We had to do a real jobof explaining to every day New York is
that the federal government has abandoned thisimportant issue that's a national issue, sort
of angry, and it's going tocome out. I'm a mayor now,
I don't know for how much longeryou'll be mayor. That's of course recognizable
voice from New York City. That'stheir mayor for now. Former cop Eric

(00:24):
Adams, and Hi, welcome tothe Dana Show. Happy Monday, Merry
Christmas T minus seven days in county, Christmas one week from today, and
I cool. I'm Sergio Sanchez infor my friend Dana Lash. You want
to say high online, it's atSergio talk on the Twitter thing. I

(00:45):
just remember, my goodness, Ishould have promoted online. I completely forgot.
Okay, so Mayor Eric Adams onthe illegal immigration crisis, the federal
government has abandoned this important issue.Devil's in the detail, Mayor, and
the devil here that would be JoeBiden. It's Joe Biden who hasn't been

(01:10):
the issue. Now, it's notexclusive. This problem is not exclusive to
Joe Biden. Joe Biden, itjust made a bigger mess of the mess
that we already have right by prettymuch opening the entire border. Just let
everybody in and claim assign them. That's the gist of it. Just let
everybody in. So Joe Biden hasgiven this whole issue a peculiar, a

(01:36):
very specific type of stink to it. So start give credit, you know,
point the finger where credit is do. Chances are Aircanam is not going
to be there much much longer. He did us all a favor by properly
calling on the federal government to payattention on this illegal immigrant problem. And
yes, of course, under JoeBiden, they've been going through all sorts

(01:57):
of legal contortions to say, oh, they're migrants, they're asylum seekers,
and just perverted the whole immigration systemin our country. You know, I
feel so bad for folks that arein line to get into this country legally,
Folks who have waited for years eitherbecause of you know, through marriage

(02:17):
or a business opportunity or an investmentopportunity, or because you know, through
family, they've had a chance toget a green card and be part of
the family business and just work throughthe legal needs, pay attorneys, pay
filing fees with a state department, and just wait wait, wait those folks,

(02:37):
I mean you talk to an anopportunity for you know, a big
story. Do a follow up atthe national level, shine a light on
Another set of victims of this JoeBiden open border policy is the people who
wish to do things legally, bythe thousands waiting and they're having to wait
even more because at this moment, the immigration court system is completely clogged with

(03:04):
millions upon millions of illegal immigrants whothink that they have a chance to stay,
and we know that they don't.Federal government abandoning this important issue,
and it's an issue that is missingfrom the news. Still with the necessary
emphasis, the necessary drum beat inthe news to provide an informed and intelligent

(03:25):
electorate in this country. I thinkit's a winning message and it's something I
want to share with your conversation.A little later on in this hour of
the program, I'm here in Texas, in South Texas, filling in from
my friend Dana. God bless yourDana, you and Chris and all the
crew at the Dana Show. Irefer to this little affiliate k u r

(03:49):
V and the RGV A Texas isthe Dana Show Southern Committe. We're on
the front lines of all these reallyimmigration mess But they're not staying here in
South Texas. No, they're goingto New York, Mayor Adams, They're
going to you, Chicago, They'regoing to d C. And part of
that is the bussing system from GovernorGreg Aviatt and text God bless your governor.

(04:10):
Have Merry Christmas. Greg up inAustin. I know you probably listening
to one affiliate up in Central Texas, but they're going up to Boston.
And it's a conversation I had witha friend of mine, a political friend
and a news friend, Jennifer Nassauerfrom Massachusetts, with the GOP up there.
Yes, I expect the message ofillegal immigration, the Biden border of

(04:35):
fiasco, this mess, this Bidenborder disaster. I expect the national media
to ignore it. I definitely expectthe left is cable news media and all
the lefty you know, former newspaper, former magazine, now online sites,
all that. I expect them toignore this because it doesn't favor them politically.

(04:58):
It doesn't help their team. They'releftist team, their socialist team,
their leader Joe Biden, and whoever'sgoing to represent him or replace him on
the ballot for the Democrats next year. But as I'm at the gate deep
South Texas, the Border of Texasaffiliate KRV, the Southern Command for Dana,
they're heading up. They're headed upto the to Dana's backyard up in

(05:23):
Dallas. They're headed up to bigcities up midwest, northeast, Boston,
Massachusetts. There there are so manystories coming to me and I go fish
on. You'll find them easily. They're not hard to find. And for
the news directors, the assignment editorsthat the individual's up to the dinosaur media

(05:44):
up northeast, the right of bysome responsible local news and maybe some local
papers that have gone online. There'splenty of reports of the stress that illegal
immigration, otherwise referred to under JoeBiden as the seekers migrants. It's illegal
immigrants, it's all. It ispeople jumping ahead of the line, the

(06:05):
stress on affordable housing, the stresson schools, the stress on providing medical
care. And these people, thesefolks are not they're not leaving. So
I'm want to share with your conversationwith Jennifer Nasher because I think right now
is the opportunity. Right now islike the time for a national GLP to

(06:28):
be messaging this. There's you knowhow they if you guys took a public
speaking class a long time ago, because I remember this in college and as
a youth volunteer and youth pastor threedecades ago. They said, when you
prepare a message, you find yourselfbecause of people's attention span and the fact

(06:53):
that you can keep all the informationnicey compact into three salient points. Right
now is the time for Ronald McDonaldRonald McDaniel. And I know might sound
disrespectful, I have very Look,I don't know miss McDaniel. I just

(07:17):
know she's a Rodney. I knowthat under her leadership, the GOP has
not done well at all. Iknow that the ground game is not there.
I know she's in charge as aleader for the Republic. She's in
charge of national fundraising, sticking herhand down and getting all the big donors
together. You need a vision.Without vision, we've been perishing without vision.

(07:41):
We are going to perish in twentytwenty four. I don't think Donald
Trump is going to perish. DonaldTrump's going to be the nominee. Like
as much as some of y'all don'twant, it is what it is.
And despite everybody coming up against him, trying to throw him in jail.
He's going to be the GOP nominee. And you know what I think,
because of some of the election reformsin many says ancluding most importantly Swing states,
I think he's got it. Ithink he will be the president.

(08:01):
I think he's going to go backagain. So the thing is we're on
two tracks. We got the Trumpcampaign has been abandoned by the GUP and
the JP doing those things, JUPdoing nothing. This is the time to
being messaging. Three salient points.Number one is the pocketbook issue is Biden
inflation. They can try to spinand sell as much as they want to

(08:26):
on the buying side. What wasit that they were trying to spin some
numbers and trying to blame others.Oh, here it is cut for Steve
is Jared Bernstein bragging about the costof groceries and gas under Joe bite.
All the stuff going down cut forSteve, real quick. From our perspective,
head down. Continue to implement thepolicies that we've been talking about thus

(08:50):
far bringing down costs. We talkedabout some key areas groceries, I talked
about gas, talking about some ofthe items that are important around the holidays.
We get it. Taught them abouthalf of the year, though,
we're getting it done now. Yeah, I can hear that goes. Can
you get it done the first halfof the year to see what to finish
your sentence to save Joe Biden.Cost ain't coming down, and one thing

(09:13):
is coming down. I mean, let's let's be realistic here. Costs on
the on the gasoline sign, onthe pump sign is coming down. You
know, Joe Biden had nothing todo with it. I'm gonna be honest
with you. Gas has come down. I recognize it. I'm thankful for
it. Joe Biden had nothing todo with it. Did you hear Joe
Biden out there saying, true, baby, True? You hear Joe Biden

(09:33):
says we need to extract more ofAmerica's natural gas and petroleum resort. Hell
no, Joe Biden one hundred andeighty degrees opposed to that. His policies
are making it very difficult for theproducers, for the folks extracting this natural,
God given mineral, this petrol base, this petroleum based mineral, the

(09:56):
energy of recause, the lifeblood ofour of our economy, this, which
is oil, which is petrol.Joe Biden has done anything. It's the
producers. It's so folks who's trying. It's the industry that's trying to keep
up with the mand It's the industry, folks who sat on the side for
a while, waiting for an investmentopportunity. They say, okay, price
of barrel all pretty solid. Oversixty, over seventy, has been pretty

(10:18):
consistent. It's kind of high.Opek is trying to screw us again in
the Saudi's, Mexico, Venezuela, all the OLDPEC nations trying to screw us
again. We're gonna put because weknow we can. We did under Donald
Trump. We were an ex sporter. We were meeting pretty much all our

(10:39):
demands for petrol in our country. So we can. And it's the petroleum
industry that's been trying to meet them. So aside from gas, thanks to
petroleum producers, thanks to natural gasproducers, extractors and distributors in this country.
Thanks to them, we're saying i'llsay, more of an normalizing our

(11:01):
price. We're still well above twoto thirty to forty two fifty. This
is not expressive, but I'm sure, thank you Jesus for our industry,
petroleum ministry in this country. We'renot paying over three and it's not three
point fifteen, not three fifty. You guys driving around out there somewhere,
headed to grandma's house, going tosee family. God bless your you guys.
Be safe on the road. Don'tforget you got like one hundred and

(11:22):
four other million people on the road. So you guys play defense out there.
But gas is a little bit moreaffordable, No thanks to Joe Biden.
The price of food has not gonedown and will not go down.
The only thing that has gone downthat's inflation related is the amount of percentage
that grows from year to year andpeople because people feel that to this day

