Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's the Valentine in the Morning replay. Welcome to the
breakfast table of Valentine in the Morning.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
I laughed heartily.

Speaker 1 (00:06):
Oh my God, help us respectful to say I love you.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
The full show podcast starts right now.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
One of four three. My FAMMI is Valentine in the Morning.
Good morning, Jill. How you doing.

Speaker 4 (00:19):
I'm okay, doing well. Saturday night was so fun, wasn't
it great? So great?

Speaker 1 (00:23):
Yeah, it was. It was a long day. And Sunday
was fun. Clean up Sunday.

Speaker 4 (00:29):
Oh yeah, yesterday was.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
Clean up Sunday. And uh yeah, my kid he's in Mexico,
so he left yesterday and then all the relatives that
were there all left yesterday. So cleanup Sunday was the
fun day for the spouse in the house.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
Yikes, because we partied.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Yes, you did.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
That was awesome.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
Your children, Your children found a way to get my
Toto toilet to hit the ceiling with the water.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
You showed them. My son mic is obsessed with Toto toilets.
He really wanted to see how the bet was very
sweet and showed him.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
And then since then they tried they try and put
a maya on the toilet and her tiny heinie is
falling through. So then they get the idea. Mike and
Maddix get the idea if they hold her swearing baby streets.
She didn't go sondspots, but they're trying to hold her
by one cheek and the other cheek to lower her
onto the toilet so she can experience a Toto toilet.

(01:24):
I'm like, guys, you're supposed to be going the bathroom
in the toilet. It's not just It's not a slip
and slide wet ride at Knots or whatever Solk City.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
Now, then I did clean that as much as I
could say that.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
It's like a water damage drunk at my house. Now, God,
Johnny missed out on a party.

Speaker 5 (01:42):
But I know it sounds like it was so much fun.
You guys, you got wet too. The water didn't get wet.
Let me tell you, a river is very much like
a Toto toilet that can take you out wet.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
John went a whitewater rafting over the weekend.

Speaker 5 (01:53):
Yeah, I've never done that before in my life. I
was very nervous, very scared.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
Yeah, pictures look great though.

Speaker 5 (01:58):
Yeah, it wasn't as crazy I thought it was gonna be.
But I mean still definitely an experience. I was definitely
scared at times.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Wow. All right, it's Monday, starting up a brand new week.
This is Valence Saurday morning. If you guys want to
reach out and be part of our show today, we'd
love to have you on board. Three one O four

Big week in front of us la USD. A lot
of graduations this week with LAOSD. Congrats those kids ahead
of time. And always reach out on the text line

(02:24):
or on the iHeartRadio app and let us know if
we need to congratulate one of your kids or somebody
that you are related to or something. One O four
to three ma FM one O four to three, My fam,
It's Valence Other morning, Chelsea.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
Good morning, Hi, good morning.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
How are you doing, Chelsea?

Speaker 3 (02:40):
I'm good?

Speaker 6 (02:41):
How are you guys?

Speaker 1 (02:42):
Do it all right? Welcome to a brand new week.
What's on tap for you this week? What do you
see on your horizon?

Speaker 7 (02:47):
I'm home with my kids and you might do some
family activities because they're on summer break.

Speaker 8 (02:52):
Now schools, Elbles, Yes, party.

Speaker 6 (02:58):
Time is it?

Speaker 1 (02:59):
Are you excited about?

Speaker 6 (03:00):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (03:00):
I'm very excited. Well, It's kind of funny because my
kids are like part homeschooled, part at a charter school,
so I am home with them half the week anyways,
but now it's going to be like all week.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Got it. Are you doing the homeschooling?

Speaker 7 (03:10):
Yeah, I'm their homeschool teacher.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Yeah. Wow.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
And do you feel like you have the learned capacity
to be their instructor through this academia?

Speaker 9 (03:18):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (03:18):
I was a teacher for like eight years and I
have my master's degree and I stop still so I
feel confident. But at the same time, I'm like, wait,
I might still fail them, you know, like it's my
own children's education.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
Yeah, it's weird. I have often thought like if we
had tried something like that, and I just I realized
that I didn't have it. I don't have the talent
that you have or the wherewithal to be a homeschooler.

Speaker 6 (03:37):
I try.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
No, you're doing great, good for you, thank you. Yeah
that's a big thing. No. Aha, do you be sorry?

Speaker 4 (03:45):
Do you have activities planned with the kids now that
you're going to have all these long days?

Speaker 7 (03:50):
Well, that's my wonder is I don't really know what
to do, Like I want them to keep learning a
little bit throughout the summer, you know, but they hate that,
you know. Yeah, they're not gonna let me. But that's
what I was wondering. If we can like ask other
listeners too, like what should we do with our kids
during the summer. People want a good routine, you know,

(04:11):
Like I've heard of people doing like water Wednesdays where
they do something with water, or like think Thursdays and
they go to the library or something.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
Okay, yeah, good topic to put on the air. Yes,
Valentine in the morning daycare. No, that's not learning, that's
just daycare. Yeah, like people just dropped their kids off
at the studios and what that what the moms really
want though, some time away from their kids. So Chelsea
want him to LUNs. She made it very clear, Okay,
we'll teach them some stuff.

Speaker 6 (04:35):
What are you going to teach them?

Speaker 5 (04:36):
Yeah, how to make fart noises.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
That's one time I walked into my son's room and
somehow they had pulled up John Kamuci on FaceTime and
he was teaching them how to do like an armpit fart.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
So they've never mastered that. Honestly, I've gotten that a
few times over the years. But as you age and
your arm fat changes, so do the sounds.

Speaker 5 (04:57):
It's literally FaceTime out of nowhere. And was trying and
I was like, okay, there's a talent to this.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
I'll teach you. And I have to teach time alright,
So now there's something to that. Maybe it's like a
boy school unless you want on this, because I want
to be like a daddy daycare, right, daddy diacre, but
equal doll Jenners because I am a bit of a
pro at the towel snap. Oh okay, my son does
not mess with me. He's eighteen now he can snap.
He's get strengthen everything. But I towel snap like a king,

(05:23):
and I've got a trick to it. The trick is
you get the end that you're snapping a little bit
wetter than the rest of the towel dangerous, dip it
in a bit of water or something like that. You
hydrate the end of your tip and then bam.

Speaker 5 (05:36):
I think this is perfect for summer. You want your
kids to learn. It doesn't have to be like curriculum
that you'd learn in school. And learn special talents from
each person in Valentine in the morning.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
Okay, what do you think, Chelse, you want to drop
the kids off here?

Speaker 7 (05:47):
Yeah, my eight year old son would love all of that.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
Yeah, I don't see any problems. Now listen, we're gonna
have you signed some paperwork and don't worry, it's gonna
look like a Gutenberg Bible.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
But gonna want to protect themselves sounds good.

Speaker 7 (06:00):
And also I was wondering too, like how do moms
and parents like stay sane, Like we're going to be
home with our kids all week, like I mean all summer,
like I want to have like sanity, Like I don't
know if my kids are able to like just be
chill and quiet while mommy reaves or something like if
there's any other ideas out there?

Speaker 1 (06:17):
Like yeah, no, I know, I know. That was actually
a very good segue back to normalcy. Will you use
some of those topics on the air and just listen
in when we get some moms and dads calling in? Okay, yeah,
I will.

Speaker 7 (06:27):
I need ideas too, for sure.

Speaker 1 (06:28):
All right, appreciate Chelsea. We'll talk to someone get them
when we start the topic.

Speaker 7 (06:32):
Thank you, Yeah, for sure, I'm here.

Speaker 3 (06:34):
Okay, bye, thank you bye.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
So we'll do that like after seven or something this
week it's a good idea for the homeschool parents and stuff.
You want your kids to keep learning. I mean, all
parents want their kids to keep learning. But there is
something enjoyable to the summer, to have fun before you
get into the rat race. My kid's eighteen off to college,
you know, and then he'll be getting jobs and internships
and things, and you know, it all goes by so fast.
So why not have some moments where you're just creating memories? Yeah, John,

(07:03):
hon ssh, I'm serious about the daycare. It's Valence out of.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
The morning four three.

Speaker 10 (07:10):
Maya listen anywhere with the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
One O four to three. My fab its balanced in
the morning. Hi, Yolanda, Well, good morning. What's up, Yolanda?

Speaker 6 (07:24):
Well, I am on a cruise but still over here
on the way to a glacier.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
What you're on a cruise and you're still listening to
us on the cruise?

Speaker 8 (07:33):
I am, Wow?

Speaker 1 (07:34):
And you're gonna see a glacier where you aut Alaska?

Speaker 11 (07:37):
We're in Alaska, Yes, in the bay, and we're on
our way to Glacier Bay National Park.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
Oh that's so cool. Good for you, Like a Disney cruise,
I assume or princess. Oh gotcha, Okay, very cool.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
Yeah, the love boat?

