Speaker 4 (02:09):
I think I got some soccer games my kids got
on this weekend, but I think they're in town.
Speaker 2 (02:13):
That's good. Yeah. Did you guys get your you bring
your gifts home from Laura this proby yesterday?
Speaker 9 (02:17):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (02:18):
Yeah? Yeah. Did you put it in your underwear drawer?
I did? Yeah, I did to last night.
Speaker 4 (02:23):
My underwere already smells better is it really well? My
underword in the smell because it was fresh, was clean.
But Lara brought home some stuff from Italy or social
media director and they're a little like lemon balls. Yeah,
and you put these balls in your underwear drawer and
they're supposed to make it smell better than nice or something.
Speaker 10 (02:37):
I originally said, you put these in your underwear, and
so I didn't know if that meant immediately, I didn't
know that's what you.
Speaker 6 (02:44):
Said in their pants.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
That's not you don't do that. Come on, Brian, how
are you?
Speaker 8 (02:55):
I'm feeling fine? I put this in my garage. I
think I did it wrong because I put it in
my garage. My garage and only smells.
Speaker 6 (03:01):
And the fresh upper garage you eat a little smaller space.
Speaker 2 (03:06):
Oka, Goodough, I don't I need help. Little bage like
must hear or something.
Speaker 8 (03:10):
I have Where I live it's like a townhouse. So
I have to keep my garbage in my garage.
Speaker 2 (03:16):

