Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's the Valentine in the Morning replay.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Welcome to the breakfast table A Valentine in the Morning.
I laughed heartily.

Speaker 3 (00:07):
Help it's respectful to say I love you.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
The full show podcast starts right now.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Guys, it's Friday. Saying that right there can make your
day better. It's Friday now. I do know that some
people work second jobs, and you know, we work third jobs,
and sometimes those days bleed into each other. It's a
kid I feel bad for at the UPS store. I
had to send some stock certificate type stuff for my
mom's like stock account, which because we have to sell

(00:33):
some stuff to honestly afford memory care, you know, and
we have to sell our house to afford memory care.
So and you know, I'll chip in what I can,
but I can't do it all on my own. So
it's expensive. It is crazy expensive what memory care costs.
But that's my mom's health. We have no choice, right yes,
So there it is. So I send some stuff off
and you have to get like a medallion signature and

(00:55):
like this notarized that notorize super big castle. This kid
at UPS so his a notary's been helped me out
some stuff. Very nice kid. He works seven days a week,
seven days a week at the UPS shop and his notary.
I'm like, well, can you do some stuff on the side.
He goes, I just don't have the time. I'm working
seven days a week, you know, eight ten whatever hours

(01:16):
at the UPS store. I don't have the time for it.
And he goes, but if you did notary on the side,
can you make some money? He goes, Well, you know
it's you know, you make good money, fifteen twenty five
bucks whatever it is. There's a cap I guess on
what you can charge per notary. But he said, but
at UPS, I only make a dollar. Oh they take
the profit. Oh no, So he makes a dollar per notary,

(01:37):
and on the second page or third it's fifty cents.
So if it's a person comes in with like three
notary things, he makes a dollar in the first one,
then fifty cents thereafter.

Speaker 4 (01:46):
Oh weird, what that doesn't seem right.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
That seems like the biggest ripoff. Yeah, nicest guy in
the world, man. I told him, if I won the
big lottery, I'm coming back taking care of him. And
there are a few people that you encounter in life
sentimes when you buy a lottery ticket you go. You know,
I'll come back for this guy. I would come back
for that guy. Yeah, he's got no hair. It's weird.
This is just no, it's it's a little thing. This

(02:09):
is about how he works too much. He says, right,
he's got no hair up top, but he's got super
long hair, right, and it goes down to like his
mid check. No, he's got hold on. He's got mid
chest because all the way down but ball the top,
it's all on the side and he let it grow
and he has a hat on, and he's the funniest guy.
He goes, I work is so much, I've lost all
my hair. And he takes his hat off and it's

(02:31):
just on the side all the way down, Okay to
like his mid chest. It's the wildest thing. I'm like, dude,
just swivel that bad boy up like an ice cream
soft serve on your head.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
Yeah, he can.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Do a messy bun. That's not a good look. No,
no cool look.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
But it's nice that you you have a new friend.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
It's nice guy. I like this kid man. This is
one of those people that took their time to help
you out and the store was closing. It's not just
just come on down, be here, don't worry about it.
Nice people like that, and you see them working so hard,
like you're busting your butt. What are you busting your
butt for? They're giving you fifty cents for something that
It's just that's ridiculous.

Speaker 4 (03:12):
I know.

Speaker 5 (03:13):
The only time I ever worked seven days a week,
it only lasted about a month, and it was when
I was working at a tanning salon.

Speaker 3 (03:19):
Yeah yeah, and.

Speaker 5 (03:20):
Like everybody quit and we had two locations, so me
and then our manager at the time, we had to
split the stores. So we did that for like four weeks.
But seven days a week, and I'm sum.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Working at a ten and bid place. Not the hardest,
but not fun. I mean you sit there a lot, right, Yeah,
sitting there, you clean a bed, somebody comes in, you
turn a bed on, right.

Speaker 5 (03:42):
Yeah, you said the timer and all of that. Yeah,
it was a lot of like just watching TV, you know,
which isn't work.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
But yeah, it's ten it's getting harder to feel bad
for you.

Speaker 4 (03:50):
I don't want to feel that.

Speaker 5 (03:52):
The point in being like, I've never worked seven days
a week for.

Speaker 6 (03:55):
A long period of time, so many years I had
to do that, but I mean, I was working in
a radio station or an so it's like very cubicle
type work.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (04:02):
Like I just saw my friends, some of them also
working seven days a week, but in a restaurant on
their feet.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
That's brutal.

Speaker 7 (04:07):
I was just like, man, I just I'm so thankful
not to have to do you know.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
I never had that, and I do feel bad for
restaurant workers. I mean, obviously as a ferry boy, that
was a lot.

Speaker 4 (04:17):
Excuse me, you know, excuse me, look please.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
When I worked for Cross Sound Faerry, I we had
a song, a little bit of a boot scoot and
dance whatever, and we welcome people on board. But after that,
we're parking cars, we're moving cars, we're out there in
the open sea. It's a long island sound. They worked
as a kid. It's a tough job, man, and I

(04:46):
had to be ready to jump in if anybody went
overboard at a moment's Yeah. And there was a family
that went overboard, right, and I saved that entire family.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
Yeah, and you were still back in time for the
boot scoot and dance.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
After the exit, I got back on with the family.
By the time we lowered that ramp to take the
cars off yeah, I was there. I was there, all right.
It is Valencine in the Morning. Good morning, Welcome to Friday.
Thanks for being here.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
Guys four three my FM, my bees to now wake up.
And Valentine in the Morning.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
One O four three, my fam. It is Valentine in
the Morning. Laura is our social media director. She's been
absent from the show. She uh, oh my god.

Speaker 7 (05:32):
I did not think that was gonna.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Be so loud.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
I apologize.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
He just cracked his knuckles. I don't know if you
guys heard it.

Speaker 4 (05:37):
That goes on all morning long.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
Dude, it's so true.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
It's too much crack everything, and you're okay, no arthritis
or anything, not yet. That's a whites tale, I think, Brian.

Speaker 6 (05:45):
Yeah, your knuckles won't get arthritis, they say, But I
do crack my knuckle lot.

Speaker 7 (05:49):
You're not supposed to do that.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
Oh my kid does that too.

Speaker 7 (05:52):
Not good?

Speaker 2 (05:52):
Not good, not good. Laura. So, Laura's back from her
big trip. And this was a trip was so interesting
because it was your parents, your future in laws, yes,
your fiance yes, and I believe your fiance's sister at
one point for a little bit.

Speaker 8 (06:08):
No, she did not attend, but I will say, had
her on FaceTime most of the time. But it was
a very special trip. And I know this is so rare,
but I could not recommend it more.

Speaker 9 (06:19):
If you have, even if it's a.

Speaker 8 (06:20):
Weekend trip or you can do a small little vacation
with your parents and your in laws. It was the
most incredible experience being able to just have them one
on one and get them to bond and it was
so special.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
Good for you.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
Did you learn anything about your in laws that you
didn't know?

Speaker 9 (06:37):
I think it's more what my in laws learned about me.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
And everything's still a go right, everything is.

Speaker 9 (06:42):
Still a god.

Speaker 8 (06:43):
But what I will say is they were all very
disgusted at how close.

Speaker 9 (06:49):
Me and my fiance are. And I think this is
an interesting question.

Speaker 3 (06:53):
Why do you trust me?

Speaker 9 (06:54):
Do you toot in front of your partner?

Speaker 4 (06:57):
No?

Speaker 7 (06:57):
No, no, I try not to.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
I try not to. I feel like my wife doesn't
like that. I feel like my experience of dating women
in America over the years, they don't like to be
tooted on.

Speaker 8 (07:14):
Australia and our parents were so confused because we would say, oh, like,
we had some troubles last night, you know, we had
to get out.

Speaker 9 (07:23):
We were on a cruise and we'd have.

Speaker 8 (07:24):
To go outside, one of us at a time, and
then it got too late and we just we had
to do our Dutch op in that room together. Our
in laws, well my in laws and then my parents
were so shocked.

Speaker 9 (07:38):
And pulled it out behavior. They were like, where did
this come from? Is this normal? And I'm curious if
anyone else is like this with their partner.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
I really we're not going to do much of a
survey on this. Served do you and Olivia you're the
two youngest in the room, do you know guys?

Speaker 7 (08:00):
I mean, we talked about it a lot, but we
definitely talk about it a lot.

Speaker 6 (08:03):
Yeah, because like I do have a friend who is
one of those husbands now who will lock his wife
under the sheets.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
I thought that was not even real.

Speaker 6 (08:12):
No, I agree, and I hate that, like I to me,
that grows so disgusting. So Olivia and I we have
even said, like, deep into our marriage, we think, you know,
if that day comes someday, like we don't think that
we will be the couple that does that just because but.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
Even if that day comes someday, like what do you mean,
like you toot?

Speaker 7 (08:27):
No?

Speaker 6 (08:28):
No, Like assuming we get married and live a long
life together. We understand that things change with time, right,
and we would like to believe that we're not going
to change there like that both get gross.

Speaker 7 (08:37):
We try not to do that, right.

