(00:00):
Getting all of the fact checks onthat. If you're saying that, you
know, the White House, thePresident doesn't want to, you know,
insult the American people. Will theAdministration then amend its separate statement that imply
that Texas officials were responsible for thedeaths of three migrants, when in fact

(00:22):
they had nothing to do with it. They had already been dead for an
hour by the time Mexico told anyonein the US about it, and the
Administration admitted as much in their courtfiling. They acknowledged that in their court
filing, but the statement from theWhite House implies that Texas was responsible,
and a number of outlets were forcedto issue corrections and editors notes because of

(00:42):
that White House statement. So willthe White House amend that statement? So
let's be sensitive here. Three peopledied, Three migrants died, two children
and a woman. That was devastating, devastating situation, heartbreaking situation. So
let's be really mindful of what we'retalking about here. I want to take
a sea doing uh And just asyou're talking about our statement, looks as

(01:04):
I mentioned, a woman and twochildren died. We drowned near Eagle Pass,
which is as I said devastating andthat Texas officials blocked border patrol from
accessing the area. That's what washappening. They didn't do that. Our
statement is consistent with DOJ's filing thatit's not even what they filing said,
there was an ongoing emergency situation thatborder patrol was blocked from accessing. There

(01:30):
were other migrants in the in thewater as well, But I'm just saying
there was separate there was an ongoingthe White House statement implied. It says
the White House statement says that Texasofficials blocked US border patrol from attempting to
provide emergency assistance. Two, therewere other there were other migrants in the
world, And why wasn't that includedin the statement? Migrants in the word.

(01:52):
But that's what you are and ourstatement is this is very very much
consistent with DOJ filing. Anything elsespecific you want to know about that,
I would certainly referred to DOJ.Yeah, you know what, the DOJ
also said that that didn't happen.I mean, I went over I literally
was reading to you yesterday from whatthey actually had said. Everything the timeline
as it played out. What endedup happening is that they realized that it

(02:16):
didn't matter. In fact, itcame from their own statement that there is
nothing that Border Patrol would have done, nothing they would have done that would
have changed the outcome of this nothing. Welcome back to the program. It's
Thursday now, although it feels likeMonday. Part two. It's nuts.

(02:38):
So it's good to be with you, Dana lash here, and of course
we've got a lot to get to. You can listen Coast to Coast.
You can also stream the radio programand you can watch the simulcast of the
radio program, which is the videocomponent of it. This story and their
outright line about it, I don'tknow if there is a story that angered

(03:00):
me more because she went up andcompletely contradicted once again, actually everything that
happened in the state of facts.I mean, that's that's uh is something
else, that is something else.In the meantime, all of the fighting,
including over the buoys and everything else, is still taking place down at

(03:23):
the southern border. But this wholething, this whole thing with immigration and
the ongoing fron over cr and inthis instant they're trying to they're desperately trying
to use this as some sort ofleverage against Republicans with this cr fight because
they, I think feel like thiswill manipulate Republicans into what accepting what's been

(03:49):
proposed in the Senate. Do theythink that's gonna work. I mean,
that's a horrible tactic. I mean, we all read I'm like pulling up
all my stuff on this. We'veall read the I mean everything that came
out of everything that came from BorderPatrol. We read all this, and
I went over it with you yesterday. They outright lied, they outright light

(04:10):
about it, and they're still pushingit because they have to. But one
of the things that Border Patrol saidis that it had they they ultimately ended
up having to come back and say, well, it didn't really have anything
to do with us, because thiswas already happening and even before we notified
them this, you know, andit was on the Mexican side of things,
and the Mexican authorities were already dealingwith it. So that's a real

(04:33):
thing that's happened. We're going tocome back to this because I have some
other immigrant we got to talk about. I know, we got the twenty
twenty four stuff, and I'm goingto come back to that. But we
got to talk about some of thestuff right now that's happening in DC.
They're going to have the vote onthe CR today. That's a continuing resolution
that they're going to have. It'sthe stopgap bill that they're trying to avert

(04:56):
another government shutdown. Remember the lasttime this took place, when was this?
This was right before Christmas? Right, Yeah, it was right before
Christmas, and we knew that thiswas going to come up again, and
it's going to continue coming out. They're just going to be kicking this can
down the road all the way probablytill November. Right. That's going to
put them in a very weird spot. There are some House Republicans that want

(05:19):
some serious spending cuts, and thereare other House Republicans that do not want
serious spending cuts. In fact, some of the other House Republicans just kind
of want to move on, toget on, and they're there. I
feel like they're too nervous for theirown good about the upcoming November elections and
their own status and maybe perhaps purpledistricts, and so they're they're capitulating on

(05:45):
this stuff and this is this istough. So they're fighting it out right
now, and the I've I feellike there's going to be a compromise that
no one's going to like. Ifeel like it's going to be a compromise
that we are all going to hatethis CR vote. And we're going to
keep you updated because they're tak avote. They're voting on it today,
and so I'm pulling up some ofthere where they're voting on this today.

(06:08):
They said that they're trying to divideup some of these the money for these
bills. They are looking at allkinds of cuts. They also wanted some
like a freeze in some of theseother big government loans, all this other
stuff, and but this is it'sa it's a third stop gap. So
it's a CR continuing resolution, andall it does is just extend the last

(06:30):
year spending limit. By the way, this is what they were fighting over
when you had the McCarthy Gates thing, right, and then it ultimately ended
up passing, and you literally justcontinued what they had before. It was
the dumbest damn thing I've ever seen. But now they're literally going to continue
the extending the last fiscal years spendinglevels. And they have March first deadline

(06:50):
and a March eighth deadline for spendingat various agencies. So I got a
couple of other deadlines coming up,So they're looking to vote on that today.
In the mean time, while thishas been happening, this came out
from House Oversight. Uh. Theysaid that, Uh, the this is
and it is pretty troubling. TheFeds were asking banks. And by the

(07:13):
way, this should not be newto anyone who's ever you know, tried
to do business as a gun storeor even a pawnshop, because we've seen
this sort of fiscal activism already extendto those types of businesses. Now it's
I mean, we told you itwas going to be hitting everything. The
alarming surveillance on this. The FEDShad asked the banks to search private transactions
for all kinds of terms bass proBible, certain you know, political affiliations

(07:38):
like you were, they were theywere they were asking uh to for these
transactions with these kind of keywords.Cabella's came up as a keyword. Uh,
that's kind of crazy. Religious textscould signify extremism. There's a million
This reminds me of back when theywere looking at tea party and and carently

(08:00):
Ron Paul was literally a name thatDHS had flagged like that could signal some
sort of domestic extremism or something likethat. And then of course they watch
firearms purchases too. Here's the questionI have for this, because I'm glad
that they're finding this out, andI'm glad that they are. I mean,
even Zell payments, MAGA, allof this stuff that's all kind of

(08:22):
weird. But I'm happy that they'refinding this out now right, I'm happy
that they're kind of learning the scopeof it. But also at the same
time, I'm like, how inthe hell are they just now learning the
scope of this because this kicked offbefore Biden assumed office in January of twenty
twenty one. You heard me correctly, And I'm I don't understand that.

(08:50):
I don't understand how they're only Imean, this is house over st and
granted Jim Jordan wasn't there at thetime. I understand that, so we
were without Jim Jordan's you know, eyes on all of this stuff. But
this is apparently something that began beforeJoe Biden entered the White House, and
then Democrats just were super excited, took it, exploited the ever loving hell

(09:13):
out of it, and now yousee what you see. I mean,
I've got a million questions and we'regoing to talk about all of this too,
because this is the other thing thatthey're trying to get to the bottom
of right now. And to keyword, I mean, this is also similar
to what the FBI was kind oftagging parents as I mean, Catholics were

(09:37):
tagged, parents were tagged, andthis is all I mean, this is
some patriot X stuff. Honestly, this is some serious patriot AC level surveillance.
But this is something that did kick. It's been apparently, i mean,
out there for a while. SoI just got a lot of questions
on this because I I why arethey just now finding out about it?

(09:58):
Why is this something that they're justnow finding out about? I mean,
if it's been around that long andI was doing some digging, I mean,
if it's been around that long, then why is it just now that
they're Okay? So that's the otherthing we're looking at. We're we're also
looking at because you have, ohgosh, I've got a million things.

(10:18):
There's so many. I feel likebecause we're rolling towards November, Democrats are
trying to show through as much stuffas possible, because we get the Ukraine
funding too that they're trying to increase. I mean, this just gets worse
and worse. I know, I'mgonna have some silly stuff to alleviate some
of this for you, but we'regonna get into all of that. We're
also going to get into like, for instance, this, this is the
other thing. Pentagon's installing solar panelson the rooftop because Biden's clean energy push

(10:41):
is apparently extending to that too.I got a question, Can I have
you flown You've flown into DC before? Now? I get it that there's
like different paths that planes take whenthey are entering DC and landing, particularly
if you're going to Reagan International.I mean I've flown up or the Pentagon.
I don't know how many times doyou think that putting a ton of

(11:03):
solar panels on the rooftop a ofthe Pentagon? Do you think that that's
like gonna flare and like cause aproblem for the planes that are I mean,
I'm seriously asking. That was thethought that I had, And I
don't know if it's enough to actuallydo that. Yeah, I don't know.
I don't know enough about it tosay one way or the other for
sure. I mean, I guessthere's a potential for problems because you know,
if they're relying on sunlight, andsunlight sometimes is blocked by clouds or

(11:26):
sometimes it's night because we know DCis always sunny, right, so they'll
have to have a big giant batterybanks like your cars have, which we
know, you know, they burnpretty good. Yeah, they burn pretty
good. Yeah, just you know, just wondering. We're gonna get it
all of that. We're also goingto talk about some of the latest of
twenty twenty four immigration, self defense, the Daniel Penny story. I have

(11:48):
a case of a tale of twocases that are pretty much exactly the same.
One's a little bit more extreme inthe other in terms of self defense.
One guy is getting charged Daniel Penny. The other guy isn't. He's
walking free. We're going to talkabout this. We're gonna get into that.
We got quick five, we gotall kinds of stuff. Florida Man
today and stupidire congress men. ThomasMassy's going to join us later on as

(12:09):
well. You know, when yousearch for something on Netflix, what you
get is only a fraction of whatNetflix actually has. Netflix actually has more
than something like eighteen thousand titles globally, but only six thousand of those are
available in the United States. Soyou're missing out on literally thousands of movies
or television shows, anything episodic unlessyou use Express VPN. ExpressVPN is an

(12:31):
app that lets you change your onlinelocation, so you can control where you
want Netflix to think that you're located. They have over one hundred different locations,
so you can gain access to thousandsof new programs no matter where you
live. Now this works with alot of other streaming services too, like
Max, BBC, iPlayer, Hulu, things like that. So this is
something that you should definitely consider.I mean, think about what would you
like to watch it maybe you can'taccess. I mean there's some British shows

