ship. You better make sure thatyou've got enough activities planned to keep your
kids entertained. Now, typically there'splenty of things to do. Yeah,
what happened? It rained literally everyday? Okay, okay, which again,
who cares? You want a cruiseship? You gotta have fun?
Well for our sun. His inabilityto play in the pool, or go
(27:04):
on the water slide on the ship, or ride the gold cart on the
deck, it completely derailed everything.His expectations weren't met and in his mind,
he can't pivot at like you know, you and I might be able
to and do something else. Andso there were a lot of meltdowns.
(27:25):
There were a lot of emotional deregulationhappening, and of course that brought the
rest of the room down. Myhusband and I were like, okay,
never again. We needed to testbecause how else would we know whether he's
able to use his coping mechanisms toreally get through those moments. And it
became very clear on day two thatDonato is just not ready. And two
you took the train. He didn'teven like the train getting to New York
(27:49):
to the port so you could hopon the boat. Well about that it
was delayed an hour? Well,I mean these things happened. Sometimes exactly
these things happen doesn't compute right becausehe in his world it didn't happen the
way he wanted or needed them tohappen, and so it just didn't work
out. Unfortunate. But also nowthat we know, we just plan accordingly
(28:15):
until he's ready, and that maybeI don't know, a decade from now,
a year from well, I meanno, but don't send me here
