, my precious daughter was attacked, beaten and
shown no mercy. This sick, twisted, an evil coward showed
(48:39):
no regard for Lacan or human life. We are asking
that same be done to him, Your honor, I'm asking
you to please give Jose Abara the same thing he
gave us when he made the choice to take Lacan's
life and destroy ours. He showed no mercy on Lincoln
when she was bacon for her life. I'm asking you
(49:01):
to please give this monster life without any chance to parole,
so that he never gets the chance to hurt anyone
else over.
Speaker 2 (49:07):
Again, and he never will. After the judge not only
heard from the mother and also her sister, he then
laid out the sentence for this scumback.
Speaker 7 (49:19):
That, mister Barr, if you will please stand count one
malice murder, I send you to life without the possibility parole,
Count five, life in prison consecutive to count one, Count six,
twenty years to serve consecutive to count five.
Speaker 2 (49:41):
That'll be a sentence, so that pos will spend the
rest of his life in jail. Good riddings to bad rubbish.
Unfortunately we have to pay for it for ever, or
until he meets his demise through natural causes, or who
knows what else would happen. That's not very nice. It's
(50:02):
just being honest. I'm surprised Georgia doesn't have the death penalty.
That feels like a state that would just like to
fry you. That's that's what I'm sensing. But they don't.
They don't. So he will spend the rest of his
days twenty four hours a day inside of a cell,
minus maybe situation where he can get out for an
(50:25):
hour a day. I don't know how they work that there.
When it comes to lifers like this and murderers what
a pos And again it became a hot button issue.
Young woman did nothing but live her best life and
(50:46):
go out for a jog, and for that she paid
the ultimate price three two, three, five, three eight, twenty
four to twenty three at Chad Benson Show is your
Twitter tweet at his text to program. Then you go
from there to this Susan SMI do you guys remember
the Susan Smith case. So this is what thirty years ago.
She was a mom who was having an affair with
(51:10):
a guy that had a lot of money and she
was obsessed with him, and he broke it off, apparently,
and because he didn't want kids, and so she drove
her kids, still strapped in their seats, into a lake
and they drowned. And then she said that she was
(51:31):
carjacked by a black guy. She's always blaming the black
guy man. And everybody thought, well, that's it, it's done,
and dustn't. But she was up for parole. She was
up for freaking parole. She's very upset, she's very sorry
about everything. I want to say how they're sorry I am.
(51:56):
It was horrible. Luckily you will never see the light
of day. People are still going, wait a minute, we
thought she was We thought she had no opportunity at parole.
The prosecutor is actually shocked. He thought there was no
way she was ever going to see the light of
day or you have a chance at parole. But she
(52:16):
was voted down easily, unanimously. And I remember the case
because I was in Europe at the time and they
were asking me questions about it, you know, for the
station I was at, and it was kind of an
interesting thing because it was such a big deal. It
kind of became a thing over there because this went
on for nine days before they arrested her. And the
break in the case though, because for nine days where
(52:39):
she had all these tearfully going got where's my kids
and all that stuff, and this guy's stolen, no, the kidnapped,
and and she did a polygraph her and her husband
and it was kind of inconclusive. But what got her
in the big break in the case was the traffic
light she said was read at the time, and when
(53:05):
they looked at the essentially how that worked and the schedule,
that said it was impossible for it to be that way,
and it was just something that little and then her
case started to fall apart. What a scumbag. You drove
your kids into a lake. And they tried to say
it was postpartum depression, and it was depression. It was this,
(53:26):
and it was that it was a dude that you
wanted to be with. Not only were you having an affair,
you killed your husband's kids, your husband, the father of
your children. There's a special place in hell for people
(53:47):
like you. Maybe you and jose Abara can go there together.
Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four to twenty
three at Chad Benson Show's your Twitter. That's enough of
court talk right here in the Chad Benson Show. Missening
the Shoe grab the podcast. It is a Chat Benson Show.
Speaker 24 (54:11):
The Chat Benson Shoe the Chat Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (54:35):
I about grabbed myself last night, which is weird because
I'm an adult and I shouldn't have to worry about
things like that. All kidding aside. Read this article in CNN.
It says how Trump can get federal employees to quit
make them return to the office. I thought, what, wait, what,
(54:57):
They're not back at the office. No? Now, President Elect
Donald Trump's Department of Government officials a doge. It's a
non governmental agency helmed by billionaire Elon Musk and biotech
entrepreneur and former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswami is expected
(55:20):
to make a push for the end of remote work.
Both Musk and Vivek have recently lamented the number of
employees working remotely across the government. Now, we have talked
about this on numerous occasions, that they are spending god
(55:40):
knows how much money on buildings that are empty, and
we're talking about millions of square feet of empty buildings
and people are ware because of COVID from four years ago.
Oh yeah, yeah, it's not to get your ass back
(56:02):
to work, right, Federal government employees, get your ass back
to work. That's what I'm saying. It's a no brainer.
So one person said, part of the doge. Many companies
have done this. So why shouldn't the federal employees who
are paid with taxpayer dollars be required to be in
(56:23):
the office. Amen? Did many of you know that that
they're still not at the office. Now, it's not everybody,
but there's a lot of them out there. Speaking of government,
Will Donald Trump get his picks through recess? Appointment is
a big one and Let's be real. The one they're
(56:44):
talking about most of all is anyone, anyone, anyone Matt Gates.
This is Senator thun who's going to be running everything
in the Senate.
Speaker 25 (56:54):
I hope President Trump does at least thirty three recess appointments.
Speaker 17 (56:58):
You know why.
Speaker 25 (56:59):
Thirty three goes Obama dot thirty two. So if anybody
thinks that recess appointments are something new and different, you
need to kind of study just a couple of administrations back.
