Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's the Valentine in the Morning replay.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Welcome to the breakfast table of Valentine in the Morning.

Speaker 1 (00:05):
I laughed heartily.

Speaker 3 (00:07):
I hope it's respectful to say I love you.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
The full show podcast starts right now.

Speaker 4 (00:17):
Hi, my name is Colin.

Speaker 5 (00:18):
You are seeing my daddy Valentine in the Morning.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
I went off for flee.

Speaker 4 (00:25):
Said previously on Valentine in the Morning.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
Hi, Elena, how are you good?

Speaker 6 (00:29):
Thank you?

Speaker 2 (00:34):
That's John. He's in the doghouse.

Speaker 3 (00:36):
Make some room, guys.

Speaker 6 (00:38):
Oh, that's right, because I'm I'm I'm okay, got it?
Go ahead?

Speaker 2 (00:42):
No, dog, that's the topic. I don't know how nobody
got that. Why are you in the doghouse right now? Okay?
John's in there because he's got the hots for who
again Skylett Johansen. Yeah, and his girlfriend found out accidentally
with his.

Speaker 6 (01:00):
Girlfriend on this. I feel like I'd be a little
butt hurt if my husband told me who his current
celebrity crush was.

Speaker 7 (01:06):
So do you so you don't have a celebrity crush?
Is that what you're trying to say too?

Speaker 8 (01:09):
I don't, and I can't.

Speaker 6 (01:10):
I mean I did as a child, like as a
young teenager, but I And I know this sounds so
cheesy and corny. I know, but I swear ever since
I got with my husband, I just I don't see
men the same anymore.

Speaker 9 (01:23):
And I don't have a celebrity grow up job.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
That's the first time I've heard that is. I'm not
buying Selena.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
I'm not.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
I think that everybody secretly has a crush that your
heart would race a little bit more if they walked
into the room and you find them to be attractive,
and you see them in the movies and maybe their
character role, you go, oh wow, what a handsome young man.
I just don't buy it.

Speaker 10 (01:44):
You may not have feelings for a celebrity, but can
you recognize when someone is attractive?

Speaker 6 (01:49):
Yeah, I think there's a difference. I think you can
look at them and yes, subjectively say like yes they're
a good looking man, you know, but to say you
have a crush, like those are very different things.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Hold on, John, what were your exact words that you
had said in that moment?

Speaker 3 (02:03):
I said, uh, oh god, yeah, that is.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
That is a very subjective, very subjective phrase.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
Oh god, yeah, that could mean a lot of different things.

Speaker 6 (02:14):
Guys, Yeah, we would I would go to bed I
would go to bed a little man at him. I
would not be cuddling with it.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
Well, we thought you'd laugh after that comment.

Speaker 11 (02:22):
But today's show show starts now.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
Jesus one of four, three my famines. Valentine in the morning.
No Brian Burton today, he's off today.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
Are we saying why he's off today?

Speaker 12 (02:42):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (02:43):
I don't know. If his sisters get married. Yeah, that's fun. Yeah,
that's fun.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Sisters get married. Jill is running a bit late. We'll
find out about her appointment with the IVF doctor when
she gets in. See how her follicles are doing, John,
how is the night last night?

Speaker 3 (02:56):
It was all right, man, I really didn't get too
much sleep.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
You're watching baseball games.

Speaker 7 (02:59):
Why baseball games? Which was great. But then, like, I
think we're entering spider season. I've seen so many spiders
on her apartment.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
Dude, my wife just killed a massive spider just the
other day. That's what I mean, man, massive spider in
my backyard.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
John.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
We saw spider the other night. He's one of these
big mechanical like SpaceX Tesla spiders or something, and he
was up like weaving some spider web of doom. My
son and I both went out there, looked at him.
He was massive. If you would walked into the sing
you would have turned to the spider man.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
Dude. I looked it up like it is spider season.

Speaker 7 (03:36):
I guess, like when the weather starts to get a
little bit colder, like they look for warmth and so
they come inside more and this is their breeding time
of the year. Killed one on our porch the other
day because it was massive. And then last night I
get home and right after the game, this massive one
just starts coming down. Oh my god, and like now
have a hard times leaving because like you feel like
every little thing is a spiderlog.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
This one was outside, so that was good. I did
wear you know this hats to see gardeners were a lot.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
A couple of weeks ago, and you'll remember this. A
couple of weeks ago, my son had a soccer game.
And you wear those straw hats sometimess soccer games because
they keep the sun off, right. It work really well.
I had one sitting in the garage, hadn't worn it
in a while, and I went out there and I
got it. I shook it out, checked it for spiders.
Did a solid job. Solid job. I took that thing
off after the game. I had a massive welt on

(04:23):
my forehead. Something lived in there and bit me and
I don't know where it went. Yeah, there's sneaky little
I'm afraid it's like hiding in my prius or something.
I just bought this like fifty dollars spider Killer from Amazon.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
Well, I don't know.

Speaker 7 (04:34):
It's some kind of bug spray, but like it's super
well refewed and okay, I just felt like I didn't
want to take any chances. It's a spray yeakay, And
it's one of those like heavy duty ones. We got
to like pump it a little bit. Your god comes
in a big jug. I just like shoot across the
room set. Yes, yesterday, you're worried about getting that all
over your apartment. Yes, but I feel like I'm down
for that. I would rather have that than more spiders.

(04:55):
Like this looks like one of the pest control ones.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
Is this safe to have indoors? It says so yeah,
it says do outdoor you so that I believe everything
on Amazon?

Speaker 6 (05:02):
I do.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
Yeah. I check the reviews and if it's got more
than four stars, we're in. You're in. Okay, gotcha. Well,
good luck with that. Thanks man.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
It is spider season. Nobody else experiencing the weird spiders
out there, feel free to reach out three one four three.
Jill should be heard a few minutes. We're starting up
the show. If you want to be part of it,
would love to have you on board as well. Welcome
to your Wednesday morning, October first.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
BA Mystic Magic.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Hey Amanda, good morning.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
How are you?

Speaker 13 (05:36):
I'm good thing.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
How are you all right?

Speaker 2 (05:39):
So I understand you have some big news. First, what's
going on your life?

Speaker 13 (05:43):
My news is my daughter's on the spectrum. She's three
and really struggles with speaking. And two days ago she
said to me in the car before I took her daycare,
she said I love you, mama. And that was like
the first time she's ever said I love you, and

(06:04):
I mean it was like the happiest news I could
ever have gotten.

Speaker 2 (06:08):
My gosh, Amanda, let's repeat that. Lets people, let people
really understand that you're in the car. Your daughter's on
a spectrum. She's autistic, and she's non verbal to an extent,
and this was the first time that she said those
words I love you mama. Yeah, at three years of age,
she waited all that time.

Speaker 13 (06:30):
Right, It's taken three years of hard work with her therapist,
with her father and I and our family, and I
say I love you to her all the time, and
she just said, I love you, Mama. It's amazing.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
How did you hold back te yours, Amanda. I'd be
ready to cry right now hearing the story.

Speaker 13 (06:50):
It was really difficult, and I mean, it's just so
much hard work, and it's such an amazing feeling to
see that our hard work is working with her and
she is really understanding what we're saying to her.

Speaker 10 (07:08):
Yeah, I'm so happy you shared this because this is
something that we really take for granted. I mean, when
I hang up the phone with like a family member
quickly okay, I love you, love you too, Like it's
just something that just we love them. But it's just
set so nonchalantly, you know, And then hearing your story,
it just makes it just so much more impactful.

Speaker 1 (07:30):
Call her right now, it does.

Speaker 2 (07:32):
Call Karen right now.

Speaker 4 (07:33):
She's in Hawaii.

Speaker 2 (07:34):
Oh, I don't care, well wherever you are in life,
whoever you are, if you have the opportunity today, tell
your mama that you love them and mean it when
you say it.

Speaker 13 (07:46):
Thanks, Amanda, exactly, You're welcome.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
I have a great day.

Speaker 1 (07:49):
What's your daughter's name, Charlotte?

Speaker 2 (07:52):
Tell Charlotte. The radio people said, Hi.

Speaker 13 (07:55):
I will Can I get put her on the Christmas list?

Speaker 2 (07:57):
You sure can't. We'll get you on hold and take
care of that.

Speaker 13 (07:59):
Okay, all right, thank you guys.

Speaker 11 (08:02):
Nineties to now.

Speaker 1 (08:05):
One four three my FM.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
Come one of four to three, my fam. It is
Valentine that morning homecoming. Some schools have already had homecoming,
Summer coming up next week, summer this week.

Speaker 3 (08:21):
I feel like my kids, God, maybe it's this weekend.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
No, it's not this weekend. Maybe it's next week.

Speaker 3 (08:27):
We're talking about the game or the dance or I
don't know. Oh no, I don't know. This was your
last year to pay attention.

Speaker 2 (08:33):
I know, I know it's homecoming the thing where you
we dressed up last year or something.

Speaker 3 (08:38):
Yeah, we did like spiritat Days Spirit Week. Yeah, should
we do that? I'm to do it.

Speaker 7 (08:43):
I love the Spirit Week, right. I thought the pictures
were super cool. I thought it was fun until I
get in costume.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
So we're halfway through the weeks, so we'd have to
do it like next week or something like that.

Speaker 3 (08:51):
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 7 (08:52):
Yeah, and we'd have to do like things we haven't
done already, Like I don't want to repeat.

Speaker 3 (08:56):
Weeks, right, Okay, what would you add to the list
of Spirit week?

Speaker 2 (08:59):
Okay, no more goth. We've already done goth. We've got
to do you know, we haven't done kop.

Speaker 3 (09:04):
K Pop's not bad.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
K Pop's great. Yeah, that's not bad. Pajama Day, that's
every day for me. I wear viewers and a T shirt.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
Is that literally what you wear to bed?

Speaker 1 (09:14):
No?

Speaker 2 (09:14):
I go nude to bed?

Speaker 3 (09:18):
Well, I really think katee pop could be cool.

Speaker 2 (09:21):
Yeah, so here's my picture all of us wearing basically
the same outfits. Okay, you know, like let's say we're
all wearing uh cool black dressy looking pants, got it?
White shirts and black vests.

Speaker 3 (09:35):
Okay, yeah, and that's it's very like Olive Garden waiter.
Is that what is?

Speaker 2 (09:42):
No?

Speaker 3 (09:43):
But they wear a black shirt? I don't know.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
I'm just trying to picture like when you're all dressed
the same, because to me, Kate Popper is all dressed
the same when they're in a group. Am I wrong
with that?

Speaker 3 (09:53):
I'm trying to think.

Speaker 2 (09:54):
I feel like all of them have their own like flavor.
Ok you know what I mean, like it's it's it's
adjacent to each other. But I'll figure it out then. Okay,
go figure it out yourself. I'm just throwing it out there,
all right, So cape off, what else?

