Speaker 1 (00:11):
The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
Is it the man that's making the cuts or is
it the cuts themselves? You know, when I watch the Democrats,
who I have never seen a party in more disarray,
a party that is continuing to go in the wrong direction,
who focus on the worst thing they can focus on
(00:38):
at the time, I've never seen a party fall this fast,
and yet they continue to do the same thing over
and over. And the Elon Musk thing is fascinating to
me because they freak out, they're hyperbolic at times, they're
(01:07):
so over dramatic, and the average American person's looking and going, yeah,
I got no problem. If you've got that, I got
no problem. You guys are having to do what we've
had to do forever and that doesn't bother me. But
he's a billionaire. I don't care he's successful. I want
to remind everybody who's the person you want to run
(01:31):
something in government? Are? Are we just looking for idiots?
Speaker 3 (01:34):
Is that it?
Speaker 2 (01:35):
And that's why I ask is it the person rather
than the cuts? Because I feel like as much as
it is about the cuts, in some areas, it's as
much about the person making those cuts because he's evil,
(01:58):
he's bad, he's all the things that the Democrats have
warned us about, right, he's all the things the Democrats
have warned us about him for years and years. Don't
cross your eyes, they'll get stuck. Don't sit too close
to the TV, it'll ruin your eyes. Don't eat pop
(02:19):
rocks and coke. Who knows what will happen to you.
And definitely don't listen to Elon Muscus. He's evil.
Speaker 4 (02:29):
I want to privatize Social Security and Medicare and Medicaid
and the veterans administration and public education.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
Oh oh, they want to get rid of the public
education side of it from the federal side. That of
course Bernie Sanders with the usual he wants to do this,
and he's oligarchs.
Speaker 5 (02:53):
What these guys, the oligauts and the billionaires want to
do is cut program after program, including education, in order
to give massive tax.
Speaker 4 (03:06):
Breaks to the very richest people in this country.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
Shay wooo. It's as much about Elon. It's the guy
who's making the cuts that they're angry with. Yes, the
cuts matter to them, but he's that new villain. It's
what I said the day that Trump was inaugurated. Trump
(03:33):
has something that he's never had before. He's got a sidekick.
He's got a person that is next to him who
is going to take as much slings and arrows and
you know, ground fire if you will, in the media
and in social media as Trump does, and Trump sits
(03:54):
back and laughs because he's like, all right, I got
somebody else, you know, and go do some other stuff.
And as I'm doing that, they are only focusing on
this guy. It is the singular thing that they're focused on.
There's no doubt about it, because he is the ultimate villain.
As bad as the Orange Man is, the Nazi, Elon
(04:15):
is something worse. He's half a trillionaire. He's a person
who is just the worst kind of worst because he
was white. He's got kids, and oh my god, he's
all the bad things that the parents warned us about.
Speaker 6 (04:34):
Ah.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
Is it the cuts or the cutter, that's the question.
Whatever it is outside of some progressives, you know, in
the media world, outside of some progressives who are activists
on the social media side of stuff, the average person's going,
(05:00):
we've all had to cut. Maybe it's time for you
guys to do the same thing. Maybe, Dean Phillips.
Speaker 7 (05:05):
When I ran for president, that was one of my
propositions to engage one of the world's foremost consulting ferns
to literally look at the entire federal budget and make
thoughtful recommendations to Congress about how we could actually become
more efficient, more effective. Unfortunately, Democrats are only focused on
one thing right now, mister Musk. The fact of the matter,
he's quite popular. He has the largest platform in human history,
(05:27):
which is of course Twitter, slash X, and I think
we're missing the boat as Democrats, And all I'm saying
is that sometimes it's better to join them and actually
play a role in how the strategy works, rather than
so pathetically, frankly try to combat something that clearly is
a steamroller.
Speaker 2 (05:46):
Clearly is a steamroller. Dean Phillips, he's what I like
to call a Democrat. He's not a progressive, he's not
a nut. He's a logical liberal who's looking at this going,
first of all, you're not going to stop some of
the stuff. Secondly, you guys are picking a fight with
the person making the cuts. The cutter, and many of
(06:09):
the stuff that he's suggesting is very popular even amongst
the average Democrat who looks out there and goes, yeah,
I don't know if we need to spend X amount
of dollars for this in some far away land. I
don't know if we need to push this idea that
(06:29):
may make sense here in the West, but in other
parts of the world it doesn't fly.
Speaker 7 (06:34):
I think Democrats should join the club and then have
more credibility to actually raise the alarm about constitutional issues.
Right now, it's the boy who cried Wolf.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
Amen, it's not true Chet, that's all they focus on,
Joy Reid and Mehdi Hassan. A deal of JD.
Speaker 8 (06:49):
Rockefeller, for instance, being in the Oval Office standing there
while the actual President of the United States is giving
a press conference would be absurd in that era.
Speaker 9 (06:57):
Because he loves the actual President of the United.
Speaker 8 (06:59):
States clearly is he's standing over Trump. I think it
is the weakest Donald Trump has ever looked. Yes, as
he couldn't even really stop.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
The child from talking.
Speaker 8 (07:07):
Right, the child had more power in that room.
Speaker 3 (07:10):
Than he did.
Speaker 9 (07:10):
You see the photo doing the rads of the little
kids saying why are you sitting of my dad's check Trump?
I mean iconic image and mean because it does speak
to the moment we're in.
Speaker 2 (07:21):
Focus on it. You know what that I said yesterday,
and I'll say it again, humanized. When John F. Kennedy
had John Boy in there, there's pictures of him underneath
the resolute desk and with it. Oh, those are heartwarming.
Well what he happened? Here a little kid who was
(07:43):
bored but also having fun, hanging out with the two
most powerful people maybe in the history of mankind. And
he doesn't care because that's just dad, and that's just
a guy. That's it. Well, they're just like us. They
got kids in the whole nine yards. Look at it now.
The focus is on the cutter because they want to
(08:04):
make him the new evil, because they know they're not
going to have Trump forever, so making Elon the evil
man that works.
Speaker 9 (08:11):
This is a government even without Musk, you had Trump
and his billionaire friends. His first cabinet in his first
time was the richest cabinet ever. His second cabinet is
the richest cabinet ever.
Speaker 10 (08:19):
It is a.
Speaker 9 (08:20):
Government of billionaires by billionaires, four billionaires.
Speaker 2 (08:23):
But in this way, I can't think of it.
Speaker 9 (08:25):
I can't think of a parallel in a foreign country.
I can't think of a parallel in modern American history,
where again, the billionaires aren't just running a department or
getting favors or getting policies that they want, or even
like a dropped SEC investigation. No, No, he's running the
whole running.
Speaker 2 (08:39):
By the way, that is at the core of this.
Speaker 9 (08:41):
DOJ has been investigating his company's sec. Multiple US government
agencies were investigating musk companies.
Speaker 2 (08:48):
That all goes away now.
Speaker 9 (08:50):
And he makes money at the same time, he's concling
nine hundred words billion of a million of education Department
of Education money, all sorts of cuts.
Speaker 3 (08:58):
And yet, as you mentioned, a thirty mins.
Speaker 2 (09:00):
On a contract on Monday.
Speaker 3 (09:01):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (09:01):
Again, if I was in the writer's room in Hollywood
writing the Trump second toe, you would say that's unreallystic.
We can't have that story one where you get thirty
eight million one.
Speaker 3 (09:08):
No, they're doing it.
Speaker 2 (09:10):
Yeah. By the way, the Department of Education that cuts
eight hundred and eighty one million dollars. They could hope
all they want. They could say, we're going to cut
all this all they want, or we're going to eliminate
this all they want. Remember, Congress has the purse strings,
and at some point in time they're going to have
(09:30):
to stand up and say, you guys can't do that,
and we're going to have to be the one that
gets this done. But it's got you talking, and you've
got your new villain just in case, and he is
that villain. If this was a group of men and
(09:51):
women who were forensic accountants nerds, and you brought them
in and they suggest the exact same thing as Elon,
would it resonate the same way? No? Probably not as
(10:12):
far as the boy who cried wolf scenarios, Dean Phillips
there is said there. They'd be upset still by the cuts,
but it wouldn't have that same kind of ohh my
god that they crave. They look weak because they are
at this point in time. We're gonna talk about that
in a little bit three two, three, five, three eight,
(10:33):
twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson's show is
your Twitter tweet at as text the program one of
the other things we're covering right now, And like anything,
it will change throughout the day. So this is not
the end all to be all when it comes to this.
Understand that in Munich, that is in Germany, there has
been an attack. A twenty four year old Afghan asylum
(10:55):
seeker has been taken into custody as he out his
car through a bunch of people near a security conference.
The German authorities are saying it is a deliberate attack.
He was arrested at the scene, and obviously they're going
(11:17):
to investigate the motives. But if it's a deliberate attack
and he's an asylum as seeker from Afghanistan, I'm going
to go out on the limb and say it's probably
not brought worse or beer he's upset with. We'll find
out Germany. You'll try to spend it. I'm sure is like, no,
his foot just slipped. But we'll throughout the day, we'll
be touching on this and this will change, I'm sure
(11:38):
over the next twenty four hours forty eight hours. So
just putting that out there. Three two, three, five, three eight,
twenty four to twenty three Atchad Benson Show is your
Twitter tweet at his ticks the program Bullwerk Capital, My
good buddy and yours. Zack Abrahm, chief vedson officer at

(13:11):
close are we to getting a seize fire in Ukraine?
It's gonna happen. It's not if, but when, and it's
how much is Ukraine going to have to realize they
have to give up. And it's also some assurances that
(13:37):
we're gonna have some peace. That's fine, we're gonna give
up some land, but we want more peace, meaning we
do not want this to fire up again and us
have to give up more land and lose more people.
And that's the fear that's out there is for the Ukrainians,
(13:59):
in particular for the Lensky that Okay, we agree to this,
We're going to give up some land over here, We're
going to capitulate in a few certain things that they
may want, and in doing so, what assurances do we
have that they're not going to start it up again
in six months.
