Speaker 1 (00:11):
The Chad Benson Show, Did you protest yesterday?

Speaker 2 (00:14):
And the Not My President's Day protest because a lot
of people.

Speaker 3 (00:18):
Did protests across the country yesterday called for the disbandment
of DOGE.

Speaker 4 (00:22):
Elon must doesn't even know my job exists, right, but
like we do a lot. I mean, I'm a public
servant and I do this job because I love it.

Speaker 5 (00:30):
So yeah, I'm.

Speaker 4 (00:30):
Devastated and my whole community lost their jobs and I
don't know what I'm going to do.

Speaker 6 (00:34):
Now.

Speaker 7 (00:35):
Can we just say settle down?

Speaker 2 (00:36):
All right? You're a public servant. You act like you're sacrificing.
You know, I'm working for free. Do you guys know that? No?
I didn't. Actually I thought you were doing pretty well
last time I checked. You guys are making good money
comparatively to the average person. Yeah, but I'm a civil servant. Again,
settle down with the sacrifice. Next thing, you know, you

(00:58):
guys want medals. I don't think this is very funny, Chad. Now,
it's ridiculous, is what it is. The hysteria, and it's
plenty of it. I haven't seen hysteria like this since
def Leppard they did an alm clements. Hysteria is awesome. Well,
all the things they're gonna do, we don't know what's
gonna happen. The courts are gonna have to say and

(01:20):
all this stuff. That's the reality of the courts will
have their say in so much of this stuff. And
one of the things I've said from the beginning, settle down.
Trump's gonna try a lot of stuff, and he's gonna
throw a munch stuff out there. He's gonna find out
what sticks, and he can find out a lot of
it doesn't stick the way he wants it to, and

(01:40):
he's gonna have to go to Congress, which will be
the hilarity of.

Speaker 7 (01:43):
It all because a lot of people are talking the
good game.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
As I said last week with Congress is they're talking
a really good game. But when push comes to shove,
they're gonna actually have to put up. And a lot
of people out there are gonna say, well, I mean,
I'm with Trump, but it's the same time, my district.

Speaker 7 (02:03):
My bloody blah, my state.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
They need some of this stuff, and me getting rid
of it is going to be unpopular. So we'll see
what happens when and if it gets to that point.
But listening to people yesterday complain, wine and moan, and
a vast majority of it is about Elon. But it's
only because Elon has been allowed to do these things

(02:27):
because of Trump.

Speaker 8 (02:28):
He has brought about criminals, losers, liars, and cheefs to
dismantle and frankly insult.

Speaker 5 (02:37):
Our great governments.

Speaker 8 (02:38):
But despite all of that, I have a great hope
because here the American people are speaking out against his.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
Will, because that's all this is.

Speaker 8 (02:46):
It's his personal will, and we're not going.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
To submit to one man's will because that's.

Speaker 8 (02:51):
Not how democracy works, That's not how America works. We
worked on the principles that liberty is given to inch of.

Speaker 9 (02:59):
Us and the amous words of Patrick.

Speaker 8 (03:01):
Henry, give me liberty or give mek you welcome, good night,
Now drop the mic.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
Okay, that was one guy, and I say, guys, a kid.
He's got headphones around his neck. And of course it
wouldn't be a protest if we didn't at least throw
Hitler's name out there once in his first term.

Speaker 10 (03:26):
His incompetence costs four hundred thousand American lives. It is
it's appropriate that the only person in history to be
responsible for more American debts than Donald Trump is his idol,
Adolf Hitler.

Speaker 11 (03:46):
Ah.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Of course, by the way, if we want to get technical,
about four hundred and twenty five thousand people died under
Trump's watch with COVID over a year. That's without a
fact scene. There was way more than that with Biden
and over the three years it was about three times

(04:08):
as many. So we're gonna if we're gonna talk about it,
and that's with a vaccine. We're gonna, be honest, got
to evoke Alf Hitdler. Like if you don't invoke Hitler,
but Chad, they're losing their jobs. Here's something for you.
Why you guys listening to this? So, of course, as
we talk about all of this and and what's going
on and how many people are gonna die because Doge

(04:29):
isn't there and whatnot, and how many people are getting
laid off nationwide today for a myriad of reasons or
yesterday or last week, and there was nobody there. There's
nobody there for you, There's nobody there. I mean, I'm
in a business that has cutthroat as it gets. We

(04:51):
have been living in the Doge world in radio for
thirty years. And I'm not just saying that this is
this like, this is what our business has been for
thirty years, how about yesterday.

Speaker 12 (05:09):
Southwest Airlines launched in nineteen seventy one on a simple
concept lead out by founder Herb Kellerher.

Speaker 13 (05:15):
The way we look at it, the quicker you're in
the air, the quicker you get where you're.

Speaker 12 (05:19):
Going beyond the ten minute turnaround. Keller Her built a
culture of respect between employees and management.

Speaker 14 (05:24):
It's always people first.

Speaker 12 (05:25):
Former Southwest spokesman Ed Stewart.

Speaker 5 (05:28):
That's why I think this is such a big shock
in the industry.

Speaker 12 (05:30):
Southwest will cut more than seventeen hundred employees, mainly at
its headquarters here in Dallas.

Speaker 7 (05:36):
Wow, that's a that's big.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
We're gonna see if all the media is out there
or they're just going to report on the fact that
they're cutting. We're gonna see if all the media is
out there fighting for their job. Because Elon Musk, I'm
just I'm curious, and you know, I do my videos
every night and some of you are like, well, it's
because of this, that and the other, and you're gonna
have to live with this, live with what Nothing's nothing's

(06:01):
been decided, none of this, None of this has been
decided Supreme Court's gonna have the final say in a
vast majority of these things. And there are laws that
have been put into place, and Congress knows they're gonna
have to at some point in time step up to
take care of some of this, but nothing has been decided.

(06:24):
Are there some places that he can cut, yes, Willie hopefully.
Are there things that we need to do to strengthen
our government, streamline it, make it more efficient? Oh? Absolutely.
But this thought of well it's over now, the whole
world's over, which you and I know is a bunch

(06:47):
of crap, and none of that stuff's gonna happen. You
throw it out there, you see what happens, and then
we go from there. We watch it because that's all
we can do. You and I don't work for the
federal government. You and I don't. We're not civil servants.
Is that, lady? You don't even know I'm a civil servant.

(07:09):
I work here for you, do you? By the way,
let's go over the private versus federal private versus federal wages,
average private sector worker compensation. You guys ready for this
because I like to throw that out there because remember,

(07:30):
they're doing it for us, They're civil servants.

Speaker 7 (07:32):
They're not doing it because they get paid well.

Speaker 2 (07:35):
So the average salary for the United States sixty two
twenty seven dollars. That is, according to the US Bureau
of Labor Statistics. It's about a four and a half
percent increase from twenty twenty three. The average federal employee

(07:59):
makes ninety two hundred and seventy nine dollars, with total
compensation including benefits one hundred and forty three thousand, six
hundred and forty three dollars. But I'm doing it for you.
It's a sacrifice I make for you. Good chat.

Speaker 7 (08:15):
Look are there places they're cutting that aren't gonna be cut?

Speaker 2 (08:18):
Yes? Are there some things they are gonna be cut
that I'm totally fine with, or the money's gonna be
moved elsewhere. Yes. But before everybody jumps off the cliff,
which is hard because in the reactionary world do we
live in with hairs on fire, everybody's first response is
jumping off the cliff. Before we do that, let's see
what happens. Okay, before we decide that the world's over

(08:43):
and that everybody's gonna die and all of these things
are gonna happen, take a deep breath.

Speaker 6 (08:48):
If you don't have employees to be out there and
have the numbers and the databases and the websites are
being removed, and that information is not available to doctors
across the nation, and to warn people about these things.
We are going in blind and that's going to kill people.
People are going to die because of this.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
People are going to die because of this.

Speaker 15 (09:10):
We're all terrified.

Speaker 16 (09:11):
These are people that have dedicated their entire careers to
serving veterans and our work is being ripped away from us.

Speaker 17 (09:17):
And it's scary.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
It's really scary. Oh, it is scary. By the way,
somebody said yesterday their their VA point was canceled. I
said that sucks. Has that ever happened before? Well, yeah, okay,
well this time because of DOJ okay, but before it
was what remember for years, how incompetent the VA was,
how awful it was, how horrible was This is our

(09:40):
reaction to something.

Speaker 7 (09:41):
We bitch, we whine, we scream, We yet we talked
about how horrible it is. We say, you know what,
we need to make some changes.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
This is what we're going to do. Well, hold on,
slow down, I'm not quite sure we want to do that.
Just yet, Well, what do you want to do? I
don't know. I don't know. What about the FAA.

Speaker 18 (09:54):
I don't think people voted to get rid of air
traffic controllers.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
That's not happening, by the way, it's not happening. Well,
they're gonna cut some people. Yes, they're gonna cut some
people at the fa They are gonna do that. Do
you think they're cutting air traffic controllers or do you
think maybe every air traffic controller doesn't need their own manager.
So much of this is the administrative state. But just

(10:19):
watching people lose their mind, watching people just freak out, everybody, relax, relax.
Scotus is gonna have a huge say in this. Then
Congress is gonna have a say. All this is let's
throw everything. It's the wall.

Speaker 7 (10:34):
It's moving too fast. I don't like it.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
I've heard that from a lot of conservatives. By the way,
Oh my god, this feels uncomfortable. It's moving too fast. Yeah,
it might be moving a lot faster than we're normally
used to, but eventually it's gonna get caught up in
the giant bureaucracy and slow down, and then it's gonna
be frustration town for everybody, and then a lot of
these things are gonna be overturned or they're not going
to happen, and then everybody's gonna be bitching again about

(10:55):
the fact that these things are inefficient. It don't work, right.
Welcome to the fickle part of America. Oh yeah, that sucks,
I know, right. Three two, three, five, eight, twenty four,
twenty three at Chad Benson Show, is your Twitter tweet
that us text the program. Thank you Craig for filling
in for me yesterday. I got a little bit of
a relaxation in which is what I needed on that

(11:17):
President's Day or excuse me, not my President's Day. Speaking
of that. Birch Gold, Baby, Birch Gold. At the time
we find ourselves in right now, gold is important. Hell,
they're going to go to Fort Knox if there's any
of gold in there. Why not put yourself in a
position to protect yourself in the event that something may
go sideways, whether it's inflation, continue to strife around the globe,

(11:41):
maybe the market pops at some point in time. You
want to be able to protect yourself, and Birch Gold
is going to help you do that. First text the
word Benson to ninety eight ninety eight ninety eight today.
When you do that, they're going to send you out
the Ultimate Guide to Gold and the Trump Era on
top of that and get you out an investor kit.
Let you take a look at this and why investing

(12:02):
isn't smart when it comes to gold diversifying what's happening
out there, does it cost you anything? And there's no
high pressure sales when it comes to working with Birch.
Text the word Benson now to ninety eight ninety eight
ninety eight today to get the Ultimate Guide to Golden
the Trump Era with a foe done by Don Junior
as well as the Investor Kit. So text the word

(12:25):
Benson to ninety eight ninety eight ninety eight today to
get the Ultimate Guide to Golden the Trump Era from
our good friends over at Birch as well as the
investor kit. Do it, don't wait. You can't afford to
not in today's world. That's Benson to ninety eight ninety eight,
ninety eight for Birch Gold at Chad Benson Show, Twitter,
Chad b e ns And we got planes in the sky,

(12:47):
then they're on the ground, then they're upside down. I
don't think that was planned a lot of stuff to
get to, including the great story of Doug's Winter party
and how it went and it went well Chad Benson Show,

(13:09):
Chad Benson.