Speaker 3 (10:08):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (10:08):
So I like Pajama Day. That's potential pajama Day. That
seems like a cop out. P JD got it though,
PJDA three one O four three. Do you have good ideas?
By the way, for Spirit Week? For homecoming?

Speaker 3 (10:20):
What we do? You break whine in the couch?

Speaker 2 (10:22):
What's your deal?

Speaker 3 (10:24):
What do you think?

Speaker 2 (10:24):
You don't want to do this?

Speaker 3 (10:25):
This is usually no.

Speaker 5 (10:26):
I'm just thinking because last time we did Snuggy Day.
So remember we all wore like snuggies. Yes, I specifically
remember this. We wore I guess you call them like onesies.
Would you have one day?

Speaker 4 (10:38):
So we did that. We did dresses Val Day. That
was fun. We did Goth I'm just trying to think
what could be fun.

Speaker 3 (10:46):
We could like a sports day we did That's how
we wrapped it up.

Speaker 14 (10:51):
John.

Speaker 2 (10:51):
We did Goth Day, right, we dresses John Day. We
all just go shopping Aruka.

Speaker 4 (10:56):
I know that could be fun. We could spend each
day of the week, dressing is each other.

Speaker 3 (11:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
I don't think that's fun.

Speaker 3 (11:03):
I don't own any Disney merch.

Speaker 2 (11:05):
Yeah, that's not as good.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
We had great ideas last year. Wow.

Speaker 2 (11:08):
Yeah, that's tough to beat. That isn't it?

Speaker 11 (11:09):
Got?

Speaker 6 (11:10):
It was weird.

Speaker 2 (11:11):
Yeah, it's come on all right, three, one four three.
It is valanced out of the morning ninety.

Speaker 1 (11:17):
Yeah, no, one o four to three my FM. Here's
what's coming up. In entertainment headlines.

Speaker 10 (11:24):
Wheel of Fortune had the biggest winner in its forty
three season history.

Speaker 4 (11:28):
Last night. Contestant Christina Derovjanic from.

Speaker 10 (11:31):
Connecticut won a cash prize of one million, thirty five,
one hundred and fifty five dollars plus trips to Montana
and Tokyo. She is the fourth contestant in the show's
history to earn the million dollar prize, and her winning.

Speaker 4 (11:45):
Puzzle was pack of coyotes in the living Things category.

Speaker 10 (11:49):
And yesterday, when we were talking about Nicole Kidman and
Keith Urban breaking up, I said, we haven't heard anything
from them. Nothing is confirmed. I was still holding out hope.
I thought maybe they were just but now it is official.
Nicole Kidman has filed for divorce from Keith Urban after
nearly twenty years of marriage. I'm Jill. That's your Hollywood

(12:11):
headlines on Valentine in the Morning.

Speaker 2 (12:23):
Six oh seven. It is Balancine in the Morning. This
is one of four to three my van. Congrats to
Dodgers last night. Nice win for them. Loving that John
and I are invested in Red Sox series because John
group a Red Sox fan. I grew up in the
East Coasts who are watching that too. And anytime you're
playing the Yankees, I think generally people hate the Yankees.
You know, it's like go the Astros, the Yankees and Giants,
so certain teams that it's okay to root against her
in Los Angeles heavily. Yeah, so you'll like side root

(12:47):
for the Red Sox if you're not a Sox fan,
just because they're playing the Yankees. But I would like
to let every Red Sox fan know that watching the
game last night, you can thank me for what happened
at ninth inning.

Speaker 3 (12:58):
Oh would you do? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (13:00):
I did it, bro so listen. I was on the
peloton at one point watching the game, which is hard
to do, and then I was stretching my legs and
holding the phone athletes, I appreciate that.

Speaker 3 (13:12):
Yeah, I was.

Speaker 2 (13:13):
So I was doing all that, and you know, the
game was what the game was. And then it became
the ninth inning. The Red Sox were leading like three
to one the ninth inning, Jill, And it's the bottom
of the ninth and the Yankees are up and they
have a gentleman name were all this Chapman who's pitching
for the Red Sox. And the Yankees get the heavy hitters,
got Judge up there lots of big, heavy hitters, and
you know, this is it, and we're up three to one.
At that point, I'm in the shower taking a shower,

(13:34):
and I've got the overhead shower on. I'm just doing
my thing. We have a wand in our shower to
a handheld wand, which is hey, we're a little bit
of baller, you know. We've got two things overhead in
the wand it's very nice. So the overhead's going to
take a shower because they've been doing the peloton, so
I wanted to, you know, get the sweat off nice
and boom there's a hit. Oh god, all right, boom
there's another hit. Booms. All of a sudden, the bases

(13:55):
are loaded with.

Speaker 4 (13:56):
Nobody out and you're in the shower.

Speaker 2 (13:57):
I'm in the shower. Red Sox are winning three to
one and the bases are loaded, nobody's out, and I
feel horrible. I feel horrible. I'm like, what's going on?
We're winning, what's going on. I switched to the handheld
and I started washing different areas with my handheld, and
all of a sudden, there's it out, there's a strikeout.
It's a game last night, big game, Red Sox Yankees.

Speaker 3 (14:20):
What part of your body was that those lower regions?

Speaker 2 (14:22):
And so I just keep with the handheld. All of
a sudden there's a pop out, and I'm like, I
am well washed in all those areas at this point. Yeah,
but I don't want to go back to the overhead.
And I'm getting a little cold, to be honest, because
I like the hot water from the overhead, and I'm like,
I can't do it. I can't get out of the shower.
I've already wasted so much time in the shower anyway,
I've wasted the water. Like they're coming after me. My

(14:44):
bill's gonna be huge, whatever. But I'm like, I cannot
leave this handteld situation. And then I'm just washing the
way I kept washing, that certain area was getting washed
quite a bit, and I go around the back sometimes hello,
just you know, has something different between bat Yeah, And
so it's after the final better and lo and behold
the guy strikes him out and then I put it

(15:05):
back in the overhead so that Handtaeld not saying I
was responsible for all this shot and throwing one hundred
and two miles an hour, but I believe myself and
every other fan that was in the moment doing what
they needed to do collectively made something happen. It didn't hurt,
It didn't hurt, right.

Speaker 4 (15:20):
It hps.

Speaker 2 (15:21):
I think, I don't know if I have to get
back in the shower today with a handheld or not.
Sometimes it change is day to day.

Speaker 3 (15:26):
You don't know.

Speaker 7 (15:27):
The game seemed to be going well when you were
up on that peloton, though, so I thought you were
going to exit that shower get it back on that bike.

Speaker 6 (15:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
I thought about getting out of the shower. Yeah, I
didn't know about getting back in the bike because I'm
too old. You just got to try things, you know,
where you stick with it, right, and when something's not working,
you know it's not working. And the overhead shower wasn't working,
so this handtel wand down below. I almost called him
to a sports radio show in Boston. That's why you
want to drive in?

Speaker 3 (15:51):
Yeah, tell them about it.

Speaker 2 (15:52):
It was like four forty five and listened to a
sports radio show out of Boston. I was gonna be like, listen, guys,
we'll let you know, let all Boston know. I am
so responsible for this. When last night Chapman, I'm sure
credit to him, full credit, But the hand held wand
in my nether regions might have been what turned the
tide person the night thinning.

Speaker 4 (16:07):
Oh I wish you would have called them.

Speaker 2 (16:09):
They would have taken that. They would not have taken that.
They like, it's one of those La guys.

Speaker 3 (16:15):
What are they doing in La with handteld wand? All right?

Speaker 2 (16:19):
Six ten, it's Valence in the morning. Here's yourn leasson.

Speaker 10 (16:22):
Oh fine, Yeah, at my sister's house, helping her with
her boys, just loving the time with them.

Speaker 2 (16:27):
So are you getting any sleep over there? I know
that Britt is up every few hours or something like that.

Speaker 4 (16:32):
For two hours for feeding.

Speaker 11 (16:34):
Right.

Speaker 4 (16:35):
I sleep through the night, right as you should.

Speaker 10 (16:37):
It's not your kids, But no, it's not your kids
held her out, but she said, there's nothing you can
do for me, like.

Speaker 2 (16:44):
You could feed the baby. Right she's pumping and bottling.

Speaker 4 (16:47):
I do that during the day for her all night.

Speaker 2 (16:50):
It's pure it's pure her.

Speaker 4 (16:52):
It's pure break.

Speaker 2 (16:53):
Did you tell her like you need me, come get
me or something I did? Was it real or was
it like?

Speaker 10 (16:59):
And I would get up because if the baby was
crying and I heard trying to sleep in here, you know,
I've been going.

Speaker 4 (17:06):
To the nurse like anything's sure.

Speaker 2 (17:08):
So oh, the poor thing.

Speaker 4 (17:11):
She's just exhausted. But her husband comes home today from
his work trip, so.

Speaker 2 (17:16):
And she's going to hand off the kid. Here you go,
and he's gonna be like, well, I was working too.
Now here's the kid. It's all yours taking it. Got
It's so funny like when Colin was little. I remember
like coming home from doing a morning radio show or
something like that, and Leilana would be like, here you go, Like,
well I was.

Speaker 3 (17:30):
I was.

Speaker 2 (17:31):
I did get up early today too, was doing it.
Now here you go, all yours? Six twelve, Yeah, Well
it's Valentine in morning.

Speaker 11 (17:40):
Three things you need to know right now.

Speaker 2 (17:44):
Six seventeen it is Valentine in the morning. The United
States Postal Service says shipping costs will increase for packages
this holiday season. The temporary prices will go into effects Sunday,
and last year January eighteenth, they explained the new rates
would cover extra handling costs to ensure successful peak season.
New prices will priority Mail Express, Priority Mail, USPS, ground advantage,
and parcels like if you know what any of that

(18:05):
stuff means increased range from forty cents to ninety cents,
soetle cost moart decentate package. Now, we have started a
government shutdown, but the Postal Service is not part of
a government shutdown, so they are still obviously up and
running and all the important things, the CIA Secret Service,
all those things tsa passport. We'll keep an eye on
that this morning as we learn more about the Scarmento shutdown.

(18:26):
And let you know, I'm not sure if my friend
Mark works for NASA, if he's furloughed now what we're
kind of talking about.

Speaker 3 (18:32):
That yesterday, so we'll find out from him as well.

Speaker 2 (18:35):
LA Metro officials confirmed the Tap to Exit program, which
was suspend it at North Hollywood in Neuton station, will
return to North Hollywood shortly. The pilot program was launched
last year, but the program was put on pause back
in April after the LA Fire Department raised concerns about
potential bottlenecks in the inventive emergency, which the gates would
not automatically.

Speaker 10 (18:52):
Open, so you have to tap your Metro card with
this in order to tempest it. So some people you
didn't have to do it, so you could just go
in and out without how to actually pay for the ride.

Speaker 3 (19:01):
Oh.

Speaker 10 (19:02):
So they were worried that people would like, in an emergency,
you're trying to tap to.