(12:52):
that I would like to watch,There's some anime, there's some movies,
all kinds of stuff. And alsoI want to kind of hide where I'm
in too, just because I'm alwaysinternally suspicious. So this is what Express
VPN can come and clutch for. Also, it's super fast. I can
stream everything at HD with no buffering, works on any device. I can
enjoy whatever I'm watching from my phone, laptop, tablet, TV, you

(13:13):
name it. It just works. And Express VPN protects your privacy and security
to keep you safe from hackers thatwant to take your info and sell it
on the dark web. So stopmissing out on great programming and get thousands
of a new shows with Express vpn. And we got them to give you,
guys, an extra three months freewhen you use our special link Express
vpn dot com slash data that's exp R e s s vpn dot com

(13:35):
slash data to get three extra monthscompletely free. After taking a longer holiday
break than you, Congress had togo back to work. And what did
they do? Pass yet another stopgap spending bill to kick the can down
the road until March. You keeppaying taxes, they continue to not fund
the border. Check out the Watchdogon Wall Street podcast on Apple, Spotify,

(13:56):
wherever you get your podcasts, andnow all of the news you would
probably miss. It's time for Dana'sQuickfiveoo. All right, so I love
this because well, my friend Iowahasaid that Canada the problem that solves itself.
This was his joke. It issad that four point one percent of

(14:16):
all deaths were medically assisted in Canada. In twenty twenty two, thirteen,
two hundred and forty one Canadians wereeuthanized like pets, a growth rate of
thirty one point two percent since twentytwenty one. That's kind of crazy.
Like California also allows it, butthey are way less than Canada. I'm

(14:39):
fascinated as to why that is.I don't know. Maybe it's like the
weather that's saving them a little bitmore in Calvin. I don't know what
it is, but that's kind ofcrazy. Apple is now banned from selling
smart watches with blood oxygen sensors inthem like today, right officially starts today.
They said that they stole medical tech. So this came out yesterday,
so I'm assuming it's today. Afederal court rejector the request to pause the

(15:01):
Apple watch ban, and they saidthey're prohibited from selling models with the blood
oxygen feature. Well, I'm gladthat I got mine, because I got
the blood oxygen feature. They saidan email from an engineer may have actually
sparked the ban. They said thatapparently it was stolen tech is the claim,
So they're gonna have to litigate this. It's gonna take forever. I
don't even know what this is gonna. I don't even know what it's going
to mean, because you know howlong this stuff goes. It's it's crazy.

(15:24):
But now here's here's what's interesting.The legal proceedings don't affect the sale
of these types of Apple like Applewatches worldwide. It's only in the US,
and that accounted for forty two percentof all of its overall revenue from
North America last year. One inthree Apple watches sold worldwide are so sold
in the United States, so youcan probably get like a European one on

(15:45):
them. You know, I'm nottelling I don't know if that breaks a
law or not. And if itdoes, I didn't tell you to do
that. I didn't tell you todo that. That was Wan and Kine.
That's Here's I don't know if Ithink that this this is refreshing,
and I don't don't even know howto take it. Somebody was nice in
politics, and it's weird to mebecause I'm so used to everyone being buttholes.

(16:06):
The White House Chief of Staff calledAsha Hutchinson to apologize for a snarky
DNC statement about his campaign suspension. So, Jeff Science, who's Joe Biden's
White House chief of Staff called Hutchinsonto apologize for a statement that the DNC
had made mocking Hutchinson's twenty twenty fourcampaign because Hutchinson came in last in Iowa

(16:29):
and he suspended his campaign, andthe DNC issued a statement saying, oh,
we thought he already dropped out along ago. In fact, Sarafina
Schatika whatever the hell her name is, said that the news comes as a
shock to those of us who couldhave sworn he'd already dropped out, and
KJP kind of well, she confirmedit. She was asked about this by
a member of the press, SoI guess they had. That's like a

(16:52):
rare thing to see. I don'tknow how I feel about this. I
mean, I like it, butare they scamming us? And then I
feel like, you know, animalout in the wilderness, like you know,
come on and here's some food, little animal, and then you don't
want to get hit. So youdon't know. I don't know. I
just I don't know how I feelabout this. I just want to flinch.
I don't know. I'm in aflinching mood. Let's see here,
the ooh container lines are scrambling torent more ships amid that ongoing red sea

(17:15):
crisis because you have all these diversions, so that means container lines need more
ships to carry the same amount ofcargo. And this is even more precarious
because now you got the coalition strikesin Yemen. Oh sorry, according to
the you know, the the transmilitant activists, yeah women or yeah they
so they're they're freight rates are higher, shipping's gonna cost more. Stay tuned,

(17:37):
We're all gonna need this. Juststock up on wiss foods because who
knows what's gonna happen after November.Honestly, you know what, I'm just

The President I look right across thetable from in the Cabinet Officials room,
and I said, mister President, you have the authority right now in
this catastrophe. It's your actions thatcreated it. In fact, mister President,
I told him in the meeting today, we've documented sixty four instances of
you taken executive actions in your agenciesthat created this catastrophe of mister President,

(19:08):
it's on you to unwind it.We don't. Hmmm. So that's the
Speaker Mike Johnson who's saying, well, you know your policies did create because
they did, they did create allof this at the border, even though
he wants totack like they are notwelcome back to the program, Dana last
year with you. Bottom of thisfirst hour, and we're going through everything
that's they're having to vote on thecr today. We got all this other

(19:30):
stuff with the House Oversight coming uplater on. We have Congressman Thomas Massey
who's going to be joining us aswell, and we're also going to get
into some of the twenty twenty fourstuff, just to keep you apprized of
everything that is happening. And Igot to pull this up because and I
didn't have this on my list toimmediately jump into. But it made me

(19:52):
mad. It may not for thereasons that you maybe think, because you
guys know how I feel about cruiseships. So I saw this tweet from
the schmuck where's this that? Andthey put this up and they tweeted,
late stage capitalism is so absurdly comicalat times, and they have a video.
It's accompanied by video of this newscruise ship. What is it?

(20:15):
Icon of the Seas is what it'scalled. And they, I guess they're
complaining. They go. It hastwenty three restaurants, twenty two bars,
in clubs, seven full sized pools, nine hot tubs, a full water
park, rock climbing wall, iceskating rinks, surf simulator. I read
it a smurf simulator for the firsttime, and I was intrigued. Golf
course, basketball court rooms for seventhy six hundred people. Are they making

(20:40):
fun of cruise ships? Like?I don't like cruises because A I get
seasick, and B I get claustrophobic, and then ce I just don't like
being on vessels for endless amounts oftime that I can't get off of,
you know what I mean? Likeplanes push it for me. I just
have a thing, don't It's aweird thing that I've always had. I

(21:03):
If I'm on a flight anything morethan three hours, I gotta get up
and walk around. I just getsuper antsy, and it drives my husband
insane, God love him. That'sthe whole Otherwise I don't have a problem
with cruise ships also. Sometimes youmean they got it, don't They have
like and captain and that one guygot drunk and like sank the ship.
So I get a little nervous, right, But I mean, basically,

(21:26):
it's like a I mean it's it'slike a floating Chucky cheese just for adults.
I don't know what else to say. What's the other one that's like
chuck e Cheese, But they pretendthey're not because they it's more adult catered.
It's two dudes names I can't remember. I don't know. Charlie and
Harry, I don't know. Ican't David Busters. Yeah, I couldn't

(21:48):
remember it for the life of me. I was trying to remember what it
was called. But what of thehell is late stage capitalism? You know
what that word is? That that'swhat stupid braddy trust funds socialists say when
they notice that their plumber gets togo and do fun stuff. They call

(22:08):
it late stage capitalism. No,that's like capitalism, you dumb snotty brat,
That's what it is. I thinkthey're trying to make it sound like
it's a cancer, like you're inlate stages. It's capitalism. But it's
the Have you seen this ship? This is like, this is crazy.
This ship is crazy, man,I don't even know how it stays afloat.

(22:30):
Don't don't email me. I literallywill have people that will like scientists
out there that will email me howthis works. I mean, I all
I know is at the front ofit. There's like this glass geodesic dome
in the front, and I'm intrigued. There's like five levels above deck.
I don't even know what some ofthis stuff is on there. It's like
water slides and ferswee. It lookslike a boat that has been been dazzled

(22:52):
like a lot. I just youknow what I mean, it looks like
Barbie's dreamboat. I don't even know. Oh man, there's so much stuff
happening on this ship. Why arethey making fun of it? Like I
who if? So? What ifyou? Honestly, if I could stay
on something and go to a bunchof different places instead of just flying to
one place, I just I likethe I like to stay busy, so

(23:15):
I kind of like the appeal ofthat. I just cannot stay with a
bunch of people on a thing.I can't. I just get real weird.
I mean, I can barely doa plane just you know. And
if we'd go on road trips,Dana drives. That's like the known rule
in my house. My family makesso much fun of me. I had
my aunts. They were like canyou because they were very old fashioned on
my answer like, oh, wellthe man drives, and they're like,

(23:36):
well, there she is driving likeher whole family. I got a car
full of dudes and I'm driving, you know, God help them all.
I just I have to do so. I have to. You know.
I'm not content with excuse me,with being in charge of snacks and music,
although I will do that too.But anyway, long story short,
that's the only thing I get angstyabout. What is there to complain about
this? They're mad because it hastwenty three restaurants. There's twenty three restaurants

(24:00):
on this boat. That's like someserious. They fit twenty three restaurants on
this thing and it floats. That'sscience. The noodles, that's the noodle
thing that you're seeing on the simulcast. That's all the water stuff. The
water park. They got a waterpark. You know what. We are
so spoiled. You're on a boatin the water, and you can get

(24:23):
into a vessel of water in theboat that's in the water. You can
get in a tube and fling yourselfdown to god knows what on a boat
in the water. You know whatI'm saying, like that we're spoiled brats,
and I got this. I knowit's a snotty trust fund socialist,
right, you know it is.And they're sitting here complaining, Oh my

(24:45):
gosh, I can't believe that regularpaper can go and do fun things if
it has like the appearance of evenlooking fancy social trust fund, socialist,
trust fund, leftist get ticked off. Oh my gosh. The pull is
that I'm supposed to be able todo anything, and then they think it's
only like poor people that do cruises. Let me tell you something. I

(25:07):
gotta tell you about my weird uncle. He's weird. God love him.
He was the most one of themost cantankerous people I've ever met. And
I think one of the only kidsthat he ever got along with was my
youngest son, who is an oldman in a young person's body. It's
weird. And he would do theseweird vacations, right, And he liked