(11:50):
it's twenty four months ago. Isnot that, you know, far behind
us in the rear view mirror, man, And I feel that in my
punk and I thank God for thisgood job and some other contract work for
a little you know, I thankGod for my wife's employment. We can
absorb there. But what was thatreport back back in the summer, you

(12:15):
guys recall those reports that said thatAmerican families are paying it like over seven
hundred dollars a month more every singlemonth, seven hundred times ten seven thousand,
plus another fourteen hundred, which wouldbe November and December. That's over
eight thousand, four hundred dollars morea month. And for a family that's
making sixty sixty thousand, fifty thousanddollars a year a year and take away

(12:39):
those eight thousand, they just hada pay cut of eighty four hundred dollars
a year in extra expenditures because foodcosts more, energy costs more, fuel
cost more compared to twenty four monthsago. It's there. That's why inflation
is not going away. The rateof inflation is done, but the price
of everything is through the roof. And that's why Joe Biden, despite what

(13:03):
he says and his people like JaredBernstein trying to spin the numbers, the
cost of groceries and gas are downwrong. The groceries ain't down then going
down. The price of energy isa lot more. And we're still feeling
it, and we're going into nextyear and whatever we hurt, however much

(13:24):
we hurt right now, it's gonnahurt even more next year by an additional
three and a half percent. Andthat's why cut one and I'll go to
break here in a second. Steve. That's why Biden doesn't get it.
He doesn't get it, he said, white people not supporting me. Yeah,
I go ahead, Staved cut one. Mister President, whye is in

(13:46):

Absurd Truth podcast, hosted daily fromThe Dana Show. I'm much more excited
about the jobs being created on USsoil, and that doesn't just happen.
We've got to make sure that theUS leads the way as this technology changes.
I don't know a lot of peoplewho think that Americans in twenty fifty
are still going to be driving thatold technology, that that combustion technology that

(18:07):
we American's like twentieth century. Yeah, Americans like it. The boot liquor
right next thing. I don't knowwho that was. Yeah, you recognize
that voice. That's the Transportation chiefbeat Booty judge. Yeah. I don't
know how many people would be advocatingfor gas powered engines by twenty fifty.

(18:29):
That'd be me and pretty much everybodyin Texas. Everybody likes it. Whoever
that was next one, No,they don't. We've got an increasing problem
of EV inventory stacking up dealerships allacross the country. There's plenty of reports
of dealerships across the country telling automakersstop sending them, we don't have any

(18:52):
room for the E. These peoplethey're buying these, and they're probably buying
the more popular ones like Tesla. You know my neighbor here on musk down
the road, it's Tesla's. ButI think the honeymoon for that is over.
And part of that is, well, do you really trust an EV

(19:14):
vehicle to get you where? Youneed to go long distance, especially right
now where you have one hundred andwhat was it, one hundred and four
million people on the road traveling forChristmas, and some of them are going
to be encountering some really nasty, nasty weather, like up northeast that nasty
storm and thank god that's not likea big snow storm. But see that's
the one that will get you introuble. How many reports of these EV's,

(19:38):
the batteries just dying in the bittercold. I mean, I would
personally trust, and there's a marketfor this, like all the EV's.
The problem is that we got thefederal government force feeding EV's the electric vehicle
technology. They're put literally putting thiscart before the horse big time. And

(20:03):
when you get the government involved andstuff like that, it screws. It
just skews and screws up the entiremarket. Forces that are supposed to be
at play Tesla's cells because they're popular, because they're cool looking, they're avant
garde and their chic and people wantto be a part of that. But

(20:25):
perhaps a Tessa might be a vehiclefor the city. At the moment,
I would trust personally, and Ilike electric vehicle technology. If I know
I can afford it, I choosenot to buy one. I personally would
trust because I do a lot oftraveling, a lot of extended a travel.
I would trust hybrids. These vehiclesthat run with some gasoline. They're

(20:52):
you know, they're recharging the engine. It's the wheels are spinning at the
same time. That sounds pretty goodto me. I mean, you need
to I think I wish the governmenttake their their greedy hands. They're incomponent
hands off of this entire market whenit comes to electric vehicles. We need
the technology to catch up. Weneed academics, we need engineers. We

(21:18):
need the industry doing R and Dtrying to perfect battery technology that will take
time, that will require a breakthroughsomewhere. If tomorrow morning I woke up
to news that we can put aglass of water in an engine and run,
you know, five hundred mouths, thank you jeez, that'd be wonderful.
I'm not against that. I knowthere's probably some people and oil they

(21:41):
say, oh, man, crap, you know that that'd be the end
of us. No, I wouldn'tit. We'd just be using all to
make plastics and other things that weneed. All sorts of plastic materials.
We need petro petroleum for stuff likethat. But it's the government forcing this.
And now we see an overstock ofevs at some of these places,
and some of the dealership saying don'tsend us any more, totally screwing up

(22:03):
market forces and demand. I wasrunning the so twenty fifty, they think
that by twenty fifty the majority willbe like electric vehicles. In twenty fifty.
Between now, I mean twenty twentysix years from now, a lot
a lot of things could happen.I mean that breakthrough I told you about,
it could happen somewhere between these nexttwenty six years where everything's powered by

(22:26):
you know, by water, bebeautiful, anything, Anything could happen.
But I mean, if you lookat like right now and subtract twenty five
years old, will that'd be It'dbe like two thousand or the late nineties,
right. I mean, I'm drivinga vehicle that is almost twenty years
old. It's an old GMC truck. I love that truck. That truck

(22:51):
doesn't leave me abandoned, and inbitter cold weather if ever I encountered it
and lots of snow, I coulddrive right through and leave a whole bunch
of electric vehicles behind me on theway to my destination. Twenty five years
is nothing. I mean, thevehicles that are new today that are gas
powered twenty five years from now,I think they're still going to be on
the road. They're that good.Anyway, It's time to go on offense,

(23:12):
GOP. It's time to start messagingbefore the Left starts brainwashing mental midgets
and people that are easily influenced bylittle sound bites. It's time to go
on office. I'm gonna share withyou a conversation with my friend Jennifer Nasauer
up in Massachusetts. Well, HunterBiden is banking the news, and we
saw a little bit of video himand held an improvised press conference lastman outside

(23:36):
the Capitol building. He would notgo sit before a Republican lawmakers. There
a GOP fishing around trying to findmore information on the Biden family. How
they get so wretch over so manyyears? What was the industry, what
was the business? What were theyselling? What was the assembly line?
Oh, that's right, it's sellingAmerican influence. Everybody getting rich. So
hoping to sit Hunter Biden down.He doesn't want to go behind closed doors.

(23:56):
Okay, Jennifer Nasa Hour from Massachusettswhere the Republican Party joining me.
Jen this is the second time thatthis clown is in the news with is
why don't these lawmakers just give himwhat he wants? Open everything up,
microphones, cameras, bring it everythingin. Let's go and if and when
some sensitive stuff that Hunter Biden didn'twant out there makes it to the top

(24:21):
of the Hour news and all theposts on x and Instagram and Twitter,
you know, all this embarrassing stuffthat maybe he didn't want. If you're
behind closed doors, you have somecontrol over that. By putting it on
the open like Hunter wants. Well, you just created a whole bunch of
sound bites and video cuts and howembarrassing stuff. And the lawmakers could say,
look, we could avoid this, but you decided to go full throttle

(24:44):
open air hearings. Why don't theydo that? Jan I think you should
go and advise Congress and you're somuch better jobs Joe, you know,
it's a really good question. Itlooks you know, there are so many
questions here. Number One, HunterBiden is getting away with You know this
because his last name is Biden, right, too. It's a House Oversight

(25:08):
Committee subpoena, which you know,if it was you or I, we
would be shaking in our boots andgo and show up because we wouldn't want
to be all over the news aboutthis. Hunter Biden doesn't care, right,
he's afraid it's going to be manipulatedand leaked. Then yes, then
okay, Congress says, hey, then we want you in public and and

(25:30):
let's embarrass you publicly. We weregiving you an opportunity to give us information.
He's handering their investigation into Joe Biden'sfeelings and if Joe Biden had any
knowledge or you know, if JoeBiden had any knowledge of Hunter's dealings,
and if Joe Biden personally benefited fromthose dealings. You know, again,

(25:51):
if it was flipped, it wasthe other way. It was a Trump
kid. It was a bush kid. God right with the media would be
going crazy. It would be acircus and the heads would be ruling.
You know. Now, Look, does Congress have better things to do and
bigger fish to fry. We've gotan open border, you guys see it
every day. We have everything goingon overseas. We have a crashing economy,

(26:12):
it's you know, you're you're inthe south. I'm in the north.
It is freezing here home heating costsor getting high. It's the holidays.
People want to give their kids gifts, they want to put food on
the table. We have so manythings to think of, and that's not
happening right now. And I don'tknow, you know, our comer and
Jordan's going to go forward with contemptproceedings. They need a house boat from

(26:37):
the House Oversight Committee. Then theyneed a it to go to the full
House, which you know, onlya handful of extra Republican votes, and
the Democrats get in mind, andthen guess where it goes. It goes
to the DOJ. Mike drop alldone. Yeah, well, I think
just my opinion and part of thismaybe they lost many days in the fight

