Speaker 1 (00:11):
The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (00:13):
She was certified yesterday. It happened, certifiably awesome chat just
telling you guys, he was certified yesterday. If you guys
didn't hear Kamala, everybody's like she was so brave. She
did the job she was supposed to do. She lost
the election, she went up there and she did it.
Speaker 3 (00:32):
The votes for President of the United States are as follows.
Speaker 1 (00:36):
Donald J.
Speaker 3 (00:37):
Trump of the state of Florida has received three hundred
and twelve votes. Kamala d Harris. Kamala D Harris of
the state of California has received two hundred and twenty
(00:58):
six votes.
Speaker 2 (01:00):
Forbid bah blah blah blah blah, get over it. For
God's six it's over. It's done with. But I did
a live last night and we're gonna be doing them
every single day, and I said this, get over January sixth,
it's over. It's done with. I I didn't talk about
it for years because I don't care, because I never
(01:21):
worried about whether or not our government was gonna fall.
That was never It was an embarrassing black guy in America.
We move on with our lives. There were a vast
majority of people were ridiculously overcharged, and some of them
were idiots and got what they deserved. But that's in
(01:44):
the past. But they hang on this thing like it is.
I mean it is. I don't know what they're gonna
do without it. Case in point, Sonny Houston yesterday said
the most ridiculous thing. And look, she says ridiculous things
on the View every single day. That is their job
(02:07):
to say ridiculous things. But I want you to listen
to what she says on the View comparing January sixth
to certain dates and certain things that happened in our
and the Globe's history.
Speaker 4 (02:23):
I think we need to find moral clarity, you know,
in this country. And I just remember after January sixth,
you had someone like Mitch McConnell placing the blame on
January sixth where it belonged squarely on Donald Trump's shoulders.
And then you started seeing people backtrack that and losing
their moral center. You had Condoaliza Rice, I believe, on
(02:43):
this very show saying, you know, we need to move
on from January sixth. I say, no, you don't move on,
because January sixth was an atrocity. It was one of
the worst moments in American history. And when you think
about the worst moments in American history, you know, like
World War II, things that happened, you know, like the Holocaust,
(03:06):
chattel slavery. We need to never forget because past becomes
prologue if you forget any race.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
What the hell are you talking about? Okay, let's just
break this down. January sixth, Chattel slavery, really, really, really,
you talk about race all the time. You're going to
compare that day a day of asinine stupidity. You're going
(03:36):
to compare that to chattle slavery. Okay, Right, if that's
where you're going with it. World War two, you're gonna
compare that to World War two. You left out the
Civil War, the Revolutionary War. I mean, if we're gonna
get it, let's just get everything in, right. The Korea,
Vietnam not quite up to that level, right, January sixth
(03:57):
is above that. And the Holocaust. The Holocaust, I repeat,
she said, the Holocaust where groups who are true Nazis,
because they started the whole thing, people that were truly evil,
(04:19):
came up with something called the final solution in the
elimination of the Jews without a Eichmann and the likes
and a thumbs up from Hitler. You're going to compare
all of those things like this was just as bad
(04:40):
as you know, I don't know the Holocaust. Excuse me.
There are six million Jews. Would beg to differ on that,
six million Jews who were sent to Berkanau and Auschwitz
and eliminated systematically, six million of them, not to mention another.
(05:06):
God knows how many people that were disabled, mentally, handicapped, Gypsies, gays.
We can go on and on, but you're going to
compare it to that. You're insane, you are, and you
live for this thing. The want to hate him so
(05:29):
bad is so great that you think to yourself, this
is what I'm going to compare it to. Oh, my lord, delusional,
speaking of delusional joy read hey guys, it's joy.
Speaker 5 (05:45):
So a lot of you guys have been asking on
the socials what my ear rings are? Yes, they are fabulous,
Yeah they are. They are elephant ear rings. And the
elephant is significant.
Speaker 6 (05:55):
For a couple of reasons.
Speaker 5 (05:56):
Of course, delta sigma they just already incorporated simply is
the elephan. But the significance of me wearing them today
is that elephants never forget. And today is January sixth,
twenty twenty five, four years since the January sixth insurrection.
And we Americans who actually care about democracy and the
(06:18):
real peaceful transfer of power, you know, not whups and insurrections.
We will never forget. That is the significance of the
earrings today. Have a great day.
Speaker 7 (06:29):
Peace.
Speaker 2 (06:31):
They live for this insanity. We can never forget. Never really,
and that's the whole thing. To never forget Israel to Jews,
never forget what took place now, insanity of it all.
What are you going to do? I don't know. Next
(06:52):
January sixth are going to mark the day, the solemn day,
and all those people did the deadliest day in human history.
It wasn't one person died, by the way, Ashley Babbitt,
one of the insurrection is, by the way, how many
people were charged with insurrection? Anyone can we get a
ruling on that? How many people were charged with insurrection
(07:17):
on January sixth? All right, your final answers are in.
(07:38):
You said twelve hundred, ooh, you're just a bit off.
What about you liberal nut? You said fifteen thousand, oh no, no, no.
The answer we were looking for what is zero?
Speaker 6 (07:56):
What wit?
Speaker 1 (07:58):
What?
Speaker 2 (07:58):
Yeah? What is zero? How can that be? Now, I'm
not here to defend anybody's actions on that day, not
because some people went overboard. If you went into somebody's office,
if you threatened somebody, if you fought with the police,
if you did damage, if you went and did something ridiculous, hey,
(08:18):
that's a you problem. Period case close, end of story.
Whatever you got, you got. If you were walking through
the Capitol taking pictures, staying inside the velvet line, you
should have got a misdemeanor fine and moved on with
our lives. But it was the deadliest day in the
history of mankind. Chad, it was not. It was not
(08:40):
time to move on. Now Trump will be sworn in
sooner rather than later, unless, of course, this psychic is right.
Speaker 8 (08:47):
So that just happened. Congress just certified the election of
Donald Trump as president. That was hard to watch. Not
a single person objected. One of the first things I
did after the Congressional meeting ended was go and check
what the creators that I get my information from. One
of the accounts that I follow spirituality with Sam posted
(09:10):
a video about how her opinions about how Donald Trump
won't take office again. Haven't changed. Sam is a psychic,
and for weeks now she has been saying that Donald
Trump will not be president again.
Speaker 2 (09:24):
Wow, Sam is a psychic. I mean, so you know this,
So Sam knows right like Sam knows all tell us more.
Speaker 8 (09:32):
Sam is a psychic, and for weeks now she has
been saying that Donald Trump will not be president again.
And she just reaffirmed it this morning, saying that she's
not backpedaling. She still stands firm on that. And I
realized that the opinions of someone who says that they're
a psychic may not hold as much weight with some
other people. And I understand that, But what can I say?
(09:55):
I'm choosing to have some faith in it?
Speaker 2 (09:57):
Okay, what we would?
Speaker 9 (10:00):
You?
Speaker 2 (10:00):
The best? Oh my? If thirteen days more of delusion
and then well then reality sets itself in on you
kitchen right now? Groundel Oh my goodness me. I love
crazy though. That's fun just watching yesterday though, just the
hilarity of it all. And several of you texted me
(10:22):
you were mad at me? How could you? I'm not
defending people's actions. I'm just saying calling it the deadliest
day like ever, comparing it to the Holocaust. Is a
bit much dramatic much, yes, yes, often as much as
I possibly can three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four,
(10:43):
twenty three act She had Menson show, should twitter your
Instagram's cold out there? Beware it's cold out there. Yesterday
I had to walk to work in the snow. If
you'd have told me a year ago that I'd be
walking to work in the snow, I would have said,
I do not believe you, sir, but it is and
I'll do it again if I have to. So this,
(11:04):
I'll tell you what this cold snap is kicking people riding. Yes,
So if you're out there and you're in the midst
of the cold snap, be careful, stay home if you can,
and avoid the black ice. Right. Little tips from us
that we give to you every single day because we
love you. Speaking of psychics, we could use Sam here.
Prize picks baby, playoffs are here? Playoffs Yeah. Now I
(11:25):
play football with prize picks because I love it. I

Coming up a lot of stuff to get to today,
(12:51):
so much stuff. We're gonna have fun doing it. I
promise you that, because you see January seventh is Tuesday,
Chad Bens a.
Speaker 1 (12:58):
Joe Chad Benson.
Speaker 6 (13:10):
Before the annual trade show known as CES even kicked off,
companies were already announcing new gadgets. LG showed off a
TV that uses AI to sharpen images, and Bosh has
even made a smart crib that it says can detect
when your baby needs a diaper change. Mobility also expected
to be a major theme this year, says Gary Shapiro,
(13:31):
CEO of the Consumer Technology Association.
Speaker 10 (13:34):
Not only cars, but you see boats, and you see
things that fly you around or electric scooters.
Speaker 2 (13:39):
Who all kinds of stuff. Paul A Monar Tech Experts
going to be on He's actually out there representing the
show at CES. We're going to talk to him tomorrow
about all the cool stuff. And part of the cool stuff,
right is like you know, the big companies, and the
big companies are all there and they're all doing their thing,
and they're rolling out their new stuff, and it's a
trade like any other trade show. But the real thing
(14:03):
about CS that matters, the real thing is kind of
like going to Lollapaloosa or any of these big things, right, Lollapalousa, Coachella.
You go and there's the big stage, right, and that's
you know, the big bands are playing there, but the
side stage, the little one, which one of those new
(14:25):
and upcoming artists are going to be on the big
stage next year. That's what CES is all about.
Speaker 6 (14:31):
The annual trade show is often more of a place
for startups to have a breakout moment, and there are
plenty of them, says Gary Shapiro, CEO of the Consumer
Technology Association.
