Speaker 1 (00:11):
The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (00:13):
Tarriffs, tariffs, tariffs. You get a tariff, you get a tariff. No,
hold on, no, I'm taking that back. No you no, yes,
but not now. But maybe over here you guys get
a tariff for sure. You China, You're getting all kinds
of tariffs. We're gonna tearf for palooza. You be prepared
ge lots of tariffing going on, but then not really,
(00:36):
but then kind of, but then maybe, but then not
really but yes, and then no, And it's, uh, how
do you how do people feel about it?
Speaker 3 (00:44):
So now everything's magically delicious?
Speaker 4 (00:46):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (00:47):
Uh? Not the case.
Speaker 5 (00:48):
I mean, look at this, tariffs of ten percent or
more on trading partners, favor thirty nine percent, opposition way
up there, fifty seven percent. And of course these tariffs
are still in place. Pl just because you removed some
of them didn't mean he removed all of them.
Speaker 6 (01:03):
You know.
Speaker 5 (01:04):
It was almost as if, well, I did it a
little something good, so everything's gonna be okay. I don't
think the American public's going to necessarily feel that way,
because there is big opposition to one of the biggest
TIFFs that still remains in effect.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
Here's a question, what's the endgame? What is the endgame
to all of this? So China hit us again today
on us imports, raise it two hundred and twenty five percent.
I'm sure they're math math better than our math did.
But what is the endgame? Because I've asked a lot
(01:40):
of people, are gonna talk to our buddy zach Abram
a little bit later chievestment officer or Borg and ask
him what's the endgame? Like, what is the the and
look like as far as trade with China? Is there
any end? Is it complete decoupling? I mean, these are
(02:04):
questions that you know we're by We not just America,
but all of us are great at getting into stuff,
awful at getting out. We don't really nail the dismounts
as much as we'd like to think we do. So
what's going to be the end game? Is the goal
(02:25):
to completely decouple from China, which I would have zero
problems with. If that's the goal. Is the goal to
get all the other nations to decouple from China, What
is the the end of this? What does it look like?
Because just getting rid of tariffs, we're still gonna buy
(02:46):
their goods. They're still gonna make money. We can go
on and on about that, but what is the end goal?
And then as you start to hear our buddy Harry
Anton over there at CNN, the polls say a lot
of different things. People are worried, and you're also going
to make things like decisions based on politics, maybe not
what's best in the end goal, because to get to
(03:11):
that end, you're still gonna have to have some control.
And we know that politics could change to the point
where if we get not just a few bumps in
the road, but we go into a recession, all of
a sudden, you're looking at maybe your party loosing seats.
(03:35):
You no longer have the House and the Senate, and
that end goal you dreamed of, whatever it is, isn't
gonna come to fruition because you're gonna spend in the
next upteen months fighting off everything. Al Green's back at it,
congress Person's saying the march towards impeachment is beginning. So
(03:56):
it's it's crazy.
Speaker 5 (03:58):
One of the reasons why you say the opposition to
Tariff's like this, as folks are afraid that prices are
gonna go up, right, And I guess the Consumer Index
report was a pretty decent piece of news. But this
is the number one economic fear, right when you'll ask him,
what's your.
Speaker 3 (04:12):
Number one economic fear?
Speaker 5 (04:14):
Number one, by far is the cost of goods at
forty seven percent, Right, we're still coming off those highs
on inflation number costs. It's housing costs number three. Then
you finally get to the stock market seventeen. Now that's
not too shabby, right, but it's nowhere near the forty
seven percent who say the cost of goods is the
number one economic word. If prices go up, Donald Trump's
(04:34):
approval rating will go.
Speaker 2 (04:36):
Down absolutely, which means as he goes, because he's such
a power, he'll drag the Republicans with him. And that's
the fear of Yes, I'm glad he's taking it on,
but I'd like to know what the endgame is because
I don't feel like the endgame is completely decoupling. So
(04:59):
if that's not going to be the end game, what
exactly does it look like? Because China is not going
to change who they are, and you're going to Now
you're going to put somebody into a corner gee who
knows he can't win long term, and so when you
back him into a corner, what does he do, how
(05:21):
does he react? And will go from a trade ward
or something more? Very interesting? I know, right, I asked
some questions out there. I've thought about it for the
last couple of days about the end game in this
what does it look like? And one of the things
that you know, and I'm going to talk later to
(05:42):
Zach about our investment officer that we have on all
the time talking about the financial world, is is do
you feel like this thing was done in a way
that was there was no cohesion. It just felt like
they just threw a bunch of things out there.
Speaker 7 (05:58):
I think the scary thing were the US economy and
the global economy. Was not that Donald Trump showed up
as tariff man. He's often talked about that. It was
that it was not done in any strategic or coherent way.
It was kind of a flat earth tariff man. And
(06:20):
I think what started to happen over three or four
days was the administration reached its pain point on several levels.
Speaker 2 (06:29):
Scott Messent played a huge role in the reversal of stuff,
because when the market falls like that and the bond
market falls like that, there was definitely panic there, definitely.
Speaker 7 (06:47):
Panic, the pain point of people getting their four to
oh one case statements and seeing they maybe had fifteen
to twenty percent less than they did in December, the
pain point of hearing recession estimates going from ten percent
to twenty thirty to over sixty percent to people like
(07:08):
JP Morgan saying they're more likely. And then this kind
of loss of consumer confidence and job approval, which is
bad for the economy but also SAPs a president's power,
and you could feel Republicans starting to stand up to him.
Speaker 2 (07:28):
It's going to be interesting to see what happens. And again,
I'm my biggest question, and maybe some of you might
throw some stuff out there, is what is the endgame?
I've thought it through fifty different ways, and I'm not
quite sure I know what the endgame is. I understand
why you're trying to, you know, use tariffs on other
(07:50):
countries as leverage, and I understand it's it's a mono
amano between US and China, But is it full decouple?
Is I mean, what is the goal here? Is it
just freezing them out and going back to a regular
old cold war? I don't know. I don't know. Three two, three, five,
(08:11):
three eight twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson
Show is your Twitter tweet at his text to program yesterday,
STIs spoke and Scota says, Hey, that guy from l Salvador. Yeah,
you need to bring him home.
Speaker 8 (08:20):
He was wrongly sent to El Salvador, to that prison
that we've heard so much of art about with a
history of human rights abuses. He was detained in this country.
He is an alleged gang member. He denies those affiliations.
Those facts aren't in dispute, but an immigration court here
in the United States had explicitly said he was not
to be returned to El Salvador for fears of threats
(08:43):
to his life. That, of course has now happened, and
the Supreme Court in no uncertain terms said that action
was illegal.
Speaker 2 (08:52):
So Supreme Court spoke, you got to bring this cat home.
You can argue when he's here about all of the stuff.
Is he a gang member, isn't he a gang member, etc.
But there was a court order already that he was
(09:13):
not to be removed. So now you got to go
get him.
Speaker 8 (09:17):
We do know his family. His attorneys have said they
expect him to come back to the United States.
Speaker 9 (09:23):
Remember, he is not going to be just let.
Speaker 8 (09:24):
Loose in the United States as as someone that was
under or withholding order. But again, this was about righting
a a legal wrong, a moral wrong, and standing up
for due process of law and fill the Supreme Court
unanimously did just that.
Speaker 2 (09:39):
The question, though, is can we get him back?
Speaker 10 (09:42):
You have to facilitate him getting back because the man
is in the custody of another country.
Speaker 11 (09:46):
Right, And I think part of what is animating that
decision is that it's hard for the United States to
compel a foreign country to do anything. So part of
the I think what's behind the Court's ruling is can
they actually get el salvator to get the person back?
Now they can direct the government to quote unquote facilitate
his you bring him back to the United States.
Speaker 2 (10:05):
But that's that's sort of fuzzy.
Speaker 11 (10:07):
If there's any Supreme Court loves to do, Jake, it's
to kick things down to lower courts so that they
don't have to make a decision on it. And they're
sort of leaving the dirty work to the court.
Speaker 2 (10:15):
But you know, I mean, can we get him back?
I think the we make a phone call. Trump's got
that kind of relationship, he can get that done. I
think he can, but you forget, he's an El Salvadorian
citizen and they can hold him. There's nothing that says
(10:40):
that he's ours. So you have to get him right back.
Speaker 10 (10:43):
So the administration has been saying, you know, you can't
tell El Salvador what to do, whereas I think a
lot of people who are on the other side of this,
I think you, of course you can.
Speaker 2 (10:55):
You have this deal with El salvad or.
Speaker 3 (10:57):
You're giving them money.
Speaker 10 (10:58):
They're taking American prisoners of the Trump and the president
of El Salvador, of this great relationship. He's actually coming
to the White House on Monday. Of course you can.
They could have used stronger language than the Supreme Court they said,
have said you have to do everything in your power.
Speaker 11 (11:11):
Right they did, They did not, And in fact, the
agreement struck with Al Salvador said there was this weird
language of holding onto them while the government figures out
their final disposition or whatever, leaving open the question that
maybe they're just temporarily in El Salvador. So yes, they
could actually try to get them back.
Speaker 2 (11:28):
We'll find out if that happens. And this is why
I continue to say for everybody out there you measure twice,
sometimes three times, to cut once. Get it right three, two, three, five,

Speaker 2 (13:10):
It is that time of week where we take a
deep breath and listen to the sounds of this past
week chaos, the craziness, and the beauty. You made a
dire wolf. Over ten thousand years ago. A howl was
lost to time, but today it returned.
Speaker 12 (13:32):
The technology is here and signedist say it could shape
the future of our ecosystem.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
I'm not one hundred dollars walking me my hole. I

Speaker 13 (13:44):
Right through my pocketing and do my skin come on

Speaker 2 (14:05):
Oh that skin has any stares he stores Alex.