Speaker 8 (03:19):
The way it goes, bro, I have no space to
put it anywhere else.
Speaker 2 (03:24):
All right, thank you, it's not that bad. No, it
doesn't sound good.
Speaker 11 (03:31):
My FM listen anywhere with the free iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 4 (03:38):
One of four to three. My family, it's Valence in
the morning. Good morning to you. It is Thursday, September eleventh,
the eleventh day of September. For many of us, we
always remember that day and.
Speaker 2 (03:48):
Where we were.
Speaker 4 (03:49):
I'll never forget, right, We'll never ever forget that stuff. Then,
for kids, it's just part of history books. Now, it's
a history that's not far removed. For them, you know,
it's not that long ago when you think of like
my seven year old son or something like that, he's
learned about it in history books. But for others, you know,
us who are a little bit older, obviously, we remember
(04:09):
quite well where we were when not eleven happened.
Speaker 2 (04:12):
As you start your day today, feel free to reach
out and be part of the show.
Speaker 4 (04:15):
Three one o four three three one oh four three, Brian,
you have aning special plan for today's show that we
should know about.
Speaker 2 (04:21):
Should I tell them? John?
Speaker 8 (04:23):
Let's maybe should we surprise him?
Speaker 3 (04:27):
They're already scared, so yeah, let's surprise.
Speaker 6 (04:29):
Is it another game? It is another game, and Bella
and I are playing each other? Of course, Why doesn't
anybody else.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
Play fun this way?
Speaker 4 (04:35):
Why do you ever have any fear? Because I don't
think I've ever beat.
Speaker 5 (04:41):
You you have in geoparty once, like early on, I've
only won one time.
Speaker 2 (04:48):
Now you won last time, you won the one before.
Speaker 6 (04:50):
One second song? No, did I owe you? Guys were
pretending that vow one? Yeah, yes, that's right. One second song.
Speaker 2 (04:58):
Sure, you're just very good at this.
Speaker 6 (05:00):
What's the game?
Speaker 10 (05:01):
Well, it's music related, so I fear you Benjamin Franklin
history the songs of.
Speaker 2 (05:09):
Songs that were sung at the French court. All right, well,
well we'll surprise them.
Speaker 4 (05:14):
Okay, all right, I'm excited about that, real excited about it.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
Yeah, am I gonna look goofy? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, that's
what you like, you like, but everyone likes it.
Speaker 8 (05:26):
It's you're a lovable guy and some everyone likes to
join in.
Speaker 2 (05:29):
Then the laughs, uh huh okay, all right, sounds fun.
Speaker 4 (05:34):
It's Valentin in the morning. Good morning. We also have
what's the noise coming up? Today's a Thursday, so one
thousand dollars Thursday. Every time somebody does a wrong guess,
we had a thousand bucks to the jackpot.
Speaker 12 (05:43):
One four three.
Speaker 4 (05:48):
One four three, My fam, it is Valence out of
the morning. Janay, how are you?
Speaker 2 (05:52):
Thank you great? Janay?
Speaker 4 (05:55):
You heard Jill talking about the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. Yeah,
I haven't seen it, but now a young lady who's
from the Secret Lives Mormon Wives is gonna be the
next bachelorette. But the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, I
guess the lady on there, she exposed everybody for being
swingers or something.
Speaker 5 (06:10):
The people that were involved, And like, I have friends
who are Mormons, and I know they are nothing like
some of the ladies on this show.
Speaker 9 (06:18):
Okay, I'm glad that you realize that.
Speaker 6 (06:20):
Yes, definitely.
Speaker 9 (06:22):
Oh I love you Joe, by the way, I love
you too. We love you guys, this show.
Speaker 2 (06:27):
We Oh, thank.
Speaker 9 (06:28):
You, husband, and I every morning love listening to you guys.
Speaker 2 (06:31):
Oh thank you for that. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (06:33):
When I heard and listen, I don't know everybody's faith, obviously,
but when I heard the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,
I'm like, can you go to church if you're a swinger?
It's saying you're Mormon? Are you loud in?
Speaker 9 (06:45):
I mean, here's the thing. Everybody is welcome, yeah, and
we love everyone, but Mormon wives are not swingers. Like,
that's not a thing.
Speaker 2 (06:54):
Right. Let me ask you this, and I believe you.
Speaker 4 (06:56):
Ena I do, and I think there's probably a population
that enjoys certain things in every sect and corner and
culture of our world. If you get a pineapple at
the grocery store, how do you put it in your cart?
Speaker 9 (07:10):
How do I put it in my cart?
Speaker 4 (07:12):
Where do you put it? You put it in the
little top part? Do you just lay it in there?
Do you put spiky side down? Spiky side up? What
do you do?
Speaker 9 (07:20):
I probably laid in the bottom of my cart. That's it, okay?
Is there a leaning behind it?
Speaker 2 (07:26):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (07:27):
Be careful if you put a pineapple upside down in
your cart, is that what it is?
Speaker 6 (07:32):
That's right?
Speaker 9 (07:37):
That means you're open to you're open to being a swinger.
Speaker 2 (07:43):
I've been told by my friends who like pineapples.
Speaker 9 (07:46):
Well, I appreciate the education in the matter. And I'll
be sure to make sure I don't do that.
Speaker 2 (07:51):
Yeah, you get me. Be careful. Also, I'll give you
another one. And I learned this.
Speaker 4 (07:56):
There was a restaurant by us and I shan't say
the name, but apparently this restaurant in the town where
I used to live. If you put your car keys
at the edge of the table, is that what it was?
Joe kirkeys at the table.
Speaker 6 (08:07):
That's what I heard.
Speaker 2 (08:08):
Ah, she's learning.
Speaker 4 (08:11):
Your car keys at the edge of the table. That