Speaker 10 (14:41):
So we have an area called Eureka Park. They'll be
over eleven hundred small startups.
Speaker 6 (14:46):
And a major focus this year AI.
Speaker 10 (14:48):
Obviously, generative artificial intelligence would be the big deal of
the show. I think about half the exhibits will be
talking about that.
Speaker 3 (14:56):
And.
Speaker 2 (14:58):
This year with AI, it's going to be about actual application,
how do you use it on a day to day basis? Right,
That's that's what people are trying to focus on. Think
about Eureka Park. That is cool is Mark Cuban is
there and the Shark Tank people are going to be
there auditioning the latest folks to have the chance to
(15:21):
come and pitch the Shark Tank folks. I don't think
it's fair that Mark Cuban's there because he's gonna have
a chance to get in on some of those people early.
You don't want to go on Shark Tank. Hey, come
with me all right? Three two, three, five, three eight,
twenty four, twenty three at Chad Benson Show, is your Twitter,
your Instagram, Chad Benson Show TV on YouTube and check
(15:41):
us out. We got the TikTok as well right here
on the Chad Benson Show. But that's what CS is.
You know, all the other stuff is cool, it's neat
you go see, but that's the place where the stuff
you see today will be out six months or a
year from now. And you're like, I remember when it
(16:04):
didn't look like this, But I remember when. Meanwhile, evil kids.
Speaker 11 (16:09):
Police say teenagers inspired by a scheme on TikTok are
luring victims through dating apps to then frame them as
sexual predators, all to mimic the TV show To Catch
a Predator. The latest case in Massachusetts, where five students
at Assumption University face kidnapping charges. Authorities say one of
the teens used Tinder to lure a twenty two year
old man to campus, then led him to a lounge
(16:30):
where nearly thirty students ambushed him, accusing him of being
a sexual predator. The group allegedly tried to stop him
from leaving, chasing him to his car and assaulting him with.
Speaker 2 (16:39):
A car door. That is awful. There's several other incidents
like that. They're also blackmailing them, try to get money.
It is a not a good thing. And again it's TikTok, TikTok.
You can go two ways with TikTok, right like we're
just talking about it. You can go we got to
ban it because of the Chinese stealing all of our data,
(17:00):
or on the other side of it, we got to
get rid of it because it just has horrible trends
that kids start to do that end up being well
awful three two, three, four three at Chad Benson show.
It's your Twitter, your Instagram, all of the other things.
A lot of stuff to get today. It's a busy
day with real news supposed to the crazy, hyperbolic lunacy
(17:25):
of politics. We're going to talk about the dock workers.
That's right, they got their raise, but they're fighting the
evil that is automation. We'll talk about that bunch of
other stuff. It is the Chad.
Speaker 12 (17:36):
Benson Show, Son, Chad Benson shoe.
Speaker 1 (18:00):
The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (18:03):
Or Kamala Harris.
Speaker 13 (18:03):
Because she's Vice president and President of the Senate, she
had to give the official sign off on Trump's win,
which that is cruel and unusual. I mean, this is
like it's like making your ex dj your wedding to
your new Harris made it clear she was following the
oath she'd taken as vice president and ensuring the peaceful
transfer of power to the next administration. You notice how
(18:25):
uneventful it was today. The Democrats lost, and they accepted
they lost. There were no vegan baristas scaling the Capitol walls.
No one was wearing animal horns, no one was in
face paint calling himself the blue and on Shaman.
Speaker 1 (18:40):
Did someone call the.
Speaker 2 (18:45):
Oh by the way I've interviewed, I've interviewed Jacob Chansley
on several occasions, the Jewanon Shaman, and uh, yeah, he's
been out there. I'm gonna lie to you. Do I
think he was in gonna take over the nation? I
do not. I don't. I think he got swept up
in something and it happened long before he got there.
And much like many people that we've talked about lately
(19:08):
who've had mental issues, I'll be honest with you, I
think whatever cult would have came for him, he probably
would have jumped at and it was the QAnon cult
and he jumped all over it. Ah, Chad, you shouldn't
say that. I being honest people, right, you guys like that,
some of you get mad. I understand. I am not
the show for affirmation. Information is what we like to
(19:30):
talk about here. I give you the information, I give
my take on it, then you decide what you want
to do from there. It's that simple, Okay. It's what
we do. It's what we're about, and we like to
have fun doing it. By the way, we've got now
it's time for the chat. Action news weather reports. When
(19:52):
weather Weather's we weather the storm. That's right, when weather weathers,
we weather the storm, and the storm is mighty.
Speaker 11 (20:00):
At least nine debts are now blamed on the winter
storm that slammed much of the country. Federal offices and
schools are closed again today. In Washington, d C. We're
up to a foot of snow was expected up to
eight inches in parts of Virginia, Conditions getting worse overnight
as temperatures plunge. The storm's impact stretches fifteen hundred miles
from the plains to the east coast.
Speaker 2 (20:21):
It is massive. Yesterday, I told you guys, I walked
to work in the snow, walked to work in the snow.
I took my dogs out. So we don't have real dogs.
They're little dogs. It's my wife dogs. They're tiny and
not real, those fake little dogs. We've got a cat.
He kicks ass. He's awesome, right, and little dogs. I
love our little dogs, but they're not like. We don't
have mastiffs or anything like that. So they have little coats,
(20:46):
and you got to put their little coats on because
it's like today right now, it's like seventeen. So they'll
have to go out a little bit. Because we're in an
apartment now, so we have our old house. We're an apartment.
They look at me when we open the door to
go out to the garage area and then walk across
the parking lot to get to our little area where
they can do their business and run around for a
little bit's little like side kind of easement that they've
(21:09):
turned into a dog park. The look on their face though,
when that winter weather hits them, because they're like telling me,
every day, I am a hot weather dog. But as
long as they got their coats on, they're fine. But
it is cold out there.
Speaker 9 (21:24):
We're in the middle of downtown Cincinnati, normally bustling on
a Monday, but right now it is a ghost town,
blanketed under nearly a foot of snow, Streets blocked off,
just impassable right now as plows focus on the main roads.
Speaker 2 (21:37):
First, first of all, let's just settle down. When you
say normally it's bustling here in Cincinnati, I don't know
how bustling it is in Cincinnati, but Cincinnati is one
of those places where you're like, oh, yeah, that's offee,
that's always cold. It just looks cold. That just always
looks cold because it is, especially this time of year.
But it's cold throughout the southeast and the east coast,
(22:01):
and a vast majority of the the you know, the
middle of the country and it's going to continue to
be cold for the next couple of days. There's gonna
be some big snow. One of the things we talked
about yesterday neighbors. Know your neighbors, Help your neighbors.
Speaker 14 (22:16):
Just snow blowing my neighbors out. You know, it's snow.
You know, five six feet from the road. I blew
their driveways out for him. Help them out. You know,
everybody works together around here.
Speaker 2 (22:27):
Amen, that's what you should be doing. And also check
on those neighbors that you're not quite sure about, maybe
a little elderly, long in the tooth, maybe they got
a few issues that you know. It's a good thing
to do. And we remind everybody here cold kills far
more than heat does. Three two, three, five, three eight,
twenty four, twenty three. Atch you had bens to show,
(22:48):
show Twitter, your Instagram, all of the other things. Trump
coming into office, it's going to have some issues not
here to b su. The reality is, and I'm not
talking about the potential terror attacks. I'm talk of immigrations,
talking about the battle that's going on with certain things,
one being yesterday Joe Biden and drilling. If you didn't
(23:11):
hear clamp down on drilling in particular out in certain
areas of the water, that is not a good thing
when you consider the fact that we need to be
far more energy independent and Trump wants to drill, baby drill.
We talked about it yesterday, several of you text me,
and he said Trump can overdo this easy with an
(23:31):
executive action, just like that was I said, it's not
an executive action.
Speaker 15 (23:37):
What I think is really interesting about this move from
President Biden, and clearly part of why we saw such
a big reaction from the Trump team was the specific
mechanism he used, Section twelve A specifically of the Outer
Continental Shelf Lands Act. It's an authority that's only been
used a handful of times by presidents, and it's an
authority that lets them take parts of federal waters offline
(23:58):
for drilling. And the way the laws written, once they
make that decision, that's it.
Speaker 1 (24:02):
It's permanent.
Speaker 9 (24:03):
What.
Speaker 2 (24:04):
Yeah, it's permanent. So the thought process of some sort
of executive action that's going to be changed, it isn't.
It isn't going to happen, they would have to do
change the law in in itself. And even at that
point in time, I mean, you look at the division
we have, look at where we are when it comes
to how thin the margins are, and both the House
(24:24):
and the Senate, I don't foresee that happening. Yeah, that's
what he did yesterday, among other things that he's done
over the last several weeks and continues to do because well,
he is who he is, which is Joe Biden. And
on his way out, he's saying f you to everybody,
and I'm won't get mine and I can't blame the guy.
By the way, I'm not going to be one of
these guys to take over there, you know, no. Sorry.
(24:46):
A lot of this also is a flick up to
the powers that be when it came when it comes
to all of the nut jobs in the Democratic Party
who stabbed him in the back because they had to,
but the way they handled it was crap. And I
(25:07):
think a lot of stuff that he's doing this obviously
towards Trump, but a lot of the other stuff absolutely
a swing at the at the Democrats. And I got
no problem with the Trump's other big issue that he
may be facing and this is something that isn't being
talked about because people are going to say, wait, what
(25:29):
I thought they fixed that? Go back to October dock
workers on strike. You guys remember that. Well, guess what
what they got done was a temporary deal. They still
do not have a deal, and on the fifteenth they
may bounce again.
Speaker 16 (25:45):
Pad of US supply chains hangs in the balance to
kick off twenty twenty five. Contract talks restart Tuesday for
the International Longshoreman's Association, which represents dock workers up and
down the East Coast, and the United States Maritime Alliance,
repping their employers.