Speaker 13 (14:10):
So that's good score Saint ninety five.
Speaker 14 (14:14):
Because we have a couple of senators here, I just
don't particularly like them, so I won't introduce.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
I love this guy, love it the hell that is.
Speaker 13 (14:22):
It's fine, man free, I'm not my mother again, It's fine.
Speaker 2 (14:31):
Dam.
Speaker 13 (14:33):
Burn then tuck me come.
Speaker 15 (14:36):
There's only one confirmed act. That's Antonio Brown, former NFL
star and left the field without a shirt one time.
Speaker 4 (14:43):
Because a lot of times, you guys think that anything
that you want is a human right. News flash, that's
not how it works.
Speaker 16 (14:50):
Made an author of letting her friend keep the child
to exchange for above hurt.
Speaker 13 (14:55):
My hand in fine, judy, any wonder about them? A
windy airth slowly junity funny, I'll do my owner of fay.
Speaker 2 (15:10):
I'm a freak.
Speaker 13 (15:16):
Time forget.
Speaker 2 (15:21):
How much could these tariffs cost Americans?
Speaker 17 (15:24):
We are on the verge now because the President Trump
strengthen leadership of fixing our entire global trading system.
Speaker 18 (15:30):
And don't let some of these follows used to go
around saying, you know, because I'm telling you, these countries
are calling this up, kissing.
Speaker 2 (15:37):
My ass every week seems like a year three two, three, five,
three eight, twenty four, twenty three at Chad Benson Show.
Is your act your Instagram right here in the Chad
Benson Show. Be cool, it's going to work out.
Speaker 6 (15:51):
It's gonna work out, and it's it's working out, I
can tell you, working out.
Speaker 2 (15:56):
Maybe faster than I thought. Jumping a little bit out
of line and they were getting yippy, you know, they're
getting a little bit yippy, a little bit afraid. What
a week right there. You know what's interesting is with
all the tariff stuff going on, with all of the
other stuff that's happening, Iran and the United States are
(16:17):
going to have conversations this weekend about, you know, nuclear stuff.
Speaker 19 (16:23):
President Trump really shocked the world earlier this week when
he announced that these were going to be direct, face
to face talks, because ever since he left the JCPOA, everything,
all communication with Iran has been indirect.
Speaker 1 (16:39):
There's always an intermediary.
Speaker 2 (16:42):
And they are so close to getting a bomb. Something's
got to be done.
Speaker 19 (16:47):
The stark reality is Iran has never been closer to
a nuclear weapon. Experts pretty much cross the board agreed
that Iran could have enough fissile material to manufacture multiple
new your weapons if it wanted, in just a matter
of one.
Speaker 2 (17:03):
To two weeks now, as we've talked about delivering that
the payload and being able to deliver it on some
sort of missile. That's a different story. But they're closer
than ever before. And if something doesn't get done sooner
rather than later, you're gonna see probably Israel along with us,
(17:23):
do something about it. Goodness me, things are getting a
little hot, is what I'm saying. Not just humid, but hot.
Coming up. The Wheel of Surprise.
Speaker 13 (17:34):
It's one of our.
Speaker 2 (17:34):
Favorite things we do here. It's a Chad Benson Joe
Sun Chad Benson Joe.
Speaker 1 (18:00):
The Chad Benson Show, one of our favorite times of
the week.
Speaker 2 (18:05):
It's called Wheel Surprise. This is where we spin the
wheel and we pick a story based on the number. Now,
I've read most of these stories, but some of them
maybe I've not read, so I'm going to react to them.
On other thing that's interesting is there is no I
don't know what the stories are though, so it's just
kind of a blind chance that we talk about something.
(18:28):
So we'd have a little fun with this. Ladies and gentlemen,
the Wheel of Surprise, Round and round.
Speaker 20 (18:38):
She doos.
Speaker 21 (18:46):
Number seven after serving a seven day suspension, Towson High
School senior Parker Jensen returned to class on Tuesday and
ready to fight back.
Speaker 22 (19:00):
I think it's very important, and mister Jensen feels the
same way.
Speaker 21 (19:03):
Sarah Spotnik is a Baltimore based attorney who just filed
this lawsuit against Baltimore County Public Schools, America's twenty second
largest school system with a nearly three billion dollar budget.
Speaker 22 (19:17):
I would definitely say it's some kind of bullying.
Speaker 21 (19:19):
Spotonic claims in the complaint filed on April third that
BCPs acted unlawfully when it suspended Jensen for a week.
Do you believe Jensen's constitutional rights were violated?
Speaker 22 (19:33):
Absolutely?
Speaker 2 (19:33):
I'm joining the Marine Corps so and patriotism has always
been a big thing in mind. Now you're thinking, what
did this kid do? Why do you hear this? This
has all to do with the American Flag project.
Speaker 21 (19:44):
Baltimore broke the news on Monday, yes that on March
twenty eighth, Sir Jensen withdrew from his class and drove
to the Baltimore County Board of Education building hoping to
speak with district leadership about missing American flags at Towson
Highs School.
Speaker 2 (20:00):
I believe that this is the main entrance.
Speaker 21 (20:02):
According to the Baltimore County School Board Policy sixty three
oh seven and Maryland Education Code seven to one oh five,
an American flag must be displayed in each classroom, but
Jensen said some classrooms at Towson High did not have flags,
so he went to the Board of Education to find
out why and recorded much of his visit.
Speaker 23 (20:24):
No, I have a tows in high school and crossert
all I have my student ninety.
Speaker 21 (20:30):
But Jensen did not get answers. Instead, BCPs called the police.
Speaker 1 (20:35):
Three cock cars for a kid, and the.
Speaker 2 (20:37):
Eighteen year old was told by Richard Mooth.
Speaker 24 (20:41):
You're actually suspended from the school.
Speaker 2 (20:43):
The school safety emergency manager.
Speaker 21 (20:45):
That he was immediately suspended for seven days.
Speaker 2 (20:50):
What insane? And again three cop cars really for a kid?
He has all of his stuff, He's got his badge,
the whole nine yard, just kids. Why don't we have
these flags? And it's just a question, it's a fair question.
Speaker 22 (21:03):
He was summarily suspended without any due process. Whatshowever, which
every student in Baltimore County and Maryland has the right
and they strict him of that within five seconds.
Speaker 21 (21:14):
Baltimore County Public Schools declined to comment on the lawsuits,
but BCPs did tell Fox forty five News in an
earlier email. As of April, first flags have been installed
in the classrooms that did not have them. In the lawsuit,
Jensen asked for his suspension to be vacated, along with
(21:34):
monetary relief from BCPs for damages Spotonic fears the suspension
could negatively affect Jensen's grades and future. Jensen is set
to report for Marine boot camp in August. Yes, sir,
but if he decided after serving in the Marines to
go to college, this high school suspension could affect his
(21:57):
college application.
Speaker 22 (21:58):
We're still pushing to make sure that he has the
most successful and active senior year he possibly can.
Speaker 2 (22:05):
This guy's gonna end up being a mega hero, you
know that, a mega mega.
Speaker 21 (22:08):
Hero, because there's one more aspect to this. As of now,
because of his suspension, Jensen cannot attend the senior prom
which is scheduled for mid May. If the lawsuit is
successful and the suspension is vacated, he can attend.
Speaker 22 (22:27):
He got suspended for very little cause he did nothing
wrong besides try to bring forth his first Amendment right
and really enforce a Maryland law which is to have
American flags in every single classroom.
Speaker 21 (22:39):
When the police were called on Jensen at the Board
of Education building on March twenty eighth, BCPs threatened to
charge him with trespassing, but as of today, that charge
has not been filed.
Speaker 2 (22:53):
Going to be interesting to see what happens here. No
doubt though, this is going to become a much bigger
story in the coming days and weeks because some of
the bigger right leaning outlets are going to pick it up.
But come on, he went there to ask for flags
in the room, which you're supposed to have, and you
(23:14):
suspend him. That's ridiculous. It's the wheel of surprise Number one.
Speaker 20 (23:35):
The seventy year old Winfield woman, investigators say may have
fostered more than two hundred children's facing charges related to
child abuse, and Lincoln County.
Speaker 5 (23:45):
Prosecutors are looking into an allegation that she offered to
trade one child for a monkey.
Speaker 2 (23:50):
What you heard that?
Speaker 6 (23:52):
Right?
Speaker 2 (23:53):
This foster mom, not a good one by the way,
who's obviously using the kids specifically to get money, not
interested in actually being a motherly figure to these children, thought,
(24:14):
you know what, I could use a monkey? Who's got
a monkey?
Speaker 16 (24:19):
Authorities are also looking into an allegation that when the
child was sent to Texas, Deutsch made an offer of
letting her friend keep the child in exchange for a monkey.
Speaker 25 (24:29):
We'll have to do some deeper dives into hopefully their
communications to see if that trade was actually for consideration,
if that was for the purposes of human trafficking. And
we don't know that yet, but it is an allegation
that's out there that we need to look into.
Speaker 2 (24:44):
What an awful human being. You are the worst person,
and she had so many foster kids. It is just
disgusting you're going to trade a child. First of all,
you've got a foster child and you've into somewhere else,
and then you're like, nah, you got a monkey. I
(25:07):
do happen to have a monkey? Would you like it?
Can I keep the kid? Nut jobs? I hope you
get forever in jail. The wheel of surprise number ten
(25:35):
shut that off.
Speaker 26 (25:36):
Judges on a New York State appeals court, we're not
pleased after realizing that a plaintiff was using an AI
generated avatar to argue his case.
