Speaker 1 (00:11):
The Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
It's all happening. We got tariffs, we got signal gate,
we got a third term, we got Putin and Trump
maybe fighting. Oh my lord, it's only Monday. Goodness me,
what will happen this week? That's a great question. First
and foremost, though, will we or won't we have tariffs?

(00:34):
Because to me, I always find it as a big
game because I can't even tell you what tariffs are
on or off at this moment in time, because I
don't think anybody knows. I don't even think Trump knows
at this point. Is like other tariffs on them? Do
we do that? I thought we took them off? Oh,
there's tariffs on the other guys. Okay, okay, well, then
let's tariff some other people.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
There's two days to keep in mind. One is April. Second,
that's Wednesday. That's when the reciprocal tariff.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Will be announced.

Speaker 3 (01:01):
This is a list of more than a dozen countries
at least that the administration says have an imbalanced trade
relationship with the US or they're gonna slap these reciprocal
tariffs on them. Then on the third those terriffs presumably
are gonna snap into place, we're talking about tariffs on
goods from Canada and Mexico twenty five percent, tariffs on
foreign cars and car parts.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
Lots and lots of tariffs. Maybe some tariffs over here.
A couple of terraffs over here, have a little tariffs
for this. Uh over here, you guys don't have enough tariffs.
We've got to do this, uh tariff tariff, tariff, tariff.
I don't know what is actually going to happen. I
don't cause to people I talk to, you will tell

(01:44):
me same thing. Could be maybe lots of uh, you
know what, now a Trump he may come out to
my go April fools. We're not treiff for anything. I
have no idea. I think anybody knows.

Speaker 4 (01:56):
The tariffs will be far more those countries more to us,
meaning they will be kinder then those countries were to
the United States of America.

Speaker 5 (02:09):
Over the decades.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
There you go, They're going to be kinder tariffs. I
don't even know there were kinder tariffs. What matters is
how does this affect you? That's what matters. If this
costs more money, if this costs people to say, wait
a minute, stuff that I need is getting more expensive,

(02:31):
and a lot of people are focusing right now on
the auto industry, and we'll get to that in a second,
but it's still about the economy and if life gets
more expensive, people are going to get more frustrated.

Speaker 6 (02:43):
According to a phone interview with NBC News, Trump responded
to a question about reports that he pressured auto company
CEOs not to raise prices by saying this quote, No,
I never said that. I couldn't care less if they
raise prices because people are going to start buying American
made cars. How does that land with the automaker industry.

Speaker 7 (03:03):
Well, prices are going to go up if these tariffs
go through, and we're applying tariffs to different cars based
on where they're built. Most likely prices are going to
go up by a few thousand dollars at least, but
it would vary from brand to brand, and maybe even
from model to.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
Model, because and the brand to brand is interesting when
you go and see how many cars are actually produced here,
because it's not just about the cars. They may be
assembled in Canada, but a vast majority of the parts
are produced here, So it's not just about like if
we think a car comes from Canada Mexico, a vast
majority that the parts and wren may be made here,

(03:38):
So you're talking about contractors and companies who are producing
all kinds of parts for that vehicle that again is
actually assembled somewhere else and then brought back over here.
So those people will take hits.

Speaker 6 (03:57):
So we've been talking about this in the content of
new car buyers. Sure, but as it relates to the
car parts when you go into a repair shop, are
people going to feel it there too?

Speaker 8 (04:08):
Maybe?

Speaker 7 (04:09):
Because remember when cars are built today, a lot of
the car is built by a supplier. So the company
that sells the car doesn't make every single thing that
goes into that car. They use suppliers and partners, and
those partners and suppliers often provide the parts that you
and I purchase to fix our cars.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
So yes, it's possible.

Speaker 7 (04:28):
That the prices for cars that are repaired, even a
car that you already own, that could go.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
Up as well. It's possible. Again, all of it's possible.
It's also possible it may never ever ever happen, which
is a possibility as well. So you've got all these
things potentially happening, and the market's reacting as if they're
going to happen. At the same time, you've got the

(04:55):
likes of the United Autoworkers Jean Fayn here talking about great,
how excited he is for this.

Speaker 9 (05:00):
We have excess capacity. They can bring work back in
very short order. And yes, they're in a situation where
they need to build a new plant. Now that's going
to take a couple of years, but there is plenty
of opportunity for these companies to do the right thing
and bring work back here overnight, just as quick as
they shift that out of here.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
That's if we are no longer a consumer based nation,
and I think we're absolutely a consumer based nation. We're
still price forward. We want stock them deep, sell them cheap.
That's who we are. So if you think we're going
to pay a lot more money for something, you're fooling yourself.
And I go back to this, there's no guarantee that

(05:39):
these jobs are going to go to humans. There's no
guarantee that these jobs are going to come back. They
may come back temporarily to humans, but there's no guarantee
in the long run of bringing all these cars to
be manufactured or whatever it is you're trying to do
back here, that those things are going to go to
human beings. Zero guarantees.

Speaker 10 (05:57):
It can literally change with a pen stroke. Because of that,
there's no certainty on how long it'll actually lasts. And
that's important when you're thinking about building a plant and
bringing production back that takes you know, three to five
years to do.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
Three to five and that's being kind. Got to think
about all the insanity you have to go through depending
on where you're actually trying to build. We'll see again,
I don't know, I have no idea. Trump came out
and said, we're going to hit every country in the
world with this. So if we've got to trade deficit
with you, be prepared to get hit with something. Unless

(06:39):
we're just consuming a bunch. You let us sell our
stuff there and we consume more than we sell there.
Well that's one thing, but be prepared. So this is
going to be interesting, no doubt. Speaking of interesting while
all this is going on, obviously signal gait and we'll
touch on that in a little bit. But Trump the

(07:00):
troll doing what Trump does over the weekend, a talk
of what.

Speaker 5 (07:05):
I've raised a lot of money for the next race.

Speaker 11 (07:08):
President Trump reportedly says he's considering ways to serve a
third term. The President, telling NBC's Christen Welker, quote, there
are methods which you could do it, when asked to clarify,
saying I'm not joking, later adding it's far too early
to think about it, but the.

Speaker 12 (07:21):
President and his allies have been floating the idea.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
For a month.

Speaker 13 (07:24):
Allowed to run again? I'm not sure am I allowed
to run again?

Speaker 11 (07:27):
Amending the constitution for Trump to run a third term
would be extremely difficult, at first, requiring two thirds approval
by Congress and then ratification by thirty eight states.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
It's not going to happen. And I have said this
and I'll continue to say this. If Trump thinks he's
going to run again, I will do everything in my
power to make sure that I go against him. Sorry,
I don't care what you come up with. It's a
bunch of crap. Term limits. They're there for a reason, Okay,
But this, to me is more about trolling than anything else.

Speaker 14 (08:00):
Trump acknowledging that he believes one of those methods could
be having Vice President JD. Vance run for president in
twenty twenty eight with Trump as his running mate, and
then have Vance resign so Trump can stay in the
Oval office. The twenty second amendment blocks presidents from serving
a third term, saying no person shall be elected to
office of the president more than twice. Trump allies have
claimed there's a potential loophole because the amendment does not

(08:23):
specify consecutive terms.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
Oh god, yeah, good luck. And we heard you know,
Bannon said a couple of weeks ago. I'm sorry, that's
a no go for me. And when I went online
last night and I looked at where this story was
a lot of people out there were saying he's trolling,
and even if he's not, that's a hell no for me.
And many people said they voted for him three times

(08:47):
and they will not vote for him a fourth period.
Case closed, Nor should you, Nor should you, although you
do get the people out there give him another twenty eight.
He's just getting rolling up, eh. And it's a troll,

(09:11):
That's what I think it is. He likes the troll. I'mtrolling.
The trolling is fun. But do I think that he's serious. No,
he can't be serious. He can't be serious. And if
you're serious, what the hell are you doing? Man? Honestly,
somebody said, would you really go out there? Yes? I would.
I would really go out there and campaign the hell

(09:34):
out of it against him, because that is ridiculous. And
I know a lot of other Republicans that feel the
same way, a lot more than feel Yes, how would
you feel if you're JD. Vans, Hey, I'm gonna use
you so I can stay on a third term. All right,

(09:56):
he's already had a hard enough time in Greenland. Oh
my lord, speaking of stuff overseas, we attacked the Hootis
did a pretty damn good job at that. The question, though, is,
as everybody's asking over the weekend, oh my god, was
this a breach of this? Was this a breach of that?
How could they? You know what? I continue to go
back to you, guys, Jack the pooch. It was a mistake, period,

(10:20):
case closed. It was a mistake. If there is more
to it, If there are more things out there that
they did that was obviously classified and you added people's
names to it that you should have, well then that's
a serious issue. If this was a one and done scenario,

(10:44):
we move on. It's not a good look, but there
were plenty of not good looks for a lot of presidents.

Speaker 15 (10:52):
If you're trying to assess what should we do about it?
I hear Democrats arguing, well, we should fire Pete Haksy,
we should fire financial security advisor. For firing people like
this is really high from the last administration when after
the Afghanistan withdrawal, which was a disaster, people died, No
accountability was mated out, after the drone strike that vaporized
those poor kids in that family, no accountability, after the

(11:14):
Secretary of Defense went a wall, no accountability. So if
you're arguing today that we should get rid of Pete
Hegseth over a small mistake regarding communications even while he
was expertly executing this military operation against the Huthi rebels,
which also the Biden administration.

Speaker 1 (11:31):
Didn't take up.

Speaker 15 (11:31):
I just I don't have I don't have a lot
of time for that argument today, and neither is most Republicans.

