Speaker 1 (00:11):
The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
California is burdon in the next twenty four to thirty
six hours. Super important. What happens over the next twenty
four to thirty six hours when it comes to the wind,
because that's what matters the wind. At this point in time,
fighting the fires, you can only do so much. We
always talk about nature messing you up. But what takes

(00:35):
place for this army of firefighters when it comes to
the potential of the wind is huge.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
Emergency crews have transformed the Rose Bowl from a stadium
to a wildfire command center as they prepare for yet
another round of powerful winds, possibly fueling more fires in
southern California. High winds are forecast to hit again today
from central California to the next border. Tens of thousands
of people remain under mandatory evacuation orders. Another eighty four

(01:05):
thousand people under evacuation warnings have been warned be ready
to leave.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
Be ready, Get that bug out bag ready. That's important.
If you guys don't know what to bug out bag. Really,
it is a it's a grab bag, right, it's a
grab go bounce. You've got to have that ready. And
I think people are starting to pay attention to it.

Speaker 4 (01:26):
Commissioner of Emergency Management Zachary Iskyll tells me now is
the time to prepare for the next disaster.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
A little radio so you can get news and information.

Speaker 5 (01:36):
Assemble a so called go bag.

Speaker 4 (01:38):
Topping the list is goll says, grab your cell phones
and chargers.

Speaker 6 (01:43):
That's your line to your family and your friends and
to your support network.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
Documents, zip block bags are your best friend.

Speaker 4 (01:49):
The Commissioner recommends taking it one step further, making copies
of the papers to create a digital go bag.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
Very important. I did that and it is hell help
me because I had all my documents stolen and it
has been a nightmare still fighting to get some of
the documents I need. But I did have a digital
backup plan. Doesn't work perfect, but it's better than nothing.
And it's a grabbing go bag. It's not a bug

(02:22):
out bag. Bug out bags where you're like, look, here's
the deal. I'm going off grid. I got about twenty
five grand cash, I got a bunch of gold, I
got all the guns I need. I'm grabbing my gal
and we're bouncing totally different. That is a different thing,
different thing. So you're grabbing go it's not memories. By

(02:43):
the way, in the beauty of today's world, we can
kind of keep a lot of the memories because digital stuff.
But it's not about memories, not about some of those
other things. It's about what are the necessities should we
have to leave that I'm going to need for the
next forty eight to seventy two hours. Food, water, If
it's a global pandemic, if it's a zombie apocalypse, if

(03:04):
everybody in the nation is suffering it, food and water
is important. But food and water is not important at
this point in time, because there's plenty of places that
people are showing up and they're able to get all
the food and water they need. It's just about surviving
for the next forty eight to seventy two hours. Having
a plan too with your family. We're going to meet here.

(03:24):
This is how we're going to contact. It's just something.
It's a bag over there in a ten minute conversation
with the family.

Speaker 7 (03:30):
The next hours here are going to be absolutely critical,
very low humidity. The winds are going to come howling
down canyons, which is why fire officials have prepositioned.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
So many trucks.

Speaker 7 (03:42):
In all, about fifteen thousand firefighters in southern California right
now they are concerned that these winds could whip up
embers and ignite new fires.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
So next thirty six hours or so going to be
very very telling in how this goes for California and
the people in southern California. Yesterday, well all that was
going on, Pete Hegesaith was getting hammered by a bunch
of clowns. I gotta be honest, I watched a lot

(04:15):
of it. Normally I don't pay too much attention to
these because you know, you watch a little bit of
it and you move on. And the reason we always
talk about here, who's it for? If you're here and
you're sitting in the chair, we've got the votes. This
is just something we're going through. So it's about the

(04:38):
person asking the question, how can they grandstand? And it's
never about the person answering the questions the qualifications, because
that's used to be what it was all about. Are
you qualified to do this job? Are you an idiot?
Do you mouth breathe?

Speaker 8 (04:55):
Like?

Speaker 2 (04:55):
If you're on the Supreme Court, you have an understanding
of the law. You don't have to be a lawyer,
by the way, or a judge to be on Supreme
Court or a citizen by the way, one of the
weird ones. But it is all about the theater of
a doll. Would the great Fred Thompson, former senator an
actor say politics? It is the entertainment industry for ugly people.

(05:20):
That's kind of what it was. And yesterday nothing they
asked was really pertinent. It was grand standing. One oh one.
Let's start with Tim Kaine.

Speaker 9 (05:33):
Can you so casually cheat on a second wife and
cheat on the mother of a child who had been
born two months before? And you tell us you were
completely cleared? So how is that a complete clear Senator?

Speaker 10 (05:44):
Her child's name is Gwendolen Hope Hegseth and she's a
child of God and she's seven years old and she
was and you cheated on the mother of that child
less than two months after that daughter was born, didn't you?

Speaker 11 (05:55):
Those were false charges?

Speaker 10 (05:57):
Well no, Julie investigated and I was completely cleared.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
Again, who's that for? Who's that for? Tim? What does
that have to do with you running the Pentagon? Now
this one is like a minute ten, I'm playing the
whole thing. Maisie Hrano, who is from hoy wants to
talk about Pete and the rumors and accusations of him

(06:26):
having a few pops, and he has said in the past, look,
I made mistakes. I'm not a perfect man. I say,
everybody listen right now. Been one perfect man ever walked
this earth. We know how that ended. Okay, all of
us sinners in the eyes of the Lord. But she
wants to go there, and it's the whole thing is

(06:48):
just worth listening to because you're thinking to yourself, are
you Are you drunk?

Speaker 12 (06:53):
I have read multiple reports of your regularly being drunk
at work, including by people who worked with Fox News.
Do you know that being drunk at work is prohibited
for service members under the UCMJ.

Speaker 10 (07:06):
Senator multiple false anonymous reports pedaled by NBCDS know that
run directly to the job is to the dozens of
men and women at Fox.

Speaker 5 (07:17):
Co who are worry. I'm not hearing that to my question.

Speaker 12 (07:21):
And said in your offering statement, mister X said you
commit to holding leaders accountable at all levels, that includse you,
of course, and frankly as secretary, you will be on
the job twenty four to seven. You recently promised some
of my Republican colleagues that you stopped drinking and won't

(07:43):
drink if confirmed?

Speaker 5 (07:45):
Correct?

Speaker 12 (07:46):
Absolutely, will you resign as Secretary of Defense if you
drink on the job, which is a twenty four to
seven position.

Speaker 11 (07:55):
I've made this commitment on behalf.

Speaker 5 (07:57):
Of you resign as Secretary of Defense.

Speaker 10 (08:00):
I've made these committment off behalf of the men and
women I'm serving. I'm not because he's the most important
deployment here.

Speaker 5 (08:05):
And answer to my question, so I'm going to move on.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
Just ridiculous, Just just ridiculous. I don't even know what
to say at that point, what are you doing?

Speaker 13 (08:16):
Like?

Speaker 2 (08:16):
What is this about? Well? The Republicans had an answer
for that, and his name was Mark Wayne, that's his
first name. Mullin from Oklahoma.

Speaker 14 (08:26):
The senator from Virginius starts bringing up the fact that
what if you showed up.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
Drunk to your job?

Speaker 14 (08:32):
How many senators have showed up drunk to vote at night?

Speaker 5 (08:36):
Have any of you.

Speaker 14 (08:37):
Guys asked him to step down and resign for their job?
And don't tell me you haven't seen it, because I
know you have. And then how many senators do you
know have got a divorce before cheating on their wives?

Speaker 11 (08:47):
Did you ask them to step down?

Speaker 14 (08:49):
No, but it's for show, and you want to sit
there and say that he's not qualified.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
Give me a joke. It is so ridiculous that you.

Speaker 14 (08:57):
Guys hold yourself as this higher standard and you forget
you got a big plank in your eye.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
I like that, by the way, it's give me a break. Secondly,
just once, i'd like see somebody stand up there or
sit there, whatever they're doing, start asking questions, and I
just go, you know what, stop stop, stop, stop being
an ass hat. Okay, I don't need to be here.
If you want a grandstand, you want to ask me
a question. Did I drink in the past? I?

Speaker 13 (09:20):
Did?

Speaker 2 (09:21):
Is it a problem?

Speaker 5 (09:22):
No?

Speaker 2 (09:23):
I will not be drinking on the job. If you
have real questions, ask the questions. I will answer them.
If you don't, and you just want a grandstand, hey'
nobody get time today? Is all I have to say.
Should bring a little buzzer, play it every time, Tim Kaine,
So Tim, let me ask you a question. Sir. You
ran with Hillary, right, how's her husband? I'm just throwing

(09:48):
it out there. Just a nightmare. By the way, uh
Reuter's headline is Pete comes through pretty much unscathed. How
about our friend only Scott Well.

Speaker 15 (10:01):
In short, I think Pete Hegseth kicked our asses today.
I mean it wasn't even close. They didn't lay a
glove on heg Seth, no mistakes, calm, cool, collected. I mean,
before the thing even started, you had this code pink,
you know, protester freak show trying to disrupt the hearing.
That's a Democratic base, by the way, which probably explains
why the Democrats on the committee acted in such a

(10:22):
bizarre and unprofessional way. I was appalled at some of
the way these senators handled themselves and some of the
lines of questioning. Hag Seth was cool in the face
of this unhinged questioning. They made him look good today.
It would be difficult for a Republican to vote against
hag Seth after the Democrats unseemly mud slinging today.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
And one of the ones they were worried about was
Joni Ernst Will she or won't she? She will vote
for Pete? Thought was she may be up for potentially
that gig not anymore madam three, two, three, five, three, eight,
twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson Show, Twitter
or Instagram. It's Wednesday. You know we're gonna get woke.

(11:02):
We got more on the fires, including some interesting stuff.
My buddy who's out there fighting the fires send me
some pictures talking a little bit about that as well. Well,
I know what's in your bug out bag. Somebody just
text and said twinkies because they last forever. Understandable, understandable,
and uh, Carrie Underwood, she's under fire for doing something

(11:26):
on Monday, as well as a Philadelphia Eagles fan who uh,
let's just say, didn't have to get up for work today.
Speaking of the Eagles playoff season, Isaier Price picks. It's incredible.
You're going up to a thousand times your money. And
it's so easy to play, right, even my wife who

(11:50):
doesn't really follow sports. It's easy to play because it's
about setting a lineup. So you set your lineup and
it's all will they go over this or will they
be under this? Is that simple. Will Sam Darnold throw
two touchdown passes or will he throw less than? Well,
that's easy. We'll say Kwon Barkley run for over one

(12:11):
hundred yards or under one hundred yards. It's that simple.
You set your lineup and go, go, go. I do
it all the time play the Premier League. I play
tons of football as well as many other things, and
you can do the same thing. It is that simple.
So you got to Prize Picks. You download the app.
That easy. You're gonna get a fifty dollars bonus when

(12:32):
you use code Chad. It is simple to do. You
set your lineup the minui, you play your first five dollars,
you get fifty bonus bucks from Prize Picks. Try it today,
You'll love it. Go to Prize Picks, download your app
in the app store and play that first five dollars
lineup and get yourself fifty bonus bucks from Prize Picks.

