(00:00):
Thank you, ambassador, Thank you. Please. What was the cause of
the United States Civil War? Well, don't come with an easy question or
anything. I mean, I thinkthe cause of the Civil War was basically
how government was going to run thefreedoms and what people could and couldn't do.
(00:21):
What do you think the cause ofthe Civil War was? I'm sorry
you said, I'm not right.I think it always comes down to the
role of government and what the rightsof the people are. And I will
(00:43):
always stand by the fact that Ithink government was intended to secure the rights
and freedoms of the people. Uhhuh, yeah, getting caught and whole
States rights issue. It's the sword, missus, ambassador. And you
know she later on goes on tosay, you know, this guy was
a plant, and I'll share thathere in a second. Hey, welcome
(01:04):
to the Dana Show. And asfar as the week is concerned, second
to last live program for the DataShow for twenty twenty three. Man,
we can't pack this sucker up andput it away faster. I'm Sergio Sanchez
and you're listening to The Dana Showfrom what I refer to as her Southern
Command here in Texas, South Texas. Still don't blessed soil USA USA.
(01:26):
We're in Texas Oil. Yeah, she's in North texas'm South Texas. This
is the Dana Show. Yeah,Nikki Hayley, you someone call it.
I was thinking of calling this anunforced area. It's more like a fumble,
you know. They throw, theythrow a softball, a whiffle ball
at her and swing and miss. You drop the ball. It's you know,
(01:51):
what they're looking for, Ambassador Governor, They're looking for the ass word
and what does slay unless you're talkingabout modern day slaves, the illegal immigrants,
the sex slaves, you know, those thousands of individuals that have been
(02:12):
trafficked by the cartels and cartels makingbillions of dollars and sending people into this
country to work literally as well belowminimum wage slave labor in food processing facilities
or nightclubs or you name it.Some of these sex workers they're forced to
pay off the thousands of dollars thatthey paid the cartels and these trafficking networks,
(02:36):
the cartels of May and they're associatesand the criminal the gangs that are
in Houston, Dallas and major citieshere on the border as well. All
these US based gangs and from CentralAmerica. MS thirteen and all these other
gangs, these thugs, they're allemployees of the cartels that have billions upon
(02:59):
billions of dollars in their pockets thanksto US policy that is allowing anyone,
everyone to cross the border illegally andstay gained the asylum system. You know,
they pose as asylum seekers and that'swhat they're being called these days.
But what does slavery have anything todo? You know, when a question
(03:22):
this is so frustrating. They're goingafter her because you know, the woke
left and somebody wanted to get asound by an easy and somebody got it.
She trips, she trips up waytoo easy. My goodness, does
she not think these things through?I mean, it's obvious. You can
see it coming them all the way. If they're asking a question about slavery,
(03:46):
yes, you know, someoneould callit the original American sin. It's
not unique. It's not exclusive toAmerica. There's slavery today, there was
slavery way before that for thousands ofyears. It's a human failing, a
human sin. It's not exclusive toships coming from Africa filled by Africans by
the way to come into the Caribbeancoming to the East coast, to come
(04:11):
through Louisiana. It's not exclusive toAmerica. But they're looking to tar and
feather and soil. The name ofNikki Hilly and she fell for it.
Man, if she can't hit awith football like this, Oh, ambassador,
why what are you doing running forthe presidency? Like a question like
that pops up? You know youhave to push bay, like take that
(04:35):
clown the task, call him aplant, say something I don't know,
like yeah, the driving force werealmost two generations before hundreds upon hundreds of
American young men, boys died onthe battlefield, America shedding its blood to
(04:59):
pay for this sin of slavery thatthey wanted to get rid of for almost
two generations. The driving force behindthis is some states would allow slavery,
Some wooden new states come in,which one gets it, what's a dozen?
And in the end, yes, states rights, but Indian the driving
force behind this, of course,it's slavery, a huge driver for this.
(05:27):
It's my goodness. You call thema plant, say yeah, the
driving force of slavery. And bythe way, you know, I like
to welcome this democrat or woke plantto the audience, I look forward to
represent you as well for the sakeof proteking your liberty. And by the
way, if you want to knowabout slavery that still exists today, this
(05:50):
administration, the Biden administration, allowsit to fester and multiply exponentially because the
cartels are bringing in modern day slaves, people working well below minimum wage and
some of these food assembly lines, food processors, or whatever it is that
they're forced to do. Yeah,we have slavery today, and as president,
(06:14):
I'm going to work to root thisout and crack down on this crime
and cry down and something like that. But oh no, the long,
pregnant pause. Oh here it comes. They want to tie me to the
Dixie. They want to tie meto the South, they want to expose
my just push back immediately. Mygoodness. She did comment on this guy
(06:39):
being a plant, which one isit, Steve It's yeah, it was
cut six, Nikki Haley responding tothat question later, No, it was
definitely a Democrat plant. That's whyI said, what does it mean to
you? And if you notice hedidn't answer anything, the same reason he
didn't tell the reporters what his namewas, the same reason he went and
showed the guy that you was withthe tweet that went up after he did
(07:01):
it. We see these guys whenthey come and we know what they're doing,
and we know from the call himout, call them out. A
governor. He did say something.I'm not the one. I'm not the
one running for president, he said, is clown. Call him out on
it. Say the darn word thathe's looking for, which is obvious.
It's the driving force for almost twogenerations. Talk about modern day slavery.
(07:26):
You can't. You don't have thepolitical improvisation skills enough to handle something like
this. Man cut five. Idon't know when she said this. Steve
has new audio on her tripling downon what she originally said, but first
it was I guess cut five beforeshe said that the final audio going to
(07:48):
go ahead or was about slavery. We know that's that's the easy part of
it. What I was saying waswhat does it mean to us today?
What it means to us today isabout freedom. That's what that was all
about. It was about individual freedom, it was about economic freedom, it
was about individual rights. Our goalis to make sure no, we never
(08:09):
go back to the staying of slavery. But what's the lesson in all of
that. The lesson and all this, in my opinion, is that she
doesn't have the political skills to fightproperly and win. I mean, this
is a this is a whiffle ball, not even softball. It was a
whiffleball. Oh and recently, Idon't know, like about an hour ago,
(08:30):
Nikki Haley said this go ahead.Steve asked about the Civil War and
what I think of the Civil War? What was the cause of the Civil
War? Of course, the CivilWar was about slavery. We know that.
That's unquestioned always the case. Weknow the Civil War was about slavery,
(08:52):
but it was also more than that. It was about the freedoms of
every individual. It's a one wordanswer and then a short sentence afterwards.
It's real eazy, Loria. I'mnot running for president. I only did
the whole chairman things volunteer for twoterms here in South Texas and thanks to
(09:16):
many wonderful volunteers and precinct chairs amongthem, one who passed away. He's
already with the Lord. I foundout yesterday Jim Barnes. Gotta bless you,
Jim Barnes. Well, all thesehard working volunteer, open up a
permanent lord, winning a permanent competitionhere in South Texas, Republican HQ.
That was back in twenty fourteen. It's still open today. They're still fighting.
(09:37):
Things are changing, and Democrat, deep blue Democrat South Texas it comes.
And I know for many all inthe artists, the answer came real
easy, one word, throw itback, talk about modern day slavery.
But she doesn't have that information alreadyin her head, rolling in her head.
(10:00):
Some reaction to this, let mesee. The press secretary for Governor
Ron Decantis went online on Twitter, mister Griffin, let's see status report Donald
Trump complaining about his treatment in themovie Home Alone too. I was sure
(10:20):
Donald Trump said a lot more thanthat. Nicky Haley stepped in a giant
messarone making Ron DeSantis dismantling the farleft Miami Days School Union. Take your
pick among amongst these three. Andspeaking of picking, here's this little interesting
audio cut. Thank you Steve forthis one. F y. I just
(10:41):
sidebar and mentioned I don't know ifa former president Trump would still consider the
former governor and advansdor Nicky Haley beinghonest. Take but there's a cut from
I guess several hours back. Trump, Well, I actually got along with
her very well. As you know. She left it a nice ceremony of
the way in the Oval office. It was very nice. She said terrific
(11:03):
things about me. She said he'sa great president. And then she decided
out of nowhere to run. SoI was a little bit surprised at that.
But that's a politician. No,I'm not considering anybody at this time.
Jenny. Yeah. But by theway, mister President, she did
say she'd never run if you wererunning. I do remember that, and
as part of the audio and videocollection that's out there, So I never
(11:26):
run if he's running. And thenI'm announcing my candicy for president. It's
man, this a woman. She'sall over the place. Donald Trump still
not ruling out Nikki Haley as beep. I don't know if today's audio helps
the lack of quick, quick thinking, on your feet, able to improvise,
talk about the issues, call theclowns out that you know are going
(11:50):
to be in the crowd. Youopen up a microphone to a a clown
to speak, call him out.Just my goodness, can't do that.
How's she going to a fight whenit comes to real issues for the nation,
sitting around the table with cabinet officialshaving to provide answers, and somebody
(12:11):
pushes back, and how's she goingto push back? Does she need Krispy
Kreme? Chris did come to herdefense every time. Man, Oh my
goodness. That's a crazy world ofpolitics. And by the way, as
far as vice presidential pick, thisis for former President Trump and all of
(12:35):
his minions. Some employees maybe tuninginto the data show. Can I put
I'd like to put in my twocents? Could you please consider doctor Ben
Carson. I'll just consider doctor BenCarson. You know he's a brain surgeon.
You know, came from just awfulpoverty, in American poverty. You
know his mom forced them to readbooks instead of watching television all the time.
(13:00):
Yours truly and millions of other youknow, we could tell you,
We could tell you all the episodeswere Gilligan's Island Scooby Doo. You know
we watch reruns over kids. Thisdude, his mom was forcing him to
bring library books over and I'm justgetting more library books and became a brain
surgeon, Doctor Ben Carson. He'san all American inspirational story not only for
(13:20):
blacks, not only for inner cityblacks, but for all Americans, all
Americans, including all the little, cute, little baby white kids in Appalachia
living in trailers, living in direpoverty. They never get mentioned. They
(13:41):
they have access to the American dream. They have access. So only somebody,
the adults in their lives, dowhat is right. And now,
whether there are white kids in Appalachia, blacks in the inner city, Latinos
in the inner city, or onthe border of American citizens place, let's
vote is on that. As longas the adults in their life do the
(14:03):
right thing, do right. Makesure that these kids get the proper education.
That is not free, it's paidfor. It's paid by tax payers.
And I know the unions screw everythingup by not allowing any change in
competition and education. That's a wholeother subject. But the books, the
math books, the English books, the science books, they're all the same.