Speaker 18 (13:14):
Playing crash on size, I'll try down.

Speaker 14 (13:20):
Most people were all getting off.

Speaker 7 (13:23):
What the hell's going on in the skies? Better yet,
what the hell's going on close to the ground.

Speaker 2 (13:27):
Takeoff and landing is the most dangerous time, There's no
doubt about that. So yesterday, yet another issue with a plane,
this time a Delta playing going from Minneapolis to Toronto.

Speaker 7 (13:38):
Eh, and something happened when it landed.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
There didn't seem to be anything crazy going on up
until that point, although the weather is pretty nasty out there,
but no Mayday calls, nothing like that.

Speaker 19 (13:53):
Everything was really textbook. The flight attendants shouting their commands,
telling people to leave their bags behind, stop on their phones,
and get out, and for the most part, these passengers
listened to the instructions and got out of that plane safely,
leaving their bags behind. This was a traumatic experience for
these people, but they listened to the instructions and that's

(14:14):
why all eighty people.

Speaker 2 (14:15):
Are alive, one person critically injured, nine others injured but
not critical, and the wings sheared off and the wings
is where all the fuel was stored. So that really
may have been the best thing because at that point
in time, there was very little chance there was going
to be any kind of incident when it came to fuel.

Speaker 7 (14:35):
But I go back to it again, like, what the
hell happened? What happened?

Speaker 2 (14:43):
How did a plane land and then an upside down
with no wings?

Speaker 18 (14:46):
It was a typical flight from Minneapolis to Toronto, and
we were coming in and I did notice that, like
the winds were super gusty, the snow had kind of
blown over the runways and when we hit it was
just a super hard to hit the ground and the
plane went sideways and I believe we skidded like on

(15:07):
our side and then flipped over on our back.

Speaker 14 (15:09):
Where we ended out.

Speaker 18 (15:11):
There was like a big fireball out of the left
side of the plane. And when we got finished, it
was I was upside down.

Speaker 2 (15:19):
Upside down. You n did yourself and you got yourself
out of there. The question I said earlier to my buddy,
I said, so, if your phone's in the bag and
you let yourself go, do you try to get your
phone out of the bag. And that was a yes
from ninety nine percent of the people I've talked to

(15:40):
three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four to twenty
three at Chad Benson Show is your Twitter tweet at
US text the program right here in the Chad Benson Show,
it was mass chaos.

Speaker 18 (15:51):
I was upside down. The lady next to me was
upside down. We kind of let ourselves go and fell
to hit the ceiling, which is surreal feeling. And then
everybody was just like, get out, get out, get out.
We could smell like jet fuel even now I smell
like jet fuel.

Speaker 2 (16:10):
They got Nobody was injured, But there's a lot of
questions to be asked about. Was the wind so bad
and the runways so.

Speaker 7 (16:22):
Really black ice ish that maybe this.

Speaker 2 (16:27):
Shouldn't have took place because there was already a ton
of flights canceled at that time throughout the day in Toronto.
Except very real question that will be figured out, I'm
sure in the coming days and weeks. But thank god,
nobody was killed in that all the souls were accounted for.

(16:47):
Speaking of all.

Speaker 20 (16:49):
The souls, Mayor Adams only has one soul, but everybody
said he sold it and he should be still being
investigated and under indictment.

Speaker 2 (17:01):
The reality is that's not happening, although a bunch of
his people are leaving left right in the center. And
we're gonna talk a little bit about this as it
pertains to immigration, because the reason he's there, the reason
he's stuck around, the reason.

Speaker 21 (17:15):
That Trump did what he did is simple, has all
to do with immigration and whether or not he's going
to be an ally for Trump when it comes to
New York and immigration three two, three, five, three, eight,
twenty four, twenty three At Chad Benson Shows your Twitter
tweet at US text the program You're missing you Sugar,

(17:35):
the podcast.

Speaker 2 (17:36):
It is The Chad Medson.

Speaker 9 (17:37):
Show, Son, Chad Benson, Joe.

Speaker 1 (18:00):
The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (18:02):
Watch a little bit of the Saturday Night Live special
over the weekend fifty years But everybody's talking about Tom
Hanks and his portrayal of Doug. A lot of Dougs
on the show today and the MAGA supporter on Black Jeopardy.

Speaker 22 (18:16):
Oh well, thank you hey. Now, speaking to church, can
I say something? If more folks went to church, we
wouldn't be in this mess we're in now.

Speaker 23 (18:25):
You know what?

Speaker 2 (18:26):
I agree with you, Doug. I'd like to shake your
hand sir, here we go.

Speaker 5 (18:29):
Oh no, no, no, oh no no, it's just a handshake.
Yeah right, you're.

Speaker 2 (18:34):
Welcome to Black Jepardy anytime.

Speaker 14 (18:36):
Well, all right, thank you, my mind by brother.

Speaker 22 (18:39):
Now, maybe I'll start a show for you to come
on and we'll call it what jeopardy.

Speaker 2 (18:44):
We don't need it.

Speaker 14 (18:46):
We don't need it.

Speaker 2 (18:47):
And of course it made it seem like everybody who's
a Trump supporter is a racist. But many of you
out there already call us racist and whatever. Nazi. I
get the Nazi thing all the time. It's pretty it's
pretty spectacular. I haven't checked my text. I should do
that because usually there's a lot of you're a Nazi,

(19:07):
you're a pos. Those are my favorites. I love the
because every time you remember every time you call somebody
a Nazi, Do you think that that actually does anything
for anybody?

Speaker 7 (19:19):
Do you do you think that does you?

Speaker 2 (19:21):
Do you think at that point in time that it
changes anybody's mind?

Speaker 24 (19:25):
No?

Speaker 2 (19:26):
Do you think at that point in time that people go, oh,
you know what, now that you've said that you're right,
I am a Nazi and everybody comes together or do
you think you just scream and yell and you don't
know what to say because you can't stop what's happening,
and so you freak out and you're like, ah my god,
it's only because you're a Nazi. Get a lot of
the elon is you know, a Nazi a lot of

(19:49):
that too, And of course you know me always, it's
just so insane. Everybody's settled down and while all that's
going on. I want to remind everybody, all of that
is happening, where all this insanity is going on about
it's wrong what he's doing, it's illegal what he's doing,
it's awful what he's doing, et cetera, et cetera. You

(20:10):
have AOC and all of these NGOs out there who
are teaching people that are here illegally how to get
around ICE. I want you to think about that for
a second. I want you to They're showing people, Hey,
this is what's going to happen. Should Ice come, Let
me do this, let me do that, let us show

(20:32):
you what goes on, let us give you kind of
the tips. I'm going to make sure the NGOs, again
not elected officials, get to a place where they can
help you skirt and get around potentially getting caught. Oh, okay.

Speaker 25 (20:47):
Alexandra Cassio Cortez, congresswoman, putting out a webinar to help
illegals avoid I guess apprehension, giving tips about how to
continue to remain in the country and ultimately gain the system.

Speaker 26 (21:01):
And I sent an email today as Deputy Attorney General,
at what level is that impediment?

Speaker 14 (21:05):
Is that impediment?

Speaker 26 (21:06):
I'm not an attorney, I'm not a prosecute Is that impediment?
Is that impeding our law enforce and efforts? So what
are we going to do about it? Is she crossing
the line? So I'm working with the Department of Justice
and finding out where is that line that they crossed.
So maybe AOC is going to be in trouble now,
but I need the AOG to oppine on that.

Speaker 2 (21:25):
Settle down. Tom Holmi gets very excited. Could you start
throwing out AOG what AOC? Okay? But is he right?
I mean, so you're you're upset, Well, he's cutting this
or he's doing that. That's not elected. You've got elected
officials telling unelected people how to get around lawful lawful

(21:49):
by the way, in many cases, removal orders, as well
as people that are here illgally without any removal orders,
some of them just here if they didn't even go
through the process asylum, et cetera. That's right, and they're
telling everybody this is what you're supposed to do. Well,
there's a lot of money involved in that, right, you know.
I mean if we're talking about money and waste and this,
that and the other, and a lot of that stuff

(22:10):
goes where to those NGOs, and they don't want to
lose any of that because people are here illegally.

Speaker 7 (22:17):
That's big business.

Speaker 2 (22:19):
Oh, oh, tell us more.

Speaker 26 (22:21):
You can claim you're educating those constitutions rights. Okay, you
can keep that claim. What's what she in fact's doing
telling people don't open your door, hiding at home, don't
talk to Ice. We're talking about people are in the
country legally committed a crime to a public safety thread.
They've been convicted of serious crime, and they've in order
to be moved by federal judge. So it's like able
to see in others don't want Ice to enforce the

(22:42):
laws that they enacted. She's a member of Congress. Let
us enforce the laws you enacted. That's what we're supposed
to do. Impediment, it's impediment in my opinion. I'm not
a prosecutor, but we need some further guidance on that.

Speaker 7 (22:53):
No doubt, I'm just thrown out there, you know.

Speaker 2 (22:56):
If we're going to ask some questions about is what
they're doing legally? Who elected him? Well, she's elected, and
then she's telling non elected people how to get around
ice and help people that are breaking the law. So
there's that, so damn frustrating. And we're talking earlier about
Mayor Adams. For you who don't know, Mayor Adams was

(23:20):
indicted face some serious charges, then no longer indicted kind
of sorta, and this is like one of those things
where everybody freaks out about this and all of this
people are resigning. It's on pause. The best way to
describe what's going on with Mayor Adams New York is
it's on pause. So they have the opportunity, potentially when

(23:42):
he's no longer mayor, to restart said investigation. At this
point in.

Speaker 27 (23:50):
Time, outside City Hall, the calls were for the mayor
to resign and for the governor to remove him if
he doesn't, But the mayor was in a bedstye church
hearing these chants.

Speaker 7 (24:00):
Instead.

Speaker 27 (24:04):
First though, he's got to get through his first term
and the chaos from the resignation of four deputy mayors,
including the first deputy.

Speaker 7 (24:11):
He's insisting he can.

Speaker 2 (24:13):
I might be mayor. I don't even know at this
point in time. He thinks he can. But there's a
reason that Trump did this because he knows I need
to deal with what's going on in New York. I
need to deal with the immigration. I need to deal
with all of these people that are here illegally. And
this city has rolled out the red carpet. Then it

(24:33):
got too much. Then they begged this for money, and
they told everybody not to come and don't send any
more people here, and it became a giant And I
know with him, I've got somewhat of an ally who
will help me when it comes to working with potentially
city and state folks, especially when it comes to the worst.

Speaker 27 (24:54):
First, the mayor took a dig at one of his
biggest critics, public advocates, You money Williams, who become mayor
if Adams resigns. He said, that is reason enough not
to now. If that were to happen, the public advocate
would become the mayor temporarily and there would be a
special election and that would be in addition to the
primary and general elections this year to elect a mayor

(25:16):
who takes office in January twenty twenty six.