Speaker 2 (19:05):
Get working or something and you're stuck in the gate
would open and you can't hop the gates. I haven't
taken that Metro in that area. Is it a gate
you could hop or is it a full gate you
can't get through.

Speaker 4 (19:15):
I feel like a gate you can hop, right, Yeah?

Speaker 2 (19:17):
You sit it all outside of the movies, people hop
at the dance and oh I'm on the subway, just
hop in the fans. Okay, all right, John, what's training
your music?

You're clicking that and you have thirty seconds. Leave us

(24:01):

to hang at this Taylor Swift Extravaganza on Friday night. John,
it is the month of October. You're so right, dude,
Take it away, mamyn. All right, I've collected a list
of four big things you can look forward to this October.

Speaker 7 (24:16):
And number one, we're right in the middle of it
right now. It's gonna be sports. Right The MLB Wild
Card games are continuing this week. We have so much
postseason baseball, and then Game one of the World Series
is set for the twenty fourth of October.

Speaker 2 (24:28):
Do you know what the World Series like if they
went seven games? They're actually playing in November?

Speaker 3 (24:33):
Really? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (24:34):
Seven is like knob one or two or something like interesting.
It's crazy.

Speaker 6 (24:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (24:38):
It started September too, started yesterday, so yeah, goes through
the month of October. NHL starts next Tuesday. The NBA
season kicks off as well, So a lot to look
forward to in sports. Now, movies, there's only a couple
big movies people are pretty excited about this month. The
Rocks new MMA movie The Smashing Machine, Yes it looks
really good.

Speaker 2 (24:57):
Which people said did great. And Rotten Tomatoes. But now
I also hear that people aren't trusting Rotten Tomatoes anymore
because a lot of those people are paid for their.

Speaker 4 (25:05):
A lot of years without even seeing the movie.

Speaker 7 (25:07):
See I Well seriously, Yeah, like sometimes you see a
review and it's like ninety nine percent of Rotten Tomatoes
and like that's so hard to do.

Speaker 2 (25:14):
Right, he was one hundred percent of tomatoes? Wow, Yeah,
it was crazy. I did hear it's good though, Oh good.
The Neutron movie comes out.

Speaker 7 (25:19):
This month as well, and then Giermo del Toro's Frankenstein
opens the seventeenth, and then it'll hit Netflix the next
month as well.

Speaker 2 (25:25):
There are some scary movies out right now, my correct
the some that my kid goes, oh, I want to
see that. And these movies look absolutely terrifying, terrifying.

Speaker 7 (25:36):
I'm sure there are usually October like has a couple
of those theres like Weapons was scary?

Speaker 3 (25:40):
I saw that one? Was it really?

Speaker 2 (25:41):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (25:42):
I know there were a few more.

Speaker 2 (25:44):
Yeah, there's some creepy little ones. Yeah, I possessed.

Speaker 7 (25:46):
My girlfriend always asks and I say no, I don't
like scary movies. A couple of TV shows that are
coming back this month as well. Abbott Elementary comes back,
SNL comes back for his fifty first season this Saturday.
Grey's Anatomy is back, and then The Witcher is back
on Netflix as well.

Speaker 2 (26:01):
You watching that, I'm actually not Did they change the guys?
Did the Witcher change out characters?

Speaker 3 (26:06):
Yes? I think? Was this the last Henry right? Yeah? Yeah,
he is out of it. I don't know if that
starts this season or the next.

Speaker 2 (26:12):
I don't know, because I watched it for a bit.
I get into it. But Henry Cavill's jaw line is
so distinct. Do you have to find the same guy
with the same jaw line? How do you find a
jawline like that? That's say about the corn sweat dude
when he was Superman. I was like, how you follow
Henry Cavill right hard? And then of course we end
with the holidays. Got a couple of big ones this month,
Young Kapoor starts tonight Columbus slash Indigenous People's Day on

(26:35):
the thirteenth, and then Halloween. Of course the thirty first
also special mentioned National Cat Days on the twenty ninth
of this monk, You boy, you're really riding that political
uh Oukham's razor right there with that Columbus slash Indigenous
People's Day, right.

Speaker 3 (26:47):
I just feel like you put both of them in there.

Speaker 2 (26:49):
He's got his Italian heritage stuff. It's like, I'm just
gonna go right, I'm just gonna take that side. No
one could be mad at me if I say both right. Switzerland,
here there you go, Thank you, John six thirty six
it it's one of four.

Speaker 3 (27:00):
Free my fan.

Speaker 2 (27:00):
There's one thousand bucks coming your way at seven o'clock
this morning. One thousand dollars. We're gonna fill up your
tank at seven o'clock.

Speaker 15 (27:07):
On my fam the club isn't the best place to
fund the where I go.

Speaker 2 (27:16):
Fourth three my family, it's balance en in the morning.
People saying to the text line, Liam Hemsworth is the
new Witcher. If you watch that show. Henry Cavell was
a Witcher for a long time. Liam Hensworth. Does he
have a jaw line like Henry Cavill. It's pretty, It's
not like Henry Cavell's is just like, it's massive, this jaw.
And I started watching The Witcher when it first came out,

(27:37):
and I honestly felt like I'm the only person on
the planet watching this dippy show because I'm in the
fantasy stuff like that, and I'm like, no one else
is watching this. And then you hear about it talk
in public like this, You're like, oh, I guess other
people are watching this show.

Speaker 3 (27:49):
I feel like it was pretty popular.

Speaker 2 (27:51):
Yeah, I've read. But when I talked about it in
my house and here at work, none of you watched it.
Nobody at my house watched it.

Speaker 4 (27:58):
You were the first one to talk about it.

Speaker 2 (27:59):
What's going on with that? So you smoking again?

Speaker 11 (28:02):
No?

Speaker 4 (28:03):
Not, I've never smoked?

Speaker 2 (28:04):
Okay, Well, that's why.

Speaker 4 (28:05):
I oh, my voice is acting so strange.

Speaker 2 (28:07):
Do you feel sick or something? I don't feel sick,
because we don't want you here if you're sick. I
know Brian Burton's out today. His sister's getting married, so
that's great.

Speaker 4 (28:14):
I have no problem and I'm not saying this to
get out of doing work.

Speaker 2 (28:17):
Okay, you have no problem going I have.

Speaker 10 (28:19):
No problem going home, of course, sorry, because the common
cold is going around.

Speaker 4 (28:23):
It is and I feel fine, but I don't sound.

Speaker 2 (28:26):
Fine, right, So isn't that interesting?

Speaker 4 (28:29):
I can go home and left.

Speaker 10 (28:31):
Early yesterday, left early yesterday to go to a fertility.

Speaker 2 (28:35):
Give a shout, yeah, the doctor's over there. The baby
making people got.

Speaker 4 (28:41):
You said no, no, oh.

Speaker 3 (28:43):
Well you've been at home with Britt though. How are
they feeling it? Okay over there?

Speaker 4 (28:47):
Oh gosh, I hope they're Okay. That's a teeny tiny
little baby baby.

Speaker 3 (28:51):
Are you going back over there today?

Speaker 4 (28:52):
I'm done?

Speaker 2 (28:53):
You're done with that?

Speaker 6 (28:53):
Done?

Speaker 3 (28:54):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (28:55):
All right, I don't know, keep it on. We're going
to give you another fifteen twenty minute and see what
your your voice sounds like and your face looks like
before we kick.

Speaker 4 (29:03):
You loose full disclosure. I did a lot of crying yesterday.

Speaker 3 (29:06):
Yeah, and we could talk about that coming up.

Speaker 4 (29:09):
We can, but I might start crying again.

Speaker 2 (29:11):
Okay, you talk about that whenever you want to talk
about it. That's your personal life, and I know you
like to share and people are kind of invested in
your journey to motherhood.

Speaker 4 (29:21):
Yes, is just a little too real at the moment.
I just don't lovering mess.

Speaker 2 (29:26):
That's totally fine.

Speaker 4 (29:27):
I did tell you about it this morning and I
was okay, you.

Speaker 2 (29:29):
Were totally fine. Yeah, because you not beginning. It's your
story to tell. But the way you told it, there
was a moment where you could wipe the tears.

Speaker 4 (29:37):
Yeah, there's a glimmer of hope exactly.

Speaker 2 (29:39):
I want to say that phrase until you said it.

Speaker 4 (29:40):
Yeah, there's a little sliver there that we're holding on
to my FM.

Speaker 2 (29:48):
Well, it's your story to tell.

Speaker 1 (29:53):
Just woke up from my.

Speaker 2 (29:55):
Dream one of four to three. Ifm it is Valentine
in the morning, enter if you guys want to see
this Taylor Swift show on Friday night.

Speaker 11 (30:06):

Speaker 4 (30:10):
Great Taylor Swift, She's nailing it. Love It Terrors, swiss
Ah the Kid at the end.

Speaker 3 (30:18):
All right, it's over. No, give it to her the
kid at the end. That's the way to go. That's cute,
all right.

Speaker 2 (30:23):
You can enter to see Taylor Swift on Friday Night.

Speaker 10 (30:27):
Friday Night, it is an exclusive MYFM screening of Taylor
Swift's the official release party of a Showgirl. Her new
album's out night at nine. This is the movie that
goes along with it. You can win those tickets all day.

Speaker 2 (30:37):
Today, got it.

Speaker 3 (30:39):
I like the name of that release party of the
show Girl. That's cool.

Speaker 2 (30:42):
Yeah, all right, so you can get that if you
open up the free iHeartRadio app listen to one A
four to three MYFM, and then if you send us
all talk back that red mic fro an icon the
upright in corner. You click it, it's like a voice note.
It comes right to our studio. You heard how it works,
and you say your name, your phone number, and the
phrase Taylor Swift. So no, that's what you want. Otherwise
we think you're just hitting on us.

Speaker 3 (31:00):
So make sure you say Toe Swift or John might
go hey man, was having it happens too much? Jill?

Speaker 2 (31:06):
If you want to talk about it, because I know
you said you're willing to. Yes, I clear the runway
for you. If you're new to our show, welcome to
are always welcoming new people in. You should feel like
you're part of our little breakfast table here and stuff
like that. Jill has been on a journey to motherhood,
struggling to have a child, and this is her tale.

Speaker 10 (31:26):
So I went through the entire egg freezing process a
few years ago, and I was single at the time,
and we just thought that that would be the best
thing for me to do because I knew I wanted
to be a mom eventually one day, so I meet
my husband, we get married. We both want to be
parents so very very badly. And we went through a

(31:47):
round of IVF a month ago.

Speaker 2 (31:50):
And you were trying though before that too, and gave
it the old college try so to speak.

Speaker 10 (31:56):
Yes, we did, and because of my age, my doctor said,
after six months of trying normally, if you're still not pregnant,
let's go back and revisit your eggs while still try
in the normal way as well. But like you were,
just just taking every option available. So we went through
that first round and unfortunately we lost all of the embryos.