Speaker 3 (14:20):
Or a year.
Speaker 11 (14:21):
There's some realism on the part of Ukraine about where
this is going. So what they're trying to do is
just try to get the best deal that they can,
but it sounds like they're being limited in their scope
right now.
Speaker 2 (14:32):
There are limited in their scope because they rely on
us in particular for weapons and Europe, but a lot
of that stuff is US. So remember, Russia has manpower.
They can throw a lot of people out there to die.
At some point, you're going to run out of people.
(14:54):
That's their goal is at some point we have two
much in the way of people, and you guys are
exhausted like the Russians, they're exhausted too. But you've fought
the good fight. You've done everything you possibly can. But
(15:14):
now reality sets in, and same thing for Putin. Putin's
reality set in three four weeks after the war started.
You realized he wasn't gonna get the key even roll
everybody over as easy as he thought. So what exactly
is going to happen? Yeah, there's gonna be some peace,
You're gonna give up land, But what is going to
be our role in the protection of them? Three two, three, five,
(15:40):
three eight, twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson Shows,
your Twitter, tweet at US text the program. Love hearing
from me right here in the Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 11 (15:50):
The United States will not support Ukraine joining NATO. And
so what you're hearing from Zelenski now is the plan B,
which is essentially, well, if we can't join NATO, then
come and allow us to get as many munitions as
we need so that we can essentially deter Russia.
Speaker 3 (16:08):
Yet again, I.
Speaker 2 (16:09):
Don't think that's going to happen either yesterday and I
don't know why. So you remember the Titan sub was
going to go down, look at the Titanic and it
was run by like a d battery and a guy
with his PlayStation controllers. Well, they're still investigating what happened,
and I think we knew what happened. Operator air builts
with duct tape and stuff that should never have been
(16:32):
used to go down that far, and the fact that
it pulled it off a few times was shocking. But
they released audio not of what went on inside, and
it is creepy.
Speaker 12 (16:43):
A few pieces at a time, the US Coast Guard
has released new evidence related to the tragedy. The latest
is a twenty second audio recording. It was captured by
an underwater microphone nine hundred miles from the spot of
Titan's last known position at the moment that had imploded,
killing the five men aboard.
Speaker 2 (17:02):
Think about that for a second. He's nine hundred miles
away underwater, and what that sounded like. Oh that's terrifying
those last few minutes. Again, it's it's already in a confined,
closed space down somewhere you don't belong because you don't
have I don't know gills just terrifying. Hope that made
(17:23):
you feel better? Three two, three, five, three eight twenty
four three had Jad Benson shows your Twitter. We do
have a feel good story that may be the best
field good story of the year already and we need it.
We're gonna talk about that a little bit later. Missing
the show, grab the podcast.
Speaker 13 (17:37):
It is the Jad Benson, Joe Son, Chad Benson Shoe.
Speaker 1 (18:01):
The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (18:03):
The Democratic Party is weak. They have zero leadership. They
have nothing to offer men, married women. They have nothing
to offer the common sense Democrat in this country. And
(18:28):
I'm not talking about your local person. I'm talking about
at the highest level, because as we all know, as
that goes in many cases, so goes your party. To
say that having a weak candidate at the top and
no leadership doesn't hurt the downstream would be a lie.
(18:51):
They are weak. They are They have nothing to offer
except fear. They have to offer except bigger government. Let
us do everything for you. You're not smart enough to
do certain things. We're here for you. Let's centralize everything,
give us all your power. We can help you. You're
(19:12):
a victim. They have demonized a portion of this country. Men,
for quite a while, and then they wonder why nobody
wants to be associated with their party. They have failed
to change any kind of path from what they did
leading up to the November election, which died a horrible death.
(19:36):
They're just doubling down on their insanity. Hysteria isn't appealing,
fear mongering is an appealing. It's sad, is what it is.
And we need two parties in this country. But you're
more conservative. I'm a Conservatorian, that's what I call myself.
But I recognize one party rule is ugly. See Calififornia,
(20:02):
they've only got one party, and well we know how
California is doing. You need to have guardrails, and you
need to have somebody you can fight with, debate with.
You need that. The Democrats offer no fight. The Democrats
(20:24):
offer nothing at this moment in time outside of hysteria
and that everybody's a boogeyman, and that we're here to
make sure that when they try to victimize you, we're
gonna save you. And everybody looks around and goes, no, no,
we're good, we're fine. Name me a strong Democrat mail
(20:50):
that you look up to and go yeah, yeah, right
like that guy. He's not out there going, oh my god,
they're going to destroy the we're old. Name me somebody
who's got a hold of the party that's not living
in hysteria. Name me that. Because your problem right now
(21:11):
is with men. It's all low tee. It's all low
te over there. Keep telling everybody how much they're awful
and how they're the root of all that is evil.
And then when you wonder why they've not apologized to
(21:33):
you and decided to throw in with you and do
whatever you ask, but instead they said f you and
win somewhere else, it's because that else was feeding them.
They're weak. They're going to continue to get weak because
they don't listen, they can't read the room. They do
(21:54):
not understand what is happening with the average person in America. Then,
when you're out there fighting for the bureaucrats, not for
the people, and you're talking about how awful it's going
to be that these people were fired or let go
or this, that and the other, you're talking to a
bunch of people that have been fired and let go,
(22:15):
got zero severance, who've lived their life in the private
sector and are like and you're rudderless and the wind
is blowing. You have no anchor, no ores at this
point in time, and you're going in the wrong direction.
Speaker 14 (22:36):
Yeah, they're not course correcting at all. You know, they're
saying stupid, it's all nonsense. They're understanding of social media
and the dynamics that you set up by having completely
state controlled mainstream media, where they only said the narratives
that you guys wanted. They all said it in step,
so you could watch different programs repeat the exact same words,
(22:58):
exact same phrases.
Speaker 2 (23:00):
We know they got talking points. We don't trust you anymore.
That right there is Joe Rogan Bridget Fatsy. We've had
her on the show. She's awesome, he's right, is echoing
what I've been saying for quite a while. You've alienated
a good portion. You've now allowed young, uber progressive women
(23:24):
to run the race for you, and they're continuing to
choose the wrong path. And then when you lose the race,
you look up and go, you know what, maybe next
time we should do something different. You say, let's double
(23:46):
down on this one.
Speaker 14 (23:47):
We don't trust the New York Times, we don't trust
to Washington Post, we don't trust CNN or any of
the MSNBC, but they're all full with propaganda, and so
that's why the Internet rose. It's not because there was
some sort of a right wing conspiracy and heavily funded.
You know, you got suck, You go suck, and you're
(24:08):
not real people and you're not like nobody wants to
hang out with Brian Stelter. You know what I'm saying
that none of these people are people that people can
actually relate to and light.
Speaker 2 (24:18):
So true, none of them not. It's I I joke
about the low tee thing, but it's true. Even when
I get some people who are progressives who argue, who
want to argue with me, and they don't even argue me.
(24:39):
They just want to yell at me in hysteria and no,
you're a Nazi, you're evil, you're bad. That's all they have.
That is all they have. They have imagination of everybody's
against them, and these people here are evil and successful
people are the ruin of the world and et cetera,
et cetera, And they freak out and they scream and yell,
(25:03):
and you can't have a conversation because they're not interested
in that. They're interested in their feelings and they're interested
in being hysterical and calling people names, but they're not
interested in anything other than that. They don't want to hear.
(25:23):
And I'm going to go over some tax and some
tweets from a bunch of people over the last twenty
four to forty eight hours, and a lot of it's
about Elon And I can almost to a person tell
you that there's probably been another forty in the last
twenty four hours that I haven't seen that will have
(25:44):
the word Nazi in it. The Democrats have not only
lost their way, they want to tighten their grip more,
which is terrifying if it does swing back the pendulum.
Republicans pay attention because you have people like Arianna Presley
who's running around saying things like this, let me tell
you something. I'll take a bit of Umbrich here. I'll
speak on behalf of my colleagues.
Speaker 15 (26:04):
I thing I can say, we are all willing to
work with anyone who's serious about doing the work of
censoring the American people and advancing progress.
Speaker 2 (26:16):
But they are not serious, and nor should they be.
You want to censor the American people, Explain to me
what that means. You want to censor my speech so
you can move forward, because the only way you feel
you can get forward is if you censor me, because
otherwise you're not gonna have a chance to move forward.
(26:37):
Maybe it's because when put into actual play, my ideas
resonate more than your ideas. The fact that you even
said that out loud is shocking, although it shouldn't be.
(26:58):
And the fact that any Democrat there didn't say, whoa whoa,
whoa whoah. We're not censoring anybody. If you can't win,
then shut them down. That's what people think. No rudder
wind pushing him in a direction that they don't want
to go. They've got no anchor, no way to turn
(27:18):
the ship. And Democrats, you have only yourself to blame
on this one, and you better figure it out soon.
Three two, three, five, three, eight, twenty four to twenty
three at Chad Benson shows your Twitter tweet hot is text?
The program Lean? Talk to you about Lean. My friend's
over there at Lean?
Speaker 3 (27:36):
What is Lean?
Speaker 2 (27:37):
You ask yourself? You guys know about yo yo dieting?
Right sucks? You don't want yoyo dieting? So awful? What's
yo yo dieting? You eat a yo yo? You don't
need a yo yo. But let's just say you put
on thirty pounds, You're like, I gotta lose the weight.
And you lose thirty pounds, you're like, I'm feeling good again.
Then you put on thirty five, Like and then what ah,
I gotta lose this thirty five. You drop thirty five
or forty, then you put on forty five. That's the
(27:59):
yo yo diet. Don't let that happen to you. There's
dangers there, high blood pressure, you raise the chance of
heart attacks. It's not good. That's what I want you
to do. I want you to try lean. Now you're
seeing yourself, Chad. What is lean well, First and foremost,
it's there to help you escape the frustrating cycle of
the yoyodyeting. There's no prescription, there's no shots. It's simple
(28:21):
supplement and the science behind lean is powerful. First and foremost,
it targets weight loss in three effective ways. One, maintain
healthy blood sugar, two, control appetite and cravings, and then
for me super important, burn fat by converting it into energy.