(12:55):
Prize Picks, run your game. It's a Chad Benson show.

Speaker 1 (13:09):
Chad Benson.

Speaker 2 (13:10):
As if it couldn't get any worse. In southern California,
it's dusty Elth.

Speaker 3 (13:15):
Officials have now issued a dust and ash advisory warning
of air pollution as people across the area scramble for shelter,
among them Erica Lee.

Speaker 16 (13:23):
I've reached out to a couple places and a lot
of them have already been taken, and one of them
that I applied for up the rent one thousand dollars
an hour after I applied.

Speaker 3 (13:35):
Realtors say prospective tenants are so desperate some are offering
to pay double the listed rent for an entire year
up front.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
You know the people that are out there and they're saying,
all these people are are you know, they're raising the rents,
they're doing stuff. There are people out there that are willing,
like they said, to double what you're so you're offering
three grand. They're saying, look, I'll pay his seventy two
grand right now cash. That's hard to turn down. That

(14:05):
is that's absolutely hard to turn down. And the housing issue,
it's funny because they'll say, we have a housing crisis. No,
you have a government crisis. You don't let people build.
You make it virtually impossible to build in California. So

(14:25):
what do you do. You have not a lot of homes,
and more people want homes. Therefore there's a premium on homes.
So it's not that you don't have the space or
the room. You've overregulated yourself into a crisis. Looking for space.

Speaker 6 (14:45):
That's kind of long term. You know, it's going to
take some time to procure some space locally. We want
to be in Pasadena Altadena area, and then in the
short term. We have some online classes that we're trying
to get up and going.

Speaker 2 (15:03):
So father there because one of the things that you
know isn't really being talked about is the kids. Like
a lot of these areas there's no schools anymore, like
at all, so junior high, so elementary school, there's no
high school gone, and so you're just kind of looking around,
going we had to flee. We don't have anything. And oh,

(15:25):
by the way, our kids are here and they don't
have a school. There's no plan at this moment in time,
and there should have been three two, three, five, three eight,
twenty four, twenty three at Chad Benson Show. Is your Twitter,
your Instagram, all of the other things right here on
the Chad Benson Show. Right you're sketching it out. It

(15:53):
doesn't have to be written in penn and then go
from there. But alas it's California, well they do California
things all that. Speaking to my buddy yesterday, he is
a firefighter and he's from Orange County, so he he's out,
he's been out there for like fifteen days fighting, getting ready, preparing,

(16:14):
and he's sending us pictures and I showed from my
local show. My producer bell I showed him one of
the pictures and he's like, dude, that's a hum vy
hum vy. I said, yeah, he goes, that's a military
and I said, dude, why the military. He's like, because
there's so many freaking looters. He's had to bring the military.
The military, the National Guard, if you will, is there

(16:35):
to stop looters. That's what they're doing there in certain places.
And I'm like, my god, the hell is wrong with people?
We're going to talk about that. People lose their blank
in mind. We're going to talk about that a little
bit later. Because if you didn't see over the weekend,
there was a football game because the playoffs are here.
As you know, go to Price Picks download the app

(16:56):
used Chad, it's your code. A Philadelphia fan went viral
for all the wrong reasons and he's paying the price
for it. But it's the what the hell is wrong
with people? Wednesday? Besides woke Wednesday, And we do have
some crazy, fun, woke stuff coming up. Promise you that
as well as that crazy Eagles fan and a little

(17:17):
bit later in the show, got a new segment for you.
I think you're gonna like it, as well as nature
messing you up three two, three, five, four twenty three
at Chad Benson Shows your Twitter if you even see
the show red the podcast, it is the Chad Benson.

Speaker 17 (17:30):
Show, Son, Chad Benson Shoe.

Speaker 1 (18:00):
The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (18:02):
It is Wednesday, and you know what that means. It's
that time of the week where we get you woke correctly.

Speaker 18 (18:11):
Not only are they act hurting our kids, rectlish make
everything better correctly there.

Speaker 1 (18:16):
Fine, just my gender is a complete nightmare.

Speaker 5 (18:19):
A trans women get breast feet and this is great news.

Speaker 11 (18:22):
No, no, no, no no.

Speaker 1 (18:23):
There's something I need to tell you.

Speaker 19 (18:25):
The princess who came to your ball tonight with me,
I'm Gonzarella.

Speaker 2 (18:29):
That's the one where Harry waves the magic wand and
turns everybody back to their select gender.

Speaker 13 (18:36):
Miss Danny.

Speaker 8 (18:37):
You can't speculate about someone's sexuality unless they're famous or
peppermint Patty.

Speaker 2 (18:41):
It's time for woke Wednesday. Oh so, yesterday while all
the Pete Hegseth thing was going on, the Republicans, Yes, kids,
they're Republicans. We're passing a bill. What bill you ask
on this vote are two hundred and eighteen. The na's

(19:02):
are two hundred and six one voted President.

Speaker 13 (19:04):
The bill is passed.

Speaker 2 (19:05):
That objection motion reconsiders laid upon the table, lay that
upon thine table. The bill will withhold federal funds the
schools and educational institutes that allow boys to play with girls,

(19:27):
not in a co ed fashion, but for a boy
to go I identify as a girl. I am therefore
a girl. I want to play on the team. And
away it went, and the grand standing begins. Hey, elsie, here.

Speaker 19 (19:42):
We are today Republicans who have voted against, consistently against
the Violence Against Women Act, who have taken away the
right of all women to choose and have control over
their own body, who, as women are bleeding out in
part king lots across the country, standing there allowing us

(20:04):
to die. Now, want to pretend today that they care
about women. Why to open up gender and yes, genital
examinations into little girls in this country in the so
called name of attacking trans girls.

Speaker 2 (20:22):
So I just went outside. There was a parking lot
right next to me. Nobody is bleeding out over there, Nobody,
nobody is. I looked. I was like, I hear it's happening.
I asked several people yesterday after hearing this. This has got
to be happening everywhere. You had to find somebody to
show me the girls bleeding out By the way, we're
giving women, you know, a joyce. If you want to

(20:43):
go play a man's sport, knock yourself out, cause you
might get knocked out.

Speaker 19 (20:47):
Trans girls are girls. For all the folks that are
so concerned, thank you for your concern about women for
the first time that I've seen. I don't know about y'all.
I don't know who's been to gym class lately, but girls,
even if you only believe in two genders, I've played
co ed sports all the time. But what this also
opens the door for is for women to try to
perform a very specific kind of femininity for the very

(21:11):
kind of men who are drafting this bill, and to
open up questioning of who is a woman because of
how we look, how we present ourselves, and yes, what
we choose to do with our bodies.

Speaker 2 (21:23):
Or if you have a I identify a person that
has one of those as male. Just putting that out there,
not trying to be mean. And I think transgenders should
play sports. I got no problem with that. But we
have to be real. We have to be honest with ourselves.
It doesn't work. Oh, show my wife this last night,
because I've got daughters, they're going to play sports. They

(21:44):
do play sports, and no, you know, up until ten
or eleven twelve. I got no problem with that. That's fine.
But once you get past that, no, no, it's ridiculous.
It is. So. I showed my wife last night a
guy by the name of Jannic Blasse who is a player.
He's in Italy now, but he played for Crystal Palace.

(22:05):
So all the EPL teams, that's the Premier League, they
all have women's teams. He was out practicing with the women,
having fun. He took a ball and he went around
every one of their players. It was hilarious. If he

(22:28):
said today, I'm a female, He's the greatest female soccer
player of all time. Just putting that out there one
more for AOC. I know who loves this bill.

Speaker 19 (22:42):
Yes, bigoted folks love this bill.

Speaker 2 (22:44):
Assaulters love this bill.

Speaker 19 (22:46):
But also CEOs love this bill. Yeah, we do because
Los Angeles is on fire right now and this is
the number one priority diition majority has.

Speaker 2 (22:55):
Thank you, and I yield back, please shield back. By
the way, you're sitting there talking about lost an angels
being on fire. Just to remind you, California last week
called a special session during the worst time of the
fire to set aside fifty million dollars for lawsuits to
take on Donald Trump. Just throwing that out there. And no,

(23:25):
this isn't about transgender people and they don't exist, et cetera,
et cetera. They do. We should love them, We should
everything we can to help them because a vast majority
of them are going three real mental issue and struggle
and they're being pushed coerced into things that they shouldn't

(23:49):
be doing at their young age. But when it comes
to sports and women, sorry, no co ed softball? Fine, right,
you're working at you know, one of those tax places.
Like hey, Janice, we're putting together a softball team. Ah, great,
you want to go out and play great but serious sports.

(24:16):
Not that softball is not serious guys, especially for kids
who are looking for scholarships, that that can't happen. I
talk about the story all the time. I love my son,
fantastic hockey player, trying to get better. One thing for
sure about him is he's a beast. And I don't
mean kind of a beast. He's a beast. Whenever his

(24:37):
mother sends me pictures of him at the hockey games,
they're usually in his private box because he's absolutely obliterate. Somebody.
Up until two years ago, three years ago, they couldn't hit.
So there were girls on his team, and they were
really good. One of the girls best skater they had.
The minute they could hit, they separated them because of

(25:01):
the advantage the guys have. Now, Oh, the girls could
hit too, but they bounce off the guys, and the
guys are like, really, it's about protecting not only girls' sports,
but the integrity of the games themselves. And as I
always remind everybody, nobody seemed to have asked the girls

(25:23):
if it was okay that somebody came into their space
who had an inherent advantage, and that they would just
have to shut up and deal with it. And oh,
by the way, if they're in the locker room and
you happen to see that, just deal with it. Oh.
Speaking of transgender, oh it's a girl or I'm a girl.

Speaker 13 (25:47):
Now.

Speaker 20 (25:47):
This is actually my second gender reveal because the first
time my parents told the world that I was a boy,
which is incorrect. But I do not hold it against
them because how could they have known I was gonna
be trans? But it's a good reminder that the parts
you see on an ultrasound don't determine a baby's gender.

Speaker 2 (26:06):
And how is that possible?

Speaker 20 (26:07):
Well, think about it like this marker A blue cap
usually means a blue marker, but sometimes marker caps get
switched and in this case.

Speaker 2 (26:15):
It is a pink marker. You, sir, have issues. Just
want to let you guys know that that's a person
who has some issues, no doubt about that. Oh yeah,
A little woke Wednesday for you right here on the
Chad Benson Show. Coming up, Carrie Underwood's in hot Water?
Will Jesus take the wheel? Plus an Eagles fan fly

(26:39):
Egles fly isn't flying? And how will you act in
today's world? Needs well, needs to be rethought because everybody's
got a camera and you may be on the news.

Speaker 1 (28:12):
Running with scissors sounds great compared to.

Speaker 2 (28:14):
This, say Jesus tig She's singing Carrie Underwood along with you.
Guys know who I'm talking about.

