her husband, the Boo, they've basically been on the outs
on their inner circle, you know. They they sort of
had a crew for a little while when they moved
to La Jolla. They wanted to be part of the

couple invites are a lot less as well, Like those
are the real ones that like I'll see the pictures
on Facebook and I'll be like, oh, they all made
pizzas together. Ye made pizza oven. They brought in a
pizza oven, and they all they all got they made
fresh dough.

And you think they're like, well, we want to invite you,
but you always bring your daughter. Yeah, it's kind of weird.

Just like what Eddie said, turned down so many invitations.
We you can only give so many maybes and then
not actually show up before they're like, yeah, we're over you,

there has been one pretty much consistent invite that we've

our friends in the neighborhood. They throw a big Halloween
party every year. Like they get out the fog machine,
they send up like a DJ table. They'll put up
like a big screen in the corner of the yard
and have like freaky movies playing on it and stuff.

So it's it's a wild house party and it's always
a lot of fun. And we've gone pretty much every
single year. And last year did we go last year? No,
there were I think no.

there was like, yeah, I think it was. Actually there
was something that last year was the one year it.

really known him that well for long because COVID happened
and all this stuff, So he wasn't like this necessarily.

awkward guy. But you know you could get it out
of him, and especially a couple of cocktails, he'd loosen up. Yeah.
But but yeah, COVID, I mean it's just he's done.

Yeah. We would have poker parties, have different things, and

he wouldn't speak, but then when he would have the cards,

so so yeah, he's always had a touch of this.
But they're right, like COVID just gave him the green
light to shut it down. The Gallas, he'd get his

So strange to think about that he would be like that.

And so this is where we're at now. No, but
I really liked this Halloween party that we always to
because it's like everybody. It's one of those ones where
everybody wears a costume. So even though my husband doesn't
want to wear a costume, he knows he'll stand out
even more.

He has done bone tie a few years, everyone behind him.
He did hippie one year. He did h slash one
year because I had like the top hat in the wig. Yes, yes,

the times where he has to like have fun fun.
He has to participate because it's worse for him if
he doesn't, right, because then he stands out like a
sore thumb. So I was really looking forward to it,

so I'm like, number one, are they not having the
party this year? Or did we just not get invited?

And so yesterday the Hobby and I were having a
little alone adult time and we had the house to
ourselves all day yesterday. My daughter was gone until like
nine thirty last night. So we were exploring the space
and part of the space was the jacuzzie. So we
were sitting in there talking and you know, when you
soak in a jacuzzie for like two hours straight, sometimes

you run out of things to talk about.

I would never want to be keep Low keep two hours.

then all of a sudden, I realize, uh, yeah, like,

invited to. And so I bring it up to him, like, yeah,
that's crazy. So and so like they are are we
not getting the invite this year? Maybe they're not having
the party. And then all of a sudden I see

him go oh, and his face kind of drops. He goes, yeah,
I forgot to tell you. So the husband actually was
put in charge of the invites or something this year,
So he texted the boo directly the invite like two
weeks ago, and.

No, No, that's weird because I think he got weird
and like didn't respond to the text for a while
and he knew I wouldn't like that. And then he
finally responded to the text, claiming he wasn't like sick
or something and that's why he didn't text back for

then all of a sudden, I realize, uh, yeah, like,
let's let's talk about this party that we haven't been
invited to. And so I bring it up to him, like, yeah,
that's crazy. So and so like they are are we
not getting the invite this year? Maybe they're not having
the party. And then all of a sudden I see

him go oh, and his face kind of drops. He goes, yeah,
I forgot to tell you. So the husband actually was
put in charge of the invites or something this year,
So he texted the boo directly the invite like two
weeks ago, and.
Speaker 1 (09:03):
He didn't tell you.
Speaker 2 (09:04):
No, No, that's weird because I think he got weird
and like didn't respond to the text for a while
and he knew I wouldn't like that. And then he
finally responded to the text, claiming he wasn't like sick
or something and that's why he didn't text back for
a couple of days. I don't know, you.
Speaker 1 (09:21):
Guys, I don't you don't have to respond that second.
Speaker 2 (09:23):
No, no, but like no, literally like a week, like
a week went by before he texted is it he
could have just text about it?

Wasn't like they were like, hey, what's going on?

You guys, I'm sure shocking nobody that someone with social
anxiety wouldn't be the best at communicating via text. So anyway,

What's our costume going to be? Like, now, let's have
that discussion. And that's when he goes, oh, yeah, the
party's on November second this year, And I'm like, ah,

like you always hate going to a Halloween party after Halloween.

I would never go to always. That's weird, that's so stupid.

You've already worn your costume, you've already kind of packed
everything away.

You're a Halloween dowt Hallween's done. It's done.

