Speaker 1 (00:00):
Dana Lashes of surd Truth podcast sponsored by Keltech.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
It's his life mission to make bad decisions. It's time
for Florida man.
Speaker 1 (00:14):
Okay, this one I got to add in here. This
is I don't think I have this one on. A
Coconut Creek man confronts his son with a machete and
guess what for the reason?
Speaker 3 (00:23):
Guess the reason?
Speaker 1 (00:24):
I mean, I think i'd be a stads somebody forgot
my birthday, but I wouldn't threaten them with a machete.
That's what this man did though, That's why he was arrested.
Coconut Creekman, Florida man charged with assault with the deadly weapon.
He threatened his son with a machete forgetting to wish.
Speaker 3 (00:37):
Him happy birthday. He forgot.
Speaker 1 (00:40):
It was on October nineteenth that the Coconut Creek Police
Department responded to a domestic disturbance with a deadly weapon call.
According to the records, a family matter escalated into a confrontation.
Laurent Witters fifty six and his son became He became
a rate after his son did not wish him a
happy birthday. The victim told officers that the disagreement started
(01:01):
in the living room.
Speaker 3 (01:01):
It got worse when Widders.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
Demanded that he leave the house, and he refused, so
he began packing up his son's belongings, and while doing so,
he retrieved a machete and confronted his son. The sun
was upset, and he came towards to his son with
the machete and placed it down and finally kept moving
his belongings. But of course he had pushed his son
in the chest and apparently, I guess threatened to chop him.
I don't know, and that's when they so they arrested him.
(01:25):
They said they recovered the machete. The victim was uninjured.
He said he didn't wish to pursue charges. That's all sad,
though the whole story is sad, isn't it.
Speaker 3 (01:35):
This?
Speaker 1 (01:37):
Oh gosh, a man driving his Florida man stole a truck,
led troopers on pursuit, and then tried to hop into
a drainage canal in Naples.
Speaker 3 (01:46):
You know what's in drainage canals? At rhymes with gator? Yeah,
do you know that's not how rhymes work. That's the point.
Speaker 1 (01:57):
Thirty six year old David Alfonso, he was driving to
stolen it for two fifty and he was taken pursuit.
He was being pursued by police. He took it out
of Collier County, UH, and the trippers tried to pull
him over. He kept driving a high rate of speed.
Then he stopped the vehicle, fled on foot, and tried
to hide in a drainage canal. He was arrested on
a bunch of different charges. Because you can't get away,
(02:17):
You're not. That's not gonna work for you. It's not
going to work for you.
Speaker 3 (02:20):
Not gonna happen.
Speaker 1 (02:21):
Uh, this let's see a handcuff in mate escaped custody
at a Florida hospital and of all the cars to
flee in, he left in a Masarati. Theoderic Collins, thirty six,
was apprehended at Port Miami on October nineteenth. He had
several warrants. He had earlier complained of chest pain, was
(02:42):
transported to the emergency room, then he was medically cleared.
He managed to escape the officer and jumped into a
waiting silver Maserati. According to Miami Dade, and had Bama
plates and they apparently he's still on the run. The
dude is on the run.
Speaker 3 (02:58):
The plates are GBT eight six too.
Speaker 1 (03:01):
I don't think they're going to ditch that maserati to you. Yeah,
bulllo silver maserati with Bamma plates. The dig was arrested
in the Mississippi for shoplifting flee belize that directly striving
numerous high speed chases before.
Speaker 3 (03:14):
So that's uh, yeah, there you go.
Speaker 4 (03:19):
Hi. I'm Lillian, an English major at Hillsdale College. Here's
Hillsdale President, doctor Larry Arne with a Constitution minute.