Speaker 21 (28:27):
Right, they'll be there as well.

Speaker 2 (28:35):
But come on, she's singing at the inauguration and everybody's like,
oh my god, Carrie, here's the snaty goe. You're the
worst person ever.

Speaker 22 (28:44):
I wouldn't do it, even though I would not.

Speaker 13 (28:46):
No, I would not.

Speaker 22 (28:47):
I would not normalize him. And she says, I love
our country. How do you love your country and support
and normalize somebody who was a convicted fellow who really
wants to destroy the country. In my opinion, I don't
understand how you say you love your country at the
same time as you normalize this convicted felon, which I
can say.

Speaker 3 (29:04):
Now every day a lot of my family voted for Trump.

Speaker 23 (29:06):
They loved the country and vote for him.

Speaker 18 (29:07):
I think that people make these decisigns for.

Speaker 22 (29:09):
A lot of Okay, fine, And I would not be
the person to say, don't do it, because I believe
in free speech and everything about it.

Speaker 2 (29:15):
Well, you're warn't invited to do it. Joy your your
talking voice is grading. Couldn't even imagine what your singing
voice is like. So you will not be invited. But
you know what it is.

Speaker 24 (29:26):
Your opinions, Carrie Underwood, miss Season four American Idol winner.
I'm going to dig a key into your car. I'm
gonna swing on Louisville slugger at both your headlights.

Speaker 11 (29:37):
What are you doing?

Speaker 24 (29:38):
What are you doing the inauguration? Hello? Miss our times?
That TV is no one listening to before he cheats anymore?
Like what's Carrie Carrie baby m no, no, no.

Speaker 2 (29:52):
Oh, Carrie by Ray. We do it, baby girls sang.

Speaker 11 (29:56):
It, Miss Carrie Underwood.

Speaker 18 (29:58):
Yeah, she signed up to sing at the potential inauguration.
So if that's a deal breaker for you like it
is for me. And you have a Spotify, get over
there and blocker. You can block artists that you don't
want that you know support. If you don't know how
to do that, you go the artist, You go to
three dotch then you can click and block artist.

Speaker 5 (30:18):
So I suggest that we all do that.

Speaker 18 (30:21):
Yeah, there's a few songs I like of her, but
it's now worre that we're not supporting mega lovers not
doing it.

Speaker 2 (30:27):
Good God, get over yourself, and you know what, it's
not about him. It's about the country. Okay. You know what,
I don't hear people going we gotta we got to
stay away from you know, you know we we we
gotta band carry, We gotta go after care, we gotta
we gotta absol. But you know what they don't say,
we got to go after these guys. How you do

(30:51):
this all day? Nobody's going, you know, got to get
rid of the village people. You know why they steered
into it as why we're gonna get the dance live?
What do you think of those apples? Kids? But you
don't hear anybody good? You We should really get rid
of the village people. You could just go click on

(31:13):
top of the Spotify and block the Village people. You're
not gonna do that, you know it. It's Wednesday. We
do woke stuff. We have fun with it. We just
did some This is sad and hilarious at the same time.
So I'm gonna tell you guys, there are some places
as an opposing fan, probably not the best place to

(31:36):
go if you have sensitive ears. One of those places,
and maybe the place in this country is the City
of Thine Brotherly Love. Past weekend, Green Bay Packers travel
to the Lincoln Financial Field the Link they call it,
to take on the vaunted Philadelphia Eagles. You gotta play

(32:04):
the song right, fly Eagles fly. Not really happy with
the Eagles. He's Barkley didn't score a touchdown when I
needed them too. That being said, this is one of
those places that is notorious on how they treat their

(32:25):
opponent fans.

Speaker 25 (32:26):
Hey, hell.

Speaker 2 (32:30):
And this weekend during the game. So you've got a couple,
they're engaged. Congratulations Packer fans. Now they're from Philadelphia. This
lived outside of Philadelphia. Then they got Packers gear on
and they're in the upper deck. Again. Bad place. A
lot of drinking and a guy standing there. Normally you get,
you know, get a little bit of ribbing, but Philadelphia

(32:52):
is different. They cheered when Michael Irvin broke his neck.
They booed Santa Claus and Mike Schmidt arguably the greatest
third basement of all time. There is no mercy there.
So this guy standing behind the couple, let this lady
have it, and I say, lady, she's in her early twenties.

Speaker 26 (33:13):
This video now going viral showing an Eagles fan berating
this Packers fan at Lincoln Financial Field Sunday during the
Eagles Packers while card matchup.

Speaker 27 (33:21):
I didn't want to turn around and yell at this
guy and then have my fiance get jumped in the crowd.
So I was, I guess trying to say calm, but
I was pretty fuming at that point.

Speaker 26 (33:33):
Ali Keller was with her fiance Alexander at the game.
The Chester County couple were surrounded by Eagles fans most
of the time. The couple on the receiving end of
what they say was playful banter, but they say this
one guy took it too far in the second half
of the game.

Speaker 27 (33:46):
It wasn't about the game either, like he was making
personal jobs at me. It's one thing if he's going, oh,
at the Packers or whatever, but he's talking about my
looks the whole time.

Speaker 11 (33:57):
So it got personally.

Speaker 2 (33:59):
What I like about what she said was it's okay
if he says f the Packers, but don't talk about
my ass that way. Such a Philadelphia thing. Well, they've
identified the fan. His name is Ryan Caldwell. The Eagles
feel horrible about the situation video going viral. They have

(34:23):
sent her a bunch of Packers gear apologized profusely. On
top of that, they have banned Ryan Caldwell from any
thing happening at the link. So if there's a symphony
playing not that I think he would go there. He
couldn't go to the symphony. On top of that, Ryan

(34:44):
Caldwell has been fired from his job. Ooh, what kind
of job does he have?

Speaker 13 (34:49):
Jed.

Speaker 2 (34:51):
He is a consultant for BCT Partners. What are they?
They're a equity and inclusion management consulting firm in East Brunswick,
New Jersey. Their goal to help companies ensure that all
employees are treated fairly and have equal opportunities. What do

(35:16):
I think he should have been fired if he had
a if he was a plumber? No, but this is
a different story. You're part of the inclusive world, not
as inclusive as we thought. Three two, three, five, three eight,
twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson Show. To Twitter,
your Instagram and all of the other things right here
on the Chad Benson Show, TikTok man. That's a big, big,

(35:45):
big talking point around my house. What will happen to
the tick and the talk? Because people that make their
living on there, not just the influencers. By the way,
we hear a lot about that. Oh my god, what
am I gonna do?

Speaker 22 (35:59):
There's no other thing the Internet that can help me.

Speaker 2 (36:01):
There's only fans. But the small businesses out there, they're
terrified because they're making a ton of money and that's
about to go away. What might happen. We'll talk a
little bit about that as well, and a new segment
of the show where I set the record straight on
lies and misinformation. It's called that story is of the

(36:22):
Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 1 (36:24):
This is the Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 21 (36:53):
Yesterday, the Senators of America took their places in the
hollowed halls of our nation's capital to.

Speaker 2 (37:05):
Stare down the evil that is Pete Hegseth, filanderer, alcoholic,
maybe all around evil guy. That's what's in their mind,
and that's the way they acted, asking stupid questions, grandstanding

(37:27):
and doing what they do. Let's start with the one
and only Tim sugar Gain.

Speaker 9 (37:33):
Can you so casually cheat on a second wife and
cheat on the mother of a child that had been
born two months before and you tell us you were
completely cleared?

Speaker 2 (37:42):
So how is that a complete clear?

Speaker 11 (37:44):
Senator heard?

Speaker 10 (37:45):
The child's name is Gwendolen Hope Hegseth, and she's a
child of God and she's seven years old.

Speaker 9 (37:50):
And she was and you cheated on the mother of
that child less than two months after that daughter was born,
didn't you those were false charges?

Speaker 10 (37:57):
Well, no, Julie investigated and I was completely.

Speaker 2 (38:00):
Cleared, completely cleared. But you asked that question. You ran
with the lady by the way, named Hillary Clinton, whose
husband I was the President of the United States. You
guys recognize that I had a few misgivings myself, pet
to understand. Just embarrassing. And we're just getting started, by

(38:21):
the way, so hold on to your hats and glasses,
because this one's going to be the wildest ride in
the wheel or this. So that was Tim Sugarcane, as
I like to call him, this lonely Scott.

Speaker 15 (38:32):
The Chocratic Party conducted itself today in a terrible fashion.
Tim Kane and his line of questioning sounded like a
sex pervert, And so all these.

Speaker 11 (38:45):
Issues all were raising.

Speaker 15 (38:46):
Why didn't Tim Kane spend eight minutes on that instead
of spending eight minutes dumpster diving with his.

Speaker 2 (38:51):
Stupid opposition researched up.

Speaker 15 (38:53):
It was atrocious and the dams killed any chance they
had of making a case against this.

Speaker 2 (38:58):
I was terrible. Absolutely, you're not lonely anymore. Brother, We're
behind you. But that's if you're serious about stuff. And
how many times have we told you these hearings are
not about the person who is answering the questions. They're
about the person asking the questions, grandstanding, acting upon thine

(39:22):
way to get my sound bites and picture on the
television and on the tweeter. And that's what they do.
They grandstand. It's to raise money. It's never about getting
any real serious questions you may have answered, it's never

(39:44):
about that. Plus, if you're at this point, you won.

Speaker 13 (39:50):
Right.

Speaker 2 (39:50):
Once Pete got there and he realized there was only
maybe one or two holdouts, Joni Ernst yesterday said, nah,
I'm gonna vote for Pete. So you're there. Reuters ap
both of them. Pete, Hegseach comes through the hearing unscathed. Unscathed,

(40:11):
they say, Now that brings us to this old Mazie
Hurano of the great State of Hawaii. Where do we start.
Let's start with this one.

Speaker 12 (40:25):
Would you use our military to take over Greenland or
an ally of Denmark?

Speaker 11 (40:33):
Senator?

Speaker 10 (40:34):
One of the things that President Trump is so good
at is never strategically tipping his hand. And so I
would never in this public forum give one way or
another direct what orders the president in any context, that.

Speaker 12 (40:45):
Sounds to me that you would contemplate carrying out such
an order to basically invade.

Speaker 5 (40:49):
Greenland and take over the Panama Canal.

Speaker 2 (40:52):
My god, the hell's wrong with you people. It's not
down there though. That wasn't her best, saved her best
for the last, Ladies and gentlemen from the great state
of Hawaii, Pacy.

Speaker 12 (41:09):
I have read multiple reports of your regularly being drunk
at work, including by people who worked with you at
Fox News. Do you know that being drunk at work
is prohibited for service members under the UCMJ.

Speaker 11 (41:23):
Senator?

Speaker 10 (41:23):
Those are multiple false, anonymous reports pedaled by NBCDS. You
know that directly to the dozens of men and women
at Fox.

Speaker 5 (41:35):
Who I worry I'm not hearing that my question.

