Later in the show we want to know if you've ever been invited to someone's house that weirded you out so bad that you wanted to leave and never come back.

Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's the Valentine in the Morning replay.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Welcome to the breakfast table a Valentine in the Morning.

Speaker 3 (00:05):
I laughed heartily.

Speaker 4 (00:07):
I hope it's respectful to say I love you. The
full show podcast starts.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Right now, my fam, it is Valentine in the Morning,
and good morning. We're starting up to show bro. You
can get those papers if you want get those papers.
We're a little hectic this morning, John, How are you, buddy.

Speaker 4 (00:25):
I'm feeling all right.

Speaker 5 (00:25):
I went home yesterday and tried to I went to
the gym with a friend. Yeah, he got there an
hour after I had gotten there, so I was about
to leave, so I wanted to spend some time with him.
Haven't seen him in a while. So I spent two
hours in the gym. I'm my gosh, I'm find with you.
Watch it's insane.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Yeah, that's a lot of work, though, I mean, when
you go that hard, what are you doing? Cardio and
lifting and stuff.

Speaker 4 (00:46):
It ended up being a full body type of thing.

Speaker 5 (00:48):
Like I ended up just doing a couple of exercises
and then he came in and I doubled up, and
my gosh, I just it's crazy how much that can
affect you.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
God, I'm getting sore thinking about that. Like my neck
literally just got tight as John's talking about that stuff
again too much. Bright, you're back, Yes, you got your papers.

Speaker 6 (01:04):
Can we try something? Yeah?

Speaker 7 (01:06):
This is gonna sound weird, okay, but it's something that
I've been trying with my kids because I came into
this show this morning super stressed, partly because of the meetings.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
The meeting we had these horrible meetings yesterday. When you
ever get a performance review from your boss, the performance
review becomes like You're like, ah, that's no fun and I'm.

Speaker 6 (01:26):
Second guessing everything. I I'm a fraud and I don't
know what I'm doing.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
So can I tell you one thing? Please throw the football.
Just throw the football. That's what I tell kids when
I'm helping out sports and stuff like that. You can
second guess things all you want. You know what, you
gotta throw the football. Okay, step back and just throw it.
You can second guess your steps, how many steps back
you go, You can second guess your arm where it
is positionally and stuff like that. But at the end

(01:52):
of day, if you want to score, you got to
throw the football.

Speaker 6 (01:56):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
So what's your thing?

Speaker 7 (01:57):
Okay, this is what I do with my kids Lee
they are stressed and having a little meltdown, we scream
into the pillow.

Speaker 6 (02:05):
Oh, I'm gonna try, and I would like to offer
it to you if anyone want to.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
I'm okay, actually I'm not a Yeah it feels good,
but well no, it may feel good, but I do
have vocal cords, and I don't want to strain my
vocal chords as we start the show.

Speaker 5 (02:21):
But I want to take this from you, like, feel
free to scream in the pillow at any moment of
the show.

Speaker 4 (02:25):
I support this for you. This is a good journey.

Speaker 6 (02:27):
It feels good.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
Valentine in the Morning, where you scream in your pillow,
Oh my god, it really does feel good? Scary does it?

Speaker 4 (02:37):
Let me?

Speaker 2 (02:37):
Can I hold a pillow for you? My famy, It
is Valentine in the Morning. Good morning. If you want
to reach out and be part of our show, you
can at three one oh four to three. Hopefully the
start your day is going well. I hope you got
some sleep last night. And some of you probably didn't
sleep well last night, worried about the rain and all

(02:58):
that stuff, but I hope you got some I hope
you're moving, stretching and ready to take on the day
and hopefully not screaming into a pillow like Brian, our
producer was a few minutes ago. But as you get up,
you know, keep us turned on, whether you guys have
us on at the house, which a lot of people
obviously can't have as cranked up too loud if you
got other people living in the house. But maybe you
put us on when you get into the car and

(03:19):
you drive it into work. Maybe you're on the freeways
right now, maybe you're already at work because you work
on East Coast time. Whatever your situation is, thank you
for allowing us to be part of that morning routine.
Routines are good, right, so thanks for allowing us to
be part of that. You reach out eight sixty six
five four to FOURFM. Text in three one oh four
three three one oh four three. I don't think Jill

(03:40):
is coming in today. She said it's kind of a
Game ten decision. But the game has started, so I
feel like she might have made her decision.

Speaker 6 (03:46):
Well, the seat's open for you, Jill.

Speaker 5 (03:48):
She's like Lebron, just whenever she feels like coming in
this week, Well we'll take her.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
Oh my god, she would so take that. Yeah, she
would love that. So I just come in whenever I
feel like it. Yeah, pretty much. And then when you don't,
don't Okay. The same girl that wanted to get a driver,
that's right. She was trying to convince her boss John
Peak that because she lives in Riverside now, so that
the company should pay for a driver for her now.
She is not one of those people that wants a

(04:12):
rider or anything like that or that, like a rider
for the you know, her dressing room or something like
I need blue M and ms whatever. But we actually
got her convince that maybe she should ask our boss
John Peak for a driver.

Speaker 6 (04:25):
Laugh in her face.

Speaker 4 (04:26):
I do like that though.

Speaker 5 (04:27):
If you could have a rider and request one thing
in the room every time he goes some place, what
would it be?

Speaker 2 (04:31):
Uh, A driver's not up at the driver's.

Speaker 4 (04:35):
I'd love to be able to nap in the car. Yeah,
on the way to place.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
That's good. Yeah, yeah, and then you're not looking for parking.
I did pull up right away and just hop out.
You know, that's pretty good.

Speaker 4 (04:45):
She had something there she did.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
What's better than a driver, Brian, It's so hard to imagine,
like because yeah, I've worked.

Speaker 6 (04:54):
With people that had drivers.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
There are guys here in the buildings that have drivers,
guys and girls that have drivers here. Securities. Yeah, there
are people here without naming names, that have folks that
drive them to work and they have their own personal security.
It's crazy.

Speaker 6 (05:08):
The dream.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
Well, it's a bit of a dream for all of us,
isn't it? All Right? It's Valentine in the morning. This

know why I'm getting it. You get cavaliers, I get
Indian Motorcross. I don't like those. I don't follow those.
Why am I getting those? And she was convinced that
maybe her phone was picking up stuff. She even yelled
at her phone and she goes, I don't want Indian
motorcross and I don't like it.

Speaker 5 (06:21):
Did you say you want more Indian motorcresight exactly?

But I got rid of a lot of butts.

Speaker 4 (07:40):
Until it goes back to how it was.

Speaker 2 (07:41):

three hands in the air, like, all right, the rain's coming.
It was really light by us in Orange County, was
it at least so far? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (08:35):
Right, I haven't noticed anything too strong.

Speaker 2 (08:37):

much heavier. And then on the horizon we have another
storm next week as well. Really yeah. And then that
phrase atmospheric river. I guess this is more at Norkel

of atmospheric tributary. So next week we can get something too,

(08:59):

Speaker 2 (09:32):
I don't know what you do for a living and
reach out three one O four three if you ever
had a performance review by your bosses, and it's never good.
I have never had one performance review at this company
that go, you're nailing it, brother, you're nailing it.

Speaker 6 (09:45):
There was good things in there, though.

Speaker 2 (09:47):
Some people hate you, but some more good than that. Yeah, John,
some people don't know who you are.

Speaker 4 (09:56):
There's a likability scale.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
Oh my god, it's the worst.

Speaker 6 (09:59):
And literally it's like, this is how much people like you?

Speaker 2 (10:02):
Yeah, I know, and these are how much people don't
like you?

Speaker 6 (10:05):
I was on it for the first time ever.

Speaker 2 (10:06):
You get some likeability.

Speaker 6 (10:07):
That was the bottom of the very very fairy bottom.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
You have some people that liked you.

Speaker 6 (10:11):
But it was like I was thrilled that I was included.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
Right right, Well you should be. You should be included
with the show. Yeah, because if I'm going down, You're
going down. That's how it works, all right. It is
one of four to three MYFM. How are you though today?

Speaker 8 (10:27):
Three from Sedan's and SUVs to full size trucks. Experience
the incredible power and fuel efficiency with Toyota electrified racings.

Speaker 2 (10:36):
You need to know right now, six twenty two, Good morning.
The Fiery Benefit. How much should it raise? People have
been asking that question right. Fiery Benefit concerts took place
in la last Thursday night, raised over one hundred million
for the people affected by the fires. So the six
hour concert feature artists like Billie Eilish, Katy Perry, Pink
Green Day, Note Out, Doctor Dre, Olivia Rodrigo, and so
many more. Concerts streamed on twenty eight different platforms, broadcast

(10:59):
in iHeartRadio stations around the country. I was lucky enough
to be hosting that with my friend Sisiny across the
entire country. Really didn't even think about that till recently
that at every single iHeartRadio station, Sis and I were
on there. Wow, it's great, it's great. No, that's very
nice to say. It's just wild right that you.

Speaker 6 (11:18):
Didn't realize that because you would have been freaking out.