(25:30):
to go on cruise ships because heliked to people watch, and he was
you know, he worked really hard. He was one of those guys who
was loaded, but you never knewit because he just didn't flash it and
he just didn't care. He just, you know, he earned money and
he's like whatever. He liked togo take pictures of covered bridges, that
was the thing. And he literallywas part of a club. And he
did weird vacations like he used toget I don't even know how you do

(25:52):
this. He was in the navyfor a long time. I don't even
know how you do this. Buthe was able to get on like merchant
vessels and go to these weird portsof call and just like wander around these
totally non touristy places all over theworld. He also still I don't know
if I should say this, wellmaybe I heard. Let's just put it
like that so I give myself someplausible deniability. He took the the art

(26:17):
the town in southern Missouri where myfamily's from. He took the town's sign
like welcome to the city of youknow whatever. He took that and took
it up to the north pole. And I guess that's the thing. Where
you stick it in the ice upthere. He did that. He stole
it, and it was like thetalk of the town for five years.
Because there's three hundred people there. It's all they ever remember when our sign
was stolen. I wonder who didit, and they all look at my

(26:41):
uncle. But he loved it becausehe liked to people watch and he liked
amenities. That was the thing, right, And I love the idea.
And he probably was more loaded thanthese snotty brats that are complaining about this.
Money does not buy you class, and it doesn't by you wit clearly,
But I mean, you got toI just I'm trying to You got

(27:03):
a rock climbing wall on a boatin the ocean. You're on a boat
in the ocean and you can rockclimb. God bless America. You have
seven poles, nine hot tubs ina full water park. Why are they
not paying us right now? Gollyon a boat in the ocean. Now
you might be wondering, Dana,is that enough to no? Because I

(27:25):
still got to be I can't unlessyou let me drive the boat. I'm
probably not gonna be cool with itcause I've got a m It's weird I'm
on a boat with a bunch andI can't get off. Like if I
know that I can't get off, suddenly I want off, you know what
I mean? Like when the lockdownhappened and they were like make sure you
wash your hands, Suddenly I wantedto lick doorknobs and do all of the
things that they told me not todo right away. I like staying in

(27:47):
my hobbit hole. And then whenthey told me that I couldn't go anywhere,
I wanted to leave all the time. I don't know what it is.
It's just the thing. But latestage capitalism they try to make everyday
accessibility for everybody like a bad thing. I saw that. It just ticked
me off. It's so braddy,it's so bratty, and it's so like
snotty. I can't I don't know. Late stage capitalism is not having a

(28:10):
job and being in debt because youliterally paid six figures for a humanity's degree.
That is late stage capitalism. Okay, late stage capitalism is going into
debt for a stupid, worthless degreein women's studies. That's late stage capitalism.
Shut up, so bratty. Ican't stand these people. Some of

(28:30):
y'all didn't beat your children enough whenthey were younger, and it shows just
got to say, all right,so this couple of other things here that
we're going to get into the Itold you we got to see our vote.
I wanted to touch on this situationof defense as it pertains to marine

(28:51):
veteran Daniel Penny. Now you rememberhim. He's the guy who, and
a lot of other stuff has comeforward from these witnesses that were there on
the subway platform all this one down. He's the guy who ended up.
He put it this this this otherdude who was being very dangerous, Jordan
Eely in a chokehold in this NewYork City subway last year, right,
everybody remembers this. There was somevideo and photos of it, and there

(29:17):
was one witness that had come forwardwho had said, yeah, this Jordan
Neely was dangerous and he was lungingat everyone while saying he was going to
kill us. And it came outlater that there was a whole thread on
Reddit warning people about this guy. They were like, oh, he used
to be a Michael Jackson impersonator, but the last several years he's gotten really
really dangerous, and you know, lunging towards people and acting like he's gonna

(29:37):
hurt them, and he punched awoman in the face and like broke her
nose and all this stuff. Likehe's already had like a violent record,
and so you know, he waspretty well known, I mean to the
fact that they had They had literallyhad a subreddit on him, you know,
a threat on Reddit about this. And so Daniel Penny was on the
subway, if you remember, andthen this Jordan Neely guy started threatening other

(30:00):
passengers, lunging at them, sayingheywa, He's going to kill them,
and all this other stuff. Andit got to the point where Neely uh
became uh and not just to Pennybut these other witnesses. He looked like
an actual, clear and present danger. I mean, he was an actual
threat. And that's when Daniel Pennyacted. And what he ended up doing

(30:22):
is he he uh kind of wrestledwith and Neelie put him in a choke
hold and held them and then Neelyultimately died and they were looking to see
if you know, he had diedfrom the choke hold, et cetera.
Uh. There were other witnesses theretoo who were helping to hold him down.
Now others are coming forward corroborating whatthat first witness said. Uh,
and this has been going on inthe in the in the depositions, they
are like, yeah, he waslunging at people, acting like he was

(30:45):
going to hit random people, sayinghe was going to telling other passengers that
he was going to kill them ashe was getting closer and lunging towards them.
So they with Penny's case and Imean, it's it's I this is
this, It's it's not even thisis the case about self defense. The
judge denied emotion by Penny's attorneys todismiss the case, and then the decision

(31:07):
came in court this week and thejudge ordered Penny back to court in late
March, and his trials is expectedto start this fall. And he's pled
not guilty. They're charging him withsecond degree manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide.
And the way that they said,oh, it was in the death of
Jordan Neely, a former Michael Jacksonimpersonator who was shouting and begging for money

(31:30):
on the train. No, hewas doing a hell of a lot more
than that, and he hadn't beena Michael Jackson impersonator for years he was
threatening people. And this was whattwo weeks almost two weeks after, he
punched an old woman in the face, like an elderly woman. He hit
her in the face and broke hernose. Imagine if that was like your
grandmother or your wife or you know, your aunt or whatever. Can you
imagine or your mother punched her inthe face. And he also assaulted another

(31:55):
woman, so he had like anactual record of danger and the fact that
it's like this is I think isinsane. And then the family and remember
his family who had never said theynever stepped in to help him. They're
like, oh, it's so meanthat this Daniel Penny guy killed him,
et cetera. Well, where wereyou all when he was out there begging
for bread? Where were you guysat Because now the only time that they

(32:15):
showed up, apparently is when theythought they could get some money out of
a court case. And you knowthat's true, that's absolutely true. But
this case is interesting and I wantto explore this more coming up because there's
another case of self defense where aguy had to take on a violent homeless
man and he ended up stabbing thehomeless man and this guy was it was

(32:39):
able to leave Scott free. It'swild and I'm wondering why. So we're
going to talk about that and morehere coming up. Hi, I'm Adriana,
a politics major at Hillsdale College. Here's Hillsdale President, doctor Larry Arn't
with a Constitution Minute. America's foundersrecognized an obvious fact of life. Human

(32:59):
beings diff in terms of physical attributesand talents. Because of this, some
people will be better at some thingsthan they are at others. But they
also recognize that the tall and theshort among us, the swift and the
slow among us, are still humanbeings if we are recognizable as human beings,
and therefore we are equal in termsof the rights that pertain to human
beings, rights attached to human nature, rights that come from God. The

(33:22):
Decorations of Independence names three of thebig ones, life, liberty, and
the pursuit of happiness. Exercising theserights is necessary if we are to be
truly free in our own time. Many influential people believe that only government can
decide what our rights should be.This is dangerous. Understanding our rights and
how the Constitution protects them is vitalto our freedom to learn more and get

(34:05):
Are you Canadian? Of course?I am? Are you part of
the composition? Are you? Idon't know how to phrase that. I
mean you got like, well,I didnt want to ask you did you
vote for Trudeau? Uh, youknow, I'm not going to say and
let me tell you something right now. But man says he's not going to
say, Like if you ask himbout, did you vote for Biden? He's
like, oh, I'm not goingto say, that's none of your business.
He voted for Biden. So thisis this is what I'm talking about.

(34:28):
You guys, the enemy, theenemy of Canada. That's what that's
got to be. It's going tobe. We've got a pretty supportive gay
and lesbian community in this city.I did want to ask you something you
wrote a couple of years ago.You said, if I had a gay
son, I would think, oh, like another another is I'm saying of
the swamp. You guys are swamp. You've become a champion, you become
a star. And then someone said, let me ask you something. Are
you are you? Are you gay? I had the chance, now are

(34:49):
the first are you let me?Are you gay? He could? I
get answered, Well, I'm asking. I'm this is a part of what
are you? Are you a gayman? I'm an ally of the community.
Okay, if you had a Iwant a grand kid? Problem with
it? Oh man, what youdid your week? Command? Dude,
you're like, you're probably the problem. You elected Justin Trudeau like, well
you can when he sees the bankaccounts, like you're just empathetic, and

(35:14):
and the fact that the fact thatyou have no fucking backbone and and has
to shut down your country and seesbank accounts. You asked me some stupid
like that, go yourself, movethe con man. Oh my gosh,
Son Strickland. Is that So thatwas a press conference for the UFC,
and that reporter just played the questionand answer version of FAFO. That's what

(35:37):
happened. Welcome back to the program. Dan'a last with you? What does
that mean to be an ally?I asked that during that when people are
like, oh, I'm an allyof the community, Like do you help
lift it up? Like, Idon't understand what you do? What does
that mean? Do you help themget it home? Like? How does
that? How are you an ally? Do you help that? Do you
like? Go? And what doyou do? Do you what does that

(35:57):
mean? How are you allied?I'm just an ally of the community,
you know, allied forces, youknow, a gayas I don't know what
does that mean? Like the language, you know, like he had to
all he had to do was sayno, but you know, I don't.
I don't got a problem with it. I'm just you know, And
then that's all I had to do. But then he used that goofy language.

(36:21):
I don't even know. I gottabe honest. There are a lot
of conservative uh what do you say? Gay's a lot of conservative gay folks
out there that don't even like thatlanguage. They're like, what does that
mean? How are you an ally? Like are you taking credit? Like
what do you doesn't even doesn't makeit make any sense. I can't stand
it. It's all clownery. Gosh, dang it. We're gonna have to

(36:45):
get sponsored by Brondo at some point. All right, so coming up,
coming up, I am Sean Stricklandright now. Mentally I'm just done.
So coming up, we got sometwenty twenty four stuff to get into.
Uh the Karen's addition, can wejust got to put a hand over my
mouth? Coming up? Stay withus friends over at Patriot Mobile, the

my colleagues on the other side ofthe aisle, let's be honest with immigrants

(38:12):
who deserve better than what you're offeringthem. Don't welcome immigrants if you plan
to reject them. If you keeppushing your bigoted HR two bill, then
also pass this bill. I've takenthe liberty of drafting it for you.
It removes the Statue of Liberty, our largest symbol that tells people to come
here. This is who you areremoving the fabric of America. So I

(38:36):
want to know which Republican who supportsand voted for HR two will introduce this
bill what they might as well takedown the Statue of Liberty if they're going
to demand a secure border, mightas wall I mean, you know,
because that's binding law, the inscriptionthat's on the Statue of Liberty. You

(38:57):
absolute jackwagon. I mean, thisguy is literally a walking participation trophy.
He is Why are you laughing? He is? You know, I'm right
you know, I'm right, doeshe even pay taxes? Like? Is
he old enough? Is he oldenough to even rent a car? He's
one of those guys. He's like, ah, gen Z like I'm gen
X, baby, gen X,I'm gen X. I'm gonna claim it.