Speaker 1 (07:51):
Oh hello, oh now are you finding love on the
love boat? Hold on? Hold on?

Speaker 4 (08:01):
An Alaskan cruise is on my bucket list because I've
just heard such amazing things about how breath taking it is.

Speaker 6 (08:08):
It is gorgeous.

Speaker 1 (08:10):
Yeah. We did one years ago with Colin when he
was younger, when a Disney cruise went to Alaska. Just
loved it and it was even like a We got
off in some little town I forget the name of
the town, and there's like a teeny little radio station
and I was like, oh, I could work here because
it was just so cool, just this little Alaskan town
by the shore, you know, see you yeah right, yeah,
well you were coming with Okay, John, I will be staying.

Speaker 6 (08:34):
We're going to be getting off and catch a can
and juno.

Speaker 1 (08:36):
But that's what it was, catch a can so far, so.

Speaker 11 (08:39):
Far we haven't really seen just seen glaciers.

Speaker 6 (08:41):
So it's just ice.

Speaker 1 (08:42):
And you can do the same thing. Just put your
head in the freezer. It looks the same.

Speaker 4 (08:46):
Look out for a man named corn Dog when you're there.

Speaker 12 (08:50):
What.

Speaker 4 (08:51):
Yeah, my friends just went on an Alaskan cruise. And
there was one of the guides in a Kazakhstan or
what did you say?

Speaker 13 (08:58):
Okay, that's but they did a tour of like some
some brewery or something, and there was a man named
corn Dog who.

Speaker 4 (09:10):
Gave them like this great tour. They had the best days.
If you ever run into a corn Dog, just know
he knows the stuff.

Speaker 2 (09:16):
Okay, okay, we'll do.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
Yes. Consider when you're walking down the street, just keep
yelling out corn Dog and see what pops up. Listen,
have a great time. Tell your mom we said hello.

Speaker 6 (09:27):
Okay, okay, I will.

Speaker 1 (09:28):
We appreciate you and give us some pictures when you
give back copies in summer, tag us.

Speaker 7 (09:33):
I will, I will tag.

Speaker 1 (09:35):
You all right, Thanks left, take care, bye bye.

Speaker 3 (09:37):
One O four to three. My sm entertainment headlines at the.

Speaker 4 (09:41):
Box Oh my goodness, excuse me. At the box office
this weekend, Scary Movie came in at number one, making
fifty five million dollars, which is a franchise best for
the scary movie films. Masters of the Universe came in
at number two, making twenty nine point three million, and
then back Rooms came in at number three. And you

(10:02):
may have seen this headline over the Weekend. TMZ is
claiming that they have an anonymous source that has confirmed
that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey's wedding ceremony will take
place in New York, specifically Manhattan, and the rumor is
they're gonna get married at Madison Square Garden. Now, I
pretend in my mind that I am friends with Taylor Swift,
but I do not know her personally. But when I

(10:22):
saw this headline, I thought, Okay, someone threw this out
There is this tree her publicist slash friend who gets
ahead of these rumors? Is she putting this out there
as a little bit of a decoy as to where
they really are getting married. I don't see them getting
married at Madison Square Garden, which is what the rumor is.
But what do I know. She's just my best friend
in my mind. I'm Jill with ERRENTYMN headlines on Valentine

(10:44):
in the Morning.

Speaker 1 (10:52):
One of four three my family. It is Valentine in the Morning,
just past six o'clock Monday morning. Let's go brand new
week here we are. June is moving, man, Yeah, June
is moving.

Speaker 4 (11:01):
We're into it, moving and grooving.

Speaker 1 (11:03):
Yeah, when's your vacation?

Speaker 4 (11:06):
The last week of July and yours.

Speaker 5 (11:07):
The same week, right, mine is the week before. Oh,
I thought you're gonna lock her at the same time.
Now you can come down to you tell me. You
tell me brother.

Speaker 1 (11:14):
No, but I thought you're already got aproved. I don't
want to mess with your schedule. I haven't booked it.
I was getting a book it literally after I talk
to you about it. I don't know. Just do what
you want to do. You know, it's your vacations. Enjoy yourselves.

Speaker 4 (11:23):
Are you taking a vacation.

Speaker 1 (11:24):
No, I'll be working throughout the entire take any time. No,
I can't. The ratings are soft. We got to get
them back up, and somebody has to really care about
the show.

Speaker 4 (11:33):
We really care about the show. But also it's good
for the show to take a break.

Speaker 1 (11:37):
I don't know what if the show is better after
we're refreshed. Yeah, it's a mental ress. You guys might
be better. I don't need that because's working at a
different level than the two. That's toxic work environment right there,
to cut yourself refresh No, I don't know. It's like
I have to. It's like keep saying, I have to
check with the wife. John, I apologize for that, but
it's like, we have so much going on, we haven't

(11:59):
had to family sit down whatever. And his plans change
because he's trying to do a senior trip with his
boys and they were trying to go somewhere now they're not.
I don't know what's going on. I got my mom
in memory care, you know. So it's just it's not
hard time. Yeah, it's not stop. Yeah, it is a
little bit hard to plan. So I don't want to
stand in the way of your vacations. Whatever works for you, guys,
works for you within reason. I'm starting today. Do you

(12:24):
have something you want to tell me?

Speaker 2 (12:25):
Well, I was going to talk to you about it privately.

Speaker 5 (12:27):
Oh this doesn't sound good, but you know, so maybe
we could like go grab a coffee and.

Speaker 1 (12:33):
What day do you want?

Speaker 2 (12:35):
This is from my wife. The first week of August.

Speaker 1 (12:38):

Speaker 2 (12:40):

Speaker 1 (12:42):

Speaker 1 (12:53):
No, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute.
Why don't you go the week of the seventeenth. I'll
be in Texas wait, you're taking a break. No, I'll
have to drop him off of Texas at college, so
I'll probably have to go for a little bit.

Speaker 4 (13:03):
August seventeenth, I think, so okay.

Speaker 1 (13:05):
It's it's my mom's birthday, though, so I may not
go that day. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (13:08):
Maybe a few days in July for a little wedding
in New Orleans. Just a couple what you're of July,
like July sixteenth?

Speaker 1 (13:16):
July sixteenth, a few days. Wait, you're off the week
of the twentieth, he's off the week of the twenty seventh.
You're trying to take the sixteenth. Does anybody working in July? Laura?
When are you all?

Speaker 8 (13:27):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (13:28):
She's here, got it? You and Laura are going.

Speaker 1 (13:33):
We are going to destroy Laura and I.

Speaker 3 (13:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (13:35):

Speaker 9 (17:13):

Speaker 11 (17:14):
Actually I work in special education for Garden Grove Unified,
and I'm an intensive behavioral aid for uh MOD to
severe children.

Speaker 1 (17:24):

We'll start with you, Amy, We asked Valentine in the morning, listeners,
name something a spouse might hide from their partner. Name
something a spouse might hide from their partner. Top five
answers on the board. You get forty five seconds and
three strikes. Name something a spouse might hide from their partner.
What do you think they'd hide?

Speaker 4 (18:41):
Debt?

Speaker 1 (18:42):
Debt, Yeah, money purchases, debt, Yeah, that's number one. What
else hiding from a partner? You don't want them to
find out? Food?

Speaker 2 (18:56):
Food?

Sneeze or cough. Yeah, Brian doesn't struggle do that quietly.
He lets that thing Jackson sneeze. Oh my god, it's

party at my house.

Speaker 4 (23:49):
Yeah so fun.

Speaker 1 (23:50):
Oh the presh pressure on that thing and the bill
bills and that thing. They have a kids in Mexico,
you know, and the dogs are the kennel And it
was last night was like nine o'clock at night. We
finished dinner. We ate late again. Last sec said, visited
my mom at the memory care center, and my wife
is sitting there. So the dogs aren't there. They're at
the kennel till today, right, okay, and Collins out of town,
just two of us and all the families gone home,

(24:10):
and I go, all right, we watched a Hallmark show.
I'm going to go to bed. She going to bed.
Go to the bed now, like, yeah, I gotta get
up tomorrow. Oh sorry, it's just you, and she leans
back in the chair stretches out. I'm so depressed. Oh
that's sweet though. I went to bed the God, you're fine.

(24:35):
She wanted to snuggle with you, she did not. She
did not. She wanted to watch another show on TV.

Speaker 4 (24:40):
That's what she wanted to do, which is so hard
with our hours.

Speaker 1 (24:42):
Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 4 (24:44):
If Jeff's working late one day, I'd love to be
able to stay up and wait till like stay hello.
You know seven seen them all day?

Speaker 1 (24:50):
Have to love shows that they can watch without us. Yeah,
and she's got plenty of those. But we were watching
The Way Home and Hallmark or whatever it was that
one way they jump in the pond and go back
in time.

