Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well, it's been a minute. We haven't heard much about
new dad. What the hell has been going on before city? Okay,
well he wants you to, but you read such as
I don't understand. Well he's about to be I mean
they're getting hitched guy. Your mom and this guy are

(00:24):
having a commitment ceremony. Yes, I mean, well things are
about to get crazy because it's around the corner and
Sky Shocker not happy about it.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
We ain't done yet.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
It's time for the podcast yet.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
Completely uncensored and unacting filtered except for that part the
show's after show starts.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
Now, do you guys remember when Sky tried to be
happy about this? He is pretending like I have.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
And I love love and I'm full of ship and.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
That's out the window now. She's pretty much blatantly being
a little proud about it.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
I am not. I'm still happy that she's happy.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
She left you.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
She did she ditched me and my brother. Yes, some
do say that, Some do feel that way, that they've
been abandoned by their mother who has chosen her new
boyfriend over them.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
I mean, they just it's not even that far far
so you could get out of your house and go
visit them every once in a while.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
Fucking drive seven hours and it's like an hour and
a half. I don't but no traffic.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
Okay, you do anything.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
All weekend to a young lady, do something nice for
your mother.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
Okay. Yeah, so they're they're living their best life up
in Laguna.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
Well because they're close to his family.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
Yeah, they love the family. That's actually that's not weird.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
Excuse me, that is.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
I mean, you guys want to move to coastal Oregon as.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
It gets it's beautiful. You don't want to live right
on the ocean. Nobody wants to live right. I do
not live right.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
You own the ocean basically as close as you can get.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
I am not as close as you can get. If I.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
Under the sea, Okay, I'm not.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
Going to the coastal Oregon. Ocean is completely different than
like the San Diego.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
Obvious, So why why leave Paradise?

Speaker 3 (02:25):
But if one that doesn't go in the ocean, if
your one that looks at the ocean, you know, he
coastal organisms, I will, oh, I will Okay.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
Any way, yeah, this is why they left.

Speaker 4 (02:37):
Okay, that is not it makes me want to leave
go further up whatever.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
So yes, what is the new update here on new Dad.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
Okay again, his name is not new Dad. He is
my mom's boyfriend.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
About to be your stepdad legally, okay.

Speaker 3 (02:57):
I mean it's a commitment ceremony. It's not a legal wedding.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
So you're really not going to acknowledge this? Well what like,
I mean what they're basically getting married.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
Right, I mean in their eyes, not not legally.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
What the Lord's we need to look at it.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
If the Lord's not involved, I don't want to.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
Have heard.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
I get it, you're living it sin So yes, so
they are planning planning stages for their commitment ceremony and we.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
We we heard before that this thing is going to
be like a Christmas thing. Oh yeah yeah, is it
in December?

Speaker 3 (03:37):
Yes, it's a couple of days before Christmas. Yeah, yeah,
it's excited. I know you're not invited.

Speaker 4 (03:43):
You know, is your new dad going to be like
Sanna and your mom on the Naughty List?

Speaker 3 (03:50):
Whoa, whoa dude, that's really creepy. Yeah, this is gonna
bum you guys out or or the listeners. So their
wedding or whatever commitment ceremony is right before Christmas, so
it's legit, right, when we go on our Christmas vacation,
I won't be back.

Speaker 4 (04:10):
Is this while you're doing your organ trip because you're
not going to go? Yeah, I'm not going. You refuse
to go like Michael Scott, remember any we refused to
go to his mom's wedding and then eat his pants
maybe to go back.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
But he tells the story, Oh yeah, yeah, uh yeah,
So it's it's a Christmas theme, you know. Yeah, the
juries out on this whole point setia thing, were going
to do fakeys. Yeah, she was leaning towards the fakies.
I then steered her towards it. It's your special day,

(04:48):
you should get real.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
And she's blowing through your savings.

Speaker 4 (04:51):
Are thinking they actually hire Buble to be there, Like
she's throwing that money down the toilet.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
She's giving it all to him.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
I could go back in time.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
Okay, really, I don't think Blay is gonna be there aady,
so you can you know if he shows.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
Up, Oh my god, fuck, why would.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
He fucking show up to like some haul in Laguna?