Speaker 2 (25:44):
May it please the court?
Speaker 21 (25:45):
I come here today a humble proceedings for a panel
of five distinguished justices.
Speaker 1 (25:49):
Hold on, is that counsel for the case?
Speaker 9 (25:52):
I generated that?
Speaker 2 (25:53):
I'm sorry I generated that. That is not a real person, dude,
use an AI. The judges don't seem to be thrilled
by this.
Speaker 9 (26:04):
That is not a real person.
Speaker 1 (26:07):
Okay, it would have been nice to know that when
you made your application.
Speaker 2 (26:12):
Okay. I don't appreciate being misled.
Speaker 9 (26:15):
So either you are suffering from an ailment that prevents
you from being able to articulate, or you don't.
Speaker 2 (26:24):
She is not happy. Holy moly, she's angry.
Speaker 20 (26:30):
I don't.
Speaker 2 (26:32):
Do you have to tell them using AI as your attorney.
I'm not quite sure. I don't know if there's a
rule that you have to tell them that AI is
going to be representing you.
Speaker 26 (26:46):
Court record show that Jerome D. Wald didn't have a
lawyer to represent him in an employment dispute to Wald
later apologized in writing to the court, saying he hadn't
intended any harm. Originally, he tried to generate a digital
replica that looked like him, but he's unable to complish that.
Before the hearing, he said he hoped the AI avatar
would deliver a more polished argument without stumbling over words
(27:06):
or mumbling.
Speaker 1 (27:07):
If you want to have oral argument time, you may
stand up and give it to me.
Speaker 3 (27:12):
Shut that off.
Speaker 20 (27:15):
He is pissed off.
Speaker 2 (27:18):
Shut that off. You're getting a deut penalty. It's like
it's just a speeding ticket. Oh my god, it's just
a spading ticket, ma'am.
Speaker 3 (27:28):
That right.
Speaker 2 (27:28):
There was the wheel of surprise, the whole thing about,
and there's the AI attorney. But this is gonna happen.
This is going to happen soon, and we may get
AI judges sooner rather than later, especially and I know
they've tried him in some places, but at some point
(27:52):
in time they're probably gonna have AI judges on low
civil misdemeanor cases. The oracles. If you will the oracles,
you'll have to opt into it. But I bet it
(28:14):
happens sooner rather than later. Three two, three, five, three eight,

(29:42):
A lot of stuff still to get to, including a
disaster yesterday at the Masters that is not record breaking,
but it's embarrassing. We're going to talk a little bit
about that. Also, big big words from RFK Junior about autism.
We're going to talk a little bit about that as well.
(30:03):
If you're mentioning the show, we say, shame on you
grab the podcast. It is the Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 1 (30:14):
Welcome to CHESH No, not the country, the institution, The
Chat Benson Show this morning.
Speaker 27 (30:21):
A commitment to find possible causes of autism. Within six
months hi September.
Speaker 28 (30:27):
We will know what has caused the autism an epidemic
and we'll be able to eliminate those exposures.
Speaker 27 (30:33):
Health Secretary RFK Junior promising during the President's Cabinet meeting
that he will find out why autism rates are rising.
Speaker 2 (30:41):
It is interesting when you listen to the numbers that
he talks about. He talked about a lot of things
about how fat we are. As one of the things,
the numbers. Even if you recognize maybe we're we understand
it a little bit better. These numbers comparatively to back
when I was younger.
Speaker 28 (30:57):
Are through the roof we have now the autism some
rates have gone from now most recent numbers we think
are going to be about one in thirty one one
in twelve, So they're going up again from one in
ten thousand when I was a kid, And we are
going at your direction, we are going to know by September.
(31:17):
We've launched a massive testing and research effort that's going
to involve hundreds of scientists from around the world. By September,
we will know what has caused an epidemic. We'll be
able to eliminate those.
Speaker 2 (31:32):
Exposures, which sounds great. I mean, let's be honest, if
we could do that, that would be huge, even if
it's not one in thirty three, even if it's one
in a thousand comparatively to what was one in ten thousand.
Speaker 29 (31:45):
Man, So there was one in ten thousand head autism
and now it's one in thirty one, not thirty one thousand,
thirty one. That is that's a horrible statistic, isn't it.
And there's got to be something artificial out there that's
doing this.
Speaker 2 (32:04):
So you think you're gonna have a.
Speaker 29 (32:05):
Pretty good idea yeah, we won't a September. There will
be no bigger news conference and that So that's that's it.
If you can come up with that answer where you
stop taking something, you stop beating something, or maybe it's
a shot, but something's causing it, it can't be.
Speaker 2 (32:23):
It can't be.
Speaker 29 (32:24):
From ten thousand to Can you imagine that market. That's
a big that's a big number.
Speaker 2 (32:30):
That's a big number, huge, massive, I don't I mean,
it would it be great if they could. Absolutely, So
look at the numbers and we'll just start from two thousand.
It was one in one hundred and fifty in two thousand,
one in sixty eight, twenty ten, one in fifty four,
twenty twenty one, in thirty six, in twenty three. Now
(32:53):
he is thinking it's one in thirty three.
Speaker 23 (32:57):
But come together and say that we're just going to
get a bunch of scientists together and get an answer
by September.
Speaker 2 (33:02):
That seems a little far fetched. Maybe it is, Maybe
it is, and we're going to have to find out.
One thing I know for sure, there's a lot of
people out there that are curious. And one of the
things that people are saying is, yes, it's on the rise,
but it's always been there in bigger numbers than the
(33:23):
one in ten thousand because we didn't recognize it back
in the day. Plus we've expanded the spectrum as well.
We were talking yesterday about this.
Speaker 30 (33:31):
You know, back in the day, you had a friend
or two that was just you know, you thought they
were a bit off, right they they weren't, you know,
like why does Jimmy only focus on trains?
Speaker 2 (33:41):
They were a bit off. Now we understand a bit
more about it and so we can recognize it sooner.
But they've also expanded the spectrum. But one in thirty three.
Yesterday I watched a bit of the Masters. By bit,
I mean several hours and Nick Dunlap, who was the
first amateur to win on the PJ Tour since Phil
(34:03):
Michelson in nineteen ninety one. He won twice last year,
once as an amateur which got him immediate status on
the PGA Tour, and then once again played the Masters.
A lot of it sounded like this, finding the penalty area.
Speaker 1 (34:20):
Taking a good look a good root rather on the
high side just peeling it back.
Speaker 2 (34:27):
Doesn't lap? Okay, Well, Tom man, you're thinking, well, what
was that into the water? Hit it way over to
the side, put it around, get in, get out. He
shot a ninety, a ninety third player in Master's history.
I didn't get that full note before we went to
(34:48):
his scorecard. But look at all of the double and
triple bogies.
Speaker 21 (34:53):
On his car without a single three.
Speaker 2 (34:56):
Times a hit?
Speaker 3 (34:57):
Any is that true?
Speaker 2 (35:00):
We know he's young, we know it's tough, but I
did come back tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (35:06):
Well.
Speaker 31 (35:06):
I mean, if there's ever a place you'd want to
go play around of golf after a round like this,
it's here.
Speaker 2 (35:12):
This has got to be devastating for Nick. You know
he's gonna have to wear this. He's gonna wear it
because he's young. He's only twenty one, and he's amazing,
got tons of talent. My prediction today he does ridiculously well,
doesn't make the cut, but shows up and shows out
today three two, three, five, eight, twenty four to twenty
(35:35):
three at Chad Beinson shows your ex and your instant
right on The Chad Benson Show. Coming up, hour number
two of The Chad Benson Show. A lot of stuff
to get to, Yes, some tariffs, more on the Skotis
decision about that El Salvadorian that was sent to Seacot,
(35:55):
but it was an oops and Scotis said, yeah, you
got to bring him home. We're gona talk a little
bit about that. Our buddy's at Abraham Chief Mestment Officer
Bohard Capital is going to join the program. We're going
to talk a lot about tariffs. We're going to talk
a lot about the politics of tariffs and what's the endgame.
But I don't hear a lot of people talking about
when it comes to these tariffs. We'll discuss that, among
(36:18):
other things. If you're miss any of the show, grab
the podcast. It is the Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 1 (36:24):
This is the Chad Benson Show, The Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (36:53):
Here's my question about all the tariffs and whatnot. What
is the endgame? What exactly is the endgame? If we say,
as I absolutely believe, but if all of the powers
(37:15):
that be say that China is not our ally, they're
not our friend, which I don't think they are their
our rival, they want global dominance, which I think they do,
then why would we have anything to do with them?
If their goal is to beat us, is to dominate
(37:35):
the globe, why would we have anything to do with them.
That's I think a fair question. That's why I we
know what the healthy endgame is. Mis sargon, take us away.
Here's the way I think they're thinking about it.
Speaker 31 (37:51):
It feels like the direction they're heading in is that
what Trump basically wants is for our allies to consume
a lot more of our product and for China to
produce a lot less of what we consume. And so
I think what he's going for is a kind of
soft global embargo on China. And the way that he
went about doing that is he basically picked up a
(38:12):
baseball bat and said to the entire global elites that's
a really nice stock market you've got. It would be
a shame if anything happened to it. And the reason
that I think that that was effective is, I mean,
Lutnik is saying that they could never have gotten such
good deals if that pressure that you're actually describing wasn't there.
But I think that that was more designed for domestic audience.
(38:34):
And the reason that I think that is this. I've
been thinking a lot about the ten million Americans who
lost their homes in the two thousand and eight financial
crisis and how President Obama's first act in office was
to give seven hundred billion dollars to the banks that
caused it, including thirty billion dollars in bonuses to the
(38:55):
crooks who organized it. And I'm thinking about how those
very Americans saw a president pick Wall Street over Main Street,
and what they saw this whole week was a president
willing to go out there and fight for the forgotten
men and women of this heartland and take on the
entire international a global order.