Speaker 2 (11:36):
I think lonely Scott is right. So lots of stuff
going on, and we got a lot of stuff to
get to today three two, three, five, three, eight, twenty
four to twenty three at Chad Benson Show, is your
ex and your Instagram? Got some tweets, got some texts,
got a bunch of other stuff. But first, birch Gold
Gold Baby in them their hills? Why gold well, it's

(11:57):
been around forever. It's not going anywhere. It's a great
hedge for inflation, a downturn of the market, uncertainty in
the world. You see where we're going with this. Smart people, bankers,
big investors, they're moving to places like gold, and it's
made a move. You can see that the opportunity is
still there, especially the sooner you get it. Now Birtch

(12:18):
wants to do something. They want to get you an infoKit,
simple and easy, all right, you text the word Benson
to ninety eight ninety eight ninety eight. Today they're going
to get you out an infoKit, show you what they're
all about and why it is great to protect yourself
with gold. That includes all the things you've worked for
in the future where you think things may go, and
just in case they don't, how gold will help stabilize

(12:41):
and save potentially what could be a giant mess. So
what are you waiting for? Text the word Benson to
ninety eight, ninety eight, ninety eight to find out why
gold is good for you. That is the word Benson
to ninety eight, ninety eight, ninety eight. Today it is
the Chad Benson Show.

Speaker 1 (13:10):
Jad Benson the.

Speaker 16 (13:11):
First check goes to Nicholas Jacobs.

Speaker 14 (13:14):
Elon Musk handed two Wisconsin voters a check for a
million dollars each last night, hours after the state Supreme
Court rejected an attempt to block the giveaway. It's a
win for Musk from the very court he's trying to shape.
He and his political action groups have spent more than
twenty million dollars on the Wisconsin Supreme Court race, Musk
claiming the future of humanity may rest on it.

Speaker 17 (13:33):
It's a big deal.

Speaker 14 (13:35):
Tuesday's election will determine the ideological tilt of the court,
which is set to consider abortion and labor rights.

Speaker 2 (13:41):
It's not really the big deal on why the abortion
of labor rights. It is the districts if the left wins.
Remember these are supposed to this whole big thing about Wisconsin.
This is a Supreme Court seat supposed to be nonpartisan,
so you're not running as a Democratic Republican. But everybody
knows Soros is down in the town of last week.

(14:01):
We found that out on the other side. Yes, he's
throwing a ton of money in Elon eighty million dollars
into the seat, but it has nothing to do with
abortion or workers' rights. It has all to do with
how you line up the districts, how you line up
the areas in which people vote, jerry mandering essentially.

Speaker 16 (14:18):
You know, normally an election for a judge would not
be that big of a deal. It just so happens
that in this case it could decide the control of
the US House of Representatives.

Speaker 2 (14:31):
It could, which would be a huge deal. Right now,
six of the eight seats tilt towards the right. They
were to redraw those things, what does that look like?
Did they get two more if there was a ten
or fifteen seat difference in the House. I don't think
anybody care. But we're not there. We're we're on a

(14:52):
knife edge, a razor's edge when it comes to seats,
when it comes to how divided we are at any
given time, it's fifty one forty nine to the right
or to the left, depending on the week.

Speaker 16 (15:07):
It could decide the future of the House of Representatives.
It could decide in the future of America, in the
future of the.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
World, which is a big deal, very big deal. And
he understands that. Top of that, he talked about Tesla, which,
as we know, is having some issues.

Speaker 16 (15:24):
But at long term, I think Tesla stock's going to
do fine, so you know, maybe it's a buying opportunity.

Speaker 2 (15:35):
For the record, we have been very much a supporter
of Tesla in the stock, but we've also been very
honest that thing is too damn expensive. Just a thought
for you right here on the Chad Benson Show. So
a lot of these stocks, as we've talked to our
good buddy Zach abram Chie investment officer, as you guys know,

(15:57):
we've talked about that a lot. How so many of
these damns docks across the board are ridiculously priced. Got
a lot of stuff to get to still on this Monday,
including more on some greenland, because who doesn't want some
more greenland? Right like we could use a little bit
more greenland here in the United States of America or not.
I still have no idea what some of this wackiness

(16:17):
is about baseball stuff, including are the Yankees cheating? Just
to name a few things we'll be getting to. But first,

tesla as you, do saw some of them. Online hilariously.
Awful why are you line dancing just out of? Curiosity
did that stop? Anything probably. Not In, DALLAS, lulac, oh

(18:26):
lots of, people the, people you know.

Speaker 8 (18:28):
It around fifteen thousand people carried banners through the streets
of Downtown dallas at a demonstration organized by The league
Of United Latin American CITIZENS lulac national President Domingo.

Speaker 2 (18:39):
Garcia people are not afraid. Anymore people are standing up
and we're gonna stet up with.

Speaker 8 (18:43):
What the statue of liberty stamps For garcia is pushing
for policies that create a pathway to allow immigrants to
stay in the.

Speaker 2 (18:49):
Country, okay, well what are you gonna do just out of?
Curiosity BECAUSE i don't see a pathway for you at
this moment in. Time and the Recent trump's in office
is because because of the last administration's absolute failure and unmitigated,
disaster allowing tens of thousands and millions of people to

(19:09):
wander across the border and into this. Country and because of,
that people said we'd had, enough that included independence And democrats.
Enough trump's come. In the, numbers by the, way are
insane when you look at how low the numbers are

(19:33):
when it comes to people coming here and crossing the.
Border how about, this let's Go march twenty. Seventh That's,
thursday last, Week El paso a year before eleven hundred
and thirty, four this year thirty, Two tucson twelve hundred
and twenty, two this year fifty. Nine we can go
on and. On San diego almost one thousand this year

(19:56):
thirty six in, total and twenty nine the year before
this year two hundred and fifty. Four those are, apprehensions
and the difference is a vast majority of those two
fifty four were spun around and sent. Back. Oh, yes
there are some questions to be asked when it comes

(20:19):
to what is going on with, speech as some people would,
say but with the, students some of these people that
have green, cards there are plenty of questions that need
to be asked in the due process. Area i'm not
going to say that there, isn't because there. Is i'd
like to know. MORE i want that. TRANSPARENCY i was
promised that being. Said this is a reaction to the, bad,

(20:45):
horrible ridiculously crappy job that majorcis and The Tzar kamala
and of course that Guy biden did or didn't do
for the last four, years and people are pissed and,
angry AND ice is out there. Looking if you didn't
see last week that lady From, TUFTS i think she's

(21:08):
a thirty year old doctoral student with eight months left
on her her. Course she was picked up BY ice
agents rolling out of a. Van now people are, like
we'll go get.

Speaker 19 (21:21):
Them then shoot AT ice agents on. Site that's. Right
IF ice agents are trying to take you or a loved,
one shoot them on. Site the way they're pulling up
with masks, on with unmarked, vehicles no, badge no. Nothing
it could be. Anybody it could be game. Members you
have every right to shoot at. Them this would be
the best self defense. Case you're just in fear for your.

(21:43):
Life you don't know who's behind that unmarked vehicle or
who's behind that.

Speaker 2 (21:47):
Mask oh, really, shoot just start blasting. Away this is.

Speaker 19 (21:53):
Ridiculous what is our country coming? To why would you
want to be AN ice agent? Anyway do you like
separating kids from their? Parents do you like deporting students
that are. STUDYING i can understand importing a gang member or,
criminals but innocent people it's ridiculous the way THESE i
agents are pulling up With masison unmarked. Vehicles they are

(22:15):
pulling up like gang. Members they're pulling up like the.
Mafia you might as well shoot them on site and
have your day in. Court take, care.

Speaker 2 (22:22):
Guys, okay good luck with that. One see how that
one works out for. You people are so stupid they.
Are this is a reaction to how pisspoor the last
job was done by the last administration or not done at.
All speaking of this administration versus the last, Administration Little

(22:43):
maha Making america healthy.

Speaker 20 (22:45):
Again but it takes a lot of courage to stand
up to these companies the same way that it did
to stand up to big.

Speaker 21 (22:51):
Tobacco health And Human Services Secretary ROBERT. F Kennedy, junior
Applauding West Virginia Governor Patrick morrissey after he signed a
bill banning so artificial food dies more than a dozen
other states planning similar, moves and professor Of data science
At Washington university In Saint, louis Doctor liberty vinters warning
that Make America Healthy again initiatives will make your groceries

(23:13):
unaffordable for a lot Of americans out. There Doctor vinder
joined us. Now she's also feature editor of The Harvard
Data Science. Review, Liberty it's always good to have. You you,
know Your hill article was a weekend read of.

Speaker 19 (23:24):
Mine AND i.

Speaker 21 (23:25):
Agree not many people talking about the other side of
the coin. Here what kind of cost increase are we talking?

Speaker 2 (23:32):
About being healthy is not. Cheap there's a reason That
Whole foods And Trader joe's and a few of these
other places are in specific areas because it's not cheap
to be. Healthy we would love. It we've talked about
this is a guy who releases a book every year
about to every couple of years about the fact that

(23:53):
the things that we actually need in life are becoming more.
Expensive the things that are luxuries in many cases are
becoming less, expensive and that includes.

Speaker 22 (24:03):
Food you, know certainly in the initial, run it's going
to take a very long time for the market to
reset for something like. This so in the initial, run
you have schools school lunches which are going to cost
taxpayers up to six hundred and fifty dollars extra a.
Year but that's nothing compared to what the grocery bills
are going to. Be for the lowest income, families it's

(24:24):
going to be an extra five thousand dollars a. Year
for middle income families up to an extra nine thousand
dollars a. Year and when you Have americans who can't
sixty percent who can't afford a one thousand dollars, emergency
this is going to be, devastating.

