Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's the Valentine in the Morning replay.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
Welcome to the breakfast table of Valentine in the Morning.
I laughed heartily.
Speaker 3 (00:06):
Oh John, help us respectful to say I love you.
The full show podcast starts right now.
Speaker 4 (00:14):
My name is Collins. You are seeing my Dabby. Valentine
in the Morning on went off four fleet last and
previously on Valentine in the.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
Morning, John Peak, our boss, was in New York. Recently,
John Peak and several other iHeart executives went to New
York to hear the new Taylor Swift song, which we
all love. Now. John just casually dropped that he went
to Taylor's home where she lays ahead to rest upon
her pillow when the evening falls. He went to her
house to hear the new Taylor Swift song. He hung
(00:48):
with Taylor Swift. Now, the next phrase you're gonna hear
is clear as we give Jill electric shocks to bring
her heart back on line.
Speaker 4 (00:57):
Who Because John Peek trusts me with secrets, I knew
about that.
Speaker 3 (01:05):
I knew.
Speaker 4 (01:05):
I knew he was going in advance.
Speaker 2 (01:08):
Did your face time in from the house, No wire.
Speaker 4 (01:12):
I got the full run down when he got back,
got to hear all about it.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
Did Taylor Swift speak with you?
Speaker 1 (01:17):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (01:18):
And I got to pet that cat? You know that?
Speaker 4 (01:20):
Oh, I don't know which one, the squishy face catch Benjamin.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
Headed Taylor's cat.
Speaker 4 (01:29):
Yep, this is incredible.
Speaker 2 (01:31):
And then did you hold on before you say anything else?
Because I'm just so shuggy pet tailors, kiddie, can you
pet Jill for a second, just so she can had
the transference of petty Taylor's cat.
Speaker 4 (01:42):
I don't think I can pick up Jill the way
I picked up the cat.
Speaker 2 (01:44):
You you held Taylor Swiss cat was just walking around.
Taylor's cat picks up Taylor Swiss. Today show starts now
(02:09):
one O four three, My famines Valentine. In the morning,
I rode the peloton for the first time in ages
the other day. I'm back, guys, Okay, I'm ripped.
Speaker 4 (02:21):
What made you jump on?
Speaker 2 (02:25):
Fatness? Fatness every day? And she lives inside my mind?
Speaker 3 (02:30):
You hopped on the other day. Have we been on since.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
The other day? Yeah? Okay, yeah, yeah, we're building a
little building a routine. Yeah. I got dropped down right
now where you guys discuss how your night was and
how life is and give you ten push early today.
WHOA all right, dude, and you want to make it
entertaining because I need I need to push up background.
Speaker 3 (02:49):
Make it exciting. Okay, Okay, I could say I learned
a new tip this weekend.
Speaker 4 (02:54):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (02:54):
I was gone obviously in the river, so I was
in a lot of sun.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
Tell us yesterday.
Speaker 3 (02:59):
Used a lot of sun screen over the weekend. I
don't even hear your start yet, dude. Oh he's in position.
All right, there we got going anyway. Lathered my sin
skin with sunblock. Yes, didn't get sunburned all weekend. So
your tip is to use sun Who would have thought
that works?
Speaker 4 (03:14):
John? What of course it works?
Speaker 3 (03:16):
I just like, I guess I still get sunburned. I
never like to apply it.
Speaker 2 (03:20):
I wouldn't say yet. Didn't think you want to get sunburned? Why?
Speaker 3 (03:26):
Because when I go to the beach and I use sunscreen,
I usually put it on the beginning of the day, yes,
and then I don't really reapply. So then by the
end of the day I get sunburned, and I'm like,
well it must not work.
Speaker 2 (03:36):
Oh water, you have to reapply it every eighty minutes.
Speaker 3 (03:39):
I know, And I actually tried that for once this
past weekend. Didn't get a lick a sun. Yeah, yeah,
the best.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
That's great, john So who would have thought people have
done that for many years?
Speaker 3 (03:49):
Johnny. There are some who think you can beat the sun,
and this is my tip to those people. You cannot
beat the sun.
Speaker 5 (03:56):
The sun.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
Yeah, I give my kid a bunch of like kind
of expensive suncream. I did some research and really good stuff.
It was mineral based. The mineral base is not an
absorption thing. It's a coverage thing. We're using mineral baster.
You don't even know or no idea. Well whatever they
gave me. Some are better than others for your health
long term and stuff like that. But using sunscreen just
inherently as good. I need to do more too.
Speaker 3 (04:17):
From Australia and I feel like they get a lot
of sun out there, so I trusted this brand.
Speaker 2 (04:21):
Yeah maybe so maybe So you have to look.
Speaker 4 (04:23):
At the ingredients wearing sunscreen every day on your face.
Speaker 2 (04:25):
I don't either, I should too. Oh yeah, But and
I thought the skin cancer and stuff a little lot
of breath because I just ripped out four hundred push ups.
Speaker 4 (04:36):
Crazy to see free. I can't even do one real
push up. I have to put my knees down.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
You can see yourself out because I did ten. Okay,
I did three. I did ten.
Speaker 4 (04:48):
Yeah, to stop as you were coming over for the sunscreen.
Speaker 2 (04:50):
Chot that was at ten. I was going to continue
to do one hundred, but I stopped at ten because
a sunscreen chat had me peaked. Anyway, what I'm trying
to get to, if you'd allow me, is my son's
in Mexico, and I sent him with a bunch of
some block because he's kind of like John just goes,
oh whatever, man, I tan. But I tried to explain
to him, like one wrong sunburn can give you skin
(05:10):
cancer down the road. I had a friend that passed away.
Him and his wife both passed away from skin cancer.
Oh wow, yeah years ago. So it's a serious thing. Yeah,
for sure, gonna be careful with that. Yeah, I need
to do better myself. I always think I just out
there for five minutes six So you know, you're at
a soccer game, you're burned.
Speaker 3 (05:25):
Onide of your face. I think you're not even out
there that long. But it really doesn't take long.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
Doesn't take long. You got to keep it in your car.
That's one good thing to do. And I've learned over
the years. Keep it in your car. I keep like
that gardener's hat in my car. Sometimes I would do
that for like soccer games and stuff. You know.
Speaker 4 (05:40):
And even when there's cloud coverage, you can still get burned.
Speaker 2 (05:43):
You can get burned if you're black. Yeah, it doesn't
doesn't matter your skin tone or your pigmentation. Still burned. Yeah,
still get burned. Absolutely, Jill, How are you bad?
Speaker 4 (05:51):
I'm good. I'm getting ready for prom coming up, and
I got my toes O prom, gotcha? Yeah, get my
toes done last night.
Speaker 2 (06:00):
I'm really not gonna think about getting ready till Thursday morning.
Speaker 4 (06:03):
Probly.
Speaker 2 (06:03):
I guess I should order a tux.
Speaker 4 (06:05):
Yes, you always went to the last minute. Luckily they
always were able to take care of you. But get
that tux man.
Speaker 2 (06:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (06:11):
Man.
Speaker 4 (06:11):
Did you guys get yours your turtlenecks and chains or props?
Speaker 3 (06:15):
Yeah, we got props, we did. I got my chain
in the mail from Amazon.
Speaker 2 (06:19):
That looks so good. Is it gold?
Speaker 1 (06:22):
It's gold?
Speaker 2 (06:23):
Nice?
Speaker 6 (06:23):
Dude?
Speaker 2 (06:24):
Does it have something on it or just a gold chat?
Just respectful, very respectful. I got something from Amazon too.
I got a plank.
Speaker 4 (06:38):
You're gonna make people walk the plank if you their outfits.
Speaker 2 (06:41):
Yep, okay, yep, it's at the head of the boat.
Why don't you wear your kilt? Why have you never
worn the kilter? Prompt your event?
Speaker 3 (06:51):
Yes, John can't tell you what to do with this event.
Speaker 2 (06:53):
That's your event. You want it, don't you? Because you
know what happens when you're on a ship out at
see when the winds blow fair or stern. We will
take ship again and show you what this fella is wearing. Please,
and you wear it traditionally, so the winds start to howl. Ooh,
what you might see under the moonlight? My friend, that's
(07:15):
why I haven't worn it.
Speaker 1 (07:16):
It wasn't anywhere with the free iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 2 (07:20):
One O four to three. My fabin is Valentine in
the morning. Hi, Don, what's up? Buddy?
Speaker 7 (07:25):
Hey guys, Hey Don, how are you doing?
Speaker 5 (07:27):
Man?
Speaker 7 (07:28):
I'm good, I'm good.
Speaker 4 (07:29):
All right?
Speaker 2 (07:30):
What's going on? What do you want to talk about?
Speaker 8 (07:31):
So?
Speaker 7 (07:31):
I just want to talk about people celebrating their birthday.
I mean people voluntarily saying it's your birthday when no
and asked, you know, it's kind kind of annoying.
Speaker 3 (07:40):
What are you talking about? The Battle of the Sexes yesterday?
Speaker 2 (07:44):
Yes, how would you have that memory? From the Battle
of the Sexes yesterday? Somebody shouted out their birthday?
Speaker 4 (07:48):
Not so too, because it stuck out to me what.
Speaker 7 (07:51):
I'm also celebrating birthdays, I mean and acknowledging like your
wife's birthday or your son's birthday or something like that.
But go out and it's a screaming attention Well I
think she was.
Speaker 4 (08:02):
I think she was excited.
Speaker 2 (08:03):
Wait a bite. Are we talking about the lady that
was on the Battle yesterday?
Speaker 9 (08:05):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (08:06):
She basically if I remember yesterday, she goes, hey, great
to be on the show. It takes my birthday yay. Yeah,
that was it.
Speaker 6 (08:13):
Yeah, that was it.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
That a big screaming everybody's seeing me happy birthdays thing.
Speaker 4 (08:17):
No, and she's on the radio, So you know you
want to shout out your birthday on the radio. I
would think, well, if you want.
Speaker 2 (08:22):
To, she's just nervous. Just happen to mention today, happens
to your birthday?
Speaker 3 (08:25):
They say a little bit attention seeking? Yes, however, are
you allowed to do that on your birthday?
Speaker 2 (08:29):
Also? Yes, I don't think I thinking. I think everybody
in this room is an attention seeker. Yeah, look, you know,
so Don, that bothered you enough that you wanted to
call in and talk about it.
Speaker 7 (08:45):
Yeah, first thing in the morning when you wake up.
You know, you hear that and you're.
Speaker 4 (08:49):
Like, oh, Don, on your birthday? Do you not tell
anyone it's your birthday?
Speaker 7 (08:54):
I mean not, not really. I don't go volunteering that
it's my birthday. I mean, I'm not the kind of
person share a lot of details with people. But at
