Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's the Valentine in the Morning.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Replay Welcome to the breakfast table a Valentine in the Morning.

Speaker 3 (00:05):
I laughed heartily.

Speaker 1 (00:06):
Oh my god, help it's respectful to say I love you.
The full show podcast starts right now, one.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Of four to three my family. It's Valentine in the Morning,
starting up our show on a Friday morning. Good morning, Jill,
how are you?

Speaker 4 (00:20):
Good morning? I'm okay.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
How you feeling?

Speaker 4 (00:22):
Every day is a little bit better, and today's the
best I felt in a little over a week.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
Gosh, that sounds like you went through some heavy stuff,
like every day is a little bit better.

Speaker 5 (00:32):
You know.

Speaker 4 (00:32):
Did you tell me when I fell down the stairs that.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Oh no, I thought that was very personal.

Speaker 4 (00:41):
Oh, I mean I can tell I can laugh about
it now. I mean I did laugh at it, maybe
like an hour later, but yeah, the time being, it
was it was very scary.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
It was scary. Jill's been under a little sick and
you think that maybe it was MS related, or.

Speaker 4 (00:54):
I think what happened was unfortunately with MS, or I
think also with a lot of autoimmune issues. If you
get a little cold, it throws your body out of
whack and it takes me longer to recover and all
of that. So I started feeling sick on Sunday and
I got up. My husband was at work, and I
really wanted some honey nut cheios, and I took my
water bottle and I started making my way down the stairs.

(01:16):
And what I think happened was my leg just gave
out on me. Yeah, and I fell halfway down our stairs.
But I fell on my right leg, so like, my
leg gives out and then I'm sitting on my leg
as it's kind of twisted.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
I don't think my leg would do that.

Speaker 4 (01:32):
And it was like and everything was slow motion as
I'm bopping my way down the stairs, and then I
stopped and I couldn't feel anything from the waist down right,
and I thought, oh, okay, I can't move, And I
kept taking deep breaths because I thought I was going
to pass out because the like it was the weirdest.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
Thing you're worried about spinal injuries is a whole had happened.

Speaker 4 (01:53):
Yeah, So then I scooted myself up the stairs on
my butt and then scooched my way to my bed
so i'd get my phone.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
Are you crying at this point?

Speaker 6 (02:02):
No?

Speaker 4 (02:03):
I wasn't crying yet. The tears cave as soon as
I heard my sister's voice. That's when I started, like
I fell down the stairs. Yeah yeah, And my mom
was like, we're gonna come get you. I'm like, no, no, no,
I'm fine, Like I'm okay. I didn't hit my head,
I didn't hit my arms, like, it's all just my
leg and so yeah, so I popped myself onto the

(02:23):
bed and then about an hour later that's what I
started to feel everything. And then my niece swelled up
and then I could not put any weight on my leg,
like oh jeez. And then then I'm thinking, when do
I call my husband and tell him because he's at work,
and I thought I was gonna wait till he's done wrong.
Decision was like he was still living.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
He was so mad. Did you call me before him?

Speaker 4 (02:47):
Yeah you knew before him, Yeah you did.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
I didn't go to her house though, either, you know,
people offered, but we were all worried about her.

Speaker 4 (02:55):
She said she was okay, yeah, my uncle's right down
the street.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
Yeah, so if he needed somebody for medical help or
get you torne.

Speaker 4 (03:01):
And I was sick, so I had no desire to
get in a car and go sit in urgent care.
I knew I was.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
Okay, flash word, you're okay though, just a little sprain
or sprain broken bones? Thank god.

Speaker 4 (03:12):
I sprained my knee and then like a minor sprain
on the ankle, he thinks. But the x rays were good,
Thank goodness. I can finally like get around. I can't
do stairs quite yet because I just can't bend my leg. Yeah,
but I'm okay.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
So what they say is recovery time. A couple of weeks.

Speaker 4 (03:27):
We just said, just elevated you some iceof.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
Yeah, yeah that was your story to tell you're right,
that is hilarious. And then can you queue up boy
George please hot before Yeah?

Speaker 4 (03:44):
Yeah, I wish we had the cameras like on the stairs.
I would love to see what exactly happened.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
I think it would be painful. I will tell you this,
Like video footage of people getting hurt is like a
big thing on the internet, right, yeah, it's a big thing, right,
very funny, but like Colin's gotten hurt at soccer gans
before and stuff like that. I watched that video like once.
I can't watch it again. It breaks my heart when
it's somebody you love like I couldn't watch a many

(04:10):
of you falling down when it's somebody that you love.
You can't watch that stuff. I can watch it.

Speaker 6 (04:15):
I think it'd be all right, not before before you.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
What goes up must come down.

Speaker 4 (04:23):
But you know what's sexy about all this?

Speaker 2 (04:25):
Oh not much.

Speaker 4 (04:27):
My husband can carry me up the stairs.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
It's not even injured.

Speaker 6 (04:31):
Is it.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
Carried up the stairs? Through that? I was like, wow, well,
you know we did for you here, Jill. We all
thought about the same thing, but said that put her
in the freight elevator, just the regular elevator just sounded funny.
Here one four three my family, it's Valentine in the morning. Wow,
a lot of texts coming in, Jill, glad you're okay?
Falling down a flight of stairs is scary. What what

(04:57):
are you laughing at?

Speaker 4 (04:58):
It's just so funny.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
I it's ok you can laugh about it.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
I can't make me laugh about it.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
I don't laugh about permission to laugh, but I don't
laugh about somebody falling down a flight a stairs. Got forromid.
Something back could happen. When they're okay, you can laugh.
Those are the rules.

Speaker 4 (05:13):
I didn't break any bone it's just like a little swollen. Still.
It's okay.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
We don't know.

Speaker 6 (05:18):
About the head.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
We know that they do an MRI. We know they
do an MRI.

Speaker 4 (05:24):
No, not an urgent care No, exactly right. I didn't
hit my head.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
Who knows what you hit. You might have hit your
head and forgot you hit your head. You know I did.
Let me cut through the bs here. No labels of saint.
I don't want. I don't want any of that come
my way. This is not my story. But I did
offer for Jill my mom's house in Connecticut. You know
my mom's out here now.

Speaker 4 (05:45):
Yeah, yeah, that's right, Okay, yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
I offered for Jill at my mom's house in Connecticut,
which is, you know, vacant right now. We're gonna have
to sell it eventually, probably being unused. Is a very
pricey airlift that goes from the top of the chairs
to the bottom of the stairs. It's an egg corn.
If you want to look up eggcorn stairlifts, a C
O R and eggcorn stair.

Speaker 6 (06:08):
Lifts, corn gg.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
A corn acorn, acorn, a corn acorn whatever. Get in
your little mouth and shoe on it, squirrel. The acorn
stairlift machine, very pricey, very nice, and recently had the
battery replaced. So that's good news right there.