was the same thing as an upside down pineapple.
Speaker 2 (08:15):
Interesting, keep those keys in the purse and buy previously
chopped pineapple.
Speaker 9 (08:22):
Yeah, Bourne just avoided all together.
Speaker 2 (08:25):
That's wild. Now were you born into the Mormon faith
or did you come to it?
Speaker 9 (08:29):
I was born into the faith.
Speaker 2 (08:30):
What about your husband?
Speaker 13 (08:32):
Same?
Speaker 9 (08:32):
Oh? Wow?
Speaker 2 (08:33):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (08:33):
And do you have like a secret life of your own?
Speaker 9 (08:36):
Is this John? Do I have a secret life of
my own?
Speaker 14 (08:45):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (08:45):
No, no secret life in this Mormon wife?
Speaker 9 (08:48):
Nothing really secret. The only I would say I'm a
normal wife mother. The only thing that's maybe different about
me is I have five kids. Not maybe very common
these days, but you know what, I gotta love those
little babies.
Speaker 2 (09:04):
Oh, I bet they're the best. Kids are great, Janay,
Can I ask you a question?
Speaker 13 (09:08):
Yes?
Speaker 8 (09:09):
I was wondering where you were too, because Brian, all right,
do you wear special underwear?
Speaker 13 (09:16):
Oh?
Speaker 9 (09:16):
My god, let's see. Let me see how I could
explain this to you. You know, how like maybe like
a preacher would wear something special, right, or like a
priest or whatever, they wear their special clothing.
Speaker 2 (09:32):
Or whatever color.
Speaker 4 (09:33):
The priest has a collar quite often in a certain
type Okay, and then during Mass he wears something different obviously.
Speaker 9 (09:39):
Yeah, so similar type situation. We do wear some things
and they're just sacred to us and same thing, like
how that would be for a priest.
Speaker 2 (09:49):
Okay, okay, all right. I love that you and your
husband find some enjoyment in our show.
Speaker 9 (09:54):
Oh yes, you guys are so fun.
Speaker 4 (09:56):
And you stay strong in your faith, and don't you
worry about about this secret lives thing?
Speaker 9 (10:03):
Yes, wanted people to know, like, I just don't want
them to think that's everyone in the Mormon faith.
Speaker 2 (10:09):
Right. Of course people paint sometimes that they broad stroke
and they shouldn't.
Speaker 5 (10:12):
I think a lot of viewers, I mean, I would
hope that a lot of viewers know that and know like,
this is such a different way of life than what
than what you're used to.
Speaker 4 (10:23):
Yeah, and you've got a hell of a choir, pardon me,
one of the best choirs ever, the Mormon choir, the
Mormon Tabernacle choir. How do you not know choirs? Sorry,
that's not my TikTok fee choir talk today, Have a
great day. Come by anytime if you guys, want to
(10:44):
sit on the couch and be.
Speaker 2 (10:45):
Here for the show. Oh yeah, love it, Thanks today,
Thank you, Okay, bye bye one.
Speaker 1 (10:51):
O four to three.
Speaker 15 (10:52):
My sm entertainment headlines.
Speaker 5 (10:56):
These scary movie films kind of spoof all of the
horror films that have come out, And Marlon Wayams is
teasing what movies are going to go after in Scary
Movie six, he says, Hedrick or Heretic, Excuse Me is
one of those films. Also, Long Legs, Get Out, Nope
and Sinners. They are all going to spoof hopefully in
this new modern day Scary Movie six. And the creator
(11:19):
of the Hannibal TV show is envisioning a dream project
that he would want Zendaya.
Speaker 6 (11:25):
To star in.
Speaker 5 (11:26):
He said, my dream project is to do a limited
series of Silence of the Lambs with Zendia starring in
the leading role of Clarice. And he said, if I
could put anything out into the universe, I would put
that into the universe. I'm Jill with entertainment headlines on
Valentine in the Morning coming up at seven twenty five,
eight thousand, two hundred dollars with Valentine the Morning's What's
(11:47):
that noise?
Speaker 6 (11:47):
And It's one thousand dollars Thursday.
Speaker 5 (11:50):
So with every wrong guess, we are adding one thousand
dollars to the jackpot that's coming up at seven twenty five.
Speaker 2 (12:02):
One of four to three. My fam, it is Valentine
in the morning. Hi Shannon, Good morning Shannon. The crowdfight?
Would you witness?
Speaker 1 (12:09):
Girl?
Speaker 9 (12:10):
So we went to an Angels game in Arizona.
Speaker 7 (12:13):
We got there for batting practice.
Speaker 9 (12:15):
We wanted to see the Angels warm up and Renhifo
pointed at my son, who was about one, and kind
of tossed the ball in our direction and we didn't
get it. It went to another guy. So Renhitho jogged over
to the fence and pointed out my son and said,
give the.
Speaker 14 (12:31):
Ball to that baby.
Speaker 6 (12:32):
Oh oh, that's nice.
Speaker 2 (12:35):
Guys, give the ball to that baby because he's my son. Yeah,
it was very special to be fair, though your kid
wasn't going to catch that ball, no no.
Speaker 8 (12:45):
No no.
Speaker 14 (12:46):
We were like behind the fence, so it wasn't going
to get directly to us anyway.
Speaker 2 (12:51):
Did the person give it to him?
Speaker 7 (12:52):
Yeah, yeah, right away, and they were cool about it.
Speaker 3 (12:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (12:55):
Yeah, that's the thing at a ball game, Like you've
got to realize that there's so many cameras on yourself.
If you're just a dude like me or John, you
have to catch a ball, you better look around for
a kid and just give it to a kid. If
you got a kid with your rocket, But if you don't,
you put it in your pocket. You're a grown man
with the ball in your Pocket's like, look around for
a kid because the cameras are on you. And then
as you give it to the kid, let's do a
(13:16):
big smile because the cameras are on you.
Speaker 2 (13:19):
That's happened at a couple of games.
Speaker 8 (13:20):
After Philly's Karen, Like, there's a Giants game, this guy
like made a big show of like yes, handing it
to a kid, like kind of waving to the crowd.