I want President Trump to consider recess appoint a National
Labor Relations Board member or a CFPB member, or some
of these hyper partisan recess appointments.
Speaker 2 (57:20):
And there's been a lot of presidents, by the way,
I've used recess appointments. How about this, Franklin delan Or
Roosevelt two hundred, Truman, Eisenhower one hundred, Reagan two hundred
and fifty nominations required Senate confirmation two hundred and thirty
two were recess appointments. Bush w one hundred and seventy one,
(57:45):
Obama thirty two. So to say it doesn't happen, and
it hasn't in the past is a lie.
Speaker 25 (57:51):
But not for a cabinet level position that should be
absolutely off the table, and quite honestly, any serious candidate
for cabinet level position I would have to really wonder
if they would want it or be willing to accept
it under a recess appointment. That his positions are too
important and carry too much weight internationally. You take a
short gun.
Speaker 2 (58:10):
Trump wants it bad, and he has threatened any buddy
who thinks about going against his cabinet. And again there's
a difference. You're gonna have a whole bunch you're not getting.
Not all of them are cabinet positions, but you're gonna
have the big ones. Have to go through them. And
he is warned that not only will they the Republicans
(58:35):
go out and primary you, they'll do it with Elon
must Money. The beauty of the Senate though in a
time where we have a very short attention span, you
have six years so and some of these people, even
(58:57):
if you go out and you go after them, are
still safe. It's not like Congress, where you can pick
some off here and there in a much different way.
Three two, three, five, three, eight, twenty four to twenty
three at Chad Benson Show, is your Twitter Keeping with
the magical world of Congress? Nancy Mace. She's a meanie.
(59:18):
You guys know that, because she doesn't want waaners inside
the locker room with her.
Speaker 26 (59:23):
The end of the day, there has to be a
line in the sand. You can't allow penises in women's
locker rooms. Men can't watch women change clothes like that's
just never going.
Speaker 2 (59:33):
To be a thing. And and women have rights.
Speaker 26 (59:35):
So at what point do men's rights trample on women's rights?
They don't, They can't, They never will as long as
I'm here standing in the.
Speaker 2 (59:42):
Way here here, and I've been saying that, at what
point do the young ladies, the young women, the women
that are a little bit older than that, and so
on and so on, when do they get to have
their right to say, I can respect you, that that's
(01:00:04):
what you want to do, that's what you believe in,
all that stuff. But that being said, I don't feel comfortable,
and this will be a solid no for me. We
have somehow decided that the one person outshines everybody in
(01:00:24):
this and therefore gets to parade around with their ding
dong pretending to be a woman. I got some pushback
from some of you yesterday, but I got some people
out there by the way who are on the left
who feel the exact same way, and they just don't
want to say it because they're scared. And it's not
(01:00:49):
about taking away their rights. It's not about not saying
they exist, which is the dumbest thing in the world.
It's about having respect and saying, look, they feel uncomfortable.
So rather than have the many do something, why don't
(01:01:09):
you respect that you want respect, but you're not willing
to give it because you feel like you need to
be some sort of trailblazer.
Speaker 26 (01:01:19):
I want to make sure that there's no way that
there can be any exceptions or any waivers. Women are women,
and we have the right to private spaces.
Speaker 2 (01:01:28):
And let's not forget you're dealing with a group of
people who still can't identify what a woman is. Katie Couric, I'm.
Speaker 12 (01:01:36):
Just so disappointed that this Nancy Mace, a Republican from
South Carolina, is being so rude and I don't know,
just bigoted against Sarah McBride, who is a new congressperson
from the state of Delaware. I know Sarah. She is
the first openly transgender member of Congress. It just seems
(01:01:59):
nasty and mean and cruel because she is the only
member who is now forbidden to use the ladies room.
And it's just I don't know. People are just mean,
aren't they.
Speaker 2 (01:02:11):
Oh my god, people are just mean, aren't they? I mean,
how dare Nancy Mays have a feeling that she vocalizes
by the way, which a lot of women, even on
the left, agree with, but won't say anything because they're terrified.
Seth Moulton, who is a congressperson who has come out
and said, hey, look, the rest of America's over here.
(01:02:34):
So there's America and a vast majority of them are
over here saying yeah, you know what, you exist, and
you can believe your whatever. But yeah, got a weiener.
So no, we're not going to pretend that you don't.
And of course from his own party, he has gotten destroyed.
(01:02:57):
And it's not just about the bathrooms. It's about sports
as well, and we've talked a lot about that.
Speaker 27 (01:03:01):
My point is we need to have debates about these issues.
If you have that debate, let's start with the fact
that like, transgender people do exist. Right, We're talking about
transgender women on women's sports teams, for example, and we
ought to be able to say, like, should there be restrictions.
The Olympics has restrictions, right, So why is it, as
you say, impossible for Democrats even talk. Well, look, because
(01:03:24):
we have become a party that focus so long on tolerance.
We've become intolerant, intolerant of views that are not in
line with some sort of left wing democratic orthodoxy of
certain on litmus test issues. And so if you don't
need that litmus test, you're not even allowed to talk.
Speaker 2 (01:03:44):
And that's the problem. That's the issue. That's a huge
issue right there. That's a big issue if you can't talk,
because there are plenty of people out there that agree
with him on the left who are in public office
but are terrified to say anything out of fear of
retribution from social media and activists. And you know, if
(01:04:11):
there is one, there is two when it comes to this,
then there is three. And then the power of numbers grows.
And that election set it all. And again, it's not
about oh, you don't exist. Trans people don't exist. They exist.
I can see you right there. That being said, your rights.
