Valentine in the Morning presents the showfor the show, Valentine over Time.
Valentine Overtime kind of gets me excitedabout Tuesdays. There wasn't really much into
Tuesday that got me excited. I'ma big hump day guy, love a
Friday, but Tuesdays, I don'tknow. The podcast is bringing it up

(00:25):
on the scale. Here, okay, welcome back to another episode. We
got the full fam here, Valentinethe big guy. He's literally said nothing
for the past thirty seconds. Whenyou really break down the old Tuesday and
I didn't have much about Tuesday andthis and that and stuff. Yeah,
but now here comes here comes togood stuff, right, got good stuff.
I'm trying to introduce our show.Here. We got Brian here,
the names very important, Jill Escodo, Hello, Laura Aaron. We got

(00:48):
Michael Pullman on teams, who wefound out is in Connecticut. And then
of course myself Sean. A coupleof things I wanted to touch on today.
First thing is we gave away ourfirst four pack of tickets to the
Second Chance Prompt Day, which isn'ta better I'm super excited about and I
wanted to know if you guys, fully intend on doing a prom posal for
whoever you're going to bring with youin your party. Yes, commitment from

(01:10):
Jill. Yeah, and I tomy idea. But I don't want to
say because he listens to the podcast. No, that's fair, Valentine.
Will you be asking Leilani? Yeah, I'll ask her, but the hell
all out, I'm gonna go.It's a lot of work, dude,
it's a lot of Yeah. Imean, so's gonna be like flying a
balloon over somebody's house here. Okay, But how exciting is it that you
actually get to ask your wife toprom Well, I know she's gonna say
yes. That's not the point.I'm not as invested in the prom posal

(01:34):
part as I am. The promprom is a great idea. I love
it, And the problem is youridea. Yeah it is. Yeah,
I'm not as invested my personal selfin a promposal. You got to be
captain prom on this. I think, what if we help you? What
if we help you that idea? You got to do the work though,
Yeah, yeah, I'll do itall right. Yeah, how's the paper
plane? It's going? Well?It made This is my prom posing a

(01:57):
fly at paper plan paper airplane intoour bedroom and see if she reads it.
Oh cute, it's cute, right, terrible Watch under the Dogs,
Yeah that's not bad. Yeah Ilike that, right, that's really cute.
Ties of dogs tied to the kids. And this idea is to film
these proposals. Yeah, yeah, like you see all the kids do on
like you know, social media. But the problem is is like some go

(02:21):
way over the top. We don'thave that budget. You don't got to
do that. It's the same aslike wedding proposals, like it just make
it mean something. Do you knowwhat my wedding proposal was? Tell me?
Okay, the first one, becauseremember she broke up with me.
First one was by the beach inConnecticut, down by the shore on a
winter's day. We got out ofthe car. We're walking down this beautiful

(02:44):
spot. The waves are just rippingright in and the wind is howling,
but it's a gorgeous winter's day andwe're standing there and she turns around to
get back in the car and startsto walk away from me, and I
go wait because I was already downon one knee with the ring out.
She's oh, oh, so sorry. She comes back, She says yes.

(03:04):
She goes, can we get backin the car now. Then we
get back in the car, andthen life goes on, and for whatever
reason we broke up, her fault, whatever reason we broke up, and
time goes why, and we're apart, and I knew I wanted to marry
her, and she finally came aroundrealized she wanted to marry me. So
the second proposal is at a steakhousein North Dallas, and I was about

(03:25):
to propose, and then I hearfrom across the way, Oh, some
other couple got engaged. Two tablesover stole my thunder and everyone's going nuts
and campaign pop. And I hadto though because I was I was flying
out of town. I was intown for this, you know. And

(03:45):
so she got up to go tothe bathroom and I put it under her
napkin on the table. Was itin the box or was it just the
box? Came back from the bathroom, she picked up the napkin. It's
like, oh my gosh, Iwe you know, we got engaged right
then and there. And then Matreand all the other waiters like really another
one, Okay, hey, happyI'm engagement every day? We heard you

(04:10):
got engaged, and I hope thisgirlfriend's away olive garden. Yes, it
was great at steakhouse. I'm notgood at those big moments. That's still
cute. Well, you should recreatethat, even if it's just at home.
Oh, I like this. Recreatethat with even like a little you
know, car that just says promwith a question mark under her napkin.
When you guys are check yes orno. So as she said yeah,
say tonight, I'm the first oneto do it, she checks no.

(04:34):
She might not remember that part.Actually, really yeah, I don't know
if she would. Certain things youremember after twenty six years. Certain things
you don't remember the twenty six years, you know, Like I'm lousy remembering
some stuff like that, like ourfirst date. I know that it was
at a place named Kathleen's. Thatwas our first kiss in the radio station
parking lot O cute Ryan, youcanna ask Kyla? Yeah, I guess.