Speaker 2 (25:20):
A lot of stuff going on there. Might as well
just stick it out because you don't want the alternative,
which is they kick back up the investigation and probably,
and probably he goes to jail. What did he do?
Wire fraud, conspiracy of fraud the United States, bribery one
hundred thousand dollars in luxury perks from Turkish nationals, solicitation

(25:44):
of contributions by foreign nationals, et cetera, et cetera. So
could he be in serious trouble? Yeah, he would face
some serious time if it happened. So Trump sees over
there and says, ah, that stuff should never have happened.

Speaker 7 (26:00):
Blah blah blah blah blah.

Speaker 2 (26:01):
They're going after him because he doesn't want illegal immigration.
They're targeting him specifically for that. Blah blah blah blah blah.
He'll be a helper on my team. Do I understand
why people are pissed? Absolutely? I do.

Speaker 7 (26:15):
Do I see why he's doing this one hundred percent?

Speaker 2 (26:18):
Is it right?

Speaker 23 (26:19):
No?

Speaker 2 (26:19):
It's politics, And unfortunately, politics is ugly at times, and
it is nasty, and you do things that maybe you
would rather not do. But to get what you need done,
you have to maybe do some stuff that. Let's be real,

(26:41):
in any other situation, any other democratic mayor that was
all about immigration and illegal immigration, would this investigation have happened.
I don't know. Would Trump be helping out if this
guy was all about illegal immigration and shielding?

Speaker 7 (27:00):
Probably not.

Speaker 2 (27:01):
You're using what you have in front of you, and unfortunately,
in the world of politics, that's not always pretty. Three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson

Oh my lord, what kind of party was it this weekend?

(28:24):
We'll talk about straight head.

Speaker 1 (28:36):
Fronting with scissors. Sounds great compared to.

Speaker 2 (28:38):
This, say, there was a lot of partying going on
Saturday night. First, let's start here Montreal and arguably one
of the biggest hockey games in the last God knows
how long. And I'm talking massive, packed, sold out arena
in Montreal. The Bell said, is what it's called. It's Canadian.

(29:02):
It doesn't matter. So instead of in lieu of an
All Star weekend that they normally have, because the NBA
had Theirs going on this weekend, they did a four
Nations tournament, so you had Canada, Finland, Sweden, and the
United States played over eight days.

Speaker 7 (29:24):
And Saturday night.

Speaker 2 (29:27):
Was arguably the biggest game that these two have played
against each other in maybe ten years.

Speaker 7 (29:34):
And it started out a little bit like boo birds.

Speaker 2 (29:38):
Because obviously we're having issues with Canada and they're having
issues with us, and you know, it's kind of it's
a lover's quarrel if you will, but this is not
a way to start it. But then it got down
and dirty that included fights the minute the pockehit the
ground and lots of them and did a little Canada
whoop ass from Merca. We're gonna drop the left, run away.

Speaker 13 (30:07):
Yep, Sarah Bennett Brady kicks truck, what a tough what
on Newer and Miller dropped the left for Perrico's gonna
answer and p the way speed lakel into the zone.

Speaker 2 (30:21):
Toli pick it through.

Speaker 9 (30:22):
Stars keep tied.

Speaker 13 (30:25):
As tv USA has answered, and he goes Lurk and
it's a two one Lurking. Stars give him Lurkin and
tv USA and Daddy Ice Lurking with the open left.

Speaker 2 (30:37):
The craft gets up Stars.

Speaker 13 (30:40):
Because he gets us down a second hand on Clipchu're
here for tv USA. It's gonna do it a hard
fought tv USA victory.

Speaker 2 (30:51):
Hard fought indeed, nine seconds, three fights message sent. Now
they're in the finals. They played last night. They lost
to Sweden two to one. It didn't matter. They were
already in the finals. And the hope was Canada would
be there again. And this time it's going to be
in Boston at the TD Gardens Arenas, so we'll have

(31:12):
all of the patriotic atmosphere you can dream of with
the smidge racism. Because it's Boston, it's not very nice.
The tickets are beyond hard to get. In fact, now,
mind you, this is supposed to be in lieu of
the All Star Game, this Four Nations tournament. It is incredible.

(31:36):
And the patriotism, I mean, you know, I had buddies
texting me who loves sports are like, dude, I'm watching
this game. This is incredible because of a what's going
on with us in Canada and the back and forth politically.

Speaker 7 (31:48):
But also it's just great to watch.

Speaker 2 (31:52):
And there's no doubt that you know, Canada is you know,
from top to bottom. Probably it's the best team in
the world because they have a guy named McDavid on
it who's a freak. But it was incredible to watch.
And let's give you an idea of how hard it
is to get these tickets for Thursday night. Cheapest seat
right now at stub Hub twelve hundred and fifty bucks

(32:15):
and you're way up there. Most expensive that you can
find on the stub Hub is five grand and that
is expected to continue to rise over the next couple days.
It's gonna be awesome. Indeed, now that was a hard
ticket to get. You know what else was a hard
ticket to get Doug's Winter Party. You guys, remember we
talked about that last week. Phenomenal. We partied a little bit,

(32:38):
we joined in the live stream and there were lots
of people around the globe doing it.

Speaker 5 (32:42):
It was the event of the season, thrown by the
host who's stole in our hearts. Doug's Winter party, drawing
dozens of neighbors over the weekend lucky enough to score
an invite to Doug Turner's home in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

Speaker 14 (32:56):
It's been a great connection with a bunch of good neighbors.

Speaker 5 (32:59):
Doug's fun, living spirit, inspiring people to throw their own
winter parties, joining in as Doug's party was streaming, and
thousands more fans from around the country and beyond getting
in on the fund.

Speaker 28 (33:10):
I thought we're going to have twenty people, maybe one hundred.
There's been thousands registered.

Speaker 5 (33:16):
From Texas to North Carolina and all the way north
to Calgary, Canada, dancing the night away under a banner
with Doug's iconic line.

Speaker 2 (33:25):
That's right his line, four pm until the cops shut
us down.

Speaker 7 (33:31):
So how did this happen? We talked about it last week.

Speaker 2 (33:35):
Kind old man shows up at a house, gives out
a handwritten letter that he's going to have a party
on the fifteenth of February, and you're invited to the neighbor.

Speaker 5 (33:45):
It all started with eighty seven year old Doug Turner's
party invitation to his neighbor going viral.

Speaker 14 (33:50):
That's an invite to a party on February fifteenth.

Speaker 5 (33:54):
The time four pm until the cops arrived.

Speaker 14 (33:57):
The cops never showed down.

Speaker 5 (34:00):
Neighbor Michelle Hernanaz's video of Doug hand delivering her invitation
now has more than two million views. Social media lighting
up with news of the party. I think everybody should
have a neighbor like Doug, Michael and celebrities like Michael
Boublain joining in on the fund. Doug, You're win. The
party sounds amazing. Fan mail arriving from around the world.

Speaker 29 (34:21):
From Australia, My sweet neighbor inviting us to his party,
and there's my picture on the front.

Speaker 2 (34:27):
It was awesome. It was great. It was a reminder
that we're human.

Speaker 7 (34:34):
Our neighbors are our neighbors.

Speaker 2 (34:36):
They're not the political party that maybe they vote for
or whatever. Hey, let's get together because we just don't
do that anymore.

Speaker 7 (34:43):
And he was right on about it, build.

Speaker 29 (34:45):
Up the strength of the neighborhood. Yeah, to me, as
part of humanity. I guess that somebody had to start
it and maybe this will continue to go on, you know,
during the spring summer and following around.

Speaker 14 (34:56):
The every year.

Speaker 5 (34:57):
Doug Turner proving bringing neighbors together other never gets old.

Speaker 14 (35:02):
So I hope we'll see you next time.

Speaker 29 (35:03):
I think I think it's kind of embarrassing to me
because my dad was not a braggart and he hated it,
so he'd be unhappy with this. But the thing I
do like about is if other people really are setting
up parties for their neighborhood friends, that's going to be
a good thing in the country because we're kind of
divided now.

Speaker 14 (35:20):
Just might fix some of that.

Speaker 2 (35:21):
I hope, Amen, I agree it's phenomenal. And yes, we
attended it for a while, not actually there in Bucks
County on the online version of it. Three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four, twenty three at Chad Benson Show.
Is your Twitter tweet at us texta program right here
on The Chad Benson Show coming up hour two and

(35:44):
talk a little bit about uh Russia, Ukraine, what is
happening there. Obviously Trump wants to sit down with Putin.
Is this a strategy where you're going to talk with one,
then go talk to the other and then try to
get everybody together or is it is just Trump's way
of saying, I'm gonna give you everything you want, Laddy,
because I love you.

Speaker 29 (36:05):
Ma.

Speaker 7 (36:06):
We'll have more on the insane protest that took place yesterday,
and they were insane.

Speaker 2 (36:11):
Let's be honest, some of them were crazy, and we
have a very special nature will mess you up. Arguably
the dumbest thing ever. You're gonna want to hear this.
If you're missening the show, make sure you'd the podcast.
It is the Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 1 (36:25):
This is the Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (36:55):
I am a huge free speech advocate. Even if you
hate me, I will defend your right to have a
disdain for me and call me all the horrible things
because it's important that we have speech. Every single thing
that we have achieved when it comes to progress, civil rights,

(37:20):
women's rights, LGBTQ plus rights, et cetera, et cetera, that
is all because of free speech. All of that is
because of free speech. That's how powerful speech is. So
on Friday, later in the day, the it if you

(37:41):
will hit the fan after Vance delivered, and that's JD.

Speaker 7 (37:45):
Vance, Vice President of United States of America, a.

Speaker 2 (37:47):
Speech going after the powers that be in your saying, look,
you can sit here and you can talk about all
this other stuff, but speech is important, and you cracking
down on your people and what they believe and how
they feel is ridiculous. And if you do that, I
don't care where you are on the planet. Once that

(38:10):
speech then goes away, so does your democracy.

Speaker 30 (38:13):
And trust me, I say this with all humor. If
American democracy can survive ten years of Thunberg scolding you
guys can survive a few months of Elon Musk.

Speaker 2 (38:23):
But what German.

Speaker 30 (38:24):
Democracy, What no democracy, American, German or European will survive,
is telling millions of voters that their thoughts and concerns,
their aspirations they're pleased for relief are invalid or unworthy
of even being considered.

Speaker 2 (38:43):
Amen, you're seeing it in the UK, you're seeing it
in Germany. You're seeing them freak out over this. Oh
my god, I can't believe he came Verny insulted us
like this, Who should be talking about all these other things? No,
there was a right for him to do this, because
he's looking over at what should be our closest ally,

(39:06):
the Brits and their insanity where people are getting arrested
for memes. How meme you?

Speaker 7 (39:14):
What happened they got memed to death? No, yes, it happened.

Speaker 2 (39:18):
It was and is ridiculous to think that you could
go to jail for something as stupid as that. Well, Chad,
that's just not real. Actually it very much is. And
we'll get to that in a second. Because as all
of this is going on and the Europeans are complaining
about this, sixty Minutes had a great piece that highlighted
the insanity of what goes on over there. No it doesn't,

(39:44):
Yes it does.

Speaker 31 (39:45):
It's six oh one on a Tuesday morning, and we
were with state police as they raided this apartment in
northwest Germany just to put inside them unity inside. Six
armed officers searched to so SPEC's home, then seized his
laptop and cell phone. Prosecutors say those electronics may have

(40:06):
been used to commit a crime, the crime posting a
racist cartoon online. At the exact same time, across Germany,
listen to the boot, more than fifty similar raids played out,
part of what prosecutors say is a coordinated effort to
curb online hate speech in Germany.

