Dana Lashes of surd Truth podcast sponsoredby Keltech. It's his life mission to
make bad decisions. It's time forFlorida. Man. I love how the
stories that have to do with thevillages, they always call them like a
villager, like it's Minecraft, right, you know, the NPC's and Minecraft.
(00:23):
That's all they say. They justmake that noise. It is a
village. We got a villager. He was convicted now, so his sentencing
is in It's a good story. So I know. So his sentence is
in it. It's news. Hegot convicted last year of golf cart road
rage. I didn't even know therewas a thing. That's what he got.
(00:46):
This guy, Sheldon Ingstrom, he'ssixty. He's a villager. He
was booked h in Sumter County DetentionCenter Tuesday night. After the sentencing.
He pled no contest in Sumter CountyCourt to battery and resisting arrests in connection
with a golf cart road rage incident. He's been placed on probation for a
year order to perform forty hours ofservice. He also had to write a
(01:11):
He also was ordered to complete angermanagement. He had to write an apology
letter. So what happened? Itwas a road rage altercation. So what
happened. He apparently got impatient witha line of golf carts in front of
him on the golf cart path, and he tried to pass other golf carts,
and then he stopped at a stopsign and attempted to wave some golf
(01:32):
carts past him, and a womanin a golf cart indicated she did not
want to go around him, andhe started yelling and screaming at her,
and then he got out of hiscart and began walking aggressively towards that golf
cart, and then he began chestbumping the guy who got out of that
golf cart. This is like watchingnat geo. And then he told the
one guy told Inkstrom to leave himalone, and said, what the hell
(01:53):
is wrong with you? And thenhe throwned to hit the lady and they
chest they literally chest bumped aggressively multipletimes with the lady. No, with
the guy who was in the cartwith the lady, and they called the
police on him and they arrested thisguy at home. So really, like
the most that came out of itwas chest bumping. I swear I saw
this. I've seen this literally likein the wild now I haven't you know,
(02:15):
like on nat GEO, right,so this guy's sentenced that's just if
you're gonna go that length and justyou know, let's see hear this.
I I got one woman who fleda traffic stop because she said she couldn't
afford to go to jail, boyLake County, Florida. She was arrested
(02:37):
after she fled from a traffic stop. She says she couldn't afford to go
to jail, she told the LateCounty Sheriff's Office. Corn Perkins, thirty
three, was charged with felony fleein attempt to elude law enforcement, driving
while her license was revoked, andshe this was after a vehicle incident that
this happened late last week. Theytried to pull her over, she didn't
stop. She just sped away, literally sped. She was speeding and they
(03:00):
didn't chase her. But another deputywas able to find her abandoned vehicle and
they tracked her and they were ableto they put her in jail. She
said, there, I'm seventy fivehundred dollars bond. Definitely can't afford it
now. So look that's what youknow, what happened here you go.
Don't play stupid games, and youwon't win stupid prizes. A good guy,
Florida dentist saved a man who waschoking in a Port Orange restaurant.
(03:23):
Patrick Cole was at the First Watchrestaurant with his wife when a bite of
food got stuck in his throat.Doctor Sean Bannon was sitting a few tables
away. He noticed that the guywas distressed. He said, as soon
as he put his hands to histhroat, he said, it was like
a knee jerk reflex. I wasreflex, I was on my feet.
After a few repetitions band included thefood, Cole could breathe freely. He
(03:44):
took a few minutes, d decompressed, but was okay. So he literally
just saved his life. So that'suh, that's pretty wild. I wrote
a story about the guy doctor Heimlich, who invented the maneuver, never actually
performed it until like one day whenhe was old, and then he performed
it. You would think that heperformed that maneuver a million times. A
Florida man was arrested after forcing hisway into a woman's home and hugging her.
(04:10):
Twenty nine year old Florida man. He's got too many names. I
need to take a deep breath.Rell his names Nestor, Miguel Zavala,
Zepeeda. That's a lot. Youpick, drop one, you know.