Speaker 6 (26:00):
Two sides don't come to terms.
Speaker 16 (26:01):
By January fifteenth, more than forty five thousand DOC workers
could hit the picket line again. The docs are months
in the making after the two sides ended a short
lived three day strike back in October. At the time,
the longshore workers agreed to a sixty two percent pay
raise over the next six years. The wage issue is
resolved for the time being, which means automation will be
(26:21):
the focus of these discussions.
Speaker 2 (26:24):
And that is what it's about. Automation. They don't want automation.
They don't want any of that stuff near them because
it takes away jobs. Okay, that's understandable. My question is
how efficient are you? When I hear we're losing jobs,
what I don't hear is how efficient you are, because
when you guys find out how out inefficient our ports are,
(26:48):
it is mind blowing. Yeah.
Speaker 17 (26:51):
I think that the dilemma that we have is at
the longshore, and they've always been a strong union, and
so they realize that if you automate, you're going to
take away their jobs.
Speaker 16 (27:00):
Or workers have called for a total ban on automation.
The issue is so contentious the ISLA reportedly walked out
of negotiations back in November because the Maritime Alliance was
quote pushing automation and semi automation language in its master
contract proposals that will eliminate ILA jobs.
Speaker 7 (27:18):
They want to go automation, they want more money. Now
get rid of these man We don't need them no more.
It's a big change going on. I've been fighting automation
for years. They destroyed LA. They put a fully automated
term out the merc line. Eight hundred long shormen lost
their jobs. If it was up to them, they would
(27:39):
like to see everybody lose their jobs.
Speaker 2 (27:42):
Oh, let's dagg it, you guess. We always talk about
him living that beautiful home, driving around this Bentley or
as Roller talking about you know, I took care of that.
Let's talk about the ports in Los Angeles and Long Beach,
which is what he's talking about. The most inefficient ports
in America? Are those up until they decided we got
(28:04):
to automate. We have to come into you know, a century.
How about we moved to at least the twentieth century. Well,
it's be the twenty first, but how about the twentieth centric,
because that's how far behind we are. It's embarrassing.
Speaker 16 (28:17):
Despite these concerns, employers have promised no jobs would be
cut due to automation.
Speaker 17 (28:22):
Now, this is kind of the conundrum that we're in.
You know, ideally we should be automating to streamline operations,
to be able to move things in and out. But
unfortunately automation does come at a price from a job standpoint,
and there will be less jobs on the ports if
you automate, and so this is kind of the sticking point.
Speaker 16 (28:37):
The Union has found an ally and President elect Donald Trump,
who met with leadership in December and shared his pro
labor views. I've studied automation and know just about everything
there is to know about it, Trump wrote on truth
Social in December. The amount of money saved is nowhere
near the distress, hurt, and harm it causes for American
workers in this case are longshoreman.
Speaker 2 (28:58):
Now here's where we can I'm into this because this
could be an issue for Trump, there's no doubt. But
while those are jobs and we don't want people to
lose their jobs, we as consumers want to be able
to get our stuff cheap as we possibly can and
(29:19):
as fast as we possibly can. That's what we want,
and so it's that weird situation where we're the consumer.
I'm not a long shortman. I understand that you'd be
pissed and angry if you lost your job. That being said,
I work in an industry and many of you do,
who automation and everything else has come in and changed it.
(29:41):
You still want to act like it's you know, the
eighteen hundreds and you got the horse and the buggy
and you're pissed that somebody rolled by with the combustible engine,
and you're like, no, that's not the future. This electricity,
this is never gonna work back to oil fat. Sorry,
it's not.
Speaker 16 (30:00):
Supply chain expert Patrick Penfield told US in September the
US is woefully behind when it comes to automating its ports,
and global rankings have the busiest US ports ranked near
the bottom of the pack. When it comes to efficiency,
there's not a single US port and SMP global rankings
top fifty.
Speaker 17 (30:17):
Sadly, the United States has some of the worst ports
in regards to automation. You could even consider some of
our ports as good as the thurible country's ports just
because there's not a lot of automation there.
Speaker 2 (30:28):
Yeah, Third World, think about that. United States of America
some of the busiest ports on the planet, most important
ports in many cases, and we are inefficient because we
want to live like it's the eighteen hundred. You damn
conbustable engine.
Speaker 16 (30:45):
If the longshore workers do strike again, the backlog at
ports will quickly build. Eventually, that backlog would have a
ripple effect throughout industries and ultimately American's wallets.
Speaker 17 (30:56):
So you'll see again congestion, so rates will whop. You're
going to see issues with food because you know there's
a lot of food that goes through the East coast ports.
So in order to get that food, you're going to
have to air it in, and so if you air
anything these days, it's going to cost a lot more money.
And so that's kind of what you'll see, is you'll
see prices go up. At first, you'll start to see stuff,
(31:17):
there'll be some availability issues where you won't see as
much food as you do, like bananas and seafood, and
then eventually, you know, the food retailers will bring that
stuff in via air and then you'll start to see
significant price increases.
Speaker 16 (31:29):
Again. The deadline to avoid this calamity is January fifteenth,
just five days before Trump's inauguration.
Speaker 2 (31:35):
Yeah, they're not going to give up on making sure
that automation doesn't come. We have to be more efficient.
It's not personal. If you do not adapt, you will die.
Opportunities will come out of this, but you've got to
learn to adapt, and we as a nation and as
a port shouldn't suffer because you want to live like
it's the eighteen hundreds, three, two, three, five, three, eight,
(31:55):
twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson Show, with
your Twitter tweet at is text that program Rough Greens
we're talking about our animals earlier. So there's melgreens and
rough Greens. What's the difference. Once for cat, once for
a dog. Currently, we have both cats and dogs at
our domicile. Our cat gets Meogreens and it's awesome. As
kitten and her dogs hit rough Grease, they love it.
(32:17):
Rough Greens. It's vitamins, minerals, probiotics make a three to
six nine, all this incredible stuff that is amazing for them,
keeps them healthy, keeps them healthy, and it really helps
with their digestive track, their skin, their fur. Mealgreens has
so many amazing things. Is again, these are powder supplance,
they're not food. You just sprinkle us on top of
their food and you watch what happens. It's helped our
cats with their allergies, their skins, their fur. You will

absolutely love what it does for your animal. Now, I

Speaker 19 (33:23):
On Monday, President Biden and the First Lady were in
New Orleans meeting with grieving families, attending a prayer service,
and visiting the memorial.
Speaker 20 (33:32):
I'm directing my team to make every resource available to federal,
state and local law enforcement to complete this investigation quickly
and do whatever else we can.
Speaker 19 (33:44):
President approving the Mayor's request to raise the security designation
from Marty Grant to the highest level, the same level
as the.
Speaker 2 (33:52):
Super Bowl, which I understand. I mean, remember when we've
talked about the difference between ISIS and al Qaeda, because
the thought is that there are both ISIS and al
Qaeda here working together. Al Qaeda is interested in hitting
America by that Americana, the super Bowl, very Americana. ISIS
(34:17):
wants numbers, they want body counts. They don't care about
what the event is. So you're going to have to
go big and strong for a lot of big events. Unfortunately,
maybe for good and this guy again snuck by everybody
because we're still trying to figure out because because why
we don't know. My thought is is because of how
(34:39):
fast he decided to essentially do this, even though he
went to Cairo and Ontario and maybe he was radicalized,
and that's the places he went and he met with people.
But how fast this thing went from essentially zero to
hundred over the last month and a half of his life,
and how his family and friends were saying he was
acting erratic makes me think that he was far more
(35:01):
lone wolf than people realize.
Speaker 19 (35:03):
Surveillance video shows the suspect placing a pair of coolers
at the scene ahead of the attack, where he appears
to be on his cell phone before looking up to wave.
Inside those coolers, law enforcements say they found steel pipes
surrounded by two dozen rolls of nails and a radio
controlled receiver. Authorities also discovering jars of flammable liquid inside
(35:25):
the white Ford f one point fifty he used to
barrel into those Bourbon street crowds.
Speaker 2 (35:30):
Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four twenty three
at Chad Benson Show is your Twitter? Tweet at his
text the program right here in the Chad Benson Show. Awful.
It could have been so much worse. And I've talked
about this. Three point fifteen is not twelve fifteen in
New Orleans on New Year's Eve, And when you look
at the crowd while still busy, it was sparse comparatively
(35:52):
to what it could have been at twelve fifteen. So
thank god that it wasn't twelve fifteen. But on top
of that, had he pulled off the bombs, how much
worse could this have been? And he is but one
person who I may be wrong, I don't think was
highly trained. And the question still remains how many more
are out there? And that is something that this administration
(36:15):
has failed on and the next administration better damn get
it right. If you're missing the show, grab the podcast.
It is the Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 18 (36:22):
This is the Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (36:51):
What is going on with Mark Zuckerberg? He wants to
be a UFC fighter? He does. Dana White's going to
be on the board at Meta and today a shift
to free speech suse me?
Speaker 21 (37:05):
Hey, everyone, I want to talk about something important today
because it's time to get back to our roots around
free expression on Facebook and Instagram. I started building social
media to give people a voice. I gave a speech
at Georgetown five years ago about the importance of protecting
free expression, and I still believe this today. But a
lot has happened over the last several years. There's been
(37:26):
widespread debate about potential harms from online content. Governments and
legacy media have pushed to censor more and more. A
lot of this is clearly political, but there's also a
lot of legitimately bad stuff out there. Drugs, terrorism, child exploitation.