Speaker 3 (06:30):
This seems very nice.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
And I offered that for the stairwell of your home
so you wouldn't have these problems anymore.

Speaker 4 (06:37):
You offered it for a price.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
Just for postage and delivery. That's it.

Speaker 4 (06:46):
We'd give me a couple bucks off. But it's a
really good one.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
It's a really nice one. I ever wrote it. I
only wrote the thing like once or twice. The grandkids
would ride it all the time, up and down.

Speaker 3 (06:57):
You bought it, now you have to get rid of
I'm not gonna do it.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
Mommius to use it was great because she put like
when she was more mobile, she'd also put her groceries
on it, and that would take the grocery up the
stairs and stuff like that. Yeah, you know, they're very handy, man.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
It works up for everyone to see.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
Yes, it's got a seatbelt on it.

Speaker 4 (07:14):
That's good.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
And there's remote controls where like if it's down at
the bottom of the stairs, you just grab this like
TV remote control type thing and you bring it to
the top of the stairs.

Speaker 4 (07:23):
I think you'll love it, No, I'm sure you know
what's very interesting. When my husband bought his house, the
owners were selling it because the husband had MS. Okay,
the stairs were too much for him.

Speaker 2 (07:34):
Really, and I only had this then, We.

Speaker 4 (07:37):
Only had it. But I'm so quick to tell my
husband like I'm fine, like, oh, we've got years. I'm okay, right,
I freaking fell down the stairs.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
But listen, that can happen to anybody, right, You can
always just miss a step, not pay attention. Your socks
are on, it's not carpet or whatever. Yeah, and I was.
I took a stat in for my cholesterol and I
went off it for a while number years back, and
they changed with your different stating because one of the
side effects is your leg can give out of you.
And there's one time and I spike in my early
thirties probably and was at the house and I was

(08:06):
just walking through the bathroom or something, and I know
what that feeling is. The leg just stopped working.

Speaker 6 (08:10):
It was gone.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
Mine was for a pure split second. I was a
young enough man that was able to grab a wall
balance byself. It didn't fall down. But after that I
was off that stat for a period of time because
that was one of the side effects that your legs
could just give out, you know, scary. But I am.

Speaker 4 (08:26):
Offering thirteen thousand dollars for this Acorn stairlift.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
That's that's not the one we got, Oh that's that's
somebody carrying you down the stairs.

Speaker 1 (08:37):
Every old person in every photo of this thing, that's
just the biggest grin on their having the best time.

Speaker 2 (08:42):
The Acorn stairlifts are great. They're loving it. No, it's
like almost no, honestly, it's like a ride at Disney
Lanter someplace where you have a fast pass every time.
You never have to wait a line for that unless
the grandkids want to ride the thing up and down.

Speaker 4 (08:56):
All right, you know it. I'll purchase, We'll purchase.

Speaker 2 (08:59):
You'll take it, all right, Well it was thirteen grand
I'll give it to you for like eight one.

Speaker 4 (09:05):
O four to three my FM Wake Up and Valentine
in the morning.

Speaker 6 (09:11):
All right.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
We're getting a lot of text people on board with
Jill getting the Acorn stairlift system for her home in Riverside.
If you have an experience with yours and you want
to shout out, feel free to reach out three one
oh four to three. Some people recommend to get a
new one because he used one. Shipping might be kind
of hard, but my mom's is in great condition.

Speaker 4 (09:30):
I believe you. I think we're not at that stage
just yet.

Speaker 2 (09:33):
Well it's good to have it in place, though, you
know what I mean. Okay, So just get it in place,
try it out, understand the system and to learn it.

Speaker 3 (09:39):
What if we move take it with you?

Speaker 4 (09:42):
What if we move to a place is upstairs?

Speaker 2 (09:44):
Leave it in your old house for that other person
that needs it. I don't know.

Speaker 4 (09:48):
Let's put a hold on that. I appreciate it, but
thank you.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
Wow, all right, I tumblefore you. Three one oh four
three is our text line you want to call in.
It's eight six six for my FM wake up every evening,
one of four three my family aunts Valentine in the morning.

Speaker 6 (10:13):
Hi Jessica, Hi, how are you?

Speaker 2 (10:16):
We're doing all right? How are you doing?

Speaker 7 (10:18):
I'm very well.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
Sometimes I slip into like an old Southern man or something.

Speaker 3 (10:22):
Yeah, I have a lot of weird voices. Then we
just they're so used to it.

Speaker 2 (10:25):
Oh okay, jess how are you doing? Doing all right?

Speaker 8 (10:29):
I didn't know?

Speaker 2 (10:30):
Yeah, all right, all right, what can we do for
you today?

Speaker 8 (10:33):
I was thinking since the past couple of days. You
guys have been doing the Bro Show without Jill. I
think that we should have like an all girls, an
all ladies' day show on Gallantine's Day.

Speaker 2 (10:49):
Best idea ever. We step back, we stay home.

Speaker 4 (10:54):
Yeah, that's where it was going. They would love a
day off.

Speaker 8 (10:57):
No, but you guys have a sixth day.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
I think you should be Honestly, I think be great,
a great show. Jill takes the lead obviously, yes, so
Jill and the lead, and then we bring Laura on board.
Two people think Laura's very funny. We get Lisa Fox
in the studio as well, and the three them together.
I think that would be great.

Speaker 9 (11:17):
You have the.

Speaker 10 (11:17):
People to do it.

Speaker 8 (11:19):
Great day.

Speaker 4 (11:21):
Yeah, we got to come up with a fun name.
You guys have Bro Show. We can have this Gallantine
in the morning, Gallantine in the that makes sense.

Speaker 2 (11:33):
We're going to be so sick. We might be out
for like a week. You might have Gallentined in the
morning for like a week. You'll might still be contagious.
We don't know for sure.

Speaker 4 (11:41):
You want me to come breathe on you guys.

Speaker 2 (11:42):
No, we're fine, but Jessica, you.

Speaker 4 (11:45):
Come in and produced because this was your idea.

Speaker 1 (11:47):
Excuse me.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
We'll hold on a side. Jessica may have zero experience
producing a live radio show.

Speaker 4 (11:52):
That's okay, that's all right.

Speaker 2 (11:54):
I don't think it is.

Speaker 4 (11:58):
It's not going to be here. We'll need to produce.

Speaker 3 (12:00):
And you're saying it's that easy. Anyone just off the
street could just walk in, open.

Speaker 2 (12:04):
Up the next gen audio control system and exactly what
to do. Just crying.

Speaker 6 (12:10):
That is so fair?

Speaker 2 (12:16):
Shots fired? That was your fort sumter to Brian.

Speaker 6 (12:20):
Does all of that?