Speaker 1 (05:13):
That's random. Ask your mom if she needs me to
get together like a playlist for her.

Speaker 3 (05:19):
That she would probably like.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
There we go.

Speaker 3 (05:23):
Oh you're Okay, what so Yeah, so still a lot
of planning, still a lot talking about twinkling lights and
point setias and whatever. So that's great. She's excited talking
about wearing some sort of like forest green stress the stain.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
Yeah, she's not gonna go white man.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
Well, I mean I think well past.

Speaker 3 (05:45):
Yeah, she's she's really diving into that Christmas theme and green.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
Yeah, that's Christmas, I guess.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
And so I was a little surprised though, yesterday, because
I didn't know this was coming. I hadn't heard about
this when I opened my mailbox. Love going to get
the mail so exciting every day.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
How does your mail even find it? Amazon jungle?

Speaker 3 (06:08):
Okay, it's not. It's not a jungle. I know the
pictures are on my bug and and now that's fine.
He can he can reach the mailbox. He doesn't need
to break branches off my bush anymore. So go to
the mailbox, real excited because I see like a fancy
thing in there. You know what I'm talking about, Emily.
It's not junk mail. It's like it's like a hand
written somebody has sent you a car envelope too.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
That would Emily be the only one who understands what
fancy mail means.

Speaker 3 (06:35):
She's the only one who understands the joy of receiving
fancy mail. I don't feel the two of you see.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
A fancy mail and I have a life. I'm not
excited by mail.

Speaker 3 (06:45):
Okay, it's the little things that excite us. She's guys, right, I.

Speaker 2 (06:48):
Do get excited. You're very you guys are very simple.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
Emily loves a good handwritten car, so I know she
would appreciate that. And so I'm like, immediately, I'm like,
what is this? And I ope it up and I
notice on the back because it has the like pre
printed return address of my mom and her boyfriend.

Speaker 1 (07:10):
Here we go all the way from Laguna, all the
way from Laguna. Wow.

Speaker 3 (07:13):
And so they have like little address labels already pre
printed fancy envelopes. Yeah, it's not even like a stamp.
It's not even like a sticker. It's like the crystal.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
They're really blowing through your staving.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
Okay, expensive.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
Yeah, They're like, what else can we do for this?
I wonder what the spread is going to be? Okay,
high class food?

Speaker 3 (07:36):
Okay, can you stop? And so I immediately open it up,
and I don't know why I didn't realize what it
was until I opened it. But it is a official
save the date the date, Save the date?

Speaker 1 (07:51):
Should we do the invitation? I mean we're pretty close.

Speaker 2 (07:55):
Yeah, we're only five months.

Speaker 3 (07:58):
Yeah, so I guess you said this. I don't know.
What do you remember the protocol from your wedding for
when it goes out?

Speaker 1 (08:04):
Can't you do the save the date like almost a
year in advance? Oh wow, that's what I remember. Yeah,
and then you send the invitation like about four or
five months before.

Speaker 3 (08:12):
Yeah, okay, Well.

Speaker 1 (08:14):
Because you've got to gather at all. You got to
get the list together.

Speaker 3 (08:16):
It's a whole thing, especially if people aren't like travel.

Speaker 1 (08:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (08:20):
So I don't know. And now people i've got saved
the dates email you just email like do an evie?
A nice evite save.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
The date a nice one, yeah, as opposed to yucky evite. Yep.

Speaker 4 (08:33):
I've gotten invite to a bunch of weddings lately. No
one sent me an fight.

Speaker 1 (08:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (08:38):
Yeah, I've never I've never seen ane.

Speaker 1 (08:40):
I've never seen I've gotten.

Speaker 3 (08:44):
My sister's friend Joe Lean did a digital save the
date paper.

Speaker 4 (08:48):
Oh yeah, that's when you went to that weird fucking
wedding in like the middle of nowhere.

Speaker 3 (08:54):
That was a different one.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
This one was in Vegas. Okay, oh yeah, yeah, yeah,
yeah yeah yeah.

