(00:00):
It took a long time, fourmonths of our Jewish and negotiations. They
fell off the tracks a whole bunchof times. I had to be on
the phone even at midnight saying we'vegot to keep going. Why we're to
turning points in America. This billis crucial and history will look back on
it and say, did America failitself? Why is it crucial? Well,
if we don't aid Ukraine, Putinwill be walk all over Ukraine,
(00:25):
we will lose the war and wecould be fighting in Eastern Europe in a
NATO ally in a few years.Americans won't like that. You know what,
Americans aren't going to like either.Americans aren't going to like if they
have to fight something here on ourown American shores because we had a border
that wasn't even closed. I'm sotired of having I don't give a rats
ask about what happens over there rightnow, because we have an entirely open
(00:46):
southern border and we have lawmakers whoare not at all serious about fixing it
at all whatsoever. And they dumpedthis stupid garbage bill last night, and
it is garbage, absolute garbage. There is nothing redeeming in this bill at
(01:07):
all whatsoever. It is garbage. And Chip Roy's gonna be talking to us
about it a little bit later on. I mean, I said a vera,
I said something very strong on socialmedia just a little bit ago.
Any Republican out there that is pushingthis lie that that this border bill is
in any way good for America.A border bill, by the way,
(01:30):
before any enforcement mechanism kicks in atall, whatsoever. This border bill allows
one point eight million illegal immigrants intothe country before any enforcement mechanism kicks in.
One point eight that's the minimum. One point eight before any enforcement mechanism
(01:51):
kicks in. Oh, and Ishould add that the bill also also protects
because Biden is given complete and totalauthority to suspend any enforcement mechanism. It's
literally written in the bill. Hehas the authority to suspend any enforcement mechanism
related to any kind of detainment,in, any kind of deportation, anything.
(02:16):
And in addition, you have thismassive amount of money, millions of
dollars that is being given to allof these third party government contractors that have
been aiding like Catholic charities, Sorry, but they have been they've been aiding
this. I've been to the boarder. I've seen them. I literally have
(02:39):
seen it. So there are there'ssome major problems here. Now. Some
people are saying, no, youshouldn't get hysterical and worked up over it.
Yeah, you should actually get workedup over it. And here's why.
Because we've done this I don't knowhow many years. This is the
most important domestic issue of the ofthe time right now. In fact,
(03:00):
it is an issue that's so incrediblyimportant it's affecting all other domestic policy,
and it also has an effect oninternational policy, particularly as it relates to
LNG, which we talked about indeath last week. So welcome to the
show. That's how we're starting itout today, Dana last year with you.
You can listen coast to coast. You can stream the radio program as
(03:23):
well, and you can watch thesimulcast channel thirty to forty seven direct TV.
It's a bad bill and you shouldget worked up over it. You
should get worked up over it becauseif you if you make it, if
you codify something like this where youhave one point eight million people who who
illegally enter every year at a minimumbefore any kind of enforcement kicks in,
(03:44):
do you think you're going to getthat number back down. I want you,
I want you to seriously consider this. If you're allowing one point eight
million people to enter the country illegally, do you think that after that,
if that's passed and that number isSOLIDIFU and it becomes actual law, do
you think that you are ever goingto get these lawmakers in DC to reduce
(04:06):
that number voluntarily or in any otherway. Do you think that that number
that they'll say, well, let'scome up with another bill. This amnesty
bill works so well, We've decidedto refashion an immigration bill in which we
are going to lower the number fromone point eight million. Because can you
point to me any other instance throughoutAmerican history where when government is given something
(04:32):
and they codify it and its lawand you have this set number, do
they ever go back, whether it'smonetary policy, healthcare, you know,
because that theory works so well withhealthcare, second Amendment. I could go
on. So that's why, yes, you should get worked up over it.
(04:55):
And I'm tired of everybody kicking thecan down the road. I'm tired
of it. I'm tired of seeingwhat does you know? And and the
other parts of this bill, becausethere's some there's some Republicans out there saying,
oh, no, I think you'rejust it just don't get worked up
over it. It's not anything toget word Well, that's a lie.
You should if there's one thing thatyou should, and I will tell you,
and you guys know me, Itell you frequently. Oh, this
is not something to get worked upover or this. This is actually because
(05:17):
the other part of this bill, excuse me, the other part of this
bill as it pertains to pulling allthis up here, because we we got
the as it pertains to all ofthe illegal crossings and everything else. You
got the you got the millions ofdollars that is ear marked for, like
I said, all of these thesethird government contractors. And I mean,
(05:42):
this is just a bad it's abad thing. I mean, we're not
even getting into the other stuff withUkraine and all that yet where we're still
going to do that. This isjust it's a it's a giant, giant,
horrible bill. This thing shouldn't evenbe going anywhere. There are a
lot of Republican senators that are opposingit. I mean, they may not
be able to get sixty to moveit from I don't I don't know how
honestly that they would because it's sobad. I mean the other part,
(06:06):
the other aspect of it, becauseyou have changes to the rules governing the
asylum process that fast tracks everything.Uh. And then you you have to
the other I don't know who is. You have the whole legal system that's
going to be set up to fasttrack these things, because you have to
(06:28):
then have the authority to determine oneby one which of these claims are legitimate
and which not. And then theyhave to hand them off to different judges
that are with the Immigration Services Department. And those judges, each judge in
these cases they have of I mean, they have a fair amount of uh.
(06:50):
They can they can give there, they can have discretion, they can
enact their own discretion on this.Okay. These are judges that are all
under the Biden DJ, so weknow how well that's going to go.
I mean, there's so many badthings in this thing. There's nothing redeemable
in it. Oh. And oneof the other things that was pointed out
too, is that the other aspectof this and pull this up for you
(07:14):
because there's so much here. There'sso much that they dropped this last night
because they wanted to fast track it, and they wanted to fast track it,
and they wanted to get it in. You also have green card giveaways
that have been locked in through twentythirty, and that was on page I
want to say two twelve, becausehere's the other thing on this. It
says, if the President finds thatit is in the national interest to temporarily
(07:38):
suspend the Border Emergency Authority, thePresident may direct the Secretary to suspend the
use of the Border Emergency Authority onan emergency basis. So see, that's
the power that I alluded to whenI said that Joe Biden has the authority
to suspend any and all enforcement ofthis and he can deem anything a national
emergency, as we just learned underthe pandemic. So yes, do you
honestly believe do you honestly believe thatany any lawmaker that votes to solidify all
(08:03):
of this that they would be youcould persuade them to walk it all back
in a separate piece of legislation. They want to be one and done with
us. It is. It's justa garbage, garbage bill now, Speaker
Johnson, and I just actually sawthis and pull this up. I just
saw this fly past, he's prettymuch said that it's do as. He's
(08:28):
essentially said that it's do that,it's do A And of course the US
Chamber of Commerce come absolutely once theycalled for an immediate passage of this.
We're gonna talk to Chip Roy aboutthis too when he comes on, because
this you're looking at a giveaway, fifty thousand green card giveaway. It's expanding.
When I say expanding worker visas,we're not talking about people who are
(08:48):
skilled and proficient in a in anactual particular skill where I mean, it's
just a free for all. Andof course that's what the US Chamber,
that's what they want. It's itis. This is bad bad, bad
policy, bad policy, and alot of the usual suspect Republicans are you
(09:13):
know, of course they're right onon the same page with it. Now
there's also going to pull this upbecause there's there's some giveaway, there's Ukraine
funding that's involved in this, there'sa lot of other stuff that's involved in
this. It's a the you havethis aid for Israel and Ukraine that are
(09:35):
included one hundred and eighteen point threebillion dollar deal, and that's what Schumer's
pushing. Well, you have tohave. Ukraine needs this aid. They
could have done a standalone bill. They refuse to do it. They absolutely
refuse to do it now, Johnsonsaid. Speaker Johnson said, quote,
I've seen enough. This bill isworse, even worse than we expected,
(09:56):
and won't come won't come close toindie the border catastrophe that the President has
created. He says, as thelead Democrat negotiator proclaimed, under this legislation,
the border never closes. And ifthis bill reaches the House, it
will be dead on arrival. Well, that's good it could because it should
be. Senator Langford he was theone who proposed this bill, and he's
(10:18):
been out there defending it all Imean for the last couple of days and
particularly all this morning after they releasedit last night. He's been trying to
defend himself on it. It's notgoing over very well. And Senator Dan
Crenshaw as well. There's a lotof things that I disagree with Dan Crenshaw
on and this bill is absolutely oneof them. And he was saying that
these concerns were bizarre, and hesays that you know, obviously we do
(10:41):
need new laws, et cetera,et cetera. You already, he says,
are you arguing that we need newlaws for the president to close the
border, Because that's not accurate. It's not accurate. This is bad law.
I don't fix a bad situation bypassing hurriedly bad law, dropping the
(11:03):
text in the dead of night, and then demanding that everyone get on the
same page for it as the suncomes up. That's not gonna happen.
And you can get as smug asyou want to. I'll just you know
what, I'll match your energy.Let's do that. All these Republicans that
are out there that are pushing youall into this. You know what,
today I feel like I'm a giver. I'm generous. I'm gonna match that
energy. Today. We should justcall every single one of these damned people.
(11:24):
Let's call every one of them. Why the hell not? Let's just
call everyone and be like, youwant to come and defend the steaming turd
on live radio. Let's just askthem if they want to come defend this,
this, this pile of feces onlive radio. That would be fun,
would it not? Because I mean, make them earn your taxpayer dollars.
They're your employees. Don't you wantto hear from them. I mean,
people can read. We're not illiterate. We can read this bill.
(11:48):
What do you I mean? Iactually was watching who I Where was this?
Of course I didn't link it onmy rundown like a genius. But
there was a Republican out there tosay, no, well, no,
no, that's not true. Bidenjust doesn't have the authority to suspend it.
Dude, it's page June or twelve. He absolutely does. I just
read you the passage. You know, if you want to speed read,
there's something you can just hit controloff on your Mac and it'll fly through
whatever keywords you want to. It'sactually quite easy, you know. I
(12:11):
mean you can, like, youcan speed read this stuff for certain things.
If you're looking for certain things,it's quite easy. Got Lee.
So I don't feel I don't feelthat it is too strong of a statement
to say any Republican pushing the liethat a border bill allowing one point eight
million illegal immigrants into the US beforeany enforcement mechanism is triggered and Biden has
(12:33):
the authority to suspend all enforcement. It gives millions to groups aiding the deluge,
is a trader to the people itabs they absolutely are. Like I
said, this is this is absolutelythe biggest issue that we have right now
because it's affecting every other issue, every other issue, and if they can't
(12:58):
get on the same page with it, yeah, that's you. You should
get worked up over it because youhave every right to. This is some
of the other stuff that we havecoming up today because we're we have the
latest with Iran. Of course westarted this uh uh the targeting of these
these Iranian backed militia groups that havebeen carrying on drone attacks and strikes against
(13:22):
our uh, our military. We'regoing to get into that. We've got
some twenty twenty four as well. We've got law and order, some of
the latest with those illegal immigrants thatbeat up the cop in New York.
