(00:00):
Dana Lashes of Search Truth podcast sponsoredby Keltech. It's his laugh mission to
make bad decisions. It's time forFlorida man. This is literally the second
time in I think three years ortwo years, that this kind of story
(00:21):
has happened. So a Florida manwas arrested because he tried to run to
London across the Atlantic Ocean in ahomemade hamster wheel. Not making it up.
US Coast Guard intercepted Reza Bellucci aboutseventy miles off of Tybee Island,
Georgia, on August twenty six. They said that the forty four year old
(00:42):
marathon runner refused to leave the vesselfour days, and satellit had previously threatened
to kill himself. Now he hastried three I'm wonder I bet he was
the guy then that was in thestory. He's tried three similar voyages before,
all of which ended in Coast Guardinvention. The makeshift contraption that he
was using, it's shaped like awheel, has paddles that are designed to
(01:03):
propel it forward as the wheel revolves, and so they said that it was
not safe. It was manifestly unsafe, and they were prepared. This was
like right, before the hurricane arrived, so they got him. He refused
to leave his vessel. Then hesaid he had a bomb on board,
(01:23):
but he was arrested. They hehad no bomb and he was what drifting
thirty miles south of his departure points. So yeah, he had to be
rescued in twenty twenty one. Yeah, he tried to do this before in
twenty one. He also tried todo it again before that in twenty fourteen.
I don't know why I get.I get this guy's a death wish.
(01:44):
I think he needs help. GoodHeavens, let's see this. Oh,
let's uh. A man gets twelveyears in prison after he drove his
truck through an ale. There's anACE hardware. I like those Ace hardware
commercials. That's not the story. This guy drove his truck through one floor.
A man named Lionel Medina got atwelve year prison term he ran into
(02:06):
ramdass truck into an ACE hardware. He was just sentenced though yesterday. The
crime happened last year. It wasall caught on camera. He forced his
way into the store and was ableto grab as much stuff as he could
before fleeing the scene. Thousands ofdollars of stuff. Clearly, because it
was all on video, they wereable to easily identify his vehicle and identify
(02:27):
him, and they arrested him.And now he's going he's going to the
pokey. But oh my gosh, like everything is on camera nowadays, it's
the dumbest way to Were you wantingto get called? Like I didn't even
understand, Like, how would you? What is the point of that?
I mean, were you wanting toget captured? Doesn't make any sense.
Let's see this da da oh.One guy got he got an assault charge
(02:50):
because he threw repeatedly through snickers ata manager's face in Walgreens because he was
denied the sale of cigarettes. Igotta say this before you tomorrow because I
don't know how many sniggers he through, but it was a lot of them.
He ended up getting arrested. Doesit seem like every time you turn

everything that they have experienced, thatI'm certainly not the first transferson to ever
(04:21):
be attacked by elements in the mediato be used, and unfortunately, I
don't think I'll be the last. But I want people to know that it's
never okay for that kind of scrutinyon a person just because of their identity,
just because I'm trans. And Ihope that you know, even if
(04:44):
there's one person out that there thatfeels that their identities being attacked, that
it's okay to be who they areand it's never okay to be attacked to
their identity, whether it's because oftheir race, their gender identity, their
sexual orientation, religion, or creed. That every day that they can be
themselves is a good day for us. All. Oh my gosh, So
(05:08):
this's MSNBC talking to this dude becauseit is a dude. That's a dude
who is discussing his the suit that'sagainst what's going on with Kappa Kapagamma.
If you have, I know y'allheard of the story. First off,
welcome back to the program, Dania, last year with you, and we're
(05:28):
at the top of our second hourhere and this story I because you know,
like everybody's going back to school andyou know, it's what is It
isn't a bammer rush week or somethinglike that or their rush period, and
so this there was there was alawsuit that was filed by seven sorority sisters
of Kappa Kappagamma, and they areupset because this dude joined their sorority.