Speaker 5 (03:28):
America's founders believed in a separation of church and state,
in that the country was not to have an official
religion or an official sect, but that did not mean
that government was to be hostile to religion or even
indifferent to religion, as many today argue. In fact, America's
founding document, the dec Price of Independence, includes both a
reference to God as the author of the laws of
(03:49):
nature and a confident assertion that human beings are endowed
by their creator with certain inalienable rights. Far from being
hostile or indifferent to religion, America's founders understood the theology
of the Declaration to be an essential part of the
education of citizens.
Speaker 4 (04:06):

Speaker 1 (04:11):
This Constitution Minute was furnished by Hillsdale College. Welcome back
to the program, Dana last year with you at the
bottom of this first hour. You know it's crazy because
everything out of its crazy season. We're in the we're
approaching the home stretch of the election, and you know
(04:34):
it's rough because you've got all of these all the left.
All I'm hearing is Hitler, Hiller, Hiller. They're like seagulls,
but like bad ones that only say Hitler. You know mine, Hitler.
It's just all I hear audio sound bite eleven. So
Trump is having his rally in Madison Square Garden and
(04:55):
Hillary Clinton, who has been salty ever since the country
rejected her in twenty sixteen. And I'll have you remember
the left said it was because of racism. That's why
she lost. The old white woman lost because of racism
in twenty sixteen. Sure, and she says that the rally
(05:18):
that Trump is going to hold is oh Hitler, Yeah, eleven,
Go ahead.
Speaker 6 (05:23):
And you know one other thing that you'll see next week, Caitlin,
is Trump actually re enacting the Madison Square Garden rally
in nineteen thirty nine. I write about this in my book.
President Franklin Roosevelt was appalled that neo Nazis fascists in
(05:45):
America were lining up to essentially pledge their support for
the kind of government that they were seeing in Germany.
So I don't think we can ignore it.
Speaker 3 (05:58):
Wait a minute, I'm curious.
Speaker 1 (06:01):
So she's accusing him he's having this thing next week,
she's accusing him of reenacting it. I had to go back,
and I mean this was like back in the oldie times,
the olden days when this happened. I had to go
back and look and at like the photos from the period,
(06:22):
and I mean there was it was the uh Bund
organization that had a rally and.
Speaker 3 (06:29):
It like went off the rails.
Speaker 1 (06:32):
And I mean they actually had like like Nazi imagery
and signs and stuff like that.
Speaker 3 (06:38):
I mean the photos that I'm seeing.
Speaker 1 (06:41):
Where does she get the idea that this is somehow
a reenactment because it's people with whom she disagrees that
are going to be in one place that back in
Check's Notes nineteen twenty five, it was an indoor area
(07:02):
in New York City. It was there and built a
nineteen twenty five Clothes and MSG the third that I'm
just curious the she thinks that, why is it a reenactment?
Are they going to be doing like Nazi stuff? I mean,
when you say something it's a reenactment. I'm just assuming
that that's what it'll be, but I you know, that's
(07:24):
not what actually is happening. She just because people disagree
with her, they're Hitler, and because they're getting in one
a bunch of people who disagree with her are going
to be in one place specifically, then it's a Nazi rally?
Is that I got that correct? So wait a minute,
is it.
Speaker 3 (07:43):
I know, just let me clarify.
Speaker 1 (07:45):
Is it because they're going to be at Madison Square
Garden that makes it a Nazi rally? Or is it
because there are people who disagree with her on things
like healthcare and taxation and you know, international relations and
things of that nature, that those people that disagree with
her and their issues are going to be at Madison
(08:06):
Square Garden. And I asked that because like there's a
lot of stuff at Madison Square Gardener or all these
people Hitler.
Speaker 3 (08:13):
Cyndi Lauper is going to be there.
Speaker 1 (08:17):
Or she was wait, she was there last night, right, Yeah,
Cindi Lauper was there last night her farewell tour.
Speaker 3 (08:23):
Was that a Nazi event? I'm just curious.
Speaker 1 (08:25):
I mean, Duran, Duran is going to be there on
the thirty first for crying out loud?
