Speaker 1 (00:01):
This is not gonna be what's wrong, This is not
gonna be good. Listen, There's a lot of stuff that
you can get away with, I feel like on this show. Uh,
you know, you can make mistakes a lot of the time.
Thor makes tons of them. Oh, you know you can
make You can make quite a few mistakes on this show.
But there's one thing you cannot fuck up, and that

(00:21):
is Taco about Thursday. We ain't done yet. It's time
for the one podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
Over yet, completely uncensored and unacting filtered except for that part.

Speaker 3 (00:36):
The show's after show starts.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
Now. Yeah, we've had quite a few different helpers on
the show, whether they be interns or whether they be
assistant producers, things like that. HARKing back to the name Darrio,
maybe you remember, I remember do you remember that name? Kind?
And then of course we have zeth Thora at one
point was an intern.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
I started for this show in two thousand and eleven. Wow, long,
and I turned into like twenty I think twelve, and
then I went over to the sports station.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
And then he came over here full time.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
Yeah, and then I was weekend A real big rock
came over here in March of twenty fourteen.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
Only ten years when you were an intern, were you
responsible to go get our food?

Speaker 4 (01:25):
Yes, okay, I got the food, I answered phones I did.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
And you knew there's one thing you couldn't do, which
is fuck up our food order. Yeah, I don't think.

Speaker 4 (01:35):
Honestly, I don't think I ever did.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
I don't recall. I don't think I ever did, which
is hard to believe. Why Why is that hard Because
at that time too, but I didn't. We were just
becoming friends. I didn't want to make a mistakes.

Speaker 4 (01:48):
Now I wouldn't. I would just suck it up purposefully. Probably,
Oh my god, Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
Back then I was trying to I was getting in
the business again.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
Yes, you can do it.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
I feel like you can get away with a lot
on the show, fuck up a lot of things, Emily.
You know, time to time will make some some critical mistakes,
but you know, usually it's not a big deal. It
goes whatever.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
I mean it's critical. That sounds like a big deal.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
Honestly, the way the way people sometimes act in this business,
it's like the end of the world. If something happens,
I literally don't care. I just don't care. It's whatever
you're gonna happen. Like yesterday, we were in the middle
of talking in our first book and randomly some legal
ideas started playing. Honestly, there are DJs that would have
lost their ship and would have like ended the show

(02:38):
that happen, and it just happened, And I'm like, whatever
is it is? What it is. Things happen all the time.
But we take when we get food, which is you know,
two or three times a week. I would say it
depends on what's going on. We take that very seriously.
It's our hard earned money and we want what we want.

(02:58):
We get very excited, you know, when we're gonna get
our food.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
It is an excitement. It's a hububb in here when
we're getting it together, maybe.

Speaker 4 (03:06):
Between Eddie, Emily and Scott. I don't usually get food.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
No you don't. But although you have a lot of
feelings when your wife brings you food, yeah, don't, don't.
Don't try to play coy. Yesterday you flipped out because
she brought you this is breakfast from her from her work,
and you're like, what is this? Well, I don't even
got to going on. It's all happen. It's all happened.

Speaker 4 (03:33):
I'm not saying because I still want those preferences. They're
just jealous.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
They're just jealous. So we get excited about our food.
We get you know, and we're I feel like we're
pretty detail oriented, not on the show, in fact opposite.
But when our food order comes, like, we we write
down everything, Emily. We want to make sure everything is right.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
When it comes to Usually Sky takes the orders unless
unless yeah, unless Emily is in on it.

Speaker 4 (04:02):
But when Emily is in on it.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
She acts like she's fucking Baracobaba.

Speaker 4 (04:07):
Because she I don't know where I got that, ye president,
similar to the bad who's detailed orients? I don't know,
detail oriented somebody whoever, whoever is the most detailed orient person?

Speaker 5 (04:25):
You know?

Speaker 2 (04:25):
That's Emily. Which you taking food or? She gets down
everyone's order. She counts the money for everybody. She gives
like a perfect list, and she wants it done fast
because she's hungry. She takes her job way less seriously
than this food said, it's not universe. I get nervous
when I'm doing it too, like it's important.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
Bro, how long there our little guy over here? Jamie
been on the show? Now, Jamie, when did you join
the show? What? What are we talking here like about
a week. How long you've been on hope.

Speaker 6 (05:00):
Were like the middle of May?

Speaker 3 (05:04):
WHOA, yeah you were at first?

Speaker 4 (05:08):
You were like killing it too. First.