Speaker 2 (24:38):
You, think and, again this is if it takes. Hold
but we talk about gas being a perfect, example costing
us an extra whatever it, is you, know over over
a period of, time say twenty five hundred a. Year
then you throw an inflation costing an extra you, know

(24:58):
two thousand. Year you have forty five hundred people like
this is, Ridiculous we, can't this is. Insane now let's
say even those have come. Down now you're talking potentially
about the NEW maha Make america healthy, again sounding like
this is gonna get expensive.

Speaker 21 (25:15):
Fast, yeah you've actually broke down some of the numbers
for us on how much healthy alternatives could. Run let
me share. This neutral grain bars can run just under
five bucks for twelve, bars but a die free snack
bar From truvanni that goes.

Speaker 1 (25:30):
For nearly forty two.

Speaker 21 (25:32):
Dollars the graphic also shows popular items like cereal potato
chips that could also surge in. Price so what's going
to happen to the average consumer and these?

Speaker 22 (25:40):
FAMILIES i, mean this is this is this isn't about.
You there's people that are understandably really worried about these
dies and preservatives that are in. Food AND i completely
respect that.

Speaker 2 (25:49):
And agree with the ethos of.

Speaker 22 (25:51):
It but is it better to have people be able
to eat something versus? Nothing you, know this is a
cost that is just going to be completely unaffordable to
the Average, American and so what are we going to
do when people just can't? Eat it'd be fabulous if
we could all buy the forty two dollars for twelve
bars Of, trevanni that would be, Great but we simply
can't do. It so it's going to go from the

(26:12):
have and the have nots to just have.

Speaker 2 (26:14):
Not those people won't have anything to. Eat, well then
we're going to get. Thinner it truly is a situation
where and this is the stuff THAT i think is
important for us to talk about because this is real.
Life the cost of our medical is. Tremendous getting healthy
is not, cheap and it isn't always. Easy and over
the years we've been sold addiction to all kinds of

(26:37):
sweeteners and all kinds of things like, that and that isn't.
Good but we have to find a happy medium here
because while Making america healthy again is, smart making everybody
broke again isn't going to get you any. More love
at the ballot box three, two, three, five three, eight
twenty four to twenty three At Chad benson shows Your
twitter tweet at a texta program speaking of getting. Healthy

(27:00):
there's a better cheaper way to do, this and that's

Show you're Working, Man that's right an.

Speaker 24 (28:20):
Upset The Jason STATHAM mgm THRILLER a Working man took
the top spot at movie theater box, offices a fifteen
point two million dollar debut at best At disney's live
action Remake Snow.

Speaker 2 (28:31):
White The fairest.

Speaker 24 (28:33):
Predicted to remain first IN us And canadian, theaters but
studio estimates showed a sixty six percent drop fourteen point two. Million,
disney the parent company OF Abc. News the chosen Last
supper was, third And Horror Flic The woman in The yard.

Speaker 2 (28:46):
Fourth, Ooh disney not doing. Well they don't know what to.
Do some, people, though did like the.

Speaker 25 (28:52):
Movie Growing up Snow white was my. Favorite after hearing
all the people talking crab about, THIS i was really
scared that she wouldn't embody Snow white or that this
just would didn't give what the first movie. Gate in
my autance, opinion this was so much better THAN i.
Expected it had a lot of that classic element that
the first Snow white.

Speaker 26 (29:07):
HAD i went into it thinking.

Speaker 25 (29:08):
It was gonna, suck it was going to be nothing
like the, original BUT i was actually shocked at how
much they referenced the original and how similar it actually.
Was one of the only, differences which honestly was a huge,
different was that Snow white wasn't waiting around for a,
prince but she did end up falling in. Love So
i'm not sure why people think there's just no love
story in.

Speaker 2 (29:23):
Here oh my, GOD i don't know either why that isn't.
Happening because she came out and said that she didn't
want to do any of those, things but then all
of a sudden she got a did some of that.
Thing but there's still how are the midgets of The
dwarf season? There why aren't they in? There what's going?
On i've got the, strong so they catch Hup, ah.

Speaker 25 (29:38):
Even though she's not waiting on that prince to. Come
like the og Snow, white she definitely embodied Snow white.
Perfectly WHEN i think of Snow, WHITE i think of.
KINDNESS i think of someone who looks after all, people
and that is exactly what this Snow white. Does the
last cringe quote unquote MOVIE i saw Was Mean. GIRLS
a lot of people hated on, that BUT i actually
loved that one. Too so could they made the dress
a little bit? Better could they have chosen someone?

Speaker 26 (29:58):
Different?

Speaker 25 (29:59):
Maybe BUT i honestly was way more impressed THAN i
THOUGHT i was going to be with this. MOVIE i
Think rachel did. AMAZING i think the songs were catchy
on listen to people who haven't seen the, movie BUT
i totally get this isn't everyone's cup of, Tea no.

Speaker 2 (30:09):
It's, not and they blew, it and they blew a billion. Dollars,
essentially this is something they took in the, shots but
they did that to. Themselves this so much with The,
democrats and this goes back To. Democrats they are the
party of no. Fun they are the party of, overregulation over,
rules absolutely the party of just being fun. Ruiners they

(30:33):
just stopped being any.

Speaker 27 (30:34):
FUN i mean they made everything everyone feel that everything
they said and did and every word was. Wrong and
people don't want to live like, that feeling that everything
they do is.

Speaker 28 (30:48):
Wrong, no you think we're over that?

Speaker 5 (30:50):
Era and do you think they're?

Speaker 27 (30:51):
NO i, THINK i, MEAN i Think democrats are just
in a. Coma they haven't figured out.

Speaker 2 (30:56):
Right but this right here is marine of doubt And
Bill maher on his podcast talking about how The democrats
are no fun and lo and behold what comes up
in the midst of this.

Speaker 28 (31:10):
Conversation, now the wok are not giving up on. THAT i,
mean we saw with The Seven dwarves movie just came
out right and The dwarves, right they thought about The.
Dwarves it's so funny. Though this is again one of
my big problems with. Aggressives they just they're so stupid
so often about things that they find their way back

(31:31):
to something that's very, unprogressive like you think getting jobs
for people very, progressive not if you're a. Dwarf, course
like there are dwarves out there who wanted to play
these parts who couldn't because it was somehow politically incorrect
to portray dwarves AS i don't know miners who know snow.

(31:52):
White it's a fucking crazy character that somebody invented for.
Children you're and you're arguing about whether it's right the
real dwarves played.

Speaker 2 (32:01):
Dwarves there aren't dwarves in the, world and there. Are
and it was Because Peter dinkle said something and they
blew it up and decided we're not going to do
this because he's, right these dwarves who are miners shouldn't
live inside of a. Cave and so they came up
with something where they were going to first have regular

(32:23):
sized people play. Bandits then they cegi'ed the creepiest things
you could find in a live action, movie which made
everybody go really and so, last here we? Are why is?
That because it went with feelings and empathy and you
decided to get rid of peoples what you saw prejudice
or them making fun of, people and in doing, so.

(32:46):
Dwarves little people lost, jobs they lost gigs because and
you're sitting there, going you guys feel better about, this
we helped you. Out, NO i don't think they. DO
i think they feel pissed.

Speaker 28 (32:58):
And there are jobs for them you lost on there
and then Snow white Loves Palestine LIKE i wasn't gonna
see this movie, anyway but you know that people who
get their news from tiktoky just please.

Speaker 2 (33:15):
Shut the fuck.

Speaker 27 (33:16):
Up it WAS i think The democrats just got to
have a suffocating persona where you just couldn't do anything
or say anything that wasn't to be.

Speaker 28 (33:26):
Criticized somebody wants wrote the politics of purity makes people
stupid than?

Speaker 21 (33:30):
Me was that?

Speaker 5 (33:31):
You it was?

Speaker 29 (33:32):
You?

Speaker 2 (33:32):
Fool was that? You? Now that was?

Speaker 30 (33:35):
You?

Speaker 13 (33:35):
Fool?

Speaker 2 (33:37):
Oh my, goodness me just crazy, right got to do
something stupid to make you feel. GOOD i eve the,
dwarfs the little people got to make sure that they're
not in the movie because that would be seen as
something that could be. Bad, so quote, unquote the normies
hop in make a decision that takes away seven parts

(33:59):
in a major motion picture and then replaces them WITH
cgi at the. End so, silly don't do. It speaking
of not doing.

Speaker 28 (34:09):
It run at, first he holds his, pit swung on
drive the deep, left say, Goodbye Oh, baby.

Speaker 31 (34:16):
Way back in the front section of the blitchers and
left Field.

Speaker 2 (34:21):
Aaron judge with another home. Run over the, weekend The
yankees debuted a special bat that now was causing.

Speaker 14 (34:30):
Controversy at the center of the controversy the so called torpedo,
bat which Some yankee players are using this. Season the
bats are designed to have more wood in the sweet
spot where the batter most often makes contact with the,
ball giving them their distinct. Bulge each player using a
torpedo bat has the bulge in the spot suited to.
Them the bat was developed by a Former yankees coach
who also happens to be a former physics professor with

(34:53):
a doctorate FROM. Mit Major League baseball says the bat
is in compliance with league, rules so there's nothing stopping
other teams from using.

Speaker 2 (35:00):
It but you already have people coming out. Complaining Major
League baseball's already chiming in on. It don't change a damn,
thing don't do. It don't become The. Democrats if this
makes the game more, exciting let the game be more.
Exciting you were already troubled in viewership on the national

Gate is it? Serious Do americans worry About do they
think it's a big? Deal is this the end in
the beginning and the beginning of the end of the
middle of the? Beginning?

Speaker 5 (36:59):
Maybe?

Speaker 2 (37:00):
Yes know who?