Speaker 2 (11:21):
Oh, thank you for the vote confidence. This is Valentine
and we're prodocaster from LA. So every dollar raised during
the concert was matched by the La Clippers owner Steve
Bomber and his wife Connie, so that matched him out.
Is included. Oh, it's included in the total there, Okay, well,
that's great. They did that. Though. Authorities in Pennsylvania investigating
the theft of about oh my gosh, it started. Now

(11:43):
I'm finding out about this, just as you're finding out
about this in this newscast. There has been a theft
of one hundred thousand eggs stolen from the back of
a truck. They say the stolen eggs worth about one
hundred and twenty five million dollars worth about forty thousand dollar.
The cost of eggs obviously been skyrocketing. You've seen at
the grocery store rising to nine dollars for a dozen eggs.

(12:06):
Here in California, some people have started stockpiling them, leaving
store shelves empty. They've got apology notes at the story.
Yeah my pavilion, says a note that goes, oh, I'm
sorry man, Well not that I'm sorry man. Yeah, you know, the.

Speaker 5 (12:17):
Eggs are eggs are really going crazy right now. What
do you do with a bunch of stolen eggs like eggs? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (12:24):
Yeah, something to your friends will get ready for Easter,
you know, because I think Easter's gonna be coming up.
People like, I'm not going to spend that money on
an Easter egg if I'm not eating it. Oh, we
have got to roll it else.

Speaker 6 (12:33):
We have to do something else for Easter.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
Yeah, eggs will be You can't because then no one
have eggs to eat. We'll get into that later on, guys.
But what do we replace Easter eggs with for the
Easter egg roll? You're rolling them in the backyard, just
something or hiding and people are finding them and stealing them.
All right, John, we got some music news.

Speaker 5 (12:48):
So the numbers aren't in the Viewership for the Grammys
was actually down this year nine percent compared to last
year fifteen point four million viewers. But here's a weird thing.
Social media presence was up. It was super strong. In fact,
it was strongest year ever. CBS is calling it the
most social television program ever, with one hundred and two
point two million interactions online. I guess that's just how

(13:08):
younger people are watching it these days. A lot of
younger artists are on there. But didn't have my mom's
Spectrum password. I don't know how I would have watched
the Grammys if not watching it online. I'm John Comuci
and that's today's music news, all right.

Speaker 2 (13:18):
Six twenty five, coming up a chance at one hundred
and fifty bucks for free groceries. But today's dumb game.
We're gonna play. The cost is correct? Does this item
cost more or less than a dozen eggs? Calling out
if you want to play? Eight sixty six five four
four my FM?

Speaker 7 (13:33):
Wis you?

Speaker 4 (13:34):
It's the back less my friend?

Speaker 2 (13:41):
Six twenty eight. This is one of four to three
my family. It's Valentin in the morning. Good morning to
you wherever you are. If you're starting your day at home,
getting up, maybe you're working out. There are so many
different ways to start today here in southern California. Some
of you on the road hearing my voice right now
driving in the freeways, careful with this rain. Watched out
for those puddles that develop in the high school lanes,
and then of course in the low speed lane two.

(14:03):
I try and take it right down the center as
you go out to the left of the right too far.
Sometimes on our freeways you'll find big puddles. You hit
those and you can hide your planes. So'll be very careful.
If you're at work right now listening there. Thanks to
net we appreciate it. Fun game. The lines honestly are jammed.
But if they do open up and want you to
try and play eight sixty six five four to four
ifm John the game is called the cost is correct.

Speaker 4 (14:24):
More or less than a dozen eggs? That's what we
want to know.

Speaker 5 (14:27):
We're gonna give you an item, and you're gonna tell
us whether or not that item would be more or
less than the price of a carton of eggs.

Speaker 4 (14:34):
Right now? Where a dozen eggs?

Speaker 7 (14:35):
Rather?

Speaker 2 (14:35):
Okay? So more or less than a dozen eggs? For
give me an example.

Speaker 5 (14:38):
Yeah, if you wanted to rent the movie Sonic the
Hedgehog three on streaming would that cost you more or
less than a dozen of eggs?

Speaker 4 (14:46):
Right now?

Speaker 2 (14:47):
That would cost me more, It would cost you more,
And I think that's a shame.

Speaker 4 (14:53):
Renting the movies about sixteen ninety nine.

Speaker 2 (14:56):
For Sonic the Hedgehog three, I.

Speaker 4 (14:57):
Thought it would be to be honest, dear came out.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
Yeah, my dear god, Exonic the Hedgehog three really good?
Is it really good? I loved it all right? Eight
sixty six five four to FOURFM.

Speaker 1 (15:07):
If you want to play, call Valentine in the Morning
eighty four my FM.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
Six thirty seven. It's Valentine in the Morning. Weather today,
you see it? You know what. We're gonna get more
of it too. Some light, steady rain this morning. Temp's
low sixties could get heavier tonight. There's also a chance
of another big brainstorm coming up next week. Temps in
the low sixties up fifty four Linnwood fifty five, Anaheim
John sitting for Jilly's got the entertainment headlines coming up well.

Speaker 5 (15:32):
Phineas has a statement for all fans that may have
thought his sister Billie Eilish should have won some Grammys.

Speaker 4 (15:37):
I'll tell you what he said. Coming up at six fifty.

Speaker 2 (15:38):
So as we play today's dumb game, I want to
point out something to the game is called the cost
is correct. It should be called the price is right.
But Brian, our producer, is definitely afraid of our legal
department and did not want to call the price is right,
so he's calling it.

Speaker 6 (15:57):
The cost is correct.

Speaker 3 (16:00):
Come on down, the cost is correct.

Speaker 2 (16:03):
All right, let's meet our first contestant. Let's say good
morning to our friend George. Hey, George, how are.

Speaker 9 (16:09):
You hivon Joy?

Speaker 7 (16:11):
Hi?

Speaker 10 (16:12):
John?

Speaker 3 (16:12):
How you guys doing today?

Speaker 6 (16:13):
George?

Speaker 2 (16:14):
So, George too correct. If it's two in a row,
you get to go. That's what we always call this.
You have to get two answers right in a row. Okay, Okay,
now gonna throw a wrinkle. John's gonna be running the game.
I'm sitting back here. But if you want to defer
to me at any point to discuss this or give
an answer, you can. I'm your lifeline. Okay, we're playing
the game together, Johnson, you sure can. I've got to

(16:38):
have a point in life.

Speaker 4 (16:38):
Yeah, he doesn't know them. Okay, all right, George, you
know how this works.

Speaker 5 (16:41):
I'm gonna give you an item and you have to
tell me whether or not that item costs more or
less than a dozen eggs right now, and I'll just
give you this fact to the average cost.

Speaker 4 (16:51):
That's exactly what I'm gonna tell you. Nine bucks a
dozen large.

Speaker 9 (16:56):
Nine god.

Speaker 2 (16:57):
And that's like normal eggs, not free range, organic or
thing like that. The average.

Speaker 11 (17:01):
Hey, you know what happened this week?

Speaker 2 (17:02):
You know what happened?

Speaker 12 (17:03):
You just said somebody stole one hundred thousand dollars go
to eggs.

Speaker 8 (17:06):
Yeah, it was a semi truck full of eggs.

Speaker 4 (17:08):
It crashed in the freeway here in La.

Speaker 2 (17:10):
I saw that week. That was Can you imagine we
we lowered the flag calf staff for that. That was
a bad scene. Yes, it's a lot of bits crash.
All the eggs were going wow.

Speaker 12 (17:20):
All right, yeah, we all had homach.

Speaker 2 (17:22):
Listen, we had a performance review yesterday. You're not helping
us by going off on these tangents.

Speaker 9 (17:26):
Okay, okay, okay, go ahead, John, Here comes your first item. George,
does a quarter pounder with cheese at McDonald's costs more
or less than a dozen eggs.

Speaker 7 (17:40):
He's qust less.

Speaker 4 (17:41):
It does cost less cheese. It's about seven sixty that's
one sixty.

Speaker 13 (17:48):

looking to get better, to change, to be the best

(23:19):
versions of ourselves. So just don't put yourself down with
those performance reviews. I fully believe we can always become better.

Speaker 2 (23:27):

things a little bit.

Speaker 13 (23:43):
So I love it.

Speaker 2 (23:45):
I love it. Betsy, have a great day. Thanks for
sharing time with us.

Speaker 16 (23:48):
Thank you you too.

Speaker 2 (23:49):
Okay, take care? Six forty five. This is Sea. It's unstoppable,
much order text foolstuff. Isn't there a message in that
song unstoppable? Do you grab that message? You gravitate towards
that message yourself. I think it's fantastic, just unstoppable, the

(24:12):
way she sings at the powers she provides at Sea.
It's something that you know you can't get it every
minute of the day. You can't nail it every hour
of the day, and you can't nail it every day
of a calendar year. But you try, You try to
find those unstoppable moments in your life, and maybe today's it.
Maybe today's a day for you that you find those
unstoppable moments that you say, I'm gonna rise up, I'm

(24:32):
gonna be something more than I was yesterday. Is today
that day for you? It could be. I don't know

Well, the iHeartRadio Music Festival just got announced for its
official dates this year. It's going down September nineteenth and
twentieth in Las Vegas. Each year we traditionally see one
of the biggest lineups and music in the lineup this
year hasn't been dropped just yet, but the tickets are
about to go on sale. It's kind of nice to
secure those right away before those demands go up when
the lineup does get announced. So the pre sale for
Capital One called Cardholders rather starts today at ten am,

(26:13):
with general public early access starting tomorrow. And Phineas brother
of Billie Eilish, he's sharing a message to fans of
theirs now Billy. She was nominated for multiple Grammys this year,
including Album of the Year Record of the Year, but
ended up leaving the Grammys empty handed, which is kind
of unusual for them. She wins stuff pretty much every
year she comes out with music well. Phineas is saying

(26:34):
that their fans need to be respectful of those who won.
There's always these debates online of who should have won
what category and fans sticking up for their artists.