(26:59):
to get U speak, But Iwish most of this would have been done
and voted on already, so wewould know how in the forty some odd
swing seats that they have in theHouse because everything else is solid red or
solid blue, but they say likethirty five to forty five different seats,
whatever it is, we would knowhow they voted. I'm glad that the
inquiry is official, now, youknow they I know this might not be

(27:22):
your Bailey gems, but just curious, Jennifer Nasauer sees with the Republican Party
up northeast, up with in Massachusetts. Do you know now that the inquiry
into the lleged corruption by Joe Bidenand his family and looking into all that,
does that give Congress more teeth tonot only demand documents from National Archives

(27:44):
and all these other agencies, butalso when it comes to stuff like this
with Hunter and Joe Biden's brother andother family members, very rich family members.
Does that give them more teeth? What does this do, this official
inquiry now that that poss forward afterthe congressional vote. I mean, again,
I'm not an expert in US,but here's what I'll say. Anything
that Congress does is not illegal proceeding. It's not by a judge, and

(28:07):
so they can't be arrested. There'sno you know they would again, they
would need to go through this entirecontent proceeding and have it shipped up to
the DOJ. I you know again, I mean I have no confidence,
but the DOJ is going to beinvestigating anything when it comes to the bidens
and so you know. That's that'stheir power that they have. That's it

(28:32):
can ask you something else on messaging, of course, as I let you
go look right now would be thebest opportunity for the Republicans to properly be
messaging. And I'm not talking aboutDonald Trump, because Donald Trump is a
guy. He's going to have hisown piggy bank bank account and be doing
his own advertising, and he mighthe might be the one that in the
end saves the national GOP. ButI'm talking about Ronald McDonald, Ronald McDaniel

(28:57):
and all the leaders for national leaders. This is the time to message the
hard working black families, black community. This is the time for the same
thing for Latinos nationwide to get intheir face social media, all those websites,
Instagram and acts and Facebook, whateverit is, YouTube, whatever it

(29:21):
is, get in their face andput facts in front of the first of
all, economic facts, inflation andhow to turn things around, energy,
all those things, and yes,do the job of the media of what
the job of the media is supposedto be doing, and prioritizing the mess
at the border that is just awfuland deadly, and the GP should be
spending money now the clock is ticking. We're about eleven months away from less

(29:44):
than eleven months away from the election. I don't expect to see any of
that aggressive ground game media game rightnow by the Republicans. Why is that?
And I know you're close to thesepeople working at the National Committee.
Yeah, I mean I hope thatI hope that they will. I think
that the messaging is really important.I think, you know, the messaging
is above any of the candidates rights. It is a message that I think,

(30:10):
you know, Republicans need to communicatebecause the mainstream media has done a
really phenomenal job over many years ofmaking Republicans out to be evil, mean
spirited. You know, you're thegrinch, You're you're a Meisner, And
in the meantime that's not the case. And I think that Republican Party has

(30:32):
a really great opportunity here for exactlywhat you're talking about, to communicate to
different groups of people that, youknow, look, the borders are over
and migrants are coming over. Andif you live in a community that's ridden
with guns and violence and drugs, then guess what's coming over the border more
guns and violence and drugs. Noone wants that, No one wants to

(30:53):
raise their family and that no onewants their elderly relative to be around that
you know that that's actually a fact. How about you know, and living
in Massachusetts, we've kicked out ourDemocratic establishment has kicked out from public housing,
our elderly who have paid taxes, and are you know, barely getting

(31:17):
by our veterans who have given theirlives to service for our country to house
migrants. Is not discussing there areso many messaging yes, ma'am. Absolutely,
Jen there's so many messaging opportunities. But and I know you're closer to
leadership on that one, and Iwould hope you and like minded France can
work the phones a bit. It'stime to go on offense before the dams,

(31:40):
before Joe Biden and his menius, before they seize the opportunity and start
twisting the message and start brainwashing people. It's time to message now, to
be out of the gate first.Jennifer is always a pleasure. She's founder
of pocket Book Project. She's withthe Republican Party up in Massachusetts. Jennifer
Nassau hit about ten minutes left inthis hour of the program. You're listening

(32:02):

Santak is always an honor to flipthe switch and do what we can to
keep you informed and step to speedwith everything taking place. One of the
conversations coming up later in the programgift cards and the gimmick that I mean,
how do I describe it? Likea gimmick that borders on being a
scan Now, it's like one ofthe more more popular things of the season

(33:59):
is a gift But may do youhave any idea how many billions? And
it's billions upon billions of dollars theygo unspent on these gift cards. We'll
talk about that later in the program. Also, as you're looking for some
stocking stuffers, a friend that Imade at a distance, it's like here
in deep South Texas about eighteen hundredmiles away from up northeast. All these

(34:22):
are all long distance friendships. JimmyFayala from Fox Nation and his new book
could be one of those stocking stufffor books. He's always a lot of
fun, so you know his book'sgoing to be fun. The Cancel Culture
Dictionary, speaking of New York, unless if I can find a I had
this or all. Yeah this fromNew York because you guys got up northeast.

(34:44):
If you're listening to the Dania showup Northeast, Yeah, my heart's
with you. Yeah. And youget some cold weather, no snow though
I'm gonna have to wait to maybeJanuary February or something like that, but
hey, at least you get acold Christmas. My Christmas here in South
Texas is going to be highs inlike the mid seventies. Low's overnight in
the sixties, you guys got slammedby a nasty storm. And up in

(35:08):
New York where Mayor Eric Adams ishosting hundreds and tens of thousands and tens
of thousands of illegal immigrants, complementssome of the companies of Texas, all
the buses we've been sending to you. Yeah, that nasty storm, those
wonder reports said, let me seeif I can find up to three inches
of floodwater reported in some tents theygot, like tent cities housing some of

(35:30):
these illegal immigrants. They had someflooding at some of the tent cities.
Mayor Eric Adams in the New YorkPost was saying that he could fix the
migrant crisis. Is being popular andit's been called he could fix the migrant
crisis if he were in the wideHouse. I don't think that would be

(35:52):
from a perspective of adding more securityor from shutting things down. Now I
think be greasing the skids. I'msergios, this is the Dana Show from
South Texas. Merry Christmas, andas we get moving our partners over at
Patriot Mobile. Now, I meanyou could use a different cell phone service.
That's fine. If you want tosupport communists and you want to end
America and you hate all the thingsand all that stuff. I mean,

(36:15):
I'm just saying I'm pretty sure thatif the founders were alive today, they'd
probably use they would use Patriot Mobile. Mean it makes sense, no guilt
or nothing, but you know,if you want to save yourself money in
a time of Biden inflation, theygot a lot of great deals and they
can save you a lot of money. They also have one hundred percent US
based customer service team, so you'renot only creating more US based jobs,

(36:36):
but you're maintaining US based jobs, which is nice. And I know these
folks, I mean they're great.I mean, the guy who founded Patriot
Mobile literally lives down the road forme. So if you I've never had
an issue, but if I did, I just show up at his house
and be like, what's up.I'm not encouraging you to do that,
but I'm just saying they're good folks. And they also have dependable nationwide coverage
and all three major networks. Youget the best service. You're not funding

(36:59):
the left, keep your keep yournumber, upgrade, the choice is yours.
And you also can take advantage oftheir Black Friday ongoing promotion free smartphone
code Friday seventy six, limited timeonly Patriotmobile dot Com slash Data is the

seven to two Patriot code Friday seventysix. Ten minutes after the hour,

(37:23):
you're listening to the Dana Show.Merry Christmas one and all. Appreciate you
tuning in. I'm Sergio Sanchez infor my friend Dana Lash and let's uh,
let's start going through some of thenews for this hour. I appreciate
you you guests sticking around. Andso that's a little bit of the best
off of the best of the bestof here on the Data show. Let's

(37:44):
see here cut ten Steve is Rapppresented La King Castro on border securities and
this from the perspective of a Democrat, socialist, leftist cut ten Steve Good,
I want to speak quickly to theDemocrats in the Senate and others who
are considering supporting this proposal. Ifyou do so, you will be surrendering

(38:07):
to right wing racism, and morethan that, you will be enabling it
right wing racism for having border security. Man, we are not only on
two separate rail tracks. We areseparated by a vast chasm of ideas when
it comes to border issues. Seewhat you see right now on the US

(38:32):
Mexican border is open border under JoeBiden. This is what the Democrats want.
If you think that voting for theDemocrats is the way to go in
November twenty four for the little bitof information that the dinosaur networks have provided
to you and how bad the situationis on the border, just multiply that

(38:53):
by at least for at least fourmore years. That craziness for the what
is it so far? Like fivemillion people that across the board that should
not be here right now, thetwo maybe three million people that have been
encountered by border patrol, million anda half to two million people that are

(39:15):
the god aways. See, that'swhere we have the biggest concern is the
god aways, the getaways, thepeople that we have no idea why are
they running for border patrol. Wehad almost about three million people that encountered
border patrol to be allowed a freeticket to this country, to get a
chance to stay or get in linefor an asylum request that we know they're
not going to qualify for. Butof the million and a half to two

(39:36):
million people who bolted from border patrol, why what is it in their criminal
record? What is it in theirbackground? What is it? Why?
What is it that they're carrying intheir backpack? Who is it that's accompanying
them? Are these children sexual slaves? Who are these people? You like
what you see on the border,if you've been able to see anything on