Speaker 3 (09:00):
Uh so official. No, it's just like a picture. Yes,
it's like a picture of the two of them. And
clearly I know where I get my photography skills from.
So they so it's like them out in nature, which
is really beautiful, all these beautiful trees and everything, but

(09:23):
they are completely shaded. Yeah, like they are fully shaded.
And I can tell my mom doesn't realize there's a
feature where you can lighten up, okay, so keeping the
skin nice. So I get that, and I'm like.

Speaker 2 (09:37):
Okay, you know, garbage, garbage.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
Shut up. It's already on the cound, date has already
been saved, okay. And then in there she has put
a full like so you got to save the date
shutterfly you know, thick paper thing. And then you she
put in a printed like document and this document is
two pages long, well, one page front and back, and

(10:06):
it is all about what people can do come out
to town for the wedding, and it has a whole
list of really all the things you can do in
the Laguna area.

Speaker 4 (10:19):
I'm assuming she probably sent this to just her family
because everyone else she really loves.

Speaker 2 (10:23):
Is near them.

Speaker 3 (10:24):
Okay, can you not? I think everybody do the same
thing in.

Speaker 1 (10:28):
This really explains so much about you, Like who does that?

Speaker 3 (10:34):
Yeah, like letting people know everything from the Long Beach
Aquarium to Disneyland, the distance they are from where they're
getting married, to those different locations.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
But here's the thing again, that wouldn't be that weird
in a wedding invitation. I sort of seen like you'll
get a list of hotels or something like that, but
things to do when weird. But then in the save
the date, Yeah, I don't understand anything that's going on.

Speaker 3 (11:08):
Her logic is like, oh, if you're going to come
out for the wedding, you may want to save a
couple extra days to enjoy the city instead of flying
right back. That's my thoughts. But I don't know.

Speaker 1 (11:21):
But here's where it gets your brain.

Speaker 3 (11:24):
So that's what I'm thinking she's thinking. Uh So, the
front of the document is pretty much all things to
do in the Laguna Anaheim, Los Angeles, whatever area. And
then all of a sudden I noticed that the whole
back has stuff too, and so I flip it over
and that is when on the top it says like reminder,

(11:47):
Sky and Joey my brother. I think she put Joe
probably Joe Sky a Sky and Joe live an hour
and a half to the south in San Diego. Here
are all the things you can do in San Diego,
and then kind of put the proximity of those things
to our house. So she's like la Joya Cove Sky's houses,

(12:11):
but da da da dah, you know, yeah, and and
listed everything Sea World, Lego Land.

Speaker 2 (12:18):
She's inviting people to your house.

Speaker 3 (12:21):
That's kind of what it seems like to me, Like
she didn't ask you well, I mean she didn't specifically
say hey, you can stay with them, but if you're well,
and if she's pointing out how far these things are
away from art, how like or is she like opening
the door like even not to stay with you, but like, hey,
you should reach out. So that's like telling all these

(12:41):
people to reach out to you. Oh oh he will
yeah yeah, because he wants to go to Lego Land
with distant cousin of mine.

Speaker 2 (12:49):
Yeah yeah.

Speaker 4 (12:51):
So I'm assuming you called it your mom and say
hey mom, what's this?

Speaker 2 (12:55):
Why would you do this?

Speaker 3 (12:56):
Yeah? No, not at all.

Speaker 4 (12:58):
So she's just gonna have all his family and then
you're going to you and your husband. You're going to
force your husband to go hang out with your family
and stuff.

Speaker 1 (13:04):
Yeah, and sky will harbor you know these feelings inside
and show.

Speaker 2 (13:08):
And then just go love love love, love love love.

Speaker 3 (13:12):
I love that you're in love.

Speaker 2 (13:14):
I love it.

Speaker 1 (13:14):
I love love.

Speaker 3 (13:16):
So all of that was shocking, from the save the
date to the recommendations to pointing out where I live.
I wasn't expecting any of this. But that's that's where
we are, you guys, that is where we.

Speaker 1 (13:31):
Are all this because you have a new dad.

Speaker 3 (13:33):
I don't have.

Speaker 4 (13:36):
Probably his idea when he's gonna he's got to come in.
And the Sertus dominance, Oh really, what do you want
to know
