(00:00):
I want to be crystal clear. From my direct personal experience and what I've
subsequently come to learn, it isclear to me that Joe Biden was the
brand being sold by the Biden family. His family's foreign influence pedaling operation from
China to Ukraine and elsewhere, soldout to foreign actors who were seeking to
gain influence and access to Joe Bidenand the United States government. Joe Biden

(00:22):
was more than a participant in anda beneficiary of his family's business. He
was an active, aware enabler whomet with business associates such as myself to
further the business, despise being bufferedby a complex scheme to maintain plausible deniability.
I asked this big question, ifthere's no evidence of corruption here today,

(00:42):
if Joe's conduct and the conduct ofhis family were fully legal and proper,
then why are they so dishonest aboutit? Why indeed were they so
dishonest about it? That's Tony Bobolinski. There's a lot of hearings that are
going on today, and I'm goingto bring you up to speed on all
of that. But that was TonyBobolinski testifying there, and he is for

(01:04):
it. Amazes me because this isthe guy who has all the receipts,
but the media doesn't want to payany attention to it because again, the
media is all in on protecting Theygotta protect you, Biden. Joe Biden
said, they got to protect soyou know they're all in for all in
for Biden. Welcome to the programDana Lash with you top of this first
hour on Wednesday. It's finally kindof sunny in Texas, so always going

(01:27):
to be with you, and uh, you can listen Coach to Coach.
You can stream the radio program. You can watch the video component of the
radio program as well on YouTube,Facebook. Always a good discussion on YouTube
channel three forty seven, Direct TVas well in X I almost forgot.
We're also on X and everywhere youcould get stuff. So hello to everyone

(01:47):
watching on a million different things. So the uh, I mean he's saying,
Bobolinski is saying, you will letme clearly, Biden was the brand.
I mean, he he was thehe was the brand. He was
the brand for all of this, and that that makes perfect sense. I
mean, it makes perfect sense whenyou look at the emails. It makes
perfect sense when you read all ofthe like there's some of the previous testimony

(02:12):
from these witnesses. I mean, for crying out loud, what else are
they going to be selling. It'snot like their farmers, it's not like
their manufacturers. They're not making products, none of that. They're not doing
any of that stuff. They're notdoing any of it. So the the
brand, He's right, it's theaccess. It's the brand that's being sold.
That's exactly what was being peddled here. It was that influence. I

(02:35):
mean, good grief, it's asininethat we have to I mean that this
even has to be reiterated. It'sobvious. It's obvious to a media that's
spent count in the days. Inmy head, however, many days on
bloodbath, I think it was thebloodbath narrative. However, many days that

(02:57):
was they're actually I think they're stillon it, so uh it is.
Yeah, however many days that isthe bloodbath nonproversy. So we're gonna we're
gonna continue follow to follow all ofthis. Like I said, the there's
a lot of hearings that are happeningtoday, and some of it is you
have the UH, Like I said, the UH witnesses that for the Biden

(03:22):
business associates. You have Jason Galanis, Tony Bobolinski. They're going to be
testifying with House Oversight Accountability. Thenyou also have a lot of meetings and
things like that. Some of thehearings house financial services, that's the overreach,
looking at the need for reform.Uh. They have Judiciary, House
Judiciary, looking at the administrative state, the agency adjudication and other agency you

(03:45):
know, et cetera. Central HouseArmed Services is meeting. They're looking at
net SEC issues in the Indo Pacificregion. I eat China, householdland security,
they're looking at Iran. You haveagriculture China and the danger that China
presents to American agriculture. There's alot of stuff. And then of course
you have the Senate Judiciary. They'relooking at post obs quote unquote, reproductive

(04:09):
freedoms. That's the that's the that'sa Democrat one run. You know,
that's Democrat run. So we haveall of that, and then of course
Biden's traveling today. He was inNevada yesterday, he's in Arizona today.
Then he's heading to Dallas for twodifferent campaign events because they want to make
Dallas. They want to try todo everything that they can to make Dallas

(04:29):
competitive. So all of the stuff, that's everything that we that's a lot
of stuff that's happening today. Sowe'll get into it. And of course,
you know, Hunter Biden not testifyinghe was offered a public hearing.
He has declined it. He rememberhe along with I think Eric Swalwell who
reserved it on the calendar, theyhad this big thing on Capitol Hill where
they were, Oh, he was. He was making a big show of

(04:51):
how he wanted to have a publichearing, and he wasn't going to do
what was protocol for such investigator forsuch inquiries rather, which was to have
a private private Q and a havea private hearing. All of that was
transcribed and then afterwards they go andthey have the public hearing. That's how

(05:12):
everybody's done it, everybody, Democratic, Republican. Hunter Biden didn't want to
do it. He just wanted tomake it look like, you know,
obviously he's been advised and being toldto make it look like they're persecuting him,
and then they're not offering him transparency. They're trying to get the narrative
up that it's a witch hunt.It just looks pathetic, especially now that
they said, okay, you knowyou came in, we had closed it
out. Let's have the public hearing. Now. He doesn't want to have

(05:32):
the public hearing. He doesn't wantto do that at all now. So
it was all theater, as youall know, all completely theater now as
this has been happening yesterday, thishas been going back and forth, back
and forth. So the so Texas. This has to do with SB four
in Texas, and this is thelaw in which law enforcement Texas authorities could

(05:58):
arrest and detail illegal immigrants. Andthe bill does not the the the law
does not provide deportation. It doesn'tallow for deportation. I think that there
was some lack of understanding or lackof clarity on this. But they had
that, uh you know, sbefore they were going to allow to the

(06:19):
enforcement of that. And they stillhave hearings in the Fifth Circuit Federal Court
of Appeals. Uh, that's gonnahave to go through the appellate courts and
they're gonna have to have their biggiant fights over that. But it's uh,
they issue the order that prevented themfrom arresting it. So this is
hours after they allowed it to takeeffect. It's been going back and forth,

(06:39):
back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. So we're
gonna we're gonna bring you all thelatest on this, deep dive in this
as well, because this is alsoMexico had said that they're not going to
take under any they're not gonna allow, under any circumstances, the repatriation of
anybody who came up through their country, and they would they said that they

(07:00):
would send any if they were deportedto Mexico, they would send them back.
Well, you can come and try, they can come and try.
So this has been just an absoluteThis has been a mess. This has
been a mess. It's just insane. In addition to that, so we
have more on that. In additionto that, I had a piece out
and we're going to explore this morecoming up at the bottom of the hour.

(07:21):
The just to put it on yourtable as it relates to illegal immigration.
Earlier, there was a judge,it was an Obama backed judge,
an Obama nominated judge in Illinois thatruled that illegal immigrants can carry guns.
Now, I wrote a piece upabout this over at chapter and verse,

(07:43):
and that's the you should have thatthat's the newsletter that goes out every day,
and it gets into this decision. It happened when this this individual entered
the country illegally and then in twentytwenty was caught carrying a handgun that he
had said that he had obtained forself protection during the George Floyd riots,

(08:05):
et cetera, et cetera. Sowent through the legal system, and now
you have this leftist judge that issaying that this illegal alien, which is
the correct legal term, can carryfirearms. Now, I want to caution
you, the right is being baitedwith this so hardcore. You're being baited
into doing one of two things. You're being baited into either defending open borders

(08:30):
or you're being baited into advocating formore gun control. And they're trying to
conflate several different arguments here, themain thrust being that, well, the
you know, the natural rights don'tjust exist for American citizens. And if
you believe in natural rights, thenyou believe that they are not created in
a court of law at all whatsoeverby man and given to anyone, be

(08:54):
the citizen or not. I thinkthat that's a grotesque understanding of the creation
of the republic. I mean literally, stuff like this is why Hillsdale College
does all of it stuff. Ithink it is a misunderstanding of the nature
of the republic, the reason ourrepublic was created, and the origin of
sovereignty in this country, which we'regoing to do a deep dive on.

(09:16):
Because no one denied this individual, this illegal alien, no one denied him
citizenship. He just never bothered toapply for it. He entered the country
illegally, and it's amazing that hecan do all this stuff. He can
sit here in file lawsuits and doall of this stuff and be used as
sapatsy to advocate for a one totwo shot of open borders and gun control,
but he can't begin the process tobecome a legal citizen, and you

(09:37):
cannot be prevailed upon to enter thecountry legally. I just think that if
you want to have the protection ofaffirmation of rights in the face of government,
you have to join the citizenry whichthe government derives its authority. And
we're going to talk more about thatcoming up to put that on the table
for you. Because all of this, as you can imagine, American juris

(10:00):
prudence is under attack. It's underattack every word is losing meaning. We
have a legal system now that doesn'teven want to identify or define what a
woman is, which think of thelegal ramifications of that by itself. We
have a legal system that is honoringpeople who are who are housejacking people's property.

(10:20):
I have a whole bunch of stuffthat we're going to talk about on
the squatting phenomenon there is, particularlyin New York. It's so incredibly restrictive
and insane. In New York.If you I mean you're if you're a
squat or you can go into someone'sproperty and if you can make the argument
that you've been there for thirty days, you can more easily establish squatter's rights

(10:41):
than you, as the homeowner orproperty owner, assert your own property rights.
It is one of the wildest thingsI've ever seen. There was a
woman who was most recently arrested becauseshe changed the locks on her own property
after people moved in and then housejacktar. Now, if you were to
do this with a vehicle, thiswould be considered grand theft auto, but

(11:03):
apparently you can do it with ahouse. Because the Left argues that giving
someone a home is at right akinto a natural right that's what they tried
to argue with the whole rent andlease, all of that moratorium, rent
moratorium during the coronavirus, and that'swhen you had the CDC that you know.
Finally there was a ninth circuit thatsaid, no, we're not gonna

(11:24):
I think it was seventh Circuit.Actually the we're we're not gonna honor this.
You can't be a government agency andrule that people don't have to pay
their rent, particularly when people stillhad to pay their mortgages and they still
had to pay taxes on the propertythat everyone else was given a reprieve from
paying rent on. The craziest thingI've ever seen. So when you look
at American jurisprudence, it is beingabsolutely destroyed and the innocent are being made

(11:46):
into criminals because of the rot ofrestorative justice. Case in point, look
at Daniel Penny. He's his trialdate was set. He is being persecuted
by the state because he defended notjust himself but other indis against a violent,
dangerous repeat offender who had already hada warrant out for their arrest because
they were beating up elderly women. He had broken a woman's nose for crying

(12:09):
out lout a sixty three year oldwoman's nose just a few weeks prior,
and he was threatening to kill otherpeople. His past behavior proved that he
had the ability and clearly he hadthe motivation and the will to do it.
To me, that presents a clearand present danger. Daniel Penny should
be given a citizenship award, notbe not charges and being taken to court.

