(00:00):
Well, I ran into a littlebit of a situation over the weekend,
and immediately I think to myself, what's the rest of the show doing.
What would they do in this situation? And I didn't really know how you
guys would react. Now, thisall has to do with a tipping situation.
We ain't done yet. It's timefor the one podcast over yet,

(00:23):
completely uncensored and unacting, filtered exceptfor that part the party the show's after
show starts. Now, well, that wasn't entirely true. I do know
how two of you would have reacted. Oh, I think I know how
Sky would react. I think Iknow how Thor would react. Emily's the

(00:44):
wild card. I'm not really surehow she would react. Okay, So
went to Disneyland over the weekend. We were there for fourth of July through
Saturday. Was it crazy busy?I was thinking about you, like,
either I felt like either it wasgoing to be dead or it was going
to be insane. No, itwas busy. Was I've been there when
it was busy, But it wasbusy. It wasn't crazy. It was
just hot. Yeah it was miserablyhot. No, not quite, but

(01:07):
still just felt like, yeah,it was just hot, not great,
but whatever. So we went tosit Down restaurant at in California Adventure,
and we decided to have dinner there. And we were having dinner and uh
when the waiter approach. First ofall, actually I pulled an emily,
which I've I never do this.Where we were getting seated somewhere, And

(01:32):
it wasn't that I didn't like wherewe were sitting, you know, like
you have issues like if you don'tlike the vibe of the Seaton. Yeah,
I don't like to be too closeto the bathroom. I don't like
to sit in like a spot that'sreally really bright light, Like I don't
like to be under air conditioning.Air conditioning, like there's lots of different
things. You'll move all over theplace, and you have no cham in
your game, asking multiple times.I usually don't care. But they were

(01:56):
putting us in a table that wasdirectly in the sun. No, SHA's
brilliant. Nope, I'm not doingthat. I'm not sitting I'm already miserable.
I've been at this all fucking day, and I go, no,
I need I need like shade andsome air conditioning. That's why I'm here,
and so do not put me inthe sun, and so I asked,
I, go, can we sitsomewhere where it's not directly in the
sun. Guy gave me attitude.Whatever diddy, Yeah he was. He

(02:20):
was like, oh, okay.He walked away. He just left us
there and then came walking back andgoes, all right, come over here.
I'm like, okay, well,I'm so sorry. Yeah, I
mean, a sucks. He gaveyou attitude, but at least he didn't
like make you go back and wait, more like your tables around. I
mean, it's just that's how peopleare whatever. Put Yeah, So I

(02:44):
did. I did do that.I pulled an Emily appreciate it's weird.
I don't like doing it, butwhatever. And so in my new seat,
I sat down and as the serverapproached the table. I kind of
overheard him say something to himself. He went like, oh whoa, and
it was looking right at me,and I went I looked down and I

(03:06):
was like, oh, he mustbe talking about my cool shirt, a
fantastic four shirt. And I gothe must be like a big fan of
Marble or something. He was impressedbecause I'm in Disneyland. That shirt a
couple unique pal Okay, it was. It was a kick ass, fantastic
four shirt, and so I justthought to myself, Oh you like my

(03:27):
shirt or something. I have aquick question. This is kind of off
topic, but it's about your shirts. There's a strict like rotation rule that
Eddie has, right you have them, and whatever shirt comes up in the
rotation is the shirt that you wearthat day? Yes, do you pick
out a special shirt for your Disneylandtrips? I have like four or five
Disneyland specific shirts and which I wore, I believe on Friday and Saturday.

(03:52):
But on Thursday it was the nextshirt when the rotation was a fantastic poor
shirt and so I just rocked thatone. And apparently he was unique.
It is very nice and so whatever. So I didn't even think twice about
it. I was just like,I must like my shirt. Whatever.
Another deal went through. The wholedinner ordered. Our food guy was super

(04:14):
nice. In fact, gave mydaughter a free drink because she asked what
a mint julip was. They hadlike non alcoholic julips and she she kind
of was asking him what it wasand he goes, he goes, do
you want a sample? And shesaid sure, and so he went back,
brought her a full one and goes, this is the sample size for
you, and we were like,oh, that's super nice, super nice.