At all schools. Are babies, all American babies from Appalachia, white
(14:26):
kids. Well snot knows white kids, the inner city kids who are dirty
diapers, and Latino kids. It'sso sad I have to talk about our
babies this way. It shouldn't bethat way. The adults in their lives
need to force these children to concentrateread them books, learn wrote, learning,
repeat learning, but learn critical thinkingon the way to eventually getting high
(14:50):
school, college, master's doctoral degree. Just like doctor doctor Ben Carson,
Doctor Ben Carson, Mister President AllAmerica Story, great success Stories, just
sug jesting. I'm Sergio Sanchez. You're listening to the Dana Show, reporting

allegedly going off trail at Yellowstone NationalPark. James Bond charge in US District
Court this week. So he's accusedof wandering off near one of the park's
hydro thermal features. There's some boardwalks on these things so that you don't
(15:56):
accidentally like step into scalding boiling hotwater. The water there's like two hundred
degree Pire's Brosnan making that court appearance. Set to make a court appearance at
next month. In case you're goingto the Rose Parade Rose Bowl. Heads
up, he got some irate employeesnearby that might be affecting your stay.

looming strike at the Hilton Pasading andthe Hyatt Place Pasading, the hotels involving
everyone, the cooks, the roomattendants, the dishwashers, servers, bell

for this administration. I'm so gladyou could join us today. You want
to say hi online, It's atSergio Talk on X. You know the
Twitter thing from ourtin neighbor Elon muskhere brownsel SpaceX. I always love saying
(18:53):
that. I still pinch myself.I can't believe it. I'm saying that
here in Deep South text. Wegot space. That's cool, okay,
So say hi online at Sergio talkLord Welling, Dan and I should be
back with us at Swinging for theFences or early next week for twenty twenty
four. Hey, stick around.I've got a conversation I wanna share with
(19:14):
you in case you missed it,and I don't blame you if you did,
even you know, yours truly, and a whole bunch of other folks
who kind of need to stay pluggedin see what's going on in the world,
just to make sure the wall isn'tblowing up so that we, you
know, because if it is,we have to run back to the radios
to fire up the radio station, start talking about do you know, do
the play by play as what's comingto an end? You know, do
(19:36):
the news bit. It's Christmas thispast week. I just, I just
I un applied. I turned offthe phone, I left the charging on
the other room. I don't care, man, I just don't care.
If we're about to get hit bya meteor, I don't want to know.
Man, just I'm not gonna dothe play by play. So I
say this because you know, inChristmas weekend we all implied there was a
lot of belligerence some individuals, andyou know it's the usual crowd these days,
(20:02):
you know, the pro terrorism, pro terrorist group CAMAS and the nation
that never was, you know,Palestine, Palestinians. You know, these
anti Semites, all these jew haterstaking to the streets, and this time
they were going after Christmas, andyou know whether it was in front,
you know, protest outside in frontof a cathedral during Christmas Mass, or
(20:25):
you know, interrupted people's travel atthe airport, make sure they didn't make
to the airport. They just wantto cancel Christmas. All these radical crazy
Muslims and these pro terrorist group Massupporters out there in New York. There
was a lot of unrest this pastweekend. A lot of New York cops
got hurt as a result of theseguys going violent, you know, swinging
at the cops, pushing these cops, hurting these cops, throwing I don't
(20:47):
know, projectiles, rocks or something. So Joe CARDINALI my friend from New
York, longtime friend. I'd alwaysloved speaking with him, and he'll give
me a quick report on what tookplace this past Christmas weekend up in New
York. And folks in New York, they only have themselves to blame because
they voted in a noodle spine softon crime prosecutor's office. They voted in
(21:11):
all these ridiculous walk leftist Democrat politicians. You have yourself to blame. Up
Northeast, all you crazy democrats runningthe top ten, probably top twenty American
cities, You guys who voted themin as your fault. Anyway, that
conversation is coming up. Latest onon Team Biden in may he Go.
(21:34):
I mean I am envy Team byI think I think they get some really
good food in Mexico City has someof the best restaurants on the planet,
so some of the best cuisine, and I'm sure they got that. At
the Presidential Palace with the quasi communistAmlo Andres Manuel Lopez sover Theloda Amlo so
Team Biden, it was Tony Blincolnand Alex Majorcas. He's doing the Menorica's
(22:00):
bare minimum, always doing the baremini when it comes to any border security.
Tony blank in Alex Mayorka is talkingwith you know, Mexican top rass
and even Amblo, the president ofmay he Go. Now we still need
to get some details. Everybody's celebratingthis meeting like like I was saying,
yes, it's just the kabookie dance, pretending they're doing something about this human
(22:23):
tsunami we see at the border.I know that they didn't travel to the
border. They didn't see the borderat Arizona, you know, south of
Phoenix. They definitely didn't go tohelp Pass or didn't go to Eagle Pass,
definitely didn't come down and visit myfriends of Border patrol here in the
Archivia, Texas Laredo, and thenwent to Mexico State to talk it up.
(22:45):
So still no disclosure on how mayhe Go is going to help the
Biden White House on this, becausehe basically told Blanket and Mayorkas go down
and do something, tell him dosomething about this man. Yes, but
of course Biden Creed. I wonderif anybody said that, oh, by
the way, you created this mess. How about you know, reverse whatever
it is you did at the beginning. Maybe that might help. I can
(23:10):
tell you, though some reports aresaying that pretty much Blanket and Mayorkas went
down to tell am hey, youneed to crack down your cartels. Crack
down the cartels. News flash, boys, the cartels are the government of
Mexico. By default. They arethe de facto government of Mexico. Your
(23:33):
weak court system. No prosecutors, you know, in their right mind,
or at least the ones who enjoybeing alive, not wanting to assume room
temperature. No prosecutores going after thecartels. Police, local, all corrupt,
military, huge chunk corrupt state police. Same thing. The cartels run
the roads, run the streets, they run everything from the city halls to
(23:56):
the state government. The Lord knowshow many people in Mexico City and their
legislature influence of the cartels. They'rethe ones with the deep podckets, They're
the ones influencing the elections. Crackdown on the cartels. Sure. Oh,
and by the way, I can'tsay Amblo did tell these boys,
hey, this is a US problem. In other words, this is your
(24:18):
problem. So after knowing those twothings, what possibly could have Tony Blincoln
and Alex Majorca's have resolved or inspiredor forced the Mexican government to do in
order to help the situation. Meantime, that massive caravan of thousands of one
(24:40):
thousands of people in vehicles at anorthern Central America across into southern Mexico.
It's continuing to travel north. Thenthey'll be dispersed. That population will be
dispersed among many cities here at theborder. How about the issue of fentanel.
By the way, did that getaddressed? Early reports say no.
Don't expect the fentanyl issue to theycome out. I'm Sergio Sanchez you're listening
(25:03):
to the Danias Show from South Texas. We'll talk more about the border next
hour of the program. I sharewith your conversation with Arts deliquette to another
top leader with the Border Patrol Union, saying it the way it is.
Meantime again, we were all disconnectedfrom the news during Christmas weekend and it
got violent up in New York. Some cops got hurt, some Muslims wanting
(25:25):
to cancel Christmas. Go ahead,Steve. We were all with family during
Christmas. Christmas weekend and some ofus disconnected, unplugged from the news.
But there's news out of New Yorkthat you should know. So I'm going
to bring in Joe CARDINALI. He'sa retired New York Police lieutenant commander and
I consider him a dear friend.I hope to someday, I hope to
someday meet you in person. Joe, We've been talking for years now,
(25:48):
but I see this news out ofNew York this past weekend for Christmas,
and I know a lot of yourfriends and colleagues. They got beat up
by some protesters, malcontents, Islamiccrazies demanding Christmas be canceled. Tell us
what happened this past weekend up inNew York. It was just a typical
craziness up here Sergia. It wasIt just boggles my mind that they allowed
(26:11):
this to happen in the first place. That they are allowed to go by
Saint Patrick's Cathedral and disrupt mass. They're allowed to go to areas like now
yesterday Kennedy Airport and stop passengers fromtrying to board the planes, you know,
by the terminals, and this isallowed. And yesterday some of them
(26:32):
were were arrested, which was nice. I'm glad the port authority police you
know, had their game on.But to allow this with Mayor Adams and
a police commission instead of making this, you know, frozen zones. In
other words, you want to protest, that's fine, but you're not going
to do it and disrupt mass, all right, because this is what it's
(26:52):
come to. They're allowed to doanything. So we have to get back
and I think they should make itfrozen zones and say you cannot come to
this area. It's a house ofworship, it's a sensitive location. Because
we tried doing that by a mosqueor anything else, we would be held
accountable for it. And yet it'sonly one. It's a one sided game
for them, and the officers aregetting injured because they're allowing them to form
(27:14):
in these large groups, and theofficers are you know, sustaining. You
know, one of them got hitin the head with an object. They
think it might have been a rock, and it's just ridiculous that they allowed
this to happen in the first place. And Morris coming. According to Eric
Adams, he's expecting more. Hewas in the news just a couple of
days back saying he's expecting more ofthis belligerents and violence as we go into
(27:37):
the New Year New Year celebrations aroundNew York. It almost sounds to me
like he was throwing his hands upand defeated. Okay, morse com and
just be ready for it. That'sexactly what he's doing. You know a
thousand with Wychwo K. We hady chuo K back then. So I
worked Times Square that you know thatweek and uh and I'm going and I'm
telling you that it was. Itwas a frozen zone. Only had certain
(28:00):
ways in and certain ways out.You were told to move. If you
didn't move. I had the incidentmyself. I had a group of protesters
on the corner, young college kids, and I said to them, come
on, I pleaded with them.I said, come on, you know
it's New Year's you're going to spendthe night in jail. You're going to
spend a few days in jail.If you don't move this area, you
cannot you know, congregate here. You have to move. And they refused
(28:22):
to do it. They were bligeringabout it. They just said no,
no, no, screw you,We're going to do this. And I
said, okay, no problem.Called in four mounted units. They came
down and backed the horses right intothe crowd, and one of them wound
up in the hospital broken foot. And then after that, I said,
not only are you going to spendthe night in jail, you're going to
be you know, in the hospital. You're going to be in jail after
this for refusing to leave. Becauseback then you had the DAGs that did
(28:45):
the job they had to do.The cops were allowed to do their job.
We did what had to be donebecause we enforced the law. And
that's the problem in this country, all right, they pick and choose.
When you were allowed to enforce thelaw. We are no longer a proactive
police department. We are reactive policedepartment, and that's not the way it
should be. What does this doThis soft on crime mindset by the prosecutors
(29:11):
that the das and citizens have stupidlyvoted in that were not prosecuting crime.
These lawmakers that are changing laws anddeciding to increase thresholds on certain crimes so
that some individuals are not prosecuted. What does all this do to retainment and
recruitment over at New York pet nevermind retaining surgery. Those days are gone.
(29:33):
Everybody's flying out the door. Imean, anybody that's eligible for retirement
is not putting their pension on youknow, their livelihood on the line anymore.