These are things that we take very seriously and I
want to make sure that we handle responsibly. So we
(37:47):
built a lot of complex systems to moderate content. But
the problem with complex systems is they make mistakes. Even
if they accidentally censor just one percent of posts, that's
millions of people. And we've reached a point where it's
just too many mistakes in too much censorship. The recent
elections also feel like a cultural tipping point towards once
again prioritizing speech. So we're going to get back to
(38:09):
our roots and focus on reducing mistakes, simplifying our policies,
and restoring free expression on our platforms.
Speaker 2 (38:17):
Wow, I'm going to say something that not a lot
of other people are going to say, but I'm going
to say it because that's who I am. I don't
ever think he was a super lefty. I think he's
more of a libertarian. Quite frankly, I think he's more
of a business person. I don't think he's a big
fan of politics across the board. I think he got
blamed big time for twenty sixteen and Trump's election with
(38:38):
Cambridge Analytics. I think he panicked and felt he had
to do something based on a business decision more than
anything else. And now he looks out there and he
sees Elon and others and he feels there's cover. They're
all giving money now to Trump for his inauguration. This
is the right thing to do, and he'd recognizes, look,
there's bad things out there. Yeah, those bad things have
(39:00):
nothing to do with free speech. Right, terrorism, child trafficking,
that's not free speech. And I'm glad that he's taken this.
I think he feels their safety and numbers now, and
there's enough companies out there that are in a position
where they are donating to Trump's inauguration being seen with
(39:23):
Trump those kind of things, and he's been slow walking
it for quite a while, but you know he's out
there saying it, and that's awesome.
Speaker 21 (39:31):
Fact checkers have just been too politically biased and have
destroyed more trust than they've created, especially in the US.
Speaker 2 (39:38):
Absolutely correct on that one. So what do you think
of apples? That are those apples? Kids? Well, a little
bit more on this coming up in a little bit,
but first it is now it's time for the chad
action news weather reports. When weather weather, it's we weather
the storm. That's right. You know that when weather weather's
(40:01):
we weather the storm. Throughout the country right now, they're
being absolutely obliterated by weather.
Speaker 22 (40:07):
That arctic blast will stretch across so much of the
eastern half of the country, from the Midwest all the
way to the deep South. We already have cold weather
advisories issued as far south as New Orleans, mobile Alabama,
all the way down to Orlando, Florida, where it will
feel like the twenties and thirties by tomorrow morning. This
prolonged cold weather event will continue for much of the week,
(40:27):
with windshields in the Midwest below zero in some spots,
and then of course in the Northeast we'll have those
single digit to teen windshield readings. As we head through Thursday, crazy.
Speaker 2 (40:39):
Uh cold, absolutely going to be colder in the next
couple days. Depending on where you are, it's going to
be even more of a bone chilling effect because of
the wind. Some of this stuff that is moving is
moving rather quickly. Others is just kind of sitting over areas.
But as we move towards later part of the week,
(41:01):
the southeast is gonna get rather chilly. But it's it's
the nation, baby.
Speaker 22 (41:06):
More than fifty million Americans from Kentucky to Washington d C.
Remain under winter storm mornings as a first major winter
storm of twenty twenty five barrels across the mid Atlantic
that will continue through this evening. Another batch of snow
could impact the Washington d C in Baltimore areas.
Speaker 2 (41:23):
Yeah, we don't care about you guys. That's not very
nice yet. So it's your weather update nationwide. Cold af
going to be cold the rest of the week. Now
Here in Nashville, we're sitting at like twenty six degrees
right now. And you always got to do what kids
always look for the feelds like mmm, look for the
(41:45):
fields like because that matters. What's it feel like, feels
like it's cold. Mm, because it is. Oh, indeed three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson
Show is here Twitter tweet at as text the program.
Speaking of cold, she had to make the announcement that
she lost yesterday. That was kind of cold.
Speaker 3 (42:03):
The votes for President of the United States are as follows.
Speaker 1 (42:07):
Donald J.
Speaker 3 (42:08):
Trump of the state of Florida has received three hundred
and twelve votes. Kamala d Harris Kamala de Harris of
(42:33):
the state of California has received two hundred and twenty
six votes.
Speaker 2 (42:38):
Wow, she's gone. Everybody's like, do you feel sad for
I mean, look, it sucks you lost. She recognizes that.
I mean, we're talking about the opportunity to be the
most powerful human being on the planet and you lost.
(43:02):
Some of that's on you, Some of that's on the
Democratic Party, but most of it is on things like
inflation and your boss, Joe Biden being awful at doing
things like governing, watching our borders, etc. Et cetera. That's
(43:22):
a big issue because you were saddled with a lot
of that and you were the borders are She wasn't,
but she was, but it was. She wasn't until it
wasn't popular, and then she wasn't. But what about all
the things with him being a Nazi and him going
to be a dictator in January sixth, Well comes to
find out most voters don't give her ats ask for orry.
How did Democrats not become background noise?
Speaker 23 (43:43):
Well, I think Democrats have to learn their lesson first,
which is that January sixth is an important day? Is
David stressed? I mean, it's a day that is etched
in our country's history. The problem and what Democrats have
to realize is that it doesn't move voters anymore. Voters
have somewhat of a short memory.
Speaker 14 (43:59):
Move voters.
Speaker 23 (44:00):
Is what Elissa talked about, the fact that you have
to be talking about lowering grocery prices, you have to
talk about the cost of living, you have to talk
about the things that every average American is talking about
at their kitchen table, and we lost focus of that.
January sixth is a day that if I were to
sit here and tell the list or anyone else that
I want to go out and injure one hundred and
forty police officers. I want to make sure that the
(44:21):
president of the United States is down at the mall,
threatening democracy. And then if Kamala Harris doesn't certify the elections,
I want her hum that would actually chill the backbone
of people that heard me say that.
Speaker 2 (44:34):
That is what we went through.
Speaker 23 (44:35):
That is a day in our history. But going forward,
Democrats have to be about the party of tomorrow. Donald
Trump is a very little man, as we just saw,
and his talking to Hugh Hewett about how difficult it is.
He's going to air those grievances, and that's fine, But
Democrats have to find some backbone and be a party
about tomorrow, not necessarily about January sixth.
Speaker 2 (44:55):
Bacari Sellers, ladies and gentlemen. Bacari Seller's right there. We
can't be about January sixth. But if I did what
Trump did on that day when he ordered the mob
to go and attack and kill the vice president, he
ordered the mob to storm the castle. Wait he didn't.
He said, march peacefully, but that's code word for attack.
(45:18):
Keep living in yesterday, all right, Keep doing that, keep
trying to chase the dragon of fear, and you're going
to continue to come up empty in the here and now.
And this is all they focused on yesterday, even today,
(45:40):
we still need to talk about it. It's still important
to talk about This is the most heinous thing that
has ever happened to our country. Nothing has ever been
more heinous. Ever, Hey guys, it's joy.
Speaker 6 (45:53):
So a lot of you.
Speaker 5 (45:54):
Guys have been asking on the socials what my earrings are?
They are fabulous, Yeah they are. They are elephant ear rings.
And the elephant is significant for a couple of reasons.
Of course, delta sigma theyas already incorporated. Simple is the elephant.
But the significance of me wearing them today is that
elephants never forget. And today is January sixth, twenty twenty five,
(46:19):
four years since the January sixth insurrection, and we Americans
who actually care about democracy and the real peaceful transfer
of power, you know, not whops and insurrections.
Speaker 2 (46:31):
We will never forget.
Speaker 5 (46:34):
That is the significance of the earrings today.
Speaker 2 (46:36):
Have a great day, peace, Democrats. Remind me of that
woman you dated, who, no matter what argument earin is
going to bring something up you did several years ago
that has nothing to do with now, and that she
remembers it a much different way like your mom. Well,
(46:57):
you remember that time you didn't clean your room. You're
like what wait, what, Like that's what they're about. Keep
doing what you're doing, Keep living in this way where
it is about a solemn day, a day that will
live in infamy. Keep doing those things, and you're going
(47:19):
to continue to get what you get. People don't care
about it. And by the way, ask most Republicans. They
hold Trump partially responsible for what took place on that day.
There's no doubt about that. But in November, the choice
was clear, Donald Trump or Kamala Harris. Leading up to it,
(47:39):
two assassination attempts Trump survived leading up to it, several
ridiculous cases against him. You guys did everything in your
power to make him a sympathetic figure, and you are
partially responsible for getting him elected. And while you focused
on all of that stuff, everybody else out there who
is struggling with things like paying their bills, watching immigration
(48:04):
run unfettered through their communities, seeing the rise of global conflicts,
you paid no attention to what they were worried about.
And they said, okay, well this is what we got
to do. Then three two, three, five, three, eight, twenty
four to twenty three at Chad Benson shows your Twitter
tweet at a tax to program. Speaking of world leaders,

Speaker 18 (49:49):
Come blood.
Speaker 24 (49:58):
True.
Speaker 2 (50:01):
Why are you playing that? Because yesterday it happens.
Speaker 25 (50:06):
Yes, and Trudeau I intend to resign as party leader,
as Prime minister after the party selects its next leader
through a robust, nationwide competitive process.
Speaker 2 (50:20):
Just on we would miss you. He's outs John Doe
chip By. Did Trump play a part in that?
Speaker 1 (50:31):
Now?
Speaker 2 (50:31):
He was probably the straw that broke the camel's back,
the Canadian camel's back. But the reality is justin Trudeau
had a lot of issues and hold on here, let's
there's more of this because it's just amazing, that's pretty awesome.
(51:03):
I'm gonna lie to you. He had a lot of issues. Immigration, inflation,
the insanity of which he put the people through when
it came to COVID. People had finally had enough and
you have to hit a certain critical mask of those
exhausted people in the middle and usually to the left
or right of wherever you are to get it to
(51:28):
the point where people say we've had enough.