Speaker 2 (39:14):
Oh, that seems like a bit of a stretch. But
do I understand some of that? Of course, I mean
that's the thing of populism. Main Street, no Wall Street. Yes,
I know Main Street, but I really know Wall Street.
But it's about the cost of life. It's about a
(39:37):
lot of things, what it means to us. And you're
not thinking about this, if you've got a small business
that China's goal was to dominate the globe, you're not
really thinking about whether or not China's end game would
be to dominate everything, to impose their will on everybody.
(39:57):
And if given the opportunity, even us, because you're trying
to survive, you.
Speaker 32 (40:03):
Just launched Explorer cold Brew at Whole Foods nationwide. That's
a really big milestone for you. Tell us how these
tariffs are affecting you. Now that there is a pause,
but there's still a one hundred and forty five percent
cumulative tariff on China.
Speaker 33 (40:19):
Look for a small business like mine, launching in whole
foods nationwide is like the highest of highs. It's a
make or break opportunity to have just weeks later this
news around tariffs and immediately seeing hearing from suppliers about
how them are going to impact our prices.
Speaker 2 (40:35):
It goes from a make to a break for a
business like mine that's a real person with real world
worries and fears. Not thinking about the implications politically or
geopolitically of China trying to dominate the globe and US
(40:56):
using tariffs to try to get some of our allies
and friends to kind of choose the side. He's feeling
what is going on, and because of that, he's you know,
he's frustrated, he's worried, he's scared.
Speaker 33 (41:11):
Understandable, even with the ninety day pause, I mean, the
reciprocal tariffs are paused. But for a small business, you know,
it's one thing. For big businesses, you know, the big
businesses you you know that were mentioned Apple and the
others that they're complaining. If they're complaining, it's one hundred
times worse for small businesses. You know, we can't fly
in six planeloads of iPhones to beat the tariffs. We
(41:34):
can't actually even raise prices because you know, we're already
you know, think about the small businesses you support. You know,
it's all subscale productions, So we're already priced on the
high end of the set.
Speaker 2 (41:45):
So it's a very very challenging situation for us, no
doubt about that. And that's why I go back to
what's the end game when it comes to China? Everybody else,
I understand you're using the tariffs as a potential means
to an end to side with us, buy more of
(42:08):
our goods. Don't give them the opportunity to grow their
empire and power, because what they're going to do is
markedly worse. If given the opportunity, then you paying a
(42:31):
little bit more for our goods.
Speaker 33 (42:33):
Ninety day period is you know, It's it's a good
initial step, I guess, but it doesn't really give enough
time for small businesses to make the adjustments we need. Ultimately,
China is not the only place to make class bottles
or to buy glass bottles. But I don't have the
you know, the widespread capabilities in the supply chain to
(42:53):
immediately move my procurement of those of those products to
a different place. Businesses might have that. Big businesses have
the resources and access to capital to wait it out
to you know, wait for American manufacturing to come back.
But a small business like mine will be out of
business before the end of the year if things continue
(43:14):
on this on this path.
Speaker 2 (43:16):
CEO right there of Explore Coffee. It's there's a lot
of people out there. Their fear in the worry is
simply I understand what you're saying, but this is going
to affect me negatively for some who aren't business owners.
It's about the cost of goods.
Speaker 3 (43:38):
So now everything's magically delicious, uh uh not the case.
Speaker 5 (43:42):
I mean, look at this, tariffs of ten percent or
more on trading partners, favor thirty nine percent, opposition way
up there, fifty seven percent, And of course these tariffs
are still in place.
Speaker 3 (43:53):
Just because you removed some of them didn't mean he
removed all of them.
Speaker 8 (43:57):
You know.
Speaker 5 (43:57):
It was almost as if well I did a little something,
so so everything's going to be okay. I don't think
the American public's going to necessarily feel that way because
there is big opposition to one of the biggest tariffs
that still remains in effect.
Speaker 2 (44:10):
And you know, it's funny. It's as I've talked to people,
it's not opposition to the tariffs, because I think everybody
agrees that we've got to change course when it comes
to China. It's the worry of higher prices, recessions, loss
(44:32):
of job, things of that nature.
Speaker 5 (44:34):
And take a look here, these are recession chance as
chance of a recession. According to JP Morgan in early March,
it was already forty percent. Look at where it is
now sixty percent of majority. How about Goldman Sachs In
early March it was twenty percent. Look at where we
are now forty five percent at best case. At this point,
it seems to me, at least according to the experts,
the chance of a recession is fifty fifty when you average.
Speaker 3 (44:55):
It all together.
Speaker 5 (44:56):
What is happening on Wall Street, at least at this
particular point, has a pretty good chance of spilling in
the main stream.
Speaker 3 (45:03):
And those folks who are.
Speaker 5 (45:04):
Thinking those tariffs are just something that are happening down
in the stock exchange in New York City aren't coming
to them.
Speaker 23 (45:09):
They may be in for a rude awakening and a
rude surprise cave.
Speaker 2 (45:15):
We'll find out. It's definitely going to be interesting. I
just want to understand the endgame. The pressure great, get
them to drop their tariffs great, but still they're going
to We're always going to have some sort of trade
deficit with them because we're always going to be able
to spend more money and we want cheaper goods. So
(45:39):
is the goal full decoupling.
Speaker 9 (45:45):
Or is it just.
Speaker 2 (45:47):
Flexing your muscles, getting people to do everything they can
to weaken them, but still kind of deal with them.
I don't know. Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty
four to twenty three at Chad Benson Show. Is your
Twitter tweet slash x at us. Meanwhile, Scotus has spoken
and said, hey, you guys jack the booch with that
(46:09):
guy from L Salvador. Yeah, you got to bring him back.
So so once you guys go and do that.
Speaker 8 (46:17):
He was wrongly sent to El Salvador, to that prison
that we've heard so much of bar about, with a
history of human rights abuses. He was detained in this country.
He is an alleged gang member. He denies those affiliations.
Those facts aren't in dispute, but an immigration court here
in the United States had explicitly said he was not
to be returned to El Salvador for fears of threats
(46:40):
to his life. That, of course has now happened, and
the Supreme Court in no uncertain terms said that action
was illegal.
Speaker 2 (46:49):
So they sent him on his way. His family's like,
he's none of those things you said he needs to
come home. You guys used, you know, to two's and
all this kind of stuff. He's none of those things.
Now bring him back. I don't know if they're going
to be able to bring him back. President of val
(47:10):
salvad is going to be here on Monday, and there's
no will for them to bring it. Let's be honest.
For Trump and the administration, there is no will to
bring him home, as much as the family may want it,
as much as the Supreme Court has said, hey, you
need to do this. Obviously we know there is no
(47:33):
want to bring him home, and there's no will to
bring him home, even if they could stand up and say, look,
we made a mistake, which they've already admitted, but we've
put it right, and so there you go.
Speaker 8 (47:49):
We'll have to see how the Trump administration responds. They
had said they didn't have the power to return him.
The Supreme Court apparently wasn't having any of that. They
said that the district court order was proper, that this
can be done. They expect the government to comply and
correct its mistakes.
Speaker 9 (48:06):
So we'll see if there's further litigation.
Speaker 2 (48:08):
Here, there will be, you know that. Three two, three, five, three, eight,
twenty four to twenty three at Chad Benson Show, it's

Speaker 1 (49:50):
Chad Benson.
Speaker 34 (49:51):
Law enforcement officials tell ABC News the helicopter was carrying
a family two adults and three children, tour US from Spain,
in addition to one PILO flight Radar twenty four showing
the chopper was in the air over Manhattan for about
fifteen minutes before it broke apart.
Speaker 12 (50:06):
Literally as you see a helicopter splitting in two with
the rotor flying off, and I heard.
Speaker 1 (50:11):
A loud snap or like a kind of sound barrier
breaking sound.
Speaker 34 (50:14):
A FAA record show the helicopter is twenty one years old.
It was the helicopter's sixth flight of the day.
Speaker 2 (50:20):
Man, how many times have we said this on the show?
Speaker 20 (50:23):
Not if?
Speaker 2 (50:24):
But when I've had a couple buddies who were helicopter pilots,
now they're pilot pilots. They they were trained in the military,
but they used to tell me all the time it's
not if, but when some point in time it's going
to go down. And if you've not seen the video,
it is it's a tough watch. But I didn't even
know what the hell happened. It's just there's a thousand videos,
(50:46):
but you see it kind of coming apart. And our
buddy Alex Stone, who you know, we have on as
much as we possibly can for May, happened to be
in that area in New York at the time.
Speaker 24 (50:58):
We happen to be on the stat and I Ellen
Ferry just after the helicopter went down, coming around the
Statue of Liberty, heading back toward Manhattan, looking off into
the distance down the Hudson River, I could see flashing
lights on the water and on the shoreline, and helicopters
that were circling up above what looked like search and
rescue helicopters, Coast Guard helicopters looking for anybody in the water.
(51:20):
The helicopter was upside down when rescuers got there in
the Hudson River.
Speaker 2 (51:26):
Absolutely tragic. It's not if, but when I mean, it's crazy.
And that thing came apart so fast, so you wonder
if it did it hit something. I mean, you know,
obviously the NTSB is going to do its research, but
you know, there's so many videos of it as well
(51:48):
coming down. A lot of people said, you heard like
a sonic boom or something like that, and all of
a sudden you look and you see it come down.
But if you look in some of the videos, you
see pieces of it in other areas hitting the water first,
so obviously it broke apart somewhere.