They're retiring. I have early retirements. You have people that outright leaving
the job and going to better communitiesdown in Florida or wherever it is where
the police are appreciated. We aregoing to be down to a staggering number
that don't I can't fathom this. We're going to be down to about twenty
(29:56):
seven thirty six thousand that when Iwas on Wow, and that's that's it's
unheard of. Because this city, you need those numbers to enforce the law
here to keep things, you know, quiet, And now we have the
migrants that are coming to the illegalmigrants that are coming in and wreaking have
(30:17):
it on the economy and the city. And Adams just keeps his answer to
this is to cut back the policedepartment, to find the department sanitation,
all the essential services, even education, cutting back on everything just to take
care of the situation. He blamesit on Washington. Well, you declared
yourself, you know, safe havenfor them. Yes, so you know,
you know you brought this on yourself, you and the rest of the
(30:40):
Democratic Party who refuses to stop this. This surge is bleeding at the border.
You know, this is ridiculous, you know. And I told them
a while back, you and Ispoke about this. I said, this
is what Texas goes through every singleday. You're only getting a dose of
what they go through, all right, and small doses. You're getting it.
So stop complaining. Put your bigboy pants on and stop complaining.
(31:03):
You got hemorrhaging of the population.People with money, people with businesses.
They're leaving New York and you're replacingwith hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants gaming
the asylum system that are being fedand housed, they're providing education, medical
up in New York. I don'tknow if any of these folks are transitioning
into some of the low waste jobsin the area. Last I heard not
(31:29):
too many of them who are morethan six months and they're waiting in the
asylum system. Could be working, they're not working. And then with a
police force, it's down at leasttwenty five percent, you said, from
thirty six thousand when you're working downto about twenty seven thousand and still shrinking.
That's not a very good trend forpublic safety near future. No,
absolutely. And here's the other thingwith the illegal migrants, all right,
(31:52):
what they're doing is they set themup at a place called Floyd Bennetfield that
used to be an Air Force baseover there to be uh you know,
now it's our aviation unit and theCoast Guard is over there, and they're
housing them over there in the tentsand everything, and they're getting cell phones,
they're getting everything else. So whatdo they do. They just get
on the you know, their littlewalking spreeze or they hit your ride and
(32:14):
they go and take a bus becausethat's that's free from into the public transportation,
and then they go to a placelike King's Plaza and they're begging for
money, and they're they're you know, actually accosting people saying listen, we
want this, we want because theyhave that sense of entitlement already that you
know, they they think they cango and approach anybody, and the people
in the neighborhood are like, whoayou know, say, this is the
(32:37):
man you voted in, this isthe man who declared us a sanctuary city.
And I come on, give mea break. You know it's enough?
Is enough? When do you stopthe hemorrhaging that you just mentioned,
when when it really hurts? Ithink New York needs to go through a
lot more pain. Chicago, Philly, DC, they need to go through
a lot more pain and eventually bringin those prosecutors that will be tough on
(33:00):
crime and city hall leadership at allthose big cities that will be tough on
crime and decide to protect their citizens. We saw it once. There was
a New York from the seventies thattransformed into the New York of the eighties.
We had a Rudy Giuliani back then. But it's going to take a
while for that political culture to changeif voters want to change it. Because
now I hear that some folks thatare not citizens are going to be allowed
(33:21):
to vote up there pretty soon. That's what they want, that's what they
want. They want that this translatesto the biggest thing for the Democrats.
It translates to votes, all right, and people are too blind to see
it. And you're right, Sergio, it will not change it until it
hits home for some of them, all right. When crime hits home for
some of these politicians and somebody gotforbid in their family or somebody they know,
(33:44):
a relative, a friend, isaccosted and maimed or you know,
robbed or even sexually assaulted, that'swhen it's going to make a difference for
them. But until then, it'sstatus quo. You never know, maybe
a multi billionaible Donna beat suit andbe a vigilante and protect citizens overnight,
you know, in Gotham's Idios. That's what we're headed right down here.
(34:07):
I don't think. I don't thinkwith everything going on, the light we'll
reach up in the sky, youknow. I think we're going to have
a problem with that. I thinkwe're ready for a red Dawn scenario in
this country. I really do,Lord, help us safer and happy.
Twenty twenty four. Joe, asalways, it's a pleasure. You'd be
safe, my friend. You twoof my friends are you and the family
and you listeners? Retired New YorkPolice Department Lieutenant Commander Joe Cardinally is,
(34:31):
by the way, the original RedDawn with Patrick Swayzee. That's the winner.
I know they didn't remake a fewyears back, but the original the
best one. That's with Patrick Swayzey. I'm Sergio Sanchez. You're listening to
the Dana Show from her Southern Commandin the Rio Grand Valley of Texas.
Follow Dana on Apple, Spotify orwherever you get your podcasts because knowledge is
(34:53):
your ultimate superpower. You're in tuneto the Dana Show from Texas. Blessed
Soil USA and of course a doubleblessing is Texas. I'm Sergio Sanchez.
It's an um to be with youtoday and closing out twenty twenty three,
what willing Dana should be with usfor live programming sometime next week. I
(35:15):
got lots of news to share withyou, including an update on status report
from a border arts del Quintal. He's another national leader for the Border Patrol
Union. And as I've told youbefore, normally I don't celebrate unions like
worker unions, but I gotta saylike in almost thirty years of broadcasting here
(35:36):
on the Border, the Border Patrolthanks to their union and management too,
by the way, but mostly it'sthe union. They tell you how it
is, and they man they usethat shield, that union shield, really
that powerfully use it to protect themselvesand tell you the status warts so arts
joining us next hour of the DanaShow. So stick around for that.
(35:58):
Well, and by the way, status report on the those Apple smart watches,
you know the ones that Biden decidednot to step in and say no,
well, you know there's an infringementcopyright infringement on oxygen readings and blood
oxygen sensors and all those things, and decided not to honor the campaign contribution.
Well, there was a court's rulinglate yesterday, an appeals court temporarily
(36:22):
blocked the enforcement of the International TradeCommission order barring those Apple smart watches from
South Texas. I'm Sergio Sichez. This is the data show, the technical
support that we received from the federalgovernment. We appreciate that work authorization to
put people on the pathway to sustainability. I certainly appreciate that. And without
(36:44):
real significant investment from our federal government, it won't just be the city of
Chicago that won't be able to maintainthis mission. It's the entire country that
is now at stake. But inno way what the state of Texas is
doing is helping the cause. ChicagoMayor, let's go Brandon Johnson in the
(37:07):
news, you know, there wasanother bit of news attributed to him which
I just found just jaw dropping amazing. He said that the entire country is
at stay if Congress doesn't pass apathway to citizenship, Like, who in
(37:27):
the right mind proposes something like thisunless they're absolutely bonkers crazy not jobs,
which is pretty much a description ofthe entire modern representation in the Democrat Party
these days. Welcome to hour twoof the Dana Show. I'm Sergio Sanchez
and for my friend Dana Lash andI'm reporting to you from from Texas,
(37:51):
the opposite side of Texas. Tipof Texas here where the rockets are flying
into space are pretty soon at SpaceX. Yeah, RGV of Texas. It's
an honor be with you today. You want to say high online, it's
at Sergio Talk on the twitters,on the X thing. I got lots
of not lots. We used tohave lots of politicians, many politicians,
(38:13):
Democrats, all pretty much all insome Republicans. I learned the GW years
there were I told you yesterday ifyou tuned in, and if you didn't,
go check out the podcast. Thecondensed version of the data show there's
two sets of individuals in the immigrationworld that have been ignored. Number one,
people trying to get into the countrylegally. Well, I say there's
three sets because at the time Iwas talking about one key set, which
(38:37):
is, you know, the folkswho are being politically or for religious reasons,
they're being prosecuted. The other setof folks who are trying to come
into the country I legally. Youknow, they paid their attorney's fees,
they pay the State Department fees, they're waiting in line, pay checking the
mailbix, waiting for a text messagewhen they can enter the country illegally for
work reasons, because of marriage oryou know, family reasons, whatever it
(39:00):
is. Those folks completely ignore. Now that we have millions upon millions and
millions of people that are gaining theasylum courts, gaming the asylum system in
this country. The other group wasthe so called dreamers. Remember those dreamers,
the folks who are now adults. They need to work perm it,
you know, to work legally. They do have one compliments of Barack Husain
(39:23):
Obama, Oh Barry gave them thewhole dreamer label and gave them a chance
under DACA, the Deferred action youknow, whatever you call the DACA thing.
He tried the DAPPA thing for theparents right that failed in court,
but the DAKA thing still has notbeen shot down because of the sympathy of
(39:45):
most and I I'm there with youto a large extent. You know,
there were kids, there were babies, the parents across the border illegally.
They grew up, they thought theywere American and then they grew up.
Where's my Social Security number? That'sa fake soci Security number. Like I
like to get a job. Idon't even speak the language of my parents,
(40:07):
and I don't want to be kickedout of the country. And you
know, we we sympathize, empathize. I know some beautiful people, real
wonderful people, god fearing people, hard working highly educated individuals, licensed professionals
and like in big trades like majorlike engineering, accounting times. You know,
(40:31):
yeah, they're part of that thatDOCA group. But any effort to
provide some solution, all that wasflushed away by Joe Biden and his just
amazing incompetence. As I might saythat he's doing all this on purpose to
(40:52):
destroy a country. Well, I'mwilling to listen to you. I'm not
willing to listen to people that saynine to eleven was an insect job.
I just wanted to laugh that away. I'm not willing to listen to people
say the moon landings were fig really, But I'll listen to some of yah
every now and there, Burke say, Andree Biden's doing this on purpose to
(41:12):
destroy our country? What else? What's the what's the motivation behind this?
Other than that? Because that's theend result. It's crazy. The dreamers
have been forgotten in this argument. And now compliments compliments of Greg Abbott,
our governor here in Tech. Godbless you, Greg, you and messess
(41:36):
big hugging a kiss to you, thank you for what you're doing. Keep
fighting, brother, I know youget a lot of flak and a lot
of criticism, but thank you, governor. Been sending all these charter buses
you're in and a half two yearsnow, some of these sending these flights
full of illegals up there. Yougot I believe New York. It was
Eric Adams up in New York pushingback in the news again saying that he
(41:57):
wants these charter buses, these buscompanies, charter buses to give like thirty
six hours notice before they arrive inNew York so that you know, they
can be prepared to absorb these peoplethat across the border legally and now are
seeking refuge up in New York becausethey hear good things about New York there.
They provide them like some shelter asquickly as possible, get them some
cell phones, get them into thecommunity. Yeah, you missed that conversation
(42:20):
with Joe cardinally on the situation upin New York. Check the previous hour.
Just do the rewind rewind to theprevious audit on this podcast. All
right, this you know if youcan do the rewind on this audio.