the same time, it's like, you know, I don't voluntarily say, hey,
it's my birthday. Guys.
Speaker 2 (09:07):
Oh god, well listen, there's birthday and then his birthday week,
birthday month, all that stuff. Right, birthday quarter. You're made
for Brian, You guys are two peas in a pod.
He hates birthday shot. I feel the same way.
Speaker 3 (09:18):
I get annoyed if someone says, hey, that's the date
of my birthday.
Speaker 2 (09:21):
My birthday's coming up. It bothers me. Yeah, but it's
like that's a whole big coming up. I'm fine as
you bump into Sementy go hey, man, I did pretty good.
Hey today's my birthday. O. Yeah, happy birthday. Keep moving on.
What's the big deal? As an adult? Keep it to yourself, like,
grow up because you tell people it's your birthday. Yes, yes,
don you're my people. Well, guess what hot shot? This
little July fourth shin dig she's throwing. I know I'm
(09:44):
finding out us also doubling as a birthday party for Jill.
Speaker 3 (09:48):
You better bring that thousand down the check baby exactly.
Speaker 2 (09:53):
She lives in a riverside Do you know what that is? Riverside?
Speaker 7 (09:55):
Don Uh, not quite. I'm kind of mute to the
LA area.
Speaker 4 (10:00):
It's not in LA I'll tell you that, close to
San Diego. But I finded everybody the show for our house,
for our fourth of July party that we have every year,
get in too. Everybody got a y. Yeah the bones
are coming.
Speaker 2 (10:12):
Where'd you say it from?
Speaker 7 (10:12):
Dons?
Speaker 2 (10:14):
All right? So picture driving from Boston to Vancouver. It's
that far.
Speaker 4 (10:19):
It's far. But Leilani offered to bring a gluten free
birthday cake, knowing that my birthday is JULYFEI is.
Speaker 2 (10:26):
Also offered to bring me in Colin and we didn't
agree to that.
Speaker 4 (10:29):
I knew it. I knew when it was only Leilani
texting back. I told Jeff, I said, I don't know
if Beal's going to come, but just so work clear.
Speaker 2 (10:38):
I will show you the text chain that you're not on,
that I'm not on. Yeah, you want to come over
and read it?
Speaker 4 (10:46):
Okay, Oh okay, yeah, so's not coming.
Speaker 2 (10:51):
No, we don't know if I'm coming or not.
Speaker 3 (10:53):
What did he say?
Speaker 4 (10:54):
He said, riverside? What the blue?
Speaker 2 (11:01):
I love you, don thanks for calling in, but you
take care of me. Ah, thanks, thank you for one
O four three FM, one of four three, My fam,
It's Valentine in the morning. Tashi, do you want to
introduce her?
Speaker 6 (11:16):
So?
Speaker 2 (11:17):
Tashi runs the phones in the other room. We're training
someone new to help out. Tashi tataway.
Speaker 10 (11:21):
This is Ali Nahara went to season, went to USC
and she has now joined the team.
Speaker 8 (11:26):
Here.
Speaker 2 (11:27):
I'm sorry, I went to USC.
Speaker 4 (11:29):
Yes, I did go to school there.
Speaker 2 (11:30):
Yes, I just went there.
Speaker 4 (11:32):
I did a year program.
Speaker 2 (11:33):
Wow, I went to Yale. Oh bookstore, that's right off campus.
Your T shirt says.
Speaker 4 (11:39):
Yell so like over season. I'm oh, thank you?
Speaker 1 (11:45):
What nothing.
Speaker 3 (11:49):
Over there too? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (11:52):
I wasn't going past it.
Speaker 7 (11:53):
All right.
Speaker 4 (11:53):
You got very excited for Uscah. I get very excited
for se Son as well.
Speaker 2 (11:57):
Yes, yes, listen, I love to see somebody getting in
the season getting in the USC are a little bit
different sometimes in their paths, but there are many season
graduates who probably excelled many USC graduates. But it's not
a competition, Jill. It's about further education exactly. Thank you,
Thank you for coming around. So Ali, you have a
(12:19):
story about the elevator What happened to the elevator today?
Speaker 10 (12:22):
I was here for an early morning shifts, one of
the only ones I've done, and I ran into who
I now know is the president and my Heart, and
I just introduced myself because it was the elevator.
Speaker 2 (12:33):
Eat, saying hi to him, right, you're a friendly.
Speaker 10 (12:35):
Kid exactly, and I'm like, Hi, nice to meet you.
He's like, do you work at iHeart. I was like, yes,
I do, I'm a board op. What do you do?
And he kind of like like smiled and was He
basically just said he's the president of iHeart.
Speaker 2 (12:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (12:50):
I was gagged because.
Speaker 10 (12:52):
Yeah, yeah, it was kind of awkward, but I feel
like it could have gone worse.
Speaker 3 (12:56):
He was really nice, so I was, yeah, yeah, that's
a cute interaction.
Speaker 2 (12:59):
Can you imagine sitting there, Well, I'm a board operator,
run some controls. I'm new to the company and uh,
what do you do like everything, I'm the president. I mean,
just to say I'm the president must be so much
fun for somebody to right, she would have said, sure, dude,
you should have asked to see his pass We've been
told before, like see something, say something with security in
(13:20):
the building. If you don't know who they are, asked
to see their pass. So I think next time you
see somebody one of those, yeah, I see your past.
You know. I did it all the time, you know,
even when people I know.
Speaker 3 (13:31):
Just say I got an email from the president of
the company that said I should be looking at people's passes.
You're going to need to see yours past.
Speaker 2 (13:37):
Didn't you tell him then you get his emails or something?
Speaker 5 (13:39):
Yeah?
Speaker 10 (13:39):
I was like, oh my gosh, it's so nice to
like see the face to the name your emails all
the time.
Speaker 3 (13:45):
I shook his hand your emails all the time.
Speaker 4 (13:48):
Yeah, yeah, very awkward, But I mean it could have
gone worse.
Speaker 10 (13:50):
You hold open the door for me because I had
like too many things in my hand.
Speaker 8 (13:54):
Wow.
Speaker 4 (13:55):
Yeah, yeah, he was really nice.
Speaker 2 (13:56):
She has a very pleasant speaking voice. Brian, thank you,
Like I'm doing the comparative between there you go. We'll
be right back. It's Valentine in the Morning.
Speaker 11 (14:08):
In the morning, Valentine in the Morning, my FM nineties.
Speaker 12 (14:13):
Two now.
Speaker 2 (14:16):
One O four to three, my fam, It's Valentine in
the Morning. Tell me if I'm wrong, tell me if
I'm right. Okay, a new feature called tell me if
I'm wrong, Tell me if I'm right. Over the weekend,
we had a party at my house. Prep in the
house is a big thing. I'm out there doing a
ton of stuff in the backyard and everything. My wife's
doing stuff. Not trying to bug her. She's got plenty
of things on our list. And I found these things
in the backyard up on the embankment. There were little
(14:37):
round balls like the size of a ping pong ball,
perfect example, size of a ping pong ball, but solid
yet there was a hole through the middle. Okay, so
like somebody drilled a hole into them, not all the
way through, just in the middle, right, And they were
solid weight, think like mothball type things like that. But
about side of the ping pong ball I'd found too,
I'm like, what are these? It felt kind of oily,
and they had a little scent to them. I'm like,
(14:59):
oh my god, I hope they're not from our pest
control guy, and he put these here for some kind
of pest. I have dogs. Dogs would eat these. I'm like,
I don't know what they are. And I texted the
pest control guy. I got nothing back from him, so
I just threw him in the trash. Last night, sitting
at our house, I said to my wife, got a
mosquito bite? She goes, really, I go, yeah, I might
(15:20):
have got it from the party this past weekend or something.
She goes, I guess those citronella balls didn't work because
I put a bunch of citchenella balls outside. You did, because, yeah,
that's what they were. What do you mean that's what
they were? Well, I found a bunch of them, but
I didn't know what they were. Oh, the pest control
guy put him out and worried about the dog. So
I threw them out. You threw them out. I put
(15:42):
him in the yard. I'm like, well, you should have
told me. Do I have to tell you everything?
Speaker 3 (15:48):
I feel like you should have checked with her, text
the pest control but didn't ask your wife.
Speaker 2 (15:54):
My wife never does anything like that. You're wrong, what
I guess that was the case, and my right?
Speaker 3 (16:05):
Is she wrong? Joe what do you think? Yeah, I
think you're wrong. What I got, asked the wife man unknown.
Speaker 2 (16:12):
She was very busy. I didn't want to bother her.
You ended up bothering her. Yeah, I went, I throw out.
I didn't throw them all out through two. I go, well,
where are they? Well, I chucked it. Here's where it
should go on my side, because I chucked them up
on the embankment from you don't even know where.
Speaker 3 (16:25):
They all are.
Speaker 2 (16:26):
The dogs are going to come home from the kennel
and go sniffing around and find the citrunella balls.
Speaker 4 (16:31):
Pet friendly or she wouldn't have thrown them in the yard.
Speaker 2 (16:34):
Dude, I don't know. They were very citronella's smelling and
little greasy to them and stuff like that. And one
of them she put in a potted like planter that's
right outside one of our windows. Walking around the house,
last side of like smells like citronella. So they waffed.
Anybody get mosquitoes? Yeah, but did you get any of
(16:54):
my part?
Speaker 9 (16:55):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (16:55):
I was.
Speaker 2 (16:57):
You can't. I'm saying, this weekend at my house and
it's gonna get bit by mosquitos. I covered, Are you
really from this weekend?
Speaker 1 (17:06):
No?
Speaker 2 (17:06):
I don't think so.
Speaker 4 (17:07):
I'm sorry I didn't get one bite. I think you're wrong.
You should have asked her, even if you take a
photo and texted to her. You texted the PESCA. Don't
roll your eyes at me. You're the one who asked, I.
Speaker 2 (17:16):
Didn't roll my eyes. Did not roll my eyes? Brian,
what was your final thought? You're right, of course on
minor side.
Speaker 4 (17:25):
Bro.
Speaker 2 (17:25):
Thank you. John. Your vote doesn't actually count because you
weren't there.
Speaker 5 (17:28):
That's right.
Speaker 2 (17:29):
I haven't seen the balls, right, okay, John, many of
us would disagree with that. Your paternity. Let's get that
morning traffic, John standing by, all right, one O four
to three my FM six seven. It's one O four three,
(17:49):
mim it's balance. And in the morning. Let's do some
top tingles. Today. We're going around the room and we're
all gonna give you a topic. Then you reach out,
let us know what's tingling? Yeah, which one of these
topics gets you in that special spots? Sun up, beautiful
day and so cal we're gonna tingle you right now.
Jill hit me with the topic girl.
Speaker 4 (18:05):
Who randomly showed up in your dream? Who showed a
couple of nights ago, pee wee herman was sitting on
my couch hair. I came downtown. I walked into the
living room and he was there with my husband. In
my dream. It was so weird in his little suit
and red bow.
Speaker 2 (18:22):
Tie, pure last.
Speaker 4 (18:25):
And I said to him, iself, didn't you pass away?
Speaker 3 (18:27):
Yeah, like a week ago, Henry de Carlo showed up