(12:31):
So we're going to talk about allof this coming up, and we're
also going to get into, likeI said, the latest with culture and
policy EVS looks like they're dead.American financing because everybody's broken putting stuff on
credit and you're not going to likethe headline that I have for you coming
up about all of that. It'skind of sad because that's by an inflation.
So here's the thing with American financing. Like I just said, people

(12:54):
are putting everyday essentials on credit andthat's making their debt skyrocket. And the
intro rates for that, I don'teven want to think about it because they're
super high. But if you're ahomeowner, American financing can help you out.
Interest rates have dropped into the fivepercent range and the process starts with
the free mortgage review. You cantalk to a salary based mortgage consultant.
Start today, and you could evendelay two mortgage payments and close in as

(13:18):
fast as ten days. They're savingtheir customers an average of eight hundred and
fifty four dollars a month. It'slike giving yourself a ten thousand dollars a
year raised without the extra hours. And they can offer every type of loan
in the industry, no cost orobligation. To find out how much you
can save. Family own mortgage lender. They've been doing this for over twenty
five years with an A plus ratingwith the Better Business Bureau, no pressure,
no fees, evening a week andhours. Call eight sixty six five

(13:39):
seven four to twenty five hundred orvisit American Financing dot net to get started
today. It's eight six six fiveseven four to twenty five hundred American Financing
dot Net, n MLS one eighttwo through three four NMLS, Consumer Access
dot Org APR for rates in thefive start at six point six percent for
well qualified bars. Called eight sixsix five seven four twenty five hundred for
details about credit costs and terms, and now all of the news you would

(14:01):
probably miss it's time for Dana's Quickfive. So we had this from the
other day. How apparently that policeroom in New Orleans where rats were eating
all the marijuana, Apparently they wereeating everything. And apparently it's not just
rats, the cockroaches are also high. That is what city council was told
earlier. They said that the uncleanlinessof the building is off the charts.

(14:24):
So not only did they tell thepress, but they also went to city
council because apparently nothing is happening atthis building, that's all the vermin are
high. This I think is ahysterical, hysterical story. So the New
York Post has this story. Idon't know if you know. Look,
unless you are bougie brains out, nobody pays attention to the stuff. Most

(14:45):
people only know it from TV Hermez, which is a French brand. They
have this stupid it's attacks on stupidity, the price of this like purse that
apparently all these famous women want tohave, and they are now being sued
for unfit business practices that block thesales of the so called burken bag.
I knew this was a matter oftime when this was gonna happen. They

(15:07):
had two California plaintiffs allege that inorder to order to even get to buy
this bag, you have to kissthe butt of this company. You have
to purchase so many ancillary products, like they're stupid scarves and all this other
stuff before they even give you theopportunity to buy one of these so called
burken bags that are like twenty fivethirty thousand dollars. I mean that's like
a salary. And so they weresued. They said that it's violating antitrust

(15:33):
laws because they make them chronically unavailable, that it's an unfair business practice,
and that it actually drives up thepower and it gives or drives up the
price, and it gives the defendantstotal market power. So I don't know.
So they're actually petitioning the FTC andthey filed suit. They said the
plaintiff tried to purchase the stupid pursebecause the's are more on multiple times,

(15:56):
but was advised by sales associates tobuy other items first before getting an invitation
to take the back to be ableto buy the bag. And then apparently
you can only buy the one thatthey offer you. Is the it is
the craziest thing I've ever It's likea cult. It's a crazy thing I've
ever heard of. So in additionto that, if you are tired of
crying alone, apparently you can gosomewhere to cry. It's called the New

(16:18):
York sab Parlor and it allows peopleto go into private rooms and cry because
apparently your house isn't enough. Theyliterally cry. It's called the Sob Parlor
in New York City, and they'vebeen getting attention where people can go to
a private room. I don't knowhow much they pay, but they go
and they just like cry, likeno one gives you therapy, no one
counsels you. They don't even giveyou a drink nothing. You just go

(16:40):
and you just you go in thereand cry. Isn't that what your house
is? I'm just saying. Andthey said that, Well, they have
thirty six playlists where you can listento songs. Hi look at Spotify.
They have like, I'm sure theyhave a sad list. I'm sure they
have a sad playlist. That's Thisis the goofiest thing I've ever heard of.
The DC Attorney General has dropped chargeagainst the gold Star Father Steve Niku,

(17:03):
whose son Kareem was killed in thechaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan. It only
makes sense that these charges were withdrawn, particularly when you compare all the charges
that were dropped against those rioters whowere burning and down buildings and vandalizing stuff
during the riots. Stay with us, gold Co. It's for people like

You said quote assault weapons may bebanned because they're extraordinarily dangerous and are
not appropriate for legitimate self defense purposes. Close quote. Tell me what you

(19:17):
meant by assault weapons. Thank you, Senator Kennedy. Just to clarify,
Just to clarify there, I waslocal counsel are Supreme. But you wrote
the brief. Tell me what youmeant by assault weapons, Senator Kennedy.
Actually, I did not write thebrief. The brief was written by you.
Signed the brief though, correct.I signed the brief. Sign a

(19:38):
brief. You're testifying to the courtthat everything in it is is true,
right, yes, and I bookedthere your words in terms of the court.
Right. Well, you're you're correct, Senator Kennedy. I would never
sign what you meant by assault weapons. So I am not a gun expert.
And at the time that brief Ithink was about ten give the court

(20:00):
advice about, say, ban assaultweapons. What is I'm just you told
the court you weren't you were youwere an expert. Just tell me what
you wanted to ban, Senator sittinghere today, as I said, I
did not write that brief. Iwas local counts brief. I understand at

(20:21):
the time maybe what you wanted toban, that's what I want to know.
I don't remember the exact definition ofassault weapon. But she's rubber stamping
this stuff that she doesn't understand whatit means. Why is then she's signing
off on it. So this isthe questioning that was Senator John Kennedy there.
That was the questioning of Biden's seventhCircuit judge nominee, Nancy Maldonado.

(20:47):
And she says, well, I'mnot a gun expert, but she's telling
everyone that, Well, then youneed to a band, you need to
ban assault weapons, then you needto do this. She's rubber stamping on
off pieces of gun control legislation. She's rubber stamping this stuff without even knowing
what the hell it is. Welcomeback to the program, Dana lash with
you at the bottom of this firsthour. The she is, if you're

(21:08):
a bureaucrat, and that goes forthese you know, selected judges from our
politicians, you should know what you'retalking about. If you're aiming to regulate
it. That doesn't seem like acrazy thing to ask. I hear a
third wave feminist all the time complainabout men getting involved and intervening. If

(21:29):
they're trying to seek abortion onto mantaxpayer funded as you know, as birth
control. What and they say,oh, man, you don't know enough
to regulate this. What the helldo you think this is? I love
the you know, the situational requirementsthey have. Anyone who talks about this
stuff, if you have no ideawhat you're talking about, do the world
a favor and shut up. Youdon't. No one has a You don't

(21:51):
have a right to make other peoplevalue your opinion, particularly when you don't
know anything. And this judge, this nominee for the Seventh Circuit, clear
doesn't know. That's scary that youhave someone who's going to make the determination
on what you can do with yourfreedoms based on their complete lack of knowledge
about the thing that you are accessing. That's terrifying. Do your due diligence.

(22:18):
These people who claim that they careso much about this issue, notice
how they're the most ignorant about it. They do the minimal, if any
work required to understand what it isthey're talking about or what they want to
regulate. And this isn't just aninstance of you know, being a snot
and trying to exercise a greater understandingover people, which you know that actually

(22:41):
that's kind of a cell phone. The people who use that as an excuse
for their own ignorance. If youdo not take the time to learn what
it is that you were talking about. Why should the rest of us take
you seriously? If you can't takethe time to learn about the issue that
you want to regulate or ban orwhatever, then why should the rest of
us take any time at all totake you seriously or to give your opinion

(23:07):
air. It goes both ways, which brings me to this Obama appointed federal
judge. This is a crazy story, and so I wrote about this last
night. You can access it overat substack, chapter and verse for you
subscribers. So a judge US DistrictCourt, Judge Sharon Coleman, she's out

(23:30):
of the Northern District of Illinois,no surprise, was referencing lower court ruling.
She dismissed a firearms possession charge againstSiberto Flores, who was illegally in
the United States and was caught witha handgun in Chicago on June first of
twenty twenty. Now Here we arealmost four years later, and this is
now up. Finally there's movement onit. They said that quote, this

(23:56):
is what she wrote. She wasappointed by Barack Obama. This is what
she wrote you in an eight pageruling. Quote the court finds that Flores's
criminal record containing no improper use ofa weapon, as well as the non
violent circumstances of his arrest, donot support a finding that he poses a
risk to public safety such that hecannot be trusted to use a weapon responsibly

(24:17):
and should be deprived of his SecondAmendment right to bare arms and self defense.
Now, as I noted in mypiece, he doesn't have a Second
Amendment right to self defense. Now. I know that there are some like
of the anarco or what is it, the the what they call a narco
capitalist things like that out there,or capital libertarians. I had a very

(24:38):
nice conversation though, with a coupleof them yesterday. I this, to
me is not an issue of gunIt's not so much an issue of gun
control. And I want the rightto be very careful to not get baited
in this, because I feel likethey're trying to bait you, the Left,
into either defending open borders so asto in your mind, protect to
a or to advocate for more guncontrol so as to oppose, you know,

(25:04):
people in the country illegally possessing afirearm. Here's the problem with all
of that. You don't have todo either of them. You don't have
to do either of them. I'veseen people get into nasty arguments with others,
and they people disingenuously arguing that denyingsomeone a Second Amendment right based on
whether or not they are in theUS legally others them or somehow racist,

(25:26):
which is the stupidest thing. I'da bunch of deflective DEI word salad chump,
And the whole point of it isto hook to bait, to hook
unsuspecting, unassuming Second Amendment supporters intodefending this garbage. But like I said,
this individual was in the country illegally. That alone, that's that's in