Speaker 7 (40:30):
That's insane.

Speaker 2 (40:32):
So you got fifty plus of these things going on,
kicking the door and coming after, you're gonna meme anybody else?
I don't think so, not today, sir, not today, speech
under attack. Oh absolutely, why without Chad? No, that's yeah,
that's real. That came out on sixty minutes. So criticizes
them on Friday. They go, ah, none of that's true,

(40:55):
and the sixty minutes is a big thing about hey
we got meme, like a meme swat team.

Speaker 31 (41:00):
Typical reaction when the police show up at somebody's door
and they say, hey, we believe you wrote this on
the internet.

Speaker 32 (41:08):
They say in Germany, we say that's a bit more
modis off my tagon.

Speaker 2 (41:12):
Tom.

Speaker 32 (41:12):
So we are here with crimes of talking posting an
internet and the people are surprised that this is really
illegal to post these kind of words.

Speaker 31 (41:23):
They don't think it was illegal.

Speaker 2 (41:24):
Now they don't think it was illegal.

Speaker 32 (41:26):
And they say, no, that's my free speech, and we
say no, yeah, free speech as well, but it also limits.

Speaker 2 (41:34):
Oh we have free speech. It has as limits here too.
But this is insane. And you've seen the lady that
gets arrested for quietly praying in front of abortion clinic,
not yelling at anybody, not screaming anybody, not stopping anybody
I coming in, quietly playing, but because they feel that
you're making people uncomfortable they take you into custody because
for thought crimes, kids, for thought crimes.

Speaker 31 (41:55):
Interpreting those limits is part of the job for doctor
matteasphink in your mining House and Frank Mihai l Lau,
a few of the state prosecutors tasked with policing Germany's
robust hate speech laws online. After its darkest chapter, Germany
strengthened it speech laws. As prosecutors explain it, the German

(42:19):
constitution protects free speech, but not hate speech. And here's
where it gets tricky. German law prohibits any speech that
could incite hatred or is deemed insulting.

Speaker 2 (42:31):
Oh oh, so you could put something out there, somebody
could interpret that.

Speaker 7 (42:38):
As hate speech and ahoa, la, you're in trouble.

Speaker 2 (42:41):
Now. Why I say this and the insanity that is
because CBS, of course took to the Sunday morning shows
to remind everybody that's, hey, Nazis because of free speech.
That's what happened with the Nazis, right, like they had
free speech and then all of a sudden they were
Nazis and they killed Jews.

Speaker 33 (42:59):
Well, he was standing in a country where free speech
was weaponized to coentuct a genocide and he met with
the head of a political party that has far right
views and some historic ties to extreme groups. The context
of that was changing the tone of it. And you

(43:23):
know that that the censorship.

Speaker 7 (43:25):
Disagree with you specifically about the right.

Speaker 2 (43:27):
Now I have to disagree with you. Secretary of State
right there defending Vance and said no, no, no, no.
Free speech didn't kill the Jews. The Nazis did well, Chad,
because they had free speech. This is what happened. Actually,
that's not true, because you see even before is the
new thing that they're going after the people. There was
already a situation in Germany long before that, but the

(43:50):
Weimar Republic, this speech was restricted. That's right, kids, Even
before Adolph Hitler, they had stuff in place to stop
insanity from happening when it came to free speech, and
boy did that not go well.

Speaker 16 (44:08):
If Germany had only had anti hate speech laws and
had censored the Nazi speech, Hitler would not have risen
to power. The Holocaust would not have happened.

Speaker 5 (44:23):
That right.

Speaker 2 (44:23):
There is a lady who, by the way, describes herself
as a liberal feminist, first woman ever to lead the ACLU,
professor at New York Law and a member of the
Council on Foreign Relations, among other things, and she's here
to point out the BS that comes with, well, they're
doing it because it's good to block hate speech, because

(44:45):
that wasn't done, and that was really the reason in
the impetus that the Nazis had to rise to the top, which,
as we come to find out, was BS.

Speaker 16 (44:57):
Some experts refer to that theory as the Weimar fallacy,
referring to the Weimar Republic from nineteen eighteen to nineteen
thirty three, and the word fallacy because it is in
fact not true that there was free speech for hate speech,

(45:18):
including Nazi speech, during the Weimar Republic. To the contrary,
Germany then had multiple laws that restricted hate speech, insulting speech,
speech that advocated or might incite violence against various groups,
including religious groups, laws against defaming or insulting a religion,

(45:43):
including the Jewish religion, and all of those laws were
very strictly.

Speaker 2 (45:49):
Enforced, very strictly enforced, in fact, to the point where yes,
even the Nazis paid the price for it, including that little.

Speaker 16 (45:57):
Guy, including by the leading Jewish organization at the time,
there was a very large organization. I think it's quite
similar in concept to the Anti Defamation League in the
United States that had offices all over Germany and made
sure that all of these laws were regularly enforced through
both criminal prosecution and civil lawsuits. And many of the

(46:22):
leading Nazis were repeatedly prosecuted and convicted and even served
prison times. There were court orders suppressing the publication of
various Nazi newspapers. Pamphlets that were anti Semitic were punished
and were suppressed. Hitler himself was actually banned from public

(46:47):
speaking for several years.

Speaker 2 (46:50):
What you see when you take speech away from people
and you don't allow people to engage, and you don't
allow people to hear another side, what happens is everybody
that feels they're being attacked now has all the receipts
and proof they need that they are being attacked, that

(47:10):
they are being demonized, that they are being blamed. And
so what happens You make them go away, and you think, oh,
we've done good, now we've done great. What ends up
happening is they go away, they feel like they're martyrs,
They radicalize themselves and then lo and behold crazy rises
and there's issues. Speech is so important and we must

(47:34):
at all costs, protect it because when the first Amendment fails,
people will turn to the second Amendment. We must protect
speech at all costs. There are plenty of things I
get called every single day, and I will always protect
people's rights to say ridiculous things always. The fact that
we have allies that are supposedly champions of liberalism who

(48:00):
are going after individuals who post something that they find
to be potentially offensive is terrifying.

Speaker 7 (48:10):
And when I hear.

Speaker 2 (48:11):
People want to squash free speech, more often than not
it comes from the left, which is not good at all.
Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four to twenty
three at Chadminton Show, is your Twitter tweet?

Speaker 7 (48:26):
At is text the program? Field of greens? Oh baby,
are you ready to be healthy?

Speaker 2 (48:32):
Yes?

Speaker 7 (48:33):
Are you ready to actually get your greens?

Speaker 2 (48:36):
Yes? Because if you're like me, fruits and vegetables not
top of mind. But you know what field of greens
will help you through that. I got a crazy schedule.
You guys know that five servings of fruits and vegetables. Yeah,
it's not happening, not the way that you would think,
Oh yeah, I'm gonna sit down. No, no, no, no, But
you know what field of Greens. It does happen. I'll
tell you why. It's super simple. First, one delicious glass

(48:58):

Every fruit and vegetable in the Field of Greens is
doctor selected for specific benefits which includes hard health, lung
and kidney function, metabolism, even healthy weight management. Tons of
energy I get from it. It is awesome. Most of
all the confidants are knowing if I slip and maybe
don't have my fruits and vegetables that day, Field of

(49:19):
Greens is there for me. Right now, I want to

Just use Codebenson at Fieldegreens dot com. That's Codebenson at
Fieldegreens dot com. It's twenty percent off your first order.
Get your fruits, get your vegetables with Field of Greens
twenty percent off. Now use Codebenson at Fieldegreens dot com.
It is the Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 1 (49:51):
Chad Benson.

Speaker 11 (49:52):
These talks the first in person discussion between Russia and
the US since the war started. Notably absent from these
discussions US allies in Europe and more importantly Ukraine. Rubio,
accompanied by National Security Advisor Mike Waltz and Special Envoy
Steve Whitkoff. As well as discussing Ukraine, they'll triantulated the

(50:12):
groundwork for a future meeting between President Trump and Vladimir Putin.

Speaker 2 (50:17):
Oh that's right, man, the Bood and Trump, because they're
best for you know, the lovers.

Speaker 7 (50:23):
That's what I've been told all the time. What do
you think is going to happen?

Speaker 2 (50:26):
I think this is the start of negotiations. That's the
way it works. It's the start of something here. And
he's the aggressor. He's the one with more power. He
is the one that is going to demand certain things.
Zelensky is whether he wants to believe or not, he's
between a rock and a hard place at this point.

Speaker 11 (50:45):
Ukrainian President Zelenski visiting Saudi Arabia Wednesday, but he's not
invited to the meeting between the US and Russia, saying
he wouldn't recognize any agreements made without Ukraine and warning
Trump in a phone call last week that Putin come
be trusted.

Speaker 2 (51:01):
Well, I think he knows that. So, but maybe there's
more to it than just this, because everybody thinks so
there he goes he's gonna give everything.

Speaker 7 (51:09):
Away well, let's hold on a second.

Speaker 2 (51:11):
First of all, maybe there could be steps to get
to the place that people want to go when it
comes to peace.

Speaker 34 (51:17):
Could be a phased approach where the US wants to
meet with Russia first, and then we'll bring in Ukraine
and hopefully our European allies, because it's going to take
all of those groups to come to a decision. Obviously,
Ukraine has to be part of it. They're one of
two parties to the conflict.

Speaker 2 (51:34):
Of course they're going to have to be a part
of But what you want at this point in time
no longer matters. It's what you're gonna get. And that
goes the same thing for the Pewter. Both of you
are kind of screwed. You've put yourself in this position, Pooter,
and you've done everything you possibly can Sealinski, but you're
not gonna get all the things you dream of, which

(51:55):
is taking back everything from twenty twelve and after, and
it's gonna happen.

Speaker 34 (52:00):
They're concerned about NATO and the future of NATO. They're
talking today about the need to significantly increase European military
capacity and that should have been done a while ago,
and it's good as it is happening. It's not good
for Russia, it's good for NATO. But I think this
has to do with the recent comments out of the
Trump administration about Europe and the future of NATO.

Speaker 2 (52:22):
Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four to twenty
three At Chad Benson show's your Twitter tweet that has
TEXTA program might doing the Chad Benson Show. You always
people like, why does the reasts of the world have
socialized medicine? And we don't simple because their asses aren't
asked to pay for anything. See what happens when you
have to increase your budget when it comes to the military,

(52:43):
and all of a sudden, some of that other stuff
out there isn't as cheap and inexpensive as you thought
it was. Meanwhile, we're having problem with eggs.

Speaker 15 (52:52):
Langer's Deli has been an institution here in La since
nineteen forty seven, and now with the growing burden of
big prices, Langers Deli says it has no choice but
to add a fifty cent per egg surcharge onto all orders.
Add another famous La Deali canters they've seen their bill
for eggs go from paying five thousand dollars a month
to now twenty three thousand dollars a month for eggs.

Speaker 35 (53:12):
Yeah, for pretty much the same product for them, the
same amount of eggs.

Speaker 15 (53:15):
Other restaurants like waffle House are also now adding eggs
seercharges to bills.

Speaker 2 (53:20):
Eggs. Damn. So from five thousand dollars a month and
you're ordering the same amount, it's now twenty three thousand
dollars a month.