(32:16):
They did not make it past the initial seven day period.
So all of the eggs that were frozen, they it
was unfortunately me like the eggs were bad quality. So
we decided that we were going to try one more time.
Let's do an ang retrieval and then let's make the
embryos and let's try IVF one more time.

Speaker 2 (32:36):
Let me say one thing, and it's again, this is
not my story to tell, this's your sorry to tell.
I don't like when you said unfortunate it was me
because I beat well, I beat myself up on my
side because when I went through IVF with my wife,
she had the best eggs, the greatest ex Trump was
going around, tell me she's got the best eggs, the
best eggs. Ever, these are great a eggs, blah blah great.
And so it was something wrong with my blunt lay

(32:59):
my sperm had. They were like a shopping cart with
one bad wheel. They were good and they got your
groceries out the door, but they're always pulling to the left.
Nine you know, It's like, come on, you know that
shopping cart with the bad wheel's always pulls the left,
the right or whatever it is. Oh yeah, so kind
of like going in circles. I'm like, dude over there,
wh wha, you gotta go that way. So I beat
myself up for a little bit of time, thinking, oh,

(33:19):
I'm the reason that we had the starggle to go
through this. Then I realized, it's just it just is
what it is.

Speaker 3 (33:24):
It is.

Speaker 2 (33:25):
It's just nature. It's the way God intended it. If
you have a higher power that you believe in like
I do, it's just that's just the story of life unfolding.
It's not somebody's.

Speaker 10 (33:34):
Fault, right, And I think that was mostly just a
slip of the tongue for me because I don't feel
that way.

Speaker 4 (33:39):
No, no, no, But my husband and I both.

Speaker 10 (33:42):
Throughout this entire journey, we've been saying like, it's not you,
it's not me, it's just not meant to be right now.

Speaker 4 (33:47):
So I don't feel that way. I'm not at that
stage yet, So we're good with that.

Speaker 10 (33:51):
But yesterday I went because we were going to then
get kind of like a baseline appointment of am I
a good candidate to do and egg retrieval again. I've
been put on some medication that would kind of like
make my body just you know, have its own cycle,
like the start of a cycle, and.

Speaker 4 (34:08):
I'm gonna get the terminology wrong.

Speaker 10 (34:10):
So I don't know exactly how to sum this up correctly,
and I could be totally wrong. But basically, when I
went yesterday, my body is not responding to the medications.
I should be at a certain point, I'm like way
past it. My body is almost like going through a
very fast cycle. Where I should be on day seven

(34:30):
of my monthly cycle, I'm like way past day.

Speaker 4 (34:33):
Yeah, it's not responding.

Speaker 10 (34:34):
So it's like a really quick quick way of like
cycling through. And so they're not sure when they can
actually go into retrieve because my body's just so it's
doing its own thing and it's not reacting like it
should like other bodies do. So it was kind of
like a heavy appointment where we don't know if we

(34:55):
can do a retrieval, but we're going to do another
seven days of the medication to see if maybe my
body can reset on its own, or maybe when I
go back next week and they do another exam, maybe
we'll be at a point where we can start the
other hormones and do another retrieval. But there is this
little glimmer of hope. And when the doctor was leaving

(35:18):
the appointment yesterday, and they're they're so good at delivering
this news because I'm sure they.

Speaker 4 (35:24):
Deliver a lot of bad news a lot of the time,
you know.

Speaker 10 (35:27):
And the way that my doctor and my nurse have
been there for me throughout this entire thing, and just
like the way that they handle the conversations is so great.

Speaker 4 (35:35):
And I told them.

Speaker 10 (35:36):
And I almost said, I almost quoted Taylor Swift, but
I did. Yes, by the way, but my favorite Tailor
Swift lyric.

Speaker 4 (35:50):
It's to live for the hope of it All from
the song August. I love that lyric. That is my
favorite lyric.

Speaker 10 (35:56):
So as my doctor was leaving the appointment, and he
was saying, like, we've got hope, and I said, I
am going to hold on to that hope and that
is what I'm going to live for these next seven days.

Speaker 4 (36:06):
I'm going to pray.

Speaker 10 (36:07):
I'm going to keep all that positive energy, my whole family,
my husband, like.

Speaker 4 (36:10):
We're all like, you know, sure a will whatever is
meant to be, it's going to be. What's me will
always find a way.

Speaker 10 (36:16):
I know that. But I desperately want a baby with
my husband. So we have those seven days. See, I
didn't want to cry, and that's why I think. I
feel like, that's why I sound the way I do.
Yesterday I was very sad, and I just thought, like
I went into that appointment thinking, all right, we're gonna
start the hormones, we're gonna do the egg retrieval. Here
we go. It's like, okay, we got seven days. The

(36:38):
door isn't shut. Door isn't shut yet, it's still open.

Speaker 2 (36:41):
So you go to the light through that door, right,
that's what we're going to write, that light on the
other side. And you don't know, you don't right right,
you know?

Speaker 10 (36:47):
And then you hear these stories like if somebody texted
in earlier about you go get on the plan to
adopt a child, and then that's just such a wonderful thing.
And then maybe you get pregnant on your own, and
that's such a wonderful thing. So there's so many different options.

Speaker 4 (36:59):
That we have still in front of us.

Speaker 2 (37:01):
Right, and you're just not sure what path you're gonna
take yet.

Speaker 10 (37:04):
Yeah, And like so I know it's like selfishly, I'm
just like, no, I want this to happen.

Speaker 2 (37:08):
You're not being selfish, You're being a human being. You
want to start a family, that's not selfish at all,
and you want to be a mom that's not selfish.
And you know, if this works God's plan. If it doesn't,
then maybe discuss adoption. That'll be something between you and Check.

Speaker 10 (37:25):
And we're looking into that, like we know that it
takes some time, so we does We're all for that as.

Speaker 3 (37:30):
Well, right.

Speaker 2 (37:31):
And it's so funny because just the other day, my
wife was working a golf tournament for the Gladney Foundation,
which is the foundation and I'm not saying something I
don't think I haven't said before, and she's okay with this.
My wife's adopted and she came into her parents' lives
via the Gladney Foundation, so she was giving back by
helping them out with this fund raising thing they were doing.
So there's ways of you know, having that family that

(37:57):
you'll cross that bridge when you yes, you know.

Speaker 4 (38:01):
You know, I know we're running out of time.

Speaker 10 (38:03):
But what's so crazy is, you know a lot of
my my algorithm on TikTok, a lot of it is,
you know, like the pregnancy announcements and like I love
seeing those. And for some reason, just in the past
couple of days, I've been getting so many videos in
my feed of couples finding out.

Speaker 4 (38:22):
That their baby is ready to be adopted, and like.

Speaker 2 (38:26):
Part because you've talked about it, right, I don't You
don't think the phones listening to you?

Speaker 10 (38:30):
No, Like it's just funny how I've been seeing these
videos now and I get so excited for these couples
as they get the call that their babies are to
be adopted, their child are to be adopted. And I'm
getting that same rush, right I would get of watching
like a pregnancy announcement video.

Speaker 4 (38:46):
So I feel like that's.

Speaker 2 (38:47):
Like my heart's Well, the beauty of adoption is that
you can tell the child you didn't just happen. We
chose you. We chose you to be part of our hearts,
chose you to be part of our family. You know
that's beautiful.

Speaker 4 (39:00):
Thank's exactly what my husband told me. Oh really exactly.

Speaker 3 (39:03):
Wherever this rose leads for you, Jill, like you have
so much just love to give.

Speaker 2 (39:08):
Thank you. John to play music, Well, I thought you
needed some comedic.

Speaker 3 (39:12):
Really right, I don't need the music.

Speaker 2 (39:15):
No, John needed it. John needed the music. Yeah, John
needed for his delivery. He said, hey, give me some
music behind this. I'd be great if you can. I'm
sure this wonderful text come in like this. Oh Jill,
I'm crying. I can't conceive and I can't afford IVF.
That's a blessing to IVF can be expensive. And I
know that you guys have saved your money and you've

(39:35):
done everything you can. Jill for this because you are
very cheap at lunch. Love you, Jill, I mean, my god,
she used to like Venmo me a couple of bucks
when we go off for lunch nap. The Venmo just disappeared. Man, Yeah,
well named the baby after me because I'm paying for
a lot of tacos. You and your husband in my prayers, Jill.

(39:56):
God's got you, Jill, send you so many prayers. This
is gonna happen for you. Praying fugil guys. That's very sweet.

Speaker 3 (40:01):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (40:01):
Keep that up. She'll read those texts afterwards too. She
may respond to guess as well. Three one four three
one o four.

Speaker 1 (40:06):
To three my FM, here's what's coming up in entertainment
headline right.

Speaker 2 (40:11):
Hit those headlines. What do you got?

Speaker 10 (40:12):
Carbon Electra has one simple condition to join the Baywatch reboot,
and I'll tell you what that is right after traffic.

Speaker 1 (40:19):
One O four to three my FM entertainment headlines.

Speaker 10 (40:24):
Sate McCrae, Grazie Abrams, Lany Wilson, and Becky g are
all included on Time one hundred's most Influential Rising Stars.
They always do these lists of the most important and
the most influential people every year, but this time they're
doing a Time one hundred next and just an opportunity
to recognize those people still on the rise. So Tate McCray,

(40:46):
Gracie Abrams, Glorilla, Becky G and Rema are just some.

Speaker 4 (40:50):
Of the people on that list.

Speaker 10 (40:52):
And Carmon Electra says she has one simple condition to
join the bay Watch reboot, and that is she does
not want to be in the water. She said, I
could do the slow motion run. I could definitely do that.
I still look really good in that suit. That's not
the problem.

Speaker 3 (41:04):
But the water.

Speaker 4 (41:05):
It's the ocean.

Speaker 10 (41:06):
She that I love being around the ocean. Working in
it is very different. When you're working in the ocean,
it is very complicated. So she is open to coming
back to the Baywatch reboot.

Speaker 2 (41:15):
What is it sharks or something or just it takes
more physical energy to work in the ocean.

Speaker 10 (41:19):
Or something like that that it must be it must
be hard filming those scenes and maybe the rescue scenes
and all of that, Like she just wants to be
out of the water, right, Okay, I'm Jill with They're
in timid headlines.

Speaker 2 (41:28):
Have you guys started watching that Guinness show on Netflix?

Speaker 4 (41:30):
No, but I know you love it.

Speaker 2 (41:31):
Oh my god. I've walked in the parking garag yesterday
talking to Paul Corvino, who's our big big, like super
duper big boss here in Los Angeles, and Paul and
I are talking. He was talking about that. He's into
it too. If you like Peaky Bliners, you love this.
I believe it's the same producers or there's there's a
something in between the two there, right, Okay, okay, But
this Guinness thing, it's about this Irish family and the

(41:52):
start of the Guinness beer in Ireland and what it
went through. And it's fictionalized but based on somewhat trueven
so they fictionalized true events and so it's really good.
Oh my god, I'm like five episodes in or something.
I can't get enough of it.