Speaker 2 (13:29):
I'm looking for a kid with this ball because I'm
a good human.
Speaker 10 (13:33):
Unless it's like a milestone show. Hey, tny home run ball.
Oh you can get some money for it, then kid,
Then the kids be on their own.
Speaker 2 (13:43):
That's right. I would agree with that. Thanks for calling in, Shannon.
Where do you live now? Where you at?
Speaker 3 (13:49):
Beautiful area La, pretty mountain views?
Speaker 2 (13:52):
Yeah, good for you.
Speaker 6 (13:53):
What do you do for a living, Shannon.
Speaker 9 (13:55):
Yeah, I'm a high school teacher.
Speaker 2 (13:56):
Oh rocket, what's subject?
Speaker 7 (13:58):
History?
Speaker 2 (13:59):
Stop it? Oh no? Why did it have to be history?
Do you love American history?
Speaker 1 (14:05):
I do?
Speaker 9 (14:05):
I teach psychology.
Speaker 2 (14:06):
Though, Oh you do? Okay, okay, I.
Speaker 4 (14:10):
Didn't know if you wanted to talk about the Articles
of Confederation or anything.
Speaker 7 (14:15):
Not particularly got it?
Speaker 2 (14:18):
All right? Well, if you ever do, keep calling back
and we'll talk about that.
Speaker 10 (14:22):
Sounds like a good idea.
Speaker 2 (14:23):
All right, thanks shan to take care a great day.
Speaker 12 (14:27):
One four to threem?
Speaker 2 (14:31):
What a four? Three?
Speaker 4 (14:32):
My fami, it's Valentine the morning. We have a young
lady that works here. She works here at iHeart and Riley.
We're gonna play a game with you today. This has
kind of going a little viral on TikTok and stuff
where people guess other people's ages, and we want okay,
pure honesty. You will not offend anybody because that's what
makes the game so great. Who do you want to
start with in the room? Jill, John, Brian, Laura Me?
(14:55):
Where's your confidence level?
Speaker 6 (14:56):
And you won't hurt our feelings?
Speaker 16 (14:57):
You really want honest guess really when people ask me,
so do.
Speaker 2 (15:02):
You want to start with me?
Speaker 6 (15:03):
Let's start with you?
Speaker 2 (15:04):
All right?
Speaker 4 (15:04):
So, how old do you think I am? And I
won't react. We'll say you the age at the end here.
Speaker 16 (15:08):
Okay, I'm going to say forty four.
Speaker 4 (15:12):
Okay, No, don't react, John, there's no reacting because we
want honesty. We don't want you playing to the crowd
like go I think you're way one hundred and twenty.
We don't want that, So you're staying with forty four.
Speaker 16 (15:23):
Oh yeah, I'll say that all right.
Speaker 2 (15:25):
Now, move on to Jill. How old is Jill?
Speaker 16 (15:26):
You are thirty one?
Speaker 2 (15:30):
Okay?
Speaker 16 (15:30):
Moving on to John, I think you're thirty as well.
Speaker 2 (15:36):
Okay, Moving on to Brian MM.
Speaker 16 (15:40):
Thirty six, thirty six.
Speaker 4 (15:42):
Okay, go on, de Laura twenty five, twenty five. Okay,
all right, now let's do this. I want you to
do this honestly.
Speaker 2 (15:50):
Again.
Speaker 4 (15:51):
This is the best part about this viral video. People
do the ages first ye, then they move on to wait.
Speaker 2 (15:55):
Oh god, no, this is fun because no one's going
to respond. No one will tell you the end. You're
not offending me. You will not offend me. No, it
will not please.
Speaker 4 (16:06):
I want you to be honest because there's no comedy
or joy in this bit if you're not totally honest.
Speaker 16 (16:12):
Okay, I'm just really bad at skill.
Speaker 2 (16:15):
Okay, just here I can what you need. Here's a twirl.
Go right ahead. You're not gonna You're not mad, I
promise you. Okay. I've set my weight on the other force,
so it's not a big secret. Go ahead.
Speaker 16 (16:29):
Let's say one sixty.
Speaker 2 (16:31):
One sixty okay, all right.
Speaker 5 (16:33):
And Joe, you do need to say if you want
your weight guest.
Speaker 2 (16:38):
Jill, John, you go ahead. One forty forty okay, Brian.
Speaker 16 (16:49):
Okay one, I'm going to say, okay.
Speaker 4 (16:56):
Laura, you don't want to play. Laura's out, okay, all right,
said away. I am not forty four. I'm a little
bit older. You were super close. Really, oh my god,
you were the closest ever the weight. You were very
far off of it, very far off. You were almost
like you're like eighty pounds off. I come in at
(17:20):
like two forty. I'm a big boy at two forty. Like,
what do you weigh? Do you weigh like a buck eight?
Speaker 2 (17:26):
One ten? All right? I was very close. I had
a buck eight. I'm very good at this game, very
good at this game.
Speaker 4 (17:31):
And John, you're thirty two sosially close in that I'm
not two thirty one.
Speaker 2 (17:36):
Yeah, oh god, so sorry, you don't.
Speaker 3 (17:39):
I don't like That's what I said.
Speaker 2 (17:41):
Yeah, you're She was thirty and yet him as one
hundred and forty.
Speaker 3 (17:44):
How much you weigh like one sixty five?
Speaker 2 (17:47):
Okay, Brian, she's got you at thirty six. You're not.
I'm not. But I loved that. I loved it great.
And she had you weighing at one thirty five.
Speaker 1 (17:56):
That's low.
Speaker 2 (17:58):
That's like my on like ten years ago for something
I've won fifty right on the dot or one fifth
in dot. Okay, Laura, she had you at twenty five
years of age, and that's pretty close. Twenty eight, pretty close.
And Jill she had you at thirty one and your
eyes lit up like the Disney princess that you are.
Speaker 6 (18:15):
I'm forty one. No way, yeah, there's no way.
Speaker 2 (18:18):
Thank you, thank you.
Speaker 4 (18:19):
Now I've guessed your weight, I'm gonna guess your age. Okay,
you are twenty three? Held you twenty two?
Speaker 2 (18:29):
I'm yeah, my day, this is my name. Well, thanks
for doing that. It was fun. It's a it's a
viral thing going around the internet. I hated that you
hated it. What did you hate about that? Guess people's
do you know my name? Do you know my name?
Speaker 1 (18:46):
Yes?
Speaker 6 (18:46):
What's my name?
Speaker 2 (18:47):
Okay?
Speaker 6 (18:49):
Do you know my name?
Speaker 2 (18:50):