(04:35):
I was like, okay, cool, and so I was already like
this guy's giving a great service whatever. And so at the very end of
the meal, he comes to bringour bill and he sets it down and
he goes, oh, by theway, I'm a huge fan. And
I went always a pe wanted andhe works at Disney Yeah, like,

(04:55):
I'll see p ones there, youknow, who recognized me from time to
time, and you know that makesit because they're visiting. But I've never
met somebody who worked at Disneyland who'sa fan of our show. And so
I was like, oh, that'swild. And it happens so quickly.
I didn't even really get that becauseI would have asked him questions like where
do you live, do you livehalfway? How do you get our show?
Do you listen on the app?Like I have a million questions.
Yeah, But it was like hesat the bill down, he goes,

(05:17):
oh, by the way, I'ma big fan, and then just took
off. I was like, Iappreciate that. And then because you didn't
get to talk to him. He'sgoing around everybody the rest of the day
going mad Eddie. That was great. He didn't say hi to me,
I know, So that's the wholewhoa thing was that when he came up

(05:38):
he recognized me. I guess rightaway it was my shirt, which bumed
me out because it probably it wasa very unique, my very unique,
fantastic worshow and so so now itall made sense. I'm like, okay,
when he approached us, was afan of the show. Great,
super nice. But now I'm ina real pickle because I thought it was

(05:59):
very good service. Yeah, great, Now I would probably I don't even
know what my thought process was.I was gonna leave, but I was
gonna leave a little bit more thantwenty percent because of the drink, the
drink, the free drink. Soit put me over the top. So
here's wrong if I get great service, Like recently, I was at Island
Prime and it was the best serviceI think I ever had and we left

(06:21):
twenty five percent, which is sowild for you percent. I never do
stuff like that. I was feelingit. Then we went home and got
after it. It was I wasgoing to say, your wife was probably
tipsy. You knew you were goingto be getting some, so you're already
hyped up. Yeah, plus theservice. Yeah, do you regret that
I have a tip now? Immediatelyafter? Yes, yes, immediately,

(06:46):
especially why the fuck did twenty fivepercent? I was on a high.
He was a nice guy, buttwenty five percent, but you know,
it is what it is. Butfor you, he didn't. But he
was cracking jokes and they were goodjokes. I did. We made I
made a howk to a joke atthe time, and he followed it up
with spit on that thing and wewere laughing, and I thought that was

(07:13):
phenomenal and my wife didn't get itfor some reason. For me and him
were dying. Oh god, hecouldn't have been nice. Have been brought
up like where do you know?Where do you start with that? So
so if it's great service like thatwhere you're getting hot toa jokes, no,
there was on that would be crazyof my kids. But the twenty

(07:39):
five percent, I feel like thePixar parades walking by, Yeah, was
asking is he hot? I don'tknow, he's got one eye. Yeah.
God, So twenty five percent wasthe incredible best service. That's one
of the baddest tips I've ever heard. I don't do that. I don't
do that all now and I regretit to this day. Now, his

(08:00):
service with the free drink nice thatit wasn't over the top service, you
know, very nice guy, verygood serned, but like there's no hawk
to us. There was no likeover the top checking, you know,
things like that. But but again, good service, super nice with the
drink. And he's a P one, So okay. So now my dilemma
is, well, now that you'veannounced to me that you're a fan,

(08:26):
do I have to go over thetop the tip? And so that's that's
where now my dilemma is. AndI go, okay, Well, now
again you made that joke and commentof like, oh I met Eddie if
I don't leave an appropriate tip,is he really? Yeah? I waited
on any day he left me?What the fuck? Have a free drink?

(08:48):
Even so, I'm like, Idon't know what to do now because
of the free drink and the factthat he's a P one. Maybe maybe
I go percent maybe okay, somaybe here here's the other Maybe here's the
other scenario. Is it? Youknow on bills they tell you what percentage
and what will you tip? Now? All that stuff? So when eighteen

(09:11):
started with eighteen percent, is nowtwenty percent and twenty two percent. Those
were the three levels of tip that'slisted. So I went, okay,
that gives me a barometer too.So if I go top barometer, is
that cool enough? Or if Ihave to go over the top, because
again he's a fan. Is thisthe stuff that Brad Pitt deals with?

