Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's the Valentine in the Morning replay.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Welcome to the breakfast table a Valentine in the Morning.

Speaker 3 (00:05):
I laughed heartily.

Speaker 4 (00:07):
Help it's respectful to say I love you.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
The full show podcast starts right now.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
My fam, It's Valentine in the Morning, starting up to show.
Good morning, just after five o'clock on this Thursday morning.
Been a very slowly slow leak. Feels like it slowly
slow week tonight though, we have the big fire Aid concert. Yeah,
I'll be involved with that with Sisiny from an Aerothriyane
Seacrest and the two of us are kind of like,

(00:35):
I don't want I don't want to say hosting, providing content,
like behind the scenes type thing. It's still kind of
up in the air. It's very flux.

Speaker 5 (00:43):
You guys will be painting a picture for those of
us that are listening.

Speaker 4 (00:46):
Yeah, yeah, in the concert.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Yeah now coming to the stage.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
So fun air because if you're listening you might not
see the set changes and all that stuff.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Well, we'll see how it goes. We had a meeting
about it Yesterday's littlervous about it because it's very much
like fire Eate. It's not a last second thing. But
obviously it was put together Oh yeah quickly, you know,
and artists really jumped on board. So when you have
that much involvement and they've got people that have done
this for years obviously, but that much involvement in two
different venues, there's a lot of moving parts and SIS

(01:19):
and I just very very teeny parts in this. But
still there's a lot of moving parts that can affect everybody.
So I'm a little nervous about that.

Speaker 5 (01:25):
You're very good at that kind of stuff though.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
You're sweet, but I'm still nervous. Yeah, of course, Well
I can mess stuff up too, I'm not. Don't hold
me up on that pedestal that you do.

Speaker 5 (01:32):
You're not quite on a pedestal, I would say, like
you know, you're on a phone book.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
No, I'm on a pedestal. I think when you think
of Alhalla, you think of me welcoming you into the
gates Melhall Hall with all your other Viking relatives.

Speaker 5 (01:48):
You are my radio Jesus though, like you know you are.

Speaker 4 (01:52):
All I know is Jesus not up on a pedestal.

Speaker 5 (01:55):
Oh that's a very good point, John, you know you will.

Speaker 6 (02:01):
I guess bright Hat didn't sworn buddy I'm feeling.

Speaker 4 (02:07):
Great, I feel alert, awake.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
My new diet, not to brag, has been giving.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
Me a lot of energy. Okay, trying to eat like
ridiculously clean. Oh god, I know that's so hard to
keep up though it is.

Speaker 7 (02:21):
But don't you feel so much better? Like a week
or two into it, you really start to notice the difference.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
I think, good luck.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
Yeah, my wife is almost like annoyed by it because
she's like.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
That's the thing where with other people in the family,
those kids are still eating chicken nuggets and pizza, and
wife is not doing the clean diet.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
And we went out to eat as a family and
I brought like a little like thing of steamed veggies,
just like have a meal out.

Speaker 4 (02:46):
And I was just like, well, I just gonna you know.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
When you go, I've got my own steamed veggies. Well,
she was like, you can't do that in the restaurant.
I just didn't let them see. And then it was
kind of like sneaking it, you know.

Speaker 5 (02:58):
So you don't want this true toffee that I have.

Speaker 8 (03:01):
Stop that's Dieland yes, with your friends, I can't resist.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
That's Oh it is so good.

Speaker 5 (03:09):
Okay, I will leave it in my purse.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
No never, I've never had you get like this high
from it. It's insane. How much is there? A lot
of it? Fair amount of it?

Speaker 5 (03:21):
There's four pieces, oh, four big squares.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
So just put mine right here on the console between
Brian and I. Let it sit there. Okay, it's marinate.
Maybe the warmth of the console will have the smell
of sure A toffee all through the studio, wafting through
any noster that's open to it.

Speaker 4 (03:42):
Oh yeah, are you not snacking at all? Like there's
no cheat day? No, nothing like? How strict are you
about this?

Speaker 2 (03:48):
I slipped up and headed in an out burger a
few days ago. I think I saw that something? Where
did I see? I saw? For some reason? In and out?
Maybe I sent it to you? I don't you or
something is your following?

Speaker 3 (04:02):
We we briefly shared GPS locations with each other, and
then you backed out, and then I took my You're
not allowed to see what I'm doing if I can't
see what you're doing, So now we're just it's it's over, okay,
But if you want to go back, No, it's fine, okay.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
Okay, one of four three my family. It's Valentine in
the morning. Tomorrow night is senior night for my kids
soccer team, so I have to do the announcements. I'm like,
and you're a senior as from the blah blah blah
blah or blah blah blah blah that type of thing,
and somebody has to sing the national anthem, and they

(04:38):
were trying to find somebody to sing the national anthem,
and I thought, like, could I do that if I
had to?

Speaker 5 (04:45):
I bet you could.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
No.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
I mean like, they have like kids that are going
to be professional singers at that school.

Speaker 4 (04:51):
You're going to push your kid out of the way
to sing that.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
There was nobody volunteering and then it was a crow the.

Speaker 4 (04:55):
Desk and do the announcement.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
Oh no, no, there was just nobody volunteering for it.

Speaker 5 (04:59):
And if no one was gonna do it, why not you?
That would be fun?

Speaker 9 (05:03):
See can you see bond Duns early Light?

Speaker 2 (05:11):
Well, so proudly we hailed at the Twilight's last gleaming,
who's brought straps and brought stars to the perilous fight
or the ramp as we watched We're so gallantly Yes streaming.

Speaker 7 (05:24):
We went like hip hop to Broadway, brought stars through
the perilous fight.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
All the rappers we watched were so gallantly yeah streaming.
Then I thought, probably not good. My son would freak
and run away. Oh poor Colin. Right then I thought, oh,
I get my friend. You'll do it because she's got
a beautiful voice and she wants to sing the national
anthem one day.

Speaker 5 (05:50):
That's very nice of you to say, But I don't
want to embarrass Colin. I don't sing well.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
They wouldn't know that you're related with Collein.

Speaker 5 (06:00):
I'd give a personal shout out to him before I
break into song.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
Keep it on the DL. Here's the name, Jill. You
did it once on the show, though, and it was
it was pretty good.

Speaker 4 (06:10):
It was pretty great.

Speaker 5 (06:11):
Thank you, thanks, but we don't need you.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
I called really gras he is going to do the
national anthem.

Speaker 5 (06:20):
I believe you for a quick second.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
I know I should have called him. I forgot. I'll
call him next year for Collins. Yeah, I get like
next year for Collinson and I just get somebody bomb
to see the national anthem. Who's good that we know
Kelly Freak Clarks. He's busy though, Yeah, doesn't she live
out of state too? Yeah? Oh yeah, but I feel
like you like you. Yeah, and Grammar you were doing

(06:46):
a heartbeat? Who else do we know that would do it?
That's like local? We could call and Grammer would say.

Speaker 4 (06:53):
Yes, maybe this is the return of Lewis Capaldi. Uh,
maybe this is how it starts.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
I don't know where he's at and what he's do
but I do love him. And also he may not
know it. He's Scottish.

Speaker 4 (07:03):
That's a good point. Yeah, yeah, I mean I feel like.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
You won't missing what I do it? Can you say
from Otown anyway? Who is it? Dan Miller from Otown? No, no, No,
Joey Mack for new Kids there he do it? Yeah?
Who else? There's a lot of people when Stefani might,
but some of them don't do national anthems because of

(07:26):
the the vocal range and just the way that things arranged. Yeah,
so some don't do that. They avoid it. Kelly would
obviously nail it. Gavindergard actually be pretty good too.