Oh my gosh, we got allthat. We also have we're gonna talk
about some two A. There's athere's a case that is coming up and
has to do with the guy inNew York and quote unquote ghost guns.
We're going to talk about that aswell. So a lot of stuff to
(13:43):
hit today. Are partners over atPatriot Mobile. It's the only Christian conservative

it's time for Dana's quick five.Well here's another thing to be mad
at. Pablo Escovar four his hipposare now attacking people in Colombia, the
drug kingpen He's got four hippos. They've multi While he had four hippos that
multiplied into a two hundred strong herd. You know, what I learned about
(14:52):
this. I think it was onone of the Grand tours of Jeremy Clarkson.
They actually saw scars like his,his hippos, his druggy hippos.
Now it's it's a two hundred strongherd that dominates their largest river there.
It's it's insane. The Columbia Ministryof Environment they said that they've been trying
to control this population because they actuallycouldn't. They pose a threat to the
ecosystem. That's crazy. So yeah, they said that they were trying to
(15:15):
start sterilizing, but it's very dangerousbecause they've been They are like the meanest
animals out there, hippopotamuses, theyare the meanest things out there, And
of course that's what Escobar wanted. But let's see, oh sad groundhog news.
So a Kentucky groundhog kicked the bucketon Groundhog Day after it made a
prediction of an early spring. Thatgroundhog did not hang itself. Days after
predicting an early spring, major aten year old groundhog meteorologist living at the
(15:41):
Second Chances Wildlife Center kicked the bucketfrom heart issues brought on to the fact
that he was old. He wasa ten year old ground rat. Where
was the glazio? Yeah, deBlasio is somewhere around here. You know.
He reached his gruvy little hands downthere and murked it. But they
said, oh, he's at peaceeating treeslah blah blah, ringing all the
bells and la la. So atleast he did one last surface. Carl
(16:03):
Weathers has passed away age seventy sixyears old. Oh man, that's that's
a bummer because I liked him alot. He was great. I mean,
gosh, what an icon. Hewas Apollo and Pollocreene Rocky and he
was he was in the Mandalorian, which is the thing that I had watched
him before I stopped with Disney inthe last But yeah, Carl Weather's absolute
(16:23):
American icon. Seventy six years old. Let's see these So it's they're rewilding
feral pigs and donkeys rewilding. We'regoing to come back to this, revisit,
stay with us, morn store Hi. I'm Adriana, a politics major
at Hillsdale College. Here's Hillsdale President, doctor Larry Aren't with a constitution minute,
(16:48):
America's founders recognized an obvious fact oflife, human beings differ in terms
of physical attributes and talents. Becauseof this, some people will be better
at some things than they are atothers. But they also recognized that the
tall and among us, the swiftand the slow among us, are still
human beings. If we are recognizableas human beings, and therefore we are
equal in terms of the rights thatpertain to human beings, rights attached to
(17:11):
human nature, rights that come fromGod. The Decorations of Independence names three
of the big ones, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
Exercising these rights is necessary if weare to be truly free in our own
time. Many influential people believe thatonly government can decide what our rights should
be. This is dangerous. Understandingour rights and how the Constitution protects them

Dana Show, check out the besthighlights from every show and Dana's Absurd Truth
podcast posted daily from The Dana Show. Yeah, I say to Speaker Johnson,
don't let the thirty hard right peoplein the house who are extreme.
(17:56):
They wanted us to default wanted thegovernment not to pay its debts. They
wanted us to the government to shutdown. They're extremists and they're running your
show do the right thing. Idon't understand how they're extremists because they're just
simply wanting to adhere to current law. And if current law, if wanting
(18:17):
to do that is what is extreme, then your issue isn't with people.
Your issue is with the law.Senator Schumer, welcome back to the program.
Dana Lash here with you. Iexpect Democrats to push this type of
thing, but I don't expect Republicansin the House and Senate to push this
type of thing. I don't expectthem now. Thankfully Speaker Johnson has said
(18:37):
this thing is doa but that hasn'tstopped others like Crenshawn, a number of
other lawmakers from and you got inthe SENATESI hade Langford, who's in McConnell,
who Langford wrote the thing, whoare trying to say that any kind
of opposition is somehow people just gettingworked up is kind of the phrase that
I keep seeing their surrogates say.But as I said, you know,
(19:00):
it's not an exaggeration to be workedup over this. I mean, you
have the the President of the UnitedStates who is granted just by his own
discretion, the authority to suspend anykind of enforcement mechanism on this at all
whatsoever, and nothing kicks in untilyou have one point eight million people who
get here illegally, and then dodoes enforcement kick in? And when they
(19:23):
say that they've that they're upgrading theirasylum or they're how do they put it
there, uh, increasing standards fora silo, or they're raising standards for
asylum screening. Actually they're not. That's that's not what this does. What
it does is it is it actuallyincentivizes people coming in here again with kids
(19:45):
because it's only it's only sending uh, the predominantly young men who have been
coming across the border. It's goingto send them through what an extra an
extra process whoopy doo. So thatmeans like more busy work. So it
sends them through an extra process, and it expedites people who come here with
kids. So, I mean, that's the Floras Amendment just basically on steroids.
(20:07):
So you're going to incentivize people tobring kids. You're going to start,
You're going to really kick off again. You're going to see a spike
in this child trafficking, because that'sexactly what happened previously with us. That's
the whole reason. Under Obama Bidenthey began separating people at the border because
they had random strangers coming in withkids that weren't even theirs because it was
a rent a kid program that thecartels were doing. Good grief, like,
(20:30):
you're doing this again. This isasinine. I mean, this is
one of the most ridiculous pieces oflegislation to ever be seriously considered by any
Republican in Washington, DC. Imean it, It does not what you
have what ninety days that people aresupposed to be screened and then they get
a judgment within one hundred and eightydays. If you believe that I've a
(20:51):
bridge to sell you, it's amess. And they and their excuse is,
well, doing nothing isn't isn't anoption? Okay, well, doing
bad policy isn't an option either. That's a false choice that either we do
it your way or not choosing todo it this way somehow means that we're
doing nothing. I mean, there'sa number of things that we could do,
(21:12):
but nobody in DC is serious aboutit. That's the issue. So
yes, absolutely, I expect Democratsto push this sort of thing, but
I don't I do not expect Republicansto go along with it. But it
is three hundred and seventy pages releasedlast night. And oh and by the
(21:36):
way, it's actually upwards of onehundred and eighteen billion. Do you know
how much of it actually goes towardsthe border? Only twenty Only twenty billion
out of one hundred and eighteen billiongoes towards the border. They want to
give most of it actually in ado Ukraine? I know? Hm.
(22:03):
Now, Johnson says he wants aHouse vote on a clean, standalone bill
for Israel any kind of aid thatthey may be, and allow them to
buy. Israel wants to buy weapons. That's the thing. Like we're not
talking about welfare, weapon rida Israel. Israel wants to buy weapons. I
don't know why the administration has alwaysbeen skittish, you know, about doing
(22:25):
that. But yet they'll give weaponryto Ukraine and they wouldn't let They've blocked
efforts previously to allow Taiwan to purchaseweapons. We've talked to Steven Yats about
that before. It's weird It's almostlike you want your strongest allies in different
parts of the world to fail.I mean, that's the position that you
would have if that's what your intendedgoal was. Asinine. So in addition
(22:47):
to this, we have I gotto share with you some of this other
stuff. So the five people whowere here in the country illegally that were
caught on video beating to New Yorkpolice officers and then they were released without
bail. So now finally, wherehas he been? Where has Alvin Bragg
(23:08):
been? Have you wondered where AlvinBragg was? Because I kind of I
was wondering where Alvin Bragg was.Well, now Alvin Bragg has entered the
chat and he says that he wantsto track down these migrants who allegedly attacked
two New York officers. Wait, you had them in custody already, why
would And then a little bit toolittle, too late, you literally had
(23:30):
them in custody. That's where wegot the whole imagery of them going in
to get processed and he was flippingoff the camera. That's where that came
from. That video and subsequent meme, that's where it came from. I
mean, and he said he's sayingthat there's some others out there that haven't
been identified. Well, where washe at? You know what he was
(23:52):
asked on video? Do you remember? This was February third that video came
out where he was asked on camera, well, why did you release why
did you release these these illegal entrantswho attacked these cops? You release them
without bail? Why did you dothat? And he wouldn't say anything.
So now, oh, now, guys, he's real serious. He wants
to Well, they were they werearrested and charged, but they they were
(24:15):
released because with no charge over lackof evidence. That was according to police.
And that was the last Saturday whenthat happened. Now, some of
them, they think this is gonnamake you angry. Four of them that
they claim that were involved in theattack that were released without bail. Now
(24:36):
they are suspected of having fled bybus to California using a church affiliated charity.
I wonder what that is. WhatI wonder where the name of that
charity is, kin, I'm justwondering. I bet it has two names,
two words in his name. Sonow you had them though you wouldn't
have needed a that's but I feellike now he's just saying that to cover's
(24:59):
butt. He is no interesting. He just knows that they're gone. They've
skipped town. He knows that they'veskipped town. It's so stupid, This
is so dumb. Oh my gosh, this just this is the state of
our government and the individuals that werearrested. If you had wondered whether or
not they've had a record, you'reyou're correct and your suspicion. In fact,
(25:22):
so six had been had were charged, but five were released with no
bail, and police are they're stilllooking for a few others that they think
were involved somehow in this whole thing. They only had this one twenty four
year old remains behind bars, butthey said that four of the ones that
had been released with no bail, those are the ones that they think fled
to California and the I think allof them had a record, Yeah,
(25:48):
all of them had a record. In fact, the guy who is in
custody now, the twenty four yearold, he was let's see his charges
petty larceny. He stole from burgDwarf Goodman in October. He and and
he wasn't stealing bread and stuff. He was stealing luxury items. So one
(26:08):
of the reports, I said,I saw he was like he was trying
to steal like designer clothes and allthis stuff, and he stole from Macy's,
Bergdorf Goodman. Some of them hadprevious records of assault, battery.
The other guy who had stolen froma Nordstrom let's see. Yeah, so
(26:29):
the I mean, yes, theyhad all all of them had a previous
record with authorities. All of themdid, every single one of them,
every one of them. I meanit's now you have Hookee Will saying,
oh, well, you know youdon't touch our police officers. You mean
the ones that you guys wanted todefund Bright and you ran down for forever,
those those ones. Now, speakingof law and order in New York,
(26:52):
do you guys remember when Eric Adamswas talking about that robot Do you
remember that little police spot that lookedlike that gosh, I can't remember the
name of it now from Doctor Whothe little trash can with the toilet punch
the dollk. Yeah, So theyhad these robot security cops right and there
they were these weird looking wally typethings, I don't know, and it
(27:15):
said NYPD on it and It wasbasically a security camera and I think it
could talk to you in its littlerobot voice. And they unveiled a whole
fleet of them. Remember they spenta lot of money on this, and
it was going to be they putthese NYPD bots in the transit system and
the subway system and now they andand Eric Adams gave this big speech where
(27:37):
he said that there these things areare part of the fabric of our future
and all that stuff and they putthere they had Uh he he did a
photo op with it. Can westop doing the heart thing? Because I'm
so tired of us where they dothis because he did a photo where he
did it with the robot, likebut he only had one part of it
so it looked on. But uh, now they're no longer being deployed.
