Speaker 1 (00:00):
There are all kinds of different gamblers out there. There
are people that are like superstitious. There are people that
you know, have like different things that they're doing, you know,
all kinds of different there's all kinds.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
Of I've seen people that want to kill themselves.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
Yes, the range of emotions, especially with certain people that
the highs and the lows are wild. While I had
something happen while gambling this weekend that I kind of
I don't think I've ever had happen before. It was
so crazy and so extreme that I was like really

(00:36):
reconsidering everything about gambling after this one incident.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
We ain't done yet.

Speaker 3 (00:44):
It's time for the one podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
Year, completely uncensored and unacting filtered except.

Speaker 4 (00:51):
For that part the.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
The show's after show starts now.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
So I've been a blackjack player kind of my whole life.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
You know.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
My dad has been a back blackjack player, big time gambler, yeah, forever.
And so he taught me, like at a very young
age how to play blackjack, and then like when we
go camping or whatever, he'd let me play with like
the other adults really and things like that. And so,
I mean I've been playing forever and so as soon
as I turned twenty one, man, we were off to wherever,

(01:26):
like Tahoe or Vegas and whatever. And so I've been
gambling my whole life.

Speaker 4 (01:29):
Yeah, the amount of people I've seen Eddie teach how
to play like casino level blackjack two is like.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
Countless before all three of you, all of us.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
But like any time we go to a casino in
a group, every you know, okay, so where do we say?

Speaker 5 (01:44):
Where do I hit? What should I do? In this case?
What does splitting?

Speaker 1 (01:48):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:48):
He made me an addict for sure.

Speaker 3 (01:49):
Yeah, definitely help some of.

Speaker 5 (01:51):
Us remember what he taught us the last time around.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
Some of his don't.

Speaker 5 (01:54):
Eddie's taught me how to play roulette at least six
times every time.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
I go to pick and number.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Literally she can't figure out the inside of the outside.
She can't figure it out.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
It's pretty well. Yeah, so I love it. I've been
doing it forever. And so, yeah, gambling with Thors definitely
experience is it. He's he's a guy that when when
it's going well, there's no there's not a better guy
to play with. It's so much fun. He's doing a
shoulder shimmy, you know.

Speaker 3 (02:25):
He's he's high five, and.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
I don't do that. You don't give tips to the dealer. No, God,
they ain't tipping me. I ain't tipping them when I lose,
they never tip me.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
It's a it's a car. It's kind of like a
karma thing.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
Yeah, karma.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
So you don't have to.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
But you know, if you're doing real well, or say
I win a crazy hand where i've like, you know,
I split the cards four times and double down one
of them and then I win, like I just want
a crazy amount and and it was them that you know,
are pulling the cards. Now granted you know they're not
magically make it all happen, but that, but then you know,
say I won a two hundred and fifty dollars hand, Yeah,

(03:07):
I'm give them five bucks, thank you.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
Or if you're like leaving the table, good run. I
see that a lot too, just like kind of like
as you're leaving, like sure you know.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
You've never seen though. If I have like five hands
and I lose two hundred and fifty dollars and they
just go like this with their hand and then they
keep doing they don't give me five dollars. They don't
they don't go here's five bucks.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
You can bet for the dealer, you know where. It's
like I put my bed out there, and then I
put another five dollars out for the dealer and if
we win, he wins too.

Speaker 3 (03:38):
Oh so they like when you do that, there's.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
No good karma in betting. This is right, there's no
like it was like my whole life. It's like golf.
It's like golf. It's unforgiving. Okay, it's unforgiving. You win,
some lose them.