Speaker 5 (07:37):
Who else I could get you?

Speaker 2 (07:40):
Somebody from the Pantages Nashe.

Speaker 5 (07:42):
Or Ryan Cabrera, those would be the two I could.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
Like call up Love Ryan Love Ryan. You said Tanash
is one of you could get me? You've never got
her on the show. It all the time. She's shown
up at con school. What about the show? Yeah, you
do a radio show every day in La. We've never
had tanase on Nash's in the buildings. She hasn't even
come down to say hi to us. And you're gonna
get her for a local high school senior night.

Speaker 5 (08:05):
I could call her up and ask her you can't.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
You can't get her, tell her one year to get ready,
one year to get prepared, to learn the national anthem.

Speaker 10 (08:13):
Right.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
But but I also thought somebody's gonna have to do
those announcements next year because I'll be walking with Colin
Leilani and I because her parents walk with their seniors. So,
barring somebody bigger, do you think I could get Ellen
k She would do it? I mean you, oh, Cash, you'll.

Speaker 4 (08:39):
Do it now?

Speaker 2 (08:39):
Barring somebody bigger, would you do it? Of course?

Speaker 5 (08:42):
Oh my gosh, I would love to.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
But if you could get out, okay, that would be
I mean, she's voice to.

Speaker 5 (08:46):
Grammys, see a more recognizable voice for the people there.

Speaker 2 (08:49):
Yeah, yeah, that's true. Yeah, yeah, but I have to
pay her probably, Yeah, Jill, I can get for like
a hot.

Speaker 5 (08:56):
Dog, totally free, No hot dog gotcha, John does it?

Speaker 2 (09:00):
What's up?

Speaker 10 (09:01):

Speaker 5 (10:01):

Speaker 2 (10:04):

Valentine in the morning. Christy, good morning.

Speaker 11 (10:38):
Good morning.

Speaker 10 (10:39):
How are you?

Speaker 2 (10:40):
Good morning, Chrissy, Good morning, Christy. Wake up, she is awake.

Speaker 4 (10:47):
I love it.

Speaker 2 (10:49):
Christy. What's going on today? How are you?

Speaker 11 (10:51):
I'm doing well?

Speaker 12 (10:52):
Thanks you guys. And I mean I could say I
have happy news too, and that's apparently I have a
new bestie and Jill.

Speaker 2 (10:58):
You've got a new bestie and Jill, speak to me
about this, okay.

Speaker 12 (11:02):
So there I was with my children in the car
on the way to school. We love listening to you
guys in the morning, and you were doing your brutally
honest to dating profiles, and now you did Jill in
the a chef's kiss type of description. So the accuracy
was so on point that my kids in the back
seat started going, Mom, that's you, and I went, yeah,

(11:24):
it totally is, And so Jill and I might be
the same person, and therefore I think bestie's.

Speaker 2 (11:29):
Jill's dating profile. This is a point of reference for you,
if we're brutally honest, if she was still dating Jillian
and otherwise known as Sleeping Beauty and Sweatpants. By day,
she's a highly professional radio host, waking up at ungodly
hour to entertain the masses. By night, she transforms into
a Disney loving show tune belting, dairy avoiding nap queen.

(11:50):
You can handle spontaneous Broadway performances and understand that just
five more minutes of sleep actually means leave me alone
for an hour. We might get along. Her likes are cats,
dressing up in costumes, and enjoying role play. Can she
be your mee.

Speaker 5 (12:07):
Chrissy? We are twin flames?

Speaker 11 (12:10):
I mean, should I be so lucky?

Speaker 12 (12:12):
And I gotta tell you when it got to the
point about five minutes more and that being an hour.
Can we just normalize one more hour sleep in the morning, y'all,
because yes, Jill, we all need that extra hour.

Speaker 5 (12:23):
Yes, thank you. I've actually started setting my alarm an
hour before I need to get up, because I find
that my sleep after that is the comfiest, coziest best
sleep I get.

Speaker 12 (12:34):
Of the night, and especially if you have to wake
up at an incredibly early hour. I mean you, guys,
I'm sure you're there at like four am or something.

Speaker 9 (12:41):
Yeah, five, five, one more hour, one more sleep.

Speaker 5 (12:51):
Yeah, Chrissy, what's okay? We're gonna say our favorite musical
on the count of three?

Speaker 12 (12:55):
Oh my gosh, okay, well wait, hold on, we have
to have a quick parameter of all time or of
like whatever last twenty years, whatever you go to right.

Speaker 2 (13:03):
Now, something I've brought right now, or like what you're.

Speaker 5 (13:06):
Listening to, like your favorite right now but you're listening
to because mine changes.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
Does it? Okay? Yeah, all right, so I'll count you
guys down. You say your favorite musical?

Speaker 12 (13:15):
Yes, okay, okay, three, two, one six Wicked?

Speaker 2 (13:21):
Oh wow, the breakup is quick and fast, so sad
on the count of three. If you were going to
roll play and dress up with you. My god, I'm
gonna ask the same thing. What would you dress up? Okay,
so the count of three. If you're gonna role play
with your s so significant other in a certain costume,
what would you be?

Speaker 13 (13:41):
Do?

Speaker 5 (13:41):
I take away because that's too obvious.

Speaker 2 (13:45):
A new character? Maybe? Okay, hold up, I'll give you
time in ten nine kind of good.

Speaker 14 (13:52):
I like that.

Speaker 2 (13:53):
Eight seven, six, five, four three two one.

Speaker 5 (14:05):
Winnie the poop, tinker Bell.

Speaker 2 (14:09):
The poo. You go for the most unsexually attractive Carol
shirt and no pants.

Speaker 5 (14:14):
That's exactly it.

Speaker 2 (14:15):
He's not weird pants, He's a big poo. I'm taking
tank every time. Tinker Bell works as teeny, so whatever
I'm bringing to the table, She's like, wow, oh my god,
your kid's still in the colle.

Speaker 12 (14:32):
But I guess realize something, you guys. Tinker Bell also
no pants?

Speaker 5 (14:36):
All right, you're.

Speaker 2 (14:38):
Right, you guys are twin flames. Flames all right, Chrissy, Hey,
thanks for the call.

Speaker 5 (14:46):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (14:47):
All right, we'll checulated, take.

Speaker 12 (14:48):
Care of love, take care of you, guys.

Speaker 2 (14:51):
I will tell them, okay, glad they weren't in the car, right,
Oh my god? One four three, My family it is
Valentine in the morning.

Speaker 14 (14:58):
Text Valentine in the morn at three one oh four
to three.

Speaker 2 (15:06):
One of four three mivam it is Valentine in the morning. Today.
Jill is doing something I happened on my calendar. I
just noticed that she's never done before.

Speaker 5 (15:17):
You're okay, Yeah, I know you got it saved in
your calendar.

Speaker 2 (15:20):
Oh, you told us about it before so much, and
I wanted to make sure that we were cognizant of it,
thanks and respectful of it and made no jokes.

Speaker 4 (15:26):
You had no jokes.

Speaker 2 (15:27):
My wife has gone through so many over the years
and she has not enjoyed them. And I know you
and I talked to a guy about this recently, about
a new type of mammogram that isn't as painful as
a mammogram is.

Speaker 5 (15:40):
I think he even talked about like you're laying down,
like you're on your stomach, laying down and they're able
to do the scan right that way.

Speaker 2 (15:47):
But that doesn't seem to be available yet, right, No,
it's not when you're getting today.

Speaker 5 (15:50):
No, And I don't know what to expect. It is
my first ever mammogram, okay. And when we talked about this,
the very first time when I was saying that I
need to get it done, there were so many texts
that were so all over the place. Some people say
it's so uncomfortable, some people say it hurts. Some people
say it's absolutely nothing. So I don't know what it's
going to be for me.