(05:59):
And the dude joined it was likekind of forcibly, like it wasn't it
was sort of forced on them, and they weren't really given a choice.
Say, choices are arbitrary for women. Apparently, the sisters wrote that they
were blindsided by this at this universitywhen this guy was allowed to join,
(06:25):
they said they brought up privacy andsafety concerns and they were either told to
be quiet or they would have tochange their definition of a woman. And
this is at the University of Wyoming. They alleged that he would stare silently
at them as they changed, becamevisibly aroused, asked repeated NonStop intimate questions
(06:49):
of the young women and if theyyou know. Apparently, because they felt
uncomfortable with this, as anybody would, they were called bigots and told that
they were attacking him because he's transgender. He's accused of taking photos without their
(07:10):
permission at a slumber party, askingthem what their genitals look like, all
kinds of stuff. All of thesegirls are saying that this is what would
that they had to deal with. And he has already been on the record
saying that he's still attracted to women, because remember, the whole trans issue
(07:34):
is what you identify as, butnot necessarily what you're attracted to. And
so they said that this individual, this guy, he's been making them feel
entirely uncomfortable for quite a long time. And the sister said that the sorority
(07:55):
changed its criteria to allow him toapply. The lawyer said that, well,
you know, the definition of awoman has changed, it's evolved,
and that the term is open tointerpretations. And they accuse the women who
feel uncomfortable and vulnerable of being bigots. They're smearing them, is what it
(08:16):
is. And it is just Imean, oh my gosh, there's like
so many of these like stories thatthey have of this guy. Bottom line
though, is this is a sororityand they shouldn't have to accommodate this this
(08:37):
dude. They shouldn't have to accommodatethis guy. And that's what gets me
with us, because women are alwaystold you have to accommodate the guy.
You if you feel if the guyfeels uncomfortable, then that's you know,
he's got to be accommodated. Butif the woman feels uncomfortable, then she's
a bigot and you're being ignorant tothis guy, you're being scriminatory, etcetera,
(09:01):
etcetera, etcetera. I mean, this is this guy's name is Artemis
Langford. And you know the theaudio that we played for you, he
was on MSNBC and they portrayed thesethese women as you know, these horrible
bigots. That's how they portrayed them. They're horrible, horrible, mean bigots.
(09:24):
And he's just the sky who's oh, bless his hard he's just you
know, going through all of thisstuff and they're so mean. But I
mean, when you look at theseries of allegations that they have made,
uh, these sworn statements, Imean, this is wild. You know
what gets me. And I wastalking to my son who's in college,
(09:46):
and he was saying that, oh, yeah, we had to watch this,
you know video about Title nine andall this stuff. But when notice
how it's no, there's never anyvideo shown about it because it's all about
versus women. What about men whoare dressing up as women and taking advantage
of women in this way? Inthese very vulnerable spaces. I mean,
(10:07):
they can't even feel comfortable in theirdorms. They can't even feel comfortable.
This is just it's just ridiculous. The women said that if the sorority wanted
to admit men, then they shouldchange the organization formally, through the proper
processes. I also think this isa bait and switch. I mean,
when you join a sorority, Imean, when you rush and you join
a sorority and you make that kindof commitments, it's not I mean,
(10:31):
that's a huge investment of your time, a major investment of your time and
your emotions into this and getting toknow these women. And if the sorority
is going to change this after thefact, that's a bait and switch to
me. I mean they should havelet these women know. You don't just
do this in the middle of itand say, oh, by the way,
women, now we're going to admitmen who identify as women. You
(10:52):
can't do that to sorority sisters. You can't do that to women who who
joined in good faith thinking that thiswas going to be a sisterhood. It's
not a sisterhood when one of themhas a schlan. Okay, that's a
dude. It's a dude. Itwould be the same if a woman tried
to intervene in a man's space. It would be a bait and switch.
(11:13):
It'd be it would be a completebait and switch. But all these accusations,
I mean, this guy's lucky hedidn't get his ass kicked. I
gotta tell you these, I mean, these are nice ladies, because I
think i'd have beaten him an upsidethe head with a frying pan. I
really would have someone who is prayingup on you in your space like this.