Speaker 5 (03:52):
I see what you're saying about.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
When it's low.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
Oh yeah, he literally wants to commit suicide. Yeah, and
you're just like, oh.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
I honestly don't. I don't. I gam I was in Vegas,
and then I think before in February, and then before that,
the last time I gambled. I don't even remember, like
eight months ago, because I didn't gamble at Bru Bowl.
So like, I don't gamble that much more because it's
too high and low. And now when I do gamble,
I do too much money, which makes me want to vomit.
My I don't you don't have to do that well
because I feel because I because I want to get
back when I lost.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
See, that's the worst way to gamble the worst, I'll
tell you better than that. So yeah, gambling is hidden
in my blood forever. And so this past weekend, for
Deborah's birthday, we went out to Suquan. We went to
sunk Resorts, and so, yeah, we did all the different stuff.
We got the couples with sag We had dinner out there,

(04:43):
and then we're gonna play. Well, my wife is a
slot chick, so she's off playing slots and I'm a
table guy.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
I don't know why you love her.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
Because you I mean, well, my buddy, do you love
all my buddies they play slots?

Speaker 3 (04:54):
I I don't get any love because I like table games.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
Yeah, I love them.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
Because when we go to the casinos, Debora and I
will sneak off to our slots.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
Neither off. I mean, I'm well aware where you are,
where you're going. You're not anywhere.

Speaker 5 (05:09):
You can't see us.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
You're escorts watching him play.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
I don't know what's going on, apparently, Okay, So I
go and find a black tag table, which was perfect
because it was right in front of one of the
TV's where the Padres.

Speaker 3 (05:25):
Game was on. Nice.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
So I'm locked in. Man, I'm like Okay, this is
a good spot. It was a busy night too, and
so I'm like, I'm on third base. I'm like, this
is exactly where I want to be. Padres games on
locked in and so it was a full table, you know,
and one person though, was playing like two hands, and
so it wasn't super crowded, which I appreciate.

Speaker 3 (05:45):
So it was it was a good vibe. I was
feeling good.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
I've done the two hand thing a bunch to try
to change up the cards again, I didn't do that.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
Yeah you can play. You got a double your the
table minimum. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:58):
So it's not the smartest move, you know, it just depends.
I mean, it did it work.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
I'm not gonna say, Okay, yeah, sometimes it can sometimes,
you know, it just depends.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
So I'm at this table and I'm doing pretty good,
you know, I'm I'm winning some hands, I'm walked in,
I'm doing well.

Speaker 3 (06:17):
I'm like, okay, this is good.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
And this one woman is at the table and in
the beginning she was a little bit of a talker
to not me, but the people that was wired because
she was like kind of across the table from me,
So she's talking everybody around her. And then she starts
doing really well. Well, the better she's doing at cards,
and the more she's winning, the more animated she is becoming.

(06:43):
And it starts off with she's playing with like I
guess her husband or a boyfriend or whoever.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
And she'd win, and she'd reach.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
Over to him and kiss him aggressively when she'd win.

Speaker 3 (06:57):
So she'd win.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
She goes ah, and the guy was, you know, okay,
so how much are we talking? Like, what's the minimum
at the table? Ten bucks? Twenty twenty bucks? Okay, so
twenty bucks a kiss maybe once? But if you had
like one hundred, all right? Yeah, oh that I get.
You're gonna kis somebody I kiss hibody anybody?

Speaker 4 (07:21):
So you don't believe twenty dollars kiss worthiness worthy?

Speaker 2 (07:24):
No?

Speaker 3 (07:24):
No, no, I don't. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
Twenty hours not.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
I don't think she was playing the table minimum.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
Okay, so she was going she.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
Might have been a little bit more.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
Okay, So kiss fifty, No, kissy. If you're playing anything
over seventy five is a kiss?

Speaker 3 (07:37):
You're you If you bet fifty and you win, you'd
be pumped.

Speaker 2 (07:41):
I'd be pumped. But I'm not kissing.

Speaker 3 (07:42):
You're not kissing.

Speaker 2 (07:43):
I'd be like, let's go, that's what I would do.
One hundred. I'm making out with whoever.

Speaker 3 (07:48):
Now, boy, I'm sitting right there. No, thank you've opened
that tongue. Nope, not gonna do it, Not gonna do it.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
Well, we're on, we're on a heater, we're winning tables, winning.