(01:04:36):
We don't want to unpete on them. These ladies over
here have rights. And by the way, how about from
the opposite side, we never hear about that, though, do
we We never hear about a woman transitioning to a
man and going playing in man sports and dominating, And
we never hear about a guy going, Hey, this person
says he's a guy, but he's got a vagina. You
never hear about that. No, you really don't hear about that. Oh,
(01:05:01):
just chaos, man? How did we get here? How did
this insanity get here? All the simple we just stopped
being honest because everybody was told if you were honest
about certain things that you would hurt people's feelings. And
in doing so, we decided that feelings rose above facts,
(01:05:27):
and that facts no longer mattered, and that feelings and
your own truth overrode everything. So that's how we got
to the place that we're in now. And so wow, insane, insane. Indeed,
(01:05:48):
we'll have more on this bunch of other stuff coming up,
including do we have a boredom epidemic? I don't know, Dewey,
maybe we might have a boredom epidemic? What do we do?
What kind of mask do we wear for that? Ooh,
that's a great question, because you know, people like to
wear masks when it comes to epidemics. Three two three, five,
(01:06:11):
three eight, twenty four to twenty three at Chat Benson

Speaker 19 (01:07:24):
Irreverence, Like, yeah, so what it's the Chat Benson.
Speaker 23 (01:07:30):
Show so long ago. In Video is best known for
making processors for gaming computers, but it's the recent explosion
of artificial intelligence technology that made it a three and
a half trillion dollar tech giant. That's because those gaming
processors are also good at supporting energy hungry AI programs
from companies like open Ai, Google and Meta. Investors are
(01:07:52):
looking to the company's earnings as an indicator for how
popular in Video's new Blackwell chips are and as a
bellweather for the larger AI industry.
Speaker 2 (01:08:00):
Ooh, in Vidia, it's kind of been propping up a
lot of the tech sector and a lot of the
market itself. People look at tech and in particular AI
and where that's going, and you got to have the chips.
Most important is having the chips. Speaking of the world
(01:08:20):
of computers, is that a worm in your Apple?
Speaker 28 (01:08:24):
It's a stark warning from cybersecurity experts. Update your Apple
product operating systems right now because there is a security
flaw that may have been actively exploited. Apple has just
released what it's called a zero day patch. The flaw
was uncovered by Google's Threat Analysis group, which focuses on
countering targeted and government backtacking Apple without giving details. As
(01:08:45):
the issue may have been actively exploited, downloading the latest
update in your Apple Settings will fix the vulnerability. The
flaw was uncovered by Google's Threat Analysis group, which focuses
on countering targeted and government backtacking.
Speaker 2 (01:08:58):
The interesting thing about my buddy, who is a security
expert and he works with my uncle and I he
when he was going through college and doing all this stuff,
this is one of the things they did, you know,
is they focused on hacking and all of these things,
you know, malware and everything else. They said they did
very little with Apple. And I asked him why. He said,
(01:09:18):
because everything runs on through Microsoft and all this other stuff. Said,
Apple is more the creative side, and nobody's going let's
break into such and such and get this now personal information.
That's one thing is Apple's obviously everywhere. But when it
came to the business side of stuff, he said, there
was just very little focus on protecting Apple as far
(01:09:39):
as business went, because so many things don't run and
use Apple in the workspace. I was like, oh, I
get that, I get that. Are you bored, not with me,
just in life. We have an epidemic in this country
and dare I say globally with.
Speaker 29 (01:09:59):
Boor have you ever tried looking for something to watch
on TV only to find yourself scrolling and scrolling and
so you pick up your phone and start scrolling and scrolling,
and at the end of it all, you just feel
kind of bored. Well, according to a new study, you're
not alone. You may be experiencing part of an ongoing
boredom epidemic sweeping the globe. Recent data published and Communication
(01:10:21):
Psychology found that the amount of time people spend feeling
bored has increased significantly over the last fifteen years. One
experiment tracked one hundred thousand adolescents for nearly ten years.
In the US, the trend has been slowly climbing since
twenty eleven, with the issue being more pronounced among girls.
Speaker 2 (01:10:40):
Oh the girls sport. I'm so there. Like, I'll sit
down and I'll go through all the subscriptions. Oh do
I want to watch this? I't want to watch that?
Go through bad at that. Everybody does it. You'll spend
an hour and then watch nothing and then just return
to your phone. My god, it's so predictable, and.
Speaker 29 (01:11:04):
It's not just kids in America. Another study in China
showed a fourteen percent increase in boredom levels with college
students between twenty nine and twenty twenty. So what's causing this?
The study points to the abundance digital media in our
modern lives. Researchers believe social media and smartphones are creating
a paradox. On one hand, they provide constant stimulation, but
(01:11:27):
on the other this over stimulation sets the bar so
high that traditional lower energy activities like reading or even
face to face conversations can feel uninteresting.
Speaker 2 (01:11:39):
Hold on a second, I'm on, TikTok, what's that's kind
It's like it's so easy to do. Oh my god,
the attention span of a gnat anymore. And everything's got
to be fast and quick, and even if it's a minute,
like how many times you've scrolled something and somebody starts
explaining something to you, just like, just get to the
(01:12:02):
damn point.
Speaker 29 (01:12:03):
Studies have shown that frequent interruptions can decrease satisfaction and
the ability to engage in a task, and having a
smartphone nearby causes less attention in face to face social interactions.
So what's the solution. Experts suggest that embracing boredom might
actually be the key. The study ends with the quote,
(01:12:23):
in this digital age, learning to navigate mundane moments is
more critical than ever. So there's a book you've been
wanting to crack open for a while. Now, might be
the best time settle.