So this, yeah, this ArtemisLangford, and he's actually and you
(11:37):
know, and especially some of thesorority sisters who are coming in, they
are i mean younger than him.Obviously, the judge had rejected there the
sister's lawsuit. They said that thecourt isn't going to define a woman.
Well, the court doesn't need todefine what a woman is because science has
already done that. Science has alreadydefined what it is. Science knows what
(11:58):
they know what a woman is.Science knows what women are. But that
organizations thy lawns don't define what awoman is. And this guy's just is
still I mean, I think thewomen should leave. Honestly, they should
just leave the sorority at this point, every one of them should leave.
And I just this is it's thisis insane. But they said that Kappa
(12:24):
Kappa Gamma has two has over twohundred and fifty thousand members in one hundred
forty chapters, and they're like,we're not going to discriminate against gender identity.
No, you are discriminating though, because what you're doing is you lied
to the women who joined your sororityand thinking that it was the sisterhood,
and now you're going to go backand try to wreckon that. That's not
fair. You've heard me rave aboutthe Celtic KSG shotgun for a long time,
(12:46):
and the fact is I cannot sayenough good things about it. I
mean, the KSG is the onethat started at all, made ordinary shotguns
obsolete and still reigned supreme. Butthe big reason I keep raving about it
is I'm also the proud owner ofone at least, and trust me,
I really put the KSG to thetest before adding it to my collection.
(13:07):
It's perfect for home defense or tacticalsituations. And this twelve gauge is a
reliable go to that's easy to handlefor everyone. The KSG shotgun is the
first twelve gauge pump action shotgun chamberfor three in shells and with dual two
magazines, offers a capacity of twelveplus one. It's downward shell ejection makes
the KSG truly embidextrous and eject shellsaway from your face. It's compact,
(13:28):
lightweight, and easy to maneuver andcontrol. Learn more about the KSHG shotgun

of the news you would probably miss. It's time for Dana's Quick five.
So the Stones have their first studioalbum in eighteen years called Hackney Diamonds.
(13:52):
That's actually was a bit of itthat we've played coming in. They are
preparing to release their first album oforiginal material in eighteen years. It's a
bigger bang from O five the groupapparently, I guess they're what they're gonna
be. They live streamed it.They're live streaming it exclusively today the event
where they're I guess previewing the restof the album. But they said that
(14:13):
I, well, you know thismeans too, there's going to be a
tour probably right, I don't know. I mean it's without Charlie Wattson.
I don't know. Like I'm madeof opinions because I dig the Stones,
but I also love blues based rock, and I don't I don't know,
Like I was talking about the guitartone, I don't want to, you
know, being that I'm a horriblerhythm guitar player. So I don't feel
like I don't know anyway, it'sa whole other subject. I'm torn about
(14:35):
this. Steve and I were likeabout ready to dive into a big o
conversation about it before we went beforewe actually came back on air. All
right, So a review this justseems kind of obvious. A review of
over a thousand studies indicates that exercisecan actually be more effective than counseling or
medication for depression. Well, duh, I mean just the endorphins and all
the good stuff that your body releaseswhen you're working out. I just know
(14:56):
that it's cathartic. I mean,if I'm you know, throwing weights around,
I feel so much better afterwards, and I feel, you know,
like less like tearing off people's limbsand beating them with them for saying something
stupid on the internet. It's goodfor you. Go out and do it.