Speaker 36 (53:30):
The price of eggs up fifty three percent in just
the past year. The average is now four to ninety
five for a dozen eggs, but some people are paying
much more than that. We also know Easter is just
a few weeks away, so demand's going to rise there,
and they're expecting egg prices to rise another twenty percent
by the end of this year.

Speaker 2 (53:49):
Sweet mother of goodness, I think this year the Easter
Bunny should maybe bring the plastic eggs, some chocolates, things
of that nature.

Speaker 7 (53:56):
I'm just putting it out there.

Speaker 2 (53:57):
Maybe the old style eggs because it's it's hard boiling.
This Does a kid really want hard boil legs? It's
a hard boil legg kid three two three, twenty four,
twenty three. At Chad Benson Show is your Twitter, you
can tweet at US Text program.

Speaker 12 (54:09):
I love hearing from all of you.

Speaker 5 (54:10):
A lot of stuff still.

Speaker 2 (54:11):
To get to, including arguablieve the greatest, Dumbest Nature will
mess you up segment Ever, it's a Chad Benson Joe.

Speaker 9 (54:21):
Chad Benson Joe.

Speaker 1 (54:42):
The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 35 (54:45):
I don't even know what to say, like we in trouble,
like this is.

Speaker 37 (54:49):
Bad, Like it's just you know, like I usually have
something to say, I don't even know what to say.
We're talking about RFK Junior, who's like he definitely isn't
anti vaxxer, being responsible for a one point seven trillion
dollar agency, and one of the things that I'm most
concerned about are those that are most vulnerable in our country,

(55:12):
children and the elderly.

Speaker 2 (55:13):
Right, how do you think RFK is going to handle birds?

Speaker 14 (55:15):
Will?

Speaker 7 (55:16):
Is this run over the chickens?

Speaker 2 (55:17):
And yeah, I mean why what is he going to
do it? Oh? My god, only there was a vaccination
for you guys, but a last you get many of
us joy because you're insane.

Speaker 7 (55:27):
That right there.

Speaker 2 (55:28):
Of course, the view talking about RFK chaid, there's a
giant uptick in measles in Texas.

Speaker 35 (55:34):
EXAs is seeing its worst measles outbreak in nearly thirty years.
State health officials confirming close to fifty cases.

Speaker 2 (55:41):
There.

Speaker 35 (55:41):
Over a dozen patients have been hospitalized, the majority of
them are miners. Now, according to the Texas Department of
Health Services, all patients are either unvaccinated. Texas Department of
State Health Services says the cases are confined to a
rural Mennonite community in West Texas, but they're the numbers
are premature. What does this all mean regarding possible spread?

Speaker 7 (56:04):
You think now, I know what you're thinking.

Speaker 2 (56:06):
You're saying to yourself, Well, it's the Mennonites, right, they
don't get vaccinated. Actually, modern Mennonites will. Now it's still
nowhere near where we are, Which is that herd immunity
what we're trying to go for, right to get so
many people vaccinated that even if something does happen, nothing
is going to happen. Somebody has the measles, the momps, rebella,
whatever it is, that it's not going to spread because

(56:29):
there's so many people that are vaccinated that this just
doesn't affect anybody. And look, I am not a plague enthusiast.
I'm not for those who keep you score. I'm not
a fan of the plague and or anything that goes
with it, i e. Polio, rebella, measles, mumps, whatever that's

(56:53):
out there. But I look and I think to myself,
you wonder why people aren't vaccinated. This goes back to
your failure through COVID and the insanity of which that
you pushed crazy things like if you get the shot,
you can't get it or give it. You force it

(57:18):
down people's throats without having the opportunity to have a
conversation about it. You made kids go and get it,
even though you knew that kids weren't even remotely in
a position where they were in danger. According to the

(57:38):
entire world.

Speaker 24 (57:41):
Oh yeah, well, Marquie, this is a very contagious virus. Measles,
we think is the most contagious virus. So clearly it
could continue to spread in this Mennonite community.

Speaker 14 (57:53):
And because people.

Speaker 24 (57:54):
Travel and see friends in other parts of the country,
and those people visit those folks in Texas, we could
see this spread to other under vaccinated communities in other states.
Every single one of these cases and all the hospitalizations
could have been completely prevented. I would ask people across

(58:19):
the United States. If your children haven't been vaccinated against
measles today, take them to your pediatrician or family doctor
and get them vaccinated.

Speaker 7 (58:29):
Like I said, I'm a big proponent of being vaccinated.

Speaker 2 (58:32):
I think we should. I think we've got the tools
in front of us. I think for a lot of people,
the question is why do they need so many when
we were younger. Well, they've come up with a lot
of new stuff that they can vaccinate against that we
didn't have.

Speaker 7 (58:45):
I'm from you know, I'm a seventy scan.

Speaker 2 (58:47):
There's more. Nineteen seventy there was a lot of stuff
that they would love to have had a vaccination for
that they didn't. Now they do great, fantastic, But it
doesn't mean you shouldn't be able to ask questions or
maybe delay the amount of which the kids get them.
And we go back to, you know, when when I
was young, We'll go back to.

Speaker 7 (59:07):
The nineteen seventies.

Speaker 2 (59:10):
So go back to nineteen seventies and nine nine doses
today fifty four to sixty plus. It's okay to have questions,
it is, but it's also okay to refer to your doctor,
to talk to your doctor, and if you trust your doctor,

(59:30):
you go with that. I mean, it's it's it's not insane,
but you shouldn't be demonized if you want to ask
a question. And I don't know what the Mennonites out
there in Texas are doing, have no idea. Most of
the Mennonites I've known pretty cool, right, They live in
a modern society, and I like the Amish were like,
you know, eighteen seventy two is about all the stuff

(59:53):
they needed as far as you know, the modern decoutrement.
And they, by the way, the Amish will get not
in the same amount that we do, but yes they will.
There is nothing in their religion that says they won't
get vaccinated. I'm just saying we can ask questions, and
somewhere along the line asking questions about stuff has been

(01:00:15):
demonized as you're anti this or anti that.

Speaker 24 (01:00:18):
Always talk to your child's doctor, the pediatrician or family doctor.
And remember these vaccination regimens are recommended by the American
Academy of Pediatrics and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
They wouldn't recommend anything that is not in your child's

(01:00:39):
best interest. But talk to the doctor that's taken care
of your child.

Speaker 2 (01:00:45):
And I think it's a fair thing to have a
conversation with the doctor and they're like, we want to
give a kid at four hundred and fifty eight shots today,
you know what, let's just hold off on that. Let's
have questions and answer time, and and you know, just
for me, but mostly just for my child. It's different.
I'm that's my child. I'm responsible for that child. I
want to make sure that everything goes okay. And people

(01:01:06):
are nervous and the medical establishment, in particular the CDC,
the FDA, et cetera, et cetera, has failed America and
it happened with COVID big time, and because of that,
people have a lot of questions.

Speaker 7 (01:01:21):
And it's not just COVID.

Speaker 2 (01:01:23):
You can go back and look all the way up
to the likes of the Sackler family with and how
they pushed out oxycotton to everybody.

Speaker 7 (01:01:33):
And the doctors are prescribing the left, right, and center.

Speaker 2 (01:01:35):
So there's a lot of things that people have questions
when it comes to what goes on medical wise. It's
okay to have those questions, but be honest with yourself
about some of the stuff. Because yesterday I talking a
few people about this and they're like, well, you know
that's got this in it and that in it. Your
kid's gonna get this and that, And you're like, oh, okay, right,
you're not going to become magnetic, because if that's true,

(01:01:58):
we'd all be trying.

Speaker 7 (01:01:58):
To become MAGNETO.

Speaker 2 (01:02:00):
Oh, that would be fun, it would right, three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four to twenty three at chat, Benson
shows your Twitter tweitt nis text the program.

Speaker 3 (01:02:08):
The Department of Government Efficiency has updated its website, claiming
it's now saved taxpayers fifty five billion dollars since the
group was formed last month. Its stated goal is to
reach one trillion in cuts. The website ranks the top
ten agencies where savings were found. USAID, the Department of Education,
and the Office of Personnel Management top the list.

Speaker 2 (01:02:30):
I don't know how true those are. I mean, that's
the that's what they've put out there, the DOGE. And remember,
so much of this is going to end up in court,
So much of this is going to end up eventually
at the Supreme Court. How much of this actually ends
up going through Those are all very real questions before

(01:02:50):
everybody freaks out about this, because there's plenty of you
that do Don't get me wrong. Protests were strong yesterday
doing all your day off, I'm going to go protest
the Doge.

Speaker 7 (01:03:03):
It's not my President's day.

Speaker 3 (01:03:05):
Protests across the country yesterday called for the disbandment of Doge.

Speaker 4 (01:03:09):
Elon mus doesn't even know my job exists, right, but
like we do a lot. I mean, I'm a public
servant and I do this job because I love it.

Speaker 5 (01:03:16):
So yeah, I'm.

Speaker 4 (01:03:17):
Devastated and my whole community lost their jobs and I
don't know what I'm gonna do.

Speaker 2 (01:03:21):
Now, settle down. I'm a civil servant. I do this
for you. I know.

Speaker 7 (01:03:25):
I don't even get paid. So you do it for free?
No oh, you do it for more than.

Speaker 2 (01:03:31):
What somebody would make in the private sector with great benefits. Crazy.
We'll talk a little bit more about this next hour
three two, three, five, three, eight, twenty four to twenty
three at ch ed Menton show.

Speaker 7 (01:03:41):
Is your Twitter tweet? Honis taxi program spreaking of the Doge?

Chad b e n S O N. Maybe the dumbest,
most hilarious nature will mess you up straight ahead, Chad Benson.

Speaker 1 (01:05:10):
Deep stinks no deep doo doo.

Speaker 7 (01:05:14):
Yeah, the chat fans and show kids.

Speaker 2 (01:05:17):
I like nature mostly from a couch, favorite place to
be when there's nature around, and we talk about nature
a lot because it's fun. Nature does fun stuff. Nature
can be cruel, as we already know. And sometimes nature
weird less you because it will not all nature is

(01:05:47):
evil and bad. Sometimes it's confused. In loss case in
Point Connecticut. That's right.

Speaker 7 (01:05:52):
Kids driving down the street, Lo and behold what's in
front of you?

Speaker 2 (01:05:55):
Is a dog?

Speaker 6 (01:05:56):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:05:56):
Is it a kid on a bike? No?

Speaker 7 (01:05:57):
No, it's a seal wandering down the street.

Speaker 38 (01:06:00):
An unusual site as New Haven police officers receive reports
of a seal on city streets in the faird Haven neighborhood.

Speaker 39 (01:06:08):
Well they thought it was kind of a prank at first.
They didn't really didn't we believe it.

Speaker 38 (01:06:14):
On Saturday, the gray seal was spotted by Morrise Cove
and volunteers from Mystic Aquarium moved him to a private beach,
hoping he'd find his way out.

Speaker 2 (01:06:23):
Oh you are so pressious.

Speaker 5 (01:06:26):
Then on Sunday.

Speaker 38 (01:06:27):
He was found in the area of Chapel and East Streets,
a bit of a trek from the water.

Speaker 39 (01:06:31):
So he sat with one of our bosses, who's been
here for like twenty five years, and I asked him,
you know, if you'd ever heard of this before. So,
you know, we've gotten bears, turkeys, foxes, coyotes, but this
is the I think this is the first seal that
anyone working here has heard of. So we figured he
was here for the clam pizza, but we're not sure.