Speaker 26 (51:30):
Like so many other countries, as we saw in the US,
there was rising inflation, a housing crisis in many major cities,
a cost of living crisis, and it was the establishments
who were getting bashed for that. Now they kind of
thrown into that mix has been Trump's reelection. Trump has
talked about imposing tariffs on goods, not just in Canada
(51:53):
against Canada, but also Mexico unless they do more to
deal with illegal immigration and the border.
Speaker 2 (51:59):
Christ So that played a huge part in it. I'm
telling you, guys, the inflation thing is a massive deal
because it's an everyday deal. But also, you've been in
charge since two thy what thirteen or fifteen, You've been
running the party. You've been president for prime minist for
nine years three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four
(52:20):
to twenty three at Chad Benson Show. Is your Twitter,
tweet ats text program right here on the Chad Benson
Show at some point in time, even in sports and
we I talked a bit about this yesterday. The speeches,
the things you used to do, they don't work anymore,
and people are tired of it, so they're ready to
(52:41):
move on. And a lot of that was based on
the way that you handle things, but also that inflation,
the immigration, the nightmare that people have gone through. They
want a new voice, and there is a conservative voice
out there. Canada, as we know, leans very left, but
they've had enough.
Speaker 27 (52:59):
First and foremost stop the overspending. Inflation, to high taxes, deficits,
high interest rates are all symptoms. The disease is over spending.
When governments spend too much money, there's only three ways
to get it. One is to raise your taxes. The
others two moro, which means that they'll tax you more
later on. And the third way is to print money.
(53:20):
The printing money seems like a painless way to pay
for things, but it's very simple. If you have ten
apples and ten dollars in the economy, it's a bucket apple.
You double the number of dollars in the economy to twenty,
you still only have ten apples. You're not twice as rich.
It's just that each apple costs twice as much.
Speaker 2 (53:38):
Yeah, and that guy's brilliant, so he is. His name
is Pierre Marcel Porviere and he is probably going to
be the next Prime Minister of Canada. Well, we'll see.
It's going to be very interesting. He's just a smart,
brilliant guy who's got a bit of Malay in him
and a bit of Trump in him and a bit
of that guy from Poland who we see everywhere, who's brilliant.
(54:02):
It is, Uh, it's gonna be very interesting. Our our
top hat and of course our fifty first state maybe
kind of three two, three, five, three, twenty four to
twenty three At Chad Benson Show, it's your Twitter. If
you're missing the show, share and grab the podcast Chat Benson.
Speaker 12 (54:15):
Jew Son, Chad Benson, Shoe The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (54:40):
Drop's got a big week ahead as he tries to
get everything dialed in thirteen days till he takes office.
Are they gonna try to put everything in one bill?
That's what I'm hearing. Good luck with that. I don't
know how that's gonna work. But immigration has got to
be top of mind. It is top of mind for
a lot of people. Earlier today, the one and only
(55:02):
Mark Zuckerberg of Meta is Named. Zuckerberg talked about some
of the things that they're changing, like the ridiculous restrictions
they've had on so many people, the biases those are out.
Speaker 21 (55:14):
We're going to simplify our content policies and get rid
of a bunch of restrictions on topics like immigration and
gender that are just out of touch with mainstream discourse.
Speaker 2 (55:24):
Ooh, mainstream discourse. Yes, because he's looking around at going
common sense people of which I serve far more than
the progressive insanity say that too many people being allowed
in the country unfettered access isn't good and deciding to
(55:44):
experiment on a seven year old you should have a
right to say, I think that's ridiculous. That's where the
mainstream of the folks are. Not everybody is. Mister Maher
had on. John Kriyer Ducky played a little bit yesterday,
and Bill tried to give John a few outs when
(56:04):
it came to politics, one of which was the conversation
about immigration.
Speaker 28 (56:09):
I think the whole country, even unless you're like stupid woke.
Speaker 2 (56:14):
I hope you're not.
Speaker 28 (56:15):
But you know its Hollywood somewhat stupidly want Okay, the
whole country was like, I mean, I think the biggest
issue for the election, one of the biggest ones was
Democrats pointlessly totally just punted on immigration and let anybody
who wanted to walk in for three and a half
years did well.
Speaker 29 (56:34):
I think they would probably disagree that people walking in
probably felt like it a little harder.
Speaker 28 (56:39):
No, no, actually, actually there's a great sixty minutes piece
on it where the water. I mean, you don't get
eight million people here by making it difficult. But there's
watch they just I mean, you see they're walking through
and that water. Guys are just watching them do it.
They're just watching them walk past. You never saw that.
I did not see that. See that doesn't get in
(56:59):
the liberal media. That's the problem is the bubbles we
live in.
Speaker 2 (57:03):
And I think what John Cryer was trying to say is, well,
it wasn't like they magically appeared in the walks across.
There was a long trek to get there. Okay, that's fine,
but once they got there, the hardest part was the
first part. Once they got there, getting in wasn't very hard.
And there is a race right now to get into
the country before the twentieth because there's caravans who are
(57:27):
coming as fast as possible.
Speaker 30 (57:29):
The caravan has just taken off from Topachula, Mexico, so
still traveling to Chiapolis, Mexico, and then just since October,
this is at least the tenth caravan to form and
depart from that top Pachula area.
Speaker 2 (57:41):
According to Mexican immigration.
Speaker 30 (57:42):
Authorities, they expect even more of these caravans to form
and depart in the coming days before President elect takes Obviously,
you're looking at some of that footage now, hundreds right
now making that long track north on foot the majority
of migrants in this caravan or Venezuela, and according to
my context, those migrants are headed towards that Juarez me
that's just right across the Opaso. But the chances of
(58:03):
that caravan actually reaching the US border with that slim
to none. With Mexican sipping up their own enforcement under
Operation Carousel, that's why we are seeing those smaller groups
still arrive to the US board.
Speaker 2 (58:14):
Mexico's trying to figure out what to do. Everybody's gonna
bluff and play a game of bluff, you know, because
they feel they have to play some hardball with Trump,
and Trump is gonna do, you know, kind of what
the car tells to right plat that Pluma Silver lead
what can we help you with, what can we do?
(58:36):
Don't let these people come on through. That was a rhyme,
because if if you do, then we're gonna have some
serious issues. So the race right now is to get
here as fast as possible, because everybody says, you know,
on the border, they're they're watching that clock tick tick
tick tiktick because they the minute he's sworn in and
(58:57):
stuff gets dead right away, it's it's your done. The
chances of getting in as drastically increased through the way
that it's been done for the last four years.
Speaker 30 (59:08):
Authorities in Mexico say that their shelters across the country
are starting to see an uptick of new arrivals. This
has prompted Mexican President Laudia Shinbaum to address the issue
of deportations with the incoming Trump administration. President Shinbaum making
a surprising reversal on a policy. She just said last
month that Mexico would push the United States to send
(59:29):
non Mexican deporties to their countries of origin. She has
completely reversed on that position and says that Mexico is
now open to accepting those four nationals. So an interesting development.
Another tablet that I got from my sources is that
Mexican immigration authorities are part of this kind of new
tactic to break up those caravans. They are issuing these
migrants twenty day humanitarian visas that would allow migrants to
(59:51):
legally travel through Mexico and reach the US border and
either enter illegally or at least give them a chance
to apply for an appointment on that CBP one app
And you're.
Speaker 2 (59:59):
Going to do every thing you can to get this country,
and you're not gonna be You just walked god knows
how far you've traveled for days, weeks, potentially months. You
have gotten here, and you're not gonna say, well, I
tried knocked on the door, nobody answered that's where the
land of Freedom and honey is, and well couldn't get in.
So you know, back I go, that ain't gonna happen.
(01:00:22):
You know that, And I know that this will be
a major win for the Trump administration.
Speaker 30 (01:00:25):
Now on the Mexican side, they haven't realed the exact
details on how they will take in those foreign nationals.
This comes as Mexico did open up twenty five new
shelters across the country to accept deported Mexican nationals, so
it's unclear if they will open up additional shelters for
foreign nationals. I did speak with an immigration attorney here
in the US who represents Venezuela nationals. He says this
(01:00:46):
new development he believes will lead to migrants actually self
deporting to the home countries to avoid the dangers of Mexican.
Speaker 31 (01:00:52):
These foreig nationals are going to find it more desirable
to be in their home country than it is to
be in Mexico, and they'll eventually go back to their
home country. And that's what we've seen in the past,
in the last Trump administration when they implemented the MPP program,
and so I don't doubt that that's going to happen again.
Speaker 2 (01:01:10):
Yeah, it is. You'd rather be miserable and broken your
own country than struggling broke in a foreign land where
people don't want you.
Speaker 30 (01:01:19):
And speaking of my sources in those Mexican border towns
like Tijuana and Mina Morris, they say expect migrants to
rush to the border. Some will try to enter illegally
before Trump takes office, and others will try to schedule
an appointment on that CBP one app migrants do fear
that that CBP one app will end on day one
of Trump taking.
Speaker 2 (01:01:35):
Office as it should. As it should, and we've got
to fix the asylum rule. Well, really, what we have
to do is we have to enforce the rule, because
remember the asylum rule works in not the way that
we've been using it, which is not using it at all.
(01:01:56):
Really you're supposed to. So let's just say you fled Afghanistan,
all right, So you fly over to somewhere in South
America and it is a safe harbor. You go, you
apply for asylum there, and then you have to wait there.
That's what you're supposed to do. The first country you
(01:02:18):
come to that is safe, that's where you apply for asylum,
and then you wait, not travel through twelve different countries
to get here because you know we're going to allow
you to come into the country. That is stupid. That's
catch and release at its finest, and that is going
to end. And this is not about being you know,
completely closed off to the world. This is about, first
(01:02:40):
and foremost, stopping the flow of God knows how many
people that have come to our country. Some of them
are legitimate, but a vast majority of them do not
meet the standards of asylum. They're here for financial gain.