Yeah, it's it's it's awful inNew York. It's getting worse, and
these people fleecing, harassing, folks, just regular tourists up in New York
for money instead of going out andget jobs. All of these folks that
(42:43):
have been in the country legally quoteunquote air quotes airquo legally because of the
asylum thing considered line for an asylumhearing many years down the road, Yeah,
six months off. If they stayhere, they could be working somewhere,
washing dishes, doing something. There'slots of help wanted signs up in
New York. They're not taking thosegigs. They're shaking down touristshaking down residents
(43:04):
open New York and parks and areasthat are highly trafficked by pedestrians, shaking
them down for cash. And they'recrazy. It's things are gonna They're just
gonna get worse. Thank you,Governor Greg Abbott for helping us open the
eyes of the country to this Bidenborder mess. The dinosaur media in this
country. As bad as things areright now, and they've never been this
(43:25):
bad on a daily basis, we'resetting records on a weekly basis, same
thing, quarterly, so on andso forth. Man, we are on
track. You know, three quartersof a million people in the first three
months of the fifth Queer. Threequarters of a million more than that have
crossed the border illegally have been processedand allowed to be in the country.
What does that say about We gotthree more quarters to go, man,
(43:49):
multiply seven fifty k times four? Are you kidding me? If we keep
up this pace? And there's noreason to believe it's not gonna keep going
this way because in twenty twenty four, you know, the ones who are
really paying attention to this because itbenefits them, the cartels, benefits the
visits and folks in the Americas andin China and the Middle East, in
(44:12):
Africa, anyone wishing hoping for achance to cross the border, legal or
illegal, just for a chance tostep un blessed so because they know that
once they make it here, they'renot going to be sent back. That's
what they believe. Man. Weare on track to go north to three
million people. And that's just theones process by border patrol. Do the
math on this. That's that's justnuts and seven fifty times two one point
(44:38):
five times two three million, andthose are the ones that be processed by
portrol. I think those numbers aregoing to continue to go north because people
know there's an election in twenty twentyfour, they might see some of these
little reports. Even if they're watchingand listening on the periphery, listening to
the quasi communists, the nutcases overat MSNBC, all these crazy leftist communist
(45:00):
apologists at NBC, MSNBC and someof these dinosaur media types. You're in
the clueless news network. Every nowand then, a little bit of news,
a little bit of factual information willmake it on there. They'll realize,
hmmm, seems like the American votersare not too happy about what's going
on in their country. I don'tknow. Maybe it's true. Look at
(45:20):
that pooling data on Donald Trump.Maybe it's true. Well, we better
get our butts across the US Mexicanborder, across the US Canadian border as
quickly as possible. Yeah, doyou know that you will pretty soon?
I got a conversation with Parts delQueta from the Border Patrol Union coming up
in just a little bit of theother coming at US as quickly as possible.
Because they know it's open season, open door. They're gonna take advantage
(45:43):
that in twenty twenty four like neverbefore. That's why I'm expecting record numbers
quarter after quarter so on between nowand I hope and pray. Oh Lord
Jesus, please hear our prayer,Please bring back save our country. Lord,
forgive us, please forget it.Say we're a country, and bring
back Donald Trump. And it isnot Donald Trump, somebody who thinks like
(46:05):
him. America is to protect ourcountry, protect the borders, protect the
economent, protect trade, and soon and so forth, manufacturing everything else.
We need to think about our country. The obligations that we have to
the folks who protect their country areveterans. First off, finally, can
we finally take care of that obligation. Can we please make sure we don't
have any any homeless veterans before westart providing nice hotel rooms or tent camps
(46:30):
or cell phones and medical services toillegal immigrants that are working the system right
now under this incompetent malicious, i'dsay, malicious administration of Joe Biden and
all is incompetent boobs that work forhim. Oh my goodness, it's just
(46:53):
beyond infuriating people in the people awayfrom the border, fellow Americans, Midwest,
Northeast, everywhere, everywhere. They'rehaving to go online to get the
facts. They're having to go onlineto get the information because it's now affecting
their neighborhoods. It's cut one,Steve, one of the most terms of
(47:15):
the year, cut one, anda number of different polls I've looked at
immigration and border security is running acloser second place to the economy as we
head into twenty twenty four. Andyou might be thinking, though, Okay,
this is just Republican voters who arefeeling this way. But I want
you to take a look here becauseI think this is rather interesting. The
most Google searches for migrants by state. Look at all these states, Phil,
(47:37):
They're all blue states. Illinois isone, New York is two,
Massachusetts three, New Jersey is four, Colorado is five. Yeah, he
just named all deep blue areas.Phil. They're not getting Americans, our
neighbors, our friends, our fellowpatriots, and the interior. They're not
getting the information that they need toknow on a regular basis. Top of
(48:00):
the hour, bottom of the hour, news, front page type of stuff.
If you if you still purchase it, if they're still if they still
exist, the paper newspapers, thisis top of the hour, top of
mind information we need to know andAmericans are slowly getting that information. They're
going they're going to search engines tofind more on illegal immigration because they're not
getting enough, they're not getting thetruth from the news. Now I can
(48:22):
again I congratulate you as a talkradio listeners, a news radio listener listening
to the Dana Show. Dana givesit to you straight, gives you facts
all the time, along with otherfriends in this industry. The talk shows
nationwide constantly talking about this. Butwe need more than this because when you
show up with all this information tofriends and co workers them, I think
(48:45):
you're a kook. It's on.Surely something this crazy, this disastrous,
deleterious to the country, that's theword for the day. Surely this can't
be happening under Joe Biden. Hewas supposed to bring back under and decency
and civility to the White House. The dudas has been from day one,
(49:07):
has put everything in motion to destroythis country. And it all started at
the open border and they're starting tofeel it now. Every now and the
you have to go digging for theseheadlines. Up in Chicago, people coming
together for community meetings with some oftheir city council people saying, hey,
why are you opening up a refugeor this building you're opening it up or
(49:27):
converting it into an area for theserefugees or these all these men by a
thousand men, these migrants to setup camp in our neighborhood, just down
the street from our churches and schools. They're pushing back, They're pushing back
mightily. They're getting these meetings areangry, raucous, super loud. And
some of these fellow Americans, Blacks, Democrats who voughted all these stupid politicians
(49:54):
into their cities and state houses thatdeclare it sanctuary city, sanctuary stif and
deep blue Democrats states. He justmentioned all of them just a moment back,
was talking to phil Colorado and Illinoisand Massachusetts and New York. They're
pushing back down and sayd hey,our community resources, the few taxes that
(50:15):
we paid, you know in theinner city, and the block grants,
so we got the money. Theygot a city hall. He's going to
all these illegals. Now, Steve'sgonna play an audio cut for you.
Now, I'll tell you who itis. Now you tell me is this
a Democrat or is this a Republican? Go ahead, Steve that these immigrants
(50:37):
have come over here, they've beenraping people, they've been breaking into homes.
There weren't savages as well. Theydon't speak the language, and they
look at us like we were crazy. Huh, played against Steve, play
again. I love it, Butagain, immigrants have come over here,
they've been raping people, they've beenbreaking into homes. There weren't savages as
(50:59):
well. They don't speak the language, and they look at us like we
were crazy. Well, you know, if it wasn't so high pitched,
you probably would tell me, oh, that's Donald Trump. There's Donald Trump.
Racist. They're rapists, they're savages, they don't speak the language,
ladies and gentlemen. That's the IllinoisNAACP President Teresa Haley. They're feeling the
(51:25):
pinch, the budget pinch, thecommunity pinch. They're feeling it now.
So my question, as I wassaying yesterday on the show, my question
to you Chicago, New York,Philly, Boston, LA, all you
folks in top cities, big cities, Democrat run cities in America, you're
going to continue voting stupidly AKA Democrat. I'm Sergio Sanchez. It's an honor
(51:53):
for me. To be with youtoday. You stick around, got more
information to get in that conversation withArt deel quetto from the Border Patroll Union.
Just around the corner. You're listeningto the Dana Show and now all
of the news you would probably miss. It's time for Dana's Quick five.
The company that makes the well knownhandgun announce on their website that Gastone Glock
(52:16):
has passed away age ninety four. The inventor of the glock invented it back
in the eighties. Very popular withcops lightweights and carried lots of rounds to
seventeen rounds, they said. TommySmothers of the legendary Smothers Brothers comedy music
duel has passed away. His familyand folks at the National Comedy Center announced
(52:37):
that he passed away Tuesday at ageeighty six. Had been battling cancer.
Mark Cuban. He will retain controlof operations for the Dallas Mavericks. The
NBA has approved Mark Cuban's sale ofa majority stake of the Dallas Mavericks.
Cuban selling the stake to a casinoowner thirty fifth richest person in the world,
(52:58):
Miriam Adelson. These people know thesefolks are gambling and maybe taxes will
someday approve casino gambling. But anywaythat the sale has been approved, thanks
the the deal. Expect to befinalized in the coming days. From South
Texas. You're listening to the DanaShow. I'm Sergio Sanchez. It's an
honor to be with you. Isay hi online at Sergio talk on Twitter
(53:20):
on x stick around conversation with anotherleader at Border Patrol Union, telling you
how it is on the border rightnow. This is the Dana Show.
Elevate your commute, workouts or downtimewith the Dana Show podcast. Unleash the
power of knowledge at your fingertips byfollowing Dana on Apple, Spotify or wherever
you get your podcasts Our City. Here in Egle Pass, we've been getting
(53:44):
slammed with two to three thousand peoplea day and it's just an unfair,
unethical situation. What's going on herein Eagle Pass. We feel ignored by
the federal government. Mm hmm. That's Rolando Selenaz, the mayor of Eagle
Pass, far West Texas. Outthere on the border del Rio Eagle Pass.
(54:05):
Very small communities on the board theycan slam mercifully for them. Yes,
I know thirty thousand, forty fiftythousand people in these border communities and
their resources are stretched thin. Butmercifully these folks that cross at Eagle Pass,
the cartels in Mexico, they crosssaid Del Real, Ego Pass.
They're not staying there. Even inEl Paso. Another Democrat mayor El Passo.
(54:29):
Everybody criticizing all these Democrats, thesecrazy lefties, open border mindset.
They criticized Governor Greg Abbott for thecharter buses. You know what, a
charter bus system from the city approvedcharter bus system that I recall. I
remember, it's all about Eagle Pass, City Hall, Eagle Pass, the
mayor and El Paso they approved acharter bus system to get all these illegal
(54:50):
immigrants out of their town and whereverthey wanted to go out of El Paso
as quickly as possible, to besent up to places like Chicago. Where
As you heard in the last segmentthe NAACP president of in Illinois all the
racist remarks. Yeah they were ifif this set by a Republican, well
that person would be tarred and feathered, kicked out of town one day.