Speaker 12 (52:09):
The chopper was flying for about fifteen minutes before breaking
up mid flight.
Speaker 2 (52:14):
Three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four twenty three.
At Chad Benson's show is your ex feel free to

Speaker 12 (52:31):
Experts say the blades likely hit the tail, breaking it apart,
sending the fuselage into a free fall.
Speaker 2 (52:37):
The question is why did they hit the tail? And
that's what the NTSB is going to have to sort out.
Why did it hit the tail and come apart like that?
People said there was like a sonic boom. Meanwhile, the
debate of the clocks, should we or shouldn't we forward back?
(52:59):
Keep doing what we're doing, don't do what we do,
keep it the same, don't keep it the same. I
don't know what to do, but they're debating it.
Speaker 35 (53:09):
Changing clocks bi annually impacts our health. Research has shown
that the abrupt shift in time, especially the spring transition,
when we lose an hour of sleep, disrupts our internal
circadian rhythms and causes sleep deprivation.
Speaker 20 (53:25):
That is true.
Speaker 2 (53:26):
I have that anyway, so it doesn't matter. Don't sleep
a lot. But the debate has gone on forever in
a day, since I was young, Like why do we
still do this?
Speaker 34 (53:34):
Changing the clocks twice a year is relevant to road
safety first and foremost because it affects the amount.
Speaker 9 (53:39):
Of ambient light during peak times for travel.
Speaker 2 (53:43):
Okay, so are you saying yes, no?
Speaker 9 (53:45):
Maybe the American people are sick and tired of changing
the clocks twice a year. It's confusing, unnecessary, and completely outdated.
Speaker 2 (53:53):
Those guys have spoken, including Ted Cruise, it's time to
get rid of it or maybe keep it. Not quite
sure three two, three, five, three eight, twenty four, twenty
three your text line Let us know what you think
at Chad Benson Show, ex Instagram, check out chatminsonshow dot com.
Coming up. Our buddy, Zach Abram, chief investment officer, Boy Capital,
joins us to talk tariffs and the market. Should you panic?
(54:15):
Should you not panic? We're gonna talk to him straight ahead.
It is the Chad Benson Shown, Chad Benson.
Speaker 1 (54:21):
Shoe, the Chad Benson Show.
Speaker 2 (54:44):
It is that time of the week where we talk
politics and finance and all the things. Our buddy, Zach Abram,
chiefvestment Officer, Boy Capital, friend of the show, sponsor of
the show, joins the program. All right, brother, tariffs, what
the hell's going on?
Speaker 9 (55:01):
Yeah, so I think we've got a really good insight yesterday.
And this was, frankly, what I was expecting Trump to do.
I wasn't expecting him to roll out the tariffs as
widely as he did on everybody the first go round,
but I was expecting him to use that as leverage.
The minute those tariffs were levied dulls just turned into
a turnstyle for emissaries flying in and meet with Trump
(55:23):
right and try to get things back online. Though I
think those places are coming around. There's also a part
to it that when you have went anytime, whether it's
a company, whether it's a country, anytime somebody has been
on the door for a long time, they're not going
to be happy about taking it away. And so I
think in my mind what I was watching was Trump
coming out laying the heavy and then going behind closed
(55:45):
doors and saying, hey, guys, you're a trading partners. We've
got no interest in creating a trade war with you.
This is all about getting maximum leverage on China. We're
going to rework it this way, let's figure it out.
And that seems to be what's happening. But and I'm
fine with that because you know, the one thing when
the tariffs rolled out first, there were several tariffs that
went against countries where you're looking at that going why
(56:07):
are you why would you do that? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (56:08):
Why are we tariffing vanilla from Madagascar? Right?
Speaker 18 (56:12):
Right?
Speaker 9 (56:13):
We even had tariffs against an island that was uninhabited. Yeah, right,
So I think they went broad and wide, almost to
like a I don't want to say, a clumsy level,
but a little bit harder. But I think I think,
I think it's the right approach overall, meaning come in
heavier handed and then walk it back right that. I
(56:36):
think that's the right approach at this point. But the
consternation regarding China, Hey, look what he's levying on China.
It's scary. You're talking about the two biggest economies in
the world.
Speaker 2 (56:49):
Has to happen.
Speaker 9 (56:50):
Has to happen because everybody is acting as if the
status quo is something that's worthy of being defended. When
the status quo is just as dangerous as the change,
then you should probably take a shot of the change,
right absolutely. And that's the thing is I'm looking at
People don't understand. They really don't. I listen to people
(57:11):
on TV. I listen to people. They don't understand what
China has been doing. And if they had a good
understanding of what China has been doing for the last
twenty five years, they would understand this is a rigged
game and it's really smart. It's really smart. When I
say it's really smart, I don't want people to think
I love no, but you know he.
Speaker 2 (57:29):
Came out today and said, it's genius what they've done
to us.
Speaker 3 (57:32):
Oh did he say that?
Speaker 9 (57:33):
Yeah, because I agree. And if you don't mind, can
I can I get into this? Do it? Let's do it,
so people need to understand it. So China began to
liberalize under Dangiopang right, and he had a much more
He was much more altruistic in the sense that he
really admired a lot of the openness of Western economies
and he really wanted to open things up. But he
(57:56):
and Z did not come from the same place.
Speaker 3 (57:58):
No, they did not.
Speaker 9 (57:59):
So Z takes over and he's a mauist, right, and
he came up with a brilliant strategy, a brilliant strategy.
Let's go in and play nice with these people. And
the way we're gonna play nice is we're gonna offer
them manufacturing that is below their cost of production, so
meaning it doesn't matter what they do, they won't be
(58:20):
able to match it. And then to sweeten the deal,
we're going to add government subsidies in there to subsidize.
And what I mean by that is maybe they go
to a manufacturer that's making iPhones and they say, we're
going to cover twenty percent of your costs, but you've
got to pass that savings onto Apple, right, and people go, well,
how can they keep affording to do that. They can
afford to do it this way because they have because
(58:44):
their exports are so much larger than their imports. And
remember they also have a closed capital account. Okay, so
by definition, regardless of the crazy amount of money printing
they're doing inside of their own country, that money isn't
getting out into the international system, so it's not hitting
their currency values. If it starts to hit their currency values.
(59:07):
They have so much more foreign reserves dollars, euros, rubles,
whatever the case may be. They have so many more
flowing in than they have renmn B or wand flowing
out that they can just then take those FX reserves
and buy the value of their currency up in the
open market. Right. And as long as you're not tarifing
(59:28):
these goods, they can keep that game up until you
have nothing left. And if you go look at the
trade deals they have cut with virtually everybody else, find
me one that is altruistic and not predatory, Meaning there's
this idea that we can play nice with them, and
yet we have no evidence that they play nice with anybody.
(59:51):
So what are we talking about? And people do not
understand how genius that system was. And then on top
of it, you could get us to bid against ourselves
because they were taking advantage of the inherent greed that
can be a good thing in capitalist markets, and they
were using it against us. Meaning why do you think
(01:00:12):
Larry think is so loaded up in China? Right profits?
Right profits? He can make stuff there, he can build
stuff there at the cost, and he's getting subsidized by
the Chinese government. And so they knew that. You know,
the American politicians might freak out, but all the guys
with the money, right, the muscle that isn't gonna want
(01:00:32):
this virtuous cycle to end because they're making tons of money.
And so it was a brilliant strategy to go into
a global trading network and take total advantage of it.
And one of the reasons they could do it, this
is the thing that people don't understand. One of the
reasons they could do it is because they're communists, because
(01:00:54):
they have a closed capital account, meaning they don't let
capital flow freely. So literally looking at them and acting
as if we can play fairly with them, on the
global stage. Under this current setup, it is the equivalent
to me of looking at the NFL and saying, we're
going to allow one team to not get tested for
performance enhancing drugs, and then look back five years later
(01:01:15):
and go, it's got to be the greatest GM in
NFL coach in history. They've won five Super Bowls in
a row, and you're like, well, yeah, they're all loaded
up on royds Man. The one team you're you know,
you're not testing them, and so that's China. China is
the New York Giants that don't get tested for HGH
and steroids. And then we're all marveled at the fact
that they won, you know, several championships in a row.
(01:01:36):
So it and then people acting as if, like I
said this earlier, the status quo isn't dangerous. You let
the status quo roll on for another fifteen years. I
have anything left.
Speaker 2 (01:01:46):
Talking to Zach KP. Maham, chief investment Officer, Board Capital,
we've got to stick with it. People recognize that there's
going to be pain. He panicked yesterday. Let's not pretend
that you know that Trump didn't panic.
Speaker 30 (01:01:57):
He did.
Speaker 2 (01:01:57):
The bond market. I think it scared a lot of
people because he's also got to play the politics and
making sure his people get re elected. But we're gonna
have to we have to do something, and you can't
play the panic game. At what point do you say,
screw it, all gloves are off, We're going to go
for it. And then what does that do for the economy?
What does that?
Speaker 9 (01:02:16):
You know?
Speaker 2 (01:02:16):
Because you and I both know we're not bringing back
the manufacturing world the way that a lot of people
would like to think we're bringing it back. That's just
never going to happen, not not in that not in
that way.
Speaker 9 (01:02:26):
But what we can do is we can globally diversify
the manufacturing because remember that's the whole like that, the
whole base concept, the whole base, the whole part that
makes capitalism work right is competition. Yeah, and that's the
biggest issue is we don't have competition with China, right.
We do, but it's a soft competition, meaning we're we're
(01:02:46):
competing against ourselves. Right. There is no scenario under this
current regime where we win and they lose. Right now,
there's there are tons of scenarios where they win and
we lose. But until you change that dynamic. And I
think the other part of it is I think he
did panic a little bit, but I think he panicked
(01:03:07):
not on a strategy, but how he was implementing it.