We need to sort those people out. And then how
many many people have come here that want nothing to
(01:03:02):
do with America. They want to make a little money
and go home. We need to sort you out. How
many people are here who applied for asylum, got turned down, appealed,
got turned down again, then got an order to remove,
and then got turned down again on an appeal, and
you've got a final order and you're still here. We
(01:03:24):
got to get them. There's no reason to have a
court if we're not going to enforce laws. And then
the scariest part, the most important part of all. It's
not as much as you want to say it's the
trente Agua gangs or stuff like that. Those are bad.
We got to get them. Those are low hanging fruit.
It's the god Aways, the two million god Aways in
this country. We must do everything we can to find
(01:03:47):
and identify them, because there's no doubt there are people
here who've come from other places who want to not
only cause us damage, they want to do everything they
can to destroy the West, and they want to attack us,
and not in a one off situation, more coordinated event
there is no doubt in my mind that that is
(01:04:09):
a real thing, and we have to find out who
those god aways are. To me, others may say, now
I want this now, it's got to be that. It's
got to be because what we are facing. Potentially, if
Sarah Adams and several others who are out there echoing
the same thing, and common sense says, if it's half
of what they're saying it is, it blows away, for
(01:04:32):
lack of a better term, anything we saw in nine
to eleven. So that's got to be the utmost importance
in my mind. But you've got to stop it immediately
at the border. Think of it like a ship it's
taking on water. You don't try to bail the ship out.
You find the leak, you plug the leak, then you
(01:04:53):
deal with what's inside. Three two, three, five, three eight,
twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson's show, to Twitter,
your Instagram, all of the other things. Yesterday was January sixth,
the day that would live an infamy, a day that
is truly comparable four years ago, things like World War two.
Says one fool.
Speaker 4 (01:05:14):
I think we need to find moral clarity, you know,
in this country and I just remember after January sixth,
you had someone like Mitch McConnell placing the blame on
January sixth, where it belonged squarely on Donald Trump's shoulders.
And then you started seeing people backtrack that and losing
their moral center. You had Condoaliza Rice I believe, on
(01:05:34):
this very show saying, you know, we need to move
on from January sixth. I say, no, you don't move
on because January sixth was an atrocity. It was one
of the worst moments in American history.
Speaker 2 (01:05:45):
And when you think about the.
Speaker 4 (01:05:48):
Worst moments in American history, you know, like World War two,
things that happened, you know, like the Holocaust, chattel slavery,
we need never forget because past becomes prologue if.
Speaker 2 (01:06:03):
You forget any race nine to eleven wasn't mentioned chattel slavery,
So it's really as bad as chatto slavery. I bet
you if we could talk to people, they would probably
say no, no, no, World War two, no no. And
then you mentioned the Holocaust and the plan of the
(01:06:24):
person who started World War Two that subsequently led to
the death of over fifty million men and women that
included six million Jews being systematically eliminated. That is not
I repeat, that is not anything close to the Holocaust.
(01:06:51):
January six is not anything close to the Holocaust or
nine to eleven. Hell, it's not even as close as
that nutjob terrorist who killed fourteen people in Louisiana, in
New Orleans. It was a dark day. It was an
(01:07:12):
embarrassing day, but the solemn it's the worst thing that's
ever happened to us. You know, well, they were gonna
they were gonna have a coup Chad, and they were
gonna who who was the people that were at the
people who went to Tim Horton's and the waffle house,
(01:07:32):
who on the way there bought a bought a bought
a souvenir. We're going to storm the castle with no
guns and take everything over. That that's who was going
to do it. And our and our government, our our government,
the most mighty powerful military in the world, was not
going to get a phone call that maybe you should
step it up. There were idiots. You did your thing,
(01:07:58):
You got in trouble. Some of you you were overcharged.
You should have got a misdemeanor in a fine and
we move all with life. Some of you are ridiculous
and you got what you deserve. You're going into people's offices,
you're breaking things, you're smashing things, you were doing things.
(01:08:19):
But this thought that it was an insurrection and somehow
was just gonna be allowed to happen most seldom day
in history of mankind three two, three, five, three eight,
twenty four, twenty three at Chad Benson shows your Twitter

Speaker 1 (01:09:51):
Frinding with scissors sounds great compared to this.
Speaker 6 (01:09:54):
Same Before the annual trade show known as CEES even
kicked off companies, we're already announcing new gadgets. LG showed
off a TV that uses AI to sharpen images, and
Bosh has even made a smart crib that it says
can detect when your baby needs a diaper change. Mobility
also expected to be a major theme this year, says
(01:10:16):
Gary Shapiro, CEO of the Consumer Technology Association.
Speaker 10 (01:10:19):
Not only cars, but you see boats, and you see
things that fly you around or electric scooters.
Speaker 2 (01:10:25):
And health, lots of health stuff. Here's something else. When
you go to CES. If you've ever been to it,
it's awesome. It's not as cool as it used to
be when it comes to it's become a trade show.
But there's two buildings and two areas. One of the
areas is the place you want to go. This is
(01:10:45):
the place of things to be. Ooh, what does that mean?
So you go in there. These are the things that
are indevelopment. The prototypes regime may be some of the
only stuff that they have for them, but the goal
is to make it to the big leagues, and that's
where you want to go.
Speaker 6 (01:11:05):
The annual trade show is often more of a place
for startups to have a breakout moment, and there are
plenty of them, says Gary Shapiro, CEO of the Consumer
Technology Association.
Speaker 10 (01:11:15):
So we have an area called Eureka Park. They'll be
over eleven hundred small startups.
Speaker 6 (01:11:20):
And a major focus this year AI.
Speaker 10 (01:11:22):
Obviously, generative artificial intelligence would be the big deal of
the show. I think about half the exhibits will be
talking about that.
Speaker 2 (01:11:30):
Yeah, so you want to go there. And also when
you go there, Mark Cuban's gonna be walking around looking
at what could be the new hip as cool as
things that are out there, because Shark Tank's gonna be
doing some stuff out there. It's just cool. So if
you have a chance go check that out, I think
you will, really, really really I really like it because
it's a lot of fun and some of this stuff
is incredible. Tomorrow, Who're going to be talking to our guy,
(01:11:52):
our tech guy, Paul Lamone, who is going to be
out there doing what people do. He's selling wares, but
on top of that, he's looking at all the other stuff.
And we'll have a little bit from him tomorrow to
find out what's cool and what's not cool. Three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson
shows your Twitter tweet at his text program. I hear
the Chad Benson shill coming up third hour. Zuckerberg did
(01:12:21):
what the.
Speaker 21 (01:12:22):
Fact checkers have just been too politically biased and have
destroyed more trust than they've created, especially in the US.
Speaker 2 (01:12:28):
Yeah, kind of a bizarre Maya copa today. Why we'll
talk a little bit about that more on January sixth,
and most Infamous day. The weather is not very good
out there, so be prepared if you're going out today.
But you know that because you're not an idiot, and
you you know, look outside and not it looks kind
of cold. Talk a little bit about that as well
a bunch of other things to talk about. If you're
(01:12:52):
missing the show, grab the podcast. It is the Chad
Benson Show.
Speaker 18 (01:13:00):
This is the Chad Benson Show. The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (01:13:29):
You saw a live shot of the Capitol is still standing.
It's not for sure it's going to be gone, you know,
because January sixth, every January sixth, every four years, it's
a chance it could disappear.
Speaker 32 (01:13:42):
So, Joe, it should have been a boring process, but
all eyes were on the Capitol yesterday, especially given what
happened four years ago, and given the division in our
country that still exists about whether or not that was
a massive moment in history never happen again.
Speaker 10 (01:14:00):
Now.
Speaker 29 (01:14:01):
You see some of the numbers that came out in
polls yesterday about Republicans how they felt in January of
twenty one and how they feel now, And obviously Republicans
more less concerned about it today than they were immediately
after it happened. As far as those it said it
was okay. The numbers jumped in a gallop pulled from
like twenty one percent to thirty percent.
Speaker 2 (01:14:25):
Of those Republicans said it was okay.
Speaker 29 (01:14:27):
But you know, I've been talking about this a good bit,
and I just it's important that we keep talking about it,
we keep talking about the perspective of keeping everything.
Speaker 2 (01:14:42):
In proper perspective as far as what the election was, Okay,
settled down, Stop looking backwards. It's not going to help
you moving forward. It's pretty much all you got to say.
It's not gonna help you. Stop reliving and litigating January sixth,
(01:15:04):
over and over again again. That's not going to help you. Okay,
it's over, it's done with. Trump's going to be a president.
You're not going to stop it. Nobody's going to stop it.
What took place on that day was awful. It was horrible.
That being said, we're moving on, and I'm not even
trying to compare the insanity of what took place in
(01:15:26):
the Summer of Love. Well, all of us had to
stay inside, but everybody else got to run wild and free,
break a bunch of stuff, take a bunch of stuff,
kill some people, cost billions of dollars in damage. I'm
not even talking about that because you hear a lot
of people in my business compare it two separate issues,
(01:15:49):
two separate issues. That being said, it was not the
worst day in human history as some would like you
to think it was. It wasn't, but some people, oh
my god, they make it out of because there's never
been anything worse than the history of mankind. You're wrong.
(01:16:10):
There's plenty of things. And to compare it to things
like chattel slavery and the Holocaust, does a disservice to
chattel slavery and the Holocaust and how horrific it was
for those people just putting it out there. So very
(01:16:32):
interesting things going on in the world today, including this
guy named Mark Zuckerberg. You guys heard of Mark Zuckerberg.