(55:13):
Oh no. But it's the achievefor the NAACP up and down them all.
I sang all these racist things likesavages, rapists and all those things,
and just you know, talking aboutyou just joined the show. Yeah,
do the rewind. Listen over thepast ten minutes and you'll you'll catch
that. I'm Sergio Sanchez. You'relistening to the Dana Show or trying to
close out twenty twenty three and havea conversation I want to share with you
(55:35):
here in just a second, speakingon immigration issues, and it's immigration basic
Art del quetto the Border show, union guy, one of the top leaders.
That conversation's coming in because it's notonly the southern border, but it's
also you know, the piney Woodsup and you know, separating the US
and Canada. Man, there issomeone say there's no border, like Art
told me, there is no border. You got a flow of humanity crossing
(56:00):
into the United States. You're aborder in a wall in a reverie nothing
people just crossing. But on thenorthern end from Canada. They're coming down
from Canada. Finey Woods. Justby the hundreds, the numbers going off
the chart for bord control. Youknow what I found just amazing. Most
recent poll on Joe Biden, thirtytwo percent of Americans are confident in Joe
(56:25):
Biden's border abilities, border policy, and his abilities to manage the border.
Almost the third of Americans really witha mess that we have right now.
As far as sampling, this hasto be all Democrats. That's pretty much
the weight of Democrats in this poll. You can't look at us unless you
(56:47):
hate America, unless you want thedestruction of our nation, unless you want
folks all over the place, lowskilled labor, just drowning the labor market,
crime, public housing, bursting atthe seams. Because that's going to
be the initial reality. It isright now in Chicago, it is right
now in DC, in New Yorkdealing with this right now, compliments of
(57:10):
Texas and the charter buses from ElPaso City Hall, from Governor Greg hab
in other places. Thirty two Really, who are these people? Obviously Democrats
are just yourtotal questions. I'm SergioSianchez. You're listening to the Dana Show
from her affiliate k you R andV. The Real Grand Valley of Texas.
(57:30):
An honor to be with it,you want to say high online,
It's at Sergio talk on Twitter tellingyou how it is on the border,
the real story. Thank god forthe Border Patrol Union. Go ahead,
Steve Art, that quento is withthe National Border Patrol Union. Art.
What market do you work? Youand colleagues? Where are you right now?
Brother? So obviously, because I'mthe national vice president of the union,
(57:52):
I pretty much am in contact withevery single part of the border,
the northern border too, which obviouslyyou know is a huge part that doesn't
get enough media place sometimes but they'rethey're just they're pretty swamp compared to what
they usually are. So I'm allover the place to be honest. Okay,
but you're originally from Arizona, WestTexas. I don't recall work last
(58:16):
time you and I sepos. Yeah, No, I'm originally from I'm originally
from Arizona. I've been down here. I grew up on the border.
So it's funny because you know, you get people that joined the job,
you get politicians, you get allkinds of people that all of a sudden
are on that wagon of talking aboutborder. That's great, but I can
tell you, look, I grewup on the border. I was born
(58:36):
on the border. I've raised onthe border. I've worked on the border.
I mean, I've been here mywhole life. What do you make
of the mess we have in Arizonaand the remote areas of West Texas.
I'll call them the most vulnerable areasbecause the resources there and some of those
places are very, very thin. And we got a human tsunami that's crossing
the border right now. It isLook, it's very chaotic, and people
(58:57):
ask me, how's the border? How's the border? And I asked him
back, I said, what borderare you talking about? Because it seems
like there has not been a borderat all under this current administration. And
a lot of the issues, obviously, is what you're stating. There's remote
areas with limited resources, and thoseareas do not get as much media attention
as others because of the remoteness. So it is difficult sometimes for reporters.
(59:19):
And I've talked to them and theysay, look, we could report on
it, but where do we stay? Where do we go? And a
lot of these times, you know, the closest hotel or city that they
can stay in is several hours away. So it's a trek. And I
can tell you just from what's happeningin Arizona right now. We've seen on
the news areas like Lukeville, Arizonathat was just getting hit tremendously by you
(59:42):
know groups in the thousands. Thoseareas never get media coverage and the closest
place to stay is several hours away, so it was more difficult. You've
seen, you know what's happening inTexas. Fortunately, there's a governor out
there that continues to bring everything tolight. They have a lot of assistance
from other law enforcement in the area, you know, the police officers in
(01:00:04):
the city, the state, everythingyou can think of. But you're right,
there's remote areas where there's not enoughresources and not enough people know about
it. And I'll just use thisas an example where it gets scary and
dangerous at the same time. You'reseeing all the individuals that are coming across
in areas of Texas. You know, you got people from Venezuela, you
know, Colombia, Cuba, allover the place in Latin America. When
(01:00:28):
you travel towards Arizona, in theremote areas that you're not seeing out in
the media, that's where you're seeingindividuals from the Islamic Republic. That's where
you're seeing people from different parts ofAfrica. These individuals is where you have
the military age men from countries thatdon't speak English, don't speak Spanish,
and they come across and that evenmakes it another obstacle for agents to be
(01:00:50):
able to process those individuals because ofthe language barrier. Well, you got
big cities making a lot of noise, as you mentioned Governor Greg Gavin,
and I say thank God for Governor. Have it this improvised program that's about
a year and a half old nowbusting people to the interior because they want
to go. You want to go, here's a free ride, air conditioned
comfort ride. And now planes arebeing used as well. But I find
(01:01:13):
so just beyond frustrating. Mayors inNew York, Chicago, DC, other
places that are getting easy to goimmigrants. They're not pointing a finger blame
to the White House. They stillsupport Joe Biden, the one who created
this mess on this first day bystopping all the deportations and pretty much smoke
signaling to the world, yeah,we're open coming in across the border and
(01:01:36):
request your little asylum thing. Getin line with the other millions upon millions
of people that are to come.Stand in line. On the asylum program.
You're exactly right, you know. And instead of pointing and even asking
when they do point, instead ofsaying, look, we have a problem
when you do enforce our nations laws. Need to stop this from happening,
get rid of that magnet that hascreated this mess. They don't ask for
(01:01:57):
that. They ask for more moneyand resources so they can continue to assist.
You know, this mass groups ofindividuals that are coming into the United
States. What needs to be doneis that they need to be called out.
They need to be told, youneed immigration judges and asylum officers on
the line, and you need tofast track the people that are coming through
(01:02:19):
and if hey, if there isa legitimate reason by all means. But
as Henry quayarg said he and arequote him, he said, look,
seven percent are legitimate asylum claims.Yes, that's you know, a big
eye opener. When you're seeing millionsand millions that have come across. Where
are they? That's another point ifyou remember the Obama administration was when everyone
(01:02:43):
was talking about the many individuals thatwere coming across. You had accompanied juveniles.
Well, all those juveniles are adultsnow, and where are they?
No one can tell you where they'reat. And unfortunately, I think we're
going to have the same problem withall these individuals that are coming into the
art queto is what the National BorderPatrol Union begs the question, all right,
(01:03:06):
as far as people who actually couldqualify for protection in this country get
some assund because I was mentioning inthe program, folks in African Nigeria,
for example, where thousands fun thousandsof Christians have been slaughtered through the years.
Let's say some people escape the ifyou're going back as they will be
slaughtered due to religious persecution by Muslims. Let's say the Wigers, some of
(01:03:29):
them escape the slave camps in China, they go back, They're gonna get
slaughtered. And these people who couldqualify for political or religious persecution, they're
lost in the system. Unfortunately, you're right, they get lost in the
system. And even the individuals thathave been doing things legally, individuals that
are waiting in line that say theirresident alien card is about to expire.
(01:03:51):
Individuals that are waiting in line becauseyou're doing the right thing to get border
cross and crutch, all those peopleare affected. Remember during the COVID they
closed the ports of entries, sothe ports of entries were closed during the
COVID era, and during that time, individuals that possessed legal documents, legal
(01:04:13):
documents to come across the our nation'sborder. Individuals that would sometimes come you
know on the border cities, theycome across, they do shopping, they
go back, whatever it may be, said things that actually helped the economy
even right during that time, ourborders were closed. But you know who
was allowed to still come in claimasylum and get released and they were crossing
(01:04:38):
the border illegally. So once againthis administration, what did they do.
They they they hurt individuals that werefollowing the law the law, and they
rewarded individuals that were breaking the law. And I will tell you those individuals
that were crossing at that point illegallyasking for asylum and getting released in the
United States were not get checked forany type of vaccination put upside COVID.
(01:05:04):
They weren't getting checked for tuberculosis. They were getting checked for you know,
any type of communicable disease. Andthat's one of the requirements that is done
with individuals that come into the countryand they go through the legal process.
So again, this administration has beena lawless administration rewarding nothing but lawlessness.
(01:05:25):
Yeah, Art don Quoto is withthe National Border Patrol Union. What do
you see at the northern border that'snot in the news. So the northern
border is getting hit just as bad. You know, I talked to some
of the individuals up there. Imean, granted, their numbers isn't what
they what you see in the southernborder. Ye, But when you're looking
at percentages wise, there's areas upthere in the northern border that are saying
(01:05:47):
that they're seeing an increase of threehundred percent to what they saw before.
That's a huge percentage wise with limitedamount because for the longest time, you
know, they'd had a limited amountof agents in those areas that are compared
to the southern border, and thatmakes even more areas that are porous.
Look, this is all strategically doneby the drug cartoons. The drug cartels
(01:06:11):
know what they're doing, they knowhow they're doing it. How many times
have we heard, hey, there'sa caravan of a you know, six
thousand or eight thousand and nine thousand, But you don't see one massive group
of six thousand that's gonna cross becausethe drug cartels. That's not convenient for
them. That's not operationally sound forthem to do it that way. So
what is it that the drug cartelsdo? They gather the group of eight
(01:06:35):
times, let's just talk about thecaraman coming up. You're gonna see they're
talking about are gonna grow by thetime it gets to the southern border.
You're gonna have the drug cartels sayI'm gonna send two thousand this way,
two thousand this way, another twothousand this way, and strategically cross them,
knowing it's a distraction for agents. So at the end they can cross
(01:06:56):
mes heroin and you know other danthe cocaine. You know, they're still
crossing cocaine again. So it's justthe cartels control everything, and they know
whether they're going to send it inthe northern border or the southern border.
They know what they're doing, andour administration is asleep at the wheel.
All right, be safe out there. You and the crew appreciates what you
(01:07:16):
do. And I'm so sorry thatunder this administration, border patrol is now
the welcome wagon for all these peoplethat are crossing the border illegally. And
I'm hoping for better things than Novemberand better things for it twenty twenty five.
We're gonna have to wait that long. Yeah, unfortunately, and thank
you for having men and you toucheda good point. You know that.