It's the solution that will work for you. Try it now,
(28:42):
save twenty percent. It's truly that simple. All you have
to do is go to take lean dot com and
use code Benz in twenty. That's take Lean dot Com,
use code Bentz in twenty, Take Lean dot Com, code
Benz in twenty. Coming up, we're gonna pivot. We're gonna
look out to America and say we need a heartfelt
(29:04):
story that is going to inspire us. And you know what,
there's a guy named Doug that's gonna do it. Chad
Benson Show.
Speaker 1 (29:19):
Irreverence, Like, yeah, so what, it's the Chat Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (29:25):
We talk a lot of politics and pop culture. Talk
about a lot of stuff here, and I'm I approach
everything in a much different way than a lot of
my brethren who I work with, is in this industry
who live in the world of hyperbolism and throw stuff around.
Has It's never been me. I'm not one of those
(29:46):
I overreact guys. I like to have fun. I look
at the funny side of stuff because you do this once,
make it count. And I bring that up because we
don't come together like we used to. We don't come
together as neighbors, as friends, right organizations like we used
(30:08):
to at all. Even you know, politics has seeped in
to churches and regular organizations and bowling leagues and everywhere,
and it's it's become way too insane. We're allowing algorithms
(30:28):
to dominate our world because it's good for whatever business
that is. And I bring that up because we need
to remind everybody, Hey, we're neighbors. How many of you
listening that have no idea who their neighbors are. I
will tell you this. The last places I lived, I
(30:51):
had no idea who my neighbors were, no idea, zero
names outside of one guy who I had lived there
for four years, and it was only until he started
working at the golf course that I lived that I
even knew he lived across the street from us. That's
that's what it was like. So a guy named Doug.
(31:14):
We're all gonna go to Doug's party, and if you
haven't got the invite, you're not invited. Doug's party's pretty exclusive.
Speaker 16 (31:23):
What.
Speaker 2 (31:25):
Yeah, Doug is eighty five, he's a widower, he lives
in Bucks County, and Doug, well, it was caught on
ring camera what Doug was doing.
Speaker 3 (31:37):
It was not.
Speaker 2 (31:37):
Nefarious, walking up cool day, He's got his cane, goes up,
this happens.
Speaker 17 (31:48):
I'm Doug crossed the sheet over here, right, I live
over that house there, and that's an invite to a
party on February fifteenth.
Speaker 2 (31:56):
Oh, so imagine that knock at the door, hand you
a little peace of paper, says I'm having a party
across the street on Saturday. Love it. He can come by.
So the lady goes in. She's a bit of a
TikTok influencer. And besides, I'm gonna post this because it's
(32:17):
just awesome.
Speaker 10 (32:18):
Okay, So we live in the suburbs and we have
the cutest neighbors, like all around. Everybody's just so sweet,
so nice, so accommodating, like just truly, we could have
asked for a better neighborhood. Today, I'm just sitting on
the couch and I hear a drop all rain, and
I'm like, what the heck?
Speaker 1 (32:35):
Click?
Speaker 10 (32:35):
Who could that even be? I opened the door and
it is our like eighty five year old neighbor who
is truly like such a sweetheart. He's walking over with
this cane and I still was like so unsure as
to like what he was even asking, or like what
he needed. And he gives me this little invitation that
literally looks like he used like some sort of like
(32:56):
pen to then like meet copies of these and give
them out to all of our neighbors. And it says
a celebration of winter, February fifteenth, four pm until the
cops arrived, Until the cops arrived.
Speaker 18 (33:10):
He's literally eighty five.
Speaker 10 (33:12):
It does, food and drinks will be there, only bring
a smile. Fristyp to his email and he gave his
phone number. Love Doug, I love old people like this
is the sweetest.
Speaker 2 (33:25):
Thing ever, and it is. He hand wrote it. Well.
Of course it went viral, got millions of views. Doug's
daughters had to reach out and say, he has no idea,
like what any of this TikTok famous is. He just
wants to throw another And apparently he does throw a
party because a couple of the neighbors have been to
some of his parties in the past, say, yeah, Doug
(33:46):
does throw a party. Now everybody's having a Doug party.
And yes it did say from four pm until the
cops come. Because that's Doug's thing, right. He's a little
bit like Blue, remember that it was so awesome, that's
my boy Blue. Doug's kind of the same way, but
(34:07):
a little sweeter, not as crazy. But it just I
think it reminds people, you know what, they're not the
other political party. They're just my neighbors. And we don't
do that enough. We don't take time enough for a
lot of people to realize that we don't. We're too
(34:31):
busy arguing with each other over stuff where we don't
get a trophy. Nobody wins a prize, and it's insane.
And I my wife says, have you heard about this
Doug's party, said this last week? I said no, no,
you know, I hadn't reached my algorithms yet. And I
looked it up and it was just like incredible. Oscar
(34:52):
meyer Wiener mobile was going to come by. Doug doesn't
want he doesn't want it to be crazy. He just
wanted to be for his neighbors. So the rest of
the world is going to throw their own parties, and
we're gonna do the same. We're gonna do a little
Doug dance party and have some fun here on Saturday
night with the kids, because I think it's just a
good thing and we need to remind everybody, you know what,
(35:12):
we're all in this together, whether you want to believe
it or not. And I think we need to take
time to relax and realize Doug is a good guy
and he's reminding of us of humanity three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four, twenty three at Chad Benson Show.
Is your Twitter tweet at us text the program. Love
(35:35):
hearing from all of you. Right here in the Chad
Benson Show. We're gonna have an update of what is
happening in Germany. Thirty plus people injured. An Afghan asylum
seeker plowed his Mini Cooper into a crowded Munich like
(35:57):
Farmers Market area and a nightmare to say the least.
Will have the latest on that. Plus I got some
more on what's going on with the Democratic Party. And
if you think you're having trouble employing gen Z and
the millennials, you're not alone, says the mob. Wait do
(36:19):
you hear the story? If you miss any of the show,
read the podcast. It is the Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 1 (36:23):
This is the Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (36:53):
Let's talk immigration, one of the big things that was
a driver in this last election. Ah gration. You want
to know Democrats, why you fail? You want to know
why that. Many people in the Democratic Party said, all right,
you know what, this is a little bit too much.
Because you allowed the border to be wide open, unfettered
(37:14):
access to the United States of America. Then the people
that you say, hey, we're here for the little people,
they started seeing their money, their benefits being put on hold.
Their situations got worse. They got usurped by your insanity.
(37:37):
That was an issue, a big issue. Where do we
start with the insanity today? How about UT hook em horns?
It's so much.
Speaker 12 (37:47):
There's been no evidence of ice raids on the UT
campus in Austin, but sophomore Genesis Britz says students brought
to the country by undocumented parents, so called dreamers, are
living in fear of ice agents.
Speaker 2 (37:58):
They are going to scare and and sifia.
Speaker 19 (38:00):
And not only are doctor recipient students, but the people
that work at this university.
Speaker 12 (38:04):
She wants UT declared a sanctuary campus. When a similar
call went up during Donald Trump's first term, Governor Greg
Gabbott threatened to cut state funding to the university.
Speaker 2 (38:13):
What do you think is gonna happen? Now, let's check
who's the governor. Oh yeah, that guy Abbot. And Abbot
saying no way, no way, here's something else. If you
really care about people that are here on documented who
(38:34):
haven't done anything. You know, they're hard working, they're down
the street. I don't want to see those people go
because it's first of all, I continue to say this,
It isn't gonna happen the way you think we're gonna
get to that in a second. Secondly, those people, in
many many cases, they provide a service to this country.
They love this country. They don't want to leave this country.
(38:55):
And while they came here illegally, there is a pathway
down the and it's got to be way down the
road when this thing becomes less political, to give them
the opportunity to potentially become citizens one day. But that's
way down the road. But the more that you go
and you played the games that so many cities and
(39:16):
states across this great land are playing, the more that
you do that, the more they get swept up in
situations where they wouldn't be the target, and they weren't
the target. But because the cities and states are not complying,
especially when it comes to the worst, first they get
(39:38):
caught up in it. Oh oh yeah, So then you
get lawsuits because that's what Pam Bondy has to do.
I can't believe she's sixty. She looks great for sixty.
Speaker 20 (39:50):
Attorney General Pam Bondi says the suit targeting New York's governor,
attorney general, and DMV commissioner is over the twenty nineteen
green Light law acquires the state to tell immigrants when
federal agencies request their data.
Speaker 2 (40:04):
It's a green light to illegal immigration.
Speaker 20 (40:06):
It's the second time the Trump Justice Department is suit
a Democratic led state over immigration enforcement. Last week it
was Illinois. Now it's New York.
Speaker 15 (40:14):
And if you are a state not complying with federal law,
your next get ready.
Speaker 2 (40:20):
It's funny that the Democrats are like, they're doing stuff
that's unconstitutional. Elon's bad, he's doing this, that and the other,
blah blah blah blah blah. And then on the other
side of it, you've got the Democrats in cities. They're like,
we don't need to follow any of the laws the Feds. Okay.
So del Cuerto, he is the second in charge at
(40:41):
the Border Patrol, was asked earlier about this situation, the
scenario that we were talking about with the lawsuits. You know,
whether it's a ut thing or it's a city thing.
Or a state thing, and about the frustration that they're
having because they're trying to do their job, and in
trying to do their job, they feel like they're fighting
(41:04):
several battles at once that they shouldn't be fighting.
Speaker 21 (41:08):
Well, you know, there's also some states and there's cities
that have brushed it off and said, well, we never
said we're a sanctuary city.
Speaker 2 (41:14):
And I'll just use Tucson as.
Speaker 21 (41:16):
An example, which is where I'm at. They've never said
it was a sanctuary city, but they certainly aren't doing,
you know, or pushing any efforts to try to assist
law enforcement and say, hey, we have groups in certain
areas that maybe need to be looked at. So that's also,
you know, going to be a big obstacle, and that's
why I liked it. She said, look, if you're not complying,
she didn't use the word sanctuary city, which is fantastic
(41:38):
and it shows that she understands that there's some cities
and states that haven't necessarily said there's sanctuary cities, but
they sure aren't complying as well.