Speaker 4 (24:57):
Oh yeah, you love that show.

Speaker 1 (24:59):
I love to go back and TI, I want to
get out of here. You give me away home or
an outlander or something like that, like, dude, I'm your guy.
Get the hands against the stones. I'm like, we out John,
you survived the water rafting though, my gosh.

Speaker 12 (25:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (25:11):
We were on the the American River.

Speaker 5 (25:13):
It was just outside Sacramento, and there were class three,
which I've learned they go up to class five. Yeah,
and class three is the first time you start feeling
some like real adrenaline, Like if I get out of here,
like you slam against the rock and it would be
you know, all right, but anything bigger and that's when
it's like, oh, you can get some serious injuries.

Speaker 1 (25:29):
Yeah, I mean technically you could for all of them. Sure.

Speaker 2 (25:31):
Ye.

Speaker 5 (25:32):
Our tour guide was so funny. We sat down with
this guy right right now. It's the easy part of
the river.

Speaker 1 (25:36):
We're all just like hanging out. It's a lazy totally.
It's a lazy river at first.

Speaker 5 (25:40):
Now, two of the people I were with are marine biologists,
so they just love all kinds of animals. And then
we're talking to each other about the birds and they're like, oh,
what bird do you think that is? And our guide goes,
I'm a member of the Audubon Society. Mo, man, you
guys are speaking my language.

Speaker 1 (25:55):
And then three hours of that ride was bird talk
because I'm remember of the Automa Society too. Yeah, right there,
it was so much pass three. Though, you don't have
to know how to swim. Everyone's wearing a lifevest, right,
everyone's wearing a life Class four. You have to know
how to swim. I think, Oh interesting, I think so
you have to be able to swim yourself too, not

(26:16):
just oh I can swim like you got to be
able to swim. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (26:18):
Some of the rapids we did, they had sheriffs there too,
because they're watching to make sure that the guides know
what they're doing. And if some guides don't take the
appropriate line, they'll report you back to the company and
make sure that you do because it's so inangerous.

Speaker 1 (26:29):
Yeah, you have to public with you. Yeah. Yeah. There
are some friends of ours that we're talking about it
this weekend want to do some rapid stuff too, whitewater rafting,
and they were saying, let's do some class fours. I'm like, eh, God, no,
it's nothing, dude, don't worry about it. I think one
of them goes. The guy explained it to me, like,
you know, like when you're in your hot tub and
you turn on the blower jets like that.

Speaker 4 (26:49):
What it is.

Speaker 1 (26:51):
Because I can stand up and get out of my
hot I know that that's happening with me on this
thing that's going down this river and the rocks and
boulders and stuff you're in for the right those days. Yeah,
and I've done it before, and I might have done
a class four before. It's much younger, but I remember
doing one off to check it was a class three
or four columns in the boat thus and they got
it like strapped down and everything. Yeah, and I'm holding
on the hand and I'm doing an order the other hand.

(27:13):
It was terrifying. See, if you know what you're doing,
you can do a three or a four. Yeah, fives
for the professionals.

Speaker 8 (27:19):
I don't do.

Speaker 1 (27:19):
People really do the fives, not that I know of. Right, So,
some of these guys have like adrenaline problems, you know. Yeah,
I'm not that guy. Neither to the assent anybody in
the room an adrenaline person, adrenaline junkie, No, No, not
so much. Hot tub I don't even turn on those blowers.
I just go up the normal spa, but a lot
of hot tubs will have like the extra blowers or something.

(27:41):
I don't need that.

Speaker 10 (27:41):
One four to three my FM, here's what's coming up

my dad said or was accurate or was written at accurately.
Then Sharon said, technology moves on. I'm not asking for
you to come. I don't want your bleeping money. I

their family.

I don't know why the Wayne's family and I are related,
but this need to be ignoring me. I thought I'd
be in Scary Movie six. Once Marlin and I reconnected,

of four three MIFM yesterday afternoon in a powerful seven
point eight magnitude earthquake hit in the Philippines. Quake destroyed
several buildings, knocked out power, and send people rushing into
the streets. Several strong aftershrucks followed, holding including one I
guess six to five magnitude. They're still looking for some

(34:31):
people they think might be beneath the rubble. I know

this area. Sou of the California. I pray and hope

It's a collab with Robert Smith of The Cure. It's
called What's wrong with Me Doctor?

Speaker 14 (35:22):
She says, fun meditation, Somebody much Chest, which is kind
of a big deal because she's never released a collab
of her own before, so her very first one is going.

Speaker 1 (35:42):
To be with Robert Smith of The Cure. How she
finds him. She's been a fan for a very last
because it's not her generation at all, No, but she's
been such a fan of their music and they perform together.

Speaker 5 (35:50):
I believe it was Glastonbury, so she brought him in
for her album. So we'll get to hear more of
that on Friday. I'm John Camuci. That's what's training in music.

Speaker 1 (36:00):
John Peak met Taylor Swift. The story coming one of
four to three min famous fallen in the morning. Taylor
Swift fans, Wow, John Peak, come to the mic. Wait
till you hear this story. John Peak, our boss, was

(36:24):
in New York recently. John Peak and several other iHeart
executives went to New York to hear the new Taylor
Swift song, which we all love.

Speaker 2 (36:30):
Now.

Speaker 1 (36:31):
John just casually dropped that he went to Taylor's home
where she lays ahead to rest upon her pillow when
the evening falls. He went to her house to hear
the new Taylor Swift song. He hung with Taylor Swift. Now,
the next phrase you're gonna hear is clear as we

(36:52):
give Jill electric shocks to bring her heart back online show.

Speaker 4 (36:56):
Because John Peak trusts me with secret. It's I knew
about that. I knew, I knew he was going in advance.

Speaker 1 (37:06):
Did your face time in from the house?

Speaker 4 (37:07):
Nocare I got the full run down when he got back,
got to hear all about it.

Speaker 1 (37:13):
Did Taylor Swift speak with you? Yes? Did you her? First?

Speaker 2 (37:18):
Off?

Speaker 15 (37:18):
She told us how she created the song and wrote
the song with Jack anton Off right from fun and
they created the song in about twenty four hours total.
After seeing the scene in the movie where her song replaced,
she got inspired. She got Jack anton Off on FaceTime
and they created this the song, which is really good.

Speaker 1 (37:37):
Did she get a picture with Taylor Swift?

Speaker 15 (37:38):
So they our phones were left downstairs, okay? And then
after she played the song, and then she played the
scene in Toy Story, So I've seen the scene where
this song appears. Yeah, and I got to pet that cat?
You know that, oh Benjamin, I don't know which one,
the squishy face catch Benjamin.

Speaker 1 (37:58):
Headed Taylor's cat?

Speaker 4 (38:00):
I did, yep, this is incredible.

Speaker 1 (38:04):
And then did you Taylor, hold on before you say
anything else, because I'm just so sugny. Pet Tailor kiddy,
can you pet Jill for a second, just so she
can had the transference of Petty Tailor's cat.

Speaker 15 (38:14):
I don't think I can pick up Jill the way
I picked up the cat.

Speaker 1 (38:18):
Cat Cat you held Taylor swiss cat.

Speaker 15 (38:25):
I was just walking around.

Speaker 1 (38:28):
Taylor's cat picks up Taylor swiss cat. I did, Oh
my god, what else can you like? What did it
smell like?

Speaker 15 (38:37):
If the tailor has great taste in foods, you had
a complete spread something? Oh my god, I locked dollar
her cat coffee mugs were off set up so you
could choose the cat coffee cat.

Speaker 1 (38:48):
Yeah, did you use Taylor's body? I did not.

Speaker 15 (38:54):
I take that back. I did you did all the
way out on the way out of.

Speaker 1 (38:57):
You you you sat down in the throne where Taylor sits. Well,
I don't think she would use Probably the guest one.
You know, we don't know dto, but he's wandering around
picking up cats. I was in the guest I was
in the guest Was it a total or ordinary seat?

Speaker 15 (39:11):
I think it was ordinary? Sea It deal is all
such a blur. She didn't have it, And so Taylor
told us the whole story. She did the entire sort
of presentation about the song, and then we left our
phones downstairs. So she said, hey, we've hired a photographer
if you want to get a photo, and by the way,
if you want a fun photo, I've got some Grammy awards.

(39:32):
Pick up one of those, or the Super Bowl trophies here,
picked that up.

Speaker 1 (39:36):
If you want to shut your face, shut your face.
I am blown away. There's super Bowl trophies and Grammys
and you can pick it up and hold it. In
a photo of Taylor Swift.

Speaker 15 (39:46):
I of course picked up Grammy and I told Taylor
this is really heavy. Out of hope, I don't drop
and she goes, oh, I've dropped a ton of them.
They always break, So I didn't drop a thing.

Speaker 1 (39:55):
I've got so many. Don't worry. Oh my god, you
didn't pick up a super Bowl trophy? Was trap?