Speaker 3 (08:33):
Is that? Uh?
Speaker 1 (08:34):
I'm curious. Is that a Hitler thing? Or is it
just this is so dumb. It's like there's Hitler drink water?
Do you drink water?
Speaker 3 (08:42):
Nazi? Hitler breathed air? Do you drink air? Nazi? Oh?
Speaker 1 (08:49):
Everyone who wears shoes is a Nazi? Yeah, this is
just so dumb, or is it? Well, they disagree with
me and they're and they're Hitler. Well, and none of
these reporters and Caitlyn Collins just sat there like a
you know, frog and a log, just go and just
(09:10):
staring at the camera. At no point did she go,
I'm sorry, uh, missus Clinton, But what.
Speaker 3 (09:16):
Exactly makes it a Nazi rally?
Speaker 1 (09:21):
She did not ask that at any point that would
That's the most obvious question to ask, But she didn't
ask it. She just sat there or oh, just well,
why not fu Well, excuse me? It is Clinton, What
in fact makes it a Nazi rally? I'm curious? Is
it because they disagree. What what about it? Are you
(09:41):
saying that they hate Jewish people? Are they advocating for genocide?
What makes it a Nazi rally?
Speaker 3 (09:49):
Specifically? Can you can you articulate that?
Speaker 1 (09:52):
I think it's incredibly important in an era where the
guy about whom you're speaking, there have been two attempts
on his life. It'd be nice to maybe he was
literally shot in the head. So I don't know, maybe
you could substantiate your hitler claims. Please ma'am, see that's
(10:13):
a reasonable request. And if she's not just you know,
a blowhard, then she'll be like, well, you know, when
they're calling for genocide and talking about putting people on railroads,
I mean, you know that's exactly what you know? She
couldn't say anything. No one asks this, what do you
mean you reenact something? What does that even mean?
Speaker 3 (10:31):
Reenact? How what?
Speaker 1 (10:34):
They just say this stuff? Who out there believes this?
If anybody out there believes this, they should not vote.
I am so done with stupid people. People are dumb.
I love what Tommy Lee Jones said him in a
black A person is smart. People are sheep. Oh my gosh,
that's like scripture. It's so true. And what way, who's
caught by this, and then yeah, you have the view.
(10:57):
They're still they're still mad. The Washington Post is mad.
By the way, my friend Stephen Miller, not that Miller
with the camp, but another person had said he made
this remark and was talking about this this morning, that
the media and everyone else, if they do think that
Trump is Hitler, many of them are still not in
toursing Kamala Harris over him.
Speaker 3 (11:21):
To throw that out there, but it's not.
Speaker 1 (11:24):
You also have Mitch Landro, whose wife was the governor
of Louisiana and was in charge when Hurricane Katrina came
in and there was just disastrous response, and do you
remember everybody was working over time to make sure that
Mary Landro did not get the blame for failing to
call in the National Guard and all that stuff.
Speaker 3 (11:41):
They were trying to blame w for it.
Speaker 1 (11:42):
I mean, there's a lot of things to get if
you want to pick a bone with w I mean,
there's plenty of stuff, but that's not one of them.
Audio somebody fourteen Listen.
Speaker 7 (11:51):
Kinley, You've never had in the history of the country
a president want to be like Adolf Hitler. I mean,
that's just such an extraordinary state that have come from
now a number of people that it should cause everybody
in America to stop and think about how devastatingly impossible
that is to contemplate have somebody like that sitting behind
the Oval office.
Speaker 1 (12:11):
The third part, he wants to be like Hitler because
he's not a Democrat. Well, you know, because he disagrees
with us on economic policy and taxation and government spending,
and he disagrees with us on trade, and he disagrees
with us on regulation for some things. And I mean,
just like Hitler, I am just done.
Speaker 3 (12:41):
I'm done.