(39:58):
the border, Well, keep votingDemocrat and you'll get the ideas of fucking
castro who anything everything that they donot agree with when it comes to properly
policing the border, properly providing somesecurity, properly filtering people coming into this
country so we know who's coming here. So we just don't have an open

(40:19):
door mindset. Yeah, continue votingDemocrats, so you get all these idea
logs out there calling anything that theydon't agree with right wing racism. Now
another gem of a common recently thiswhat was saying. I'm surprised it's I
haven't heard more of it. Maybepeople just expecting this from Donald Trump,

(40:45):
the promise from Donald Trump when elected, and I do believe in my heart
hearts that he will be re elected. I mean, he's going to be
the nominee period unless you know,God forbid, something happens and he says,
I can't do this anymore. I'mleaving. It's up to him to
leave or in something. I don'teven want to take my mind there to

(41:07):
think something that would happened to him. But he is will be the nominee
with fifty sixty points ahead, andI do believe in my hearthearts, he
will be the present. The Americanpeople will correct course, it's only a
handful of states, like literally orfive or six stays, like a half
dozen states, they'll make that determination. It may come down to just a

(41:28):
couple hundred thousand votes in those keyswing states. And see that's when I
share that audio last hour of RonaldMcDonald is I laughingly referred to her,
not lovingly, but laughingly. Thelack of leadership that we have at the
national Right now is the time togo on off is right time is the
time to message. Right now isto take three salient points. It is

(41:51):
the economy stupid, it is inflation, it's Biden nomics, is the Biden
border mess, and it's lawlessness. But they should go on offense right now
in swing states. If you don'twant to do it nationwide. Fine,
don't spend any in California, don'tspend any money in New York, don't
spend any money in Illinois. Allthese places are deep blue states. They
are lost. They're lost politically speaking, they are in hell. And then

(42:15):
you see some of the expressions andtheir policies, and the poop filled streets
in San Francisco, and the spinelessdistrict attorneys, the spinist prosecutors that they
have in those places, and ofcourse in this mindset that takes in all
these illegal immigrants. They were sanctuarystates, sanctuary cities, and now they

(42:35):
have to take all these people in. Fine, don't advertisers advertise gop Ronald
McDonald, Rand McDaniel, take themoney you have. You need to be
owning the issues of bidenflation and makesure people are properly informed of the mess
that Biden has created the past twentyfour months needlessly by not addressing the supply

(42:58):
chain issue and by pumping way toomuch money, too much money, not
enough stuff, boom inflation. TheBiden border mess needs to be properly put
into perspective. It needs to beproperly communicated to the American people. Donald
Trump wants to deport millions of illegalimmigrants as soon as he takes office.

(43:19):
I don't know how he's going todo it. He has to repair immigration,
Customs Enforcement, the ICE Office. It's somewhat doable. I don't know.
He'll have to figure that out becauseit's a it's a mess now.
It was a mess before the immigrationsystem. It's definitely a whop of a
messenger Joe Biden, that's one keything that he said that I'm surprised they

(43:39):
haven't passed on it because maybe theyjust expect him to say things like this.
But I've seen some of the leftiesnear me, some of my friends
go their eyebrows go up, likewhat did he just say? He says
illegal Americans are poisoning the blood ofAmerica. That's a racist remark. Can
just see they they createsy. It'slike they get all uncomfortable here poisoning.

(44:05):
What does it mean by that?Poisoning the blood of America? What the
blue blood of America, the pureblood of America, the pure white blood
of America. Come on, people, well, what is what is the
life blood of America? The lifeflood of the American economy is petrol is

(44:27):
gasoline, it's diesel, the blood. It's the market. It is what
we all feed off of, it'swhat we all participate in. It's the
market. Has nothing to do withrace, has nothing to do with the
purity of the white race. ButI know you're thinking it. You're crazy.
You left these out there, cheap, illegal, low skill labor to

(44:52):
the tune of millions of people beingflooded into the market puts a stress on
salaries. And this is where you, guys in unions, I don't get
it. Why do you in leadershipcontinue to support a Democrat administration that has
opened the flood gates the cheap laborin this country that you know will be

(45:15):
eroding the negotiating strength and the powerof unions, all types of unions nationwide
because you get all this cheap laborin this country, low skill labor that's
going to be clawing and fighting tofeed themselves and feed their family for at
least a half generation the next twentyyears. Hoping and praying that these kids

(45:35):
that are born in this country thatshould not be in this country, that
are creating a whole new dreamer class, hoping that they get some education,
maybe get higher skill set to providemore labor it necessary feels like trucking,
like medical and nursing like welders, plumbers, electorians, all that skill set,
maybe even achieve greater things, butthat still needs to be determined in

(45:57):
another twenty years. With a newdream class, put the stress on affordable
housing all over the place. Wegot we got illegal learmergrants up in New
York living in flooded tents where theyhave like two three inches of rangers just
sopping up raining there, walking aroundand rain so intents putting up in New
York. Social services education caring forabandoned kids as well, because they send

(46:21):
kids to the tune of hundreds ofthousands. And not to mention of those
people who ran, Like I toldyou, these people who ran the getaways,
man, there's a in that getawaypopulation. I would bet good money
there's a large percentage. There's abunch of criminals in there. They're working
for the cartels in Mexico. They'rethe ones that are helping to bring all

(46:44):
that poison in that fentanel coming intoour country. That's what you that's what
you get under the Democrats. That'swhat you get under Joe Biden. I'm
Sergio Sanchez. You're listening to theDana Show from South Texas. Merry Christmas
and now all of the news youwould probably miss. It's time for Dana's
Quick five from Chicago. As theydeal with a flood of illegal immigrants let's

(47:07):
call them what they are, illegalimmigrants gaming the asylum system. Five year
old boy living at one of theseshelters that they set up for these folks,
and a Chicago neighborhood five year oldhas died. The youngster has been
identified child not feeling well yesterday wastaken to a children's hospital where he later

(47:29):
was pronounced dead. Where's the headlineson this? And where's the call to
action by the left. Where's thecall to action from all these leftists holding
Joe Biden responsible for the death ofyet another child in his care right?
Heads up? Dozens of granola barsand cereal products are being recalled for potential

(47:50):
salmonilla Quaker Oats company and they sayit's a bunch of stuff that's being affected.
You might want to check with theFood and rec Administration website. They
say Quaker we bars puff granola cerealto some of the stuff as being recalled.
There's a concern salmonella contamination. Theyhave not received any reports people getting
sick so far. NBA legend KareemAbdul Jabbar took a nasty spill late late

(48:14):
last week, broke his hip,had to go into hip replacement surgery this
past weekend. And research out ofthe University of California identifying potential biomarkers for
suicidal thoughts. A new study foundpeople with depression suicidal thoughts had five detectable
compounds and their bloodstream. I'm Sergioscientist. You're listening to the Data Show

(48:37):
from South Texas. Merry Christmas.Elevate your commute, workouts or downtime with
the Dana Show podcast. Unleash thepower of knowledge at your fingertips by following
Dana on Apple, Spotify or whereveryou get your podcasts. And the President's
talking about it, the administration istalking about it. Why isn't that message

(48:59):
getting through? Well, you know, I think it's a mixed bag one.
We need to make sure that youknow and it's not you, but
some in the media, instead ofcovering what type of shoes Joe Biden has
on for the day, right toactually cover the work that's being done in
those communities. That's one. Thesecond part is that we have to make
sure that we get into the communitiesand connect them with the resources. Yeah,

(49:22):
that's the mindset from the left, that's the mindset from the Democrats.
Get into the community and brainwash themand tell them, don't believe your eyes.
Don't believe what you see. Don'tbelieve the prices at the store.
Don't believe the price on your electricitybill. Don't believe the price of everything
that you're paying for from hotels towhat is groceries, the car repair,
the new vehicles, more expensive airfare, hotels, furniture all. Don't believe

(49:45):
that we will tell you what tobelieve. Yeah, that was Jamie Harrison.
He's with a DNC upset that somein the media are not carrying the
water right now for the Democratic Party. That's the way it should be,
but they're still not doing their jobin properly communicating to the American people the

(50:06):
facts of inflation, the facts ofthe Biden borderments, the facts of this
culture, this lawless culture that existsright now in Washington and unfortunately in many
Democrat unfortunately Democrat run cities, saythis is not your daddy's JFK Democrat party
from a long time ago. MerryChristmas, my friend, thank you for
joining us on the Data show.I'm Sergerio Sanchez in for my friend Dana

(50:30):
Lash and I'm gonna share with youa conversation here and just a little bit
on gift cards, the racket thatis the gift card industry, and considering
how advanced website, social media appseverything is today, there's no reason why
there should be billions and billions ofdollars left on the table, left on

(50:51):
these cards. But I tell youit's a right. They do it on
purpose, and we'll find out howmany billions of dollars you guys are leaving
on those gift cards on a yearto year based. Speaking of money,
here's a good idea. More thanhalf of US high school students will soon
be required to take personal finance coursesbefore graduation. About time, don't you
think to empower individuals to understand thatthey can make money in this country,

(51:15):
make more money than any other countryin the world, to make money and
sock it away for responsibly for theirfutures, to provide for themselves and provide
for their sweeten and maybe leave somethingfor their children. That's a great idea.
Pennsylvania becoming the twenty fifth state toguarantee a personal finance course for high

(51:37):
school students. Governor signing that personalfinance courses teaching high school kids real world
lessons include spending, saving, creditcredit scores, investing, managing risk,
all these things that how many generationshave we gone through? Now where none

(51:57):
of this has been talked about athigh school level, this has been debated,
none of this has been considered.Yes, I know, this probably
is the type of stuff put kidsasleep because they're not the ones that are
managing a portfolio. They're probably don'teven have bank account, but they should.
Like right now, I'm working toget my kid, Delian and I,
my wife and I were going toget my sixteen year old his own

(52:21):
bank account and put some money inthere for him to start responsibly, start
spending and learning the value and theexpenses of it. Like the other day,
we're sitting at I don't know,some national chain getting a burger something.
It's my wife and I, mylittle one, my el and my
eleven year old, my sixteen yearold, and Noah takes a look at

(52:44):
the bill some day's back, hegoes, what seventy five bucks? Yeah
with a tip, Yeah it comes. And so every time that you sit
down son, because he understands theprice stuff, because it's all based on
the price of video games, theprice of I don't know, new iPhone,
the price of the electronics, thevirtual reality stuff that he has.