Speaker 4 (42:06):
That's great.

Speaker 2 (42:07):
So I get a fear of my family life? Oh yeah, no,
not beginness. I'm not drinking.

Speaker 3 (42:13):
It's kind of a give us adjacent I guess you
could drink it while you're watching it. Yeah, it's like a.

Speaker 2 (42:21):
Four D experience, four D experience, it's a four pint experience.
Apra Levine, this is complicated battle of sexes coming up.

Speaker 1 (42:29):
Jim out watch Yellen for Los Angeles. Your shot at
one thousand dollars.

Speaker 2 (42:39):

you work for the government, you're being furloughed, or if
you're continuing to work for government, you're not getting a paycheck.
And if this goes two weeks, you don't get a paycheck.
Four weeks, you don't get a paycheck until after it

(43:01):
starts up and opens up again. So anybody's a governmental
employee affected by this, why not take a chance now,
everybody else don't play. Only governmental employees affected by this
should play. Right now. The word is bills b I
L L S. Take that to one O four to
THREEMIFM dot com a little whind that's gonna pop up.
You typeing that word bills, You're in the running for
one thousand bucks or a thousand dollars pill up bills

(43:23):
at one o four THREEMIFN dot com.

Speaker 1 (43:27):
Man, that's.

Speaker 2 (43:33):
One of four to three My fam Edith Valance out
in the morning, Spin Doctor, just two princes. More variety
from the nineties to now reach out. You're part of
our show at three one o four three, one oh
four three. The Taylor Swift contest is underweight. If you
want to see Tailor Swift on Friday night.

Speaker 10 (43:46):
We've got your chance to attend an exclusive MYFM screening.

Speaker 4 (43:50):
Of Taylor Swift's the official release party of a Showgirl.

Speaker 10 (43:52):

that red microphone and send us a talk.

Speaker 4 (43:56):

be qualified for that. Also coming up later on this hour,
what is.

Speaker 7 (44:13):
Your strange talent? Is there something you can do that
like other people can't? But it's like not a conventional talent.

Speaker 2 (44:20):
My wife can take a cherry stem of china, not
with her mouth.

Speaker 3 (44:23):
That is a great examples, right, it's a great example.

Speaker 4 (44:25):
I've seen it done in person.

Speaker 7 (44:27):
Have you seen those those games that you might see
breweries where there's a hook and you have a ring
it's on a string and you have to get it
on the hook.

Speaker 3 (44:33):
I am phenomenal at that day, are you really?

Speaker 7 (44:35):
I don't know how I learned this, but like I
served the angle, I could lock it every time.

Speaker 2 (44:39):
Wow, I can catch flies? What flies? Did you hear that?
What did you give me? What did you give me?
It's you You gave me something you were coughing earlier.
I don't know. So anyway, Yeah, I can catch flies.
If you got a fly inside your house is on later?
That drives you crazy? Right, got to fly meet my dinner. Yes,

(45:01):
I'm the fly catcher. I catch him every time I
have a trick. I'm not mister Miyagi going hot.

Speaker 3 (45:06):
I got it.

Speaker 2 (45:07):
I'm not doing that. I take a clear cup, any
clear cup, right, because flies can't see the cup when
it's clear. Oh, and I slowly get over the fly, slowly, slowly,
and they get it right above the fly. Got my
hand ready to cover the bottom of the cup. He
flies up into the cup. Now I've got the fly
trapped in the cup, my hand on the other end.

(45:27):
Now I dispose of the fly. I'm not gonna tell
you how, because some people apparently got mad and we
said we killed a spider.

Speaker 7 (45:34):
I don't mean to poo poo your idea, but this
feels just like a hack, not a talent. Like if
they can't see the clear cup, can everyone do that?

Speaker 3 (45:40):
No?

Speaker 2 (45:40):
No, because I haven't watched other people try it. They
mess it up. Okay, yeah, they're not good. It's you
have to have a steady hand and you get to
know what you're doing. It's the angle of descent. It's
like when you bring in a big seven thirty seven
for a touchdown. You get it on your angle of descent,
that angle descent with that cup to catch that fly.
People hire me. I take it back, fly king, fly King,
I am the fly. So what is your special talent? Three?

Speaker 3 (46:02):
One four three.

Speaker 2 (46:03):
But right now it is a battle of the sexes

Speaker 2 (47:59):
Wow? Great job. That means we go to a not
so tough tie breaker question, Holler are you named? Knowing
the answer you name will be your buzzer. Wait until
there's social media director Laura finishes asking the question before
you buzz in.

Speaker 4 (48:11):

Speaker 11 (49:28):
Three things you need to know.

Speaker 2 (49:30):
Right now, seven eighteen. It is Valentine in the morning.
This is one of four three MIFM. The federal government
has shut down for the first time of six years
after Congress didn't pass a funding bill. Essential services will
continue with some programs maybe pause. That could include immigration, hearing,
small business loans, and Home Buyer Assistance. TSA is still
up and running. Air Traffic Control all that stuff still

(49:50):
up and running. And if you are a governmental employed
that is still working today and you want us want
to let us know what branch you're in. Please do
reach out so we can let people know who's still
up and running and who's not, because that list is
kind of hard to dissemine as a radio host. Police
are searching for a suspect who stole a fifty pound
fiberglass dinosaur from outside of Sinclair gas station in Brentwood.

(50:14):
Do there's one right down the street. You could start
your own little Jurassic park. For six years or four
foot tall dinosaur dressed in different costumes throughout the year,
customers loved him. Surveillance video shows a man in a
hoodie walking across a parking lot with a power tool
and then bending over to cut the bolts at the
dinosaur's feet. What's he gonna do with them? I know

(50:35):
if you put it outside your house, you're gonna get spotted.

Speaker 11 (50:37):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (50:38):
The suspect then wraps the popular tiny Saurus in a
blanket before tossing it into the back of a pickup
truck and driving away. Since the theft, the gas station
has been flooded with flowers. I hope they find tiny saurs.

Speaker 3 (50:53):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (50:54):
John was trending music.

Speaker 7 (50:55):
Oh, well, Charlie Pooth has some new music coming. He
is been playing some small jazz shows in New York.
He's coming here to do some in LA as well.

Speaker 2 (51:02):
So in those shows he's been playing some new songs,
including this one called Changes, so you.

Speaker 3 (51:17):
Can hear it's a little jazzy.

Speaker 7 (51:18):
It's a phone audio obviously, but he's coming here to
LA to play some of those shows here in October.
We know an album is coming, but we don't have
the official date on that yet. We do know that
maybe we'll get a new song this month, and maybe
an album as early as the end of the year.

Speaker 3 (51:30):
I'm Jack muchI. That's what's trending in music.

Speaker 2 (51:36):
Eight sixty six five four four of ifm If you
want to call it tor show or text in three
one oh four three, What special talent you have? That's
what we're talking about this hour. Do you have a
special talent?

Speaker 10 (51:46):
This tex says I can guess the exact number of
seconds left in a microwave countdown just by the sound.

Speaker 4 (51:51):
Another text I like can fold.

Speaker 2 (51:54):
How could you guess the amount of time left in
a microwave?

Speaker 3 (51:57):
But a sound in the micro I don't know. That's
it's like you're just guessing.

Speaker 4 (52:02):
I can fuld a fitted sheet perfectly, okay.

Speaker 10 (52:05):
And then this text says I can tell if someone's
lying based on how they say, huh, Hello, it's me.

Speaker 2 (52:29):
One of four to three my fam It's Valentine the morning.
Huh eight sixty six five four four fan text and
three one o four three.

Speaker 10 (52:35):
What's your weird talent? This text says I could wiggle
my ears, but just the left one. I don't know
why it just happened. One day another person said I
can identify the chip brand based on the crunch sound.
It's useless, but impressive at parties.

Speaker 2 (52:54):
Kathy, good morning, Hi, Good morning, Kath. Where are you at?

Speaker 3 (52:59):
What's going on the background?

Speaker 2 (53:00):
Oh?

Speaker 16 (53:00):
All my kids?

Speaker 14 (53:01):
I got all five of my kids in the car.

Speaker 3 (53:03):
Holy?

Speaker 2 (53:04):
Five kids in the car?

Speaker 6 (53:07):
Yes?

Speaker 14 (53:07):
Stay hi, everybody?

Speaker 2 (53:09):
He high five kids. Who's the oldest?

Speaker 4 (53:13):
So?

Speaker 13 (53:13):
I have a thirteen, twelve, ten, a three, and a
one year old next month?

Speaker 3 (53:20):
Holy mother?

Speaker 2 (53:21):
Everything? Thirteen year old? You shall speak for the family.
What's your name?

Speaker 1 (53:27):
Evan?

Speaker 16 (53:28):
Oh, he's pass asleep, Evan.

Speaker 2 (53:30):
Saying hi, okay, thirteen year old shall not speak for
the family, Kathy, what is your special talent? Besides popping
out babies.

Speaker 16 (53:38):
Beside popping out babies, I could do the woody woodpecker laugh.

Speaker 2 (53:42):
All right, let's hear it.

Speaker 4 (53:49):
Wow's really good.

Speaker 3 (53:58):
Watching a battle right now.

Speaker 2 (54:00):
This is insane better, all right, Kathy, have a great day. Sorry,
we woke up to thirteen year old with a put
a becker there.

Speaker 13 (54:07):
Okay, thanks guys, we love you.

Speaker 3 (54:10):
I love you.

Speaker 1 (54:10):
To text Valentine in the morning at three one oh
four to three.

Speaker 2 (54:14):
Governmental shutdown has started. At it's seven thirty two. Some
people kind of confused reaching out saying they have jury
duty today, but why if there is a governmental shutdown.
This is a federal governmental shutdown. It does not affect
the state. It's a federal sided thing. I wouldn't even
know if you were being called for a federal grand
jury or something, if you report or not. I have
no idea. Folks texting in they're in the Air Force,

(54:35):
are going into work today. Some of the text people
going to work to work for the government. Veterans Affairs,
Department of Veterans Affairs. They're still up and running.

Speaker 3 (54:43):
Two.

Speaker 2 (54:43):
So certain things are shut down. Certain things are not.
The National Park Service. I don't know what they decided
with over our what four hundred national parks, whether they're
open or not, I don't know, so some things are closed.
If you have any business with the government, you should
check that before you start knocking on door. Today, weather morning, clouds, Sunday,
this afternoon, seventy slow eighties fifty eight, Valencia sixty englendor

(55:05):
Jill's got the entertainment headlines coming up.

Speaker 1 (55:07):
It's official.

Speaker 10 (55:08):
Zach Galavianakis is returning to television. I'll tell you about
his new show coming up at seven fifty.

Speaker 2 (55:13):
Debbie, good morning. How are you today?

Speaker 8 (55:16):
Good morning?

Speaker 6 (55:17):
How are you?

Speaker 2 (55:17):
We're doing pretty good. What's your special talent?