Speaker 2 (41:46):
And as we talked about, if you're worried about the
husband and wife down the street, they got a couple
of little kids, and you're worried that all they could
be they could be gathered up by the evil Ice
agents in a massive, giant, huge immigration sweep because they're
(42:11):
looking for a couple worst first kind. And you decide, oh, well,
we're not going to tell you we've got the worst
first Well, fine, we think they work here. We're gonna
sweep this place here, and we're going to go in there.
And next thing you know, that guy's popped or she's popped,
and all of a sudden, everybody's freaking out. Oh, you
had the opportunity, but you decided not to. You're gonna
(42:34):
make this thing tougher and tough for all the time,
and then you wonder why you lost. When people who
are regular Democrats are looking around going, yeah, you know,
I'm not about throwing everybody out of here, but I'm
also not about protecting people that are in jail for crimes.
And you're like, we're gonna show the Trump administration by
(42:56):
mikeing sure they never ever ever have a chance to
catch this person. One of the other things it's not
being talked about is the fact that when you go
and you decide that you're going to be one of
these great sanctuary cities. What happens then is when ICE
(43:17):
comes to town and you don't actually comply because you're
standing up for whatever. What happens is everybody starts to
shut down because they're afraid ICE is looking for the
worst first, which puts people that are vulnerable already because
(43:37):
they think, oh, you know, I could get caught at
any moment. It puts them in a situation where they're
put in danger. NBC in Dallas was reporting the other
day about the fact that they're now underreporting or not
reporting at all, crimes against them because they feel if
(43:59):
we draw atention to ourselves, we're going to be in
trouble and we don't want that. So these gangs that
aren't really worried about whether or not they get caught
because they know, hey, if they send me back, I'm
just going to just head straight back up. Those people
know now they've got a captive group of people that
they can do just about anything they want to to them,
(44:19):
and nobody's going to stop them because they're afraid to call.
And that is not what you want, right Democrats. I'm
trying to figure it out. But don't worry because the
Pope is also made sure that everybody knows that it's bad,
bad to go after immigrants and asylum seekers, et cetera,
(44:41):
et cetera. And they've sent out a or he sent
out a letter to all of the bishops in America.
Speaker 22 (44:50):
The asylum system that has is a law that is
still in existence, but unfortunately being ignored right now.
Speaker 2 (44:59):
That's not true. It's not being ignored. If you have
a court case, and you have a court date, and
you're following along with what you're supposed to be doing,
they're not capturing you and throwing out that's not happening.
Speaker 22 (45:11):
We see it as our responsibility as Christians, much less
as leaders in the church, to care for the most
vulnerable and for the poor.
Speaker 2 (45:23):
That I got no problem with that. But there are laws,
and everybody knows that if you've come here illegally, you're
always in a position where there was a chance you
could get caught. Everybody knows that. Everybody does. But when
you go and protect the worst, because somehow you think
(45:47):
that if they go after the worst, they're going to
go after everybody, and you make it virtually impossible for
ice to do their job, you work against the United
States government. One of the very few things the FEDS
have have in their purview as something the federal government does,
which is immigration. When you work against that, that's insane
(46:08):
to me, it is. And then to top it all off,
who are the ones you are protecting?
Speaker 3 (46:16):
Now?
Speaker 2 (46:17):
Do I think they should be kicking in the doors
at school?
Speaker 3 (46:19):
I do not.
Speaker 2 (46:19):
Do I think they should be going to the houses
of worship.
Speaker 3 (46:21):
No.
Speaker 2 (46:22):
Now, if there are bad people in there, and you
know there's bad people in there, and you you whether
you're a priest or whether you're a teacher, and you're
harboring somebody you know is really really bad, which I
don't think is happening. That's that would be that way
if it was a bank robber who was born here.
Am I right? Keep doing what you're doing, You're gonna
(46:43):
keep getting what you get. Democrats and immigration is another
one of those things that's losing because you can't see
common sense through your BS three two, three, five, three eight,
twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson shows your
Twitter tweet at US text the program. Meanwhile, Europe has
their own issues with asylum and illegal immigration, and today
(47:07):
Munich is feeling that for sure, Lacau has.
Speaker 6 (47:10):
Roummed into a group of people in the southern German
city of Munich. Twenty eight people have now been injured.
Among them, there are critical injuries. A man has now
been taken into custody. He has been described as a
twenty four year old individual of Afghan origin.
Speaker 2 (47:26):
He's an asylum seeker. The police in Germany are saying
it was done on purpose. The motive of why he
did it is unclear. But I'm going to go out
on a limb again and say I have a feeling
it has a lot to do with his beliefs compared
(47:51):
to the belief and the values of the West. I
could be wrong, he could be upset about I don't
know something else, but my assumption is that's what it is.
But it's a It's just a guess it is. It's
a mini too. He hit everybody with a mini. Twenty
eight people, vile and disgusting. Will no more, I'm sure

Speaker 1 (49:49):
Chad Benson, you.
Speaker 2 (49:51):
Know when you think you've heard everything that is ridiculous
and stupid, and then you're like, hold on a second.
This person over here is going to say something, and
I have a it's going to be one of those
moments where she's telling everybody to hold her beer or spritzer,
depending on who the person is. This is a rep
from Illinois. Just listen.
Speaker 23 (50:15):
Yesterday I met with a manufacturing company, but they also
are engaged in getting young people more engaged in manufacturing.
So I asked them, so, how many of those students
that are signing up and want to do this, how
(50:36):
many are women? And they said, well, I know there's
at least thirteen percent or something.
Speaker 2 (50:46):
It was a low number, and you had.
Speaker 23 (50:49):
Mentioned trying to engage more women in manufacturing. I'm just
wondering if just the name manufacturing sounds like a guy.
Speaker 2 (51:01):
Wait, what did you say that out loud? You think
that women don't want to be in the manufacturing sector
because the word manufacturing sounds like a guy? What exactly
would you like to call it that would maybe lure
(51:23):
more women here. I'm curious. I mean, you have to
have something like this is you're an idiot, that's it.
You're delusional. What the hell is wrong with you? What
(51:43):
exactly would you say to somebody who's like, hey, do
you guys think that the reason that women don't want
to work inside of a loud building with a bunch
of giant machines or dangerous and do something redundant all day?
(52:04):
Do you think that that they don't want to debt
because of the word manufacturing? Three two, three, five, three eight,
twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson Show. It's
your Twitter, your Instagram, check out the Chad Benson Show
Facebook page, as well as Chad Benson Show TV. On
the YouTube, like and subscribe for the Chad Benson Show.
(52:30):
She said it out loud to other people in a hearing,
and if you want to know what the word manufacturing means,
it's not because a man. It's a middle aged French
word which means process of making. Oh my god, we're screwed. Meanwhile,
(52:51):
egg apocalypse continuing to bite down on us, the consumer everywhere.
Speaker 12 (52:57):
The nationwide bird flu outbreak has forced this slow of
millions of chickens, including egg laying hens, and in every bakery.
Speaker 9 (53:04):
Eggs are an important ingredient in everything that we.
Speaker 12 (53:07):
Make, including the Marti gros King kicks that Billy Gilbot
turns out at his bakery and Lafay at Louisiana.
Speaker 3 (53:13):
His hope is.
Speaker 2 (53:14):
That it's a temporary increase.
Speaker 12 (53:16):
So he'll eat the soaring egg price to keep his
customers eating the frosted gold, purple and green cakes that
Harold Martigross season every year.
Speaker 2 (53:25):
Hmmmm, egg prices through the roof. Inflation touched on it earlier.
It's still the thing, man, it's the economy stupid. I
don't know how much he's going to get inflation to
come down, But much like I said when Biden was president,
(53:45):
it's income as much as it's inflation. If you don't
get a raise but inflation goes up two percent, you're
still paying a little bit more and you haven't made anymore.
If inflation goes up four percent, but you got a
ten percent raise and you can maintain a continual growth
in your income, that's a win. We all want to
(54:06):
pay less. We recognize that. And we'll see how Trump
handles this, because at the end of the day, it's
still the economy stupid give missing the show, the podcast,
Chad Benson Him, The.
Speaker 1 (54:19):
Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (54:44):
Let's switch from the insanity of politics to the insanity
of the medical world. Let's start down Under with a
bunch of people who hate the Jews.
Speaker 1 (54:56):
You'll kill them.
Speaker 24 (54:57):
So if in Israeli is in the Australia and that's forbid,
something happened to him and.
Speaker 2 (55:02):
He comes to your hospital, would you kill him them them?
Speaker 25 (55:07):
Can I just ask you about your comments comments? Are
you anti Semitic? Did you kill patients at Bankstown? Why
did you make those threats? Ahmad Nade wasn't so camera
shy last night during this random online interaction with an
Israeli influencer.
Speaker 1 (55:24):
Are you a nurse a doctor?
Speaker 23 (55:26):
I'm a doctor moment.
Speaker 2 (55:29):
So that's a doctor and I think it's a nurse.
And they were having an interaction with an influencer from
Israel and they're talking about the fact that they would
love it if it Israeli came into their hospital and
was really, really sick or wounded so they could make
sure they died.
Speaker 25 (55:48):
He's a nurse at Bankstown Hospital and full of hate.
Speaker 2 (55:52):
But I'm so upset that Israeli, Like, eventually you're gonna
get killed and you're going to go.
Speaker 25 (55:55):
To Johanna Arabic for help.
Speaker 1 (55:58):
Why do you think I'm gonna get had killed?
Speaker 16 (56:00):
It's Palatin's country.
Speaker 2 (56:04):
That women.
Speaker 25 (56:04):
Amad's nursing colleague, Sarah Abu Lebedun.
Speaker 1 (56:08):
How are you doctors?
Speaker 16 (56:10):
I want you to remember?
Speaker 24 (56:12):
Okay, okay, I have a question though.
