Dana Lashes of Search Truth podcast sponsoredby Keltech. It's his laugh mission to
make bad decisions. It's time forFlorida man. Who boy? All right?
So first up a Florida and Florida. Someone crashed their suv into a
Florida another Florida man's pool. Mmmmm. A South Florida homeowner was very surprised
(00:25):
Friday night because someone drove their theirsuv through his fence and plunged it into
their swimming pool. Replete with video. The thing is is that it was
almost like tailgate up and then theyhad to pull it out it can you
imagine? Oh my gosh. Thankfullythere was like no fatalities. But I
mean that guy's property is you know, that's this is the that's a bummer.
(00:49):
Let's see. Also, a Floridaman was acute. Oh golly.
A Florida man was accused of pouringbleach into his coworkers drinks because he said
that they were difficult to work with. Now, I think everybody has had,
you know, like an issue withnot getting along with your fellow employees
or something like that. I thinkyou've everybody's worked a jobs somewhere. But
(01:11):
this was at the Dollar General,Like, how hard can it get?
You know, you're at the DollarGeneral and this dude, Jerome Ellis,
he's a de Land Dollar General employee. He was arrested on charges of poisoning
food or water and then tampering withevidence after video surveillance showed him literally pouring
bleach into a coworker's kin of pepsithe victim. He and the victim got
(01:33):
into an argument the day before. The victim told police that he thought that
Ellis was holding a grudge against him, and so the man told deputies that
he placed a pepsi he was drinkingon the counter and went to the restroom,
came back, and he said ittastes like bleach or cleaning supplies.
And they found that video the ofEllis, you know, pouring the bleach
in, but it also showed himtrying to unplug the camera system. So
when he was confronted about the videofootage, he said, oh, I
(01:55):
was cleaning it, and then hesaid he admitted finally he put cleaning solution
just to on the brim to getback at him for being difficult to work
with. That's not how that works. Did so he was booked in a
Lucia County jail. Can you imagine, Like, what's so stressful? What
at the Dollar General that you gotto do that? Like how bad was
that day to work with? It? Sounds like you're probably pretty bad,
you know. A Florida man accusedof murder and a squatter's den was captured.
(02:16):
Gosh, this headline keeps on giving. A Florida man accused of murder
and a squatter's den captured after copsbust him with cocaine cookies. Yeah,
so they responded to an empty homeMiami police and they found this a fatal
shooting victim. They said that therewas a squatter in this empty house.
(02:36):
People were calling the police. Theyinvestigated, Uh, and at forty five
year old lay March he was fidgeting. They found cocaine cookies, which the
article sadly never explains what those are. I immediately thought of like cookie monster.
By the way, he was booking. He's facing all kinds of charges.
But it's literally like, uh,you cook it into a cookie form,
the cocaine cookies, Like it's likethat's what it is. You cook
(03:00):
get into a cookie at the shipand that's the shape at the bottom of
the beaker and you make it ina Pyrex speaker. I actually look this
up because I've never heard of that. Does it seem like every time you
turn around or open up your wallet, you're shocked at the changes that have

story came out. It was aboutCongresswoman Lauren Bobert, who had been This
is a story that's been two weeksin the making. The story first came
(04:26):
out that she was ejected from atheater in Denver. It was a musical
performance of Beetlejuice. She was ejectedfrom the theater one evening a couple of
weeks ago. They apparently the waythat it came out was she had used
flash photography and was vaping, andthen she shouted at a security guard and
she gave another the middle finger, and she was like, do you know
(04:47):
who I am? Et cetera,et cetera, et cetera. Well,
now there's more that it's coming out. First off, theater isn'tneena enough without
you having to like add the vapingin the flash photography and you know some
of the other stuff that we see, right, I mean, it's already
annoying enough for people like me whodon't want to go see musicals. You
sure as hell are not enticing meto go and see one beetlejuice or not,
I mean for the love. Sonow it came out that she was
(05:14):
with her Democrat boyfriend Quinn Gallagher andhow do I say this base? Yeah,
he was going to second and thirdbase, both of them were.