Unfortunately, that's what the agents looklike out there. But it's frustrating sometimes
(01:07:39):
because you do see some of thepeople in the public that say, well,
the agents should just refuse. Well, you know that that's not how
it works. You just can't refuseand refuse what to even vet because that's
chaotic as it is. And I'mgoing to tell you it's chaotic. It's
a mess, and I'm looking forthat small silver lining. And the small
silver lining is at least some peoplethey're getting fingerprinted and individuals that have hit
(01:08:02):
to be on the terrorist watch listare being prevented from entering. If the
agents just said I quit and notdo anything, all those individuals would be
in the country. Again, verygood point. Thank you, Art and
hoping for better things than twenty twentyfour for all the crew at Border Patrol.
ART with a National Border Patrol Union. Scary thought and scary thought.
(01:08:26):
I think that Border Patrol just wouldsay that said I'm out of here.
I'm I'm going to go get ahigh paying job in the oil patch,
or drive a truck or do somethingelse. Imagine like, how many hundreds
of individuals on the terror watch listshave been caught by border patrol flag caught
because we don't we have no ideahow many people go away. We just
know, I mean, the bestguesstimates from Bordatrol they, let's say,
(01:08:48):
you know, two million people thispast the previous fist were too minion people
that they processed portatrol. And yes, under Joe Biden allowing into the country
to get in line with everybody elseseeking asylum, ridiculous incompetent policy. So
the hundreds of individuals that have takeninto custody and which, by the way,
(01:09:09):
oh my goodness, I should haveasked them this, well, are
they by the way, the peoplethat made the terror watch list, they
did they get deported or did theyget arrested? And then on top of
that the others of the rapist, the people wanted for murder and assault,
you know, people with warrants, all these people taking on the custody and
the god always the best estimate fromborder patrol is, yeah, we suspect
that, you know, take thisnumber of what we caught multiplied by two,
(01:09:33):
and that's that's what we know gotinto the country illegally. And it
could be north of that because individualswith criminal workers, people on the on
the terror watch list, they willavoid border patrol at all costs. So
perhaps the numbers of criminals and potentialterrorists are well north of what they call
it. We just don't know. What we do know is it's it's open
(01:09:55):
season. It's it's a fire saleAmerica on fire and clearance. Just come
in here and get well. Thegetting's good. Onto Joe Biden. I'm

I'm ser Gio Sanchis inforum our dearfriend Dana Lash, Chris, Dana and
all the crew. Love you guys, big hig Happy twenty twenty four and
hang on to your hats. Peoplegot one more crazy year to go.
Hey, coming up next hour ofthe Dana Show. If you thought that
(01:10:44):
Lauren Bowbert I'm call about it wasin trouble getting in her re election bid.
No, she just needs to jumpa seat to continue running up and
give you information on that. AndVivid Ramaswami in the news, he's he
stopped traditional advertising. He does stopthat advertising for his presidential campaign. Just
stopped traditional advertising. And also theair scrubbers are sanitizers, easiest fixed to
(01:11:06):
protect from pathogens. Where are they? That's next hour the Dana Show.
Let's do some Florida Man Steve,it's his life mission to make bad decisions.
It's time for Florida Man. Along story short, This is a
happy Florida man story. Lakeland policeofficer Daggan Leech stage a lost wallet scenario,
(01:11:31):
got hired by young men wanted topropose to his girlfriend. While that
officer took the young man in asquad car to a lakeside and pretended that
he called the young ladies said hey, I found your boyfriend's wallet. Long
story short, he popped out ofthe car. He took her at lakeside.
She said, yes, that's abeautiful story from South Texas. You're
(01:11:53):
listening to the Dana Show. Personally, this announcement is a fresh start following
a pretty difficult year for me andmy family. I had never been in
politics before, and I'd never beenthrough a divorce, something I never intended
to go through. I've made myown personal mistakes and have owned up and
(01:12:13):
apologized for them. It's tested myfaith, my strength, and my abilities
both as a mom and a congresswoman. It's been humbling and challenging, but
it's also given me perspective and helpedme grow. I cannot put into words
how grateful I am for everyone whohas steadfastly stood alongside of me in the
third District and across America. That'sthe voice of Congresswoman Lauren Boulbert from Publo,
(01:12:40):
Colorado Republican. And of course we'vebeen paying attention to the news,
you know, some of the personalfailings, and she was referring to which,
by the way, for most Democratsthat would be like a resume enhands.
But because you know, more airquotes nown probablydditional voters on the Republican
(01:13:00):
side her in her district where shewould have like a narrow victory against any
Democrat, you know, because afterall this Pueblow and some other more lefty
places in Colorado. How's she goingback to Congress in twenty twenty five after
the twenty four election. Well, she has jumped ship. She has.
(01:13:21):
She announced that she is departing fromColorado District three to Colorado District four.
That's how she's going to stay aRepublican in Congress. She hopes to stay
as a Republican in Congress. I'mSergio Scianchez. You're listening to the Dana
Show, our three of the program. Happy new Year to you, and
we're trying to close out twenty twentythree as quickly as possible, trying to
(01:13:43):
wrap things up. Thank you Danafor the call. You want to say
high on nine. It's at Sergiotalk on X say high on there.
Yeah. So Lauren Bolbert jumping fromColorado three to Colorado four, and Colorado
three has the western slope, asI mentioned, pueblow as well come a
few several lefties in there. Willprobably give that seat to the Democrats if
(01:14:04):
the Republicans turnout is weak. Andconsidering the scandalous headlines related to her night
out to see and I forget whatthe play was, and anyway, she
wasn't paying attention to the plays. There was some of the frisky stuff taking
place. We'll leave it there.I go look it up. I suspect
(01:14:24):
some more traditional voters, traditional valuevoters, they might stay home. But
in district for Colorado, that's whereken Buck will say used to be.
That seat needs to be filled.Because ken Buck is leaving that seat open
more conservative. I had a conversationwith him sometime back. So that seat
(01:14:47):
might be a bit safer for longBoward if she can convince the Republican base
there that's slightly larger to keep hergoing to Congress. And I know some
of y'all working for a living,and I don't blame you, say,
well heard, she can't do thatunless she has a house in District four.
No, she doesn't need one.One of the few things the tidbits
(01:15:09):
of information I learned as I volunteeredas Republican chairman down here back twenty fourteen
to twenty eighteen. To be acongress person, let's see three things.
You need to be things twenty fiveand older. And you need to be
a citizen obviously, or a naturalizedcitizen at that. You know that it's
(01:15:32):
like you need to be a naturallycitizen for at least like a half dozen
years or something like that. Soa citizen twenty five years old, minimum
twenty five years old, and sinceyou're pretty much a representative of the state
that you're from, you don't needto live in any specific district. I
know it could be used, andI don't know. Let me think here,
(01:15:57):
see the filing deadline came and wentalready, she announced that she's jumping
over to three as the congress personfor I'm sorry she jumped from three to
four. She is now the congressperson for four. Right, is because
Buck's not there anymore. Right, and go look at this, because that's
the way she would be on theballot for four. Because the finding deal
came and went away. They gota primary coming up here pretty soon in
(01:16:20):
Colorado. Either way, you don'tneed to be a citizen a resident in
the district that you represent. That'sthat's that's the constitution. That's the way
things are in the Constitution. Iwant to say, Uh, send a
big hug to Chris lash I sawwhat your posted yesterday, brother from Reason
(01:16:44):
magazine, their Twitter page, theirX page. Reason had a little cute
little video on how Congress spent sevenpoint five billion dollars on vehicle chargers to
years ago. You want to guesshow many have been put in plaze the
charge vehicles, you probably tend tosay zero, right, one, one
(01:17:11):
seven and a half billion dollars orvehicle chargers only one as in place look
for their page Reason magazine. Andspeaking of wasting money, the Biden White
House spending a quarter billion dollars inmore military aid to Ukraine. So the
State Department announced yesterday two hundred andfifteen million dollars expected to be the last
(01:17:35):
aid package for Voldemir Zelenski and hiscrew until Congress can come back after the
Christmas New Year's break and start talkingabout maybe maybe more checks being sent to
Ukraine. Of course, all thistied to some of this immigration legislation,
immigration reforms that the Republicans want.I don't know, honestly, friend,
(01:17:59):
I don't know how any of thisis it's going to be resolved. The
chasm between Democrats and Republicans, itis far and wide beyond what the eye
political eye can seekuse. I don'tsee it. I don't see how this
gets results. I don't see whatis needed to resolve the illegal immigrant problem
that we have right now because JoeBiden is the problem. He's not enforcing
border law. He's got bordup trollas the welcome wagon for everybody coming into
(01:18:21):
the country, everybody coming in thecountry crossing illegally. Pretty much every single
person is now going to be standingin line for an asylum hearing. That's
just that's beyond nuts. So republicsome Republicans are before we talk about any
Ukraine money, before we talk aboutany Israeli money, an aid package for
them. We need to change immigrationpolicy in this country because the Republicans are
(01:18:45):
calling for more enforcement. The Democrats, they simply want billions of dollars more
for the welcome wagon to They wantmore paperwork, they want more blankets,
they want more plane tickets, buswhatever it is that they that they can
get. They want more aid forthe migrants that are cross from the border.
There's no push back, there's noenforcement, there's no effort to dissuade
(01:19:09):
anyone who is poor in this worldfrom joining that massive caravan. That is,
as they said, exiting or leavingpoverty behind. That's what they say
in their posters. These folks inthat huge caravan headed this way right now
from cross in Mexico. They justcrossed. There's Chiapas and southern Mexico headed
this way or no, how manythousand people the latest largest caravan we've ever
(01:19:30):
seen. They're leaving poverty behind. For the Democrats, they want more aid
for us to absorb all the folksthat are crossing the border legally and allowed
to stay in this country, asyou know, they claim asylum. Republicans
want to change the asylum requests sothat way not people who cross the border
and get an assylum recourse it's becausethey deserve it, or they're allowed to
(01:19:55):
not deserve it. That's the wrongword. They're under our laws, would
be a allowed to seek assilent becausethey're religious or their political refugees. One
wants enforcement, one wants more meals, blankets and a plane ticket for people.
And how do you resolve something likethat? So come the new year,
(01:20:16):
I think, just my opinion unlessunless Republican leadership they've been to knee,
they cave and oh we've never seenthat before, right, and allow
for more Ukrainian billions in Ukrainian aid, hundreds of millions in more Ukrainian aid
for some meager tacit a little bitof reforms to immigration policy that you know,
(01:20:45):
I can hear now immigration policy thatwill change in twenty twenty six or
something like that. Just kick thecan down the road. That's more than
likely what's going to happen. Justso these politicians can tell their base back
on, well, we did something. We passed these forms to immigration law,
and now are expecting Joe Biden toenforce it. He hasn't. Joe
Biden hasn't enforced present immigration law.Well, it makes you think he's going
(01:21:08):
to enforce any new laws that youput in place. That's the problem.