a very pretty nice young lady. I'm till you're around
the office, but I always forget who you work for.

John's so happy. Well, thank you, Riley, thanks for having

Speaker 17 (19:12):
Coming back, she went, She just ran out of the studio,
slightly delayed on getting the weather.
Speaker 2 (19:18):

Speaker 4 (32:30):
I was fine. I knew what was going on. I

Are we gonna have a chat later?
Speaker 2 (33:15):

the public, So don't fall for anything you see online
out there. They said they haven't really sat because they
believe with their own assets in place, they'll be able
to determine who the shooter was. But if continued the
public's help, then they'll release to video footage of the
person or the face or etc.
Speaker 2 (34:23):
To the media, which then would ask for the public's help.
Speaker 4 (34:26):

I did it before too, I did it before ghosting.
I was like a Precasper and I regretted it, and
I may have talked about it in the year before,
and I think you may know it, and I know
the lady's name, and I've tried to apologize over the years,
not recently. I'm happily married twenty eight years now or
close twenty eight right, twenty seven years. But I just
remember a girl many years ago when I was living
(38:29):
in Boston. She called and left a message on my
answer machine, and she ended it with like, oh I
love you, oky byte whatever. And once I heard that
I love you, I was like twenty two twenty three
or something like that. I freaked out. It scared me
and I didn't know what to do, so I just
I never called her back, and I know that was Hanus.
I've been paying for that crime for many many years,

Speaker 2 (43:14):
Lawmakers in southern California considering a new entertainment tax that
could make concerts, parking, and even Disneyland much more expensive. No,
what's it all about? How much is it? Aren't we
(43:35):
taxed enough? That's coming up? Three things you need to know.
Speaker 12 (43:38):
Three things you need to know right down.
Speaker 4 (43:40):
Seven twenty four. It is Valentine in the morning. This
is one of four to three mifamaging breaking comes out
of Utah. We'll let you know any updates there. Today
is the twenty fourth anniversary as well of the September
eleventh terror attacks in New York City. Two powerful beams
of light will shine into the sky at the set
of the Twin Towers. Also tributes to playing throughout Southern
California will hold its annual Rememberance ceremony at the Training
(44:02):
Center near Dodger Stadium every year Pepperdine University. If you've
never been down there, it's beautiful what they do. They
display twenty nine hundred and seventy seven American flags to
honor the victims of nine to eleven and his little
white cards as you walk amongst the flags, where you
can write down your own special remembrance of somebody that
you would like to remember who might have been lost
in nine to eleven as well. Anaheim is considering a
(44:23):
new entertainment tax. This sent Jill over the edge a
couple seconds ago. She's calmed back down now, but here
it is Anaheim an entertainment tax on tickets and parking
at events in the city of Anaheim.
Speaker 2 (44:36):
Where is Disneyland, Anaheim.
Speaker 4 (44:40):
If this proposal is approved, it would mean you'll be
paying more to go to shows at the Honda Center,
games at Angel Stadium, and also Disneyland. Right now, one
day tickets at Disneyland started about one hundred dollars. During
the business times it can be over two hundred dollars.
What's the average price for parking?
Speaker 2 (44:56):
Jill? Oh, you have a special take a time.
Speaker 6 (45:00):
I have a magic key. A magic key, Yes, so
I don't pay for parking.
Speaker 4 (45:04):
Oh well it is now tax and the magic key,
and they say it could be twenty five percent more.
Speaker 5 (45:09):
Oh no, I want to say parking is somewhere between
twenty to thirty dollars.
Speaker 2 (45:12):
These were just taxed enough, guys. It's just too much tax.
Speaker 7 (45:16):
Right.
Speaker 4 (45:17):
I'm not saying throw the tea in the harbor, but
it's too much tax. Oh maybe a bunch of tea
did go into the harbor when those things fell off
the boat the other day.
Speaker 2 (45:26):
Probably, all right, John, what's training your music?
Speaker 10 (45:28):
So Ed Sheeron has got an album coming out tonight,
and he just said he's already got another album already
done as well.
Speaker 3 (45:34):
So he made the one tonight called Play.
Speaker 10 (45:35):
He's also made one called Rewind, and he said he
finished those at the same time. And Rewind is pretty
much ready to go, like it's going to be done
in just a couple of months. Here, he said he
made them his twin albums. But this one that's coming
out tonight, it's a little bit more into like Indian culture,
and that his next album is a little bit more
into nostalgia and that's why it's called Rewind. So we
might be getting that album within the next couple of
months from.
Speaker 2 (45:55):
Ed So play and Rewind Play and Rewind.
Speaker 10 (45:57):
Which will be the next two play is out tonight
and he'll be performing some of that at the iHeartRadio
Music Festival next week. I'm John Kamuci. That's what's trending
in music.
Speaker 4 (46:04):
What if that means we're going to get an album
called fast Forward and it's really futuristic music or something.
Speaker 3 (46:09):
Oh yeah, I said.
Speaker 10 (46:10):
He's finished one called Eject almost and it's a collection
of songs he's made over the years, and when he passes,
it will be an intentional posthumous album.
Speaker 2 (46:18):
WHOA, Oh my gosh, that's I don't know if I
like that, but okay, he said.
Speaker 3 (46:22):
People will have mixed feelings, but he's really excited about that.
Ye yeah, I think it's really cool.
Speaker 2 (46:26):

lives and be empathetic for other people. If you don't
necessarily know what that word means, feel free to jump
on board Google and look that up. But understanding having
(48:42):
a caring for other people's trials and tribulations and what
they're going through and being willing to give them some
grace and open your heart to their needs, desires, et cetera.
That's a very long definition, may not be entirely accurate.
But we just are very quick to put up walls
sometimes in society and you know kid going to school,
keep them in mind, empathetic to others feelings and what