(39:20):
I'm gonna hang onto it all daylong, raising gen Z okay.
And I just feel like, becauseI can't tell you, first off with
a full stop welcome back, topof the second hour, God love you,
Daniell, last year with you, listen coast to coast, let's sit
together in gossip. I can't tellyou how many people have come up to
me and have said, oh,you know your kids, and can they

(39:42):
come and work in our organization? Can they? I seriously, I'm not
gonna say, but this has happened, And me being me, I'm like
no, I'm like, well whynot? I'm like, why do you?
I don't give a rants ask aboutanybody's opinion if they can't pay taxes.
I am like a ninety year oldperson in this regard, like live
a little, you know what Imean? And I think about that because
this is like one of many Twitchyhas like a whole catalog of this guy's

(40:06):
dumbest moments, and it's basically hisentire record of time in Congress. He
has said some of the goofiest stuff. He's had to delete tweets right and
left because it's so bad. Ohmy gosh, like it's he's it's bad.
He like at one point, youremember the the Tyree Nichols case and
as it turned out, there werei mean black officers involved in this,

(40:30):
and he had tweeted, doesn't matterwhat color of the police officers are,
the murder of Nichols is anti blackand the result of white supremacy. So
that's like a new it was anew hot take that he had to delete
because black officers are apparently white supremacy, and he had to delete that.
I mean, that's like one ofmany. So long story short, this
is, I mean, take downthe statue of liberty. If they're going
to demand a secure border, whatdoes that have to There is an educational

(40:53):
deficit in this country, and that'sone of the many exhibits of it,
and it's in Congress. The lackof education. What is that? What
is one of those things have todo with the other? Oh, if
do we have to take down thestatue of liberty to have a secure border.
What does that do? I don'teven know what does that mean?
Sidebar? Do you remember? Iremember in elementary school. I was like

(41:14):
in first grade, I think, and they had to do weren't you supposed
to bring in pennies? And theywere like fixing the statue of liberty and
they needed all the kids pennies.Remember that. I remember doing that.
I remember bringing in some pennies andthinking, I'm fixing the statue of liberty.
I helped. It's technically I ownedsome of it, right, I

(41:34):
don't know, but I don't.I don't even know that that was If
that's their is that their best defensefor this? Is that their best defense?
Because this is dumb? If itis just you know? And then
you got this audio sound bite nineBenny Thompson. But Benny and the Jets
audio some bite nine the Democratic witness, respected impeachment expert and constitutional scholar,

(42:00):
professional Professor Frank Bowman testify and Iquote, policy differences, no matter how
severe, no matter how heated, are simply not grounds for impeachment unquote.
You cannot impeach a cabinet secretary becauseyou don't like a president's policist. That's
not what impeachment is for. That'snot what the constant it literally is.

(42:23):
If they're literally not doing their job, guess what you can do. I
don't know if you know that, but you can do. You know that
you can actually impeach them if youdon't like what they're doing. That's a
real thing. And he's not Imean in Majorcas says good Heavens. Don't
take my word for it. There'sa New York Times article that dived that

(42:45):
dove into all of that. Imean, this guy was He and others
were encouraging dhs and HHS, encouragingpeople process as many people as you can't
just get them through. Makes mewonder, like what's their cut like with
you know, from the cartels, what's the cut? Like, I'm just

(43:07):
wondering audio sound bite fourteen to thispoint. You know, I don't think
that we're going to need any timelisten to this. This is uh what
they call our Kareeine Johnson. Yeah. It's also the fact that there's I
think seventy one percent. You cangive your holes differently, Why does seventy
one percent of Americans think the economyis not doing well. I mean,

(43:28):
you've listened a litle of things alreadywhy it is connect So we know that
it's going to take time for peopleto fully feel what the president has done.
But again, we've seen consumer confidencego up. What is that people
are starting to do that trickle downdepression? Are they literally arguing the trickle
down theory that they hated under Laugher? Did they? Are? They?

(43:52):
Is that what they're doing? It'sgoing to take time for people to fully
feel what. I was on JesseWaters last night and I made mention of
the seven dollars butter and he waslike, what kind of bougie butter are
you getting? And I wanted togo, Jesse, whan's the last time
you bought butter? It's not boogiebutter, that's everyday butter. That's like
basic bee butter. I got basicBee butter. Dude, seven bucks,

(44:13):
it's like six ninety something, sevendollars, round up seven dollars. People
are feeling it right now. They'refeeling it at the border, they're feeling
it at the pump, They're feelingit. They what is this whole?
Seriously, it's gonna take time. It's been four years it's gonna take time
for people to to feel what he'sdone. What do you mean, feel?

(44:34):
What it feel? What? Whatare we supposed to feel? They
never actually said that, what arewe supposed to feel? Exactly? I'm
feeling something. Yeah, I'm feelinga giant pain of my a double snakes,
I'm feeling that who brung it?Cally? Oh my gosh, I

(44:59):
can't, I can't. I justknow they are. They're really struggling.
They're struggling to deal with immigration, and immigration is again is becoming one is
one of the top, if notthe top issue that voters are looking at.
And it's not just Republican voters,it's Democrats too. And Democrats are

(45:22):
not They are not reading the room. They really aren't. And that is
so going to hurt them. It'sso going to hurt them. I just
a case in point, because we'regoing to talk about twenty twenty four stuff.
You know how I made mention ofthe Florida District House District thirty five,
right, And that was a districtit's you know, it's predominantly Democrat.

(45:43):
Dasantis flipped it. DeSantis was pluseleven in the election. Trump lost
it by five and so they're avery specific type of voter, like they'll
vote for a they'll vote for aRepublican. But I think they were driven
by the COVID stuff, education andimmigration, right, that seems to be
like the top three issues. Andyou had a Republican there who hated Disantis

(46:05):
and ran a stupid campaign. Butwhat's more than that, it wasn't just
the Republican that ran a dumb campaign. Even though the Democrat won, The
Democrat won by like what almost threepoints, Like it barely eked out a
win now in a district that isI want to say, I think it's
plus thirteen Democrat, it's double digit. Why did the Democrats struggle so badly

(46:34):
to eke out a win there? And I think, and it's not just
this, because you can read thisboth ways going into twenty twenty four with
messaging in tone and all this otherstuff. But Democrats are not reading the
room at all. And as youget closer to November, it's going to

(46:55):
become a little bit more urgent forpeople in terms of the economy because no
matter how big of an issue ina general election, no matter how big
of an issue you make abortion oreven how prevalent. It might be in
other state elections or even in amidterm race. It always comes down to

(47:20):
the economy, of which immigration isan aspect of it. And they are
telling you they're not reading the roomon this, and that works in republicans
favor. But at the same time, I like having healthy disparities because I
think that you, as the voter, we all benefit. I don't like

(47:43):
a bunch of stupid people arguing whocan be the dumbest. I want everyone
bringing their best and the best comingfrom that. And when you have Democrats
not reading the room and there,I mean, it's just they're messing this
up. Like when Kamala Harris wenton the VA and she was saying the
same thing that KJP was saying,Oh, well they're you know, they're

(48:07):
gonna see like when soon. Theykeep saying, well, they haven't seen
or they haven't fully felt what thepresident has done. Well, what's the
timeline here, girl, because it'sbeen four years and exactly what are people
supposed to be feeling? What astupid, thirty thousand foot vagary way to
say that. That's so dumb. But Republicans got to read the room too,

time for Dana's Quick five. Okay, this is an absolute lie. You

(50:00):
know who authored this study? Men? Men? They say are better with
directions and women. And it's astupid study that's probably not at all based
in science. Shut up. Itis not University of Illinois. It's determined
that when it comes to how differentgenders are raised. They said that,
they said that NAVI enhanced navigational abilitiesversus females. They say that men's.

(50:23):
Okay, that's not true, atleast not in my marriage. It is
not true. I am literally likeI can navigate six ways to Sunday.
I literally learned how to read likenavigational charts and all this stuff when we
had a boat we were down fishing, and all that I learned everything I
actually like read up and everything Iwanted to know, how to navigate.

(50:46):
I am the navigational person in ourrelationship, exception to the rules. I
just feel, well, you knowwhat. And then when we've done all
kinds of defensive handgun courses, everyone'slike, oh, you listened so well,
like you followed, like you completed. I'm always the one who completes
a task and I follow it andthey're like, well, yeah, women,
just listen, you know better. And these are the men instructors that

(51:06):
are saying this. So this isfake news. It's fake news. But
they say that that their studying stunowsthat men take, you know, the
navigational stuff. I don't know.Man, my stepdad couldn't navigate. I'm
just saying he couldn't. God loveit, but he couldn't. Uh.
Let's see here. I got acouple of other ooh, this isn't this
is a good. Florida public collegesare now barred from using state and federal

(51:28):
funds for DEI programs. It isa new rule, a byproduct of legislation
that was spearheaded by descent as itapplies to twenty eight schools within the Florida
College system, and so they saidthat they will not allow taxpayer funds to
be used to promote DEI at anyof the twenty eight state college campuses.
It's done. That's huge, that'ssuper huge, and I'm so I that

(51:49):
needs to like extend everywhere. That'sreally good news and we need more and
more of those wins. So thiswas weird I was reading this. Schwarzenegger
was detained in Munich for an unregisteredwatch. He was transporting a watch for
a charity auction and they held himup at the airport because they said it
was an unregistered luxury watch that hedidn't declare through customs. He had to

(52:15):
pay thirty thousand dollars and they demandedhalf of it in cash, and he
said that it was like a holdhim up or something, and it does
sound like that. They tried tohave him use a credit card machine for
an hour and then they made himwalk to an ATM and withdraw money.
So o no, sorry. Itwas ended up being ten thousand dollars.
The taxes were like over ten thousanddollars and they wouldn't let him leave until

(52:38):
he figured out how to get moneyand he had to pay half in cash.
It was his own property and hewas bringing it into Germany for charity
auction that he wasn't and he hadto pay. I don't understand that.
What am I missing? That's oneof the dumbest name things I've ever heard.
AI Fraudact could outlaw parodies, politicalcartoons, and more. Oh boy,

(53:01):
I don't know what I think about. You know, man, this
is going to get crazy. Seethis is where all the new legal stuff
is coming in with tech. It'sa very very broadly written bill, and
you could you could target anything fromchat, GPT generated images, to satire,
to comedic impressions, any of it. It is the it's a very

(53:24):
long name for this bill, NoArtificial Intelligence, Fake Replicas and Unauthorized Duplications
Act. So it's the no AIFraud Act, and it's under a reason
notes, it's under the auspices ofprotecting your right to likeness and voice.
But it's so restrictive that it literallyensnares absolutely everything. So something else fun

(53:46):
to watch? I mean, that'swhenever and broadly written. Good heavens.
Sharing fake nude images could become afederal crime under proposed law the reintroduction of
preventing deep bakes. This is partof that that actually, if you are
sharing an image of someone and it'sdigitally altered, like in your and it's

(54:07):
like you're telling everyone you're sharing nudeimages, you could actually be actionable for
this. Now goodness, and menwith boobs, they say, if you
got man boobs, that could actuallyraise a risk of early death. This
is a study from Denmark. Whatis it called ginocomastia. It's a hormonal
imbalance and effects between one to twothirds of men, and it varies with

(54:30):
age. And they said the developmentof it, you know, you get
three different stages. But they saidthat it actually men who have it,
they have a thirty seven percent increaseof early death from any cause compared to
those without the condition. And theysaid, interestingly, neurological diseases were linked
to a twenty nine percent lower risk. All right, so coming up,
can we talk about bad surrogacy withinthe GOP because I have prime example for

(54:52):
you and it needs to stop.Stay with us, elevate your commute workouts
or downtime with the Danish show podcastUnlead the Power of Knowledge at your fingertips
by following Dana on Apple, Spotifyor wherever you get your podcasts. What
I can tell you is like, for every Karen we lose, there's a
there's a Julio and a Jamal readyto sign up for the MAGA movement.

