(00:00):
God help you if you do notgive good customer service to that man right
there. If you get bad serviceto that man, it could go really
bad for you. And apparently thisis what happened over the break when Thor
had a bad waiter. We ain'tdone yet. It's time for the podcast

(00:26):
year completely uncensored and unacting filtered exceptfor that part the show's after show starts.
Now. Well, you know, here's the thing about four is,
first of all, he has noproblem complaining about something and if it's not
to his liking. You know,a lot of us have that gear of

(00:47):
like do we should we say something? He does not care if he's paying
for it. He expects it tobe the way he wants and the way
it is, especially with how expensivethings are nowadays. I get it,
yes, now. He also healso takes things very personally too, So

(01:11):
that's always again this was fucking saying, Eddie. And so if you give
him bad service at a restaurant,I can't even imagine what that must look
like, you know. And soapparently that's what went down when you went
out to dinner. Yeah, thispast Thursday when dinner and I want to
say the name of the restaurant, but I will thank you and uh,

(01:33):
but it was. But we mettwo friends of ours who are only other
friends that don't have kids, sowe like hanging out with them a lot.
Question. Uh, what kind likefancy restaurant, just kind of casual
restaurants, casual like bar food type. Okay, yeah, but it was
in a nice area. So theylive in Vista. We live in the
South Park Golden Hill area, sowe met in del Mark. That was

(01:56):
like that right in the middle,so even like laid back places in Delmar
another place, and the place hasa cool view of the ocean, but
it was kind of cloudy on Thursday. So we go, well to check
this out. So we get tothe restaurant and the couple we go with,
I love them, they're great. And we get to the restaurant and
there's a bunch of seats inside, but they really wanted to view, so

(02:19):
they sat outside and it's fucking coldand windy, but they really wanted this
view for some reason. But itwas cloudy and cold and windy, and
the one table we got with kindof a view was one long table where
we each had to sit on theend, so we couldn't really it's weird
for a couple. Yeah, tosit and like because you're like talking,
like leaning over on the table. So I was all thrown off by that.

(02:40):
But they got but typical, wewere late because you know, guess
who's always late. It's always myfault. It's it's always my fucking fault.
I didn't do anything, well,I didn't. She got home from
work, and I didn't let thedogs out and feed them. If I
would have done that, she gothome, she got home with three forty
five. We'd have to be theretill five. So I'm like, you

(03:01):
were on the couch on your phone, like, how is it? Anyway,
that's not what we're talking about.That's we're talking about. So we're
really uncomfortable. And then also too, there was an accident on the eight
o five, so that took ussome time. But so we get there.
I'm like, all right, sothis is kind of awkward way we're
sitting, but whatever. So whilewe're out there, it starts to rain.
It starts to now they have likea covering, but it was really

(03:22):
windy, so it's blowing in again. So I'm like, oh, well,
this sucks. So we and wehad just ordered appetizer, happy hour
appetizer because it was there five sothis place was the Foo. It was
a little food ful appetizer for me, Like I don't need fucking Brussels process

(03:43):
appetizer. That's discuss. But theyhave bacon on there. This is why,
this is what happened, is whyI'll never go back to this place.
But this is also another reason. You have a happy hour menu.
But wings aren't on the happy menu. They had wings. It just happen.

(04:11):
Count So we are the appetizers. We're having a good time, and
then it starts to rain. Sowe go into the restaurant and there's no
tables available inside and I'm like thatkind of sucks. But the manager comes
up to us. He goes, hey, there's a table right there.
We'll get you seated. They're aboutto clean, we're about to leave up,
and I'm like, all right,we know we're lucky to get that

(04:31):
because we got screwed. You know, we shouldn't have been sitting outside whatever.
We were like going with going withthe flow, baby. So as
we go to the people get up. As we go to sit down,
we see other people get seated andlike somebody is talking to me are my
friend's talking to me, so Ikind of I'm seeing this out of the
corner of my eye, so I'mnot paying attention at all what this guy's

(04:53):
saying. I'm just wondering, whythe fuck am I not getting seated right
now? Because I'm also hungry atthis point, I haven't eaten anything since
like two it's now like five pointfifty. I worked out between this,
so that is hungry. I hada beef stick that wasn't going to hold
me over. So the manager comesup and says he's so sorry, but
another waitress gave that table away beforehe after he talked to us, So

(05:18):
I out, I'm annoyed, butI don't want to make a scene,
so I go, oh, wellthat's a bummer. I like this,
So I go to let him knowI'm annoyed, but I'm being cool about
it because he promised us the table. Sure that he is. That isn't
even my issue. But I justwant to tell you kind of my mind,

(05:39):
thank you, Eddie. And I'malready pissed about the wings not being
happy. Can you get because that'sit's so weird, that's so weird.
I don't want there the Brussels sprouts. Of course, that didn't even need
to be said. But you thinkyou'd run it by your husband. Never
mind, Oh no, we're notdoing this. So they were like,