(09:33):
Stuff such a big slim. Let'ssay the bill was like one hundred and
thirty six cents, one hundred thirtysix cents I would have given him and
a minute, let's say I metthe tip. Let's say the tip was
the tip was twenty percent of thebill, right, So let's say the
tip is like thirty dollars and fortycents, I would tip thirty four dollars.

(09:56):
That would be my extra. Yourmouth really the confused. So let's
say let's say twenty percent. Ifthis is eighteen twenty twenty percent is thirty
four dollars and thirty cents. That'stwenty percent of whatever. You're right,
that's what it says. I wouldjust round up to thirty four. So
technically he's getting like twenty and ahalf percent. Okay, there you go.
So the guy, unless the guy'sgoing hot to that's the only way

(10:20):
to get a hot, hot fast. That was a great night. I
got the guy was hysterical, Wegot a big dessert. We had a
big, wild, crazy sex thatnight. Okay, but he didn't know
that you're thinking about him, Youdon't think you don't think Israel and maybe
maybe set the scene. Yeah, definitely on that night. Oh yeah,

(10:43):
we're not going saying it sounds justlike her. I've perfected it. Yeah,
we've been working on that. Soagain, then I think that.
Okay, I know Thor doesn't givea ship. He's he's gonna do whatever.
Yeah, the guy is going togo over the top. But she's

(11:03):
particulars right because she's crazy fifty.I don't know where would you go?
I yeah, so in that exactscenario, I maybe your daughter got a
free drink. Yeah, although shewould have had to asked a question,
which I don't know that would havehappened. No, no, no,
no no no, So I wouldjust like you. I see, Okay,

(11:24):
the top line is twenty two percent, so I'm gonna go above your
times by a thousand and then you'regonna shut up, I'll probably gave the
keys to my ca can you shutup? I'll probably throw like an extra
five bucks on top of that.Hold on a minute. Yeah, so
you're going to go twenty two percentand add an additional five dollars. Probably

(11:48):
that's probably what like twenty five twentyfour percent run there. Probably. Yeah,
there was this one time we wentto Still Can't get over that twenty
Yeah. My wife was feeling it, and I knew she likes when I
do that. It turns her on. Oh when you tip tip is going
on, that's one of the reasonsI did it. Yeah. Yeah,
one time we went to the BrokenYoke and there's a bunch of PB p

(12:11):
ones who work at the one inPB and I had a coupon, so
you can't use a coupon because onesworked there. I felt weird about it.
I felt there fucking I felt weirdabout it. I felt weird about
it. And it was like, like, you know, if you get
two entrees like legit, you gotlike twenty bucks off. It was like
a crazy fucking coupon, right, and so I think they're going to judge

(12:37):
you. But because it was aP one and because I was getting twenty
bucks off, I basically tipped onehundred percent. Like basically the bill ended
up being like thirty bucks, SoI tipped like thirty bucks because I'm like,
well, I just got a freetwenty dollars. This isn't because you
could see they show you. Yeah, but this again, it's a p

(12:58):
one. They're gonna be like,oh sky, only I was in here
for free fucking food. Like yourcue over really overthink it's a cute pond
on. So you're you're dead on, but would do nothing different over the
top, fucking over the time.So the real question is, Emily,
what are you doing in this scenario? I mean, usually I'm a pretty

(13:18):
good tipper. I always tip standardtwenty percent. If it's better, I'll
do a little bit more. SoI think your twenty two percent initially was
a really nice thought. Now here'sthe problem or the deal here. It
kind of depends on if mom hashad any drinks. Oh so how does
it depends? So dinner Mom's gonnahave to Mom's mom has had a couple

(13:39):
and your mama mom, your momhas had a couple of savvy bees.
Yes, we know, very generousafter a couple of cocktails that you do
with anything over an uber black.I did start paying for everybody crazy I
do. I get crazy. Soin this instance, I would have assumed
I had a couple glasses of wine. I probably would have. I probably
would have done twenty five percent.Twenty five percent, probably would have.

(14:01):
But I don't think there's anything wrongwith your twenty two Like with the highest
thing that they give you as anoption. Yeah, I saw the highest
option. That's just what I mightimmediately thought, and then I sort of
regretted it afterwards, Like should Ihave gone above the twenty two percent?
No, you regret that forever.See forever, there was no hawk to us