Speaker 29 (37:00):
Knows in our NEW cbs news, pool let's, see three
quarters Of americans say that this was to them a
serious metal. MATTER a total of seventy six percent Of
americans also said the use of the app to discuss
military plans was to their way of, thinking not, appropriate
and that included eight and ten independents and more than

(37:21):
half Of republicans surveyed.

Speaker 2 (37:24):
Like his reading, there, all let's see, Here i'm going
to be as surprised as you guys on. This oh,
yeah it seems like that is you know what matters the? Economy? What,
yeah that's. It that's what. Matters you AND i both
know the economy. Matters. Yes was it? Stupid? Absolutely was it?
Ridiculous one hundred? Percent did the thing that we were

(37:48):
supposed to do in this situation actually get? HANDLED i?

Speaker 15 (37:51):
E the?

Speaker 2 (37:51):
HOOTIES i think the.

Speaker 20 (37:53):
Larger story here is actually that we have finally begun
to strike the hoothies. Hard there's an ode a young,
SONG i lift the line from it should have been
done long. Ago, well now we're beginning to do, it
and we're beginning to strike effectively at a, pace a,
scope and a tempo that frankly eluded the last information
at The lads. Deministration AND i would argue that we're

(38:13):
doing it because for the first, time we have the
political will to employ appropriate military capability against The, houthis
and we want one or two things from The. Houthis
we want them either to be deterred from attacking ships
that pass through The Babel, mindeb which really means The Suez.
Canal that's one. Condition the other condition would be if
they want if they won't, stop we want to remove

(38:34):
their capability to do.

Speaker 2 (38:35):
It there you, GO i like. It let's get on with.
It let's find out what we're going to. Do, Right
we're gonna smack them and get over it and move
on from. There but it's still about the. Economy while
that's a story that's, dramatic and they could, say look
all these people are, incompetent they're. Idiots we would never
do anything like. This we are. Great when The democrats

(38:56):
run everything smooth as can, be never any issues. Whatsoever
smooth as can. Be we continue to say that it's
smooth as can, be even though we can go back
To afghanistan and you know, what as horrible As afghanistan
was in the, pullout you guys do remember they killed
a dude and his seven kids because they had great.

(39:21):
Intel he was going out for. Milk he wasn't a
part of anything. Like don't so how many people lost their?
Job well? Nobody, okay, okay just putting that out. There
but it's about the. Economy tariffs are, Here prices where
are they?

Speaker 32 (39:37):
Going you could see prices rising pretty quickly in a
vast array of industries, electronics fresh, produce, pharmaceuticals, clothing, footwear
and much. More and in, fact in some instances we've
already seen these prices. Rise take home, prices for, example
The National association of Home builders says that in anticipation
of steel and aluminum, tariffs the cost to build a

(39:58):
new home has already risen more than nine thousand.

Speaker 2 (40:00):
Dollars oh my, GOODNESS i was gonna, say are we
importing houses? Now you didn't, hear but are we headed to?
Recession could that be part of the grand scheme of,
things which is Something i've heard out there and talk
to some people. About Could trump, say, look we're going
to eventually get to. Recession i'd rather get this thing

(40:20):
over with sooner rather than. Later and let's go hard
at some. Things and if it pushes us into a little,
recession they're able to drop interest, Rates we're able to
kick you, know you, know kick it into high, gear push.
Out things might be. Good and that's that's a stretch
because you never know how things are going to, react,
Right it's like nature can mess you. Up but are
we headed? There kevin, O'Leary mister, wonderful let me ask

(40:44):
you about.

Speaker 15 (40:44):
Recession seventy one percent of our fellow citizen see a
recession on the.

Speaker 5 (40:48):
Horizon do you.

Speaker 2 (40:50):
AGREE i don't.

Speaker 33 (40:51):
AGREE i look at tear sheets on fifty four companies
that are all private selling in all eleven. SECTORS i
haven't seen any recessionary trends. YET a lot of this
has to do with job owning being scared about what
these tariffs are going to. Do, now if these tariffs
stayed in place a long period of, time, yes they
could have some pressure in terms of slowing things down
due to price.

Speaker 26 (41:10):
Increases and.

Speaker 33 (41:11):
Inflation BUT i don't think that's the.

Speaker 2 (41:12):
CASE i don't think it's the case. EITHER i think
With trump everything's in. Negotiation SO i could not tell
you what tariffs are on at this moment in, time
because every TIME i think that there's a tariff With,
mexico there. Isn't are we do we have some With?
Canada do we? Not have we hit time? Out is

(41:35):
it just a is this? Game you? Know is this a?
Pregame or are we doing? THIS i don't. Know but
the longer it, goes the more there is a.

Speaker 33 (41:44):
Risk i'm in the camp that says this is a,
giant very, difficult complex negotiation across fifteen different, countries and
most countries are going to be incentivized to cut a
deal BECAUSE i don't see it in the. Numbers this
is a strong. Economy consumers still have money to. SEND
i think you have to take the noise away from the.
Signal the signal's pretty good in the economy right. Now

(42:05):
let's see what happens over the next two to three
months on this tariff, stuff and we'll find.

Speaker 2 (42:11):
Out but it's still about the. Economy and as long
as the economy feels good and that's the consumer side of. Things,
remember we're a nation based on. Consumption, okay so based
on consumption means we like to. Consume it's what drives
seventy percent of what it is that our economy is.

(42:33):
About we export ideas and we import, goods and we
like them. Cheap, now is this going to be a
situation where we're going to see, prices especially in the auto,
industry maybe take a. Jump that is always a. Possibility

(42:55):
if indeed they stay on for, longer then who knows how.

Speaker 6 (42:58):
Long according to a phone interview WITH Nbc, News trump
responded to a question about reports that he pressured auto
company CEOs not to raise prices by saying this, Quote,
NO i never said.

Speaker 2 (43:10):
THAT i couldn't care less if.

Speaker 6 (43:11):
They raise prices because people are going to start Buying
american made. Cars how does that land with the automaker, Industry.

Speaker 7 (43:19):
Well prices are going to go up if these tariffs go,
through and we're applying tariffs to different cars based on
where they're. Built most likely prices are going to go
up by a few thousand dollars at, least but it
would vary from brand to, brand and maybe even from
model to.

Speaker 2 (43:32):
Model, ooh brand to, brand model to. Model so why is.
That there's a lot of, reasons one of which is
the difference between making a car somewhere and assembling.

Speaker 6 (43:47):
It so we've been talking about this in the context
of new car, buyers, sure but as it relates to
the car parts when you go into a repair, shop
are people going to feel it there?

Speaker 21 (43:57):
Too?

Speaker 7 (43:58):
Maybe because remember when cars are built, today a lot
of the car is built by a. Supplier so the
company that sells the car doesn't make every single thing
that goes into that. Car they use suppliers and, partners
and those partners and suppliers often provide the parts that
you AND i purchase to fix our.

Speaker 2 (44:16):
Cars so, yes it's possible.

Speaker 7 (44:18):
That the prices for cars that are, repaired even a
car that you already, own that could go up as.

Speaker 2 (44:23):
Well it's, WORKING i mean it. Is they want us
skip back in horse and. Buggy it's. Happening it's happening
faster than we. Thought could you Believe trump saved the
world from climate change because he made us all get
back in horse and? Buggy i'm.

Speaker 7 (44:38):
Kidding insurance depends on how the parts availability, are so,
yes that's also possible that's probably more of a delayed.
Reaction the first thing you would probably see is new car,
prices and then remember used car prices tend to follow
new car. Prices those things together will conspire to see
whether or not the parts and the insurance go up after.

Speaker 2 (45:00):
Find, out because By thursday we're onto something. New so
By thursday we've moved past this Because trump's decided to
delay it Till May may, first and this will be
the last. TIME i don't. Know maybe maybe he, does
maybe he, doesn't because there's always something. Happening there's always

(45:23):
something going, on there's always something that is taking. Place
that's a thousand gazillion. MILES i, mean if it's not
that it's a fact that he wants a third. Term
what over the weekend he talked about a third, term
which of course set people freaking. OUT i have said
this And i'll continue to say, this no, period case,

(45:45):
close end of. Story if you think you deserve a third,
term you are. Wrong it should never. Happen the fact
that you're even talking about, it even mentioning, it even
flirting with the IDEA a is trolley AND b is.

Speaker 5 (45:58):
Ridiculous raised there's a lot of money for the next.

Speaker 11 (46:01):
Race President trump reportedly says he's considering ways to serve
a third.

Speaker 12 (46:05):
Term the president telling NBC's Christen.

Speaker 11 (46:08):
Welker, quote there are methods which you could do, it
when asked to, clarify Saying i'm not, joking later adding
it's far too early to think about.

Speaker 12 (46:15):
It but the president and his allies have been floating
the idea.

Speaker 13 (46:18):
From mom allowed to run? Again i'm not sure AM
i allowed to run?

Speaker 11 (46:21):
Again amending the constitution For trump to run a third
term would be extremely difficult at, first requiring two thirds
approval By congress and then ratification by thirty eight, States.

Speaker 2 (46:31):
So that couldn't really happen that. Way is there other?

Speaker 14 (46:35):
Ways trump acknowledging that he believes one of those methods
could be Having Vice PRESIDENT. Jd vance run for president
in twenty twenty eight With trump as his running, mate
and then Have vance resign So trump can stay in
the oval. Office the twenty Second amendment blocks presidents from
serving a third, term saying no person shall be elected
to office of The. President more than. Twice trump allies

(46:55):
have claimed there's a potential loophole because the amendment does
not specify consecutive.