He got a handy in the theaterand she basically was halfway top off all
on camera. And uh, Imean, I I just don't know.
(05:40):
Do you know how awkward it isto talk about people that you know like
this? This is weird. Thisis why I don't like being friends with
politicians, because eventually, at somepoint I have to talk about the stuff
that they do. This is oneof the reasons why I'm a hobbit and
I don't like to go to parties. I don't like to go to events.
I literally will dig myself into ahole and not come out because of
stuff like that. So, asit turns out, she really was ejected
(06:05):
I think for a little bit morethan vaping and something and some of this
other stuff. I mean, thefootage is pretty pretty bad. There's a
lot of touchy feely rubby stuff that'sout that shouldn't be in a theater.
And I don't know if it wasall ages. I don't know if there
(06:26):
were kids in there or not.I don't know. I mean, it's
Beetlejuice, so it was it's likea family friendly film anyway, and I
would imagine that it's in all ages. You know, it's not like,
you know, a rocky horror pictureshow. It's Beetlejuice. So she had
issued a statement. She said there'sno perfect blue print for going through a
public, difficult divorce. She saidshe was sorry, you know, the
past few days have been difficult andhumbling. Blah blah blah blah. Woah.
(06:50):
It is uh. I mean it'snot a good thing. I mean
she's he's like rubbing her chest, she's got a hand in the crotch.
I mean it's just bad. Itis bad, bad, bad, And
it's also bad how she handled itafter she was ejected from the theater.
So we gotta this is the otherthing, and this is what I mentioned.
(07:11):
I said this over the weekend quote. You're supposed to be angry or
over Bobert. Then the chick withthe chatter bet account in Virginia. So
Democrats can cancel out that controversy inVirginia and pick up two seats because that's
Susanna Gibson Lady. She's the Virginiacandidate for the House who didn't think to
maybe not publicly stream her and herhusband's marital sessions for money. I guess
(07:32):
thought that she could still do thatand run for office and no one would
find it. And when people foundit, she raised a fit and said
that her privacy was being violated becausepeople pointed out that she had publicly posted
videos on the Internet where people canwatch them, and people watch them.
So she said that people watching hervideos that she publicly posted on the Internet
for people to watch more and avision of her privacy. Okay, Now,
(07:55):
I didn't say you couldn't pass judgment. I never said that you couldn't
hold wildly misbehaving politicians responsible for violatinggood sense and values that are the foundation
of our ideology. I never saidyou couldn't do that. I was very
I just said the obvious about Democratsmotives. This is the party that had
(08:16):
no problem lionizing a guy who literallydrove a woman into a pond to die,
but that's all water under the bridgefor them. I mean. It
is also the party that had noproblem with the forty second president of the
United States using the Oval Office ashis own little champagne room for his favorite
intern close but no cigar. Sothey have no issue with adopting or skewing
(08:37):
any values as needed to attract voters, because you can't shame. You can't
shame people for violating deeply held beliefsif they don't have anything to deeply hold.