Speaker 2 (01:12:34):
Down with the book thing. Okay, maybe just sit there
and do nothing. Speaking of nothing, coming out a third hour,
we have a lot of something rather than nothing. If
you're miss any of the show, I say, shame on
you grabbed the podcast. It is the Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 1 (01:12:51):
This is the Chat Benson Show, the Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (01:13:20):
Do what I tell you to do or else, says
Donald Trump when it comes to his nominees, because you see,
if you don't, you run the risk and the wrath
of Maga the Donald and dare I say, elon musk what, Yeah,
(01:13:47):
it's a possibility because controversy is everywhere. When it comes
to his picks, the likes of Matt Gates, who you
guys know how I feel about Matt Gates, Pete hecsech heck,
that guy with the controversial tattoos and whatnot. Although he
has some issues as well. But if you don't get
(01:14:09):
with the program, you could pay the ultimate price in politics.
That's right, at the ultimate price. They would primary you.
And they said, if you don't get with the program,
not only will we primary you, we've got a guy
named Elon Musk who will finance the whole freaking thing.
Speaker 21 (01:14:30):
What.
Speaker 2 (01:14:31):
Yeah, they're serious about this, kids, They are absolutely serious
about getting their folks through.
Speaker 3 (01:14:37):
One senior Trump advisor told ABC News the message is, quote,
if you are on the wrong side of the vote,
you're buying yourself a primary. Trompos suggested if any of
his nominees are not confirmed, he would bypass the Senate
by appointing cabinet members of what Congress is in recess,
an idea some Republicans say is out of bounds.
Speaker 2 (01:14:58):
Out of bounds. Who are some of those Republican the
guy that's going to be running everything, it's one of them.
There are several people that are not thrilled by the choices,
and they're all about, hey, you know what, we'll play ball,
but we have some questions, and there's nothing wrong with that.
(01:15:19):
I've told you guys, how I feel about a couple
of them. You should absolutely make sure that these people
are above reproach, not according to the media, because they'll
never be. In fact, the only one that has gotten
kind of a pass has been Marco Rubilt, Little Marco.
(01:15:41):
Everybody else has been kind of hammered or ignored. There's
that too, Like you know, some people are like, I
don't wait, what nobody really cares?
Speaker 24 (01:15:50):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (01:15:51):
Tom tillis talking about recess appointments. I love recess.
Speaker 25 (01:15:56):
I hope President Trump does at least thirty three appointments.
You know why thirty three because Obama did thirty two.
So if anybody thinks of recess appointments or something new
and different, you need to kind of study just a
couple of administrations back. I want President Trump to consider
recess appoint a National Labor Relations Board member or a
(01:16:17):
CFPB member or some of these hyper partisan recess appointments.
Speaker 2 (01:16:23):
But there's a butt because while a lot of them
use recess, we are you back all the way back
to Fdr Truman. How many they did Reagan out of
his two hundred and fifty appointments, like two hundred and
thirty ended up being recess appointments. But there's a difference
between certain appointments that you get and certain positions in
(01:16:48):
the administration and cabinet they're a little bit different.
Speaker 25 (01:16:51):
But not for a cabinet level position. That should be
absolutely off the table. And quite honestly, any serious candidate
for cabinet level position I would have to I really
wonder if they would want it or be willing to
accept it under a recessing point. But his positions are
too important and carry too much weight internationally.
Speaker 24 (01:17:08):
You take a short gun.
Speaker 2 (01:17:10):
I agree, and there are some questions out there. Pete hegseeth,
I don't know what the deal is. And same thing
with Matt Gates. There's a lot of stuff surrounding Matt Gates,
and people have questions and take that away. There are
a lot of people that don't like Matt Gates. Trump
likes him because he's not part of the establishment. I
(01:17:30):
don't like him because I think he's kind of a douche. Different. Absolutely,
Trump likes him because he thinks he'll go in and
do my bidding period case close, and nobody can stop him.
And that's what I want. The Senate is different than Congress.
The Senate has more leeway. The Senate was built in
(01:17:52):
such a way as to not have to worry about
re election all the time. So the ebbs and flow
that you see with people who panic in Congress because
of the noise from the social media world that dies.
Senators have far more leeway to do things and to
(01:18:13):
approach things in a much more independent way than say
the likes of you know, certain Congress people. So I
we're gonna find out what it's like we really are
you know, I mean, are they going to stand up
to them? They're gonna give him a lot of recess appointments.
And one of the things about recess appointment is there's
(01:18:36):
already been I think a case if I'm correct, Alito
was part of it, and that the president can't and
this had nothing to do with Trump. Just point that out.
The everybody cannot make them essentially go on recess. So
he can appoint somebody. You can't order them away, so
you can do something. So we'll see Matt Gate's is
(01:18:59):
gonna be interesting, and no doubt about that. It's gonna
be an interesting thing, to say the least, to see
what happens. Is he a sacrificial lamb, as they say,
I don't know, I don't know if he is, I
don't know if he's being used as Look, I'm gonna
throw him out there. He's gonna piss everybody off. Everybody's
gonna get angry, right, and then maybe I can get
(01:19:20):
Pete Hegseth through, or I'll throw these two out there.
Everybody'll be angry. The two guys I really want, or
a gal whoever it is to do these things. When
we put them up, there'll be more apt to do
it through. You know, a regular situation where they sit
down to meet with all the senters. I don't know
any of those things. I don't think anybody does. Because
you could talk to two people with inside Trump's sphere
(01:19:43):
and they may give you two different answers. Because it's
it's really hard to tell. But the battle's gonna go
and it will be interesting as it battles along the way.
Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four twenty three
at Chad Benson Show, it's your Twitter, your Instagram and
all of the the other things. Meanwhile, look in the sky,
(01:20:03):
it's a flight with people arguing.
Speaker 10 (01:20:06):
He said, I need to get off this flight. I'm
getting off this flight, and he was going for the door,
and so I just grabbed the guy from from behind
and kept him from from pulling the thing on the door.
I mean, the guy who was like six thirty six four,
probably thirty years old. I could not have subdued him
by myself, but I could pull him back and keep
(01:20:29):
him from getting to that door.
Speaker 2 (01:20:31):
What the hell is going on in the skies? Is
it me since COVID that people have lost their blanking mind?
Who tries to rip the door? But which at one
point in time everybody needs to just go you do
that because you're not going to open that in flight.
You're not. It's never gonna happen. They're gonna be able
to rip it open. That would be just like, let's
(01:20:53):
just watch him see how long this goes. Let's just
see how long this can last before he eventually goes,
I'm done.
Speaker 10 (01:21:00):
You was saying, okay, you need to let me up.
I'm the cat, I'm the cat. And then he said
I want to talk to my therapist and everything's okay.
Can I go back to my seat?
Speaker 2 (01:21:11):
I think what he's saying there is he was not, well,
I'm the captain. No I am the captain. No, no,
you're not, You're a passenger.
Speaker 10 (01:21:19):
Less than a minute, there were about five guys that
were there and were rustling down to the ground.
Speaker 2 (01:21:25):
Duct taped his legs arms and legs wow and subdued him.
That's why I never worry about when we talk about
like planes being hijacked after nine to eleven, the passengers
will never allow that to happen again. They won't. I
(01:21:46):
worry again underneath the luggage and stuff. Absolutely worry about that.
That's far more concerning to me. But nobody's gonna People
are willing to go down with the plane at that
point in time, and they're willing to take the chance.
And they're also willing to beat someone's ass when given
the opportunity. If you've ever studied that, when given the
opportunity to kick someone when they're down, people will. They
(01:22:10):
absolutely will. Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four
to twenty three at Chad Benson shows your Twitter, let
me know what the deal is. Are you noticing that
the friendly skies are not so friendly anymore? I'm just
it just feels Is it just because we have cameras
everywhere now and we're finding this out more or was
it always like this? Because I've flown a thousands of
(01:22:30):
times and I can remember maybe one incident, and that
had to do with people that were just hammered before
they got on the plane. And it wasn't a violent incident.
They were just out of control on the plane. It's
an odd thing, man, it is. It just feels way
more bizarre. Now Better Help. This portion of the program
(01:22:53):
is brought to you by Better Help. So the people
could use a little help. I'll tell you about Better Help.
It is that time of the year. Grateful. What are
you grateful for? Somebody in your life who has helped

save ten percent go to betterhelp dot Com slash Benson.

Speaker 2 (01:24:13):

Speaker 30 (01:24:17):
Signed James Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Russia, Seram.
Speaker 2 (01:24:37):
What trup? That's why I was treading of the old
interwebs on this Thursday. Where do we start? How about
x Ellen de Generes, Portia Darosi.
Speaker 6 (01:24:52):
They moved.
Speaker 2 (01:24:55):
To Britain the UK, never to return. They say, never
to return. I don't know why. Something to do with
Trump Russia launches ICBM toot Nepro. It's pretty gnarly. Matt
Gates trending. Capitol Hills transgender bathroom policy. It stirs debate,
(01:25:21):
they say, stirring debate among people. Diddy more lawsuits flying
in not a shocker. Bitcoin Coachella. Thomas Soul trending as well.
The Great Thomas Soul finally sat over to Yahoo Really quick.
(01:25:46):
CMA Awards, Pete Hegseith Rush, Ukraine, War, Ohio State, Buckeyees,
Coachella One Direction. So finally, yesterday the funeral for Liam
took place, and then we wrap it up over at Google.
(01:26:08):
CMA Awards George straight Ellen, DeGeneres, Coachella, Chris Stapleton also
part of the CMA Awards One Direction, Brooks and Dunn,
Jelly Roll, McDonald's Grinch, Happy Meal USA trending. What they
(01:26:34):
got a happy meal? Princh, I probably need that as
an adult. Why wouldn't I want something like that? There's
some of the things trending on the old interwebs on
this beautiful Thursday. Coachella is interesting. So let's take a
look at Coachella. See what we got here? So they
announced it yesterday. Are you ready for this? So Friday,
(01:26:59):
April seventh and eighteenth, So if you know how it works,
it's back to back weekends. Lineups are the same Friday,
Saturday and Sunday for those weekends. Here we go headlining Friday,
the eleventh of April and the eighteenth. Lady Gaga, you
(01:27:19):
got Missy Elliott, Prodigy Mustard, Oh good, you got Mustard
Go Gos.
Speaker 6 (01:27:29):
I like that.
Speaker 2 (01:27:30):
Of all the ones in this one, I think I
like the Go Gos. I'd go see the Go Gos.
I'd see Prodigy as well. Missy Elliott might be fun. Now. Saturday,
April twelfth and nineteenth, here we go Green Day, Charlie XCX, Misfits.
(01:27:52):
I'm looking to see if there's anybody else that I
would even want to see. No, No, No, And finally, Sunday.
Sunday's the day. So this is the thirteenth and twentieth
Post Malone headlining Megan the stallion Z. Craft Work's gonna
(01:28:13):
be there. Oh, craft work. If you've ever thought to yourself,
if only there were computer programmers that also made music,
but while they're doing it, they're coding, that's craft work.