Speaker 2 (46:59):
Terms oh my, god here's what would. Happen, nothing because
it's not going to. Happen first of, all you'll be
what eighty one years. Old that's a. No, secondly we've
got this in the. Constitution but, no we've got this
in the. Constitution nobody wants. This outside of a few,

(47:24):
nuts nobody wants. THIS i don't even Think trump wants.
IT i think he likes. TROLLING i think he enjoys
the troll factor for, sure because it takes everything off the, economy,
tariffs the you know what's going on with the signal signal. Gate,
oh nobody wants. This AND i won't campaign against. HIM

(47:44):
i won't run against him because you know, ME i
don't want to run against. Anybody it seems like a
lot of. Work but why wouldn't. You you promised everybody
you weren't going to do, this but now you're thinking about.
It Steve bannon comes. Out BUT i think much of
this is a, troll which he loves to do because
it's got everybody. Talking i'd rather talk, about you, know

(48:05):
other stuff like what's going on with, You, kray what's
going on in The Middle, east what's going on with?

Trump now threatening tariffs On russian oil After Russian President
Vladimir putin Claimed ukraine's President Vladimir zelensky lacks the legitimacy
to sign a peace. Deal the president TELLING Nbc news
he is very angry With, putin reportedly saying if a
peace deal is not, made and IF i think it
Was russia's, Fault i'm going to put secondary sanctions On, russia.

Speaker 2 (50:13):
Which would be, good, meaning you know, what if you
are dealing With russian oil and, Gas we're going to
sanction your, nation therefore giving you an opportunity to rethink
whether or not you want to deal With russian oil and.

Speaker 35 (50:35):
Disappointed in a certain way some of the things that

credible he's supposed to be making a deal with, him
whether you like, him where you don't like.

Speaker 2 (50:50):
Him SO i wasn't happy with. That, NO i wouldn't
be happy with it. Either so now your new thing
is he doesn't have the legitimacy to do a. Deal
so the president of the country you, invaded you now
think he doesn't have the legitimate right to make a

lot more that has been very open Against, hemas which
is good to. See the reality is at this point in,
time though something needs to get. Done and at what
point you start bringing in other people who aren't part
Of hamas to start having a. Conversation, meanwhile In, asia
people are still trying to dig out of that horrific.

(52:49):
Earthquake and the. Videos i'm sure you guys have seen
tons of the. Videos they're. Everywhere it is once again
a show of force by nature showing that it will
mesh you. Up how many people have really, died especially
In myanmar and stuff like, that where getting any real
number is going to be virtually, impossible and there are
plenty of people that are still. Missing it's a race
against the.

Speaker 37 (53:08):
Clock rescuers desperately digging through rubble for any signs of
survivors after that massive seven point seven magnitude earthquake rattle
At Southeast. Asia how ful seen someday as cheers erupt
moments after the rescuers full a woman buried alive from the.
Debris across me And marth know people using their, hands

(53:28):
jackhammers and, shovels anything to free those.

Speaker 38 (53:31):
Trapped and from What i've read and seen some videos
to talk, about you can smell the death because getting
to some of these people virtually impossible at this point
in time if they're alive because they just don't have the.

Speaker 2 (53:45):
Resources and on top of, that you've got a lot
of people that were killed virtually instantly when all these
buildings and things came. Down it is. Awful three, two, three, five, three,

The Chad Benson.

Speaker 2 (54:37):
Show Gen z they get a lot of, crap right or. Wrong,
well guess. What they're in the. Workforce some of them
now are. Managers this is very. Interesting she's gone viral
talking about Gen, z talking about their work, habits talking
about the way that she sees things with the younger
generation as a.

Speaker 39 (54:58):
Manager let me tell you SOMETIMES i have to nine
time off request and why number ONE i had a
wrap text Me she's, Like, HEY i Think i'm. MISSCARING
i need to cancel the. Day how DO i submit time?
Off girl with, that go to. Doctor we're not submitting.

Speaker 26 (55:13):
Time off for.

Speaker 12 (55:13):
That absolutely.

Speaker 26 (55:14):
Not you use your time off for. Vacation this is
a medical.

Speaker 39 (55:18):
Emergency let's get you taken care.

Speaker 40 (55:20):
Of, yeah meet the new, boss not exactly the same
as the old. BOSS a twenty eight year old Gen
z Manager elizabeth beggs going super viral right now for
redefining how to be a manager for the next generation
Of american. Workers she has made waves online as she
lets her workers avoid USING pto for necessary medical, appointments

(55:41):
and this comes as Gen z appears to be facing
a personal crisis when it comes to their. JOBS a
recent survey finding four in ten GEN z workers say
they are ready to quit the nine to five and
live solely off of unemployment.

Speaker 2 (55:54):
Benefits wait, what they just want to do nothing and
sit at, home get out of. Time sounds like a
group that's working. Hard, everybody by the, way would like
to do, that but eventually they get. BORED i think
the difference between my generation and other generations, is And
i'm talking, yes even the likes of the greatest, generation

(56:17):
not a lot of them Left baby, boomers is we'd
go and lose our blank in. Mind if we sat
around all day and did, nothing WHERE i think a
younger generation would be absolutely fine doing, THAT i would go.
CRAZY i would absolutely lose my mind IF i sat
around all day and did. Nothing it drives me crazy
some days sitting around doing. Nothing and there are days

(56:38):
WHEN i do want to sit around and do, Nothing
BUT i don't THINK i could do that full. Time
they could lose my blanking. Mind but a younger generation
they have different. Needs they have different wants as we all,
know and they're approaching work in a much different way
than we.

Speaker 39 (56:56):
DID i think so much of it was just common
sense and empathy when it comes to leadership and managing a,
team something that as corporations have grown and private equity
has bought out family, companies tends to get.

Speaker 28 (57:10):
Lost.

Speaker 23 (57:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 40 (57:10):
Absolutely let me ask, you there's a common narrative that
GEN z workers are, lazy that they are. Entitled we
looked at this recent survey that found seventy five percent
of executives felt that most of the recent college grads
they hired were. Unsuccessful sixty percent said at least some
of them had to be.

Speaker 11 (57:29):
Fired do you believe that's.

Speaker 40 (57:31):
True what's your message about Gen.

Speaker 2 (57:33):
Z so now you're a manager and you're, younger you're
working with these people and you feel, like, hey they are,
misunderstood where another group is, saying, yeah, well we've been
working with them for quite a long. TIME i don't
think they. MISUNDERSTOOD i think they don't, care AND i

(57:53):
don't think they're very good at, this AND i think
they struggle with even the most basic of things like,
communication having a, conversation picking up the damn. Phone, NO
i don't.

Speaker 26 (58:04):
Believe the laziness are. Entitled it's.

Speaker 39 (58:06):
TRUE i do believe that it's a different, generation, though
and companies that don't adapt to Gen z.

Speaker 26 (58:13):
Will run out of workers.

Speaker 39 (58:14):
Eventually and that's just the same as if you didn't
and breaks the, internet you're going to see the same.
Failures they are the, consumers they are the. Employees they
are moving. UP i think a lot of people think
Gen z is nineteen eighteen young. KIDS i, mean the
reality is they're, adults they're, attorneys.

Speaker 26 (58:30):
They're, doctors their.

Speaker 39 (58:31):
Parents but addressing the laziness and, TITLEDNESS i think.

Speaker 26 (58:36):
A lot of people need to take a step back.

Speaker 39 (58:38):
And recognize that GEN z entered the workforce in a
very different time than any generation, has and every generation
has had its, struggles and it's not to downplayer to
gain any of.

Speaker 26 (58:48):
Those but the house of the cost of living.

Speaker 39 (58:51):
Crisis you look at what it costs to buy a
house and the average salary that's requiring a college, degree
a master's, three any of those does not allow you
to buy a house in most.

Speaker 26 (59:00):
Places, no it.

Speaker 2 (59:02):
Doesn't and she does have a point, there but doesn't
mean you give. Up it feels like you're just, going,
yeah you know, what you're absolutely, right cost of, living
all the stuff you've entered at a time that was.
Tough you, know the best thing for you to do,
nothing just hang, out do, nothing just give it. Up
could be the best thing in the world for. You
why do you go for? That stop?

Speaker 39 (59:22):
It the cost of college heaving has, skyrocketed so so
many of the executives when they're in older, generations if
they don't have a connection Gen z and listen to
understand and not to, judge they're not going to realize
that things are. Different, Right everyone has had their own,
struggles but it's okay to acknowledge that this generation.

Speaker 26 (59:44):
Has had some.

Speaker 39 (59:45):
Struggles and when you're putting in forty fifty hours a
week and you don't work for a company that has
any loyalty towards, You why would you be loyal to
them if you, can't mean make your rent off of.

Speaker 2 (59:57):
Pay you're, right, well DO i understand some of the
premise of, yes if they're not? Loyal, LOOK i work
in a business where loyalty only goes so, far and
it's a money based. Business and if you're not making,
money and even if you, are, LOOK i have been
with companies where hosts have been, successful both at the

(01:00:23):
ratings level and revenue. Level the problem is the company's
deem they make too much, money so they'll let them,
go or they just you, know because you may be doing,
fine but they're trying to get down to virtually no
SUSE i, mean it, sucks but that's the reality of.
It so that's why you got to do for. You

(01:00:43):
that doesn't mean giving up and sitting at home as
she's you, know as a thing suggests it is at
four and, six would just like to sit at home
and live off the government's? Dole, No and if you
want a company to share your, need then maybe you, think,

(01:01:04):
well how CAN i start my own. Gig how CAN
i get out there and do my own? Thing so
we've got our own needs that we're looking, for the
things that we, want the things that we, value et,
cetera et.

Speaker 40 (01:01:17):
CETERA i, understand you, know we do see that statistic
that we've just talked about four and ten GEN z
workers want to quit and live off of government. Assistance
tell us why four in ten are just willing to
throw in the towel they don't want to be in
this workforce.

Speaker 2 (01:01:31):
ANYMORE i WISH.