Speaker 5 (05:11):
His energy in the beginning was amazing, amazing.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
He was headed editing equipment here, He's banging out videos
right beyond beyond.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
Remember when Sky voted for him for employee of them.

Speaker 5 (05:26):
It was the guy's like second week working with us,
and I'm like, this guy's fucking amazing beyond everything.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
So I just assumed all of us voted for.

Speaker 4 (05:35):
Jam voted.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
That they see who you vote for.

Speaker 5 (05:44):
So yeah, I I I definitely did put down Jam's
name for that.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
Yeah, get that email today, Jamie, gonna get your vote.

Speaker 3 (05:53):
Jamie's so fucking alive to have my phone.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
Okay, listen, there's a few things going on here, are
you know, James. Jamie is now responsible for going and
doing the food runs, and so I think we've stressed
to you, Jamie a few times that this is the
most important thing you're gonna do.

Speaker 6 (06:12):
Right.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
Yeah, you know.

Speaker 3 (06:13):
That we've literally started that.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
Literally don't care about much, yes, but yeah, the food order.
You gotta get it right. You gotta get it right.
You cannot mess it up. Don't funk around with this, okay.
And so today, of all days, is the most important day.

Speaker 4 (06:31):
It is most important.

Speaker 3 (06:32):
It is the most important thing we do all fucking
week on this show.

Speaker 1 (06:35):
Okay, all fairy or no, I'm not going to disagree.
It is Taco Bell Thursday. Taco Bell Thursday is yeah
for me and Sky is It's something we look forward to, yeaheah.

Speaker 5 (06:48):
And it's the only time I ever get Taco Bell because, like,
my husband is a taco shop guy, and like, even
though he'll eat in and out burgers till the sun
don't shine, he likes he like looks down on places
like Taco Bell.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
It's really weird.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
But he's better than Taco Bell.

Speaker 3 (07:03):
Because he says. We live in San Diego, So if
you're gonna get.

Speaker 4 (07:07):
Mexicans is different, it's different.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
I don't even consider talk about Mexican.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
You know, if you're having like actual Mexican food for dinner,
you wouldn't do it.

Speaker 6 (07:15):
Still do it?

Speaker 2 (07:16):
Sometimes I like Taco Bell better than if I'm not feeling.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
A taco shop is almost too heavy.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
Yeah, yeah, it's a different vibe world.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
So this is the only time I get Mike to
get it once a.

Speaker 2 (07:29):
Week, so it's not but still but still get it
once a year, birthday, you get times a.

Speaker 3 (07:37):
Year, thank you holidays, so like forty eight times.

Speaker 1 (07:44):
Okay, but we like it, we enjoy it, we love it.
It's a great thing, you know, it's huge. So that's
the one thing. Listen. You know, if we get a
food on another day of the week and then there's
a little bit of a mistake here or there, I
can look past talk about Thursday.

Speaker 4 (08:02):
And you know what's happening that. You know what's happened.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
Well, today was the straw that broke the camel's back
because we've had a little bit of lax attitude.

Speaker 4 (08:13):
Because he posted the video of my rant so late yesterday.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
No that wasn't what again, I don't again, I don't
care about that.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
With the food situation, food situation has been hit and miss,
hit and miss and and there's sort of a laxataisical
attitude about it.

Speaker 4 (08:29):
You know, it's like he doesn't give.

Speaker 1 (08:31):
Up, like he'll make the mistake and Jamie gives the oh, sorry, okay,
you don't remember the one thing that we said to you.
You can't funk up.

Speaker 3 (08:46):
Most important part of it's been.

Speaker 1 (08:47):
Happening makes oh sorry about Okay, clearly he doesn't really
get this.

Speaker 3 (08:58):
It's important.

Speaker 1 (08:59):
But luckily the Taco Ball Thursday order hasn't really been
that affected. Now. We do sort of get the same
thing quite often. Sky lives in the Mexican pizza world.
Every once in a while, she'll get a couple other things.
I usually get the same burrito I get every week.
Every once in a while, get a couple whatever. But
today was different. Both of us sort of went rogue. Yeah,

(09:21):
we both went rogue. I got a chilopa. I have
no idea, but.

Speaker 3 (09:27):
Happy Okay.