(28:03):
Yeah, they're not using them anymore. I love this. It says it's
unclear whether the AI program was considereda success what, but everyone talked about
these things, like crime has risenin virtually every category in New York even
after these things were deployed. Now, they leased these what they called fully
(28:26):
autonomous bots for six months for Ithink was it twelve five hundred per bot.
That's a good question than that.They called it a K five device,
and it had the NYPD colors andall of this stuff, and it
can move at an astonishing speed ofthree miles per hour. And they said
(28:49):
that the robot twelve dollars. Robotcan capture video footage but not audio,
and members of the public could pressa button to report an emergency or ask
questions. So in twenty fifteen, one of the robots knocked a baby to
the ground and ran over its feet. Then there was in DC when another
one of these robots he eated itselfinto the fountain in a sad attempt at
(29:12):
suicide. And yeah, it rolledit. So I love how it was
just described as the K five modelrolled itself fatally into a fountain. There
was some of the MTA employees said, they told the New York Post,
we don't think they're working. Theywere saying, we don't think that they're
(29:36):
actually working. They're just kind ofsitting there. It's four hundred pound egg
shape thing. They go. Oneone MTA worker said, I think it's
just as scared people. It didn'tdo it, damn thing, is what
she said. It's what she toldNew York post. This is so funny.
They're like, we need police, not robots. And it worked eighteen
hour shifts and then I had togo, I guess get charged or something
(29:56):
like that, and it just I'mactually surprised they weren't graffitied. I will
say, I you know, Iwas. I was wondering whether or not
that was gonna happen. But thinkabout this. They're leasing them for twelve
thousand, five hundred per month, and I'm assuming that's like one bot.
(30:17):
Why would you lease a bot thatcan't even record audio if somebody fell in
the tracks, It can't do anything. It's not armed, it can't do
nothing. You could for that amount, you could have two officers there,
or one really well paid, reallywell trained security guy at the busiest transit
stops. Why do you see whatI'm saying, Why that is so dumb.
(30:40):
You could have two well trained dudesand that would be a nice salary.
What in the world I mean, like not like trained like NYPD train,
Like you could have like speck updudes there. If it's that worrisome,
If you can spend twelve five hundreddollars for a stupid robot to to
to Patrol one transit system. Thenyou can one stop. Then surely you
(31:03):
could have like an actual person whocan carry a gun and can say people
if they fall in the tracks.Right, that little bot can't do anything.
God Lee people said that it wasa waste of tax payer money.
You think, all right, aswe move, I just want to go
to the range and blow some holesthrough stuff. Get my Sub two K.
I need the Gen three. No, I don't have the Gen three,
(31:26):
but I need the Gen three. The Sub two K is a gun
or a gami. The whole thingtwists. It's a nine millimeter carbine.
It's awesome. That's so innovative.I think George Kelgrin's like I'm mad in
a good way scientist. He's likeone of the nicest people I've ever met.
He just smiles. He's all veryfriendly and he he you know,
doesn't he's a man of few words, but he's super smart. He redesigned
(31:48):
this. You got the Gen threeand in the old Sub two K you
would have to take your optics offthe top, but you could still fold
the whole thing in half, whichis awesome, but you would have to
take your stuff off With the Genthree. The whole thing simple twist and
fold motion. There's this patent pendingrotating four in you can twist in either
direction, folds the whole thing rightand half with optics and all. It's
awesome and it easily deploys it justas smoothly. And they've also upgraded the
(32:12):
aluminum trigger. They redesigned the triggermechanics. You got a lightened five pound
pull, upgraded action. They gota new chamber indicator. This is it's
awesome. It's Celtech, made inAmerica, family owned values at its best.
And we need more companies like kelTech and need I need a sub
two kg and three. To learnmore about the sub two kg and three,
visit kel Tech Weapons dot com.That's k E l t Ec Weapons

dot com. Tell them Dana sentyou. Don't let FOMO get the best
of you. Stay in the loopand ahead of the curve by following data
on Apple, Spotify or wherever youget your podcasts like SAMs through the hour
Glass. So are the days ofthe United States. I really feel very
(32:57):
strongly that we each as American,Yes, we're gonna have to really dig
deep to ask ourselves what kind ofcountry do we want to live? In
one where you're not the vice presidentor intellected office. I like that kind
of world, one where we don'thave to hear about your love of ven
(33:20):
diagrams things like that. You know, just seems like something we'd like.
Welcome back to the program, Danalast year with you. Always good to
be with you. So, uhyeah, I'm just saying, you know,
a Roling feels like uh this,Uh I don't know. She's what
(33:40):
is? Can you see her makinga major policy address? Right? You
can't. You can't, Kenya,you can't because it's just not not it
sounds goofy. I My idea ofyou know, what kind of country went
(34:01):
to live in is where it's wherewe have a you know, actual enforced
border lawn where government leaves me aloneand stops taking all my money to go
and send elsewhere in and spend onentitlements for people who break into the country
and enter illegally. Things like that. You know, that's kind of what
I that's those are the things thatI like. So some of the stuff
(34:21):
that we have coming up in oursubsequent hour here, we uh have more
on the border bill. We've beendoing a deep dive into it. Bit
by bit and Democrat senators are reallypushing it. House Speaker Johnson says,
it's doa In the meantime, doyou know that while they've been complaining about
(34:45):
all of these illegal entrants coming upto New York, New York City has
launched a fifty three million dollar programto give prepaid debit cards to people who
enter the country illegally and they canspend it. And Bodega's are sorry as
what's her face? Joe Biden says, Boga does is that what she says?
How did she say it? Ican't even say it, Boduga,
(35:07):
that's even dumber Golly. Users haveto sign an affit, David saying that
they're only going to use it forlike food and supplies in that and so
it would it's New York taxpayer fundedone thousand dollars a month, no joke.
We're going to talk about that aswell, because don't you what do
you think that's gonna do? Doyou think that that's gonna incentivize more people
to come to New York or fewerpeople to come to New York. We're
(35:30):
gonna get into that. We alsohave Congressman Chip Roy He's gonna dissect this
ridiculous bill with us and a secondAmendment story that you should be aware of
because you know they can go afteryou too over something that you didn't do.
Stay with us. You want tomake sure that you know you're you've
you've got some safety. The goldira a field can seem super confusing about
(35:52):
finding uh when you're looking for likea precious metals company that you can trust.
And so gold is a good oneto turn too because everybody knows it
wasteful government spending and printing money. That's exactly how we get inflation. So
you can do what I've done, and I can add gold and silver as
a hedge against inflation with gold Co. So right now you can get their
(36:13):
free twenty twenty four gold kit andyou can learn how to possibly get at
ten thousand dollars in bonus silver, which is nice and gold Co is it's
a quality company and one of theirmost unique qualities is their education first position,
and they really provide a lot ofinformation to help you manage this whole
field. It offers a one ofa kind gold Ira kit for individual buyers.
(36:35):
It explains the economy, how allthe gold iras work, and they
want to make it easy for youto get the benefit of owning like actual
physical gold or silver. I meanthis is an overall part. It can
be an overall part of your retirementand savings strategy. They have unmatched customer
service, zero complaint record, firstrate service, no pressure, and you
can ask about their highest buyback guaranteeas well. So protect your family's financial
(36:58):
future and freedom and gets started todayat Dana likes goold dot com because I
do get your free gold kit fromgold Co and learn how to get ten
thousand dollars in bonus silver. Danalikes gold dot com. It sounds like
insanity is behind it, because itreally is offensive. Maybe the most reprehensible
thing that I've seen take place overthe past forty eight hours when you see
(37:22):
police officers in New York City beingbeaten by illegal immigrants in this country who
should not be in the country inthe first place, and then after they
engage in this crime against a lawenforcement law enforcement officer, they are let
loose back out onto the streets. What's going on in New York is outrageous.
In Americans across the entire country areangry, not just about what's going
(37:45):
on in New York, but theunderlying calls for it, which is Joe
Biden's open border Polacey. And ifyou thought that New York learned from it,
they didn't, because now they've launcheda fifty three million dollar program to
give prepaid debit cards to people whoenter the country illegally, which is going
to incentivize even more people who enteredthe country illegally to go to New York.
(38:06):
And then they're gonna have Kathy Hokleand Eric Adams complain about it,
and then they're gonna keep doing it. Welcome back to the program, Danie
last share with you top of thesecond hour. You can listen Coast to
coast. You can stream the radioprogram as well, uh anywhere we can
stream it and watch the simulcast channelthirty forty seven Direct TV. Join the
discussion at YouTube. Also find uson Facebook. Now they say the cards
(38:27):
can only be used at Bodega's,grocery store, supermarkets and convenience store.
Sorry, doctor Jill Biden calls thebodegas what caine bogs Bodegas ces Padway.
She's never gonna let that down. It's horrible. I laugh every time I
hear that. Hysterically. It justnever stops being as funny as the first
time I've heard it. And it'sone thousand dollars a month. So family
(38:50):
four can get one thousand dollars amonth taxpayer funded dollars. That's that's crazy.
One thousand dollars a month. That'spretty wild. Prepaid cards. Yeah,
but now you can only go tothose things and you got you know,
get your food and your supplies,et cetera. That's just like I
said, it's going to incentivize moreillegal entries. Oh and then the cards
(39:14):
get refilled every twenty eight days.So it's one thousand dollars per month for
a family of four, and itCaine is not happy, and they refill
them every twenty eight days. Yeah, our veterans don't even get this kind
of treatment. They don't get likenice, cushy hotel stays for unlimited periods
(39:37):
of time. They don't get that. They don't get one thousand dollars a
month. They've gone out, they'vebled for our country. They don't get
a thousand dollars a month. Thisis wild. Well, they could walk
right up to the VA and stillstill not get stand exactly. It's just
wild. The program is being runby a company called mo cuff c f
(40:00):
I, and they say it's afinancial services platform blah blah blah, and
so that's what they're So they're refillingthem and then every twenty days they refill
them and they This was literally thequote from Kayla Mamelek, who is Adam's
a spokesperson. I want you tolisten to this. Not only will this
(40:22):
provide families with the ability to purchasefresh food for their culturally relevant diets,
the pilot programs expected to save NewYork City more than six hundred thousand dollars
per month. Wait, what howis it your Wait? So you're spending
one thousand dollars perfumely every month? How are you what? So I don't
(40:45):
understand the culturally relevant diet. Ifyou wanted a culturally relevant diet, you
should have thought about that before youenter the country illegally. You don't get
to illegally enter a country and thendemand it's like me going to I'm trying
to think. Tell me, soit's like me going to Saudi Arabia and
demanding you know, Big Max,or me going to yeah, any other
(41:07):
country, any other country right,me going to Mexico and demanding taco bell
or something. I don't know,see what I'm saying. It's just so
this is so insane. I likedKane pointed out, I liked what Babylon
Bee had done because you know, with this border bill, which is a
giant piece of just giant garbage, they are saying, well, after one
(41:29):
point eight million people uh entered illegal, you know, after you know,
one point eight million people inter illegally, Uh, then uh, we're gonna
then we'll close the border. Andwhat did Babylon b say, like,
well, after one point eight millionmurders, Yeah, after five thousand murders
a day, then murder will becomeillegal. Yeah, then we'll then we'll
(41:52):
make it illegal after that. Wow. So it's just pretty pretty wild.
