(00:00):
This is the Dana Show. Myname is Craig Collins, filling in,
thrilled to be with you. Bunchof stuff to talk about today. Dana
can be found everywhere. Radio Danadot com is a great way to stay
connected. Doer, d lash orDana Lash Radio on x on Twitter.
Great ways to stay connected. Doer, Let's do some stuff. I find
this to be very amusing the amountof not necessarily politicians, but other people

(00:25):
that are now breaking bad on Biden, on President Biden. George Stephanopoulos apparently
wasn't aware this was TMZ. That'swhat it seems like to me. But
a guy walked up to him withTMZ that, Hey, you've talked to
Biden more than anybody else's talked toBiden. Do you think you should stay
in this race or do you thinkyou should drop out? And unsurprising,
Well, I guess maybe surprising becauseof how honest it is, but unsurprising

(00:48):
because of the obviousness to all ofus that this is the right answer.
George says, I don't think youcan make it four more years. It's
kind of hard to understand, George. But luckily TMZ is a profession.
These people are so they repeat itback to him and he says yes,
and then they walk away. Herewe go, Hey, Susan, Hey,
how you doing. What do youthink do you think Biden should set

(01:12):
down? You talked to him morethan anybody else have lately, and he
would be answer for more years. You don't think you can start for more
years? All right, that's ananswer. I do love the fact that
TMC's also like, well, that'san answer. I mean, you gave
us one, and the answer isexactly what we expected it to be,
which is that there is absolutely noreason that Biden should stay in this race.

(01:34):
According to George. He has nowtried to backtrack that, as well
as Core as well as of courseABC, everybody surrounding him. No one
wants this to be out there, but it's out there. And then there
was this breaking news report to PeterDoucey awesome in giving it to us,
talking about how George Cloney, oneof the celebrities who was behind a giant

(01:57):
fundraiser for Biden just a short timetime ago, a fundraiser that absolutely had
to include Obama and others for thecelebrities to show up, now apparently is
withdrawing his support for Biden and wantshim to drop out, and this is
extraordinary. Just a few minutes ago, George Clooney has posted an op ed
in The New York Times. I'mgoing to read a line from it.
He says, I love Joe Bidenas a senator, as a vice president

(02:23):
and president. I consider him afriend, and I believe in him,
believe in his character, believe inhis morals. But he goes on to
say he thinks that they need anew presidential nomine need. I love the
guy, I'm I'm a big fan, love everything about him. Think he's
great. I also think he shouldstop doing the stuff he's doing and go
home immediately. That is George Cloney. I'm sure that even the Biden team

(02:46):
was like, not, Clooney can'tpossibly be this bad for us as that's
going on. Trump had a rallylast night in Florida and a huge crowd
of people showed up and Trump didhis typical Trump thing too hilarious moments that
I want to play. The firstone where Trump offered to do a man
to man debate, no moderators,no nothing, just two guys in the

(03:08):
middle of the street somewhere probably onx on YouTube and a few other platforms.
While YouTube would take it down ifTrump was winning, but you know,
maybe rumble and just going after eachother, just arguing with each other
in broad daylight, that would beincredible. Of course Biden would never do
it, but hilarious for Trump tooffer a man to man debate to help

(03:30):
Biden go ahead and fix his positionwith the American people, which of course
this wouldn't do. Here we go, as you know, in our recent
debate, and in honor of allof you, I dealt Joe Biden,
even according to the fake news media, the most decisive and overwhelming defeat in
the histreet. Yeah, you didpresidential debates. I think so, right,

(03:52):
I think so. And that wasa big crowd that was watching.
That was one of the highest ratedshows ever television. So I'm honored to
be a part of it. Idon't think he's too happy, but you
know, I like being a partof it. But even CNN said as
I walked off the stage, andit was one of the greatest performances they've

(04:12):
ever seen. But it was sortof easy, if you want to know.
The truth on victory was so absolutethat Joe's own party now wants him
to throw in the towel and surrenderthe presidency after a single ninety minute performance.
They want crooker Joe out of therace. It's a shame the way
they're treating him. But don't feelsorry for him. He's a very bad

(04:33):
guy. He weaponized government. Rememberthat. I think that's hilarious that you
do the first minute on how Ifeel bad for Joe Biden now as Trump
because I beat him and it wasn'tthat hard to beat him, because his
brain has broken, and he wasterrible during the debate. And it is
true the way he says it thatnow Democrats are finally admitting the thing that
everyone else has been seeing for awhile and want him to drop out.

(04:55):
But Trump goes on to offer hima man de man debate. He's a
very bad guy, don't feel sorryfor So tonight, I'm officially offering Joe
the chance to redeem himself in frontof the entire world. So Marco and
Byron and everybody, here's what we'regoing to do. You guys can be

(05:17):
referees if you like. Let's doanother debate this week so that sleepy Joe
Biden can prove to everyone all overthe world that he has what it takes
to be president. Let's do it. Let's go. Trump also asked him
to do a golf one v one, which I thought was hilarious, something
that Biden actually had teased himself. And now after Trump said he would do

(05:41):
it, Biden's team is backed outof it. But there was this moment
too, and then the debate.Sleepy Joe also declared that he wanted to
test his skills and stamina against mineon the golf course. Can you believe
this? Did you ever see himswing? He's like this, I know
this is radio. I know youcan't see it. A Trump hunched over

(06:03):
and swung the way that say,any child would be swinging a stick that
has no idea how to swing ingolf. That's why this evening I am
also and this is an honor ofyou and everybody. It is at forty
five thousand people, that's a lotof people. I'm also officially challenging Crooked

(06:26):
Joe to an eighteen hole golf matchright here under Roused Blue Monster, Considered
one of the greatest tournament golf coursesanywhere in the world, one of the
great courses of the world. Itwill be among the most watched sporting events
in history. That's true. Itwould be maybe bigger than the Ryder Cup

(06:49):
or even the Masters, but Idon't know about that. But Baby,
I will even give Joe Biden tenstrokes aside. Ten strokes. That's a
lot. That means strokes in caseyou don't play golf. Yeah, ten
each nine Oh, give him tenstrokes aside, and if he wins,
I will give the charity of hischoice, any charity that he wants,

(07:11):
one million dollars. All right,Look, I know that that's Trump at
a campaign, at a rally, doing Trump's rally thing, but that would
be amazing. You remember when TigerWoods and Phil Mickelson did one versus one
in the world of golf, andpeople paid attention. They wanted to see
if there were side bets per hole. All that stuff was going on.
We need this version of Biden versusTrump on the golf course. One million

(07:34):
dollars to the charity of his choice. If Biden can beat him in ten
strokes every nine holes is insane. And actually I still think Trump of course
would win because Biden can't seem tomove at all. All right, one
last thing that I want to play, and it's longer. That's why I'm
getting to it so early. ButTom Elliott is incredible. He's a guy
who's in charge of Grabian. He'sa guy who puts out this stuff on

(07:58):
X on Twitter all the time, the supercuts, and they're always masterclasses and
how to put together a whole bunchof crap that media tells you that demonstrates
to you how much they lie andhow corrupt they are. This is one
of the better ones I've seen. This is well. Now, he puts
out a lot of great ones,as I said, but this is the
newest one. It's all of thethings that media said about Trump in twenty

(08:20):
seventeen, twenty eighteen, twenty nineteen, about him being mentally unfit to be
the president. You do not wantTrump in office because his brain was damaged.
These are the things that the mediawas telling us. Now they're trying
to defend Joe Biden, who actuallyseems to have Parkinson's disease or some other
issue mentally that's causing him to beincapable of speech. I can't believe how

(08:41):
good this is, because if youjust replace Trump every time they said it,
this should be what they're saying aboutBiden, and of course they aren't.
The media is ridiculous. And thisis a great demonstration from Tom Elliott.
Here we go. This was thefirst place where the twenty fifth Amendment
was discussed after Donald Trump was inaugurated, exactly one month into the Trump presidency,
to try and invoke something like thetwenty fifth Amendment to do something about

(09:05):
it. And I think that ascitizens and we have to think about what
our options are. Is that impeachment? Is it the twenty fifth Amendment?
Confronting a president who is so clearlylawless, so clearly out of control,
so utterly uninformed. Whispers about thetwenty fifth Amendments. Are there? Whispers
among cabinet officials early on about thetwenty fifth Amendment, Whispers among cabinet members
about the twenty fifth Amendment, Whispersamong cabinet officials about invoking the twenty fifth

(09:30):
Amendments, Whispering about the twenty fifthAmendment, Whispers in the cabinet about the
twenty fifth Amendment. Instability, amorality, inability to function, and I
think Donald Trump is wounded. Theyshould invoke the twenty fifth Amendments. Aren't
discussing the twenty fifth amendments investigate whetheror not he's unfit. President may be
unhinged and material and constantly lying anddoesn't know what he's doing. We don't

(09:52):
have a president, and we havea president who's there, but he is
not capable of doing the job orliving up to the responsibilities. That's one
minute of a nine minute thing thatTom Elliott put out on social media.
It's a masterclass. As I said, of all the times that the left
was doing the thing that they nowcondemn the right for doing. They said

(10:13):
that it was cheap fakes and allthat other crap leading up to the debate,
and then Biden demonstrated his brain doesn'twork to everybody, and now they're
calling for him to go. GeorgeCloney has even turned on Biden, which
has got to hurt again. AsI said, I don't know, George
has not been a person that's everweighed in on me. I'm not sure
he'd be a fan. But nonetheless, I imagine it hurts when you lose

(10:35):
the clony. But this is justit's hilarious to hear it. Maybe I'll
play more of this throughout the showtoday, because every single one of these
sentiments deserves to be said about theguy in charge, and deserved to be
said years ago about the guy incharge. And finally media is saying some
stuff, but they're not saying thisyet, and they should be. The
twenty fifth Amendment should be used toremove Biden. It seems to be a

(10:56):
favorite to the Democratic Party to getrid of him because he's utterly incapable of
beating Trump. But nonetheless, itseems as though if he's incapable of doing
four more years of this job,he's probably not really a good fit right
now. All right, I'll takea break on that. A lot to
talk about today. Greg Collins fillingin on the Data Show. As we

the Dana Show. My name isGreg Collins, filling in. Thrilled to
be with you Dana Radio dot coma great way to stay connected to our

(12:54):
Chapter and Verse newsletter. As youhear, she's on YouTube, Rumble,
Facebook, Direct, TV three fortyseven all over the place. She's back
on Monday. I am Craig Collinsfilling in. Let's do a quick five
and now all of the news youwould probably miss. It's time for Dana's
quick five. All right, Igot two that have to be in this
quick five. The first one,Justice Soda Mayor's bodyguard apparently shot a dude

(13:18):
last week in DC. The guygot shot in the mouth, rushed to
the hospital. I think he's okay, but he was. He's eighteen years
old and he was a carjacker. He looks like he walked up to the
wrong car and tried to rob itand immediately dealt with the justice of someone
who's a trained bodyguard for Supreme CourtJustice. What I think is interesting about
this It took a week for thisstory to come out, and it demonstrates