Speaker 2 (16:08):
Intelligent question and honest question without trying to be a sallacious. Yeah,
does the pain of the mammogram? Is there anything to
do with the size of the breast, Like is the
larger breast or smaller breast? Do they have their own
issues with the mammogram that one's being squished more? Yea
one you have to grab more because it's smaller something.
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (16:27):
I think it depends on the chest, does it really?

Speaker 2 (16:29):
I guess which would be worse to have a larger
chest or smaller.

Speaker 5 (16:32):
To well, see, some people have more dense breasts than
the other. Yeah, so it would might not.

Speaker 2 (16:37):
Be to not just size, but the density of the
breast itself altogether.

Speaker 5 (16:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (16:41):
You know men can get breast cancer too, Oh yeah,
and it's harder to detect with men because we don't
have that breast tissue and just the way our bodies
are different. Obviously, it's harder to detect, but men can
get it. Have you e been tested for the bracketgen
No I haven't.

Speaker 5 (16:56):
I haven't, but they're doing a breast ultrasound as well. Yeah,
because I've been having some pain, so she wanted to
look at that too. So it's just right a lot
this afternoon.

Speaker 2 (17:05):
Does that get into anywhere near the lymphones or anything
like that?

Speaker 5 (17:08):
Yeah, yeah, yes, right, yeah.

Speaker 2 (17:10):
So mom, when she had her breast cancer's breast cancers viber,
she had him eseectomy and opted not to do anything
after that, but also had a lymphos taken out, I think,
and so she can't get any injections or even blood
pressure on her upper left extremity because of that. I
don't know what, but it's the thing I guess. Okay, yeah,

(17:32):
so listen, if you've had a mammogram, here's this forty
year old woman having one for the first time. What
can you tell her? Are you a mimmographist? Can I
tell you?

Speaker 15 (17:45):
How?

Speaker 16 (17:45):
Like?

Speaker 2 (17:46):
I felt like I was doing really well here, it's
sounding reasonably intelligent everything, and then I just lost it.

Speaker 3 (17:53):
You have to be you.

Speaker 2 (17:54):
That's right, Thank you A dumb dumb No, it's not
a dumb dumb I just sometimes I throw myself into
the self deprecation fire. Anyway, if you've had it done
before and you want to reach out, let y'all know, GoAhead,
three one O four three's to text line three one
O four three. What can she expect? Can't you do
anything to prepare? Can you take like iprofen or telen.

Speaker 5 (18:14):
I just know I can't wear any lotion or deodorant.
It's like a whole checklist of stuff I have to do. Yeah,
well no, I'll shower before I go. You guys, I
wore this morning? Ohower later?

Speaker 16 (18:25):
Oh that's you John. Yeah, I don't do that gym
this morning. I was just curious. One four three MYFM,
it is Valentine in the morning.

Speaker 5 (18:39):
And Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga is going to be a
part of fire Aid benefit concert happening tonight. You can
listen to it on my FM beginning at beginning at
seven pm. And Valentine's gonna be giving us a play
by play throughout the show. But there's so many performers
at Into It Dome and Kia Forum, like Lady Guy

(19:00):
of course, Billie Eilish, set Racy Abrams, Katie Perry. It's
gonna be so much good music tonight.

Speaker 2 (19:08):
The fear is though, like there's so many celebrities gonna
be part of this tonight too, and everything, like I'm
doing a play by play thing and just kind of
like painting the picture on the radio stuff, and then
Sis from on air down the hall is gonna do
it too, And I'm like, what about recognize a person?
I'm sitting there and I'm like, and uh, somebody else
coming on the stage here. Let's waiting. It's waiting, see

(19:30):
until like it's somebody in my ear telling me who
this person is. You know? Do you know?

Speaker 5 (19:34):
Are you gonna have anybody in here with you?

Speaker 2 (19:36):
No?

Speaker 5 (19:37):
It's just you and Sis.

Speaker 2 (19:38):
Yeah, yeah, it's just the two of us. Okay, somebody
wants to come and be my producer or something like,
I honestly might, you might, really, I.

Speaker 4 (19:46):
It depends on when my wife gets out of the
hospital and.

Speaker 2 (19:48):
When my h ow came. I'm sorry she works at hospital.
The way I said that was so dramatic. My wife
gets out, then I'll come by and hang out.

Speaker 8 (19:57):
But if she's not not gonna hang out, you can
see how if I can wait till my wife gets
out of the hospital. You're a sweet man, still trying
to get away from the kids. Are you looking for
any excuse bring the kids? Yeah, we'll have the kids
of the show too.

Speaker 2 (20:12):
Absolutely not broadcast on every single station. iHeart station here
in Los Angeles, and iheard stations across the entire country.
And then Brian's kid in the background. Fantastic. It's one
o four to three, my fam, it is Valencine in
the morning. As day progresses. Will keep you updated on
the plane crash, obviously, and the helicopter crash over the
Potomac just when you saw it last night come across.
I mean, in my gut, I knew there probably were

(20:33):
no survivors. And today is going to be a very
weird day because for people out of the Wichita area,
more than likely out of the Midwest, out of Kansas
in that area, but people from around the world. So
you never know when something like this happens, you oh
my god, that's absolutely horrible and the loss of life,
and it's an absolute tragedy. But there's a weird trickle
of information that comes out, and the trickle of information

(20:54):
is often like, oh my god, did you know so?
And so from high school. Yeah, he was on that
flight that you're workers, friends, family members, people you may
work with or have contacts with. For some people today,
that trickle information will start to come out.

Speaker 17 (21:08):
You're listening to Valentine in the Morning on my FM.

Speaker 14 (21:13):
Listen Anywhere with the iHeartRadio app right.

Speaker 2 (21:15):
Six thirty six. The weather today morning clouds, sunny, cool
this afternoon. Timp's fifties, low sixties, forty six West Covina,
fifty one Garden Grove. Jill has some entertainment headlines coming up.

Speaker 5 (21:25):
A little House on the Prairie. Reboot is coming. I'll
tell you everything we know so far.

Speaker 2 (21:32):
Fifty Oh there's a cottage corps coming back, that type
of like a outfit, right, yes, so that's a Leilani
last night. I don't know why I've brought up the
phrase cottage court. She goes, what's that? I go, Laura
taught me it's like, you know, when you wear clothing
that doesn't show a single thing, it's all the way
down to your ankles or something.

Speaker 7 (21:51):
And she goes up, there's a card that works here
that was really into that. What's she really let down
the hall? She answered, sponsor, I show down the hall. Okay,
really into cottage courp right, and she's not now, not
as much that I see. But she was wearing those
dresses all the time when I first met her. Huh okay,
that's how I got introduced.

Speaker 2 (22:06):
Some texts coming in here. This was based on what
we talked about earlier. Jill's having a mammogram today. First one,
I'm an F cup. This is the text. I'm an
F cup and mammograms are awkward and uncomfortable, but I
would not stay painful. Now the text you can do
this Jill. Another text, I'm an oncology are in. I've
also had many mammograms. Nothing to prepare for except what
you'll mention. No lotions, leave your lotions in the vehicle.

(22:27):
Not as big of a deal as people think. Your
breast is being squeezed in different positions for seconds, so
you're uncomfortable for a few seconds each manipulation, but just
hold your breath. All things, probably ten minutes. My wife
is never she said it hurts, she'd never liked it.

Speaker 5 (22:39):
We got a couple of texted are saying that the
skin is pulled like crazy.