It's like, what is the roleabout jewelry? If you're standing in front
of your mirror with all your jewelryon, take off one thing before you
leave the house. Otherwise you're overaccessorized. And that's tacky. Okay, well
(04:32):
you have too many names. Stopit. It's tacky or overaccessorized. So
this twenty nine year old broke intothis lady's home Monday and hugged her.
He got charged with battery and burglary. The twenty one year old victims said
she found her neighbors sitting on herporch, and deputy say he stopped her
from closing the door, gained injuryinside, hugged her without her consent.
She got him out of her residencecalled nine one one. So he's in
(04:54):
there on a twenty thousand dollars bond. He did try to get back into
her apartment. I feel like ifhe would have been able to get back
in, I don't think it wouldhave stopped it. Hugging. I think
he had probably done something. I'llhave done something more, I should say.
But that's kindly people are. Idon't know if you're I feel like
maybe also too. She knew thathe was probably a weirdo from the beginning
(05:15):
because the stories, Like she immediatelywas all weirded out because he was right
there in front of her house,so that or her apartment door. Uh.
And let's see, a Florida manis accused of stealing a truck crashing
it through a fence at Jacksonville InternationalAirport. He told police whatever I took
to not was not cocaine. Yeah, well that's the guys. He didn't,
(05:38):
he says, he didn't take thecocaine. And so our good friends
over at Celtech American Maid. Youwant to talk about a story and all
American story. George Kelgren immigrates fromSweden, goes to beautiful Florida and creates
a company, adds to the taxbase, creates jobs, hires veterans,
family run, family owned company, and firearms quality made right here in the
(06:00):
US of A. They're an innovativeFlorida based creator of pistols and rifles and
shotguns, accessories, gear, andthey've been continuing the mission of game changing
innovation and performance with their for instance, Sub two K Gen three, I
have the generation, the second generationof this. The Sub two K reads
a sub two thousand on the website. It's light, foldable, it's effective.
It's a nine millimeter carbine. They'vemade a couple they've they've reconfigured a
(06:25):
few things on this rifle, onthis carbine for the Gen three, so
you can keep your optics on whenyou fold it in half. My Gen
two version I have to detach myoptics. But with the Gen three,
keep everything on, fold it rightin half, and it just as quickly
and easily deploys. It has lightenedaction for easy racking and ambidextrous bolt hold
(06:46):
open as well, all providing improvedmanipulation, lightened nice reals, buttery smooth
five pound trigger again quality made righthere in the US of A. We
need more companies like Cltech. SeekHeltech online, see everything that they have
to offer. Celtechweapons dot Com.Follow them on social media. That's k
E L T E C Weapons dotCom. Tell them Dana sent you.
(07:11):
I wanted to touch on this too. It's a part of the policy.
This is one of the dumbest things. This is so dumb, it's really
one of the worst things I've everseen in terms of stepping on yourself with
bad policy. And it has todo let me pull this up with uh,
(07:32):
it has to do with energy.Do you remember when Joe Biden said
the Biden administration said they were theywere gonna build something like a frillion uh
charging stations EV charging stations. Oh, they're gonna build all these EV charging
stations, so many of them.In fact, they had said, I
(07:56):
think it was five hundred thousand.Yeah, Now he said twenty twenty one,
they're gonna build five hundred thousand electricvehicle charging stations by the year of
twenty thirty. King, Yes,how many they built? Wait did this
a few weeks ago? There waslike six or seven? Is there more
(08:16):
than seven? No? Those notNo, seven, Is there fewer than
seven? No, it's just seven. Because I've seen the videos of them
cutting that copper out of that wires, it's seven. It's seven whole station.
Still only seven. So you knowof the five hundred thousand with a
diesel generator sitting three hundred yards backbehind it. Now, remember the Secretary
(08:43):
Mayor put Booty Juice. He's theguy who administers the funds that are apportioned
for this in the one point twotrillion dollar Bipodizan Infrastructure Act. Now do
you remember when he was on alsoCBS has faced the Nation and he goes,
well, it's more than jo plunkinga small divide into the ground.