(13:41):
just how abysmal parts of DC areon no matter who it is. They
did say that they don't think theperson was specifically targeting justice soda my oar.
I'm sure if that was happening,we would have heard about this sooner
and media would have made a fieldday of it. But a US marshal
handled an issue in DC that alot of people in DC deal with all
the time. That's just horrible. That's one story out there. There's another

(14:01):
one. I debated if I canplay this audio, but it's cops talking
about a crazy person, so I'mpretty sure I can play it. And
Ohio man was arrested after he brokeinto several stores, including a pet store.
He fell asleep in the pet storeand was found with hamsters in his
pants. That's the thing. Theguy's name is Matthew Pancake. I don't

(14:24):
know if that's a real last nameor a changed last name. I'm thrilled
that his last name is Pancake. Here's a little bit of audio of some
of the officers talking about the weirdestarrest they've had in a while. We
say it all the time. Wenever know what to expect in our job.
And one day you know you're runningafter a suspect, the next day
you're running after a fair or abunny. Yep, it's a ferret,

(14:45):
a bunny, a suspect, ora dude with hamsters in his pants that's
asleep in a pet store. That'sgot to be a bad look for this
dude. He's not going to behappy that you can google his name from
now on and find that story.Probably employer is not going to be who
thrilled about it. He's also notin Florida, which I found was surprising.
He's in Ohio, but yeah, doing some things. A man in

(15:05):
California went viral. We're posting aphoto of a suggested tip at a bar
where the bar thought that he shouldgive one hundred percent tip on a twenty
four dollars tab. I don't knowwhy that's what the computer came up with.
The guy declined to go one hundredpercent and give a fifty dollars check

(15:26):
to a guy that gave him atwenty four dollars tab in California. I
imagine that's like one drink or maybehalf of a shot or something. But
nonetheless, this is hilarious because it'shappening all the time and people are fed
up with the ridiculousness of tip culture. I wonder if even the bartenders and
waiters and waitresses of the world areactually upset with these crazy things because I

(15:46):
imagine that goes from a twenty percenttip to less because the machine asked for
one hundred percent. But nonetheless, there's another crazy story that's out there.
I thought this was interesting and Imight be a victim of it like many
of you. So smart thermostats mightjust be deciding to heat up your house
or not run your air conditioning ashard as you want. That's a brand

(16:07):
new thing. Power companies are quotemessing with your thermostat remotely if you have
any smart ones, and if youhave them registered. Some states even give
you some sort of discount when youlet them know you have them. So
apparently more and more people are walkinghome and seeing, wait a minute,
I left the house and the thermostatwas set at this temperature, and now
all of a sudden, it's basicallyone hundred degrees in my home because somebody

(16:27):
turned it off, and that somebodymight be well, not somebody in the
house. I thought that was reallyinteresting. During the peak hours of three
and nine o'clock is when you're mostlikely to see someone mess with your thermostat.
That's weird, you think it'd beearlier in the day, but nonetheless,
this is something you should probably checkon if you have a smart thermostat
in the home. And then justone last one, cartoon characters that should

(16:49):
be President was a list that peoplefilled out a line Batman came in at
number one. Hilarious to me,We've got a broken brain president, and
we'd rather have Batman in the WhiteHouse. I'm for that. That's fine
with me, all right, quickbreak, a lot coming up. Greg
Collin's filling in on The Dana Show. According to a March twenty twenty four

(17:10):
report from the Association of American MedicalColleges, the US is facing a shortage
of eighty six thousand doctors by twentythirty six. Already way times to see
a doctor nearly reach four weeks. That's a troubling trend set to worsen,
and your alternative lengthy hours in theer or urgent care amid a whole crowd
of ill people. Yeah, no, take control of your own healthcare.

(17:33):
Order a medical emergency kit from theWellness Company. Now this is not a
repeat, it's not a first aidkit. It's like having an urgent care
in your home. It's super handy. It comes with doctor prescribed medicines for
over thirty medical issues. Antibiotics forinfection, strep, throat, I've used
that, pneumonia, bronchitis, allkinds of stuff. Match your symptoms to
the prescription in your booklet, andtake the correct meds now to get well

(17:56):
faster. There's no waiting for adoctor or a farm receiver being around tons
of sick people. Every home shouldhave at least one medical emergency kit,
and you can order yours online inliterally minutes. Get fifteen percent off at

That's right, this is the DanaShow. My name is Craig Collins filling
in. You can also find Danaat Dana Radio dot com or dlash Dana
Lash Radio on x on Twitter.A Nancy Pelosi is apparently in trouble as

(18:42):
the latest person to give a weirdanswer when asked if she supports the current
president for his run to reclaim theoffice four more years of the broken brain
Biden. Before I get to thataudio, I want to play a couple
things from Carin John Pierre, theWhite House Press secretary, yesterday. A
one of them is a pretty amazingback and forth with Peter Doucy of Fox

(19:03):
News. Before that, there waseven this, which is a weird thing.
This is the second time in twodays that Karin John Pierre has released
a late night statement correcting herself andsomething she said about Biden and meetings with
renowned say Parkinson's disease experts. Thiswas odd. But here we go,
first the audio where she says thatwasn't a meeting between Biden and that doctor.

(19:27):
That was something totally different that wasgoing on. That's in our visitor
logs, and you didn't correct mewith our own. But it didn't seem
to explicitly described in the nature ofdoctor Cernard's meeting with doctor O'Connor. So
can you say whether that one meetingis related to care for the president himself?
I can say that it was not. It was not great great.
I can say it was not andthen later on in the evening, I

(19:48):
can say that it was the exactopposite of what we said was true,
is in fact actually true and somethingwe might have confirmed back in February when
we talked about how Biden meets withneurologists. He has his yearly you know,
check up, his yearly physical. This is something that apparently she isn't
aware of or lied about and gotcaught about. I don't know, but
that's two nights in a row wherewe get a late night release of yeah,

(20:11):
okay, more stuff happened than youthought. Here's the back and forth
with Doucy. I love this, and I got the full version of this.
I could have played a shorter version, but I want the beginning part
where she's trying very hard to sayout loud that Biden makes a lot of
jokes and some of that stuff thatdoesn't make any sense where the president is
speaking and we all get confused. That's just because he's making silly jokes where

(20:34):
people are laughing and we don't getit. We're not on the inside of
this joke. Here we go,good, Peter, I know you know
we got her to chat yesterday.Yes, thank you, Bree does President
Biden commit to serving a full secondterm if re elected? Yes, thank
you. We know the President saysthat his health is fine, but it's

(20:56):
just his brain, and that he'ssharpnessed before he cooking. By the way,
I just want to make sure thatthat's out there and people he was
making a I love the what's thejoke? Respond to that he was joking
by the way, people might nothave laughed or understood it, even though
karenn says people find him to behilarious. We heard a joke as he
was speaking off he was he's speakingoff the cuff and rain doesn't work.

(21:18):
So you know the president, helikes to joke a lot. He's the
same guy who says, I knowI look forty right, So he likes
to make jokes. It is ajoke. I think people laugh when he
says it. Well, I laughfor a different reason. Sharpest before eight
pm, So say that the Pentagonat some point picks up an incoming nuke.
It's eleven pm. Who do youcall the first lady? Okay,

(21:41):
I'm gonna down right there before youget the scary answer from Karin John Pierre.
That's a brilliant question and you mightthink that that's not a brilliant question,
or people on the laughter like,oh, how dare Deucey asks something
so dumb? Or so you know, uniquely unlikely to occur, although I
don't know how uniquely unlikely that is. Every day a thing gets carrier in
our society. But nonetheless, Ilove this question because the answer is horrible,

(22:04):
and Deucey might have known it wascoming. He has a team that
lets him know of any what now, any news that is pertinent and important
to the American people. He hassomeone or that is decided obviously with his
National Security council, and who getsto tell him that news? So Kevin
McCarthy just said that. I lovewhen it's like, so, what happens

(22:26):
is eleven o'clock? Well, Idon't know. We picked the right person
to let him know. We alsoprobably make a lot of decisions when he's
still asleep and not awake and notworking at any kind Who is the team?
Who are the people that are incharge of protecting the United States after
eight pm when Grandpa Joe goes tobed. Who are those individuals? I
am not really sure are a littlemore dude, he was the speaker many
times when we had meetings in theOble Office, Jill was there as well

(22:51):
when the first ladies in these meetings. Is she making decisions or is she
just advising the president? No,the president is the President of the United
States, He makes decisions. Whyis she another family member? President Biden
has told me before he and his'sson don't have any business dealings together.
So what is Hunter Biden doing inWhite House meetings? Are you talking about

(23:11):
the meeting where they came together fromCamp David and the two of them,
Yeah, well, yeah, Iremember your story here, Karin, where
the two of them walked into aroom and then a Hunter didn't leave,
which is a weird decision, bythe way, But that's not the only
one they're talking about. They're talkingabout a bunch more of those. And
actually I can go ahead and playa little bit of Trump audio that I
thought are in fact Hunter and Jill, which is what has been reported sometimes

(23:36):
more recently now as a concern.I remember they said it was it was
his son's home. Yeah, it'sunders his son is running it, right,
you know that, right? Yes, some people do believe that he's
running our government and Jill is helpingJill is helping. Where's Hunter? Remember
the sign? Where's Hunter? Where'sHunter? He's in the White House.

(24:00):
Yes, he's in the White House. He's at the briefings. He's at
the meetings. He's having conversations heprobably shouldn't be having. And that's very
strange. Now there's another thing Iwant to play moving on. This is
Nancy Pelosi. She was on MorningJoe. She was having a conversation about
Biden. I want to remind youbefore play on this audio that our president
has not only released a full lettersaying that he's not going anywhere, he

(24:22):
did a bunch of interviews, includingone on this same program on MSNBC the
day before Nancy Pelosi swings by wherehe said he's not going anywhere. He's
running. He's in the race. He's the candidate. Everybody's got to stop
asking questions. Come together now. This is how Pelosi responds to that question
the very next day, after everythingthat Biden has said about how he's not
going anywhere, it's amount of speaker. You just went through the president's record.