Speaker 8 (55:19):
Deb I can tell when the bug is in the room.
I can feel it.

Speaker 3 (55:25):
What you can feel a bug in the room.

Speaker 8 (55:28):
Yeah, even if it's dark, huh. I can you know,
like when thet bug is in the room and I
can turn on the right if it's dark, and there'll
be a spider up there, right or a moss or
whatever bug is up there. I could just feel it
and look up and it's there.

Speaker 2 (55:45):
Okay. I had something happened the other day and I
don't know if it's talent or I'm insane, right, do
you know sometimes you can see the heat coming off
the pavement. You can actually see the waves of the
heat floating. You've ever seen that, right, Yeah?

Speaker 5 (55:56):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (55:56):
Or you can see gas coming out of something. It
was a get a piper. You could kind of see
that sometimes, like the exhaust fumes coming out of your
roof from where you're a gas water heater or something
like that.

Speaker 4 (56:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (56:06):
So looking in our backyard, there's no gas line, know,
nothing there, right, It's kind of a little hillside thing.
And I could see waves coming off the hillside there,
just through the air, whether it was heat rising off
or something. But it wasn't really hot outsides. I didn't
know what it was. There was some like woodships and
stuff over there. It's kind of like a little wooded
area and nothing going on. And I said to my wife,
can you see that? She goes, no, I can't see

(56:27):
anything out you're talking about. And I kept thinking, am
I spider man? Am I something? Do I have some
special talent that I can see that stuff? She can't
see a.

Speaker 4 (56:36):
Little different like X ray visions.

Speaker 2 (56:37):
Yes, I could see the waves in the air that
something was different, something was rising up, and my little
spectrograph of a mind I could see something.

Speaker 4 (56:46):
Yeah, so what'd you do about it?

Speaker 2 (56:47):
I went in and had a sandwich. What was I
gonna do about it?

Speaker 3 (56:51):
I don't know. Dad.

Speaker 2 (56:53):
Do you keep the bugs out of the house for everybody?

Speaker 3 (56:54):
Then?

Speaker 8 (56:56):
Yes, because I can, I can tell.

Speaker 2 (56:59):
Do you catch them as them free or do you
send them on their way?

Speaker 8 (57:03):
My husband catches them and shuts them free?

Speaker 3 (57:06):
All right? Thanks debs.

Speaker 8 (57:09):
So I listen to you guys every morning. You start
my day off right, going to work in my live all.

Speaker 15 (57:15):
Of you and Jill.

Speaker 8 (57:15):
I'm going to pray for you.

Speaker 4 (57:17):
Oh, thank you very much. I appreciate that.

Speaker 2 (57:19):
You're very sweet. Debbie, thank you so much for calling it.
Appreciate you.

Speaker 8 (57:22):
Take care, okay, YouTube, bye bye.

Speaker 2 (57:25):
Good morning, Modesto. How are you good?

Speaker 3 (57:28):
Are you good? All right?

Speaker 2 (57:29):
So what do you do? What's your special talent?

Speaker 12 (57:32):
So I can roll one on forward and the other
one backwards simultaneously. So it's like when you're like, you know,
you see those people punching the punching bag, and so
I can do one forward and one backward at the
same time.

Speaker 3 (57:44):
Huh.

Speaker 2 (57:45):
I'm not sure I'm following because I'm trying to do it.

the upper part of his ear into his ear hole
and it stays.

Speaker 2 (01:03:10):
Okay, Now, is this something he does with another hand
or does he have some muscle where he can actually
bring down the ear into the ear hole?

Speaker 14 (01:03:19):
So he does do with his with his hand. But
if you try it, and everybody ways asked about it,
nobody can successfully do it, even like his younger nephew,
like his cousins, like it is a very unique thing.

Speaker 2 (01:03:33):
That only no it can do. All right, So we're
going to try it here in the studio. We're not
gonna film it, Laura. Sorry, and I've got so I'm
bringing down the upper portion of my ear and I'm
trying to shove it in the ear hole, not going Yeah,
that's not happening. Actually hurt, Yeah, it does hurt. Why
would he do that? Yeah, I can't get it stuck
in the hole. Wait, wait a minute, Wait a minute,

your ear in the hole.

Speaker 13 (01:04:18):
So he does, all right?

Speaker 2 (01:04:21):
And how old is he? In seven?

Speaker 5 (01:04:23):

I feel like this is a year to really enjoy
the holidays. My son is seventeen and he's going to
be going off to college next year. So this entire
like fall season of you know, the autumnal mood of
October and then into Thanksgiving and Christmas. I really want
to make it special for him because then he's off
to college.

Speaker 9 (01:05:37):
Right, that's not your business.

Speaker 13 (01:05:42):
Every year you do want I'm sorry, sitting Againeen.

the studio.

Speaker 12 (01:05:55):
Oh yes we can.

Yeah what, No, you're not coming. This is getting to
be very confusing. So I understand that it's not necessarily
your happy news? Is it somebody else you work with
their happy news?

Speaker 5 (01:06:08):

Speaker 13 (01:06:08):
Actually, my supervisor, she's right here, and she's the.

Speaker 2 (01:06:25):
I love it. What's your happiness, jess.

Speaker 16 (01:06:28):
Okay, So, like, let me give you a thirty second story.
I just bought plane tickets to fly home and see
family that I haven't seen in a while. But I
used a credit card that I didn't have money for,
and then I won a thousand dollars on a scratcher yesterday,
which paid for my plane ticket.

Speaker 2 (01:06:42):
Oh that's awesome, that's great. Yeah, so it is all set.
You were gonna go, didn't have the money to pay
for it, you didn't care, but then all of a sudden,
you one thousand bucks on a scratcher.

Speaker 16 (01:06:51):
Yeah, I had to that's so cool new baby. So
you know, I just was like, oh, I'll see in
debt for her.

Speaker 2 (01:06:59):
I'll be debt for the baby. Well that's awesome. We'll
have a safe trip.

Speaker 3 (01:07:02):
When do you leave?

Speaker 16 (01:07:04):
I be in February.

Speaker 2 (01:07:06):
Okay, got just a bit away, but okay, gotcha.

Speaker 13 (01:07:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:07:10):
Do you want another thousand dollars?

Speaker 16 (01:07:13):
Of course I do.

Speaker 2 (01:07:14):
We're gonna do that right after Serena Carpenter another thousand?
You thought I was just handing it to her. Has
that happened before with me in the past. Yes, I've
just given people money.

Speaker 4 (01:07:24):
Yes, in the past.

Speaker 3 (01:07:25):
Oh yeah. Oh everyone call now and ask wait a minute.

Speaker 2 (01:07:28):
No no, no, no, no.

Speaker 10 (01:07:30):
No, no no no no, no, no no no.

Speaker 2 (01:07:34):
I told you guys, I got to kick going to college.
That passing out money stuff out of my own pocket
is long gone. I'm so sorry.

Speaker 3 (01:07:39):
You're a thousand bucks coming up next after Sabrina.

Speaker 11 (01:07:42):
Canell me.

Speaker 1 (01:07:50):
Los Angeles. Your shot at one thousand dollars?

Speaker 2 (01:07:53):
Now, all right, here's the word if you want to
take it to one of four to three my off
dot com for one thousand bucks right now, one A
four to three. The word is credit. See r E
ed it credit. You take that to one A four
to three MYAFM dot com. A little window's gonna pop up.
Type in the word credit. Then you're in the running
for one thousand dollars or one thousand dollars phillip. This
is good for the next fifty to fifty five minutes.

(01:08:14):
If you want that grand then we change it to
a different word. So if you got a chance, a
new way to work, a new way to school, somebody
go to one A four to three MYFM dot com.
When the window pops up, you type in the word
credits is.

Speaker 3 (01:08:26):
One and this town's lost its faith. O God, that's
full faith.

Speaker 2 (01:08:38):
One four three, my fam. It's Valentine in the morning,
coming up later on this hour. Did you touch it?
I did touch it. You picked it up based on
the material. I had to see what it felt like.
So it's sitting right there, and you know it's not yours, definitely,
and you know it's somebody else's. And you was on

(01:08:58):
the bed, was on the floor.

Speaker 3 (01:09:00):
In a drawer.

Speaker 2 (01:09:01):
It was in a drawer. It was in a drawer.
Was it folded or disheveled?

Speaker 3 (01:09:04):
It was?

Speaker 2 (01:09:05):
It was on display. I would say what display? And
you just reached in, touched it, picked it up. Did
you look at the size?

Speaker 3 (01:09:14):
I did? That was very noticeable to you. Look at
the brand? There wasn't one, I believe.

Speaker 2 (01:09:19):
Was it something that you could see yourself wearing based
on what you saw?

Speaker 7 (01:09:23):
I thought about it. I've never worn it before, okay,
but I thought about it in this particular moment, even
though it wasn't yours. Correct, you would not have worn
it in that moment though. I wouldn't have worn this pair.

Speaker 2 (01:09:34):
You would have taken it home and washed it, or
gotten a pair that looked like it, gotten a pair
that looked like it. So you didn't have one of these? No, okay?
Later on theur what have you found in a hotel room?

Speaker 4 (01:09:44):
I'm so dregued.

Speaker 7 (01:09:45):
I've been literally just happened in Vegas when we were

Speaker 12 (01:11:28):
Uh, yes, that's right.

Speaker 2 (01:11:35):
Do you ever hear me sing that song creepily?

Speaker 11 (01:13:01):
Free things you need to know right now?

Speaker 2 (01:13:04):
All right, it is eight seventeen, it's Valentine in the morning.
This is one of four to three mile fam billionaire
billionaire Vinnie Smith ain't knowing he just bought land in
El Segundo for fifty four million with plans to build
a wave pool. Smith is a man behind the Palm
Springs Surf Club. Now he's bringing the idea right here
to Los Angeles. Supporters say could ease crowded beaches and

(01:13:25):
dirty ocean water after storms, some even calling it top
golf for surfing.

Speaker 3 (01:13:31):
Stop that's sin.

Speaker 2 (01:13:33):
My kid would be so into this. He loves to surf,
which is such a fun thing to say, because I
grew up in the East Coast. I gre up in Connecticut,
and I never thought that I was son that surfs.
He's got a surfboard in the groage. He goes to
his friends, puts on the wet suit and goes out
there and catches waves. I'm so proud of him. The
Dodgers jumped out to a big lead on the Rads,
but had to fight off a late rallity to take
Game one of the Wildcard Series. Alia's bullpen threw fifty

(01:13:55):
nine pitches in the eighth, the most in a playoff
inning since nineteen eighty eight. History says that's good news.
A game one winner in advanced eighteen of twenty times.
John was trying to get music.

Speaker 3 (01:14:05):
So Benson Boone was at the Crypto dot Com Arena
last night.

Speaker 7 (01:14:08):
His tour has gone pretty viral for these different covers
that he does at each stop. Last night, he performed
Die with a Smile from Lady guygu on Bruno Mars.