Speaker 2 (08:38):
I don't think that thing changes with time. You're either
that or you're not. It's not like twenty five years
ago with my wife. You know what of the gay,
the shoves, the girl covers. I've put the girl into
the cover and toot.

Speaker 6 (08:49):
Some couples will say that they're like, oh, you don't
like go to the bathroom the door open, like when
you're married for however many years, Like that'll change.

Speaker 7 (08:55):
Yeah, And like I will say that, I think so
the other.

Speaker 9 (08:57):
Liars where a door open, bathroom, household.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
I think I think you're right now. I think you're
that person where you're not. I'm not, but I don't know.

Speaker 8 (09:08):
I feel like it's just this extra level of like
comfortableness you have with your partner, Like there's nothing now
that would worry me ever about doing in front of
my fiance.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
That's great and that's good for you, but we don't
want to be in your world and we're not gonna
come over your house and use your rest or open.
Not the judgments are we never established that. Now you
need that in writing before we start the break.

Speaker 8 (09:34):
Well, don't come to my house then, because the doors are.

Speaker 2 (09:39):
Not going not going now there is like with Colin,
my son, my wife is out of town. Things are
a bit more free, and boys will be locker rooms
in front of each other. You might, oh, dude, just
toot it in front of me or whatever. Or I
can hear him using the bathroom downstairs and the door
is wide open, you know what I mean. I don't
care where boys whatever doesn't bother us, but I'd have
the respect for my wife that I wouldn't do it
in front of her. And we've made that stake too,

(10:01):
Like a door was a jar and she could hear
us using the bathroom accidents yet, yeah, it wasn't an accident,
was pak uh? And she's like, would you close that
door place? I'm like, oh, sorry, my bad. You know,
so you learn early on if your spouse is a
particular type of person or not. And I think you
respect those boundaries, you know.

Speaker 9 (10:20):
Boundaries, Yeah, boundary lists.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
Yeah, boundary lists. So you're in laws and your parents
were shocked to hear about the lack of boundaries and
when you went on a cruise, did you guys have
like a balcony or anything.

Speaker 9 (10:32):
We did, and we actually didn't.

Speaker 2 (10:34):
You have just gone out there for a few minutes.

Speaker 9 (10:36):
We would sub in.

Speaker 8 (10:37):
It just got really bad at one point we didn't
feel very well bad.

Speaker 4 (10:42):
Well, it wasn't bad food.

Speaker 9 (10:43):
We just actually both never really had beef Wellington.

Speaker 2 (10:47):
No, okay, all right, thank you, Valentine. Three one four
three's are a text line.

Speaker 1 (10:56):
Check nineties to now.

Speaker 10 (10:57):
Yeah, one four to three my FM.

Speaker 2 (11:03):
Run one of four to three. My family, It is
Valentine the morning. It's just one week to the festival.

Speaker 4 (11:11):
We're all gonna be in Vegas.

Speaker 2 (11:14):
What are you wearing right now? No, I'm physically in
front of you. I can see if you're wearing for
the festival. Do you have an ALP?

Speaker 5 (11:21):
I need to return my fashion pass order today so
then I can rent my Vegas outfits.

Speaker 4 (11:27):
So I don't know what I'm want to wear yet.

Speaker 2 (11:29):
Just see the person call me fat online.

Speaker 7 (11:31):
The comment you read to us yesterday.

Speaker 2 (11:33):
Yeah, there's a video and you can see my belly
in a certain video and the person rides, Oh my good,
look at that billy. Valentine it's like, wow, all right,
somebody can't do my defense. It's fine.

Speaker 4 (11:42):
I don't write like why why?

Speaker 2 (11:44):
Well, that's the you know, the anonymity of the Internet,
anonymity of texting platforms and stuff where you don't see
somebody's face. You're so quick to say something. You know,
we're so quick to say it. Troll's control. Trolls control.
Let me ask you something, if you'd wear Advisor or not? Okay?
And you know what advisor is? A hat, a ball
cap advisor. The gentleman who married my wife and I

(12:05):
he sense deceased. He's up there in heaven. He was
a great pastor from Crowley, Texas, wonderful gentleman, and he
would ask this question as congregation at times. If the
world could see your thoughts on your forehead like a billboard,
if the world could see your thoughts, how often would
you wear Advisor? How often would you not?

Speaker 3 (12:23):
Never?

Speaker 2 (12:24):
Why?

Speaker 7 (12:24):
That's stop peeping on my thoughts?

Speaker 4 (12:27):
Yeah, because sometimes things just come into my mind.

Speaker 2 (12:31):
Dark thoughts. Yeah, gonna work on that.

Speaker 7 (12:34):
I don't think you can. Sometimes they just pop in.

Speaker 3 (12:37):
That's what you do about your thoughts.

Speaker 2 (12:39):
I would have no hat because I'm confident the morality
and the moral compass of my thoughts?

Speaker 4 (12:47):
Are you?

Speaker 2 (12:47):
Yeah, as if you had knowledge of his thoughts. Even
Michael is shaking his head no in New York. Look
at the zoom our producer in New York and Michaels
shaking his head like yeah, no, well no, because of
my stuff, I say outloud, I don't have to put
it on it. If I say it, I'll say it.

Speaker 3 (13:06):
Yeah, that's true.

Speaker 4 (13:07):
Yeah, we do know.

Speaker 2 (13:08):
Yeah, crazy, they're right. Imagine everybody saw your thoughts. That's
black Mirror type stuff. Oh my gosh. Back to school
and I the other night and then we had like
we had a back to school meet the teacher night
and now we have a sit down this guidance counselor
for college type stuff today. So anyway, the other night,
one of the teachers was talking about science fiction and
stuff like this, and there's science fiction lit class that

(13:31):
he has literature class, and it's fascinating. But he brought
up like black Mirror or something like that, and he goes,
anybody see that the show Black Mirror in the room
and one dad raises his sand and uh or whatever,
and Leilani starts to go, oh, yeah, is that guy.
She was asking about it, and I just tapped her hand, like, no, what,
I don't say anything about Black Mirror because are Christian school.

(13:53):
And I'm like, wait a minute. The science fiction literature
teacher is watching Black Mirror and Leilani out in the
whole way. We had a free period between going to
the meet to teach your stuff, and she's like, what
is Black Mirror all about? I go, well, let me
tell you about one of the main episodes that's all
to watch so extreme.

Speaker 6 (14:14):
You're judging episode one out of all the episodes of
like eight seasons, I'm.

Speaker 2 (14:20):
Judging that was what they brought to market first. That
was the very first episode, the very first representation of
the show that they wanted to show you. This is
us and boom. It was that. It was bad.

Speaker 7 (14:34):
Everyone knows that episode doesn't count you to get past that.

Speaker 4 (14:37):
Yeah, that was bad.

Speaker 7 (14:38):
Weeds out to people that just like, can't handle it.

Speaker 2 (14:40):
I couldn't handle it. I'm sorry, I couldn't handle it. It
was too much for me. It was just too much
for me. All Right, it's Valentine morning, It's Friday. If
you guys want to be part of our show, reach
out three one oh four three.

Speaker 1 (14:51):
One four three my sm Entertainment headlines.

Speaker 5 (14:54):
Peggy Blinders and Oppenheimer's Star Achillean Murphy has denied rumors
that he will play Lord Boldemort in HBO's upcoming Harry
Potter series. He said, quote, he doesn't know anything about that,
but would he tell us?

Speaker 4 (15:07):
We'll wait and see.

Speaker 5 (15:09):
And there are a few movies in theaters this weekend,
including The Long Walk, based on the nineteen seventy nine
Stephen King novel where the government runs a contest where
one hundred men must walk until there is no until
there's only one of them left and there's no finish line.
It starts Philip Seymour Hoffmore. It starts Philip Seymour, Hoffman's
son Cooper Hoffman, and Mark Campbell. Then also Downton Abbey

(15:32):
The Grand Finale. This is the final movie in the
film trilogy, and sadly, Maggie Smith passed away in September
of last year, so she won't make an appearance in
this film, but there is a dedication to her at
the end of the film. I'm Jill with entertainment headlines
on Valentine in the Morning.

Speaker 2 (15:53):
One fourth three My Fan It is Valentine in the morning.
We did a topic yesterday and every now and then
topics like red ate with people and they go, oh,
I wanted to call in for that, never get on.
So we have all these texts from people that wanted
to be on the show yesterday didn't get a chance.
So Brian, who'd you got? Like two of them? Brian
called two people that wanted to be on the air
yesterday to talk about this. The annoying coworker, Not so

(16:15):
much them, but the little annoying thing they do that
just bugs you a little bit. This is a very
tongue in cheeks, so don't go too hard. Natalie, what
do you got?

Speaker 11 (16:23):
Okay, Well, we work in an office, Setty.

Speaker 12 (16:26):
It's five of us in a in an office and
it's cubicle.

Speaker 13 (16:30):
So then we all.

Speaker 14 (16:32):
Of a sudden we hear like a clip, like a
flicking of the well, we think it's a flicking, flicking.

Speaker 2 (16:36):
Of a pen, flicking of a pen.

Speaker 15 (16:38):
Sound okay, yeah, So so it's her clipping her nails.