Speaker 26 (01:01:32):
I had the perfect answer to. THAT i, Don't but
that's just the kind of surprise this. Thinks that's not
something that would ever cross my.

Speaker 39 (01:01:40):
Mind BUT i think so much of that stems to
not having good cultures at, work and not being able
to survive off of the work you're, doing and seeing.

Speaker 26 (01:01:51):
No career trajectory when.

Speaker 39 (01:01:53):
It doesn't look like leadership opportunities are going to, come
or you're constantly graded by your, management it's gonna be
hard to want to stay and to have resiliency on
the bad, days but.

Speaker 2 (01:02:04):
To be constantly created by your. Management, yes every day
you should be graded by your, management your, audience your your,
everybody right if you're selling, something you go buy a
burger today From Burger. Place, ay you're kind of great in.
That did it taste good enough That i'm gonna go
back To Burger PLACE? A Or i'm gonna go back
To Burger PLACE. B everybody's graded every day in some,

(01:02:28):
way shape or. Form, otherwise how would we know what's
good and what's. Not, well we're not great to. Anybody
we're just gonna go with. Whatever, No.

Speaker 40 (01:02:38):
And in a, sentence what advice would you give to
a manager who is struggling to connect with their team
that has a lot of GEN z workers on.

Speaker 39 (01:02:45):
It just, listen ask actual, questions get to know your.

Speaker 26 (01:02:48):
TEAM i always say you can't lead who you don't.

Speaker 39 (01:02:50):
Know but if you're listening to judge or you're listening
because you assume you know the, answer you're not actually
going to be able to. Understand and you need to
create some sort of motivation to want to be a
successful member of the. Team and a lot of times
that's going to come down to understanding what their motivations,
are and they're not going to be the same as.

Speaker 2 (01:03:08):
Yours, no used to be, paycheck BUT i don't Know
now you need other, motivation and, yes cost of living's. Ridiculous.
School jack AND i were talking about this. Weekend my
son's out, Here jack and we're hanging out and he's just,
like he wants to go to trade. School he doesn't
want to come out of school a ton of. Debt
And i'm, like thank. You it's a smart. Thing plus
that trade translates and in ten years you want to

(01:03:30):
go back and be a. Lawyer the opportunities. There guess
what that trade's with you and we need. That and
one of the THINGS i always tell him, too look at.
Plumbing everybody's got a. Poop AI's not solved that issue.

money that doesn't cause, inflation doesn't cost. Anything it's just.

(01:06:27):
Magic it's magic. Money And, ikea by the, way left
a long time. Ago they wanted nothing to do With
sweden because they realized they couldn't grow their business there
because they're. Well at that time in, particular they were
very anti.

taxes have driven them. Away have fun In. Sweden. Absolutely
speaking of, fun we've got an update to the greatest

month they came out and, said, hey we're back and
we're going to be. Here well a few weeks on
those people are, like, hey we know nothing about, this but,

(01:08:30):
wait there's.

Speaker 43 (01:08:30):
More now the latest on The Fire festival reboot that
is in the. Works original was a disaster that landed
Creator billy McFarland behind. Bars now he's, Out he insists
that everything.

Speaker 30 (01:08:42):
Is on track this.

Speaker 43 (01:08:43):
Time Trevor alt is here with this. Story we know
that the location has already, changed and As Eric katirsky
aptly describe, this this one is straight out of.

Speaker 44 (01:08:51):
The Fooling One stay absolutely fool me twice, though shame on.
Me so we're approaching with a healthy dose of skepticism.
Here But firefest Founder billy McFarlane, insists so he is
a convicted, felon That firefest two is the real, deal.

Speaker 2 (01:09:04):
For real this.

Speaker 30 (01:09:05):
Time his first attempt at a massive luxury music festival
was an, astonishing fraudulent. Failure but, Overnight billy, McFarlane the
businessman Behind Fire, festival is back once, again making big,
promises this time For firefest.

Speaker 2 (01:09:20):
Two firefest. Two if you loved the first one that
nobody got to see anything of excitement outside of the
fact that it was a. Disaster no, supermodels no musical,
acts bad bad, food lots of, rain no special tents

(01:09:43):
or hotel, rooms none of. That if you love that first,
one you could have loved the second.

Speaker 11 (01:09:47):
One Fire festival two is about the life changing relationships
and building core.

Speaker 30 (01:09:52):
Memories the original twenty Seventeen firefest promised thousands of excited
concert goers a weekend of major pop music shows and luxury,
accommodations only to strand them on an island in The
bahamas With, kott's soggy cheese sandwiches and widespread, misery after
which McFarland was sentenced to six years in federal prison

(01:10:14):
for wire. Fraud now the terms of his probation keep
him from leaving Southern New, york so in A zoom
press Conference, thursday mcfarlande promised this festival will, deliver saying
it will appeal to those who wish to live Like
Jack sparrow Or Lara croft for three days and That
firefest two is about standing up for what you believe

(01:10:34):
to be.

Speaker 2 (01:10:35):
True, NOW i don't know how long he was in,
jail because we have had A Jack sparrow movie in a,
while And Laura croft, really just do you guys already
feel like this isn't a good? IDEA i feel like
it's a great. Idea and we go back to the.
Money what's this going to? Cost what are your return?

(01:10:56):
Policies we'd like to know that just in. Case by the,
way do you have any acts at? All have you announced?

Speaker 30 (01:11:02):
Anybody but there are questions about what's actually. True last,
month he claimed the festival would be held On Mexico's,
islamuharas only for officials there to, say as far as they,
knew the event didn't. Exist McFarland now says the festival
will be held In plia Del carmen two months from,
now with room for eighteen hundred guests who can choose
between several five star. Resorts he also claims there will

(01:11:26):
be forty musical, performances though so far the only one
confirmed is controversial RETIRED nfl Player Antonio, brown though it's
not clear what he would be. Performing tickets are already on,
sale with prices ranging from fourteen hundred dollars all the
way up to one point one. Million that sounds like

(01:11:46):
a good, deal.

Speaker 45 (01:11:47):
Right McFarland's business partner says the music acts are going
to be announced next. WEEK i, meantime it's been reported
the terms of the tickets do have many, stipulations including
that most of these events can be canceled and there
are no Refund.

Speaker 2 (01:11:59):
Oh, wait no. Refunds how can that? Be sounds so?
Good three, two, three, five three, eight twenty four to
twenty three At Chad Benson, show To, twitter Your, instagram
all of the other things right here on The Chad Benson.
Show people will buy this, stuff even to say they

(01:12:20):
have a, ticket because some people want that out of
somebody's gonna spend a million bucks for. Something and he
did get some people who are actual promoters to sign
on with. This so is there a possibility that this
thing may actually happen and may turn out to be?
Real it's always a. Possibility is there a likelihood, though

(01:12:42):
that this is going to be a. Disaster i'd put
this at like sixty forty. Disaster we shall see coming
up the third. HOUR a lot of stuff still to get,
to some, immigration, Tariffs, Trump, elon you know the things
that are. Happening we discussed it missing the, show the,
Podcast Chad Benson.

Speaker 1 (01:12:59):
Show this is The Chad Benson, Show The Chad Benson.

Speaker 2 (01:13:28):
Show, Tesla, Tesla, Tesla, Elon, Elon, Eline, Nazi, Nazi nazi.

Speaker 46 (01:13:36):
Fast SO i just sold My Tesla Elon's tesla and
somebody bought, it which means two people bought the exact same.
Car one car has been bought, twice has been paid for.

Speaker 2 (01:13:50):
Twice SO i didn't really do anything to stick it To.

Speaker 3 (01:13:53):
ELON i should have thought this.

Speaker 2 (01:13:55):
Through you should, have but you. Didn't that's what makes you,
you because they've been a world of, emotion so many of.
Those it's, like SO i went last weekend to A tesla,
rally right Against, tesla but it's really a rally Against.
Elon most people people wanted me to know for. Sure,
look this is not About tesla's About, elon et, cetera et.

(01:14:19):
Cetera So i'm watching this weekend and they're like line
dancing and they're doing all this, stuff like what what's the?
Point what is? It and it like at like the
two hour mark for most, places everybody was. Done they
just the minute the two hours was, up they grabbed
their stuff and they left like it was. Coordinated, ooh

(01:14:42):
speaking Of, elon the.

Speaker 16 (01:14:43):
First check goes To Nicholas.

Speaker 14 (01:14:45):
Jacobs Elon musk handed Two wisconsin voters a check for
a million dollars each last, night hours after the State
Supreme court rejected an attempt to block the. Giveaway it's
a win For musk from the very court he's trying to.
Shape he and his political action groups have spent more
than twenty million dollars on The Wisconsin Supreme court, race
must claiming the future of humanity may rest on.

Speaker 17 (01:15:07):
It it's a big.

Speaker 14 (01:15:08):
Deal tuesday's election will determine the ideological tilt of the,
court which is set to consider abortion and labor.

Speaker 2 (01:15:14):
Rights, okay that's not why it's. Important we talked about
on A, friday we give you things when others just.
Don't it's about drawing up the. Districts that's what. Matters
drawing up the. Districts because we live in a time
now jerrymandering and drawing up the, districts so you essentially

(01:15:34):
solidify yourself in such a way that you can hold
on to power for as long as you possibly. Can
and why it matters that eighty million dollars has flown
into these this race in, particular is because right now
it's a six to two lead for The republicans In.

Speaker 16 (01:15:51):
Wisconsin you, know normally an election for a judge would
not be that big of a. Deal it just so
happens that in this, case it could decide the control
of THE Us house Of.

Speaker 2 (01:16:03):
Representatives that's why it, matters not just because abortion and
union rights and. Things, no it's about drawing up the.