in my dream, the weather guy.
Speaker 2 (18:32):
He passedword like, what the heck's happened?
Speaker 3 (18:34):
I think it's because I've been looking at his hair
a lot recently.
Speaker 2 (18:36):
Okay, yeah, Henry's curl in your dream?
Speaker 7 (18:39):
All right?
Speaker 4 (18:39):
Right, So who randomly showed up in your dream?
Speaker 2 (18:41):
Got it? Shean? What do you got if you were
a president?
Speaker 3 (18:43):
What would be your first act as president? I would
turn all airplanes into movie theater seating. You will now
get movie theater seating in your airplanes. Oh that's nice,
space recliners. That's my act.
Speaker 2 (18:55):
Okay, all right, Well that president's last long I would say,
is anybody out there keeping your weight loss drug a
secret from certain people? Are you hiding it from folks?
Do you have your zep found on the back of
the fridge behind the orange juice or something? Okay, you're
not telling people to work, letting them think you're working out,
but it's actually a GLP one or something like that.
So who's keeping their weight loss drug hidden? And if
(19:18):
you reach out we gonna change your voice too. So
so far we have who's in your dream? First act?
This president? Who's hiding your weight loss drug? It's okay,
safe place? Eight sixty six by four to four, MYFM?
What tingles you? Or maybe you know somebody? Oh Sally
at work? Okay you're working out? Sally? Oh okay, Sally?
Am I soal eight six six by four four MYFM?
(19:41):
Texting three one oh four to three. Text Valentine in
the morning at three one four three, all right. The
weather today, sunny, temps seventies to mid eighties, sixty one
Robia sixty three, coast to Mesa. Jill's got in the
entertainment headlines coming up.
Speaker 4 (19:54):
Former Saturday Night Live star Boen Yang is talking about
why he left SNL. I'll tell you what he's said,
coming up at six fifty.
Speaker 2 (20:01):
I've been watching er lately. So the other night a
few characters appeared in my dream. I was hoping I
was hanging out with Doug and Ross, and Doug Ross
and Carol Hathaway and John Carter. Who are these people?
Doug Ross, Caro Halfway, John Carter, do you know them?
Speaker 4 (20:13):
I feel like that's George Clooney and their character names.
Speaker 2 (20:17):
I think, right, maybe I don't know. I haven't seen
er in so many years. Oh my gosh, tons of
texts coming in three one oh four three.
Speaker 4 (20:24):
Our first tingle. Our topic tingle is who randomly showed
up in your dream? This text says, my old dentist
was in my dream the other night, not my current dentist,
a dentist I haven't seen since two thousand and eight.
Another text said my elementary school principal. Then John's topic
tingle is if you were president, what would your first
act be? This text says the work day after the
(20:45):
Super Bowl is now a national holiday preach. And then
this text says every Costco gets a separate lane for
people who only came for the routissary chicken, which is
the best retissary chicken, And then vows, oh, I lovesty chick.
Speaker 2 (21:00):
Is it really good? So I've heard good things about it.
That's talking about the cost of that costco chicken too,
because that kind of like goes with the economy or something,
and they're a hat of the yeah.
Speaker 4 (21:07):
It's so good really, and then VAL's top of tingle,
are you keeping your weight lost drug a secret? This
text says yes, my family keeps asking how I lost weight.
I just keep saying portion control. And another text says,
I didn't hide it at first, but I got tired
of people having opinions about it.
Speaker 2 (21:21):
Portion control. Then you're sitting there at the picnic. That's
a big portion. Now you doing it there, that's a
big portion. Eight sixty six five four to four. MYFM,
you can text in a three one oh four to
three on John's presidential thing, the first act as a president.
I don't know who it was the other day, maybe Brian,
one of you. I'm not sure who it was, but
we're talking about you know how you always want like
that three day weekend or something like that. Is there
(21:41):
something to just going outside the box and saying in
steat up a three day weekend. We just take Wednesdays off.
See you work Monday, Tuesday, you're off Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
off Saturday Sunday. So you get a three day week.
But instead of doing the Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Sunday
or Saturday, Sunday, Monday or something. You jacked that bad
boy right in the week. What would that be like?
(22:01):
I don't know. I mean, you couldn't take a long
extended trip, so there wouldn't be that for just that
midweek reset Wednesday, and you'd never ever have to deal
with the guy going hump day on the radio. You know,
figure there may be something to that. You want to
reach out a part of the show three one o
four three three one oh four three. It was Valentine
in the Morning shouting out to Irvine this morning, got
(22:23):
the US men's soccer team practicing out there. What's up Ervine? Tim, Paula,
Jenny liked her a little laugh that she did do.
That's all right, that was really weird, though you did.
It's Tracula one O four to three. My family, it's
Valentine in the morning. Lady guy got poker face one
(22:49):
of four three My family, it is Valentine in the morning.
Six forty five. Hi, Beatrice, good morning. How are you today?
Speaker 6 (22:56):
Good morning?
Speaker 9 (22:56):
How are you guys?
Speaker 2 (22:57):
I'm great, We're doing pretty good. What's going on? Beatrice?
Speaker 6 (23:01):
Well, you know what I had Wednesdays off a long
time ago. I had an old job, and you're right.
It is a reset. It's it's perfect. I work on
Mondays Tuesdays. I was able to knock everything out and
then by Wednesday I was relaxed and comfortable.
Speaker 2 (23:21):
You're coming for Thursday, Friday, get it down us a weekend.
Not bad? This Wednesday off thing by ran for president
Wednesday off.
Speaker 6 (23:27):
Yeah, we were trying four day weeks.
Speaker 2 (23:31):
Oh gotcha?
Speaker 6 (23:32):
Yeah? And yeah, that was perfect it. I loved having it.
Speaker 2 (23:36):
So in the world of topic tingles, Jill had did
you have a dream about somebody recently? John says your
first act as president? And I said, are you hiding
your weight loss drug? Which one? Did you really want
to talk about?
Speaker 6 (23:47):
A dream about somewhe lately?
Speaker 2 (23:49):
Who was it.
Speaker 6 (23:52):
A friend of mine that passed away?
Speaker 2 (23:54):
Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that. That might have
been the reaching out to you in the dream, telling
you where they.
Speaker 8 (23:58):
Buried the mon.
Speaker 6 (24:01):
Well, I didn't get to say goodbye, and that really
bothered me. So when he came to the dream, he
was just laughing, and that was great.
Speaker 4 (24:16):
Gave you some comfort. They come to you and your
dreams when you're.
Speaker 2 (24:19):
Asleep, Thanks Beatrice. Do they really.
Speaker 4 (24:21):
Yeah, like Long Island medium Teresa Computo, who I love
No No No, and others too.
Speaker 2 (24:28):
I am a believer.
Speaker 4 (24:29):
I'm excited, Oh God, if it's real. If it's not,
I choose to believe it is real because it gives
me a little comfort. So if my aunt Donna comes in,
I'm just thinking like she's popping in saying hello.
Speaker 2 (24:42):
Hello, gotcha. I'd like to hear if my Aunt May
I never got to say goodbye to her. May I
got to rest your soul and not May. That was
one of those weird stories, you guys know, the story
about not May. No Well May. She passed away at
a senior living center in Boston, and my mom and
(25:02):
dad had gone up to visit Aunt May and stuff.
It's my mom's aunt. So my great aunt pick up
the visitors like ninety some one years old whatever, and
she's in the room, just sitting there in bed, and
they go in. They sit down next to her, and
they know she's getting towards the end, you know, but
she's not gone. So they sit down next to her
and they're hanging out fifteen twenty minutes just talking away.
Moms holding her hand, talking away to her and stuff
(25:23):
and then a nurse comes in and goes, oh, my god,
I'm so sorry. I didn't know you were here. I
would have come in obviously for this for what. Oh
after your aunt's passing. I'm sorry what? Yes, she's been
dead about two hours. What. We've been talking to her
for fifteen minutes. She was already gone, and my mom
and dad thought she was sleeping. So Mom's just sitting
there chatting away to her. Oh yeah, I thought that
(25:47):
was funny. I'm getting up. It's not funny.
Speaker 3 (25:51):
Maybe talk to to death is kind of funny, And.
Speaker 2 (25:55):
All these years later, it's kind of funny in my family,
and my mom and dad like being funny.
Speaker 3 (26:02):
Four three my FM.
Speaker 1 (26:04):
Here's what's coming up. An entertainment headline.
Speaker 4 (26:09):
Don't let you Laurie Cat you saying anything bad about
his show house, because he'll have some choice words for you.
I'll tell you what happened right up to.
Speaker 2 (26:16):
Traffic Every now and then you say something like that too,
and people are like, oh, my god, he's horrible. We
can't say that, And then you come back with oh,
they would have liked it. Oh they would have loved
that joke. Don't worry one O four three my FM
one O four three my FM Entertainment headlines.
Speaker 4 (26:32):
Former Saturday Night Live star Bowen Yang is talking about
why he left SNL in the middle of the season,
and he said it's because the creator, Moreen Michaels, he
convinced him to stay a little bit longer, talking about
how the cast had quote a lot of new kids,
a lot of people left, a lot of people coming in,
and he wanted him to kind of set an example
at least for the first half of the season and
(26:53):
thought it was very important that he stay, and bow
and Yang said it felt really good because it felt
like someone who had made so many things possible for
me being like, I need you. So that's why Bowen
Yang left in the middle of the season. And don't
let Hugh Laurie catch you saying something bad about his
show House, because he will come after you. There was
this woman, she's a freelance writer. She talked about how
(27:15):
she was starting to watch House for the first time
and she thought every episode had the same formula. So
she posted about it on x and said, a patient
has a mystery illness, House gets a diagnosis wrong, the
patient almost dies, House gets it wrongs again, and then
she talked about this formula that every single episode has
and then she said, eight seasons of this. Well, Hugh
Laurie saw the tweets and he didn't like it, and
(27:38):
he said, we actually tried a couple of episodes where
House gets it right the first time, but they were
only six minutes long and NBC wasn't happy. Then he
went on and on and on. Then he said that
Bach composed thirty variations of the same chord structure, and
Frida Callo painted fifty portraits of herself, and he said
the point is it's variations on a the Then he
(27:58):
ended it with LEAs I look forward to your first novel.
So he just went after this person who didn't like
his show House. I'm Jill with airy, timid headlines.
Speaker 2 (28:08):
The Battle of the Sex is coming up against when
A playing that. It's eight six six five four four