So this is what's happening. They'reacting outraged on behalf of Republicans whenever
Republican lawmakers violate our deeply held beliefs, because it's a to shame you into
(09:01):
acting consistently because it benefits them. Now, I know that sounds weird,
but please note this is literally theonly time that the left wants you to
act according to your values. Thisis the only time that they are cheering
you on to act according to yourvalues. Now, as I said,
I'm not telling you not to holdanybody accountable. I'm just telling you what
(09:22):
Democrats are doing now. I alsothink it's consistent to win, and this
is why I ticked all the leftoff when I made my remarks about herschel
Walker. Remember that whole thing youhad Raphael Warnock, a Senator who literally
co sponsored an abortion bill that wantedlate term abortion, basically abortion on demand
up till the moment of birth, financed by the taxpayer. Don't tell me
(09:45):
that that's not what he wanted, because that was literally the language of the
bill that I read and linked toyou in a newsletter that I sent out
to all subscribers, and it hadthirty something other odd Democrats that were on
to it. Herschel Walker was like, Yeah, I had this in the
past, I don't believe in itnow. That was a vote to not
have taxpayer funded abortion. So Irefuse to play the left's game, and
they went apoplectic over it, becauseat least you know, I'm being honest
(10:09):
about wanting to keep the seat.Privately, I think that a politician's inner
circle and donors should rake them overthe coals when they do wrong. I
got a lot of friends in Colorado, a lot, and I'm hearing from
a lot of people that I haveknown for a very long time that this
is happening now. I am hearinga lot from grassroot organizers that I have
(10:35):
known, and some I've even beenon the ground with before, and a
lot of donors who are actively mullingover a primary challenger for Boubert. And
it's not just for this alone. These are problems that have been building for
a long time. One of thebiggest complaints that I have heard from people
is that she does not campaign enoughback home. I hear that over and
(10:58):
over. Meanwhile, the guy whois going up against her is doing almost
nothing, but that her district, that's what you need to understand, is
more moderate than it is conservative. And the Republican in office before her was
a moderate, and then before thatit was a Democrat. It was at
Salazar dude who was talking about wantingto ban women from carrying on campus.
So her seat was never entirely asafe seat. Like a safe district,
(11:20):
it requires maintenance. I think herbiggest issue in the video is her entire
lack of self awareness when in apublic space, and for lashing out at
theatre staff. I mean, people, like I said, people were asking,
well, why was there a nightvision theater in the camera, I'm
asking why the hell conservatives don't expectthat there isn't you know, you gotta
(11:41):
expect that there's night visions in acamera or night vision cameras in a theater.
She does not have the goodwill toreact the way she did not in
her district. She barely won reelectionby five hundred and forty six votes.
Five hundred and forty six votes, barely. She does not have the good
(12:01):
will saved up to act towards youshouldn't be acting I like the officials shouldn't
be acting like that to anybody intheir district period. I think that's a
lack of self awareness that is absolutelyinexcusable. She created a symphony of errors
for herself. And if there isone thing y'all know this about me,
if there is one thing that Icannot stand, it is politicians who make
(12:26):
unforced errors and as a consequence, they become liabilities for the voters that they
are supposed to represent. Now,before we all get any ideas, like
I said, I know this issomeone who knows her personally. I have.
I've gone to fundraisers for her,and you've heard me say this many
times. I'm not in this tomake friends. I think voters deserve or
(12:48):
return on the investment of the consentof their vote but I think that this
is the voter's choice and not Democratschoice. It's not Nancy Pelosi's choice,
it's not Joe Biden's choice. Itis nobody's choice but Colorado voters. So
nobody has any business on demanding thatshe resigned. This is for Colorado voters
to handle. And if she wantsto keep her seat, she needs to
(13:11):
keep, you know, a respectablebehavior about her and not be lashing out
at people and not be doing thiskind of stuff publicly where you're flipping people
off on camera. I mean,we can sit here and talk all day
about what you can and can't do, you know, in a theater.
I also think that you need tobe aware of how you're behaving, especially
(13:33):
when you barely kept your seat. She's like, do you know who I
am? Well? Barely because fivehundred and forty six people, that's the
that is the margin of victory youhad in your district. That is not
enough to have an ego. You'veheard me rave about the Celtic KSG Shotgun
for a long time, and thefact is I cannot say enough good things
about it. I mean, theKSG is the one that started at all
(13:56):
made ordinary shotguns obsolete and still reignedsupreme. But the big reason I keep
raving about it is I'm also theproud owner of one at least, and
trust me, I really put theKSG to the test before adding it to
my collection. It's perfect for homedefense or tactical situations, and this twelve
gage is a reliable go to that'seasy to handle for everyone. The KSG
(14:16):
shotgun is the first twelve gage pumpaction shotgun chamber for three in shells,
and with dual two magazines, offersa capacity of twelve plus one. It's
downward shell ejection makes the KSG trulyembidextrous and eject shells away from your face.