So I don't know. We willnot see a fix to this. That's
I'm sticking to that prediction. Therewill not be a fix of this.
I think the problem is going toget worse all of twenty twenty four.
The flood, the tsunami is goingto get even larger because folks are paying
(01:21:29):
attention to the news. The futureillegal immigrants and the cartels that are enriching
themselves to the tune of hundreds andone thousands of dollars per head across on
the border. Illegal they're the onesthat are they're air traffic control. The
cartels are air traffic control. They'rethrowing two thousand people here, two thousand
people over there, going further westto Phoenix, throwing two thousand over there.
(01:21:49):
They're the ones who are directing thistraffic coming into our country illegally and
gaming the asylum system. I don'tsee any fix of this whatsoever. Forgive
me for being a pessimist, butI mean that's reality. And as I
mentioned over and over, I'll neverget tired of this. And I hope
(01:22:10):
that other folks in talk radio havea national stage and national microphone gals.
You guys need to connect the dotsfor your listeners. You guys need to
connect the dots for the voters. We have we index and talk radio,
we index. In news radio,we index super high when it comes to
voter engagement and involvement. I knowthat in this audience, this conservative audience,
(01:22:33):
a news talk radio audience, youguys off the charts as far as
being involved in politics, running foroffice, voting, turning out to vote
on stop voting stupidly and tell yourfriends and family to do the same,
which means I'll connect the dot herefor you. Stop voting Democrat. In
twenty twenty fourth period, it hasa d next to it. Don't vote
(01:22:55):
for it, period, especially atthe very top Congress. Send it.
There's a glorious chance for American votersto truly upend the makeup of the Senate.
There's a lot of Democrats running foroffice. You see an R next
to it, just kind of likesome of y'all did voting for Donald Trump
(01:23:16):
back in twenty sixteen out a spite, just to poke the eyes of Washington,
d C. Just to kick themin the Gonads. Just vote for
the outsider. You got a Democratsenator incumbent, you got a Democrat representative,
so called representative, a representing you, a representing our country. Vote
(01:23:39):
for the opposition, Vote for theother guy, the other woman. Stop
voting stupidly, Stop sending these peopleback to Washington, d C. Let's
do it. I know we cando it, but we got to message
this all year long. You knowwhy, because Ronald McDonald, Ronald McDaniel,
I don't see any leadership whatsoever fromthe Republican Party, from the national
firm, all these chair and womenfrom all these fifty states, plus the
(01:24:02):
chairwoman actively championing a campaign like this, announcing this battle cry and pro preemptively
proactively advertising right now in the blackcommunity and the Latino community. And laser
focusing a major ad campaign owning themessage right now on inflation, on the
(01:24:27):
border, and the lack of lawenforcement. Concentrate on those three connect the
dots for American voters. Spend yourmoney word counts swing states. Just focus
on swing states and focus on thestates that aregatting their butts kick that are
deep blue as well. I'd focuson New York, I'd focus on Illinois,
I'd focus at Massachusetts, I'd focuson Yeah, focus a little bit
(01:24:48):
of that budget online and commie Fornia. Why not? Why not? And
think outside the box. You don'thave to buy an expensive TV schedule.
You'll probably be night the TV scheduledby some of these networks anyway. Thank
god for social media. Do thesocial media thing like Vivid Romik Swami.
I'm sure headline from him. He'snot doing TV ads anymore. He's going
(01:25:11):
for his younger base, a newgeneration, a voter that the old generation
uses social media, the new generationuses social media almost exclusively. That's where
Vivic's going. I'll share that herein just a little bit. I appreciate
just sticking around. This is theDana Show from what I refer to as
her Southern Command in the Rio GrandValley of Texas. I'm Sergio sentchiz you
want to say, you want tosay hi, and join us on Twitter,
(01:25:35):
and join us on x at SergioTalk at Sergio Talk. One of
the topics I want to share withthe conversation just a little bit. You
know, just think back to thewhole COVID thing that we had two three
years back. One of the easyfixes that would have prevented all of us
from shutting down society would have beenair scrubbers. I think about this all.
(01:26:00):
I'm blessed to have a regular conversationwith some of the health authority folks
here in deep South Texas. Airscrubbers. You know, they've been around
for the longest time. There's variationof these air scrubbers. Just clean the
air, zap the pathogens, theviruses, zap all the bacteria. You
can do that with some of theseblue light machines that we have some of
(01:26:23):
the air centers, they have themfor emergency, for emergency, for operating
rooms, operating rooms at the hospital. They need to have clean air in
places like that, right It's forschools, for stores, for public places
that are in closed. Just cleanup the air. Three years of moved
from COVID. Where are these airscrubbers? Anyway? I want to share
a conversation with you. Somebody onthe front line of business watching this,
(01:26:46):
I appreciate you taking around. I'mSergio Scientiz. You're listening to the Dana
Show from South Texas and now allof the news you would probably miss.
It's time for Dana's quick five medicalnotes. One of the most popular asthma
inhalers on the market no longer willno longer be available starting the new year,
(01:27:08):
drug company GSK saying it is discontinuingits flow vent in haaler. But
don't panic, they're replacing it withthe generic version. Generic version will work
exactly the same as the branded inhaler. Let's see from North Carolina AMC Theaters
apologizing after a disabled civil rights leaderwent to go see a movie The Color
(01:27:32):
Purple, which is now like amusical right, Disney came out with I
think it's Disney for the for therewrite the redo of the Color Purple one.
I prefer the original one, bythe way. I just you know,
at a time when I like willBe Goldberg in Oprah a lot more.
I love those two in that movie, the original this was the new
one is more like a musical.Anyway, this is North Carolina disabled civil
(01:27:57):
rights leader, the sixty year oldBishop Barber went to an AMC theater to
take in this movie. And anyway, AMC apologize to him. He's in
a wheelchair, suffers from a formof arthritis that makes it almost impossible for
him to like without paying transfer fromone seat to the next, so they
(01:28:18):
didn't They couldn't allow him to seethe movie because they didn't have any disabled
seating for him. He needed totake it like a regular seat for the
disabled. That's kind of the storyreminded me of when Mom was around.
I'd take her to the movies everynow and then. It was the cinemak
people that they allowed like a littlespace in between seats at the front.
But maybe this was like an olderAMC property. Maybe that was the problem.
(01:28:42):
And new Harvid research finding that lowcarb diets might actually make a gain
a few pounds. I want totake a look at that big study.
One hundred and twenty thousand people fromSouth Texas. You're listening to the Dana
Show, Happy New Year, Tiredof the same old predictor commentary. Spice
up your day with a Danas Showpodcast where dynamic discussions, compelling guests,
(01:29:05):
and Dana's unique perspective of wait, download on Apple or wherever you get your
podcasts. I love where we're sittingright now, Pete, where the mainstream
media has got our expectations low, hanging me in fourth place. I think
if you take where the mainstream mediais polling narrative is of having me just
in the high single digits in Iowa, we're going to shatter that. He's
(01:29:27):
quick on his feet. I'll giveyou that much. And Vivid Ramaswami has
taken the most pertinent salient issues onthe campaign trail and it's taking the time
to think things through. What ishow is he going to respond? Obviously,
I mean you can you can tellhow prepared he is. He's got
it loaded, ready to fire. When somebody answered, somebody asked a question,
(01:29:53):
i'mlike surprising, Like Nikki Haley, like she's all in the news today
because somebody asked her some plants andDemocrat left this crazy plan, asking hey,
what was the reason Nikki Haley? What was the reason for the Civil
War. Just put it flat outthere, like, what a completely irrelevant
question, but in her chance tothrow it back at him, to call
(01:30:15):
him out as a plant and pointto the question as completely being irrelevant to
the realities of the American people today. How much money are spending on food
and energy and everything else? Dothat and point a finger at the modern
day slavery that we have under JoeBiden. Yeah, all these illegals entering
(01:30:36):
the country working for a way belowminimum wage, all these sex slaves promoted
by just completely open, uncontrolled migrationto this country. The cartail's making money
with sex slaves in this country.Point to that. She didn't do any
there, she bitter tongues, dingding. That's how long she took the
(01:31:03):
answer. I could, I couldsing a whole lot more. That's how
long her pregnant pause was thinking aboutthis instead of flat out saying yeah,
almost two generations. Yeah, itwas slavery, big pushing issue, the
whole issue that pushed the major divisionin this country and the whole states.
(01:31:24):
Rights in Southern States and Mother Stateswanted to keep slavery. Others wanted the
abolition of it. Yeah, thedriver slavery, which, by the way,
I welcome our Democrat plans, which, by the way, thank you
to the guy you voted for,Joe Biden, for creating a modern day
slavery. Just like that, Justlike that. Think about it, woman,
you're running for president. Vivid crimeAswami, he thinks things through,
(01:31:46):
he knows what the major issues are, and I love some of his quotes.
I can't tell you I love himas a candidate, but I love
the fact that he's there and he'scontributing to the conversation and maybe a place
under a oh Lord Jesus, pleaselisten to our prayer, maybe a future
Donald Trump administration. I wouldn't wanthim as vice president, but I would
(01:32:10):
want him to sit there at thetable with Donald Trump and say, mister
President x y Z, I thoughtthings through, think about it, sir,
and then go out there is Idon't know, maybe some assistance,
somebody providing advice, some advisor,I don't know. Maybe I don't know,
campetary, I don't know. JustI just want to be there to
(01:32:30):
contribute because he's I think he's contributedto the discourse. I think despite his
political history or non history or Democratleaning history. He's contributing mightily and making
some salient points, especially when it'stargeted at the Republican leadership right now,
the incompetent national leadership of the RepublicanParty. They should be thinking out the
box and be proactive and go onoffense right now. In advertising and speaking
(01:32:55):
of advertising, Vivic Ramas Swami saying, ah, so much for the the
traditional form of advertising and politics. You know, in twenty twenty four,
I have friends in media who areon the business side of the office,
whether it be my business side overhere because we got a clusterous stations here
and sing oh, by the way, I don't think I introduced myself.
I'm Sergio Sanchez. You're listening tothe Dana Show. Thank you Dana for
(01:33:17):
the call, Love you, friendyou and Chris and all the crew.
Happy New Year. Reporting to fromSouthern Command in South Texas RGV. This
is the Dana Show. I gotlots of friends in media, just likeular
Chops. There's that meme with thatdue that black dude with that yellow jacket
(01:33:38):
right the gold chain and he's likehe's like rubbing his hands and you can
see his tongues like licking a shotand he just he sees on the horizon
something that he wants. Well,in the business side of advertising, they
know there's gonna be billions and billionsof dollars and advertising. People running for
Congress, people running for state offices, people running in some states. The
(01:34:00):
Senate races are up for grabs, the presidential and you know, the sexy
race that everybody pays attention to.All these working people pay attention to the
presidential race, and then the coldtails. There's lots of money to be
made in advertising in twenty twenty four. But comes here come the kids,
the new kids in the media, which is the social media. Everything from
YouTube videos. Everybody going online towatch some funny videos or something they like.