Speaker 2 (12:21):
I just kinda oh my gosh, well, jes give us
some topic pitches of stuff that you guys could talk about.

Speaker 8 (12:28):
Activities to do with your gal pals, your best and
worst dates, maybe advice for like friendship advice.

Speaker 4 (12:41):
We can't even have guys call in that just want
to hear just from women and get their take.

Speaker 8 (12:52):
Here are like, what what do you guys hide in
their pants?

Speaker 2 (13:00):
Are right there?

Speaker 8 (13:00):
That's places?

Speaker 2 (13:03):
Yeah, let me tell you seven. There's nothing hiding down there.
There's nothing hiding down there. I don't even worry about it,
jess I like you, you know, this could be instead of
like a week long what don't make it like a
weekly thing, like every Friday is Gallantine's Day.

Speaker 8 (13:18):
I don't know about that now, you're just trying to
get out of Friday's work.

Speaker 4 (13:22):
Yeah, and then I'll take Monday off. You do Bro
show on Monday, so they only have all of us
on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.

Speaker 2 (13:28):
It's not a bad idea, you know what I mean.
We'll running up the flagpole.

Speaker 8 (13:33):
Okay, Okay, ask the John peak for me.

Speaker 2 (13:36):
Yeah, we'll ask him. Thanks, Jess, you have a great day.

Speaker 10 (13:40):
Love, love you guys.

Speaker 2 (13:41):
Bye. Do you think you'd say yes to that?

Speaker 6 (13:44):
No?

Speaker 2 (13:44):
No, not without a pay cut. Well, if you guys
are doing it, you're gonna take a pay coat. Hello.
Next Valentine in the morning at.

Speaker 8 (13:52):
Three three.

Speaker 2 (13:59):
One a four to three, im it is Valentine in
the Morning. The super Bowl is coming up this weekend.
We got the Chiefs and the Eagles. I think the
Chiefs are probably gonna win. A kind of root for
the Eagles because the Chiefs have one in the past
two years, right, But I'm also excited for the commercials
and hoping it's a good game. I'm always excited to
see the prop bets.

Speaker 1 (14:15):
He can go online and sometimes they have the most
random things that you can actually bet on. Yeah, but
I thought it'd be kind of fun to go around
the room and have us place them ourselves.

Speaker 6 (14:23):
Okay, because these.

Speaker 1 (14:24):
Are actual things you can bet on. You could literally
go on there right now and bet on whether or
not Travis Kelcey, for example, we'll propose to Taylor Swift
on Sunday. We were talking about this this week, but
I'm curious to.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
Hear Jill's Yeah. I didn't think so either. Well, that's
what we said to They're very like personal and private
in that respect. But is there anything better than like
if he got Super Bowl MVP, being on this stage
handed the MVP trophy, he goes and I want to
see one more thing, doll. Maybe that moment would be
watched by the entire world, because that moment always is.

Speaker 4 (14:54):
I could understand him announcing that they are engaged.

Speaker 2 (14:58):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (14:58):
I think a proposal is happening privately behind closed doors
with this close friends and family even that I don't know,
but I do not see it happening at the super Bowl.

Speaker 2 (15:07):
Interesting. Yeah, Or we're having a baby that's pregnant.

Speaker 3 (15:11):
Your year end prediction at the end of last year
was that.

Speaker 2 (15:14):
She would be pregnant this year. Yes, Okay.

Speaker 1 (15:16):
I just kind of feel like the eyes are already
on them already, you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (15:20):
So it's like I don't understand we're all saying no
in that. I think we're all saying okay.

Speaker 1 (15:24):
All right, Kendrick Lamar's halftime Guess now we know Scissors
coming out, but there are prop bets on whether or
not Rihanna, Beyonce, Drake, Taylor Swift is going to come out.
Now it's Dank is going to come out. I don't
think so either, But you can make that bet, dude.

Speaker 2 (15:40):
You'd make so much money on that.

Speaker 1 (15:41):
Propitise are like almost non existent, right, but you'd make
a ton of money if it happened.

Speaker 2 (15:45):
I always wonder and I get very suspicious, Like you
could bet like a thousand dollars and you make like
ten million. Yeah, what if Drake calls up Kendrick, Dude,
we can make some cash, you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (15:54):
I think Vegas has those kinds of powers. Yeah, Like
some of these bets are insane when they land or
don't land or whatever.

Speaker 2 (16:00):
It's very insider trading though.

Speaker 1 (16:02):
How many times Taylor Swift will be shown during the game.
Now they say over or under six. I think you
think over, I think way.

Speaker 2 (16:12):
Over, oh man, and not doing a good number. I
just think it's what they do.

Speaker 3 (16:17):
They've been kind of scaling that back a little. They
will show her like once.

Speaker 4 (16:21):
Most games they've been backing off.

Speaker 2 (16:24):
If the Chiefs win, I take the over because then
she's coming down to the field doing something like that whatever,
and then it's just massive amount of footage and you
can accidentally show her, you know what I mean. If
they lose, I take the under.

Speaker 1 (16:36):
And this is my favorite one. Will Jason Kelsey take
his shirt off?

Speaker 11 (16:39):
Oh my?

Speaker 4 (16:40):
Is he doing anything? Do we know as far as
like announcing or.

Speaker 2 (16:43):
Is he just what I know of?

Speaker 1 (16:44):
And people are wondering which team he's going to be
rapping anyway, because he was on the Eagles, but his
brother's on the Chiefs, so you can bet on who
he's going to be wrapping that game. I personally really
like whether or not he'll take he'll split the jerseys.

Speaker 4 (16:55):
No, he's wearing a new Heights merchandise. He said he's
gonna wear their podcast merge, so he doesn't have to
take any sides. At least that's what he said.

Speaker 2 (17:05):
We want to cop out pretty smart but make your bet.
Did you take your shirt off? Yes? No, yea, he
takes a shirt off. Interesting, He's not gonna take his
shirt off if the Eagles win, is he? Well, I
guess he played for them.

Speaker 4 (17:17):
You're right, he did take it off last year.

Speaker 1 (17:19):
I feel like he's just one of those guys that
like takes the shirt away.

Speaker 2 (17:24):
I'll find a way to get my shirt off. Oh
haven't we all lived that life? Some of our shirts,
some pants, you know, finds away. One of four to
three mi Fami. It is Valentine in the morning.

Speaker 3 (17:39):
So we were just talking about super Bowl prop bets.
I have some Jill super Bowl party prop bets that
we can try.

Speaker 2 (17:47):
Okay, okay, I mean the top one is will Valentine attend?

Speaker 3 (17:51):
That's been discussed behind the scenes.

Speaker 2 (17:53):
Go around the room, take your bets. Leilani is out
of town and Colin and I are home alone. She's
out of town this weekend and her friends they booked
like a a couples crew girl get together and forgot
it was super Bowl weekend. So they're all like in Temecula.
They're all out of too nice.