Speaker 3 (08:03):
Vibes, going on with black track.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
You just need to go on a run, right.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
Well, you just said it's not about you know, it's
about table karma right now. Yeah, we're all feeling.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
Yeah, I oh, go ahead, sorry, Well, so you.

Speaker 1 (08:17):
Know, the vibe is feeling good, everybody's doing well, so
her animated behavior is amping up. So now not only
am I right are we giving out kissies, we are
now giving high fives to everybody around. Now I'm on
the furthest end from her, so she can't reach me,
but everybody is getting high fives every win?

Speaker 2 (08:39):
Is she her? Bets?

Speaker 1 (08:41):
I wasn't really paying attention to her that much because
I was still thrown off by the high fives and
the kisses that I was just like, so we're we're
high five in everybody, And then she'd look at me
and give me the air high five because obviously I'm
part of this.

Speaker 5 (08:54):
Are you a hi?

Speaker 1 (08:56):
The first time, I kind of gave it half hearted
good I'm trying to keep the table going, so yeah,
you know, I mean, but I don't like any of this.

Speaker 5 (09:06):
Are you?

Speaker 2 (09:07):
I'm with him? I hate this. I'm all about let's
go because I feel like if there's any if there's when,
there's when I'm when I start winning. If there's a
pause and the dealer starts talking to somebody, noise the
fuck out of it, because I'm winning now, so shut
the fuck up.

Speaker 3 (09:25):
Okay, whoa Yeah, any wonder why he loses?

Speaker 2 (09:30):
Like, let's keep it going. You're killing the like to me,
once you slow down, you're killing, it's over.

Speaker 3 (09:35):
That's what they want, and that's that's what they're exactly.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
So like her doing all this ship It's gonna meet
me coming even if I'm winning, I'm coming out of
my skin.

Speaker 3 (09:43):
Now.

Speaker 5 (09:44):
Are you a believer in table?

Speaker 3 (09:46):
Karmel?

Speaker 4 (09:47):
Like, if there's an asshole at the table, will you
move table?

Speaker 2 (09:51):
Only if somebody is not playing?

Speaker 1 (09:53):
If I'm winning, yeah, that's when that's when you gotta
you gotta play right if you're you know, splitting tens
or something like that, I'm gonna get up leave because
you're gonna cost me.

Speaker 2 (10:01):
You know, Michael Eddie's Eddie is more patient than I am,
because Eddie will see it and not say anything, and
I'll be I'll do come on.

Speaker 3 (10:10):
The thing that but you're not supposed to do. This
is this is my move.

Speaker 1 (10:15):
So I hate when people try to outguess the cards.
So I'm I'm gonna stay on the thirteen.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
I have a feeling, feeling, I feel like that's something
I would You don't do that. You don't do.

Speaker 1 (10:28):
So if the dealer's showing a ten and I have
a thirteen, you always just say the bottom card is
a ten, so you have a twenty. I can't win
with thirteen, so why would I go down swinging. I
gotta try and try and get a better hand. Yeah, like,
you don't stay on thirteen with a ten showing. And
so sometimes the people will go I just have a feeling,

(10:48):
I'm gonna stay.

Speaker 2 (10:49):
And then the time it doesn't want to wrong.

Speaker 3 (10:51):
But the one time they're right there, I told you
I had a feeling.

Speaker 2 (10:55):
Yeah, and then and then they're hate and then they're
hitting on seventeen.

Speaker 3 (10:58):
And then I get the fucking ten. And it was
the bus card and I'm like, fuck you.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
If we were at the table and Emily hit on
seventeen or eighteen, I would go, come on.

Speaker 1 (11:08):
So this is my money. So the guy next to
me stayed on like fifteen.

Speaker 2 (11:13):
Oh god, it's annoying.

Speaker 1 (11:14):
And it was a ten show. And then I got
a hit and then so I'll do this, I'll stand
stay and wait. So the dealer goes to you, you know,
and to go, what do you want to do? And
he goes stay and then he moves over to me.
I'm not moving because I'm like, there's no way you're
staying on thirteen. And I am looking at him. I'm like,
and we'll do a standoff. We'll do a standoff. And

(11:36):
then you know, the dealer is like it's you and
I go, oh is he not?