Speaker 2 (16:44):
Oh so it sounds like the flicking of a pen.
It's her clipping her nails. We have to ask the
important question, though, is she getting the remnants of the
nails or are they flinging themselves across the office.

Speaker 16 (16:55):
No, we haven't caught one glove.

Speaker 12 (17:00):
Sometimes, like we know, sometimes we rotate like this because
there's different stations, so sometimes we feel them right down
the keyboard.

Speaker 4 (17:07):
Oh that's gross, that's so gross.

Speaker 16 (17:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 17 (17:10):
Yeah, so onetimes you found on my desk.

Speaker 15 (17:12):
I was like, oh hex no, So I had to
like turn over shake my keyboard and there's like a
bunch of nails right then.

Speaker 18 (17:19):
Oh no, no.

Speaker 2 (17:20):
That's not right. Just doing a little trim work here.
That is the worse you ever like cut one of
your nails, Like even at home, like you know, you're
in your bathroom and your wife and you have the
same bathroom up and you cut a nail and it
goes somewhere and you're like and you can't find it.
Oh no, she's gonna yell at you later on. It's

(17:40):
like the adult version of Legos. Thanks for callin love.
You have a great day.

Speaker 7 (17:44):
Okay, thank you too.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
Hey, good morning, Andre, How are you today? Good?

Speaker 19 (17:48):
How are you doing all right?

Speaker 2 (17:49):
Tell us about that annoying coworker.

Speaker 11 (17:51):
Well, it's it's a.

Speaker 13 (17:52):
Hard thing to say that it's annoying because it's actually
really nice, but it does get annoying after a while.
So almost at least I say three to four times
a week, and this coworker wild just tell me how
much she loves her job, loves working with me, thinks
I'm so amazing, loves working at this company, and then
afterwards be like, don't you also love this company? Don't

(18:13):
you also love working here so much?

Speaker 2 (18:15):
Yeah, that seems like that would get annoying because we
all want to, you know, say bad things.

Speaker 13 (18:20):
Yeah, and I love my company.

Speaker 2 (18:23):
But yeah, we love our company, I know, but it's
a bit much, right, It's like having sweets every day.

Speaker 13 (18:28):
Yeah, And after a while it just feels like, are
you trying to get me to say something? Are you
like undercover?

Speaker 2 (18:36):
Yeah, we've got a guy here that loves everything too much. Dude,
loves our boss. He never says like anything bad about
our boss.

Speaker 3 (18:44):
And we've tried back.

Speaker 2 (18:46):
Oh hey, John, Right, I.

Speaker 11 (18:49):
Love it too, We all love it.

Speaker 13 (18:51):
My last job wasn't great, But like, I don't need
to tell you three to four times.

Speaker 2 (18:55):
A week, right, it's a bit too much. You can't
do an acceptance speech every day. Get off the state.

Speaker 13 (19:00):
Exactly exactly how I like everything with day. Like, I'm
just love you so much.

Speaker 11 (19:06):
You're such a good worker.

Speaker 13 (19:07):
I love that you're here. You're so amazing. I'm like,
I also agree, but I don't need to tell you
every single.

Speaker 4 (19:13):
Day, Angela, what do you do for a living?

Speaker 13 (19:14):
By the way, I'm a definite hard of hearing specialist.
I work with kids that have hearing loss.

Speaker 7 (19:19):
Oh what are you doing?

Speaker 2 (19:25):
You're making such an impact.

Speaker 13 (19:27):
I do feel impactful every day. I do love my job.
I just don't say it every single day.

Speaker 2 (19:33):
Well, keep it up, keep doing this amazing work you're doing.
What a beautiful, wonderful job you have.

Speaker 13 (19:37):
Thank you so much, Sodia. Guys, I enjoy listening to
you with my son in the car every morning.

Speaker 2 (19:42):
I'll tell you someone said, Hi, what's his name?

Speaker 11 (19:44):
His name's Elliott.

Speaker 13 (19:44):
He doesn't really know yet, but he'll love you, guys soon. Okay,
he's only two, but I'm sure he loves it. Thank
you so much.

Speaker 2 (19:53):
One O four three FM one of four three My family,
It is Valence in the morning. Hey, good morning, buddy,
good morning.

Speaker 19 (20:01):
How you doing.

Speaker 2 (20:02):
What's going on? What do you want to talk about?

Speaker 19 (20:04):
Married my best friend over the weekend and we're like
really excited and we're still enjoying the high up the dolphin.

Speaker 2 (20:09):
Oh, that's awesome. What's her name?

Speaker 19 (20:11):
Her name's Olivia.

Speaker 2 (20:12):
Oh, John's girlfriend named Olivia.

Speaker 3 (20:14):
Sounds like my future. Let's hope.

Speaker 19 (20:17):
It was just it was a backyard, beautiful, magical thing
that was just put together in just amazing.

Speaker 5 (20:23):
And so often with a big wedding, or even any wedding,
there's the build up and you're doing all this planning
and you're getting there, and then there's that crash right
after of like oh no, no, not in a not
a bad way, but.

Speaker 4 (20:37):
Like you wake up and.

Speaker 2 (20:42):
Are you talking about your own wedding kind.

Speaker 5 (20:44):
Of you wake up and you're like, oh, I don't
have anything to do today that's wedding related. Now I
get to just enjoy us and it's so wonderful to
just be in that newlywed phase. And I hope it
continues for the both of you for a long time.

Speaker 19 (21:00):
Thank you, thank you, Yes, we hope. So, like I said,
we've been together for several years, so it was just
time to do it, and now that we did it,
just it feels amazing. And she looked absolutely stunning and
beautiful so it was a perfect moment.

Speaker 11 (21:12):
Love it.

Speaker 2 (21:13):
Congratulations well Jill, Speaking for Nick and myself and John
and Brian, we all hope that your new little phase
continues as well.

Speaker 4 (21:20):
Oh it will, and you guys are going to hear
about it every day.

Speaker 2 (21:23):
We love it.

Speaker 14 (21:26):
That was a.

Speaker 2 (21:32):
One O four three, my fam. It is Valentine in
the morning. Let's launch in the first sip. First sip.
Today's about telling people when you're proud of them, telling
people when they've made the right choice, that when they've
done well in life. You know, positive affirmations is something
I'll al us look forward to. Raises at work are
great and we all want them right, but sometimes a
boss can tell you like, hey, you're doing a great job. Hey,

(21:53):
that's working out. Hey, I'm proud of you. We're proud
of you, coming's proud of you.

Speaker 11 (21:57):
Whatever.

Speaker 2 (21:58):
And I had the college sit down with my son
last night and my wife with his college counselor, and
you see the work your kid has put in over
the past number of years, the hard work for the
grades and stuff, and also the reminder that even though
it's senior year, it's not take your foot off the
pedal because there's always a chance that the way schools

(22:20):
roll and how they admit people, maybe your early decision,
your early action, all the eighty one eighty two, all
these terms. If you're a parent, that you'll learn as
you cake is close to college. You might have somebody
putting you on a deferred list, and all of a
sudden they want to talk to you in January or
February something to be in their college of choice, and
then your grade's better be good. So you can't just
put your feet up. But I wanted to tell him

(22:42):
how proud I was and I did of the work
that he'd done over all these years, because you look
at the grades and they're good, and he's put the
work in, he's taken the extra courses, and he's done
the extra stuff, and hopefully he's going to end up
wherever it is right for him. College is one of
those things you can say, I want that one, it's
got that great name, it's whatever. Oh my gosh, I

(23:02):
gotta be a brew and I gotta be whatever. But
the right place for your kid is what you're hoping for,
the right place where they can thrive. The college with
the name on it is a college with the name
on it. The X factor is a child in college
without an incredible name for the entire country to go,
oh my god, I love that school. Well, the X
factor is still your child, so the name doesn't matter

(23:24):
as much in my opinion as what your child brings
to the table, and what he's brought to the table
so far has been fantastic. Is very proud of him.
So if you're proud of somebody today, proud of what
they've done, share that, let them know, let them know
they've done a great job. John Kiwichi has got a
new music Friday. Will we be proud of him? You

(23:47):
and I are going to find out together. Next here's
Sam Smith.

Speaker 3 (23:52):
I guess it's true. I'm not good at a one.

Speaker 2 (23:54):
It's one of four to three, my fam. It is
Valentine in the morning. It is six forty three. Good
morning to you. I understand that we've we've fixed some
microphones and headphones in here today, so you guys should
no longer complain about what's the noise? That weird stuffing.

Speaker 4 (24:13):
Happened, right, and of course what that noise is done?

Speaker 2 (24:15):
Yeah right, exactly, what's a nice done? We fixed it,
good time. But of course everyone for the past hour
and a half is like, does my voice sound weird?
I don't know if the microphones are differently fixed something.
But I can't talk about this because I got in
trouble for talking about one time before. So John new
music Friday. Let's get right into it, brother.

Speaker 7 (24:29):
A couple of songs for you today.

Speaker 6 (24:30):
First off, of course, Ed Sheeran his new album Play
is out today, So this is one of those lead
singles off of it, called Camera.