(25:49):
US. That's in the United StatesCriminal Code. It's eighteen USC. Sub
Section nine twenty two, sub subsectionG. And what this state is that
prohibited persons are identified in this partof the Criminal Code. And this is
for whether or not you agree withthe Gun Control Act or not. And
that's a whole other issue. Andbelieve me, I could wax patriotic about

(26:12):
opposition for a long time, butcertain this law says that you are if
you fall into these categories of persons, then you are not allowed to transport,
receive, possess or anything firearms, ammunition, et cetera. If you're
a fugitive, if you've been convictedof a crime that punishable by imprisonment of

(26:32):
a term that exceeds one year.If you're a drug user, that's hunter
Biden. If you've been adjudicated mentallydefective that's the legal term, or been
involuntarily committed to any kind of mentalinstitution. If you are in illegal alien
in fact, when you feel likeyou're forty four seventy three, that's one
of the questions that you are askedif you are in the country legally and
you're legally able to purchase because thatis a disqualifying factor. And so this

(26:56):
has been law for quite some timenow. That's to me, that's the
issue. This individual violated, wasin the country illegally and is a prohibited
person. I'll be damn if Igot to get a tax stamp to get
a silencer. You beturateable snakes. We're going to go by the letter of
the law on this. Now.This has nothing to do with othering,

(27:17):
and it has nothing to do withany other DEI word salad garbage. Although
I gotta say you got to givethe left some credit. I wrote about
this in my first book, HandsOff My Gun, because they've always been
on the wrong side of history onthis. They've always wanted to disarm minorities,
to disarm women, even to theextent of arguing, as as Chief
Justice Taney shamefully did and dred Scottv. Sandford, that the recognition of

(27:41):
black Americans would automatically affirm their ascitizens, would automaticallyffirm their Second Amendment rights.
Thus they can't be considered citizens aseverybody else flores. This case,
though, is not a case wherecitizenship was denied. He didn't even ask
for it. So that is astraw man argument to claim that this is
somehow and that's the crux of this, that there's discrimination involved, or that

(28:06):
he was othered, or that there'sany sort of any identity political box that
has to be checked. He wasdenied. He wasn't denied anything. He
did not apply. Now here's whereI differ from a lot of people on
stuff I believe. Now let mefinish my thought. I believe that the
Constitution affirms the natural rights of UScitizens. The difference between natural and civil

(28:30):
rights. You all know this.Natural rights you have by nature of being
a citizen of this United States.Whether you become a citizen of the United
States or you were born here, you have these rights. They are not
civil rights, which are created incivil courts by humans and then given with
conditions to other humans. The Constitution, the Bill of Rights, simply affirms

(28:57):
and reasserts the so of those rightswhere it originates in the face of government.
Now here's where I differ from people. This is an issue of we
the people. We were fashioned asa republic and the people who comprised the

(29:18):
republic. Unlike monarchies and everything else, we are the sovereignty because government derives
its authority from the power of ourconsent, we the people. This is
evident not just in the terminology usedin our founding documents, but in the

(29:41):
ancillary debates that were underway by thefounders at the time that these documents were
crafted. Further supported by the Federalistpapers, We the people, we being
the republic, we are the sovereign. The people are the so those outside

(30:03):
of the republic cannot lay claim tothe protections of it. And sadly,
as I mentioned at the start ofthe hour, in this very upside down
world, American jurisprudence is under brutalattack. Our legal system doesn't even want
to define what a woman is.So it's no surprise that they're trying to
change the definition of our republic andwe the people to further erode the people's

(30:30):
sovereignty and our borders. That iswhat this case is about. That is
what this issue is about. Thisflores individual who willingly entered the country illegally,
didn't even ask for citizenship, butdemands the protections via the affirmation in
the face of government from it.He wasn't denied anything. He never sought

(30:56):
it, so he wasn't. Butyou know who is being othered, and
don't let them get this twisted. It's us. It's you. You're being
othered. You're being tossed by thewayside. The respect for the authority of
the people is what is being tossedby the wayside, and they are going

(31:21):
to try to bait you into arguingthat, well, I guess you don't
believe really in natural rights. Ah, but see, our republic affords the
protection to the citizenry. We thepeople a fist in the face of the
government, asserting and demanding that theyrecognize the natural rights that we were endowed
with by our creator as citizens ofthis republic. That's not a discriminatory position.

(31:45):
It's a position of empowerment. Andit is not the people's fault that
this illegal alien chose willingly to goand do everything else but apply for citizenship.
Even so far as getting a lawyerand litigating this issue for years,
he could have been and probably adamn citizen by now. So this is
an attack on American jurisprudence. Donot let them get it twisted and bait

(32:09):
you into making it anything other thanthat. We have a lot more on
the way. Look, if youwant to stay with your old Commi cell
phone service and then you know, wax patriotic about the problems of America,
then by all means, go dothat, but just know that every dollar
that you spend with whatever Commi serviceyou have is it's actually going towards fighting

(32:30):
you and fighting your vote, cancelingyour vote at the ballot box. Patrion

are the days of the United States. I had the dobi sustinction to being

(33:35):
listed as the poorest man in Congressfor thirty six years. I got a
phone call. My wife was campaigningup. I was campaigning up in New
Hampshire back when that statistic came outin the nineties, and she called.
I used to call one because thekids were a little when I was away.
They say, how's everything going.I got this fine. You know

(33:55):
you're in trouble when your wife orhusband says fine. I said, what's
the matter. She said, onlyelected official's husband and wife don't understand.
She said, do you read today'spaper? I said, they don't have
today's paper. Put Wilmington Paper,Delaware up up in h with lee where

(34:16):
I'm was, lady from Vermont, and she said, well, let me
read it top of the fold, headline Biden poorest man in Congress? Is
that true? I said, Idon't know, true, not the tourist
man in Congress. I mean he'sbeen making millions of dollars. I mean,
don't forget, what is it tenpercent for the big guy. They
were making fat bank off of tradinginfluence. There's no other skill or service

(34:39):
that the Biden family provides unless it'ssnorting up white powder like a hoover.
I mean, that's like the onlything I can think of. You know,
they suck more powder than a Dyson. Maybe I don't know, like
something like that, but I meanthe idea that that he's He's not the
poorest guy in Congress. They allget so rich. They all get so

(35:00):
rich, don't they on their powerand authority. Just look at Nancy Pelosi
for crying out loud coming up.This is some of the stuff that we
have to talk about. I don'tknow if you saw this. I was
thinking about I was going to putthis in the headline segment. But now
this guy's written this piece trying toexplain himself. So this former NBC senior
executive made a super creepy statement aboutBaron Trump, and I don't care where

(35:22):
you stand on politics, kids areoff limits. I want to break people's
fingers when I see them go afterkids online. I don't know who they
are. I just let the kidsare not their parents. Don't be anti
biblical and anti Christian and assign thesins of the father to the sins of
the children as the sins of thechildren. Stop it. So this idea,

(35:44):
this NBC executive, he went onabout Baron Trump and made a really
creepy statement. He said, BaronTrump turns eighteen today, He's fair game
now. And now you might think, oh, well, you know,
maybe he was just talking about criticism. Yet no, especially if you read
his previous posts where he fonnd overbaron Trump's appearance and his height and went

(36:09):
on and on about him. They'rescreenshots. It's gross. So this guy's
getting dragged on social media and Imean, why go after the sun?
You absolute perfect groomer, psychopath. Why we're gonna talk about this coming up.
We're also going to get into thesquad off squatting. This is like
a thing like people are our housejacking other people. What would you do?

(36:32):
I mean, I had a questionof can't you just squat on the
squatters, especially in these blue stateswhere they don't allow any kind of recourse.
That's what one guy did. I'mgonna shore this story coming up that
you don't want to miss. We'vegot a lot of stuff still on the
way. Stick with us second hourmoments away as we move our partners who

Tell them Dana sent you. Well, you've been called a highly credible

(37:58):
witness and you're you have a PhDin psychology. You're a professor, you
teach at Palo Alto and Stanford Universities. But even today some people remain skeptical
of your story. And you writethat during the hearing, Senator Lindsay Graham
wouldn't even make eye contact with you. Were you prepared for that kind of
response? I was prepared ahead oftime that they that none of the Republicans

(38:22):
were going to speak with me,and they were going to use an outside
interviewer, And so I was actuallysurprised at how kind some of the other
Republican senators were broke that protocol andsaid, hello, cool, was that?
Give your name a good one?Senator Clake and Senator sass both came
from on Congress anymore, right,Yeah, but still a credit there.

(38:45):
Yeah, it's good for them both, good men. Yeah. Wow,
So that is Do you remember her? She's back, Christine Blasi Ford.
She was the woman that Democrats trottedout and were trying to use to torpedo
Brett Kavanaugh's appointment to the Supreme Court. You all remember that. Welcome back

(39:07):
to the program. Dana Lash herewith you at the top of this second
hour. And I mentioned this lastnight because I saw the Atlantic, I'm
pulling this piece up had written aboutthis, they said, Christine Blosie Ford's
new memoir, because that's why shewas on the View. That was Sarah
Haynes on the View, and shewas making a round. She's promoting she's

(39:29):
got a new book out about hermemoir, probably full of lies like her
testimony and a That's what The Atlanticwas doing. They were promoting her book.
So if I haven't already, welcomeback to the show. You can
find us the simulcast on Channel threeforty seven Direct TV. Listen across the
country. This book. I haveno I can't. This is what The

(39:50):
Atlantic said. They said, theywrote quote Christine, they wrote to Kavanaugh,
spoke after Ford, and the gulfbetween the two testimonies was in retro
speed an omen. She offered evidence, he offered grievance. She spoke science,
he spoke politics. She was piecingtogether fragments of a story, parts
of what she had forgotten. Itwas a control and he was a controlling
He was controlling the narrative. ChristineBlossiford is a liar and she's an embarrassment

(40:16):
who shamefully tried to character assassinate aman with zero evidence, all to prevent
him from getting on the bench. And ironically, this is an example of
the progressive matriarchy that was weaponized forpolitics. Just as described and misattributed by

(40:37):
the Atlantic, this was bitch inc. That's what this was. You don't
tear down men to build up women. I'm so tired of that bs haggary
that masquerades a some perverted form ofquote unquote equality or quote unquote gender justice
or something like that. It's bitchinc. That's what this is, and

(40:59):
that's what tried to do. TheDemocrats wore hand in hand with it.
And the sad thing is is thatit killed the belief that people would normally
have towards actual, real female victimsthat exist, you know, like the
Harvey Weinstein victims and the Jeffrey Epsteinvictims, and the Bill Clinton victims,
all the women that bitchink wanted toignore for their own political and professional advancement.