Remember that. So they had theseinternal memos from the Department of Transportation.
(09:09):
This was a story broken by theWashington Free Beacon, and they interviewed people
who are responsible for overseeing the implementationof these EV charging stations. What do
you think the delay is? Letme just said, if you guys had
to think of a delay for whythese EV charging stations couldn't be built,
(09:30):
what would you think it is?Probably like like materials or something, right,
Nope, Nope, it's because oftheir diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.
One senior Department Transportation staffer said, quote, these requirements are screwing everything
up. Someone else said, that'smaking it take so much longer. So
(09:50):
when Biden took office, he signedthis executive order that demanded that the beneficiaries
of forty percent of all government grantsthat really to climate and environmental programs that
they have to come from underserved communities. So the order that established you know,
the uh, it's the White HouseEnvironmental Justice Advisory Council. They monitor
(10:16):
Department of Transportation to make sure thatquote, all voices, perspectives, and
lived realities of communities with environmental justiceconcerns are heard in the White House and
reflected in federal policies, investments, and decisions. What the world? What
in the boards? All? Hell'sthat? So in order to even get
a grant, and the Free Beaconhas all the receipts on it, applicants
(10:41):
have to demonstrate how meaningful public involvementand inclusive inclusivity of disadvantaged communities, how
that is going to occur throughout theproject's life cycle. Right, So they
didn't actually find what public involvement meansin this. They just said that,
(11:03):
well, it should be intentional outreachto underserved communities. And they have a
whole little like a booklet on itonline. It's a whole little booklet.
So they get into techniques form meanium, Let's go to page nineteen of this
(11:24):
page nineteen, scroll on down. They have a million different pages of this.
It's so ridiculous, but it's theDEI stuff. So in this they
talk about primary languages and all kindsof other stuff and how to include X,
Y and Z in terms of demos, in terms of identity politics.
(11:48):
So they said that if you're goingto get a grant, they noted this
that applicants have to demonstrate I toldyou how they had to demonstrate how they're
going to be inclusive of all thisstuff. They didn't define public involvement,
except they gave some examples. Thisis on the this is in their little
transportation booklet. So they mentioned gamesand contests, visual preference surveys, and
(12:13):
neighborhood block parties like that's considered.I guess they consider those public involvement.
And so long as the grant recipientprovides quote, multi lingual staff or interpreters
to interact with community members who uselanguages other than English. What does this
(12:41):
have to do with just building thedamn charging station? How do you even
quantify public involvement? How is thateven quantified? And I don't even know
how any of this what this hasto do with single EV charging station?
(13:01):
But if you want to if youyou know, if you want federal funding
to build it. You got tosubmit these reports that how that total like
hundreds of pages that talk about howwhat you're doing to pursue equity every step
of the way. Now, Kin, do you think this is going to
increase construction costs? Yeah, oh, without a doubt. This reminds you
(13:26):
of what Vice President Harris said audiosome by twelve. This is like some
of the stuff that I mean, this is kind of reflective and their policies
approaching everything. Listen to this. Many of you may know the stories about
a black family that wants to selltheir home and then has the appraiser come
in and the house is a praisefor what they know is less than its
(13:48):
value. And you probably know thestories about how they'll then reach out to
family, friends or white and say, hey, we all come over,
bring your family pictures, we're goingto take down ours, and you invite
the appraiser. I've never heard thatpeople want to make money. They want
to make money, but everything isviewed through the lens of race, even
(14:11):
apparently even appropriating building down to buildingcharging stations, down to building charging stations,
everything is everything is about race. One senior Department Transportation official told the
Free Beacon that these ridiculous inclusion requirementshandcuff professionals from making proper evaluations and they
(14:35):
prevent the government and public from fundingthe most deserving projects instead of funneling money
towards the least qualified applicants. AndI mean, golly, the first charging
station opened in a small Ohio townand no one used it. And they
only have point thirty three percent ofall vehicles operating on battery power in that
(14:56):
state. Yeah, so the regulations, that's just you're paying off your voting
block through that those are federal fundsbecause of the insane word solid restrictions that
you're applying that you're demanding be fulfilledfor these to receive a grant to build
(15:20):
an EV charging station, you're makingit to where you might as well just
say you can only these grants areonly allowed for Democrats and Democrat businesses to
build these charging stations. Just goahead and say it. Stop with this
other stupid nonsense. This this federalplunder, that's what it is. But
(15:41):
can you believe it? So that'swhy it's so slow, that's why they
can't build them. That's why there'sseven out of five hundred thousand that have
been built. I mean not thatI don't think the government should be doing
this at all, but I thinkit's funny that they they're stepping all over
themselves with us out of five hundredthousand only and we're three years out from
(16:02):
that money being green lighted. Soseven in three years they've built seven.