So this is the I no,I mean, there's no do you see
how the cycle is continued and isencouraged. I mean, I'm just if
(42:15):
you haven't read through, I meanI don't I don't anticipate that people are
gonna read. You know, theycan't read through a giant three hundred something
Paige bill that's dropped last night.I mean, you got to get up
and you got to go to workin the morning. You know, you
have to pay for all this taxpayerfunded stuff. You know, you heard
Governor Greg Abbott who said that itwas insanity to do this stuff to these
(42:39):
prepaid cards like this. Abbott saysthat Texas has sent about thirty seven thousand,
six hundred illegal immigrants to New YorkCity since August of what, twenty
twenty two, more than any othercity. But it's among more than the
one hundred and fifty thousand that havearrived because Biden's been sending people up there
as well. That's one of thethings that they won't tell you. Biden's
(43:00):
been doing this long before. He'sbeen sending illegal immigrants to these other these
other cities, you know, forquite some time. So this this border
bill, one hundred and eighteen billiondollars of which only twenty billion is actually
going to be spent on the border. The House isn't going to support it.
(43:21):
They are going They're not gonna They'rethey're gonna encourage basically the Floris Amendment
on steroids because they're going to stillexpedite people who come in with kids.
So that's the one thing that changesis that's gonna be officials. So that's
gonna that's gonna encourage the child trafficking. They said forty billion is going to
be allotted to respond to situations inUH for other foreign policies or foreign situations
(43:46):
like Ukraine, Taiwan, Israel, but only twenty billion for the border.
It is any Republican pushing this isa trader to the people. And that's
and again that's not a st sentenceto say when you consider that throughout American
history, every single time something likethis has been proposed and become law,
(44:07):
you have lost. You know,it doesn't get walked back. You don't
walk it back. You didn't getto walk back Obamacare. And that was
when we had a Republican president,a Republican House. You didn't get to
do that. It didn't happen.We didn't. We didn't see two A
infringements rolled back. We haven't seenfiscal restrictions or regulations rolled by. I
haven't seen any of this when itwhen it becomes law, it's law.
(44:30):
It's it's just garbage, absolute garbage. And then you with this too in
this bill. One of the otherthings that because there's bits and pieces,
you can speed rate it using controlleft because honestly, that's what I've been
doing, is going through and lookingat different aspects of it. One of
the other things you've got what DCfederal judges, they're giving them control over
(44:50):
immigration system. That's one of thethings that is happening with this bill.
So don't trust this, you know, the the proposal that because we're going
to have more judges and adjudicating thesecases, et cetera. No, no,
no, because you're you're giving themit's all under Biden do OJ and
you're giving them to d C DCjudges. This is this is it's just
it's a farce. It's an absolutefarce. And additionally, by centralizing a
(45:15):
lot of these decisions that are affectingmostly border states, you know, it's
Caine points out, you're you're alsoremoving state sovereignty to be able to control
what happens within its own borders.I mean, it is, it is.
This is bad. There's nothing aboutthis that's good. Bill Maluga noted
that six the sixty billion dollars inUkraine assistance in this in this bill is
(45:37):
larger than the entire budget that theUS Marine Corps requested for the fiscal year
twenty twenty four. The entire budgetthat the US Marine Corps requested for twenty
twenty four was fifty three billion. The Ukraine assistance in the Senate deal is
sixty billion. We are spending moremoney on Ukraine than we are our own
(46:00):
military. We are spending more moneyon a foreign land dispute with a weakened
Russia that, if it was goingto challenge NATO would have had no problems
in taking over Ukraine with the resistancethat it found. We are spending more
on that than we are on ourown military. That is inexcusable. So
(46:28):
no, it is. It isa slap in the face to American voters.
And it gives the DC District Courtnot just authority. And this is
one of the things I wanted topoint out, and this is it under
judicial review on this sub section.Let me just read this. This was
(46:49):
page two something says, notwithstanding anyother provision of this Act, judicial review
of any decision or action in thissection shall be governed only by the United
States District Court for the District ofColumbia, which shall have sole and original
jurisdiction to hear challenges, whether constitutionalor otherwise, to the validity of this
section or any written policy, directive, written policy guideline, written policy procedure,
(47:10):
or the implementation thereof issued by orunder the authority of the Secretary to
implement the section. So the bigsentences only by the United States District Court
for the District of Columbia. Theyhave sole and original jurisdiction. So what
does this mean. It means thatthis bill grants the DC District Court,
the far left DC District Court, absolute, exclusive, unquestionable authority over any
(47:35):
and all current and future immigration disputes. Do you trust that? Do you
want to have that be permanent law? This is what I would ask all
of these Republican lawmakers that are anyof the Republican lawmakers that are supporting this?
There seems to be few in theHouse, more in the Senate.
But do you support that? Becausethat's ultimately that's what you have. Ken
(48:02):
Paxton notes that it's a disaster andit enshrines open border policies. And he
also points out that the legal challengesto these provisions to be heard in a
highly partisan DC court, and thisis a this is a as a way,
(48:22):
it's a penalty to Texas because TexasAs, he noted created major slowdowns
to this open border's doctrine because webecause and as paston notes, quote,
our constitutional system allows us to suethe federal government in fair venues. What
Biden Mayorcis and the Senate You'd andparty in the Swamp want to do is
prevent the Texas AG and all otherstate ags from acting as a check on
(48:47):
the federal government's tyrannical abuses of power. So what pack, what A.
G. Paxson is noting, isthat all of these, all of these
challenges that you see being brought bythese ages, this is the way to
strip them of that ability to doso and centralize it in DC with the
DC District Court. That's exactly whatthis is. This is one of the
(49:08):
remaining checks and balances that Republicans havebeen able to use on an unaccountable Biden
administration regarding this open border doctrine, and they are removing it in this bill,
stripping it entirely. That is notan exaggeration, as I literally just
read verbatim the passage to you,and they are enshrining it in the DC
(49:30):
far left DC District Court. Sowhen I say that Republicans, any Republican
lawmaker supporting this is a traitor tothe republic. That is not an exaggeration.
You don't walk something like this backonce it's made law. You do
not. Once you give away yoursovereignty, your state sovereignty, once you
(49:51):
give away the power of the agto be able to temper what the federal
government is doing, you're not goingto get it back. Point to me,
at any time in American history wherethat has happened. It hasn't.
We have more on the way.We have headlines coming up and speaking of
infringements, imagine this is just onevariable. So take immigration. Once they
(50:16):
establish this precedent, imagine what theywould do for everything else. Consider Second
Amendment. So there's a guy upin New York. He is a longtime
hobbyist and he's been creating as ahobbyist for his own personal possession. He
builds his own firearms, which isa completely legal and acceptable to do.
That is according to our federal statutes. It's absolutely allowed that you can do
(50:39):
it. Well, New York decidedthat they wanted to criminalize a bunch of
things, and now expost facto, they're going to try to go after him
and rectroactively punish him for completely legalbehavior with completely legal items inanimate objects for
laws that they had just passed. We're going to talk to him about that
here coming up, because it's acase that has ramifications that go way beyond
Second Amendment. If you think itdoesn't come concern you, because it will.
(51:01):
And now all of the news youwould probably miss. It's time for
Dana's Quick five. So Britain's KingCharles has been diagnosed with cancer. The
seventy five year old monarch has postponedto all of his public duties. He
just went in for a procedure onan enlarged prostate. They said that there
was a mass there that was beennine. However, this cancer is not
(51:22):
of his prostate, it's another form. They haven't been specific, but they
said that it was a separate issueof concern that was noted and subsequent diagnostic
tests have identified it and so nowhe's going to receive treatment for that.
Also, this looks like men benefitmore from their looks at work than women
(51:44):
do, according to new research.Because you know, you've always heard that
women use their looks to get aheadin their careers. Actually men reap greater
benefits from being attractive in the workplace. A recent study of more than eleven
thousand Americans conducted over twenty years foundthat good looking dudes are more likely to
attack better jobs and make more moneythan they're similarly attractive female counterparts. These
(52:06):
were sociologists from OSLO and the PolishAcademy of Sciences. They looked at all
of this and for quite a spanof time, and they said, yes,
that that looks will play a role, but that good looking dudes apparently
used it more to their advantage thangood looking chicks, and actually it was
more effective. It's interesting. LosAngeles faces a high risk of flash foot
(52:28):
flooding as an atmospheric river takes aimat southern California. Isn't that the Pineapple
Express? And then what it is? Yeah, that's happening now. And
NASA has tracked a stadium sized asteroidthat passed by Earth but was not a
threat. It is not SMOD becauseSMOD would have hit us SMAD twenty twenty
four. It would have hit us. So they said, no, it
passed Earth. It's fine. Sojust everyone, you know, it's not
(52:50):
you know, there you go,let's see, there's Kansas Wildlife officials removed
an angler's trophy catch from the staterecord list. It was in what a
sixty year old fishing record catch upa lifetime and they removed it. They
said, this is like it's awhite crappy is what it's called? Ropie?
(53:10):
Yeah, crappy. I don't know. That's this horrible written article.
It's the lame. Elevate your commute, workouts or downtime with the Dana Show

video component of the radio program asimulcast Channel three forty seven Direct TV.
Catch us on YouTube, Facebook, everywhere, so you probably saw if you
follow me anywhere on social media.I can't believe I'm just finding out about
this story like in the past week, because this is one of the craziest
(53:57):
stories, and there's a lot ofcrazy stories regards firearms coming out of New
York. This is a wild one. So just to break down and we're
going to have this gentleman on asour guest here, just to give you
some backstory in Brooklyn. You know, American man building guns as a hobbyist.
You know, he's he's fascinated withputting things together, as are a
lot of people. You know,he's a hobbyist. He builds you know,
(54:19):
firearms, he gets you know, receivers, he builds different things.
I love the way that the mediadescribed that he had a whole arsenal.