Speaker 4 (26:41):
Phineas is saying, stop that. I don't want to see anyone.

Speaker 5 (26:44):
With a photo of him or Billy as their profile
pick getting in fights with other artists fans. Sections He said,
be at peace and just send congrats to all winners.

Speaker 4 (26:53):
And I love that.

Speaker 5 (26:53):
What a class act from John Camuci filled in for
Joe with their entertainment headlines.

Speaker 2 (26:57):
There's a text that came in a few minutes ago.
I want to read it to you. It says I
got for Jimmy Dean egg and sausage breakfast cups for
ninety nine cents each yesterday. Each cup contains two real eggs.
I felt like a rob the place. I wonder where
that was that they got that? And does it contain
two real eggs that price? I don't know all right,
six fifty two Battle of Sex is coming up. You

(27:17):
want to play? You call us eight six six by
four four MYFM. I'm nervous right now and I feel
like with our show it's always important to be honest,
because that's kind of the show. We are, right. I'm
nervous because I look down I see Bruno Mars. Now
I'm so triggered. Anytime I see Berno Mars, I just
get nervous. This is not that song. This is a
great song. It's not the song that people are talking about.

(27:39):
But still it's very triggering. Mars. That's what I like.

Speaker 7 (27:44):

I feel like we all have an answer to this question.
Is there an invisible weight on your shoulders that other
people don't see? What are the responsibilities tasks that weigh
on you that you never you never honestly talk about
people don't see. I'm really honest. I mean, you're really
honest about this, and anonymous if you want at three
one oh four three, But what's the load that you're

Speaker 2 (29:53):
So was there a tiger in that or not a
tiger like he's imagining the tiger? I forget. I don't
know if I finished. I think, do you think he
had a tiger but like a real tiger in the boat?
I know I watched it. I just don't really remember
what happened.

Speaker 18 (30:08):
With that one.

Speaker 2 (30:08):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 5 (30:09):
Really rich named the name finished the name of the
gourmet cat food brand. Fancy blank.

Speaker 2 (30:18):
It's a feat yes, right, by the way you would
be don't ruin it. At some point you're allowed to

that's fine. Going with the wind? What are you doing?
Don't tell me the ending? Who win? If that one?
All right? Ladies up two to one? You can win

Speaker 6 (30:42):
Guess?

Speaker 2 (30:42):
Woopy Goldberg joined What TV Talk Show in two thousand

As you exit the stage, this moment is entirely yours.

Speaker 4 (31:37):
I just want to say home, my wife has a
good day at work.

Speaker 12 (31:39):
I tried, and can I be on the Christmas card list?

Speaker 2 (31:44):
The Valentine in the Morning Family Christmas card list? Of course?

Speaker 16 (31:47):

Speaker 2 (31:50):

I mean that's sun at the right past. We're coming
over Friday night.

Speaker 6 (32:13):
Gotta be fun.

Speaker 2 (32:14):
Hey, later on this hour. We've been getting light and
steady rain this morning, but another storm is headed towards
southern California. We're going to tell you about that in
three things you need.

Speaker 8 (32:23):
To know from sedan's and SUV's to full sized trucks,
experience the incredible power and fuel efficiency with Toyota Electrify racings.

Speaker 2 (32:31):
You need to know right now, seven eighteen, it's valence
had in the morning. This is one of four to
three MIFM so a storm moved into southern California overnight,
bringing light and steady rain to most areas. More's on
the way after the rain taper's off. Experts say we
will get a twenty four hour break before another storm
comes in tomorrow afternoon. Of course, there's concern about mudslides

(32:51):
and areas where the recent fires stripped the hills of vegetation,
which makes it more vulnerable to debris flow. And I'll
say University system has partnered with the company open Ai
to bring an artificial intelligence program to half a million
students across twenty three campuses. The programs called chat GPT

(33:11):
edu and the goals to teach students' AI skills that
will match demands of the job market. Teachers at these
schools will also have access to AI powered research tools
and teaching aids.

Speaker 5 (33:24):
H what do you think of, John, You're just thinking
if you try to cheat, it sounds like they're gonna
have ways to police that.

Speaker 2 (33:29):
Oh, so you think this is all best stop and
kids from cheating or something. I think that's played into
it probably. I think this is really about how to
use AI as you go forward. But a lot of
these kids probably know how to use it already. Yeah,
you know they're already. They're smarter than teachers more than likely.
All right, what do we got for music news?

Speaker 5 (33:45):
Well, Suprena Carpenter is fresh off her first Grammy win
and she just announced some new music. We got a
deluxe version of her album Short and Sweet coming out.
It's gonna have five new tracks, including a remix of
Please Please Please with Dolly Parton. I feel like Dolly
Parton does not stop. So that album's going to set
to drop just in time for Valentine's Day next Friday.

Speaker 4 (34:03):
I'm John Kamuci. That's what's Today's Music.

Speaker 2 (34:05):
News seven twenty it is Valentine in the morning. Is
there an invisible weight on your shoulders that other people
don't see? What are the responsibilities that you have in
tasks that weigh on you in a daily basis that
you never talk about. People at work may not know it.
Luckily for you, most of the weight on my shoulders,
I tell you, I share it with all of you.

(34:25):
You're like, could you hide some of that? Could you
pull back on that? But what is that invisible weight
that you have?

Speaker 12 (34:33):
That's my heart?

Speaker 2 (34:41):
Seven twenty three, It's one of four to three my
fam It's Valentine in the morning, right for you, what's
the invisible weight that you carry on your shoulders?

Speaker 7 (34:48):
I guess it's like working full time, my wife, working
full time, going home, then being a dad to three kids,
and it's like, some days I feel like I'm successful
at work, some days I feel like I'm successful.

Speaker 6 (35:00):
The dad very rarely fits almost.

Speaker 2 (35:03):
That is such a powerful statement, and I'm glad you
said that because there's a lot of people that feel
that exact same way. Your success at work sometimes comes,
you know, at the cost of home and vice versa,
and it's it's very rare that you can find yourself
on any given day. I mean, all right, work was great,
home was great. I nailed an all fronts and being

(35:23):
that perfect parent is such a struggle for so many
people and it's something you'll never achieve.

Speaker 6 (35:27):
Yesterday I felt like a loser after I left here
at work.

Speaker 2 (35:29):
That was our performance review.

Speaker 6 (35:31):
I had right do my kids.

Speaker 2 (35:34):
But can I tell you, like the most important thing though,
and this is just a little older than you, And
it's not like I know more. I've just lived more.
I always feel like I should say that. I said
to John too. I never want to come across as like, oh,
it's Marty parents thinks he knows everything. No I don't.
You guys are probably smarter than me, no more than me.
But I've lived more than you, and sometimes living more
just gives you more. And the most important thing are
those kids. This place doesn't matter. Yes, it pays the

(35:56):
bills all day, have to do things, but your work
here for your kids to give them what you know
you want to give them. In the lights, they want stuff,
So they're the most important that your family and the kids.
Always keep that in mind. Thank you, though, hig Anonymous.

Speaker 12 (36:08):
How are you I'm good. How are you?

Speaker 2 (36:11):
We're good. What's that invisible weight that you carry on
your shoulders?

Speaker 12 (36:16):
The invisible weight I carry is that I actually am
going through fertility treatments and trying to conceive our third
child for the past two years, after having got to
my kids in the car now after having multiple pregnancy losses.
So I feel like it's a weight that I carry
that nobody sees unless I share it with them. But

(36:39):
it's something that I have to, you know, go to
work full time every day, I have to take care
of my kids every day, right while I'm being injected
with hormones, going to doctor's appointment, experiencing tegnancy losses, having surgeries.

Speaker 2 (36:53):
That it's not something you want to bring up at
the Monday meeting at the office, right. Do you have
some close friends that you shared that with? Do you
have some close friends at the office you shared it with?

Speaker 12 (37:05):
Yes, I do. I have some people at work that
know what I'm going through, and then basicly some close
family and friends just to help me get through at all.

Speaker 2 (37:15):
And I think that's like that to me is one
of those important things. If you have somebody you can
talk to and share these things with. Because that weight
upon your shoulders and we all have something, right, Like,
everybody has something that you're carrying the weight upon their shoulders.
When you can share that with somebody else, somebody who
cares about you, I really honestly feel that weight becomes less.
It's still there. It's not going to go a way.

(37:35):
You know, my wife I went through IVF, so I
know what you're talking about. It's not going to go away,
but it gets a little bit easier.

Speaker 12 (37:41):
I think I agree, And I truly like live by
the motto like just be kind because you really don't
know what people are going through. Sure, yeah, yeah, so
for the people that I don't know, but yes, I
do think it's really important to keep that circle of
friend close to you. And there's obviously going to be
the people that you open up to and you kind
of regret it because they say like the wrong thing,

(38:02):
but then you know that you know, they're just not
people that you could talk to about this. So it's
just a big weight on my shoulders every day. It's
a lot of you know, I feel like, you know,
I feel guilty. I feel like I'm letting like my
husband down and my family down.