Let me give you another example ofreally stupid policy. So a lot of
the left is really mad. Alot of the left in Florida is really
really mad at Governor run Descantis rightnow because they had his Yesterday, his
(16:22):
office released the budget veto list andit had a bunch of stuff on there.
Some of it's pretty crazy the stuffthat they were vetoing. One of
the one of the things on thelist was Minstrel Hygiene Products Grant Program pursuant
to Section Florida Statutes. Now,I thought, what is for tampons?
(16:53):
One of my favorite meme accounts MidnightMitch lost their mind over it, because
that's what they're talking about, menstrulhygie, they're talking about pass and tampons.
And the request that he vetoed wassix point four million dollars for this.
So Mitch win In was like athirty six count a thirty six count
(17:15):
box of tampons at Targets seven ninetynine, it's eight hundred thousand boxes or
twenty eight million individual tampons. Theentire population of Florida is like twenty three
million. Why do you need twentyeight million tampons for schools? Why does
the school even need to be providingthat? And why is it six point
four million dollars? Oh my gosh. So of course he of course,
(17:37):
he he vetoed that. I mean, you're looking at that's it. That's
crazy, that's insane, that's money. Why would you spend that? So,
yes, he was right that,And I love the comments on it.
I love the comments from the dudestrying to figure out how many per
(17:57):
day a girl would need one ofmy favorite things ever to read. But
that's not anything. That's oh mygosh, six point four million dollars.
It's just Democrats don't know where moneycomes from, clearly, clearly just bad
policy. This is what they focuson. But the petro dollar, oh,
(18:21):
you know, that can go tohell. We don't really care about
that. We don't care about that. They don't care about tax dollars.
So set immigration politics aside for amoment. New diseases are entering through US
borders and infections. The University ofNebraska's med Center has been tracking at USA
Today is written about it all kindsof infections, diseases. Plus you remember
the medication shortages during COVID and remembernot being able to see a doctor and
(18:45):
long lines at the er. Somy advice is to prepare for the next
disease or infection, get out infront of it. Order a medical emergency
kit from the Wellness Company. Nowit's not a first aid kit. It's
like having an urgent care in yourhouse with a central prescriptions and it comes
with doctor prescribe meds to treat overthirty nine different medical issues. And these
(19:06):
are strong antibiotics for infections of alltype like strutthroat pneumonia, UTI's, bronchitis,
so much more. Plus there's aneasy doctor's guide you can follow,
so you'll know exactly when and howto use it without a trip to the
doctor or the hospital or the pharmacy. Every home should have at least one
medical emergency kit. Order yours onlinein minutes and your kit will be a
rushed to your door. Get fifteenpercent off at TWC dot health slash data
(19:32):
and use promo code data. That'spromo code data at TWC dot Health slash
data. And now all of thenews you would probably miss. It's time
for Data's quick five, all right, So first up, I had to
hit my black Rifle coffee. Thereis such dangerous rainfall in Florida. There's
flooding everywhere. Governor Ron DeSantis iscalled for a state declared a state of
(19:55):
emergency. They said several roads havebeen turned into rivers and lakes. And
I know that the water Dama,I know all that's really bad. But
guys, you know what else I'mthinking of When I'm looking at all the
photos and videos of water swirling everywhere, and I'm watching a lady in a
wheelchair getting wheeled through water, I'mthinking of gators. That's exactly. I'm
not thinking of anything else. Iam not thinking of another thing else.