Speaker 20 (24:37):
You're frozen in motion, A perfect picture in a frame.
Some visions don't have a face. I don't need a
camera and a capture this, moll man.

Speaker 2 (24:55):
I remember have you seen the video I have? And
that was a direct video, wasn't it. It wasn't actually
footage from their cameras. I don't think.

Speaker 7 (25:03):
I think it was filmed on an iPhone.

Speaker 2 (25:05):
Right.

Speaker 7 (25:05):
They were saying, and he didn't use his wife because
he wanted to keep some privacy.

Speaker 3 (25:09):
Oh girl, it's a Phoebe.

Speaker 4 (25:12):
Denever, I think I think that's how you say it.

Speaker 2 (25:13):
I thought it was his wife.

Speaker 6 (25:15):
No, yeah, whoops, he decided not to use her just
because they wanted some privacy in their marriage.

Speaker 2 (25:19):
Well, they go, yeah, he.

Speaker 6 (25:21):
Got an actress to good and I heard they filmed
it all on iPhone. Not sure how real that is.
But the song is called Camera, and it's about those
moments in life worth capturing, even if they ingrained in
your mind, Like sometimes you don't need that camera because
it's so impactful that like you can see it in
middle and grain and imprint in your mind. So that's
kind of what this song is about. And Ed Cheron
this entire album, it's pretty much about his wife and daughters,

(25:41):
like there's so much love in here.

Speaker 3 (25:43):
And he's got a ton of performances coming up. Of course.

Speaker 6 (25:45):
Next weekends one of his first performances at the iHeart
Radio Music Festival in Vegas, and then tomorrow he's doing
a live performance on TikTok, So if you have TikTok,
you can open it up at three twenty tomorrow.

Speaker 7 (25:56):
Ed Cheron's gonna go live and perform a bunch of these.

Speaker 6 (25:58):
Songs from the brand new album because his album Play
is out today, I Remember.

Speaker 19 (26:09):
Now.

Speaker 3 (26:09):
Next up, we're gonna switch things up just a little bit.

Speaker 6 (26:11):
Here we got a new release from Demi Levado. She's
got an album coming. This is her upbeat track called
Here All Night.

Speaker 2 (26:21):
On the dance the lights again.

Speaker 4 (26:30):
This songs he just like want to Running Place.

Speaker 6 (26:37):
I feel like when I first heard this one, it
was almost like so fast that it was jarring.

Speaker 3 (26:41):
But I feel like that's kind of the point of that.
She's pushing through a breakup.

Speaker 6 (26:44):
That's kind of this song. She's like, I'll be here
dancing all night. I'm okay dancing, running running place.

Speaker 2 (26:51):
Ye just got it. That's what you want.

Speaker 6 (26:53):
That is not what I expect anything like that.

Speaker 2 (26:58):
Yeah, that was interesting. We should do I thought about
this years ago and I've never done it. Treadmill trivia. Well,
we put you on a treadmill. That's very funny, and
you know, as the questions go on, the speed goes up,
and so you can't you can't think as easily. Yeah,
because the treadmill you're running out of trying not to
fall off. I like it. It's like chewing gum, and

(27:19):
you know.

Speaker 3 (27:20):
I like it. Well, a lot of guys are on
Demi Levado.

Speaker 6 (27:23):
Of course, she went rock I think in her last album,
and this one is back to like dance pop, so
it's very upbeat. She came out with the Jonas Brothers
and a lot of people are excited for her album
to come out.

Speaker 3 (27:31):
This is here all.

Speaker 6 (27:32):
Night and then finally here. I thought this was an
interesting release. An artist named Caleb Scott. He's an English artist.
He was on British Britain's Got Talent a couple of
years ago and he was known for this cover of
Robin's Dancing on My Own. But he's got this cool
new track out today. It's kind of a blend of
old and new. It's a duet with Whitney Houston. It's
I want to Dance with Somebody, but it's reimagined as

(27:53):
a ballad.

Speaker 4 (27:57):
Now it's the light of day shows me how and when.

Speaker 21 (28:03):
The night balls, loneliness calls. I wanna dance for somebody.
I want to feel it with somebody. Day, wanna dance somebody.

Speaker 2 (28:22):
With somebody who lost me?

Speaker 3 (28:27):
I wanna dance somebod.

Speaker 2 (28:29):
I think it's freaking cool, isn't it. I also just
love that we have the tech and the ability to
do something like that. So that's the actual song. Yeah,
everything's stripped out, just her vocals.

Speaker 3 (28:38):
Original Whitney vocal stands.

Speaker 12 (28:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (28:40):
It's been forty years since her career began, and.

Speaker 6 (28:43):
I think there's something about a traditional duet, you know,
just two voices together like that Powered watched.

Speaker 20 (28:49):
My Senses, spending in food, the Time, Sooner, Letter.

Speaker 3 (28:57):
The fee, the and so Kaylem was.

Speaker 6 (29:03):
Actually opening for Ed Sheeran, and he performed a striped
down version of this song and it did so well
and it went so viral that for forty years since
Whitney's career began. He decided to come out with an official,
the recorded version of it as a duet with Whitney Houston,
and he got.

Speaker 3 (29:16):
The approval from her stage.

Speaker 10 (29:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (29:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (29:19):
It even opens with her alone, just so you can
like let her lead.

Speaker 2 (29:22):
The way you have to have to.

Speaker 3 (29:25):
So it says, I want to dance with somebody from.

Speaker 7 (29:26):
KYLEM Scott and Whitney Houston.

Speaker 2 (29:29):
How guts you are doing stuff with Whitney Houston. I
think that guy must have a pair on him, a
pair of what Jill?

Speaker 22 (29:37):
No, No No.

Speaker 6 (29:40):
They have a newly released playlist on the free iHeartRadio app.
If you want to find some new music that just
dropped this week.

Speaker 3 (29:45):
So I'm John Kamuchi. That's your new music. Faday, Thanks John, enjoying.

Speaker 21 (29:56):
Somebody who lost me?

Speaker 1 (30:10):
He'll take a chance on a lot.

Speaker 3 (30:13):
Burns hot enough to.

Speaker 1 (30:15):
Lass so where the bulls alone?

Speaker 11 (30:26):
So bad?

Speaker 2 (30:29):
So this is out as a single today. Yeah, yeah,
we should play it. I mean we are right now,
but I mean in rotation or something like that.

Speaker 3 (30:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (30:36):
I missed Whitney Houston and I know, like your generation
you knew her, right John, Yeah, but do you know
mom or how'd you know her?

Speaker 3 (30:43):
We know just because the songs are so popular, Like
you can't avoid these songs. They're in movies, like.

Speaker 2 (30:47):
Yeah, they'll pop up.

Speaker 7 (30:48):
We just know them. Of songs from the past that
have made an impact, we weren't.

Speaker 6 (30:52):
Really around to like see Whitney Houston didn't be around
during that time, you.

Speaker 2 (30:56):
Know, right, Yeah, gosh, she was so good and that
national anthem orhears oh my god.

Speaker 3 (31:02):
Yeah, there's certain things are so iconic, you know, and
the drum bit.

Speaker 2 (31:09):
Tribute to I didn't think that one now, but you
know what I'm talking about.

Speaker 22 (31:17):
Of course.

Speaker 2 (31:17):
Yes, I was gonna try and sing it and I
fell into like a kermit or something. I don't know
what happened there. One O four three my FM.

so even more pleased that you followed me going, you

(33:40):
your husband love earth when a fire does?

Speaker 3 (33:42):

Speaker 4 (33:46):
He was so jealous, right right?

Speaker 2 (33:47):

told you he could have come Dan, I said, tell
him to come on down. I had a plus one.

Speaker 2 (36:00):
I don't know if it's good for you not though.
They're just like they feel like they're just a little gelballs, right.

Speaker 7 (36:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (36:06):
It's so hard though to get them out, even with
the big straw, and it's so annoying, I think to
the passengers in your car when you're just like hammering
down on the ice and you're like, and then you
get a chunk of ice goes in there, tune, it's
a bigger straw, and you're like, oh, I.

Speaker 5 (36:20):
Haint swallowing a cube of ice accidentally, you know, when
you swallow a big ice cube accidentally.

Speaker 2 (36:27):
I don't swallow big guys cub accidentally.

Speaker 4 (36:29):
I don't know to, but they just sometimes.

Speaker 7 (36:33):
It's comforting because you know, if you just wait it out, Yeah, it's.

Speaker 3 (36:37):
You're gonna live.

Speaker 2 (36:39):
What the ice cube blocking your throat?

Speaker 7 (36:40):
You may not, No, you just waited long enough.

Speaker 4 (36:44):
I just add some more liquid and that'll bring it
down a little bit.

Speaker 2 (36:47):
Uh huh.

Speaker 4 (36:48):
Okay, you've never swallowed an ice cube?

Speaker 5 (36:50):
Hole?

Speaker 2 (36:51):
No? Is that something people do?

Speaker 3 (36:54):
I do, John does, Brian, I can't relate to this one.

Speaker 4 (36:57):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (36:58):
Like a large ice cube, I don't like hub dice
or something.