(01:34:21):
And there's that intrusive five second fifteensecond video on YouTube. Sometimes they're
merciful enough to allow you to skipit within five seconds, but if you
can, if you can say whatyou need to say to that potential voter
in five seconds, and those onlinevideos, I think that's the now money,
the future money, the smart money. It's frequency. How many hits?
(01:34:44):
How many times can you repeat afrequency? Frequency? That's that's the
name of the game in advertising. And I would dog I have to do
some advertising for my stage in mycluster here in deep South Texas. Favid
Gramaswami is not going to spend hismoney on expensive local tea. He's not
going to spend his money his adbudget on expensive network TV. He's going
(01:35:09):
social media. Good for him.Good for him. I'd say use high
frequency targeted radio stations where you getthe traditional base out for you with your
salient points, very well prepared, effective communicated effectively in some of these Salian
puts that you're making about the Republicanestablishment, the Republican Party, the leadership,
(01:35:30):
lack of leadership, the attacks onDonald Trump, all those things make
a thirty second snippet boom, fiftyand second stimmit boom on radio, for
example, online on social media.Get those messages out there and little snippets.
That's smart money because you can getwhoof what would be thirty times more,
maybe fifteen times moreth the repetition, the frequency, the number of hits
(01:35:51):
to eyeballs and ears on radio andon social media. Vivid Ramaswami recently had
spent more than two hundred thousand dollars. Let's see as recently as the first
full week of December, Vivid Ramaswamihad spent one of two hundred thousand dollars
on TV ADS expensive network and probablysome local TV as I'm guessing, but
(01:36:15):
a TV is expensive. The traditionalroute. Spent six thousand bucks on ADS
TV just last week. So he'sgoing to go through the new media.
And we have a generation that we'rebringing up right down that doesn't recognize television,
doesn't recognize traditional television. I havesome dear friends in standard television industry,
local TV industry, and I feelfor them because you know, they're
(01:36:38):
dancing, they're doing the dance ortrying to improvise. They're trying to do
online whatever they can, which allthis competition, I do hope and pray
will breathe the innovation, making newproducts, new ways of communicating for traditional
TV. But those companies, theyneed to take the life about the social
media, just like we've had forfifteen twenty years now, all of us,
whether it's print media that a lotof them got killed. No more
(01:37:00):
print, no more killing trees. If they exist today, they exist because
they're online. Same thing for TV. They're gonna have to find a way
to fix this. They're gonna haveto find a way to dispense their product
at a cheaper rate with a higherfrequency. Vivic is talking to a new
generation the potential voter. They justneed to turn out. And that's the
thing about younger voters. Usually theydon't turn out. But good for him.
I'm glad he's in there and he'sproviding a lesson. He is schooling
(01:37:25):
the party and what they need todo right now. Buy social media,
high frequency social media, high frequencyradio. Do it in swing states.
Just focus on that going off. It's black community, Hispanic community, all
the potential voters. You know whatto do, and obviously you're not doing
it. And I'm talking to theNational Party again. Let's see. He
(01:37:49):
got sixteen minutes to the hour.Thank you so much for joining us on
the Dana Show. I'm Sergio Scientisreporting to you from South Texas. You
want to say hi online, dothe X thing, Twitter thing at Sergio
Talk. Let me share with yousomething related to our health. So during
COVID, we all learned that airscrubbers did an amazing job. Some of
(01:38:12):
these blue light things and also someof the other technology that has been around
for the longest time in operating roomsat hospitals, somebody getting cut open.
Well, obviously you need the airneeds to be cleaned, killing pathogens,
cleaning killing viruses and pathogens, ZAPPand all that stuff. That was the
easy fix, the quickest, easy, easiest fix to push back against COVID,
(01:38:38):
keep everything open. We didn't doit. I hope we learned a
lesson, but I don't think wehave because none of this is being promoted
today and it needs to be.Here's my conversation with an expert in the
industry. It's upper respiratory infection season, and you've heard, of course the
news about RSV and then some peoplegetting COVID it again and again, and
(01:39:00):
the flu season and everybody spreading germsand viruses. So let's talk about indoor
air systems, sanitizing systems, purificationsystems. Those things became very popular at
some schools and some airports other places, you know, like the stuff they
have at hospitals to try to purifythe ear that's back in the news.
Matt Moberg is the director of Consultingfor the ISA, a trade association for
(01:39:25):
the cleaning industry worldwide. Matt, indoor air systems are they being installed in
schools? In businesses today and shoppingcenters as we're back in COVID, because
I think that was the easy fixfor COVID. Some of these systems had
blue lights in them, air purificationsat filters, and they were able to
nullify viruses and germs. Yeah.Absolutely, So these are definitely becoming more
(01:39:49):
popular some of the things you hadjust mentioned. You said the blue light.
Typically that'll be something like a UVlight. There's also carbon filters and
those are us to really purify theair and you know, disinfect any airborne
pathogens in there. And it's beginning. The uptake of it in you know,
non medical, non educational buildings isdefinitely continuing. COVID was a large
(01:40:13):
driver of that as well. Totell somebody, hey, if you go
into that movie theater or you gointo that college classroom, the air that
you breathe will be let's say hospitalquality. It's purified to hospital standards like
emergency room or i'm sorry, operatingroom standards at hospital where it definitely needs
to be. We have the technologyand we put it into areas of common
(01:40:38):
exposure and common use. I thinkthat would give people peace of mind set
aside all fears any temptation to shutdown society if we have another outbreak of
something. Oh. Absolutely, itdefinitely gives you that reassurance that at least
the air itself has the best chancesto be, you know, pulsier than
it would be with no filtration orper the issa. Can you tell me
(01:41:01):
what that is, whether you're theconsultant for that. Yeah, absolutely so.
I SSA was founded in the earlynineteen twenties. We actually celebrated our
one hundredth year this year, andit was established as the International Sanitary Supply
Association. So we represent our membersour everything from building contractors that go into
(01:41:24):
clean to in house service providers sojanitors at schools or environmental service workers at
hospitals, and then we also representmanufacturers as well as distribution in the industry.
Can you give me best guess,Matt, how many businesses in this
country, especially the ones who caterprovide services. It could be restaurants,
(01:41:47):
it could be education facilities, medicalfacilities, or just shopping centers. How
many would you say, Matt, are using air filtration systems purification systems across
the country percentage wise? Just takea guess. Oh, that's a really,
that's a really, that's a toughquestion. I would say I can
easily make the assumption that the uptakein K through twelve and higher education,
(01:42:11):
as well as obviously healthcare, thoseare going to be your higher percentage groups
as far as uptake and installation andreconfiguring up systems. Okay, so limited
to those education in medical fifty percent, twenty five percent, seventy five percent.
What would be your best guests allthis of course spread by COVID.
Yeah, absolutely, So a greatexample would be a school district. I'd
(01:42:34):
say the majority of the new buildingsbeing put up, Okay, I'd say
it's got to be upwards as well, over seventy five percentage percent have some
form of you know, a lotof these new HVA systems, it's becoming
much more standardizedale. But you'll seewith a lot of school districts that they
will have buildings that are one hundredyears old and they will have buildings that
(01:42:56):
just opened last week. So therange within a school district can be there
fast as well. As you know, many universities are putting new buildings as
well, so they see a bigrange in the age and lifespan of buildings.
Mett Melburg is with an association forthe cleaning industry worldwide. It's called
ISA. We're talking about indoor airsystems, filtration systems, purification system for
(01:43:16):
the air that you breathe everywhere.Could be the shopping mall, could be
your kid's school. If education,if education facilities and medical facilities have been
the priority to try to sanitize theair, and I hope airplanes too,
by the way, then this tellsme that everywhere else that we're going,
the big box store, the grocerystore, all those places, no,
that don't expect to have any airpurification filtration system there. Correct. But
(01:43:42):
what I think we're starting to seeis a lot more regulation requiring some of
these things, that are beginning tostart setting standards and expectations for all types
of facilities and how they handle indoorair quality. And it's an indoor air
quality, not just talking about thetypical pathogens like flu covid, RSV,
(01:44:03):
but also looking at the other qualityfactors, right, probromnoxide, some of
the things that typically mold put offyou know, they do have an effect
on indoor air quality as well. But looking at all those factors, you
know, realizing that it has amajor impact on the human body or quality.
I think it's a selling point,man, I don't know. I
think that would be a selling pointto say, look, you come over
(01:44:24):
to this grocery store, come onrid of this gas station. Hey,
hey, gang, we filter,we purify our air. We got your
bag. You're good to go.No need for masks, no need for
you know, get the prick vaccinewhatever. You're coming into a super clean
environment. Don't you think that wouldbe a top selling point for businesses.
Oh? Absolutely, and we seethat. You know. I think we
(01:44:46):
will eventually get to a point whereI live in New York State and every
restaurant has to post the health gradethat they have for the cleanliness of their
operation. You know, I thinkeventually we'll get to a point point where
something like that with indoor air qualityis posted, right, so you know,
we follow these protocols for indoor airquality standards. It's definitely making that
(01:45:08):
way towards that direction. Man.It's a pleasure, and thank you for
your time today. He's with HISSA, that's an association for the cleaning industry
at Moburg. Coming up next onthe Data show, Well just ahead of
the deadline to print ballots in thestate of Calorado. What looks like president
former President Donald Trump will be onthe ballot in the twenty twenty four Colorado
(01:45:31):
primary that's coming up in March.Yeah, the deadline was just around the
corner for printing these things. I'mSergio Sentsiz. You're listening to the Data

and ahead of the curve by followingDana on Apple, Spotify or wherever you

(01:45:55):
Sergio Sanchez and for a dear friend, Dana Lash, Happy new year,
happier twenty twenty four for all You'regonna start adjusting your budgets, get used
to all the hyperinflation we suffered overthe past two three years, and get
ready to affect a change. Bepart of the change. In twenty twenty
four. The primaries are right aroundthe corner. And I went digging for
more information on Colorado three than Coloradothree and four. Colorado three is Lauren
(01:46:21):
Bolbert, and if I remember correctly, she eked out a victory. It
was like five hundred something, fivehundred and six hundred votes. That's what
she went back up to DC.So in the news today it was Bobert
today, and yesterday was Bobert runningas congressperson for District four Colorado, which
(01:46:42):
is like solid Republican, like plustwenty Semidt almost plus thirty Republican against the
Democrat. And I found an articletowards the end of November which means that
she filed before the deadline four Congressfour in Colorado. Just f why I
did a follow up to that.I think that's how she made it in
(01:47:04):
it's going to make it on theballot in Colorado. Well, thank you
so much for joining us on theDana Show. You want to say hi