Speaker 1 (09:30):
I thought I was ordering a gordita. That's how stupid.
I really did delicious goods. And then Sky went really
rogue and she decided she was going to get two
tacos to Tacos Supremes. Get those. Okay, So that's a

(09:54):
pretty simple order, right, Yeah, okay, Jamie, Jame fucked it up.
Now let me I'm gonna ask you guys a question. Yeah,
very simple. If I wrote down two Taco supremes and
you get to order, you go to order, and the

(10:14):
Taco Bell drive through attendant says, oh, would you like harder?
Soft and all it says, all the only information is
two taco supremes. What does that mean to you?

Speaker 4 (10:24):
Emily hard?

Speaker 1 (10:26):
By default door hard? Yeah, what fucking psychopath would go?
You know what? Soft taco? I think Sky would prefer a.

Speaker 5 (10:39):
Over when someone says taco clearly the default is a
soft talk.

Speaker 2 (10:45):
Earlier, earlier in the show, we were talking about something
with taco bell and tostada like and and Sky was
going on because you like crunchy things.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
I'm a texture gal thinks crunchy.

Speaker 2 (10:57):
Yeah, going soft is very speci I would have to
think more people get hard talks and soft.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
I agree. Well, Jimmy arrives, he lets Sky know, Hey,
you didn't specify hard or soft. I went soft, and
Sky I don't see this. Gal react very harshly, very often.
But boy, as soon as Jamie left the room, there
was a lot of really bad words that were said

(11:25):
about Jamie. About Jamie.

Speaker 5 (11:27):
She was very upset and about soft talkos in general,
and my feelings on tortilla.

Speaker 1 (11:33):
And at Jamie, what was going through your mind when
you were ordering the food and you had to make
the decision.

Speaker 6 (11:43):
Well, first, I was really thrown off because it was
a brand new, very different menu.

Speaker 4 (11:46):
I did not you.

Speaker 1 (11:47):
You got used to our regular orders.

Speaker 6 (11:48):
I got used to the bean burrito with beef and
sour cream, Mexican pizza. Good boy almost Tom's no, no Tom,
I got the note tomes on the talcos.

Speaker 3 (11:58):
Anyways, did you did?

Speaker 6 (11:59):
I got you there?

Speaker 3 (12:00):
But I was getting better.

Speaker 1 (12:02):
I'm about to bring up the sauce situation too.

Speaker 2 (12:04):
So don't you don't get all cocky?

Speaker 1 (12:10):
Was on?

Speaker 3 (12:10):
That was wasn't fucking Eddie?

Speaker 4 (12:15):
Yeah, this guy's having a rough time.

Speaker 1 (12:20):
Yeah, yeah, going on.

Speaker 6 (12:25):
So I just because regular tacos, you don't get crunchy
tacos from the street fenders.

Speaker 4 (12:30):
So I was like, soft tacos. I always get something
on the street.

Speaker 1 (12:33):
What are you talking about, Taco Bell.

Speaker 4 (12:36):
We're not talking about streets.

Speaker 2 (12:38):
We're talking about like Taco Bell is like or take
your taco kid. No one gets the soft will take
your taco kid.

Speaker 1 (12:42):
I didn't even know this. Did they sell that?

Speaker 4 (12:44):
I think they do?

Speaker 2 (12:45):
And it's like, yeah, yeah, why would you do that?

Speaker 1 (12:51):
Street taco is corn like a corn.

Speaker 4 (12:53):
Yeah, and it's tiny soft taco. They even sleep street.

Speaker 1 (12:58):
No soft tacos atalk about or flower towards you.

Speaker 6 (13:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (13:02):
So massive difference.

Speaker 2 (13:03):
It's it's it's somehow, it's somehow whiter than soft. Talking
about was somehow whiter than a hard taco.

Speaker 6 (13:09):
I talk about as it so and sky very rarely,
if ever, I believe since I've been here has gotten
to taco. So I don't recall ever having to specify
crunch your soft.

Speaker 4 (13:23):
So I just went soft.

Speaker 1 (13:24):
Your brain went softs. Yeah, so Jamie likes soft tacos. Yeah,
so then everybody has to like soft talk.

Speaker 6 (13:35):
If you don't tell me softer crunchy, I'm just gonna
you're you're default is soft.

Speaker 4 (13:39):
Yeah, that's wild. I don't need tacobout problems.

Speaker 6 (13:42):
I didn't start Thursday started, yeah, okay, because I got
with you guys, You're welcome.

Speaker 1 (13:47):
If anything would have gone one hard, one soft, I
mean I wouldn't have done it.

Speaker 3 (13:52):
I would have ordered hard.

Speaker 4 (13:53):
Let's just say that. But I mean the at least
she would have got one hard.