(55:14):
And that abodes well for our abilityto be more diverse and to be more
durable as we had into me andHulu, Dumbady school on. That's Matt
Gates, who's doing like the worstsurrogacy I've ever seen. Welcome back to
the program, Dana last year withyou bottom of this second. This is
what I'm talking about. So hewent, he was doing an interview and

(55:36):
he said that for every Karen, which is kind of a slur, I
guess for white chicks, right, white women, suburban white women. You
know the demo that Republicans do sogreat with that for every Karen Trump loses,
he'll pick up a Julio or aJamal to his base. Yeah,

(56:01):
no, Darnell's you don't get no. Darnell's no. So why would you
do that? Just why why wouldyou do that? Look, the primary
and we'll talk about that here comingup, But let's just say, let's

(56:22):
just say that everything's right or evenif not, if that's the guy that
you want, why would you dothat to him? Why are you like
this? Why are you beavising thisup? Stop it? Well, you
know, for every caring we getor that we lose to Cata Julio on
a jamal there, but no Darnell'soh my gosh, because that's the one

(56:45):
demo that Trump does not do wellwith. No Republicans ever really done great
with it. But Trump has beenon the struggle bus with that demo.
I mean, I got receipts fordays not I just this is the way
it is. Republicans have always kindof struggled with that demo. I mean

(57:06):
Trump was even like please like listen, this was like the last time he's
campaigning. Listen, suburban women, would you please like me? Like,
why is he why is he doingthis? Why would Gates go out there
and be like, well, youknow, for every carrot sh sh Because

(57:30):
that's the demo again that all Republicansstruggle with. But Trump has got to
have He's got to have suburban women. I mean that's just And twenty twenty
four November is well, we'll getto national polls here later on. But
that's the group that you can't goout there and be like, well,
he doesn't need dog women, buttheir realignment isn't such where you can lose

(57:53):
suburban white women. And I thinkgoing out and just sticking your foot in
your mouth like that is just it'sunnecessary and it creates problems for the candidate
that you profess to be advocating for. It's bad surrogacy. I don't know
why you would do that. It'sjust then it's bad strategy. And me,
if I had a surroga go outthere and say that stuff, man,

(58:14):
I'd be yanking a knot in theirtail because it's it just creates unnecessary
drama and unnecessary antagonism where you shouldn'tadd more. It's just goofy. Now.
The other thing too, I wantedto play is this because I think
that the time for Republicans issuing ultimatumson stuff is done. But I wanted

(58:35):
to. Like I Marjorie Taylor Green, I don't agree with her all the
time. Some I love it whenshe shows the Hunter pictures in the hearings
because it is hysterical, straight facedacts like it's no big deal, and
everyone else is like over the top, gasping, grabbing at their necks like

(58:57):
it's hysterical. This is not oneof those times, though, So she's
mad at Mike Johnson. And letme remind you, remember we were told
by all these all these cats thatwe were going to trade out these you
know, this speaker, We're goingto trade out this speaker for a more

(59:17):
conservative speaker. We didn't get amore conservative speaker, and now this one
has less political capital. Now heseems like a nice guy. I know
people who know him. I don'tknow him, never met him. He
seems like a nice guy. Nothingpersonal against him. But I'm just going
by what I see. And she'smad. And then she says this in
an interview. Listen, any Republicanor really anyone elected to serve in the

(59:43):
United States Congress should be supporting protectingAmerica's national security interests, and they would
never vote for that deal. Andthat's why I told Speaker Johnson, if
he made that deal in exchange forsixty billion dollars for Ukraine, I would
vacate that. And I still standby those words, all right, So
this is why that's a problem. You cannot be hardcore on this while also,

(01:00:07):
and again this is where you gotYou can't be thrown down ultimatums because
you're creating problems for yourself. Ithink the bill's garbage too. The bill
is pretty much exactly what the guythat you endorsed pushed in twenty eighteen,
and that was but that also includedamnesty for one point eight million people.
That's not me. That's the historyof what happened. I'm just pointing it

(01:00:28):
out. And that's why I'm saying, you cannot all of a sudden throw
down a line that's harder than theline that you are using to measure your
endorsement for the candidate you are advocatingthat you're advocating everybody vote for. You
got to be consistent and you cannotcreate these traps for yourself. And that's
kind of what she did. Here. Are we gonna sit here and vacate
the chair all the time? Imean, if you're gonna if you're gonna

(01:00:50):
have Mike Johnson vacate because you're madabout this bill, then my gosh,
don't look back at twenty eighteen onepoint eight million getting amnesty. Hell,
don't look at that. But atthe same time, that's I think this
is a problem with Johnson, Andit's not that you know, he's a
bad guy, he's you know,it just it is what it is.
It's a tight majority in the Housethat we are on track to lose in

(01:01:10):
November. This bill is probably notgoing to go anywhere. I can't imagine
that it would go anywhere. Andif it wasn't for people like Chip Roy
and Thomas Massey and some of theHouse Freedom Caucus, if it wasn't for
them standing against if it wasn't forHouse Freedom Caucus standing against this, it
would already be done. If itwasn't for the House Freedom Caucus, you
would already be sending more of ourtaxpayer dollars to Ukraine. If it wasn't

(01:01:31):
for the House Freedom Caucus, we'dalready have the college loan forgiveness, aka
were subsidizing everybody else's college education whilestruggling to pay our own bills in a
high inflation Biden economy. If itwasn't for the House Freedom Caucus, there
would be a lot of hell topay. So I think that doing stupid

(01:01:52):
ultimatums like this for the sake ofpolitical theater are just that it's just stupid.
And it's unnecessary. There's just noreason at all to do it.
I don't know. I just hasgot to stop. No, this is
Johnson reacting audio somebody seven. Thisis what he had to say to that.
Listen. No, I have ajob to do. We all have
to do our jobs. Marjorie TaylorGreen is very upset about the lack of

(01:02:13):
oversight over the funding and the lackof an articulation of a plan, as
am I, all of us many. She doesn't care about a plan.
She doesn't want any Ukraine funding period, no matter what the White House says
the plan. I understand that.Yeah, I've talked with her about it
personally at great length, and she'smade her position very clear. We have
to do our job. We haveto continue to ensure that recovering all these

(01:02:34):
spaces, and we'll see how allthis shakes out. Yeah, it was
super editorial. I don't like itwhen I hear people that's like a that
was a trip for her. Idon't like it when people jump in editorializing
like that because it just sounds likea YouTube commenters. I just don't not
like you guys in the YouTube discussion, you know what I mean. Like,
first, first, it's always onsome viral video and everyone's like losing
their minds. But that's kind ofwhat she had that energy, like,

(01:02:57):
well, you know, she doesn'twant any plan that's not necessarily true.
This is not that one, thisis not the one that. But I
just think those kind of ultimatums aredumb. And I'm gonna tell you something.
You're gonna need every vote you cangoing into November. You know you're
gonna need every single vote possible.I'll I'm gonna add this to as it
relates to all the primary stuff, because I'm looking to see. I want

(01:03:20):
I like the process to play out. I like to see I want to
see what happens, you know inNew Hampshire and in South Carolina and all
this stuff. And we, yes, we our in our system, we
spend money on primaries. I preferhaving the voters. I look, I'm
a voter in Texas. Forgive meif I just don't think that twenty percent
of the registered Republicans in a lowturnout primary in Iowa get to get to

(01:03:45):
have their say and the rest ofus don't. I think as many people
as possible should get to have theirsay in the primary I don't like the
people or I don't like the argumentthat some people are making that, oh,
well, one race, everybody's let'sgo. We got to reset at
the table. Everyone should everybody,as much as many as possible should be
able to have their say in thisquick cutting out voices that's anti republic.