(24:45):
But let me ask you about thecurrent moment. Does he have your
support to be the head of thedemocraticicont as long as the president had the
president, it's up to the presidentto suicide. And she is trying to
run decided, encouraging him to makethat decision because time is running short.
The uh, you know what Ilove about this already, I'm going to

(25:07):
stop it for a second. I'llplay more of it. This sounds like
a whole bunch of people that didn'tlike the answer they got, so they
ignored it, and they're just standingthere like, well, he's got to
decide. Still, he's got tokeep thinking about it. We got to
get Jill and Hunter to agree withus that this is a bad move and
then tell Grandpa Joe that he's notrunning anymore and he can go home finally.
But she's referring to this as ifthere's no decision made, and Biden

(25:30):
would be very upset if he waseven capable of paying attention to this.
I imagine he's not the overwhelming supportof the caucause it's not for me to
say I'm not the head of thecaucus. Uh huh. But he's beloved,
respect so great, and people wanthim to make that decision. They
want him to make that decision. He's said it, he's set it a

(25:52):
bunch of times that he's running me. He has said, he has made
the decision. He has said firmlythis week he is going to run.
Do you want him to run?I want him to do whatever he decides
to do. That's my favorite partof that, by the way, is
when you finally say it out loudto her, he's already made that decision.
Do you want him to run?I want him to think about it

(26:14):
more. It sounds like, actuallythe way you treat a child too,
doesn't It doesn't it sound like ifa kid isn't learning their lesson and you
put them in a timeout and theyget out of their time out and they
still don't seem to have learned whateverthe bad thing is they did that,
you keep talking to them like, well, you got to keep thinking about
that. You got to keep decidingwhat you're supposed to do next time you
get in the same situation. Thisis I guess if Biden refers to them

(26:37):
as the elites dealing with him acertain way, But this is how everybody
has treated this president for years now, because they all know the thing we
now know, or a lot ofus knew for a while. I do
hate that and I don't mean toprop up that narrative that a brand new
information is that Biden's brain doesn't work. That's ridiculous, and that's media aligning

(26:59):
to you on per You know what. Actually, let's play two other clips.
This is CNN again and a senatorsaying that, you know what,
Biden is pretty much unelectable and Trump'sgoing to win, and CNN seems to
be upset to hear that information. And then actually a different interview with a
DNC delegate saying things look real, real bad. Here we go, I
calling Dana Bash reported that you,Senator John Tester and Senator Shared Brown all

(27:22):
said during that launch that you don'tthink President Biden can win in twenty twenty
four. Is that true? Well, it's true that I said that,
and I did say that behind closeddoors, and you guys and others asked
whether I had said it, andthat is what I said, So I
figured I should come here and sayit publicly. Why do you think you
can't win in November? I justthink this race is on a trajectory that

(27:45):
is very worrisome if you care aboutthe future of this country. Joe Biden
was nine points up at this time. At the last time he was running,
Hillary Clinton was five points up.This is the first time in more
than twenty years that a Republican presidenthas been up in this part of the
campaign. Donald Trump is on track, I think to win the selection.

(28:06):
Yeah, you're not alone and thinkingthat. A whole lot of people have
thought that and said that for awhile. Here's a DNC delegate saying the
same thing. Yes. So youknow, essentially, if Biden ends up
running, potentially the Democrats could losethe Senate, the House, and the
White House, and it's going tobe a blood pat The blue states that
we have help for many decades mightpotentially turn read. Trump is doing well

(28:30):
when he runs against Biden in thosestates, like you won, the swing
states, the battleground states, they'relooking terrible. So at this point,
all the polling indicates that Trump isgoing to win. So we need to
send the best of the brightest outthere to run against Trump. You know
what's so interesting about that clip,by the way, that just thirty four
seconds he said best and brightest, which of course is something Trump once said

(28:52):
about the people who come into ourcountry illegally. They're not the best,
they're not the Brightest, which Ithought was interesting, But more important are
this k continued desire to pretend asthough Biden hasn't made explicitly clear that he
thinks he's still running for this office. Of a lot of Democrats are like,
well, if he runs, ifhe's the candidate. And my favorite
part about that is, you remember, and this is something that a lot

(29:15):
of people probably have been saying themselves, or at least someone in your family
has been saying that they're going tochange it, that Trump's or excuse me,
that Biden's not going to be thecandidate, that someone else is going
to run against Trump, a MichelleObama, Oprah, whoever it is,
whatever the wish list of individuals is. They've been saying it for so long
now, so many of us have, and media left leaning legacy media was

(29:37):
calling that a ridiculous conspiracy theory. How dare anybody say that? And now
they're willingly saying out loud that it'sgot to be somebody else, somebody has
to replace him. We have tofigure that out, We have to do
this differently. I love that too. If you just rewind the tape a
couple of years and use this audio, people would assume it's from well,
those individuals, the left leaning peoplewho only get their news from Star and

(30:00):
places, they would think it's fromFox News or some crazy place that they
never listen to. And now it'sthe CNNs, the MSNBC's, the everybody
else of the world, the NancyPelosi's and George Clooney is saying out loud,
we need somebody else, and weneed them now because Biden is about
to be crushed by Trump and that'ssomething that is not new information to a
whole lot of us. All Right, I'll take another break. A lot

Find Data Everywhere, d lash orDana Lash Radio on x on Twitter,
Dana Radio dot com. Great wayto stay connected, all the places you

(31:30):
can find her everywhere. I foundone story that I think is just buried
out there in the world to beuniquely interesting to what's going on in Houston.
And they're not going to feel likethey're connected, but I promise they
are. Houston right now is dealingwith a bunch of power outages after Hurricane
Berrel went through the area. It'sawful because people are in very high heat

(31:52):
and other things, without air conditioning, without ways to cool off, they're
searching for ways to fuel up theircars, which, of course, thank
god, not everybody's driving an electriccar there, But that's the connection.
I saw this story out of asmall town I think in Wyoming, where
a bus was donated from the governmentto the school that is fully electric,

(32:14):
and it's a very small town, not many people live in the area,
and kids actually first joked about thebrand new bus sounding like a UFO when
it was being used. But allof a sudden, it stopped working,
it stopped charging, it was havingother issues, and so a school that
deeply depended on this free bus fromthe government needed to ship it away for
repairs that were incredibly expensive and tookseveral months to complete, and people started

(32:37):
making jokes in the small town abouthow the one hundred and twenty thousand dollars
bus that they never would have beenable to afford that they got for free
from the government was horrible and actuallyworse than their rickety bus that they used
to use only to move the footballteam from the school to the practice field
that was less than a mile away, because that's the thing they needed replaced.

(32:58):
I found that to be hilarious andalso, you know, somewhat concerning
when you think about Houston. Ifeverybody was forced into electric vehicles like democrats
want us to be forced into electricvehicles, the situation would be even worse
there. People would even be ableto get around, they wouldn't be able
to charge anything, because it's abundantlystupid to count on electricity and electricity alone

(33:19):
as a way to power everything, including your car. It's great that when
some things aren't functioning, you haveother avenues to do stuff like drive around,
put gas into your vehicle, whatever. At least hybrid cars make more
sense to me than just fully electriccars. But I thought that was an
interesting just you know, thought experiment, if that's what you want to call
it. In Chicago, over thevery very cold months of this past winter,

(33:45):
I had a bunch of teslas andthings just sitting all over the place
that nobody could charge because weather causesissues. If you have to repair something
like this small town does, thatcauses issues and it's insanely expensive. And
then also if you have horrible thingslike a hurricane sweet through and knock out
power for everybody, then no oneis going anywhere It's interesting to me again

(34:06):
that this one story is kind ofburied and out there in the world,
and that the Biden administration seems soproud of themselves for sending a free bus
to a very small place that hasalmost no use for it. They don't
really have charging stations available. It'stremendously difficult for them to handle the freeness
and the value of something that doesn'tjust have gas, get put into it
and go, which is something thatI think I can totally understand as far

(34:29):
as how ridiculous it is. Oneother quick thing out there that I just
thought was funny before we take abreak, and this is something that I
thought, you know, maybe alot of people do. Apparently the average
American says I'm tired at least threetimes a day fourteen hundred and sixty hours
a year of feeling tired. Accordingto a brand new poll online, fifty

(34:50):
eight percent of US will avoid peoplein social interactions because we feel tired.
Thirty four percent of us skip events, twenty seven have canceled plans on friends.
That's what it it feels like toget older. By the way,
I'm almost forty, and I understandthat I'm too tired to go do whatever
you just invited me to do movethat so many people have. But I
do love another part of this.Anytime I say out loud I'm tired too

(35:12):
much, the wife tells me shedoesn't care. It's like, stop saying
that, I don't care you're tired. You can keep it to yourself.
And it's hilarious because she's right.I do go a little bit on repeat
with that, as apparently a lotof Americans do. But you gotta just
buck up. You gotta figure itout, man. You gotta go into
the world tired and live and livewell, and hopefully you don't have to
charge anything, especially in Houston.I feel bad for everybody there. All

(35:34):
right, quick break a lot more. Greg Collin's filling in on the Dana

that's said. Not every woman islike me, has had the hours of
training that I've had, or itfeels comfortable around firearms due to years of
you so, or maybe they're bya gun free zone. I like to

(35:55):
change that what I can while encouragingself defense at the same time. So
this is where Burna comes in.It's kind of like a starter weapon.
It's they make a non firearm firearm. I like the idea of incredible force
sending chemical irritants towards a threat asan additional option for women and d Berna

target acquisition, zero recoil. Bernais legal in all fifty states. There's
no background checks, no permits required, and shipped directly to your door.

I thought this was interesting a SupremeCourt decision that's not getting as much coverage

(37:07):
as the presidential immunity case. Ofcourse, Democrats are already trying to do
something that essentially tries to usurp anysort of power of the Supreme Court would
have in giving presidents immunity, specificallyTrump, and trying to take it away.
But the Chevron Deference decision, theoverturning of something that's long been criticized
as a Supreme Court decision that overlyempowered bureaucracy and parts of our say you

(37:34):
know, political system that allowed forstates or other organizations to say, you
know what, we defer any ofour decision making to these federal agencies.
We don't have to be involved init. We don't have to do certain
stuff, whether that's as stupid ashow many light bulbs you're allowed to own
or what type of light bulbs you'reallowed to own. The Chevron Deference case
from nineteen eighty four did empower bureaucracy. It empowered a lot of people who

(37:59):
are not all elected into positions buthave held them for a long time and
make decisions about all kinds of things, and the Supreme Court decided to overturn
that, and in doing so,and I think even CNBC has a story
out about this where they're talking aboutit seems to have projected that a lot
of stuff could change, that therecould be a quote legal earthquake, according
to them or even Chief Justice Robertson the amount of things that might be

(38:23):
challenged now because there were hundreds ofcases that used the decision in the Deference
case as a way in which toback any sort of decision making or any
sort of thing in which you're like, wait a minute, do state officials
have the power to do this?Does the federal government of the power to
do this? Can certain agencies decideon this? Or that? It seems

(38:45):
that all of these things now couldwind up being back and retried and changed.
And so there's a huge amount ofimpact from a case that's getting very
little coverage but probably will get moreand more and more as we go here.
The Chevron deference case or the Chevronreversal, I think as it's being
referred to now, is someone thingyou'll probably know more about or hear more

(39:07):
about over the next six eight twelvemonths. I imagine we will see though,
and of course you'll just keep hearingabout something totally stupid in the news
too, a Project twenty twenty five. But I think that'll make way for
a conversation about something more important. All Right, I want to play a
piece of audio that I thought washilarious. Trump did a rally in Florida

(39:27):
last night. He said a lotof Trump stuff, some of it very
very funny, including that he wantsto play a round of golf against Biden,
in which he'd give him ten strokesper nine holes. It's an eighteen
hole challenge, so he gets twentystrokes on Trump and if Biden somehow beats
him in golf, Trump would donatea million dollars to Biden's charity of choice.