Speaker 2 (22:43):
Oh really, so it's not the smush, it's to pull
the skin maybe or something.

Speaker 5 (22:48):
People are saying, it's quick, it's very fast.

Speaker 2 (22:51):
Yeah. I've only had one mammogram two years ago because
I felt a love with my ripe breast. It ended
up being benign tumor they had to remove because it
was growing. The mammogram was really in comfort one, a
little painful, but not too bad. I'm brocking one positive
and I've had a double miss sectomy in forty five.
I love your show. Thank you for that, and thank
you for sharing, ladies. You really really did come through.
There's a lot of sharing here for Jill.

Speaker 5 (23:12):
Yeah, thank you.

Speaker 2 (23:13):
Does it make you feel any different going in for
your first mammogram?

Speaker 5 (23:17):
No, I'm it's weird to say.

Speaker 2 (23:20):
You feel more comfortable, is what I'm saying.

Speaker 5 (23:21):
Yeah, I'm more comfortable about it. I'm okay with pain,
like I'm a pretty high pain tolerance and uh.

Speaker 2 (23:28):
Yeah you do.

Speaker 5 (23:28):
Actually, it's something that just needs to be done, so right,
I need to get it done.

Speaker 2 (23:32):
I wouldn't tell them that. Listen, I've got a high paint.
Let's see what you gotta do. Geez. Wow, all right,
well two thirty today said thirty. Wherever you guys are today?
Two thirty think of me. It's about out four to
three mins. Them's balance in the morning. Text lines are open.

(23:54):
How are you today? How are you doing today? Yourself?

Speaker 18 (23:58):
Three?

Speaker 2 (23:58):
One four three? This is just a beaver.

Speaker 5 (24:02):
Done that.

Speaker 2 (24:03):
Thanks, there's always some I'm a sucker, Jonas brother as Sucker.
It is six forty four. It's one of four three
mile famous valence in the morning. Obviously, we'll keep you
informed about the crash, the plane crash with the helicopter
that happened last night in DC. We'll be talking about that.
But I also want to, you know, keep in mind
sometimes we have little kids in the car, so stuff

(24:24):
like that has to be dealt with. I mean, we
know everything we need to know at this point. Now
it'll be a list of passengers that comes out. You know,
the entirety of the loss of life we're kind of
well aware of, and it will take a fair amount
of time for the actual cause to come through and stuff,
but it'll be all over the news today and everything,
So I just don't want to delve into it too
much when the little kids are in the car and

(24:45):
stuff like that. Ll travel one of the safest ways
out there, but for so many of us. You know,
you just couldn't imagine something like that. And like I
said earlier, people are gonna get phone calls today, text
messages and emails going do you remember so and so
from so and so? Or oh my god, blah blah blah.
And already the was it the US figure skating team?
Members of that team were on there, yes, or a

(25:06):
lot of figure skaters right.

Speaker 5 (25:07):
Right, coming back from some type of national championship.

Speaker 2 (25:11):
It was yeah wow. Yeah. So just just absolute heartbreaking.
And we'll keep you informed of what you need to
be informed of, obviously, but it's just it's just so sad, obviously.
Six one of four to three, my fam, This is
Valentine in the morning, Brian, Harry. You doing this morning, Bud.
I'm feeling all right, man, Yeah, I'm feeling good.

Speaker 4 (25:32):
I have energy, I have my friends.

Speaker 2 (25:34):
Right, I have okay, my whole life ahead of me, right, and.

Speaker 5 (25:38):
Any listening earlier, Brian still has not touched the truea toffee.

Speaker 2 (25:43):
Yeah still there, right? Will you try some? I absolutely
will try some. Yeah, bring it up. I'm looking to
I asked her to come diabetic give it to me,
but no. What happened yesterday Jill went to Disneyland, which
is no crazy occurrence. Well thanks for the sound effect.
That really got it. Everyone's a year. It's the Loudestmr Everry. Wow,

(26:05):
look at that. And this is supposed to be really good.

Speaker 5 (26:06):
It's delicious.

Speaker 2 (26:07):
I've never had this. It just looks like I'm not
a sugar guy.

Speaker 5 (26:10):
I recommend a very small piece.

Speaker 2 (26:13):
I'm a all right, I've never ever had this Disney.

Speaker 5 (26:19):
It looks like, yeah, it's toffee, but with the Chuo
sprinkles around it that they have, this is just.

Speaker 2 (26:26):
Going to be pure sugar.

Speaker 6 (26:27):
Is this so good?

Speaker 2 (26:28):
I've never had this for Disney fishionados. I'm about to
bite into something I didn't even know existed. Toff. I
don't even I don't eat really Chure's. It's not my thing.
So for the first time ever, here comes this bite
going in now that mic is on. Mm hmmm mm

(26:49):
hmmm mm hmm.

Speaker 5 (26:52):
Yeah, it's delicious. Dare I say my favorite Disneyland treat.

Speaker 2 (26:58):
It's great. I just lost a filling talk see why
you like it. It's very tasty, very good, like be good.

Speaker 5 (27:08):
Now if you don't have a lot of sugar, you're
good now with that little.

Speaker 2 (27:11):
No, I mean I could eat more, but I'd probably
start getting headache or something. Do people like eat, like
how much they eat in a regular sitting? Would they
eat this full square? Three square?

Speaker 5 (27:20):
I've eaten three squares in one sitting before.

Speaker 2 (27:23):
Shut up.

Speaker 5 (27:24):
Yeah, it's been a very long time.

Speaker 2 (27:27):
Oh my god, I did.

Speaker 5 (27:28):
I couldn't even make it home.

Speaker 2 (27:30):
Did you feel nauseous?

Speaker 5 (27:31):
Yeah? I didn't feel great after. But that's why I
just now.

Speaker 2 (27:37):
You can eat a full one of these?

Speaker 10 (27:38):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (27:39):
Yeah, I could do that. I could, You could easily.
I dare you. I can look at the small little
bike that I ha see. No, you can do that.
I have to tell you are a bad influence on me.
Why you could get me to do anything?

Speaker 5 (27:54):
Like?

Speaker 2 (27:54):
No, I think you should have one, but like here,
I had that teeny corner and.

Speaker 7 (27:59):
R even have lunch, like he won't want to order
a dose echis or something.

Speaker 8 (28:04):
Valentine's a great make me that guy, made me that guy.

Speaker 2 (28:12):
This is the smallest corner ever. I just gave you.
It's the holidays. This is what happens.

Speaker 3 (28:19):
And then he'll give you a whole speech about being
you know, friendship and life is sure.

Speaker 2 (28:25):
A day, you know, And then hand that to Jill.
You can put it back out first, and we've just
shown that we can have a little bit of life
and you know, maintain our dignity. We didn't go crazy
on those things. That's my favorite treat ever, Is it really?
That's your favorite? A stop? So now I know what
to get you for Christmas? F now on, Okay, it's

(28:47):
like a huge box of that stuff. No, that was tasty.
So that's a big Disneyland thing. Anyway, I was trying
to say, is Jill went through yesterday and took some
folks that listened to our show and walked around with him.
So she's available for tours.

Speaker 5 (28:59):
Yeah, but yes. Serena called in. Her happy news was
her kids bought some tickets to go to Design to
celebrate their twenty fifth wedding anniversary. Yeah, and I told them, Yestad,
I'm like, I'm so sorry. I just invited myself to
join your family's trip. But we had so much fun.
And they've been listening for years. I remember when Colin
was born.

Speaker 2 (29:19):
Oh my gosh, they were.

Speaker 5 (29:20):
So so souid.