Speaker 1 (12:41):
We're gonna have another week of us, another week of Hitler,
of Trump Hitler, Yeah, you never had.
Speaker 3 (12:50):
The history of the country is someone who wanted to
be like Hitler?
Speaker 1 (12:53):
Do you guys want him to die? I feel like
they want him to get shot again? Think about it there,
if something it goes back of that question, like if
there was a baby Hitler, would you kill him? Like
if you went back in time and saw a little
baby Hitler and his crib, would you kill him?
Speaker 3 (13:06):
Right? Wow?
Speaker 1 (13:10):
I mean, I you talk and you demean someone like that,
and you dehumanize them to the point where you can
justify anything done against them, then it's not beyond the
realm of extraordinary that someone would try to kill him.
(13:33):
If they think Gotti, this guy's as bad as Hitler.
Go back to when what's his face? That lunchbox went
and tried to shoot up a congressional ball field, And
do you remember what they found in his vehicle when
they secured the area and they had evacuated law enforcement.
You were the congressional members and law enforcement was there
on side, and do you remember what they found in
(13:53):
his vehicle. He had a manifesto of sorts, but he
also hated to kill us, and it was all Republican members,
and he was livid about health care. And that was
about the time that the left was promoting this idea
that Republicans wanted to kill everyone's parents, and they were
going to kill you because they were going to take
your health care away and leave you to die and
(14:14):
bleed out in a ditch. I mean, that's, you know,
pretty much what they were messaging. I don't believe that
you a speech hurts, but I do believe that you
have a responsibility it, particularly if you are an elected official.
I think you have a responsibility in that public sphere.
To be a little bit more cautious. I mean, we
(14:37):
have people out there who are pretending that, you know,
a man can be a woman, or that abortion doesn't
involve murder, doesn't involve the endeed of a life. So
they can twist all kinds of definitions around and make
it appear however they want. And so, of course, yes,
this person is just like Hitler, So of course you
can justify the atrocity committed against them, and that ultimately
(14:57):
is what this is. I mean, I don't know how
else to analyze it. I mean, that's I don't know.
And then you have this audio somebody twenty eight. When
they're not calling them Hitler, they're insulting the people that
are giving the Trump Vance ticket.
Speaker 3 (15:16):
Their momentum.
Speaker 1 (15:18):
Racism is alive and well, and here's an example of
it audio sound bite twenty eight.
Speaker 8 (15:24):
But the sharpest divide in our politics today is education.
It's whether you have a college degree or not that
is the likeliest determined of whether you're going to vote
Republican or Democratic. And that's why we're seeing larger numbers
and I met some of them in Western Pennsylvania of
Latinos and black voters who are moving towards.
Speaker 3 (15:45):
Trump so white.
Speaker 1 (15:47):
George Packer asserts that black and Hispanic voters are shifting
towards Trump because they're stupid.
Speaker 3 (15:56):
You heard him say it with his own mouth.
Speaker 1 (15:57):
He's the guy who writes at The Atlantic saying that
they are dumb, they're uneducated, which is why they support Trump. Well,
there's a great there's an ad right there. What a
great get out the vote effort to try to shame
people when all else fails. Actually, they haven't even tried
(16:18):
all else. They've just said, ben the knee. They haven't
even tried to make their case. They haven't tried to
go out and court voters. They've tried to shame people
and emotionally manipulate voters, but they haven't gone out to
try to court them. And when people rebuff their initial advances, Oh,
it's because you are the problem. You are uneducated. I
(16:44):
that's racism. That guy's a racist. That's no joke, no
cap he's a racist. Our friend's over at Celtech the
P fifteen. If you haven't gotten a Celtech, if you
haven't gotten the P fifteen, you really need to. It
is the lightest theinist, literally the lightest thnist double Stack

Speaker 3 (17:51):

Speaker 1 (17:52):

that Dana sent.
Speaker 2 (17:56):
You and now all of the news you would probably miss.