maybe you'd get like a better deal. They're playing here.
They're sold out and they're hot, and we've got those
tickets coming off right here on one of four to three. Myff,
you've landed on the station that takes you all the
way from the nineties.
Speaker 11 (29:12):

Speaker 2 (29:21):
Taylor Swift one of four three FM it's Valentine in
the Morning. Ticket prices can be insane, right, so this
NIXT stuff. The next lost last night, but the next
game in New York they'll probably end up winning that
series or up two to one. But we'll see what happens. Right,
NBA Finals versus San Antonio. So ticket prices there and
(29:42):
so insane in New York. Here's the story. You could
fly San Antonio, have two nights, hotels day, get a
pair of tickets for you and your friend, and it
would still be cheaper than one ticket, by one thousand
dollars cheaper than one ticket in New York as a
get me in ticket. Wow, that's the price difference. New
(30:05):
York is got insane. There are court sight seats in
New York the nixt game. They are going for two
hundred thousand dollars a piece to be well celebrities, to
be in star row. Oh it, he just said to
get one person to buy him and you're loaded. Imagine
that you own those tickets. Seeing tickets I got for

was there last night, he's always there. Is he paying fan?
Speaker 2 (30:35):
Yeah? Yeah, but he might have a deal ahead of time,
or maybe he purchased season tickets or something like that.
These are just like somebody has them. They go, oh,
I'm not gonna sit there. I and gonna sell them
now and make some money. Okay, that being said, I'm
coming through for you guys. I'm coming through nixt tickets

Speaker 6 (38:48):
Parents don't all you know, little teenage stuff.
Speaker 4 (38:53):
My story is I literally got caught sneaking back into
the house.