He had like a few things, that was it. They they make him
sound like he's like Bert Gummer fromTremors or something like he's got like he
made an elephant gun or something likethis. But he's fifty two year old
native New York or software engineer. He likes building stuff. And I was
(54:40):
reading this great piece. Jeff Charleshas a piece over at Red State,
and he has no criminal record. He's not Hunter Biden, you know,
he's you know, he's just doinghis thing. And because New York doesn't
want to issue any permis, they'reslow walking everything. New York is trying
to do everything possible to make itwhere people cannot be armed to protect themselves
(55:01):
or to even enjoy machinery as ahobby. Uh, they're going after this
guy, and they're trying to puthim in jail for eighteen years for doing
nothing but legal activity with legal inanimateobjects and some of this. And I
was talking to a couple of lawyerfriends of mine. It seems weird to
try to expost facto go after someoneAnd I don't know. To me,
(55:23):
that seems like clownish. That's aclown move. And I don't know what
kind of scrutiny that's gonna that's gonnauphold and you know, in the court
of law. But I wanted tobring on our friend here to talk about
this dexter tailor aka carbon Mike.Uh. He's, he's got his podcast,
he's he's online. He's also Imean he's and I say this because
I think it's a compliment. He'sa nerd, right he's he loves math,
(55:45):
he loves machinery, machining things,he loves software jery. He's does
all look at all the stuff he'sgot behind him. That's a nerd man
cave right there. Uh. ButCarbon Mike akaa Dexter. First off,
thank you so much for bringing thisto my attention so we can get this
story out here. I know JeffCharles at red Stain, some really other
great folks have been doing this too. I just want to get I want
(56:07):
to make everybody familiar with this.Everybody knows, you know, ghost guns
is such a goofy name. Somany people I know make their own firearms.
And you don't have to serialize them. That's federal law. It's USC
eighteen twenty two or eighteen USC.Nine twenty two A through Z. You
don't have to serialize them unless you'reselling them. What you're not doing correct?
(56:29):
Correct not only you know basically thatonly does not intend to transfer or
sell them or anything else. TheState of New York should know this because
of course they seize my daily driver, my computer, my regular desktop,
my work laptop. They seized myphone, they sees my credit cards.
This is in my email records,so they know that I wasn't out there
(56:51):
talking about guns. I wasn't outthere advertising guns. I wasn't out there
talking about them on social media, and I certainly wasn't talking or thinking about
transfer and weapons. These were myweapons, my rifles I named them,
you know what I'm saying. AndI was trying to start my second career
in weapon science, right, Iwas. I had all these plans to
buy some land in New Hampshire andyou know, build a gun lab and
(57:15):
you know like kind of bring mybring my expertise a software guy and as
a data guy to firearms. Iwas looking up to guys like Bill Geistlee
from Guys Automatics, you know whogot his first contract right building triggers for
the US Army Sharpshooting Group. Doyou know what I'm saying? Like,
yeah, yeah, So so youwere home reading an audiobook to an audiobook,
(57:37):
you're you're you're relaxing, and youheard something yeah, that was not
in the audiobook. You heard voicesthat were not the people in the audiobook.
So you had no tip off tothis. Tell everybody what happened to
you. So yeah, the nightbefore this was like April sixth, I
believe, a twenty twenty two.So the night before I'd gone to bed
(57:57):
like I usually do, listen toan audiobook, and I woke up and
I was hearing sounds like you saidthat weren't the audio book voices and then
I heard a bang and the voiceswere louder, like they were inside my
living space. And then I sawweapon lights flickering back and forth underneath my
bedroom door. And so the firstthing I said was hello, Hello,
(58:19):
Hello, my name is Dexter Taylor. Who were you guys looking for?
Because I thought they had the wronghouse. Do you know what I'm saying,
Because it's like it never would haveoccurred to me that that the state
of New York would be like,we have to get this guy right.
Wow. So, because again Inever carried weapons, I never talked about
them. I never dine anything likethat. Never, you didn't even you
don't have a record, you're squeakyclean. At the time I was rated,
(58:43):
I was a member in good standingof the West Side Rifle and Pistol
Range in New York. So Ihad passed their background check. Okay,
And again you've seen my work online. I'm not out there saying anything or
doing anything that would make even areasonable non two way enthusiastic say this guy
shouldn't have weapons. You see whatI'm saying. So yeah, So I
(59:04):
said hello, hello, you guyslooking for and they said we're here for
you, and so I said,I bet it cool, and you know,
came out of my bedroom and gotlocked up like a gentleman. And
they ransacked my house, my weapons, took my tools and that was that.
Wow, took everything. And nowthey're going to they try to get
you, they try to make youaccept what eight years and you said no,
told them to go pound sand fromwhat I understand, rightfully, So
(59:25):
yes, ma'am, Yes, ma'am. They I spent. This was so
by the way, I was arrested. They took me off to birth the
local jail, I guess that wasthe eighty five precinct Info fir Sinc.
And then I went to Rikers. So I was in Rikers Island for a
week. Right now, my bailright to get out of Rikers. My
bail was almost a quarter of amillion dollars. Okay. Now, this
(59:50):
is in a city. This isin a city where people can beat up
on cops on camera and walk right. This there's a city where a nutty
uh professor from adjunct professor from HunterCollege can chase a cameraman down the street
(01:00:10):
in the bronx with a deadly weapon. Okay, and trapes into the precinct
and trapes out the same day.So when people say, when people say
that this whole obsession with violating ourrights is about public safety, that's a
lie. Yeah, I'm inclined tosay theirline. Yes, he's so polite.
(01:00:30):
It's a lie. It's absolutely alie. I mean this, we're
talking with our friend. Dexter Tayloraka carbon Miku was rated by New York
in this joint swat ATF Task Forcetheatrical stunt because they're accusing him of being
in violation of He's non violation ofthe law, but they're accusing him of
being a violation of the law.I was reading the press release legal possession
(01:00:52):
of ghost guns, which is sucha dumb such a dumb phrase. I
prefer the term traditional guns professional.Well, that's that's absolutely it's squarely within
the history and tradition of the UnitedStates. Absolutely right. And let me
say this. You know, look, look it's no I mean, I
(01:01:13):
myself am I am of no politicalaffiliation. I'm not a Democrat, not
Republican. Okay, but it's it'sworth noting that New York State is run
by Democrats, New York City isrun by Democrats. These are the same
people He's the same people telling meand telling people like me right that there's
murderous white supremacists hiding behind rocks andbushes and trees, waiting to jump out
(01:01:36):
and lynch us from the nearest trafficlight. Do you see what I'm saying.
If so, if these murderous whitesupremacists and clan members are the biggest
threat to domestic safety and you careabout my health and well being, well,
why are you willing to actually defythe highest port in the land.
Why are you willing to contravene thelaws of this republic to disarm me?
(01:01:58):
Isn't that odd usman who says theycare about you? Yeah, and for
an entity that says that this isabout public safety, when clearly they don't
care about public safety. I waslooking at these charges, they said,
oh goodness, everything and numerous ghostgun kits component parts. Oh he's got
he's violating the what is the criminalpossession of a fire and prohibition unfinished frames
(01:02:21):
and receivers. One kind of unlawfulpossession pistol ammunition? Oh Nos, not
pistol ammunition. Oh my goodness. You can be the son of the President
of the United States, and youcan dispose of an illegally purchased handgun literally
across the street from an elementary school, not even properly holstered in a pouch
covered with cocaine. And that's allright, But you making firearms in the
(01:02:42):
spirit of our founders, the historicalAmerican tradition, that's a no. No.
Well, you know, I,as you're talking, I realized what
my mistake was. If I hadhad some Russian hookers and maybe a couple
of baseball sized crack rocks, itwould have been a problem. But just
identify as Hunter Biden at this point, just say no, no, no,
(01:03:04):
I'm Hunter Biden. I'm hunting atdid you say, did you say
identify as I'm not going to beall transhunter, but of respect my pronouns.
Apparently it works. Apparently it works. We're talking to Dexter Taylor,
so I know that you're fighting this, and you know, I was telling
people the thing that what I findI mean, I think your case is
is terrifying. As you know,a Second Amendment supporter, practitioner, gun
(01:03:29):
owner, shooter. Uh, it'sscary because if they can just create law
and then try to retroactively penalize youfor it, just at their discretion.
That's frightening. But also firearms isjust a variable that I want people who
maybe do not have firearms or whoare not as invested in the Second Amendment
as we are. If they thisis a formula and guns are the variable,
(01:03:52):
they can go after anything at thispoint. If they're allowed to have
your case set as a precedent, well they can and they do. You
know, it's funny like I haveI have, I have a lot of
friends overseas. Uh, you know, my my kind of conservative or man's
(01:04:12):
think tank, the foundation of societykind of First, I guess gained prominence
with people on the other side ofthe ocean because I had did a fewterviews
with James jelling Pole from Breitbart Nowin the UK for example. Right,
it's not just guns that are banned, right, it's like edged weapons.
I believe brass knuckles are illegal.I believe like you can't carry around a
(01:04:35):
blackjack akash. Right. So whenthey say it's the guns, like they're
lying, because if it were reallythe guns, then they wouldn't also go
after edged weapons. You see whatI'm saying, They wouldn't also go after
force multipliers like brass knuckles. Soit's not about the guns. And you
could look at any place where gunsare illegal, chances are they've they've banned
(01:04:56):
a whole lot of other weapons thatare not ranged, weapons that are not
FI arms, you know what I'msaying. So this is, this is
a fundamentally, in my opinion, this is about the relationship between the citizen
and the state. And there arepeople who think that we should be their
servants. And that's a problem.I mean, that's just a problem.
It's antithetical to the American spirit.Absolutely. I want to stay in touch
(01:05:19):
with you and I I want Iwant to bring you back on for regular
updates about about this case because thisis they're gonna they're going to take you
through the ringer on this obviously,as you know, what can people do
to help, because I cases likethis aren't cheap. I know that,
Yes, ma'am, I do havea gift, so go The link is
in my Twitter profile. It's Ibelieve it's gifts and goes slash. Oh,
(01:05:41):
we got it right down about itright down there, lower third right
there. Certain, we'll we'll putthis out online too, thank you.
But I think more more importantly thanthat of course is first keep those prayers
coming. I need all the helpI can get. And second, just
spread the word. You see,the optics of this case are obviously very,
(01:06:02):
very bad for New York State. You know, like they thought they
had gotten some guy who was agang banger or had a record as long
as the arm or what have you, and then they thought they could flash
like this large number, you know, like eighteen years, and I'd hold
and then they could shuffle me offto the ubuliat and we'd be done.
But the fact is I'm not doingthat. I'm gonna stand up. And
(01:06:24):
so the optics are bad for them, but that presupposes that people are watching.