It's I'm for Dana's Quick five.
Speaker 1 (18:01):
I was making the joke on break. I'm sitting here
looking at news stuff. You know, we're all like dealing
with the election and drop like screaming and flailing. And
Getty Lee's gonna release a seventy two stories book about
his baseball memorabilia collection. Yes, the Getty Lee from Rush.
Speaker 3 (18:17):
He's it's coming out in May. He's got I didn't
even know this.
Speaker 1 (18:20):
He's he's, he's it's a book about his baseball memorabilia auction,
the collection of stories and some of the favorite items
in my collection.
Speaker 3 (18:28):
He goes, maybe I'll release it on opening day next year.
I don't know. He's just over here doing.
Speaker 1 (18:33):
Getty Lee stuff, Getty Lee being Getty Lee. Uh uh
this uh, this is crazy. A pregnant woman fell seventeen
stories in an apartment building and her unborn baby surf vibed.
Speaker 3 (18:46):
This was wild. Uh the it was.
Speaker 1 (18:49):
This happened in England and she's just come to her injuries.
But her baby was I mean delivered and okay. According
to the BBC, she was in a the Shakespeare Towers,
not Faulty Towers, seventeen story building in West Yorkshire and
seventeen feet and the baby is gonna be Okay, that's
just it's wild, So thank thank heavens for that. Mount
(19:12):
Everest gets a little taller every year because it's sitting
up straight. I just wanted to let that sit there.
See you guys did. No, Apparently that's an actual thing.
They said that tiny changes in elevation add up over
a millennia, and as a result, its highest peak gets
a little bitty bit taller every single year, which I
(19:32):
don't even know how all that works, but okay, sure
you know that.
Speaker 3 (19:35):
I'll take that.
Speaker 1 (19:36):
Yeah, this can You're gonna like this headline because it's
all about the bird flu stuff. Officials find no evidence
that bird flu is spreading between people after a Missouri investigation.
Health health officials said yesterday that there's no evidence that
bird flu is spread bird flu is spreading between people
(19:58):
after they were investigating. In fact in Missouri, the Onness
Reporter last month was different from the other thirty bird
flu infections in people so far this year. They said
there's no evidence for any kind of person to person transmission.
The age five and one. It has been spreading wildly,
but it's not doing that, so stop it. Knock it off.
So they said, a uh turd shape monument honoring the
(20:19):
January sixth mob was installed on the National Mall. It's
a sarcastic statue and apparently it features a bronze shaped
pile of feces resting a top of desk with Nancy
Pelosi's name on the name plate there. And they said
that the memorial honors the brave men and women who
broke into the buildings. It's like supposed to be like
some sort of satirical thing. It's watched by a security guard.
(20:41):
It's going to stay there for seven days. Please tell
me that no one actually crafted it out of bronze.
Really stick with us, We've got more in store. Nieman
Marcus has changed the name of its Christmas.
Speaker 3 (20:52):
Book gift catalog to Holiday Book.
Speaker 1 (20:57):
Christmas.
Speaker 3 (20:57):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 1 (20:59):
I don't know if I read with the headline that
Daily Mail has that Neman Marcus bans the word. But
they did just change the name of their gift catalog.
They said they're there, they've they've talked about their Christmas
book before.
Speaker 3 (21:14):
The Christmas Book.
Speaker 1 (21:14):
At Nemens is what you look at, uh, when you
like to pretend that you're a billionaire, because some of
the stuff in there is insane. I'm gonna look I'm
gonna look at because yeah they call it, yeah that
it's a They didn't ban it, but they did change it.
They removed Christmas and they made it holiday.
Speaker 3 (21:35):
Now.
Speaker 1 (21:39):
I don't know what to make of this. I mean,
I don't think it's because they hate Jesus. Maybe they
feel like they've got to be I don't know more.
Do you honestly think that Jewish people are gonna be
like op, I can't buy from that catalog it says
Christmas book.