Speaker 2 (29:21):
She'll goes to Disney so often that she just really
knows it. She thought if they hadn't been in a while,
she could kind of guide them around. Yeah, because she
darn near gets a paycheck. She's probably gonna get a
ten on you unit from so she's there all the time.
And it was just I wanted to mention it again
because it's so sweet of you. And I know you're
not looking to get accolades or anything, but to take
a family that you don't know, you haven't met them. No,

(29:42):
they were wonderful people, but to do that and take
time off from your afternoon to drive there and walk around,
that's a special person. So that's very sweet of you.

Speaker 5 (29:50):
Thank you. It was It was really really fun. We
had a really good time. They were the sweetest family.

Speaker 2 (29:54):
And then you come back in here and you bring
crack one oh four to three MYFM.

Speaker 1 (30:00):
Here is what's coming up. In entertainment headlines.

Speaker 5 (30:03):
Two pairs of crocs are about to be released, inspired
by a film. I'll tell you which one. Right after traffic.

Speaker 1 (30:11):
One O four to three my SM entertainment headlines, the.

Speaker 5 (30:15):
Beatles have launched their own Yellow Submarine crocs. It's two
pairs of shoes inspired by the Yellow Submarine film that
came out in nineteen sixty eight. One of them, of course,
literally look like yellow submarines. They have all kinds of
gibbets too that are Beetles inspired. Those little I don't
even know what you would call them, those little trinkets. Yeah, charms,
thank you, John, the charms to go on the shoes.

(30:36):
Another one, the other pair of shoes is this black
soul gray outlines and kind of has that more psychedelic
nature of the film. But they just announced this collaboration yesterday.

Speaker 2 (30:47):
So the Beatles announced it.

Speaker 5 (30:49):
Beatles and Crocs and Crocks.

Speaker 2 (30:51):
I mean, like there's only two Beatles left.

Speaker 5 (30:52):
Yeah, right, yeah, just the right interesting, you know what
I mean?

Speaker 2 (30:56):
No, I know what you mean. I just thought it
was interesting. Yeah, I don't know. They're still doing products.

Speaker 5 (31:00):
The gibbets will have all four members on them, like
you'll have. Yeah, there's so many little gibbets that go
on these shoes. Is that what you're supposed to do?
You're gonna supposed to have that many on your crocks?

Speaker 3 (31:11):
Do?

Speaker 7 (31:11):
And I feel like you shouldn't just make Crocs uglier
by doing that, But if they do it anyway, Wow.

Speaker 2 (31:16):
Okay, wow, John coming after the Crocs.

Speaker 5 (31:18):
Guys have fine with it and Little House on the
Prairie premiered in the seventies. It's based on Laura Ingleswilder
series of the Little House books. But it's going to
get a reboot on Netflix. This just got the green
light and according to Deadline, it's going to be this
reimagining of the series based on the book series. Again,

(31:39):
I'm Jill for there in timid headlines.

Speaker 2 (31:41):
All right, it is six fifty three. It's valentin in
the morning. This is one of four to three MIFM.
We do have one thousand dollars come in your way
at seven o'clock this morning. Also, if you want to
play in our Battle of Sexes, you can call right
now eight sixty six five four four my FM.

Speaker 19 (31:56):
Can you no, no, no, no, no on a fourth
three my family.

Speaker 2 (32:09):
It is Valentine in the morning. Today's January thirtieth. One
more day and then we're done with this month. And
I think a lot of us will be happy to
be done with this month.

Speaker 5 (32:16):
You know is very long?

Speaker 2 (32:18):
Has it been a long January? Well, it's the most
day is thirty one, so yeah, you can't get longer
than that. And then we don't get paid today. We
get paid tomorrow. Right, Wait what No, it's like fifteenth
and the thirty first or something like that, Bressport, thirtieth whatever.
The last three month is. Yeah, I owe my bookie.
Oh my bookie. You know what Campbell do? Oh never, Yeah,
this kid's listening right now. Let's paint a good picture.

(32:39):
I'm so sorry. No one is gonna break my legs
because I owe them anymore. No one about breaking legs,
just kidding. Kids may not know that old wives tale
that wasn't a livestone was around all right, seven o
eight it is Valentine in the morning. What simple thing
would you like to make into a law? You can
chat with us now at three one o four three.

Speaker 5 (32:57):
I know you've seen this sloating around online, but a
state senator from Connecticut, he really feels very passionate about
movie theaters putting the start time of when the movie
actually begins, and he that's not bad. He wants to
introduce this bill that would require movie theaters to list
exact start time.

Speaker 2 (33:16):
Will start time so many times you're like, let's go,
the movie starts at seven thirty, give me late, and
you get there and seven forty five they're still running credits.
So Nicole Kimmin's coming on talking about to Korum at
a movie theater.

Speaker 5 (33:25):
He says, it's an abusive people's time. Yes, so he's
introducing this bill, why not just.

Speaker 2 (33:30):
Be accurate, like we all know boom, that's when it starts.
And if you want to see credits come earlier. I mean,
if you want to see previous come earlier, that's not bad.
I like that. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (33:39):
I was thinking maybe if I would introduce some type
of law or some rule, like if you are in
a lane getting onto a different freeway, you cannot cut
at the last second, you have to get in line.

Speaker 2 (33:51):
Oh, I would go straight to that. He does that
all the time.

Speaker 4 (33:54):
No, I know he does.

Speaker 2 (33:55):
Can you tell us? John? And we got to do
the Battle of sexes here? But wasn't there a study
that said that actually lane actually keep traffic moving or
something increases the traffic flow right versus there we're just
sitting there and waiting their turn because a lot of
people are sitting there.

Speaker 7 (34:07):
The people are sitting there on their phones, they're doing
other things. They don't realize they have so much space
between them and the next car. So it's like, hey,
I'm not gonna make the line longer. I'm just gonna
swoop in front of you for snoozeing.

Speaker 2 (34:15):
Was that you yesterday in the phone when you got
mad at that lady that honked at you?

Speaker 3 (34:18):
Ah?

Speaker 5 (34:19):
Yes, yeah, because that's.

Speaker 2 (34:21):
Where this comes from. That's the law you want to make.
Because that lady yesterday it inspired me.

Speaker 5 (34:24):
Yesterday.

Speaker 2 (34:25):
She was on the phone, was going home and she's like,
oh you oh okay, well lady, you know what, and
she's yelling at this lady.

Speaker 5 (34:31):
But no, really, I was just like, the walk at me.

Speaker 2 (34:35):
There's no need for that, man, I'm sure.

Speaker 5 (34:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (34:39):
Shoots figures, ma'am. Don't honk it.

Speaker 15 (34:42):
All right.

Speaker 2 (34:43):
It's the battle of the sexiest rips in the Medicine
is Dave. He lives Newbury Park, works as an elementary
school principal and enjoys traveling with the fam. Dave, what's up, buddy, Hello, Hello, morning,

Hunton Park.

Speaker 20 (35:01):
She works as a teacher's a sister to enjoys going to.

Speaker 5 (35:05):

Speaker 2 (35:07):

Speaker 5 (35:10):
Good morning, So.

Speaker 2 (35:11):
Dave what school do you teach at.

Speaker 5 (35:15):
I'm not gonna say.

Speaker 2 (35:18):
Well, it's an elementary school and he lives in Newbury Park.
We'll find fun. You guys have ways, we have her ways.
And he's a principal. Wow. Is that a lot of
pressure being principal these days? Yes, it is.

Speaker 21 (35:32):
But it's a good job, really rewarding too.

Speaker 2 (35:34):
I love to hear that. Well, here's how it works, Ashley.
I'm gonna ask a few questions, Dave, Jill's gonna be
asking you some questions. The best of the three wins.
Still tied in the regulation, we go to a not
so tough tiebreaker question. Let us start with the ladies.
What a Harvard student founded Facebook? Mark, that's correct, Dave.