(53:07):
All. You know, he livesin an electronic world right now, and
he knows with the price of appsand everything else. But to see it's
like he looks at that bill atseventy five bucks, going, man,
what I could buy for seventy fivebucks right now online? He puts it
into perspectable. We need to putthat on steroids. An American electorate and

(53:29):
American economy, American workers, theyneed to understand the value. It needs
to start when they're young. I'mnot a very big fan of Honestly,
I'm not a very big fan ofkids working a little too young. Now.
I do believe that they should valuemoney that they obtained through hard labor,

(53:51):
maybe unloading trucks, maybe work inthe fields, working something difficult,
something hard, something that provides moremoney. But so there's always the temptation
to follow that money instead of followingthe books. Don't you agree. It's
like once kids start making money sixteenseventeen eighteen, they're going to be distracted
with that paycheck. See, andI don't want that for my boy.

(54:13):
I do want them to value money, to understand that he can save for
the future, that he can makeand save, Understand credit and not abuse
credit, not be abused by crediteither to turn down those extra credit cards,
spending, saving credit cards, creditscores, all those things. Investing
Our kids need to understand them. That plot Pennsylvania, we need a lot.

(54:37):
We did a national program for thisso that all kids in high school
start understanding that it is up tothem as individuals to save for their future,
sock away for their future, sothey have something to protect themselves and
provide for their kids, their prodigysometime down the road. Instead of allowing
the government to provide a social Securitycheck. There's probably not even going to

(54:59):
be there in the next generation theway things are going right now. I'm
Sergio Science as you're listening to theDanis Show coming at you from South Texas,
and is Christmas time. One ofthe more popular gifts that will be
exchanged and regifted are these gift cards, Well, I think it's all a
rocket. Here's my conversation with Antikacherianduring gift giving season. Gift cards very

(55:21):
very popular. Aniku Cherian is withConsumer Reports. She's in charge of writing
up shopping stories, editing all thatand and welcome to the program. How
long have you been with Consumer Reports. I have been there almost three years
now. Okay. Also, yougot to see the pandemic economy of the
post pandemic commy, so yeah, appreciate your workover that Consumer Reports. Okay.

(55:43):
On the issue of gift cards, man, you talk about something that
people spend money on, but notall people who receive these gifts eventually spend
them or use them. You havesome figures in front of you. How
many of these cards go unused?Their loss to any idea over last time
we conducted a study which was aroundtwenty twenty one. We found that over

(56:05):
fifty one percent of Americans have agift card that is unused, which is
a pretty large percentage of the populationif you think about it, and I
myself am one of them that Ican say I definitely have gift cards that
I just forget to use sometimes. Why is that? Out of side,
out of mind, you putting yourdesk, why is it? Yeah.
One of the biggest reasons why thesegift cards get unused is because when people

(56:30):
receive them, they forget forget aboutthem, and then the longer you hold
on to them, the less likelyyou are to use them. So we
definitely recommend that the moment you receiveit, put it in your wallet.
Imagine that it's sort of like gettingcash. You would add it to your
wallet and use it the next timeyou're at the store. Nowadays, a
lot of people are sharing digital giftcards, which can be a little harder

(56:52):
to keep track of. So whatwe recommend is keeping a running list of
the gift cards that you receive.Another list to do Yeah, I don't
want another to do list? Betterto better to keep a list and to
lose out on that money though, you know, you could just trot it

(57:13):
down on your phone, or youcan print out a copy of the gift
card if that helps you, andjust stick that in your wallet and then
that way you can refer to itwhenever you're coping. And Aqua Cherion is
with consumer reports and she's writing andediting stuff or shopping and deals we're talking
about gift cards, and wow, like over fifty percent of Americans have gift
cards that have gone unused. I'vegot some, but I've got a plan

(57:36):
for them. See around here,we have a local grocer and they'll give
you a coupon, like, youbuy two of these cards and we'll give
you a ten dollars in house card. ECHI butt chib right here, I
just I'll name it. Say,will you buy two of these cards and
we'll give you like a five dollarsor ten dollars card for in house spending.
Well, presto, I just tookcare of a couple of my friends

(57:59):
or maybe bots off where we regularlygo eat, whether you know some of
the national chains or fancy restaurants whatever. I know we're going to spend it.
I know we go there after churchon Sunday in a regular basis.
I'm waiting for those cards and theyget the five or ten dollars card at
the grocer, and presto, Ijust got me some bread and milk and
tortillas or whatever. I got somegroceries out of the whole thing for a

(58:22):
purchase I know is expected very nearfuture. So I got a little system.
I just go check the card sectionout there, and I recommend people,
if you have grocers that do that, I'd recommend that you do it
that way that we get. Yeah, that's more value out of it.
But I'm surprised. Well, actuallyI shouldn't be, because maybe I think
they're doing on a purpose. Wedo everything with our phone now, so

(58:45):
you can at the payout check out, you press your phone, you just
paid for whatever purchase you have.I know there's got to be a way
where all these gift cards killing trees, all these little cards, right,
they should be obsolete by now, where they make it easy through the numerous
apps of the restaurant chains and thestore chains that you visit, right that

(59:10):
automatically that goes into that app asa credit next time you go to that
restaurant or to that retailer, dingdinging it pays, Which is like yes,
But I'm convinced that they don't doit because, like we go back
to the beginning, over fifty percentof Americans have gift cards, they didn't
use them, and they're counting onpeople not using them. What do you

(59:32):
think? Yeah, I mean somestores make it easy for you, Like
you said, others, you haveto work a little harder for it.
Another reason why these gift cards aregetting left is because maybe somebody receives one
to a store they don't shop,or you know, it's to a brand

(59:52):
they don't love. And so whenyou're giving someone a gift card, to
make sure that you know, ifit's to a specific restaurant, a coffee
shop, a store, whatever itmay be, just make sure they frequent
that place, because it's more likelythat they're going to use it if not
up for something a little bit moregeneral, like a visa, an Amex

(01:00:14):
or an Amazon gift card, andthose are generally a lot easier to put.
I don't like those. I don'tyou know why I don't like those?
Well, you know where I'm going, Like, you buy one of
those Visa or Amex or whatever giftcards, like the money cards. When
you buy those, let's say,I don't know, you buy a twenty

(01:00:35):
five dollars card, It just costyou like three ninety five or four ninety
five extra to buy twenty five bucks. Just give your friend twenty five bucks
in cash. Yeah, but youknow, everybody's got to make money off,
including the retailer. So the creditcard company and the retailer that make
some money three ninety five four fivefor you purchasing. If you're gonna if
you really really need to buy somethinglike that, I say, buy a

(01:00:55):
big card. I think the maximumis like two hundred and fifty bucks or
something like that, because you reallyreally need it. Okay, I understand.
But people you're getting fleets for buyingsmall money cards like that and paying
an extra three ninety five. Sohere's here's what I would do. Set
a Christmas card. Here's twenty fivebucks I was gonna buy you in a
gift card, and here's the extrathree ninety five. Perfect, right,
I was gonna I was gonna giveyou. I don't know if the coins

(01:01:16):
would fit in the Christmas card, but you know it's everybody's got to make
it. Doubt I understand. Butyeah, those money cards, that's why
I'm not a fan. Yeah.Well, yes, plenty of other options
out there if someone happens not tobe a fan of them, which is
a good thing. You have lotsof options these days. Oh, there's
one final question I had for you, and it probably does exist. I

(01:01:37):
haven't looked into it. There's probablylike some appro website that's willing to buy
cash money, give you some cashfor your gift card that you won't likely
you'll never use because it's it's abusiness that you don't frequent or probably will
never frequent, but it'd be aniceto get some cash money out of it
though, right, So, isthere an app where that will pay you
cash money and maybe fifty percent fiftycents on the dollars seventy have sense on

(01:02:00):
the dollar, and then they willresell and does that exist? Those third
party apps do exist. We alwayscaution consumers against those apps unless you know
it's definitely a trusted source because youmight fall prey to a fraud or scam.
So if you do happen to findone that offers to buy up your