(01:04:12):
Stop cutting voices out. Now,I'm watching. I'm gonna watch and see
how this goes all the way throughNew Hampshire and South Carolina. Maybe it'll
go to Super Tuesday, maybe itwon't. But I'm gonna tell you this,
the ultimatums and stuff that Republicans arethrowing out to each other and throwing
out you know, everybody else andall of this. Uh. And I'm
looking at a couple of these otherraces, like there's this there's this one

(01:04:34):
race that I'm seeing where Bob goodis. Uh, he got well.
Taylor Green also blasted him. MarjorieTaylor Green blasted he's the House Freedom Caucus
chair. She called him a disloyalMaga trader because he had endorsed Ron Decantis

(01:04:55):
after Iowa. I don't like this. This is tribalism. Get unity by
targeting good conservatives, electable conservatives,in winnable seats out of vengeance over an
endorsement. It is I'll say thisone time. It is not the voter's

(01:05:15):
responsibility to bring unity. It isthe candidate's responsibility to bring unity. And
you will not bring any unity bytargeting good conservatives, electable conservatives in winnable
districts as vengeance over an endorsement. Now, you can't destroy your best representatives

(01:05:45):
because those are the people you aregoing to need. Those are the people
that will have the spines of steelto get your vision across. Those are
the people that won't cave. Thoseare the people that will take the arrows
for the limited government policies. Whyyou would forsake those people Some of the

(01:06:09):
strongest warriors is beyond. But that'snot unity, and it's not the voter's
responsibility to bring unity. It's thecandidates. Now that being said, we
got Florida man to roll in two. It's his life mission to make bad
decisions. It's time for Florida Man. So a Florida man caught stealings was

(01:06:38):
caught stealing a surveillance camera that wasset up to prevent stealing. It's Marion
County, Florida, deputies are lookingfor the man they say stole a surveillance
camera set up to prevent theft ata construction site. The unidentified man went

(01:07:00):
to a home that was under construction, stole the camera worth about three hundred
fifty five dollars and they I meanhe's literally right there on the footage,
and they go, well, it'sunfortunate that he stole the camera, but
it did its job. But theredon't know who he is. They're trying
to identify him, and so thereyou go. That's you're supposed to call

(01:07:23):
crime stoppers if you know who theguy is really just uh oh man,
a Florida man twenty years old yellscatch the kid and throws a toddler from
a second story window during a custodyargument. His name is Cadrum Coleman.
Jimminy Christmas. I thought Monty outlawfrom yesterday was. He was charged with

(01:07:48):
custody interference and child neglect. Helegit threw a one year old out of
a second story window. It wasin tarp and springs. He grabbed the
toddle of the row him out tosomeone waiting below and he yelled, catch
the catch the kid. According towitnesses. Thankfully, the child was caught
and unharmed. According to Pasco Kindof Sheriff's Office, he put the child

(01:08:10):
into his sister's vehicle and then hetried to flee the scene, but he
was located at his mom's house bydetectives. Sheriff's office says that he had
not taken the necessary steps to provethat he was the kid's father. Oh
boy, it's one of those.Let's see that. He was arrested in
one kind of interference with custodies, child neglect and injury. He's in Landa
Lakes, that butterplace, but thisis prison. No butter there, although

(01:08:31):
they might want some. It's ajoke. Sh no, no, why
why this one? He looks likehe would do this crime. A thirty

(01:08:53):
two year old Kane just did thisto me on purpose? Hang on.
A thirty two year old al Floridaman has been arrested for stabbing a man
multiple times after after what he engagedin some solo romance in front of the

(01:09:16):
guy bad he stabbed. I commendyou. The stabbing occurred after the suspect,
identified as Devin Cooper, approached thevictim while the victim slept in a
parking garage stairwell. The situation escalatedwhen Cooper decided to perform solo romance and

(01:09:43):
the victim was like, go away, and then Cooper stabbed the victim multiple
times and stole his backpack. Thepolice recalled, Cooper was arrested. He
yeah, he had a knife andclearly he did it, and so he's
in the He's escalated quickly, YeahI did. I mean, you don't
want to watch then? Oh Istab you. I don't know, this

(01:10:05):
is crazy. I was. There'snothing I can say that everything is going
to go sideways if I continue withus. Actually did a great job.
I thought it was really going tofail horribly. Oh I did too,
believe believe. I'm like, don'tfail me now, brain like, let's
you. And last, but notleast, a Florida woman is She's pled
guilty to smuggling guns to Haiti. What a Lande Tunis of Pompino Beach has

(01:10:30):
pled guilty to forty eight count indictment. She went to uh, she went
to jail. She was apparently ina weapon's smuggling conspiracy case and she was
helping to coordinate the arm kidnapping ofseventeen missionaries. Apparently in October twenty twenty
one, she was smuggling helping tosend guns to Haitian gang members. That

(01:10:53):
is crazy in Florida Pompino Beach. You just never know with people, you
know what I'm saying, like, you just never know. Oh my gosh.
All right, this is what wegot coming up. I still think
Monty Outlaw banned that name. Itwas his actual name. His actual last
name was Outlaw. All right,So coming up, this is what we
got for you. We got CongressmanThomas Massey, who's going to be joining

(01:11:15):
us later on in the program. We also have this latest on the cr
the immigration fight, and the DanielPenny caase. Because it's not just that
the Second Amendment is I've always beenunder defense. That's always been just a
stepping stone to what the end goalis, which is to stop and criminalize
all self defense any form. Wegot that more stick with us are trying

(01:11:42):
to well, when you stay workingthere they stopping. So so what I
got a question? So why then? Okay, that was Biden. He

(01:12:05):
was That's the only time they're goingever ask him questions is if they chase
him down as he's exiting a ChopperMarine one and then he kind of answers,
welcome back to the program, Danialast year with you always good to
be with you. Top of thisthird hour. We got Congressman Thomas Massey
coming up later on in this samehour. Yeah, the oh no they're
not working. Wow? What isthat like a day of I don't know?

(01:12:28):
Is that honesty? Is I feellike that meme? Is that honesty?
I don't know? Is it?I? Yeah? Okay? Just
uh so then what is the point? What's the point? Would like to
know this? I mean, we'vehit them. It's it's been called his

(01:12:50):
whack a mole, whack a molestrategy. And whether or not because it
was what fourteen missiles that they werepreparing to launch, I they fired the
Houthius had fired an anti cruise,an anti ship cruise missile at the USS

(01:13:10):
laboon that was that was the onethat I think was intercepted. And then
they hit a container ship with antiship ballistic missiles. And then they hit
the US owned Marshall Islands flagged containershipJenco Pacarty with a suicide drone. So
some of the merchant ships like theway Sentcom writes about them some of them

(01:13:33):
are they say that they're like USowned or US operated. Because it's this
thing between the United States and theMarshall Islands. I guess the relationship there
I was looking at. In fact, there was a piece that was on
Red State that was looking at therelationship between the Marshall Islands and US and

(01:13:57):
pooflies what and all that stuff? Can I just can I ask a question
though, while we're talking about thehooty thing and the container ships, Kane,
if you what department would the shippingstuff fall under? Probably transportation?
Yeah, where's that DoD at PootyJuice? Yeah, ah, that's a

(01:14:19):
good question. I don't watch MSNBC, so I don't really know. Has
anybody who looked at whole foods?Have they looked at whole foods? Have
they? Two? Attention shoppers?Have they done that yet? Attention shoppers?
Yes, sir, we would appreciateit if Secretary Mayor poot Booty Juice

(01:14:41):
would come to customer service, please, Secretary Mayor new Mom poot Pooty Juice,
thank you. You have to addthe little beep in there so they
know the transmissions over where's he at? Though? Because we haven't. It's
been what a week? And thisspecifically relates to shipping, which is the
Department of King Transportation. You know, does that mean so I would guess

(01:15:10):
that I would guess that the responsibilityof those people involved in that would fall
under that jurisdiction. Right. Feelslike he's ill prepared for this moment.
So what is this? I mean, what are they? And look,
I do think when you're literally sendingmissiles and suicide drones at our ships that

(01:15:36):
we operate, yeah, you areactually targeting American inserts. This is some
barbary pirate stuff. I get it. But the response, what is the
goal of the response? I mean, isn't there supposed to be one?
Or is it just like oh yeah, and then a missile like what you

(01:15:59):
know? What is the Is itto scare them into knocking it off?
Because I don't think that that's happeningif they're still sending over missiles. I
don't. I'm not like I'm notmaking a statement here there, I'm just
seriously, it's it is as transparentas what you what you're seeing this ass

(01:16:21):
What is what is the what isthe goal to are the do we think
that we're they're going to go up. Well there's another right we better stop?
Is that it? I don't knowwhat is the strategy because you had
a big attack on the eleventh, and that was leaked to the media.

(01:16:43):
There was a I mean, wecarried out why was there more anger directed
towards the action we took of carryingout strikes against the hoho Thies. Then
there was at the Hohothies for literallysending a barrage of rockets and suicide drones

(01:17:04):
and missiles at literal US operated merchantvessels. Anybody where are those people then?
And it goes back as far asNovember? Oh yeah, does it?
Oh yeah, no it didn't.Didn't hear anything from him about that.
This is why I'm like, well, look, what is what is

(01:17:25):
the point here? What is theso we've carried out, you know,
strikes against this? But Biden seemsto I mean, good agree, Biden
is am I on this. TheSEC deaf was out. I mean,
for the love, this is gettinga little ridiculous here at this point.
But I don't think that clearly whatthe response from the administration is. And

(01:17:46):
I'm not saying I'm I'm not awar inc I'm not. But I just
feel like there's what is the whatis the strategy? Because they're clearly still
doing it and the Red d isstill not a safe place for commercial traffic
because people, I mean you,why are we providing security to not just

(01:18:09):
our US operated ships but now likeevery other every other entity out there that's
going in the Red Sea would dependon us the United States protecting their vessels
too, And you can't detect everysingle rocket that the Huthi want to shoot
off. So what's the I mean, they've been able to actually disrupt energy

(01:18:30):
supply, they've been able to disruptactual shipping out of Red Sea, and
they're on pace for all of it. So what is the goal for their
response here? Has that ever beenI don't think that's been ascid any of
the press conferences. I don't thinkit has what's their goal because clearly this

(01:18:54):
isn't working. It is, likeI said, it was described as a
whack a mole strategy, So Idon't know. I oh, gosh,
Biden says, the air strikes aregoing to continue, so we're just gonna
strike them, and then they're gonnastrike us back, and then we're going
to strike them and they're going tostrike us back. Has that? But
has it opened up red Sea?That's my point. I just I feel

(01:19:17):
like there needs to be more clever, a cleverer response here, just you
know now in the meantime, notjust with that. Greg Abbott in court,
he won in a court of appealsover the Booies. You remember the
Booees, the floating little barrier thatthey had. It wasn't in the hole
of the rio. It was insome of the parts where shallow enough where

(01:19:42):
people could just kind of walk across. And they were trying to tell Abbot,
you've got to remove the Booies. They were trying to force them to
do it. They couldn't actually goin there and cut them like they were
doing the wire fencing and all thisstuff. So they had in December a
court ruled against Abbot and in orderthat to force him to move the barrier
from the river. And by theway, the barriers aren't permanent. You

(01:20:02):
can move them as you need to. And then the court granted Abbot's requests
this is Houston Chronicle for a rehearingof the case with the entire Fifth Circuit
instead of a three judge panel. That made the initial call, so he
gets to keep the buoie barrier inthe water through May. The new hearing
isn't scheduled until May. This hasbeen since summer. And remember they put

(01:20:26):
the buoys up. The Army CorpsEngineers was like, you didn't ask us,
and Texas was like, and sothey they're like, the Federal Rivers
and Harbor's Act means we've got toget involved in Texans are like, our
tax dollars paying for all of thismeans we trump you move on. It
doesn't. And the DJ was like, it poses a risk to navigation,
Shut up, it does not.It literally doesn't you know what poses a

(01:20:48):
risk to navigation? All of theillegal immigrants that are going across the river
because you won't shut the damn border, you freaks. That's what it is.
And it's only at specific points.I mean, do they not realize
that a lot of the points wherethere is no navigation going, sorry,
there's no big navigation going through partsof the rio where they had deployed some
of these barriers. There just isn'tbecause it was so shallow. If it's