Speaker 11 (41:37):
And said in your offering statement, mister.

Speaker 12 (41:39):
He said you commit to holding leaders accountable at all levels.
That includes you, of course, and frankly, as secretary, you
will be on the job twenty four to seven. You
recently promised some of my Republican colleagues that you stopped
drinking and won't drink. If I've confirmed correct, absolutely, will

(42:04):
you resign as secretary? Of Defense if you drink on
the job, which is a twenty four to seven position.

Speaker 11 (42:11):
I've made this commitment on behalf of it.

Speaker 5 (42:13):
Will you resign a Secretary of Defense.

Speaker 11 (42:16):
I've made these.

Speaker 10 (42:16):
Commitment off of the men and women I'm serving. I'm
not because there's the most important deployment here.

Speaker 5 (42:22):
You answer to my question, so I am going to
move on.

Speaker 2 (42:24):
I would say, I'm a twenty four to seven drinker,
so I'm glad I'm getting twenty four to seven job.
I would say, I just spoke to my counsel and
they told me not to answer that question on the
grounds that you're a dumb ass. Chad. There are serious
questions you can ask him, and a few people did,

(42:48):
but very very few, very very few. It's this is
the world we live in right now, people, and it's
a frustrating thing because there are serious things going on
in the world and we need serious people. And there

(43:08):
are serious things going on in our country and we
need serious people. And unfortunately, being a pelebrity for a
lot both sides of the aisle is very important. Getting
your face out there, your tweets out there. You represent
two hundred thousand people, but your Twitter is four million.

(43:28):
So it's a win, man, I tell you. Frustrating Pam
Bondi by the way, AG nomination. She is going to
be up front and center today and she's going to
get through much much easier time than what Pete got.

(43:51):
This is an excerpt of Dick Durbin's opening remarks today
in the Pam Bondy hearing for AG. And he's got
some questions that are fair to ask, but he also says, look,
she's really qualified.

Speaker 8 (44:05):
I need I need to know you would tell President
Trump no. If you are faced with a choice between
your oath to the Constitution and your loyalty to mister Trump.
If Pam Bondi says she will be independent from Donald
Trump and will tell him no, will you believe her?

Speaker 28 (44:22):
Well, it depends, Kate. It's one of those situations where
Pambondi is legal qualifications for the job, there's no question
about it. But the real question is whether or not
she'll say no to Donald Trump. And we have reason
to raise a question. In his first term in office,
Donald Trump took two of his attorneys general who he
thought were disloyal and fired him on the spot. So

(44:45):
if you say to Donald Trump, what you're suggesting is wrong,
illegal or unconstitutional. Unfortunately, you can lose your job.

Speaker 2 (44:53):
By the way, I need to know that we should
all know that it used to be. Are you qualified
for the job? That's it? Do you have the qualifications?

Speaker 11 (45:10):
Now?

Speaker 2 (45:11):
It's what TMZ moments in your life? Can we throw
out here to discount anything you've done in your life.
She's very qualified. She's going to get through. And by
the way, Dick Durbin also went on to say, Marco
Rubio's getting through. He's the right man in this situation

(45:33):
for the job for Secretary of State three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson Show.
Is your Twitter tweet at US text the program. Meanwhile,
in California, Ia still hot.

Speaker 7 (45:44):
The next hours here are going to be absolutely critical,
very low humidity. The wins are going to come howling
down canyons, which is why fire officials have prepositioned so
many trucks in all about fifteen thousand firefighters in southern
calib right now. They are concerned that these winds could
whip up embers and ignite new fires.

Speaker 2 (46:07):
That is a big concern. So over the next thirty
six plus hours, there is a good chance that the
winds are going to come back. Some of these fires
are being somewhat contained, but it only takes a moment
or two with the twistings of the winds and for
those to pick up. They're not going to be as

(46:28):
strong as they have been, but they're gonna be strong
enough to definitely turn against the firefighters. So that's something
to absolutely be watching today because there's a chance that
they're going to get some rain, and it looks like
it's going to be light rain. They haven't a rain
in several months there, but I saw people going, well,

(46:51):
thank god they're getting that. It depends how much rain
are you getting, because if you don't know what happens
afterwards when everything's burned down and it's left everything in ashes,
and it's also softened the ground and it's made it gross,
and all of a sudden the rains come and then
mud slides. So it's this weird like, can we get

(47:13):
a little bit of rain, like just enough to make
everything kind of wet, but not enough to make its
muddy and mud slidy. But it's going to be more
than a few days, and just watching a lot of
people will talk about that because we're forgetting about the
kids and you know, the housing issues that are going
on in California. Those are all important things that maybe

(47:36):
I think people forget. And we'll also talk a bit
about you know, the grab bag or the go bag,
whatever you want to call it, cause that is important.
I was talking to my wife the last couple of
days about, you know, what should we take should something happen,
as opposed to just running out of the house, fleeing
with nothing or grabbing stuff that doesn't mean anything and

(47:58):
won't help you. Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty
four to twenty three atch Headbentson Shows your Twitter. Also
coming up this hour, we have got a new segment
I think you guys are gonna like it where we
basically tell you whether or not you should believe a
story and we call this you do know that story?

Speaker 13 (48:20):
Right?

Speaker 2 (48:21):
That'll be coming up this hour. Some woke stuff as well.
Rough greens are you ffgreens? Dot com? Vitamins, minerals, probiotics
and make a three six nine You hear me talk
about it all the time. And meal greens, fruits, vegetables,
just incredible stuff for your cat and dog. So why
would you give your cat or dog. This because you

(48:42):
want them to be healthy, and these are gonna help
with things like allergies with skin and fur, digestive track issues,
issues with aches and pains in their joints, right little
long in the tooth, if you will, maybe issues with
their teeth and gumps. This is gonna help in so
many ways. And it is a powder supplement. You just
put it right on top of your dog or cat's

(49:02):
food with a little scoop in a way you go,
you'd have to change anything. I believe in this. My
cat and dogs take it. You should too. Now they
believe in it so much, they're going to give you
a Jumpstart trial bag at twenty dollars value, absolutely free.
All they ask you to do is cover the cost
of shipping good ruff Greens dot com. Use code chat

(49:23):
You cover the cost of shipping a twenty dollars Jumpstart
Trial bag is yours for free. Ruff Greens dot com.
Use code Chadroughgreens dot Com code Chad, you cover the
cost of shipping Jumpstart Trial bag for free. Chad Benson, Joe.

Speaker 29 (49:48):
Chad Benson, I'm about to lose my job on TikTok
as an influencer I just wanted to clarify a few things.

Speaker 2 (49:55):
My house.

Speaker 29 (49:56):
I pay two thousand dollars a month for my house,
and then I just bought a twenty twenty five Mercedes SUV,
so let's just clarify that. So in total, I pay
like probably almost ten thousand dollars in bills and food
and just my lifestyle. I also want to I want
to thank everybody for everyone who sent me money on Venmo.

(50:18):
I was able to get a total of six thousand
dollars already.

Speaker 2 (50:23):
Wow, TikTok It's a big topic around my house. Could
it be going away? Will it be going away? People
like this totally terrified.

Speaker 29 (50:33):
But yeah, guys, right now, I'm really worried because if
TikTok's banned, Like what are what are us influencers really
gonna do?

Speaker 2 (50:39):
Like we have nothing to go to.

Speaker 29 (50:42):
So I probably, yeah, probably gonna sue the government because
without TikTok Ei, there is no me, there is no influencer.
My bills are too high to work at McDonald's. Like
that's just not going to ever happen. That's just not
a thing.

Speaker 2 (50:54):
Have you thought of only fans I hear they're paying, Well,
that's all I'm saying some of you are thinking about it. No, no, don't, don't.
Some others maybe maybe maybe you know there are other
apps out there. Insta, that's an app. You can do it.

(51:16):
There A lot of them are going go find me
on Insta, Go find me on YouTube, Go find me
on Facebook. Go you can do that. But Chad, why
are they doing this?

Speaker 30 (51:26):
This is the Communist Party of China tracking movements, keystrokes,
listening in on Americans. I don't think during World War
Two we would have ever considered allowing Nazi Germany or
Imperial Japan to have that kind of access to data
and information on Americans.

Speaker 2 (51:40):
You don't know that, sir. You don't know any of that, sir.
That is a Republican right then, of course it is Chad.
Eric Schmidt wants a course of stamish Schmidt. It is
a big story though, and you know who could buy it. Well,
it's obvious Elon is the answer. And for a lot

(52:04):
of influencers they're like, oh god, oh god. But he's
got a great relationship with Beijing. Three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson Show,
it's your Twitter, your Instagram, and all of the other
things right here on the Chad Benson Show. That being said,

(52:30):
a lot of people like, but if he buys it,
he's gonna make it awful. I get over yourself. Do
you want it or not? Yes or no? It's a
simple question because if not, I'm putting it back.

Speaker 13 (52:43):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (52:46):
You know, as we talk about the fires and stuff
that are going on, and we're watching all of this
stuff take place in real time like never before. The
big thing that people are starting to realize is stuff
can happen at any time, and having stuff ready to
roll as an in case is very importante.

Speaker 4 (53:04):
Commissioner of Emergency Management Zachary Iskll tells me, now is
the time to prepare for the next disaster.

Speaker 15 (53:11):
A little radio so you can get news and information.

Speaker 2 (53:14):
Assemble a so called go bag.

Speaker 4 (53:16):
Topping the list is Skill says, grab your cell phones
and chargers.

Speaker 6 (53:20):
That's your line to your family and your friends and
to your support network.

Speaker 2 (53:24):
Documents, sip block bags are your best friend.

Speaker 4 (53:26):
The commissioner recommends taking it one step further, making copies
of the papers to create a digital go bag.

Speaker 2 (53:35):
And that is so important. We had all of our
dog well, I had all of my documents stolen last
year and it has been a nightmare trying to get
stuff taken care of. But I had digital documents, which
is helped. But I will tell you this right now,
having a go bag is ready. There's a different suite
of go bag and a bug out bag. Okay, we

(53:56):
will talk a little bit about that coming up, but
it is smart to have some sort of an emergency
go back, something to think about. Kids. We care about you,
that's what we do. We've gotta nature will mess you
up coming up as well as Little Woke Wednesday. It
is the Chad Benson.

Speaker 17 (54:15):
Shown, Chad Benson Joe.

Speaker 1 (54:40):
The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (54:42):
It is Wednesday, and I said I was gonna do
it pretty much every Wednesday this year because I love
doing it, and so do you guys. You know what
time it is.

Speaker 23 (54:53):
This support group is for people who are so woke
they're finding it impossible to have any fun.

Speaker 2 (55:00):
It's that time of the week where we break it
down for you and get you woke.

Speaker 1 (55:05):
It's all right, I'll do that way too, It's all right.

Speaker 31 (55:08):
Let it out, Like, can we actually agree that women
get pregnant and not men?

Speaker 2 (55:13):
How damn you white women?