Speaker 2 (51:45):
Money.
Speaker 6 (51:46):
We had one thousand.
Speaker 5 (51:47):
Dollars to the jackpot, so at eight twenty five, you're
playing for nine thousand, two hundred dollars.
Speaker 2 (51:52):
So we're talking about have you ever ghosted somebody? Jill?
Have you ever ghosted somebody?
Speaker 9 (51:55):
I have.
Speaker 5 (51:57):
I've done like the mutual ghosts where we both do
kind of stopped talking to each other, but I have
ghosted someone that just kept texting and calling, and you just.
Speaker 6 (52:06):
Never reached back out, didn't reply.
Speaker 2 (52:09):
Do I know this person?
Speaker 8 (52:10):
No?
Speaker 6 (52:10):
No, I went on so many like little dates here
and there.
Speaker 4 (52:13):
Got it and you said, nah, not for me, just
never replied to their text. No, And did you see
the change? Because I wonder what ghosting and when my
ghosting happened, there was no text, right, But do you
see the text change when they realize they're being ghosted?
Speaker 2 (52:28):
Is that slow roll goes? Hey Jill? What's going on?
You want to do some tomorrow night? Hey Jill? I
just I hitch up yesterday. That not sure if you
saw anything for tonight, Jill, they'll forget it. It's over
the movie. Yeah, I'm at the movie. You're not here. No,
I'm getting they've hint.
Speaker 6 (52:44):
You're right though, The text do change, right?
Speaker 2 (52:47):
Well?
Speaker 5 (52:47):
I did say like at first I would have an
excuse as to why I couldn't go out again, and
then once.
Speaker 6 (52:53):
They kept asking, I just kind of just stopped applying.
Speaker 5 (52:55):
And it's awful because I didn't want to just say like, oh,
I easily could have said I'm not feeling it, or
I don't see the chemistry. Yeah, I'm not interested that
I just chose not to respond.
Speaker 4 (53:06):
We're just so afraid of confrontations sometimes, you know, John,
have you ghosted.
Speaker 3 (53:09):
People similar to that?
Speaker 10 (53:10):
And I feel like in college I was very much
a ghoster, just like if I was talking to someone
for a short amount of time and then I felt
like it just wasn't going anywhere. I feel like that
was the sign for me to just say, hey, if
I'm not replying, that means I'm out, you know.
Speaker 2 (53:23):
Right, But we just can't tell people were not interested.
Speaker 4 (53:25):
I know, we really learned that sitting there, you know,
and maybe we shouldn't be doing that.
Speaker 2 (53:30):
Hey, CJ, have you ever ghosted somebody?
Speaker 15 (53:32):
Uh?
Speaker 7 (53:33):
Okay, So I mean, you know, I live in an
age of app dating, So I've been ghosted. I have ghosted.
There's no shame in it. But I was actually saying that. Recently,
I came up with a term for when somebody you
ghosted just reappears, and I call it a seance.
Speaker 4 (53:52):
Wait, all right, so you ghosted the person yourself, right,
You ghosted them and then suddenly they pop back up
in your life, and you call that a seance?
Speaker 13 (53:59):
Ye?
Speaker 7 (54:00):
Well, I think a seance is when somebody who ghosted
you popped back up, so I have God.
Speaker 2 (54:04):
It's okay. I just said, oh, that's very funny.
Speaker 6 (54:06):
All right, that's good.
Speaker 7 (54:07):
I had a friend who was ghosted, and then a
couple of months later the guy like reappeared and was
like wanted to have a conversation, and so I was like, oh,
he tried to pull a seance? Like, what what are
you supposed to do with that?
Speaker 2 (54:24):
It's very funny, dude, You don't.
Speaker 7 (54:27):
You don't bring them back. So I'm trying to get
in the Urban Dictionary. You guys can start using it.
Speaker 2 (54:33):
No, that's good. I like that trying to pull a seance.
That's good, man, that's very funny.
Speaker 7 (54:38):
All right, my contribution to the culture.
Speaker 2 (54:40):
Yeah, now you're putting.
Speaker 3 (54:43):
It.
Speaker 2 (54:44):
C J. You're doing well personally, everything good in your life?
Speaker 7 (54:47):
Yeah, I'm doing as good as I can.
Speaker 2 (54:49):
Amen, brother, Amen, you married kids? Anything? What's going on?
Speaker 7 (54:52):
No? I am single, but I did recently adopt a
new dog, so I guess I'm a new dog dad.
Speaker 2 (54:58):
Oh that's awesome, man, what's up? Dog you get?
Speaker 7 (55:00):
He is a azzie doodle I've.
Speaker 2 (55:03):
Never seen was kidd and shepherd half poodle.
Speaker 13 (55:05):
Right?
Speaker 6 (55:05):
Oh wow?
Speaker 2 (55:07):
Wow? Is that is that? A bigger dog, John, I
wouldn't think so.
Speaker 7 (55:10):
Probably he's actually he's actually like a little medium sized dog.
Okay in my apartment.
Speaker 4 (55:15):
Don't get mad at me. No, sound like you suddenly
screamed in the phone stage.
Speaker 14 (55:21):
I don't know.
Speaker 7 (55:21):
I'm sorry. I'm a new dad. I'm very protective of him.
Speaker 4 (55:25):
Right you should be is right? You should be all right.
Seej have a great day. Thanks for stopping by, Babe.
I appreciate you, all right, you too, goodness one of
four three My fami. It is Valentine in the morning.
I was talking about empathy a second ago and I
got this text here says Valentine. Thank were speaking up
about empathy, something your world, in our world, desperately needs,
(55:48):
especially among the younger generation. Your voice in this truly matters.
Love you, guys, And that's from Fobby. And I didn't
do a great job perhaps talking about what empathy really meant.
But as you who as you listen to the show,
and especially for like young kids, like the younger generation,
empathy is it's it's not there. It's not there because
I think we're so desensitized by stuff that we see
(56:09):
in our society, and when all the social media platforms
came in.
Speaker 2 (56:12):
It's quickly.
Speaker 4 (56:14):
It takes us from being one on one of the
human being and being inside their shoes. And empathy really
is about putting yourself in somebody else's shoes. If you've
got a friend who's nervous before a big presentation at work,
Jill's got to do something, you know, for her San
Francisco affiliate, and she's making a big sales presentation. She's
nervous about that and stuff. Empathy is when I realized
(56:34):
that I've been nervous before, I've felt those nervous before,
I can understand what you're going through. I put myself
in your shoes, so I give you the support you
need in those situations, right, And that's what empathy really
is about putting yourself in somebody else's shoes and understanding
what they're going through. And it's not necessarily there for
a lot of people in this world today. It's something
we all we can all work on, you know, as
(56:54):
a culture, as a people, as a human we can
all work on that.
Speaker 5 (56:58):
And even if you do not agree with some with
what someone has has said in the past or has
believed or put out there, empathy is just kind of realizing, Okay,
I'm going to show a little grace at this one
moment in time, you know, like just making sure that
(57:18):
I don't even know how I don't even know how
to say this correctly.
Speaker 10 (57:20):
Empathy with validating, and they get scared that if they
can empathize with someone, that that validates everything they've ever.
Speaker 3 (57:25):
It's not necessarily no.
Speaker 4 (57:27):
You can hold your own opinions. You can hold your
own beliefs and those are true and valid. But having
the emotional intelligence to understand what somebody else might be
saying is is okay, that's okay, and that's a that's
a good thing.
Speaker 12 (57:41):
One O four to three my FM. Here's what's coming up.
In entertainment headlines.
Speaker 5 (57:47):
The Emmys are this Sunday night, and Communitiannate Bergazzi is hosting,
and he has an amazing idea to keep the acceptance
speeches short.
Speaker 2 (57:56):
I can't wait to hear this.
Speaker 6 (57:57):
It's so good. I'll tell you what he's doing right
after dropping.
Speaker 1 (58:00):
One O four to three my FM.
Speaker 15 (58:02):
Entertainment headlines, The.
Speaker 5 (58:04):
New Superman movie will have a very unlikely alliance. James
Gunn's New Man of Tomorrow is going to begin filming
in twenty twenty six. It's going to be released in
twenty twenty seven, and it's going to explore a very
unlikely alliance where Superman and Lex Luthor are teaming up
to face an ever and even greater theft.
Speaker 6 (58:25):
Oh my gosh, an even greater threat. Excuse me, ever
even greater threat.
Speaker 2 (58:31):
No idea, that was fun. I like that. It's like