Speaker 2 (38:14):
Oh my god, No, No, you're not letting anybody down.
Don't ever think that. What are you talking about? Like
trying to conceive if you're thinking that, or just your
daily activities? What are you talking about?

Speaker 12 (38:24):
I actually feel like my daily activities I could do.
I feel like I just, you know, I'm just always
like on on on, I'm always mom, always teacher, always
things like that. But just like you know, having all
these losses, I just feel like something's wrong with me.
This is like this big, huge way to carry that.
I feel guilty.

Speaker 2 (38:45):
No, don't ever feel that. That's not true. You've got
to get that out of your head.

Speaker 12 (38:49):
Okay, thank you.

Speaker 2 (38:50):
I don't think I've solved your problem. I don't want
to pretend like that. You a radio show that means
a lot to me, Well, it costs any time, because
you know, there are people that are listening to you
right now are going through the exact same thing, and
you know that, and you got some cute kids there
with you too.

Speaker 12 (39:04):
It sounds like, yes, I'm very grateful for the two
I have. I know that some don't have any, so
I'm so grateful. But you know, I feel like everyone
deserves to have the family that they envision for themselves
and that's just what we're working for. We really want
more another one.

Speaker 2 (39:21):
So well, we'll keep you in our prayers, so you
hang in there orcaane call anytime.

Speaker 12 (39:25):
Thank you, Thank you so much for your kind words.
I feel a lot better and I really appreciate you guys.
And we listen to every morning, me and my kids
on the way to school.

Speaker 2 (39:33):
Love it, love it. Keep doing that, you guys, have
a great day, right, Thank you you too. Okay, you
know what I should say, because this topic is getting
some huge response in our text on and stuff like that.
I want you for like your teenager and you're driving
going hey, this is kind of a weird topic. Maybe
we don't talk about stuff like this in the car
and stuff. And I'm always aware if you have kids
in the car and stuff. But I want teens and

(39:54):
your kids be able to talk to their parents too.
Is there something that's kind of weighing you down. You
can be a teenager and something's weighing you down at
school or weighing you down as a kid, and you
can always talk to somebody about that. Today ex Spelling
Tine in the morning at three one oh four to
three seven thirty four. The weather today gets a light
city rain this morning, tamps in the sixties fifty four,

(40:14):
Peka rivera fifty five long beach. Another storm coming in tomorrow,
I think as well, maybe tonight tomorrow, and then possibly
know the storm next week as well. John's got some
entertainment headlines coming up.

Speaker 4 (40:25):
I will say people have been speculating about this.

Speaker 5 (40:27):
Will a reporter just straight up ask Travis Kelsey if
he plans on proposing to Taylor Swift at the Super
Bowl on Sunday.

Speaker 4 (40:33):
And he gave an answer.

Speaker 5 (40:35):
I'll tell you what he said. Coming up at seven fifty, John,
what is the invisible weight that you carry around? I'd
say this year, my mom receives some unfortunate health news,
so I feel like trying to balance that within the
family and not get.

Speaker 4 (40:48):
Too streaked out about it.

Speaker 5 (40:50):
He's kind of wait on me a little bit this year,
which you haven't shared with us until just now. No,
I'm I'm not good at sharing that kind of stuff,
to be honest. I feel like I don't like when
people see I guess, like I don't like the pity
part of it, you know what I mean, Like it
makes me uncomfortable It's not that I don't want people
to know what's going on, but it's just it's hard
to share.

Speaker 2 (41:08):
I'd rather keep it tight to the best I respect it.
I mean, you know, you share what you want to
share in this show, but I always feel like that
sharing like that doesn't necessarily need pity back from somebody else. Yeah,
but it does need understanding, you know. I mean, you
hear what I talk about my mom all the time.

Speaker 4 (41:26):
And that helps, to be honest, It really really does.

Speaker 5 (41:29):
I think I've always struggled with sharing tight like information
that's close to the chest when not asked about it,
you know what I mean. Like it's I've just been
so uncomfortable with that. I don't know, I don't know
what it is. Stuff I'm trying to work through.

Speaker 2 (41:39):
You know, if you and we'll talk more off the air,
but if you hang around with me more, you'll get
to the point where you just overshare.

Speaker 4 (41:45):
It really does help, Honestly, I'm being honest about that.
It really does help.

Speaker 5 (41:49):
Seeing you feel so comfortable just sharing with us and
walking into the room and just like having us all
kind of journey together and that grief that you go
through sometimes or sometimes it's positive stuff with the family.

Speaker 2 (42:00):
And I took a picture last night the memory care
center my mom has laid on said Alzheimer's and the
memory care center we're blessed, just down the street, six
minutes away. She's the past couple of nights and maybe
somebody else can talk to me about this past couple nights.
She just wanted to hold my hand, and she just
like I was going, she grabbed my hand. And she's
not really a touchy filly person like that. Yeah, and
she just held my hand last night. She held my

(42:21):
hand to the point worked out uncomfortable. You know, when
you're holding somebody's hand too long, You're like, I'm kind
of cramp it up. But I took a picture of
her two hands together, and I just I just wanted
to keep that. Hey, looks, what's the invisible weight on
your shoulder?

Speaker 14 (42:34):
The visible weight is being a cheerleader, being in school
and trying to get into a high school.

Speaker 2 (42:39):
Oh, trying to get into a high school. So you're
trying for a certain high school. Maybe it's private or.

Speaker 14 (42:44):
Something like that, or yeah it's a private school.

Speaker 2 (42:46):
Okay, well good for you. How old are you?

Speaker 1 (42:49):
By the way, I'm thirteen thirteen.

Speaker 2 (42:51):
Yeah, and homework is is pretty hard right now?

Speaker 14 (42:53):
Yeah, it is.

Speaker 2 (42:54):
Yeah, I will tell you that that stuff doesn't last forever.
And you try to get into a high school, a
high school that you want, and that freshman year can
be very tough for a lot of kids. It can
very tough. And I watched how tough it was for
my son in particular, and he was doing soccer, he
was on the football team, he had his travel team,

(43:14):
he had his studies, and then you're in a whole
new environment. Freshman year can be tough and you're not
there yet. You're trying for that and you're kind of
knocking on that door. But it doesn't last forever. And
that's that's the thing that maybe that helps the weight
on your shoulder, that these are just waves that are
coming in. But it does calm down, it will get easier.

Speaker 14 (43:33):
What's good, you know? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (43:35):
What do you do for fun for yourself?

Speaker 14 (43:38):
Well, I'm a competitive cheerleader, so I like to go
and like tumble and do flips and stuff, right, but
I also like to draw and like be creative and stuff.

Speaker 2 (43:49):
Can you do a favor? Can we feature some of
your art on our Instagram? Oh, sure, would you be
able to do that, like slide into our DMS at
Balance in the morning and let's just celebrate you. Let's
put the the weight on your shoulders to the side
of for a second and celebrate you as an artist.
You want to do that? Yeah, can you send us
like one of your favorite pieces and we'll put it
up there. Yeah, okay, and then everyone will see it.
All right, okay, are you good?

Speaker 14 (44:12):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (44:13):
Oh okay, Well all right, I love the cop and dance.

Speaker 14 (44:18):
That's okay.

Speaker 2 (44:20):
I bet it's fantastic. Art is something that can be
a really good creative outlet for people and can help
you destress in certain respects. I think.

Speaker 14 (44:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (44:29):
Well, listen, have a great day at school.

Speaker 3 (44:30):
Okay, thank you, have a good day.

Speaker 10 (44:33):
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (44:34):
Hi. Okay, thanks loox, thank you.

Speaker 2 (44:38):
Eight sixty six by four to FOURFM.

Speaker 6 (44:40):
Did you just ask us thirteen year old to slide
into your DMS?

Speaker 4 (44:43):
No?

Speaker 2 (44:43):
Yes, no, but we context. I'm just writing it down
for the next performance review shot baron good luck Babes
one of four to three. My fam, it is Balance
out in the morning.

Speaker 16 (44:56):
This fine, It's cool.

Speaker 2 (45:03):
Stop anybody else do that when that song plays?

Speaker 7 (45:09):
Now?

Speaker 2 (45:09):
Do you do that like in the card listen to it.
We won't wah wah wah oh it sounds like Charlie
Brown wah wah wah sev forty two one of four
to three, My fam, it is Valancie in the morning.
These texts you guys are sending in are amazing, and
I don't want it to be like Debbi Danna, We're
all like, wow, wit why. But I think the ability
to tell somebody else about invisible weight on your shoulders,

(45:30):
the load that you're carrying around, so to speak, that's
an important thing. That's a really good thing.

Speaker 5 (45:35):
And they do come in all different shapes and sizes,
Like we're getting some texts here and this one says,
to be honest, I'm trying to be an actor and
balancing my dream job with the reality of rent bills
and the coffee I can't stop buying is really killing me.
This one says, I'm literally overthinking a conversation from three
days ago when a waiter told me to enjoy my
meal and I said you too.

Speaker 4 (45:53):
I genuinely mean it.