Speaker 2 (01:06:50):
No, he wasn't. He wasn't there for the clam pizza
at all. Though. Imagine getting the call.

Speaker 39 (01:06:53):
I'm sure they thought it was a joke, but it
was not. It was a seal in the street.

Speaker 2 (01:06:58):
By the way, don't touch a seal. We'll get to
think you're not supposed touch in a little bit, but
there it was. And of course they call it. The people,
Hey we got a seal. You're like, what, where as
walking around the neighborhood? No way? Really?

Speaker 7 (01:07:13):
Yeah, and they show up.

Speaker 40 (01:07:14):
We're like, well, he's still bright and alert and looking good,
but maybe we can just relocate him to a safe beach.
And so our team did do that. But then unfortunately
the next day he showed up right back in the
middle of the city.

Speaker 2 (01:07:25):
There no, my lord. Now, there's been things like this
globally where seals, including an elephant seal in Australia, who
if you have never seen you want to talk about nature.
Neil the seal is his name, and he roams around
little town in Tasmania and destroys everything in his path

(01:07:46):
because he's so massive.

Speaker 7 (01:07:50):
And by the way, what I mean massive.

Speaker 2 (01:07:53):
Neil is about fourteen hundred pounds and he smashes cars,
He will fall sleep in front of people's homes, and
he's become quite the popular thing.

Speaker 7 (01:08:05):
This is not the same thing.

Speaker 2 (01:08:07):
This is just the lost little pop terrified because you
know it's it's just away from mom for the first time.

Speaker 38 (01:08:15):
So again a crew from Mystic was called in.

Speaker 40 (01:08:17):
Definitely at that point he's in danger of being hurt,
being run over by a car even and so that's
when we knew that we had to take him in.

Speaker 38 (01:08:24):
They brought him back to the quarium to he checked
out and to help him gain some weight, since he's
thin and roughly twenty eight pounds. We're told he's probably
about six weeks sold recently winged off his mother and
might have gotten a little lost.

Speaker 40 (01:08:38):
Oh, he is on his own now, and he's just
trying to figure it out. But he is a young animal,
and so sometimes those first few weeks without mom can
be a little tough on these guys.

Speaker 38 (01:08:46):
Now, staff here say it's pretty rare for a seal
to go that far off of a beach and into
the city. They also remind everybody at home there is
a hot line to call if you see marine animals
or see turtles that might need some help.

Speaker 2 (01:09:00):
Don't touch stuff, which brings us to this part of
nature messing you up.

Speaker 7 (01:09:05):
This is arguably and we have seen some dumb things.

Speaker 2 (01:09:08):
Let's go. We've seen people who tried to pet, you know,
the bison. It's my favorite elk. Anybody who tries to
pat anything is fantastic because when bad things happen to you,
it's hilarious to us. And you're thinking, Chad, that's not
very nice. Well again, nature will mess you up. Listen
to the program. This one, though, is on a level
second to none.

Speaker 41 (01:09:27):
In a shocking incident that has left many in disbelief,
a Canadian tourist, identified locally as fifty five year old
Natalie Ross lost both her hands in a brutal shark
attack while vacationing in the Turks and caicusilence at Thompson's
Cove Beach, a popular spot for tourists seeking sun and surf.
Eyewitnesses report that Ms Ross was attempting to engage with

(01:09:48):
the shark for a photograph when the unthinkable happened.

Speaker 2 (01:09:53):
I want you guys to listen again to what I'm
about to tell you. There is a six seven foot
looks like bulls shark. She thinks to self self. This
animal knows I'm a good person. This animal knows that
I believe climate change is caused by man. This animal
knows that I'm a vegan or whatever. So the best

(01:10:17):
thing I can do for my insta is to partner
with this animal and get a picture with this animal.
A shark. Mind, everybody, what a bull shark is the
most aggressive animal on the planet, more testosterone than a
male rhino or a bull elephant.

Speaker 7 (01:10:37):
So have at it, ma'am.

Speaker 41 (01:10:39):
Local authorities stated that her husband bravely tried to fight
off the six foot predator as it attacked, but the
damage had already been done. Distressing images from the scene
show miss Ross lying on the beach, surrounded by her
family and other beach goers who were desperately trying to
stop the bleeding from her catastrophic injuries. Reports indicate that
she lost both hands and suffer a severe bite to

(01:11:02):
her thigh. After the attack, she was airlifted to a
nearby hospital and is expected to survive despite her life
altering injuries.

Speaker 2 (01:11:11):
You're a dumbass. You're a dumbass. I'm sorry, you are
a dumbass. What are you doing? Just out of curiosity?
What are you doing? Nobody feels sorry for you. You
should never have tried to take a picture and get
a selfie with a shark.

Speaker 7 (01:11:26):
I never feel sorry when, Like, if you're.

Speaker 2 (01:11:29):
In the ocean and you're swimming and you know there
is a chance that things may happen.

Speaker 7 (01:11:34):
We recognize that, hence the reason why we have nature
mess you up.

Speaker 2 (01:11:37):
But if you're going to participate in nature in that
way and your hands come off because nature decide they
want your hands, that's a u problem. I think we
can all agree on that. It's not very nice yet, No,
it's honesty. Don't pet stuff that doesn't want to be petted,

(01:11:57):
and or don't pet or get near any thing that
is truly in nature.

Speaker 7 (01:12:03):
This isn't a petting zoom man ooh, A couple of
hooks for her? Why she had other than that? How
is turks and caicos?

Speaker 2 (01:12:12):
Oh?

Speaker 14 (01:12:13):
Geez?

Speaker 2 (01:12:13):
Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four to twenty
three at Chad Benson Show. Is your Twitter?

Speaker 7 (01:12:17):

Speaker 2 (01:12:23):

Speaker 3 (01:12:25):
More of the DOGE protests across the country yesterday called
for the disbandment of DOGE.

Speaker 4 (01:12:32):
Elon must doesn't even know my job exists, right, but
like we do a lot. I mean, I'm a public
servant and I do this job because I love it.
So yeah, I'm devastated and my whole community lost their
jobs and I don't know what I'm gonna do now.

Speaker 2 (01:12:44):
I don't know what you're gonna do either. Hey, do
you remember that time a bunch of people at your
work got laid off and there was all this hubbub?
No me either, I think anybody rememerves that time. We'll
talk a little bit more about that. Obviously. It took
place yesterday in Canada with the plane crash, a bunch
of other things, if you're listening to this show, we
always say shame money.

Speaker 7 (01:13:02):
You can have the podcast. This is the Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 1 (01:13:06):
This is the Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (01:13:36):
All right, the Doge should play some of the music
from the Doge. You know, the Doge is always under
fire because it's the Doge. We got to cut the
Doge because take away jobs, cut dose, becuse me, cut
those cut dose, cut dose. Yesterday was not my American
president or any president for that matter. So it's a

(01:13:57):
big protest out there. Jo's get out there. Protests, just protests.
We hate the dogs, we hate everything.

Speaker 7 (01:14:03):
Where's Congress and all of this hit it?

Speaker 35 (01:14:05):
Where is Congress? Where is Congress?

Speaker 1 (01:14:11):
Where is Congress?

Speaker 6 (01:14:14):
Where is Congress?

Speaker 2 (01:14:17):
Nowhere? Because Congress decided a long time ago that they
were going to give up as much power as possible,
so they have no responsibilities or accountability towards anything. So
that's why there are so many agencies that they're like,
we defer to the agency.

Speaker 7 (01:14:30):
So there's that, But Congress save us.

Speaker 14 (01:14:38):
Now.

Speaker 2 (01:14:38):
It wouldn't be a Doge party without an Elon hateful song,
you don't be great. If he was a Mexican we
can't get rid of him. That's mean I want you

(01:14:58):
to do the same thing. That's not fair. I'm just look, look, look,
it's being honest here. Okay, if he was if he
came from Juadalajara, you wouldn't be chanting that. Hey hey,
ho ho, one's got to go oh oh wait no no, no, no, no, no, friend, no,

(01:15:23):
so ridiculous. Hey hey, hey, hey, selon because he's a
white guy. Actually he's an African American. No, chat, he's not. Well,
he's from Africa, South Africa. He has got citizenship from there,

(01:15:44):
from Canada and from America. Whooh my god, he's a
tri cisen. He's an Africa, Canadian American. That is a
lot of stuff all rolled into one. Oh my god,
he's the worst, is he?

Speaker 5 (01:16:05):
Is he?

Speaker 7 (01:16:06):
Because you say that? But is he really? Some people
think so.

Speaker 8 (01:16:11):
He has brought about criminals, losers, liars, and cheats to
dismantle and frankly insult our great governments. But despite all
of that, I have a great hope because here the
American people are speaking out against his will, because that's
all this is. It's his personal will, and we're not

(01:16:31):
gonna submit to one man's will.

Speaker 7 (01:16:33):
Because that's not how democracy works.

Speaker 2 (01:16:35):
That's not how America works.

Speaker 8 (01:16:38):
We work on the principles that liberty is given to
each of us. And in the famous words of Patrick Henry,
give me liberty or.

Speaker 2 (01:16:49):
He was one of his his beats headphones should be worring.
Raycons I'd have been on your team, I said last
night and did a video about that. I said, he
was he looks like McLevin from the movie You know
super Bad is if you bought him.

Speaker 7 (01:17:05):
Off TIMU or wish oh.

Speaker 2 (01:17:10):
Remember, you can hit us up all forms social media atcheb, insta, show, Twitter,
Instagram and all the other things. Person just hit me
up on the Insta and the Graham says, how naive
do you have to be to think that a billionaire
wouldn't want to get richer? Come on, man, you've been
around a while. Do you really believe that crap? Yeah?

(01:17:30):
I do, actually, because at some point in time money
doesn't matter. If you think he only operates from the
place of money, you're fooling yourself. You are you are
fooling yourself if you think the only way he operates
is I want to make money. I want to make money.

Speaker 7 (01:17:49):
I want to make money. That's not true.

Speaker 2 (01:17:54):
When you get to a certain level in life, success
is gauged on many other things see athletes. For God's sakes,
we call Tom Brady the goat? Why because he has
how many Super Bowls? Seven of them? He wasn't even
close to being the highest paid quarterback ever and he's
the greatest quarterback ever. Why is that?

Speaker 7 (01:18:16):
Because he's willing to sacrifice because.

Speaker 2 (01:18:18):
He had enough money. What he wanted was championships. People
do that all the time. You get to a certain level.
Money is not the main factor. People who don't have
money think it's the main factor. He does this because
he sees a problem and he wants to fix it.

(01:18:40):
He loves this country and he wants to fix the
issue right here, and he thinks he can. And while
everybody freaks out and they're, oh my god, the world's
coming to an end, then I don't know what's gonna happen.

Speaker 23 (01:18:53):
Neither do you.

Speaker 2 (01:18:55):
And the problem is you've run around like a chicken
with your head cut off that's also been lit on fire,
screaming and yelling that the world is coming to an end,
that the sky is falling, that the wolf.

Speaker 7 (01:19:11):
Is around the corner, etc.

Speaker 2 (01:19:13):
Etc.

Speaker 7 (01:19:13):
And none of that stuff comes to fruition.