Speaker 7 (39:00):
Feel at my grandma.
Speaker 2 (39:02):
Yeah, when the house, is it required to use a
window or did most people use the door?
Speaker 9 (39:10):
Why I couldn't use the door?
Speaker 7 (39:11):
My parents locked the door.
Speaker 2 (39:13):
I wonder why. Okay, Yeah, so you snuck out the window?
And then how big of a drop from your window
to the ground. Was it something you could do or
is it a big drop? No, something I could do.
Speaker 7 (39:26):
It was like a big hop jump down.
Speaker 2 (39:29):
Yeah, my windows were off the ground. Like if I
had to come back in, I need somebody to boost
me up or something like that. Yeah, it was tough.
Speaker 4 (39:34):
Was grandma just kind of sitting there in the dark
room waiting for you? Or did she just happen to
stumble upon you coming back in?
Speaker 5 (39:40):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (39:40):
We lived next door, and I guess she heard.
Speaker 5 (39:44):
And it was four o'clock in the morning.
Speaker 7 (39:47):
I heard was Yeah, all I heard was what are
you doing?
Speaker 6 (39:50):
What are you doing? And I said, what are you doing?
Speaker 2 (39:55):
What are you throw back at her, what are you doing?
Were you doing? Branny? You got a guy over there?
Speaker 9 (40:04):
We we had like this minute stare of like and
then finally I just kind of convinced her. I was like,
I said, they forgot to leave the door open, so
I have to go through the window.
Speaker 2 (40:15):
It's still like one in the morning though, right, Yeah,

the house, where'd you go go?
Speaker 9 (41:15):
Okay, it's really bad. So you know, I La Vista.
I don't know if you guys know the area in
Santa Barbara. So we were from Ohi. We were only fifteen.
My friend, we swore each other to secrecy that we
would never say this. But we're old enough now to
not get in trouble. So okay, we were sneaking. We
took the scat bus in Ohi. There's a scat bus
that takes you all around. We wanted to go to
Isla Vista where like all these college kids partied. Okay,
(41:38):
that was our golden plan. We get there. We thought
it was bulletproof. We thought, okay, twelve pm is the
last scat bus to get back before curfew. Mom will
never know. But we get there. We were totally lost,
had no idea what we were doing. We end up
on State Street, Santa Barbara, just wandering. We kind of
had fun and we go back to the bus stop
and we realized we missed it and it was actually
(41:59):
arriving and at twelve oh oh, we had we were screwed.
And we were fifteen years old. We didn't know what
to do, and we went to the beach for a
little while, like freaking out, trying to get a plan.
We go back to State Street and we ran into
some random guy. I was wearing like a Playboy Buddy
T shirt and he's like, oh, are you a Playboy Bunny.
(42:19):
I'm like, yeah, well yes I am. And she's like
what really, and I was like yes, and I was like, okay,
this is our plan. So he stops and talks to us,
and I was like, listen, we need to get to
back to OHI Can you drive us? And he's like, well,
I don't have a car, but I could probably borrow
my parents' car. And I was like perfect, So go
get that. We'll wait right here. So he goes back.
He gets this shot out mini van and we He's oh,
(42:41):
I can't drive, and I said, okay, I'll do it.
So I get behind the wheel, terrified. It was like
pitch black, and we were taking the back roads. He's like,
I think she should take the back roads home, not
the freeway. I was like okay, okay. So we're taking
these twisty, windy roads home. We get to OHI we
make it home without my mom knowing, and we still
to this day kind of wonder what happened to him
because because he didn't.
Speaker 2 (43:03):
Get home, he couldn't drive. Now you stranded this dude
in O Hi and yeah it's really Sarah. How old
was that guy that he had the bar, mom and
dad's car?
Speaker 9 (43:14):
Okay, so you guys, have you ever seen that movie
I'll Be Home for Christmas with Jonathan Taylor Thomas. I
don't know if you've seen that movie. Yes, wait, okay,
he still remember the elf and he steals and then
the elf that he almost like the elf runs him
over and he's like the thief he steals, you know,
he has a band full of like stolen goods and
and then jas Sarah, yes.
Speaker 2 (43:34):
Sir, quick jump in here. How is that answering my question?
Speaker 9 (43:38):
He was, sorry, it's my story is going way too long. Okay,
I'm how old was he? Maybe in his twenties and.
Speaker 2 (43:46):
He couldn't drive and he had the bar mom and
Dad's car.
Speaker 9 (43:49):
He reminded me just of that guy, like he was
like him actually just like okay, that was my story.
Speaker 2 (43:57):
Sorry, Okay, all right, well we don't know what happened
to that guy. He probably is in jail or something.
Who knows.
Speaker 9 (44:02):
Hopefully he's still alive, and if you know, maybe we
ended in early for him. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (44:08):
Your god, fifteen years old, all this happening? All right, Sarah,
Glad you made it out of Ohio alive. Yeah, sounds
like those are crazy times back then.
Speaker 9 (44:16):
I know my daughter's three years away from that age,
and I'm like, I can't believe it. I have a
on her.
Speaker 2 (44:23):
Yeah, yeah, because you know what you did. Yeah right,
all right? Oh bye, take care, Sarah one a four
to three mi m. It is Valentine in the morning.
Some texts coming in. Sarah's got to be an eighties
nineties kids, something me and my friends would have done too.
(44:45):
The whole bus ride home or the old uh van
ride home to Ohi. Then the poor guy people are
texting how did he get home? That guy is stranded.
He ended up moving to Ohi himself. I stuck out,
went to a local church play hide and go seek
with my friends. The cops came. We all ran and
different directions. One of us got caught, but thankfully it
wasn't me. This is from Shaggy. He ended up getting
(45:06):
let go of community service. That was the last time
we went there. Wow, hanging out at a local church,
played hide and go seek and you get busted by
the cops. Right. We would sneak out to Rolling Pin Donuts.
It's local staple and camerio and the only thing open
after midnight. We'd sneak out the Carls Junior in the
Hollywood streets. Oh god, the Hollywood streets.
Speaker 4 (45:27):
Yeah, and you know, taking a trip with the bus
from fifteen years old like that, just that seems so
scary nowadays, and I feel like it was still scary
back then, but it seems like everybody, a lot.
Speaker 3 (45:39):
Of people the house and stuff.
Speaker 2 (45:41):

sisters around the fire pit the other night at graduation.

the time it got to like Jennet, by the time
it got to britt, your mom and dad were saying
that they just gave up.

three thousand free burritos. Somebody tell raf he loves as
Chipotle bulls. He does that, boy is a bit of
(57:43):
a Chapoto. Fifty three thousand free burritos. When can you
get them? How can you get them? Coming up?
Speaker 11 (57:50):
Three things you need to know From sedan's and SUV's
to full sized trucks, experience the incredible power and fuel
efficiency with Toyota Electrified.
Speaker 4 (57:58):
Three things you need to.
Speaker 2 (57:59):
Know right now, God, everybody's mad. We haven't taken Laura
to the outback steakhouse. Lord? Did people know about outback
in Australia? The outback steakhouse over here? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (58:10):
They rave about it.
Speaker 1 (58:11):
Hence why I'm a little salty.
Speaker 2 (58:14):
Is it truly like Australian or is that marketing or something?
Speaker 4 (58:17):
Apparently I've heard it's fantastic.
Speaker 2 (58:19):
So there's no outback steakhouse in Australia, So it's just
every foster actually like a side job there. Could you
imagine you as a hostess or server or whatever.
Speaker 4 (58:33):
Yeah, great, you'd be so good at it.