Speaker 15 (40:00):
Travis was not there.

Speaker 1 (40:01):
You could have taken a Super Bowl tripa with you.
No stopped me? Oh my god, I don't think nobody
stopped you there. Like, who's the first person you tell
about that experience it buddy, It wasn't his friend Val
and John and Brian and Laura. I've been walking around
the world with that.

Speaker 4 (40:18):
I've heard about I've heard about this about Taylor before
that when she's talking to you, it was like you
were the only person in the room. And John like
clarified that that, Yeah, that's true.

Speaker 1 (40:30):
She was locked in on you. Yeah, did you mention
any of our names.

Speaker 15 (40:34):
Oh yeah, she said, Oh wow, how is he doing?

Speaker 2 (40:36):
I love that guy.

Speaker 15 (40:38):
He's so well dressed.

Speaker 1 (40:42):
You could have like got her in the studio. I've
never interviewed Tall Swift. Like back in the day, I
was one of the early adopters on Taylor and I
emailed directly the guy whose name we no longer speak of,
and said, Hey, this girl's gonna be huge. I'd love
to get her on the show. And that guy goes,
oh yeah, we'll try and work it out, and then
it never happened over the years, you know.

Speaker 15 (41:00):
Sorry to hear that, but I had a good conversation.

Speaker 1 (41:05):
So it's amazing that will live rent free in my head.
Sorry to hear that, but I had a good conversation
with her. All right, let's take a little break. We'll
come back. John Peak will tell us more details about
his time inside Taylor Swift's house. Speaking of Taylor Swift
text Valentine in the morning at three one four three.
All right, first, before we get back to John weather today,

(41:27):
if you want a cloud sunny this afternoon seventy to
mid eighties sixty two to worthday sixty five, Steel Beach
Jill's got the entertainment headlines. I mean these are them,
but she has additional headlines coming out.

Speaker 4 (41:37):
The Stanley Pup is airing tonight. I'll tell you all
about it coming up at seven fifty.

Speaker 1 (41:43):
Okay, back to your sit down, John Peak with Taylor Swift.

Speaker 15 (41:47):
It's great to hear from the songwriter herself, how music
is created, how she collaborated with Jack Antonff, how they
emailed music back and forth. She said that she went
and met with Pixar and it was Bob Iger's last week.
Oh my god, so you know this story was his project. Yeah,
so he brought her in and said, here's the scene

(42:10):
and here's a rough of the movie. And her job
was to create a song.

Speaker 1 (42:14):
How exciting.

Speaker 15 (42:14):
And she got inspired that night and rented a studio
and got a hold of Jack Antonof and went back
the next day to Bob Iger to play him the
song that was, you know, not in its final form,
but close. And she said that bob Iger asked, what
are you doing here and she said her to play
music and he's like, what do you have a new album?

Speaker 1 (42:32):
She's like, no, I have the song.

Speaker 15 (42:34):
Wow, it's twenty four hours. How could that be and
she She and Jack created this song and just after
being inspired and watching the film, Wow, really pretty cool.

Speaker 1 (42:46):
What have you done after listen to one of our shows?

Speaker 15 (42:50):
Really inspired and go?

Speaker 1 (42:52):
Did you inspire? This has got to be one of
John pinks better appearances on the show.

Speaker 2 (42:59):
Right.

Speaker 1 (43:00):
Unbelievable, dude, it was blown away. You had this experience.
Very happy for you. You're very deservative, but you're a
big tailor for yourself. Did you take anything from the apartment?

Speaker 15 (43:08):
I did not, He did not, But it was interesting
to walk around the apartment and see the photos she
and Olivia Rodrigo, she and her friends. You get to
see all her per personal You get experience.

Speaker 1 (43:18):
How proud of you for not doing that, because there
are some people I know in this room that if
there would look for a memento or a lock of
hair or something.

Speaker 4 (43:23):
Sorry, breaking news a photo with Olivia Rodrigo in her apartment?

Speaker 2 (43:27):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (43:27):
Wow, Okay, what does that mean?

Speaker 4 (43:30):
Was it mean there's no beef? There's no beef?

Speaker 9 (43:33):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (43:33):
I didn't know there was a I'm sorry, yes, I
missed the beef.

Speaker 4 (43:38):
Okay. Wow.

Speaker 5 (43:40):
I feel like there's so many more details that we
just like don't know to ask about and he just
like doesn't know as a deal to tell us.

Speaker 1 (43:45):
Yeah, he doesn't know yet. I mean he's got so
much locked in the little brand it because he hasn't
got it all out. He's the experience.

Speaker 15 (43:49):
It was wonderful. Did you need to hear firsthand? Yeah, Taylor,
the whole story.

Speaker 1 (43:54):
Did you open her fridge or anything?

Speaker 2 (43:55):
Did you?

Speaker 1 (43:56):
Is there anything else you can tell us like that?

Speaker 2 (43:57):
No?

Speaker 15 (43:58):
I ate couple of the macaroons that she had.

Speaker 1 (44:05):
So good? How big, big place?

Speaker 15 (44:08):
Beautiful right, beautiful, beautiful, lovely, very welcoming. You know when
you walk in, there's not like there's not a staff.
It's tatters meeting you.

Speaker 1 (44:18):
When you walk.

Speaker 8 (44:19):
Wow?

Speaker 1 (44:20):
Did you ding a doorbell?

Speaker 15 (44:22):
We know, we didn't think.

Speaker 2 (44:23):
Was there?

Speaker 15 (44:23):
Knockers the New York They were waiting at the doorway
winning the elevator? Okay, stairs?

Speaker 1 (44:28):
How many people? Like just iHeart execs or something.

Speaker 15 (44:30):
About twenty people?

Speaker 1 (44:31):
Totally?

Speaker 2 (44:32):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (44:33):
Wow?

Speaker 15 (44:34):
And by the way, twenty people and room enough for
everyone to sit?

Speaker 2 (44:37):
Wow?

Speaker 13 (44:39):
Was there?

Speaker 1 (44:39):
I like, do we know other people? Or from La?
Was it like you from La?

Speaker 2 (44:43):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (44:43):
That's it? Holy cow, jump jumpy, Yeah, I know a
couple of ye, no.

Speaker 15 (44:52):
Idea good to hear or good to visit with Taylor. No,
she's still really connected and is Yeah.

Speaker 1 (44:59):
First thing though, and Taylor, Taylor, I'm still colored Miss
Swift right now she walks in, Miss Swift howl? Are
you nice to see you? Did Beata get all upset
about this? She was there? I think you said you
were the only person I was thinking.

Speaker 15 (45:12):
Of that that she was there.

Speaker 1 (45:13):
You forgot. Yeah, you're oblivious because it was just you
and Taylor in your mind. Correct, just locked in. Wow, bro,
that's huge. Yep.

Speaker 15 (45:21):
And Jill is correct as when she speaks to you,
she looks at you. You're the only person there when
you're having that conversation, and as long as you're conversing
and bringing up topics.

Speaker 1 (45:32):
She'll talk to you. Do you feel like being in
Taylor's presence like that? And very serious question, do you
feel now as programmer, as a very higher up senior
VP here with thy heart that you can take from
that lesson of being locked in on people, because there
have been allegations that when people are in your office
talking to you, you're also ordering nuts online and different
things and not as locked in as maybe Taylor would be.

Speaker 15 (45:55):
Well, I think Taylor on these days, locked in as
long as you're engaged, and I'm not going on track.

Speaker 1 (46:00):
Or what the persons interesting. Okay, so maybe this is
my experience with you. Maybe you're locked in on them,
but I get the guy ordering nuts on the internet
when I'm talking to John. Good stuff, buddy. I'm glad
you popped in. Man, congrats on that. When are we
going to see your picture?

Speaker 15 (46:19):
I'm waiting for it to come back.

Speaker 1 (46:21):
How exciting?

Speaker 15 (46:22):
Yeah, he was like pretty good about turning around quickly.
So I hope to see it soon and you'll see
me holding the grammy and wow, I'm going to frame
it in my house.

Speaker 4 (46:36):
You do the days of the plates of the summer.

Speaker 1 (46:41):
I don't know it, Taylor Swift. I knew it. I
knew you. Wow, you've been holding this secret that John
Peake told you that he was going to Taylor Swift's house.

Speaker 4 (46:52):
I knew about a week before he left.

Speaker 1 (46:54):
Is this the apartment that she like she got three
of them and knocked down the walls and put them
together maybe or something like that.

Speaker 4 (46:59):
Oh, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (47:00):
Yeah, Oh, I think you do know. I think you
probably know more than you're saying now.

Speaker 4 (47:05):
All I know is that I see there's like a
it looks like a firehouse wall that a lot of
people take pictures in.

Speaker 1 (47:10):
Front of that.