Speaker 3 (18:10):
Oh, I say, yeah, yeah, you're gonna be there. Why
would you not.

Speaker 4 (18:13):
I say no, it's too far. It's what what are
you guys making? It's too far?

Speaker 2 (18:20):
It's too far? Are you making a monetary wager.

Speaker 7 (18:24):
On it?

Speaker 3 (18:24):
He'll be there. He's a real friend. He's going to
show up for his friend.

Speaker 2 (18:28):
I'll take you up on that.

Speaker 3 (18:30):
Okay, five bucks?

Speaker 2 (18:31):
Okay, do you want to hand in the five now?
It's very far. Do you have a car service for
people sending an er credit or something?

Speaker 6 (18:42):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (18:42):
Well, who knows? You know? No one knows, but it
is very far. And then they don't have a bidet?

Speaker 4 (18:50):
No, we don't. But if you're going to do that
at our house, we have a private bathroom for you upstairs.

Speaker 1 (18:56):
You have a private on a squirt bottle near the toilet.

Speaker 2 (18:58):
Okay, will your husband coming with sport? You support your cat?

Speaker 11 (19:01):
Right?

Speaker 2 (19:01):
Would your husband Scot with a sport model?

Speaker 11 (19:04):
Not?

Speaker 2 (19:04):
Why not? I thought I was a friend. I'm used
to it now, Laura, are you going to go no bidet?
Laura and I are very good day friendly, like we
call hotels now and asking that to day is once
you get a day, you never go astray. I get it.

Speaker 3 (19:22):
During the party, will Jill mention that she used to
be a child actress.

Speaker 2 (19:27):
If she doesn't, whatever, her sisters will be the plant
that does. It'll come up and come somewhere.

Speaker 4 (19:32):
He usually does it with some of Jeff's friends who
will be there. They love the fact that I was
in parent trap. Yeah, and they'll so they'll bring it up, all.

Speaker 2 (19:41):
Right, So we're all going to yes, and that one
I will bring it up. So we just did gind it.
You gave your resume. Parent.

Speaker 3 (19:48):
Who's going to drink too much?

Speaker 2 (19:50):
Are you going? I'm going, I'm saying, Brian. If you're going,
I'm saying you.

Speaker 4 (19:56):
And my dad I think he was on the list.

Speaker 2 (20:01):
Then drinking too much, hanging out in the backyard probably
and stuff. My day is gonna be so rough in here. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (20:07):
Will John jump off the roof and into a pool?

Speaker 2 (20:10):
I don't know the distance from the roof to the pool?
What is the distance?

Speaker 4 (20:13):
It's far. It's very shallow. It's more of a hot tub,
you know.

Speaker 1 (20:19):
No, there's this technique where if you land at an angle,
you can like kind of shoot to the side.

Speaker 4 (20:25):
A little tub. Yeah, you're you're so far.

Speaker 2 (20:28):
I'll send you the address for Zilo. Just let's come above.
You see it's kind of tough to do.

Speaker 3 (20:32):
I have one, last one, one last one, the big
one here it is will Jill end up inviting a
listener to the party, Like she mentioned she might, she
was considering.

Speaker 2 (20:39):
She was considering, right, family, you would said you took
some time off this week to consider it a family
four pack for one, Like that family you went to
Disneyland with. How great did that turn out?

Speaker 11 (20:52):
Right?

Speaker 4 (20:52):
So great?

Speaker 2 (20:53):
They were amazing they could come over. Well let's go.
Well you've already spent time with them, so now it's
like they become a big thing. But you're biting that
family to your ram to come if they want to come.

Speaker 3 (21:03):
They know you don't have a day though.

Speaker 2 (21:06):
Yeah, that should be. Who's in charge of the alcohol?

Speaker 4 (21:10):
Jeff and I are.

Speaker 2 (21:12):
Left over from the reception?

Speaker 11 (21:14):
No?

Speaker 2 (21:14):
No, no, these bottles like wine? Are you getting a Yeah?

Speaker 4 (21:20):
No, you're not in charge of the wine. If you're
not coming, you're not in charge. You can't even ask questions.
It's Valentine in.

Speaker 2 (21:26):
The morning at three one oh four three one four three, fam,
it's Valentine in the morning. We're gonna do first sip.
If you're new to our show, it's a moment of
hopefully inspiration, hopefully something that goes into your day puts
you in a better spot. Right today, I want you

(21:48):
to consider doing one thing, one thing today. Could you
and I try and do this, not in a shallow way,
but every now and then, say to yourself, today, I'm
going to find a reason to make somebody else's day. Today,
I'm going to find a moment to put a smile
on somebody else's face. Maybe it's simply a compliment, but

(22:11):
it's not a throwaway compliment. It's something you have to mean, right,
So you dive within yourself as you go about your day,
whether it's a stranger or friends, a coworker, you find
something to say to somebody. It's so much account We're
such a nice gesture that when they leave that room
with you they feel better. When they go about their day,
they feel better. It's a small compliment for somebody out there.

(22:34):
Could you do that? Would you do that? Not just rhetorically.
Now I'm looking at you, Brian.

Speaker 6 (22:40):
I'm trying.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
That's not a forced moment for even the room. No,
that was not fishing there, but would you commit to
doing that today?

Speaker 3 (22:47):
As you were saying that, I was thinking about what
I could do for someone I love that.

Speaker 2 (22:50):
I will commit to it, Okay, John.

Speaker 12 (22:54):
Yeah, Jill definitely, Laura yeah, all right, commit to doing
that today for a coworker, a friend, a family member.

Speaker 2 (23:06):
Give them a compliment, tell them something nice, make their
day small to you made. Because it's a matter of words,
it's not hard to do, right Is it hard to
say hey I've noticed this, or hey you really are hey?
Whatever it is is not hard to do as words
or if that person it can mean the world. They
might be having an incredibly bad day. Just that one

(23:28):
small moment can change your day. Go after it.

Speaker 4 (23:33):
Counter suff one two three, sip that coffee.

Speaker 2 (23:40):
Start that day. This is kind of a perfect rainy
day song. I think I can do Bradley Cooper's part
pretty well. Keep the mic on. Let's see.

Speaker 6 (23:55):
Tell Me Something.

Speaker 2 (24:03):
One of four, three mi VM, It's Maltains in the morning.
I think I nailed that. Six forty six, Good morning.
Let's do New Music Friday with John Kimuchi. All right,
a couple of songs for you today.

Speaker 1 (24:13):
Up first, This was dropped a little bit earlier this week,
right after the Grammys. It's Lady Got Got's newest single,
Abra Cadabra.

Speaker 2 (24:29):
I love this. I feel like I'm going to be
on stage at the Abbey the West Hollywood dancing to this.
Oh yeah, you know especially.