No, I mean like lift weights. Don't do it. I just
not the latter thing. Fucking youneed to clarify that the US has fifty
two million airbag inflators should be recalledover a rupture threat. Oh great,
(15:18):
so the US Auto Safety Regulators saidthat fifty two million of these. They
were supplied by Arc Automotive and DelphiAutomotive. They have to be recalled because
they could rupture. Metal, fragmentscould fly, et cetera, et cetera,
et cetera. They said that they'vebeen used in vehicles from two thousand
through early twenty eighteen from GM,Ford, Toyota, Hondai, Kia,
(15:43):
Mercedes, Benz, BMW, Volkswagen, basically all of them, all the
cars. So just look it.Look it up. Go look it up,
because you might be affected. Nobodywants shards of metal. Nobody wants
anything like that. Gary Busey wasapparently involved in a hit and run accident
in Malibu. What a California headline, very California headline. And Texas Republicans
(16:03):
are putting it. Kim Paxson onit. He's going on it has his
trial that he's kind of a witch'skind of it's a witch hunt too,
the Republican firebrand ag of Texas. He's facing these goofy charges of corruption and
abuse of public trust. It's hisimpeachment trial. It kicked off yesterday.
Yeah, that's what they're doing insteadof lowering property Texas. Yeah, we
had a lot more on the waystick with us. We were discussing this
(16:25):
a little earlier. This situation withLiberty Safe. So Liberty Safe they advertise
themselves and ash and they used toadvertising on the show. I don't believe
that they do anymore. Which that'snot going to make a difference than me
commenting on this. They said theywere advertised as America's number one heavy duty
(16:47):
home and gun safe manufacturer. Now, they said that they issued this statement
late last night where they said thatthey gave the FBI an access code to
a customer's gun safe and response toa request on August thirtieth, and they
said that the request came Jennifer vanLaw at RedState has a really good chronological
timeline of this. The request camedrawing a raid on this guy's home.
(17:11):
It was a guy who attended theprotest on January sixth, right and the
protests people broke there was there werepeople who decided to get violent and carry
out a riot. Now, thisindividual, the incident to which they are
referring, this individual was apparently thereand they wanted they were investigating Nathan Hughes.
(17:38):
He's based out of Arkansas, andso they were looking into his attendance
at the protests. And there's avideo of them apparently like arriving at his
house and all of this stuff. They had him in handcuffs, et cetera.
He's a small business owner. Andthey said that the FBI turned off
his security cameras, they plugged hisinternet, They went through his house.
(18:02):
Then they called the manufacturer of hisLiberty Gun Safe and they got the pass
code. Now the individual because Iwas looking at some of the it was
like some of the charges, theysaid that he was interfering in I guess
like enforcement there the day of theriot, et cetera. And uh,
(18:23):
but they said that they got hisaccess code. And I'm trying to figure
out because I just keep thinking ofhow Apple like wouldn't even cooperate with our
government. Do you remember this wasI think this was in San Bernardino.
(18:44):
Do you remember the terrorists the couplewho opened fire at a holiday event and
killed a number of elderly people. It was a guy who was upset and
he remember this whole thing, andthat they had been getting these deliveries and
making weapons in their garage and neighborssaw what was happening, but they didn't
want to report it because they didn'twant to be accused of being racist and
(19:07):
all this stuff. And they hadgotten like that. I guess the FEDS
had gotten their phones, and theFeds had asked Apple if they could unlock
the phones and the phones and theApple said no, they weren't going to
cooperate, and there was a thatwas a huge news story, and I
just I mean, that was abig thing. They went back and forth
on that forever. Liberty Safe waslike, we'll just show us the warrant
and here we go. I Somy thing is they said that they have
(19:33):
access codes depending on the model, and I guess they're different from the model.
I don't know if it's just ubiquitousfor every safe. I guess that
there's a battery depending on what typeyou have at the battery fails, but
you have keys, Like even ifthe battery fails, you still have keys.
So I just don't understand why theystill have those those codes, why
they have those access codes, andwhy it doesn't I'm just curious as to
(19:57):
why they didn't resist it a littlebit more. Why did they even have
to be involved? Is my otherquestion, Like why did they Why did
Liberty Safe even have to be involvedin this? Because I mean, if
the FEDS wanted to access it,couldn't they just cut into the damn safe,
right? So why did they evenhave to get liberty Safe involved?