(04:59):
I mean I don't know what Iguess. I don't know what a
promposal is. If I'm being perfectlyhonest, guys, like it's just a
song or a it can be whateveryou want, like a big sign prom
with me, you know, andyou social you go to Albertsons, You
go to your whatever local grocery storeis near you. There may be a
dollar. You get this big posterpaper and you say, will you go
to prom with me? Okay,it's just asking her to problem. Yeah,

(05:21):
okay, I need a band.I need a band. I need
a marching band. Okay, canI hire a marching band that that's coming
out of your wallet? There?Oh, but just for publicity's sake,
or maybe a choir, a localschool acchoir, somebody like that. What
song would you have him sing? It's so hot, dou sick goodbye?

(05:45):
I just like that song breaking upto man's song. Yeah, I found
some other girl when asked a problem, Michael, you're not a You're not
flying out for this, are you? Or could you? Sadly, I
will not be joining you for thisone. It's all coming out of your
wallet. John, I know Laura'sgot a date. Aaron, you haven't
dating into the second chance prom time? Baby? Uh no, no,
I'd hire one for you. Hired. Oh wait a minute, sorry,

(06:10):
I was hiring the band. Youknow. I might go just chilling the
back with a cup of punch andwait for it to be over. Would
you bring someone with you if Ihad somebody? Sure, even like a
homie though that's kind of lame.A lot of kids actually, like my
kid has done that too, thedances you go at your homies now versus

(06:30):
going with the kids. Then there'sno press to try and find that prom
date try and like you know, would make it more than what it is
for the kids. That's great now. Obviously I'm bringing my wife's my prom
date. Uh, and we allgot prom dates and stuff. But yeah,
there's no pressure that respect. Well, I'll think about it if scheduling
works out and my friends are available. Are you dating right now? Is

(06:51):
that too personal of a question,No, it's not at all. I
am not. My last little shindig was about a year ago, didn't
go very well. He just takingwhose decision yours? It was kind of
mutual. Yes, as it happens, I was in a relationship for a
very long time, and dating afterthat has been kind of hit or miss.
So how long is that long termrelationship? About nine years? Nine

(07:12):
years? That's a long time,dude, it's a long time. It's
a long time. It's hard togo from that to starting back from square
one and just going through the what'syour favorite colors? Again? Exactly?
We were practically married, so tryingto restart from the beginnings and dating has
changed, you know, it verymuch happened. I'm almost I'll be thirty
five next month, and that doesn'thelp either. So but I'm good chilling

(07:32):
on my own. I'm a happyman. And by the way, I
found much younger than I appreciate thatthing. Yeah, I found love my
late thirties. You are an inspiration, Jill, So I keep that in
mind every day. But if Ican go to problem and just hang out,
that'd be cool. That'd be fun, huh. I think if I
wasn't in a relationship, like ifsomething had happened to you me and Leilani,

(07:53):
I wouldn't bother get into another relationship, you don't think. So now
to twenty six years and like, done it done well? Not that it's
a lot of work, it's justlike I don't know, you know,
Yeah, I don't know, especiallywhen Colin goes off and starts living and
living his own life. Yeah,I don't want to spend too much time
thinking about that. Worse, butif it did, like you wouldn't want

(08:13):
to be alone, right, I'mokay in certain respects being alone myself.
Really, you know, yeah,I know, we're all, like I
said before, we're tribal creatures andwe have to have touch and humanity and
closeness and conversation everything else like that. I definitely would be alone for a
while on a boat in the middleof the ocean, drinking heavily. Can
you sail? No, you havea boat. No, we had some

(08:37):
work to do before that one.Well, I'm not planning for this to
happen, but I'd be so flippingdepressed. Oh yeah, you have to
put me out to see. Ithink with the Viking funeral, it would
be one of those things where youwouldn't go looking for it. Maybe like
somewhere down the road years it justhappens. But I don't think you would
be the type to go and justgo dating. I'm so like Irish and
romantic in certain respects, not romanticlike, oh my god, is there

(08:58):
antic I romantic sized things. Themelancholy would creep in. And I mean,
I'm the same guy that wrote AlabamaMoon. Imagine the songs we're gonna
get, well, we're not goingto get them, but you're not gonna
but like those songs for a secondthere, I wanted it to happen,
very very brief second. You haveall hits like this again. I wrote

(09:28):
this song when she broke up withme. These are songs from our breakout
out in the day. You'll notforget the past, Everybody lost and see
fast my friends, all sends outof time. I'll make it just or

(09:54):
not. This is the one songI don't want Valentine. Oh that Sorry,
you can't play songs on podcasts.Yeah, I own the song.
I don't know. No one's gonnasue you. Maybe it's my trick to
make a lot of money off ofiHeart. I sue iHeart for playing my
song in a podcast. Wow,you want to get to the path till

(10:15):
I forget the past? Pay forthat marching band? Oh that's right.
Yeahs are coming back out tomorrow andit's a home dude, so we'll see
you then. I
