Speaker 1 (00:04):
Then we're getting some big celebrities for our podcast. We
had recently Jeremy Wells.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Yes, my daughter's Paasadi Packasati.

Speaker 1 (00:12):
And now we've got how Too Dad on the phone,
Jordan Watson, Cura, mate, mate.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
Mate, mate, you're meant to go like you went. You dipped,
your voice dipped like man.

Speaker 4 (00:20):
We've had some big and now we've got how Too Dad,
And then we've really hit rock bottom.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
You've scraped, you've scraped the barrel and you've found a
little bit of fungus going and it's me, Well.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
You're on the main podcast, that's our main channel. You're
actually here on a side quist to settle a debate.

Speaker 4 (00:36):
There's a debate that's been going on in our show
for a number of weeks about you, yes.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
And how old you are?

Speaker 3 (00:45):
Going to be a debate about your feet.

Speaker 4 (00:47):
We don't talk about those on our show, trying to
get footage of them.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
Now old did you just say how old I am?

Speaker 2 (00:53):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (00:54):
Yeah, your age?

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Jordan.

Speaker 4 (00:56):
When I think of you and Clint, you guys have
done a podcast together. You've talked about lots of intimate
details about each other and your kids and all that
kind of stuff you would think sex lives, you would think, yeah,
all that stuff. You'd think Clinton Roberts should know how
old you are?

Speaker 3 (01:13):
Yeah, you would, And I would say we talked like
he should. He's being ditsy right now, twenty twenty five.
Can I say ditsy? I have no idea he's been
ditsy and he definitely knows my age and forgot it.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
Yeah, I do.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
Breez making me doubt myself.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
I think I'm right. He thinks he's right.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
But what I think, what I'm offended by is if
Brie thinks I'm much older than what I am.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
She does. See, I know, mate, I think I'm spot
on the.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
Money because you're you're twenty two, aren't you.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Oh see now he's made me feel bad. No, I
think I'm right.

Speaker 4 (01:46):
I don't feel bad about saying the age I think
that you are because I think you are this age,
whereas I think Clint's wrong.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
Yeah, okay, okay, well people usually people usually over age
me for the fact I have three daughters and straight up, so.

Speaker 4 (02:00):
I'm trying to throw me off the sin. You're trying
to throw me off the sin. I'm going to stick
to my guns.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
You we're both going to say the age that we
think it is. Don't react, and then we'll get the
results from you. Ye, Bree, you go first.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Jordan Watson, how to, Dad?

Speaker 4 (02:13):
I think you are thirty seven turning thirty eight this year.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Lock it in, Jordan, how too, Dad, Watson, I think
you're thirty seven turning thirty eight at the beginning of
next year.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
So that's what I've said a lot, haven't I have.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
I've said a year younger than me. You said a
year younger than me?

Speaker 2 (02:33):
Is he fucking gas lighting me? Right now? You said
he was my age, yes, which is not that.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Oh, it's like two years off.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
So say what you said?

Speaker 1 (02:45):
Well, he's your age, which is in the bracket between
thirty five and thirty eight our age.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
See, this is fucking bolls.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
Should just say before he reveals it, and sorry to
take up your time with this arguing. Jordan, I consider
us the same age. I know you don't. No, I
can you and me the same way.

Speaker 4 (03:01):
I know what you're saying, but technically we are not
the same age. Yeah, but ultimately I'm over two years
younger than you.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
Right, he's still here, Jordan Watson, please reveal your age currently.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
I am thirty seven, and the big deciding factor is
will I turn thirty eight at the end of this
year or the beginning of next year.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
Answer is, come on, show me the money, right.

Speaker 4 (03:31):
Yes, this is fucking bullshit because he said that you
were thirty five is what he first said.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
And then he's like, oh, probably asked me two years ago.

Speaker 4 (03:41):
This was producers, producers, someone helped me. I'm being gaslet,
I'm being gasolin.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
Can you talk about this like three weeks ago?

Speaker 3 (03:49):
Yes, Hey, guys, I've got to just have a sick
to me. I've got to go. They just calling me
in now. So if you let me go and you
guys just carry on.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
How we can let you go.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
I'll just check doing anything else. From Jordan No, okay,
love you bab Sea.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
Letter by Jordan.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
Okay, don't you hate it when as a couple you
fight in front of your friends? Isn't that the worst thing?
When you go to a party, and like.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
It's even worse when you get gas liped by your
friend in front of your friend.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
I don't feel like I'm gaslighting you because I would
age have changed in my mind.