Tie Dollar signed the Circle Jerks. Oh I love the
Circle Jerks. I've seen the Circle Jerks and concert on
(01:28:34):
several occasions in my punk rock days three two, three, five, three, eight,
twenty four, twenty three at Chad Benson Show is your
Twitter tweet at as text to program?
Speaker 6 (01:28:42):
You know.
Speaker 2 (01:28:43):
One of the things about and I've ben to Coachella,
one of the things that's interesting is decide stages because
I always like to go say, who is here on
this stage? Over here playing on Friday midday? Are just
showing up? Who's here that next year is going to
(01:29:07):
be on that big stage because you will find those
people and it's crazy cool three two, three, five, three, eight,
twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson Show's your
Twitter tweet at as text the program Nancy Mace, what
do you have to say about that?
Speaker 31 (01:29:24):
The end of the day, there has to be a
line in the sand.
Speaker 26 (01:29:26):
You can't allow penises in women's locker rooms.
Speaker 2 (01:29:30):
I agree, you don't want that to happen because next thing,
you know, it's just uncomfortable for everybody. And the battle
that is the transgender bathroom bill. It's about dignity for all,
it is. But where's the common sense? That's all I
ask people. That's it. I heard from several of you yesterday.
(01:29:54):
Some of you were like very pissed because I do
have people who listen on the left and their anger was,
you're being transphobic.
Speaker 21 (01:30:06):
I'm not.
Speaker 2 (01:30:07):
It's not. It's not about being trans. Anything you can
support and say, look, go live your life, do your thing.
That's the libertarian to me. But these people over here, women, men,
whatever side it is that somebody's transitioned to. If they
feel uncomfortable, don't they have a say in all of this?
And somewhere along the line, we've decided to take common
(01:30:27):
sense out of everything we do, which is a shame.
Three two three five, twenty four, twenty three at Chat
Benson Show's your Twitter if youre listening to the show,
Crad the podcast it is the Chad Benson Show, Son Chad.
Speaker 13 (01:30:45):
Benson, Joe.
Speaker 1 (01:31:06):
The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 5 (01:31:12):
And estimated sixty million viewers logged onto Netflix to watch
YouTuber re turn boxer Jake Paul beat up former heavyweight
champion Mike Tyson. Instead, says Ronald Blue Denton of Hillsborough County, Florida,
they were subjected to broken access, streaming glitches, and buffering issues.
He's filed a class action lawsuit against Netflix, demanding unspecified damages.
Speaker 2 (01:31:32):
Okay, what are you gonna get? Like it happened to
me too? Why would I want to sue? I already
had Netflix now if you've got it, just for that
at six ninety nine, We're gonna make them pay because
they you should be pissed about the fight not the glitches.
You should be thankful about the glitches.
Speaker 1 (01:31:55):
Man.
Speaker 2 (01:31:55):
Have you seen some of the slow mos of the
fight where it's like Jake Paul would throw a punch
and his chin would be right there and men Mike
would start to swing and he'd be like, You're like,
this is this is an exhibition. Boys, the largest gate
outside of Las Vegas money wise. I think each of
(01:32:18):
them got like nineteen million for the game. I mean
they walked away with about forty million. I mean, that's
a good day's work for They went eight rounds?
Speaker 25 (01:32:26):
Is that what it was?
Speaker 2 (01:32:27):
Eight two minute rounds? Sixteen minutes? Chat, it's not about
the fight. You make your money in between the fights,
when you're getting fit and you're working out and blah
blah blah. I get it. I get it. That being said,
I could have probably gone sixteen minutes. No more than
(01:32:49):
that though, and I can only shadowbox, but I would
have done it with the world watching. Just want to
let you guys know that. Speaking of fun, did you
guys know that there's an issue going on in the
Capitol at the Hill having to do with wieners and vaginas.
(01:33:10):
That's right, kids, it's not over yet. Nancy Mace is
standing firm. No penis is here.
Speaker 15 (01:33:17):
The end of the day.
Speaker 2 (01:33:18):
There has to be a line in the sand.
Speaker 26 (01:33:19):
You can't allow penises in women's locker rooms, men can't
watch women change clothes like that's just never going to
be a thing. And women have rights. At what point
do men's rights trample on women's rights. They don't, they can't,
they never will as long as I'm here standing in
the way.
Speaker 2 (01:33:36):
One of the things that she's right about the trans
rights stomping on women's rights. Everybody wants their rights. Everybody
wants to feel comfortable, and they have a right to
feel comfortable. And this whole thing from one side is
it's mean. You're mean, you're a mean, you're a bully,
(01:34:02):
you're all of the things. That's just you're just a meaning.
This is what we're doing.
Speaker 31 (01:34:08):
This is the lesson that you've drawn from the election.
This is your priority. As you want to bully a
member of Congress as opposed to welcoming her to join
this body so that all of us can work together.
Speaker 2 (01:34:21):
This is what we're doing. That right there is Hakem. Jeffries.
Speaker 16 (01:34:27):
He is the.
Speaker 2 (01:34:30):
Head of the Democrats in the House. This is what
you're doing. You're bully. You're bullying. You're bully. This is
what you're doing. You're bullying. No, she feels uncomfortable, So
this is bigger than her. You're talking about this as
if there wasn't an election and the most powerful ad
(01:34:54):
that maybe Trump had was the issue of trance. She's
for they them, I'm for you. Remember.
Speaker 12 (01:35:02):
I'm just so disappointed that this Nancy Mace, a Republican
from South Carolina, is being so rude and I don't know,
just figoted against Sarah McBride, who is a new congressperson
from the state of Delaware.
Speaker 2 (01:35:18):
I know Sarah.