So the more people know about this, the more people talk about this,
the more people like you who aregenerous enough to give me a hot
mic, the better because I'll runmy mouth all day about this and show
what these people are about. Absolutelyand however we can help. We're We're
in. This is just a crazystory, Dexter Taylor. We're gonna follow
(01:06:46):
it. We're we're gonna check inwith you and get updates about this,
and people can go to the giftsand go We're gonna make sure we have
this link included with the video aswell, because this is one of those
cases I think where you know you'reyou're actually investing in fighting for rights because
it could be a court case.If it's allowed to stand as a precedent,
this will be used against everybody atsome point. Dexter. I so
appreciate you, my friend. Sowell, we'll keep in touch. We're
(01:07:08):
gonna have you back on and we'llfollow the story. Thank you so much
for bringing this up and fighting thegood fight. It's his laugh mission to
make bad decisions. It's time forFlorida man. So I have a couple,
have a whole handful. First off, there was a Florida man who
tried to sick his pit bull onpolice and then the pit bull attacked the
(01:07:30):
Florida man. Didn't actually work. You're doing that, you're not a good
dog owner. It was Palm BeachPost who said that it was in South
Rivera Beach. It was a reportedburglary. Cops arrived to and they observed
the guy matching the description of thesuspect. He was carrying hair products and
they ordered the guy to lay onthe ground. He did so well,
hugging his dog. He told officers, quote, y'all gonna have to kill
(01:07:51):
us. Before getting up and tryingto run away, They fired a stun
gun, temporarily knocking him back tothe ground. He got up again and
his officers pursued. He released thedog from its leash and yelled, quote
kill him, boy, kill him, and pointed at the officers and the
dog because it has morals, justliterally took a I think it brought,
ripped a butt cheek off, andthen it bit his head. He was
(01:08:15):
taken to Saint Mary's Medical Center.Yeah, it's a very good boy,
alcohol boy. I holt that theyI don't know what happened to the dog,
but nothing better have happened than adog. You don't want me finding
out right now after just losing Rockothat something happened to that dog, because
it's not going to be nice. It's going to turn into John Wick.
So marry go oh. By theway, speaking of dogs, the Snoop
(01:08:38):
Dog bobblehead statue the Canteen Laredo. It was returned too. It was a
twenty five hundred dollars no sorry, twelve hundred and fifty dollars bobblehead. It
was returned by the to the cashregister. It was like a special collectible.
I cannot believe this dude stole thisthing and then got arrested for it.
And because of the price, it'slike, you know, he's it's
a felon eats grand theft all,Oh my gosh, can you imagine what
(01:09:01):
are you in for? I stolea bobblehead grand theft? Yeah, stole
a bobblehead that he can really pickhim. A Florida man purchased a Portion
nine eleven Turbo with a homemade check. Wow. So Casey William Kelly,
he's got three first names, madea false check. He literally made it
(01:09:25):
up at home, apparently to purchasea one hundred and forty thousand dollar Portion
nine eleven Turbo. He's been chargedwith grand theft of a motor vehicle and
uttering a false banknote. That's apparentlycharged per Walton County Shriff's office. He
used his home computer and printer andto copy and print a convincing looking cashier's
check. Who accepted this and theyhad no idea. The place in Dustin
(01:09:46):
apparently had no idea, And hehad the keys in title, and he
drove off and then they learned itwas no good, and so they contacted
Oakle LUSA Sheriff's office. They foundhim. Oh my gosh, like you
couldn't really. I think you're allgonna be like reviewing your standards for accepting
cashiers checks. After that, stickwith us. We've got a lot more
in store. Third Hour on theway, this is right now. You're
(01:10:12):
gonna get other student this job. You're not coming down. He says,
it's my name. And guess whatI done drove the economy. Yeah,
so Joe Biden is saying that hisstudent debt cancelation, that it's free and
(01:10:34):
it's not costing people anything except you'rewe're all paying for it. Just I
know. Yeah, guys, Novemberis gonna be here before you know it.
Welcome back to the program, Danialast year with your top of this
third Hour, you can listen coastto coast. You can stream the radio
(01:10:55):
program, watch the video component ofthe broadcast, uh the simulcast of at
channel through forty seven direct TV,YouTube, Facebook as well. And we've
talked about this. This is justa vote buying scheme, that's all it
is. And it's mostly for thepeople that are in his administration. It's
mostly for those people, and thenof course about government workers as well.
(01:11:17):
It's we've gone through it. Butthe fact that he keeps pushing this and
that it's like this, it meansit's free college, is so that No,
why is it that we have topay for everybody's college when these universities
could be using their endowments and they'resitting on hundreds of millions of dollars A
(01:11:39):
lot of these and particularly the universitiesthat are benefiting the most from this bailout
of the academic aristocracy. And there'sno other way to put it between this
and the stuff with the border myheavens, and speaking of that, we're
gonna have Congressman Ship Roy coming upat the bottom of this hour to talk
about that because us chambers say no, no, no, we need this
(01:12:00):
bill. Y'all need to pass it. Roy's not inclined. If the tone
in his tweets are any indication, but there's some there's a little bit of
spiciness happening right now in the housebecause you had, you know, Dan
Crenshaw out there saying this is howdid he say it was that people were
getting to that overworked over this thisbill that is not the way to do
(01:12:23):
it, not the way to doit. Just gonna say, not the
way to do it. That's liketelling a man to calm down. I
think telling a man to calm downit makes a dude angrier than telling a
woman to calm down makes a womanangrier. Try it, I have it
works. I don't know, likeI don't know, I just feel like
it's not you know, I'm justgonna say it feels like. It feels
(01:12:45):
like it doesn't goodness, and we'regonna talk. We're gonna break down more
of this this border stuff too, because it is just a it's just an
absolute crazy hot mess. This iswhy everything in twenty twenty four is so
incredibly important. I mean, lookat the case as we got that are
going to be coming up before SCOTOSand then we've got you know, if
this think about this like say thatwe lose everything. Heaven forbid, but
(01:13:08):
just say that we lose, youknow, and the biggest defeat that we
would have would be ourselves if wedo not have great voter turnout. And
that's previously what's always done us inbefore is low voter turnout. All of
this stuff that you're going to seeat the border. They're gonna they're gonna
compound. It's going to be madeworse. You're you're gonna see I promise
you, they're gonna come out withsomething that expands one point eight million as
(01:13:30):
soon as it as soon as theyhit the one point eight million illegal entry
mark, they're going to expand it. Who knows, who knows to how
much. That's exactly what they're gonnado. So there's so many things that
are on deck, so many thingsthat are that are way too important.
I mean this, uh, whatof it? One hundred and eighteen billion
dollars forty billion, that's it?Or sorry, twenty billion, only twenty
(01:13:53):
billion for the border, only twentybillion for the border. And even then
this I just can't imagine saying that, Okay, well we're going to allow
law breaking this many times, andthen once we law break this many times,
then we're going to say, Okay, that's it, no more law
breaking. Well, that's not wherethe law gets its strength. There's no
(01:14:13):
consistency in application there. I mean, this is just Asinine King's pointing out,
what is this from Chris Murphy? You're pointing this is I guess he
co authored some of this stuff.Yes, yes, currently the system is
allowing so when more than five thousandpeople cross the day, the border never
closes, right, but the claimsnow have to be processed at the specific
(01:14:35):
ports of entry. So so ifnot only do five thousand come over illegally,
but then they don't close the borderat that point and they usher them
towards the ports of entry m hm. And then we'll have government paid lawyers.
And then what we're also included inthis border bill, don't forget,
(01:14:55):
is they're stripping from the Attorney's generalall across the states the ability to be
able to provide a check and balanceon the federal government with this lawlessness.
The way that you've seen Ken Paxton, and the way that you've seen you
know, the Missouri AG, IndianaAG, Texas AG, all these other
ags that have been having to reallydo a lot of stuff to temper this.
(01:15:16):
They're going to strip them of theirability to do that by centralizing all
authority over anything related to immigration, deportation, entertainment to the DC circuit.
That's in the bill. I readit. It's in the bill. I've
read it. I read a passageout loud last hour just asinine. So
that's that's a huge that's a hugepart of it. Three hundred and seventy
(01:15:38):
pages. They dumped it last night, and you're there's this is it's like
worse than what we have if thatcould be imagined. And what makes it
even worser is that there's so manyRepublicans that are on board with it.
I mean, there's some in theSenate. This is a lot of this
big con stuff. I want totalk about big con for a moment here.
(01:16:00):
So Friday, I don't know ifyou follow this story. Lorraine has
a great piece that just ran upat substack on chapter and verse my substack
that you can go and look at. So I was noting that in the
twenty sixth congressional district in Texas.I don't really get involved in a lot
of the Senate or congressional primaries andall that other stuff because there's so much
happening, and I always feel likeit's the candidate's responsibility to It's the candidate
(01:16:26):
that has to persuade people to votefor them. It's nobody else's job to
do that. I mean, goodgrief. I always think that candidates who
require other people to persuade people tovote for them. They're already outsourcing their
job. And we have too manypeople like that in DC. But one
of the things that I noticed withus is that in this primary, and
it's kind of a crowded primary,and you've got and I don't want to,
(01:16:46):
you know, there, I havea lot of friends that are involved
in this, and I don't wantto you know, name names, but
I'll say, like the top threecontenders is like the mayor of my town,
a guy who is the son ofa Texas Legacy candidate, and then
another guy who is the son inlaw of a commentator. And one of
(01:17:10):
the guys is you know, olderand is kind of moderate, you know,
and he's I just don't think ofyou know, conservative ideals the way
that we need to return to themwith the older guy, and the other
guy literally just moved in from NewYork and has literally never worked a day
in the private sector and lived inthe Trump Tower and has his father in
law that's literally buying the seat forhim. None of this stuff is exaggerated.
(01:17:32):
I mean, that's what it is. When you create a pack and
you fund it exclusively and you're buyingRepublican dinners and all this other stuff.
I mean, that's just it's someof the dirtier politics I've seen. But
it's also antithetical to the conservative spiritthat really fuels the movement that created the
Tea Party that I helped co foundback in two thousand and eight, two
thousand and nine and also led theway to Trump taking the White House and
(01:17:54):
all this other stuff tax cuts,et cetera, et cetera. It's antithetical
to the spirit of that movement becausewe don't leave and political aristocracy and we
don't believe, i e. Wehaven't fought in the streets for as long
as we have against the old establishmentfor New York people to make themselves the
new establishment. And so there's youknow, there was a contingent from New
York that was trying to, youknow, get involved and going after some
(01:18:16):
people in that twenty sixth district forspeaking out. And that made me angry
because I don't like to see peopletried to big time in a district.
I just I really just rubs methe wrong way. And one of those
guys worked with George Santos, right, he was like his right hand guy,
and he got real nasty about it, and we exchanged some barbes on
(01:18:38):
social media because George Santos had madethis cameo where he was reading this like
discredited ridiculousness and accusing, you know, the mayor of my town, John
Huffman, of doing all of theseegregious offenses, none of which were true.
And so then i got a holdof George Santos and I'm like,
well, who paid for this cameo? Because you know, I would hope
that they would have you know, you know, would have at least close
(01:19:00):
that you know it's probably for acampaign, or were you just you know,
used as a stooge for it.I'm just curious. Anyway, long
story short, Uh, after someback and forth barbs and all of this
stuff, Uh, Santos came todinner on Friday, and now I've I've
I've never met him before. Ihad no idea, but I wanted him
to meet the guy that he wasthat he did the video after and he
apologized to him at the dinner. He was like, I didn't even know
(01:19:23):
who I was making this for.It was anonymous. I'm not on cameo,
so I don't know how Sometimes I'mlike, is it really anonymous though,
but he apologized, you know, profusely to Huffman and said that he
was, you know, sorry thathe just, you know, he he
just gets stuff all the time andhe just reads whatever script is put in
front of him. And he didn'tknow that it, you know, had
caused such a problem because he,you know, was going after like the
(01:19:45):
legitimate you know, conservative candidate inthe primary, and uh, it was
you know, it was a Theybasically made up. Long story short,
they although Huffman didn't really have aproblem with him, they they made up
and Santos apologized and and you know, and I told him, I'm like,
you know, it's one thing tohappen opinion in politics, but to
get involved in an area that you'venever even been to, and and and
that you know, you don't evenknow the people involved. At some point
(01:20:08):
you can say to a to anextent that I was just reading a script,
but then you know, on theother end, you have to assume
the consequence that goes along with justreading a script. And so, you
know, he agreed on that, but so we we parted an agreement.