Speaker 3 (37:01):
Here in a boba straw because those straws are bigger.

Speaker 2 (37:03):
No, I get that, but I feel the cube in
my mouth usually before I swallow, right, I don't have
what apparently you guys have the and it goes straight down.
Oh yeah, I tend to have something in my mouth
before I swallow it. Oh yeah, I know, wow. All right,

Speaker 11 (40:30):
Hey, everybody, have a great weekend, great game. Hey have
a great time over there. I heard needs the festival.

Speaker 2 (40:36):
Thanks buddy, appreciate you live. It's coming up. Three things
I need to know. If you're a fan of Chipotle,
they're giving away free burritos, but you have to wear
something special to get one. Oh my god, this one's
easy though, No, But I mean the whole thing is
like you're sending in that line. They're pressuring you with
all the meats and the bowls, and it's so hard
and they gonna wear something too. Oh my god. Last

(41:00):
thing I need. We'll tell you what it is. They'll
come up. Three things I need to know.

Speaker 1 (41:03):
Three things you need to know right now.

Speaker 2 (41:07):
You might have money coming your way because you used
this product. There's been a big settlement seven hundred and
twenty five million dollars. Facebook has started sending out money
to millions of people as a part of a settlement
over claims that they shared users data without permission. That
was sending out seven hundred and twenty five million dollars.

(41:28):
But that money is going to be spread out to
a lot of people. Anybody in the US, Oh, who
used Facebook during a fifteen year period is eligible for
a payment.

Speaker 4 (41:40):
Oh wow, okay, how he's.

Speaker 2 (41:42):
A fake name though? Oh shoot, I's just peeping on people.
That means payments will range from between five dollars to
thirty dollars. Well how did they find you?

Speaker 1 (41:53):
What?

Speaker 2 (41:53):
If you like U Leilani doesn't have a Facebook anymore?
You do have to take the initiative, like opting in.
Oh so I was wondering the opt ins, Like, let's say,
just it's seven hundred and twenty five million dollars, right
and we all just forget and no one announces it
and two people opt in? Are they splitting the seven
twenty five? Is that how it works? So if you're
a lawyer, let me know that I like class action

(42:14):
suits and payouts like this. If people just forgot to
opt in, this is the obviously it's not gonna happen.
And one person opts in, does that one person get
seven hundred and twenty five million dollars because you say
the range of price here is five bucks to thirty bucks. Yeah,
but if less people opted in, do they just spread
it out evenly? Or is there some kind of scam?
It was a scam. There's got to be a scam, right,

(42:35):
the lawyers get it all. Chipotle is giving away free
burritos on Monday, but to get one, you need to
be wearing a college football jersey. It's a buy one,
get one free deal and it applies to any entree
item on the menu. The promotion starts Monday at five pm.
Like many restaurant change, Chipotle has been dealing with the
decline in sales recently. They've been trying new ways to
bring in more customers. Well, if I'm Chipotle, I'd make

(42:57):
that line a bit easier and not so high pressure
sales tactic. What do you wanted to bowl? Give your meat,
give your base, give me your rice, give me your
I don't know, in.

Speaker 4 (43:05):
Case you don't know, If val Get's very stressed, when
he goesage fun.

Speaker 2 (43:07):
Yes, I went the other night. I had to go,
like nine thirty at night, just not to be stressed,
and it was no one. There was so great. I
took my time, but even then I felt stressed, John,
what's training your music?

Speaker 6 (43:18):
In case you missed this news this week, Coldplay had
something pretty exciting to share. If you were bummed out
because maybe you missed them when they were in town
last or when they announced their Vegas dates. Maybe you
couldn't make that either. There's still hope. At a recent concert,
Chris Martin just said that his music at the spear
Stour still has one hundred and thirty eight more shows.
Oh show, they're about to take a break for twenty
twenty six, and then they announced all those shows will

(43:38):
come in twenty twenty seven. So one hundred and thirty
eight shows are still on the way. Likely they'll be
coming back somewhere around here too.

Speaker 2 (43:44):
So cool.

Speaker 6 (43:44):
If you miss Coldplay, you can still see him in
twenty twenty seven. I'm John Camuci. That's what's trending today
in music.

Speaker 2 (43:48):
We're gonna do Happiness coming up next. Anything in your
life that's making you smile? Could you share that with us.

college friend. We went to college over thirty years ago,
and I get to see her today and go to
lunch with her as she's passing through down.

Speaker 2 (44:50):
Oh that's so cool.

Speaker 4 (44:51):
Have you not seen her at all since you guys
were out of college.

Speaker 14 (44:54):
We saw each other, you know, here and there. You know, marriages, divorce,
marriages and that sort of thing. But we really haven't
sat down and like, what do you want to ask her?

Speaker 2 (45:04):
What do you want to tell her?

Speaker 14 (45:06):
You know, I just want to give her a great
big hug and tell her I love her, and you
know I miss her and just catch up. I'm sure
it'll be just like it was, you know yesterday.

Speaker 15 (45:17):
Right, you get sit down and start.

Speaker 11 (45:18):
Talking, you know.

Speaker 2 (45:19):
Yeah, Oh that's so cool. Where'd you guys go to school?
What college?

Speaker 14 (45:22):
We went to Fresno State?

Speaker 2 (45:24):
Yeah? What did you study at Fresno?

Speaker 14 (45:26):
I studied business administration?

Speaker 2 (45:28):
Yeah? And what does she what she become?

Speaker 14 (45:31):
She actually became she works for the state.

Speaker 2 (45:36):
So you don't know, you should ask me.

Speaker 11 (45:39):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (45:42):
The first question the radio guy said, what do you do?

Speaker 23 (45:46):
What do you do?

Speaker 14 (45:47):
I know she was an instructor before and she's been
in education all these years.

Speaker 2 (45:52):
All right, Well, Sandra, have a great time. Catching up
with old friends is always so special.

Speaker 14 (45:56):
Oh thank you you guys. Have a great day and
have a great weekend.

Speaker 2 (46:00):
Thanks, love you too, Take care, bye bye. Next to
Valentine in the morning at three one oh four to three.
All right, it is seven thirty five. It's Valentine in
the morning. This is one of four to three MIFM
weather today. If you want a cloud Sunday sst afternoon
seventies and eighties. How great was it yesterday that weather?
Oh my gosh, guys, I thought about wearing a jacket today.

(46:21):
I didn't, but I was gonna bring up my old
red and black plaid jacket that you see me wear
quite often in the winter. Right, thought about it after
the weekend's sunny, warm eighties and nineties boo by Sunday
sixty four in San Gabriel sixty five in Tustin. Jill's
got the entertainment headlines Coming up.

Speaker 5 (46:36):
We now have a release date and an official title
for the next Super Mario Brothers movie.

Speaker 4 (46:42):
I'll tell you what it's gonna be called. Coming up
at seven fifty.

Speaker 2 (46:44):
Julie, good morning. How are you today?

Speaker 15 (46:47):
I'm great?

Speaker 21 (46:47):
How are you?

Speaker 2 (46:48):
We're doing good. What's your happy news?

Speaker 15 (46:50):
My happy news is my daughter, who's almost thirty, just
got a job after looking for almost almost a year.
She was out of work last October.

Speaker 2 (46:59):
Oh wow, And what does she do? What's her expertise?

Speaker 15 (47:03):
She was in banking and the bank decided to just
lay off a bunch of people after she joined there
only three months. But now she's working in climate. She's
working on you know, helping clean up our air.

Speaker 2 (47:18):
Oh really, that's great. Oh that's great. Yeah, So she's
a climatologist.

Speaker 15 (47:24):
Well, it's more like a startup that cleans the air
with what they do. Oh yeah, it's really great, but
clean the air. She's almost thirty. Yeah she's clean the air.
Help with lik admissions and yeah, things like that, so
we can all breathe better over the next few years.

Speaker 2 (47:39):
Right, right, Yes, I'm.

Speaker 15 (47:40):
Really excited if she's turned thirty without a job.

Speaker 2 (47:42):
I was you're getting nervous about it. What was her secret?

Speaker 7 (47:47):
Did she find it online?

Speaker 3 (47:48):
Did you have to meet somebody?

Speaker 19 (47:50):
Like?

Speaker 7 (47:50):
How did she get introduced.

Speaker 2 (47:51):
To this job?

Speaker 15 (47:53):
Persistent? She probably applied for hundreds of jobs and interviewed
maybe three or four times a week. Yeah, she just
kept at it and she it was It was rough,
but I got to say it's persistence.

Speaker 2 (48:06):
Persistence breaks resistance. That's how it works. Good for her, Hey,
pass this on to her, Okay, And I'm just putting
it out there because I'm a good person. I have
this invention. It's a bunch of like picture like hot
air balloons, and on the bottom of the hot air balloons,
they have these carbon scrubbers that scrubs the air clean
and they float around the world and then when the

(48:27):
carbon fills up enough, they just come back down to
the ground due to weight. Huh.

Speaker 15 (48:33):
That's a great idea, A great idea. I will definitely
pass it on to our.