Speaker 3 (01:14:27):
And you know what I found interesting.

Speaker 2 (01:14:30):
It's like, it's great, it sounds phenomenal, but then it
has spoiled us with some actual, like one hundred percent
top tier covers that like you almost.

Speaker 3 (01:14:38):
Grow to expect that you know, and this was is good.

Speaker 1 (01:14:42):
It's good.

Speaker 2 (01:14:42):
It's yeah, but you heard me go and it's good.
He's talented, he's amazing, but those Adele covers were insane.

Speaker 15 (01:14:50):
Dude.

Speaker 3 (01:14:51):
He did Iris from the Google Dolls too, and it
it blew my mind.

Speaker 2 (01:14:55):
Is this your girlfriend's audio again.

Speaker 3 (01:14:57):
No, no, this is someone else with clearly cheap seats.
We need someone who's a lot closer to the stage
to send us audio.

Speaker 7 (01:15:03):
Please fine, we'll post the video up on ourselves, just
if you want to see it. At Valentine in the Morning,
I'm John Comuci.

Speaker 3 (01:15:08):
That's what's training in Music eighteen.

Speaker 2 (01:15:12):
It's Valentine in the Morning. So you go to a
hotel and you find something in the hotel. John found
something actually thought about wearing it. We'll tell you what
that was right after Lola Young. This is messing one
of four to three MYFM one month time, Britney. It's

(01:15:37):

the Morning. John's gonna talk about what he found in
the hotel in a couple seconds. First off, though, texts
coming in three one O four three and Facebook as well.
Hop on Facebook, Facebook, dot com slash Valentine in the Morning.

Speaker 10 (01:15:49):
What weird thing did you find in a hotel room?
This tech says, literally another person in the bed. They
assigned the room accidentally to two different people.

Speaker 2 (01:15:58):
Can you imagine walking to your hotel room the key
works right, you walk in and there's somebody laying in
your bed and you're like, what's up?

Speaker 6 (01:16:06):
What?

Speaker 4 (01:16:07):
Sorry?

Speaker 2 (01:16:07):
Do you come with the room?

Speaker 10 (01:16:08):
No, Mike texted it and said there was a big
dinosaur toy under the bed, and then Christy.

Speaker 2 (01:16:14):
That's the dinosaur this stole from the gas station. They
stole the tiny sores from the Sinclair gas station and
they hit it.

Speaker 10 (01:16:23):
And then Christy texted it and said a full uneaten
burrito was left behind on a plate on the.

Speaker 2 (01:16:29):
Table with a note enjoy. That's very funny. So John,
you get to your hotel room at the Iheartrat Music Festival,
and what do you find?

Speaker 7 (01:16:37):
So I check in and I'm one of those guys
that likes to unpack my entire suitcase, Like I put
stuff in the doors, I hang it in the closet
and so all that stuff. So I opened one of
the doors and there's a pair of men's underwear there.
Now I know their men's underwear because like they're not boxers.
Imagine like tidy whities but black and silk. And they
were not folded. They were laid out for me as

(01:16:59):
if like like you were laying it out to where
the next day, and they're just like laying there in
the Dyer. So there's no tag on them or anything.
They look like new I think, so, like I picked
them up just like looking at these things. They're honestly
really nice and I feel like they were comfortable and
like if they would fit me, I would have been like, oh,
I wouldn't have wanted this specific pair obviously, but yeah

(01:17:20):
because this gross. Yeah, but this pair is like an
XCEL too, so it was a big boys It was
a big boys set under her.

Speaker 10 (01:17:25):
So they're like bikini bottoms almost like.

Speaker 1 (01:17:27):
Yeah, okay, silky.

Speaker 2 (01:17:29):
It's not a speedo. They're not that much.

Speaker 3 (01:17:32):
No, not that much.

Speaker 2 (01:17:33):
They were like bikini bottoms, like those sort of you
know what I mean. They're like the tidy white like
like just bikini bottoms. Yeah, they're like bikini bottoms, and
they were silky silk. I even asked the housekeeper. I
was like, are these yours? I was just like I
found these. They're really nice, but you know where these belong?
And then she was like, no, they're yours.

Speaker 1 (01:17:53):
They're yours.

Speaker 2 (01:17:54):
I was like no, no, no, like Merry Christmas, they're yours.

Speaker 3 (01:17:56):
Yeah, I think that's what she meant, like you have them,
And I was like no, no, they're not mine, and
she's like, no, they're yours.

Speaker 2 (01:18:01):
Was there a language barrier? Is she speaking?

Speaker 3 (01:18:03):
No, there's a little language berry.

Speaker 2 (01:18:04):
All right, So now you got She's like, I don't
want these. She thinks you're coming on to her or
something like that.

Speaker 4 (01:18:08):
Like super soft, super silky, they were really nice.

Speaker 2 (01:18:11):
Why were you feeling these so much?

Speaker 13 (01:18:12):
To know?

Speaker 2 (01:18:12):
If they're super soft and super silky, it's somebody's underwear
in a drawer that's not your underwear, that's the thing.
I don't think they were used. You don't know they
were used.

Speaker 3 (01:18:22):
Yeah, I don't know they were used.

Speaker 4 (01:18:23):
No, they were probably used in that person left them
out for you to find.

Speaker 3 (01:18:27):
No, dude, there was not a wrinkle on this pair,
like not, Well, there's silk still doesn't wrinkle at all.

Speaker 10 (01:18:32):
Types of yeah, type of material where you could wear
all night and then you take them off and they're
still like super super.

Speaker 4 (01:18:38):
Unwrinkled.

Speaker 10 (01:18:41):
Really, go on, do you want to say there's just
some material that doesn't wrinkle as much as you know
you're trying.

Speaker 3 (01:18:48):
To have a baby. We get it, we get it.

Speaker 2 (01:18:50):
You're aware of these materials. You're very up to speed
on these, John, I would have I would not have
touched them with my hands. I would have picked them
up with like that hotel pen.

Speaker 3 (01:18:59):
Yeah, and then tell me in the trash.

Speaker 2 (01:19:01):
Yeah, it's just somebody else's underwear.

Speaker 7 (01:19:02):
I just feel like if they were used, they would
have been like cringled up in a corner, like even
folded or something like that.

Speaker 3 (01:19:06):
I don't know, they didn't didn't.

Speaker 2 (01:19:08):
Totally off topic speaking of underwear though, something I did
the other day and I got massive points for it,
like massive points. So I do my own laundry, right,
and so I'm doing my laundry because it helps out
my wife. So I'm doing my laundry and about to
put it in the dryer, but my wife's clothes are
in the dryer, so I took hers out. In the past,
i've just put them on to up with the drawer.
But it took him out, and I took time to

(01:19:29):
fold him nice, neat, And I was holding her underwear
and going through them and put them in a nice
little pile, nice and neat. She was so impressed that
I had taken out her clothing and folded it nice
and need on the side.

Speaker 3 (01:19:41):
Oh nice, I know, I'm amazing.

Speaker 7 (01:19:43):
Yeah, folding girl's clothing makes no sense to me, Like
I'll do it for my girlfriend. Sometimes I don't know
how to separate the piles of where they go. I
don't know how to fold some of this stuff, like.

Speaker 2 (01:19:51):
Well, the underwear is kind of weird, and some of
the shirts with like poopy sleeves, I don't know, they're
like weird. So it wasn't the best folding job I did.

Speaker 4 (01:19:58):
Yeah, just the fact that you did, right.

Speaker 2 (01:20:00):
I made an attempt at it, right, that's the attempt.
Maybe you were making an attempt to fold this guy's
underwear that she mounted at the hotel test.

Speaker 1 (01:20:06):
To Valentine in the morning at three one oh four
to three.

Speaker 2 (01:20:09):
All right, it is eight thirty four. The weather today
a few morning clouds Sunday this afternoon sent the temps
seventies to low eighties. Fifty eight Valencia, sixty two in Glendora.
Jill's got the entertainment headlines coming up.

Speaker 10 (01:20:21):
So Mariah Carry is talking again about those Anderson Pack dating.

Speaker 4 (01:20:25):
Rumors, and now she's given us a little bit more.

Speaker 3 (01:20:29):
Of a morsel.

Speaker 4 (01:20:29):
I'll say what she said about it.

Speaker 10 (01:20:30):
Coming up.

Speaker 2 (01:20:30):
At eight fifty John found some underwear, some silky bikini
briefs in a drawer in Vegas when he went to
the hotel room. So curious what you found inside your
hotel room. John did go on to say during the
commercials that he wondered if they were kind of like
hot top time machine, like if you put them on,
would you have an amazing night? His girlfriend and Liba
said no, don't put them on. I don't want to

(01:20:52):
find out. But he really thought there was some kind
of time portal or some kind of superpower that you
put on these silky bikini briefs or silky kanies that
he found inside the drawer, something would happen.

Speaker 3 (01:21:02):
Yeah, it's the way they were laid out in the jaw.
It's like when like Spider Man opens up the drawer
and like the spidy suit is just there.

Speaker 6 (01:21:07):
You know.

Speaker 2 (01:21:07):
It was just like this pair of perfect so it
was too perfect, Like they took time to put it
like that. Nobody would have thrown it in. They took
time to pull it from the edges and the left
and the right and the center pulled down there to
make it perfectly. Said as if was there a light
when you opened the drawer, like there should have been,
like if there was a light in there. I would
have put them on, like a display light you put
over a painting or something like some music and some

(01:21:28):
smoke comes out. I would have put them on. It's
the gift of the bikini briefs. They must put these on.
We got Facebook posts coming in and text coming in too.

Speaker 4 (01:21:37):
And John, you're not alone because this Texas. When my
family and I stayed.

Speaker 10 (01:21:40):
In the hotel, someone left behind a used bikini. I
don't know what used means. Maybe it was still wet,
I'm not sure. Another textats my friend found two hundred
dollars in the Bible once in a hotel room, so
now I look inside every Bible. And then this text says,
when I walked into my hotel room, a man was
sitting on the toilet reading the newspaper.

Speaker 4 (01:21:59):
I then tiptoed backwards and out the door. He never
knew I was there.

Speaker 3 (01:22:05):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 2 (01:22:07):
Can you imagine guys on the toiler read the newspaper
where you walk in the hotel.

Speaker 3 (01:22:11):
He doesn't even notice that you're there.

Speaker 17 (01:22:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:22:14):
I would have been like, Hey, you're gonna finish?

Speaker 13 (01:22:15):
That is it?

Speaker 2 (01:22:15):
The sports section? What do you got?

Speaker 3 (01:22:17):
Trenty o the Dodgers did last night in the Wildcard.
If you got that section.

Speaker 2 (01:22:21):
Things Lady Guy got Bruno mar Is It is Valentine

Speaker 1 (01:22:25):

You could be seeing the official release party of A
show girl Friday night, absolutely can.