Speaker 1 (24:39):
Yeah, it's kind of given like that bad romance, right,
what are you doing over?

Speaker 4 (24:43):
You know, like the body flailing type of dance. Just
let yourself go.

Speaker 2 (24:46):
You look like that inflatable on the side of the road,
that tall dude with the flailing arms. It's always out
there for the opening of a store.

Speaker 1 (24:53):
I know, it's kind of what the music video looks
like for this song too.

Speaker 2 (24:58):
I mean, I know we're loving it too.

Speaker 1 (24:59):
But some celebrities, Halsey came out and said this is
her new reason to live. Dosha Cat has posted about
it like It's been a very popular week. I think
people are excited to see guy got back.

Speaker 2 (25:09):
That far for my reason to live, so God, I said.

Speaker 1 (25:12):
Ultimately, she wanted this song to be about brazilience and
perseverance and for a lot of the same reasons we're
talking about right now. She said, for her, the dance
floor is where she perseveres. That's where she can go
out there, where she can work hard, where she can
have some passion, be herself and so dance playgers are
dance floor bangers are the ones that she gravitates to,
and that that's what this song sounds.

Speaker 7 (25:31):
Like, A.

Speaker 2 (25:39):
Who who am I? Well nobody else does. The lyrics
are no, It's who Got got abro? No, dude, I
have enough the iHeart Radio appin's check it out and
the lyrics section goes, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (25:55):
So that full album from her is coming out March seventh,
so about the month away.

Speaker 2 (25:58):
It's Mayhem is going to be the title of it.

Speaker 1 (26:00):
And then at a little over a week after that,
she's gonna be receiving the biggest award at this year's
iHeart Radio Music Awards, the Innovator Awards. So big year
for Gaga. This is Abracadabra, all right, next step switching
gears a little bit. This is a piano forward track
from Elton John and Brandy Carliles is called Who Believes
in Angels?

Speaker 2 (26:26):
The studirain.

Speaker 1 (26:42):
So Elton John and Brandy Carlisle just announced they have
a full collab album coming out. It's also going to
be called Who Believes in Angels? And I'm like, that's
kind of an interesting pick. I didn't really see that coming,
So I'm like why And Elton John said he had
the most amazing year following his Goodbye Yellow Brick Road
tour and then he decided he wanted to do something
different and didn't want to just coast in his career. Coast, Bro,

(27:06):
you're seventy six, my dude, Like, you can sit down,
you know what I mean, It's fine. No going to
accuse you of coasting.

Speaker 2 (27:12):
No, No, he sits down during a show, trust me,
I'm sure he does not. You know, I saw that
Goodbye show. But I'm like, good for him.

Speaker 1 (27:18):
He just ain't built that way. Like he's got to
keep pushing himself and doing new things. So when he
said he met Brandy, he fell in love with her
voice and decided she was the perfect collab partners that
I got in the studio. Yeah, and apparently that was
a struggle. There are all these video surfacing with him
getting frustrated in the studio facing a lot of block
but he figured it out and he said it was
one of the greatest musical experiences of his life. And
now that album comes out in April.

Speaker 2 (27:39):
Fourth Retirement is very much a Western culture thing. You know,
you have to have something to do to keep your
mind sharp. And for a lot of us were always
taught like, oh, get sixty five, get to whatever, retire,
put your feet up, see the world whatever. Yeah, but
as long as you're doing something for him. It's music
that keeps your mind sharp, right, and it has activities,
you're better off.

Speaker 1 (27:59):
And they do say music is one of the best
ways to keep your mind sharge, Yeah, you can do forever.

Speaker 6 (28:03):
I'm sure.

Speaker 2 (28:03):
Well, even like my mom in the Alzheimer's unit, singing
is a great way to get her to use her
voice because she doesn't like to talk otherwise. But when
she sings, you know, it's a callback to the past,
a song she knows. It's a really good way to
keep things going.

Speaker 1 (28:15):
I bet that's fun for you to be there for
that too, So saying with.

Speaker 2 (28:18):
The other people it is, but the other people, I
don't know. We're kind of loud.

Speaker 1 (28:23):
This is Elton John and Brandy Carlisle. But our next
song here is by Alex Warren. He's got a massive
following on social but he's recently been reaching some new
heights and music. This is his newest song that he
wrote about his wife called Ordinary.

Speaker 11 (28:43):
You don't make it.

Speaker 1 (28:45):
Say so Valentine's Day coming up. This is one that
could fit on one of those playlists. It's got a
choir in the background, kind of an epic feel to it,
and he said he's singing it to his wife right now.

Speaker 2 (29:06):
He hopes to sing it to his daughter someday.

Speaker 1 (29:08):
But what that's kind of interesting about this song in
this release is like it's completely been taken over almost
by book girl is and like the book side of
the Internet, there's this recent release, like this popular book
is called on ex Storm. I don't know if you
remember someone called in not too long ago saying that
was there happening.

Speaker 2 (29:23):
There was like three books for the on ex Storm
series or something exactly. It's part of this series.

Speaker 1 (29:27):
And ever since she said that, I've been seeing this
book everywhere. I didn't really know how massive this series is.

Speaker 4 (29:33):
My sister Jenna is obsessed.

Speaker 2 (29:35):
Who's the author? Should we have him on the show? Yeah, dude,
we should.

Speaker 1 (29:39):
This is this is say we did this on ex
Storm book is now the fastest selling adult novel in
twenty years. Whoa twenty years. I had no idea how
big it was. And so a lot of people are
saying that this song kind of sounds like, what would
be the romance between some of the main characters in
the book.

Speaker 2 (29:55):
We should have the author on. I know that was
s John Peak over the edge because I ain't I'm
an author on the air. Wow, that's great. But one
of the tricks I used early in my radio careers,
I'd have authors on to talk about their books. Yeah,
and if it became boring, if the interview was no
good and you guys wanted to bail from it, they'd
call up and go, yeah, I really loving the interview
and Stepp love the book. Is it available on paperback?
And that was my signal from the audience. You'd ask

(30:17):
it was available on paperback, and a couple of times
the author's like, got a lot of people really want
that paperback, but I've got a hardcover. But yeah, this
paperback as well.

Speaker 1 (30:26):
Well, I'm sure this one would be a hit. It's
been a massive book right now. Yes, it would be
great for Valentine's to day too. This is ordinary from
alex One.

Speaker 2 (30:35):
You got to make cases.

Speaker 1 (30:36):
I got full playlist on that free iHeart radio app.
If you want some new music this week, just search
my playlist and it'll pop right up. I'm Josh Commishi
and that's your new music.

Speaker 2 (30:50):
One O four to three my FM.

Speaker 4 (30:52):
Here's what's coming up in entertainment headlines. Do not call
Matthew McConaughey, Matt, I'll tell you why right out of traffic.