Speaker 4 (58:44):
You know, my good pal stopping with the Digity do
it could be whole experience.
Speaker 2 (58:48):
Oh my gosh, that's right, the Digery Do. So people
saying y'all got to take Lorda to outback today. Laura,
I love outback steakhouse. You gotta go. What is happening?
Why are you guys being so mean to this digital girl?
Take to outback steakhouse. The FIFA World Cup is headed
to la and it's bringing a massive economic boost to California,
That's what they're saying. La alone is expected to generate
about six hundred million dollars money potholes will that fix
(59:12):
around one hundred and eighty thousand visitors are expected to
flood the city spend money on hotels, restaurants, transportation, entertainment.
There are eight matches at Sofi Stadium in Englewood over
the six week tournament. Chipotle giving away fifty three thousand
free burritos to celebrate the NBA Finals. Last night, the
Spurs beat the Nicks one fifteen to one eleven, which
(59:33):
means New York leads to series two games and one.
After the final game of the series, Chipotle will post
a code on X and the first fifty three thousand
people to text it, we'll receive a coupon for free burrito.
Is Chippotle, like I said, national all over the entire
country or just yeah it is.
Speaker 3 (59:48):
It's national.
Speaker 2 (59:49):
Oh so a lot of people gonna go for that. Yeah,
but I'm gonna be first.
Speaker 4 (59:52):
Man.
Speaker 3 (59:52):
I already got my alarm set on my tweets.
Speaker 2 (59:55):
All right, important stuff in your life everyone, Okay? And
what's trending music? Job?
Speaker 3 (01:00:00):
Some clips of now Horne have been going viral over
the weekend. A lot of now fans are eating this week.
He just dropped an album on Friday called Dinner Party,
and then he hit a festival over the weekend where
he slid some one direction songs into his set, including
a fan favorite, steal My Girl.
Speaker 2 (01:00:19):
Yes he does this and people go nuts.
Speaker 4 (01:00:23):
I love when they do all of them.
Speaker 8 (01:00:25):
It's so sweet.
Speaker 2 (01:00:27):
Was this the radio one or whoever it is?
Speaker 3 (01:00:30):
The BBC plays over there the very sound.
Speaker 2 (01:00:32):
Okay, because he was for some English morning show or
something too. Oh really, yeah, that's pretty cool.
Speaker 3 (01:00:36):
Yeah, this happened, favorite one right now and a lot
of people are noting that. He just sounds so good
older being able to belt that kind of stuff. Just
cool to see the difference in his voice there. So
if you want to see more, we'll link it on
our socials at Valentine in the morning. I'm Jockamuci. That's
what's training in music.
Speaker 2 (01:00:53):
God, there's him doing his part and then Alice DJ.
I really like that one direction song should have played?
Speaker 4 (01:01:03):
That?
Speaker 2 (01:01:04):
Should we play one direction song? John Pete not being
in town, Yes, but Jill will decide which one because
you're a big one D fan.
Speaker 4 (01:01:11):
But that's such pressure.
Speaker 2 (01:01:13):
Well, you have three minutes and forty seconds and a
little bit more time to come up with something. Kimuchi's
court in the case of the graduation gap year, can
a kid do that? Coming up next? What a four
to three? My family, it is Valentine in the morning.
(01:01:34):
Have you decided you're still thinking on your one D song?
Speaker 4 (01:01:36):
I'm still thinking my favorite one direction song of all time,
A story of my life, Story of my life. But
I do love steal my girl. Okay, since I was
singing that, it seems appropriate.
Speaker 2 (01:01:49):
Okay, keep thinking, keep thinking. We're going to launch into
Kimuchi's court. We got Bridgeston on trial with us today.
He says, Hey, guys, I just graduated high school.
Speaker 3 (01:01:59):
And I've been saving money for years from my part
time job babysitting birthdays, basically everything, and I've been responsible
with it. I really want to use all my savings
to take a gap year before college and travel. Nothing crazy, luxurious,
just some backpacking, having some fun, seeing some different places,
figuring myself out a little bit before jumping straight into
school again. Thing is, my parents hate this idea. They
(01:02:21):
say if I take a year off, I'm gonna lose
some momentum, never take college seriously. And they also think
spending all my savings on this travel is irresponsible. So
they said, if I choose to spend my savings instead
of traveling or instead of starting school. They won't help
me pay for college because they don't want to support
a bad decision. And they're firm on this, but I
feel like they're using money to control my choices. Are
my parents being jerks for holding my college financial support
(01:02:43):
over my head?
Speaker 2 (01:02:46):
All right to his mom and dad shot at it's
gonna go by fast. Life is going by fast. If
he's not ready for college, you don't want to force
him into college. Some kids are not going in the college.
A lot of kids, very smartly, are looking at trade schools.
Some kids are looking at options that aren't involving higher education.
(01:03:08):
They're going to the job market. Whatever it is that's
right for you is right for you. Life is way
too short to be pigeonholed into something you're not ready
for something like that. And I do know kids it
took gap years. Would I be curious if Colin took
a gap year and did something. One of his friends
is taking a gap year and just gonna go play
soccer in Europe, And that option was there for Colin too.
There's a place in London that wanted him to go
(01:03:29):
there as well, and he chose his path, and that's
his path. The kids are on their path. We're not
on their path. We're there to support them. Now, will
I use that family credit card plan as a way
to make sure that he visits and calls and texts
his dad?
Speaker 6 (01:03:48):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (01:03:48):
Yes, that's appropriate.
Speaker 4 (01:03:50):
Like you tell him he can use it if he
comes home like that type of st.
Speaker 2 (01:03:54):
I put money into his account for love. I say,
if you love me, I'll put one hundred bucks in
your account.
Speaker 5 (01:04:00):
I love you, love you, love me?
Speaker 2 (01:04:02):
Plug me and I do what Lenlani's not looking so
she doesn't see it. Who do you love more? Bundy?
You'r the hundred bugs, get a hundred my bucket. That's
the plan anyway. But yeah, I mean, if the kid's
not ready and he saved this money, and why not
have the adventure of a lifetime. Because that stuff, it's
not always available to you as you get older and stuff,
certain responsibilities come to play in family life and commitments
(01:04:23):
and work commitments and stuff. You don't always have those options.
Maybe you should, but you don't always have those options.
I'm in favor of the kid doing something you know, responsible, respectable,
that's good for him. What do you think?
Speaker 4 (01:04:33):
This might surprise you? But I'm on the kid's side
as well. I feel like if he was this opportunity
was taken away from him, he's going to be so
angry and he's.
Speaker 2 (01:04:41):
Going to push back.
Speaker 4 (01:04:42):
Yeah, and that might lead to some friction between the
parents and him, and you know, he might not do
as well in school that he would want to. Is
not putting in the effort because he wants to be
somewhere else. I agree with with him.
Speaker 3 (01:04:55):
I think I disagree with the parent's choice, but it's
their money. Unfortunately, that's the law, period, the law.
Speaker 4 (01:05:04):
That's what you are making that you're making this.
Speaker 2 (01:05:08):
Yeah, that's the parents are saying, we're not going to
pay for college and be taking gap years.
Speaker 6 (01:05:15):
That what it is.
Speaker 2 (01:05:16):
That's that's what you're saying. All right, we're not going
to pay for college. Take gap here. Yeah. I mean,
well then you end up getting student loans I suppose,
but you don't want to be forced into that. I
think they got to come around and see that what's
best for the kid. If a child's not ready for college,
if they don't want that, they're not ready for it,
forcing on them can be problematic. Now, this kid shouldn't
be just party animal looking to go to a visa
(01:05:36):
and just rave or something, you know not.
Speaker 3 (01:05:38):
But if that's his finding himself, you know, I think
you should be able to take that year. But if
the parents are using their money and you don't want
to pay for it yourself, sorry, it's their rules.
Speaker 2 (01:05:46):
You got to bude by them. But the parents aren't
paying for his trip. He's got his own money for
the trip, right, He's just saying for when I come
back for college, I'd like you to pay for college
for help out.
Speaker 3 (01:05:54):
So like, of course that would be nice, but like,
if your parents are saying, no, we're trying to pay
for it. Only if you go now, then guess what
man the US unless you want to pay for it.
Speaker 12 (01:06:01):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:06:01):
This seems very demanding the parents it is, but they
get the right to do that. So I wonder this
is probably wrong and say so, maybe I shouldn't.
Speaker 4 (01:06:10):
Say it should be okay, change.
Speaker 2 (01:06:13):
What he's changing. No, I've noticed that certain cultures are
more demanding of children in that respect than other cultures,
and this might be one of those cultures. Can you
ask them what their ethnicity is?
Speaker 3 (01:06:26):
Gotten right back, let me get back to you on that.
Speaker 2 (01:06:28):
The Irish culture be like god a drink. I don't
know all right, Maybe I should have said that eight
sixty six, five four four My fam texting three one
oh four three and Jill's one Direction song coming up next.
Speaker 8 (01:06:40):
Text Valentine in the morning at three one oh four three.
Speaker 2 (01:06:43):
Eight thirty seven The weather today sunny tips seventies to
mid eighties, sixty seven, boil Heights sixty eight, Anaheim, Jill's
Got the Entertiment headlines coming up.
Speaker 4 (01:06:51):
Amazon is developing a live action series based on an
eighties cartoon, I'll tell you which one coming up at
eight fifty.
Speaker 2 (01:06:58):
Hey, guys, I agree with the kid because I in
that situation. My parents pushed me into college with no choice.
I ended up going to university right away. But then
I ended up dropping out halfway through because I was
so miserable being there. After, I moved back home and
went right into the workforce full time. I enjoyed myself.
Now years later, I am thirty one, and I am
back in school because I feel now more ready to
(01:07:18):
be in college, and I've been enjoying my classes so far.
I think so I think you should take the time
to travel not being pushed into college because there could
be consequences down the road. This one says study abroad
semester or year long. Community college is offer one semester
and four years offer one year. I did many freshmen
do that great opportunity to earn credits in the best
of both worlds. Yeah, there is that, Like even at
(01:07:42):
college school. I think it is second year in sophomore
and it's a chance to study abroad and kids go
to some sister type school in Europe somewhere or something.
Oh yeah, I have an experience that we didn't have
as kids. If you wanted that as a kid, you
had to take that gap year, go backpacking through Europe
and stay a bunch of hostels. And then they made
that movie like that. That was a scary movie, right
(01:08:03):
eight sixty six five four for my them, Casey, good morning,
you got to press the button? Hi Casey.
Speaker 5 (01:08:13):
Hello?
Speaker 2 (01:08:14):
What do you think?
Speaker 6 (01:08:15):
Hi?
Speaker 5 (01:08:16):
Hig money? Everyone? So I just think the family and
their child can the team can actually meet somewhere in
the middle and maybe take the summer or like six
months off. That way, the child, you know, half some
time off, gets to travel. And this is from me
coming from like always taking summer classes. I never really
took a break from an undergrad and I kind of
(01:08:38):
regret not taking time to travel. So, you know, life
is short, enjoy a little bit.
Speaker 3 (01:08:43):
Can he just take the summer to travel though, so
he doesn't have to take the full semester. Go off
for two to three months, get what you can, and
then start school. See your parents can pay for it.
Speaker 5 (01:08:52):
Yeah, I know. I think I think maybe he's thinking, like, oh,
the summer dreading like three months enough, but definitely even
too much. It's something to start and go from there.
Speaker 2 (01:09:00):
It feels like a compromise, right, But is that pressure
from the parents saying, hey, if you don't go to
college's fall, we're not paying for it. But if the
kid's not ready, maybe it's not emotionally ready either. Maybe
it's not just a question of you might be hiding
behind that I want to take a trip thing. Some
kids aren't ready to be in that school. And he's
been going to school for what, you know, sixteen years
whatever it is. It's a long time in school, and
(01:09:20):
it's kids now. School nowadays is harder, I think for
a lot of kids than it was during my time.
Speaker 3 (01:09:26):
I don't know, man, you guys didn't really have calculators
in the same way we start brain and stuff.
Speaker 2 (01:09:31):
Yeah, you shouldn't use AI, but there's a lot more
pressure from watching Colin trying to get into colleges and
stuff and deciding your fate and the way colleges work.
Now with all the deferments and all the wait list
and everything else, that wasn't there for me. It was
two schools is Yukon in the Coast Guard Academy. That
was it. You know, there was no big deal. There
was no waiting and reading those emails and stuff like that.
(01:09:54):
You guys go through. I think it's harder with the
aps and everything else.
Speaker 4 (01:09:57):
This is an interesting take. This tech says, I actually
resent my parents for not forcing me to go to
school a year off, and I resent them now.
Speaker 2 (01:10:06):
Oh okay, well case, thanks for calling in. How old
are you now?
Speaker 5 (01:10:10):
I'm thirty three and I'm in grad school now, so
good for you.
Speaker 2 (01:10:14):
What are you studying in grad school?
Speaker 5 (01:10:16):
Social work?
Speaker 2 (01:10:17):
Oh fantastic, what a great endeavor. Thanks for doing that.
Speaker 3 (01:10:21):
Thank you.
Speaker 5 (01:10:21):
Have a good morning everyone too.
Speaker 2 (01:10:23):
By bye. You picked your song?
Speaker 6 (01:10:25):
I did?
Speaker 2 (01:10:28):
What an iconic opening this song? Who's the main singer on.
Speaker 6 (01:10:35):
This m.
Speaker 4 (01:10:38):
They all kind of take turns. Yeah, it's pretty spread out.
Speaker 2 (01:10:43):
We felt like a one direction banger. Today? Is there
a boss out of town? This is steel my girl queen?
This week? What six steek we walked the same day?
See what direction steal my girl? One O four three,
My Ben, It's Valentine in the morning banger right there.
(01:11:06):
Eight forty four Kimuci's court underway. If you guys want
to reach out, go ahead. Eight sixty six five four