Speaker 23 (55:16):
Raise the white boys who grew up to be little misogynistic,
patriarchal toilets.

Speaker 18 (55:23):
I am Kamela har my plan under see a herme
a woman sitting at the table wearing gazing blue suit.

Speaker 2 (55:33):
It's time for woke Wednesday. It is time to get
woke now. The other day I did something I normally
don't do. I engaged, mostly because I thought it was
a parody account. It was not a parody account, and
it was on the TikTok. It's on all of them.
It's funny because it might say TikTok, but it might
be on Instagram.

Speaker 13 (55:52):
Away.

Speaker 2 (55:53):
I forgot where I engagement. I'm very nice, Letty. I
just want to say, this is her, very nice, very
very nice. But this about di which is a very
big topic of conversation when you see what's going on
in California, Los Angeles in particular, and how things have
gotten sideways with the fires and how so much of

(56:15):
the focus for a lot of the upper management throughout California,
in all aspects of government, has very little to do
with reality and all to do with programs, checking boxes,
et cetera, et cetera.

Speaker 32 (56:33):
If your first instinct anytime you see a minority in
a position of power is to mock them as being
a DEI higher. That is the exact reason we need
a DEI in the first place. You see, you just
simply cannot fathom that a woman, a person of color,
a member of the LGBTQI plus community could be qualified

(56:53):
for that job.

Speaker 2 (56:54):
You can't wrap your head around that.

Speaker 32 (56:55):
It doesn't seem possible to you, so much so that
you're going to decide this big conspiracy of the DEI
higher and that's the only reason they could have gotten
that job. You see, this is the exact attitude that
necessitated the DEI process in the first place, because highly
qualified workers from minoritized groups were routinely being overlooked during
hiring processes in order to continue with the status quo,

(57:18):
which was typically white men.

Speaker 2 (57:20):
So I engaged, because it goes on, I'm going to
play some more of it. I engaged, as I just said,
this has to be a parody account, and I got
an answer back, it's not a parody account. DEI is necessary.
I said, no, it's not, and we went back and forth.
Nothing meaning by the way to adults having a conversation,

(57:40):
two adults having a conversation she continues again, I want
to say I engaged. It was my fault. It's my fault.

Speaker 33 (57:49):
Here's the thing.

Speaker 32 (57:50):
DEI does not exist to replace the highest qualified candidate,
i e. The white male, with someone who's less qualified,
but happens to check a box meantal level the playing
field so that all qualified persons are actually considered for
the job and not just one set of people. Somehow
it's been twisted to make DEI the bad guy when
DEI had to be put in place because of all

(58:12):
of the injustices that we saw all the time in
workplaces and still see today. That's why it's necessary. It
isn't taking away your jobs. That's not what it's doing.
It's not giving positions to less qualified people just because
they're a minority. It's just allowing those minorities to finally
be seen and considered in these jobs that they were
ignored in for generations. So everybody who's constantly on about

(58:35):
a DEI higher and how that's a bad thing, thank
you so much for proving the point yet again that
we actually need those services in those programs.

Speaker 2 (58:43):
Now, I'm going to say this, were there times in
our past, even a not too distant passed that we
absolutely promoted white folk over all kinds of people. Of course, huh.
We've moved on since then, saying it's there aren't issues,
because there always be issues. Where she fails in this

(59:07):
woke culture is it's no longer about the people they're
trying to help. It's about the people that are pushing
DEI on everybody. It no longer is about the person
who needs a hand up, the person who needs a shot.
It's not about that anymore. It's about all of these

(59:27):
people who push these wacky programs, these activists because it's
about making money. That's what they care about. They care
about their programs. They don't care about the individuals.

Speaker 13 (59:40):
They don't care.

Speaker 2 (59:40):
If they put an individual into a position he or
she should not be in because they are not qualified,
then what happens. They fall behind, things go sideways. Next
thing you know, they leave the college, they leave the job,
they get fired, and then the next time I opportunity comes,

(01:00:01):
people are reticent to give another person who would be
quote unquote a DEI hire another shot. It's about meritocracy.
That should be the number one thing, but businesses sometimes
it's money. So, by the way, when everybody's worried about
the color of somebody's skin, or who they love or
who they worship. Green sometimes decides what happens. Once they

(01:00:26):
decided that the most important thing was the program, that's
when DEI failed. That's when the opportunity to help people
who come from minority groups who have been underserved and
haven't had their chance, once they became secondary to the program, well,
that's when everything went south. And that's a sad thing.

(01:00:52):
And as I've explained to it, it has nothing to do
with whether or not we should give people chances. We
absolutely should to be replaced by robots anyways. But that
being said, you're coming at it is if oh, we
just want to give people a chance. You've got this
utopian vision of what you think it should look like.
It's not. It's a business. And the quicker you understand

(01:01:15):
it's a business, the more you realize that it's all
a bunch of crap. And the people they purported portingly
wanted to help, they hurt because for them it's about
checking boxes and feeling good and keeping the DEI business
alive as long as possible, not about the outcome. That's

(01:01:43):
when everything goes south. Speaking of liberal women.

Speaker 34 (01:01:47):
The studies coming out saying that liberal women are the
unhappiest group of people. Duh, I could have told you
that they're miserable. They blieme everyone else on their problems,
They take no accountability in their lives, they don't understand
the way the world works, and they have this victim mentality.
I didn't need a study to tell you that. Of course,
the liberals are the unhappiest group of people, constantly looking
for problems. They're just a grumpy They're just a grumpy group,

(01:02:11):
and they're fighting for things they don't understand. There are
the types of people that are the easiest to brainwash
because they don't really have critical thinking skills.

Speaker 2 (01:02:20):
Something to that. And I'm not just saying because you're conservative, no, no, no,
has nothing to do with It has to do with
the studies, the data, the facts. Believe the science, and
they say that liberals, because it's all about emotion for
the most part, tend to be miserable and unhappy because
you can't live all day in a world of emotions
and not think that that's not going to affect you
in a negative way.

Speaker 33 (01:02:42):
Continue absolutely will be doing this four Be movement I
am going to absolutely be getting self defense classes, going
to the shooting range. I'm talking about everything. They even
mentioned sharpening your teeth. I heard getting your nails, like sharp,
getting some nails, put on the sharp, holding up patom anything,

(01:03:05):
I don't care, it's up and they're shut down.

Speaker 2 (01:03:11):
You're gonna sharpen your teeth. Well, that seems like a
weird thing to do if you don't know what the
four B movement is. After Trump won, it's became quite popular.

Speaker 13 (01:03:20):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (01:03:20):
No sex, no giving birth, no dating men, no marriage
with men. So no radical feminism across the board. No,
that's where they're going with this one. And you wonder
why they're so unhappy. Goodness me, by the way, don't

(01:03:41):
do the teeth thing right. If you don't want to
have sex with a man, not that you really were
gonna have, but if you don't want to have sex men, fine.
If you don't want to date men, fine, If you
don't want to get married fine.

Speaker 35 (01:03:51):
The teeth thing that seems a bit much, because that's like, yeah,
you got your teeth right. They don't grow back after
the first set falls out, the second ones grow in.

Speaker 2 (01:04:01):
There is no redo after that, just letting you know
you're not a shark. Oh yeah, three two, three, five,

(01:05:54):
when it comes to the fires. Chat Benson shoe, hashtag.

Speaker 32 (01:06:08):
Me too, hashtag immigration reforms, hashtag help.

Speaker 1 (01:06:11):
I'm trapped in a hashtag factory and I can't get out.

Speaker 5 (01:06:15):
The Chat Benson Show.

Speaker 23 (01:06:16):
Those red flag warnings actually go all the way down
to the Mexican border. We saw a couple spotfires even
in the San Diego County mountains, so we'll be keeping
an eye on all of it. San Fernando Valley back
two thousand Oaks, the western Santa Monica Mountains. We're watching
really closely for win gus of forty five to even
seventy miles per hour.

Speaker 2 (01:06:32):
Ugly, still nasty, the potential to get worse. That is
because of the weather. Right, nature messes you up. We
talk about that all the time. Something we need to
talk about more and more, though, is disinformation and out
and out lies. So everything that happens nowadays has a

(01:06:56):
chance to be taken wrong. Has it ants to be
dissected by certain groups of people on both the right
and the left to make it fit a narrative. And
there are plenty of people out there that are well,
for lack of better term, useful idiots and are easily
tricked into spreading lies that are perpetrated by others, not themselves.

(01:07:23):
They didn't make it up, but they took it and
ran with it. And that's why we're going to start
our new segment today. Now it's time for the latest
edition of you do know that story? Right right here
on the Chat Benson Show. Did you hear that California

(01:07:43):
rejected the sixty fire trucks that Oregon had set over
to fight out the Los Angeles fire.

Speaker 36 (01:07:51):
The Santa Monica Observer is reporting that sixty Oregon fire
trucks sent to assist to California fire fighting is lacking
small certification. The fire trucks are being held in Sacramento
for emissions testing. You seriously can't make this stuff up.

(01:08:12):
How much smog is being released from the fires. When
I first heard it, I said, no way, They're not
gonna turn away help. But it appears that they're at
least slowing down the help. Will the Oregon fire trucks
even meet California's standards of emissions?

Speaker 2 (01:08:32):
This is crazy, It's not true. It's a fake story.
The truck stopped in Sacramento and had a fifteen minute
once over because those trucks aren't meant to drive that
far that fast. There was no stopping of the trucks
or the airplanes. None of that stuff is true. None

(01:08:59):
of it is, But it's easily put out there because
for whatever reason, people think they need to do something.
They see something and they say, oh, this has to
happen because in other things, then California. Look, California, this
is partially on you because you do crazy stuff that
you know in other ways, they've got to stop all

(01:09:19):
kinds of stuff from happening here, and they've got to
look at stuff catalytic converters. Now, no, it's that that's
not true. None of that is true. We move on
to this one may be my favorite one, and this
is where the useful idiot comes in. Oh my lord,
what are you talking about.

Speaker 25 (01:09:40):
According to Ukrainian sources, eight mansions belonging to high ranking
Ukrainian military officers have been destroyed in the major fires
in Los Angeles. These houses are estimated to be worth
ninety million dollars. Ninety million dollars worth of mansions owned

(01:10:02):
by Ukrainian generals in California.

Speaker 2 (01:10:05):
I'm sorry, but I have so many questions.

Speaker 25 (01:10:07):
Why do generals from Ukraine own mansions in California?

Speaker 11 (01:10:11):
Why do eight Ukrainian generals have mansions in Los Angeles?

