Toby and Chili Mornings on Demand onninety seven point one. Why shut out,
Chillie. I know this happens foryou probably a lot more often than
not. But this is a littlething that's bringing me some joy, that's
making me feel good. Before fiveam this morning. Last night, before
I went to bed, my daughterKyla, who's home for the summer,
who is twenty, and I hada moment and I said to her,
(00:22):
I love you. I just wantyou to know I'm going to bed.
I love you too, Dad.And it was like, you know,
it actually kind of resonated because it'sthe first time in a minute that I've
told my kid, like sincerely beforeI went to bed. Hey, no
matter what today's been like to tomorrow'sgoing to bring what it brings, I
(00:42):
love you. She's like, Ilove you too. It's just I don't
know what it is. I thinkthe older we get, the more it
means something. You know. Yeah. I think the older the kids get,
the less they say it. Yeah, that's it. Yeah, you
know that's Chili functioning better than Iam on a Monday morning with no words.
But do you know what I mean? Like when my daughter was your
(01:03):
son's age, it was something often, Oh, yes, I love you
and I love you's back. Yes, unsolicited I love you come out of
my ten year old's mouth all thetime, and I know that those days
are numbered, But then they comeback. That's always what people say.
It's like they go through that phaseof like not wanting to talk to you
or whatever, and then they eventuallycome back and appreciate you or they tell
(01:25):
you I love you when they wantsomething, preferably money deposited to their account
so they can go do whatever. But anyways, it's little things. How
was your weekend? Good? It'sgood. We had a nice pool party
at one of Don's friend's home.My husband, who is not the most
social guy unless he's around his ownfriends, which is a really cool thing
to see because he's mister talkative aroundhis people. Right, Well, you
(01:46):
look like you got a little bitof sun this weekend. Oh, that's
just my Jurgen's glow on my face. Oh is that what that is?
Can I have some of that tolevel out this misglow tan on my face?
God? Well, that's good tohear that you had a good weekend.
Hopefully that pull party was on Saturday, because that was a brilliant day.
It was really nice, so beautiful. Well, let's get into a
(02:06):
brand new week show. We wereToby and Chili in the morning. It's

want pain? Well we'll discuss comingup. It was Chili's birthday weekend here
at ninety seven point one wash CHEFMwhere Toby and Chili in the morning and
Friday before we left Chili, youwere in route to go get a massage
(02:30):
and we had had like a littlesidebar about what constitutes a good massage.
So how is the massage? Wasit good? And is there anything we
need to recap as you get intothis story. Okay, it was just
okay, And this is partly myfault. So I only get a massage
like once a year, which isclearly not enough. But when you go
(02:52):
you're usually asked about pressure and howmuch pressure you want and if you want
the masseuse to really work out somenotts they got it. It's gonna hurt,
Like a massage is not gonna feelrelaxing. Yeah, yeah, no,
that's fair. I've had really goodmassages, and the ones that do
the job are the ones that don'tnecessarily feel good in the moment. But
because it was my birthday and Iwanted to chill, I went the relax
(03:14):
route. And that was a mistakereally, because when I got up off
that table, I felt okay, and then I ran errands. I went
grocery shopping. Yeah, the lastthing you should be doing after a really
good massage is running to all dYes, I'm just you know, I'm
just being here, Sert your favoritegrocery store here. But the truth is
(03:36):
you should be just like Putty exactly, and sore. You should, in
theory be sore because they really workedout some kinks in your neck, in
your back. No, I'm stillhere today with the same nuts in my
neck. Well, that means you'vegot time before you go on your cruise
to either schedule one or get onein or I'd say get one in on
the cruise. But then the lastthing, if it's a good massage,
(03:58):
you're gonna want on the cruises tobe around your husband in son. Yeah.
No, but my husband did giftme, as he does every year
for my birthday. Another gift cardto a different place, so I'll try
I'll try a different place for thenext massage. But no, I mean
yeah, if you want the relaxingroute, don't expect your nods to be
worked out. Yeah. In themeantime, if anybody is a massuse and
wants to come to the studio withyour chair for massage, will gladly accept
(04:23):
it and let you in. Eightsixty six nine three sixty one is the

this story. There's a restaurant inMissouri that won't allow anyone under a certain
age. Guys under a certain age, ladies under a certain age, the

to hear what you think about thisat eight six six ninety two, seven

There's a restaurant that's implementing an ageminimum rule some people find a controversial.
Basically long story short restaurant Missouri isbanning diners under thirty and thirty five
(09:48):
years to create a more resort likeenvironment. Yeah, more sophisticated crowd.
So you can't as a woman, you can't be under thirty and as a
man, you can't be under thirtyfive. What's interesting is they've somehow come
up with this arbitrary age of sophistication. Like, I know plenty of thirty
something and forty something year olds thatare not mature enough to tipy considered sophisticated.
(10:13):
How does that equate to somebody whomight be a fifty year old guy
dating a twenty nine year old woman. Leonardo DiCaprio would never be allowed in
this restaurant. No, that's right, he's gonna have to go somewhere else,
too bad. So sad, yourlady friend is too young and apparently
not sophisticated, and I just don'tunderstand that. It doesn't make any sense
to me. There are probably somemore mature audiences that don't like the twenty
(10:39):
something year olds coming in and beingraucous, so to speak. So I
get it, but I just don'tknow that every twenty something year old acts
that way. But hey, it'sthis guy's restaurant. He can do whatever
the heck you want here. Yeah, my gold my rules. I personally
don't want to see a guy tryingto say we don't need any of these
twenty something quote gold diggers end ofquote who come in there with much older
(11:00):
guys because we don't know their situation. You know, I go eat there,
would do you think I passed asophistication test. I just want to
see what the menu has on it, and then we'll determine how sophisticated I
want to act about eating at thatestablishment. Right Helby M. Chilli's nearly

fulfilling about that as well. Imean, this was a whole team effort.

mile citywide cycling event, and thenthe helmets were donated by Bell Brand,
and then they had a bunch ofother partners as well. Yep, and