Meaning I didn't think he anticipated the tariffs on everybody else,
being as I think he probably. I think they probably
thought more people would think like me, which was guys,
he's not going to actually institute these tariffs. This is
all about leverage to get everybody to come to the table.
(01:03:27):
So I think from my read on it, I think
that's what he was more backing down from. And the
reason I say that, Chad, is that's why we were
also looking at that market rally yesterday and going, why
is everybody so jazzed up? If you look at the
changes they made yesterday, and then you add in what
he did to China yesterday, the tariffs globally went from
(01:03:48):
like thirty percent to twenty seven. Yeah, right, so very
little change. It was a change on the margin yesterday,
and yet look at the market's response. So the issue
was always been between US and China, and and it's
why it sort of confused me how they rolled the
tariffs out so wide and so like you and I said,
(01:04:09):
it's kind of haphazardly it looked like. But I think
this is one of those things where I think we're
going to have to see the way it plays out,
because you know, everybody's well every obviously everybody on left
going oh, it's a day disaster. Oh it's this. Oh
it's that. I think everybody is really underplaying and or
or unaware of the position this has put China in.
(01:04:31):
Absolutely China has a sort of damicles hanging over their
head that they have never had it yep. And and
it has made life very difficult on z. It's not
a one shot knockout. China has other cards to play.
But what the issue that I think this is going
to cause for them is this really inhibits the inflow
(01:04:52):
of dollars into their account, into into their country, and
they need them. They need them bad, and I don't
think they are getting enough when you consider what's going
on in their economy right now, and then you consider
what they're getting from other trade partners. I just I
don't think they can survive without access to our markets.
I really don't. Not as highly levered as they are
(01:05:13):
and is dependent on foreign currency as they are. So
bottom line is this. I do not see any evidence
that it is possible to negotiate with China in a
meaningful way outside of this. I just I do not
think you will get China to come now. China isn't
gonna say they're sorry and issue a Maya copa and
(01:05:35):
say they were wrong and submit to what Trump wants.
So I think that when this gets when and if
this gets resolved, hopefully, I think it will be done
in a way that both Trump and z will come
out saving face, right, because you're gonna have to give
Ze a way out, and you're gonna have to give
them a way out that saves face or you know,
the China he's not gonna do it. He's not gonna
(01:05:57):
admit that he lost to Trump. But I don't think
you're going to get a desirable outcome unless you put
them in that spot.
Speaker 2 (01:06:05):
But what's the outcome even, look like, what are we
negotiating that is, we're not negotiating freedoms, we're not negotiating
them having an open society. And what kind of negotiations
are we really throwing on there? Because as long as
our money still flowing in there, Okay, they don't get
the tariff money don't get some of that stuff. But
the reality is because we're always going to buy more
from them because our dollars is always going to be
stronger because they can do what they do. So what
does it look like, you know?
Speaker 9 (01:06:26):
With them? I don't With them, I don't really know,
because bottom line is the amount of tariffs you've put
on them right now, they can't really overcome those for
the most part. They're just too big, and I think
that's where you need to have them in order to
get that negotiation done. But what does it look like?
What are the concessions we're going to make? I think
you have to get You have to figure out a
(01:06:47):
way to keep them from being able to subsidize the
products they're putting out. And quite honestly, that should be
something that is overseen and supervised by something like the
World Trade Organization. Problem is China's infiltrated that, right, So
it's like the World Chinese Trade Organization and you're just
gonna have to get them to pull back, and they're
going to be very unwilling to do that. And like
(01:07:09):
I said, I for the people out there that's saying
this risk kinetic war with China, I agree, but we
were risking it already. And if you think these guys
had any aspirations, they don't want to share power with us,
They don't want to be trade partners with us. They
will they will. They are more than willing to pay
financial penalties for those choices. They have no interest in that.
(01:07:31):
This is a long term game of domination that they
believe is binary. One person wins, one person loses. And
bottom line is to win a game like that, you
got to play by those rules, right and you got
to play hardball with them, or they end up taking everything.
Speaker 3 (01:07:47):
Man.
Speaker 9 (01:07:47):
And I just I know it's scary, but there's no
there's this illusion out there that not doing this is
just as safe. It's not. You're running the same risk
either side.
Speaker 2 (01:07:57):
Absolutely, Zach Cabera, Chiefstment Officer. PEOP want to reach out
and get a second opinion, as they should and talk

god it's a tariff. Dactyl speaking of, That, China.
Speaker 37 (01:14:24):
China now raising import taxes on goods from The United
states to one hundred and twenty five percent as the
tit for type trade war escalates even. Further the announcement
From beijing coming hours After chinese Presidents he's In ping
said there were no winners in a tariff. War china
faces a one hundred and forty five percent levy on
some of its goods important to The United, states As
(01:14:44):
President trump zeroed in On china as a target while
pausing tariff's on dozens of other. Countries in announcing the
latest tariff, Hikes China's commerce ministry again Said china would
fight to the, end but the statement also suggested this
might just Be china's last tariff In reese, saying if
THE us raises rates higher, Again, china we'll ignore.
Speaker 2 (01:15:04):
It we've been asking the question throughout the, day what
is the? Endgame what is the endgame With? China if
we know That china, lies, cheats, steals if we know
they won't honor any, agreement if we know any of
those things to be, true WHICH i think we, do
(01:15:28):
then what is the endgame? Here they want to cut a, Deal,
well why would we want to cut a?
Speaker 20 (01:15:34):
Deal with.
Speaker 2 (01:15:34):
Them shouldn't the deal be we want to get away
from this. Altogether we no longer want to participate in
what it is that they're. Doing we want to move
away from. This shouldn't that be what we should? SAY
i think. SO i think it's time to move. Away
(01:15:56):
if we're serious about holding their feet to the, fire
maybe it's best that we say it out. Loud you're with,
us you're against us if you want access to our,
markets and you are our. Friends we're all going to
have to suck it up and make a real decision
(01:16:16):
about what we're going to do because they want to
make it about, Them they want to make it about global.
Dominance they want all of those, things and we all know.
That but we've also enjoyed the cheap, goods and so
now it is time for us to say we wish
(01:16:38):
you the. Best maybe we see you on the, battlefield hopefully.
Not but it's time for us to move on because
the current leaders Of china and their belief system does
not align with our beliefs when it comes to. Freedom
(01:17:00):
all of the, things.
Speaker 3 (01:17:05):
Will we do?
Speaker 2 (01:17:05):
That won't we do? THAT i don't. Know WHAT i
do know is politics gets. Involved politics gets involved what
ends up. Happening you make decisions on, politics and politics
is what's right for the it's supposed to be in
theory it's right for the, people but rarely is it
right for the people in the long. Run it's what's
(01:17:28):
right for the politician and the party at that moment in.
Speaker 5 (01:17:31):
Time so now everything's magically, Delicious uh, uh not the.
CASE i, mean look at this tariffs seteen percent or
more on trading, partners favor thirty nine, percent opposition way up,
there fifty seven. Percent and of course these tariffs are
still in. Place just because you removed some of them
didn't mean he removed all of.
Speaker 2 (01:17:50):
Them you, know it was.
Speaker 5 (01:17:51):
Almost as, if, WELL i did it a little something,
good so everything's going to be. OKAY i don't think
The american public's going to necessarily feel that, way because
there is big opposition to one of the biggest tariffs
that still remains.
Speaker 2 (01:18:02):
In, effect and it's, there and they've raised theirs and you, Know, China,
china they came out and said, today if they do it,
again we're gonna ignore. It but they said they're not
going to back, down and there will be no. Winners
what happens when you put g in the, corner just like,
Baby just like.
Speaker 5 (01:18:23):
Baby one of the reasons why you see the opposition
to tariff's like this is folks are afraid that prices
are gonna go, up, Right AND i guess the Consumer
index report was a pretty decent piece of.
Speaker 3 (01:18:32):
News but this is the number one economic.
Speaker 2 (01:18:35):
Fear when you ask, it what's your.
Speaker 3 (01:18:37):
Number one economic?
Speaker 5 (01:18:38):
Fear number, one by far is the cost of goods
at forty seven, percent, right we're still coming off those
highs on inflation number. Costs it's housing costs number. Three
then you finally get to the stock market. Seventeen now
that's not too, shabby, right but it's nowhere near the
forty seven percent who say the cost of goods is
the number one economic. Word if prices go, Up Donald
(01:18:58):
trump's approval rating will go.
Speaker 2 (01:19:00):
Down it, will of, course and that's when the politics
come in because he his fear and the gravity that
he has polls with him the party. Itself so you're
(01:19:22):
trying to take something On china, tariffs and this isn't
about the imbalance Of they can sit there and, go,
oh we have a you, know the the ridiculous debt
that we had it's not about. That it's not it's
not about our deficit when it comes To. China this
is about bigger global politics of the dominance of the,
(01:19:45):
WORLD us versus. Them but when politics comes, in it
Becomes democrats And republicans fighting over voter and so politics
itself at that moment in time overrides the tariff. Battle trump's.
Speaker 5 (01:20:11):
Tariff do you, know you go back To, january it
was forty eight percent who, favored forty.
Speaker 3 (01:20:15):
Six percent who, opposed so slightly more who favored than a.
Speaker 5 (01:20:17):
Post look at where we are now At april fifty
four percent of post forty two percent. Favor opposition's going,
up favors going.
Speaker 3 (01:20:25):
Down this bottom line is.
Speaker 5 (01:20:28):
A political loser For Donald, trump and he is losing
the messaging battle on. This americans might have been a
little open to the idea of tariff's coming into this,
administration but since then.