Speaker 2 (01:10:21):
They don't. That's a lie actually put out there by
the Russians, just like they just put a new lie
out there that Zelenski bought a thirty five million dollar
home in like Boca Ratone. These are things that are
put out there. Some of them people they grab onto

(01:10:43):
something and they run with it. Just take a moment
and say is this true or not? The Ukrainian one
is a bunch of Russian websites that have put that
out there and people bought into it. You're getting fleeced.
It's not true. None of that's true. List it is chat.
I read it on the Internet. It's totally true. Oh

(01:11:06):
my lord. So we just like to make sure that
you guys get all of the truth out there. And
it's hard, I know it. In today's world, it's a
tough thing because separating fact from fiction can be extremely
tough in a time when sites look legitimate, the story
seems like it could be plausible, but you every once

(01:11:29):
in a while gotta take a step back and go, okay, okay,
maybe this isn't true. So just throw that out there, guys.
All right, we're separating the fact from the fiction. And
trust me, California's got enough problems out there. They don't
need any more disinformation to hurt their insanity. They're doing

(01:11:51):
enough damage to themselves. Welcome to California. This has been
a very special edition of You do know that story?

Speaker 13 (01:12:00):
Right?

Speaker 2 (01:12:02):
Well? They do now three two, three, five, three, eight,
twenty four, twenty three At Chad Benson Show. It's your Twitter,
your Instagram and all of the other things right here
on the Chad Benson Show. Coming up, third hour, little
What's trending? Buddy, Jim Kennedy speaking of California's insanity. He's

(01:12:24):
going to join the program, Jim of the Kennedy Institute
of Public Policy Research. We'll talk a little bit about
Pete Heck six, but most of it's going to be
about the insanity of California and the unpreparedness. But also
I'll look forward because twenty twenty eight has already being
talked about, and the guy that's running California would love
to be president of the world. Has this hurt his chances?

(01:12:48):
And what are the chances that California's politics may shift
because of this? Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty
four to twenty three. That's your tax line. It is
the Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 1 (01:13:01):
This is the Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (01:13:30):
Jobs, jobs, jobs, money, inflation, those things matter day to
day stuff. We've got the inflation report out. Are you ready?

Speaker 31 (01:13:42):
This is a confusing report. There's some good news, some
bad news. There's a little something for everyone. Let's start
with the bad news. Two point nine percent. That's the
annual inflation rate. This was hotter than expected. It's the
third street month where this number has gone up further
away from that two goal, and this is the highest
since July. Also, the monthly number was a little bit

(01:14:03):
hotter than expecting. When we look at the trend, you
can see that, yes, there's been a lot of progress
from the nightmare of two and a half years ago,
and yet some of that progress has started to unwind
and stall out in the last few months.

Speaker 2 (01:14:18):
Okay, so some good, some bad. This matters. But where's
the good and bad? How did they calculate that, because,
as we all always point out here, sometimes they leave
some stuff out that matters.

Speaker 31 (01:14:32):
Starting to tick a little bit higher, that's not what
you want to see. But there is some good news,
and I think this is why the market is reacting
very positively. Core inflation, which excludes food and energy, that
actually cools off.

Speaker 2 (01:14:46):
So look at this.

Speaker 31 (01:14:47):
We see DOUBT futures up almost seven hundred points. The
NASDA future is up almost two percent, and that's because
the bond market liked those core numbers.

Speaker 2 (01:14:56):
Interest rates went down in.

Speaker 31 (01:14:58):
The market because a lot of people are on edge.

Speaker 2 (01:15:05):
Core inflation was down. Isn't that great?

Speaker 13 (01:15:09):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:15:12):
It is great that it's down, but you take out
everything that matters housing, food, energy. Hey, your T shirt
costs last this month than it did last month. You
can light that on fire, you can eat it, you
can live in it.

Speaker 31 (01:15:27):
Core inflation, there were some numbers that people are not
going to like, right.

Speaker 2 (01:15:31):
I mean, restaurant prices.

Speaker 31 (01:15:33):
Are up significantly more than three percent from a year ago. Shelter,
that's rent, I mean that continues to be a major problem.

Speaker 2 (01:15:39):
And energy as well.

Speaker 31 (01:15:40):
This is more electricity, natural gas prices. And listen, when
we talk about inflation, we think about we talk about
the rate of inflation, how much prices are going off.

Speaker 2 (01:15:50):
But what people care.

Speaker 31 (01:15:51):
About, what all the viewers care about, is the level
of prices.

Speaker 2 (01:15:54):
And no doubt, people are spending a lot more.

Speaker 31 (01:15:56):
Look at this, almost twelve hundred dollars more for the
same goods services then they were back in January twenty
twenty one, all because prices are higher.

Speaker 2 (01:16:05):
John, my name's Chad. Don't you forget that. That was
CNN's financial guru. I just and I say this over
and over again. Everybody does it right, same thing with
employment numbers and unemployment numbers. Unemployments down, that's because half

(01:16:30):
the country doesn't apply for unemployment. How can you tell
me unemployments down? If the minute get kicked off the rolls,
you no longer count. Oh yeah, it's they all do
it right right left. Everybody Trump will do it, and
and and you know, Biden's done it. Everybody's done it.
They've done it for time and more. They've gone and

(01:16:50):
they've messed with it, and we always talk about it.
Here was zach Abram Street, investment officer Board Capital that
you take out, you strip out the stuff that matters,
you can make anything look good. So I sit there
and I scratch my head. I like the part where
he's like, well, the great news is corn. Inflation is

(01:17:13):
down when you take out energy, housing, and food. And
then the next segment he goes, food's more expensive, rents
are going up and energy rose last month. You're like, okay,
welcome to politics. What you guys know is life's a

(01:17:37):
little bit more expensive. And I've always said this, inflation
doesn't matter if you can outperform the rate of inflation.
I mean, you want it to be down. But if
inflation rises five percent and you get a ten percent raise,
or you make ten percent more than what inflation has risen,
that's a win. But if inflation is rising and you're

(01:18:03):
staying steady, eventually the water's gonna go above your head.
And that's what we've seen. Hence the reason why we
have a change. California has managed to do it again.
It's the fire's rage out of control. Here is the
fire chief giving an update.

Speaker 5 (01:18:24):
My name is Captain Jennifer Wilcox.

Speaker 31 (01:18:26):
My pronouns are she her.

Speaker 18 (01:18:28):
I am a Caucasian female or in a black shirt
uniform with I wear and a black hat.

Speaker 2 (01:18:38):
If you're the fire you're like, we know we could
easily win this, right, I just, oh god, stop already,
you're not helping. And the people that are blind, they
don't know what that means. You're wearing black? What does
that mean? You know what you see? Now? Nothing? There

(01:18:58):
you go, that's black. It's so very nice chat. I
just why is the question? Why? Why? And now everywhere
you go to they have the sign language person and
do you always wonder it's like this one real because

(01:19:20):
at least once or twice a year somebody gets caught out.
You know the balls it takes to get to that
point where you know you're gonna be in front of
cameras and reporters, and you're just gonna be doing wacky stuff.

(01:19:43):
I just I always I'm fascinated about that that people
do that when they get up there and they do
fake sign languages. I'm always fascinated by that because my
thought is, man, that is some that's there. Your dad
is ooh, and do you think of the whole time?

(01:20:06):
I don't what am I doing?

Speaker 4 (01:20:08):
Like?

Speaker 2 (01:20:09):
Are you just going? Because the other thing is too
Half of it is the confidence, just the confidence that
people do. They don't look worried. They're just going at it.
Ah geez. Speaking of the fires.

Speaker 23 (01:20:28):
The biggest area that were extreme risk for today until
three pm. That's that PDS particularly Dangerous situation red flag
warning goes through the San Fernando Valley. It's over toward
Ventura along the one on one, the four five.

Speaker 2 (01:20:42):
Okay, particularly dangerous winds, winds, winds.

Speaker 23 (01:20:47):
By tomorrow, things really start to settle down. The wind
speeds are near calm for Santa Clarita.

Speaker 2 (01:20:53):
By Friday.

Speaker 23 (01:20:54):
You know the other best part, We're going to get
on shore flow by Friday. That means that the humidity
is going to bump up to sixty percent that's gonna
help so much. You might even see a sprinkle by
the end of the week in southern California.

Speaker 2 (01:21:05):
Which is what you want. You want a sprinkle, You
do not want a deluge because these grounds are so disturbed,
they're so beat up. They turned the mud so fast
now and then you get the mud slides. And we're
gonna be talking to over abuddy, Jim Kennedy, Kennedy Institute
pug Policy Research, coming up in a little bit. Talk
a little bit about what happened yesterday Pete Hegseth, but

(01:21:25):
also a lot about California because he he lives, eat
and breeze California politics and to look ahead to could
this sway California politics in the future. But on top
of that, one guy, the governor, has his eye on
a bigger prize and while he can't win twenty twenty eight,

(01:21:46):
could he have already lost it. We'll be talking to
him in a little bit. Meanwhile, Yes, Pete hegsett got
the once over yesterday and then some and he came
through I think for the most part, completely unscathed. But
today it's Pam Bondy's term. Pam Bundy, she started her
opening statement today like an Oscar speech, thinking everybody that

(01:22:11):
came to support her, from her nieces and nephews, her
best friends, et cetera, et cetera. But then she got
down to brass tax age potential bondy.

Speaker 37 (01:22:22):
If confirmed as the next Attorney General of the United States,
my overriding objective will be to return the Department of
Justice to its core mission of keeping Americans safe and
vigorously prosecuting criminals. And that includes getting back to basics gangs, drugs, terrorists, cartels,

(01:22:48):
our border and our foreign adversaries. That is what the
American people expect, and that is what they deserve from
the Department of Justice.

Speaker 2 (01:23:00):
You're here, Pam. She wasn't done there, though again it's
just going to be. This one is going to be.
Yesterday was a joke and it was grandstanding, and you'll
get a little bit of that today. But today's a
little bit different because her resume compared to Pete Hegseth,
is so much better. She's been a prosecutor big time,

(01:23:21):
she was an age of a state. I think the
issue that most of them, and Dick Durbin said it is,
is if Trump tells you to do this, are you
going to drop everything and do that, or are you
going to follow the law and not weaponize your position
in the Department of Justice?

Speaker 37 (01:23:37):
Like the President, I believe we are on the cusp
of a new golden age where the Department of Justice
can and will do better if I am confirmed. Lastly,
and most importantly, if confirmed, I will fight every day
to restore confidence and integrity to the Department of Justice

(01:23:59):
and each of its components. The partisanship, the weaponization will
be gone. America will have one tier of justice for all.
In all this work, I'll collaborate closely with this committee.
I will work with all of you as I've committed
to do when I met with almost.

Speaker 1 (01:24:19):
All of you, and I will partner not only with.

Speaker 37 (01:24:22):
The federal agencies, but with the state and local officials
throughout our great country. I look forward to answering your
questions today and working together for this country and our constitution.

Speaker 2 (01:24:39):
There you go, Pam Bondy a little bit of her
opening statement. By the way, can we little side note here?
Fifty nine? Really somebody lying about their age because you
look about forty, ma'am. I'm just letting you guys know that,
Oh my lord, living good is what I'm saying. Three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four, twenty three at che Benson Show,

(01:25:00):
it's your Twitter tweet at a text of program. Yes,
she's definitely a she her if you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (01:26:26):
Chad Benson.

Speaker 2 (01:26:28):
No, it's time to find out what's trending. What's trending?
James Dean.