Speaker 5 (35:55):
Katy Perry was the voice of what Blue Animated? Care aracter?

Speaker 1 (36:02):
What Blue Anime?

Speaker 2 (36:05):
I have no idea.

Speaker 5 (36:07):
It was Smurfett more smurf talk on the show.

Speaker 2 (36:10):
Okay, current score? Ladies up one? Oh? What famous movie
series takes place in the small town of Forks, Washington.

Speaker 11 (36:19):
Toilight?

Speaker 2 (36:20):
Oh You're so good?

Speaker 5 (36:22):
Dave, who was crowned twenty twenty four's Sexiest Man Alive.

Speaker 20 (36:29):
I'm gonna say, Ryan Reynold, Oh, John Krasinski.

Speaker 2 (36:35):
Oh, I guess it was so fast.

Speaker 5 (36:36):
Ladies when.

Speaker 20 (36:39):
Ashley congratulations, you want a Battle of the Sexes championship certificate,
post it on socials, use the hashtag downtime in the
morning and share it with pride.

Speaker 5 (36:47):
You've also won a pair of tickets to see Katy
Perry at the Hondes Center on July thirteenth. Tickets go
on sale tomorrow at ten am on ticketmaster dot com.

Speaker 11 (37:01):
Condat, thank you so much.

Speaker 2 (37:05):
Nice job, Ashley. Well listen, Daves, you exit the stage.
This moment is entirely yours. You take it away.

Speaker 5 (37:13):
Ashley, Congratulations, have fun, everybody, stay safe out there and
have a great day.

Speaker 2 (37:18):
You too. Thanks for being a great principle. I'm sure
you are coming up free things I need to know.
We'll update you on that mid air collision between the
American Airlines yet and that army helicopter. The very latest
we're finding out about that in a few minutes.

Speaker 14 (37:31):
From sedan's and SUV's to full sized trucks.

Speaker 17 (37:34):
Experience the incredible power and fuel efficiency with Toyota Electrified.

Speaker 14 (37:39):
Three things you need.

Speaker 2 (37:40):
To know right now, seven nineteen. It is Valentine in
the morning. This is one of four to three my FM.
Obviously this story that many of us woke up to
this morning. Overnight, American Airlines passenger plane collided with a
black Hawk military helicopter over DC sixty passengers, four crew
members on the jet, three army soldiers all in the helicopter.
You wreckage landed in the Potomac River. There has been
a massive search and rescue effort. No survivors are expected

(38:02):
to be found. It's turned into a recovery operation. At
this point. CBS is trying at a new way to
let customers get items out of locked cabinets. Instead of
waiting for an employee to open a locked cabinet, you'll
be able to open it yourself by using the CBS app.
This is good, right, this is so good. What do
you got behind the cabin that you're always get it?

Speaker 5 (38:21):
There's some haircare products up to wait for. Sometimes a
certain razor that I like is.

Speaker 2 (38:26):
Yeah, yeah, there was something recently when I went there,
I'm like, why is this locked up? I wish I
had the example, but sometimes you see stuff locked up,
You're like, who's stealing that?

Speaker 1 (38:36):
Yourant?

Speaker 2 (38:37):
Was it deodorant? I think I saw that by yeah,
locked up the deodorant. Those kids they let that X
buddies spread.

Speaker 4 (38:43):
They maybe we should let them have it.

Speaker 2 (38:44):
Honestly, the X bodies spread, No, we should cut them off.
They use way too much. So over the past few years,
people shopping ainst stores like CBS, Target, Walgreens have noticed
a growing number of items locked up behind the glass.
Companies say they need to do this because retail theft
obviously has increased. All right, John, what's trending?

Speaker 19 (39:00):
Well?

Speaker 7 (39:00):
More artists just got added to the Grammy performer list.
Also hit in the stage this year will be Stevie Wonder,
Cynthia Arrivo, Chris Martin from Coldplay. We got John Legend
on there and they're joining the already already announced artists
as well. Billie Eilish, Chaperone, Sabrina Carpenter. It's it's stacked
this year again. That show is Sunday night on CBS
and we have a pair of tickets into the Grammys.

(39:22):
You can win them next hour right here on Valentine
in the Morning. I'm John Camuci. That's what's trending on socials, all.

Speaker 2 (39:26):
Right, seven twenty two. Right now, what law would you
like to put in place? You can text it. At
three one O four three.

Speaker 5 (39:32):
Catherine texted in and said Halloween should be celebrated on
the final Saturday of October. As a teacher, I don't
like Halloween on a school night or Friday.

Speaker 2 (39:41):
I do Friday Saturday.

Speaker 5 (39:42):
You too. Devora said concerts need to start at four pm.
Oh yeah, and then ben Texident said people who don't
use turn signals should lose their license.

Speaker 2 (39:53):
Huh not that one? Oh yeah. John's like in and
out of labes. It's one of four to three my
fam it is Valentine in the Morning eight sixty six
five four four of MYFM one U four three It

(40:14):
is Valentine in the Morning, one hour for now. We
have tickets for the Grammys. If you want to go
to the Grammys. Got a pair of tickets coming up
about eight twenty five today on Valentine in the Morning. Now,
what simple thing would you like to make into a law?
You can be a kid and a dull whoever. Everyone's
got a thought. It's a simple little thing. You're going
you know what? That should be a law? Kelly, what
do you think?

Speaker 12 (40:35):
Well, as much as I spent on bills, I would
love to be able to claim my dog's as dependents.

Speaker 2 (40:39):
Oh my gosh, Oh my gosh. Right, I bumped into
a friend of mine yesterday whose dog was having some
health concerns. He told me how much money he had
spent on that dog. Now, luckily he does have pet insurance.
I guess, so he's not paying all of it. But
it was so astronomical you wouldn't believe it.

Speaker 11 (40:58):
I just dropped three thousand last week.

Speaker 2 (41:00):
Oh yeah, multiply that times ten?

Speaker 11 (41:03):
Whoa, Yeah, well, I mean I've over her lifetime.

Speaker 12 (41:06):
It's way more than that, but just last week's thousand.

Speaker 18 (41:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (41:09):
No, we love our pets so much. I know that'd
be great if there were dependents.

Speaker 11 (41:12):
Yeah. Well, and I'm not kids, Like, why is that?

Speaker 12 (41:14):
Why should I be penalized? I do have a kid,
she just has four legs instead of two.

Speaker 2 (41:18):
Got it, got it?

Speaker 5 (41:20):
Got it?

Speaker 2 (41:22):
All right, we'll see we can run that up the flagpole.

Speaker 12 (41:24):
Yes, thank you.

Speaker 11 (41:25):
I appreciate it, all right, Kelly.

Speaker 2 (41:26):
Take care by bye, Thanks you too, bye bye. You'd
be like claiming, like the cat that comes in from
your neighbor's yard.

Speaker 3 (41:33):
The straight cat.

Speaker 5 (41:34):
Yeah, another dependent, This.

Speaker 2 (41:35):
Guy's a ours too, Hey, Burt, that's the same, right,
did you get it right?

Speaker 5 (41:40):
Burt? By the way, I named him Burt.

Speaker 2 (41:43):
So wait today, because this cat goes from house to
house to house.

Speaker 5 (41:46):
He has different names at different houses.

Speaker 4 (41:47):
Oh, a caller, so your name stands true.

Speaker 5 (41:51):
No, we have a collar on him when an air
tag that just says ang on it.