Well, that kind of money is worth a bad word,
but I'm not gonna say it. I'm dying.
Speaker 4 (01:25:27):
That was so funny. So lots of text people very
very excited here. We just had a winner for what
said noise Now Lisa from Pasanena. Oh, let me go
down the list, bride, you want to start with soccer ball?
Speaker 2 (01:25:38):
What is it? Okay? Lisa from Pasadena got forty two
hundred by guessing kicking a soccer ball.
Speaker 4 (01:25:44):
That was me kicking the soccer ball. Isaiah from Ventura
won forty nine hundred by guessing a lint roller. Todd
from Riverside seven four hundred by guessing a hangar. Nicole
from La eight thousand dollars by guess floss.
Speaker 2 (01:26:02):
Pulling it out of the flosster. You can hear it now,
I say right.
Speaker 4 (01:26:05):
An Angelica from Sea Sento she just won, just won
nine thousand, two hundred dollars by guessing a seat belt.
Speaker 2 (01:26:17):
Wow, so much money.
Speaker 6 (01:26:19):
That's a lot of money.
Speaker 4 (01:26:20):
I thought that was gonna go longer too. Honestly, seatbelt
was hard loss. I heard so clearly just a second ago.
Speaker 3 (01:26:26):
Yeah, the seatbelt's how I imagined it too.
Speaker 10 (01:26:29):
Like someone was just getting in the cartuched on the
seat belt and she was like, you know what, like
wait a minute, Like that's exactly how I thought it
would go down.
Speaker 6 (01:26:36):
I love how that's how it came to her.
Speaker 4 (01:26:37):
Yeah, she was actually just sitting in the car, grabbed
the seat belt and heard it. That's unbelievable. Crazy shows
me a lot of people aren't using their seatbelts or something.
Speaker 2 (01:26:47):
Oh my guys, it's dangerous out there.
Speaker 4 (01:26:50):
More money, new noise coming your way. Nine to twenty