(39:50):
That's a real thing, he said. It's a thing that should happen,
and it's awesome. But there wasthis other moment where CNN tried to
read word for word, or whiledid read word for word something Trump had
said. Well, they were stillairing his rally in Florida, so they
try to jump over it. Theytry to say stuff, and what's hilarious
is as they go through this.I think the point they're trying to make

(40:12):
is that Trump's a terrible person whosays terrible stuff. But this is epically
good and I think utterly accurate, and a whole bunch of people who are
reacting with it on social media arelike, man, I can't believe that
CNN read word for word this thingthat Trump said, because it's hilarious how
true it is. Here we go, here's an example of what that was.
What happens if Kamala Harris is atthe top of the ticket. I

(40:32):
want to reach you exactly what hesaid, because he just said it moments
ago, so we haven't been ableto cut that sound yet. But he
says, whatever can be said aboutcrooker Joe Biden, you have to give
him credit for one brilliant decision.Picking Kamala Harris as his vice president was
the greatest insurance policy of all time. If Joe had picked someone even halfway
competent, they would have bounced upfrom his office years ago. All right,

(40:54):
So again, she's even apologizing thatwhoever the producers are at CNN couldn't
cut Trump's audio of the rally,Well, they reread something he just spoke.
But that is so true. Ijust said this to a buddy of
mine on a little podcast thing thatI do. You can find me Radio
Craigs if you want. Two otherplaces that if you had a vice president

(41:14):
right now that was overwhelmingly popular, that seemed utterly capable of the job,
and not a DEI hire like KamalaHarris. And I know you get in
trouble when you say that, butdarn it, it's true. And Democrats
themselves were the ones that put itout there in twenty nineteen and twenty twenty.
But I digress. If you hadsomeone that was amazing, the odds
of Biden being able to stay inthis race are literally zero. It would

(41:37):
be absolutely impossible to keep someone elsewho was an air apparent that the Democratic
Party loved from their chance to bein that seat. They even do it
now. They would use the twentyfifth Amendment to remove Biden from power,
tell him that his brain is toobroken and he has to go home with
his son and his wife. Whoreally are the ones who want to be

(41:58):
in charge of the White House rightnow now or in charge of the country,
But they don't have that. Theyhave a deeply unpopular fortune cookie version
of a human that says things withsuch levels of dishonesty or lack of authenticity
that they're full circle conversations where shereally says nothing for twenty five minutes.
That's the biggest problem the Democratic Partyhas. It's not that they've been lying

(42:22):
about Biden for so long, it'sthat they truly have no good second option
to replace him with. And thatsays something about this party that you don't
see very often in our society, which is they have no good secondary move
which means they have no way toeven placate their base anymore. Their base
is insane, their bases protesting andsupporting a terrorist organization, terrorist organization,

(42:46):
excuse me all the time, andwhat they're doing in one of many things
that seems too difficult for them tohandle, them being the Democrats. And
as I say this, I wantto look back on something else, probably
a reason that this montage exist usout there in the world. This is
all the times that House Democrats havetried to cover up Biden's cognitive decline or
his lack of ability to think thingsand say things. Just amazing how many

(43:10):
times you heard people say he's agenius behind closed doors, We don't know
what he looks like publicly because wedon't even pay attention to that, and
now kind of you have to.But the biggest reason for this existing for
so long is that Harris is alsoterrible President VI is absolutely his knowledge of

(43:30):
the issues. He has strategic thinkingabout legislating all in the head. I
have spoken with the president. Heis fully coherent, he is on top
of detail, he's sharp, he'sfit, and he's always answering questions.
I think that Joe Biden's mental acuityis very, very on. He's one
of the smartest, sharpest people I'vemet in DC. In my mind,

(43:51):
I got it. I gotta buzzit right there that I feel bad for
that lady if that's one of thesmartest people she's met in DC. Although
I'm not all that surprise. Ithink DC has a lot of people that
probably I would rate is not thesmartest in the world, or not the
smartest in our country, or notthe best of the best. But nonetheless,
if Biden's on the top of thatlist, yikes. Until the president
is mentally foot fall sirs, JoeBiden rightly says that he has grown very

(44:14):
wise in his many decades in publicoffice as it stands today, you believe
that President Biden is clear, candidand convincing. Oh he's so good,
He's so great. They just keepgoing and going, and this is something
they've been doing for so long thatnow it's hard for them to all of
a sudden pull back and change. All right, let's switch gears to something
else. I know Biden is allover the news, and probably rightfully so,

(44:36):
because finally a news media is admittingthat his brain doesn't work. But
Krine John Pierre was talking about somethingelse that I thought was really fascinating.
At yesterday's a White House Press briefing, the White House Press Secretary, she
got a question about Iran and howthey're using assets to fuel pro Hamas,
pro Palestine, whatever you want tocall it, protests in the United States

(44:59):
is trying to influence the way inwhich people behave in our country. That's
not new information to some of usout there, but this would be one
of the scarier things for this administrationto ignore or pretend isn't happening. And
based on the answer Kring John Pierregave, I don't feel so good about
what they're doing to try to preventthis and stop this. There's even an

(45:22):
admission from the DNI that they Iranianassets are paying people to protest, which
again, not all of that shockingto people who have been paying attention for
a while, but certainly something thatthis White House would continue to say is
utterly untrue in a conspiracy theory. One other thing that's come up in the
last little bit, as the Directorof National Intelligence, well, Haynes,
I don't know if you've seen thisissue is staying a little while ago,

(45:45):
staying in part in recent weeks,Iranian government actors have stuff to opportunistically take
advantage of ongoing protests regarding the WarrenGosh, these playbooks we've seen other actors
use over the years. We've observedactors tied to a Ram's government posing his
active online you can can encourage protestsand even providing financial support to protest.
She goes on later to urge Americansto remain vigilant as they engage online with

(46:07):
accounts and actors they don't personally know. But that's a pretty big charge to
make that Iran maybe trying to influencethese protests in the streets of the United
States. The Director of National Intelligencesaid out loud the other day, and
maybe this was intent to be adistraction, because again it's not something that
everyone that hears this would think isimpossible or not something that happens all the

(46:27):
time, but nonetheless said out loudthat Iran is using stupid young people in
ways that are making stupid young peopleprotest things that benefit Iran and a terrorist
group in Amas. That's bad.Let's see how caring John Pierre handles it.
Oh, yes, I know whatyou're speaking of, what the d
and I warned about. Obviously, for any specifics I would have to refer

(46:47):
you back to director Haynes and her. I know what you're talking about.
I can't really talk about it specificallybecause I don't want to know about it
statement, But broadly speaking, herejust bear with me for a second,
all right, is seeking to opportunisticallytake advantage of protest. So I want
to echo the DNI's remarks. Today, Americans across the political spectrum, acting

(47:10):
in good faith, have sought toexpress their own independent views on the conflict
in Gaza. The freedom to expressdiverse views, when done peacefully, is
essential to our demarket. By theway, she's reading from a script as
she starts going through all this saying, how you know, it's so important
to respect everybody's opinion and make surethat anyone who wants to voice their concern.
And that's true. I do agreethat protests are a fundamental right of

(47:32):
living and being a part of theUnited States. But when you have Iranian
backed assets that are literally paying peopleout of protest in the streets, and
then you finally have the Democratic Partysomewhat acknowledging it, because the DNI is
acknowledging it, you have something that'slong been thought of as a conspiracy theory
out there in the world. Andstill the first response of this White House

(47:54):
of this administration is to defend thosethat may be being taken advantage of buy
Iran. We want to make surethat everybody understands that their voice matters and
is important, even the people whoare being paid by a country that is
not exactly our friend, that ispropping up a terrorist group that wants to
kill everyone in Israel, and oh, by the way, also kill everyone

(48:15):
in America. That's another thing thatHamas would desire, or another of their
stated goals. But nonetheless, asyou hear all that, you got to
go into the wokism first, andmake sure that everybody hears the White House
say we support you, protester, young person who's been talking to someone that's
an Iranian asset online, and thenyou go out and protest and you get

(48:37):
some money in your bank because ofit. All those things are fine as
long as you're doing them in goodfaith. However much they're wielding your stupidity
against you, which is something thatthe Democratic Party also seems to like to
do a whole lot, until eventuallythey can anymore. When Biden can't finish
sentences on a national stage. Allright, I'll take a break. A
lot coming up, Craig Collins fillingin on The Dana Show. According to

(50:29):
the news you would probably miss,it's time for Dana's quickfive. I gotta
do this real quick. First,Taco Bell apparently is going to lean into
something called Grandma core gen Z likesold people stuff. That's the description online.
So Taco Bell for one week inCalifornia is going to put on the
Cantena's Retirement thing that encourages young peopleto go to an event around Taco Bell

(50:54):
that is quote unquote the experience ofretirement for two nights plus eleve Taco Bell
dining. This is beyond dumb.If young people already want to retire,
which I imagine a whole lot ofthem do, and just be social media
influencers, it's a demonstration of howbroken our world is. Other things out
there. A dude in Jersey isa super fan of Wah Wah, and

(51:15):
that makes sense. I'm also fromJersey and they got great food. Anyway,
he tried to complete the wah WahChallenge, which, according to this
guy named Tyler, is getting everyorder number from zero to nine hundred and
ninety nine. He finally got itdone. I feel a little bad for
him because this is a tad obsessive, But here he is talking about it

(51:35):
with a coffee, and then I'lllike, I'll usually get lunch from there,
sometimes dinners. My collection just gotbigger and bigger, and then eventually
I was just like, Okay, well now I need to collect all of
them. And now here we are. Now here we are, and now
I don't know what else to dowith my life. I am viral for
a thing that not a lot ofpeople are going to respect. But hey,
Wawa's great. I'm not judging you. Another thing out there that I
do like, and it's probably becauseI'm a juvenile. A guy has gone

(51:59):
viral for using a fake third legto walk around in a town. A
woman who saw him out in thestreets reacted, and that video was all
over the place. Yes, youcan make a lot of jokes if you
want. Sound like you're all ofa sudden part of an Austin Powers movie.
That's a dated reference, but Ican't help myself. But here it
is. Here's the guy who madea fake third leg just to freak people

(52:22):
out on the street, and itdefinitely was working. What am I looking
at here? What am I lookingat I love that woman. The guy
moves the third leg, which againnot real, with his arm and apparently
some sort of device that is alsocreating an extra leg in his pants.
The guy is proud to be thequote unquote first three legged man. Again,

(52:43):
not that he's the first person tomake that claim, but he's the
first guy to go viral on theinternets for a very dumb reason. I
can't help it. One last thingout there, as far as a quick
five goes, guess what, ninetyfour percent of artificially intelligence written college exams
went undetected. In a startling study, A meaning cheat GPT or chat GPT

(53:05):
really really good at getting you throughyour college courses, as long as it
also says whatever woke agenda might beon par with your college professors. But
that's a bad look. Ninety fourpercent of these AI written things were things
that did not get caught when peoplewere trying to do this intentionally. Good
luck to us, good luck tosociety, and the three legged man.