(41:22):
So please spare me your crocodile tearsover this shameful liar of a woman,
Christine blasi Ford, who discredited herselfmultiple times when she was testifying before
the Senate. I mean, therewere witnesses from that time that spoke in
favor of Kavanaugh. None of ChristineBlasi Ford's, none of her friends,

(41:45):
None of Christine Blosi Ford's friends corroboratedanything she said. Do you remember the
one lady who said, basically shewas making it up. She could not
even remember the date. She madeup some story she is about going to
a party and she witnessed something, except no one ever, actually no one

(42:05):
who was there witnessed it. Andthey said, we don't even remember her
being there. Why would she beinvited? She was the woman? How
much older was she than Brett Kavanaugh? She there was no evidence that they
even met. Christine Blazi Ford Ithink was demonstrably older than Kavanaugh at the
time as well. And I thinkit brought up questions as to why was
there a grun ass woman at acollege kids event? But okay? And
then her friend Leland Kaiser said shedoesn't she didn't believe Ford's story. She

(42:31):
didn't believe her story at all.And then Ford's friends were pressuring Leland Kaiser
to change what she said. Theypressured the woman who said she's lying,
They tried to pressure her to changeher story. I mean, good grief,
Christine Blasi Ford's own father head backedBrett Kavanaugh. He didn't even believe

(42:52):
his daughter's story and everything. Iremember sitting there listening to her speak.
She had no recollection of date oryear or time or anything else. She
had no recollection of if she hadanything to drink there, because she said,
oh, he was like it wastrying to assault her or something.

(43:13):
She had no recollection of anything, nothing. And she never mentioned him until
his name began circulating in the pressas he started ascending higher and higher in
the justice system. Hmm. Shesaid that she had wanted to ruin his
reputation. And when Sarah Haynes said, well, you know, even today

(43:38):
some people remain skeptical of your story, that's because she's a liar. Is
why she's a liar. I meanthis, and it also I think her
book kind of tells on her.I don't believe that she's a smart woman.

(43:59):
I think that she is a cloudchaser, and I think that she
wanted personal and or she wanted professionaladvancement. But this was and she was
encouraged by abortion activists in the farleft and et cetera, et cetera,
et cetera. They went and tookthis believe all victims to the nth degree,
to the point where they robbed realvictims of the benefit of the doubt.

(44:23):
That's what these women did. That'swhat bitch Inc did. Bitch Inc
robbed true women victims of the benefitof the doubt, and they made everybody
suspect. That's what they did. They set women back a century. It's

(44:43):
shameful because there are real female victimsout there, and sadly, they're usually
at the hands of the men thatbitch Inc tries to promote and protect always
because they're predators too, they justdon't want to admit it. Christine Blasie
Ford is a predator. She's notprey. She's a predator. She targeted
a man as a member of theprogressive patriarchy, as a member of bit
Jink. She targeted the man totry to ruin him because she knew she

(45:07):
could play on society stereotypes about women. How ironic she would try to play
to the perception that she was theweaker sex and weaponize that against Breck Kavanaugh,
and they accused him in front ofhis wife and his children. Absolutely

(45:27):
shameful. It's that moment I thinkradicalized an entire generation. And if Democrats
want to bring all this up inan election cycle, by all means,
I beg them too, because itwas a disaster for them. There were

(45:52):
a lot of women out there whoare more moderate women, maybe they identify
second Wave, who thought, youknow, this is a little bit hp
a critical to watch some of theseHollywood actresses come out and demand that everyone
believed Christine plasi Ford while they weresimultaneously defending and cozying up to Harvey Weinstein
so long as he could get themthrough Mirramac's roles and funding for films.

(46:14):
Interesting right, hmm. And soyeah, she's back because it's an election
year, she's I And I thinkit also paved the way for that eging
Carol stuff. I do. Ithink it paved the way for that stuff.
It took believe all women to theyou know, a crazy degree.

(46:36):
So that's where And these women,by the way, who promote this stuff
were also the women who are silentwhen men are invading women's spaces or when
people are invading people's spaces all together. Did you guys hear about this?
So there's a homeowner who was arrestedbecause she changed the locks on her own
home. So it's the New YorkA homeowner and Queens was arrested because she

(47:02):
she inherited this home from her parentsand she was trying to sell it and
these people moved in and house jackedher and they squatted in her house.
She changed she hired a locksmith, she changed the locks back on her property,
and police took the woman Adele Andrelorointo custody because the squatters actually had

(47:23):
the audacity to call the police. It's her house. They're not paying her
rent, they're not paying utilities, and that's the law in New York.
You can't even if you're paying thelight bill. You can't even turn off
the electricity in the house. Becauseyou can get you can get in trouble.
You're supposed to provide these things forsquatters for free. They don't owe

(47:45):
you anything. You have to paytaxes on the property and everything. You
don't get a benefit, you don'tget to have a moratory. I'm on
paying tax on property. But theycan live there for free, and you
have to provide everything. New Yorkstates like New York give people squatter.
There's more rights than the property owners. That's not even in fact, that
is such an under exaggeration of thattruth, and so the police said that

(48:10):
she had to deal with it asa landlord tenant issue. Uh, she
had to for she had to initiatean eviction. An eviction is kind of
a straw man in this case becauseit or it's just about it presupposes that
there was an agreement for these peopleto live there in the first place,
which there was not, nor wastheir consent. The squatters claimed that she

(48:36):
was a burglar. It's her property. This is it's one of the craziest
things I've ever seen. And thisisn't the only instance where stuff like this
has been happening. I mean, there are there are a lot of examples
of this, but this woman, she yeah, it was her. It
was a it's a million dollar housetoo. She got this. It was

(48:58):
her parents' house. She can't eventurn off the utilities. She has to
provide the water, the electricity, everything. She can't turn any of it
off. What if she couldn't affordit. What if she inherited her parents'
home and she couldn't afford to assumethe she couldn't afford to assume any of

(49:21):
the bills for it. What happenedwhat would happen. So now she has
to go through this very lengthy processof having them evicted. Now my thought
was, well, can't you justlike squat on the squatters, Like,
isn't that something that you can do. Well, that's what one guy did.
New York Posts had this story. This was from last year. This
was a man in Nevada. Hewent this So his mother lived in California,

(49:45):
This Nevada man, his mother passedaway and or his father passed away.
His mother couldn't live in the familyhome, so they put the house
up for rent. And there wasa woman who reached out to the guy,
said she wanted to rent the house, but she couldn't pay, and
she had no credit, and shehad no documents or anything like that,
and so he declined her. Butshe showed up and moved into the house

(50:07):
with all her furniture anyway, andall the realtors were telling him, did
you agree to allow because he hadcontracts with realtors, They're like, did
you agree to allow this woman tomove in your home? He said no.
Then the neighbors started telling him.The Sheriff's department told him there was
nothing they could do. So whathe did was he squatted the house back.

(50:28):
He wrote up a lease agreement withhis mother, making him the legal
tenant. He loaded up his car, set off to California, waited for
them to leave a day, enteredwhile they were out, and then he
ended up being to squatter and hemade them leave and they left. Now
he was like, it's not alwaysgoing to be peaceful like that, No,
because I mean, if you Ithink that you should, I believe

(50:50):
in castle doctrine. Personally, Ithink if you're gonna fa, you're gonna
fo, and you'll leave in abag. That's how I look at it.
This is just crazy. It's crazythat people have to do this again,
an attack on American jurisprudence. AsI was telling you about in the
first hour. We have a lotmore on the way because there's this is
an epidemic. The squatting thing iscrazy. I have a million stories like
this. I'm not kidding. It'sa ton of them. Our partners,

Nelson Peltz is backing the former presidentDonald Trump for twenty twenty four Peltses in
Palm Beach, And curiously enough,he's the father in law of David and

(52:59):
Victoria Beckham oldest son, so there'sa little there's some there's some overlap there.
Very interesting. But he's also beenbeen waging war on Disney too and
taking over that Disney board, andthey've been firing barbes at him, but
I don't think they're going to bevery successful. Very interesting. Also this
let's see here, ooh, staffat a Virginia wildlife center pretend to be

(53:22):
red foxes as they care for anorphan fox because apparently that's the thing.
I guess it imprints that's almost tooclose to Frari's for me. Or it
could also be like a viral thatone viral video years ago, a woman
found a live grenade while cleaning outher deceased father's home. This was in
Montreal. She's just going through, you know, her her late father's stuff,

(53:44):
cleaning out the house, this sadprocess, and she said that,
you know, while she was goingthrough all of this, she opened up
a toolbox and right there in thetoolbox was a grenade. She wasn't really
sure what the best course of actionwas. She was like, do we
drive it to the police. She'slike, I really don't want to touch
it. So they called the policetheir non emergency line and they were immediately

(54:04):
transferred to the emergency line, andthe first thing that they were asked was
quote, okay, are you guysnot touching it? Like, don't touch
it, right, don't touch it? So they actually had to wait.
They go like a whole crew thatarrived, including Canadian Armed forces, and
the guy said, and remember,no, no touching it. She's like,
I have no plans on touching it, no plan. I don't want
to pick it up. So theyhad a detonator and everything it was in

(54:27):
tax that they secured it, loadedit and went off and everybody's safe now.
But that's kind of funny how theywere very nervous about those ladies.
Let's say a YouTube a YouTuber wasarrested for allegedly applying snake venom as a
party drug. Wow, that isI think anything for clicks, right,
So apparently this guy's got millions ofYouTube subscribers was detained under the Wildlife Act.