Speaker 2 (45:54):
I think about that stuff how many times when people
do that, like have to say a flight you too,
But I'm not flying anywhere. I say I love you
to so many different telemarketers accidentally, you know, like all right,
take care.

Speaker 5 (46:05):
Love you what And this one says my wife is
super hot. I don't think people get the insecurity you
have to walk around with. And when that's the case, sometimes.

Speaker 2 (46:13):
Oh I get that. Yeah, I could have sent that text.
I was gonna say that sounds like you were say
that about wife, but your wife is beautiful too. Yeah,
we have beautiful wives and we're like guys that married
above our pay grade. We walk around with insecurity on
our shoulders at all times.

Speaker 5 (46:28):
You know.

Speaker 7 (46:28):
People will literally post on my Instagram comments of wow,
she's too good.

Speaker 2 (46:32):
For you and like it's just a nice text coming
and I want to read you. Thank you, John. I
feel the same way. I don't like the share stuff
close to the heart does put a lot of pressure
on you. Sometimes it's even hard to breathe. And glad
somebody feels the same as I do. Much love to you,
jac I'm also not a share as well. Happy Wellness Wednesday.
Oh did we start something? Yeah? Or is that already established?

(46:54):
What a wonderful question to bring awareness to people. I
just wanted to give the woman on the call a
hug great words for her and shows how powerful words
can be. I'm a licensed therapist and I hope people
choose to do something for themselves. Love all you guys
this one, Hey, does peak know that the listeners love
you so much that they rep on their ride. Take that,

(47:14):
mister performance review. We had a performance here from our
boss yesterday. There's a lot of great text company and
a lot of you are carrying a lot of weight
on your shoulders. No, even if I didn't read your text,
we are seeing them and we are hearing you. So
thanks for reaching out. I do appreciate that. Seven forty four.
It's one of four to three MYFM. This is Valence
out in the morning.

Speaker 1 (47:33):
One O four to three my FM. Here's what's coming
up in entertainment headlines.

Speaker 5 (47:39):
I mean, believe it or not, Super Bowl tickets have
actually gone down this year. It's the most affordable in
recent years. We'll see if you think the prices are
cheap enough to make you consider it, though, I'll tell
you after traffic one O four.

Speaker 1 (47:49):
To three my FM Entertainment headlines.

Speaker 5 (47:53):
So Travis Kelsey was at a press conference ahead of
the Big Game this Sunday. The Super Bowl and one
of the reporters just really for it, straight up aass
Travis if he has any plans to propose to Taylor
Swift after the game on Sunday night, and Travis said,
wouldn't you like to know?

Speaker 4 (48:09):
And just smiled at the camera.

Speaker 5 (48:11):
Of course he's not gonna say, but I'm kind of
shocked that that question was even asked.

Speaker 4 (48:15):
But I will say a lot of people are thinking it.

Speaker 5 (48:16):
It's been all over the internets, and not that it's
our business, but I don't think it's gonna happen really either.

Speaker 4 (48:21):
And speaking of the super Bowl.

Speaker 5 (48:23):
If you've been waiting to snag some Super Bowl tickets
at some point in your life, this honestly could be
the week to do it.

Speaker 4 (48:29):
The prices for seats at the Super.

Speaker 5 (48:31):
Bowl have plummeted nearly sixty percent in the last week.
The cheapest seats are now available on different sites for
the lowest price of still and fifty two dollars per ticket.

Speaker 4 (48:42):
But that is the cheapest that it's been in years.

Speaker 5 (48:44):
A week ago, some fifty yard line seats we're going
for fifty six grand. Now they're only going for twenty three,
which is still insane. But significantly lower, but experts are
predicting the lowest prices will actually hit this Wednesday and
game day itself, so compared to last year, the ticket
prices are supposed to be some of the most affordable
in recent Super Bowl histories. If you want to make

(49:05):
that bucket list happen for you, this might be the
year to do it. It looks like less people care
when the same teams are in the Super Bowl. I'm
John Cakmuci filling in for Jill with your entertainment headlines.

Speaker 2 (49:14):
All right, seven fifty two, it's Valentine in the morning.
This one O four to three mifm Battle of Sex
is coming up. You want to play? You call us
eight six six fy four four mifm. Also happy he
is up next? Three one oh four three is our
text line. This next song is that ninety eight came
out right? Yes, sir, this is the Bramp Pramp song.
And you may not be able to guess it yet,
just by that right there. It's a fun game here,

(49:34):
right Pramp. You'll get it, see now, I matten there
it is. I'm just mad I didn't get that. You
should have gotten that. Everybody sing along?

Speaker 4 (49:52):
Cool?

Speaker 2 (49:58):
Is this an er performance review. You can do to
your car. It's so much fun. Let's go. Oh, now
you're on your own.

Speaker 4 (50:10):
Good luck.

Speaker 2 (50:12):
Three one oh four three. Happy news. If you got
any do reach out. Three one oh four three. It's
Valentine in the morning. This is Alice DJ sounds called
better Off below.

Speaker 13 (50:32):
Its came the Happy News.

Speaker 2 (50:34):
I'm sometime and the mining.

Speaker 13 (50:38):
My happy news is that my daughter Audrey published her
first article with the Spartan News at Michigan State.

Speaker 2 (50:44):
Oh, look at that. We got ourselves a journalist.

Speaker 12 (50:49):
Yes, and it's her first year, so it's pretty amazing.

Speaker 2 (50:52):
Wow, she got published with the local school newspaper in
her first year.

Speaker 13 (50:56):
Yes, she covered the women's tennis team.

Speaker 2 (50:59):
Oh and are they good?

Speaker 12 (51:00):
Yes?

Speaker 13 (51:00):
Yes, the pick down their foes, as she says, Eastern
Michigan and Western Michigan.

Speaker 2 (51:06):
Has she been writing all her life?

Speaker 13 (51:08):
Yes, she wants to be a sports journalist and as
a as a woman, it's very difficult to get into
and so I'm just very excited for her.

Speaker 2 (51:16):
Well, it is getting a lot easier, which is rightly so,
so uh hopefully now is the time for her to
jump in.

Speaker 12 (51:22):
Yes, definitely, that's so cool.

Speaker 2 (51:24):
And what do you do, Mom, What do you do
for a living?

Speaker 12 (51:26):
I work at cal State Long Beach with a College
of Business.

Speaker 4 (51:28):
Hie, all right, the Sharks, now you are right.

Speaker 13 (51:32):
Uh, yes, we're the Sharks. But I'm still a dirt bag.

Speaker 4 (51:35):
Yeah, my mom refuses to give that up, you dirt bag.

Speaker 2 (51:38):
I'm sorry, little explanation please for the rest of us.
I mean, I've lived in California a long time. I
didn't know cal State Long Beach was known as the
dirt Bags.

Speaker 13 (51:45):
Yes, our baseball team is the dirt bag got it.

Speaker 2 (51:49):
Okay, so everyone's a dirt bag state. It's a long beach. Yes,
all right, your dirt bag. Tell your sport Congratulations.

Speaker 13 (52:00):
Thank you, Go Green, go White, go dirt.

Speaker 15 (52:05):
Really wish you all the calif girls can't.

Speaker 2 (52:09):
Puris you dog my fam? It is Valencine in the morning.
It's eight o weight. Good morning to you. Today's Wednesday,
February fifth. Oh dude, do we test that we did
in the performance reer?

Speaker 18 (52:20):
No?

Speaker 6 (52:20):
I did test it myself.

Speaker 2 (52:21):
And how did hemp day come back?

Speaker 10 (52:22):
Now?

Speaker 4 (52:24):
It was at an all time high.

Speaker 2 (52:25):
People, That was like the number one thing in our
performance review. People love when John Camuci says hump day it.

Speaker 4 (52:31):
Depends what day of the week you test them. If
it's a Wednesday, it's an all time high.

Speaker 2 (52:34):
Oh that checks out, all right. Coming up later on
this hour, what did you see at somebody's house? It
made you never ever visit them again? Text in at
three one oh four three.

Speaker 5 (52:42):
We got this text in here this morning that kind
of sparked us off. And they said, I went to
my friend's house for dinner last night, and they legit
had a place set at the table for their dog.

Speaker 4 (52:53):
She said, do people actually do this? I'm sorry, I
I can't do it. That's too much. I'm not going
back to their house after this.

Speaker 2 (52:58):
We I mean, we let the dog get up in
the counter sometimes for like a pup cup or something,
but we don't have a place set for them. We
don't do that. We did as a kid growing up,
we had a place always set for the Holy Ghost.
So stop it. I'm not kidding.

Speaker 6 (53:11):
Oh sorry, I don't mean to laugh.

Speaker 3 (53:13):
That's yes, No, I think you were laughing that food
down for the Holy ghost.

Speaker 2 (53:18):
Well, mom would always have a plate for the Holy
Ghost at the dinner table. Listen, let me tell the story. So,
if you are a Catholic, you understand it's your Chritian.
Understand it's so Blessed Trinity, the father son Holy Ghost.
So mom would have a plate for the Holy Ghost.
Sometimes this food on it, sometimes there wasn't. And let
me tell you, son, the day that I got up
to go to the bathroom, then came back to the

(53:39):
table and saw a few bites gone out of that food.
I believe I was right there. But she gets some
oud at me, like it is the Holy Ghost going
to eat that? Would you just eat your food? Stop
doing that? It's for the Holy Ghost? Wow, Yes, that's
the Irish Catholic family had a plate set for the
Holy Ghost at dinner time.