Speaker 4 (47:11):
It's her apartment, okay in New York. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (47:15):
Wow. Yeah, the trust factor is you now it's shot well.

Speaker 4 (47:18):
And John Peak tells me like I am sworn a
secrecy and it has to do with Taylor Swift. Just no,
I will not. I won't say a thing. No, if
he wasn't telling me something else, Yeah, of course, wouldn't
tell you, ye talk.

Speaker 1 (47:27):
Yeah, okay, gotchah, Taylor, I get it your big tailor fan.

Speaker 4 (47:30):
Well, because in my mind I'm gonna be friends with
her one day. And Benjam I don't yeah, And Olivia,
I just don't. I don't want to.

Speaker 1 (47:37):
Is that another cat or Olivia Rodriguez.

Speaker 4 (47:39):
No, Olivia the cat? And then Meredith or her three
cats Benjamin, Meredith and Olivia.

Speaker 1 (47:43):
Right, and then did you know that John? Of course no,
I knew Meredith. That's the only one I know.

Speaker 4 (47:50):
You were going to be friends one day, So I
don't want to betray her trust this earlier gotcha?

Speaker 1 (47:54):
Yeah, No, I got you? Okay, Wow, John Peak, our boss,
Taylor Swift's apartment amazing, Taylor Swift's potty before he left.
At first, he didn't think he used it, and he goes, oh, wait,
I did use it before I left. Taylor Swift's bathroom.
I'm sure at some point. Then he goes, it was
a guest bathroom. But I'm sure at some point somebody
else like Travis's I don't know, and the other one

(48:17):
I could have had a bad day. It's like, oh,
I'm not using that one. I'm going in the guest one.
And she probably sat or touched down upon that that
John Peak has touched touched with Taylor.

Speaker 2 (48:25):
Swift hung up on this bathroom.

Speaker 1 (48:30):
Your kids are into that stuff too. Don't make me
talk about the weekend recap photos, Lauris, but I think
you should.

Speaker 4 (48:37):
You need to talk about it.

Speaker 1 (48:38):
I had. Well, I'll tell you We'll do this break
come back, and then I'll tell you what Brian's kids
made me do over the weekend.

Speaker 3 (48:45):
One O four to three my FM. Here's what's coming
up in entertainment headlines.

Speaker 4 (48:51):
A new animated series just had its debut without any
warning and completely surprised fans. I'll tell you what show
right after Traffic one four to three my FM Entertainment
headlines The NHL's Stanley pupp Is Tonight. It'll premiere six
thirty Our Time on True TV and HBO Max, and

(49:12):
the annual competition features adoptable rescue dogs representing all thirty
two NHL teams and the celebrities appearing include Keenan Thompson,
Flavor Flave, Anthony Anderson, Ryan Adams, Joel McHale, and Michael Strahan.
And we haven't heard any updates since it was first
announced in twenty twenty four and then without any warning
or release date. The animated among Us series has debuted

(49:36):
on Paramount Plus. All ten episodes are now available to stream.
The online gang among Us became a global sensation during
the pandemic. They have five hundred million monthly users where
you try to complete tasks around the map and figure
out who the impostors are. Well now the animated series
is available to watch on Paramount Plus. I'm Jill with

(49:56):
eron timid headlines.

Speaker 1 (49:57):
Oh my Goosh response for John Peaksman and Sane. Everybody
loved it. People love John Peak's appearance or Boston the
show talking about meeting Taylor Swift in New York at
her house. Somebody wrote love John Peak's voice first time
hearing him on the air. Monster situation we've created. Now
do you know what happened with John? It's amazing with

(50:18):
John Peak popping in too. It's like John Peak goes
moo things along, move things along when it's him park it. Yeah, please, no,
one need to move things along? Right, This is what happened.
Over the weekend. We had a grad party at my
house for my son. Had a really good time. My
wife went all out. It's just it was lovely, lovely
party and stuff. And Brian and his family were able
to make it. Very happy to see them there because

(50:39):
it was a bit of a drive, so thank you
for that. Oh my god, it was a blast. And
Jill and her family a huge drive for her. Great
to see you here.

Speaker 4 (50:44):
Fine.

Speaker 1 (50:44):
John couldn't make it, Lorc couldn't make it, unfortunately, but
for those that made it, we really enjoyed him. So
Brian's kids Micah comes up to me and goes hey, like,
first off, what are you like an Italian monster? What's
going on? Mikey goes hey, can I see the toilet?

Speaker 8 (51:02):
Hey?

Speaker 1 (51:02):
What are you talking about? Goes the toilet? I go
the Toto toilet. He goes, yeah, can I see it?
I go, I guess it's upstairs. I take you up there,
and I goes, okay, let's go. I go, well, the
hold one, get your dad. I'm not just I'm walking
upstairs with a young boy, you know what I mean.
So go get your dad. We'll go see the Toto toilet.

(51:23):
So we go upstairs and we take a picture next
to the Toto toilet.

Speaker 4 (51:28):
Remember you want to remember Mike is.

Speaker 1 (51:29):
Blown away by this Toto toilet. Brian's blown away by
a total toilet. It's a miday if you don't know
what that is. And so it shoots water on your
tush after you go potty, and so we take picture
and everything, and then uh, you know, we come back downstairs.
Then words starts getting out. Then Jill comes to me
and goes, hey, Jeff really wants to see the total toilet.

Speaker 4 (51:49):
Yeah, Michael was bragging about seeing the Toto. So Jeff
was like, well, I want to see it.

Speaker 1 (51:54):
So then we gotta go upstairs to see the Toto toilet.
So again I go, all right, let's go, and I go, Jill,
you got to come with us, because just me and
Jeff going upstairs, it looks weird again. People start getting
all these weird ideas. Three of us go stairs and
we're looking at the Toto toilets. We're taking pictures. Then
Jill's family can see through the bathroom window from outside.

(52:16):
They see us all standing and what they know is
probably the bathroom and waving, and they're like, what are
you doing? The windows open. Jill goes Toto. Well, the
minute she said Toto, seventy five other people heard Toyo.
And now the tour of the Toto toilet is insane.
And I'm doing all this without my wife knowing. She
would kill me if she knows. Bringing people upstairs in
the bathroom wasn't you know, ready for people to see.

(52:37):
There's hair dryers, curling yarns, everything all over the place.
I was doing my hair and so then I'm traping
people up and I have to keep them all low,
like get low, get low. It's like nam like you're
crawling across a field or something, just to go see
this Toto toilet off.

Speaker 4 (52:51):
And then you're like tiptoeing, you know, over the stairs.

Speaker 1 (52:55):
Yeah, and then Jill wanted a picture with the tot
so we got a picture that'll all be in the
weekend recap when Laura posts. Then I'm walking out of
the primary bedroom. I think somebody in that group called
the master, and I corrected them someone.

Speaker 2 (53:08):
In Jill's family.

Speaker 1 (53:09):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, so I call the primary. So
we're walking down the primary bedroom and Jill makes some
joke to Jeff about they should have snuck up there
and done something.

Speaker 4 (53:19):
Now, I told Jeff that on Friday, you told me
you and Jeff better not do anything in my home.
And I was like, we would never do anything in
your home. And then my husband goes, that sounds like
a challenge.

Speaker 1 (53:32):
We walk now in front of you. Yeah, right in
my face, right in my face. WHOA. The last laugh
was on them, though. You know what I did. I
stole his shoes.

Speaker 3 (53:47):
Yeah he did, you stole Jeff.

Speaker 1 (53:49):
Well, it's weird. At some point, the lady who was
doing the bar card out front, she ran out of
tequila because of you. Indeed that. Yeah, so I have
to run down the pavilions and I'm like, I don't
know where my shoes are, and I saw some flip flops,
so I just put those on. He got in the car,
drove down the pavilion's like half a block down to
buy some tequila. And I get a call from Jill.

(54:11):
Have you seen Jeff's flip flops? By the way, Like,
why would she think to even ask me? There's like
seventy five people of the house. Oh, and she asked me,
And I go, oh, I think I'm wearing that. I
know you, But last I saw you, you and Jeff
were laying on my bed exactly in the primary, so
I didn't think he needed them for a few minutes.

(54:32):
Battle of Sex is coming up. It is one of

Speaker 1 (54:59):
And that's Brian's middle child right there, who's very upset
that he didn't get to go see Alban you. He
wanted to see that total toilet and his older brother
got to see it, and I told him, sorry, you
have to be ten or older to go upstairs. But
I'm almost ten. Yeah, not there yet. It's okay, Andrew,
good morning. How are you today? Good morning?

Speaker 7 (55:21):
I'm doing great.

Speaker 1 (55:22):
How about yourself?

Speaker 2 (55:23):
Do you know?

Speaker 8 (55:23):
Right? Man?

Speaker 1 (55:23):
What's your happiness? Brother?

Speaker 9 (55:25):
I don't know how I'm gonna compete with the toilet, but.