Speaker 6 (01:26:40):
Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Russia, Serenam.

Speaker 3 (01:26:52):
What truping?

Speaker 2 (01:26:57):
Let us find out what's trending today. Let's start with
the uh whoooo Korea Mark Way Mum. If you don't
know who he is, play some of his stuff coming up,
some of the hits from yesterday's pete hegseeth whatever it

(01:27:21):
was hearing. I guess Grandstanding. Capital One has been accused
of cheating people out of two billion dollars in interest.
Nancy Mace, Boston Bruins, Detroit, Lyons, Deontay Johnson, Seth Myers,
and Robert Mackeray character actor. He's on Cheers and a
bunch of other shows. He's one of those guys or

(01:27:42):
gals you might see out there and you're like, I
know you, but I don't know where I know you.
One of those guys works every day in acting. Well
he did un till he passed away, but you really
can't place his name. Not a star but a worker,
if that makes sense.

Speaker 13 (01:27:59):
A goop.

Speaker 2 (01:28:01):
Nancy Mace, Tony Slattery XRP. Deontay Johnson football player been
released after two games Brentford and Man City. I didn't
watch the game yesterday, but it was the afters where
Pep Guardiela, the amazing manager of Man City, went after

(01:28:22):
his goalie and it it was a lot of yelling
than hugging violently, then yelling, then hugging violently. TikTok band. Oh,
that's a big topic around my house. I'll tell you
that right now. Rashida Jones, formerly of MSNBC. She's stepping
down and the external revenue service finally over to Twitter

(01:28:46):
where everything is crazy. Hegxeth rams, Tim Kaine, TikTok Carrie
Crockett red note is that the next thing to be
banned three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four to
twenty three at Chadminton Show, it's your Twitter right here
in the Chad Benson Show, sec Deef, Senator Jack Smith,

(01:29:11):
Pentagon Portfolio Day. Just a few things out there in
the magical world of Twitter. Now you know what is trending?
My friends? Speaking of John Wayne Mullins yesterday during the
hearing of Pete Hegseth, they grilled him about him being
a drunk and him drinking all the time on the

(01:29:33):
job at Fox. Blah blah blah blah. Would you resign
if you even had one drink? And he brought this up.

Speaker 14 (01:29:39):
The Senator for Virginia starts bringing up the fact that
what if you showed up drunk to your job? How
many senators have showed up drunk to vote at night?
Have any of you guys asked him to step down
and resign for their job? And don't tell me you
haven't seen it, because I know you have. And then
how many senators do you know have got a divorce
before cheating on their wives?

Speaker 11 (01:29:59):
Did you add them to step down?

Speaker 26 (01:30:01):
No?

Speaker 14 (01:30:02):
But it's for show, and you want to sit there
and say that he's not qualified.

Speaker 2 (01:30:05):
Give me a joke.

Speaker 14 (01:30:07):
I mean, it is so ridiculous that you guys hold
yourself as this higher standard and you forget you got
a big plank in your eye.

Speaker 2 (01:30:13):
Oh, I like that. He was spot on there by
the way he was. Yesterday was one of the great
showy days that I have seen in a while. Even
for them, some of the stuff was ridiculous. It was,
Oh my lord, Happy Wednesday everybody. If you miss any

(01:30:36):
of the show, he's saying, shame on you, make sure
you grabbed the podcast. It really helps us out. Check
out Chat Benson Show TV on the YouTube as well.

Speaker 38 (01:30:44):
This is the Chat Benson Show.

Speaker 17 (01:30:56):
The Chat Benson Joe.

Speaker 1 (01:31:17):
The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (01:31:20):
California's burned and his name was Jim Kennedy. Kennedy is
in public policy research. He knows all things about California
politics in general. But you do live in California, Jim.
You study California politics, and your politics is causing everything
to burn down, not yours, but the state.

Speaker 39 (01:31:36):
Yes, unfortunately that is true. We are in a state
of disaster in the South. We have another set of
sat Ana Wins due to show up probably sometime between
right about now and in the next twelve hours, and
we'll see what happened. Like For example, last night they
had a fire started by a homeless group in the
Hanson damn Silmore area, which you probably know and luckily

(01:32:00):
was right up against apartment or not luckily, but unfortunately
was up against the apartment complex and it burned. It burned
close to the car ports, send some car ports. They
were to knock it down quickly before the winds got there.
But yeah, but that's because we don't do anything about
homeless people. We just let them live their lives as
they choose. It is not for us in California to
question if you want to be a homeless person camp

(01:32:20):
out all the time because you don't want to follow
rules of being in a shelter or anything. So yeah,
but politics are beginning to come back and kill all
of us. But hopefully somemost can get out alive.

Speaker 2 (01:32:30):
You know, Jim, you talk about that. I mean, all
kidding aside. The reality is there is a sense right
now that this is going to change some politics, not
all politics. California has always been a left leaning state,
it will always be that way. But progressive insanity I
feel as being chipped away from the recalling of what's

(01:32:53):
his name up in San Francisco, to the gascon to
several other little things you've seen over the last I
would say two three years. I feel like it's being
chipped away, and I feel like this took a huge
chunk out of a lot of stuff.

Speaker 39 (01:33:07):
Yeah, that was Chasboden, who's the day up at DA
Up in San Francisco. I would agree that the only
problem was when it came time to recall Gavin, nobody
showed up and they all said, oh, nope, Gavin's good,
we don't need to recall him.

Speaker 13 (01:33:18):
In in fact, eighteen months later they re elected him again.

Speaker 2 (01:33:20):
I bet they're having second thoughts on that one.

Speaker 39 (01:33:23):
Well, yeah, unfortunately he's turned out you only get two terms,
so he's gonna have to take a hike. But of course,
as we all know, he does have higher aspirations, and
it works out perfectly for him in January of or
December of twenty twenty six or January of twenty twenty seven,
perfectly in time for twenty eight presidents are running and
announce his candidacy. Now, I think he's gonna do it
either way, but I don't think there is any chance

(01:33:45):
that he even gets the nomination after this because a
simple question for any reporter, Gavin Newsom, you know you
were governor for eight years how is your state better
off over those eight years? And he could try to
throw a word salad answer at them, but there's nothing
in there of any tangible.

Speaker 13 (01:33:59):
He has no accomplishments.

Speaker 39 (01:34:01):
There's nothing that he's done that anybody can basically point
to and saying this is why California is better.

Speaker 13 (01:34:06):
It's a joke and he's not going to be able
to get very far with that.

Speaker 2 (01:34:10):
No, No, you're not going to win on that one.
Talking to Jim Kennedy, Kennedy answered Public Policy Research, I'm
watching the Karen Basses of the world. I'm watching the
Gavin Nussoms of the world. And I've been saying this,
and you know you and I've talked about we've taxed
back and forth last several days. Leaders lead and this

(01:34:30):
isn't about whose fault it is. It's about how can
we get everybody through this? And the more I watch
both of them, the more I realize they're only in
it to make sure that everybody understands it's somebody else's fault.
And in no way, shape or form, do they really
seem to have any idea how awful they look to
anybody outside of their little sphere.

Speaker 39 (01:34:52):
No, but I think Gavin does have enough political acumen
to know that he is that. I think he figured
that out sooner than Bass did, and I think that's
why he's been trying to look like a leader.

Speaker 13 (01:35:02):
He's failed miserably at it.

Speaker 39 (01:35:04):
And I don't doubt that that that with for one
second that he will throw her under the bus if
he knows it can make him look better and basically
and drop all of this on her. And I don't
think she's quite a stude enough to understand how to
handle that. If Gavin comes out her and just is
just gonna it's just gonna run her over with a
bus and barrier with this stuff and the blame and
the investigation he's already started.

Speaker 13 (01:35:26):
So I think he's he's a little more political astude
than she is.

Speaker 39 (01:35:29):
He's playing checkers, He's playing chess, She's playing checkers. I
think she's going to get rolled over by this and
this may be the end of her political career, and
Gavin is going to think that he can go on
from here. But again I doubt that there is much,
But I think he's going to come out if there
is such a thing a winner between the two, I
think he's going to come out ahead between the two
unless something happens that that that is not foreseeable at

(01:35:52):
this point.

Speaker 2 (01:35:53):
Talking to Jim Kennedy, Kennedy answered Public Policy Research, let's
jump to Trump going to be in five days. Everybody
getting ready for that. He's got nominees going Pete hegseth.
I believe all of his nominees are gonna get through.
And I remind people of this. If you're up there,
they know you got the votes. So that's the way

(01:36:14):
this thing works to you know, the heg sec thing.
It was, quite frankly, was embarrassing. The Democrats were embarrassing.
Even some other Democrats were like shaking their head, going, wow,
we look awful in this. You know, these hypotheticals like
do you think murder's bad? You know, like, what are
you talking about? What happened?

Speaker 13 (01:36:35):
Though?

Speaker 2 (01:36:35):
Jim, Like, cause, I go back. I was looking at
William Cohne. I go back to the days I was
looking at Albright. I was looking at all of these people,
you know, twenty thirty years ago they were confirmed. Go
back to Ruth Bader Ginsberg ninety nine zero. What the
hell happened to us?

Speaker 13 (01:36:52):
We've become a tribal nation, as you're well aware of.

Speaker 39 (01:36:54):
That's what it is. Everybody's got to get there. They
got to get they gotta get their shots in, they
got to get their talking points in. Yeah, it was
pretty bad yesterday. Looking at you know, going through this stuff,
it's think interesting. I mean, there are some good points
you can hit him on, and they really just kind
of didn't. This kind of made them comical or are
basically so over the top? Did they look buffoonish when

(01:37:15):
they were doing it? And you know, it's like, you
guys could have just done this in a serious way,
but it seems like they didn't. They chose the road
that's going to get them the most amount of airtime
on c Span two or something from what it looked like.
And I hope he squeaks through the question. Will also
you know, looks like he and possibly oh, what's your

(01:37:37):
name is social Security Advice? Yeah, toll Sie, sorry are
the two that are probably at the most danger right now.
And her is more like she just has to agree
to agree to things and otherwise, you know, she may
not make it through.

Speaker 13 (01:37:51):
So I'll have to see.

Speaker 39 (01:37:51):
But but yeah, the rest of them, they should they
should have at least four or five in place on
the afternoon of the twentieth when when Trump after Trump's
worn in.

Speaker 2 (01:38:00):
So he's gonna be sworn in and first hundred days,
I mean it's going to be important because you know,
Rachel Maddow's coming out of retirement from whatever she was
retired from to do the first hundred days of Trump's
presidency to justify her twenty five million dollars year salary.
What are you expecting Because I remind everybody this. A

(01:38:20):
lot of people are excited, but I say this, no
matter how hard Trump tries, He's not a genie or
a wizard. There are processes. There's gonna be lawsuits. We'd
already know that California's reving up places burning, but they're
worried about how they can fight against Trump. But there's
gonna be a tons of lawsuits. What do you expect
that is actually going to get done that may stick

(01:38:41):
in those first hundred days.