Speaker 16 (01:16:11):
Lines it could decide the future of The house Of.
Representatives it could decide in the future Of america and
the future of the, world.

Speaker 2 (01:16:19):
The future of the. World no. Hyperbole there eighty million
dollars for a nonpartisan. RACE i want to remind everybody
it's a non partisan. Race in. Theory there is no

(01:16:44):
r d by the people's, names but everybody knows who
the players. Are and Both soros And musk have thrown
tons of dollar bills at, it tons of dollar bills
because they recognize now with what the margins are and

(01:17:08):
they are, slim that it is important that it stay
in you, know even though it's nonpartisan in conservative hands
at The Supreme. Court so when they go and they
draw up the, lines that it continues to give them

(01:17:28):
what they. Need. FRUSTRATING i get, IT i get. It
some of you are. Frustrated everybody's. Frustrated like you, know
when it's a bad court when it goes against, you
that's what it's a bad court when it goes against.
You it's a bad. Court when it goes for, You you're, like,
well that's WHAT i. Expected and we would love to have,
this this world where it's almost like judges would be,

(01:17:53):
oracles basing any and everything only on, facts facts that
you're trying to decipher it from the constitution and. Law
but it's just as black and white and as simple as.
Possible here are the. Facts there you. Go i'm not
trying to create something out of The constitution or laws

(01:18:17):
that aren't. There but this is WHAT i think they. Meant, Now, no,
no we don't want. That speaking of something we don't, Want.

Speaker 5 (01:18:22):
I've raised a lot of money for the next.

Speaker 11 (01:18:24):
Race President trump reportedly says he's considering ways to serve
a third, term the president telling NBC's Christen, welker, quote
there are methods which you could do, it when as to,
clarify Saying i'm not, joking later adding it's far too
early to think about, it but.

Speaker 12 (01:18:39):
The president and his allies have been floating the idea
for a.

Speaker 13 (01:18:42):
Moment allowed to run. Again i'm not sure AM i
allowed to run?

Speaker 11 (01:18:44):
Again amending the constitution For trump to run a third
term would be extremely, difficult at, first requiring two thirds
approval By congress and then ratification by thirty eight.

Speaker 2 (01:18:53):
States no, no, no, no no no no, no oh no.
No do you guys get Where i'm going with?

Speaker 14 (01:19:04):
This, No trump acknowledging that he believes one of those
methods could be Having Vice PRESIDENT. Jd vance run for
president in twenty twenty eight With trump as his running,
mate and then Have vance resign So trump can stay
in the oval. Office the twenty Second amendment blocks presidents
from serving a third, term saying no person shall be
elected to office of The president more than. Twice trump

(01:19:24):
allies have claimed there's a potential loophole because the amendment
does not specify consecutive.

Speaker 2 (01:19:29):
Terms, no, no, No, No HEY. Jd we want you
to run for president and when And i'm going to
be your vice. President don't, Worry you're not going to
take a backseat to. Me then when you become, president

(01:19:50):
we want you to give it. Up the insanity of it.
All and there's a plenty of, insanity, people there. Is
there is plenty of insanity in. This this is one
of those things where you just said there and go really.

Speaker 9 (01:20:03):
Really.

Speaker 2 (01:20:05):
No AND i said it last. Hour several people chimed
in they were not happy about. It But i'll say it.
AGAIN i will campaign Against trump if he decides to
run for a third. Term it's that. SIMPLE i will
absolutely do. It everybody should do. It if you decide
to run for a third term after promising everybody you.
Wouldn't AND i do believe this is no more than a.

(01:20:27):
TROLL i will campaign against. You And i've heard a
lot of people out there say the same, thing that
this is something that cannot and should not. Happen thank
you for having common. Sense AND i think it's more
troll than anything. Else but it isn't like there isn't
people out there who are, thinking, hmm, well what can we?
Do how can we be a part of. This what

(01:20:49):
can we? Dooo how about, no, no, no. No speaking
of no no more illegal, immigration that was what so
many people, Said, hey we want no more illegal. Immigration
and lo and, Behold trump came in and without having

(01:21:11):
to change all the, laws without having TO i need
all of these bills, passed the border for the most
part completely. Shut nobody's coming. In people are, leaving but
nobody's coming. In last, week on the twenty, seventh there
was a comparison from the year. Before in, total the

(01:21:34):
year before there was almost forty three hundred people that
came across that were, apprehended two hundred and twenty five
this year and ninety four percent. Drop so obviously people
are getting a message and that is. Huge that's a.
Win now that being, said there are people out there

(01:21:54):
that are, pissed they're, upset they're. Angry they want a
situation where people that are here, illegally who've done, nothing
have the opportunity to, stay and they're making their voices
heard across the, country Including. Dallas The people.

Speaker 8 (01:22:10):
Un around fifteen thousand people carried banners through the streets
of Downtown dallas at a demonstration organized by The league
Of United Latin American CITIZENS Lulac National President Domingo.

Speaker 2 (01:22:21):
Garcia people are not afraid. Anymore people are standing up
and we're gonna start up with what The statue of
liberty stands.

Speaker 8 (01:22:26):
For garcia is pushing for policies that create a pathway
to allow immigrants to stay in the. Country there you,
go how so s out of? Curiosity what are you gonna?
Do how are you gonna get people to stay in the.

Speaker 2 (01:22:38):
Country you? Lost you lost because the people that had
the bully, pulpit the people that were running everything the
last four, years allowed tens of millions of people into
this country illegally by the abuse of our asylum process

(01:22:58):
and turned it into a wide, open open. Borders come
on in and tell us what you. Like and because of,
That america spoke and, said we want no part of.
That we Want zerio part of what it is that
you are doing. Now it doesn't mean With trump and

(01:23:22):
the take on so much of the, stuff including what's
going on with, immigration and let's be, honest there's a
lot of stuff to talk about when it comes to.
Immigration what is going on with the likes Of Mamood
khalil and many other people who are having some serious,
questions including, myself by the, way over immigration and what

(01:23:47):
is going down with some of these people that have been.
Taken i'd like to know what's. HAPPENING i want. Transparency
we should all want. Transparency are we getting? TRANSPARENCY i
don't think we are in some. Cases, Now remember AN
f one, visa not Like formula, one but JUST f.

bunch of other. Things And friday My sun came, In
so that's always nice To Big jack. Here and why

(01:29:21):
are the bats driving people? Crazy not the bats that?
Fly the new Torpedo bats designed by a guy FROM
mit that The yankees are using The. Yankees The yankees.

Speaker 14 (01:29:33):
At the center of the controversy the so called torpedo,
bat which Some yankee players are using this. Season the
bats are designed to have more wood in the sweet
spot where the batter most often makes contact with the,
ball giving them their distinct. Bulge each player using a
torpedo bat has the bulge in the spot suited to.
Them the bat was developed by a Former yankees coach
who also happens to be a former physics professor with

(01:29:54):
a doctorate FROM. Mit Major League baseball says the bat
is in compliance with league, rules so there's no things
stopping other teams from using.

Speaker 2 (01:30:01):
It, no it's. Not and over the, weekend if you
saw The yankees hit a lot of home. RUNS i
think they had nine home runs in the last two
days and it was a. Barrage they scored twenty runs
On saturday against The Milliwalk. Egg we scored another twelve.
Yesterday they were on. Fire and the bats look kind

(01:30:22):
of they just look, cool so you, know it's like
a regular, bat little, thinner and then you get to
where your sweet spot is and it's just. Bigger so
they haven't done anything, wrong but people are, like we
got to get rid of. This stop. It stop trying
to fix something that's not. Broken if they're not breaking the,
rules and according to, them they're not breaking the, rules
don't put something in that, says, well these rules have, changed,

(01:30:43):
right make baseball more. Exciting you've besting these. Show we

Speaker 2 (01:31:18):
Show this is everything you need to know about the
insanity of The democrats and all the things That Ezra
Kleine Derek thompson in their new book is talking about
about getting stuff done in a place where they live
and breathe for, agencies, bureaucracies rules on top of rules

(01:31:43):
on top of rules that are, needless making your life.
Miserable good.

Speaker 47 (01:31:47):
Morning, so just a handful Of Los angeles residents have
received approval to begin rebuilding their homes as of last.
Week according to The Los Angeles, times the first permit
issued was submitted to city inspectors On february. Seventeenth it
was Approved march, fifth about two months after the fire
swept through The Pacific palisades and surrounding. Area destroying or

(01:32:09):
seriously damaging more than six thousand. Homes the first permit
was for repairs to a fire damaged. Home at least
two other permits have been approved for a full home.
Rebuild and while these first few permits are being touted
by The Los Angeles Mayor Karen bass as a milestone
in the city's, recovery local leaders and residents are criticizing

(01:32:29):
the slow. Process council Member Tracy park said it was
concerning that only four permits had been issued as Of
march twenty, fourth saying, QUOTE i don't think it's a
lack of interest in. REBUILDING i suspect it is indicative
of systemic.

Speaker 2 (01:32:44):
Issues systemic issues, indeed because It's california And california lives
to do one, thing regulate you to the point where
you no longer want to be a part Of California.
Ia this Past, friday Well more had On Gavin newsom
took them straight the task over the insanity of what

(01:33:06):
is happening in a place Like. California and this is
indicative of The democrats across the. Board we'll get in
deeper to that in a.

Speaker 28 (01:33:14):
SECOND i appreciate your making the time you must be
very busy a, podcast your, governor you're running for. President
but let's talk about what's. Important my roof after the. Fire,
yes a new. Roof two INSPECTIONS i needed to. Have
why it's my.

Speaker 2 (01:33:28):
Roof if it falls on my, head that's my. Problem
why DO i need two inspections WHICH i have to pay?