(54:47):
According to an Indian broadcaster INDETV,he was at a party in November.
It was rated. Apparently they wereall using snake venom. I guess
it's like a hallucinogenic or something.I don't know. The annalligator ice the
size of a man with sees.If you're being illegally kept in a home,
that's kind of terrifying. It isa huge, huge alligator eleven feet
and it was allowed to swim withother people in the water. The guy

(55:12):
says it's a pet and its team. It's also a gator, you know.
So we got a lot more onthe way. Stick with us,
elevate your commute workouts or downtime withthe Dana show podcast unleash the power of
knowledge at your fingertips by following Danaon Apple, Spotify or wherever you get
your podcasts. Well, I watchedthe gap. One of the first clicks

(55:34):
I do when I get up inthe morning, which probably isn't a sign
of a healthy person, is preciselyon this gas price. So I track
this very closely, and I thinkperhaps more importantly at CEA, we're always
looking at the underlying factors to getto your question. So one part of
this is seasonality. In this timeof the year, there's a switch from
the winter to the summer blend thatputs some upward pressure on price. We

(55:58):
had a big refinery, I'm offlinein Indiana. It's going back online,
so that should provide some relief. And of course the conflict in the Middle
East has raised the price of abarrel of oil by a bit north of
ten dollars a barrel, and soall of those factors are coming into play
here at Yeah, all of thosefactors. So this is this is one
of Biden's surrogate's trying to explain whyit is. This is Bernstein, He's

(56:22):
say no, it seasonality in theMiddle East, conflict for the increasing gas
prices without noting that you know, here we have the issue with refineries,
which Democrats have been for perpetual oppositionto for some reason. You know,
well we know why, as wellas this demand this evy mandate. Welcome
back to the program, Dana Lashwith you bottom of this second hour.

(56:44):
And with this, I keep readingabout how his auto emission rules keep hitting
snags here and there. He's Iexplained a little yesterday that he is sort
of kind of another gun a littlebit because he needs to he needs to
not make the US Spelton MAB,but he also has to keep the greenees
happy. And so they had theseemissions restrictions from passenger vehicles that the EPA

(57:08):
was pushing through, but the administrationactually was I think they intervened because it
was hurting them in Michigan particularly, but they were also they're they're also having
a problem with nobody wants the evs. Nobody wants evs, they don't want
them. But Biden's still not goingto stop with the attempted murder of the
combustion engine. He's not going tostop. Uh. And so in addition

(57:30):
to this, let me start withthis some of the bad policy coming up.
So we have the suspension of theL and G leases, et cetera,
that export ban, so that's underinvestigation right now by House Republicans.
They are saying that the President isyou know, I mean, he did
weaponize this. That was a thatwas a way to kick Texas, which
is the net exporter because of theborder issue. So that also you know,

(57:53):
in terms of energy prices, thatalso plays into all of this.
And then this piece that came out, there's a couple of pie pieces that
came out because he's been trying tocrack down doing whatever whatever is possible to
push people into super expensive evs.You have the administration I just was telling

(58:17):
you about this emissions rule. Theywant to phase out gas cars, as
you know, they want to makesure that the majority of vehicles sold are
evs or at least hybrids by twentytwenty three, and they're looking to increase
the rules that they're looking at pushingthrough on all of us. They would
like to increase evs from seven pointsix to fifty six percent of sales in

(58:38):
twenty twenty three. This is notsomething that's supported by the market, as
you know. This is going todestroy people financially because it is a horrific
policy for consumers. It is ahorrible policy for consumers. The proposal,
this specific proposal that had to dowith EV mandates and all of this stuff

(59:01):
the EPA pushed through. They thisincentivization of adoption of EV's they everybody's.
They was introduced first in I thinkApril of last year, and they had
already submitted in January this month theirfinancial their final regulations to the White House
for review. Uh, but nowthey're having to go to the alternative C

(59:24):
approach. They went through Plan Band now they're on play and C because
the rust belts reacting to it andpeople's pocketbooks are reacting to this. This
is not something that that they're goingto be able to actually, Uh,
they're not going to be able toto to the America can't handle this.
I mean to outlaw the car. You're going to be basically have your attack
your car. My friend Stephen grainOver at PGA Media had a really good

(59:46):
piece on the e PA specifically withthese new rules with gas and diesel powered
cars and light trucks, because theywere apparently today they were going to release
these you know, final emissions rulesthat would still require like two thirds of
this twenty twenty twenty three sales, sorry, twenty thirty two sales by them

(01:00:07):
to be all electric. I willnot drive an electric vehicle out of spite.
I like gadgets too, but Ijust out of spot. I don't
like it. I don't like havingto be tethered to an outlet. I
don't like it that. I mean, there's not a charger you know that
you can just portable charger that youcan take other The batteries are heavy,
they're super expensive in many instances. In fact, most instances, they're more
expensive than the car. When it'stime to replace, cold depletes it quickly.

(01:00:29):
There's a number of factors. It'sjust not something that is a reality
or doable for every American. Andthe cost of them. And I just
think, if I'm being honest, evs are hella ugly. They are ugliest,
sin ugly, ugly, ugly. And my husband loves EV's. He
thinks that, you know, it'sgreat, it's the Marvel. It's the
fastest car. You know, ifyou want to go from zero to plaid

(01:00:51):
in like five seconds. Yeah,it's great, you know, or point
five seconds. It's great, butI still know I like my regular gas
power vehicle. I like that.I will I mean, you'll have to
send me to jail. That'll bethe thing that I hold out on the
longest. It's not it'll never happen, never going to happen. At some
point they'll tie in license plates tothis. If Democrats get their way,
they will make it to where inorder to even have your car street legal,

(01:01:13):
you'll it'll have to be an EV. I'm just waiting for it.
I feel like this stuff with theEPA is the first step with it.
But they said, yeah, bytwenty thirty two, they wanted two thirds
of the cars, new ones, the new cars to be all electric.
They're going to turn this into likeCuba because of you know, Cuban cars.
They're like the old school cars becausethey had to be and people have
gotten really, really good at maintainingolder vehicles. We're going to turn into

(01:01:35):
that if they if they push this, everybody's going to be driving the older
vehicles that are much more affordable andeasier to maintain than the EV stuff.
So they're they're requiring car makers, you got to cut your emissions by whatever
fifty two percent between twenty seven andthirty two. That's going to push everything
into ev territory. Uh so that'llmake up you know that, plus the
light trucks of new vehicles will makesixty seven percent of it by twenty thirty

(01:01:59):
two. And they said that theyhave gotten pushback though, some strong pushback,
they said, strong rebuttal from manufacturersand dealerships and all this other stuff.
And apparently they weren't. I guessthey thought that people were going to
be much more amenable to their theirregulation. But they're not. But we

(01:02:20):
don't I mean the charging infrastructure thatalone. I mean, for crying out
loud. In California, they haverolling brownouts because they tell people don't run
your dishwasher in the afternoon. InTexas, every when it gets super hot,
we get these kind of these warningswhere it's like, oh, well,
don't run this at this time,or makes you know, conserve elect
No, no, no, nono. Can you imagine if everybody has

(01:02:42):
to plug in their vehicle, Ifyou make everyone have to plug in their
vehicle, we do not have theinfrastructure for it. It isn't doable.
Now. If it gradually organically movesthat way, fine, but right now,
the EV is the avatar of badpolicy. This is like Atlas Shrugged
when they were all going to soybeansand then they were trying to get away
from like all of the stuff thatpeople actually could live with and was doable

(01:03:05):
and practical and affordable. This isjust dumb. And Toyota they've I don't
know, like some of these manufacturerslike put Ford pause manufacturing. Toyota is
keeping like hybrid, so they arefocusing a little less on all electric and
looking at more hybrid. But alot of people they're not selling. These
are not selling. Tesla's growth stalled. They're not selling, and they're and

(01:03:31):
the government's giving them billions and billionsand billions and billions and billions of tax
credits for EV purchases, and that'splateaued. So these things are not moving
because people are not attracted to them. I mean, to have to sit
here and plug and then be limitedto however far you can go, and
then have to make sure that youcan go plug in your vehicle, and

(01:03:52):
then you can't just plug in anywhere. I mean, it has to be
something that's fitted to be able tohandle, you know, the amount of
power required to charge up the vehicle. I mean, it's not just as
easy as you know, as theytry to make, they elimin, they
omit all of this stuff when theyare trying to push the public onto this.
It's just so dumb. It's sodumb. But all of this is

(01:04:14):
to boost EV sales. But Ihave a story. Here's the CNBC.
EV euphoria is dead. Automakers byand large, kind of an exception,
as I mentioned, was Toyota, although they're they're kind of looking at more
at hybrids. But automakers are scalingback or they're delaying all their EV plans
and expansions. Everything everybody from Mercedesto Jaguar to Aston Martin to Afford,

(01:04:39):
everybody's been scaling back or just delayingaltogether any kind of EV plans or push.
And they are looking at more ofhybrids and then uh, you know
regular you know, the basic youknow, gas powered vehicle. And they
said that hype is dwindled. Youknow why the hype dwindled. Hype always
dwindles when it meets the rock ofreality. Hype. Actually, the reality

(01:05:04):
is the rock against which the waveof hype crashes. So is it true
with this? But yeah, evenTesla stall. They said that they're bracing
already for what they're considering a notablylower rate of growth. That's something that
Musks said back in January, theywere imagining. They had said that they

(01:05:25):
estimated about to account for about fiftyfive percent of ev sales in the country
in twenty three, but they saidit's going to be a lot slower.
The growth is going to be alot slower after that, and with other
vehicles the same. But hybrids arestill actually hybrids are actually still at pacing
evs. The total evs and hybridssold in the United States, looking from
twenty seventeen to twenty twenty three, hybrids have outpaced EVS bias pretty sizable amount

(01:05:50):
literally the entire time, the entiretime, and they I mean it's been
it's been interesting. I mean it'sbeen about I don't know, several hundred
thousand different in sales. So they'resaying, well, maybe a balanced approached
is better. But that's not whatthat's not what Biden promised, that's not
what he promised the Greenies, andit's not what he promised his bass.