(01:02:20):
gift card, just make sure it'sa trusted source. And alternatively, if
you receive a gift card and youknow I'm never going to buy anything from
the store, maybe think about givingthat gift card to someone who might use
it, or buy a gift forsomebody using that gift card. Anyway that
you can sort of donate or payforward your balance instead of losing out on

(01:02:45):
it is always a great lest youcan also donate it to your favorite charity.
Maybe they could exactly auction right, that's they could auction off at a
fundraiser, things like that. Yeah, donating to charities is always a great
option as well. And again justmake sure that is a trusted force that
you're donating to get card to.I was looking at when your Consumer Report

(01:03:06):
write ups on this. So afew years back, twenty twenty, over
fourteen billion dollars left on gift cards. So there is money to be made.
If there's an investment into a reliablenational app, they'll tell you we'll
give you fifty cents on the dollarcash money you want the cash, here
you go, and that way theycan go possibly recess fourteen billion dollars left

(01:03:30):
on the cards. That's made alot of money. That's a lot of
money, right. Thank you somuch, Anna, Merry Christmas, Happy
twenty twenty four. Thank you somuch for your report today. Thank you
for having me. Happy Holidays fromConsumer Reports. She's in charge of shopping
and deals. It's ane Coucherion. You get about ten minutes left in this
hour of the program. I'm SergioSanchez. You're listening to the Dana Show

(01:03:52):
from South Texas. Stick around nexthour, going to share with you a
story from North Texas, from Dana'sbackyard up North Texas a school district that
this story blows me just completely outof the water, just wow. Leaving
parents feeling completely powerless, can't doanything about a situation that might involve like

(01:04:15):
narcotics and their kids getting sick, sending him to the hospital, and no
information whatsoever. That's coming up nexthour of the Dana Show from South Texas.
Merry Christmas. It's his life missionto make bad decisions. It's time
for Florida man. All these securitycameras are getting better and better. I'd

(01:04:40):
like to know which one they wereusing on this one. This what county
is this? Polk County? TheSheriff's office they provided for for a broadcast.
A Florida man breaking into an apartmentstealing ingredients to make a morning screwdriver.
Young guys, and you can seepretty good to tail. You can
see this face pretty do it.Five point thirty in the morning. He

(01:05:01):
breaks into an apartment, gets someoj get some vodka. You can clearly
see them in several picks. Onlythirty five dollars worth of stuff as he
got away with but so much foryou as being too early in the morning
for drinking. This guy obviously couldn'tget a morning drink fast enough. A
screwdriver, some fruit juice, andsome vodka. And it was this week,

(01:05:25):
by the way, they celebrate thisweek national Screwdriver. I learned something
this week. I'm not much intodrinking, so some of y'll probably know
it's fruit, a screwdriver's fruit juicevodka. That's pretty much like I could
be orange juice, cranberry juice, something like, why did you call it
screwdriver? Because in World War Twoour soldiers would take a screwdriver to open

(01:05:48):
up the cans of juice in orto mix it with a vodka from South
Texas. This is the Dana Show. Well, the thing about and you
point out was g You know,he ran in twenty sixteen with a very
strong policy against China. He hadtalked about China ripping us off. He
had talked about China getting away withbuilding up military and that was really a

(01:06:09):
key thing. And yet when itcame time to be president, he didn't
take the forceful action that he did. In fact, when COVID hit,
which was really the time I thinkhe could have marshaled a lot of support
in America to have a stronger posturevisa of each China. He was praising
Ge about how well Gi did withthe virus early on. But you and

(01:06:30):
I both know China covered up whatwas going on. Yeah, well you
recognized the voice going to Rod DeSantis, and I agreed with him to an
extent. And I'll tell you ina second. I'm Sergio Sanchez. You're
listening to The Dana Show, ourthree of the program. Appreciate you tuning
in today. Merry Christmas to you. You can also join us online look
for all the different platforms that carrythe condensed version of The Danas Show.

(01:06:55):
Later in day, Producer Steve Lookingthence all that into a podcast for him.
So Governor Rod DeSantis criticizing the uniformedPresident Trump, Now that came fast
and furious, that COVID year andall the suspicions that you know, we
knew it came from China. Weknew it came from a region that had
that bio research lab with all thosepathongers in China, and the debate back

(01:07:21):
and forth Fouci not helping all theseother fools, and the upper echelons of
medical decision making in the country justalways wanted to deflect, deflect, deflect
away from the possibility that this pathogenwas accidentally released. And then it took
time. It wasn't n til muchtowards the end of the administration by President

(01:07:42):
Donald Trump that all these suspicions thatwe had that it was possibly released,
all these lab workers who got sick, they had to be hospitalized back in
November, and the spread of thispathage and this COVID pathage more than likely.
Yes, but we will never know, because well I don't want to
say we will never know. Whatwe won't know is what four more years

(01:08:05):
immediately, you know, like areelection of Donald Trump would would have done.
But I think all this what RonDeSantis was mentioned, I think all
this could be and I say shouldbe corrected by the new president, the
returning president Donald Trump on the originsof COVID and hold China to account on

(01:08:30):
this, because when it comes tohe was really good. Donald Trump's really
good when it came to tariffs, putting penalties in place, getting answers,
and I do believe that that's oneof the first things that he should do.
When Donald Trump goes back to office, it's demand answers from China,
open up this information exposed to theworld, to the US, to Europe,

(01:08:51):
because the whole idea is we didn'twant this ever happening again. The
COVID origin that needs to be revisited, I believe, and I think it
can be just like a President Rondde Santas would, I would hope that
that's the focus. I think PresidentDonald Trump would do the same thing and
needs to do, and we wouldneed to ask that he concentrate and focus

(01:09:13):
on that. We need some answersfrom China on this. If not,
maybe some type of reparation for thisawful Some would say mistake. Maybe they
did it on purpose, and maybethey released it to the world to cause
all this chaos and confusion and getrid of Donald Trump. Either way,
I believe like less than a yearfrom now he'll be coming back. That's
Donald Trump back of the White House. But there's other issues that need to

(01:09:36):
be addressed, and they could allbe stacked up and demand that China and
you got a hold in China toaccount fentanyl, the chemicals that produce fentanel.
All that needs to be addressed andChina needs to be held accountable.
You can't be treating China with kickgloves. Yes, I know that the
majority of US manufacturing, sadly whenit comes to pharmaceuticals and a lot of

(01:09:58):
the crap that we buy, manyof assembly lines. Yes, I know
that they're in China. We onlyhave maybe less than ten percent of American
industry and pharma that are looking toescape those Chinese assembly lines and come back,
but they're addicted to cheap labor. We got some cheap labor and the
Americas people, we need Donald Trump, in my opinion, we definitely need

(01:10:20):
him as a chief executive to crackthe whip on the US Chamber of Commerce,
crack the whip on all these industriesthat are overseas, work with lawmakers
to incentivize at a quicker pace, the return of much of this American industry
back either to America or to theAmericans where cheap labor is just south of
us. You know this flood ofillegal liimakers that we have come to us

(01:10:42):
from South America, from Central America, from the Caribbean. That's a big
chunk of the illegal lomerkans that acrossingthe border right now they're coming to us
from the Americas. If we hadsome enterprising, you know, think outside
the box, courageous individuals, titansof industry, to say, you know
what, we're gonna uproot that fromAsia, from China, not be dependent

(01:11:02):
on these boats coming this way.In case something else happens, They're going
to do the U turn, goback over there. No, we're going
to work with the Western hemisphere.Yet a lot of industry, a lot
of assembly lines would stay in Asia. What stay in China? I would
say the overwhelming majority would. Butright now, this reshore, this return
of American industry from Asia is real, and I think Donald Trump needs the

(01:11:26):
whole China culpable responsible, accountable forthe COVID origin for the fentinyl chemicals that
wind up in Mexico, and theproduction of all this poisonous this fentanyl craft
that's killing more than one hundred andten thousand people, one hundred and ten
thousand Americans every single year. Theintellectual theft, all these inventors, all

(01:11:48):
these patents, all this information, all this industry, all these inventions,
all the software that is allowed bythis government providing visus to way too many
Chinese intellectuals to come and work atuniversities, at research facilities, at medical

(01:12:09):
facilities. We have to re examinethat they need to double down on efforts
at the Justice Department to do investigationson intellectual threat and I think we get
that with Donald Trump coming back tothe White House. We don't look now.
By the way, thanks to myfriend, my brother, producer Kanek,
I've been fishing down the show.I saw this one speaking of China.

(01:12:36):
Maybe they're still brewing the next excusesto how they're going to wind up
taking control of the next election orshutting things down or maybe shut down China.
We should not be we should neveragain be in a position or if
China shuts down, if a bigchunk of assembly lines or production shut down
in China, it will affect thesupply chain in America for whatever it is,

(01:13:00):
especially in critical systems, computer chips, and pharmaceuticals and things that relate
to national security. Check this out. Doctors worldwide, they say this report
out of China reportedly in a meltdown. The word in this writer China confirming
that a mysterious pneumonia taking over theircountry has stopped responding to all antibiotics.