(53:27):

This is the Dana Show. Myname is Craig Collins, filling in,
thrilled to be with you. Youcan find Dana everywhere. She's all over

(54:58):
the internet, Rumbell, YouTube, direct TV channel three forty seven. Whatever
you need, you can find her. She's that popular and that impressive as
a human being. I'm not tryingto kiss up. I'm just being honest.
She's all over the place. Allright. I'm Craig, as I
said, filling in. I'm notas popular radio Grigsy. If you want
to follow me. I love acouple things I just got sent from producer

(55:20):
Steven that are interesting and out therein the world. First, a Chicago
fundraising group is going to cancel anevent that was scheduled during the Democratic National
Convention, the one that's probably goingto announce Biden as its candidate, although
maybe not if Democrats get their way. In the very short amount of time
they've given themselves left. Apparently, these fund these donors, these fundraisers don't

(55:43):
really want to be a part ofthis anymore, as Biden is demonstrating just
how terrible he is at this job. This is not new. We've heard
this about other people. A Disneyheiress who said she's not doing anything anymore.
George Clooney is out there now apparently, and I do that that was
breaking news. Even Fox covered it, and Peter Doucy covered it, and

(56:04):
I can actually play that audio foryou in just a second. But even
Cloney is saying, you got tostep aside, sir. You know,
the performative aspects of democratic politics, politics in general, for sure, of
a democratic politics specifically, couldn't bemore on display than when you have stuff
like this happening, and when youhave reports about how George Cloney is now

(56:24):
stepping aside in his potential support forthe current president. You do also have
a George Stephanoppolis thing that I thoughtwas pretty interesting. Maybe we'll play that
first, But nonetheless, top Chicagodonors are halting their convention fundraising because not
a good idea. Also, Ido have a House Minority leader, Hakeem

(56:45):
Jeffries. I think it was tweetedout earlier today. Again, a great
catch by producer Steven that some Democratshave been saying things to Jeffries and he's
going to have a meeting with Bidento chit chat about what's being said.
I imagine it's not good. Iimagine it's more of the things that Stephanopolis
and Clooney are saying. All right, let's do the Battle of the Georgia's

(57:06):
and let's do Stephanopolis first. Hewas found on the street by TMZ and
a guy that kind of held hisphone down to the side, So I
think that probably Stephanopolis was not awarehe was being recorded, which is legal
in New York, you can dothat. Was asked an honest question and
gave an honest answer something he isnow trying to backtrack, and ABC is
trying to backtrack from which I findhilarious. But here we go. Hey,

(57:32):
excusan, Hey, how you doing? What do you think do you
think Biden should set down? Youtalked to him more than anybody else have
lately, and he would be offserfor more years. You don't think you
can serve four more years? Allright? That's an answer? All right?
I love that. And if youdidn't really hear it, the TMZ
reporter went ahead and repeated it foryou. You don't think he can serve

(57:52):
another four years, That's what Stephanopolissaid, And yeah, that is an
answer indeed, as I said. You also have the report from Fox and
Peter Doocey saying that George Clooney, one of the famous Hollywood people who just
helped fundraise for Biden in California, demanding that Obama actually show up before they

(58:12):
organized any of this, is apparentlynow pulling his support and this is extraordinary.
Just a few minutes ago, GeorgeClooney has posted an op ed in
The New York Times. I'm goingto realign from it. He says,
I love Joe Biden as a senator, as a Vice president and president.
I consider him a friend, andI believe in him, believe in his
character, believe in his morals. But he goes on to say he thinks

(58:37):
that they need a new presidential nominee. Remember, just a couple of weeks
ago, President Biden raced back fromEurope to get to Los Angeles for a
George Clooney hosted fundraiser where Barack Obamawas also there. Bill Clinton was there.
George Clooney is now saying that afterhe watched the debate he wants a
new top of the ticket that isgoing to stink. You know what,

(59:00):
Actually this is like, this ishow I should have compared it, because
I know this is pretty much allpeople are talking about right now, and
it might get annoying, but theversion of it's finally okay to say out
loud that you don't support Biden becausehe's been terrible at his job, his
brain doesn't work anymore. You pickthe reason is the debate more and more
people and I'm like, wait aminute, it's okay. I'm not going

(59:20):
to get eaten by my own I'mnot going to have the John Stuart reaction
when John Stewart did his first dailyshow months ago and said that Biden seemed
like he wasn't all there, andthen said that he got a crazy amount
of responses from the left leaning mediasaying how bad he was at his job
and Stuart should re retire. Thoseare all things that really happened. I'm
not trying to overly play Stuart.I'm just saying that the left attacks its

(59:44):
own often, and now the debateseems like finally the moment where people are
like, okay, yeah, nowyou can say it without getting attacked or
maybe getting attacked a little bit lessby some of the crazies. Here is
a moment of Joe himself rambling throughanother speech that he gave, which seems
to demonstrate yet again, he's goingto be awful if you let him stay
in this job for another day, much less another four years. And I

(01:00:07):
think you as my domestic NATO.Not a joke, not a joke.
No one thought it was a joke. You're the ones. You're the ones
beyond me, and you know youknow that better than I do. It's
all about whether or not we're goingto grow the economy all right, whether
we're going to give working people ashot. You didn't do that, And

(01:00:27):
I told you, and you knowbecause you lot of you were there with
me all the way back when Iwas a kid. And I'm only forty
two. But what I love that, as he's saying to a crowd of
people, you were all there withme and you know, for a while
with this stuff and I'm forty somethingAnd that was a joke. People,
I don't know if you can tellit with a joke. Oh my god,
that is the current president of theUnited States. All right, let's

(01:00:47):
play a little bit more from Trumpand his rally in Florida. He said
that half of Americans are incapable ofdoing something that Crooked Joe Biden or Sleepy
Joe or whatever nickname he wants tohim, has done a whole lot of
You can probably guess what it wasunder Biden and Harris. Half of Americans
are not taking a vacation at allthis summer because they can't afford to do

(01:01:07):
it. Mos say it's because thecost of daily life is so high.
No matter what they make, theycan't because you know, they like to
say twenty percent, twenty nine percent, twenty six percent, thirty one percent.
I think your inflation, your realinflation, is way over fifty percent.
And I believe that. Meanwhile, crook and Joe has spent almost fifty

(01:01:28):
percent of his presidency on vacation, almost all of it, including many many
weeks on the beach and mansions areAnd think of this. Here's a guy
that's been a politician all his life. He's got homes in the Virgin Islands,
Nantucket, Lake Tahoe, Kihwa Island. I mean, where the hell

(01:01:49):
did I get all this money Byron. I love that he has his own
son where they got all his money, almost as if he's blaming Byron for
not doing a better job, butcashing in on Pop's job when he was
in the White House. One otherquick thing that I saw from Axios that
I thought was pretty funny. Apparentlythere was a House Democrats come to Jesus
meeting about President Biden and his likelypath forward or lack of a path forward.

(01:02:14):
It included this is all according toAxios. You can look it up
if you want yourself. A smallgroup of swing district Democrats that started to
cry actual tears during the conversation becauseBiden is doing terrible in swing states.
Biden is doing shockingly bad in somedeep blue states like New York, which
now seemed to be potential battlegrounds. There's a bunch of things going on.

(01:02:37):
But I love this that some peopleon this phone call, on this large
group of Democrats talking about things justwent into tears, which sounds like it's
the actual move most often of peopleon that side of the political aisle.
You don't actually take action, Youjust get sad when you can't do the
things you want. Actually even TheBreakfast Club, which is a weird thing

(01:02:59):
that's going viral on its own, seems to be admitting on one of its
recent shows that there is no chancethat Biden will be the president if he
stays in this race, and thatTrump will easily be elected. There were
even listeners calling in to that show, The Breakfast Club and saying some horrific
things I can't play on the airabout how there's no chance forward for their

(01:03:21):
guy, and the other guy's definitelygoing to win, the other guy,
of course, being Trump. Ifind that hilarious though, that even there
they're saying these things out loud andbeing a little bit more confused than maybe
you would expect them to be,because this has been very obvious and out
there for a long time. AllRight, there's one other thing I do
want to play. I played ita little earlier, but it's so good
you got to play it again.Tom Elliott's a guy at Grabian. Grabian's

(01:03:45):
a website that can help you pullall kinds of different clips if you want
to. If you're somebody who worksin media, whatever it might be,
of stuff going on in the worldof a mainstream news or anyone else and
he put together one of the betterthings. And honestly, this guy's great
and does this often, but betterthings I've seen in a while. This
is Democrats in twenty seventeen, twentyeighteen, twenty nineteen saying that Trump was

(01:04:09):
unfit mentally and needed to be removedfrom office by the twenty fifth Amendment,
something that is obviously of need forBiden right now, but something that Democrats
were saying and doing and now wouldbe irate if Republicans tried to go that
road or have talked about going thatroad. It's so good as far as
catching the hypocrisy of politicians and mediaand just all this crap that's out there.

(01:04:33):
But here this is a minute orso of a nine minute supercut of
all the crazy things Democrats said abouttrying to remove Trump from the office this
way, that way, anyway theycould. And again, as you continue
to run a man who seems mentallyand capable of a lot of things,
it begs the question of how youcan possibly be this dishonest, this disingenuous,

(01:04:57):
this just evil in your day today life with darn it. So
many of these people are responsibility asthe US Congress, and we've got that
under the twenty fifth Amendment, everybodyshould go and read it. No,
he somebody's to be medicated and hospitalizedat this point or he is going to
just kill all of us. Peopleare talking about the twenty fifth Amendment and
they're saying he's just not mentally fitto be the president. And I think

(01:05:19):
if you're doing this, I mean, is there a mental fitness problem?
We all know the ramifications of nuclearwar. This bike is concerned about the
president's mental fitness. This president isnot fits. This twenty fifth Amendment kind
of stuff that should have already activatedthe vice president and a majority of the
cabinet, oh to remove the presidentas unfit to serve under the twenty fifth

(01:05:42):
Amendment and invoking things like the twentyfifth Amendment. You know they brought in
this. Yelle, psychiatrist, watchthe president closely. Is there a case
to be made for the twenty fifthAmendment? Specifically under the twenty fifth Amendment,
president's not fit for command? Butoh man, he's really having some
problems here. That's where the twentyfifth Amendment thing started to Okay, there's
nine minutes of this, which againa genius stroke by Tom Elliott to go

(01:06:03):
and find this out there in theworld. But it's amazing because as you
listen to all of these things again, if you were replacing the name Trump
with the name Biden, you'd beshocked at how honest media can be.
But it's twenty seventeen, twenty eighteen, and they're going after Trump because they
don't like the stuff he's saying orthe things he's doing, and not because
he couldn't finish his sentences or hewas getting lost on stage. On a

(01:06:26):
daily basis, it's just amazing towatch, amazing to see a willingness to
attack, attack, attack, andthen defend, defend, defend, depending
on which side of the aisles inpower. You don't need to question if
media is biased. You just needto watch stuff like this to realize just
how deeply biased and crazy it isand how bad it is, how they're

(01:06:46):
essentially, as some politicians have said, and it's almost tinfoil hattie to the
other side of the aisle when yousay it the enemy of the people,
because this level of lack of truth, talent, and need to do specific
things to further agenda is It's terrifyingbut also granted to me darkly humorous quick

That's right, this is the DanaShow. My name is Craig Collins
filling in at radio craigcy for me, way more popular person at d LASH
or Dana Lash Radio on social media. For her, she's the way more