Speaker 12 (01:35:20):
She is the first openly transgender member of Congress. It
just seems nasty and mean and cruel because she is
the only member who is now forbidden to use the
lady's room. And it's just shy. I don't know. People
are just mean, aren't they?
Speaker 2 (01:35:37):
Is she the only member? Katie Kirk? So if I
went there with my pen ie, if you will, would
I be allowed to use the ladies room? I would not.
She has her own bathroom, and I know what people
are saying. That is in her office. It is elsewhere
she would have to leave the building, okay and two credit.
(01:36:01):
Sarah McBride, who is the person in question, got zero problems,
said I'll use the lady's room, not here to cause
hell and havoc and whatever it's had some other words.
Speaker 32 (01:36:12):
The party that was focused on culture wars, the party
that was focused on trans people was the Republican Party.
It was Donald Trump. It was one hundred million, two
hundred million dollars that they spent on television ads. I
do not believe from what I've seen in Delaware, the
voters in my state were responding to those attacks. What
I was hearing was that the American dream is increasingly
(01:36:33):
unaffordable and inaccessible. What I was hearing was that we
need to guarantee affordable health care, housing, and childcare for
every person in this state and in this country. That's
what I was hearing. I didn't run on my identity,
but my identity was not a secret.
Speaker 2 (01:36:46):
But it was not about you and your identity in
an area where you know democrats can dominate. No, no, no,
it was about the rest of the country. This isn't
about you, per se.
Speaker 32 (01:36:58):
When a politician tries to take an issue that impacts
a handful of people, and a handful of states and
turn it into the most important issue in an election.
Everyone has to ask why. And the answer to that
question is that Donald Trump was trying to divide and
distract from the fact that he has absolutely no policy
(01:37:18):
solutions for the issues that are actually keeping voters up
at night. And I think we have to be crystal
clear as we move forward that we are going to
call out the hypocrisy of Donald Trump of disingenuously claiming
that he is a fighter for working people.
Speaker 2 (01:37:34):
So that's what you say, Sarah McBride, This is a
fellow congress person who's a Democrat who has said, yeah,
it's the lefts fault because they're tolerant, have become intolerant.
Speaker 27 (01:37:43):
My point is we need to have debates about these issues.
Why aren't you if you have that debate, Let's start
with the fact that like, transgender people do exist, right,
We're talking about transgender women on women's sports teams, for example,
and we ought to be able to say, like, should
there be restrictions?
Speaker 2 (01:38:00):
The Olympics has restrictions, right, So.
Speaker 27 (01:38:02):
Why is it, as you say, impossible for Democrats even talk. Well, look,
because we have become a party that focused so long
on tolerance, we've become intolerant, intolerant of views that are
not in line with some sort of left wing democratic
orthodoxy of certain on litmus test issues. And so if
(01:38:23):
you don't meet that litmus test, you're not even allowed
to talk. And that's the problem. That's the issue.
Speaker 2 (01:38:29):
That right there is from a Democrat who came out
and said, look, my little girls shouldn't get run over
by boys who identify as girls. Not fair And how
did that play out? Well, toughs when the colleges said,
now you can't have any of our kids. You're intolerant.
(01:38:51):
All these articles are written about and people come out
and hammered him. Oh my god, what tolerant he is,
because he spoke not only his heart, but from what
he hears and sees from people across the country, not
in just the little sphere that people live in. And
those people say, look, you be you, We have no
problem with that. Don't push it on the kids. And
(01:39:15):
if you still have all your bits, she has a
right to feel uncomfortable and thinks that you should go
over there. Not crazy views, according to the American people.
And the American people spoke and they said no to insanity,
(01:39:36):
and it's not about Nancy Mace. It's a bigger issue
than her, no matter how hard they try to make it.

Speaker 2 (01:41:26):
Five million dollars for the banana here it is only
it's somebodies. These are words.
Speaker 6 (01:41:31):
I never thought I'd say five million dollars for a banana.
Speaker 2 (01:41:35):
Five million dollars for a banana? That wait, wait what
five you said five million for a Is it a
gold banana? Is it made of diamonds? It's art fair warning.
Speaker 8 (01:41:48):
At five million, two hundred thousand dollars, Jen the Catsalan
is yours, congratulations.
Speaker 33 (01:41:55):
Thank you very much to Day.
Speaker 2 (01:41:56):
That's right, So do you remember the banana? Twenty nineteen
Marizzio Catalan, he's a provocateur, comedian. He bought a banana
for thirty five cents. Duct taped it and that became art.
It sold. The total was six point two million, four
times higher than the presale estimates, which was four times
(01:42:21):
higher than any human being should ever pay for a
freaking banana. The guy who bought it Chinese cryptocurrency entrepreneur
Justin Sun. He outbid six other rivals to get the
comedian's installation of the Italian Visual Art on Wednesday. Sure
he's bought it, you say, said he bought it.
Speaker 10 (01:42:37):
He did.
Speaker 2 (01:42:38):
Now what's he gonna do with it? He said, In
the coming days, I will personally eat the banana as
part of the unique artistic experience. What the installation, which
has traveled around the world, comes with instructions on how
to replace the banana whenever it rots. In fact, the
fruit has been eaten, not once, but twice.
Speaker 9 (01:42:58):
No way.
Speaker 25 (01:42:59):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (01:42:59):
The museum later placed a k new banana in the
same spot. Local media reported four years earlier, performance artists
pulled the banana from the wall after the artwork was
sold for one hundred and twenty thousand dollars in Basel
Art Gallery in Miami. It's funny. Justin Sun runs the
(01:43:20):
tron blockchain network, which facilitates some cryptocurrency transaction. Last year,
the US Securities and Exchange Commission accused him of fraud.