Speaker 4 (53:57):
It's that out of the dog Brian you pick.

Speaker 3 (54:00):
Oh, Holy Ghost is welcome at my dinner table anytime?

Speaker 2 (54:03):
Oh yeah, that was coming across three one oh four three.
That's her text line. Here we go. It is a
battle of the sexes reps of the Menace in as Mark,
he livestsens Stakrita works as a lap associate, enjoys theme
parks with the family. Mark what's going on, buddy?

Speaker 7 (54:17):
Hey, what's what's up?

Speaker 6 (54:19):
Well, dude?

Speaker 4 (54:20):
And representing the ladies. Her name is Anna. She's from Pasadena.

Speaker 5 (54:24):
She's a counseling professor and enjoys hanging back to the
pool with her son.

Speaker 2 (54:28):
Let's hear for Aanna, what's going on? Anna?

Speaker 12 (54:31):
Hello?

Speaker 11 (54:31):
Hello morning, Hello, Hello morning.

Speaker 2 (54:34):
Here's how it works, Anna, I'm gonna ask you a
few questions. Mark. Jill's not here, so John will be
asking you the questions best at the three wins. If
we're stle tied the end of regulation, we go to
a not so tough tiebreaker question. If you're new to
our show, play a long, fun little game, try and
guess the answers in the car yourself. The song I
Don't Want to Be by Gavin de Gras was used

(54:54):
as a theme song during the first four seasons of
What TV Show Think. Anna, Oh, that's not a bad
guess was actually one tree Hill.

Speaker 12 (55:08):
Oh it's close, all right?

Speaker 4 (55:10):
Mark, You're not you when You're hungry is a slogan
for what Chocolate Candy Sneakers. Yeah, that's right.

Speaker 2 (55:18):
The current score is one nothing. Guys who want to
Grammy for Best Dance Recording for her single.

Speaker 1 (55:24):
Toxic Britney spears.

Speaker 2 (55:28):
Yeah, it's my Britney impressions really good?

Speaker 4 (55:31):
Hey, Mark, back to you here?

Speaker 5 (55:32):
What Rapper is featured on Taylor Swift's song bad Bloodles
God Bless You.

Speaker 2 (55:40):
Brian Ghost is with us?

Speaker 4 (55:42):
Is it a post malone? Not plus malone? It was
Kendrick Lamar.

Speaker 2 (55:47):
My current score is one to one. How do you
know a radio show is live because the host sneeze
is the microphone? All right?

Speaker 18 (55:55):
Here we go.

Speaker 2 (55:57):
Launched in two thousand and nine. What was the first
cryptocurrency ever created? Anna?

Speaker 12 (56:11):
Bsp?

Speaker 2 (56:13):
Bitcoin? Bitcoin would have been the answer? Have you ever
heard of bitcoin?

Speaker 10 (56:18):
I didn't remember?

Speaker 5 (56:19):
Mark, you can win this thing right here? Katie Perry
is in a relationship with what actor?

Speaker 4 (56:27):
Oh no, Orlando Bloom?

Speaker 2 (56:36):
All right? That means we go to a not so
tough tie breaker question. Holler at your name. The answer
name will be your buzzer. Wait until Brian Burton finishes
asking the question before you buzz in.

Speaker 3 (56:45):
What do you miss when Jill is not a part
of the show, Anna, Anna, go ahead?

Speaker 12 (56:53):
I missed her beautiful voice.

Speaker 2 (56:55):
We used AI one time to recreate it. It didn't
sound that bad. You got spark was there, but it
wasn't that bad.

Speaker 4 (57:01):
The light of Jill's voice was missus.

Speaker 2 (57:02):
Did we ever tell her we did that? We did
she was not happy.

Speaker 6 (57:05):
Oh congratulations.

Speaker 5 (57:07):
You want to battle up the sexist championship certificate posted
on social use to hashtag downtime in the morning and share.

Speaker 6 (57:12):
It with some pride.

Speaker 2 (57:14):
Awesome, Thank you welcome.

Speaker 5 (57:16):
Also want a pair of tickets to see the Katy

Speaker 2 (57:33):
Nice job you too, Hey Mark, listeners, you exit the stage.
This moment is entirely yours. You take it away.

Speaker 13 (57:41):
Yeah, thanks for letting me play.

Speaker 12 (57:42):
I love your radio station.

Speaker 4 (57:44):
Can I greet some friends?

Speaker 2 (57:46):
Yes, greet them, my friend, this is the greeting moment.

Speaker 12 (57:50):
I'm gonna say hi to my wife first, and then
kids and all the guys from Kaiser and finally my
basketball group, Glendale Basketball Group.

Speaker 2 (58:00):
Well greetings and salutations, my friend. They've been achieved. Well done.

Speaker 6 (58:07):
You too.

Speaker 2 (58:07):
Top of the morning too.

Speaker 10 (58:09):
I like that.

Speaker 2 (58:10):
Can I greet some people? Should we change it from
shout outs to greet people? Let's see if that would work.
Coming up, Three things you need to know. The artists
behind the massive fiery benefit concerts held in la last week.
They're getting together. They're going to do something else to
raise some fund So what is next will tell you
in Three things.

Speaker 8 (58:26):
You need to know From sedan's and SUV's to full
size trucks, experience the incredible power and fuel efficiency with
Toyota electrifyed Three.

Speaker 1 (58:35):
Things you need to know right now.

Speaker 2 (58:37):
Uri, if you're good with math, standby. I might need
your help a little math problem on the air. But
I think I figured something out. I'm very curious about
it first. So la USC officials have laid out of
time life for getting some of the students displaced by
wildfires back on campus. Part of the plan involves rebuilding
schools from the ground up. How is that going to take?
This includes Palisades High School, Palisades Elementary, and Marquez mac

(59:00):
That Elementary. LAUSD Superintendent Alberta Carbarlo says the district will
allocate seven hundred and twenty five million for the effort.
Several schools also destroyed in the Eton fire, Let's not
forget and the Pasadena Unified School District says they'll rebuild
those schools, but a timeline for that has not been announced.
All right, this happened in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Authorities

(59:23):
in Pennsylvania. I know it's okay, Hang on. Thoritya's in
Pennsylvania are investigating the theft of about one hundred thousand
eggs that were stolen from the back of a truck.
They say the stolen eggs are worth forty thousand dollars. Now,
the cost of eggs skyrocking nine dollars for a dozen
eggs here in California, some people have started stockpiling them,
leaving the store shells empty. Now here's the math problem.

(59:45):
One hundred thousand eggs were stolen at a cost of
forty grand, so that comes to about forty cents per egg. Now,
if you multiply that times twelve, you should get a
dozen eggs. Right, Forty times twelve is four eighty cents.
So if they're paying four eighty for a dozen eggs,
even with a little bit of a markup in Pennsylvania,
why are we paying nine bucks?

Speaker 7 (01:00:06):
I know they are most expensive here for us in California.
Don't tell me. It's the winter blend, just like the gas.
Is it the winter blend of the eggs, just like
they tell us of the gas prices. It's a different blend, John,
what do you have for music news?

Speaker 5 (01:00:20):
Well, this upcoming new music Friday, there's a new opportunity
to raise some money for wildfire relief. There's gonna be
this ninety track compilation album featuring a ton of artists
that's gonna drop. And this is like artists across different
genres death Cab for qd R, Em mac de Marco,
monest Mouse. There's gonna be a bunch of new songs, covers,
live versions, stuff like that on there.

Speaker 4 (01:00:39):
But here's the thing.

Speaker 5 (01:00:40):
It's only going to be available for twenty four hours
and all that money is going to go to the
benefit the victims of the LA wildfires. So we'll have
more details on that when it drops this Friday. I'm
John Kamuci. That's Daday's music News.

Speaker 2 (01:00:52):
All Right's eight twenty three, It's Valentine in the morning.
What did you see at somebody's house that made you
never want to visit them again? Text in three one
oh four to three said I went to.

Speaker 5 (01:01:00):
A coworker's house and all the cats were fed on
the same counter that they cooked dinner on.

Speaker 4 (01:01:05):
Brushed me out. I will never be going back.

Speaker 2 (01:01:07):
All the cats climbed up on the counter.

Speaker 4 (01:01:09):
Yeah, that doesn't bother me.

Speaker 2 (01:01:10):
Cats can climb up on anything, but to put their
food up there, it doesn't bother you. No, Oh, guess
whose house I'm not going to dinner out the cats
on eight sixty six by four or four, my feminist
balts in the morning. Calm down, Calm down, mose leidy
go mas, calm down. One of four three MI fans
balent in that morning made the mistake of singing along

(01:01:31):
to that at my house one time and my wife
was in the kitchen. Can't do that. Calm down any right,
Calm down. Bro show, Bro Show, Bro Show. Jill's not here.
If you're regular to our show, you know that. If
you're new to our show, Jill is our friend who
hosts the show with us. Just outstick today, but she'll
be back soon, I assume. So whenever she's out here,

(01:01:51):
it turns into the Bro Show. And it's just it's
so much testosterone probably coming through your radio right now.

