good before five this morning because injust today I'll be on my way to
the airport to fly to see myfamily for a few days. Kind of
unplug and enjoy this country called Americaand it's birthday. It's ninety seven point
one wash CHEFM. I love shortweeks for a reason. All you have

(00:21):
to do is get through the shortnessof the weekend. You're good to go.
But I walk into the studio hereat ninety seven point one wash CHEFM,
the doors propped open and Chili's wearinga mask. I take it you're
not feeling so good before five am, or or maybe you're fine and something
else is up. What's going on? I feel fine, But apparently last

(00:42):
week when I woke up on Wednesdayor Thursday morning on the ship and held
congestion, it wasn't just congestion,it was the VID and I passed said
VID onto my child and husband. Now did you test while you're on that
boat, because maybe you didn't havethe COVID, maybe you had like a
just a cold, like a cold, because like that happens when I travel

(01:03):
sometimes I just get a little rundown and then I'm like, I get
like the sniffles, but then itjust passes. Yeah, it just passed.
So I didn't test, right,But well, you keep an eye
on that. Oh yeah, I'mkeeping an eye on it. Thankfully,
everybody's fine and managing with some dayquill. But because that whole thing's still
a thing. Oh Toby, you'regoing to get some people riled up.

(01:26):
It is still a thing. It'sstill a thing. I mean it,
did you know. Yes, there'svaccines, Yes, there's other things,
but it's still kind of a thing, and you still just need to be
aware of it. So wash yourhands, washy washy. You can wear
a mask if you're taking a cruise. You know the washy washy song.
Yes, now, yes, washyour hands on that cruise ship. If

(01:47):
you're going on a cruise. Bythe way, you know that that cruise
ship is a self contained thing.Oh yes, and you go into it
knowing you're probably gonna come out ofit with a little some something. Well,
at least you're here, even thoughthe door open and there's masks flying
around. Could be a lot worse. You could have like one hundred and
four degree fever. Yes, layingon your back in bed. No,

(02:08):
always look at the bright side oflife. Yes, And the laundry is
done, so I'm very happy.See, there's always something to be thankful
for. Before five am, Tobyand Chilly in the morning. It's ninety
seven point one WASHFM coming up ina few minutes. So parents obviously keep

your kids childhood at home? There'sa survey out that says parents are keeping
sentimental keepsakes right, even when thekids become adults, could be anything.
What would it be for you chilling? Uh, Well, the typical baby's

(03:15):
teeth, the clothes he wore whenwe brought him home from the hospital.
But maybe the most unusual thing wouldbe the photo of the embryo that he
once was right before implant during theIVF process. It's a little bubble.
Yes, it's somewhere in a keepsakebox. What about with you play with

(03:37):
you and your daughter? Yeah,no, I've got the baby teeth,
and I've got the outfits she camehome in. But I think one of
the things that I like that Idon't even know if she knows that I
have them or not. All ofthe yearbooks from like you know, preschool
and then elementary school and middle school. I've got those, and so they're
just kind of fun to go,like take a look at every now and

(03:59):
then in wal down memory lane andremember all the things that it happened that
I could have done better, youknow, time out. Let's be honest,
I'm being serious all of us here. How often are we really going
through these mementos and things, Becausewhen you think about it, it's not
that often, and our kids wantnothing to do with them when they become
adults. I remember my mom tryingto give me all my old stuff.

(04:23):
I'm like, I don't want this. Why do we even keep it?
But sometimes it's not just about thekids. Sometimes it's about us as parents.
That's what I'm saying, trying tomaintain these moments. When are we
maintaining the moments? When are yougoing through all over oil? I did
this weekend, and then I sawthe bumper sticker fall out that said she
made the honor roll at middle school. And she wrote on the back of
it that it's because she got alla's And I was like, oh,

(04:45):
I remember, like it was yesterday. Yeah, all right. Well maybe
I'm the only one that doesn't usuallygo through those old things. I have
them one day maybe if I feellike going through them. There photos and
things like that. No, no, no, photos are different. I'm
not talking photos. Hmmm. Well, what do you keep from your little
one? Could be anything? Tellus a good story. We always love

better with this quote comes to usfrom the feed on Instagram called that motivation