Speaker 2 (41:56):
So wait a minute. This is insane and it's we're
getting off track here. But they live in Riverside, Jill,
her husband, and there's a cat that always comes to
the house. They don't let it inside, but they feed
it and take care of it. Right then they realize
this cat is going to everybody's house and everybody's taking
care of the cat, and it actually goes into somebody
else's house. Yes, that person put that cat on their

(42:16):
Christmas card and said that's their cat, right, and.

Speaker 5 (42:19):
We want we want Bert to be their cat because
Bert's going inside.

Speaker 2 (42:23):
His name is not Bert. At the other house is
something else.

Speaker 5 (42:26):
It is something I forget what they call it.

Speaker 2 (42:27):
Does they still have an air tang on it? Yes,
and it still has a says on Yeah.

Speaker 5 (42:31):
We told them, well, we'll always know where Bert. Well,
we'll always know where the cat is.

Speaker 1 (42:39):
Next Valentine in the morning.

Speaker 2 (42:42):
Seven thirty four. It's Valentine in the morning. The weather
today morning clouds, sundy, cool this afternoon timp's fifties, low
sixties forty eight. So are fifty four in Huntington Beach.
Did I tell you what my wife did? I was
telling this to Jill earlier. I don't know if I
told you, Brian, you were working on something as a producer.
My wife woke me up at like two two o'clock
in the morning. So she let the dogs out two

(43:03):
o'clock and they're loud and everything, and so she wakes
me up by doing that. I'm like, ah, tossing and
turning on whatever. I'm sitting there and I'm trying to
get back to sleep for another hour and a half
or so, and then my text goes off on my
phone next to the bed, like who is texting me?
But I recognize her because I have a special thing
for her. Goes boom boom, boom boom, something like that,

(43:23):
like a heartbeat, like Joss all right or Shark Dune
Indundu dead in Dundu. And I go, who is texting
me at this hour? And I say audibly and she goes, oh,
that's me. I'm awake. You're right next to me in
the bed, like a foot from me, and you're texting me.
I wanted to remind you to take Colin's suit to

(43:44):
the cleaner when you get up in the morning. Like, okay,
thank you, Marina, good morning. How are you today, Thank you?
How are you doing? Okay? What simple law would you
like to see in place here?

Speaker 21 (44:00):
A simple law that does something with these with Karen
to like mind.

Speaker 5 (44:04):
Their own business, to not be a Karen, just live
their life, right.

Speaker 2 (44:09):
Okay, that's tough. That's tough to make that happen. There
are Karen's out there, and apologies again they an even
named Karen that your name became synonymous with that stereotype. Yes,
Jill's mom's Karen, well.

Speaker 13 (44:23):
Not Jill's mom.

Speaker 21 (44:23):
I'm pretty sure she's a really lovely lady.

Speaker 5 (44:25):
She's a lovely Karen. Her name is Karen, and she
really does not like that that.

Speaker 2 (44:32):
Well, there you go, that's a Karen already right there,
as simple as a name's I tell you, all right,
Thanks Marina, appreciate the call. Thank you, Good morning, Leanne.
How are you today?

Speaker 21 (44:43):
Good good?

Speaker 5 (44:43):
How are you guys?

Speaker 2 (44:44):
We're doing all right? So we need a simple thing
that you would like to make into a law.

Speaker 4 (44:49):
A four day work Weeklets this this is how it
needs to be.

Speaker 21 (44:56):
Yes, it gives us a day to kind of relax.
Otherwise we're just run around like crazy people trying to
get air and zone on days that we deserve to
relax after.

Speaker 11 (45:04):
A hard week.

Speaker 4 (45:04):
Yeah, we get one day, one full day, that's it. Friday,
we're exhausted. You have to work that day. Sunday you
got to go to bed early. That's the night before.

Speaker 2 (45:11):
So what do you look to do. Make it like Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

Speaker 4 (45:13):
Or something Friday, Saturday, suns You're gonna have to rotate
that for people.

Speaker 21 (45:16):
You can take Saturday, Sunday, Monday.

Speaker 2 (45:18):
Yeah, some people will have to do that because you
still need services for restaurants and different things, and you know,
everything still needs to run. People work every single day
in this world, so you can have to rotate which
three days you get off.

Speaker 10 (45:29):
Yeah, agreed.

Speaker 21 (45:30):
It could mean per company policy. Some companies might do Fridays,
some might do Mondays. So if it's like a restaurant,
maybe they'll do Saturdays and they have you know, Thursday, Friday,
Saturday off and Sundays are open.

Speaker 8 (45:42):
Yeah, whatever, we'll figure outday.

Speaker 2 (45:45):
Gotcha. Three consecutive days off? Okay. It comes into play
with school then too, though, or kids get in school
off they only do four days a week?

Speaker 11 (45:53):
Yeah, why not?

Speaker 21 (45:56):
They can do They can do one day like maybe
like we're vote. They can work for the kind of
like a remote. They can do something from home.

Speaker 2 (46:04):
Oh my god, you so want this to happen, don't you.

Speaker 21 (46:08):
I really do.

Speaker 2 (46:09):
What do you do for living yourself? Leanne?

Speaker 21 (46:12):
I worked for the Orange County Superior Courts.

Speaker 2 (46:15):
You've had it with him?

Speaker 21 (46:18):
Family law divisions.

Speaker 2 (46:21):
Yeah, you're a lot going on. All right, listen, have
a great day, and I hope it's an easy one
for you.

Speaker 21 (46:24):
Okay, thanks you too, guys, stay safe, take care for me.

Speaker 2 (46:28):
I would like to this is based on something happened yesterday.
A simple thing I'd like to make into law. I
am tired of generations. I don't need to hear another
gen Z, gen X, gen Y, gene. I never know
what it is, and I feel like you need a
cheat card or something to look it up. And Leilani
was sitting there going, wow, that's Jen whatever? Wait am
I Jen?

Speaker 12 (46:46):
Whatever?

Speaker 2 (46:47):
Which gen is?

Speaker 6 (46:47):
That.

Speaker 2 (46:48):
I don't know, babe. I hear it every day at
work from John gen Z Woa fair Bloom to say.

Speaker 10 (46:57):
Name.

Speaker 2 (47:04):
It's one of four to three my fam this is
Valentine Morning. Good morning, Beverly. What simple thing would you
like to make into a law?

Speaker 11 (47:13):
The day after Super Bowl should be a national holiday.

Speaker 2 (47:16):
Yeah, we're all on board for that.

Speaker 3 (47:19):
This year.

Speaker 5 (47:20):
It is for some people, is it really well? I know,
like my nieces don't have school the next day it's
Lincoln's birthday. I think like we get President's Day off.
But the day after super Bowl some schools are out apparently.
Huh Yeah, I have the day off, So I'm good.

Speaker 2 (47:36):
What do you have it off for? What is it
for you?

Speaker 3 (47:38):
I have?

Speaker 1 (47:38):
I have all Mondays off.

Speaker 11 (47:40):
I work Tuesday through Friday.

Speaker 5 (47:42):
Oh nice, So you're.

Speaker 8 (47:47):
What do you do?

Speaker 11 (47:49):
I'm a nurse practitioner at children's hospital.

Speaker 2 (47:51):
Okay, how many hours on? Are you though? How many hours?

Speaker 11 (47:54):
Ten hours? So I work four ten hour shifts.

Speaker 2 (47:57):
Oh that's a long time. It's a long time.

Speaker 11 (48:00):
Yeah, but those the three day weekends definitely helpful.

Speaker 2 (48:02):
Yeah. Are you like on the entire time do you
feel like or is it kind of like it ebbs
and flows a bit.

Speaker 11 (48:08):
I kind of ebbs and flows a little bit. It's
a nice mix.

