Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well, this was referenced earlier in the show, and Emily
out of everybody is dying to know what's up. I
don't know if I can handle this anymore. I just
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Man.

Speaker 1 (00:12):
We went through such a tough time with this. Yeah,
I felt like we were now we saw the lights
were here, Like, okay, we're good. I guess we're not
good when it comes to Skies lottery scratcher channel.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
We ain't done yet, the past yet, completely uncensored and unacting,
filtered except for that part.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
The show's after show starts.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
Now, yeah, these were dark times, man, start times. It
was trying to convince Sky that this was a disaster
in the making, Like, what are you talking about. You
haven't cracked the code of winning the lottery by playing
every single day and not just like dollar scratch her tickets. No, No,

(01:06):
that's fucking stupid. You gotta win millions. Yes, her channel
is chasing lottery millions, not chasing lottery fifty bucks, bro,
thank you. Okay, So you gotta play big to win big,
that's the mottoes. And so she was fucking playing these
like fifty dollars tickets and all these crazy amounts and
so what we were trying to like tell her, like sky,

(01:29):
this is not good, Like I don't think you're gonna
you know, I mean, hopefully you hit, but chances are
you not. It's the lottery.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
Maybe you'll hit five hundred bucks.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
That happened every once in a while. She did do
that every once in a while. But then when you're
buying fucking booklets of tickets, it doesn't it doesn't add up.

Speaker 4 (01:46):
Did you ever hit over one thousand?

Speaker 3 (01:49):
Our biggest hit was twenty five hundred?

Speaker 1 (01:51):
Remember she had to go to the lottery office and
they wouldn't pay her.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
I like, stole the tickets?

Speaker 4 (01:56):
You won, you must you got you still in the whole,
like stilly, so close, we're getting this one day, it's
going to happen.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
Well, because I kept a spreadsheet, and so the spreadsheet
really needed that twenty five it was. It was waiting
for it. Just liked it up. Oh yeah, oh yeah, definitely.
So it was. It was a weird phenomenon. There were ups,
there were downs, but.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
It was not even good for your mental health. You
and your husband were getting into fights because of the
husband started to have like online friends.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
That was weird.

Speaker 5 (02:30):
Yeah, because he'd be stressed out when he had to
respond to comments. There was like yeah, his up, his
big thing was the algorithm and responding in a timely
manner and just got bet yes like it.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
Was it was mister boom.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
Yeah, it was like.

Speaker 4 (02:50):
What do we think of mister boo? The guy's got
tons of nicknames. We got Boo Boo Diddy, No, that's
just a name.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
Yeah, now it's mister boom, dude.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
Mister booth. He just challenges how many people can I
not talk to? Every time?

Speaker 4 (03:11):
We're going to put you in a room for one
hundred and fifty days and you can win three hundred
thousand dollars. You just can't talk to anybody.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
He wins every time.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
Or it's just like a live stream and he'll building him
building a shelf and it's on for like three months.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
What an episode We're going to put mister boone in
the backyard with one hammer?

Speaker 3 (03:29):
Can he build a fence in less than two weeks?

Speaker 1 (03:33):
That one he's going to lose that challenge for two
hundred thousands soars. Just a sand, this piece of wood,
can you do it in a week? Maybe this is
the new concept. Oh wait a minute, because it's a
good idea, honestly. That is what Sky dropped earlier in
the show, is you know the lottery scratcher channel randomly

(03:55):
got brought up. Unfortunately, Yeah, and she said, well it's
not yet, and we went, whoa, dude, We're not going
back here again. You're out of your mind. But she
says there may be a new concept in the works.

Speaker 4 (04:09):
It's our open involved mister booth.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
I don't know that'll be another losing concept like slot
machines or something. Rude, how can I waste money at it?

Speaker 3 (04:21):
So yeah, so our hope because we need a ten
ninety nine for our taxes. Our tax guy told us
we need a ten ninety ten ninety nine. You all
need a ten ninety nine two for the record, and
so tech I need. I'm telling you what you need,
and so tax guy is like, yeah, W two is
not going to do it. To get right off that
you're looking to get, you need a ten ninety nine,

(04:43):
which is basically something you get when like you kind
of do like a side job for somebody. Your normal
job gives you a W two. But also if you
do YouTube, they do a ten ninety nine, they'll pay
you and then at the end of the year, send
that ten ninety nine. So last year, our tax guy
was to see that we had. I mean, it was
minuscule earnings from YouTube, but we did have said ten

(05:05):
ninety nine, and he's like, I don't care what the
amount is on that ten ninety nine, but you gotta
bring me another one next year. So I was thinking,
based off, well, if I want the write off, if
I don't want to pay a ton of money on
my taxes, and so I had thought based on our
YouTube channel and people watching old videos, we would still

(05:29):
get at least a check this year. But I guess
YouTube changed the algorithm or the rules a little bit,
and like they're not paying out people who aren't active anymore.
And now to like stay active and stay monetized, you
have to, I believe, put out like at least three
videos every single month. So our channel got demonetized. And

(05:52):
even though people are still viewing those old videos, if
we're not putting out new content, we don't qualify to
get paid. So we were over the channel because, like
Eddy said, me and the Boo were fighting, we were
losing money. We were then losing so much money that
we started feeling guilty that we might be encouraging other

(06:15):
people to scratch lottery tickets and then they're losing money.
Like we felt like we were advertising something that's like
not that great for people, So we didn't. We weren't
left with the best feeling about that. But at the
same time, I know this will shock you guys and whatever.
We did have and still do get comments on our

(06:36):
channel of people being like, we miss you guys, where
are you.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
There?