Speaker 17 (01:24:00):
Can I just tell you, guys, how absolutely moving that
whole piece was about Jill just now? And I just
absolutely love how how real and raw it was. And
just know that, Jill, you have so many people out
here praying for you and hoping that that this works

(01:24:20):
for you, and it just what a heartfelt piece like
when there's so much negativity out there like.

Speaker 3 (01:24:25):
This was so.

Speaker 2 (01:24:31):
That thirty second cut her off. Jill talked about her
infertility journey earlier on the show today. It'll be available
on the podcast and she'll of course talk about it more.
But that was a very raw, real moment. When was
that about six six six fifty or so. And our podcast,
if you want to hear, is available after the show
after we get off the air. Adam's going to cut

(01:24:51):
it up and he takes out commercials and songs. So
it's just the conversations that we had with you and
in the room and stuff. And it was a very
very touching, very heartfelt moment with this young lady opened
up about his struggles to become a mom. So if
anybody else is struggling with infertity issues or trying to
have a child, if you're in that world, that's the
world she lives in right now. So you could hear
that on the podcast afterwards. No, no, don't cry again,

(01:25:16):
I can make you laugh.

Speaker 4 (01:25:17):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (01:25:18):
I really would have paid that woman money if she
said all that and then just said, Taylor Swift.

Speaker 1 (01:25:27):
One O four to three, here's what's coming up in
entertainment headlines.

Speaker 10 (01:25:33):
So yesterday we were talking about Nicole Kidman and Keith
Urban separating and breaking up, and I kept saying, no, no, no,
it's just rumors.

Speaker 4 (01:25:40):
We don't have confirmation. Yet we got confirmation. I'll tell
you what happened right after Traffic one O four to three.

Speaker 1 (01:25:46):
My SM entertainment headlines.

Speaker 10 (01:25:49):
Brag Harry has been very coy when she talks about
Anderson Pack and if they really are dating in the past.

Speaker 4 (01:25:55):
She said, they just.

Speaker 10 (01:25:56):
Friends, They've just been working on the album. They just
like to hold hands. Well, she was talking to Kekey
Palmer on her podcast and she said they met while
working on her new album, and Mariah said, I just
felt like his style of music would really blend well
with mine. And then Kekey Palmer kind of pressed and said, well,
is there a little love between you guys?

Speaker 4 (01:26:14):
And Mariah Carey said maybe a little love. Who knows.

Speaker 10 (01:26:18):
This is the first time she's actually kind of implied
that she might be dating Anderson Pack. And yesterday when
we were talking about Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban breaking up,
I said, we hadn't heard anything from them, nothing is confirmed.

Speaker 4 (01:26:31):
I thought they might have been just rumors. But now
it's official.

Speaker 10 (01:26:34):
Nicole Kidman has filed for divorce from Keith Urban after
almost twenty years of marriage. I'm Jill there TAMD headline,
so I hear though, yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:26:43):
To eight fifty two. It is one of four to
three my famites. Valentine Morning. This is purely meant just
to let you know how much people care about you.

Speaker 3 (01:26:49):
Oh no, no, that's one hundred.

Speaker 2 (01:26:51):
This is only meant for this reason. Okay, okay, it
is not meant for anything.

Speaker 4 (01:26:55):
Else, and you're gonna play this.

Speaker 3 (01:26:57):
This just happens to be what was coming up next.

Speaker 9 (01:27:00):
Good morning everybody, Jill. I just heard your story about
your doctor's appointment yesterday. Wishing you and Jeff all the best,
sending you.

Speaker 8 (01:27:09):
Good ju ju and oh much.

Speaker 11 (01:27:12):
It's gonna work out. It's gonna work out.

Speaker 9 (01:27:15):
I just pray that everything works out for you guys,
and you.

Speaker 4 (01:27:18):
Guys have your baby and you guys are gonna be great.

Speaker 8 (01:27:21):
Parents, godless and sending you all the good you do.
Love you guys, the show me.

Speaker 6 (01:27:29):
Jill, sending you a big, big hug.

Speaker 14 (01:27:32):
This is Wendy from Valve to your middle school.

Speaker 8 (01:27:35):
I am in tears as I'm driving into work.

Speaker 16 (01:27:38):
And the future child that I'm sure is going to
happen is going to be so lucky to have your love.

Speaker 17 (01:27:47):
Well you and I just absolutely love how how real
and raw it was. And just know that if Jill,
you have so many people out here praying for you
and hoping that that this works for you, and it
just what a heartfelt piece.

Speaker 12 (01:28:04):
Is a full sum.

Speaker 1 (01:28:09):
Taylor Clarn.

Speaker 10 (01:28:19):
The amazing texts that have come through, you know, direct
messages on Instagram.

Speaker 4 (01:28:22):
I really really appreciate it.

Speaker 10 (01:28:24):
I know that so many people have so many things
going on in their lives and all the ups and downs,
and so many people have dealt with infertility and trying to.

Speaker 3 (01:28:31):
Have a baby.

Speaker 10 (01:28:32):
So I really appreciate everybody's saying that they're praying, they're
sending their love, like it really really means a lot.

Speaker 2 (01:28:37):
Oh that's sweet.

Speaker 4 (01:28:38):
I went yesterday just for people who weren't listening.

Speaker 2 (01:28:40):
Yeah, no, thank you.

Speaker 10 (01:28:41):
I went yesterday, And what we thought was going to
be the start of another round, we're just gonna have
to wait a little bit longer. My body is just
basically just not responding to the medications. It's just kind
of doing its own thing and not doing what it
should be doing. And I'm like, for instance, if I
was supposed to be on day seven of my monthly cycle,

(01:29:02):
my body is like day twenty eight, Like it just
kind of like zipped right past, and so it's not
doing what the medication should.

Speaker 2 (01:29:07):
Has like a hyper speed. It's trying to zip through
the Netflix show before it's over.

Speaker 4 (01:29:12):
Honestly, I think that's kind of me when.

Speaker 3 (01:29:14):
I pressed the ten second fast forward a show. If
I'm bored Yeah, so.

Speaker 10 (01:29:17):
We're gonna try the medication again for another seven days.
And yeah, my doctor and his nurse there, they're so wonderful.
And at the end of the appointment, we were all
three just kind of saying like, Okay, there is hope.
It's not a closed door. There's still hope, and we're
going to hang on to that and we're gonna see
after this seven days if we are able to do
another agg retrieval. The first time it didn't work with

(01:29:38):
my frozen eggs, we lost all the embryos. But this
time we're gonna try again, hopefully be able to do
one more agritrieval, and.

Speaker 4 (01:29:45):
Hopefully be able to have a baby.

Speaker 3 (01:29:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:29:48):
Well, I appreciate all the prayers and all the thoughts.

Speaker 2 (01:29:50):
It's just it's overwhelming, and I just I'm so happy
for you in the sense that the voices of people
that listen to the show, that have heard you over
the years and that find you to be a family member,
be the connection to radio and maybe they met you
in person Disneyland, because odds are they probably did. I
love how they're so invested in you and Jeff as
a family, as people. Uh, and they really they will

(01:30:12):
talk about this at lunch, at dinner, and they will
wish you nothing but the best. And maybe when they
lay their head to rest upon the pill and go
to sleep tonight, maybe within your mind's eye, when they
close their eyes and there they are in the darkness,
they will think of you and Jeff with fondness and
say a little prayer for you that this family comes
your way.

Speaker 4 (01:30:27):
It really means a lot.

Speaker 10 (01:30:28):
Like I love when people say, you know, I've never
met you, but I feel like you're my best friend
like that.

Speaker 4 (01:30:33):
I just that's that's just so cool. That's just well,
it's so great.

Speaker 2 (01:30:38):
We're hoping for the best. And uh, you know, our
stories all unfold sometimes as they unfold, and so the
writing is not on that page yet, and we'll see
what your story is to tell.

Speaker 10 (01:30:49):
My nurse actually emailed me this morning. I don't know
if she was listening or maybe she was just like that,
that was good, Taylor Swift, she emailed me, John.

Speaker 2 (01:31:00):
No, there has to be a little comic relief sub time.
I understand what he's doing.

Speaker 3 (01:31:03):
I just you know, you know, I love it.

Speaker 10 (01:31:06):
But she said, she said, the female body truly is incredible.
It goes through so much and still manages to do
amazing things.

Speaker 4 (01:31:12):
Just know we will get there. It might take time,
but I feel success is coming.

Speaker 3 (01:31:16):
So yeah, and then she closed her note she wants
to tailor Swift tickets. I get it, I got it.

Speaker 2 (01:31:25):
Thank you, Jill, Thank you guys. Eight fifty six, there's
one thousand dollars coming to an exit. Is one of

Speaker 10 (01:32:11):

Speaker 1 (01:32:34):
Good morning, my FM gang Taylor Swift.

Speaker 11 (01:32:39):
My name's Chad Lloyd phone number nine three seven perfose.

Speaker 2 (01:32:44):
Mixing it up the Chad Ster doing the Taylor Swift first,
You're crazy, guys.

Speaker 11 (01:32:49):
Three things you need to know right now, all right.

Speaker 2 (01:32:53):
Officials are saying at least sixty nine people at this
point have lost their lives in a six point nine
magnitude earthquake in the Central Philippines yesterday. The quake occurred
at the northern tip of the island of Saboo, which
is a home to three point two million people. Rescuers
are currently sifting through rubble for survivors as authorities rushed
to deliver aid and restore electricity communication lines. We have

(01:33:13):
a very large Filipino population in southern California. I hope
that your loved ones are okay, if you have people
back in the islands, but I wanted to make sure
we got that story out there. Police are searching for
a suspect to stole a fifty pound fiberglass dinosaur from
outside of Sinclair Gas Station. Brentwood, you may have seen
these outside of Sinclair's. They have big green dinosaurs. We
have one just right down the street here. For six years,

(01:33:34):
this four foot tall dinosaur dressed in different costumes throughout
the year. Customers loved him. Surveillance video shows a man
walking across the parking lot with a power tool, then
bending over to cut the bolts at the dinosaur's feet.
The suspect wraps it in a blanket before tossing it
into the back of a pickup truck and driving away.
Since then, since that theft, the gas station has been

(01:33:57):
flooded with flowers and remember at the site of the
tiny soaurus. Messed up man John. What's trending in music?

Speaker 3 (01:34:06):
So, Charlie Pooth. He's got some new music coming out.

Speaker 2 (01:34:09):
He recently just announced some small like jazz live shows
in New York and LA. He's played some of the
New York ones already, and he's been teasing some new
music like this right here.

Speaker 7 (01:34:17):
It's a song called Changes. And then he's going to
be coming to LA and he'll play some of these
songs as well. Right here at a very super small venue.
Now he did say he's got a new album coming.
We don't know if he could start teasing that or
dropping that this month, but he said it might come
as late as early next year.

Speaker 3 (01:34:32):
I'm John Kamuchi. That's what's trending in music.

Speaker 2 (01:34:42):

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