(01:08:41):
popular person. Of course, followher for all the information you need about
this show or anything going on.Let's do some Florida Man stories. It's
his life mission to make bad decisions. It's time for Florida Man. Florida
Man's a lot of on. Thefirst one is an amazing video that I

(01:09:02):
wish I could show you, butI can't because it's radio. So look
it up for yourself if you'd like. I think Fox seven in Austin is
one of the places that shared thisthing. A Florida man survived a sixty
foot plunge into a creek with onlyminor injuries. The reason the video is
so good is all you see isa tree and a rope. You don't
see the guy. He's already passedwherever he set up the camera to be

(01:09:26):
higher up on the tree than heprobably should be. Then all of a
sudden you see what seems to bea snapped tree branch that probably is the
reason he fell, and a dudeholding it and then bouncing off of some
other branches on the tree and thensplashing into the water. It's amazing to
watch. There's no audio that Icould find, just the video version is
out there. And the dude's fine. His name's Christopher. He's like,

(01:09:47):
ah, that was not great, but I guess he just kind of shook
it off and kept going. Idon't know what he was doing climbing the
tree. I don't know any ofthe other details of what's going on,
but just watching a dude well holdinga tree branch no longer connected to a
tree in Florida is about peak Floridaman if I've ever seen it. I
no word on af alcohol was involvedat all. I'm going to guess about

(01:10:10):
that, but I can't be sure. Other Florida man stories out there.
Florida Man is accused of breaking intohis neighbor's home. The reason this probably
went viral and Fox thirty five andOrlando covered this one is because his neighbor
is dead. I don't know whythe Florida guy thought, hey, free
house, I'm going to go aheadand swing it over here. But cop
said that's not something you're allowed todo. The man's name is Jody.

(01:10:32):
I'm not judging him, just puttingit out there. His first name is
Jody. He's fifty two. Hewas charged with unarmed burglary of an unoccupied
dwelling because he just decided to livein his neighbor's home. He was there
for about a week, authorities think, before they caught him, and he
finds himself now behind bars. Hedidn't have much of a good explanation for

(01:10:54):
what he said he did, otherthan the fact that he knew his neighbor
and passed away and he noticed thatnobody was really going in the house.
So all of a sudden, aman named Jody took it upon himself to
do some things, all right,One other one out there in the world.
Not exactly the most fun story, certainly, something where you think that
the name of this person might actuallybe Biden, but a ton of beach

(01:11:14):
man inappropriately touched girls in an apartmentpool. He was arrested for that.
That is certainly something that's more disgustingthan anything else. Some of the women
or children were young, as youngas twelve. Again, the only reason
I make a reference to Biden isthere's this weird video going around right now

(01:11:35):
where a president seems to be likemaking some sort of strange joke with a
child where he's pretending to eat thechild's back. And I don't know how
to say that differently, you canfind the video out there. This dude
inappropriately touching people. His name's Kevin, fifty seven years old, sent to
jail for that, because well that'shorrible. But nonetheless, yet another Florida

(01:11:58):
man doing Florida man things that maybehe learned from the president. It's going
to feel like a shot that peoplethink was inappropriate to take. But watch
the video of Biden dealing with achild by doing the strangest thing, and
honestly, you can see the faceof the mom. I just real quick,
I know this isn't about Biden,but I can't help it, and
how upset she is as the presidentis doing a really dumb, stupid thing.

(01:12:19):
It's not every day that you seesome stranger that upset with a man
they showed up to support after hemakes a weird decision as she's holding a
child very close to him. Butit's not a first for our president,
and I assume not a first forthis Florida dude to be an awful person
as he's been. But those arethe Florida man stories out there in the
world. You gotta watch the videoof a sixty foot plunge, not just

(01:12:41):
because the guy's okay, but itis hilarious to see the way he basically
didn't move. All right, quickbreak a lot more. Craig Collins filling
in on the Dana Show. Thisis Craig Collins filling in on the Dana
Show. As you just heard dLash or Dana Lash Radio on x on
Twitter is a great way to stayconnected to her and listen to her every
day. The Audacity app a wholebunch of places out to stay connected.

(01:13:01):
Dana Radio dot com, let's dothis. Let's play the interview heard around
the world. I don't know ifthat's what that really is, but Nancy
Pelosi one of many people who's stillbehaving as though Biden hasn't said again and
again and again, and then writtena letter and then another letter about how
he's staying in the race and he'sthe nominee and he's going to run for
office, that maybe he's not running, which seems that she knows something that

(01:13:26):
Biden doesn't know, which is trueof most people on this earth right now
with current Biden. But here's whatPelosi said on Morning Joe one day after
Biden defiantly said he's absolutely running andis the candidate for the Democratic Party.
Does he have your support to bethe head of the Democrats? As long
as the president had the president,it's up to the president to suicide if
he is going to run. We'reall encouraging him to make that decision because

(01:13:54):
time is running short. The Ithink overwhelming support of the call. It's
not for me to say. I'mnot the head of the caucus anymore.
But he's beloved, he is respected, and people want him to make that
decision. Has me. He hassaid he has made the decision. He
has said firmly this week he isgoing to run. Do you want him

(01:14:16):
to run? I want him todo whatever he decides to do, and
that's how could you say that?As an answer to that, he said
he's running, He's made his decision. Do you want him to be in
charge? I want him to thinkabout it more. I want him to
try harder before he discusses it.Then Pelosi was actually asked in the hallway
why she said what she said andif she supports Biden, and she got

(01:14:39):
all mad at the person asking herquestions in the hallway. I'm not talking
to you about this stuff, whichwas a weird response after talking about it
on morning Joe Laydon the President Biden, why you said the same may for
anybody else about doesn't I know it'shard to understand that if he can't hear?
She says, did did you tellBiden what you said this morning on

(01:15:01):
TV? And Pelosi says, I'mnot telling you or anybody else, with
all due respect. It sounds likethe version of with all due respect you
heard from Talladega Knights, But I'mnot telling you what I say to Biden
or anybody else. How dare youleave I never I understand I'm a speaker.
Do you believe that him waiting solong to make this thing? Any

(01:15:21):
comments ten away of that. Areyou going, sir, whether or not
he's been winning on that? Ithink he hand? Do you believe it's
your unper election? I'm fine.I'm not speaking English to you more.
Oh man, She goes, amI speaking English to you? Do you

(01:15:43):
understand the words that are coming outof my mouth? I'm not talking to
you about this. I'm not bringingthis up anymore. We hope that Biden
does the right thing, that's theunspoken version of what she's trying to say,
and drops out of the sucker becausewe need him to. By the
way, there's a report out there, I think it's from a newsweek in
some other places say just how manyyoung voters are flocking to the Republican Party.
I remember I first started talking aboutthis a few months ago, and

(01:16:06):
one of my own personal observations wasgoing on certain social media sites and seeing
a larger number than I ever rememberof young looking people defending Trump on certain
sites in all kinds of ways.Whether it was defending him after the judicial
system went after him, defending himfor being the person who's going to make

(01:16:26):
your life better than Biden made it. But I saw that, and I
read some of the trends in data, and I know that I was accused
at times of just making it upby crazy people out there, But a
brand new study again reinforces this idea. For the first time in a very
long time, voters under the ageof thirty, and granted it's only by
a couple percentage points identify more oftenas members of the GOP or Republicans than

(01:16:50):
they do as Democrats. The percentageis forty eight to forty six or so.
This actually took place before the debate. This started as a poll in
February and then ran until early June. So six hundred and twenty six US
adults under the age of thirty wereasked a question, and for the first
time in a long time, datademonstrated that more of them identified as conservatives

(01:17:14):
than as liberals. And that's probablybecause of all the ridiculousness and the lying
and the craziness and then just howbad in general your life is with Biden
being in charge of stuff. Andactually, to prove this point even further,
which is odd, there's this storyabout a young woman twenty one still
going to college. I think thisis in a very small town in Georgia,

(01:17:35):
who just got elected mayor now.She says that politics is in her
blood. Her father was the mayorof this small town of like five hundred
people. Her name is Brooke. She's, as I said, a college
student who's not quitting school to bemayor of the town. I think CNN
and other places did like a digitalstory on this, and I have some
of that audio. Let me seeif I can play a little bit of

(01:17:56):
that. It was just a rapof interest in all the people in my
age and they don't really care aboutpolitics, and it really inspired me to
kind of take the jump in andgo ahead and get ahead story on it.
Older generation is not always going tobe a technical well. I love
the fact that you got a likechild doing the story too. It sounds
like a very young voice saying thatshe's going to manage the town. Here.

(01:18:18):
I'll play the audio. I willalso not quitting school. Hope he's
still taking college courses. She's workingto earn her agricultural technology degree at A's
Nice Agricultural College. She also workspart time as a support services worker with
the Georgia Department of Agriculture. Whilerunning for office, some systems questioned her
ability to run at such a youngage. Sure, she believes this is

(01:18:39):
the best place to learn more aboutgovernment. How is someone supposed to gain
the experience without putting themselves into thering? Okay, I love that point,
although I do think that shooting formayor of your town is probably a
little bit of a high leverage situationthat most people wouldn't actually achieve at the
age of say twenty one. Iwill also still try to continue your education
and go to school and whatnot. But nonetheless, this young person, now

(01:19:01):
the mayor of five hundred people, feels that it's the best way for her
to learn how politics work, Iwhile also working on trying to be in
the world of agriculture, which seemspretty good. I do love that story.
It's being praised on the left asa thing that demonstrates that young people
are actively participating in politics. Butwhat's funny about it is she's a conservative,
and she's someone who probably doesn't alignwith the CNNs of the world who

(01:19:25):
are celebrating her and some of theheadline grabbing parts of the story, and
not necessarily any of the other stuffout there. I don't know if this
matters to people. I know thatat least one person commented on this.
The woman is also relatively attractive andseems to have a decent social media following,
So was it like an Instagram influencertype of thing. I don't know.
It's five hundred people in a smallplace in Georgia. I imagine name

(01:19:47):
recognition and her father having also beenmayor probably helped her more than anything else.
But I thought it was interesting itwas out there. Another thing that
deserves to be talked about today thatis not about Biden and how broken his
brain is is Alec Baldwin. Hisruss trial has finally started. This comes
on the heels of the fact thatAlec Baldwin is going to do a reality

(01:20:09):
show with his wife, who suddenlydoesn't use a fake accent anymore, and
their family, which is odd ashe's also being tried for committing murder.
Now, anybody who knows anything aboutguns, and this should be everyone in
the world of Hollywood. If you'regoing to be handed a gun, whether
it has blanks in it or youknow, whatever it is you're doing.