Have you guys heard of this Facebook character Mark Zuckerberg.
Earlier today, the zuck came out and said, I'm done.
I'm done trying to be a gatekeeper. I'm done trying
to be a referee. I'm done with all this crap
(01:16:55):
post whatever the hell you want.
Speaker 21 (01:16:57):
Hey, everyone, I want to talk about something important today
because it's time to get back to our roots around
free expression on Facebook and Instagram. I started building social
media to give people a voice. I gave a speech
at Georgetown five years ago about the importance of protecting
free expression, and I still believe this today. But a
lot has happened over the last several years. There's been
(01:17:18):
widespread debate about potential harms from online content. Governments and
legacy media have pushed to censor more and more. A
lot of this is clearly political, but there's also a
lot of legitimately bad stuff out there. Drugs, terrorism, child exploitation.
These are things that we take very seriously and I
want to make sure that we handle responsibly. So we
(01:17:39):
built a lot of complex systems to moderate content. But
the problem with complex systems is they make mistakes. Even
if they accidentally censor just one percent of posts, that's
millions of people. And we've reached a point where it's
just too many mistakes and too much censorship. The recent
elections also feel like a cultural tipping point towards once
(01:18:00):
again prioritizing speech. So we're gonna get back to our
roots and focus on reducing mistakes, simplifying our policies, and
restoring free expression on our platforms.
Speaker 2 (01:18:11):
And I need some h one B visus if that
could happen to that'd be fantastic. Oh, I said it
last hour A few of ago. I never thought of
it that way. And some of you who just hate
Mark Zuckerberg do the usual thing, tell me I'm a
pos and whatever. I've never once thought Mark Zuckerberg was
a lefty or a righty. I don't think he really cares.
(01:18:35):
I think he's a business guy, and I think that
he got saddled with the blame in twenty sixteen along
with Cambridge Analytics. It wasn't Hillary again, all of these
it wasn't Hillary was it was the Russians, and it
was Cambridge, and it was Zuckerberg. And I think he he,
(01:18:55):
you know, felt some sort of responsibility even though he
didn't do anything. Who that's the point chat. He should
have been out there doing stuff, censoring people. And I
think he got absolutely panicked and worried about business. And
so what did he do. He did a onet eighty,
(01:19:17):
went the other direction, gave a bunch of money to
a bunch of people, didn't care where it went. Wanted.
That was like his I'm paying here, I'm paying the
price for it. Take it all. But he knew deep down.
I just don't think he cares, and I think, if
anything anymore, he's far more libertarian than anything else. You
(01:19:38):
could see that because what is it now, Dana White's
going to be on the board. He is, he is
going to be on the board of Meta. But there's
also safety in numbers, so zo He's plaining to my
Ifelo earlier today, it's the beauty of doing my show
out of the house. The big inauguration parties, those aren't
(01:20:00):
paid for by the taxpayer. They're paid for by donations.
Everybody now is giving donations people that you would thought
no way. Besos right, obviously, Elon go out there and
talk about Meta Apple their safety in numbers, and I
(01:20:22):
think that's another side of it. So he also and
this do not discount this. He loves the UFC. That's
why Daniel White's gonna be on the board. He loves UFC.
UFC is a lot of Trump voters. And I think,
(01:20:47):
like I said, he is, if anything, for a while
he was a little bit more of a business because
if you watch any of the if you've ever read
any books about if you ever watched that movie, dude
is cutthroat. He's a business dude. And I think that
(01:21:07):
the politics got in the way of the business. Then
he was getting blamed for stuff. And I just think
he's a bit of a libertarian. I think now he
shoes a little bit more right than anything. So there's
a lot to it. But yeah, you know, one of
the other things, that's do it work work business. That's
(01:21:29):
why Apple gave a million dollars last night. Bezos has
given a million dollars. That's why he does. Why they're
doing that, It's like they're walking into the mob boss
handing the money. And of course on the wedding day,
he can't say no to any request.
Speaker 6 (01:21:44):
The changes include moving the company's trust and safety team
from California to Texas in an effort to address the
concern that biased employees are over censoring content. According to
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, he also says his companies will
work with President Trump to push back against foreign governments
going after American companies to censor more.
Speaker 2 (01:22:05):
So we shall see. But he's pretty adamant. Like, hey,
stuff that was off the table before, you know, gender lunacy,
like you know, immigration, you can't talk about that or
any of that. That's that's off the table now, So
feel free to knock yourself out. That's that's where normal
people are. Oh my god, the world we live in, people,
(01:22:27):
the world we live in. Can you talk about gender?
Speaker 32 (01:22:32):
You?
Speaker 2 (01:22:32):
Can you talk about gender?
Speaker 5 (01:22:33):
Now?
Speaker 2 (01:22:33):
Feel free knock yourself out? Is anybody even on you know?
We always say that here in America. Is anybody even
on Facebook? Yeah? Like two and a half billion people
or whatever still on it. We still use it every
single day. My uncle post, so if you're offended, it's him.
The videos are mine, but the offensive post probably him.
(01:22:56):
I get that all the time. Whatever you put on
there was offensive. Like I don't even know because I
got hacked last year, if you guys remember, and in
being hacked, it hacked both my personal and the show page.
Well luckily we didn't have to worry about the show page.
(01:23:17):
That was easily taking care of. My other one still hacked.
And it was weird because I started getting emails and
text messages from friends going, dude, I'd like to buy
that Polaris. I'm like, what are you talking about, dude?
You know I don't own a Polaris. What well it said?
So I said, ah, man, I've been hacked and it's
been hell. I still can't get it back. That's the
nightmare that I'm still going through with them, and it
has been a nightmare. Maybe this will make it easier
(01:23:42):

it is cold af out there. I repeat, it.
Speaker 1 (01:23:52):
Is cold, cold, cold, so.
Speaker 2 (01:23:57):
You must must be careful. And we're not talking of
a little bit of cold. We're talking about a lot
oh bit of cold across parts of the country where
we're looking at below zero in some areas, places that
never get in and around forty are going to be
(01:24:19):
in the twenties, snow in places you never think you
see snow.
Speaker 11 (01:24:22):
At least nine deaths are now blamed on the winter
storm that slammed much of the country. Federal offices and
schools are closed again today in Washington, DC or up
to a foot of snow was expected up to eight
inches in parts of Virginia, Conditions getting worse overnight as
temperatures plunge. The storm's impact stretches fifteen hundred miles from
the plains to the east coast.
Speaker 2 (01:24:44):
And it's bringing with it not just the cold, it's
bringing with it severe weather and snow, So be prepared
out there today and make sure and I always say this,
we joke about, but make sure you check on that neighbor,
a person down the whole maybe that you don't you
know see very often, or somebody down the street that

you know, maybe they don't have a lot. It's just

but Fox Sports being sued by this woman who was
a makeup artist, I guess or a stylist. And she
said Skip Bayless offered her one point five million dollars

The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (01:31:19):
Something happened last night, something on Netflix that will change
Netflix forever. I'll just bring the game.
Speaker 33 (01:31:38):
It's as real as our ancient yearning, not merely for
a hero but the villain as well. Just as they
need each other, so.
Speaker 1 (01:31:51):
Do you need them.
Speaker 33 (01:31:54):
To tell a story. But what of the story of
wrestling itself? What if the canvas could speak of an
ageless carnival with primeval roots, but came of age with
that most American of institutions, television.
Speaker 2 (01:32:21):
That last night was the cold open to Netflix WWE
Monday Night. Ruh What. The only thing that these media
companies absolutely are fighting over anymore is live sports. They
don't care about anything else. It's great if we can
(01:32:41):
get you there comfort food. Maybe we've got several of
your favorite sitcoms and television shows that you watch all
the time, and maybe we'll create some fun stuff in between.
Some that may be groundbreaking. But for the most part,
we care about what live sports and w w E

Speaker 23 (01:33:27):

Speaker 2 (01:33:33):
If it wasn't for hul coming, we would not be
here tonight. Amen. That they rolled out the carpet last
night for Monday Night Raw for Netflix, I mean they
rolled it out big time. The rock Sina hul Cocain.
I don't watch rastling. My little brother is obsessed. My
(01:33:55):
old buddy, super best friend Gatos obsessed with wrastling, like
super obsessed with it. I am not. I mean as
a kid, I watch it, but you know whatever, they
need products that actually will bring eyeballs. It's just this
is where it's at. It's live sports. That's why Fuboo
(01:34:16):
and like, you know, is it Disney now or all.
I mean, everybody is trying to join together because live
sports it's the one thing we won't watch on replay.
Speaker 1 (01:34:27):
We just won't.
Speaker 2 (01:34:28):
If like I love sports, you guys know that. Listen
to the games the whole nine yards. I mean all
I mean, you guys know how much I love sports.
The minute the game's over, I'm done with it. And
if you tell me the score, I'm done with it.
I ain't gonna watch it. I'll watch the highlights of
the goals, or I'll watch the highlight here or there
(01:34:50):
the touchdown, but I am not going to live sports
gets eyeballs. This is what's crazy. We're gonna go over
the numbers, and the numbers, by the way, aren't massive.
So the Golden Globes it was great. You know, there
was definitely a tick up from last year of nine percent.
(01:35:11):
Do you want to know what dominated everything last year?
By the way of the one hundred top television shows,
seventy five were sports. Think about that, of the one
hundred top watched shows, seventy five were sports, and there
(01:35:33):
was a nice little jump. They got ten million in
the Golden Globes, just the biggest night of their year.
Vikings Lions thirty million viewers across Nbcpacock, NBC Sports and
the NFL digital platforms. That's why the battle to get
all of these is so important, including things like Raw.