(01:13:28):
All right, now, here's whereI read flag this thing antibiotics. Let
me put a little asterisk on there. Some folks questioning the fact that viruses
don't normally respond to antibiotics. That'swhy I red flagged it. Some quote
unquote experts are yet to confirm thenature of these virus. First hand account

(01:13:50):
from China, Mom, they've beenreporting how the strange, unidentified virus has
been causing chaos in some parts ofChina for several weeks. World on high
alert over fears of a new pandemiccould be on the way. When I
spoke with a local infectious disease experton this about a month and a half
ago. We've been hearing this steadydrum beat from China of infections rising,

(01:14:14):
upper respiratory infections rising in China. This is a new report. I have
to look at it with this suspiciouseither. It's the Daily Star that put
this that some people in medicine arein a meltdown because they're confirming in China
they get this mysterious pneumonia. It'sresistant to all antipet antibiotics won't work.
See, that's why I look atit with suspicious antibiotics will work on on

(01:14:35):
viruses. I mean, this iscommon sense. I'm no doctor, but
yeah, I'll get a couple ofkids, and I've had infections of my
mouth. Antibiotics don't work on onviruses either way. So reportedly, China
still working its way through an upperrespiratory system that's kicking their butt, and
they have no medicine for it,no treatment for It's something to put back

(01:14:57):
in the back of your head asanother upper respiratory season and more importantly,
another election season going into next year. Out of sheer obligation to acknowledge some
of the day's news, I gotto cover this next one. But a
fire Democrats senate aide a twenty fouryear old young man who made a gay

(01:15:21):
sex tape in a Senate room. This young man is facing criminal charges.
He made a full throttle X ratedclip. It went viral. I don't
know, see, I don't knowabout this. There are many in the

(01:15:42):
gay community that want you, nomatter what, by force, to accept
their lifestyle. And you got tosee it. You got to want.
I mean that's why they parade andthey prayed with nothing on maybe some sn
M gear and with dudes in highheels and trans and all that, all

(01:16:06):
that stuff that they enjoy in theone life that they have to live that
they're allowed to live. That's whatthey've chosen to enjoy and live, and
that's that's their life. I don't, I don't care. Just don't put
it in front of my kids.Don't. Don't. Don't be flashing your
you know, your male bubble buttinjected surge, you know, surgery enhanced

(01:16:33):
butt in front of my kids.Don't don't let my kids see that.
I don't let my kids see that. I let my kids see, you
know, women doing stuff like that. I got some healthy boys, but
some of these, some of thesefolks in the gay community will force or
want to force everybody to accept themno matter what. And I say this

(01:16:56):
because I don't know if this youngman, this Democrats Senate eight. I
just have my suspicion. It's justa suspicion. I'm just commenting here.
Maybe he released it, Maybe hethrew it out there because he wants everybody
to see, wants everybody to accept. But you know what I find surprising.
Look this guy, this twenty fouryear old young man, Aiden Aiden,

(01:17:21):
miss Kerpopsky. I don't know howto say his name. Twenty four
year old. He worked for DemocratSenator Ben Carden and it clearly shows two
men, you know, getting withit the way that gay men will supposedly
ran this clip in that Senate room, and I'll leave it at that.

(01:17:44):
Why are the Democrats not celebrating this? You know, I seem to recall
when Slick was in the White HouseBill Clinton. You know, his behavior,
his raunchy, unethical, abusive behaviora subordinate and in turn, you

(01:18:06):
know, all this oral stuff, the cigarettes or the cigar arms or all
that stuff. You know, backthen, they were using the excuse to
defend him that, oh, it'sjust sex, It's just I say,
that's private, whatever. That Theywere defending him. They went to great
lengths to defend him, despite thefact that he literally soiled the Oval office

(01:18:27):
with his bodily you know, fluids, and her dress as well, and
they defended. They circle the wagonsto defend him. What has changed?
And where's the gay leadership, gaycommunity, the militants out there protecting this
young man. He's made himself outto be the victims. I don't know,
I'm suspicious of this. I'm thinking, I know, maybe he released

(01:18:50):
it or a friend released it.But either way, he gets fired,
he gets canned. He might befacing criminal charges as a result of a
result of having gay sex in oneof the Senate rooms. Maybe facing criminal
charges. Why I thought you Democratscelebrated this up in Washington. Oh,
I think you guys defended this upin Washington. Maybe this kid wasn't powerful

(01:19:13):
enough for that to warrant that. It's already almost twenty minutes after that.
You're listening to the Dana Show.I'm Sergio Sanchiz. Stick around. I
got a stocking stuff or idea foryou coming up. My friend Jimmy Fala
from Fox Nation Cancel Culture Dictionary, great book. That's details of that coming

(01:19:34):
up in just a little bit. From South Texas. I refer to this
station as the Danis Show Southern Commandk u r V in South Texas.
I'm Sergio Sanchez. This is theDana Show. And now all of the
news you would probably miss. It'stime for Dana's Quick five. I'm Sergio

(01:19:54):
Sanchius in for my friend Dana Lash. Dozens of granola and cereal products being
recalled potential salmonella risk. Quaker Oatcompany sending out this recall. Some of
the items include Quaker Chewy bars, puff Peranola cereal. The company has not
received any confirmed reports of illness. It's just FYI. And then there's this

(01:20:15):
a follow up. You guys rememberthat story of apple sauce pouches. Well
here's the latest had on USA today. The apple sauce pouches recalled for lead
contamination might have been contaminated intentionally.Yikes. He was Food and Drug Administration
investigating whether the recalled cinnamon flavored applesauce pouches sold nationwide and given to all

(01:20:40):
sorts of kids set sixty five kidsgot sick with lead poisoning as a result
of this thing. Now the FDAis I'm sorry that us DA is investigating
if this lead poisoning was intentional somewherein the supply chain. Stay tuned for
details on that one. If weare rotisserie Chicken, the Costcos has sold

(01:21:03):
Costco the Big Box has sold morethan one hundred million dollars worth of gold
bars. They did that last quarter. Costco began selling gold online in September
one, Ounce twenty four cared goldbar selling for about two thousand bucks.
They selled online limit to bars ofgold per costco membership and it sells out.

(01:21:30):
I'm Sergio Sanchez. You're listening toThe Dana Show from South Texas.
Whether you're a policy wonk, anews junkie, or simply someone hungry for
insightful discourse, The Dana Show podcasthas your back. Follow Dana on Apple,
Spotify, or wherever you get yourpodcasts. And it's just perverse to
me that Republicans are weaponizing his addictionbecause they've never accepted his father, Joe

(01:21:56):
Biden, as president. And hemade it clear there's no dot to connect
between his own personal issues with financesand then Vice President Joe Biden. That
is, I know you don't recognizehis voice, but his name you do.
Eric farts Well, Eric swall Well, he was talking to Jim a

(01:22:17):
Coastal at CNN. Another embarrassment. He's saying, you can't connect the dots.
There's no dot, no dots toconnect Hunter Biden's personal problem, his
financial dealings, financial issues. Youcan't connect those dots to Vice President Joe
Biden. I mean, take itfrom a guy, and of course his

(01:22:39):
ilk, his companions who think you'rejust that way. Too many merricks,
and he's right to an extent, because you get about maybe thirty percent of
the electorate and a smaller percentage theystill believe that, for example, Donald
Trump, you know, was inbed with this old Russia hoax. That

(01:23:02):
there's a strong percentage, like twentypeople, twenty percent of people, I
still believe, especially on the Democratside, they still believe that Donald Trump
is in bed, whether Russians wasin bed, whether Russians but this Russian
hoes. And of course Eric Swolwellwas among those that was constantly pushing this
lie as a narrative. Where didwhere did Hunter Biden get the millions of

(01:23:29):
dollars to blow on blow and otherthings that are called blow something? Or
where did he get the millions ofdollars? What? What skill set?
What talent? What high price degree? What corporation does he own? What
assembly line? What? What isit that makes made Hunter Biden so special?

(01:23:57):
Oh? That's right, he's theson is then a vice president and
future president of this country. Theentire Biden clan millionaires, all of them
thanks to Joe Biden and the influencedpeddling of the entire Biden family. We
don't need to connect the dots thereare no dots. Everybody's deep into all

(01:24:19):
this crab. It's all over them. It just needs to be properly addressed
by investigators in the US House, properly and hopefully someday referred to the Justice
Department for these bribes that they've taken. It's obvious to everybody, anyone with
common said. The money that thisguy got for his blow and everything else

(01:24:40):
blow in his life. Yeah,it's from daddy. Because of his daddy.
I want to share with you alittle stocking stuff for conversation here at
just a second. Jimmy Fala fromFox Nation Cancel Culture Dictionary, Stick Around,
Sam's a good book at the boxoffice this weekend, likely when I'm
probably not going to see is Wank. I like the original Gene Wilder,

(01:25:01):
the original Wonker Story. I didn'tlike too much of the remake of this
with Johnny Depp. Nothing against JohnnyDepp. I just you know, stayed
true to form. Thirty nine milliondollars walk at the movie theater this past
weekend, and there's quite a fewmovies coming out this coming week. The
only ones I'm looking forward to,and it's because of my wife. The
story of the Von Erics. Theit's Iron Claw, right, it's about

(01:25:25):
the I don't know much about thevon Erics, so I go, wh
they're twins, brother or something likethat, but I guess it's their life
story. Probably good. The Shiftis another one I'm curious about, and
I wanted to recommend to you onespecific movie. It might still be out
there in select theaters or maybe youcan get it online. The title is
Radical or in Spanish rad kada. You have to roll yours Radhika Radical.