be the final noise in this round of what said
noise A council of Noise, which is John Peek Sabrina Uh.
It's it's a lot of people that are pooping their
pants right now because we've given out more money than
(01:27:25):
they thought we're gonna give out.
Speaker 2 (01:27:26):
I guess yes, they're freaking out.
Speaker 4 (01:27:28):

bucks by guessing kicking a soccer ball. I say I
from Ventura won four nine hundred by guessing a lynch roller.
Todd from Riverside won seven thousand, four hundred by guessing
a hangar. Nicole from La won eight thousand by guessing flaws.
Angelica from San Jacento last hour she won nine thousand,
two hundred by guessing a seatbelt. So you can see
(01:27:50):
why the poopa depenza is happening. It's a new restaurant
poop depends and they're freaking out because they're like.
Speaker 2 (01:27:57):
Guys, the money's going too fast. It's too fast.
Speaker 4 (01:28:00):
We thought this would take longer, and all these noises
are going too too darn fast. Because I know when
they start this and they're like.
Speaker 17 (01:28:06):
All right, we got twenty twenty five thousand dollars this contest, guys,
and it's gotta go for like five weeks.
Speaker 2 (01:28:13):
It's gonna be great.
Speaker 4 (01:28:14):
But then you start giving out money and it goes
and goes and goes, and suddenly you're.
Speaker 17 (01:28:18):
Like, oh my god, I'm gonna have to call Bob
Pittman and it's not gonna be good, and I'm gonna
have to come and tell them. Valentine and the crew
they just kind of went crazy with what's that noise?
Speaker 6 (01:28:28):
He was their idea for a thousand dollars Thursday.
Speaker 2 (01:28:31):
That's true. I know that's true.
Speaker 4 (01:28:33):
You know they should do if they had any they
should do a ten thousand dollars Thursday.
Speaker 2 (01:28:37):
Oh please, that'd be right. That'd be insane? Are you listening,
counsel of as, that would be insane.
Speaker 4 (01:28:45):
That's gotta be the next one. So anyway, for this
particular round of what's that noise? We do this throughout
the year and stuff, but this particular round this would
be the final noise. They're hoping and praying. I hope
none of you get it, and if it goes for
years is annoying.
Speaker 1 (01:29:01):
Valentine in the mornings, what's that noise?
Speaker 4 (01:29:04):
All right, we're hearing it for the first time with
you eight six sixty five four four FM. This is

don't know.
Speaker 4 (01:29:28):
I only know if I see that. Oh you weren't here.
That's great, this is good. I see it labeled in
the system.
Speaker 6 (01:29:35):
That's just colors.
Speaker 5 (01:29:36):
Oh, every every noise is the colors.
Speaker 7 (01:29:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (01:29:39):
Yeah, so it's not that no you can no, I
just don't say it.
Speaker 2 (01:29:43):
But if you could, it doesn't it means nothing. Oh mustard, Yeah,
that's like it's not the last noise was like blue
and oh they have a little thing.
Speaker 3 (01:29:52):
So you're walking by the screen, you don't just see the.
Speaker 4 (01:29:54):
Noise like a phone operator. Somebody out there working for real.
Ninety two three is like oh third, all right, so
that means nothing. I have known you, all right, eight
sixty six five four FOURFM. If you know what that
noise is, it's one thousand bucks.

the Council of Noise because they're in a panic that
we've run.
Speaker 2 (01:30:24):
Out of money.
Speaker 7 (01:30:26):
Okay, I've tried so many times to get through.
Speaker 2 (01:30:29):
Oh have you seriously, have you known any of the
other ones where you're correct with any other guesses? No, no,
But I'm feeling great about this.
Speaker 4 (01:30:38):
All right, we'll play the noise. You have ten seconds
to identify what it is. Your jackpot is at one
thousand dollars. Okay, okay, here comes your noise. Ten seconds
in the clock for one thousand bucks, Johnny, and you kaipo,
what's that noise?
Speaker 7 (01:30:56):
I say, putting a straight through the liddle.

We have a texting platform three one oh four three
Lisa Fox now Doesser mid Is show apparently doesn't text
any of us shot nowt text in just to the
texting platform and one of the features we have. We
don't use it often because we don't know if it's
going to read it properly or not. We have a
thing where we can turn on speech for the texting
platform so it speaks to us and then we can
bring that up in the radio. We don't use it often,
(01:35:02):
but I want to do it for Lisa Fox's text
that she just sent in. This is from our midday host,
Lisa Fox.
Speaker 12 (01:35:07):

to it as one of those clabars i'n't been in
a few years. I sit and think, got blue cheese
and all the fixes and stuff.
Speaker 6 (01:35:40):
I can't have it now because I'm not intolerant. But
now I have left to give out as a Sizzlers
gift card. I love the chocolate moose that was at
the Solid Bar. Sizzler chocolate moose. Oh my gosh.
Speaker 4 (01:35:51):
There was a Salabar who went to as a kid.
It was a restaurant called Bonanza. I don't think they
ever had him out here. Bananza was back East, and
oh my god, my dad, God rest his soul. He
would get like the biggest plate of salad you ever saw,
loaded down like blue cheese and everything else, then have