(20:18):
Gators. Now, what's that like? When there's the flooding and all that
there, then gaters just everywhere upin the streets and on your porches and
all that, Like, what isit? Good? My gosh, that's
like a horror movie. So wehope everyone stays safe down there. Good
heavens. Also, John Fetterman wassaid to have been at fault for recent
the recent car accident. Apparently theysaid he was speeding when it was when
(20:40):
he rear into this car in frontof him. What is that supposed to
be. Everybody's supposed to hate himnow because he disagrees with Democrats about how
much they hate the Jews. Right, No, let's see this. Joe
Biden is, Oh, this isat the border. He's facing his first
lawsuit over the new asylum crackdown atthe border. Coalition of immigrant advocacy groups
suit him, saying that the recentdirector that halts asylum claims at the border,
(21:06):
saying they said it doesn't it's notany different than Trump's durer and that
was also had been previously blocked bythe courts. The ACLU filed behalf on
a group that doesn't realize the peoplewho aren't citizens here that don't have the
exact same rights, or people whohaven't gone through the proper legal pathways do
not have the same rights as noncitizens. And so I don't know,
that'll be interesting to see, butthey there is a point there. The
(21:26):
court overturned it when it was Trump. Are they going to do it now
that it was biden or is itgoing to be different because Dems, de
rules and marine specialists are scrambling tosave a humpback whale ensnared in a fishing
net in the Arctic. Oh no, save him as his name is Stanislav.
Is a big o' whale ensnared andthey're working really hard to save him
and save his life. Stick withus a lot more in store. I
(21:47):
also hope that most Americans can understandthe difference between a flag that symbolizes,
you know, love and acceptance andsignals to people who have sometimes feared for
their safety that they're going to beokay, and insurrectionist symbology. I'll just
leave it at that. Why areyou geeking? Why? So my whole
(22:11):
question with this. That's Secretary mayOr new Mom poot Booty Juice also a
former rear Vice Admiral of the Knuefleetat Camp wimpey Tonko, who is talking
about the because it's alphabet month, you know, and he's talking about all
these I don't know why people arelike, let's paint some murals in the
street. So I'm trying to understandthis, this psychological safety that one feels
(22:36):
if they see a rainbow on asphalt. Now I bring this up because yesterday,
well this was after we were offair. I think this was when
I was reading some stuff ahead oftoday, and because I always do a
lot of my research after I getoff air, I do research until probably
about like you know, I readincessantly until sometimes seven or eight o'clock unless
(22:57):
it's a crazy day, and itgoes a lot later at night, and
then start setting up the show forthe next day. Audio's on by twenty
So this was was this in Wey. I can't remember what state this was
in? This is I keep seeingthis happening in a number of states,
and this one little city called FrederickTown they put up They put out a
(23:18):
tweet. Now want is showing youthe tweet first off, before we dive
any further. What is on theguy's roller? Like I noticed it when
I reposted it with a comment, but I was too focused on the stupidity
of the rest of their tweet. But coming back to this, is that
like invisible red paint that goes on. I mean, this is such a
stupid I love that he's got thehard head on so he feels safe,
(23:41):
but there's nothing on that roller.Kane, Kane's dying. He's clearly just
identifying as a painter. True, that's literally what it's doing. That's true.
It's completely fake because there's no paintinggoing on. I it's taking everything
I have right now to just stayin the lines here. Yeah, one
(24:03):
and I were talking about this thismorning. It's clearly like they do the
photo op thing. They're like, hey, go out there and dress like
those painters dress and grab one ofthose rollers from like home depot that those
painters have. There's no paint anywhere, right, they didn't they couldn't go
that far apparently, and it andit's just so yeah, that looks so
stupid. You know, he's pretending, like a lot of the people who
(24:26):
are pretending to be a member ofthe different sex, they're like the pretending.
