has you Chili feeling very validated this morning. Please do
tell because now we're curious. At ninety seven point one
was CHEFM.

So my husband had a colonoscopy in an endoscopy, both
very routine procedures. And in order to do that, if
you don't know, they put you under briefly okay, and
then afterwards the doctor will come and kind of go
over the results of the test, and the doctor comes
in and we're sitting their way to he goes everything
looks great, you know, just a couple of things, maybe
(05:43):
some acid reflex going on. Oh and another thing. The
anesthesiologist believes you have sleep apnea.
Speaker 3 (05:52):
Now well, well, in order to have sleep apnea, they
would have had to physically hear some things and then
notice something about your breathing while you were under So
are you saying your husband was snoring up a storm
while he was under the influence of the anesthesia.
Speaker 5 (06:10):
His breathing was interrupted because part of sleep apne as
you stop breathing, you have interrupted breathing patterns.

Right.

Remember now I'm sitting there as he's saying this, smiling
and nodding my head because, as partners know, sometimes our
concerns are dismissed.

to go get a sleep study because I believe you're
snoring and all the stuff as your sleeping partner is

in prison. The bill, however, is unlikely to advance in
the Senate without bipartisan support.

she steps down at the end of the month. He

authority to deploy the guard. A man hunt in rest
and has ended with a suspect in custody after Fairfax

makes something a white elephant gift, and then you.

You know, draw numbers and then you go and pick
a random gift from under the tree and sometimes you
can steal it, just depends on the rules of the game.
It's a humorous and fun way to sort of exchange gifts.

That's right, And this was a very fun, fun way
to exchange gifts over the weekend. However, I will say this,
there were some really doozy white elephant.

Gifts some people like to do the gag gift that
nobody wants to get stuck with.

There were many gag gifts of the adult variety floating
around that Christmas tree, if you know what I mean.
There were a lot of those. I did not notice
any gift cards, which would have been a good white
elephant gift.

I'm one of those people, Toby that when I take
a white elephant gift, I want people to fight over
the one I bring, So it could be lottery tickets
or like a Starbucks gift card that everybody wants.

this year. It was like a kid's bingo game. But
it was not the worst that I've ever received.

The worst I've received was like an action figure of
a rapper in like the Wu Tang clan. I don't
even remember which rapper it was, but it wasn't any
of the big ones, so I can tell you that
it was something that probably didn't get bought and ended
up at the dollar store. U No, or maybe a
seven eleven because sometimes I see them there. Yeah, that
was the worst white elephant gift ever that I have

ever received.

Yeah, well, it's worse than what I've gotten. I got
stuck with a rooster shaped platter. Well yeah, well, but
at least you could use that platter. Well not really.
I ended up donating it or giving it away to somebody.

So my husband had a colonoscopy in an endoscopy, both
very routine procedures. And in order to do that, if
you don't know, they put you under briefly okay, and
then afterwards the doctor will come and kind of go
over the results of the test, and the doctor comes
in and we're sitting their way to he goes everything
looks great, you know, just a couple of things, maybe
(05:43):
some acid reflex going on. Oh and another thing. The
anesthesiologist believes you have sleep apnea.

Now well, well, in order to have sleep apnea, they
would have had to physically hear some things and then
notice something about your breathing while you were under So
are you saying your husband was snoring up a storm
while he was under the influence of the anesthesia.
Speaker 5 (06:10):
His breathing was interrupted because part of sleep apne as
you stop breathing, you have interrupted breathing patterns.

Right.

Remember now I'm sitting there as he's saying this, smiling
and nodding my head because, as partners know, sometimes our
concerns are dismissed.

to go get a sleep study because I believe you're
snoring and all the stuff as your sleeping partner is

Now he has to take care of it because somebody

a very personal, emotional handwritten card, something that I sit
down and I take the time to write something that
takes me more than just you know, like the fifteen

seconds sure it takes to write Merry Christmas, Love you
very much. Over the weekend I told her I was
it was over at Tyson's and she said, if I
find out that you're there getting me a gift at
Tyson's or something, I'm going to be very upset.

Okay, Well, she told you what she wanted and what
she didn't want. You write her that heartfelt note and
you handed to her. If she gives you attitude like,
oh is this the only thing you got that is
on her Toby, she has to stick by her request.

And so I need to just take her at her
word and stop overthinking it, because I feel like I'm
stepping into some sort of a trap.
Speaker 5 (21:24):
Has she ever misled you before? Has she ever not
said what she meant before?

No?

Then why would you doubt her words?
Speaker 5 (21:32):
Now? If that's genuinely all she wants, then respect it.
If you would feel better getting her something else, maybe
get it as a plan B. But I mean, if
it's going to upset her that you got her something else,
I'd stay away.

That's a good idea, A plan B gift that I
can take back, Yeah, that you can return, don't lose
the receipt, and judge the situation as I go.

The President says he is lowering costs. In an address
to the nation last night, he said that car prices
are down and that grocery prices are falling rapidly. The
President also said wages for workers like construction workers, are
growing at a fast rate. House Republicans passed a bill
yesterday to ban gender transition surgeries and hormone treatments for miners,

making providers subject to up to ten years in prison.
The bill is unlike to advance in the Senate without
bipartisan support. Deputy FBI director Dan Bo Bongino is resigning.
He will be leaving the role in January. The US
government has acknowledged mistakes by Army helicopter pilots and a

Reagan National Airport air traffic controller in the deadly January
mid air collision that claimed sixty seven lives, so now
that opens the door for victims' families to pursue damages
as the NTSB investigation continues. The National Guard will remain
deployed in DC after a federal appeals court overruled a

lower court order that would have ended the mission. The
judges said DC is not a state and that the
president has unique authority to deploy the Guard. DC is
planning a major overhaul of transportation around the side of
the city's new NFL Stadium. Metro officials say they're also
going to be spending money on rail and bus improvements,

aiming for forty percent of fans to use public transit,
and new research shows global internet traffic grows nineteen percent
this year as people spent more time online. Google, Facebook,
and Apple were the most visited websites worldwide, with Facebook, Instagram,
and TikTok leading social media forecast. Today cloudy with highs