(01:20:30):
But anybody who's a responsible gun ownerlike I am, like Dana is,
like all kinds of people are.I knows, you never point a weapon
at a person unless you intend toshoot that person. That's the only moment
in which you do that. Youalso always check to see if there's any
sort of bullet in the chamber ofthe gun. I know this is radio.
You can't see me, but I'mdoing it. I'm pulling back to
see if i have a bullet inmy imaginary gun that I'm not holding in

(01:20:54):
my hand right now, because it'sthe first thing anyone who has a gun
does. You always check to seeif it's loaded, to see if it's
empty, and you would know thedifference between a blank and a real bullet.
This is something Alex should have known. He also never should have pointed
the gun, no matter for whatreason why someone would be standing behind a
camera or something at a person. It never should have happened. And you

(01:21:15):
never should have pulled the trigger withsomeone down the barrel of your weapon,
regardless of what you thought was init. All those things, again,
are things that any responsible safe gunowner knows, and so Alec Baldwin and
his defense team saying it was atragedy, it was an accident, but
he committed no crime. Absolutely, throw out every lesson you're supposed to learn
about doing this responsibly and you knowwhat the more valuable conversation and all this

(01:21:40):
is. But I kind of thinkit's fascinating. I'm relatively new to being
a gun owner. I've only beentrying to learn how to shoot for the
last couple of years. I gota few buddies who are experts that bring
me shooting and give me all kindsof tips and stuff. And what I
think is fascinating is individuals who've nevertried it, who have no understanding of
it or what it's like, orany of the aspects about how responsible people

(01:22:03):
are who do this, that judgeit, that think that every part of
this is bad, or gun controlis the only way to prevent people from
hurting other people, or whatever thecrap is that the politicians say. And
I imagine that Alec Baldwin and abunch of Hollywood even fall into that category,
which means they would probably resist learningthe correct way to do this sort

(01:22:24):
of thing, which I think opensup the opportunity for something as horrible as
what happened on the rust set toactually happen. If you're someone that's been
around gun safety and you know peoplewho do things correctly and legally, I
think it would never happen. Andactually even CNN had a headline out there
where Alec Baldwin broke the cardinal rulesof gun safety, which he absolutely did,

(01:22:45):
and I just demonstrated two of themfor you. You always check to
see if a gun is loaded whenit's been handed to you. And you
never, ever, in any circumstanceother than when you actually intend to defend
yourself against somebody, point your gunat a human being, no matter what
you think is in or not init. Even an empty gun doesn't get
pointed to people as a joke. Those are reasons why he's guilty of something,

(01:23:08):
and those are reasons again why.And I've seen this time and again,
and now that I've actually been withpeople who teach others how to responsibly
enjoy your right to own a gunor go to the shooting range or whatever
it is you want to do.When I watch other people experience it and
their opinion of it change the ideaof what it is, how it works,
and how people do it responsibly,it profoundly impacts anyone, even the

(01:23:31):
most anti gun people out there, when they actually witness the way things are
done right and not the way thatsay, a criminal would behave who doesn't
give a crap if a gun islegal or not if they're going to go
ahead and try to use it toharm other people. This is again one
of the biggest flaws in this conversation, but I just found it kind of
fascinating. That is, Alec Baldwinis brought into a courtroom and his defense

(01:23:51):
attorneys are going to try to defendhim for doing something he never should have
done. The biggest thing that wouldbenefit him is one of the biggest boogeyman
to the left, and that wouldbe understanding how to responsibly use a gun.
All right, I'll take a break. A lot coming up. Craig
Collins filling in on The Dana Show. Ready to grow your intellectual roltex?

(01:24:13):

to find me, mostly on Facebookis where I do anything. All right,

(01:24:35):
let's do a quick five and nowall of the news you would probably
miss. It's time for Dana's quickfive. A couple ones out there that I
thought were interesting. BMW as we'recalling over three hundred and ninety thousand vehicles
because of faulty quote exploding airbags. These are airbags that might suddenly just go
off while you're driving the car,or with no real reason to do it.

(01:24:58):
That's a concern for anyone that I'llthese BMW's so as I said,
some of the msport steering wheel equippedcars are being recalled three hundred and ninety
thousand of them because it's bad.You don't really want that. This is
mostly in two thousand and six twentyeleven three series sedans. Several different ones
out there. You can look upmore information if you need it. AI

(01:25:20):
Speech Clone is so real that makersof it say it's potentially a risk that's
too dangerous to be put out intothe world. That's great when people who
work hard an AI and then createsomething that can mimic the voice of anybody
with very little actually input, thenrealize, hey, this thing we made
is terrible, and we made itpurely for research purposes, is what they

(01:25:44):
said. But we probably shouldn't releaseit to the world because well, no
one's going to have any idea who'sreal and who's not. They call it
val E two. By the way, I'm not sure why I'm now naming
it. Hopefully it never sees thelight of day for people, but darn
it, there's probably some AI alreadyout there that basically does the same thing.
Another story I saw this was inthe New York Post. Some young

(01:26:05):
moms are turning to quote magic mushroomsto deal with the stress of parenting.
Is it safe is a question thatwas being asked. I think Fox News
is another place that reported on this. Apparently thirty thousand people follow in Instagram
account moms on Mushrooms, which istouting all the supposed benefits of taking psychedelic

(01:26:28):
substances while trying to deal with anythingand everything involving your children. Probably not
a good look. I don't remembermom back in the day when I was
a kid, having to pop insome medicinal mushrooms in order to make it
through her and she had two youngboys at one point in a single mom
raising both of us, my brotherand I were morons, but I'm glad
that you never went this road.Even if people are saying it might enhance

(01:26:49):
your emotional and mental well being andalso not enhance your understanding of reality of
what's going on around you. That'sone of several reasons I think that's a
worrisome thing. Another story out therethat I saw that I thought was kind
of funny. More and more peopleare opting to bring their dogs on their
honeymoon. This is something that youngpeople are saying is fun. I would

(01:27:12):
I love my dog, I wouldnot have wanted to bring it on my
honeymoon for a variety of reasons. But travel agents, the even hotel managers
are now promoting the idea of havinga romantic honeymoon esque week at their establishment
that is also pet friendly, andsome of the dogs and some of these
photos are dressed up having gone tothe wedding in little bow ties and whatnot.
And then I assume going to thehoneymoon, there can be too much

(01:27:38):
in a lot of worlds, andagain, I love my dog, but
there can definitely be a too much. And I would think that if the
significant other wants to take the dogwith you on the honeymoon. That might
be a too much moment. Andthen one last thing that went viral that
I thought was pretty funny. Agirlfriend was making fun of her boyfriend for
calling a potato chip brand, MissVicki's saying how much he loved the Potata

(01:28:00):
chips, hanging up the phone andthinking that he probably just talked to quote
Miss Vicky. I don't know ifit's something that people are enjoying because it's
wholesome, or also that this manmight be, you know, not all
mentally there. But apparently he washappy that he went and called and told
Miss Vicky how much he likes herpotato chips. And that's the kind of
thing that goes viral on the internet, along with dogs on honeymoons. This

(01:28:23):
is the world we live in,people. I didn't make it. I
just talk about it from time totime. Quick Break a lot more Craig
Collins filling in on The Dana Show. Craving a daily dose of intellectual adrenaline,
look no further than The Dana Showpodcast where curiosity meets courage. By

(01:28:44):

her everywhere, as you just heard, Apple, Spotify, Dana Radio,
dot Com, d lash or Danalash Radio on x and all over YouTube,
Rumble, Facebook, Direct TV channelthree forty seven. All right,
First, the Babylon b made aheck of a joke last night that went
viral. Babylon Bee, of course, a satirical place that is awesome and

(01:29:05):
makes a lot of people laugh.Having exhausted all other options, Obama invites
Biden paddle boarding. Oh man, that is dark but hilarious, and people
who don't know the reference. Ijust look Obama chef up and paddle boarding
at Martha's vineyard. Not something thatwent to well for that guy. Other
things out there. I thought thiswas interesting. Trump called in to a

(01:29:30):
Fox News show and had a conversationwith Brian Kilmead about Nicki Haley not going
to the Republican National Convention. NickiHaley, who recently released her delegates to
Trump. Something that kind of usuallyhappens anyway, whether it happens that way
or some other version of it.Delegates often pick the person who's won the
nomination by the time you get there. But nonetheless Trump was asked if he

(01:29:54):
thought it was a shame that Nickywasn't going and if he'd actually invite her,
and he was non a middle amountit up, but did say that
he feels bad for here we go. I don't know. I'm going to
take a look at her. Iwant to say. I know she gave
her delegates over. You know, there was a lot of bad blood there.
She stayed too long. She wasbeing soundly defeated at every place,

(01:30:15):
but she just wouldn't leave, andso we had to continue onward for two
extra months, which was ridiculous. And she was doing badly. She was
losing badly. But I mean hermistake was she continued on. She just
you know, keep going. Ihad that the first time too. You
know, I had a gentleman fromOhio continued on. He just wouldn't,

(01:30:39):
you know, just kept going. He wasn't getting anything, he wasn't doing
anything, he wasn't getting any votes, but he continued on. There's a
time to which you leave. Youknow. Ron DeSantis left right after Iowa.
She should have left right after Iowa. She came in third. She
didn't come in second. Ron camein second, but he left after Iowa,
because he said there was. Soyou're still a little angry that she

(01:31:00):
stayed in with so I just saythis, you know, I wish she
didn't stay so long, right,Yes, you do wish you didn't say
so long. But he said hedid feel bad for her that she's not
invited to the RNC, and he'llhe'll think about it. He'll think about
bringing her along. Of course, the big thing will be whether or not
his vice presidential pick is made inthe next couple of days. He was

(01:31:23):
even toying the Miami crowd and MarcoRubio as he was talking quite a bit
about who that vice presidential candidate canbe. Some people are thinking that Jade
Vance might be a big pick forthat, but nonetheless, one of the
other stories out there, and itdoesn't sound at all like it's gonna be
Nikki Haley. I want to playsome audio from Cincinnati from Fox nineteen,

(01:31:43):
which I imagine is on your sideor covering the news that matters most every
day, or some other cliche newsslogan. They were talking about how a
bunch of West African illegal immigrants justshowed up at a food bank in Cincinnati,
enabled to even ask for food butdefinitely wanted food, and one of
the guys who runs the food banksaid that it was incredibly hard for them

(01:32:04):
because there's a whole bunch of peoplethere that you couldn't talk to. Here's
what that sounds like. We justhad a thousand African show up in the
community, Wirtanians from West Africa findingtheir way to Cincinnati, tiling in here.
But one hundred came to our doorslast Friday and we're wiped out of
food. It was a laborious processto help. We don't know where they're

(01:32:29):
from, we don't know how tocommunicate with them, and it created quite
an issue for us. This populationis finding its way to Cincinnati from a
new route posted on TikTok and WhatsApp. An immigration loophole in Nicaragua allows relaxed
entry requirements and makes a low costvisa available for purchase without proof of onward

(01:32:50):
travel. It's crazy because it thenmaps how these individuals are traveling from Africa
to Europe, to Columbia to ElSalvador to Mexico, across the border and
then eventually to Cincinnati, Ohio.Of all places, I've heard things about
Ohio being a battleground state. Howodd that some of the decision making is
to go there. One other thingthat I saw that I thought was interesting

(01:33:12):
in just other news out there, not talking about Biden or even Trump,
but certainly talking about how important itis to have somebody in the White House
or in positions of power throughout ourcountry that care about how crazy crime has
gotten. This was an NBC Newsaffiliate in DC doing a story about a
Lulu Lemon store that had been robbed, and it gets robbed while they're there