Speaker 2 (01:19:17):
So the problem with all of this is, I don't
know what's gonna come out of it, because it's gonna
go through a court system. It's going to be locked
up for months at a time in certain cases. So
him eliminating stuff today, Oh well, I don't have a
job or I got fired, doesn't mean that you're not

(01:19:38):
coming back in the next week or so. We don't
know what it looks like. I will tell you this
guy by the name of Bill Clinton. You guys ever
heard of him? Oh, man, I've heard of that guy.
He's pretty cool. William Clinton. He along with a guy
named al Gore, who not only started the Internet but

(01:20:00):
has saved us from climate change, set up something in
the time that he was el presidente. And it was
very interesting what they set up. So this was part
of a federal This is nineteen ninety three National Performance Review.

(01:20:21):
Al Gore, I'll gonna let you lead this. Tell your
wife to stop messing with all the music, which was
aimed to make the government more anyone, anyone If he shan't.
Three hundred and eighty thousand jobs were reduced. The reduction
mainly effected Department of Defense after the Cold War, many
of the positions eliminated were through attrition and early retirement

(01:20:44):
rather than mass firing, as though Clinton did fire a bunch.

Speaker 7 (01:20:49):
And the Republicans you were part of this as well.
It's part of that budget balancing effort.

Speaker 2 (01:20:55):
By the end of Clinton's presidency in two thousand and one,
the federal workforce was smaller then it had been since.

Speaker 7 (01:21:01):
The nineteen sixt age.

Speaker 2 (01:21:04):
So it can be done. And guess what a lot
of that stuff these people are working on in today's
world is the same stuff they're working on in nineteen
ninety three.

Speaker 7 (01:21:18):
That's how antiquated a lot of this stuff is.

Speaker 2 (01:21:22):
So can they cut a lot? Yeah? Are they gonna
cut everything now? Or all these people gonna go and
and be, you know, giving back their jobs. And now
that's not gonna happen either. Some of it will stick,
some of it won't. But the whole the world's coming
to an end because of Elon Musk or Donald Trump.

Speaker 7 (01:21:44):
You need to settle down, sir.

Speaker 2 (01:21:48):
In his first term is incompetence.

Speaker 10 (01:21:51):
Hath four hundred thousand American lives. It is and it's
appropriate that the only person in history to be responsible
for more American debts than Donald Trump is his idol,
Adolf Hitler.

Speaker 2 (01:22:10):
Uh my gosh, so he killed the most huh because
of COVID? Like was that like he do that purpose?
Or was no?

Speaker 7 (01:22:21):
No, no, no, he didn't get dumb ass.

Speaker 2 (01:22:23):
And by the way, more people died under Biden with
COVID and Biden had what anyone anyone the vaccine. Trump
did not remember when Biden said he was going to
he would resign if more people died under his watch,
that many people died. He didn't.

Speaker 7 (01:22:44):
But you went and invoked Hitler, which is just the
most ass.

Speaker 2 (01:22:48):
It's so easy and the only people that just take
that in or people will go, oh yeah, he is
Adolf Hitler.

Speaker 7 (01:22:56):
He's not Adolf Hitler.

Speaker 2 (01:22:58):
Stop with that. BS for God says you dumbasses, doesn't
get you anywhere, and the rest of the world goes, eh,
you got nothing, You've got nothing. It's a constitutional crisis.
That's my other favorite one. It's a constitutional This is
a constitutional cries Jeah, this is a it's a constitual crises,
constitual crisis. Const It's never been some crisis. He than

(01:23:20):
this is that true? No?

Speaker 42 (01:23:22):
No, you know, I've always been critical of these claims
of a constitutional crisis. We have the oldest, most stable
constitutional system in the history of the world. It borders
on defamation. This is a constitution that was designed the
last by James Madison, and it has done so. It
has gone through periods that would reduce other countries to
a fine pumis, and it has survived. We're not in

(01:23:45):
a constitutional crisis. Has the Trump administration taken steps I
disagree with, sure, and I've criticized them when that has happened.
But this is a president who, in my view, is
acting well within his article to authority.

Speaker 2 (01:23:58):
Oh my god, do you think he's stuff? Yeah, I'm
not thrilled by everything he's done, and I've criticized him.
I'll do it again. But here's the thing. Whether I
think he's done something wrong or hasn't at this point
in time doesn't matter. They're doing what they think is right.
They're doing their thing, and eventually the courts are going

(01:24:20):
to have their say and we'll go from there. Freaking
out about it and losing your mind is not going
to fix the problem.

Speaker 7 (01:24:26):
So why do it? Go have your voice heard.

Speaker 2 (01:24:29):
That's fine. Stop calling everybody hitler, because that's just it
makes you look weak. It does, and we'll go from there. Well,
when I hear people say, well, America is gonna be O,
it's not gonna be over. America is not going to
be brought down by Elon Musk and Donald Trump trying
to cut waste and insanity from the government. What you
should worry about, which is what nobody will talk about,

(01:24:52):
is the fact that we are almost broke. The service
to the debt we have is getting to the point
where it's going to pass our military spending and on
its way to Medicare and Social Security like numbers, and
nobody's going to say anything about that because of fear.
So we'll just hope that whoever's in charge in the
next several years is ready to deal with that. Three two, three, five,

That's the AI on Twitter, Slash Acts. Oh yes, Ryan
Laundry's parents. There's a new sort of documentary something out
on Netflix about him killing Gabby Potito. This is horrible. Uh,

(01:27:47):
it's just it's horrible. I mean it is And we
apparently really really like Murder as Entertainment. Murder SNL fiftieth
anniversary still trend.

Speaker 7 (01:28:01):
Eryl Musk that's Elon's Pops trending as well.

Speaker 2 (01:28:06):
Head over to the magical world of Yahoo number trending, Thing,
cost A Living Adjustment, Delta plane crash, Meryl Streep, Gaza
Ukraine all trending right now, yeah, as well as Sweden, USA,
Talky Kids, And finally over to the magical world of

Right here on the Chad Beinson Show. Daytona five hundred.

Speaker 2 (01:29:14):
Let's talk about that yesterday Daytona five hundred. Though it
was kind of funny you win your second Daytona five hundred,
But all anybody's talking about is the fact that Donald.

Speaker 7 (01:29:23):
Trump did a lap in the beast.

Speaker 2 (01:29:27):
It's like, those are the things that are trending. Yes.
The thing about the Canadian air crash slash Delta Air
crash is the hell hap? I mean, everything seemed to
be okay. How did you guys end up upside down?
Did you hit something? Was it the ice? We're not
going to know everything overnight, but it's just weird, right.

Speaker 19 (01:29:50):
It is simply too early to tell what may have
caused this. It'll likely be a number of factors. It
could be a maintenance issue. It could be a weather issue.
You know, there was wins over forty miles per hour,
there was snow, there was ice, that is a possibility.
And there were also dozens, if not hundreds of flights
canceled or delayed into Toronto's Pearson Airport just yesterday, so
they will look at all of that.

Speaker 2 (01:30:11):
But you got to the ground. There was no mayday call,
so there didn't seem to be anything untowared on the
way in, and then you ended up upside down.

Speaker 7 (01:30:19):
Now nobody died, thank God for that.

Speaker 2 (01:30:21):
Everybody survived, and you know, it just shows you how
absolutely brilliant these planes are all things considered when we
think how fragile they are. But how did you end
up upside down? Was it the wind shear? Was it
the did you hit something? Jita moose? I don't know.
It's Canada, Jita moose. The moose will be over. I
have no idea. And the fact that the wings sheared

(01:30:43):
off was huge because there is that's where all the
fuel is, so the wing's gone.

Speaker 7 (01:30:47):
The chances of that thing igniting was slim to none.

Speaker 2 (01:30:50):
Crazy three, two, three, five, three, eight, twenty four or
twenty three ah Chad Benson Show with your Twitter tweet

Speaker 7 (01:31:48):

Speaker 2 (01:31:50):
Somebody left the message for us now when you text
the line three two three five three eight Chad three
two three five three eight twenty four, twenty three, it's
also a comment line, so you can leave your voicemail
if you want to. And if you're going to cuss
at me a lot, just try not to so I
have to do too many beeps. This guy obviously not

(01:32:11):
that person wants to talk about solid security. As we've
touched on on numerous occasions.

Speaker 17 (01:32:17):
My message is about the balancing of the budget when
it comes to cutting social security and medicare. Those aren't
part of the budget. They never were meant to be
part of the budget. The parts of the budget is
to pay back the money they borrowed from Social Security
and Medicare. It was supposed to be a one time deal,

(01:32:39):
I believe back in nineteen eighty three to borrow money
from it. I've been doing it for forty two years. Ever,
so to say they should cut paying it back is ridiculous.
If you borrowed twenty five thousand dollars from your neighbor,
you wouldn't not pay them back. You would cut things
from your budget such as cell phone or streaming services

(01:33:02):
or eating out and eat eat talk from and it
paid them back. The government borrowed that from your neighbor,
so they owe it back to them. There is no
reason to cut those programs because that's not part of
the budget.

Speaker 2 (01:33:16):
It's not about cutting those programs. I appreciate your message.
It's not about cutting any of those programs. It's about
coming to the realization that there's going to be no
money for it. So you're not actively going we're going
to cut this. What you're saying is, hey, there's no
more money. This will last as long as it lasts.
If that makes sense, and then once it can't, it

(01:33:38):
won't and if they don't do something about it. And
I think this is the thing where we have to
come to a realization that it's going to take a
strong person who will be honest with America and say
we've got to fix this. And you may hate me,
you may hate the message, but in reality, the younger generation,
we have borrowed so much again all of this stuff,

(01:34:02):
not just Medicare and you know, and and Social Security,
but so many other things where there was any kind
of money to push out programs, and we have to
tighten our belts and a younger generation is gonna have
to come to the realization that they're probably going to
retire later and that maybe there's going to be a

(01:34:23):
new way that we come at social Security and Medicare.
And does that mean it's privatized, it's it's a private
public project. I'm not quite sure. See, the government doesn't
want to give up all that money pouring in because
it needs it for its callers to pay out a
bunch of other stuff. But we cannot afford to do
this anymore. And this is not about whether or not

(01:34:47):
you know, that's your money, and stuff because yeah, you've
paid into it. I've paid into it. We've all paid
into it. Here's the thing. I'm under no illusion that
you know I'm gonna see any of that money, because
there ain't gonna be any So I've come to the
realization that I better figure something else out. It's a
Ponzi ski. Those in early you do well. Those in

(01:35:08):
early to medium you do okay. Those in late it
may tumble on you. So we have to be real
about this. And most people they don't want to hear
it because they think it's coming out today. No it's not.
But I will tell you this. We've got till twenty
and thirty one for sold security, right, and then thirty

(01:35:30):
three for medicare or vice versa, and automatically you're down
twenty percent. So if you were making you get a thousand,
let's just make it. You get in a thousand, you're
gonna get eight hundred. If you get in two thousand,
you get sixteen hundred. And that's if it stays on
its current course. But nobody will ever approach it from

(01:35:55):
We may have to raise some taxes in some areas.
We may have to extend people's retirement age and a
lot of people don't want to hear that. No, I
want to that may have to happen. Nobody wants to
have that conversation because the minute you bring up Medicare

(01:36:15):
or social Security, everybody loses their mind. Well, I pay
into everybody pays into it for the most part, and
you take out more than you put in. You do
realize that, right, Most people don't realize that you take
out more than you put in. So that being said,
what are we gonna do Because while we're talking about
all of this stuff, we're also not addressing the other issue, and.