Speaker 28 (01:33:34):
For, yeah you were here last time we talked about.
Regulations you, said, oh it's a completely new.

Speaker 48 (01:33:39):
Day a very condemning picture of liberal governance in this
country and the fact that we are process focused and
not outcome. Focused and your demonstrable example of that is
relates to what you've tried to do with your damn
roof for the last fifteen. Years and so it's our
job to eliminate as many of those.

Speaker 2 (01:33:57):
Thickets how's that? Going though as, possible it's. Not it's
not going as you just, heard all of those, fires
six thousand, homes and by the, way not all of
them are full. Rebuilts there are things we've. Heard our
Buddy Jim kennedy come on here and talk about the
fact that even to remove stuff from your yard you
need a. Permit and if you don't have the, permit

(01:34:19):
you know the stamped in the right, place you don't
get it. Done it is apse of freaking lutely. Insane
NOW i want you to listen to. This this Is
ezra clined on last week With John stewart on his
podcast talking about how hard it is to get anything

(01:34:40):
done through. Bureaucracy as we talk About doge and all
this kind of, stuff the insanity of which it takes
to get anything done through bureaucracy is far worse than
you can. Imagine do you remember The Build Back, better
The Inflation Reduction, act all of these, things all this
great stuff that was going to come, out all this

(01:35:01):
money pumped into. It, hey we're gonna get rural broadband
to people in the middle of, nowhere so they're gonna
have the opportunity to have high speed internet. Access, oh no,
way are you kidding? Me that's? Great this should be. Easy,
wrong because you're gonna need your walking. Shoes why because
there's fourteen, steps fourteen governmental, steps which means years of

(01:35:24):
crap to go. Through Anya, mark get set, Go.

Speaker 49 (01:35:27):
Ezra we have to issue the notice finding opportunity with
one hundred and eighty. Days that's step, One step, two
which all fifty sixty applicants completed Is states who want
to participate must submit a letter of. Intent after they do,
that they can submit a request for up to five
million dollars in planning. Grants then THE Ntia step four

(01:35:49):
has to review and to prove and award again planning,
grants not broadband, grants planning.

Speaker 2 (01:35:56):
Grants and it's still at THE.

Speaker 42 (01:35:57):
Ntia it's still at the first.

Speaker 49 (01:36:00):
All, Right so THE NTIA mustachuofo within one hundred and eighty.
Days states who want to participate must submit their letter of.
Intent step, three they can request up to five million
dollars in planning, grants.

Speaker 2 (01:36:12):
Just, planning just.

Speaker 49 (01:36:13):
Planning step, four the requests are, reviewed, approved and awarded
by THE, ndia which currently all fifty. Six you, know
three years, later all fifty six applicants had passed through
at least step.

Speaker 2 (01:36:27):
Five, okay do you see where we're going with? This
this is we're just getting. Started. People there are fifty six, places, right,
counties cities and whatnot that have applied for, this so
fifty six of. THEM i want you to keep track of.
This we're starting at fifty six and we're just starting
to get.

Speaker 49 (01:36:46):
Going it took at least it took more than three,
years so it's a long. Time states must submit a
five year action. Plan so the states kind of go
back and they kind of think about how they're going
to do, this and they don't just, Say, okay you,
know thank you for the, money we're going to spend.
It you can see how it worked. Out, later we're,
like here's our five year action. Plan then THE fcc

(01:37:07):
must publish the broadband data maps BEFORE ntia allocates. Funds
so having done THE, nofo the letters of, intent the
requests for planning, grants then the, review approval and awarding
of the planning, grants then the five year action. Plans
in between, that the federal government has to put forward
a map saying where it thinks we need rural broadband.

(01:37:30):
Subsidies and then of course the states need an opportunity
to challenge the map for. Accuracy and you can imagine
this doesn't all happen in like a.

Speaker 2 (01:37:38):
Day, okay, okay you think we're nowhere near being, Done
i've got so many more of these play we're just getting.
Rolling this is for you want to know why we
haven't built. Anything you want to know why the bridges aren't.
Finished you want to know why they haven't started building
any of those electric car chargers like they, thought are
rural broadbands? Anywhere this is? Why so then THE.

Speaker 49 (01:38:01):
Ntia step seven has to use THE fcc maps to
make allocation. Decisions, then having already done their letter of
intent the requests for planning. Grants it's hard even to
talk about this. Man step seven IS ntia must use
THE fcc maps that were already challenged for allocation. Decisions,
then having submitted all, THIS i think this one is

(01:38:22):
actually quite, amazing having submitted their five year plans or
letters of. Intent step eight is states must submit an
initial proposal an initial proposal to THE.

Speaker 42 (01:38:34):
Ntia then is that the result of their five million
dollar planning?

Speaker 2 (01:38:38):
Fund but then what was the five year? Plan and
what the food did they apply? For my, god you're, thinking,
wait hold on a, second right like, that that seems
like it's it's. Insane we're nowhere near getting anything. Done
i've got so many more to. Play let's get to.

Speaker 49 (01:38:54):
It what was their? Noteball like if the five year action?
Plan is it the initial? Proposal and what's the five here?

Speaker 4 (01:39:00):
At?

Speaker 28 (01:39:01):
Yet?

Speaker 49 (01:39:01):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:39:01):
Fuck?

Speaker 49 (01:39:02):
Fuck step, NINE ntia must review and approve each states
again initial. Proposal by my, read we have had at
least two initial.

Speaker 26 (01:39:11):
Proposals.

Speaker 49 (01:39:11):
Here step, ten states must publish their own map and
allow internal challenges to their own. Map so the government
has published a, map they have invited the states to
challenge the. Map then states have submitted initial proposals and
they then have to publish their own map and allow.

Speaker 2 (01:39:29):
Challenges, wait who's challenging it within the?

Speaker 49 (01:39:31):
State, well you, know organized interest, groups environmental group LIKE
i don't know who, specifically but any, literally.

Speaker 2 (01:39:37):
Anybody, literally, anybody, literally. Anybody we're not even. Done he's.
Exhausted we're all. Exhausted somebody designed, This somebody put this.
Together somebody thought this would be a great, idea will
make people do so many damn different. Things you want
to know why government is. Ridiculous, bureaucracy, bureaucracy. Bureaucracy do
we need some? Bureaucrats of course we. Do, said if

(01:40:01):
it takes you five to ten years to decide whether
or not you can put broadband in, somewhere maybe you
just go and get a star. LINK i want to
say something because it's very.

Speaker 49 (01:40:09):
IMPORTANT i say. This this is The biden administration's process
for its own. Bill they wanted this to. Happen this
is how liberal government. Works, now this.

Speaker 42 (01:40:18):
Is something they instituted for this, bill for their.

Speaker 49 (01:40:23):
Bill this is a bill By democrats with a regulatory
structure written by democratic.

Speaker 26 (01:40:29):
Administration, okay, Right.

Speaker 2 (01:40:33):
I'm, exhaust so listen to. It hey.

Speaker 49 (01:40:35):
Done step, eleven THE ntia must review and improve the
challenge results and the final. Map so THE ncaa has
put forward a, map the states have challenged that. Map
then the states have put forward their, maps had other,
challenges and now THE ntia must review and approve the
challenges to the state. Maps, okay so step we've. Done step,

(01:40:55):
ELEVEN ntia must review and approve challenge results and final.
Map we've lost nine of the applicants at that, point lost.

Speaker 2 (01:41:03):
Nine so we started with fifty. Six we lost. Nine
how are we?

Speaker 49 (01:41:07):
Doing step Twelve states must run a competitive sub granting.

Speaker 28 (01:41:13):
Proposse oh my fucking.

Speaker 42 (01:41:14):
God at step, twelve by after all this has been, Done.

Speaker 49 (01:41:18):
Yeah none of that could have happened along the way
here we have now lost seventeen more. Applicants so now
thirty of fifty six have Completed step.

Speaker 2 (01:41:27):
Twelve thirty of fifty. Six SO i want you this is.
Important thirty of fifty, six and they're pissed off at
The trump administration because they're not ready to blow this thing.
Up say this is.

Speaker 49 (01:41:37):
Ridiculous step, thirteen states must submit a final. Proposal all
the proposals weren't enough TO. Ntia now that goes to
three of fifty. Six so we've gone in the last
couple of steps from fifty six had gone to this
point to three of fifty. Six step, fourteen THE ntia
must review and approve the state's final, proposal and that

(01:42:00):
is three of the fifty six jurisdictions and states are.
There in, summary colon states are nearly at the finish,
line and it says to stop their progress, now or,
worse to make them go, backwards would be a stick
in the spokes of the most promising broadband deployment plans

(01:42:20):
we have ever, see and to See.

Speaker 42 (01:42:24):
I'm, speechless as honestly, like it's a far worse THAN
i could have. Imagined but the fact that they amputated
their own legs on this is what's so, stunning is?

Speaker 2 (01:42:38):
It you live In, California you, know you live in
any of these liberal blue cities or blue states where they.
Overregulate this is. Insane this is why nobody wants to
deal with. You this is why WHEN i moved To
Palm springs AND i was there for what like six
years or eight years or whatever it, was they were

(01:42:59):
redoing an overpass to open it, up to have it
you can get on on either side and you can
exit from either side kind of. Thing right, then after
what's seven eight, years it wasn't done. Yet the overpass
was already. There you could get on from one, side
you can get off from the other. Side it was already.

(01:43:19):
There this is, Why this is Why california spent a
gazillion dollars to build a choot you train that has
sixteen hundred feet of track at a tune of twenty
three billion. Dollars it might as well be gold those tracks.
Are this is why you've got four people that have

(01:43:44):
plans approved after their houses have burned down In california
and it's still taking, forever and you're champion the fact
that it's taking months and months and months and. Months