(01:21:10):
so shallow that you're walking across itunless you're canoeing or you're in a little
raft. What do they think thatyou're sending a vessel through there? They
think that you're stupid Jiminy Christmas soDHS Warren Texas too, stop interfering with
our access at the border. Sothey're firing off letters back and forth.
Ken Paxton sent his own letter outand he was like, take your season,

(01:21:31):
desist and kram it and he goes, facts in law are on the
side of Texas. Wait did saykramit. That wasn't his official response,
but if I distilled it all down, it would have been that, you
know what I mean. He says, the facts and law side with Texas.
The state's going to utilize constitutional authorityto defend her territory, et cetera.
And he's right. And that wasthey were trying to send a C
and D after they were trying toplay up the drowning immigrants story in the

(01:21:55):
Rio, and it was the base. It was on the basis of that
lie, which is another reason Iwas I'm so angry at this. It
was on the basis of that fraudulentclaim that they based their demand for C
and D. And Pakstan was like, that's not even what happened. And
said no. So they they're soreally ultimately, Texas lawmakers are doing Biden's

(01:22:20):
job and they're mad about it.I've never seen so mad at people who
do their work for them. Theyshould say thank you, like, you
know, maybe send a thank yougift. Right, That's like that,
That's what normal people do. Nowin the meantime, really quickly, going
back to the Iran situation, Iso I this was last night because that

(01:22:45):
I I wasn't last night or theother night that I saw this. Let
me pull this story up because thiswas an AP story that I had and
I wanted to. So apparently, the situation with Pakistan and the border with
Pakistan in Iran, there has beenyou know, they've been everybody's been closely
watching this, right, and therewas h of I guess, I don't

(01:23:10):
know what you a rocket attack.Iran launched attacks. They said that they
were targeting terrorists in Pakistan and apparentlyit killed two children, and so Pakistan
return fire with its own air strikesinto Iran. This is my the AP.

(01:23:31):
It says, Pakistani retaliatory strikes inIran kill at least nine, raising
tensions along that border. So theconflict is spilling out. It's this between
Iran and Pakistan, and this isongoing as Iran's also funding Hasballah and the
Huthis and Hamas and they are behindall of this disruption. I was the

(01:23:56):
Sadies would just slap them down andbe done with it, and so they
are, and they're having unrest intheir own theocrisy too. The ap noted,
I'm gonna put this story. Thisis a really fascinating look because there's
a lot of moving parts in thein the story. But so now you
have because they are nuclear powers, you know they're super smart about it too,

(01:24:17):
I'm sure and definitely not. Ohman, this could be super bad.
I'm just saying it could be bent. And now all of the news
you would probably miss. It's timefor Dana's Quick five. So I just
heard that the new terminal list,Dark Wolf, that's going to begin production
early this year on Prime Video fromour friend Jack car. They just announced

(01:24:38):
that Polly Shore is going to playRichard Simmons in a new biopic. I
honestly cannot think of a more perfectcasting. Oh my gosh, he's totally
gonna sweat to the oldies. He'sgoing to play Richard Simmons in this new
biopic. It's in development at WarnerBrothers. Uh well, there's they're a

(01:25:01):
subsidiary of Warner Brothers, and Simmonsdisavout it case. He's apparently really reclusive,
and he goes he never gave hispermission for it, but then I
don't need it. So it's calledthe Court Juster. That's a well that
follows a short film that was titledthat the premiered at Sunday, and so
this is uh yeah, it's gonnabe by have a polyshore in it.
I actually would see this. Iwould go see a polyshore on us.

(01:25:21):
I really would. Yeah. Afederal judge has blocked Jet Blues three point
eight billion acquisition of Spirit Airlines.Isn't Spirit the one that all the fights
happen on? It's like the waffleHouse of the air is it? All
the flights on Jet? All thefights on Jet Bluetoo? Really? Oh
look at that? Anyway, therethey're a merger was blocked. This is
oof. Planes collided at an airportin Japan during wintery weather. It looked

(01:25:45):
really a bad. A Korean planeclipped the wings of a of another jet
at an airport in their northern islandof Hokkaido on Tuesday amid heavy snow,
and that comes right after a fatalaircraft collision in Tokyo. No injury were
reported in this collision. It wasat occurred around like five thirty pm,
but it was sold you know, dark out, and there was you know,

(01:26:06):
there was snowy. Airport safety issueshad been under scrutiny since that fatal
accident at their airport in Tokyo. But the flight they had to cancel some
flights after that because obviously clipped thewings and you got chaos on the tarmac
and everything else. So goodness. Also this speaking of collisions here, a

(01:26:27):
collision of two planes in Chicago hassparked an FAA investigation. A plane taxiing
for departure clipped another aircraft at Chicago'sOhair This was on Sunday, according to
the FAA. Again, no injuries. Both were bowing. I don't know
if that has anything to do withit. Do you think it was if
both were bowing, It sounds likepilot air FA says they're going to investigate

(01:26:49):
the incident where they were they womendrivers pilots. It was so yeah,
they've had that happening. I wonderif it look I'm not going to say
it, but you know you're allthinking I'm not going to say it.
I'm just saying it because it's allin your head and you thought it and
you didn't mean to think it.But I mean, is this, you
know, like the women hire one? Is this? Are we going to

(01:27:09):
see more of this? Of theirstudies that have been done on it.
I just I got a lot ofquestions. I got a lot of questions
pertaining to this. I'm just justsaying, all right, we got more
to com Congressman Thomas Massey joins usnext, stay with us, whether you're
a policy wonk, a news junkie, or simply someone hungry for insightful discourse
that Dana Show podcast as you're back, follow Dana on Apple, Spotify,

(01:27:31):
or wherever you get your podcasts. Why are you repeating this false claim that
Republicans voted to reduce the number ofwarder patrol agents even though the Washington Post
gave the administration three pinocchios for that, So we don't believe it's a false
claim. Our statements were very directhere last year House GOP voted, voted

(01:27:53):
and not only did they vote forit, but they touted they touted their
Limit Save Grow Act. That's thewell and they limit they they voted for
and touted it. Right, thisis an act and this would have forced
the elimination of two thousand border patrolagents. That's what this act that they
touted, that they voted for. That's not in the House. So that

(01:28:16):
was their proposal and that was whatthey voted for back in May. I
actually have learned something here. I'mgoing to start using that tactic anytime someone
says something that is inconvenient for meand is based in fact, I'm just
going to simply say, well,we you know, we just don't believe
that to be true. We justdon't know it's that was Curin, Jean
Pierre or Kareem Johnson, depending onyou know, who you want to believe

(01:28:39):
and how they introduce her. Welcomeback to the program, Dane last year
with you bottom of the third hour. You can listen coast to coast watch
the simulcast the video component of theradio program as well check out the podcast.
Joining US now, Representative Thomas Masseyfrom the beautiful state of Kentucky.
He's in d C pray for him. He's in d C. He's been
there doing the Lord's work and hejoins us now via skype congres But it's

(01:29:00):
good to see you. I justwanted to kind of get your little quick
reaction to that. She just youknow, that's not her truth. Oh
you know, just make it up. Just fake it until you make it
is their motto, I guess. And by the way, I you know,
I'm trying to do the Lord's work. I don't think anything we are
doing here, uh this week theLord would approve of my gosh, say

(01:29:25):
that I love that. She's gonnakeep that sound by for forever. Something
that could be said about that. With DC. Uh, we this this
big fight at the border. Iknow that there's there's this back and forth
over we've got the c R.There's there's demands for properly funding the border,
but then that's also met with demandsfrom the left that's well, we've
we've got to all we've got.We have to fund more of what's whatever

(01:29:45):
we're funding. I don't think weactually have a tally of what we're paying
for in Ukraine. Uh. ThisI just don't know how much longer Democrats
are gonna think this is tenable forthe administration or for really all of these
bor towns. We had two hundredand ninety thousand plus come across the border.
As you know, Congressman, justin the month of December, cartels
are making thirty five what is it, thirty five million dollars just off a

(01:30:09):
one two hundred and forty five milestretch of the border. I mean,
this is I mean, does somebodygetting a cut in DC? I mean,
I'm trying to figure out why thishasn't been done. This seems like
an easy win for Democrats. Itwould be a win. I mean,
you would think in an election yearBiden when want to handle the most pertinent
issue in front of us, It'salmost like we'd be doing him a favor
to take care of the border andto shut it down leading up to the

(01:30:31):
election because he could take credit forit. But you know that's they can't
do the right thing even when itwould suit them better than the wrong thing,
and so they want to keep overrunningthis country with illegal aliens. I
know that in the Senate they're forgingahead on this border bill. There's been
a lot of a lot of backand forth. It seems bad. What

(01:30:53):
I've read, it seems like worsethan what we have. I you know,
I just looked over the bullet pointsagain. It looks like an amnesty
bill. Basically, it's like twentyeighteen Part two. Yeah, it's you
know, and that's the problem. You know, Paul Ryan had an amnesty
first wall second type of funding billthat they kept trying to get the president

(01:31:13):
to do and eventually did we needto put the wall first and then maybe
we can talk about those other things. But frankly, we need to start
deporting people or else it's still justanother magnet. Imagine, you know,
you pay five thousand dollars to coyoteto come over here. It's like your
life savings, and then you getsit back to the place you started.

(01:31:33):
That only needs to happen a fewtimes. And people aren't going to spend
that money or take those risks totheir lives to get here if they end
up where they started. Is taxingthe remittances or at least doing something to
be able to recoup is this something? I mean, how easy would this
be able to pull off? Inthe House. I think there'd be an
appetite for it. This is somethingthat Ron DeSantis is mentioned on the trail.

