Speaker 1 (00:00):
The ZiT M Podcast Network. Hey, everybody, welcome to a
semi delayed Brian Clint after party. Because the person who
uploads these has gone to the Lord of the Rings
musical by herself. Those are who they are. Yeah, people

(00:21):
can just assume they can work it out.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Obviously, they'll know it's not me.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
Tell me because I've had sex before. Could be me,
get there, could be you could be me. The person
who's not here, could be me. But anyway, we persist.
How's everybody doing? You know, how's everybody feeling? There's I
think I worked out. I know I did work this out.
Six weeks until Christmas, five weeks left of the Brian

(00:49):
Clint Show. Ye, six Fridays.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
I've got about three days left.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
So we got three days and I've got three days.
Pick them well, pick them well, if you had to
do three days and be three Fridays, wouldn't.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
It three Fridays?

Speaker 1 (01:02):
For sure?

Speaker 2 (01:03):
Absolutely, Fridays are the best.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
Yeah, it's best day to work. Monday's best day to
take off. Yeah, okay, you're.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
Yeah true, Yeah, Monday definitely the best day to take off.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
Does anyone have any secrets to spill? Sound like you've
got a secret to spell. No, it's just one you
you've got a secret.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
What's your secret on me?

Speaker 1 (01:24):
What's your secret for heaveny ah? Man, this is boring.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
We need that person who's away. We need to come back.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
Yeah, he was just talking about a garden.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Oh that's not exactly. I've just gone on the garden rampage.
I'm just like, I'm just planting everything i can. And
this is the time to plant, you know, spring is
the time.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
Even before then, sometimes they recommend planting in winter for
the planting seasonally the roots. We're talking, we're talking planting
out with guys.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Guess what I've even got in my garden now? A
finger lime tree?

Speaker 1 (02:05):
What is that? A lime? It's a good thing to
have in your garden.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
I've got a huge so we've got a lime tree,
just a normal lime tree. But do you know what
a finger lime tree is. It's finger limes. It's it's
starting to build a lot of momentum in Australia. But
they're these little fruits and when you cut them open,
there's like little how would you like little Oh that's

(02:30):
not what I was Litle alls inside them, tubes like
little jubes. And then you squeeze that and all the
jubes go on your food. But it's like a burst
of lime when you eat them. Yeah, it's like a tree. Yeah,
it's a tree. Cool. Yeah, Okay, I have a lookout.
It's a big, big, big in Australia that has been

(02:51):
for them. I mean, I don't know how long.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
You were saying you're planting some marijuana as well.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
Yeah, planting the marijuana and tobacco seeds.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
You hit some hay and the seeds, the seeds come
over and the hat.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
That was a joke, PROMI.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
When I arrived today, when I arrived at weeksday, I
walked in the door and all goes, are we going
to have a bitter day today? Have you turned over?
And that was and I said, have you Ella?

Speaker 2 (03:25):
Ella? Had such a good burn on the actual podcast today,
as in you burn Clint so good the.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
Best time of the second time, the.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
First The first one was very good because it was
so quick and just so.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
You're too easy to wind up, so are you though? Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah,
that's fair. I think we feed into it and then
you The thing is you don't get mad. I get mad, Yes,
that I think that's what it comes down to wind
up and you go in and then it's gone. Yeah,
I saw you, fister.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
See I feel like I used to be like you,
and as I've got older, I just don't care anoint.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
It's like I told you when you started this job.
Nothing it doesn't matter, and nothing that we do is serious.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
Nothing serious, but it's but it also but it also
makes good radio if you get if you get wound up. Yeah,
I did make sure. I was like, was that too harsh? Nah,
we all have. We've been doing this job.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
You're going to hurt my feelings.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
You did, If I'm honest, you have hurt my feelings
once since you've been working here, when you critiqued me
when you were here for two weeks and then gave
me an air check and said some pretty harsh things.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
That didn't take that back. They didn't hit your feelings
at all.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
It was just weird. Like I feel like Clint and
I literally do you want to see I feel like
we know how we looked at each other when it
was happening. I feel like we looked at each other with.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
It's a weird. I'd love to find the audio. Not
anyone in this podcast group can PenPoint the podcast reward
on it. It's very early in Ella's tenure as our producer,
so it will be just after anastagily.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
Yes, yeah, it'll be around the time when like ever
want to hear that if someone finds it.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
We should put a reward on it Ella reviewing our performance.
It's called ear chicking in the business.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
Yeah, as Ella would know that because she kicked it,
kicked it off.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
You find it for us, and then we will ear check,
will ear chick the ear chick?

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Do you pull like I just hit such a whoop.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
No, we get it, we get it. I thought it
was that like like, but obviously not. No, no, no, yeah,
it can be. It can be. Yeah, it's the it's
the it's the and I've experienced it a few times.
It's just mess reading the dynamic, I think, and I
had it. Don't feel too bad when I worked at

(05:58):
the day.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
Don't worry, it's not just you.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
We hired a new newsreader for the breakfast show, and
the news reader was quite integrated into the breakfast show.
They were like a character and the breakfast show was
silly and fun and the person they hired was coming.
It was coming from deep in like South Canterbury and
had done the interview like online, this is before zooms,

(06:24):
probably on the phone the interview and they got the
job and they showed up for their first day of
work at the Edge, which is a radio station, just
like in a full suit. They showed up to read
the news in a full suit. Bless their heart. Who
was that person? Is now a very successful podcaster international podcast,

(06:48):
but we never let him live it down. So the person,
it's an endearing story. He's a great guy too. Yeah,
that's it's not a bad star. It's fine. His names
Andy and he hosts give us podcast a plug. Actually
he hosts The Good, The Bed and the Rugby Australia
A and.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
Z bless blessed.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
He's a good man. And it was I was kind
of heartbreaking to see. No, that's endearing, just ship. We
guys were thinking, why did they hire her? Literally we
were no, we weren't look we were thinking you were thinking, No,
you're not what we were thinking. Genuinely, we were thinking
this bitch.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
I a little bit was like, this bitch really has
no idea what's going on?

Speaker 1 (07:39):
And I will.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
Say, we're very proud of you and you've come so
far and.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
And your ear check is coming.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