(06:00):
as soon as the next table opensup, will see you. So we
stood there for like thirty forty minutes. No way, yeah, bro,
because the table the restaurant was packed. So we stood there for because we
had already been standing there when wewere waiting for the other tables. That
was like fifteen It was still raining, so at all the tables and the
seats were wet now. So wefinally get a table and we sit down

(06:20):
and this waiter comes up and hisvibe is immediately weird, and I don't
get why. So he comes overand he goes to take our order for
appetisers, and I said, oh, we already ordered with that other waiter
because we were outside, and themanager told us to sit down at this
table. So we already ordered. But they said our food was ready,

(06:43):
but it had been ready, butwe had nowhere to eat it, so
we were gonna they were gonna remakeit for us. And he goes and
he goes, oh, and I'mlike, that's kind of a weird response
whatever. And then I said, hey, also, we got here purposely
for happy Hour and then the rainhappened and then we had to wait for
the table. So I would assumewe're still gonna get happy hour prices,
right, And he goes no,and the very attitude of no, and

(07:09):
I go, well, that's insane, and I said that's insane. I
go, it's not my fault thatwe were promised the table and we didn't
get it. And while I'm doingthis, Haley is uncomfortable. I get
that. I don't give a fuckabout that, okay, because she knows
me. I love her. Sheshe she knows me, she gets me,
she lets me do me. Andthere's parts now where the part of
me comes up in her where she'llstart doing this a little bit in certain

(07:31):
situations, which turns me off.But what what what made me uncomfortable was
that her friend, our friend, the wife of the couple, started I
could felt like it was starting toget uncomfortable. So I'm like, fun,
not everybody is used to you.Yeah, just so so I go,

(07:54):
So I back off. So Iback off because I'm like, all
right, if she's gonna be uncomfortable, our friend I'm going to back off,
so he goes, well, aslong as you still order it within
the time, then you can getit. I'm like, all right.
So we always advertisers again and Iwould order order our meals and one of
the app one of the happy hourthings was a burger, and I thought
it was a burger that came withfries, but it was literally just the

(08:16):
burger. I I didn't put twoand two together our So now I'm annoyed.
The table, the wings, thewaiters kind of a dick. We
had to wait for the table, you know what I mean. And now
I get my burger and it's justa burger and I'm like, fuck,
you can't thank you. And itwas a tiny fucking burger slider. It

(08:37):
was like it was like it waslike if it was slider and a regular
burger. Fucked. They made thistitle burger, So how do you recall
and I'm sure you do how muchthis? Uh nine bucks? Nine but
happy hours? But yeah, okay, I could see how you would think

(09:00):
that might be a full size burger, you know what I mean, a
full sized burger nine bucks. Don'tput on the fucking happy hour man,
you without a full sized burger.Okay, this is the place. She
orders a chicken sandwich and she orderedlike she didn't want to really, she
wanted like a sky type order. There was like what she didn't want any
pickles or sauce on it. She'swanted to play chicken and bun and that

(09:20):
was it. I don't know, something like that, or maybe there was
no cheese and no pickles. Sothey bring her the sandwich and has everything
on it, and she says tothe buster boy who dropped it off,
hey, I didn't want this, and he goes, all right, I'll
let the waiter know. The waitercomes back and I'm not I'm not fucking
kidding you. He goes, what'sthe problem, like like that he's annoyed,

(09:43):
and then she goes, oh,I didn't I didn't order this.
I wanted this in this off hegoes, oh okay, like he's fucking
annoyed at her for ordering it.No, Like, I don't know about
you, but if you work atthe restaurant industry and somebody gets the wrong
order, what do you usually do? Me the best server answer the question

(10:05):
and incorrect order comes out? Howdo you handle that? Emily the best
server on the show, Edward,I do say, oh my gosh,
I'm so sorry. You're over thetop. I'm over the top. I'm
so so sorry. Let me takeit away from you and let me go
fix it in the kitchen. I'llbe right up. This is why she's
the best accepted. I think that'swhat you should do. Okay, okay,

(10:31):
And then I might sit on yourlap to get a better and that's
why she's want you and you don'teven have to be that over the top,
but just oh, I'm sorry, man, yeah, my bad,
nothing like that at all. AndI'm fuming because the happy hour attitude for
dickhead and then the wings, I'mpissed, and I'm like, I'm looking

(10:56):
at people and I'm looking at mywife, like, is anyone could to
fucking say anything? This is crazy? So then so then so then he
leaves, does your wife sense she'slike the volcano. Her hand is on
my leg and she's like telling meto calm down because I don't think it's
right. What's going on here? This is crazy and this is we're doing

(11:18):
separate checks. But I'm pissed forher, and then I I don't like
the attitude, and like what Idon't get why he's such a dick.
I don't I didn't understand it.So then I look at my buddy,
who's her wife, her wife, her husband, and I'm like, dude,
what's going on? He goes, this is crazy, he's not getting
a good tip, and I'm like, all right, well, at least

(11:39):
we're on the same page there.I just wish somebody would have said something.
So whatever, though, so Ileave it alone, and then I
try to eat my burger super slow, which obviously that's the problem for me.
I can't. I need fries. So this guy comes back over.
He comes back over, and I'mnot He comes back over, and I'm
not kidding you. He takes herfood and just drops it on the table,