Speaker 7 (48:38):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (48:39):
And you can even tether them so they don't get
into like the space of the airplanes and stuff like
a long rope.

Speaker 15 (48:44):
That's a good ad. Yeah, that's that's a good fish.

Speaker 24 (48:47):
I like that.

Speaker 2 (48:48):
Thank you very much. Let me know what she says.

Speaker 15 (48:52):
I will, I will for sure.

Speaker 2 (48:54):
Okay.

Speaker 15 (48:54):
I've listened to you guys for fifteen years. I listened
every day even though I moved out of the area.

Speaker 19 (48:58):
So, oh, I love you.

Speaker 25 (49:00):
Well.

Speaker 2 (49:00):
Where are you living now yourself?

Speaker 15 (49:02):
I'm living in Washington, DC, but I lived in southern
California for ten years. Oh my gosh, wow, it was
like forty years in California.

Speaker 2 (49:09):
But and you still listen via the iHeart.

Speaker 23 (49:12):
Radio app of course.

Speaker 11 (49:13):
Yeah, every day?

Speaker 2 (49:14):
Love it. Are you in the Christmas card list?

Speaker 25 (49:17):
No, no, I'm not hangk Tight.

Speaker 2 (49:19):
We're gonna get you on it.

Speaker 15 (49:19):
Okay, okay, great, thanks, have a good day.

Speaker 2 (49:22):
Thank you too, Hank Tight. Happy news. If you've got
to reach out three one O four three call us
eight sixty six five four FOURFM. She's just say as
you like the scrubber dude. She loved it.

Speaker 4 (49:32):
I know, sound excited about it.

Speaker 2 (49:34):
I know I really now regret saying it because I'm
not going to make any money off. But I put
it out there. Everyone's going to steal it. I could
have been like, have Valentine's scrubs, Valentine scrubs your air?

Speaker 3 (49:44):
Somebody dunn.

Speaker 2 (49:51):
Here. It is one of four to three, my fam,
It's Valentine in the morning. We've got the Battle of
Sex is coming up after eight o'clock, Up for grabs,
Nightmare before Christmas at the Hollywood Bowl. If you're a
Skellington fan, you want to go to this that is

two years ago talking about how I was going out
to the out of state to see my now fiance
and two years later we got engaged.

Speaker 2 (50:37):
Oh god, dude, that's fantastic. Thanks for us staying in

Speaker 2 (51:02):
When's the wedding going to be any idea yet? Are
you going to figure it.

Speaker 23 (51:04):
Out sometime in twenty twenty six? We think we haven't
set a date yet because you're kind of in the
process of getting me moved out there. But then once
once we're out there and things have settled down a
little bit, we'll probably start planning.

Speaker 2 (51:15):
Where's where's the there?

Speaker 23 (51:18):
Illinois?

Speaker 2 (51:18):
Illinois? Wow?

Speaker 22 (51:21):
Yep?

Speaker 19 (51:21):
Ken.

Speaker 7 (51:21):
Do you think you surprised her or did you see
it coming?

Speaker 19 (51:23):
Oh?

Speaker 25 (51:24):
No, she was totally surprised. And the thing I was
super worried about was she's really good at figuring things
out like that, and I was extremely worried that she
was going to figure out that I was proposing ahead
of time, but I managed to completely surprise her.

Speaker 11 (51:37):
She had no idea.

Speaker 2 (51:38):
Wow, you married a snoop snoopop stup ken. Congrats man,
that's great. Please give our best to her as well.

Speaker 17 (51:56):
I am going to watch Toy Story for the thirtieth
anniversary at All Capricain Theater.

Speaker 5 (52:03):
When I saw those tickets go on sale, I thought
that would be so fun to go to.

Speaker 1 (52:07):
I'm so excited.

Speaker 5 (52:08):
And the El Capitana is fun for Disney movies, like
the little intros that they do and the fun snacks,
and like the memorabilia they have in the lobby.

Speaker 4 (52:17):
It's cool.

Speaker 17 (52:18):
First time there, never been there.

Speaker 4 (52:19):
Oh, you're gonna love it.

Speaker 11 (52:20):
I'm so excited.

Speaker 16 (52:22):
Question.

Speaker 17 (52:22):
Can I be in your Christmas card list?

Speaker 22 (52:24):
You know?

Speaker 2 (52:25):
Think about the Christmas cad list? You're on it? Okay,

Speaker 5 (52:43):

is returning for Spaceballs Too, but it's pretty.

I'll tell you what that is.

Speaker 1 (52:56):

Mario Brothers movie will be called the Super Mario Galaxy Movie.
It's gonna be released April third of twenty twenty six,
almost exactly three years after the first movie, and Chris Pratt,
Anya Taylor Joy, and.

Speaker 4 (53:19):
Jack Black will all be back for this sequel.

Speaker 5 (53:22):
And speaking of sequels, the original Spaceball's movie came out
in nineteen eighty seven and spoofed the Star Wars franchise
with Mill Brooks, Rick Moranis, John Candy, and so many others.
They're making a Spaceballs Too with Josh Gadd, and he
will not confirm or deny if Rick moranis is returning.

Speaker 4 (53:40):
For the sequel. A lot of reports say he is,
but Josh Gadd said.

Speaker 5 (53:46):
I'm not gonna comment on whether or not Rick moranis
is returning, but hypothetically, if he were to return, I
would say it's because Rick would have felt like this
was a project worthy of his.

Speaker 4 (53:56):
Return to acting. So I don't know.

Speaker 5 (53:59):
I think it's pretty obvious. Yeah, that Rick Brandis will

Speaker 5 (55:39):
I just recently watched it for the first time, and
I love being able to get these references now because
it's such like everybody loves this movie. And yeah, as
a woman sitting on the couch watching it by myself,
I loved it.

Speaker 4 (55:54):

It's another week of soccer and I'm just thrilled to
be coaching my girl's soccer team. It's a lot of work,
but it's a lot of fun.

Speaker 2 (56:40):
Oh good deal. And what age group is your girl's
soccer team?

Speaker 26 (56:43):
It's uh, well, the one I want is a seven
years so she's five. So a bunch of big beginning
of soccer for them.

Speaker 3 (56:49):
Oh how cute.

Speaker 2 (56:50):
It's adorable. If you ever are having a bad moment
in life, it's all about the fun. Just go watch
a little kid's soccer game seven years old, five or well.
They are just running around like cats. It's so good.
That's awesome. Brian's kids are playing now too.

Speaker 3 (57:06):
All three of them.

Speaker 18 (57:08):
Amaya's playing shop does something called soccer shots, which is yeah,
she's in that five year old age range.

Speaker 2 (57:14):
Oh my god, dude, I love it.

Speaker 18 (57:15):
A lot of the kids run off the field and
they're like, I don't want to come back.

Speaker 11 (57:20):
So good.

Speaker 26 (57:21):
It gets distracted so easily too.

Speaker 2 (57:24):
It's like a squirrel of the nut, like, oh, all right,
well listen, have a great weekend. Congrats, and to enjoy
those memories and those precious moments, because you know how
precious are. Thank you, guys, Thank you. One of four
to three my family, It is balance en in the morning.
It's eight to wait. It's Friday, September twelfth. Good morning,

(57:47):
Good morning. Hope you have a great weekend. I hope
your day is going well. Some of you might have
two jobs and you get to work the weekend, some
of three jobs. I get it, a lot of people
working extra hard to put money on the table, take
care of their family, except and stuff like that. But
I do hope you find a rest but at some
point this weekend to just relax and find some comfort
in the moment of just slowing down. If that's something

(58:09):
that you desire. I always desire that. Yes, yes, give
it to me coming out later on this hour other
than coffee. Do you have a unique trick to keep
yourself awake when you're really tired? Text in a three
one O four three.

Speaker 5 (58:23):
So we are ware that there are kids in the
car right now headed to school. So I'm going to
keep this very simple.

Speaker 2 (58:29):
Okay, hold on, yes, did anybody pre read Jill into
this conversation? She briefed me on brief okay, because she
said something yesterday. They got a little bit.

Speaker 7 (58:39):
Jill and I talked about that.

Speaker 3 (58:40):
They had a long talk about that show.

Speaker 7 (58:43):
We're not going to say that word ever again.

Speaker 2 (58:45):
Okay, all right, So due regard to little ears, because
our show is always aware, you've got parents right now,
if you could check their heart rate monitor on their
watch and you go, don't.

Speaker 4 (58:55):
Don't worry, don't worry. It's okay, it's okay.

Speaker 5 (58:58):
So in his Netflix does Charlie Sheen is talking about
filming Free Money, and he was very very drowsy and
he could not stay awake. He was dozing off, could
not film these scenes because.

Speaker 4 (59:12):
Well yeah, yeah, So what he.

Speaker 5 (59:14):
Decided to do and in order to stay wake he
took an ice cube and basically put it in his pants.

Speaker 4 (59:22):
Well I'm not gonna go.

Speaker 7 (59:24):
You can you know, I can't in the back of
the pants.

Speaker 5 (59:27):
In the back of the pants, took an ice cube
and it worked, And so I thought, I told Brian,
and I thought this could be a good topic.