Speaker 1 (55:29):
Me and my family tomorrow we're gonna be flying out
to Hawaii for a week, or a vacation to Hawaii
for a whole week. What's the longest amount of time
you spent with your family on a vacation that the quest?

Speaker 6 (55:44):
Not a week?

Speaker 9 (55:44):
Yes, this does their first time being away from home
for that long.

Speaker 1 (55:49):
You're gonna learn a lot.

Speaker 5 (55:51):
I spent the weekend with my girlfriend's family, and I
feel like after the third day you start to see
the family dynamic really unforree.

Speaker 1 (55:57):
What did you learn that gives you pause or excites?
You learn who the instigators are.

Speaker 5 (56:01):
I learn who falls for what the instigations are right,
and then things you start unraveling a little bit.

Speaker 1 (56:07):
Franklin always said three days house guests and fish, they
start to smellest time to get him out. Yeah, I'm
kind of just you know, saying it, but he had
a much better way, but a week Andrew, good luck, man.

Speaker 9 (56:20):
Wow, I know I have a four and a seven
year old, and I know who the instigator will be
for sure.

Speaker 1 (56:24):
Well those are your kids though, right, yeah, but they
like to.

Speaker 9 (56:28):
Make sure everybody else knows they're here too.

Speaker 1 (56:30):
So okay, you're gonna have a great time. What a
fun time. Take pictures, enjoy yourself, right, Thank you so much,
all right, appreciate you. Bud bird five sugar, its eight ten.
It is Valentine in the morning. It's one of four
three mifms. So we got some June gloom out there
which should burn off later on.

Speaker 4 (56:47):
I assume, yeah, pretty much, it'll be mostly sunny, all.

Speaker 1 (56:50):
Right, coming in hot with the weather. They're jill, thank
you very much.

Speaker 4 (56:54):
And there's a couple more days of this Judent gloom
and then it is gonna get hot.

Speaker 1 (56:57):
Oh is it really?

Speaker 8 (56:59):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (56:59):
Man, a right, Jill coming in with the hot stuff
later on this hour? When did you take the blame
for somebody else's mistake? Text into three one oh four
to three.

Speaker 4 (57:06):
We put this up on social media and we got
quite a few people taking the blame. This comment said,
when my husband spilled red wine on Grandma's pristine white carpet.
He was so mortified, so I just said it was me.
Another comment said, my twin sister called another girl a
word a name. Then the girl wanted to fight, but
then she wanted to fight me by mistake. This is

(57:27):
all happening during our high school freshman year, and I
took the blame. And then another comment says, if it
was someone new starting at the place I worked, I
would always take the blame, but it then depended on
how mean they were.

Speaker 1 (57:40):
Boy, they'd take the blame for somebody else at work
who was new.

Speaker 4 (57:42):
We're new.

Speaker 1 (57:44):
That was sweet, yeah, but imagine all the new people
that mess up something. Then the owner's like, why do
I have this person? They keep messing up all the
time over here. That's weird, all right? Eight sixty six
five four four texting three one oh four to three.
It is a battle of the sex's represent The medicine

Speaker 4 (59:17):

Speaker 4 (59:25):
That's correct.

Speaker 1 (59:26):

Faa oo fossa, Peter finished the title of the Lion
King song Circle of Blink Life, Yes, the Circle of Life.

Speaker 1 (59:45):

fine hat, do you do? Look at you guys? Wow,
which fast food shain is famous for its frosty dessert, Wendy,
there's slogan used to be frost yourself. I don't think
that's true. It is, don't look it up.

Speaker 4 (01:00:03):
And Peter, what fast food chain is famous for its
famous star?

Speaker 7 (01:00:10):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:00:10):
That's right, guys, very impressive on a Monday. We're all exhausted.
You guys nailed it around the clause in that respect.
So now we go to a knots and top tiebreaker question.
Holler you know the answer. Name will be your buzzer.
Wait until sleepy Bride finishes asking the question before you
buzz in.

Speaker 2 (01:00:30):
What's a temptation you cannot resist?

Speaker 4 (01:00:33):
Stephanie, Oh, Stephanie, Stephanie, what's your temp?

Speaker 6 (01:00:38):
Drinking doctor pepper every day?

Speaker 1 (01:00:40):

Speaker 9 (01:00:47):
Never?

Speaker 1 (01:00:48):
Yeah?

Speaker 11 (01:00:48):

Speaker 4 (01:01:17):
I'll be exciting to go see. We also have a
bonus chance to win if you're listening on the iHeartRadio
app just to have the contest tab and you can
enter to win there as well. We'll have those all week.

Speaker 1 (01:01:29):
Nice job. Well listen, Peters, you exit the stage. This
moment is entirely yours. You take it away.

Speaker 6 (01:01:36):
Thanks for having me.

Speaker 1 (01:01:37):
I have fun.

Speaker 15 (01:01:38):
That was a good adrenalin rush.

Speaker 1 (01:01:41):
Now say that in Japanese.

Speaker 9 (01:01:46):
I'm not that good yet, but it was very Uh sagoy,

be coming to La in just a few days, and
workers at Sofi Stadium get ready to walk off the job.
That's still a possibility. We'll tell you about that. And

(01:02:14):
three things you need to know. John's got that morning
traffic Take twenty two it is Balentine in the morning,
the news being put together up until the last second,
stalling for time from Brian. It's perfect now, okay, thank you.
The World Cup kicks off in three days. Next story.
That's all you have in the person. While Mexico's taken

(01:02:36):
on South Africa on Thursday and Friday, Team USA is
going to be taken on Paraguay Sofi Stadium over the weekend.
Thousands of Sofi Stadium employees voted to authorize a strike.
They could walk off the job at any time. If
that happens, could create major headaches for fans with longer lines,
limited food and beverg service. It might be byob you know.
A Tesla driver was apparently caught sleeping behind the wheel

(01:02:58):
while traveling in the five South. Video shows the driver's
head slumped to the side as a car continued down
the freeway. Tesla appeared to be operating full self driving mode.
Unclear whether that incident was reported to authorities or not,
but that video is all over the place. I feel
like we see this video is quite often, you know,
I do too, Yeah, sleep in their Teslas and stuff
like that. They were talking about doing that Tesla cyber

(01:03:19):
truck or they're still testing that thing. Like, I don't
want a big autonomous cyber truck rumbling down the freeway
or something.

Speaker 5 (01:03:25):
Semi trucks, dude, they have like the autonomous semi trucks
that Yeah, I was trying to say, Yeah, yeah, they
still have those.

Speaker 1 (01:03:31):
Are they out there on the road. I don't know.
I've seen them, but I don't know if they're self
drive yet. Yeah, test those things like in Montana or something. Yeah. Wow,
note of the five. All right, Joelmo's turning get music.

Speaker 5 (01:03:41):
Well, Benson Boone has been teasing a new song coming
out at the end of the month. It's called The
Time of My Life, And over the weekend he released
a little new clip of this song, so we're starting
to hear what it's going to sound like.

Speaker 1 (01:03:49):
This is that clip he released. Sounds like a girls,
such a range.

Speaker 5 (01:04:03):
On this guy, So we're thinking that this might be
an emotional side of him too, because it's just one
of the first songs that he's released post his breakup.

Speaker 1 (01:04:13):
So it's been a minute and this whole song right here,
just as I'm having the time, having the time of
my life.

Speaker 4 (01:04:19):
But I don't know what happened in the relationship. But
if this was me and I heard him proclaiming this
through a song, I'd be like, hey, how's it.

Speaker 1 (01:04:32):
Going as a friend? A friend you run over to
the ex check on him.

Speaker 4 (01:04:38):
That is a big step.

Speaker 1 (01:04:40):
Bu I don't know. Yeah, but probably have friends anymore.
It sounds like a bad breakup.

Speaker 2 (01:04:45):
It does it does?

Speaker 1 (01:04:46):
It sounded that way too when it happened. But yeah,
it's hard to say.

Speaker 16 (01:04:52):
That she was there with.

Speaker 1 (01:05:03):
I wish you were here to experience the time of
my life. Yeah, yeah, I wish he was still right
here as a line that he says, or I got that,
but I thought at first I wish he was still alive.
I thought it was like, oh, yes, that kind of
song that I dude.

Speaker 5 (01:05:15):
We'll tre that clip on our Instagram if you want
to check it out. At Valentine in the Morning, I'm
John Combrinchie. That's what's trending in music.

Speaker 1 (01:05:19):
When did you take the blame for somebody else's mistake
sometimes at work that happens here in the studio, for
some one person. On our show one of fourth three
my family. It is Valentine in the Morning eight sixty
six five four four my FM, right, do you, jess
When did you take the blame for somebody else's mistake?

Speaker 6 (01:05:39):
I was in middle school and it was a PE class.
I was probably sixth.