Speaker 3 (01:11:12):
Brixtion wants to take a little gap year and his
parents are saying, if you want us to pay for college,
You're going straight to college.
Speaker 2 (01:11:17):
No gap year.
Speaker 1 (01:11:17):
Who's one O four to three my FM.
Speaker 2 (01:11:20):
Here's what's coming up.
Speaker 1 (01:11:21):
In entertainment headlines.
Speaker 4 (01:11:23):
Jennifer Lopez has revealed she was supposed to be a
part of an iconic MTV VMA's performance I'll tell you
which one right.
Speaker 11 (01:11:32):
After traveling introducing Jelly Dreamscapes at the Aquarium of the Pacific,
an immersive experience featuring hundreds of mesmerizing seed Jelly's one.
Speaker 1 (01:11:41):
O four to three my FM. Entertainment headlines.
Speaker 4 (01:11:46):
We got the live action gem in the Holograms film
back in twenty fifteen, and now Amazon is developing a
live action gem In the Holograms series based on the
eighties cartoon. I grew up in the nineties and I
love this cartoon. It was still big in the nineties,
and I know that there's such a following right now.
Still there's comic cons and there's like conventions specifically for
(01:12:09):
gem In the Holograms, And now we are getting a
live action series based on the eighties cartoon. And Jennifer
Lopez says she could have been a part of a
very epic moment at the MTV Video Music Awards. Originally
it was going to be Jennifer Lopez, Madonna and Britney Spears.
Who did that?
Speaker 8 (01:12:31):
You know?
Speaker 3 (01:12:32):
And she's.
Speaker 4 (01:12:35):
She said that she was worried, said she was working
on the movie show We Dance at the time. They
just wouldn't let her out of the movie. She even
went to Madonna's house to practice with Brittany and Madonna. Ultimately,
Christina Aguilera was the one who came out with them.
But it was originally supposed to be Jennifer Lopez. I
had no idea, yeah, either, I'm Jill with Aaron Tim.
Speaker 2 (01:12:53):
Headlines all right, eight fifty one on a four to
three MIFM Kimuci's court John a little rest.
Speaker 3 (01:12:57):
Yeah, Brickson wants to take a little gap year. He
just graduated high school. But his parents are paying for college,
so they said, if you want us to pay for college,
you cannot take that gap year.
Speaker 2 (01:13:05):
You got to go straight to school. Okay, Joe, what
do you think.
Speaker 8 (01:13:08):
I it will backfire spectacularly.
Speaker 1 (01:13:12):
It with me.
Speaker 8 (01:13:12):
My parents said they were going to cut me off
and they were going to take away my car, and
I still went. I did some college when I got back,
and we live on opposite coast and have little relationship.
Speaker 2 (01:13:24):
Oh that sticks, dude. No, Yeah, especially if you're a
good kid and they're holding us over you. It's not
like he's been a bad kid and they're trying to
correct some misbehaviors or something. But you're a decent kid
and you're just not ready for college. You want to
take a gap year, and if the parents are forcing
you to go, Yeah, I can see how it could backfire.
I could see it.
Speaker 7 (01:13:40):
Both.
Speaker 8 (01:13:41):
My parents are highly educated and they believe that education
was the only way to.
Speaker 7 (01:13:46):
Go doctor and a professor, and I chose not.
Speaker 3 (01:13:49):
To pursue any of those.
Speaker 2 (01:13:51):
What do you do for a living now?
Speaker 4 (01:13:52):
I do.
Speaker 7 (01:13:53):
I do contracts, technology, contracts for a living.
Speaker 2 (01:13:56):
Okay, are you happy? I'm very happy. Yeah.
Speaker 7 (01:13:59):
Both both of me and my spouse make very good money.
We have two kids, multiple properties. We live in a
very expensive county.
Speaker 2 (01:14:07):
Okay, well that's any county in California.
Speaker 7 (01:14:11):
Well, well, Orange County is particularly.
Speaker 2 (01:14:16):
You're rich? Are you in like South OC? I am? Okay?
Were you interviewed for the Real Housewives? Was your wife's
gonna be on there? My husband wanted to be Oh,
your husband wanted to be Wow, you are so rich?
Gay in Orange County is very rich? Did I guess?
Speaker 7 (01:14:35):
I don't know. I haven't seen any other gays down here,
so maybe you haven't.
Speaker 2 (01:14:39):
What's going on in OC? What? Never mind? All right, Joe,
appreciate the call, my man. You take care, Okay, dude,
thanks bab happy pride you do? Oh my god, what
(01:15:05):
is going on here? I think that's him looking at
my kid. He's on a senior trip with some friends
and adults too, thank goodness, and they're in Mexico. And
I think he just posted a picture of himself sitting
on top of a roof. What is going on? It does?
I zoomed in had red hair at first, but looks
(01:15:26):
like a hat. Don't even look, just close your eyes. Yeah,
look the other way. He's gonna be right. You're gonna
have to do a lot of that in the coming years. Yeah, yeah,
thank you, thank you. Oh maybe it's not too late
for him to become a priest, is it? You think so? Like?
(01:15:46):
I think, like Godd said, have to my wife, God
forbid in any form. I think being a priest might
be a cool deal. I might do it. Oh really,
I'm very good at giving sermons.
Speaker 4 (01:15:58):
Yes, that's true.
Speaker 2 (01:16:00):
I like to sing. Yeah, you get up there and like,
oh my Lord, Lord.
Speaker 6 (01:16:07):
Day.
Speaker 2 (01:16:09):
Yeah, it be kind of fun. I'd be a good priest.
Speaker 4 (01:16:11):
Can still Valentine in the morning?
Speaker 2 (01:16:14):
Yes, and then go do blessed you with my presence?
Already that is true, So why not bless all of
la at the same time?
Speaker 4 (01:16:20):
Okay, all right, we support it.
Speaker 2 (01:16:22):
Really, because that would mean something would have to happen
to Hey.
Speaker 4 (01:16:25):
You said it.
Speaker 2 (01:16:26):
It seems like you're supporting it, though.
Speaker 4 (01:16:27):
What's going on?
Speaker 2 (01:16:29):
I don't know what's happening. Kids on the roof. I'm
becoming a priest, all right. It's one of four three