(01:06:13):
He said full on evs, that'swhat he said. So coming up We've
got some cultural stuff. First off, you have Seattle was mad because its
residents went out and enjoyed the sunshine, and they were mad because they said
that you shouldn't be enjoying the niceweekend, you should be lamenting for climate
or something like that. I know, I get it. It's so the

(01:06:35):
dumbest thing ever. Also, thereliterally is a debate over I can't believe
it, but there is should straightactors allowed to be able to play gay
roles? This is a joke, right, it's acting, It's not reality.
And twenty twenty four be warned aboutthe enthusiasm deficit GOP. It's his

(01:06:58):
laugh mission to make bad decisions. It's time for Florida man. So I
just saw this one. This isfrom TMZ and this is hysterical. So
John Taffer, who's been on theshow, in fact, one of my
favorite shows is Bar Rescue because I'velearned so much and it's hysterical. But
he is now he's suing a guywho has been impersonating him. So a

(01:07:21):
guy is getting sued because he's beenimpersonating Bar Rescue star John Taffer and in
Florida Bars. This is the craziestthing i've ever heard. So there's a
guy going around Florida bars and restaurantspretending to be him, and apparently he's
like being super shady with chicks whilehe does it. It's a federal lawsuit.
The guy's name is Vic carol Leo. He's been passing himself off as

(01:07:45):
John Taffer around Naples for more thanthree years and has been bragging all over
social media about the likeness. Likehe even commented on want of John Taffer's
post saying my twins. So theysay he kind of looks like him,
but not really. And he hasgotten credit cards with the name John Taffer.
Apparently he's even used him to payfor dinner. H and oh my

(01:08:10):
gosh. And so he's been Nowhe's got a lawsuit. I feel like
he's not. The guy who's beenimpersonating Taffer is going to lose at this.
That's that is creepy. That issuper creepy. A yikes, this,
let's see this. Florida man isaccused of stabbing and punching men during

(01:08:30):
a religious debate at a gas stationPalm Coast, Florida. A conversation between
strangers in Flagger County at a gasstation turned violent when a man allegedly stabbed
and punched the other men as thediscussion turned to religion. Hunter death Row,
Oh wow, is it really hisname? Death A Row? Of
course it is. Twenty two yearold from Palm Coast was arrested in charge
with two counts of aggravated battery witha deadly weapon after the incident at a

(01:08:55):
circle k on Palm Coast. Theysaid that one of the victims was Buddhist.
Cut off, cut him off ashe tried to speak about his religious
views, and I guess as aform of witness, he decided to punch
and stab the guy. That's justbad witness. It's just bad witness.
I'm just saying. The victims sustainedmultiple lacerations to his neck and back.
He had a deep puncture wound onhis left side. Everybody was taken to

(01:09:17):
the hospital. This is so ridiculous. This dude, though the main is
the main antagonist is in Flagger Countyjail on three hundred thousand dollars bond.
Just why are people like this?Just why? Ah? This is the
one I wanted to get to.This was yesterday. My gosh, I

(01:09:39):
hate I hate this computer. Rightnow it's very slow. So this comes
from the UK and the story isthat this Florida man was pretending to be
a Disney World staffer so he couldsteal these famous I guess character costumes.
He pretended to be working a securityjob and he he stole like some character

(01:10:00):
stuff and a statue. I don'tknow how you steal a statue, but
David Emerson Proudfoot did that. He'sfacing third degree grand theft charges and obstruction
by false information. He wore aDisney name tag and tried to steal an
R two D two statue worth upto ten thousand dollars, and they said
he confused. Proudfoot was allegedly spottedpushing a cart while leaving one of the

(01:10:25):
hotels there. He identified himself withthe name of someone who didn't work there.
It was Walt Disney World, andhe was moving the statue in a
game machine on the property. Butthey're like, you're not moving this,
you're taking it, and he was. He was in fact moving it to
his own wherever he lived. That'swhat he was doing. He was moving
it. Oh this golly, thisis one of the goofiest stories. So

(01:10:45):
a man was shot by a dudewho mistook him for a turkey. That's
a stretch for me, this dude. This was again Flagger County. They're
really getting it This week. Aman was shot by a guy who mistook
him for a turkey while out turkeyhunting. The guy called nine one one
the hunter who said he was turkeyhunting. He saw three female turkeys in

(01:11:08):
the road and he followed him andhe found the male turkey and that's when
he fired a shotgun and then hewas like, wait a minute, that's
a decoy. And then someone screamedthat they had been shot. He was
taken to Daytona beach. Did theguy have on orange? You need to
have one orange. So they saidthat it was in Florida. Fish and
Wildlife they got involved with us.They're still investigating and they don't know yet.

(01:11:31):
They haven't actually said up the hunter. This is only like two days
ago. If the hunter is goingto be charged in this incident, but
yeah, that's Klee. This isjust so crazy. That's a crazy story.
A man made a horrifying discovery becausehe noticed toes sticking out of the
ground in his garden. That soundshorrific. This was in Jacksonville, Florida.

(01:11:57):
And I don't know if it's goingto redirect and pull up. This
is timkinbout ready to throw this computeracross the room. The Florida resident was
doing work on his backyard. Hesaw toes sticking out of the ground and
then there were human toes. Yeah, as you can imagine, they had
to dig all that up. Stickwith us. We have our third hour
on the way. We'll get evening. Great to be with you. It's
a deeply troubling decision from the extremeconservatives on the Supreme Court. It's clear

(01:12:25):
that we have a broken immigration system. We've acknowledged that, and that we
need to address the challenges at theborder. We believe that we should address
those challenges in a clear eyed, comprehensive way, in a manner consistent with
our values as a nation of immigrantsand a nation anchored in the rule of
law. We need a strong, secure, and humane border. What we're

(01:12:49):
seeing from many of our Republican colleaguesis that they don't want to actually address
the issue. They just want toengage in political stunts. That's a Keem
Jeffries who is not actually portrayed asbefore, and that was that Texas immigration
law. By the way, he'snot actually portraying that in a correct manner
because it never allowed for deportation. It was their rest and attention. A

(01:13:12):
deportation is something that the federal governmentasserted it's right over assuming when it was
going after Jane Brewer when she wasgovernor of Arizona, and that was over
ten years ago. So yeah,it doesn't actually fully go and go all
that way. Furthermore, a decisionlast night from the Fifth Circuit when we
left you, the s before wasallowed to go ahead and go into effect

(01:13:39):
until the lower courts figured it out. That was Piscotas. But now the
Fifth Circuit last night put it ona hold again. So that's the latest.
Welcome back to the program, Danalast year with you, we're at
the top of this third hour, and that was last night, Fifth Circuit
Court of Appeals they put another stayon the law from it being enforced.

(01:14:00):
They were supposed to have a discussionor a meeting this morning, but that's
the latest for it. That's SBfour. So it wasn't effect until it
wasn't. It was very short lived. This is a very short lived thing.
So it's gonna they're going to battleit out in the courts. It's
asinine that you wouldn't even be ableto do that. Honestly, illegal entry
into the United States should be afelony. I think it should be a

(01:14:21):
felony action. I think that itshould be a felony charge. I am
completely fine with it being treated likethat. I also think that in addition
to it, certain parts of theimmigration system need to be entirely overhauled.
People who are skilled, who arelooking to, you know, create a
new way of life, and addat the tax base, race families here,

(01:14:42):
all of that stuff tend to voteconservative. Those yeah, I want
I want to reform because those thoseare the people that you want to add
to the American citizen ry. Butthis stuff, with this illegal all of
the illegal crossings and everything else, and the crime that results from it,
No, no, no, itneeds to be made into a felony for
a number of reasons. But sothat's the latest with that. You had

(01:15:03):
some of that on your prep emailthat I sent out to you this morning
if you're a subscriber over at chapterand verse on sub stack, I sent
a lot of good stuff out toyou on that and there are a couple
of other pieces that have gone out. Another one out today. So the
looking at some of the the policyon this, I've got more the four

(01:15:28):
day work week that Bernie Sanders ispushing. I want to skip right into
the cultural aspect of this, becausethis is one of the craziest things I've
ever read. Now, I hadthis as a headline, maybe it was
either for Friday of last week ormaybe it was Monday, about how the
news that Niger was going to revokeits military agreement with the United States,

(01:15:53):
because that seemed kind of significant. There there's been a battle over radical Islam
in Africa and different terrorist groups. There's been a push back in and back
and forth with this, and soNiger had announced this was the guardian their
military I guess representation, however youwant to put it. They announced that

(01:16:18):
they were they were revoking this dealallowing US bases on their soil, and
so that is it was their militaryjunta that they have over there, and
they were saying that the coup governmentstopped short of calling for American personnel to

(01:16:40):
leave, but they said their presenceviolates their sovereignty. Now that was kind
of weird. How all of thiscame about right, like, well,
while all of a sudden, you'reexpelling, you're revoking consent for this agreement.
Why what happened that led to this? You know, I'm reading this
piece and it talks about how thisyou know, coup government seized power July

(01:17:02):
last year. They kicked out Frenchand other European forces. They were turning
to Russia for some support, andthey said, now they regret the intention
of the American delegation to deny thesovereign Nigerian people the right to choose their
partners, et cetera. And theydidn't say that US forces should leave.
But now I mean, there's likean about phase. Well then the backstory

(01:17:27):
came out. I kid you not. I almost thought this was a joke
if it had not come from thesesources. This is from the Wall Street
Journal. So there were Wall StreetJournal and then it was all I gotta
also give a head tip to EuropeanConservative as well. According to the Wall

(01:17:47):
Street Journal, you had two women, you had Malli Fee and Celeste will
Lender. So they were apparently Americanofficials who were visiting Niger, and apparently
it was a disastrous visit. Sothey went to go and meet the men

(01:18:11):
behind the coup government in Niger, the guys who had successfully taken over the
government in July of last year.Right, And they were supposed to be
there to talk about the need torestore democracy and how to stop and maybe
they should not talk to Iran aboutproviding it with uranium. Maybe don't do
that, Oh my gosh. Butaccording to The Wall Street Journal, the

(01:18:38):
two women made the officials in Nigermad because they apparently spoke to them in
a quote condescending way. This iswhat happens, as was said Rod Dreyer
said, this is what happens whenyou have a culture war affect real war.