Speaker 3 (31:04):
One four three my FM.

Speaker 2 (31:06):
Entertainment headlines.

Speaker 4 (31:07):
A couple of funny stories this morning about different actors
and their parents. First, Jeff Daniels, So, he starred in
Dumb and Dummer with Jim Carrey, came out in nineteen
ninety four, and Jeff Daniels was telling the story about
how he kind of screened the movie before it was
out for friends and family this theater company, shortly before
it was released in theaters, and he said that he

(31:28):
sat next to his parents and when they got to
the toilet scene, he looked over and his dad had
his head in his hands and just saying, no, Jeffrey.
And if you if you've never seen duvindw you forgot
that scene. It's bad stomach in the bathroom. But could
you imagine your dad looking at It's like, oh no.

Speaker 2 (31:49):
Like there's so many like shows and even like TV
commercials as a young teen like watch it with my dad.
I just felt awkward. I'd start talking like, even this
is weird, but even like a femine hygien product commercial
when you're like a ten year old to twelve year
old boy, you don't understand that, suir and so come
on TV and it's like you're like, yeah, dad, those sucks.

Speaker 4 (32:08):
And then another story about Matthew McConaughey and his mom.
So on social media, old interviews seem to go viral
at the most random times. Well, there is this interview
of Matthew McConaughey from back in twenty twenty one that's
going viral right now, and the interviewer says, hi, Matt
when he comes up on the screen, and Matt's eyes
get really big, there's a little bit of awkward silence,
and he kind of puts his finger up in the
air and he goes, oh, Matthew, please. And there's a

(32:30):
reason why Matthew McConaughey was saying his mom was mad
when anybody would call him Matt to his face. And
it was on the playground a friend called him Matt.
Matt goes out to the playground. His mom stopped him
and she said, no, don't you ever answer to matt again,
I named you Matthew from the Bible, and Matthew is like, yes, ma'am.

(32:51):
And if anybody calls him matt today, he just they
don't know me well, he's saying, and he will not respond.
I'm Jill with her tivin headline.

Speaker 2 (32:58):
My mom was the same way. My sister's as Kathleen.
If people call her Kathy. You just couldn't stop it, though,
you know, it's so hard.

Speaker 4 (33:04):
My mom said in the delivery room. Yes, no one
will call me Jill, she said, everybody, her name is
not Jill, it's Jillian. No one can call her Jill. Right,
She's one of the very few that still calls me Jillian.
Everybody says Jill.

Speaker 2 (33:17):
Jay dog dog. Hey, there might be a bully in
your life. There might be somebody that kind of trolls
you for us. As John Peek, he just texted, Hey,
is Valentine at the morning available in paperback?

Speaker 11 (33:32):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (33:33):
Yeah, wow, I know. But you put a smile on
your face. It's gonna be a great Friday battle of sex.
Is you want to call himself? John call now to win?

Speaker 11 (33:42):
Oh no, I half good judgment. Oh no, I have
good taste.

Speaker 2 (33:50):
Sometimes music just sounds like it's made for a rainy day,
doesn't it like right there like Billie Eilish Birds of
a Feather? Doesn't it feel like a rainy day song?

Speaker 6 (33:58):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (33:58):
Yeah, it's funny if there is. This is the song
that John peaks are Boston. He doesn't let us do
this off. But if there's a song that you feel
great for a rainy day, that you think would be
great for a drive into school of work today, let
us know. In the meantime, happiness is coming up? Anything
good in your life? You want to share? Text in
three one oh four three, text us.

Speaker 4 (34:13):
Three one oh four three, And nothing's too small and
nothing's too big. Let us know what's making you smile today.

Speaker 2 (34:20):
It is a battle of the sexist reps in the men.
His name is Lee. He lives in Riverside so he
works as a male carrier. Enjoys watching football. Lee, what's
going on? Brother? Going on?

Speaker 6 (34:30):
Guys?

Speaker 13 (34:30):
Happy Fresh Friday?

Speaker 2 (34:32):
Oh we're doing that again. There's a callback to something
we haven't done in years.

Speaker 1 (34:37):
The lady is.

Speaker 4 (34:38):
Her name is Marina. He's from Santa Clarita. She works
as a home health coordinator and enjoys watching movies with
her son. Let's hear it for Marina.

Speaker 2 (34:46):
What's up Marina?

Speaker 14 (34:49):
Good morning everyone.

Speaker 2 (34:50):
Good morning Marina. Here's that works, Marina. I'm gonna ask
you a few questions. Lee, feel's gonna be asking you
the questions. Best out of three wins. If we ask
at the end, do we go? Do it? And that's
a dove deed brick question. Let it starts. We used
to pretend we're French at one point in the show.
That's the story. Let's start, ladies. Name two of the

(35:11):
three judges on the first season of American Idol.

Speaker 14 (35:17):
Simon Cowell and Paula Duel.

Speaker 2 (35:22):
That's correct it and then Randy Jackson as well.

Speaker 4 (35:24):
Lee, what pop star start? In the two thousand and

Speaker 2 (35:32):

way to bumble users? Which way do bumble users swipe
when they see a potential match?

Speaker 14 (35:46):
Never use it before? But I will listen to the right.

Speaker 2 (35:50):
See right is correct?

Speaker 4 (35:52):
Lee, finish the name of the dating app plenty of what?

Speaker 2 (36:01):
Oh of.

Speaker 7 (36:05):
Fish?

Speaker 1 (36:06):
Yes?

Speaker 15 (36:07):
All right?

Speaker 2 (36:09):
Current score is two to two. Bruno Mars won the
Grammy for Album of the Year in twenty eighteen. What
was his album called.

Speaker 14 (36:18):

Speaker 2 (36:21):
I will not accept that answer. I'm sorry. Twenty four
Carrot Magic and Lee.

Speaker 4 (36:26):
What finger does Bruno Mars like to sing about?

Speaker 2 (36:29):
Whoa? Okay, what they'd like to sing about?

Speaker 4 (36:34):
What finger?

Speaker 2 (36:35):
Whoa?

Speaker 4 (36:36):
What?

Speaker 2 (36:37):
That's the right question.

Speaker 4 (36:39):
He's talking about.

Speaker 2 (36:40):
Singer or singer?

Speaker 4 (36:42):
No finger? Like f fish?

Speaker 2 (36:43):
Whoa? What?

Speaker 13 (36:48):

Speaker 2 (36:50):

Speaker 11 (36:50):

Speaker 2 (36:50):
Finger? What finger? Sir?

Speaker 4 (36:52):
Talking about putting your rings up? What finger is that
on thees?

Speaker 2 (37:08):
Wow? Yes, there we go, sir. I know that it
was very confusing. I understand, so very confused. All right,
let's go to an that's a tough tie break question.