(01:25:50):
And it's one of those stories aboutsomething that really happened, like something from
real life, kind of like theI guess Iron Claw, the von Erics.
That's why I like those movies basedon you know, they're they're like
biopics, biopics, you know, they they're based on real life events,
even though they're kind of loosely based. Just tell me a story. I
want to believe it's true, evenwith all the crazy exaggerations that you put

(01:26:13):
in there. But Radical radkla andyou'll, yes, you have to sit
through all the subtitles. They kindof move pretty fast. But it's it's
US. It's it's South Texas,it's northern Nexville. And if you want
to see conditions the way of lifeimmediately south of Brownsville, Texas. Now

(01:26:35):
Here in Brownsville, here in McCallen, here in Harlingen, the RGV of
Texas, the Southern Command for theNation, for the Dana Show. We're
in glory, we are on blessedWell, we're in the USA. We're
in the land of nine to oneone not so much immediately south of the
Rio Grande. And may you wantto see what life is like down there

(01:26:57):
immediately south of the border. Radicalthe gist of it and see it when
you can. That way, youget a good feel of what life is
like immediately south of the border. It's a story of a prodigy, a
child, a good teacher who broughtin a different way of teaching kids and
away from the standardized test, fromthe National Standardized Test. Long story short,

(01:27:19):
this prodigy, because of this teacher, was discovered and now she's got
like an IQ, greater IQ thanEinstein. This kid is is a real
genius. But this child literally livedlived in a trash heap, in a
trash mountain, and she dreamed aboutthe stars. And there's one scene in

(01:27:42):
particular, and I almost cried whenI saw this child looking across the Boka
Chica, the mouth of the realground, goes on the golf of Mixtro
with a little telescope that she puttogether, looking at SpaceX and the towers
that were going up at Boca Chicabrowns with the SpaceX. So you're continuing
to dream of the stars, dreamof space travel this little child, and

(01:28:04):
she might she might get a dream. That dream might come true because this
child's has been plucked and saved fromthe trash heaps of Mexico, is now
getting a good education and has ahealthier way of life. People protecting her
anyway. It's radical. Go lookfor it has one of the top Mexican
actress of Heno Derbe, and Ithink you'll enjoy that story. I'm going

(01:28:25):
to make you cry. Nineteen minutesto the hour, you're listening to the
Dana Show. I'm Sergio Scianchez broadcastingfrom the Ding Show Southern Command in South
Texas. It's Christmas time and you'reat panicking and looking for a good stocking
stuff. You might be able tobuy an online like a digital version of
or maybe an audiobook version that youcould easily transfer to a friend. Go

(01:28:47):
look for my friend and Jimmy Falahis new book, Cancel Culture Dictionary.
He's the author of a new bookSounds Like a Great Stocking Stuffer, Cancer
Culture Dictionary and a di z Guideto Winning the War on fund right Jimmy
Fayla he described Jimmy Fayler from fountTo describes himself as a trophy husband.

(01:29:12):
Thing is, it's it's more likea participation trophy, right, Jimmy Boom,
You still got it? Serge? How are you bud better now?
Man? That was to get yourenergy back into my life. Man,
Well, I will say I willtell you this. There's a lot of
descriptions in that book that matter. The one where I say that I'm the
best dressed man in cable news.Uh okay. And and let's be clear,

(01:29:38):
I catch a lot of you know, Gutfeld always gives me a hard
I'm sorry, no, no,I'm not serious. That's what I'm saying
is Gottfeldt likes Godfeld likes to mockmy jacket. But he's just mad because
they don't they don't come in kidsizes. And that's all it is.
Well, you know, it isChristmas, it is Salvation Army season.

(01:30:01):
I guess by Salvation Army standards. On the third story, yes, you
will be the best. You arethe best best dress guy and Caple TV
Well said, all right, man, so cancel culture Dictionary. Tell me
about your work. How long doyou work on this? Some of the
stories to put this to Well, here's the deal. Okay, this book,
as we bill it as an Ato Z guide to winning the War

(01:30:24):
on Fun, we're doing that becauseit's I'm basically making the case to anybody.
It doesn't really matter what political partyyou're in. Okay, cancel.
Culture exists in our lives because ofsocial media. But these people existed before
social media. We had a wordfor them. They were called losers.
Okay. Social media allowed a lotof losers to find each other and use

(01:30:45):
their outrage to you know, forceaction from big corporations, from TV networks.
But nothing's better off because of it. And that's the point I'm trying
to make in the book, isthat we're fighting the wrong battles. You
know, we've spent more time thissummer fighting over Jason al Din's song where
he wants to stop violent criminals thenwe did over actual violent criminals. You

(01:31:09):
dig we're mad at the guy withthe guitar than the guy who's pushing the
old lady onto the train tracks. Not to be clear, if the old
lady is a Knicks fan, sheprobably wants to get pushed onto the train
tracks. But that being said,al Dene's not the bad guy. It's
the other person doing the pushing.Yeah. And the platform, as he
rightfully mentioned that the platform for allthis silliness is social media. I'm grateful

(01:31:30):
for it. I mean, it'sa product of the First Amendment and for
expression in this country. But Iwas reflecting on this earlier with Jessica Rosenthal.
We're talking about the lunacy on severalAmerican campuses, Harvard and Penn Look,
and we're not immune to it.Like here at our UT branch in

(01:31:51):
South Texas ut RGV just this week, I was playing some audio mental midgets
just parading around and advocating. Theyhave no idea. They probably have no
idea what they're advocating for. Genocideof all Jews, you know, from
the river to the sea. Justmonkey, see monkey do They did it
up northeast, We're going to doit as well down here. It's amazing
the ignorance, and within twenty fourto thirty six months, Poul, I

(01:32:14):
mean, go figure on social media. Look in this country, hypersensitivity on
race and culture and the Enlightenment. They were taking down statues, they were
getting great of Anchemiama, Uncle Ben'sthe Redskins. That was like thirty six,
twenty four to thirty six months ago, and now blatant opened, unashamed
anti semitism. It campuses all acrossthe nation, and Director's doing nothing about

(01:32:35):
have to be hauled up to DCto talk with lawmakers about this. It's
amazing. Yeah, I've never beena hypocrisy as well. Yeah, it's
amazing, amazing. Never been prouderto have gone to community college and majored
in intro to Xbox because I didn'twind up, you know, hating America
or accumulating a half a gazillion dollarsin deaths community college. I had to

(01:32:57):
give a guy like a six packof stros to get in. Yeah,
and uh, you know, Igot some common sense along the way,
man, And that's that's kind ofmore what you need than anything. Right
now, I think we're being honest. They don't laugh too much at the
people majoring and stuff. Like that. I kid you not local schools.
They have u IL competitions for videogames now like Xbox and the PlayStations.

(01:33:18):
That's amazing. That changes. Look, I'm all for free expression and all
that, and thank god we livein America where we can do that.
But those same people, those hip, those hypocrites a long time ago,
who next them? Destroyed statues andsymbols in corporations, all those idiots and
hypocrites. I say, bring themback, bring everything back. It works

(01:33:40):
both ways. It works both ways. That's the way it should be.
In the Mayora. Just a quickfinal thought on your book, cancel culture
Dictionary, tell me, tell meabout it. One final thought. They
can buy it at Foxnewsbooks dot com. If one of them buys it,
it will double my sales. Rightnow, we have my mom. I've
been told my aunt Fran as amaybe, but no, it's moving elt
and it's basically listen, I'm fixingthe compass. The compass is broken in

(01:34:03):
society. You know everything we're goingafter. You mentioned a lot of it,
like Native American mascots. Who theheck does that help? Okay for
all the problems Native Americans face.Okay, The halftime show, isn't one
of them. Never mind that theWashington Redskins. Okay, that logo was
donated by a Native American tribe whowanted the chief's image on the helmet.

(01:34:23):
Okay, because a redskin was nota racial term. It was the highest
honor of warrior that got to painttheir face before leading the tribe into battle.
But a bunch of woke white peoplewere like, yeah, the Native
Americans, this is halftime show, isn't okay? And then once you change
the mascot, we move on asif we've actually made progress, and as
you know, we haven't made anyprogress for that community. But that's the

(01:34:44):
Freuda cancel culture. It's not activism, it's slacktivism. It allows people to
feel like they're making a difference ontheir phone by changing their profile picture to
the Ukrainian flag, and then whenthey're done, they go google Ukraine and
find out where it is. Thankyou for being who you are. And

individuals trying to get rid of thethe logo for the Redskins. Right.

(01:36:00):
It reminded me of the story ofanother story about the SpaceX. And they're
being called to court again. Itis the American Bird Conservancy and they say
a Native American tribe so doing thea federal regulator because they're not doing their
job in protecting the environment. Sayfirst time that Elon Musk back, I
think it was back in April.Center rocket. Try to send a rocket,
just the big one, the biggestrocket ever created. Right, It

(01:36:24):

a metal pad to launch pad. There's an economic transportation taking place here and
the tip of Texas real in SouthTexas in large part thanks to Elon Musk

million a million square feet of productionlike a big rocket factor here in South
Texas. Just thought i'd let youknow, Exam, I sing the praises