Speaker 5 (13:55):
Okay, And you know I don't I don't mean to
bring up ex girlfriends or whatever. But even Zeth, who
gave to fucking ships about this job, like he just
liked hanging out with us because he's our friend. But
like we all know, like like, I mean, we all
know what was up there, right.

Speaker 1 (14:15):
Him?

Speaker 5 (14:16):
He would text from in line and he mean, like,
I'm not clear?

Speaker 3 (14:21):
Do you want a harder or soft toko?

Speaker 1 (14:23):
For that one time he got you that steak crunch
rap where he had to make a choice. She just
did happen before. Yeah, he wrap and he went steak chicken.

Speaker 6 (14:33):
It was.

Speaker 1 (14:35):
It was a breakfast crunch rap. So his choice was steak,
bacon or sausage, and the man went steak for sky
for people that makes no sense.

Speaker 3 (14:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (14:44):
After that he knew he had a text like bacon
and sausage.

Speaker 3 (14:48):
Yeah yeah. And then and then you need to text,
and so he texted.

Speaker 6 (14:51):
Text I was, I was, I don't care.

Speaker 4 (14:54):
I had the radio again.

Speaker 3 (14:57):
What did we tell you was important? Thing about your job?

Speaker 1 (15:01):
Can't funk it up?

Speaker 2 (15:02):
You sit there and wait, not post it on time?

Speaker 1 (15:05):
You sit there and wait. No, that's again, you don't
you do not care? Uh yeah, you sit there. You
gotta get that right, You gotta get that right. And
then this motherfucker.

Speaker 3 (15:18):
You think it can't get worse.

Speaker 1 (15:20):
Hands me the bag and my orders. Correct, I got
my chy.

Speaker 4 (15:25):
Do you say that like smoking Robbins?

Speaker 1 (15:27):
He was very close to Chanoka.

Speaker 4 (15:32):
I don't do you think smoking? Robinson knows that I.

Speaker 1 (15:34):
Have no idea. I again, you've been here since May.
We get fucking talk about every single Thursday. You know.
I am a fire sauce man. That's all I want.
Fuck your mild funk, you're hot, fun all the rest.

(15:55):
Just give me fire, that's all I want. Fire. I'm
a fire I'm a fire guy. Open up the bag.
I'm dealing with the with the anger situation over here
from you can't wrap head around it. And me, you know,
I'm like, well that does suck. It's terrible, but at
least my orders right. And then I look and I go, oh,

(16:15):
I spoke too soon?

Speaker 3 (16:16):
You did, son of a bitch, Yeah you did.

Speaker 1 (16:19):
Motherfucker didn't get me fired? He didn't he got me hot? No,
how does that happen? You and this guy's been here,
this is May. You know, I'm a fire guy. What
happened there? Someone somebody didn't give a fuck.

Speaker 6 (16:33):
I had no excuse there.

Speaker 4 (16:34):
I messed up.

Speaker 1 (16:35):
That's not acceptable.

Speaker 3 (16:36):
Are you over us? Are you over us in this job?
Is that what's happening here?

Speaker 1 (16:40):
James?

Speaker 3 (16:42):
He's too comfortable, he's too comfortable.

Speaker 1 (16:43):
We got to start making.

Speaker 4 (16:45):
We got a light of fire, you.

Speaker 2 (16:47):
Know, Okay, can you or is his fire maybe out?

Speaker 1 (16:53):
Hey?

Speaker 3 (16:56):
Really right now, really right now? So you're not mad
at me.

Speaker 5 (17:01):
You're not.

Speaker 3 (17:01):
You're not punishing me for something.

Speaker 1 (17:03):
No, you've just been a busy few weeks.

Speaker 5 (17:08):
So you're telling me as a human you believe the
taco default truly is a soft taco.

Speaker 1 (17:14):
No bigger question is, hey, the guy moved two weeks ago,
and so now I don't know what taco bell is.

Speaker 6 (17:21):
Yeah, we didn't have to talk about last week, so
we weren't.

Speaker 1 (17:27):
Here you were, okay, bastard, bastard. Hey, that's that's strike too.

Speaker 2 (17:35):
To that strike two ware strikes in the same day,
because yes.

Speaker 1 (17:39):
And soft tacos wrong sauce, that's two strikes. You don't
want to get the three strikes. You don't want to.

Speaker 4 (17:46):
Get what happens strikes when you get fired.

Speaker 3 (17:49):
I mean, I think that's pretty clear.

Speaker 1 (17:50):
I mean I think that was that was a really
a question puzzle.

Speaker 3 (17:57):