Speaker 25 (56:16):
All right, the vile video filmed while the nurses were.
Speaker 2 (56:20):
Working, while they were working, by the way, good he there. Yeah,
the hell's going on down und here. You need to
get your crap together.
Speaker 24 (56:29):
They let's say an Israeli I went and I'll kill them,
You'll kill them.
Speaker 1 (56:33):
So if an.
Speaker 24 (56:34):
Israeli is in Australia and that forbid something happened to
him and he comes to your hospital, would you kill him?
Speaker 2 (56:41):
Okay? You have no idea how many Israeli A dog
came to this hospital and.
Speaker 25 (56:50):
Within hours their vitriol went viral, their bosses sickened.
Speaker 2 (56:55):
They are vile, disgusting and deranged individuals. You think I
thought the goal was to do no harm. Apparently not.
I just it's disgusting. You're supposed to entrust people with
your life and in emergency situations you had no idea
(57:16):
you guys were going to cross paths. And because of
your belief and the fact that you feel the Israelis
are bad and evil, you're not looking at them as
a human being. You're looking at them as the enemy.
You're fine with killing them because it's all in the
name of Allah.
Speaker 16 (57:28):
Never in my wildest dreams did I think that I
would be standing here with two staff of the New
South Wales Health System having said such horrendous things.
Speaker 2 (57:38):
The pair swiftly sat.
Speaker 16 (57:41):
These people will never work in New South Wales hospitals again.
Speaker 25 (57:45):
The nurses now claim it was just a miscommunication, a joke.
Speaker 14 (57:49):
I don't know what explanation any of these individuals could
possibly give.
Speaker 25 (57:54):
Outrage two from the nation's leader's.
Speaker 20 (57:57):
Driven by hate and it's disgusting.
Speaker 2 (58:00):
Is shameful, shameful, absolutely shameful. I was just a joke.
I don't think anybody's buying it, because it seems if
that was a joke, you guys are the best actors.
That wasn't a joke. You were serious, given the opportunity
you would have. I don't know if you did, but
(58:23):
I do know they're going to be.
Speaker 25 (58:24):
Checking and patience at the pair's former workplace. What do
you make of the video?
Speaker 21 (58:29):
I reckon everyone should be treated with Jewish, Australian, Tasmanian, anything,
have original.
Speaker 3 (58:37):
You're entitled me to look after my client.
Speaker 25 (58:39):
Sends a very sincere apology to not only that individual,
but to the Jewish community as a whole. Well, there's
no evidence to suggest they've delivered poor care to Jewish patients.
All cases they've been involved in will now be investigated.
Speaker 2 (58:55):
And even if it's not somebody who's Jewish, even if
it's that's not you're gonna check everything because what if
this person here is a supporter of Israel might as
well be Israeli at that point in time. Not a
good day there. I'll tell you that rot now, h
(59:17):
we moved from that hospital to one in Cincinnati, and
we look at you and say shame.
Speaker 19 (59:23):
Her father and I both feel strongly that the Holy
Spurrizonis don't put this vaccination in her body.
Speaker 26 (59:28):
Adeline Deal is a happy twelve year old girl from Batesville, Indiana.
Speaker 18 (59:33):
I like to sing, and I like to.
Speaker 19 (59:37):
You like to swim when you feel better?
Speaker 26 (59:40):
Huh yep, but she's living with a serious heart condition.
Speaker 19 (59:43):
She has Epstein's anomaly, and she has Wolf Parker syndrome.
Speaker 2 (59:48):
There's a lot of stuff going on right there. So
because she's not vaccinated, and I don't think it's all
the vaccinations. I think we know which one it is.
I think we do.
Speaker 26 (59:59):
Janine Deal and her husband adopted Adeline from China when
she was four, knowing that she would need a heart
transplant someday.
Speaker 19 (01:00:06):
I'm terrified for her. I mean, you know, she's my
child and I want the best for her.
Speaker 26 (01:00:13):
The Deals have done most of her care through Cincinnati
Children's but are now looking elsewhere after the hospital declined
to put Adline on the transplant list. The hospital requires
patients to have both the flu and COVID vaccine, but
the Deals have not vaccinated any of their twelve children
due to the religion, which is non denominational.
Speaker 19 (01:00:31):
I called the child's advocate from since Ani Children's to
see if they could help us with what a religious
exemption and so forth, and he came back and said
that they said, they're not going to change your policy,
and this is what's it is. And we are more
than welcome to go find another hospital. If we didn't
like it.
Speaker 2 (01:00:49):
Man, that's crazy that I just the whole it goes
back to the COVID insanity again. You look at the
kids that are healthy and obviously she's got issues. I
don't know if I'd give her a lot of drugs
at this point in time until their heart was fixed
and we'll get to what is going on. But it
goes back to that insanity of yeah, you've got to
(01:01:10):
or else, You've got to or else, and we're standing
on this. Okay. I just we've lost the plot people,
we've lost the Thank god they're not Jews in Australia, right.
Speaker 26 (01:01:24):
Janine says she's frustrated because she says her daughter is
healthy other than the heart condition. She says the situation
gives her anxiety.
Speaker 19 (01:01:31):
It's not right, it's you know, we just we don't
believe in doing the vaccination part of it.
Speaker 26 (01:01:37):
We reached out to Cincinnati Children's Hospital about the issue
when a spokesperson sent us this statement. At Cincinnati Children's,
clinical decisions are guided by science, research and best practices.
We tailor care plans to each patient in collaboration with
their family to ensure the safest, most effective treatment. The
deals have made headlines the last few days and receive
some messages that give them hope in the situation.
Speaker 19 (01:02:00):
Hospital in Pittsburgh reach out and we are looking into
going there and seeing how insurance is and stuff like that.
So it's a possibility.
Speaker 2 (01:02:10):
And by the way, we believe in science. Nobody did
when it came to COVID and kids. Nobody believed in science.
You believed in insanity, not science. Everybody knew, the Europeans knew.
Everybody knew that it did nothing to kids, nothing to kids.
Flu was far worse, but it still didn't matter. So
settle down with we believe in science. And look, some
(01:02:32):
people aren't great candidates for transplants because of their lifestyle
things of that nature, and sometimes you're too sick to
get a transplant. Do I understand why that some hospitals
are hesitant in a situation like this, I could easily
(01:02:53):
make the case why. That being said, if it's because
the COVID and the flu, you guys are ridiculous. You
are You're ridiculous. And COVID is still one of those
things where the way that some people react is absolutely ridiculous.
(01:03:17):
And if you believe in science and I believe in science,
of course, and I also believe that science said that, yeah,
kids really were at no risk for any of this stuff,
no more than anything like that. It's just yet insanity.
And remember, because of stuff like this, because of the
(01:03:37):
fact that there's so much mistrust, is why measles. Right now,
there's an outbreak in several states. It's the highest level
they've been because people no longer trust what's happening, and
then they hear stuff like this, and that doesn't make
them have trust either. Here's the good news.
Speaker 27 (01:03:53):
So right now, there's not a timeline or deadline for
when Adeline needs that heart trends plant. Her mom says
she is still on the heart failure team, not the
transplant team, so there is still time.
Speaker 2 (01:04:08):
Good and we don't want a heart to fail either.
Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four, twenty three

Speaker 18 (01:05:43):
Show, serving up talk radio medium, rare and dripping with irony.
Speaker 1 (01:05:58):
It's Chadpensen.
Speaker 2 (01:06:00):
The mob. It still exists and guess what they're having
some issues, especially the Italians.
Speaker 28 (01:06:07):
The Mafia's resurging reign of power over parts of Italy
might be cracking as police increase efforts to take down
mob operations. Italian police say they arrested more than one
hundred and eighty suspected mobsters in Sicily Tuesday, as authorities
launched a series of raids targeting mafia operations. Italian officials
revealed more than twelve hundred officers were involved in the
(01:06:29):
operation meant to dismantle mob networks across the Sicilian capital
of Palermo. The raids are the biggest in several years
and aimed to stop the mafia from rebuilding its governing
influence Following the recent release of mafia bosses from prison.
Investigators also revealed mobsters still behind bars have used encrypted
cell phones to continue criminal activities, something they discovered by
(01:06:51):
bugging suspects homes and cars.
Speaker 2 (01:06:54):
Now this is where it gets really interesting. So they're
bugging suspects homes and cars, probably younger mafiosos. So I
want you to say so gen Z and millennial mafia folk,
picture that in your mind in today's modern sensibility.
Speaker 28 (01:07:15):
Wire taps and intercepted conversations caught Sicilian mafia bosses complaining
about their waning influence and the miserable pool of recruits.
Speaker 2 (01:07:24):
Godfathers were also reportedly heard.
Speaker 28 (01:07:26):
Saying younger criminals were too quick to turn on the
mob and become witnesses for prosecutors when arrested. The raids
this week stemmed from investigations into drug trafficking, attempted murder,
and armed defenses. Several mob bosses who had already been
released from jail after serving time were among those arrested.
One was reportedly to Maso Lapresti, who spent a dozen
(01:07:48):
years in jail before his release in twenty twenty three.
Speaker 2 (01:07:53):
They're having trouble recruiting. They're bitching about the fact that
they don't want to work. They're easily swayed to give
up on the mob bosses. They're having the same problem
(01:08:13):
that the rest of the world is having when it
comes to a younger workforce, which is they're not very good.
They don't want to work hard. They don't want you
to yell at them. They don't want you to do
anything to make them feel bad. They're easily swayed. They
probably before they even joined the mob, they probably want
to know what's the benefit packaged? Like, am I gonna get,
(01:08:36):
you know, days off for my mental health? You can't
make this up. The older guys are bitching, They're like, Oh,
what's going on here? This is ridiculous, these guys that
don't want to work. You made an accent. That's probably racism.
You know there are people out there that feel that way.
(01:08:56):
Some of the text messages I get are hilarious. We're
going to go over some of them a little bit later.
How many times can you call a person a Nazi
before you think, I don't think this is having that
effect on the person I thought I was gonna have.
That's the new end word, Nazi? What up? Nazi? Huhuh I.