Speaker 3 (06:46):
Like there is a bit of a conspiracy theory going
on that we actually hit it and that and that
we like left you know. Then when ghosts after winning
our millions of dollars, uh, So we start talking about it.
We're like, how can we bring the channel back and
give people what they want but at the same time

(07:06):
not really be encouraging the lotters all of them, okay,
all the big subscribers. So here's what we came up with.
Over the summer, we got locked into a YouTube channel
that was doing a challenge. This guy, Ryan trey Han.
He has a very big YouTube channel, and he did

(07:29):
fifty states in fifty days. Him and his wife stayed
in a different airbnb. Blah blah blah blah blah, thoroughly
enjoyed it. You know, they ranked each one, gave an
award at the end, raised money for charity, all this
great stuff. So when we were talking about bringing our
channel back, we're like, well, how can we do this
because it needs to involve lottery tickets?

Speaker 1 (07:50):
Wait? Why? Oh, because it's the Because.

Speaker 3 (07:53):
That's the channel, and that's like the people who are
following it, that's their niche. So if we all of
a sudden started doing a gardening channel on that channel,
everybody's gonna unsubscribe and be out. So we got to
have some sort of lottery gambling financial we do, so
we don't want to so much promote lottery tickets, but

(08:16):
we got to stay in the lottery world. So we thought,
what if we did a challenge where we pick a
certain Okay, Jamie, I don't need you cringing the other.

Speaker 4 (08:30):
Guy that you just said, how many how many subscribers.

Speaker 1 (08:31):
As you have?

Speaker 3 (08:32):
I don't know, like a ga billion, a billion.

Speaker 4 (08:35):
That's why the challenge is probably work for him.

Speaker 1 (08:38):
Right, Well, we don't know, let's hear what this is.

Speaker 3 (08:40):
Yeah, I mean you just came up with their great
concept about the Booze challenges, and you know, what I mean.
So you've got to start somewhere.

Speaker 4 (08:46):
You know about mister b When the ladies in the
background with their hat on pulling.

Speaker 3 (08:50):
Weeds, don't worry about the lady in the background.

Speaker 1 (08:55):
She'll be out there for hours.

Speaker 3 (08:58):
Definitely will. So we thought, what if we did a
lottery scratcher channel where we haven't worked out all the details.
I would love feedback where each maybe month, maybe quarter,
something like that, we are putting lottery tickets up against

(09:19):
something else. So let's say we in this quarter are
going to scratch one thousand dollars worth of lottery tickets,
but we're also we're also gonna invest one thousand dollars
in a stock and by the end of the quarter,
we'll see what made us more money or what lost

(09:40):
us more money.

Speaker 4 (09:40):
James, I just I understand. I understand your husband's watching
a lot of YouTube stock stuff.

Speaker 1 (09:47):
I get that.

Speaker 4 (09:48):
So I don't think the two correlate. Like, if you're
into the lottery stuff, are you really into stock stuff?

Speaker 1 (09:54):
Well, you know what I mean.

Speaker 3 (09:55):
Lottery people a month a quarter, I set a quarter again. Yeah,
I don't know, guys, I don't know. We're just working
it out. The amount is in stock.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
What would be another example.

Speaker 3 (10:11):
Yeah, like lottery, not lottery tickets, like slot machines.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
That makes pay one thousand dollars in slab Again.

Speaker 4 (10:19):
You guys need thousandjack like that makes more sense.

Speaker 3 (10:23):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (10:23):
Like video, Yeah, you can't really record yourself, but I
see again you're not supposed to, so.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
I've done it before. If you get permission from the casino,
you're allowed to. You're just not allowed to take bets
from other people. Like I can't take bets from my
YouTube followers and play for somebody else.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
I'm just me.

Speaker 3 (10:43):
I have to pay for myself.

Speaker 1 (10:44):
How come I have to get off my phone. Then
when I'm gambling, I'm at the card table.

Speaker 3 (10:49):
I don't know those rules. But at the slot machine
you can get permission. Oh sorry, I was talking about
slots because slot. Yeah, I don't know the rules about
the table. Probably not at the.

Speaker 1 (10:59):
Table, but now that's a channel.

Speaker 4 (11:01):
Yeah slapped slopp it Okay, dude, Honestly, you dress skanky

Speaker 1 (11:09):
And you go around what is she do inder that
handle