(12:00):
walks away, like not here yougo, I'm so sorry that happened,
just drops on the table, walksaway. But I go, excuse
me because he walked away, andhe turns around and I go, can
I order a thing of fries? And he goes, yeah, wait,
why is he? I don't getit. So I'm like, only honestly

(12:20):
at this point, I'm thinking, does this guy know like I'm thor on
the show and he doesn't like me, Like, that's the only I think
that's crazy. It's like he's withme, like he listens to the show.
He loves everybody but hates thor Yeahthat's which happens. Oh yeah,
so I'm like everybody. I don'tknow about everybody. I mean, people
do like me. But that's that'swhere I'm thinking, because I'm like,

(12:43):
this is fucking crazy. So thenwe pay, we we pay, we
leave. I leave the worst tipI've ever left anybody in my life anything.
It was sixty five dollars. Wesplit sixty five dollars each each left
seven bucks. That's actually not okay, So I really you guys do that?

(13:05):
No, no, we don't.The build was almost seventy seven.
Yeah, okay, so I'm kindof surprised you even loft that much though
I am maybe a three year thatbad, and I'm surprised you left anything.
My thing is again, I thoughthim, I thought his wife,
my buddy's wife was uncomfortable. SoI didn't want to make it worse.

(13:26):
If it was just me and Haley, we would get into Free Entre because
I would I would have talked tothe manager. I would have been fucking
furious. Boy. So I go, and we leave the restaurant, and
Haley realizes they bought her a giftfor passing her pilot license. So I
realized, oh, ship, weleft the gift. They're really good people.

(13:46):
Mine's uh the gift. It wasjust a nice thing they did.
That's actually what they bought her apilot. It was actually pretty cute,
and that was I'm going to return. I'm gonna return the one and then
I'll get her some we like alittle kid that they get the left.

(14:09):
Yes, what else do you?So? I go. So I'm like
a statue, so I go,I go, Oh, I left it
because it was next to me.So I'm like, oh, I left
the restaurant. Walking in the restaurant, I grab it. I'm not I
swear on my kid. I swearto God. I grab the thing and

(14:31):
I look. I look around therestaurants. I'm walking out and our waiter
is folding napkins, staring daggers atme, like me, mugging me.
I swear, I'm like, whatthe funk, dude, I swear,
I know that's how you feel, and I know that you like look you
are like you you know how youget you take it too personal know.

(14:56):
I mean, he just looked atyou. When you're in this mindset,
you would have just thought, likethis guy, hate this guy, let's
go, let's fight. So whatdo you think I did? Well,
I don't. I don't. I'mimagining if you're by yourself at that point,
that you probably spoke to somebody.Well, everyone's waiting for me,
okay, so you can't, youknow. So I he's looking at me

(15:16):
like this. I stopped my tracksand I look at him like I give
I stare at him, tilt myhead and I go, I give him
the shoulder struggle, like what thefuck you know? And he keeps staring
at me. And I know atthis point he's looking at me. So
now we're gonna stare off. OhI'm so oh God, leave the restaurant.
I never go there. You givehim some bucks, let's ta get

(15:39):
the fuck out. So I'm like, so then I do this thing?
You want that one? He's stillthinking about it. So I walked.
I walked up the stairs at therestaurant and always say goodbye to our friends.
And it's over. It's not over. Is not over? I take
out my phone and I go,I gotta talk to this manager. I

(16:00):
got it because this guy. Ihad never been more uncomfortable around such a
dickhead in my life. You've neverbeen more insulted in your life. Wow,
That's why I called and I askedtalk to the manager, and they
said, oh, he's busy, and I go, I can hold and
they finally bring the manager and Igo, hey, man, I just

(16:22):
want to let you know I wasjust in there. And he goes,
oh, yeah, I sat youguys, sorry about that. I go,
Bro, you you couldn't you couldn'thave been nicer. You were super
nice. He was manager was reallynice, super cool guy whatever. And
I go, but your waiter thatserved us was a massive asshole, which
usually I don't do, which usuallyI don't think, but and he goes,
oh my, he goes, whathappened? I told everything that happened,

(16:42):
and I go, man, itwas one of the rudest experiences I've
ever had in my life. AndI go and it was our friend's wife's
birthday. It was the celebration.Because I just wanted to throw that in
there. I'm trying to throw thatin there. So he goes, I
won't go back, but he goes, if you ever come back. Please
ask for me and I'll take careof you guys. I'm like, sure,

(17:04):
Do you feel better now? No? He said he would handle it
internally. But then we went onthere at Google. I was gonna leave
a bad Yelp review. That's howbad this. So's your mission? End
this guy I can find? Okay, So we went on their website and
I guess they have a lot ofcomplaints of bad customer service, and I'm
like, it's got to be thatguy. It's got to be that guy.

(17:29):
Well I did so I stood offfor everybody. Wow, you're like
a hero. Thank you.