Speaker 2 (11:41):
Oh I'm so confused because thirteen, Why are you staying
on thirteen?

Speaker 3 (11:46):
Yeah? I got a feeling.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
Well and then when then when I get your bus card, thanks,
Yeah that's what I do. I got your bus car,
I go thanks.

Speaker 3 (11:52):
Yeah, that's a little aggressive. You may get asked to
leave the casino.

Speaker 5 (11:58):
So yeah.

Speaker 1 (12:00):
The other thing that really drives me crazy and this
happened a ton. The guy next to me, he's big
on this. Anybody gets an ace, he's gonna do this
to the table. Oh you luck like sound it like
like like he's hoping you get the blackjack. Yeah, but
I hate it. I'm like, don't do that to me.

(12:20):
I only do that.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
I only I only do it to your own I
only do it to my own card if I'm losing
and I need something that needs something you have. If
I'm on a crazy win, this is not do this.
I'll do that, oh boy, and then and then I'll
get the ace and answer too. And I'm like, fuck.

Speaker 1 (12:38):
Round in the table like this is gonna somehow help
my cards, Just like, don't fucking do that.

Speaker 3 (12:44):
Just let me play my hand.

Speaker 1 (12:46):
And if you want to do that to your hand, okay,
but to my Yeah, like I don't need your help.

Speaker 3 (12:52):
He wake you.

Speaker 2 (12:53):
I'm all about it. This is what makes me a psycho.
I like playing by myself.

Speaker 1 (12:58):
No, I do too, because I got nobody else because yeah,
because other people like this.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
I got a feeling. I'm I'm gonna hit on nineteen.

Speaker 3 (13:08):
So not good this lady.

Speaker 1 (13:13):
I got the table guy, I got the god kiss
he's going on and but I'm winning, so we don't
want to know. I'm like, I got to put up
with this ship even though I hate it.

Speaker 2 (13:23):
You don't want to leave Padre games on.

Speaker 3 (13:25):
I'm where I want to be, so I don't. But
I'm hating it. But I'm winning. So I'm almos like,
this is not it isn't it?

Speaker 2 (13:32):
Is it?

Speaker 1 (13:33):
Like I'm dealing with this idiot. I got to get
a pat on the table. I'm like, fucking he Like
I want to get up and leave because I'm so annoyed,
but like I'm in my perfect spot.

Speaker 3 (13:42):
I hate this.

Speaker 1 (13:43):
So now we're winning so much and we're doing so well,
you're fucking roll. I had a pretty good run. I
had a pretty good run. She is now every time
every hand we win, she now gives the kissy, gives
the high vibes, stands up and does a full dance.

Speaker 5 (14:08):
On a lane.

Speaker 3 (14:10):
It's very it's.

Speaker 2 (14:11):
Very sky as almost a twist.

Speaker 3 (14:16):
Yeah, that's definitely.

Speaker 2 (14:21):
It's because this woman made a fist rather than hands down.
That's the big difference.

Speaker 1 (14:26):
That's the difference between the sky and this. But I
mean it was and the length of time I just
did was it was way more.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
That's so annoying.

Speaker 1 (14:35):
Kiss, high fives, dance and I'm like, what are we doing?
What the fuck is going on right now? That was
sort of the last straw. It was I literally have
it in my head. The next hand I lose, I'm
getting the funk out of here because I can't take
it anymore. And unfortunately, fortunately I kept winning, so I'm

(14:59):
like in there, I stop, Oh my god, if I
have to watch this Puppies the Old Lady Dance one
more time, I'm gonna were you?

Speaker 2 (15:07):
Were you actually happy when you finally lost.

Speaker 1 (15:10):
So kind of I stopped giving air high fives, do
the dance, and like kind of look at me for.

Speaker 3 (15:17):
Reactions like, hey man, why aren't you as happy as
I am?

Speaker 1 (15:21):
And I'm like, you're the reason why I'm not as
happy as you are.