Speaker 6 (01:01:56):
It's it.

Speaker 2 (01:01:57):
Yeah, I think it is. I mean, we're just like
bros man manly man. Yet in here, let's like this
thing uh, it's well Ferrel married, by the way, is
he married? Yes? Okay, I well I just thought him
and Reese were so cute in that movie.

Speaker 6 (01:02:12):
That's a movie. Okay, I know, not really, I know.

Speaker 2 (01:02:15):
But I shipped that you're just super cute. That's all
I'm saying. All Right, Morgan, good morning. How are you
doing today? I'm doing pretty well.

Speaker 13 (01:02:25):
How are you doing?

Speaker 2 (01:02:25):
We're doing all right. So you go over somebody's house,
you see something you never want to visit again. What
did you see?

Speaker 11 (01:02:32):
We were forced to put grocery bags over our shoes
so you couldn't tract her onto tile.

Speaker 2 (01:02:40):
So then ask you to take the shoes off. Was
more put grocery bags over your shoes.

Speaker 12 (01:02:45):
Uh?

Speaker 11 (01:02:45):
No, she has a thing against she and she didn't
want to track her into our house.

Speaker 2 (01:02:51):
So wait, I know I got the feed. But so
she doesn't want dirt in the house. That's where they
cover up the shoes. But she also doesn't like people's feet,
like in the socks walking around there.

Speaker 11 (01:03:01):
Yeah, she has a weird thing against me. And it
was just she was like, yeah, no, don't take off
your shoe, just put the bags over so you don't
bring dirt.

Speaker 7 (01:03:08):
In.

Speaker 2 (01:03:08):
Oh my god, Now does she have bags over her feet?

Speaker 11 (01:03:12):
Yeah, she has a whole machine that she puts over like,
she puts her shoe into it and it puts a
little like cover over the.

Speaker 12 (01:03:18):
Bottom of her shoe.

Speaker 2 (01:03:19):
Stop. It does a machine that covers up your shoe
with plastic or something when you walk in the house.

Speaker 12 (01:03:25):
Yeah, she flies her.

Speaker 11 (01:03:26):
Foot into it and it's like a sticky plastic that
she peels off before she goes outside.

Speaker 2 (01:03:30):
Oh my, this cannot be true.

Speaker 5 (01:03:33):
Oh my gosh. I found it on Amazon. You can
get one for like thirty bucks. What is it called, John,
It's called a automatic shoe cover.

Speaker 2 (01:03:39):
Oh my god.

Speaker 4 (01:03:40):
You literally put your shoe.

Speaker 5 (01:03:41):
In there and it'll wrap it in kind of what
looks like what you would put over your head at
a restaurant, you know what I.

Speaker 4 (01:03:45):
Mean, those kind of things. But it's a bag.

Speaker 2 (01:03:47):
Why not just take your shoes off? She doesn't even
like her own.

Speaker 11 (01:03:50):
Feet, That's what I'm wondering. I didn't even want to ask.

Speaker 2 (01:03:55):
Yeah, and you never went back again.

Speaker 3 (01:03:56):
Huh No.

Speaker 11 (01:03:58):
I haven't talked to her in about a year or so.
But yeah, that was pretty out of pocket for me.

Speaker 2 (01:04:04):
Yeah, that's so weird. A machine that puts something over
your shoes, and she wouldn't even take the shoes off.
She doesn't even like her own feet. What does she
do in bed?

Speaker 12 (01:04:14):
I wonder if you wears sos to bed, because I
can't do that either.

Speaker 2 (01:04:17):
I wonder if she wears boots to bed or I
don't know. I mean if she has her legs wrapped
in saran wrap for something? So many questions? Can you
get her to call us here? Reach out? I don't
even talk to her a year, but reach out and
have her call us.

Speaker 12 (01:04:28):
I will definitely see if he reads out tellers like
for a contest.

Speaker 2 (01:04:31):
Don't tell her truth, you know, do just tell her?
Were we to sit down, have some sweet tea and
talk about stuff? All right, listen, have a great day, Morgan,
Thanks for sharing time with us.

Speaker 11 (01:04:40):
Thank you have an amazing day. Thank you for having
me on.

Speaker 2 (01:04:43):
You gotta take care. Yeah there's anything like that. I
don't think there is for you. But if there is,
you over somebody's house and something happens, you're like, I'm
never coming here again?

Speaker 18 (01:04:50):
What is it?

Speaker 2 (01:04:51):
Three one oh four three?

Speaker 1 (01:04:52):
Text Valentine in the morning at three one oh four.

Speaker 4 (01:04:54):
To three.

Speaker 2 (01:04:57):
Eight thirty six weather today, we'll getting some lights and
steady rain this morning. Tempts in the low sixties fifty three,
Diamond Bar fifty six and tustin. More rain coming tonight
and tomorrow, kind of heavy stuff tonight into tomorrow. Beware that, John.
What's trending now?

Speaker 5 (01:05:12):
There's been some talk on whether or not Kendrick Lamar
will play Not Like Us at the Super Bowl halftime show. Well,
since Drake has filed a lawsuit against it, legal.

Speaker 4 (01:05:19):
Experts have now weighed in. I'll tell you what they said.
Coming up at eight fifty.

Speaker 2 (01:05:22):
All right, eight thirty seven, Laura comes to the microphone.
She's from Brisbane. She's our social media director, Brisbane's Australia.
Somebody did text, hey too much of a bro show.
Get Laura on the microphone. So, Laura, have you ever
been to somebody's house and you saw something that made
you say, I'm never going to visit this place again.

Speaker 18 (01:05:40):
Oh?

Speaker 17 (01:05:40):
Absolutely, this topic has triggered me. I remember maybe as
an early teen, I did one of those sort of
weekends staying at a front's house two nights, and I
did not realize until I got there that they were
a refined sugar free family, which means no sugar in
the household.

Speaker 2 (01:05:58):
Oh forty eight hours.

Speaker 17 (01:06:00):
Al must people be like, oh, maybe that's not a
red flag. That's a big red flag.

Speaker 2 (01:06:02):
To me, it was a red flag too.

Speaker 17 (01:06:05):
I'm a sugar cow and I want to say when
someone hands you ate sugar free hot chocolate, that is
not a good time. When you have sugar free anything,
not a good time.

Speaker 2 (01:06:14):
And I thought to myself, I'm not going back, but
now that is better for you to cut down the sugar. Though, no,
you don't see that was not interested, not interesting. You
don't want none of that. You're a sugar person. Sugar
and I just think, you know, at forty eight hours,
they should have notified you or something. Well, doing that
to a child, you know, and for a health conservatives.

Speaker 17 (01:06:31):
Everything is my friend who was the product of this
parenting situation. When she would come to our house, she
would eat so much that she would get sick because
she's so excited. And then we realized we're like, oh
my gosh, it's like when you see we were thinking,
it's like when you know, people say, oh, my child's
never had you know, candy, and then the grandparents are like, really,

(01:06:52):
we give them candy all the time.

Speaker 2 (01:06:54):
We were like, what if we're.

Speaker 4 (01:06:54):
Sending her home, just let me have candy in the house.
Not so strict on sugar.

Speaker 5 (01:06:59):
But she's not let me have candy. And so when
those kids would sell candy at high school, I'd buy
out all their skittles and fill it back back with it.

Speaker 18 (01:07:05):
Dude.

Speaker 2 (01:07:05):
Okay. So this family thought that their child never had
refined sugar or any type of sugar at all, and
it bragged about it. Told their friends buying on the house.
Up with us, Little Barbie here, she never has sugar.
Little this should know your house, Laura. She was pounding
the sugar at your place.

Speaker 17 (01:07:21):
Full chucky bar, full chocolate bar going down You guys
say chalky in this country, we had.

Speaker 6 (01:07:31):
A full chalky bob.

Speaker 2 (01:07:32):
You go, chalky bob going down nine, going a four
to three. My event, this is Valentine the morning. Here's
a great day. When I come around, Dry Loud would
give it out shocky bars all day today. You think

(01:07:54):
that's a chocky bar, Get a load of this chocky bar.
This is a chocky bar. It's kind of a reference
to hes a knife. Mate, that's not a knife. This
is a knife. Lauris from Australia and apparently a chalky
bar is something she's into in a chalky bisky or
something which is a chalky chalky bicky.

Speaker 4 (01:08:15):
You never feel like she's just making stuff up. I
think she's like, oh yeah, we say that.

Speaker 2 (01:08:18):
I think they kicked her out of the country in
Australia and she came over here and just making stuff up.

Speaker 4 (01:08:22):
Yeah, And I love its complete lie.

Speaker 17 (01:08:25):
I feel like I want to get these guys to
Australia and to converse with my people, and then they're
gonna be like, maybe.

Speaker 2 (01:08:31):
She wasn't lying, maybe she wasn't making all this stuff up. Yeah,
I'd love that too. We'll do that. Fiji Airways all right,
eight forty two, one of four to three mile Famin's
falace in the morning, Andrea, thank you for holding on.
What did you see at somebody's house? It made you
never want to visit again.

Speaker 15 (01:08:45):
I saw he had twelve cats, which we didn't know
before we went, and then he had cat deads everywhere,
litter boxes everywhere, there was cat hair on the dies
in my cut.