Speaker 34 (01:35:53):
It was around this time last year when Netflix announced
it had reached an agreement with WWE worth more than
five billion, to stream Raw as well as other WWE
programming over the next ten years in the US and
other countries. Each company looking for this partnership to help
grow their respective businesses. Netflix, which boasts more than two
(01:36:14):
hundred and eighty three million paid memberships, is leaning more
and more into its live sports offerings, hoping that WWE
can suplex them into the next era by capitalizing on
the streamer's recent successes.
Speaker 2 (01:36:30):
And those successes have been huge, even though there were
some issues, especially with the Tyson fight and whatnot. It's
not just about the subscribers, which is important. It's about
the fact that you have something that nobody else can
see and you have something that you will not watch
later on down the road. Because the thing about sports
(01:36:52):
is enjoying it in the moment. The thing about sports
is coming in the next day, going digit do you
see that, Oh my god? Sharing the moment. You're watching
the Sopranos. You're not sharing the moment. You may talk
about it the next day, but you're not sharing the moment.
Speaker 32 (01:37:11):
This.
Speaker 2 (01:37:11):
You share the moment. And that's why live sports is
the king.
Speaker 34 (01:37:15):
In November, Netflix presented the boxing Spectacle between former heavyweight
champion Mike Tyson and YouTuber turned fighter Jake Paul. The
streaming giant says the event garnered sixty five million concurrent streams,
making it the most streamed sporting event ever. Then a
little over a month later, Netflix showcased its first NFL
(01:37:37):
games as part of a three year deal, a Christmas
Day doubleheader, with each game averaging thirty million global viewers.
Netflix says they were the most streamed NFL games in
US history.
Speaker 2 (01:37:49):
That's massive because you've then got a captured audience and
you're double dipping because not only do you have the
subscribers that are paying to make sure they get to
see those but you are also getting the ad revenue.
Speaker 34 (01:38:03):
And now after more than thirty years since its premiere episode,
WWE is taking Raw off cable TV and onto streaming.
One main reason is netflix global reach. According to research
firm Lightshed Partners, the sports entertainment series averages more than
one point seven million viewers in the US, and WWE
(01:38:24):
wants more.
Speaker 35 (01:38:25):
The future is incredibly bright, and now with the biggest
streaming service in the world as our partner, we become
bigger than we have ever been before. On January sixth,
it is not just the launch of Raw on Netflix,
(01:38:47):
it is a new launch of WWE worldwide.
Speaker 2 (01:38:53):
That is huge. The audience is massive. Think about I
don't know how many people watched it last night. We
can think about the global impact of it where people
are gonna be able to watch it and meet I
mean it is. It is so freaking smart. And that's
why they're fighting for the NFL. They're fighting for the NBA,
(01:39:13):
the NHL, the obviously the Premier League and all of
these they're all fighting for it. If Netflix has the
Premier League, then I've got no reason to have Peacock's
that's it. If Amazon gets the Premier League, the Amazon
what do I have Amazon Football for all the stuff,
but also they have Champions League because they have the
(01:39:34):
paraolt plus thing and all that. It's to go to
where it is and sports is that. I'm not doing
it for the movies because I like the buy stuff
cheap and obviously have it sent to me. That's great,
But when it comes to the entertainment value, no way
can anything beat to the live sports.
Speaker 34 (01:39:47):
The WWE has been holding more and more global premium
live events in the past year since becoming part of
TKO Holdings, a company which also includes the UFC. The
WWE is now look to tap even more into the
international market, something Netflix is very familiar with. Netflix says
the Tyson Paul boxing match was its number one title
(01:40:10):
in seventy eight different countries the week it aired, including Australia, India, Italy,
Mexico and the UK, and fans from two hundred and
eighteen countries and territories tuned in for at least one
of the NFL games, ranking them number one and two
on the global Top ten Christmas Week. But in the end,
it comes down to the product, the WWE stacking the
(01:40:33):
Netflix premiere as if it is one of its pillar
events like WrestleMania, and.
Speaker 2 (01:40:38):
That's the way it came out, all of them last night. Hold,
everybody was there, Sena the Rock. It's crazy. It was
like it was like the Oscars without all the fighting
outside of Will Smith. Obviously that was real, so let's
be serious.
Speaker 34 (01:40:54):
While viewers complained of glitches during the Tyson Paul match,
Netflix saw fewer completes during the NFL Games. Now the
streaming service will face a new challenge, not only successfully
streaming a three hour WWE show Monday, but repeating that
task every single Monday night of the year. Wrestling fans
new and old tuning in to watch WWE on Netflix
(01:41:16):
will be hoping they see a squared circle and not
a spinning Oneliquity did.
Speaker 2 (01:41:22):
A spinning wheel of death? Three two, three, five, three eight,
twenty four, twenty three e Chad Benzon shows or Twitter
tweet that is text the program. It's important, man. You're
if you're one of those companies that has the power
to go purchase things like right now, what I would
do is I would look for not the obscure sports,
(01:41:43):
the up and coming pickleball beyond my radar. I'd be
going to pick a ball TV saying you need to
come over here. Darts, which is growing big time globally,
is something i'd be on. I would get those kind
of things and package them all together. If you've never
seen a darts game, So Luke I think his name
(01:42:07):
is Luke Lier, he's seventeen. He just won the World
Dark Championship. But I've been to the World Dart like
place where they go. It's amazing, it really is. It's chaos.
You have no idea what darts is like. You're thinking
it's darts. It's in a club. No, no, it's not.
(01:42:28):
It's like an arena. It is crazy. And I'm telling you.
You go there and you know they got the big screen,
they got all this stuff, and you see the guy's
throwing and everybody's cheering and going crazy, and you're like,
this is darts one of the things right there, one
of the things, and darts is growing big time here.
(01:42:51):
It's now on that kind of pickleball trajectory. When is
Bolan making a comeback? It's what I want to know.
Every time I bowl the next day, I'm like, I
can't move my arm. Everybody goes bowling too. They go
I'm gonna take it serious. Then the first one they
try to do rolls right in the gutter, You're like,
(01:43:12):
screw it, I'm gonna throw a left handed three two, three, five,

Speaker 36 (01:44:40):
Show, Like, yeah, so what, it's the Chat Benson Show.
Speaker 21 (01:44:56):
Fact checkers have just been too politically biased and have
destroyed need more trust than they've created, especially in the US.
We're gonna simplify our content policies and get rid of
a bunch of restrictions on topics like immigration and gender
that are just out of touch with mainstream discourse.
Speaker 2 (01:45:11):
That right there is Mark Szugiberg who made a big
announcement today essentially, Yeah, we're getting the hell out of
the way. We're not here to be referees anymore. I
don't want to do that obviously, if you're trafficking children,
if there is large arm sels like you're trying to
be a hey, you know what, we're gonna come on here.
We're gonna sell a tank, you know, to a foreign
(01:45:32):
government that would like to kill America or anything else. Yeah,
that's not gonna happen. Right. Like the stuff that you say,
you know that shouldn't be on here, common sense says
that shouldn't be on here. Well, that stuff's still bad
and he recognizes that, and he said so. But the bias,
the politics of bs that has gone on for god
knows how long where we have not just seen it.
(01:45:54):
We felt it here on the Chad Benson Show. We
have felt it. We got suspended. I remember Anthony and
I posted something. Maybe it was Paul. We posted something.
It was Gretath Thunberg and it was a New York
Times headline and it was their photo. But the way
that the camera had taken the photo and we didn't
(01:46:15):
notice until we got suspended for it. It was one
of those little thin mics that had the itty bitty,
you know kind of thing that the price is right,
Bob Barker used to have had a little black, you know,
foam wind cover and it looked like she had the
Hitler mustache. Well, we didn't notice that. We just posted something.
(01:46:36):
We got suspended and it was ridiculous. But we've been
suspended on numerous occasions for stuff that wasn't a lie,
wasn't insane, it was just something that they deemed to
be evil and bad. And now he's coming out and saying, look,
there's no doubt that the biases are out there, and
they're moving their stuff from California to Texas. Their team.
(01:46:57):
They're going to try to, you know, open up a conversation,
whether it's about immigration or climate change or gender and
whether or not a seven year old should be you know,
experimented on where you're not going to be completely crushed
and worried. Are you going to shut me down for good?
Which is a damn good thing. It is absolutely needed,
and we'll see what happens again. I think that they're
(01:47:19):
safety in numbers. I said that earlier, and I think
he feels like he looks around and goes, okay, cool.
There are others out here who are my peers. You know,
the musks of the world and the Apple and whatnot,
and they're they're giving money to him, and they're signaling
that they want to work with him. Besos, I've got
to do the same. But I've said for a very
long time, I never once thought he was super progressive.
(01:47:41):
I never once thought he was even really that political.
If anything, kind of a libertarian. But he got caught
up in stuff and they blamed him for twenty sixteen.
Now I think he's like, screw it. I don't give
a rats ass. So alas we are here, good luck
to you, my good friend. We made it through January
(01:48:02):
sixth Guys, you guys, okay, because yesterday was a tough
day for a lot of people.
Speaker 37 (01:48:05):
So Congress just certified the election for Donald Trump. Democrats
did not object for fear of optics. Optics are more
important to them than democracy. So now we know, people,
we're on our own. It's up to us. No politician
is going to save us, no active god is going
to save us. We are going to save ourselves. Now,
(01:48:25):
you decide how you want to fight, what it looks
like for you. But the one thing you're not going
to do is obey. You will not comply to the
fascist agenda. Today they certified the death warrant of democracy,
and I for one am disgusted.
Speaker 2 (01:48:41):
Ah, it makes me smile my heart a little bit.
It's not very nice. Chad just put it out there.
Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four to twenty
three at Chad Benson Show. It's your Twitter, your Instagram,
all the other things right here on the Chad Benson Show,