(05:50):
Underscore Monday, and they said, you never know how strong you are until
being strong is your only choice. You never know how strong you are until
being strong is your only choice. You might think you're coming from a position
of strength, you might think you'reat the top of the mountain. The
truth of the matter is is that'snot strength. That's a perception. And

(06:12):
then the mountain crumbles, and thenyour only choice is to be strong.
So let me ask you strength,Yes, or no. Do you have
it in you to stay strong evenif that is your only choice, Think
about that. If it helps, you can get it again and share it
with someone else the way. Maybeit helped you, it'll help them find

serious tone for her main points. And you know, we've all heard Paris

dog? You know that the doghas to go through the meet and greet
test, which is a day aroundthe other dogs so that they can get
to know the dog and the peoplecan get to know the dog. If
you ever had a dog pass orfail that test, Nova Luna, my
little Morqui had to take this testyesterday. I got an update for you

(11:07):
in minutes. Stay with Toby andTilly in the morning on this Tues.
Eight sixty six, nine two, seven forty three sixty one ninety seven point
one, watch f M. Tobyand Tilly in the morning boarding your pet
while you travel. Have you everhad to board a pet? Our Morqui
Novelluna had her meet and greet testsat this place where she's going to be
staying. She passed, so nowshe has a place to stay, which

(11:28):
is good. I trust them. It's a place where Clover Maxwell, our
previous Maltese used to go. Andit's fourth of July week, so you
have to take what you can get. Yeah, but she should have a
good time while I'm in Texas.I'm just very very thankful and not anxious
because she does it's great to beWell, it might seem like it's good

(11:48):
news. Okay, Well what amI missing here? Well, I'm you
know, kind of in a tiffwith my significant other over this. What
is her issue? What is herissue with it? Did she want to
watch the dog and Life Pets andshe loves dogs and cats and she loves
animals and she is just not afan of boarding them. And so she

(12:11):
when I told her I was thinkingabout boarding the dog, she was like,
no, no, she needs tobe with her brother with ConA.
She needs to be with me.I called so and so, so and
so and so and so said youcould bring her over here, and I'm
like, I'm like, but ihad already gone down the road of this.
I've already made a decision. Youhave to travel too. Did she
ever have like a really bad experienceboarding a dog or is her issue?

(12:33):
Like, what is the main thingthat she doesn't like her? I don't
know that she had a bad experience, but I do know that she mentioned
the following things. The dog sleepingin a crate or a kennel, the
dog sleeping on a concrete floor, like there's going to be betting or anything,
right, The dog being in acrate. The dog needs to be
able to go to the bathroom.Dog did they don't know the dog's trainings

(12:56):
be cause it's like it's like wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong,
And I'm just feeling like I'm likeI can't do anything right. I
thought I was like two steps aheadon this. There's nothing you're doing wrong.
But there are definitely people who,for whatever reason, are not comfortable
taking their dog to one of theseboarding facilities. We've never done it either.
It just feels weird for total strangersto watch our dog, who feels

(13:20):
like a family member. It feelsweird that our dog would just be left
somewhere because I'm thinking, is shegonna think she was abandoned for a week.
So I get some of that, but honestly, at least they're at
a reputable place. She'll enjoy thebreak from me. I think she'll enjoy
playing with new dogs and learning tosocialize. I remember that's when Clover Maxwell

(13:43):
was a little puppy and he stayedover there. That's when he came back
and he learned how to bark andhow to go potty. There are people
who swear when they come back fromvacation and they go to pick their dogs
up from these places that say,oh, my dog loves it. They're
almost sad that I came back, and I'm like, how do you know?
Did your dog? Yeah? AndI've got them sending me little pictures
every day, giving me updates. So it's not like I'm not connected.