Speaker 2 (01:09:00):
Twelve cats.

Speaker 3 (01:09:02):
Have you just closed that before?

Speaker 7 (01:09:04):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (01:09:05):
Over one.

Speaker 2 (01:09:05):
If somebody's allergic to cats, twelve twelve, twelve's a number, man,
I love cats, twelves a lot, twelves a lot. And
then you go to the guy, all right, name them.

Speaker 4 (01:09:14):
He's like, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:09:15):
And then can you get all twelve in the same
room at the same time, Like, everybody, come on down.
Johnny just came over, you know, And here's Andrea. You know,
like when your kids come out to meet somebody's over
the house.

Speaker 4 (01:09:26):
That's a cat cafelt.

Speaker 15 (01:09:28):
Cafe would be fun.

Speaker 11 (01:09:29):
This was not fun.

Speaker 2 (01:09:31):
No, that stinks.

Speaker 4 (01:09:32):
Did it smell like I feel.

Speaker 15 (01:09:34):
Like it did?

Speaker 14 (01:09:34):
Yes?

Speaker 15 (01:09:35):
It was overwhelming, and then some like if you tried
to sit somewhere it was damp.

Speaker 2 (01:09:40):
Oh okay, Andrea, thanks for calling.

Speaker 1 (01:09:46):
Thank you.

Speaker 14 (01:09:46):
Can I get on your Christmas card list?

Speaker 4 (01:09:48):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:09:48):
Of course we got you on and hang out one second.
Thank you. Maybe the cat guy's address, he'll freak out.
We sent him a car one O four to.

Speaker 1 (01:09:53):
Three my FM. Here's what's coming up. In entertainment headlines.

Speaker 4 (01:09:58):
Country artist Casey he Musgraves has been going viral this
week because fans say she was throwing some shade at
Beyonce when Beyonce one Country Album of the Year and
now Casey has responded to that. I'll tell you what
she said coming up after Traffic one O four to.

Speaker 1 (01:10:12):
Three my film entertainment headlines.

Speaker 5 (01:10:15):
So there is a lot of talk online right now
with the super Bowl coming up on whether or not
Kendrick Lamar could and should play Not Like Us on
the super Bowl stage during the halftime show. Drake has
a pending defamation lawsuit against the label to try and
stop him from playing the song, and some are wondering
if when Kendrick gets that big stage, will he face
some pressure to avoid the whole mess entirely by just

(01:10:35):
skipping that specific song. Well, now, some legal experts have
weighed in and they said, now it shouldn't really affect
Kendrick much at all, and for a pretty simple reason.
They say Drake's lawsuit against MG is a legal loser.
They say, most experts say it's not really a strong
case at all. He shouldn't really have that much standing
in his way. So it's pretty likely that Kendrick will
play that song, especially considering it's one of the biggest

(01:10:56):
songs in the world right now.

Speaker 2 (01:10:57):
So the whole the case shortened to it like Drake
going after the record companies, and he wants his masters
and everything of all his body of works, because he's saying,
they really pumped up this record exactly when they knew
there were allegations in the record of something that he
didn't like.

Speaker 4 (01:11:12):
Right exactly.

Speaker 5 (01:11:12):
They're saying that they, with bad intention, was pumping up
the song a little bit more. But on the other side,
there's so much freedom of expression there that you should
be able to do on a dis track with hip
hop music, and you also have to prove that actual
harm was done there, and that's going to be very
challenging too, So right, it'll be an interesting case.

Speaker 4 (01:11:28):
But they say it's a legal loser, so it shouldn't
be a.

Speaker 2 (01:11:29):
Big deal, okay.

Speaker 5 (01:11:31):
And country artist Casey Musgraves has gone viral this week
after fans are saying it looks like she threw some
shade at Beyonce after Beyonce won the Grammy for Country
Album of the Year and looking at Casey's face, fans
say they could detect some sower feelings on there. Well,
a rep for Casey has now shut that down, saying
absolutely not. Essentially, it's just a false narrative meant to
pit two talented female artists against each other. There was

(01:11:53):
no expression or scowl made, which one hundred percent believe.
I see what fans are talking about, but respectfully here
in case he's got some resting serious face.

Speaker 4 (01:12:02):
You know she does that?

Speaker 6 (01:12:03):
Are you allowed to say that?

Speaker 2 (01:12:04):
Yes, resting serious. I was watching the Grammys that like
a guy can't say that about a girl.

Speaker 6 (01:12:09):
I don't know, it seems a little.

Speaker 5 (01:12:11):
I just remember looking at her at the Grammys and
good resting faces. Sometimes you seem a little bit more serious, right,
Sometimes you need an action face. And that's when I
think captains here right, no shade given. Okay, Jamuchi filling
in for Joe with your entertainment head.

Speaker 2 (01:12:24):
We should do like a resting faces and put it
up on Instagram moning to days and see who has
the best and worst resting face. It's like total devoid
of any emotion, just resting face. And see what it is.
You know, those can't look good. It's something to do.

So that album will drop right before Valentine's Day, will
be out a week from Friday. I'm John Camuci. That's
today's music news.

Speaker 2 (01:16:40):
Umbrella Rihanna one of four three Mile Fav's Valentin In
the morning, we had Collin's last like high school soccer
game of the year last night. Rain held off just
until the last like five minutes or something like that,
and then you saw the umbrellas come out. Man, some
people have big umbrellas. That's a status symbol.

Speaker 18 (01:16:58):
It.

Speaker 2 (01:16:58):
My wife had a huge umbrella. Next to her had
a huge umbrella. I'm like, cool, what are you doing this?
Nobody can see anything?

Speaker 4 (01:17:04):
Yeah, but it isn't that kind of nice because then
you can just scoop close and you're covered. You don't
have to hold your own No.

Speaker 2 (01:17:08):
They send me down to the field to do video. Yeah,
I have to if it's raining. I'm out there.

Speaker 18 (01:17:13):
Man.

Speaker 4 (01:17:13):
So do you hold an umbrella in your film and videos?

Speaker 1 (01:17:15):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:17:16):
I just go for a bro, it's my kid. I
take it for the team.

Speaker 4 (01:17:19):
You know, you're just moving really fast so the rain
doesn't get on the film or what.

Speaker 2 (01:17:22):
Well, it's THEILM. Yeah, back in mind. Oh, by the way,
can I last thing I'll tell you before we get
out of here today. Anybody like ever nervous about finding
old film from their family undeveloped or something like that. Oh,
I'm like, what is this. I was going through like
some stuff at my mom's house before we moved around here,

(01:17:44):
and I found some old eight millimeter films And I
don't ever remember us ever doing any video stuff like
that when I was a kid. I'm like, I should
get this developed.

Speaker 6 (01:17:53):
You think it was mom and dad?

Speaker 3 (01:17:54):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:17:54):
God knows.

Speaker 1 (01:17:55):
Oh, my god, no, no, sabe, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:18:02):
Be sure.

Speaker 5 (01:18:03):
Well. Phineas, brother of Billie Eilish, has shared a message
to fans of both of theirs. Billy was nominated for
multiple Grammys last week and including Album of the Year
and Record of the Year, but ended up having They
were leaving the Grammys rather empty handed, which is pretty
unusual for her, but Phineas has a message for their
fans that they need to.

Speaker 4 (01:18:20):
Be respectful of those who won.

Speaker 5 (01:18:21):
There's always these online debates on who should have won
many of these awards, and Phineas is basically saying stop that.
I don't want to see anyone with a photo of
me or of Billy in their profile when they're getting
in fights with other fan sections or other fan bases.

Speaker 4 (01:18:34):
Essentially, he's like, be at peace and congrats to all
the winners. So I love that from Phineas. Just a
class acts per usual.

Speaker 5 (01:18:40):
And Travis Kelsey was at a press conference ahead of
the Super Bowl this Sunday and one of the reporters
just really went for it asked him straight up if
he has any plans to propose to Taylor's swift after
the game on Sunday night, and Travis said, wouldn't you
like to know? With a little smile at the camera,
So he didn't say anything. Of course, he didn't say anything.
I was kind of shocked that question got ask But

(01:19:00):
a lot of people are thinking it.

Speaker 4 (01:19:02):
I personally don't. I feel like they've kept things pretty private.
I feel like they're gonna go that way.

Speaker 2 (01:19:06):
But yeah, no, you're right, they keep it private. But
wouldn't it be great? But I don't want the Chiefs
to win. But if the Chiefs did win and he
got like MVP or something crazy like that, and he's
up there getting the MVP award and he goes by
the way, I've got one more thing I want to say.
He gets down on one knee, Teller.

Speaker 6 (01:19:23):
That's pretty good, dude.

Speaker 2 (01:19:25):
Place would go nuts.

Speaker 4 (01:19:27):
It would nuts.

Speaker 2 (01:19:29):
But that's not gonna happen.

Speaker 4 (01:19:30):
Yeah, I feel like they haven't lived that life so far.

Speaker 2 (01:19:33):
Right, it hasn't been that public like that.

Speaker 4 (01:19:34):
John COMMITCHI filling in for joke with their entertainment headlines.

coming in next week, So be careful out there, take
your time and get where you're going safely. It's always
better to be late than sorry, right, So take your
time going where you're going. Have a great day. We'll