But he did apologize profusely and wasvery nice about it, and realized the
(01:20:30):
error of what he had done,so that ended. That ended nicely because
most stuff in primaries don't. Primariescan get super which I've never understood because
I'm like, are are people notalways on the same side? And I
also too think that it should bethe most conservative person who is electable who
can win in that particular race. And I just think that people who've never
worked in the private cert in theprivate sector and have had literally everything provided
(01:20:54):
to them, including political action committeesand everything else, I just don't think
that those people are the best fitto represent hard working American taxpayers who are
working in the private sector and deserveto have someone with a work ethic that
reflects theirs. And that's just, you know, this is kind of where
I stand on it. So forthe people who are asking, you know
what happened, Lorraine's got a greatpiece or she wrote a little bit more
about it over at substecks. Youshould definitely check it out because it has
(01:21:16):
some photos up there up there aswell of all of us together. Look
at that and now all of thenews you would probably miss. It's time
for Dana's Quick five. Canada hashalted their controversial assisted suicide program for mentally
ill people due to lack of doctorswilling to participate. They offer euthanasia to
(01:21:39):
termally and chronically ill people. Theywere going to extend the program to those
with mental illnesses, but it's dividedCanadians. According to The New York Times,
some say it's due to a lackof adequate psychiatric care, et cetera.
And it's just there's a lot ofit's sad. It is sad,
but the fact that there aren't enoughdoctors willing to participate, though, gives
(01:21:59):
me a little bit of hope.So it's just it's the whole thing is
sad. Another dead whale on thebeaches in Maryland, So this is apparently
this has been happening like quite abit. Thirty seven humpback whales were discovered
dead last year. It was thehighest number ever recorded, according to federal
data. They said that the definitivecause they weren't able to determine during the
(01:22:23):
examination and they're looking for They said, they sent the samples that they shipped
out for diagnostic analysis, and theydiscovered another humpback just a few days ago,
or actually January sixteenth of last month, beached in the exact same location
in NPS National Park Services. Therewas no obvious sciences to the cause of
death. So some people are wonderingif windmills the offshore windmills. Some are
(01:22:47):
wondering that, do you think itcould actually that could actually be a thing.
Yeah, I think it's the Actually, they had to do the survey
of that sea floor, and inorder to do that, they have to
use high frequency sounds, and Ithink that there's a lot of that that
has to do with what we're seeingwith these whales washing up on shore.
Golly, this is sad. SanMateo County becomes the first in the US
(01:23:10):
to declare loneliness as a health emergency. It's because we're so tech where everybody's
like so digital. They got togo out and touch grass every now and
then. They had a unanimous votein San Mateo County in California by their
board of supervisors to become the firstcounty to recognize loneliness as a public health
emergency. And that was their Theirsupervisor says, quote, we have forty
(01:23:31):
five percent of the people who findthemselves lonely suffer from loneliness. So what
are you gonna do if you sayit's a health issue. What are you
gonna do? Like, what's yourresponse to it? To them? Yeah?
Are you gonna like go to goto people's houses? Like what?
I don't. It's like I can'tstand like these you know, do nothing,
do good? You know, here'smy virtue signal and they shine it
at like a spotlight into the skyall of Batman. I just I don't
(01:23:53):
get the point. What was thepoint of it for those people still buying
girls Scout cookies. I know thatthere was the whole thing with planned parenthood
and all of that in yours ago. I haven't had any since then.
They apparently are going to be moreexpensive than they ever were before inflation hits
everything. So it's like what halfa box of the Lemonade's cookies is like
six dollars. I don't even knowwhat those cookies are because the only ones
(01:24:16):
that mean anything are thin mints, and everything else is trash. So the
one that has on one side thatlike a lemone icing and it's a lemon
cookie and it's got that logo stampedon it. Thin mints are the only
ones that count good to Yeah,by the way, you can get thin
mint tasting chocolate covered off almonds atCostco in a giant plastic jug. I'm
not telling you how I know thisor how many of them I eat,
which I'm not saying I do,but they taste just like it, and
(01:24:40):
it's an almonds, so I tellmyself it's healthier and there's more protein involved.
Tastes just like a giant jug,Like you could fit your head in
the jug, it's that big.I'm not going to tell you how many
I go through, but they're reallydelicious. Maybe let's see. And Italian
court ordered Getty Images to remove photosof Michael Angel as David. I okay,
I'm for this because Getty itself isso letigiou. I am all for
them putting a boot up Getty's butt. I'm all for it. So they
(01:25:03):
said that their Italian operation is facinga lawsuit for the Tribunal of Florence regarding
their content depicting Mike Michlangelo's David. They said they temporarily removed it from their
local Italian websites, but they're convincedthat the legitimate legitimacy of the conduct and
are unconvinced and they're going to contestit. So they said that it's basically
(01:25:23):
an infringement. You can't, youknow, they have to you have to
have proper appropriation. Uh. Andit has to include the following words.
And we're protecting they said, they'reprotecting the cultural heritage memory. I'm all
for whatever Florence wants to do,because Getty will literally sue you if you
so much just wink at one oftheir photos. So I'm all right.
Congressman ship Roy up next. Whetheryou're a policy wonk, a news junkie,
(01:25:45):
or simply someone hungry for insightful discourse. That Dana Show podcast as your
back follow Dana on Apple, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts.
We're going to start to see thevisualization of the failure of the policy.
I said this over and over again. I said it last year. I
said it of you know, fromthe beginning of this crisis. We're seeing
(01:26:08):
the visual of what a failed nationalpolicy is reducing. And when I speak
to my colleagues in other cities, they're saying the same thing. It's not
unique to New York. We haveto fix this with a national solution.
He needs to kind of figure outa solution for Manhattan. I mean,
(01:26:30):
they just announced this fifty was itfifty three million dollar program or they're giving
every twenty eight days they get refilledcredit cards to yeah, yeah, incentives
to people who entered the country illegallygoing up to Manhattan. That was Eric
Adams up mayor up there. Welcomeback to the program. Dana Lesher with
you. We're at the bottom ofthis third hour. Joining us right now.
I'm just warning you he's mad. He's mad, I can tell immediately.
(01:26:54):
And if you haven't been following hisvicious takedown of this disastrous border bill
on social media, I don't knowwhat you're doing. Congressman Ship Roy from
the Great Republic of Texas joins us. He's in the swamp right now.
So this, uh, you calledit the war debt and Open Borders bill.
It is not a border security bill, you said. The bill is
(01:27:14):
not well intended. It's a billdesigned by Democrats to boost Biden against Trump
by helping Democrats blame Republicans for openborders. Now, I've been reading this
three hundred sum on page bill.It is it's worse than what we have.
The two things that stick out tome, the stripping of a g
power or reducing the effectiveness of attorneysgeneral by taking everything to the DC circuit
(01:27:39):
is insane to me, giving themlike soule authority to determine everything on detention
immigration and then so we're now decidingwe're going to allow this many crimes to
occur before we decide to say, okay, that's the quote, no more
crimes. We're gonna stop it now. That's that's where we are. The
one point eight million old Dana. No, it's great. I'm actually the
(01:27:59):
great movie and I actually would watchChosen in the theater of my family last
night. I had a good timemy family. I flew to DC and
I didn't mean to misrepresent you.I'm sorry, congressmation. No, no,
no, I actually enjoy this becauseI actually, right now my feeling
is that Bill is dead and that'sa good thing. Now, we need
to make sure that everybody understands thatwe need to make sure that Senate Senate
Republicans should kill this on closure. They shouldn't get it out of the Senate.
(01:28:21):
That's our goal right now. Butit's dead in the house, you
know. Steve Scalie said he won'tgive it four time. Mike Johnson has
said is dead on arrival. Buthere's what's important. I'm trying to debate
even how much air time to giveto this, because let's be clear why
Democrats want to do this, exactlywhat you just read from my tweet threat.
They want to put something out therethey claim is a compromise border security,
(01:28:42):
and they want to say we killedit, and therefore the border problem
is on us. They don't wantto own them that which they've created.
Right, they're the ones that createdthis mess. Joe Biden comes in,
He ends Micharo protection protocols remained inMexico, all sorts of like fifty something
executive orders and actions. Mike Johnsondid a great John hanaloging those put out
a less where they opened up ourboarder and just I know you've got a
(01:29:03):
really smart audience, but just everybodyunderstands what's actually happening. Right, the
law, the spirit and the textof our existing law says that you shall
detain, you shall maintain operational controlof the border. And then there are
some exceptions and loopholes to that, loopholes that were created by judges Sean Haker.
(01:29:24):
Right, it was called the FloraSettlement dvpr A. It's called they're
a little judge made loopholes. Andthen the exceptions in our law Congress's past
for asylum and parole, which aremeant to be case by case exceptions in
the case of asylum for credible fearpersecution, and a parole for very specific
cases where oh, we need tobring you in because you're in some problem
in China or whatever. But nowthey've taken that and used those exceptions and
(01:29:48):
those loopholes to flood the zone andsay anybody can come here, say to
the magic words, and will releaseyou. They've done it purposely. We
sent out to fix that executive branchabuse with HR two and frankly the bill
that I introduced. Your remember HRtwenty nine, which was designed to say
you shall detain or you shall turnaway. That was my bill, which
(01:30:09):
I still think is the best approach. Like four pages, we did HR
two, and we embedded that conceptinto a broader package. Fixed the asylum
to fix a parole, fixed abunch of provisions fund the wall, include
the basic point that you shall detain, put in removal proceedings, or you're
going to stay in Mexico. Thatwas basically what we drafted. They're now
coming in with democrarats to create coverpass this bill that will do the opposite.
(01:30:33):
It does more than what you justsaid. It's even worse. One
point four billion dollars for the NGOsthat are tied in the United Nations,
pumping people through Mexico to send peopleinto the United States. Four billion dollars
to hire asylum officers and run judgesprocess people, get them into the United
States under one hundred and eighty eightclock so they're not detained too long,
(01:30:55):
while they would then if they're detainedtoo long, they would put them in
they they'd immediately release them under alternativesdetention. The point is it's all a
ruse. It would end up codifyingillegal immigration. As Daniel Horowitz put it
right, you're legalizing illegal immigration tothe tune of two million people a year.
