Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum

Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum

I’m Michael Rosenbaum, I’ve spent the better part of the last two decades in and out of film and television - mostly known for playing the bald dude on the show Smallville. I’m the guy that you probably don’t know by name, but when you see my face you might say “oh, that guy from that thing.” I’ve befriended some of the most talented people in the business, but it wasn’t until I started inviting them into my home that I realized, I didn’t really know these people. What started as me having some fun, quickly evolved into something I’ve fallen in love with. What I’ve discovered is that all these people aren’t that different from you and me. They have the same insecurities and flaws that we all deal with every day. In a dark, yet enlightening way... I find a lot of comfort in that. I invite you all to join me while I get inside each of these fascinating people.

Aimee Garcia (Lucifer, Dexter, The Walking Dead: Dead City) is back for the first time since 2019 and she is exactly the burst of joy I remembered, right up until she tells me she died at four years old and has been living on borrowed time ever since. Aimee gets into her dad's disastrous debut as a walker on Dead City, the .0001% chance Jerry Bruckheimer's team gave Lucifer of coming back before the fans resurrected it, and the day...

Jon Lovitz (Saturday Night Live, A League of Their Own, The Wedding Singer) joins me this week for a conversation that keeps flipping between hilarious and genuinely heavy. Jon busts my chops for a solid hour, then opens up about losing Phil Hartman and still thinking about him every day 28 years later, the last phone call with his mom before she passed at 97, and everything he tried to do to pull Chris Farley back. We also get int...

Tara Strong (Harley Quinn, Teen Titans, The Powerpuff Girls, The Fairly OddParents) joins us this week for a conversation that goes a lot deeper than cartoons. We also get into the heartbreak of being recast on shows ...

Michael Jai White (Spawn, Black Dynamite, The Dark Knight) joins me this week for the longest conversation I have ever had on this show, and I did not want it to end. Michael opens up about growing up in Brooklyn and Bridgeport where violence was right outside the doorstep, being on his own since 14, and the lunch with a friend who served 30 years in prison that made him realize how close he came. We get into where his anger really...

James B. Jones and Shelley Wolfe (Love on the Spectrum) join me this week and I fell for these two the same way everybody else has, fast. What surprised me was how much this conversation goes beneath the show. We talk about what filming is really like, five or six hours of cameras for a few minutes of footage, and how the version people see is only one side of them. Shelley opens up about the comments that hurt, the people who assu...

Jason Priestley (Beverly Hills 90210, Private Eyes) joins me this week for one I have wanted to do for years, and it goes to some heavy places.