(01:33:35):
filming their shot about the previous robbery. Here's what it sounds like when you
report on two robberies at once, assuming that you weren't going to see a
second one. When he went outto the location to talk about the first
one, we were here looking intothe earlier crime when this happened. The
video shows three women, two werewearing surgical masks, grabbing big armfuls of

(01:33:57):
clothing from the Lulu Lemon store onClon Boulevard in Arlington. They appeared to
be in no hurry. One womanstopped to pick up items falling out of
her overloaded arms. The video wastaken at seven to eleven PM. That
is only two hours after the storehad been targeted for an early or organized
theft crime. In that case, two women grabbed armloads of price the athletic

(01:34:20):
wear and walked out without paying. We're not sure if the same people or
involved in both cases. Yeah, they were wearing masks. How crazy the
masks can be used to hide youridentity, well, you commit crimes.
But the NBC team, which I'veactually often made fun of this, they
sent a crew to report on athing that had already happened somewhere and you
just stand outside that place. It'slike when you report on the weather and

(01:34:42):
you're just standing outside and you're like, the weather's bad, and we're out
here to tell you it's bad.But luckily for them, this is DC
or any other giant city that hasa bunch of crime issues, and they
got to capture another crime on filmas they're standing there trying to report on
the first one. It's a certainlevel of arrogance too, in all honesty,
for people to walk up to someplacesee a film crew from a local

(01:35:04):
news affiliate shooting something on the streetand being like, we're still doing it.
We're here. This was our plan. Time to rob blue hulemon.
We don't want to back out ofthis now and do something else for a
little bit and come back when theyleave. I will just go ahead and
do this in front of everybody, and who cares doesn't matter at all.
It's crazy. That's something that honestlyyou don't usually see in a country like

(01:35:28):
ours, but sadly you've been seeinga lot more recently. All Right,
one other piece of audio that Idid love that's out there today. This
is representative Matt Gates, and he'swalking through a very complicated discussion about critical
race theory CRT and how even thefoundational beliefs of the theory itself go against
the way in which our government,or specifically are military is teaching and utilizing

(01:35:54):
it, which is something it's adeep dive of a point. It's a
really good point to be made.Less it sort of even demonstrates that the
way in which politicians weaponize and reuseinformation doesn't even actually typically always reflect the
original thoughts of the original people.Whether or not you'd agree with them is

(01:36:15):
irrelevant, well, maybe somewhat relevant, because it's going even further into a
certain rabbit hole that you don't wantto be in. Especially in the world
of our military. But here's alittle bit of what Gates said about CRT
and the government and how crazy itis to teach this as part of any
sort of basic training or anything elsewhen the reality if you know any veterans,
if you know anyone, especially someonewho's actually fought in a conflict,

(01:36:40):
but anybody who's served our country bywillingly enlisting in our military, you know
that the things they're taught about, you know, fighting and defending us are
way more important than any of theideological things that might be a byproduct of
the world we live in right now. It's crazy. When I talk to
older veterans about some of the discussionsgoing on in the military right now,

(01:37:01):
it makes them so mad because theythink that people are going to be less
prepared for the reality of actually defendingour country. And sadly they'd know better
than I if that was true, because you're focused on the absolutely wrong things.
But here we go. I've heardmy colleagues say that we need to
learn critical race theories so as tobetter unify, and I don't think that
really reflects a reading of John o'callimoreand Belle Hooks and people who don't present

(01:37:26):
critical race theory as a unifying ideology. Critical race theory is an explicit critique
of the Civil Rights movement. Itis a critique of Martin Luther King saying
that we ought to people write inthe principal text of critical race theory that
the Civil Rights movement got it wrongbecause the Civil Rights movement sought to have
us come together as a nation andlive in one country. I gave and

(01:37:48):
just find that a little bit better. And it's one of the more fascinating
studies about any sort of protest, any sort of cause that a society or
a group of people take up,and the need to attract pepeople that are
not within your group, whatever yourcause is, but people who will support
you and see you as someone whois trying to do something good in the

(01:38:09):
world. You need advocates that arenot actually the core people that are a
part of anything in order for amovement to succeed. There's a lot of
studies on that. But what Gatesis saying is that a lot of critical
race theory thinks that the Civil rightsmovement should have been more violent, It
should have been more divisive, Itshould not have called for all men to
be created equal and looked at equally. And you know, the I have

(01:38:30):
a dream speech is flaw was pretendingthat someday, in some future, everyone
would be thought of as the same. No, no, no, it's
very much about tearing down a systemand blaming certain people, say white guys,
mostly for all the problems of oursociety. I find that very interesting
for Gates to point that out alittle bit more from how he ties it
into the military issues. So thisis a separatist ideology, and I want

(01:38:55):
to make clear we're not trying tolimit people's under reading or understanding of things.
Do that on your own time, but when it comes to the United
States military, we should not beteaching people that immutable traits like their race
define their destiny. Critical amen tothat last thing he said. And by
the way, you know, oneof my other favorite things about hanging out

(01:39:15):
with veterans, something I've done alot more over the last couple of years
as I've worked with some veteran organizationsthrough some of the radio stuff I've done,
is how anything is on the tableas far as a joke goes.
This can be a joke between awhite guy and a black guy. This
can be a joke between a manand a woman anybody. If you're military
and you joke about certain things, someone who's woke, someone who's far left

(01:39:38):
would sit at a table and beso upset that everybody seems to be having
a good time and laughing. ButI've asked a bunch of military about that,
especially you know, older generations, about why that's such a powerful way
to unify people and not to separatepeople. And what I hear from everyone
anyone, it doesn't matter what theylook like, who they are, what

(01:39:59):
they say is by joking about allthat stuff, we throw it into the
back of our brains. We makeall of this unimportant issues and unimportant things,
and we actually do come together andrealize that the purpose of what we're
doing is fighting an enemy and defendingour country and not trying to think of
each other as potentially a bad guyin some way, shape or form.
That's one of the most powerful thingsthe military does is it teaches individuals who

(01:40:25):
serve in it what is and isn'tactually important in our society and what is
and is not worth say, fightingfor or dying for. And it's crazy
to think about that and think aboutthe ways in which some of these things
are discussed now by young people whoI'd be terrified if they were ever drafted
and forced to defend our country.I'm proud of those who willingly serve,

(01:40:46):
and I've met a lot of youngpeople that impress the hell out of me
as far as the people that Imeet that are part of our military.
But there's a whole lot of otherpeople who would be concerned about all the
wrong things. And I think that'sthe point. Gates is very well making
and talking about how CRT has noplace in our military and in military training.
All Right, I'll take one break, one last break, A little
bit more coming up after this.Creig Collins filling in on The Dana Show.

(01:41:10):
Looking for the drive through version ofThe Dana Show. Check out the
best highlights from every show and Dana'sAbsurd Truth podcast, hosted daily from The
Dana Show. That's right, thisis the Dana Show. My name is
Craig Collins, filling in Danaradio dotcom for her Chapter and Verse newsletter All
Things Dana. Also d Lash orDana Lash Radio on Twitter, on x
all the places you can find her. I'm Radio Craig. See if you

(01:41:32):
want to find me somewhere. I'dbe honored for people that listen to Dana
to follow me. Let's do somefeel good stuff, some other things I
saw out there, and then eventuallywe'll get to our today in stupidity moment
toward the end of this, awoman saved a man's life at a rolling
Stone concert. The dude's seventy eightyears old. His name is Tony.
He's trying to find her. He'dlike to find the woman that saved his

(01:41:54):
life. Kind of fittingly, orsort of as an awesome side note start
me Up was playing at she broughthim back to life. Here's a little
bit of Tony talking about his questto find the woman who kept him alive
at a rolling Stone concert. Islumped back in my seat and my eyes
rolled back, as I've been told, and I was actually foaming at the
mouth. My wife started saying, help, help, and then she helped.

(01:42:18):
I'm boy, did she help.Within split seconds, a woman two
rows over noticed that I was introuble and began administering CPR on me immediately.
I think I give her a bighug, Yeah, a very big
hug, and I think she deservesa big hug. I also wonder how

(01:42:38):
many people just thought it was agimmicker jokes and start me up with playing
as this woman was doing CPR andbringing a guy back to life. But
nonetheless she saved him. Tony's lookingfor He's in Massachusetts. He's hoping to
find her. I hope he findsher too. That's incredible human beings being
nice to other human beings. Ithappens every day. We don't talk about
it all the time. One otherthing out there that I saw is just

(01:42:58):
a quick story the end of anera. People are calling it a Target,
one of many places announcing that theywill no longer take personal checks.
That's something that they're going to doaway with in the very near future.
I don't know many people who paywith a personal check anywhere they go anymore,
but I'm sure it still happens occasionally, and that money's no good here
anymore. One in five people oversixty six say that they've written a check

(01:43:23):
or several checks each month. Idon't know how many of those people are
actually writing checks that say places likeTarget, but nonetheless, people are going
to stop doing it. The reasonwhy, according to the store, is
not that it's you know, badfor them somehow, But there's just an
extremely low volume of this happening anyway. So too bad, so sad,
not going to happen any longer.I've never in my life, but I'm

(01:43:45):
millennial. I've written a check ata grocery store, any sort of you
know, box store for anything.I've paid all different kinds of other ways,
cash, credit card, my cellphone. I would have you a
never check. So that's probably partof the reason why. All right,
let's get to it. Let's dotoday in stupidity. All right, we're
here. Uh, there's so manyDemocrats that she was from today just like

(01:44:06):
going crazy trying to figure out whatthey're saying. But I think I found
one of my favorites, Debbie Dingle. I think she's at a Michigan I'm
not sure what stay, but here'sher a logical thing of what her why
she came up with the way shedid. So you just want to ask
you again if you think President Bidenis the strongest person at the top of
the ticket to win Michigan in thefall. He's the candidate right now,

(01:44:27):
And these are do you beat yourwife kind of questions? You know,
who is this song. Everybody saidHillary Clayton is the strongest candidate. She's
going to win. And I toldyou all two fifteen, two sixteen,
Donald Trump was going to win.I love Hillary, but she wasn't the
strongest candidate. What we got agood do is go out and talk the
issues, and we got to makesure we talk about with Joe Biden's accomplished,
what the vision is, what Democratsstand for? That what I mean,

(01:44:53):
I do clearly clearly saying oh yeah, so I loved it. At
the end of that, she's evenrambling like what I mean anyway, whatever
you're talking about. But he's thecandidate, and these are, wow,
do you beat your wife style ofquestions. I don't think there are anything
like that at all. Debbie Dingle, I do like that. Our last
name is Dingle though. Something aboutthat makes me very happy too. And

(01:45:13):
yes, the twelfth Congressional District ofMichigan is where that Democrat comes from.
Good luck to Democrats. I don'tmean that for real. But when these
are the people that are defending Bidenas a pick, and these are the
ways that they're defending him, now, dare you ask me that totally rational
and valuable question. That's horrible andyou need to go away and know go

(01:45:33):
away now. It definitely is stupid. All right, this is the Dana
Show. My name is Craig Collins, filling in. See you guys some
other time.