Speaker 2 (01:20:39):
Their opposition through the, roof through the, roof because it's
it's it gets to that, point because it's the how
does this affect? Me i'm great with tariffs as long
as it doesn't affect my business or. Me if prices
go up and it's harder for me to get, goods
and my living becomes much more uncomfortable Because i'm having
(01:21:04):
to make decisions financially THAT i didn't have to make
prior to. These, well that's an effect on. Me so
While i'm for, them if they don't affect, me if
they do affect, me well we'll have to have a
conversation about.
Speaker 3 (01:21:19):
That and take a look, here these are recession. Chances
as chance of a.
Speaker 5 (01:21:23):
Recession according TO Jp, morgan in Early, march it was
already forty. Percent look at where it is now sixty
percent of. Majority how About Goldman. Sachs in Early march
it was twenty. Percent look at where we are now
forty five percent at best. Case at this, point it
seems to, me at least according to the, experts the
chance of a recession is fifty fifty when you average
it all. Together what is happening On Wall street at
(01:21:45):
the least at this particular, point has a pretty good
chance of spilling in the main.
Speaker 3 (01:21:49):
Street and those folks who.
Speaker 5 (01:21:50):
Are thinking those tariffs are just something that are happening
down in the Stock exchange In New York city aren't
coming to.
Speaker 23 (01:21:55):
Them they may be in for a rude awakening and
A Rude Kate rudo.
Speaker 2 (01:22:01):
Awakening it's. POSSIBLE i do believe we're gonna have a.
Recession how big will it, BE i don't, Know but
they come. Along that's what. Happens like an. Earthquake you're
gonna have, Earthquakes you're gonna have, Tornadoes you're gonna have.
Hurricanes these things, happen and you're gonna have recession at
(01:22:24):
some point in. Time it's not, if but how you
react to it that is going to. Matter speaking of,
reacting lots of stuff going on With scotus and. Immigration

Speaker 38 (01:22:37):
An afternoon hearing in her, Courtroom maryland based Federal Judge
Paul asinus has now directed the administration to take all
available steps to facilitate the return Of Kilmar Abrego. Garcia late,
yesterday The Supreme court held her initial, order which Expired monday,
night was proper and that the administration must now explain
what it's doing to Get Abrego garcia. Back the administration
(01:22:58):
is pointing to what the justices said about the cases
it moves, forward that the judge must give deference to
the executive branch in its conduct of foreign.
Speaker 2 (01:23:05):
Affairs let me translate that for you, guys you've got
to do everything in your power to get this guy.
Back you've got to make an. Effort but we recognize
he's not An american citizen and he's in another.
Speaker 10 (01:23:18):
Country you have to facilitate him getting back because the
man is in the custody of another, country.
Speaker 11 (01:23:24):
Right AND i think part of what is animating that
decision is that it's hard for The United states to
compel a foreign country to do. Anything so part of
THE i think what's behind The court's ruling is can
they actually get l salvator to get the person? Back
now they can direct the government to quote unquote facilitate
his you bring him back to The United. States but
that's sort of. Fuzzy if there's any of The Supreme
(01:23:45):
court loves to, Do, jake it's to kick things down
to lower courts so that they don't have to make
a decision on. It and they're sort of leaving the
dirty work to the.
Speaker 2 (01:23:52):
Court but, yeah they don't like to make a. Decision
that's the thing about The Supreme court is they want
the courts below them to do all the heavy. Lifting
and only when there's something that interests them or has
a real broad reach do they want to get, involved
(01:24:15):
and they have to make a. Attempt but how hard
will they? Try? Now for, ME i think they should
try pretty hard to right a, wrong even though he
may go, back because it's the right thing to, do
(01:24:36):
showing that we're not just snatching people. Off we are
following the rules that were set in front of, us
and if we mess, up we fix that. Immediately will that?
Happen probably. Not they're going to. Go we call, them
they said, no and that's.
Speaker 3 (01:24:54):

(01:27:27):
Occasions it, was you, know it was one of those
things where when you watch a lot of the CNNs
of The world and things like, that it feels very,
manufactured like you've got to say. Something this was a
long conversation that got heated at, times but it was
(01:27:49):
entertaining as, well about everything From hamas To. Ukraine it
was really Interesting. Onana i'm not going to say anything
more than, that you don't know who that? Is soccer

wayser she shot. Somebody oh my, Lord Nick dunlap, again
(01:29:20):
poor guy is trending everywhere and not for the right
reasons at. All The masters etiquette we talked a bit
about that yesterday as, well also. Trending, Yeah Nick dunlap
had arguably the worst round In masters. History So Nick
(01:29:42):
dunlap rose to. Fame he's one of the best college
golfers and last year as an, amateur he won A
Pga tour. Event now he doesn't get the, money but
immediately he gets onto the tour if he wants to turn,
pro he has that. Right the minute he decides to turn,
pro he goes right in to THE pga toy doesn't
have to go, down and then he won again later
(01:30:03):
on that, year and he played yesterday in The masters
and shot a. Ninety he was eighteen over. Par it's
officially five shots off the worst score, set which was
(01:30:23):
set in fifty. Six Charlie kunkle shot a ninety. Five
it was one of those days where you, think but
you know what my, prediction bounce back day to, day
he won't make the, cut but watch him shoot in
the sixties and have one of those days where you're, like,
YES i know exactly What i'm. Doing and he's a
hell of a golfer and he's got TWO Pga tour,
(01:30:44):
wins but this is one of those days gets in your.
Head whoa three, two, three, five three, eight twenty four
to twenty three At Chad Benson, show is your ex
and your in stuff coming? Up our Buddy Jim, Kennedy
kennedy into public, policies your, research, joints the Program it
is The Chad Benson, Show Sudden cheat At Benson, Joe.
Speaker 1 (01:31:20):
The Chad Benson.
Speaker 2 (01:31:22):
Show it's that time of the. Week we talked to
her About Jim. Kennedy kennedy In Public Policy. RESEARCH a
little snapshot look back from the week that it was,
sweet dig out of the insanity of, politics And jim
over to you when it comes to, tariffs what do
you think is going to? Happen what do you Think
is this going to be a full out trade? War
(01:31:43):
is she going to fight With? Trump the pissing contest
that is going to last an.
Speaker 20 (01:31:48):
Eternity, WELL i would like to hope That trump has a.
PLAN i think he. Does they came to this conclusion
a day or so, ago because you kind of got
to break it into two. Battles it's The china battle
and it's the rest of the world. Battle the rest
of the world battle is fairly easy to. Solve you
basically get all these. People remember he said he's got
fifty negotiators From japan coming, over he said the other
(01:32:09):
night to degree with. Them didn't negotiate with. Them in
a matter of probably three weeks or a, month you
can sort out all of these terriffs with the you,
know the other forty nine or one hundred and forty three,
nation whatever it is that he slapped tariff's. ON i
don't know who's going to, nuciate negotiate for the. Penguins
that's a different. Problem we can worry about that one.
Later but when you get that put, together basically you make.
(01:32:30):
Peace everybody shakes hands and goes merrily, along and we
resume trade with WITH eu And asia and everybody else Except.
CHINA i hope that what he thinks is part of
that is to also, say, look we need to also
work together against the global enemy of, trade which Is.
China china's in a very bad. Spot she can't she,
(01:32:51):
stuck she can't, determine she can't really do a lot with,
this And trump's putting in a bad spot with.
Speaker 15 (01:32:58):
THIS i know.
Speaker 20 (01:32:58):
That my understanding is they've been dumping treasury holdings because
they're trying to DRIVE us rates up because they, are you,
know ticked off At trump for what he's done to
them with the. Terriffts SO i think he wants to
unite the world Against china as the great global trade.
Monster and the problem is is that if you Put
china into a, corner because their economics are so bad
(01:33:19):
right now and they're not going to get any better over,
Time they're sitting on a ton of debt AND i
don't know where they're going to basically be able to
get out of. This do you push she so far
that he does a military? STRIKE i, mean is there
something where where you, know if you put an animal
on a, corner it's going to strike back at. You
and that's the problem that we've got to find a
way to negotiate a deal With china with the rest
of the, world but not to the point where we
(01:33:41):
basically bankrupt she or he thinks he's losing so much
face that he doesn't have any, control or he thinks
that he's going to get pushed out because he's proven
to be uneffective in this.
Speaker 2 (01:33:49):
Matter you, know it's funny as is talking to my you,
know our financier Guy. Zach he doesn't know what the
endgame would be, either because the reality of an endgame
Being china comes to the. Table everything, Square we're gonna
that's just not gonna. Happen what is the endgame? Here
because not like you said at some, point because he's
got huge issues and one of the things you AND
(01:34:11):
i have talked about in the, past he's got massive
unemployment amongst the. Youth the youth will cause chaos if
it gets much. Worse he's got to figure something, out
but he also can't be seen as. Weak so what
would the endgame actually. Be are we honestly willing to
go to the mat and just say screw, it let's
just the whole. World it's us or, them and if
(01:34:34):
you're with, us you're.
Speaker 20 (01:34:35):
Decoupling yeah, AGAIN i don't, know you, KNOW i haven't
played out all of the all of the mental games
on it to exactly are on the point counterpoint and
we do, this he does, that he does, This we
do that type of. SITUATION i only get to the
point where they either negotiate down some, tariffs but that
that just makes them worse, economically or we just get
(01:34:57):
to the point Where trump just puts him in such
a bad economic corner that they just basically try to
they just deflect, it and they just go After. Taiwan one,
morning we just wake up and there's one hundred and
forty seven ships going To taiwan and The People's Liberation
Air forces basically you, know trying to take our command
and control and type and that could be the end.