So that's too much, too muchin the weeds, But you've got
a smart audience or want them tounderstand it. The bottom line is politically
(01:31:18):
it's dead. In my opinion,we need to make sure bullet it kill
it, and then we need topivot. And I think we need to
pivot to say we need to beback on offfense. Cramming h start two
back down the throats of the Senate. That's my message to Mike Johnson.
I like the four page talk oncongressmanship, Roy. I like the four
page I mean it's very simple, four pages. Everybody can read it,
you know, with their coffee inthe morning before they head out to work.
(01:31:40):
Because this thing three hundred sum pagesdropped last night. I mean,
my gosh, I'm scrammed. Imean we're scrambling before the show to get
everything read. So we know wewere talking about on air today and then
they're making you all determine policy inthat timeframe, right, and the worst
part it is in the House,we get time to read it, kill
it, figure out were going toneed. The Senate they got a vote
on it, I think by tomorrow. So you know, Mike Lee has
(01:32:02):
been, you know, tweeting thisout all last week saying, guys,
you guys have been doing this insecret. We're gonna have to review this
bill over the weekend. Now,if the good news is it's so bad
that it's pretty easy for us totake shots at it. I mean it's
really hard to defend. I mean, you know, I'll listen to you
know, at some point somebody who'strying to defend it, I guess,
but I don't really understand how youcan defend what they're doing with respect to
(01:32:24):
releasing people in the United States, the asylum officers. I just described the
really good point you made where allthese courts go into DC. Remember in
HR two we also empowered ags tosue in federal court if we weren't doing
the job. That would be inthe Fifth Circuit in Texas. That would
be in the circuit courts, notin DC. Importantly, we fixed the
(01:32:45):
silent, we fixed parole, allof those kinds of things. There's nothing
in this bill that requires building thewall. I had already talked about the
NGOs. There's so much stuff fortrying to what is it a fraction of
this out of the one hundred andeighteen billion, it's only what sixty billion
that goes to that goes to theto the border or no, not millions,
sorry, six sixty billion dollars goesto Ukraine. So again that's a
(01:33:08):
really important part. This is awar bill Ukraine. It's got money for
you Israel. Of course we allsupport Israel, although we should come back
to that in a minute. Moneythey're for Taiwan and other stuff. And
then twenty billion in there for bordersecurity. But it's not really for border
security, not to you know, really help build the wall and all that.
It's to fund the processing of moreillegal alien to come here and claim
(01:33:29):
asyl and can't and don't have alegitimate claim. Also, we're funding lawyers.
We're going to fund lawyers for childrenand other illegal aliens, not just
children, and that's going to bea magnet. And oh, by the
way, unaccompanied alien children they're leftout of the detention requirements. So what
does that mean More more of thesebad actors will use children as their ticket
(01:33:51):
to get in, like not theirreal children. They'll grab a child,
come here, use them to getinto the United States. So this is
the problem we're having, and that'sthe exact problem that was under Obama Biden.
That's why they started the separation offamilies, that whole phrase at the
border, but way before Trump becauseof that, with the Flora settlement,
that was one of the things thatI'd actually encouraged to touch back on.
(01:34:11):
And we'll switch to the Israel fundingpart of this. The twenty billion from
what I understand, correct me ifI'm wrong on this. I had read
that the Marine Corps entire fiscally ortwenty twenty four budget was fifty three billion.
That was the request, and it'ssixty billion that's going to that's earmarked
for Ukraine on us. Ukraine isgoing to get more money than the Marine
Corps budget. That is true. And look, you can have an honest
(01:34:33):
debate, I suppose on what weshould or shouldn't do about Ukraine. I've
got my problems with sending another dollarto Ukraine at all. But just if
you're so, if you've got soimportant, let's just put a clean trader
for down vote on the floor.Let's have a full two weeks of debate.
Let's debate the pros and cons.Let's let the hawks, the doves,
the people who are kind of inthe middle, have a big,
full debate, debate the funding, pay for that funding, and then debate
(01:34:56):
it back and forth. But wedon't do that. No, it's a
swamp bill, all paid for,all jammed through trying to leverage people's concern
about the border to try to masqueradegetting an actual war bill, a war
machine bill, through the swamp. One other important part, I think that
Barrett's conversation is that every bit ofthis is bar the full one hundred and
(01:35:16):
eighteen billion dollars, just sixty billionfor Ukraine, the Taiwan, the border.
It's one hundred and eighteen billion ofadditional money fully barred, not paid.
Wow. Talking with Congressmanship Roy,I know that Speaker Johnson had said
that he wants a standalone bill regardingIsrael, aid tell me about this is
it? Because I just don't seesomething like that going through even the Senate.
(01:35:38):
I don't see Democrats joining on tothat. Well. I mean,
I'm a little torn on that one. I think at the end of the
day the Senate probably they would haveto eat it and say that they're going
to do it for Israel. It'sa tough vote for them, but I'm
not sure and how much would thatwhat amount was A few Democrats probably get
it done, but I don't supportit, and that's hard for me.
(01:35:59):
Right. I'm sure you're in thesame boat in terms of your support of
Israel. I love Israel, Ilove going to Israel. I love people
of Israel. I want them towipe the moss off the face of the
planet. I want them to defendthemselves and I want to continue to stand
by Israel. I support the moneythat's in our normal defense budget, which
is about four billion dollars, towork with them on Iron Dome and to
make sure we stand alongside them. But for me to go to my constituencies
(01:36:20):
in Texas and tell them that I'mgoing to go pay for so I'm not
going to pay for seventeen point sixbillion dollars, We're going to borrow money,
give it to Israel, and we'renot going to secure the border of
the United States. So unpaid forraking up debt and no security for our
border, I can't look my constituentsin the eyes and say I'm going to
go give money to our friend, even our best friend, right my best
(01:36:42):
friend over here who's got a toughtime going on and over here. My
family's getting absolutely mobile because my border'sopen and we're spending money we don't have,
it, says I said in mytweet about Israel. There's not going
to be a United States of Americato stand with Israel if we keep spending
money we don't have, and ifwe're not a sovereign nation. We see,
that's just the truth. I thinkthat's the best explanation. I've heard
(01:37:02):
of it. There's your position onit right there, well, and that
is it. Because I love Israel, and I reached out to a lot
of my Jewish friends and constituents,I said, look, I hate this
right. I want to be rightthere side my side with Israel. God
bless me. Like I said,we can't afford it because we don't have
the money. Like you said,it's not paid for. We are borrowing
(01:37:23):
from our future, and it's noteven to secure our own domestic situation here
our southern border. Right it wouldbe one thing if we look, we're
not going to solve the two trilliondollar deficit in one fell swoop, I'd
get that. It'd be one thing, like right now, if we were
going to pass a continue resolution forthe rest of this year that the cap
spending at fifteen sixty four, whichis basically where it would be, which
(01:37:44):
would save us about one hundred billion, that it would be responsible ish if
we were doing something to secure ourborder, if we were taking steps that
we need to do here at thehome front on say energy policy, those
kinds of things. And I'm seeingthat happen, And then I was like,
Okay, Chip can we eat seventeenbillion unpaid for for Israel, or
can we go take some whole otherfund, some COVID slush fund money or
something and pay for Israel. I'dsay you bet. I want to be
(01:38:08):
there with Israel. That's a gooduse of money to fight our aenemies and
fite a moss and fight a hasa lot and the pushback on I ran,
that's in our interest, in theirinterest, in the world's interest,
it's in the interest of Western civilization. But right now, but we're just
getting sucker punch left or right. And I'm telling you this country is hanging
on about very thin thread. Infact, America, in about five years,
(01:38:29):
if we keep on this current trajectory, I don't know that we would
have the votes to withstand giving thePalestinians a two state solution and walking away
from Israel. So we better getour home front secure first. That's and
that's a very important point. Ithink that that you just made here talking
with Congressman hip Roy. We're outof time right now, but I'd love
to have you back always whenever yougot any I mean, I like the
way that you explain that, becausewithout the nuance and without actually discussing that,
(01:38:54):
like, for instance, the issuewith Israel, there's a lot of
false characterizations that are that are putout there, and it's just it's silly.
It's silly when you can you know, just hear, you know,
sixty seconds of him explaining it,like you just said, Congressman ship Roy,
we appreciate you, thank you foryour fight to take care. Of
course, follow Dana on Apple,Spotify or wherever you get your podcasts,
(01:39:14):
because knowledge is your ultimate superpower.Well, here's the problem, David.
The president can't do this by himself. The president doesn't have the legal authority
without additional legislation, to control theborder and fix the broken asylum system in
the way that needs to be done. But he had the authority to open
(01:39:36):
the border and like compound the brokenasylum system by ordering immigration judges to do
busy work or processing people with barelya review and then handing them a date
for some sort of maybe hearing sixyears later after they've illegally crossed into the
(01:39:56):
country. Don't sit here and tellme that he can't do something after he
already did thing to make it worse. Then he can undo the things that
he did to make it worse. That's Chris Murphy trying to man explain to
everybody that that that doesn't that doesn'tdoesn't fly, It doesn't fly at all.
I mean, he these are allthings that he did. He could
stop the federal government's blocking of Texaslaw enforcement and dealing with apprehension and detainment
(01:40:20):
of people that are crossing in illegally. They could stop, you know.
I mean, he was the one. It was Biden that gave the order
to go and cut the razor wire. That razor wire I read identifies as
a just an aggressive slinky. That'sall. I'm gonna start using that phrase
from now. And it's not razorwire. This is just a slinky with
(01:40:43):
attitude, that's all it is.That's right there. But he had he
was the one who ordered the fenceto go and cut that razor wire.
So if he doesn't have any controlof the border, then I would wonder
why how did that happen? MaybeChris Murphy, could you know, man
explain that one too. I mean, considering he's not receiving any pushback from
the stooge that's interviewing him, I'mlike, how are you not pushing back
on this stuff? How are younot interrupting and saying I'm sorry, excuse
(01:41:06):
me? What? Like? Howwhat do you mean? He but he
did all of these things that madeit worse. These are steps that he
took, actions he undertook and madeit worse. Doesn't make any sense,
all right? Today in stupidity cameoh boy, there is a lot.
But I think we're going to haveto lean on our Vice President Kamala Harris.
(01:41:27):
I yah, this one. She'sgot all the solutions for the border
crisis. Listen to this and onethis is cut three, go for it.
Here's the thing on this issue. We all know that our immigration system
is broken. It has been fora long time. On day one,
when right after our inauguration, whenPresident Biden and I came in, first
bill we offered was to clean upthe immigration system and create a pathway for
(01:41:53):
citizenship. They've not taken it upbecause, sadly, there are a lot
of members of the Republican Party hereelected members of the Republican Party who would
prefer to run on the problem insteadof fixing the problem. We're offering solutions.
Okay, here's the thing. Democratscaused this problem to be as bad
as it is. It has neverbeen as bad as it is right this
(01:42:15):
very second. It's because of whatBiden did when he first got into office.
The gaslighting here is unbelievable and ifyou believe it, you're stupid.
Well there you go, Wow Kane, Wow, look at that. All
right, folks, That does itfor us today. Make sure you go