Speaker 39 (01:38:43):
I think Trump's going to throw a whole ton of
executive orders at things.

Speaker 13 (01:38:46):
They're going to get the border back to where it.

Speaker 39 (01:38:48):
Was, even though Joe, I mean, Joe has brought it
down some, but all he did was just stopped undoing
the stuff that Trump did. He didn't do anything that
was different from what Trump did. He just puts some
of Trump's pieces back together. Trump will put all of
them back together. I think they will start rounding up
criminal illegal aliens, you know, within hours of them taking over.
I'm not going to say they're gonna get one hundred,
you know, they're gonna get a million in the first

(01:39:09):
month or something. But they're gonna start going after them.
And that's really what I mean, that's really what they want.
They're not going after the families or the dreamers right now.
There's something There are so many criminal illegals in the country. Like,
for example, one of the guys that's a suspect or
a person of interest for one of the fires in
West Hills turned out to be an illegal alien who's
a convicted felon. That guy is probably going to be

(01:39:30):
back on a bus to Tijuana or to wherever it is.
They're going to send them back to whatever country he
came from. And those are going to be the ones
that are going to get rid of the people that
are that are committing crimes in New York City and
all over.

Speaker 13 (01:39:41):
So pick those up. Those are easy to process.

Speaker 39 (01:39:43):
You've got some of them in jail already, send them
back some work on drilling. I think he's going to
try to reverse the Biden ban on the offshore drilling.

Speaker 13 (01:39:52):
Would be some of the ones.

Speaker 39 (01:39:53):
The one that they're not looking at the unfortunately, which
is the problem is is the budget deficit. I don't
know what they're doing. I don't know if they're going
to turn that all over to Elon in the Doge
Department to handle that. But we've got to do something
about the budget because we are running such a large
deficit that's anny of the national debts so quickly that
we're really going to start squeezing out dollars. I mean,
within five years we're not got have enough money to

(01:40:15):
pay the interest and have an increasing national defense position,
and that's going to be a problems.

Speaker 2 (01:40:20):
Talking to Jim Kennedy Kennedy Institute Public Policy Research as
we wrap it up here, so are you looking forward
to what could be? Because I continue to tell everybody
Trump doesn't have four years, He's got eighteen months. Because
if he can't get stuff sorted out in eighteen months,
people are going to look to change the Senate and
potentially the House, and then Trump will have two years

(01:40:42):
of basically fending off a tax and arguing with people
and whatnot. So he's really got eighteen months. What do
you feel that he get done of those eighteen months.

Speaker 13 (01:40:54):
Well, I think they can keep the tax cuts through.

Speaker 39 (01:40:56):
I'd like to think that dogs can do something about
cutting spending, the size of government in general, maybe not
just spending, but the side of the government, crack down
on illegals, and probably work on the foreign policy as
far as the war in Ukraine, come up with some
sort of ceasefire there, stabilize the Middle East a little bit,

(01:41:18):
and maybe some other things. You go, so don't know
what's going to come out of nowhere. You don't know
there's going to be a black Swan event.

Speaker 2 (01:41:24):
And that's you know what, I'm not gonna lie to you.
I continue to think that there is going to be
something this year that is going to be eye opening
for everybody. You know, everybody's focusing on the fires and
they're looking at all of these things. But you know,
a week and a half ago we were talking about
a guy who drove through a bunch of people in
New Orleans and the risk of what else may be

(01:41:47):
out there. I still feel like there's there's it's that
kind of calm before the storm.

Speaker 39 (01:41:52):
Yeah, mostly, yeah, most most definitely a couple of things
of that. One is super Bowls coming up in New
Orleans in three weeks again, or if that's gonna be
a problem, And.

Speaker 13 (01:42:02):
You don't know, we don't know.

Speaker 39 (01:42:04):
How many people have come across that border or not
just people from South America or Central America looking for
a better life.

Speaker 13 (01:42:11):
There could be people coming across that.

Speaker 39 (01:42:12):
Border that want to harm us, and they're using that
opportunity to get people in the country and position them
for things three months, six months, nine months, a year
in advance. Anybody that's gonna play the slow game and
that's patient gonna unfortunately, probably do a lot of harm
to us over the next eighteen months. Like you've said,
and I don't think back to your early point, I
don't think Trumps has much more than than maybe twelve

(01:42:34):
months to do anything, because you start getting into twenty
six January first, you're gonna start looking at the twenty
twenty six midterms, and as we know, midterms are generally
not good for the party in power. So you know,
if Trump's gonna be anything but a lame duck. He's
gonna have to do a lot of stuff, and you
have to do it in probably twelve months, or at
least make efforts to make things look better in the
first twelve months.

Speaker 2 (01:42:53):
You think Jim iffee, if he dials back immigration, he's
able to come to some agreement through the Middle East.
It's never gonna be peace, right, like, let's be real,
not peace the way that we would think, you know, utopia,
but to get it back to a certain calm, get
out of the Ukraine and Russia thing, and you know,
keep the economy rolling. I look at that and I think, man,

(01:43:15):
you do that, you're sitting pretty even if you do
three of the four of those. But if you miss
on more than a few, if you get an economy
that's not going well, there's still wars going on.

Speaker 39 (01:43:28):
Well, the border's not secure. I think the border security
is it to me? Is his easiest big win?

Speaker 13 (01:43:32):
Yeah? Aint yeah, I think that's the lowest hanging fruit
for all of it.

Speaker 39 (01:43:36):
I mean, maybe Ukraine, if you basically get them to
acquiesce to the fact they're not going to get the stuff,
they're gonna get crimea back.

Speaker 13 (01:43:43):
Unfortunately, I don't think it's.

Speaker 2 (01:43:44):
Right now it is what it is.

Speaker 39 (01:43:46):
Other than we go to war, we go to nuclear
war with Russia. It's simply not gonna happen. So they're
gonna have to see that. I apologize and I'm sorry
for them for that, but I think they can pretty much,
you know, pretty much clean that up, hopefully and get
some get some line drawn into Ukraine and and let
Ladimir go back to whatever is Vladimir's doing.

Speaker 13 (01:44:05):
And again what.

Speaker 39 (01:44:06):
You said, Yeah, basically what we call peace in the
Middle East is lack of conflict.

Speaker 13 (01:44:10):
I guess is the thing where we.

Speaker 39 (01:44:11):
Call best way to describe it, it's eminent conflict rather
than actual conflict in the Middle East.

Speaker 2 (01:44:17):
Love having you on. Don't burn down, Jim, be safe,
keep your head on a swivel. Jim Kennedy. Kennedy ins
the of Public Policy Research. Good talking to you, brother.
We'll do it again next week.

Speaker 13 (01:44:27):
Thank you, chat. I appreciate that.

Speaker 2 (01:44:28):
It's our good buddy. James, love me some, James.

Speaker 13 (01:44:32):
God.

Speaker 2 (01:44:32):
California is a mess, the state I once called my home.
It's a hot friggin mess. Rough greens. If you get Californias,
some rough greens give it to their politicians. See if
that helps. You know what rough greens does help your dog,
your cat? Meow greens, that's right, Jed meow greens. Rough
greens is amazing. It's got vitamins, minerals, probiotics and make

(01:44:52):
it three six' nine all that stuff. You guys heard
me talk about this, right, it's nothing new to you,
meow greens. Maybe maybe he's new to you. So we
have our new cat. It's got a great cool name.
I'm not gonna tell it to you now. Let's just
say Buckaroo is one of his names. He is on
meogreens and he loves it. In fact, he sits there.
His food's out unless we put stuff on top of it,

(01:45:14):
he's not gonna eat it. And I love that meogreens
helps keep him healthy. It helped our other cat, our
other cat angus hinnonmous cat bad allergies. Skin was a mess,
not anymore. In fact, the cone of shame is off
of our cat angus. If you love your animals like
I love my animals, do the right thing. Give him
rough greens for meogreens with vitamins, minerals, probiotics and make

(01:45:35):

here on the Chad Benson Shure.

Speaker 1 (01:46:12):
Deep States No deep doo doo, Yeah, the Chat Benson Show.

Speaker 23 (01:46:19):
We're watching really closely for wing gus a forty five
to even seventy miles per hour. It won't be consistent,
it will come through canyons, but when it comes it
can make explosive fire growth even colder next week down
to Texas and that means more offshore flow in Santa
Ana wins for southern California, yikes.

Speaker 2 (01:46:34):
We'll see what happens over the next So i'd say,
I really say thirty six hours, these are going to
be really tough hours because a lot of it, no
matter how they fight, is going to be predicated on
the weather.

Speaker 13 (01:46:49):
Woo.

Speaker 2 (01:46:50):
And as we talked about the weather, everybody's like, man,
if they got a good rain, no, what they need
is a drizzle. What they need is a sprinkle. They
don't need a hard rain because after hard fire and
nastiness that we've seen in southern California, should rain show up,
what ends up happening is mud slides, and that is ich.

(01:47:12):
You want no part of that. If you are thinking about, man,
what should we do in case of emergency? The bug
out bag right, the grab and go bag, and they're different.
The bug out bag is I'm done with the world,
I'm done with this life. I'm going off grid. I'm
taking my gold, my guns and mecal and I'm bouncing.

(01:47:32):
The grab and go bag is absolute things You must have,
your documents, like the things you need, your passport, stuff
of that nature. Like absolutely make sure you get digital
backup as best as you possibly can, because that helped
me as much as it could because we had you know,
I had my stuff stolen, which was just infuriating. But

(01:47:54):
everything that is absolute, must your phone chargers, those things. Yes,
not so much the memories, but the things that will
get you through the next forty eight to seventy two
hours if you have to flee. We like to give you, guys,
little stuff that's what we do here, right, that's how
much we love you. We give you a little bit

(01:48:16):
of things like this to help you out just a
little bit. And we talked yesterday. You don't need a
ton of food. You don't need any of that stuff. Okay,
it's not a zombie apocalypse. It's not a global thing.
It's localized, and they'll have plenty of that stuff in
certain areas in case you do have to flee. It's
just about having the next few days of things that's

(01:48:39):
important and the stuff that would be a nightmare to
replace and take your god knows how long. Three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four to twenty three at Chadminton Show,

On Purpose with Jay Shetty

On Purpose with Jay Shetty

I’m Jay Shetty host of On Purpose the worlds #1 Mental Health podcast and I’m so grateful you found us. I started this podcast 5 years ago to invite you into conversations and workshops that are designed to help make you happier, healthier and more healed. I believe that when you (yes you) feel seen, heard and understood you’re able to deal with relationship struggles, work challenges and life’s ups and downs with more ease and grace. I interview experts, celebrities, thought leaders and athletes so that we can grow our mindset, build better habits and uncover a side of them we’ve never seen before. New episodes every Monday and Friday. Your support means the world to me and I don’t take it for granted — click the follow button and leave a review to help us spread the love with On Purpose. I can’t wait for you to listen to your first or 500th episode!