Speaker 6 (01:36:38):
That is.

Speaker 7 (01:36:40):
A population that's not growing.

Speaker 2 (01:36:42):
Without immigration, our populations, we can't have that because we're
gonna have the graciunami of retirement. So you're gonna have
all these people retire, nobody can replace them. In the workforce,
We're gonna get a younger generation doesn't seem to want
to work. And when all of that stuff is happening now,
instead of having six eight people to support one person

(01:37:05):
who's retired, we're gonna be down to two or three.
You need in theory about a ten to twelve to
one to do it. So that's another issue coming and
people don't want to address that outside of Elon Musk having,
you know, babies with all kinds of people. Yes, I
saw that over the weekends. She's pretty hot too, Let's
be reals.

Speaker 12 (01:37:24):
Be real.

Speaker 2 (01:37:25):
She's got a forty thousand dollars a month apartment. That's
kind of neat. But she feels like she's captured. I'm
not quite sure about that. Speaking of captured ladies and gentlemen,
Luigi Mangioni is speaking to his fans, which is just insane.
This is the guy who killed the CEO of United
Healthcare this morning.

Speaker 43 (01:37:46):
Accused killer Luigi Mangioni speaking out from inside a jail
cell for the first time, get a message to his
supporters on a new website. Mangioni, in his own words, writing,
I am overwhelmed by and grateful for everyone who has
written me to share their stories and express their support.
While it is impossible for me to apply to most letters,
please know that I read every one that I receive.

(01:38:08):
His defense team launching the website on behalf of their
client to provide accurate information about his cases and dispel misinformation.

Speaker 2 (01:38:17):
Really or do you think maybe money? I don't think
his FAM's going to pay for this. We better figure
out how to get some money.

Speaker 5 (01:38:25):
It's uncommon to hear from a defendant behind bars like
this because most defendants don't generate this level of public interest.

Speaker 43 (01:38:32):
Mangioni now bolstering his council ahead of his court appearance
later this week while awaiting trial at a federal jail
in New York City, adding a court appointed death penalty
legal expert to his team, after pleading not guilty to
several charges, including first degree murder in the furtherance of
terrorism and the federal count of murder using a firearm

(01:38:53):
that could result in capital punishment.

Speaker 7 (01:38:56):
Yeah, he faces some serious charges.

Speaker 2 (01:38:59):
Not guilty.

Speaker 7 (01:39:00):
We have you on tape, we have your gun, we
have all this stuff. You do realize that, right, you're
getting that. We see it's you.

Speaker 2 (01:39:06):
Can you really though, I'm trying to figure out what
would be like, what's the the thought process of the
not guilty? What's that thought like? What's the endgame? Because
you know you're not gonna get off? Is the endgame
to tie this up so long in litigation, going from

(01:39:28):
court to court that eventually they just start cutting deals
with you. That's gonna take money.

Speaker 43 (01:39:32):
In the midst of the brewing legal battle. A new
investigation discovery documentary Who Is Luigi Mangioni, is out today
on Max, all about the murder of healthcare CEO Brian Thompson,
featuring new first hand accounts about the accused gunman at
the center of it all.

Speaker 24 (01:39:48):
It's just like a normal, happy, go lucky, kind of
twenty six year old guy. I don't know what would
motivate someone like that, you know, to do something like that.

Speaker 2 (01:39:56):
I do. He was indoctrinated. He bought into a bunch
of bs, and he thought he was doing something that
was going to change the world. And all that got
in was life in prison, probably without the possibility of parole,
and many new friends that he may or may not
want to have his friends three two, three, five, three eight,
twenty four to twenty three at Ched Benson's show is

(01:40:18):
your Twitter tweet at his text to program. It is
kind of weird, though, right that we have people. I mean,
it's just as weird as like when they liked, you know,
Charles Manson or Richard Ramirez or Scott Peterson. It's just
the hell's wrong with you people? Just out of curiosity,
Oh my goodness, me crazy, you know, it's not crazy.

(01:40:40):
Your dog being healthy.

Speaker 45 (01:41:58):
Forty years later, they are gearing up for another adventure.

Speaker 2 (01:42:03):
How Joining a Friend?

Speaker 40 (01:42:04):
You wi a f.

Speaker 2 (01:42:08):
How we know?

Speaker 45 (01:42:09):
A Goonie sequel is officially in the works, a representative
from Warner Brothers Studio, confirming the News Entertainment Weekly. So
the question, now, will any of the original cast return, Well,
we don't know yet, but we can tell you they're
still pals. The crew recently got together for the premiere
of Kihi Kwan's latest movie, You Got, Sean asked in.

(01:42:29):
Jeff Cohen, Kerry Green, Corey Feldman were all there to support,
and you know what they say, Goonies never die.

Speaker 2 (01:42:38):
Where the hell was Thanos Brolin probably the biggest star
of them all. No offense to you, Sean, I mean
you're bigger, but uh, it'd be interesting. I don't know
how they do that. Probably their kids. I'm guessing they
would bring it back. But man, they've been screaming for years.

(01:43:00):
Do something else with the goon He's got to do
something else. Well, this may be the chance. And of course,
if they are going to redo it Hollywood style rather
than adding on to it where they all come back
kind of like it because something's missing. If Hollywood's get

(01:43:23):
a hold of it, everybody's getting to be black trans
lets me in just like goonies would want to chat
just like that. Oh kids, that's a party. But you
know what was the real party over the weekend. Doug's
winter party. You guys remember Doug. We talked about him
last week, the nice, kind old man that rolled on

(01:43:46):
over to his neighbor's house and started a movement that
picked up steam, culminating in his big party on Saturday.

Speaker 5 (01:43:57):
It all started with eighty seven year old Doug Owner's
party invitation to his neighbor going viral.

Speaker 29 (01:44:03):
That's an invite to a party on February fifteenth.

Speaker 5 (01:44:06):
The time four pm until the cops arrived.

Speaker 14 (01:44:09):
The cops never showed up.

Speaker 5 (01:44:12):
Neighbor Michelle Hernanez's video of Doug hand delivering her invitation
now has more than two million views, social media lighting
up with news of the party.

Speaker 2 (01:44:23):
I think everybody should have a neighbor.

Speaker 5 (01:44:25):
Like Doug, and celebrities like Michael Boubla joining in on
the fund.

Speaker 2 (01:44:29):
Doug, you went to the party.

Speaker 14 (01:44:30):
Sounds amazing.

Speaker 5 (01:44:31):
Fan mail arriving from around the world.

Speaker 29 (01:44:34):
From Australia, my sweet neighbor inviting us to his party,
and there's my picture on the front.

Speaker 2 (01:44:40):
Well, we did go to the party, but not actually
go to Bucks County. We went to the party via online.
My wife and the littles and I. We had fun.
We danced, goofed around. There were so many people that
showed up.

Speaker 7 (01:44:54):
It was off the chain.

Speaker 5 (01:44:56):
It was the event of the season, thrown by the host.
Stole in our hearts Doug's Winter party, drawing dozens of
neighbors over the weekend, lucky enough to score an invite
to Doug Turner's home in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

Speaker 14 (01:45:10):
It's been a great connection with a bunch of good neighbors.

Speaker 5 (01:45:13):
Doug's fun loving spirit, inspiring people to throw their own
winter parties. Joining in as Doug's party was streaming, and
thousands more fans from around the country and beyond getting
in on the fund.

Speaker 28 (01:45:24):
I thought we're going to have twenty people, maybe one hundred.
There's been thousands.

Speaker 5 (01:45:29):
Registered from Texas to North Carolina and all the way
north to Calgary, Canada, dancing the night away under a
banner with Doug's iconic line.

Speaker 2 (01:45:39):
And it was awesome. And one of the things we
talked about last week is the humanity that came with that.
And Doug has been, you know, doing some of the
talk show circuit stuff. And again it's an eighty seven
year old guy who has no idea what like why
he's TikTok famous. They'll TikTok even is any of this stuff?
And his kids were like, look, he doesn't understand what's
going on that he's famous on the internet. He doesn't

(01:46:01):
quite get that. You know, this is a guy that's
come over and you know, he walks over. He's eighty
seven years old, he's a widower.

Speaker 7 (01:46:08):
He knocks on the door, he.

Speaker 2 (01:46:09):
Hands a handwritten letter to all of his neighbors. Hey,
I'm having a party, and he does. But one of
the things he talks about is the humanity, especially now
in a divisive world, that even for a little while,
we're not red or blue, left or right, We're just neighbors, have.

Speaker 14 (01:46:29):
Fun, build up the strength of the neighborhood. Yeah, to me,
as part of humanity, I guess.

Speaker 29 (01:46:34):
That somebody had just started, and maybe this will continue
to go on, you know, during the spring, summer and
fallowing around every year.

Speaker 5 (01:46:42):
Doug Turner proving bringing neighbors together never gets old.

Speaker 14 (01:46:47):
So I hope see you next time.

Speaker 29 (01:46:48):
I think I think it's kind of embarrassing to me
because my dad was not a braggot and he hated it,
so he'd be unhappy with this. But the thing I
do like about it is if other people really are
setting up part for their neighborhood friends, that's going to
be a good thing in the country because we're kind
of divided now.

Speaker 14 (01:47:05):
Just might fix some of that, hope.

Speaker 2 (01:47:07):
Amen. I love that. I love that that right there
says everything, and we need more of that, more of
coming together, more of putting aside the ridiculousness. You know,
my show always says is for the exhausted majority. We
lead with common sense, data and facts, but we also
lead with fun humor. Everybody's invited, right or left. We're

(01:47:29):
having a good time. We're talking about the politics. It's
politics today. We're not freaking out. We're not losing our
mind over something. Do she did this or this day?
We're not losing our mind. We come at things in
a way that is just eh, real and reality based.

(01:47:51):
But we're having a good time doing it. So tell
my wife. I get frustrated at times because if I
lived in a world of outrage, it's so much easier
in this business to do and I just can't.

Speaker 7 (01:48:05):
I can't freak out over Elon.

Speaker 2 (01:48:07):
I can't freak out over so much of what we
see because it's not meant to do anything other than
get people riled up. It's not meant to bring any
kind of real conversation to anything, because kind of like Doug,
let's all hang out, let's have some fun, let's talk,

(01:48:30):
let's find out what binds us, and we need more
of that in this country, and unfortunately we're having less
and less of that, and a lot of that has
to do with the fact that we are no longer
driven by even what we think. We're driven by algorithms, which,
as you and I both know, can be very, very
very frustrating. Indeed. Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty
four twenty three At Chad Benson Show, is your Twitter,

(01:49:13):
Wednesday stuff as we always tend to do, which usually
sends the crazy liberals out of their mind and makes
us laugh again.

Speaker 7 (01:49:21):
Common sense not as common as we think.

Speaker 2 (01:49:24):
Plus more on what's going on with Russia and Ukraine
as the meetings are beginning, and you know that's going
to cause a bunch of people to freak out.

Speaker 7 (01:49:32):
Oh my god, what's going on over there? Plus a
lot of other stuff we'll get to tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (01:49:36):
You guys, have a blessed and amazing rest of your Tuesday.

Speaker 1 (01:49:39):
I'm not really a fan of Tuesday.

Speaker 2 (01:49:42):
Go get yourself some tacos. They're on me as always,
Night night Jack.