(01:09:24):
I'm fascinated because my thought is, as we've always talked about.
The minute you invoke the word Nazi, unless you're talking
about World War Two, you do a complete disservice to
anybody who fought in that war against the Nazis. You
(01:09:48):
lessen their atrocities against the Jews in the Holocaust because
you think that Donald Trump wants to cut parts of
the Department of Education and so somehow that is equal
to trying to an exterminate a race. I'm trying to
(01:10:10):
wrap my head around it. And when you you know,
I said to somebody last night, Okay, okay, fine, So
what part of World War Two did Trump participate in
on the German side where he was a Nazi? Still
waiting for the answer, they're probably looking it up. Okay,
(01:10:31):
was Trump really a Nazi? No, No, he wasn't. But
that's all you got. That is it. And the hysteria
Elon's gonna take everything away from us based on what
based on what you've got, nothing, zero, zilch, nada. It's infuriating.
(01:11:00):
If there was something we could go hey, look, he
went in there and he got access to everybody's private
data and he decided to take that private data and
you know, selling on the dark web. But then he
found out it's already on the dark web. I'm still
waiting for the answer to what you think he's going
(01:11:22):
to do to your data. Remind people this, the same
people that are griping about this, who are worried so
much about Elon having access, or the same people whose
passwords are one, two three four. I can't believe I
was hacked because if they want to, they'll hack you.
(01:11:47):
It's kind of the jam, kind of the thing that
they do so insane three two three, five three eight,
twenty four to twenty three three two three five three
eight Chad in text or leave a voicemail on that line.
You can reach out to us across Instagram as well
as x at Chadmanson Show. That's Facebook as well, and

what's trending? Got some good stuff, I'm sure trending. I
don't know. I haven't checked it, but I bet it's good.
I check it right before we go right in there
(01:12:31):
because I want to know what's trending it that second. Plus,
we've got more on the demasculation of the Democrat Party
and their rudderless ship that they currently have as they
continue to realize nothing. It's just clueless about everything at
this moment in time. Talk about that as well on
My buddy Jim Kennedy Kennedy Institute the Public Policy Research

his answer to should fish be in the Rock Roll
Hall of Fame? You're missing the show. Grab the podcast

Speaker 1 (01:13:03):
This is the Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (01:13:32):
Is it the person that is doing the cuts or
is it the cuts themselves when it comes to the doge.
Is it Elon that is making them so upset? Is
it Elon because of what he represents as a sis
(01:13:56):
hetero normative cracker South af African American katrillionaire or is
that the actual cuts themselves. See I wonder if if
it was another group, if it was a group of
people that you brought in, forensic accountants, people of that nature,
(01:14:17):
somebody knows how to balance a checkbook or whatever. If
it was somebody who was not seen as evil by
the left and the media, If the Democrats would be
so wacky about it. I still say yes in some ways,
but not one hundred percent. I mean, they'd still be
(01:14:37):
upset about some of their pet projects and government needs
to be involved in every aspect of your life kind
of thing. They's still going to be that. But I
think if it wasn't because of Elon, they wouldn't be
as crazy. See. I think it's as much about the
person as I like to call them the cutter, as
(01:14:57):
it is the cutting.
Speaker 5 (01:14:59):
What these guys, the oligauts and the billionaires want to
do is cut program after program, including education, in order
to give massive tax breaks to the very richest people
in this country.
Speaker 2 (01:15:15):
Oh, here's burn massive tax breaks. How would education do that.
We're going to pay for the tax breaks. We've got
to pay for a lot of stuff we don't pay with.
We don't pay for a lot of things. We're not
paying for this. We're borrowing. We're borrowing. We still have
(01:15:37):
the ink, but we've run out of money as far
as printing goes.
Speaker 4 (01:15:40):
We want to privatize Social Security and Medicare and Medicaid
and the Veterans administration and public education.
Speaker 2 (01:15:52):
Well it's a hard sell right now. When we got
the report card for America and it says, are we're
not doing sell goods. We need more money. More money
will be the answer. More money. Ah, but it's the cutter.
If it was a broke af, poor person who said
(01:16:14):
you needed to cut I went into your thing and
I looked at your books, they wouldn't take you serious. Well,
this person doesn't have an education, he doesn't even know
or ru. But because it's Elon, well he's successful, so
therefore he has no idea what he's doing. I'm not
saying everything's gonna work. I'm not saying everything he's gonna
cut is gonna be good. But have we thought about
(01:16:37):
the what if scenario if it I don't know works
Have we even thought about that now? Of course not,
because Elon offers the media as well as the Democrats
that other thing they were looking for. Remember when they
tried to make Ron de Santis the new Trump, Like,
(01:17:01):
what's let's let's roll this out, Let's see how this
goes right, Let's say and Ron wasn't he was just
he was awful. He's great at governing, he was always
horrible at getting the job. He's he's not entertaining, he's
not funny, he's not super controversial. There's nothing about him
that's you know, even when he's adversarial, it sounds hey, guys,
you know, just there was nothing there and they need
(01:17:24):
the they're there, and Elon offers him the there there.
But as he's delivering all of these things, and he
said soon he'll have the receipts, I would like to
see some of these things. And a lot of the
stuff he's talking about cutting. You got to go through
the congressional side of stuff. That's gonna this isn't you know,
cutting nine hundred million dollars from the from the education
(01:17:47):
Department of Education. That's Congress's job. But right now, you
overwhelm and you swarm, and you throw a bunch of
stuff out there, and you go to town and then
let the courts say yay or nay, and then you
get on Congress, Hey, this is what we want to do,
because that's going to put them into a position where
they're going to act, to have to act. But it's
(01:18:08):
about the cutter in this situation. He is the perfect
villain right now. But it also shows you that they're
tone deaf because a lot of what he's cutting Americans
agree with. No, I don't think we should pay for
a bunch of wacky crap all over the world. I
don't think you believe that either, even if you are
(01:18:31):
a Democrat, and I've got a lot of Democratic friends
who are like nah, I don't think we should be
paying for those things. And by the way, for honest
with ourselves, like USAID's a perfect example, let's just be
kind of honest with ourselves. You do realize that it
was set up so much of the AID even before
(01:18:55):
USAID came into existence, it was set up up to,
I don't know, be a way to spread American democracy
through the you know, it's soft power and goodwill, but
at the same time also start some coupss things like that.
(01:19:22):
Oh oh, I was unaware of that. I was unaware
of that chat. But Democrats keep swinging and missing, and
all you have to do is look at some of
the stuff that they're talking about cutting, and it doesn't
mean it's going to happen. I want to remind everybody
that as they all freak out it's gonna have, what's
gonna have, it doesn't mean it's going to happen. These
are things that are out there that they would like
to cut, and some of them are ridiculous. Yes, we
(01:19:46):
could sit here and talk about us AID and all
of that stuff, but here's some stuff inside of the
Department of Education. And I had to quadruple check this
because I don't always buy everything I hear. And it
gets frustrating because there's so much lunacy out there when
it comes to things that will get cut, won't get cut,
(01:20:08):
what's real, what's not real? But we're talking about spending
millions of dollars to have a study about a study.
Wait what, Yeah, they're going to have a study about
a study. Yeah, they wanted to study a study and
whether or not that study did anything when they put
(01:20:32):
it out there for schools to try. Oh, that's stupid.
Speaker 3 (01:20:36):
Exactly.
Speaker 2 (01:20:39):
They wanted to spend millions of dollars essentially teaching people
how to work zoom and to have zoom experts and coordinators.
If you can't work zoom, the job that you've applied for,
over your head, over your head, Democrats. These are the
(01:21:02):
things where people look and go, that's stupid. The cutter
you're mad at because he's bringing you stuff that most
Americans are like, ye, ain't get rid of that. We
got no problem with that. And so that's why when
you're screaming, you're yelling, it all falls on deaf ears
because you've made everything about you versus Elon and a
(01:21:23):
warfare of well, it's a cast warfare, is what it is.
It's a rich versus the poor, the working man, which
you've abandoned a long time ago, and everybody knows that
because you're like, hey, common sense, get out of here.
Speaker 7 (01:21:40):
When I ran for president, that was one of my
propositions to engage one of the world's foremost consulting firms
to literally look at the entire federal budget and make
thoughtful recommendations to Congress about how it could actually become
more efficient, more effective. Unfortunately, Democrats are only focused on
one thing right now, mister Musk. The fact of the matter,
he's quite popular the largest platform in human history, which
(01:22:03):
is of course Twitter slash x, and I think we're
missing the boat as Democrats, And all I'm saying is
that sometimes it's better to join them and actually play
a role in how the strategy works, rather than so pathetically,
frankly try to combat something that clearly is a steamroller.
Speaker 2 (01:22:20):
It's a steam roll. Let'stean Phillips. He was Democrat, ran
on the Democratic side. He was the one who said, hey, look,
Biden's nuts, he can't do this, he's old, and everybody's
like they're a bad person. And then oh my god,
he was right. Join them get in there, because you
don't want to get in there and see oh yeah, yeah,
(01:22:41):
this needs to go. You don't want to get in
there and find out that there is a lot of crap.
They all know it's fraud in some senses. They all
know what's in a lot of these things. They're all
there pet projects and they're wacky progressive ideas that they
want to spread around the globe to countries who don't
want it but want the money, so they'll appease you
(01:23:03):
to have a puppet show somewhere about transgenderism. So then yeah, okay, whatever,
it's it's a waste. And then there's things that are
good that they won't spend the money on because it
would take away from their insane ideas over here that
(01:23:25):
they're spending money on that they should spend money on.
They're like, why not give more money over there? And
none of this stuff is going away that people think
it's out, it's over, it's neffing. Marco Rubio is in
control of it. Now. He's going to be the one
that will decide, Okay, we're going to do this here,
this aligns with the values that we're going for. This
aligance with America first will use this money. But instead
they run around and go, he's going to take your
(01:23:46):
social Security number and he's gonna privatize everything and blah.
Speaker 7 (01:23:52):
I think Democrats should join the club and then have
more credibility to actually raise the alarm about constitutional issues.