I believe this is how you wash money. That's what
you do with art kids. What's it worth? Whatever I'm
willing to pay for it, so I can wash this
(01:43:41):
money three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four to
twenty three at chat, Benson shows your Twitter tweet at
as text the program. You know, we talked about it earlier.
So last night Morganwallen went Entertainer of the Year CMAS
and the rise of Morgan Wallen was fast and then
the fall overnight. It'spent three years, remember the whole thing
with the N word, and he was banned from everywhere.
(01:44:02):
CMAS wouldn't even recognize him. So, you know, kind of
full circle. He made the comeback and I put out
there that I've been watching Armie Hammer. And if you
guys don't remember Armie Hammer, he was the guy who
big actor right starting the Lone Ranger. He was in Entourage,
he was in h you know, so many big movies
(01:44:26):
related to the family, the arm and Family Hammer. You know,
I mean, this is this guy who's kind of grown
up with it, and he was accused of a lot
of stuff, and it was it hit the fan quick
and so this was what, God, how many years it
wasn't that long ago. I mean the movies he was in.
(01:44:47):
Think about this. He was in Jay Edgar The Lone Ranger,
which really became Johnny Depp's movie The Man from Uncle
Call Me by Your Name. He wanted to Oh, he
got a Golden Globe nomination for that on the basis
of sex. And he was on Broadway, but then a
bunch of women came forward and said he was abusive,
(01:45:11):
and then out came the cannibal stuff. So he went
from all of the things. I mean, his great grandfather
was Armand Hammer, his great grandmother was baroness Olga Venerut.
Victor Hammer was this great grand uncle. I mean, this
guy's come from it all and now he's got nothing,
(01:45:36):
and he's trying to build his life back up after
a fall, I mean a fall that saw him essentially
have nothing like regular jobs. He was selling time shares
as well as being a manager at an apartment complex.
(01:45:56):
So think about that. All the stuff from the Red Carpets,
hanging out with Johnny Depp, not just hanging out starring
in the movie The movie's called The Lone Ranger. You're
the Lone Ranger. It was a crappy movie, and I said, well,
I want to talk to him. Several of you are
like that would be interesting, and he's journeying, you know,
trying to make it back, and he has had several
(01:46:19):
of his friends it stuck by him, including Tom Arnold
on the show. One of the things he allows people
to do is you asked me a.
Speaker 33 (01:46:24):
Question, and I want to ask you if you have
any questions for me? Yeah, nothing off of yes.
Speaker 13 (01:46:31):
What was it like, hit the fan?
Speaker 2 (01:46:33):
The agency drop you?
Speaker 9 (01:46:34):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:46:35):
Was that a phone call?
Speaker 25 (01:46:36):
What was that like? Oo?
Speaker 33 (01:46:38):
Okay, So I remember when it hit the fan. I
got a call from my agent and my publicist. First
there were you know, crisis PR people that got involved.
You know, at one point there was like three different
crisis PR people that were involved, and like that, you're
paying these people to handle this crisis. And very quickly
I was like, these people have no idea what they're
(01:46:59):
talking about. Each person had a different idea of what
needed to happen, but they were each completely convinced that
it was the only way. So my lawyer at the time,
he was like you need to shove this up. So
all of these people were saying, you got to do this,
card to this part of this, and my lawyer came
and said, if you do anything, you can go to jail.
And I was like, I'm listening to it.
Speaker 2 (01:47:18):
That's yeah, I'd listen to the guy that says you
might go to jail. But everybody wants to know about it.
The cannibalism, the cannibal stuff. It's always my favorite. Why cannibal?
Why did that you?
Speaker 10 (01:47:32):
They have to keep escalating. Yeah, I'm not gonna lie.
Speaker 33 (01:47:34):
I kind of like the cannibals.
Speaker 2 (01:47:35):
No, I'm just like, there's a lot of cannibals are smiling.
Speaker 33 (01:47:39):
What makes more noise? Armie Hammer is a cannibal or
Army Hammer might not be a cannibal.
Speaker 2 (01:47:46):
We know which one makes more of a noise. By
the way, he was never charged with anything. He wasn't.
There were allegations LAPD looked into it, but I mean
he's and he was on with Bill Maher on Club
Random and he said he's he's got nothing. He's like
Virtue has nothing, and I just thought, you know what,
I reach out to him, said, I'd love to talk
to you. I find the whole thing fascinating and trying
(01:48:08):
to watch somebody build themselves back up. I think a
lot of people have been down and getting back up
is the most important thing. Can you do it? And
he's been to the heights that ninety nine point nine
nine nine percent of people, even in Hollywood, will never
be at. And he's had a depth that very few
(01:48:28):
people will ever be at. Because you probably aren't going
to be accused of cannibalism. Ew yeah, very very true.
We don't want to leave you in a sad note,
and I hope he does come on, but every day
we like to make sure that we leave you with
a smile and somebody who's also been at the heights
and the depths. But he now has nothing but wisdom
for all of us. You know what time it is, baby,
(01:48:51):
and no, it's time for the Gary Pucy moment of
the day, the good.
Speaker 10 (01:48:58):
News event being a sin as you can inspire yourself
with your freedom and your love for life, and life
is love for.
Speaker 2 (01:49:06):
You that's used you to do because it takes an effort.
Speaker 26 (01:49:11):
It's just you doing you.
Speaker 2 (01:49:13):
A little wisdom right there from Uncle Gerry crazy, Yeah,
but just because he's crazy doesn't mean he got it wrong.
Speaker 9 (01:49:20):
There.
Speaker 2 (01:49:20):
You guys have a blessed rest of your Thursday. I
see you Friday night, die Jack.
Speaker 1 (01:49:27):
This is the Chad Benson Show.