(01:31:56):
You know, I've been campaigning withhim in South Carolina, Iowa,
and I'm sure Trump said he wouldget you know, Mexico to pay for
the wall, and then when hegot elected, he said, I'm sorry,
there's really no way to do that. But there is a way to
do that. And Rhonda Santa says, you just tax the remittances. I
think we could get it done.I would let oh, that would be
that would be great to get thatdone, have that forced multiplayer at the

(01:32:18):
southern border. I want to talkmore about what's going on DC really quickly
about the about their primary. Wehad the Iowa results, and I always
tell people, look, let thisplay out because everyone, I think as
many people deserve to have their voicesheard in this as possible. I just
don't think it's very representative of ourrepublic to just say, like, okay,

(01:32:41):
only Iowa's get to have their say. And even then it was kind
of low turnout. I mean, one hundred and fifteen twenty percent of the
registered voters, half of that halfthe delegates going into New Hampshire and South
Carolina. I mean, whatever whatends up happening will happen. But I
think as many people should play intothis as possible, and not fewer people.
Your thoughts, Yeah, you know, I think what we learned in
Iowa and what we're going to seein New Hampshire is that until this becomes

(01:33:02):
a head to head race, it'sgoing to be hard for anybody to compete
with Trump when you've got three orfour or even two people splitting the vote
against an incumbent. By the way, he got barely fifty percent. This
is not a good sign for somebodywho's effectively the incumbent Republican president to barely
get fifty percent, and that's probablyabout where the polls show that he is

(01:33:25):
in New Hampshire. I think thishas got to become a head to head
race now. Ron De Santis wassecond in Iowa. Nikki Haley said that
she would be second, and herDemocrat donors were relying on her to come
in second. Now, she alsotold them that she was going to win
New Hampshire, and I think ifyou know, when she drops that ball
ultimately, because she's not going towin New Hampshire, she's not competing in

(01:33:46):
Nevada, She's not even going toget a single delegate there because she's not
competing in those caucuses. And thenwhen you go to South Carolina, she's
not going to win her home state. I think her corporate donors and her
Democrat donors are going to say,oh, wait, you told us you
were going to deliver and you haven't. I think at that point it becomes
a head to head race and avery clear choice between the most successful executive

(01:34:10):
in my lifetime in government, RonDeSantis and President Trump, who promised a
lot of things and didn't deliver. One of the things we're talking with Representative
Thomas Massey. One of the thingsthat I've been sort of getting the getting,
you know, all the listeners andthe people who are watching the simulcast
accustomed to is that, you know, it is a marathon, it's not
a sprint to the finish, andit's a delegate race, but it's also

(01:34:33):
a race of survival. And youmentioned, you know, she's not even
competing in the caucuses in Nevada, but she has the cash flow, which
she's expected to pick up quite abit. In Texas, they have the
Bush wing, the robes, allof the literally the entire establishment people that
I protested against back in the earlydays when helping to co found the Tea

(01:34:54):
Party in two thousand and eight. Those individuals are helping to finance her Campaign's
got back to back fundraisers coming upin Texas. I mean, talk a
little bit about that, because thatgoes a long way, regardless of how
many delegates you're picking up. Yeah, if she can't put gas in the
tank, you can't go forward.I mean, ultimately, that's what Iowa

(01:35:15):
and New Hampshire do. It takesa lot of money to get through those
states, and it was always thecase that Ron DeSantis and Nicky Haley and
Trump were the only ones who weregoing to be able to make it past
these first two states. I dothink she set expation expectations too high and
that her donors brought into a planthat's not materializing. She said she would

(01:35:38):
take out Ron and Iowa didn't happen. She said she would take out Trump
in New Hampshire. Not going tohappen. She's not going to compete in
Nevada, and she's not going towin South Carolina. I think her donors
are going to have are going tolook at that and say, hmm,
I don't know. And meanwhile, coming out of Iowa. I think Trump
has twenty dollar against Ronda Santis hasnine and Nicky Haley has eight. Those

(01:35:59):
are rough numbers and they could possiblyget assigned differently. And that's less than
two percent of the delegates, right, and you're going to have You're still
going to be at less than threepercent of the delegates when you come out
of New Hampshire. It's very early, you know. Personally, I would
like to see Kentuckians have a sayin who the nominee is going to be
and we go after Super Tuesday. So we're used to having the final say,

(01:36:25):
but a lot of times it's saidbefore we get there. So at
least let's see this through to SuperTuesday. That's my opinion. People deserve
a choice. We shouldn't coorinate. You know, the last candidate who frankly
lost to Joe Biden. Do wewant to rematch. I don't believe these
polls, by the way, thatshow, you know that Trump is beating
Joe Biden in these purple states. If that is true, wait until the

(01:36:46):
Democrats turn or the media, Ishould say sometimes the same thing, Wait
until they turn on Trump and thenit becomes about his issues. They want
a campaign on his issues. Ronde Santis, once the campaign on the
people's issues going forward, we shouldbe looking forward, not in the rear
view mirror. No, I thinkthat's a I think that's a very good
point. I share your perspective onthis. I'm like I usually like Super

(01:37:10):
Tuesday because it is a delegate raceand a lot of people look at percentages.
But it's hard when not every state'swinner take all. Some are awarded,
you know, proportionately, you know, to the win, et cetera.
I want to move on here becausewe've got a whole bunch of other
stuff to hit. We were talkingabout the talking about the border. Uh.
We were also getting into I wantedto bring this up really quickly,
the surveillance now this Uh Jim Jordan, Congressman Jim Jordan, and I know

(01:37:34):
others and House Judiciary Committee. Theysent this letter to the former Director of
the Office of the Long le Ohgosh. This titles Long former Director of
the Office of Stakeholder Integration Engagement, blah blah blah, basically saying Treasury Department.
The search terms in merchant category codescoming up everything from zell to Bible

(01:37:56):
to I mean they would even touchon former you know, Paul, former
lawmakers like even Trump everything that wouldsomehow flag They've done this to firearms LLCs
two. They've done this to gunstores as well. From what I understand,
this kicked off in January before Bidenasoomed office in twenty twenty one.

(01:38:16):
Are we now only just finding outhow far this went and why is that?
Yeah, this is something we justuncovered. I'm on the Judiciary Committee
and I'm also on the Weaponization Committee, which is a select subcommittee, and
Jim Jordan and I we started pullingon this string that we found from January
sixth, where a whistleblower who workedat the FBI told us that they had

(01:38:40):
the FBI asked the Bank of Americato basically do a dragnet through all of
their database of their customers, findanybody who had purchased a gun anywhere in
the United States not constrained to acertain period of time at using a Bank
of America card, and then whowas present on January January sixth at the
inauguration. Later they were doing thisdragnet, they weren't investigating suspects, they

(01:39:05):
were trying to create suspects out ofall Americans who have a Bank of America
card. Now, they also askedother banks to do this without a warrant.
This is the key thing. Nowarrant, no probable cause, no
reasonable suspicion. Even they're just castinga net through all of the customer data

(01:39:25):
records. So and they also askedbanks other banks to do this. But
we do know from Bank of Americaadmitted to us that they did comply with
the FBI's request. Now, aswe pulled on that thread, we found
what you're talking about. They wantedto establish these tags and even like the
names of I won't give them advertisementhere on your show. With the names
of sporting goods stores, if youshopped at different sporting goods stores, you

(01:39:49):
would you know, they wanted totag you to you know, identify extremists,
radicals, lone wolves. Ridiculous becauseit America. You know, I
feel bad giving out gift cards atChristmas to these sporting goods places. I
just tagged all of my family.Oh, you did well in a lot

(01:40:10):
of these places. That's where that'sthe big store you go to. I
mean, my family's in southern Missouri. That's like, those are the big
stores you go to. That's likethe biggest some of the biggest retailers are
around unless you want to drive youan hour and a half or two hours
north to a J. C.Penny. I will say that one because
that was the that's the big one, right, you know. And yeah,
I didn't have time to shop thisyear. I've been busy in Congress,

(01:40:31):
so I was like, well, let's get them gift cards and they
can buy guns or Ammo or whateverthey want. That's the other thing,
you know, by the way,on the trail, uh. You know,
Ron's been talking about central bank digitalcurrencies and so have some of the
other candidates and eliminating those the needto and we've been accused of being conspiracy
theorists that, oh, you're sayingthey want to, you know, do

(01:40:54):
central bank digital currency so that theycould check your social credit score and track
that you buy too much, youput too much gas in your car,
whereas we that's actually already going on. That's what you know, Jim Jordan
and I and others on the judiciarycommunity are discovering it's already going on.
The central bank digital currency just givesthem an off switch when they you know,
where they could just after they've decidedthat you've spent too much on these

(01:41:16):
things, they could turn it off. Wow, there's a lot, and
I know you're still pulling on thatstring, and hopefully we can get Is
there a way to just real, real quick? Last question? Is there
a way to stop this? Like? How can this be? How can
we protect consumers? You know, they claim what they're doing is legal.
They're going to try to claim thatthey're using uh, you know laws that

(01:41:39):
were supposed to this is the ironylaws that we're supposed to protect your financial
data. But written into those lawsare loopholes. So I do think we
need legislation in the Judiciary Committee andhopefully we can bring that to the floor
now that we know. Now thatwe know what they're doing with the existing
laws, we need to change themand make it explicit you cannot do this.
I'm so glad they all found thatand have been on it. Of

(01:42:00):
course, we knew the guy whomade his own debt clock to terrify us
all every single time we see him. You guys were talking on break about
how many how many a minute? And I can't even deal with it.
I'm already gonna have nightmares. Tonight. This thing tallies up every Oh yeah,
it's a trillion dollars every one hundredand forty days. It's eighty five
thousand dollars a second. The ratehas just gone through the roof. And

(01:42:23):
you know, this summer. Here'swhat I don't like about the deal that's
in the House right now. Thissummer. We agreed to raise the debt
limit and in exchange for spending capsand spending cuts. And now there it's
like the White House and the Senatehave buyer's remorse and they're trying to renegotiate
the deal. I don't think weshould. I think we should hold under
the caps this summer. Yes,sir, I agree completely, and I

(01:42:44):
think it's the right way to go. Representative Thomas Massey, so appreciate your
fight. So appreciate it. Thankyou, my friend. We'll talk again
soon. Follow Dana on Apple,Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts,
because knowledge is your ultimate superpower.More than one to ten of you
reminded me that I never actually updatedyou over the Owl story. We're gonna

(01:43:06):
deep dive on the Daniel Penny storytomorrow and the compare and contrast that these
two cases so you have that tolook forward to for tomorrow. The owl
thing, he's in there sometimes andhe's not, and I'm just I'm just
assuming this bird's gender because he justlooks I don't know. I mean,
he doesn't have long eyelashes, soI'm just assuming it's a boy owl anyway,
because in the cartoons, all thelong eyelashes are the girls anyway.

(01:43:28):
So he's up there sometimes, butnot because we had an owl, a
screech owl in our attic and there'snot really a mess up there and he
hasn't destroyed anything. So I'm feelinglike I'm okay with that, but I
don't want anything else to get instill too wintery, Wait till it's warmer,
yeah, because you have to bringlike an owl wildlife person so odd
and then you know, and thenwe have to have somebody to get on

(01:43:50):
the roof, and it's like beenway too cold for that and kind of
dangerous. So we're like nat Iknow, like I'm just like, okay,
keep in it. And my husbandand all the wildlife rehaber people and
all they think I'm nuts, butit's okay, that's all right. That's
the outlup date. Today's stupidity thatI just robbed you. Well, we
won't be able to play the audio, but Biden, do you want to

(01:44:11):
play it? Can you play it? All right? Go play it right
now? Play Costs they're still toohigh. But in the flesh he continues
to fall. Mortdates. You're falling, They're going to fall more. That's
false. Expect rates to actually goto you buy insure an Internet explorer.
Government spending has not stopped. Yay, yeah, because I thought that works.
Folks, That does it for ustoday. Have a great rest of

(01:44:32):
your day. I'll be back withyou tomorrow. God bless