Game and FOR i, mean it doesn't seem like it
(01:35:18):
would get that, far but he doesn't have a lot of.
Options he's not going to have a lot of waste
to negotiate himself out of this If trump pushes him too.
Speaker 2 (01:35:25):
Far it's just it's a fascinating thing when you think,
about we're putting tariffs on there because you're treating. Us
they're not going to. Change they're not going to stop
trying to steal our intellectual, property strying to you, know
to hack into any military thing they possibly. Can they're
not going to stop any of those things that they're already.
Doing so if we're honest and we're serious about, it
(01:35:47):
we shouldn't fund anything more that they. Do that's going
to help create a monster bigger than it already, is
and we should be ballsy enough to, say, nope we're
done period.
Speaker 20 (01:35:56):
Case we're also playing other cards we've. Got we've GOT
sect down In panama trying to it's create a you,
know a joint resolution with them for for defense and
control or not, control but defense of The Panama. Canal
it looks like The, unfortunately remember there was a sale
where They blackrock was going to buy the operating company
that controls the each end of the, canal But china's
(01:36:17):
trying to block that on anti trust. Grounds And i'm
sure if they're going to be allowed to sell, that
because the government's saying, no you're not allowed to sell
that To. BLACKROCK i know, why because they don't want
to lose control of that. Asset not about anti, trust
but they can call it whatever you want when you're
in a communist or and you're in an authoritarian. Government
so we're trying to back it up on that. Side but,
YEAH i don't really don't know how this ends well
(01:36:37):
for she at this. Point AND i, said just Hope
trump understands somebody's got somebod who's, playing you, know geopolitical,
chess you, know to him to. Explain, look you can push,
him but you got to get him a way. Out
if he doesn't have a way, out you, know he's
just not going to. Capitulate he, will you, know he's
got to do something to look strong to his, people,
because like you, said there's lots of unemployed, youth and
(01:36:59):
YOUTH i idle hands of the youth would have brought
down more than one government in the last fifty.
Speaker 2 (01:37:04):
Years absolutely talking To, Kennedy kennedy answered To Public Policy,
research The Saves act that passes it's going to die
in The senate but it passed and even had Two
democrats get on board with that.
Speaker 20 (01:37:17):
Thing Kim jeffrey was quite upset about, that about The
democrats helping them, out and whether it passes or not is.
INTERESTING i, mean voter ideas already IN i don't know
twenty three. States scotis has backed it. Up the left
continues to throw really bad arguments about, it about it's,
racist it's you, know it's. Disenfranchising what the left army
throws out to as their sample case would be a
(01:37:38):
ninety five year Old African american woman who grew up
in a town In mississippi where the courthouse got burned
down during the racial strife riots of the. Sixties there's
no copy of Her burstivia because all the vital records
were burned when they burned the county. Courthouse and you,
know she's never had a bank, account she's never, driven
she's never had public. Assistance all of these. Things you
get one, person they line. Up see this is the
(01:37:59):
tip Of, no it's not the typical. Person, yes it
is probably a problem that she can but how about
you say, this tell you what you can prove to.
Me you're over eighty, five you don't need VOTER id
or maybe even over eighty if you want. TO i
think that's going to close out that, problem and Then
i'll shoot down that case for. Them that's typical one
THAT i see the left bring up and throw out.
There you, know why is the left fighting so hard
(01:38:20):
against VOTER? Id they have for twenty years.
Speaker 2 (01:38:22):
Now the whole VOTER id thing is such a bizarre.
Situation Where AS i said, Earlier oh My, JOAN i
can't go and Get suita fed without giving like, everything you,
know like MY, dna and it's like a twenty three
and me test with my fingerprints and a retinal scan
and all of this, stuff and it's it's. Ridiculous and
(01:38:43):
it's also playing only to one. Group you're not talking About,
Asians you're not talking about you, Know, latinos you're talking
really about it's the same. Argument it's always about Black.
Speaker 20 (01:38:54):
Americans, yes that's the case that they always bring. Up
you have to question with the leftist trying to find
a way to get around registration or basically trying to you,
know maybe make elections less secure by the fact they
don't want VOTER.
Speaker 2 (01:39:06):
Id, yeah it's crazy talking to, You Kennedy Kennedy INSTITUE
Pug Policy. RESEARCH i talked about it all week BECAUSE
i just think it's. FASCINATING i think it's awesome when
ilways talking about where we live in the greatest country
and the greatest time in human, history and we have dire. Wolves,
now how Can? Trump If I'm, TRUMP i want those
dire wolves full, grown AND i want them by my
side all the, time and every TIME i call, SHE
(01:39:27):
i just wanted to.
Speaker 9 (01:39:27):
Go we have.
Speaker 2 (01:39:28):
Dinosaurs we got like old timey gone. Dead we brought
them back to. Life. Dinosaur what do you think of?
Speaker 33 (01:39:35):
That?
Speaker 20 (01:39:35):
She knowing, she you'd probably try to start an operation
to steal one of them or to capture. One probably
sounds Very chinese to, them or it sounds very very
much along THE ccp. Guidelines but, no it's great the
thing THAT i you, know, yes and you have been
very absolutely been obsessed with them all. Week it has.
Speaker 2 (01:39:54):
Been it's better than. Tariffs it's far more.
Speaker 20 (01:39:58):
Interesting it is question is is? Again AND i don't
want to be a stick in the. Butt Is? Well
first of, all did you not Watch JURASSIC?
Speaker 2 (01:40:06):
Parka that was my first, Question like none of you
in here have ever seen a, Movie you're The Jurassic,
park any of that. MOVIE i, mean it's come, on,
guys it doesn't end.
Speaker 20 (01:40:18):
Well the second part is, is of, course IS i
want to bring up the ethical aspect of. It it's you,
know we have a problem In. America it's not just,
this and Something i've been thinking about for a while
about we have a problem In america with can versus? Should,
yes SURE i can do a lot of, things but SHOULD?
I and that's the, question should you be doing? This
and are you messing with? Stuff you? Know i'm a you,
(01:40:40):
Know I'm i'm a, Conservative i'm A i'm A. Catholic
and are you messing stuff that's better left To? God
is as AS i might, Say AND i think IT'S
i think there's certainly uses for it if it's if
it's applied to like research and. Things but then you've
got to start wondering is it fair to the animals
and the ethical constraints of, This AND i know they're
working on weally as, also AND i think there's a
(01:41:01):
couple of other things well there.
Speaker 2 (01:41:02):
RY i, beanback was that the, thighlacine which is the uh?
God what is? It Uh tasmanian, Tiger tasmanian. Tiger because
they feel like some of these. Things WHEN i, LISTENED
i think his name Is Ben, lamb that some of these,
things we as human beings played a. Role their time
(01:41:23):
wasn't done if it wasn't for, Us so can we
play a role in bringing some of them? Back and
ALSO i think there is a portion of this obviously
they'll be you, know are we going to be able
to regrow limbs or certain, things you, know. Organs that's
obviously something that they're looking.
Speaker 20 (01:41:41):
At, yes and that is something that is making progress
but is not on that line. Yet as somebody who
has needs a new, Hip i've been inquiring about, that and,
unfortunately based upon you know where my hip, is the doctor, said,
no you're gonna. Do you're going to need to get
a replacement because they're just we haven't gotten the technology
to that point where you can completely rebuild.
Speaker 2 (01:42:01):
Him did you tell? Him CAN i get a dire?
Wolf Then i'll. Do you replace my legs in hip
with dire wolves And i'll just ride around on.
Speaker 20 (01:42:09):
Them i've seen some people that are inquiring if we're
gonna bring back dire, wolves does that mean they're gonna
reshoot the final the final season Of game Of.
Speaker 2 (01:42:16):
Thrones it's JUST i, MEAN i love, it and you're
right about the ethical side of. STUFF i see where that,
is and everybody here does also the is it really
a dire? Wolf it's as close as we're gonna. Get
if you go see a wooly mammoth that they bring,
back are you really gonna? Go is that just an
elephant with long hair that's twice the? Size you? Know come,
on at some, point this is the best we're gonna
be able to do for. Now but this technology is gonna.
(01:42:38):
Grow AND i also think we are pushing the limits
of certain, things and that's a good thing that we
have it under, control or at least under our. Watch
comparatively TO i don't, know giving money to one group
who then goes over To china and gives it to,
them who then unleashes bat flu soup to the.
Speaker 20 (01:42:59):
World, well, yes there of course there is, that and
that actually is something that we that we need to
look at on a different. Problem but, yes we're not
looking to Do game Of function with with dire, wolves
that's hope. NOT i, mean there's the GUY i saw
years ago was crossing pythons with, rattlesnakes and it's, like
do we really need that in the. World, yeah that's
(01:43:21):
not that we need a thirty two foot rattle.
Speaker 2 (01:43:23):
SNACK i don't. Know that's something that seems like something
straight out of a horrific. Nightmare, yeah it's just like
that's just and there are some weird anomalies you, know
in the. Wild people may not know. This there are
there's something called a pisly, bear which is in certain
areas of The Great Northern Northern plains you will find
a grizzly bear and a polar bear that have made.
(01:43:44):
It and it's a it is that is a thing of. Nightmares,
right there's, ligers, Right those those aren't. Fake those are.
Speaker 20 (01:43:51):
Real.
Speaker 2 (01:43:51):
Now i'd like to see a, griffin but we're not there.
Speaker 20 (01:43:53):
YET i want to know if we're going to actually
be able to come up with the with a real abominable.
Speaker 2 (01:44:00):
Snowman you never. Know god willing we can, Man god
willing we. Can. Oh Jim Kennedy kenny is a public