Speaker 4 (59:35):
What keeps you awake? You know of course, we have coffee,
We've got caffeine. But what have you done to keep
you awake?

Speaker 2 (59:41):
He put an ice cube down the back of his
pants and that kept him awake? Well, all right, I
get your hands sack where the sun don't shine? Thank you?
Is that even? I guess it's possible.

Speaker 3 (59:57):
Yeah, you have. I just feel like they're so many
other methods you could try.

Speaker 2 (01:00:01):
I have another cup of coffee, Charlie.

Speaker 7 (01:00:03):
Yes, did you have to go there?

Speaker 2 (01:00:04):
From what I've seen of that documentary, it is really compelling.
Have you guys watched it?

Speaker 4 (01:00:09):
No, not yet.

Speaker 2 (01:00:09):
It's the stuff that he went through. Obviously it was
his choice. He was doing this. An addiction is real
and it's been cleaning sober now for maybe like seven years,
I think. But amazing documentary and his dad, Martin Sheen,
and what he had to do to try and get
him help and everything. It's it's great if you have
anybody's struggling. And I've only seen a little bit with
my wife, she'd been watching it. I just kind of
pop and pop out. But what I saw was very

(01:00:31):
compelling for the stuff that this guy has gone through.
You know, I didn't get to the ice cube scene
that is that something that's in there apparently?

Speaker 4 (01:00:37):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (01:00:38):
Okay, all right, so other than coffee, what trick do
you do to keep yourself awake when you're tired? I
mean in the old days, when you're driving, you roll
down the windows where I was grown up, where it's cold,
and you'd freeze whatever you had to do, or you'd
slap your face or whatever. You shouldn't be driving drouse anyway,
but you know stuff that you did. Yeah, but uh,
who knew the ice cube trick?

Speaker 7 (01:00:57):
Try it?

Speaker 2 (01:00:57):
I'm interested in trying it. We can try it here,
you know, we do an early morning radio show around
everybody grab an ice Q and uh no judgment text
in three one oh four three. But right now it
is a battle of the sexes. Representing the man. His

(01:01:17):

Speaker 11 (01:03:46):
Love you, guys, but what's that annoyse?

Speaker 15 (01:03:48):
Sometimes only because next way.

Speaker 11 (01:03:53):
Only because it frustrates me in a good way.

Speaker 25 (01:03:55):
And I'm like, I want to know what it is.
And I'm like, oh, yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:03:58):

Sorry to win that money.

Speaker 19 (01:05:14):

Speaker 11 (01:05:16):

Thank you, Michelle, Thank you, Spanky. Hang out coming up.
Three things I need to know. Ed Sheeran dropping new
music and it's really really good. We're gonna play some
of that for you coming up in just a little bit.
Mike Bamy. It is balanced in the morning, Maddie.

Speaker 22 (01:05:55):
Good morning, Yeah, it is?

Speaker 2 (01:05:57):
Is this mad?

How you go, man, my man?

Speaker 2 (01:05:59):
How you do?

Speaker 22 (01:06:00):
I'm doing all right, just trying to help you guys
out with one of those tricks stay awake from your
drowsy on the road.

Speaker 2 (01:06:05):
I love it.

Speaker 3 (01:06:05):
Well.

Speaker 2 (01:06:06):
We talked with uh Jill a second ago, her in a.

Speaker 22 (01:06:13):
Very unique Jill, I don't do it.

Speaker 2 (01:06:16):
I thought you and Charlie she both did this.

Speaker 4 (01:06:17):
I have never done this in my life.

Speaker 2 (01:06:19):
The ice keep truck.

Speaker 4 (01:06:20):
Never Never.

Speaker 2 (01:06:21):
They put an ice cub where the sun don't shine,
and that keeps him awake. What do you do, Bud?

Speaker 22 (01:06:26):
I learned this in New Mexico, the hot sauce capital
the United States. Basically, keep a little packet of something
super spicy in your car, whether it's you know, a
Tabasco packet or even a little Ghost Sauce packet, and
just fire that hot sauce down the old gullet, and
believe me, you will be awake in no time at all.
Oh my god, it'd be the most comfortable, but you

(01:06:47):
won't worry about falling asleep.

Speaker 2 (01:06:49):
Uh god, that would be so terrifying for me. I'm
a little Irish boy from Connecticut. I have fire on
ghost sauce or whatever down my hole.

Speaker 6 (01:06:56):
I know for a fact that works because one night
I was trying to say awake, I stopped it in
and out Nate on those those yellow peppers. Dude, I
was up for like forty five minutes. Didn't even shut
my eyes once.

Speaker 2 (01:07:05):
You're gonna be doing the Charlie Sheen trick, just because
it's not gonna feel good. It's gonna come looking for vengeance.
Those peppers Sometimes the way they come out, yes, just
as hot as the way they go in. All Right, Matt,
thank you, buddy. You doing well.

Speaker 22 (01:07:22):
Otherwise doing well. Man on my way to drop the
kid off at school and then head off to work.

Speaker 2 (01:07:26):
All right, have a great weekend. Thank you guys for listening.
All right, calls Allen's side in the morning eight six
four My FM eight thirty five. We've got the new
song from Ed Sheeran that John I talked about earlier.
It's so good. His new album plays out today. That's
coming up a couple seconds. Weather today, if you want
a cloud Sunday this afternoon, tep seventies to mid eighties.
The weekend study warm eighties and nineties again by Sunday

(01:07:48):
sixty eight Roseman, sixty nine, Garden Grove. Jill's got the
entertainment headlines coming up before.

Speaker 5 (01:07:54):
Her new movie Kiss of the Spider Woman. Jennifer Lopez
actually auditioned for a movie.

Speaker 4 (01:07:58):
Musical back in the nineties. I'll tell you which one
coming up.

Speaker 2 (01:08:01):
At eight fifty Manel, Good morning. How are you today?

Speaker 17 (01:08:05):
I'm well, how are you?

Speaker 2 (01:08:06):
We're doing good? What do you do to stay awake?
How do you keep yourself awake?

Speaker 25 (01:08:10):
Oh?

Speaker 17 (01:08:10):
I didn't try these, but my cousin visited me and
she offered me these spicy eye drops that she got
in Japan. I was afraid to try them, but she
said they really work.

Speaker 2 (01:08:19):
When she's studying spicy eye drops.

Speaker 4 (01:08:23):
That doesn't seem safe.

Speaker 17 (01:08:24):
Yeah, I wear contact, so I was afraid to try them,
but she said that she doesn't wear contact. So she
said when she's studying late at night, her eyes are
dry and really like she's ready to just fall asleep
on her books. And she puts one drop in each
eye and she said, they.

Speaker 16 (01:08:39):
Like wake you right up.

Speaker 17 (01:08:40):
And she said that they actually sell different levels in Japan,
so she bought the level three, but she said they
go off to level ten.

Speaker 2 (01:08:47):
Oh my god. They're probably not spicy. They probably just
call them that. But it might have something that keeps
you awake. Maybe it's like caffeine and the eye drop
and it goes through maybe minty minty.

Speaker 17 (01:08:59):
She said, wow, yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:09:01):
God, and she uses them whenever she's tired. Yeah, spicy. Okay,
all right, I hope not. It's sound horrible. All right, thanks,
I'll have a great day.

Speaker 13 (01:09:14):
Thank you.

Speaker 17 (01:09:16):
Can I get on the Christmas card list? You're his
best friend? Like every day he tells me stories about you.

Speaker 2 (01:09:21):
Let me talk to the guys.

Speaker 11 (01:09:22):
You're there, do you hear?

Speaker 2 (01:09:25):
What's up? Buddy?

Speaker 11 (01:09:27):
Hey?

Speaker 22 (01:09:27):
How's it going?

Speaker 2 (01:09:28):
What's your name?

Speaker 22 (01:09:29):
We love your show.

Speaker 11 (01:09:30):
My name is Henry and my son, our son is
also in the car. His name is Max. Max.

Speaker 2 (01:09:34):
Hi, Hey, what's up on? How are you the boys
in the house? Henry, I got you man. We'll take
carry and get you guys on the Christmas card list.

Speaker 22 (01:09:44):
Okay, alright, that's awesome.

Speaker 19 (01:09:46):
You guys are great.

Speaker 11 (01:09:47):
We love your show.

Speaker 2 (01:09:47):
Thank you man, and you keep telling your wife everything
funny you heard on our show when you guys got
around the dinner table and stuff. Thank you guys, hank Ty,
We'll get y'all said, hang on. I love that. Hey, Serena,
good morning. How are you?

Speaker 12 (01:10:01):
I'm great?

Speaker 22 (01:10:02):
How are you?

Speaker 23 (01:10:02):
Guys?

Speaker 2 (01:10:02):
We're doing good? So what are you to stay awake?

Speaker 12 (01:10:05):
So this is a trick, but I recommend it only
if you are either in the car by yourself or
with someone that's okay. Staying awake is listening to heavy
metal music. Specifically, I recommend the rumbling from Attack on Titan.
It is a banger.