Speaker 6 (37:16):
How are you name?

Speaker 7 (37:17):

Speaker 2 (37:17):
The answer name will be your buzzer. Wait until Brian
Burton finishes asking the question before you buzz in?

Speaker 3 (37:23):
What excuse might you use to call off work on Monday?

Speaker 14 (37:27):

Speaker 2 (37:31):
Jill? Who was it?

Speaker 4 (37:34):

Speaker 2 (37:36):
Okay, what's your answer?

Speaker 4 (37:39):

a great weekend and safe weekend you too.

Speaker 2 (38:32):
Thanks very much.

Speaker 15 (38:34):
From Sedan's and SUV's to full size trucks experience the
incredible power and fuel efficiency with Toyota electrified raisings.

Speaker 2 (38:42):
You need to know right now, seven eighteen, it's balanced
out in the morning. This is one of four to
three mifm heavy rain falling overnight, which did cause small
mud slides in the Pacific Palisades and a portion of
Phre shut down. Now the rain's expected to move out
this afteruring. The weekend should be dry with some sunshine. Now,
I don't want to panic anybody because we'll stay abreast
of this I'm really like a weather goofball. I love

(39:04):
this stuff. There is a potentially more powerful storm expected
to hit next week before or around Valentine's Day. Cruise
will continue to prepare for mudslides. We don't know what
that storm yet. I mean, it could go higher than atmosphere,
river could drop lower, so a lot of depends on that,
and it could bring three and a half inches, it
could bring an inch of rain. But this could potentially
be a very very big storm that's coming next week.

(39:27):
We'll probably no more as a weekend goes on, as
the forecast models get closer to it. Now Sunday, though,

Irish lady. She was a woman that my mom came

(54:42):
to live with when she left Ireland. She was living
in Boston, Nott May. Mom came living with her. So anyway,
I was living in Texas at the time, and sadly,
my Aunt May was towards the end and my mom
and dad they drove up to Boston to see Aunt Maine,
check you in her, you know, towards the end there
were checking in on her. And my sister Kathleen was

(55:02):
arriving as well from like New Hampshire. Mom and Dad
got there first, walked in her room. She's sitting up
in the bed just relaxing. They're like, hi, Aunt May,
how you doing, how you feeling? They're chatting away good
half an hour forty five minutes and my sister gets there.
She starts chatting away, holding out May's hand and stuff
like that. About ten minutes later, the nurse walks in
and goes, oh my god, I'm so sorry she passed away.

(55:23):
Three hours ago they were talking to Aunt May sitting
up in bed right hand to God for like forty
five minutes since she was already gone. No, yeah, yeah,
I have a family of over talkers. Didn't let not
make it a word in Edge one? Yeah, the defina
should have both sat in funny at the same time.

(55:43):

in the military. We love him. Kent City is making

(01:04:22):
their third straight Super Bowl appearance. They have a chance
to become the first NFL team ever to win three
championships in a row. Last year's Super Bowl had an
audience of one hundred and twenty four million. People only
think America can agree on for Super Bowl. It has
pushed the cost to be thirty second commercial to an
all time high eight million dollars for thirty seconds. You've

(01:04:44):
then that's expensive. We will give you a deal for

the stores based in Coast and Mesa, oh Man. They

(01:05:32):
of the problems they face. John actually tried to keep
the root of brand afloat himself. I did my best here.
It's like eighty percent of my closet. Probably. The store
closing is just the latest hit the retail industry. Large
department stores like Cole's and Macy's closed dozens of locations
this last year. Storry to hear that. Thank you for
all your years of service. A lot of people grew
up with your brands. John's got some music news. Well, guys,

(01:05:52):
the time has finally come. Rihanna is coming out with
some new music, but it's going to be as a smurf. Yesterday, yeah, yesterday,
trailer drops for the reboot of Smurfs coming out this July,
and Rihanna is leading as the voice of Smurf.

Speaker 1 (01:06:07):
Fet but she's creating some original music for the film too.
Not quite what fans were expecting Rihanna's return to music.

Speaker 2 (01:06:14):
To look like.

Speaker 1 (01:06:14):
But you know what that's gonna have to do. Heck yeah,
let's do it, Rihanna.

Speaker 2 (01:06:17):
I John Camuci. That's today's music news. So we wanted
something more. But it's Smurf music she's coming out with.
And I bet after all these years been waiting for
Rihanna to come out brand new music.

Speaker 4 (01:06:29):
It'll be good, It'll be good.

Speaker 2 (01:06:30):
Crazy, it's Rianna. Do you know what I hear? She's
actually doing a cover? Oh I'm Blue? Is that the song?

Speaker 3 (01:06:40):
Yeah, you're right.

Speaker 2 (01:06:41):
I told Brian to try and find the music. You
didn't find it. I'm Blue, I whispered to find I'm Blue.
Well you sing it, then, laurag ahead. She's got a
new song. It's called it.

Speaker 4 (01:06:57):
Distrmias the Remings. It's called a Decade in Blue.

Speaker 2 (01:07:03):
It's too late, Brian, the moments She asked, comedy is
all about timing, and we had none and sharing. This
is bad habits.

Speaker 6 (01:07:11):

Speaker 4 (01:08:55):
Rainy days are the best. You can stay home Saturday.

Speaker 2 (01:09:02):
It's so funny. Certain music creates a vibe on a
rainy day. It's Ocean Eyes by Billy but you we
listened to that song on a sunny day, but it
hits different on a rainy day. It really does.

Speaker 11 (01:09:26):
Only know Halley.

Speaker 2 (01:09:35):
And we wouldn't be disc jockeys if we didn't do
this rain what's the face for?

Speaker 2 (01:09:52):
Stop it.

Speaker 4 (01:09:53):
I know the name, but I know the story.

Speaker 2 (01:09:55):
I know the story, but you don't know the song.
Blame it on the rains. Huge massive, I do like
I play this a bunch on our show over the years.
You don't know blav from really John, I mean Jill
doesn't know it, definitely, man.

Speaker 3 (01:10:14):

Speaker 2 (01:10:24):
This is a huge song from Million Vanilly.

Speaker 14 (01:10:28):

Speaker 4 (01:10:28):
I know Brillion know it's true?

Speaker 2 (01:10:30):

I love this text, the best quote of the day
from John. If Jill doesn't know it, I certainly don't
know it. Jill, please educate the little brother you always wanted.
Oh it's John, a little brother always wanted.

Speaker 6 (01:11:19):
He is.

Speaker 2 (01:11:20):
I never had a little brother either. You didn't know
I have two older sisters.

Speaker 1 (01:11:23):
Oh well, you missed out on that chance.

Speaker 2 (01:11:24):
I think what I mean, you could be my little brother.

Speaker 4 (01:11:27):
It could be you.