(01:19:03):
I mean, this is one ofthe craziest things. So these they
can I be honest, these womensound like a couple of Karens and they
go over there. Celeste Wallander isthe Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security
Affairs, and Molly Fee is theAssistant Secretary at Department of State. I

(01:19:26):
believe State Department's Bureau of African Affairs. And so Nigerian officials say, well,
they talk to us in a condescendingway, and it was just a
disastrous visit. The Hill also hassome of this as well. They said

(01:19:53):
that the officials were raising alarm withthis coup government over this deal that would
give Iran access to nige urine uranium. And then apparently they were just mean
and condescending when they were talking toit, and it made them mad.
So now because you have this disastrousand apparently the way that it was written

(01:20:15):
in in there in these in thesedifferent reports is that these two women apparently
this is what happens when you haveKaren's going over and dealing with men in
a in a not a Western nationthat maybe have a little bit more non
Westernized views over women in government andwomen in leadership positions, and they interpret

(01:20:38):
everything to be to be sexism andblah blah blah, you know, my
power, my truth and all thisstuff. That's kind of what it feels
like when that's that's the intimation ofthis, That is the intimation. And
this paragraph, this was from rodreOver, European conservative. He's said three

(01:21:00):
summers ago he went over and spokewith African female lawmakers at a political event
in Italy, and he said thesewomen had very strong opinions about Western cultural
colonialism. He said all three wereChristians, but they did not and they
did not like the encroachment that Chinawas making in Africa. But he said
that they all agreed that the EUand the US they are hurting their own

(01:21:25):
interests because they won't accept cultural normsin some of these other countries, specifically
as it relates to negotiations, meetingall of this other stuff. And that's
exactly what I got from this WallStreet Journal piece, Like these women just
did not like the fact that, you know, these are dudes that operate
in a different culture. They wouldcall it toxic max masculinity. This is

(01:21:45):
what happens when the culture work getsout of control. So now here's the
problem. This is this was animportant alliance in the heart of a real
that is being battled over by Islamicterrorists for influence, and you got China

(01:22:06):
wanting to expand on this continent. This is and now in Russia, the
fact that Niger is now cozing upto Russia that gives them significant footing in
this part of the world. Thatmakes it easier for Iran to gain access
to this uranium. Also, whenyou have a diplomatic situation, you can't

(01:22:29):
be sending your karens over there theysent these Karens over there, and it
sounds like these Karens went over thereand ran their mouths and lectured these dudes,
and the dudes didn't appreciate it.So they said get out. That's
what it sounds like when you havethat much on the line. I mean,
that's and you have to respect that. Again. This is about moving

(01:22:51):
the ball forward. It's game ofthrones. You gotta play the game of
thrones. It's about moving the ballforward. Like when they had the American
ambassador to Niger, remember when theyhad the story, where was this said,
I have this? They raised thepride flag at the embassy and Niger,

(01:23:12):
this is a Islamic country. Theyraised the pride flag at an embassy
in an Islamic country. And thenyou think that you're going to go and
negotiate to keep a toll hold thereto keep out China and Russia and to
protect national security interest to stop Iranfrom getting uranium? Are you morons?
But this is what happens when theculture war affects real life. European Conservative

(01:23:38):
has a great write up of this. Wall Street Journal has a great write
up of this. This is oneof the craziest things that I've ever read.
You're gonna have this in your prepemail. Read it. It is.
It is worth the read, It'sworth the read. But I cannot
even I mean, that's just thatis unbelievable. When there is that much
on the line, you can't sendyour wreck team. You can't and you

(01:24:01):
can't use your position as a diplomatto pressure them about things that go against
their cultural norm, particularly if thisis about thwarting Iran's expansion into nuclear weaponry.
And now all of the news youwould probably miss. It's time for
Dana's Quick five. A swarm ofbees halted the Indian Wells Open tennis tournament

(01:24:26):
in California. Apparently they appeared, went after the players, the umpire,
the officials, and some of thecrowd. Everyone had to flee the scene.
It was mass chaos. They wereeven all over the camera that it
seems actually funny. I think it'sfunny. It was between Carlos Algarez and
Alexander Zebrev and it had to besuspended. Thousands of bees invaded the court.

(01:24:46):
Don't you have to get like thembee keepers out to deal with that.
I think this was in oh SouthAfrica. Literally, it's a theme
part called Crocodile Creek. I'm already, like already, my alarm is going
off. A shocked crocodile handler almostlost his Franken beams when a fifteen foot

(01:25:10):
croc bit him between the legs afterhe was after the man stupidly poked him
with a stick in the enclosure. It's a nile crocodile, largest living reptile,
has the most powerful fite force inthe world, suddenly whipped his head
around. He didn't appreciate being pokedwith a stick for the enjoyment of tourists
who were horrified by the way,and began screaming as the giant croc kept

(01:25:34):
the handler pin down. He didmanage to stand and the beast with sixty
four teeth released, allowing him torun to safety. But he fayed and
then he foed. He almost foedall the way, so woo my goodness,
that's kind of yeah. And thenthere was a dude who was swallowed
by thirteen foot crock. He wassaved when his wife beat the thing over

(01:25:55):
the head as it thrashed around tryingto drown him at the South African Fishing
Spot. That woman's your rider downlike that lady right there. If she's
going to take on a crop foryou, she's your ride and die forever.
Let's see NFL fans who went tothe Really it was in the negatives
the Taylor Swift game. Sorry sorry, I mean the football game with Taylor
Swift there Kansas City. Apparently thereports are coming out now that tons of

(01:26:19):
football fans across Kansas City had tobe treated for frostbite due to the eleven
day cold snap at the beginning ofthe year. Taylor Swift was in the
million dollar, multimillion dollar box.She wasn't out there with the poors.
Come on, she wasn't out there. Let's see this. Oh, hundreds
of pounds of pasta was mysteriously dumpedin the woods in New Jersey. Mounds

(01:26:43):
of it. It was near ariver basin in Old Bridge, New Jersey.
Hundreds of pounds of quipasta were dumpedin the area. Their origins remain
a mystery. One woman who ranfor city council in the town of sixty
six thousand posted images of it ina Facebook group thank the public for cleaning
it up. Estimated that it wasabout five hundred pounds. It is an
absolute mess. But I mean,if it's biodegradable, do you really have

(01:27:05):
to clean it up? I mean, is it bad? But they said
that the they were talking about thewaterway's got to be cleaned up in the
environment, et cetera. Some peoplethought it was funny, but I don't
know, I really don't care.I've really it's past. It's biodegradable to
food. The bugs will eat it. Like, let's like, we have
bigger things in life to care about. Good night. Ooh, knew James

(01:27:27):
Bond. Well, the rumor isis that the guy who was in Bullet
Train, Aaron Taylor Johnson, isnow that he's been formally offered the chance
to play James Bond, and thathe the rumors that he may sign contracts
within the week. I liked IdrisElba, but apparently the requirement was that
you have to like essentially attach yourselfto James Bond for fifteen years, So

(01:27:49):
you have to have like that lifespanto be able to age within the role.
And you know, Idris Elba's fiftyone years old. They're like,
oh, he's too old for aBond candidate. But he already ruled himself
out because he was focusing on hiscrime drama Luther. So Aaron Taylor Johnson,
it looks like he's going to beJames, but I think he would
be a good James Bond. Thedirector and the people behind it said it

(01:28:11):
had to be a brit So we'llsee. We have more on the way.

Well, the contrast is pretty clear. I mean, my record, as
Claire knows, is to reach acrossthe island, get things done, whether

(01:28:33):
it was the Packed Act, whetherit was the Chips Act, whether it's
fighting fentonyl at the border and keephim sanctioning China and Mexico and keep getting
his stuff off our out of ourcountry and off our streets. And my
opponent is always looked out for himself. He's even said he's not going to
work with people whom he disagrees within Washington, which means he's not fighting

(01:28:54):
for Ohio. He's not representing Ohio, and I ain't the best example of
that is even though Ohio strongly decisivelyimportantly passed abortion rights con social mement by
thirteen points last fall, my opponentcontinues to say that we should have a
national abortion band. No, noexceptions for rate, no exceptions for life

(01:29:14):
of the mother. Well that's nottrue. Number one. Number two,
I don't like Sharad Brown. Idon't I have a story. Welcome back
to the program. Bottom of thisthird hour, Dani Lash here with you,
Steve. I don't think I cansay exactly on air what I said
on break can I Cane's out,so technically no one can stop me because
Wan can't get over here fast enough. Oh I just made Steve nervous.

(01:29:38):
I can't say that right like whatI said on break. So I don't
like Sharad Brown. I think he'sa male copulatory organ. He's a Richard
completely. I met him in RhodeIsland. I crashed the net roote.
I didn't crash. I just straightup went and bought a ticket and went

(01:29:59):
in the net Roots event, whichis where when all the left used to
get together to weep anash teeth overhow successful the right was online. And
this was back like in two thousandand nine, when all this was going
down O eight oh nine, youknow, twenty ten, all that good
stuff, and went up there andI had a question for him on Obamacare.
Actually this is probably more like twentytwelve, I think when I asked

(01:30:20):
him this question, because Obamacare hadpassed and he was, you know,
basically one of the big deciding votesfor in the Senate. And the left
was freaking out because they realized thata small group of US Conservatives had gone
to Rhode Island to attend net rootsand it was wild. It was like

(01:30:40):
walking into the Star Wars canteena rightit. You walk in there and there's
it was crazy, just crazy, like Marxist openly being pro Marxist, and
socialist openly being pro socialist. Andthen Elizabeth Warren got chased off the stage
by a bunch of Indigenous Americans whowere like, why are you lying about
being Indian? It was weird. So I saw Sharrod Brown walking around and

(01:31:05):
I had, you know, likemy little press, microphone and all that
stuff, and I went up toask him a question and someone intervened and
said, oh, that's this, said no, Senator, that's Dana lash
Uh. And I said, Senator, I just have a question for you.
And he looked at me and screamedin my face, No, I
am not talking to you. Iwas with Caleb Howe, who's at Mediaite

(01:31:29):
right now, and Cale Howe wasstating it right there with me and then
shared Sharron Brown turns around and stopsoff. He screamed in my face.
And I wasn't aggressive. I wassuper polite. I was very respectful.
But he lost his mind. SoI can say from absolute witnessed experience that

(01:31:51):
Sharad Brown is a richard. Soanyway, Ohio, So in Ohio,
Bernie Moreno won the Republican nomination forSenate. He's going to face off against
Brown this November. And this he'sgot, he's got some good endorsements.