They're all cost playing. So that'sfitting, right, But here's the
thing. I don't care what peoplechoose to do in the privacy of their
own homes because I don't care.I really don't. I don't have a
heart that big. I don't care, and I'm not a busy betty,
I don't. I don't want amicromanager life. I don't care like I
(24:48):
don't. I just don't. I'vegot enough issues right now to deal with,
right, But I'm trying to figureout the significance of painting rainbow on
the street. And then you know, you can't just paint the rainbow.
You guys know this, right. They've been fighting about this online too.
You if you, if you paintjust the rainbow, then the te's get
(25:08):
mad at you. The t's lookat the l's and the g's and the
bees and like, what is wrongwith you? Bigots? And the l's
and g's and bees are like, what is wrong with you? And then
they fight, and so they thenthey have to put that nat The t's
have the nastiest stupid colors. Theywhat is it like brown and blue and
(25:32):
pink and some other stuff on there, and then they've got this weird symbol
and it's just it just stupid. And then it just looks trashy and cluttered
and busy. So anyway, Ijust again, I'm trying to figure out
what about paint being on asphalt makemakes it better? I go, I
felt I feel so unsafe. Ifelt unsafe, and then I saw paint
(25:56):
on the asphalt and now I feelso much better. I just I don't.
I don't understand the you know, the world safer because of paint on
asphalt denoting sexual activity. Oh stopit stopp being like No, Dana.
It's about love and acceptance, andabout of what love and acceptance, of
what finish it? Of what youdon't understand. It's about making pabals all
(26:18):
safe for what to do? Whatfinish it? Why? Why isn't it?
Why is it different for you andeveryone else? We don't need to
see paint on a road. Right, I sleep with my husband. I
don't need a flag on the roadto make me feel safe. Right,
A color is on the road, paint on the road, just saying I
(26:44):
don't need that to feel safe.So what is it about? What is
it? What is it represent? No one finishes it. It's about how
you have sex. That's all itis, and no one cares. But
people keep shoving it all on everybody'sface or with the t's. You know
you call me marrim I mean you'veyou know, you've you've excuse me,
(27:06):
it's see it is ma, it'syou have to especially with the teas you
have to not only it's not aboutacceptance. It's about accommodation and encouragement.
Do you feel safer? Did allthe crime in because there's colors on the
road? Now? Okay? Itjust is over the top. It actually
made me feel less safe because now, how do I know where these people
(27:26):
are supposed to cross the street?Am I supposed to stop? Like right
there a couple of feet before it? Or so? Well? Actually I
don't even really know. And canyou not walk on it? Like they
get mad if people drive on it? Right, I'm not going to make
the obvious joke about skid marks thatI think would complete the mural, and
not for the reason that immediate nostop it. I'm just saying you can't
(27:52):
drive on it. You can't,like, don't even look at it.
It's probably a felony. I don'tknow. Well, they're like, it's
a more inclusive and safe society forall. You know what it means.
The rainbow on the road means thatonly the alphabet people can cross here.
You're allowed, drivers are allowed tohit you if you have sex a normal
(28:15):
boring way. I don't know.Yeah, I don't know either. I
don't know how people and know thatno one knows unless you throw it in
their face, right, I mean, it's the equality and everything else is
assumed unless you're trying to give peoplereasons for not treating you equally and then
demanding that they treat you, youknow what, under saying it doesn't make
sense like a hurt and rescue thatyou do yourself. The issue of gay
(28:37):
walking ticket a gay walking, that'sthat's you know what, it's gay walking
if it's not in the rainbow You'vegot to stay on the yellow brick road,
the rainbow brick road. Otherwise it'sgay walking and you get a ticket
for it. That's a good point, Kane. I don't know what the
ticket is. And if you're apparentlyan alphabet person and you don't cross in
the rainbow, you'll get mowed down. But if you are not an alphabet
(29:00):
person and you crossing the rainbow, you'll get mowed down. So see,
I don't know. There's like allthese laws and stuff. It's just a
show over the top. Thanks fortuning in to today's edition of Dana Lash's