Speaker 12 (01:05:43):
Seventh grade, so still small, and a classmate of mine
decided to bring them to the PE class and popped
it during pe.

Speaker 6 (01:05:52):
The teacher heard it was really upset about it, and
no one messed up to it. This girl her name
was also Jessica, so there's.

Speaker 2 (01:05:59):
Two yessica is in the class.

Speaker 6 (01:06:02):
By the end of like two or three days, I
was pressured.

Speaker 12 (01:06:05):
Into saying that it was me because the teacher had
us running laps instead of doing any other activity.

Speaker 1 (01:06:11):
Somebody had to take the blame, and You're like, I'll
finally take the blame, right.

Speaker 6 (01:06:16):
It wasn't that I wanted to.

Speaker 12 (01:06:17):
It's just like they kept saying it was me because
I'm also Jessica.

Speaker 6 (01:06:20):
So I was like, you know, fine, fine, I'll do it.
I got detention for two days. I got in so
much trouble with my parents, but yeah, I'll never do
that again.

Speaker 4 (01:06:30):
Did you try to explain to your parents that you
were just taking the blame so that you guys could
all move on?

Speaker 16 (01:06:35):
I and my dad just like, you know, that can
get you a lot of trouble later on, so just
be careful when you do stuff like that. My mom
was like, no, my daughter's a great student.

Speaker 12 (01:06:45):
I was a pretty good student at the time, and
so she went and kind of made it worse.

Speaker 6 (01:06:51):
She went to go talk to the teacher at the
school and gum popping gum.

Speaker 1 (01:06:56):
Yeah, your god, know what's so funny when you said,
because Hermes, Jessica, we're talking to Jessica, and you said
also Jessica, But all I heard was awful Jesse That's
what I heard, too, Yeah, and I thought that was
her new nickname, like and then the other girl, awful Jessica.
She sounds like an awful Jessure.

Speaker 6 (01:07:12):
She was probably she was like a few grades older,
so I think she was probably like in the eighth grade,
and she seemed to be part of the cool crowd
or whatever, so you can call it awful, yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:07:21):
That cool crowd. Popping gum whoa. They called them the
Hubba Bubba girls. There's bubblicious babies and.

Speaker 10 (01:07:31):
Tine in the morning at three one oh four three,
all right, the.

Speaker 1 (01:07:33):
Weather today, few morning clouds, Sunday, this afternoon tip seventy
to mid eighties, Jill says getting much hotter later on
this week sixty seven in Bellflower, sixty four in Lake Forest.
Joe also has the entertainment headlines coming.

Speaker 4 (01:07:48):
Up, Hey, Jim Carrey movie is being turned into a
TV series. I'll tell you which film coming up at
eight fifty.

Speaker 1 (01:07:54):
Sam, why did'd you take the blame for somebody else's mistake?
My daughter?

Speaker 9 (01:07:58):
On her eighteenth birthday, I was taking her uh on
to learn how to drive. We were driving around town
and then we're heading back home. We've gone to Starbucks,
and then we're going back around, going around a corner.
It was like you're going to wide white stop, stop stop,
and she panics, stomped on the on the gas and
drove us into a concrete wall, totally my truck. So

(01:08:21):
I told her to get the passenger side, and yeah,
and I took the because I knew her her poor
little driving record would be killing You.

Speaker 1 (01:08:30):
Did the old switch seats right now. I didn't know
who you were more scared of in that story, your
wife or the insurance company. Yeah, no, it was no,
no regrets, no regrets.

Speaker 13 (01:08:39):
Man.

Speaker 1 (01:08:40):
You know why you're good dad, because you're a dad.
You're an American?

Speaker 11 (01:08:45):
Dad?

Speaker 1 (01:08:46):
How to be an American? We're at least I'll switch
those seats, Wade, and my daughter does something when we
get something to eat. We're pulling through the Starbucks. Probably
not much.

Speaker 14 (01:09:00):
An Americans where the stando Land.

Speaker 1 (01:09:04):
Texans are coming in here. Well, thank you're saluting bride.
Very nice of you. Two hundred and fifty years guys
to fifty this year.

Speaker 7 (01:09:11):
What's Joe.

Speaker 8 (01:09:14):
Next?

Speaker 1 (01:09:15):
And they've been her still today. God bless the USA,
no doubt this. God blessed dads switching seats when their
daughter hits the concrete structure. To be fair, some of
those Starbucks drivers are very hard to navigate. Some we're
so super tight, right. You see people like rim in
it the entire time. They scratch up their rims and stuff.

Speaker 4 (01:09:36):
And you see all of the marks right there on
the wall of every car that's been there before.

Speaker 1 (01:09:40):
Minnesota. But I'll tell you something about my Prius Tennessee.
It's a smaller car across the plains of Flavor now
and then I gun it. See how far I can
go fast from the screen right to the window pick
up point. I've gotten my foreign made vehicle, and I

(01:10:05):
got no regrets. Why I'm gonna tell you why I'm
proud to be American? Please time to John Peeks out
of town. It's obvious to me. Did you have text
I've been stalling for you. This is not my fault.

Speaker 4 (01:10:31):
I am not taking the blame for that.

Speaker 1 (01:10:32):
How much more time do you need to organize your
texts over there?

Speaker 4 (01:10:36):
When did you take the blame wow for someone else's mistake?

Speaker 1 (01:10:44):
Why is everybody screaming? John? Please help out here?

Speaker 8 (01:10:47):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:10:48):
I can read some text if you'd like her.

Speaker 2 (01:10:50):
Let me know you.

Speaker 4 (01:10:51):
This one says my friend backed into a mailbox in
high school and I somehow ended up explaining it to
his dad because his dad loved me, and I kind
of took the blame. Another text is I my kid
drew all over the wall and I told my life
my I'm so pleasured. My kid drew all over the
wall and I told my wife I should have been

(01:11:12):
watching him better. And then this text says, my sister, Oh.

Speaker 1 (01:11:21):
God, bless the USA. Thank you. What was the last
text you said?

Speaker 4 (01:11:29):
My sister snuck out in high school and I covered
for her when she went to a party and I
was grounded for six months.

Speaker 1 (01:11:36):
Thank you? For that eight sixty six, five four four
my FM text in Jill will get your text at
three one oh four three. When'd you take the blame
for someone else? They say, the holy what? A lot
of people asking, did Jill give Colin one thousand dollars
for graduation? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:11:55):
Just everybody's aware. Valentine said that as his godmother, I
should give him a thousand dollars for his high school graduation.
And I said, there's no way.

Speaker 1 (01:12:04):
I said ten. But I back down to the South.

Speaker 4 (01:12:06):
There's no way I'm giving him a thousand.

Speaker 1 (01:12:08):
Did does weel pretzels? Appearances? Can? You're making some money
on the side of that, a thousand bucks? Her and Jeff,
her husband, gave him a very nice watch. I haven't
seen it, but I'm sure it's a very nice watch. Yeah,
and I guess it was a little too big for
his hand. So I'm sitting there at my house, you know,
entertaining all these guests and everything. Collins graduation party, my
son graduating high school. Congrats all the kids graduating school
out there, please shout him out three one to four

(01:12:29):
to three at any time. And she comes to the backyard.
She goes, hey, by any chance, do you have a
watch resizing kit? Sorry? What most people are asking, where's
the bathroom? Do you have any plastic cups? You know,
any more of this or that? A watch resizing kit?
I'm like, no, why would you think I had a

(01:12:49):
watch resizing kit?

Speaker 4 (01:12:50):
My husband told me you wouldn't, but I just wanted
to ask for to make sure.

Speaker 1 (01:12:54):
So he had one at the house in Riverside.

Speaker 4 (01:12:56):
Yeah, but my husband loves watches. He's into him, right,
So he's got a few, and so he has this
little kit.

Speaker 1 (01:13:02):
Thing to resize watch.

Speaker 4 (01:13:03):
Yeah, and like, of course Colin could take it to
a jeweler and all that, but we just want I
wanted it done right there so we could wear it,
maybe take it on his trip.

Speaker 1 (01:13:10):
Or you thought that maybe I'd have a watch recie maybe.

Speaker 4 (01:13:13):
Like doesn't have to ask?

Speaker 1 (01:13:14):
Would we be surprised if vou had a watch resize
or kid?

Speaker 5 (01:13:17):
I would if I were an Apple watch out of
anyone that I know in this company, it's got holes
in it.

Speaker 1 (01:13:22):
I wouldn't be surprised if you had something like a
watch resizing kit. Yeah, I've got an Apple watch and
it has like little holes in the band. They did it.
Somebody who put these watches together were super smart and
put holes in it. So I did it to buy
a kit.

Speaker 4 (01:13:33):
Yeah, we have to take three links out so be
test holes. We took the watch back with us. Okay,
Jeff's gonna resize it and I'm going to bring it
back so.

Speaker 1 (01:13:41):
Back to you, right, And did you check the size
of his hand? Did you take like a little.