Speaker 3 (21:56):
Do you honestly think that? I don't.
Speaker 1 (21:57):
I don't understand why. I also feel like we're no
does it matter because everybody's too broke. Everybody is too
broke to even care about what is If it's a
what kind of gift book it is?
Speaker 3 (22:11):
Right? You think people can they can't. I can't afford
anything in here. Did you see some of this stuff
in here?
Speaker 1 (22:16):
Usually it'll be like, here's a five hundred dollar like
frother or something stupid. Right, here's a fifty thousand dollars
refrigerator that'll sing the song to you every morning and tweet.
Speaker 3 (22:29):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (22:30):
It's like goofy stuff like that in there, and I
got this headline for Cain, specifically, Cain, dost thou like
oat milk?
Speaker 2 (22:40):
Oat milk?
Speaker 3 (22:41):
No, do you think oat milk is good or bad?
Speaker 2 (22:45):
I would say you can do without it.
Speaker 1 (22:48):
There's this meme where God is or it's Jesus, and
Jesus is asking one of the angels what are they
doing down there? And the angel goes, oh, they're getting
milk from nuts. And he's like, but I gave them
all these animals. He's like, yeah, they don't like any
of that milk. He's going, here's the headline, oat milk
(23:10):
link to another cancer causing chemical as people flock back
to dairy, Oh my lord, yeah, oak milks say that fast.
The health halo, whoever wrote this, I hate you, is
rapidly disappearing. They said that there are emulsifiers in plant
based milks with that's not milk, it's cloudy water with
(23:34):
research links to cancer and the who if take her
to leave it? They say it's carcinogenic and a lot
of it's chemical stuff that they spray on it, like
weed killer, glyphosphate.
Speaker 3 (23:49):
In that whatever.
Speaker 1 (23:52):
There's no such thing as almond milk or oat milk
or any plant based milk. It's cloudy water. You're getting
cloudy water, dirty cloudy water. It's like when a man
pretends he's a woman and wants to secrete milk. That's
not what that is. Okay, same thing. That's what you're getting.
You're getting nature's pus.
Speaker 3 (24:11):
That's what this is. Die already, Yeah, you know what.
I'm driving it home. Oat milk is of the devil?
Can we novel?
Speaker 1 (24:23):
I get really excited about dairy items. I don't know why,
but they're like, it's bad, Like it's not milk.
Speaker 3 (24:29):
Just be like to I don't want dairy.
Speaker 1 (24:32):
And if you don't want dairy because it's a health
issue for you, nobody cares.
Speaker 3 (24:35):
You don't have to. Why is it that people who
get they're like, I'm not getting dairy in my coffee.
I don't get these people. I don't get it.
Speaker 2 (24:42):
The majority of dairy now, if you look in the ingredients,
you look at like if you like half and half
or heavy cream or whatever you like to add that
to your coffee. Polysorbate eighty is a big part of that.
For the majority of the brands that are out there
for sale, especially the ones that are a little cheaper
and it's not good for you. So you may want
to consider whole milk. You may want to consider something
that hasn't been fully pasteurized. You want to make sure
(25:05):
that your body's getting the right back, or.
Speaker 1 (25:06):
You just get a cow and go out to the
field and lay under there of a morning.
Speaker 3 (25:12):
I'm just saying, probably not.
Speaker 2 (25:13):
The best that last part of the idea.
Speaker 3 (25:16):
Take your coffee coup, go out there.
Speaker 2 (25:21):
And get on see. I would be for that.
Speaker 1 (25:24):
I'd be right fresh from the team an I mean
nature's milk actually literally is just saying milk.
Speaker 3 (25:34):
It's not dirty dirty water, white water. That's all that is.
Speaker 1 (25:38):
People know that, right, It's just dirty nutwater to crust.
It's Friday Indulgement.
Speaker 6 (25:48):