race for mayor of La She overtook former reality TV
star Spencer Pratt as digital votes were counted from the
June's second primary, wheremand will face in comment mayor Karen
Bass in November. So it's going to start getting warmer
over the next few days. By tomorrow, some areas could
reach triple digits. The deserts and inland valleys will see
(01:17:32):
the hottest tempts. A heat advisory could be issued in
places like Santa Creda in the San Fernetta Valley. The
warm pattern expected to continue to the weekend, attempts running
about ten degrees above normal. John was training in music.
Speaker 3 (01:17:43):

Speaker 4 (01:18:11):
One of four three my FM. It's Valentine in the morning.
I feel like I have to apologize to everybody in
the studio for the obscene noises my stomach has been
making all morning long. I don't know what's going on,
but it.
Speaker 3 (01:18:24):
Sounded like I've been hearing them all right.
Speaker 4 (01:18:27):
It sounds like there's a monster.
Speaker 3 (01:18:28):
Not to make a deal of it, but every time
I'm like, and it's coming.
Speaker 4 (01:18:31):
From a new place every time, Like sometimes right side
sometimes down low, sometimes lower back. I don't know, it's
the weird.
Speaker 1 (01:18:44):
No, it has nothing to do with that.
Speaker 4 (01:18:47):
It's all my stomach.
Speaker 2 (01:18:51):
No, would you like to speak to your.
Speaker 4 (01:18:55):

Well it's got a voice today. It's been doing the
y Boys choir today, choir over there.
Speaker 4 (01:19:13):

Speaker 2 (01:19:15):
Was sitting here and all of a sudden I heard.
Speaker 4 (01:19:21):
Our stomachs gurggle all morning long. But today, for some reason, my.
Speaker 2 (01:19:26):
Stomach is fine. Stomach never heard. I'm not a big
stomach gir. Okay, so I'm not being dragged into the
acids that are out of control in your stomach or something.
I don't let you guys put in there. Okay, Well
we can put a mic on it tomorrow if it's
still doing it.
Speaker 6 (01:19:45):
You know.
Speaker 4 (01:19:45):
I think it sees pants. I think because there's so
day No, I I wear them often, but they're.
Speaker 2 (01:19:54):
So high high waisted fans, so like everything's.
Speaker 4 (01:19:56):

Speaker 4 (01:20:06):
Oh I'm hungry. You know, it's just a lot going on.
I'm sorry.
Speaker 2 (01:20:12):
Well, this a little walk in the park. It's not
a lot of walking in the park right now talking
about your colon you're large and testing, or your tomb
tum or whatever.
Speaker 4 (01:20:24):
I was just giving an apology. Were good about it
right there? You know.
Speaker 2 (01:20:28):
Something was getting your problems. I didn't hear anything. I
didn't need an apology. Good.
Speaker 13 (01:20:32):
I mean, even Laura, she's over there on the country
that you go whoa a lot of times she's very
quiet about him.
Speaker 2 (01:20:37):
But I'm sorry, you got some problems going on down there.
Do you have any clue or something? Maybe no, any lactose,
no nothing, no dairy huh. All right, well, thank you
for listening to our show. Again, I'm not hearing it.
Speaker 4 (01:20:58):
Okay, good, Well, that's good.
Speaker 2 (01:21:00):
All right. So let's just get into the entertainment headlines.
We'll forget this ever happen.
Speaker 1 (01:21:04):
Sorry, every summing my sm entertainment headlines.
Speaker 4 (01:21:08):
They met on the set of Wicked dated for almost
three years, and now there are reports that Ariana Grande
and Ethan Slater have broken up. They said it's amicable.
They gave lots of time and careful consideration and decide
to go their separate ways. They are still friends and
very supportive of one another. This is coming from a
source close to Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater, and they
(01:21:29):
said they've been quietly broken up for several months. And
tonight on television, we got Game four of the Stanley
Cup Finals on ABC. Also America's Got Talent the Auditions
over on NBC, the fourth season finale of Farmer Wants
a Wife on Fox, and then also Bear Girls is
Running Wild on Fox with Coleman Domingo. I'm Jill there

Speaker 6 (01:22:27):
All right?
Speaker 2 (01:22:27):
Well, sorry, what do you think it might be?
Speaker 4 (01:22:29):
I don't know, to be honest, who knows with me.
It's always something. But you know, I'm not gonna let
it stop me to go out there and face the word.
Speaker 2 (01:22:39):
Maybe stay inside, Jill, thank you for you show.
Speaker 4 (01:22:43):