Speaker 4 (01:13:44):
String or he knows, like Jeff's And then he was like, hey,
we got to remove three links.

Speaker 1 (01:13:49):
He knew what to do because he has a watch
resizing kit. Yes, you guys, you don't have a travel
watch recis.

Speaker 7 (01:13:54):
Kit with him.

Speaker 4 (01:13:56):
He brought it with him, but he left it in
his car because we drove with my parents, which we
My god, he was gonna have it, but he left
it in the car.

Speaker 1 (01:14:05):
The parade of mistakes, I know, I know coming coming through.

Speaker 4 (01:14:09):
Jeff picked out the watch because I don't know what.

Speaker 1 (01:14:11):
Is it a nice watch?

Speaker 4 (01:14:11):
It must be very nice.

Speaker 1 (01:14:13):
It's not ax? Is it a bolex?

Speaker 4 (01:14:17):
Jeff said it was a very respectable starter watch for
future to overcall his future collection.

Speaker 1 (01:14:24):
Got it? Does it have? Does it have like a
calculator on it?

Speaker 2 (01:14:29):
No?

Speaker 4 (01:14:30):
I don't think she still love.

Speaker 1 (01:14:31):
Those with the calculator built in. Remember those big watch
and had a calculator right in the face, will watch
as a calculator. All right, you know what?

Speaker 3 (01:14:37):

Speaker 1 (01:16:50):
Without you, my friend. Hey, what do you think about
the rumor that Taylor and Travis would wed at Madison
Square Guard and MSG.

Speaker 4 (01:17:01):
I saw the headline over the weekend, and I thought,
there's no way this has to be fake. But TMZ
is reporting it that they have an anonymous source. The
only thing that kind of makes sense about it is
it can be heavily secured. They can really crack.

Speaker 1 (01:17:14):
Game there tonight. Yeah. Game three is tonight and presidents
going to that game too. I think yes, some we
just got stabbed out sid of MSG though or something
like that. It's been insane, has it? Really?

Speaker 5 (01:17:23):
People have been watching the games outside of MSG two,
So as soon as the Knicks have won the last
two games, like chaos out there.

Speaker 1 (01:17:29):
Yeah. They were saying like, if you don't have a
ticket for tonight's game or something like that, don't be
anywhere near that place. Only people that have a reason
to be there or something. But Taylor and Travis get married.

Speaker 4 (01:17:40):
There, They're saying it's gonna happen like July third.

Speaker 1 (01:17:44):
Oh shoot, I'll be in Riverside on the fourth. Yes
you will.

Speaker 4 (01:17:48):
And then also do when you have a ton of
money like they do, you can turn Madison Square Garden
into a wedding venue, you know, just.

Speaker 1 (01:17:56):
For the guests. Anyway. I'm sure they're gonna have some
kind of private romantic thing themselves some way.

Speaker 4 (01:18:00):
Right, That's what I thought that they would do something first.

Speaker 1 (01:18:03):
I just thought it would look so much better at
like a Newport mansion or something.

Speaker 4 (01:18:07):
Well, everybody keeps ruining it. For ruining it for them.

Speaker 5 (01:18:10):
So you have two weddings, like do a lipa. She's
having her second wedding in Sicily right now.

Speaker 1 (01:18:14):
Why couldn't you do it to.

Speaker 4 (01:18:15):
A Newport Guys, people find out where it's going to be,
what the venue is, and then they have cancel And
then I think they've just been kind of.

Speaker 1 (01:18:22):
Throwing off streets. It could keep people out and stuff
like that.

Speaker 4 (01:18:25):
They could, But the Swifties, you know, she no, you do.

Speaker 1 (01:18:30):
The breakers in Newport. You got a whole big backyard.
Sure people can be out there in the ocean boats,
but you can do like a I don't know, some
type of protective zone. It's Taylor Swift.

Speaker 4 (01:18:38):
Could you then keep out the drones and the paparazzi.

Speaker 1 (01:18:41):
Shooting down the people from Ukraine that know what they're doing,
shoot those things down, man, you know, get a couple
of Patriot batteries out there. You guys are busy, but yeah,
it'll it'll work out.

Speaker 10 (01:18:52):
From the dans and SUV's to full size trucks. Experience
the incredible power and fuel efficiency with Toyota electrified breezing.

Speaker 1 (01:19:00):
You need to know right now. So yesterday afternoon, a
very very powerful seven point eight magnitude earthquake hit the Philippines.
A quake destroyed buildings, knocked out power power, send people
rushing into the streets. There has been a loss of
life as well. Quite a few several strong aftershocks followed,
including one measuring six point five. If you have people
in that area, Wrath has family the Philippines, says our

(01:19:21):
Afternoon show, and many Street's also a Philippine to set
as family there. You have family in the Philippines, I
hope your family is okay. McDonald's testing a new artificial
intelligence system at its drive through programs called arch Iq.
Like the arches, I can take orders in English and Spanish.
The abot will also answer questions, suggest additional items, then

(01:19:42):
send orders directly to the kitchen. All right, so is
this nobody in the drive through talking to you anymore?
Just a robot talking to you? That's no fun. No,
you know, let's have the battle trying to understand that
we don't want somebody who speaks professionally. Now, come on,
all right, John, what's training? Your music is?

Speaker 7 (01:20:00):
This week?

Speaker 1 (01:20:00):
For Olivia Rodrigo, Her new album drops on Friday.

Speaker 5 (01:20:03):
Over the weekend, she gave us a little sneak peak
at one of her songs, her very first collab ever
with Robert Smith of The Cure Songs, called What's Wrong.

Speaker 8 (01:20:09):
With Me Doctor? She says, fun John Meditation, somebody much
Chess talks to.

Speaker 1 (01:20:25):
Kind of a big deal.

Speaker 5 (01:20:26):
Olivia's never really released a collab before, so this is
gonna be her very first one. Comes out with the
rest of her album this Friday. I'm John Kamuji. That's
what's trending in music?

Speaker 1 (01:20:35):
See John, what do we get for traffic?

Speaker 9 (01:20:43):
For you?

Speaker 14 (01:20:44):
Met?

Speaker 1 (01:20:47):
One of four three MIFM. It's balance in the morning.
It's a big dust bunny in my throat or something.
It must be the studio. We're moving things around in
the studio and then and then dust gets kicked up
and stuff. It is so dirty. Oh my gosh, it's
so funny. You walk down like the Ryan Seacret studios,
pristine and clean, and it's like you could eat off
of his bottom the floor. I mean, everything is so
pristy to clean down there, right, and then you get

(01:21:09):
into our room and it's like, this is like old
school radio. This is what you think radio looked like
in the day. Then they cleaned it up and stuff
over the years, but this is still it. Yeah. Should
we take our March Madness bracket down? It's covering a
hole in the wall, Like the kiss of paper is
literally covering a hole in our wall.

Speaker 8 (01:21:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:21:27):
Yeah, So that's how the studio works. Everyone else is that.
I heart if you ever tour the facilities, right, beautiful
the couch. We love our couch. You know they're talking
about remodeling the studio, but we want to keep that couch.
We've got people coming in this week, I think, right,
we do love more couch visits.

Speaker 4 (01:21:41):
Yeah, yeah, I think when tomorrow as well.

Speaker 1 (01:21:43):
Okay, reach out to Jill for couch visits. If you
want to sit here and be a live studio audience member.

Speaker 2 (01:21:47):
I had a private call from our boss, John Peak
over the weekend and he said, you know, we're doing
some changes to the studio. Don't try anything stupid. Don't
try to get bunk beds. We're not putting in pots
and pans hanging from the ceiling like since we've made it.

Speaker 1 (01:22:01):
We made that suggestion. I think might be good.

Speaker 2 (01:22:04):
Fire would be good, but we are not getting any
of our fun requests.

Speaker 1 (01:22:08):
We're not getting bunk beds.

Speaker 2 (01:22:09):
He said, down to bunk beds.

Speaker 1 (01:22:10):
But that is awesome. Laura and I've been fighting for
bunk beds. She wanted to take the top. I was
gonna take the bottoms to be fantastic.

Speaker 2 (01:22:18):
The idea was that you could interview a celebrity. They
would be on one of the bunks and then the
camera right on your faces.

Speaker 1 (01:22:24):
Right, we're both on bunk beds. They're in the top,
I'm on the bottom. Maybe sometimes they take the bottom,
sometimes I take the top. It's very fun Top and
bottoms with Valentine. It's a great podcast. Don't you steal that?
It's been said, so don't you steal it. They're not
gonna take it. They're not once we have. I sent
that idea to myself thirty seven years ago in an

(01:22:44):
envelope and I never opened it. So it's mine, mine, mine, mine,
mine mine. All right. What do you guys doing today?
Is resting, recovering from your weekends.

Speaker 4 (01:22:53):
You don't have any plans today?