It's compact, lightweight, and easyto maneuver and control. Learn more

And now all of the news youwould probably miss. It's time for
Dana's Quick five. I'm going totouch on this later, but I have
to hit this right now because itcouldn't happened to a nicer person. Rolling
Stone founder Ian Winner was fired bythe Rock and Roll Hall Fame because he
(15:00):
said that black and female Black andfemale musicians like Stevie Wonder and Joni Mitchell
are not as articulate like white starssuch as Bruce Springsteen and Mick Jagger.
I hate Yan Winner. One ofthe reasons that actual rock and roll artists
haven't been able to get into theRock and Roll Hall of Fame is because
jan Winner is a giant douche. That's really what it is, So couldn't
(15:22):
happen to an iSER person. Kaneand I are both in an agreement on
this. Officials say that five prisonerssaw by the US and the swap with
Iran have flown out of Tehran. This is, oh, by the way,
all of the talk that you hearabout this, because we've had like
six billion dollars in Iranian assets wereunfrozen. I was listening to, Oh,
who was it not John Kirby,Yes, thinking Anthony Blanket a little
(15:45):
bit earlier today. He was sayingthat it wasn't a vibe that it wasn't
They weren't doing anything, They weren'tundoing sanctions, except that's literally what they
were doing because the freezing of thesix billion dollars in Iranian assets. Was
that a really part of the sanctionsagainst Iran for their terrorists activity, and
so that's absolutely rolling back those sanctions. They said, this planned exchange unfolded
(16:11):
amid a major military build up inthe Persian goal of the possibility of troops
boarding and guarding commercial ships in theStraight of Hormos, through which twenty percent
of all oil shipments pass. Theysaid that five inness and Americans who were
imprisoned in Iran are finally coming home. And they said that this now,
of course, you got all thosebillions now that are going to be unfrozen.
So yeah, no, Valeriegie,it's celebrating somewhere. Let's see UW
(16:36):
is going on strike. They wenton strike after a contract talks failed that
they had months to a grant anew contract. It didn't happen. So
United Auto Workers are officially on strikeagainst Ford, GM, Stilantis and formerly
Chrysler, in an unprecedented labor strikethat could cost billions of dollars in lost
economic activity. The Big three wantedto use record profits to roll out new
(16:57):
evs, the which the Admit Illustrationhas been cheering on, saying that these
new concepts carried heavy production costs. They wanted a significant pay raise, a
forty percent increase over four years.During negotiations, they walked it back to
mid thirties and now it seems likeit actually jumped almost fifty percent though.
So they wanted a forty six percentpay raise, thirty two hour work weeks
(17:18):
with forty hour pay, restoration oftraditional pensions, and they wanted a whole
bunch of stuff. They said itwas way more expensive to do evs,
and you know what, they're notwrong. It is way more expensive to
do evs. So this is whatyou get, Biden. This is what
Biden's Green New Energy Deal is goingto. And everyone who doesn't know,
people who know absolutely not about allof this, they think it was just
(17:41):
going to be kittens and sunshine. It's super easy. Oh hell no,
you're gonna hurt. You will hurt. Also, the plane took off without
a single checked bag on board. They did have the passengers though, so
this was Swiss International Airlines. Theytook off from Zurich this past weekend,
all the passengers without a single checkedsuitcase on board. Because they had no
(18:03):
ground they had a huge black andground staff, so they had an initial
delay and they took off. Theysaid they would be able to make a
return flight to Zurich before the nighttimeflight band kicked in. They said that
they were going to try to delivermost of the luggage the next day.