Speaker 3 (01:11:28):
Oh that's yeah, that's that's yeah, all right, you want
to call him your dad?

Speaker 1 (01:11:33):
I just yeah, there's some age gaps between siblings.

Speaker 6 (01:11:35):
That's fine.

Speaker 2 (01:11:37):
Who knows?

Speaker 1 (01:11:38):

Speaker 2 (01:11:40):
All right, I've done with him.

Speaker 1 (01:11:43):
You walk this down? That wrote I did right.

Speaker 2 (01:11:45):
Eye opened my big mouth there it is? What is
Aaron talking about?

Speaker 3 (01:11:48):
He's talking to a woman in the other room. She
wants your help, was something.

Speaker 2 (01:11:52):
But yeah, to actually come on. He's trying to get
her on, right, Do I need to stall or play
a song? Maybe play all all right, so he's trying
to convince her to come on. It's worthwhile?

Speaker 6 (01:11:59):
Yeah, no, it would be gone.

Speaker 2 (01:12:01):
Okay, here's no doubt. Don't speak.

Speaker 17 (01:12:04):
Me.

Speaker 2 (01:12:10):
What if I bring mine back? Is Valentine in the morning?
A thousand dollars coming on that eflect this morning? Gracie
Ready Eron got her to talk. Gracie, Okay, what's going on?

Speaker 13 (01:12:20):
All right? So I've been dating my boyfriend for about
a year and I'm just kind of over it, Like
we're on different paths and I've just kind of like
lost my spark for him or whatever. But like I
know he's been planning something really special for Valentine's Day.

(01:12:44):
Oh okay, yeah, I don't know if I should just
like break up with him beforehand, you know, rip the
band aid off? Or if I should like just hang
around through Valentine's Day?

Speaker 2 (01:12:56):
You don't love this guy anymore? Do you know? Did
you ever love him? Or are we just boyfriend and
girlfriend and exploring the relationship.

Speaker 13 (01:13:04):
I think I don't think I was ever, like really
in love with him.

Speaker 14 (01:13:07):
I think he liked me more.

Speaker 2 (01:13:09):
Than Yeah, you need to break up with him. Yep,
you need to break.

Speaker 8 (01:13:13):
Up with them?

Speaker 2 (01:13:14):
Yeah, because I mean you said he's planning something special
for Valentine's Day? Is it worse in the grand scheme
of things to go through all that thinking that you
found love planning something specially then finding out, like on
February fifteenth, that the girl's not into Yeah, I think
it's worse that way. I would break up with him. Now, Okay,
what's his number?

Speaker 13 (01:13:32):
Be right?

Speaker 4 (01:13:35):
Because what if he proposes? I mean, oh dear, that's
where my mind went.

Speaker 2 (01:13:40):
Do you think there's a chance Grace like Jill's thinking
that he proposed?

Speaker 13 (01:13:43):
Oh my god, I didn't even think about that.

Speaker 2 (01:13:47):
There's there's no way. Right, it's only been a year.
I feel like you would really know you're on this
page when that happened. Really, it's only been a year
and you don't think would happen. Ask me how long
before I proposed to my wife? But I'm sure you
knew you guys were on the same past. I dare, hey,
how how long.

Speaker 1 (01:14:04):
Are you guys dating when you proposed your wife?

Speaker 2 (01:14:06):
Three months? No way, three months? Jill's right. What if
he proposes?

Speaker 13 (01:14:15):
Oh yeah, because he did ask me for a bunch
of like pictures and stuff.

Speaker 4 (01:14:21):
I'm just thinking, like, if he doesn't know how you're feeling,
if he's not picked up or you guys haven't been
talking about the fact that you're you've lost that spark
for him, he might just think like everything is going great,
a wonderful Valentine's Day, he's really feeling it, And I
don't know, maybe proposes, And.

Speaker 1 (01:14:39):
I think if you love him as a friend, even
or even just as a person, I think honesty is
a form of kindness. So the best thing you can
possibly do for him just be as honest as you
possibly can.

Speaker 2 (01:14:48):
Well said, it's gonna hurt, but you gotta do it.
You've lost that love and feeling, Okay, you know you
gotta tell him that one? All right, three you've.

Speaker 6 (01:14:57):
Lost that's a tough time, you know.

Speaker 2 (01:15:11):
Yes, some radio shows would actually call the guy.

Speaker 4 (01:15:14):
But we won't. We can try, it's already gonna hurt, like,
no way if it goes to voicemail.

Speaker 2 (01:15:21):
You know the message you love. Yeah, we just play
the song down the phone line.

Speaker 13 (01:15:32):
Is it still okay to break up with people over
post it?

Speaker 14 (01:15:34):
Not?

Speaker 4 (01:15:35):
No?

Speaker 1 (01:15:36):
No, he's not gonna take this well, is yeah he
see this coming?

Speaker 17 (01:15:41):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:15:42):
Okay, well listen, do it privately. Stop calling radio shows,
and you know, realize that your heart has probably been
broken or could be broken in the future at some
point too. So go with grace because Erica, you arrive
but for the grace of God, and you know, understanding
his feelings for you. But you have to be honestly.

(01:16:02):
John said it, Well, you have to be honest with him.

Speaker 4 (01:16:04):
Okay, please do it in person because over the phone
is the worst.

Speaker 13 (01:16:09):
Yeah, you're right, he deserves better than that, even if
I'm not like in love with him.

Speaker 2 (01:16:15):
Yeah, yeah, I really like this guy. Actually I don't
even know, but I feel like you. No, I feel
like he's a good guy. I'm on his side, hang
in there. Not for me, It just it hurts. I've
had this conversation. I've been I've been him many times.

Speaker 1 (01:16:33):
Definitely, if you're going to text him we need to talk,
you should already be outside his house.

Speaker 2 (01:16:39):
Don't make him sit there all day with that. We
need to talk text. Everybody knows what that means, though,
I know, like when John p goes, do you have
a moment? My boss says that to me, And when
a girl says can we talk?

Speaker 9 (01:16:52):
Never?

Speaker 11 (01:16:52):
Good?

Speaker 2 (01:16:54):
Well great, now he calls back next week and let
us know how it went.

Speaker 13 (01:16:57):
Totally.

Speaker 2 (01:16:58):
We're kind of invested in your life. I wish you
nothing about the best. Okay, thank you so much. Going
with a caring heart, but you do have to be honest. Okay,

have heard some news this week, but I realize you
haven't heard from me, and she basically goes on to
talk about the fact that no one loves Buffy as
much as she does, and she said, I have listened

(01:17:50):
to the fans and heard your desire to revisit Buffy
and her world, but it was not something I could
do unless I was sure we would get it right.
This has been a long process and it's not over yet.
I promise you we will only make this show if

before her world transforms into color. Now number one America's