Speaker 2 (01:10:21):
Well in the background right now is a band that
you may not know. Take and listen. Found that band
is called Kill Drama and the lead singer of the
band's Kill Drama is a gentleman named Brian Burton. Our
producer says, as a kid, what is that? It's great?

Speaker 3 (01:10:54):
It's poetry.

Speaker 2 (01:10:54):
It's great. You don't even know what you're saying.

Speaker 3 (01:10:57):
I heard a couple of words.

Speaker 2 (01:10:59):
It came back to you like a little bit, Serena,
I will send you the full LP. She's excited about
that you.

Speaker 12 (01:11:05):
Know, so I will I will listen to it.

Speaker 2 (01:11:07):
So crank up to say, any type of mental music
that keeps you awake?

Speaker 12 (01:11:10):
Huh yes, yes, but again, be careful if you have
other people in the car that are trying to sleep.

Speaker 2 (01:11:15):
It does not work right, No, it would it get
out of the car, you'd be writing solo. All right. Thanks,
You're gonna take care you too, Bye bye? Is this
you too? This is good? Yeah, this is some of
my earlier stuff. Oh my god, dude, I had no
idea listen to that? Is that your guitar work? Guitar?

Speaker 3 (01:11:35):
I did everything on this album, guitar, drums, vocals.

Speaker 2 (01:11:37):
Baby stop, it's seriously, this is David situations. Oh there
he is. Hold on, Brian, you should have kept doing it. Man.
That is really good. Honestly, it's not my type of music,
but that's really good.

Speaker 3 (01:11:53):
Bro.

Speaker 2 (01:11:57):
I'm blown away. First one it didn't sound is good
to me, like that was like an early cup. Maybe
you worked out. Yeah, but this stuff, dude, you guys
should have stayed together, get the van and get the
band back together. I don't like to brag, but yeah,
this is Oh my god. Jean, good morning, how are
you today.

Speaker 16 (01:12:15):
I'm doing groovy. How are you?

Speaker 2 (01:12:17):
We're doing all right? Doing all right? What's the trick
that you used to stay awake?

Speaker 16 (01:12:22):
Well, not only to stay awake, but to de escalate stress. Okay,
my car and I'm not I'm not gonna do it
right this minute, but uh I scream bloody murder.

Speaker 2 (01:12:37):
You scream as loud as you can stop.

Speaker 16 (01:12:41):
Sign, red light, parking lot right right, garage?

Speaker 2 (01:12:48):
Okay, and that makes you feel better?

Speaker 16 (01:12:52):
Oh gosh, yeah, this is It's just like peels off
layers of stress.

Speaker 4 (01:12:56):
Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, this is my neighbor, Jean.

Speaker 2 (01:12:59):
This is your name.

Speaker 5 (01:13:00):
I've always wondered what those sounds were. It's you and
your garage.

Speaker 2 (01:13:11):
Alarm, alarm, we've heard some noises over there. What's going
on at Jill's old place? Wow? Gene, nice to meet you,
Nice to chat with you. Finally, we've heard so much
about you.

Speaker 16 (01:13:26):
Well, yeah, I know Brian said that I'm pretty much
so famous.

Speaker 2 (01:13:31):
Yeah you are. She's a celebrity in my universe, right.

Speaker 5 (01:13:35):
Gene is absolutely the best neighbor anybody could ever have.

Speaker 4 (01:13:39):
Like she brings it by trash.

Speaker 2 (01:13:40):
Can should go like grab your underwear one time when
you left it somewhere and construction worker was about to
see it.

Speaker 4 (01:13:46):
Yes, there was a painter there. She helped me out.

Speaker 2 (01:13:50):
Yeah, and you had left like underwear strewn around that area,
so it looked like it was an invite to the
painter or something.

Speaker 5 (01:13:56):
It had fallen out of my laundry and I meant
to go back and get it, and then I came
to work and I was like, oh, no, Jose's going
to be there.

Speaker 4 (01:14:03):
I asked Gen if she could go, And.

Speaker 2 (01:14:04):
You thought Jose would see that and be like, oh hello,
Jose whips out the paint brush as we're saying.

Speaker 11 (01:14:11):
Whoa, whoa.

Speaker 2 (01:14:14):
All right, Gene, thank you love. We'll talk too soon.

Speaker 3 (01:14:17):
Okay, all right, hij.

Speaker 2 (01:14:19):
Bye, Jeane, take care of This is new for met
Shar and it's great. The album's called Play. It's out today.
This song is called Camera. The video is really good too.
It's one O four three my FM, one O.

Speaker 1 (01:14:31):
Four to three my SM Entertainment headlines.

Speaker 5 (01:14:35):
Picky Blinders and Oppenheimer star Killian Murphy has denied the
rumors that he's going to play Lord Voldemort in HBO's
upcoming h or Harry Potter series. He says he doesn't
know anything about it, and he said that it would
be really hard to follow anything. Ray Fines does, who
played Boldemort in the films, and Killian said good luck
to whoever is going to fill those shoes.

Speaker 4 (01:14:57):
And Jennifer Lopez is starring in her first.

Speaker 5 (01:15:00):
Ever movie, musical, Kiss of the Spider Woman. It's gonna
be It's gonna be in theaters October tenth.

Speaker 4 (01:15:05):
It looks really good.

Speaker 5 (01:15:07):
I saw the trailer at the movie theater and it
looks amazing.

Speaker 4 (01:15:11):
Actually.

Speaker 5 (01:15:11):
Jennifer Lopez said she practiced for weeks to audition for
the movie musical Ivida, which came out in the nineties.
She said she sang her heart out at the audition
and then she talked to the director after and he
told her, you're amazing, but you know Madonna has the
part right, like they already gave that part to Madonna.
When she went to audition, she said that she was like, Oh, okay, bye.

Speaker 4 (01:15:33):
Nice to meet you. I bless the audition. I'm Jill
with their David headline.

Speaker 2 (01:15:36):
K eight fifty three. It is one of four to
three my Famit's Valence in the morning for anybody out
there that might be trying to learn a musical instrument,
maybe trying to learn piano or keyboard for the first time.
Let me give you this, you can do it. They
did it and made a song. Can you do this?
I think you can do that, and then maybe even
do this. You have the ability, and then you're getting

(01:16:00):
a little better. Oh my god, look at you. Practice
is paying off. I'm serious. A couple of minutes a
day make a difference, right. Oh, and then you just
decided to go for it. I I I mean, I'm can.

(01:16:26):
I say I'm can, I say me can, I say wa,
not me wa. I'm going to Downton Abbey tonight. I'm
so stoked. My wife put on the family calendar and
I saw what Dowton Abbey and I said to her
last time, and goes Colin coming too. She left. My
seventeen year old son apparently is choosing his high school
football game over Downton Abbey. Wow, you think you're raising right, man,

(01:16:48):
you think you're raising right. And all of a sudden
they leave High care Castle, High Claire Castle in the dust,
Downton Abbey And this is it, guys, Downton Abbey. It's done.
This is it. The movie's it this is it. You know,
there's nothing else after this?

Speaker 3 (01:17:01):
Oh you sure about that?

Speaker 2 (01:17:02):
Yeah? The gentleman on TV said it the other day,
one of the actors.

Speaker 3 (01:17:05):
There's no Downton abby multiverse.

Speaker 2 (01:17:06):
They can.

Speaker 4 (01:17:09):
Character or anything.

Speaker 2 (01:17:10):
Maybe well like the cottage will go to the Downton
Abbey cottage. So no, this is it. And they're all
older too, some of the actors.

Speaker 4 (01:17:16):
You know, there's going to be a tribute to Maggie
Smith at.

Speaker 2 (01:17:18):
Yes she was great, Yeah, she was great. But so

And I know there's some other fellow Downtaters out there.
If you're a down, what's up? Here's your lead Abbey
right here. Thank you for enjoying the experience with me.
Very nice, and I will recap all of you guys

(01:17:38):
in depth on Monday.

Speaker 7 (01:17:40):
Wait on the show.

Speaker 2 (01:17:42):
We're just like, oh, I feel like I've just kind
of like slated six thirty to seven thirty from dams.

Speaker 1 (01:17:49):
And SUV's to full size trucks.

Speaker 10 (01:17:51):
Experience the incredible power and fuel efficiency with Toyota Electrified.

Speaker 1 (01:17:56):
Three things you need to know right now.

Speaker 2 (01:17:58):
So Facebook has started sending out money to millions of
people as part of a settlement or claims that they
shared users data without permission. They're sending out seven hundred
and twenty five million dollars. But that money is going
to be spread out to a lot of people. Anybody
in the US who used Facebook during fifteen year periods
eligible for a payment. That means payments will range between
five and thirty dollars. Tonight, the Dodgers San Fran taking

(01:18:23):
on the Giants at the game. Competitive eating champion Joey
Chestnut will attempt to eat ninety nine chicken nuggets over
nine innings. Oh, why do they do any of that stuff?
Why is there a competitive eating category?

Speaker 18 (01:18:38):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:18:38):
Chessnunt is best known as the King of Nathan's Hot
Dog Eating Contest, an event he's won seventeen times. Maybe