(14:05):
I'm in touch. It's just Ican't win her over on this one.
If something did go sideways, wouldyour girlfriend hold it against you for the
rest Probably more than likely. Andeven if nothing goes sideways, my significant
other will hold me accountable for therest of my life. I hope things

that even mean? You'll find outnext? Stay with Tobe and Chilly in

a flight mean? Tobey and Chillyin the morning, It's ninety seven point

(19:18):

explain. You get on a flightand you raw dog the flights. You
use none of the plane's amenities. You don't pull out your headphones, you
don't get your kindle, you don'tget your tablet, you don't get your
tech, you don't listen to music. It's just you alone with your thoughts,

(19:41):
raw dogging the flight. Why isthis a trend? What are they
saying? Why are they saying thatthey're doing this. I think it's just
because people want to see how farand how long they can go without any
kind of technology. It's one ofthose ways that people push back on the
fact that this tech has become toobig a part of our lives. It's
something we must do, we mustlog on, we must share it.

By the way, the numbers eightsixty six, nine two, seven forty

raw dogger. I can stop. No, I could not because my anxiety

(20:29):
is so bad. On an airplane, I have to have a distraction of
some sort, whether it's watching something, listening to something, reading something.
Now, if I'm allowed to talkto somebody, does that count as ardying
it or no? I think thatI don't think that that counts as raw
dogg. I think that you havinga conversation without any technology over some beverages.

(20:51):
Well, I guess beverages would beusing an amenutity for No. No,
it's not you can you can havea beverage. Okay, Well I
could do it that way because Ijust can't foe becaus on the fact that
I'm floating in the not floating theflying in the air. What about you,
though, Could you seriously just sitthere on a flight and do nothing.
I've made the flight multiple times tomy family's home in South Texas or

(21:14):
to San Antonio. Uh huh. One, you know, provided it's a
NonStop flight, that's about the durationtwo and a half maybe three hours of
raw dogging. If I had tofly to Hawaii again on a Southwest flight,
Yeah, and I didn't have anyWi Fi or tech that might make
me feel some sort of way.And I don't know that a conversation with

(21:34):
a seat mate or a rowmate wouldwould be comparable. That would probably be
torture at that point if you're talkingfor that many hours. So I can
raw dog to a point. You, however, choose not to raw dog.
I cannot know. My anxiety wouldn'tallow it. Thank you well.

Continue It's Toby and Chilly. It'scrazy first date in Elquid, Virginia this
morning, Lisa, welcome, Whatup? Tell us this story? So

(22:37):
I met through a friend. Wehad talked several weeks and he finally asked
me out. I was so excited. He did show up to the house
a little early. Thank goodness,my dad was there, so I introduced
him to my father. And Iam the youngest of three other sisters,
and my older sister happened to bethere. Well, the look on her

(23:00):
face when I went to go introducethe two of them, she looked like
she had seen a ghost. AndI was like, okay, what the
heck? So I was like, okay, well, give me a couple
of minutes. I've got to go. You know, I'm sitting a shop
and I'll be back down. Mysister actually ends up following me up the
stairs and she's like, I triedto pick that guy up last night in

(23:21):
the bar. And I was likewhat, please tell me nothing, and
she's like, oh no, helike really shrugged me off, Lisa,
and I was like, oh mygod, Okay, so she didn't go
back out at all with me.So anyway, I go back out and
the poor guy, you just couldtell the awkwardness. Well, we did
go out on the date, andit was very awkward the whole time.

(23:41):
We did not have a second date. Did he at any point say to
you what you already knew? Nothing? Nothing. Throughout the date. I
was afraid to like bring it upbecause she could always see the awkwardness across
from him. I felt that hefelt so out of place that she did
not know what to say. Doyou think if that thing didn't happen between
the two of them, that maybeyou could have actually dated this guy and

(24:04):
for longer. I think we probablywould have dated a while. Yes,
But you know they say everything happensfor a reason. I just keep on
telling her, you know that Iwas the better looking one, and I
got the man, and she didwell. Because of the incestuous, comedic
nature of your story, Lisa,I gotta tell you, that's great.

(24:25):
Congratulations you've won. Oh my gosh, thank you. I love it.
It gets to see Elana's moriscent whenshe comes to town on her tour this
summer. Oh well, see, everything happens for a reason. Now,
will you be sharing this with yoursister or do you have somebody else in