Speaker 2 (01:23:58):
Right now.
Speaker 7 (01:23:59):
It's the boy who cried wolf.
Speaker 2 (01:24:01):
And when they were talking about privatizing sold security. You
remember when Bush put that out there and everybody freaked out.
If you were to have joined then, I think it
was two thousand and six something like that, when he
tried to roll it out there, everybody got mad at him.
If you would have joined at that point in time,
and the way they even looked at it was there
(01:24:21):
was going to be a privatization of solid security. I
think you could have opted into it. And if you
opted into it, then the money like the four oh
one K, they would match that into your sold security fund.
If you were to retire in two thousand and thirty four,
so ten years you'd have one point four million dollars.
Now again, I've only put it from two thousand and six,
(01:24:44):
so a four percent standard that you would take out
per year for your retirement income would be fifty six
thousand dollars as opposed to twenty four thousand with social security.
Now is it perfect? We've got to try something else.
But the fear of giving up con troll government wise
is too much for the left. They want more centralized government,
(01:25:06):
make it bigger, make it less efficient, insane. Right, Well, Chad,
you could lose all your money in the market. It's possible,
but there may not be social security at the rate
we're going in less than ten years. So not only
die not have the market, you won't gonna have the
sol security either. Who wins there? Nobody three two, three, five,

All these things are trending in the magical world of
the Internet. One of the other things trending is Doug's party,
and we're gonna get to that later. It's a feel
good story that I think people need because we need
more of that. We need more feel good stories. We
are driven now by algorithms that seem to be setting
(01:29:42):
the conversation and the mood at times of people in
the country. And that's not a win. I'm gonna tell
you that right now. That is not a win. And
we need feel good stories. And people ask me all
the time, what do you do outside of work? Do
you just talk politics all day? Hell, mel I got
home yesterday and I had work to do, but I
(01:30:05):
was so excited because my six year old Charlie, she
saved up. She'd been working, doing chores and stuff around
the house and doing her school work and everything, and
she gets her money and she got a doll that
she'd been saving for. And the anticipation of when the
doll arrived, and let me tell you something, greatest day
ever for her. That's it. That's all I need. That's
(01:30:27):
a win. That is that's a win of wins. And
they were hanging out all night or it's deafne they're
hanging out all night, and it's she's got a baby one,
this one's a toddler, and they're like best butts. Now
I need more of that. Three two, three, five, three, eight,
twenty four to twenty three at Chat, Benson shows your
Twitter Tweet is texta program. Jim Kennedy Kennedy Institute Public
(01:30:50):
Policy Research joints. The programstra Ed. It is the Chat
Benson Chow.
Speaker 13 (01:30:59):
Sun Chat to Joe.
Speaker 1 (01:31:20):
The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (01:31:22):
That time of the week. We sit down talk to
our good buddy, Jim Kennedy Kennedy Institute of Public Policy Research.
We talk about politics and all kinds of things. Jim.
The Democrats are struggling and I was thinking about this
for quite a while. Talked to a couple of people
about this. They don't have any real leadership. Last couple
(01:31:46):
of days, I've said, I've never seen a group of
people who are missing the mark more and more at
this level. And there's also no strong leaders that I
think men gravitate towards. They looked more lost now than
they did right after they lost the election in November.
Speaker 30 (01:32:10):
Yeah, because it really especially on the House side for
the for them, and you've got Jefferies who's basically chiming
into some really silly.
Speaker 3 (01:32:17):
Stuff after that.
Speaker 30 (01:32:18):
You know, I'm curious why he didn't do anything after
that whole row at Department of Education last week with
Maxine Waters and then demanding entry and that security card, just.
Speaker 3 (01:32:27):
Going no, and they're like, what do you mean you
told me no? I'm a member of Congress. No, did
you not hear it the first time?
Speaker 20 (01:32:33):
No?
Speaker 3 (01:32:33):
And they just were you know, the guy was just unflinching.
Speaker 30 (01:32:36):
He just put that look on his face like, man,
this just is whatever they're paying me just isn't worth
this kind of abuse from these people who were just
sitting there.
Speaker 3 (01:32:44):
But there was there were no guys there.
Speaker 30 (01:32:46):
They basically turned they turned over to Maxine Waters who's
eighty six, to let her basically run the thing. And yeah,
you're right, I haven't seen any men, especially on the
House site, speak up that. You know that that basically
in a position leadership. I think it because I think
we kind of talked about this before where Trump is
coming at them with so much stuff so fast, they
can't you know, they don't have the time to gear up.
(01:33:07):
It's basically, if you don't catch something in six hours,
it's old news. Yeah, there's two more new stories that
have come along since then, and you're just fighting. You're
fighting two days ago as battles, and the press is
just moving on to the next thing, to the next thing,
to the next thing. Now, if there's something that they
can dig into and find that was in there, but
a lot of this stuff there really isn't a lot
of they're there on it. I mean, like, how much
(01:33:28):
time can you do on Trump changing the Gulf of
next to the Gulf of America. It doesn't help me
put put food on the table. It doesn't change you know,
the price of eggs right now for example. Those types
of things. So that person doesn't care. But but but
those are the kind of things that the left wants
to dig into.
Speaker 3 (01:33:44):
But there's three more stories you get.
Speaker 30 (01:33:47):
You had d and I yesterday the basically surpassed it,
and you said the economic numbers that surpassed it. And
now you got the Kennedy vote coming up in the
cash vote coming up. So you've got all this stuff
that's that's already passed it. Plus we had another another
hostage release too, so they've had five six things a day.
So if you focus on anything your old news, by
the time you even probably got a you know, got
(01:34:07):
a bunch of people together to hold a press conference.
Speaker 2 (01:34:09):
Truth talking to Jim Kennedy Kennedy and Public Policy Research.
We talk about politics and whatnot. They are struggling, the Democrats,
Republicans are moving forward. And I threw some out there tonight. Hey, guys,
what if doge works, I mean, it's not gonna work
the way that you know I think they would like
to see it. We're gonna cut two trillion off and
everyone's gonna get a tax cut. Okay, I don't live
in a fantasy world. But what if it does cut
(01:34:29):
eight to ten percent off over a period of time,
it streamlines things, that makes it more efficient. What makes
it feel like we're saving maybe fifteen percent. What if
it does work, because if it doesn't work, we're still
just in the same place that we already are. If
it does work, that's a good thing.
Speaker 3 (01:34:47):
Oh. Absolutely. There really isn't a lot of downside to dose.
Speaker 30 (01:34:50):
From what I can see, it's basically, you know, they've
already come up with some wins as it is. And
the thing they a lot of the don't understand is
they think that the fifty billion dollars from USC ideas
it's not necessarily gone. It's put under Rubio and he'll
decide what should be spent and what shouldn't be spent,
you know, out of the State Department now, so it's
not like he's you know, I've got all these lefty
friends that are that are that are yelling about he
(01:35:12):
just can't stop spending on stuff that's been author Okay,
he didn't, he hasn't said he's not going to spend it.
Speaker 2 (01:35:18):
Well he can't if it's been authorized and allocating. He
can't stop it, but correct and he gets to decide
when it goes.
Speaker 30 (01:35:26):
Yes, And nobody on the left seemed to seems to
remember when Joe Biden was allocated money to build a
border wall and didn't build a border wall. I don't
see if there wasn't a left wasn't up at arms
when he didn't when he didn't do that over his term.
So yeah, this isn't a new thing that for them.
So they're just floundering. There's because there's no real, real,
single issue that they can dig into. I mean Doge
(01:35:47):
and they had that yesterday, that committee hearing on the
Subcommittee on Doge Overviewers, which is interesting that that even exists.
And even though that exists until I kind of flipped
across the channels and was seeing that they're.
Speaker 2 (01:35:59):
Well, it did exist until the other day and then
they made an agency to go after him.
Speaker 3 (01:36:03):
Yeah, well that makes that makes sense.
Speaker 30 (01:36:05):
I'm not sure why the Republicans signed off of that,
because there was no good. You got Garcia, the guy
that used to be the mayor of Long Beach who
was there basically and he's literally stated, Oh, I'm just
here to screw up the Republicans. I'm just here to
could you know, to throw a wrench into this as
much as I possibly can't. And again we've talked about this,
Why does the left think this is a winning strategy. No,
I don't want the government to save any money, and
(01:36:27):
I'm going to campaign on basically stopping the government.
Speaker 2 (01:36:30):
And you're fighting for people who are lifetime bureaucrats who
are in DC and they're upset because they have to
go to work twice a week, or because they moved
to three four years ago and now the rules have change.
You got to come back or you got to I mean,
they're fighting the wrong fight. Talking to Jim Kennedy Kennedy
(01:36:50):
as Public Policy Research, as we talk about politics and
all of the things. Uh, the the interesting thing about
all of this stuff, and it's going so fast and
it is all and like you said, they can't even
react at times. At some point in time, he realizes
he's gonna have to govern and he's gonna have to
get some stuff over the line. I want to see
(01:37:11):
what the Republicans look like when it's not just him,
because right now he's kind of given them a pass.
They don't have to go through and and try to
pass the bill. They don't have to do any of
those things. At this moment in time. It's just him
signing executive orders and taking you know, he and Elon
taking slings and slings of arrows coming at them. But
they're going to have to do something at some point
in time because these things are going to be overturned
(01:37:32):
in the court, and even the Supreme Court may say,
we're not even to listen to this. So I wonder
what that looks like when you actually have to put
up or shut up. When it comes to Trump.
Speaker 30 (01:37:42):
Well, I think one of the things that's coming up,
and I think I've briefed it already or on a
previous show, is that they've got the actual legislation to
dissolve the Department of Education whatever you know, Trump or
Elon and Trump can't actually do that passed.
Speaker 3 (01:37:56):
It was created by legislation. They need legislation to undo it.