Wow Japan Airlines they started a yearlong trial of a surface that lets you
rent a set of clothes and getit at your hotel on arrival. If
(18:26):
you know, your bags go outwithout you. So can you imagine,
though, I bet those people werenone too happy. And in eastern Pennsylvania,
fugitive pet alligators, according to theWall Street Journal, are invading multiple
sightings along a four mile stretch ofthis river I cannot pronounce because there's a
lot of consonants in it. Ray'salarms is winter looms. They said,
(18:47):
we just want them caught. Weare running out of time. They said
that there they were, the peoplewere asking if they were missing their pet
alligators. Now on Christie Noam storycame out, and I don't think anybody's
denied anything yet that the married SouthDakota governor and one of the advisors in
the Trump campaign, Corey Lewandowski, they're accused of having a year's long affair,
(19:11):
a lot of stuff about it.Now. I'll tell you this.
A few years ago, I wasat the Trump Drawl in Miami and I
was attending a Republican conference. Thisis a few years ago, I think
maybe it was in twenty nineteen,to speak on gun rights. And at
dinner that evening, we were inthe hotel's restaurant and there's like the circular
(19:33):
bar, and then there's like acouple of different levels where everything's open,
but there's a couple of different levels, and then there's a private room after
you go through one of the doors, passed some tables, and my husband
and I were having dinner with twofriends of ours, Ryan Petty and Andy
Pollock, both of them became verytragically known through losing their daughters in Parkland.
And during the meal, there werevarious attendees that had arrived, Donald
(19:56):
Trump Junior, Sarah Huckabee, Sanders, you know, we had the we
greeted them, we said hello, and they sat at their respective tables near
us, you know, after wesaid hi and all that stuff. So
later on Kory Lewandowski arrived with theSouth Dakota governor, and it was just
that they arrived with each other, and there wasn't a group with them,
(20:18):
and it was weird to me atthe time because I didn't know that they
knew each other, and they seemedvery familiar with each other. They went
to a table in an empty roomof that empty room of the restaurant.
You have to walk past our tableto get there, and I didn't see
anybody else walk into the room inwhich they dined. Later on, some
people walked in to say hello, but I think it was just the two
of them having dinner by themselves. And like I said, I thought it
(20:42):
was odd because I didn't know thatthey knew each other. And I'm always
super hyper aware of how the pressloves to play guessing games with the love
lives of politicians because and unfortunately itcomes with the territory and politics. It's
one of the reasons why I travelwith my husband to shut people up.
I've had Democrats and even some Republicanswho have tried to do this to me
(21:03):
six ways to Sunday, and they'venever been able to do it successfully because
for over a death actually since I'vebeen in politics, I was like,
you know, just to play itsafe, because I know how people are.
I know how the left is.I heard rumors about this first from
people who worked in the Trump campaign. I've heard from Trump campaign insiders,
(21:26):
people who weren't inside the Trump campaign. I mean, everybody has speculated about
this. So my question is wholeaked or pushed this to the press.
And my initial thought is that itis someone who is in the VP competition
to be Trump's VP, and theylook at no Him as a threat.
Is it Byron Donald's? Like whois it? I don't even think it'd
(21:48):
be Donald's because I have also heardfrom people that he wants to be the
next governor of Florida. So Idon't know. It's just odd that it
came out now after everybody. Imean, this has been years that people
have been speculating about this. Iwill say that when I saw Sarah Hu
could be Sanders enter she arrived withshe had like two aids with her.
(22:11):
I've never seen that woman not travelwith an aid and I've just seen that's
just the nature of the business. It is just the nature of the business.
So and I think that, youknow, I don't know. I
know, Christy Noan has ambitions todo more things. She gave herself a
makeover, she had a John andKate plus eight hairdo. She's done a
lot of she gave herself a makeover, all kinds of stuff, and she's
(22:34):
trying to get away from her record. She wanted to shut her state down,
under lockdown. Literally, the RepublicanLegislature thwarted her. We've talked about
some of this before. I don'tdislike her. I'm just telling you what
I saw. And it wasn't justme. It was a table full of
people. So I don't know,I just I never said I just.
I just thought I was because Ididn't even know that they knew each other,
and I was like, well,maybe they're discussed. I don't know,
(22:56):
maybe they're discussing business, maybe there'syou know, I don't know.