Speaker 2 (48:11):
Right. Do you guys have a doctor's break room?

Speaker 11 (48:17):
I know, yeah, I don't really use it, but it's there.

Speaker 10 (48:21):
Uh huh.

Speaker 2 (48:22):
Do you ever watch Gray's Anatomy?

Speaker 11 (48:25):
Oh gosh, yes, I have.

Speaker 5 (48:27):
Okay, just asking a lot goes on the call room?

Speaker 2 (48:31):
Is that what it's called? Amazing? How you know what
it was called?

Speaker 5 (48:36):
I was watched every episode.

Speaker 2 (48:37):
Oh okay, I just know if you've been stopped by
the husband, Well listen, Beth. Thanks for what you're doing.
That's great. Which children's hospital do you work at?

Speaker 11 (48:44):
It's Los Angeles?

Speaker 2 (48:45):
Oh God, love you. We were there a few times
in my sunny colin over the years.

Speaker 11 (48:48):
It's a great place.

Speaker 3 (48:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (48:50):
Did silk the fish tank downstairs?

Speaker 11 (48:52):
There is a fish tank right by the gifts shop.

Speaker 2 (48:55):
Love that fish tank, I really do. All Right, have
a great day. I hope it's a nice, easy one
for everyone over there.

Speaker 11 (48:59):
Thanks guys, you guys are great.

Speaker 2 (49:00):
Wait are you working today?

Speaker 19 (49:03):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (49:03):
I am, yeah, I never know with you Bye baby
one O four.

Speaker 1 (49:09):
To three my FM. Here's what's coming up.

Speaker 5 (49:12):
In entertainment headlines, Netflix has added a feature that has
been most requested, I'll tell you what it is. But
after Chaick one O four.

Speaker 6 (49:22):
To three, my FM entertainment headlines bear Haven rumors about
a movie about in Sync, a biopick, Well, this has
reportedly been put on hold.

Speaker 5 (49:33):
The Hollywood Reporter says producers met with all five members
to get their participation and the project started to go
to the screenwriting stage. But according to the Hollywood Reporter sources,
the guys have been Sync are kind of thinking about
other ideas and potential projects, including a documentary. So this
one biopick that they were all kind of getting to

(49:56):
talk about is being put on hold for now. Netflix
has added a much requested feature. You can now get
full season downloads for iPhones. You can download an entire
season of a series. Apparently it was only available on
Android devices, but now they're going to be bringing it

(50:16):
to iPhones and iPads to be able to download the
entire season.

Speaker 2 (50:19):
So we couldn't download the entire season.

Speaker 5 (50:21):
Reports It's not I thought you did it bit by bit,
season episode by episode. Yeah, but now you can do
the whole season at one time.

Speaker 4 (50:30):
That is kind of nice.

Speaker 2 (50:31):
Then, Oh god, so it was so hard for us
to tap just a few more times. Yeah, and this
is like, this is what we've been waiting for. It
more than once.

Speaker 7 (50:41):
It's like thirty minutes before my flight and then have
to download all these episodes.

Speaker 2 (50:45):
Yeah, but it still might be the same amount of
download time, you know what I mean.

Speaker 14 (50:47):
Maybe.

Speaker 2 (50:48):
And then here's my curious question. If it's coming down
as a full season, right, you're just thirty minutes before
your flight. Yeah, and you're trying to do that and stuff.
Do you have to get that full downloaded the season
to watch something? Because like when you do sodically, I
hit the top one, the next one, the next oneever
and they just go and they download in that order. Now,
if you're downloading is one big chunk.

Speaker 5 (51:07):
Oh you are going to get fifty percent of that
season or nothing.

Speaker 2 (51:13):
You might not get. Anything has to be a full download.

Speaker 1 (51:15):
Yeah, that could be.

Speaker 5 (51:17):
We'll see.

Speaker 2 (51:18):
Well fund our headline yeshues all right, seven fifty two.
It is one of four to three MIFAM. It's Valentine
in the Morning fire Aid tonight. Make sure you're listening
to one of four to three MIFM. It will be
on every iHeart station here in Los Angeles and so
many a crusts in the California and also on iHeart
stations across the entire country too. But tonight, fire Aid,

(51:38):
if you're listening to one of four to three MIFM,
that is the best signal to listen on. We've got
a clarity increase. I believe about our signal just for
this right, and it's in stereo. All the other stations
will be in mono. Speaking of music, how about this
Grammy's coming up Emmy Awards Sunday, Crypto Dot Camarina, we

(52:04):

but no, it's so good. Right, Yes, we have your
tickets eight twenty five this morning, if you're headed in

(52:54):

Speaker 11 (53:24):

laude from college on March first, and everything was just
finalized a couple of days ago.

Speaker 15 (53:34):

Speaker 2 (53:35):
Okay, Now for people that don't know, explain exactly what
summa cum lada is.

Speaker 11 (53:40):

happy news. My mom and I listened to your morning
show every day, So.

Speaker 5 (54:08):

Speaker 2 (54:13):
Did you have fun at all?

Speaker 13 (54:16):
It was?

Speaker 11 (54:19):
Honestly, it was a lot of work. It has been
a long battle. Yeah, I've been battling illness and then
I was still trying to get that piece of paper
that says I'm educated. So it's been a long journey.
So I'd say more of a fight, yea versus you know, fun.

Speaker 2 (54:38):
I thought you're at the other side of it. Now,
you made it, You did this, you did this, you
went through the trials and tribulations of whatever you were
facing and you came out the other side. So you know, like,
if anybody's going through something bad in their life right now,
think back for a split second and something else that
happened in your life. It was really tough. You made
it past that you can do this. You made it

(54:59):
past that your future is gonna be bright.

Speaker 11 (55:01):
Thank you so much. That is powerful. That put a
big smile on my face.

Speaker 2 (55:05):
Thank you. Well, come by sitting on our couch any day.
You're a graduate now and we'd love to have you
in the studio.

Speaker 11 (55:11):
Well, thank you so much for the author. Have a
great day.

Speaker 10 (55:13):

Speaker 2 (55:46):

I am not sanctioning this. I am not the producer
of this show.

Speaker 5 (55:53):
It's gonna be fun.

Speaker 2 (55:54):
Jilli said before that she wanted more power and more
control over how the show works. After all these years,
she thought she earned it, and I go absolutely. So
she came up with us and Brian good, Oh my.

Speaker 5 (56:04):
Gosh, it's called Grammy.

Speaker 2 (56:06):
Or Scammy Grammy or Scammy.

Speaker 5 (56:09):
John is gonna give us some Grammy facts.

Speaker 4 (56:11):
Okay, maybe are they real or did.

Speaker 5 (56:14):
He make them up?

Speaker 2 (56:14):
Okay? Can we have an example, John?

Speaker 4 (56:16):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (56:16):
Sure.

Speaker 7 (56:16):
If I were to say Beyonce is nominated for Album
of the Year, would that be Grammy or Scammy.

Speaker 2 (56:21):
I'd say Grammy. She's always nominated for that's true. She
is all right, that's simple. Okay, what's really gonna win? Sorry,
she's finally gonna win. She's never won a Grammy. She's
one of the most Grammys of anyone bodcast.

Speaker 3 (56:30):
So he gets iced out of the major categories because
it's a scam and that's very very very silly.

Speaker 2 (56:35):
Well, obviously you'll never be part of the Academy. I'm
just saying they want her there, so I would like
be doing this thing like given. If Beyonce is not
like for anything, he'd write her in what absolutely it is?

Potomac River as near freezing temperatures and low visibility. Officials
have not yet said what caused that collision. Time will tell, obviously. Tonight,