Speaker 30 (01:38:00):
Go the basic I think Thomas Massy in fact introduced
the bill, but it's just kind of sitting there while
they're basically going through the you know, while they're going
through the steps to basically whatever it is they have
to do internally to basically they think a lot of
that money will still be there. It'll just be parsed
out to other agencies to give out it, whether it's
health and Human Services or maybe some of it's even
(01:38:20):
sent back to the States. So I don't know how
much they're exactly going to save in the end, but
the whole thing will just basically be dissolved, and Massie's
bill is probably part of the legislation and they'll do that.
They'll have to set it up at the Senate to
make sure they got the votes in the Senate. But
that's something because the House really hasn't been passing a
whole lot beyond the Lake and Riley bill. The Senate's
been busy confirming Trump's nominees. So yeah, so it's been
(01:38:42):
kind of a it hasn't been there hasn't been that
much legislative work going on. I think, if I'm not
mis sick, we have another debt ceiling, yeah, coming up
in about six or eight weeks, and they still need
I think some more budget stuff to go through.
Speaker 2 (01:38:55):
They never pass it on time. They never pass a
budget for anything. They kick it down the road. Oh,
by the time they passed the budget, it's already time
for the new budget. It's it's it's ridiculous.
Speaker 30 (01:39:04):
In fact, Trump should be presenting his budget for twenty
six fairly soon. That should come out before the end
of February normally, if I'm not mistaken.
Speaker 3 (01:39:11):
Yeah, so that should be coming up for what he's
going to spend on twenty six.
Speaker 30 (01:39:13):
The important thing, though, is without DOGE being completed, you
don't know how much they would want to cut out
of that budget, because generally these guys just do three
to five percent increases along the lines and then they
kind of go from there to start making cuts. It's
always interesting when you hear congress people talk about the cuts.
Speaker 3 (01:39:30):
Well, generally the cuts are just.
Speaker 30 (01:39:31):
Basically lower increases on a year over year basis. They're
generally almost never actual cuts. They're like almost never is
twenty six going to be less than what twenty five
or twenty It's.
Speaker 2 (01:39:43):
Like when they do inflation right, like, well, inflation's only
up two percent, that's not year over year. That's the
growth that's the growth of inflation month over month. It's
the same thing. We were going to give you six percent,
but now we're only going to give you four. It's like, oh,
we cut the No, you didn't. You're still giving more
than you did last year. You're just not giving six.
Speaker 3 (01:40:00):
Yeah. That was started sometimes during the Obama administration.
Speaker 30 (01:40:02):
The Dems came up with that as a talking point
where they basically it became a cut when you just
reduce the amount of growth in the budget, which was like, wow, okay, nice,
try guys, that's not the way the math works.
Speaker 2 (01:40:14):
We're talking to Jim Kennedy Kennedy Institute of Public Policy Research.
All Right, we're gonna do rapid fire. It's gonna be
like two minutes. I'm gonna ask you. You got like
ten to fifteen seconds to answer these questions. That's it.
Here we go. Number one. Immigration, it's not going as
swimmingly as I think he thought it was going to
be when it comes to deportations.
Speaker 30 (01:40:33):
No, but they're getting better. They got the Venezuelans yesterday.
We began to go out there working. They're spinning.
Speaker 3 (01:40:37):
Get mo up. So I think it'll start getting better.
Speaker 30 (01:40:40):
This isn't something you can just on day one basically
get a million people out of the country in thirty days.
It's going to take some time, and none of this
was spun up by the Biden administration. So give it time.
I think I'll start spinning up and moving the right direction.
Speaker 2 (01:40:51):
Question number two for Jim Kennedy. Kennedy answer, Public Policy Research.
I look at the Ukraine situation. I think we've got
a clear path. Do you think he gets done in
the next month Ukraine and Russia with some peace.
Speaker 30 (01:41:04):
I think it gets done in less than six months
and maybe ninety days. They're gonna have to convince the
Ukrainians that they're that they will not get all their
land back, and I think that's gonna be a little
They're gonna have to put some put some carrots out
there for them to get that past Zelensky, to make
him buy off on that and to basically say, look,
you're gonna stop killing all of you know, all of
your people that are dying in your soldiers, even though
(01:41:27):
you are killing a lot more Russians. So they're gonna
have to give them a little bit of a carrot
to basically get that done.
Speaker 3 (01:41:33):
With the loss of territory.
Speaker 2 (01:41:34):
Number three, What do you think happens with Gaza moving
the Palestinians? Does it get done, do they release the hostages?
What's the next step.
Speaker 30 (01:41:45):
We made some problems with with the Jordanian leader yes
on Tuesday. So whether he just simply was sitting in
there quietly and not objecting in public to Trump, or
there actually is some progress in that, it'll be interesting
to see.
Speaker 3 (01:41:57):
It. Sounds like every day though, that they're.
Speaker 30 (01:42:00):
More and more people are understanding that all of the
solutions that have been proposed previously haven't worked, and if
there's something that we can do that looks different that
may be a way to peace, that could be it.
Speaker 3 (01:42:10):
Though again, the other problem is who's going to take
two point one million Palestinians.
Speaker 30 (01:42:14):
Nobody wants them, and basically telling them they got to
leave their.
Speaker 3 (01:42:18):
Homeland is going to be kind of a tough case
to make.
Speaker 2 (01:42:21):
Talking to Jim Kennedy Kennedy Institute of Public Policy Research.
Last question, the band Fish is nominated for the Rock
and Roll Hall of Fame. Jim and I hate jam bands.
I hate them with the passion. I hate Fish in
the microwave, I hate fish altogether, but I hate jam bands.
I do not think Fish should be in the Rock
and Roll Hall of Fame? What say you?
Speaker 30 (01:42:42):
First of all, the kenn even spell they're dang name right,
So I don't you know why they should even be nominated.
Speaker 3 (01:42:46):
The spellings of the Trojans. Yeah, they were always a
very interesting one.
Speaker 30 (01:42:50):
They were kind of like, to me, a variation, I mean,
not a variation, but they were like, you know, some
of the Grateful Dad, but they're Grateful that has a
much better musical history.
Speaker 3 (01:42:57):
You've got a group of people that really like them.
Speaker 30 (01:43:00):
I don't think I mean, I wouldn't be a fan
of them going in, but they may very well have
enough of a fan based to get in there. They're
kind of, you know, it's their their music isn't my music.
I'm a you know, I'm a I'm a rock and
roll guy. But I can't really sit there. I don't
do weeds. I can't sit there for thirty five minutes
listening to you know, the same song, all the guitar
(01:43:21):
riffs going over and oh remember somebody I knew that
said that they saw the Grateful Dead when they were young,
and then they saw them later on after they stopped
using pot and they said they weren't nearly as good
a band when they weren't stoned as they were when
they were.
Speaker 2 (01:43:33):
Stone is the only way to get through that music.
And I don't even smoke. I wouldn't see that. If you,
I would literally if you said, Chad, you get to
be the new lead singer Fish, I'd be like, NA,
I'm right, I'm right. I'm gonna keep doing this. Jim Kennedy,
Kennedy Institute Public Policy Research. As always, brother thinks so much.
We'll do it again next week.
Speaker 3 (01:43:46):
Thanks Chad.
Speaker 2 (01:43:47):
I love talking to Jim because he agrees Fish is stupid.

Speaker 2 (01:45:38):
Too much chaos, too much craziness, too much anger and
hate in the world. We need to take a deep
breath and every once in a while, and I wish
it happened more. You come across a story, makes you smile,
makes you go, you know what? This is what it's
all about. It's not about the Doge. It's not about
whether or not Trump is gonna arrest everybody who has
(01:46:00):
brown skinned ah, how maga are you or aren't you?
It's about real life stuff like explaining earlier about my
little one, Charlie and her new baby doll and how
much it was a huge deal here yesterday. It's incredible.
That's what life is all about. And partying. Are you
(01:46:22):
guys going to Doug's party?
Speaker 3 (01:46:23):
What?
Speaker 2 (01:46:25):
Yeah, Doug's party. If you don't know what Doug's party is,
first of all, you're not in the now. Secondly, you
didn't get your invite and you're thinking she had What
the hell are you talking about? Doug is eighty five.
He's a widow from Bucks County in Pennsylvania, and a
ring doorbell caught this eighty five year old with his cane,
(01:46:45):
walking up to a door and delivering something.
Speaker 17 (01:46:51):
Mine. Dougs crossed the sheet over here, right, I go
over that house there, and that's an invite to a
party on February fifteenth.
Speaker 2 (01:46:59):
That's right. He hand wrote a letter to all of
his neighbors. He's going to have a party February fifteenth,
wants everybody to come. Now. The first lady that got
it is this young girl, and it's gone viral, and again
everybody's heading to Doug's party, as you should be. Today.
Speaker 10 (01:47:17):
I'm just sitting on the couch and I hear a
drop all ring, and I'm like, what the heck?
Speaker 8 (01:47:21):
Click?
Speaker 10 (01:47:21):
Who could that even be? I opened the door and
it is our like eighty five year old neighbor who
is truly like such a sweetheart. He's walking over with
this cane, and I still was like so unsure as
to like what he was even asking, or like what
he needed. And he gives me this little invitation that
literally looks like he used, like some sort of like
(01:47:42):
pen to then like meet copies of these and give
them out to all of our neighbors. And it says
a celebration of Winter, February fifteenth, four pm until the
cops arrived. Until the cops arrived, He's literally eighty five.
It says food and drinks and we'll be there only
bring a smile. Fris VP to his email and he
(01:48:04):
gave his phone number.
Speaker 2 (01:48:06):
Love Doug after she posted that everybody wants to go
to a Dougs party first of all, till the cops arrive. Secondly,
it just shows you the humanity that all of us have.
And it's awesome. We're gonna have a mini Doug party
here on Saturday, and we're excited about it. We're gonna
have a little mini Doug party. You can live stream
the whole thing. His daughter reached out to the TikToker
(01:48:28):
and said, he has no idea what all the fuss
is about. It's just awesome. It's a story we need
because it reminds us of the humanity of us and
how close we really are, and that our neighbors are
our neighbors. They're not the different political party like something
to think about today. Text me three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson Show.
That is your Twitter and your Instagram. Let me know
(01:48:50):