(01:32:15):
He's got Jim Jordan who's endorsing himas well. He's got you know,
he checks all the boxes for hisendorsements. This is gonna be kind of
you know, one of these uh, one of these primaries to watch.
And I don't think that there's youknow, Brown's he's a formidable opponent.
But you know, also this isyou know, Ohio, you know could

(01:32:39):
go. The economy has been rough. People aren't happy with Biden. You
know, this could have some downticket advantages. So we're going to see
how that works. And the Imean, Ohio is important. Here's one
of the things though, this isABC. Nearly half of the Hayley voters

(01:33:03):
in Ohio said they backed said theywould back Biden according to preliminary exit polls.
They said two in ten to asmany as three inten Republican primary voters
in Ohio who had supported Haley saidthat they would back Biden in November.
Okay, well you know that,I mean, you kind of knew she

(01:33:24):
was pulling from the center in fromthe left. So that's not a surprise.
One thing that I do want totell you one and I want I
warn you about. And I've beenseeing this in a couple This is in
Virginia and also saw it in acouple of other There was a hint of
it in Iowa, but there's alsoa couple a couple of other places where
I think it's safe to say thatit is something that I think that the

(01:33:45):
Republican Party in the R and Cneeds to maybe make sure they're keeping an
eye on. Is the enthusiasm anyenthusiasm deficit? Now there's a couple of
things for this. I think acouple of or at least a big qualifier
for this it is I think thishas been the earliest that any primary has

(01:34:06):
ever really kicked off, and thedeficit could be I think it's easier for
people who are against Trump to say, well, the deficit is because they
don't like Trump, and could bealso that it's a deficit from people are
so tired of the election already, because the primary has been going for months

(01:34:29):
now. Primary is over, butyou understand what I'm saying. People have
been dealing with election issues period. It all starts to run together at some
point, and they're tired of it. They get worn out, they get
voter fatigue. This is a realthing that can add to this enthusiasm deficit.
So in the primary in Florida,Trump secured I think the account was

(01:34:51):
like almost like one hundred and sixtysomething thousand fewer votes than he had taken
in twenty twenty, So it wasa drop of ninety four p of the
GOP vote to eighty one percent. And I think his campaign needs to strategize
a little bit better on how todeal with voter fatigue and how to I've

(01:35:13):
been warning you guys about this fora year. Did I not warn you
about this? I hands to sky, I know you remember this. I've
been telling you that the voter fatiguewas going to set in that I think
it was twofold. It was bydesign, because I think the press wanted
it to last that long, andTrump didn't help by immediately kicking off the
primary ages ago. Now. Iknow he wanted to get in and secure
all the endorsements and wrap everything up. I get that, but he didn't

(01:35:38):
just like test it. He formallyannounced, which sped everything up because then
everybody else had to get in,and then it just got kick started so
much faster that whether or not thatworks against him is still yet to be
measured. That's not something that's reallygoing to come out in terms of voter
fatigue and a deficit with enthusiasm untilreally, like we really get into early

(01:36:00):
voting for the general and then we'reyou know, we're gonna see that,
which, by the way, heneeds to stop running down early voting.
I believe I agree with you.There should be a day, a national
holiday, everybody goes out and vote. If you're in the military or if
there is some reason that you getan exception because you can't make it back
to your place of residence to vote. I'm fine with signature matching. I
do all of that stuff to doa mail and vote for that. But

(01:36:21):
in all the areas where you canearly vote, mail and vote, Republicans
need to exploit that to the nthdegree in Machiavellian style, to the point
where Democrats cry in the street andriot and protest about ending it. Take
advantage of it instead of, youknow, taking your ball and going home.
And he also needs to stop talkingabout how twenty twenty four is going
to be rigged. Oh my gosh, stop. I feel like what was

(01:36:44):
the movie where it was koobagating Junioryelling to Tom Cruise, help me help
you, Jerry maguire. I feellike that scene right now, help us
help you. This is not working. This is what happened in Georgia.
I saw this happen because he hadsaid, oh, your vote's not matter.
This was the special election for theSenate in Georgia specifically, remember this,

(01:37:06):
And you had that one crazy dude, lynn Wood going out there saying
your vote's not gonna matter something, the effect of don't vote and all this
stuff, and Trumpet said a coupleof things. I was in Georgia helping
to try to get people out tovote, and people were like, I
just don't know if it's gonna matter. And I was in really solid red
areas and they were like, Ijust don't think it's gonna matter. I
don't plan to vote. I can'ttell you the number of people I spoke

(01:37:27):
to in person, myself, feeton the ground in Georgia, in the
reddest districts, and people were saying, and guess what. Republican turnout was
abysmal and we lost the Senate. This stuff doesn't help. You can't tell
put cold, poor cold water onpeople with this, you can't turnout.

(01:37:49):
Will completely overrun any attempt and bythe way, it will always overrun any
attempt to try to be shady. You just can't be doing this stuff.
They need to not do that.Make him stop saying it. I don't
care how they have to do it. I don't care if somebody's got to
be out like w WWE style andhold up a giant sign and say stop
talking about it somewhere on the audienceto remind him to not talk. I

(01:38:09):
don't care what somebody has to do. Make him not do it because twenty
twenty four is too important. Nowsome of the four pull this up some
swing states, they're close. Idon't think anybody knows what's going to happen.
Just like twenty sixteen was the weirdestelection possible, twenty twenty was also

(01:38:32):
weird because I do think that peoplewere mad or some of the people that
had been brought that Trump had attractedin to be a part of, like
the coalition. You got to lookat it more as a coalition instead the
same big tent. Look at itlike that. I think some of them
ended up kind of, you know, floating back over to Biden. But
now everyone hates Biden. It's anothersuper weird election. I don't know that

(01:38:56):
there's ever been a candidate that isas on pop maybe Do Caucus, that
is as unpopular as Biden is,and not maybe worse than Do Caucus because
he doesn't at least Do Caucus wassomewhat sentient, right like he at least
he looked like he could, soundedlike he could string a sentence together,
whereas Biden is all over the place. I watched him wander off the stage

(01:39:19):
towards a baby at an event, and and then I watched another thing where
his wife, doctor Jill Biden faceuh c Puadwey had to go out and
get him because he was like notlike following along with anything. It's the
weirdest thing. So I don't Idon't know. I I just don't know.

(01:39:40):
I don't know. This is itis just it's crazy. I wanted
to play this too. I knowwe got to get move in whan are
we able to grab I just droppedthis in slack because they're in in the
house. They're they're testifying about uh, basically, well, it's a great
SoundBite of Aos saying Rico is nota crime. Now I want you to

(01:40:02):
realize this is literally what's happening withTrump and Georgia right now. So she's
saying that it's not a crime. So what does that do to the whole
willis what does that do the Georgiacase? Listen to this if we can
get it it, just drop yourtestimony today that you personally witnessed President Joe

(01:40:28):
Biden commit a crime. I believethe fact that he was sitting with me
while I was putting together did youwitness the president commit a crime? Is
it your testimony today? Yes?And what crime do you have you witnessed?
How much time do I have togo through it? It is simple,
you name the crime. Did youwatch him steal something? Corruption statues?

(01:40:54):
Rico and co? What is it? What is what is the crime?
Sir? Pif you keep up.You asked me to answer the question.
I answered the question. Ico.You're obviously not familiar with croach.
Excuse me, sir, excuse me, sir, excuse me, sir.
Rico is not a crime. Itis a category, the category of crimes

(01:41:16):
that you're then charging. You havecharged, you have charges. This is
the dumbest thing I've ever heard.Okay. RICO is the Racketeer Influenced and
Corrupt Organizations Act, and it ispart of the US Criminal cult It's eighteen
USC. Sub Section nineteen sixteen onesixty eight. Uh, and it targets
organized criminal activity and racketeering. Itabsolutely, absolutely is Oh my gosh,

(01:41:41):
So what does that do for theGeorgia case? Questions? We uh,
we have more to come. Ican't even believe that audio SoundBite. I
want to say that forever. FollowDana on Apple, Spotify or wherever you
get your podcasts, because knowledge isyour ultimate super power. When I saw
Frozen as a as a grown asswoman, I cried through the entire movie.

(01:42:06):
There was just something about the relationshipbetween the sisters, the the like
de villainization of the classic kind offairy tale bad bad guy, you know,
the concept of true love being betweentwo sisters and not a heterosexual relationship
like it just it just destroyed mecompletely, and I thought, gosh,

(01:42:28):
you know, I would love tomake something like this that is, you
know, for lack of a betterterm, Disney meaning something that like my
parents would have allowed me to seewhen I was younger as a queer person,
but I would have been able tounderstand as a queer person, and
I think I would have had acompletely different life. And so I really
was inspired by it and was like, God, I would love to make
a story like this. And sowhen I was developing this original idea to

(01:42:53):
pitch to Kathleen, I thought, well, you know, it can't just
be that. You know, whenyou're pitching Star Wars, you have to
pull from what you know. Georgewas also interested in, Like, it
can't just be like, well,I'm referencing especially if you're gonna set something,
you know, in during the youdon't have the Skywalker. This is

(01:43:14):
one of the directors of the StarWars Accolytes series, Leslie Headlin, who
used to be, interestingly enough,Harvey Weinstein's assistant. So yeah, I
just find it interesting that Star Warslike attempts to, you know, try
to demonize men and lift up womenby employing checks notes Harvey Weinstein's assistant.

(01:43:35):
This is so asinine, Oh mygosh. But she's sitting here, is
saying that because because Disney can't readthe room and they're just bounded determined to
ruin everything sci fi that they canget their hands on. That you know,
she would like to make Disney likemovies that her parents would have allowed
to see as a queer person.Like what what is I don't understand that,
what does it even mean? Like, and first off, I thought

(01:43:56):
you weren't supposed to stay queer anymore. It's like they think that like gay
people or lesbians watch TV differently thanbecause of how you have sex, well,
you know, because they have tosex differently, they consume television differently,
whereas other people just sit in frontof the television. They press their
faces to the screen and absorb thecontent via osmosis. Doesn't make sense.

(01:44:19):
I'm just trying to figure out onwhat it's also goofy. It's also incredibly
goofy. All right, Steve todayand stupid. All right, Kane's taking
a little birthday break, so he'sout for Start today. But I found
a good one, very quick oneone if you have it to cut twenty
two. Everyone's favorite Congressman Ted louMan. He's a hot take about his
favorite news channels. The best wayto post fake news is for people to

(01:44:44):
watch outlets like MSNBC, where youreport real news all the time. Yeah,
the MSNBC, they report real newsall the time, only real news,
Ted lou doesn't sound in any wayaccurate. Make sure you find us