Speaker 4 (04:23):
You know why you're the ultimate gas slider because and
you love this right, You're the ultimate gas lighter because
in the end, you gaslights so hard that you believe yourself.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
You think I'm gaslighting myself.

Speaker 4 (04:38):
You're you end up gaslighting so hard that you believe
is am I that's.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
Such a funny.

Speaker 4 (04:45):
Yeah, So technically, if it is gas lighting because you
believe they say, they say, and sorry to talk over
you again, but they say, that's the way to be
the light detictor test as just believe what you're saying.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
Yeah, because the light detictor can't tell of it's the
truth not, It can only tell if you think you
believe it.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
Yeah, you would definitely pass. It goes back to.

Speaker 5 (05:07):
The game that Claudia made up and brought to the show,
and Clint literally thought he made this game?

Speaker 2 (05:14):
Game is what do you think they are? It goes back.

Speaker 4 (05:19):
It goes back to Friday Oki, where Clint truly believe
that he had created it.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
And the only reason that it was that there was
any sway was there was high I will settle for
co creation.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
You did not.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
You actually tried to put a handbrake on it. You're like,
I don't know if that will work. Guess shut up.

Speaker 5 (05:44):
Actually audio that was the first time I actually got
angry at you, like you left that day.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
With yeah, the Claudia game.

Speaker 5 (05:52):
I was like fuming.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
I remember, Okay, guys, I guess I'll just shut the
fuck up.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
Then Yeah, finally.

Speaker 1 (06:00):

The Burden

The Burden

The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three). Maggie had come to believe that the entire investigation of David was botched by the tiny local police department, or worse, covered up the real killer. Was Maggie correct? Was David’s claim of innocence credible? In Death and Deceit in Alliance, Maggie recounts the case that launched her career, and ultimately, “broke” her.” The results will shock the listener and reduce Maggie to tears and self-doubt. This is not your typical wrongful conviction story. In fact, it turns the genre on its head. It asks the question: What if our champions are foolish? Season 4 - The Burden: Get the Money and Run “Trying to murder my father, this was the thing that put me on the path.” That’s Joe Loya and that path was bank robbery. Bank, bank, bank, bank, bank. In season 4 of The Burden: Get the Money and Run, we hear from Joe who was once the most prolific bank robber in Southern California, and beyond. He used disguises, body doubles, proxies. He leaped over counters, grabbed the money and ran. Even as the FBI was closing in. It was a showdown between a daring bank robber, and a patient FBI agent. Joe was no ordinary bank robber. He was bright, articulate, charismatic, and driven by a dark rage that he summoned up at will. In seven episodes, Joe tells all: the what, the how… and the why. Including why he tried to murder his father. Season 3 - The Burden: Avenger Miriam Lewin is one of Argentina’s leading journalists today. At 19 years old, she was kidnapped off the streets of Buenos Aires for her political activism and thrown into a concentration camp. Thousands of her fellow inmates were executed, tossed alive from a cargo plane into the ocean. Miriam, along with a handful of others, will survive the camp. Then as a journalist, she will wage a decades long campaign to bring her tormentors to justice. Avenger is about one woman’s triumphant battle against unbelievable odds to survive torture, claim justice for the crimes done against her and others like her, and change the future of her country. Season 2 - The Burden: Empire on Blood Empire on Blood is set in the Bronx, NY, in the early 90s, when two young drug dealers ruled an intersection known as “The Corner on Blood.” The boss, Calvin Buari, lived large. He and a protege swore they would build an empire on blood. Then the relationship frayed and the protege accused Calvin of a double homicide which he claimed he didn’t do. But did he? Award-winning journalist Steve Fishman spent seven years to answer that question. This is the story of one man’s last chance to overturn his life sentence. He may prevail, but someone’s gotta pay. The Burden: Empire on Blood is the director’s cut of the true crime classic which reached #1 on the charts when it was first released half a dozen years ago. Season 1 - The Burden In the 1990s, Detective Louis N. Scarcella was legendary. In a city overrun by violent crime, he cracked the toughest cases and put away the worst criminals. “The Hulk” was his nickname. Then the story changed. Scarcella ran into a group of convicted murderers who all say they are innocent. They turned themselves into jailhouse-lawyers and in prison founded a lway firm. When they realized Scarcella helped put many of them away, they set their sights on taking him down. And with the help of a NY Times reporter they have a chance. For years, Scarcella insisted he did nothing wrong. But that’s all he’d say. Until we tracked Scarcella to a sauna in a Russian bathhouse, where he started to talk..and talk and talk. “The guilty have gone free,” he whispered. And then agreed to take us into the belly of the beast. Welcome to The Burden.