October thirty first, it's over.

Yeah, well that's Halloween. But then the next day, November first,
it's over.

After after after October thirty first is the last day.
Because you've celebrated.

Halloween, that's literally the whole month.

Yeah, because people were had like last weekend, people were
having parties, there this week on November one, You're done.

You know, it's weird because Halloween this year is on
a Thursday, so you want to maybe have it closer
to the Halloween, so that's that Saturday.

But no, you do it the Saturday before, like we're
doing this matter, Yes.
Speaker 4 (10:48):
Yeah, you don't do Saint Patrick's Day the day a
couple of days later.

Sorry, Valentine's Day is going to be, oh well it's
on a Tuesday this year, so we're gonna sell We're
gonna do a Valentine's Day on Saturday after after.
Speaker 3 (11:01):

Yeah, well, I mean I get the thought. Like you said, Eddie,
it's the closest weekend day. But if it was.

Door brought up, I could wrap my head around it
because you don't have to get dressed up.

Like the costume is where that that cuts it off. Yeah,

And then Christmas is completely different because I feel like
Christmas not any time, but again I feel like I
feel like I feel like Christmas on Christmas, but the
whole month of December is like the holiday season. And
so if you want to get together post Christmas on
like twenty.
Speaker 3 (11:37):
Eight and that makes sense. And the holiday party like
a holiday.
Speaker 4 (11:39):
Part and somebody you don't do a holiday you don't
do a holiday party in January like we do our company.
Speaker 3 (11:47):
That doesn't make any sense.
Speaker 1 (11:48):
And holiday party the week before Thanksgiving.
Speaker 2 (11:52):
Oh yeah, that is weird too, and that really doesn't
make sense.

You know, that really doesn't make sense to you.

Yeah, there's still another and nobody loves it.

So I figure the way this conversation is going to
go and the jacuzzi is we're going to discuss how
weird it is to have it on the second and
then we're going to figure out what kind of phone
it in. Costume we're going to pull out of the bin. Well,
because we don't want to go full costume. I'm thinking
because we've already been there, done that, you know what
I mean. It's after Halloween, so we'll probably do like that.
Speaker 5 (12:22):
It's not like you're going to tons of Halloween parties.
Speaker 2 (12:24):
Well, you know, I'm trick or treating, and I trick.
I guess I don't do that anymore. I guess that's
dress dressing.
Speaker 5 (12:33):

So we're going to.

Phone it in and be comfy. I'm thinking, oh, we
got this old like inmate outfits, like what are we
going to be? And that's when he's just kind of
staring at me as I'm now realized I'm talking to myself,
and he goes, oh, yeah, I said we couldn't make it.
What he goes, I knew you. You know, you had
bru ball the weekend before, and it's after Halloween and

everything will be packed away. So I just figured we
weren't gonna go.
Speaker 1 (13:05):
No discussion. What he knows what he's doing.
Speaker 2 (13:08):
Then what divorce?
Speaker 1 (13:10):
Well, no, he doesn't want to go. If he talked
you about it, you would want to go. So he's
just gonna I came up with my reasons and I
just figured I.
Speaker 2 (13:20):
Figured you'd agree. I thought we were on this okay,
I am, and he thought when I started on my
it's weird November second ran that like, oh, yeah, here
we go. We're going down this path. She she's gonna
make the call. But once he realized that's not the
path I was going down. Who is this guy?
Speaker 1 (13:38):
Well that's wild to not run by the team captain,
thank you.
Speaker 6 (13:42):
I can't imagine if Robert did this, because I'm the
person that likes he's different than go anywhere.
Speaker 5 (13:48):
I'm a captain now. He likes to go to everything.
But if if if my husband was was like, don't
have a husband. I don't have a husband. If Robert
my man was like the bo I'd be super pissed.
Speaker 1 (13:59):
But well, okay, let's say this. For some reason, Robert
got an invite to something and he was like, I
don't feel like going to that, and he said no
on your behalf? Yeah, would you be upset?
Speaker 6 (14:10):
I'd be upset and I'd be like, okay, the control
I don't know about that, but I mean maybe, but
why would I not because both parties should.
Speaker 4 (14:17):
Be So would you So somebody texted you about a party,
you would immediately say yes or no.
Speaker 3 (14:23):
You would never say yes or no without talking to
Robert first.
Speaker 6 (14:26):
Probably not, but unless it's something that I know him
and I know he would want to go to, Like
like I know things that Robert he wants to do everything, and.
Speaker 5 (14:34):
I know that Robert loves to be a part of everything.
So it's like that's hard to grasp.
Speaker 6 (14:40):
But I feel like if he wasn't like that, I
would probably ask him if he wanted to be in
or out, because I know I'm going no matter what.
