Speaker 1 (00:00):
So it's pretty crazy. Thorne has been telling us about
some of this new baby gadgets that he has. Listen,
it's been well, thirteen years for me since my last kid,
and you know, sixteen, fifteen, whatever, how many years you
know for you guys, it's been a while since we've
had children. So it looks like they've come a long
way some of this stuff that they have for babies,
(00:23):
which is pretty awesome. Like that snow thing you were
telling us earlier, that is like a game change.
Speaker 2 (00:28):
Yeah, it's awesome, man. The SNeW is is a game
changer because like you put them in and the snow
and it detects when he's crying. So you could you
press a button or on your phone you use it,
and the.
Speaker 1 (00:39):
Phone stuff in itself is Apple didn't have any of that.
Speaker 2 (00:43):
Sw so I could be here, but because it's to
my internet or I don't know bluetooth, I don't know
how it works, but it's cecked to my phone somehow,
so I could be out of the room or whatever.
Speaker 1 (00:53):
And then an app, it's an app.
Speaker 2 (00:55):
I could press it and it was slowly start to
rock him and play louder white noise and then if
he starts crying. Then it really rocks. It looks like
it's gonna get him seasick, but it doesn't. It's soothing him.
And as soon as he starts to calm down, it
starts to go slow again. That's crazy, and he's asleep.
I was talking to my grandma, and my grandma's ninety four.
I go, I go, grandma, how the fuck did you
(01:16):
guys have kids back then? It must have been ten
fucking times harder. Yeah, because it's crazy to think about that.
They didn't do that in the fifties. Yeah, Like, it's insane.
Speaker 1 (01:25):
So Thora has all these different gadgets and things like that,
and one of the newer gadgets that he has is
basically a camera. We all had baby cams and monitors
and things like that, but his is like, honestly next level.
He was showing me when we were together at Survivor
series and stuff like that. You could constantly be looking
at this kid. Yeah, well it detects again crying and
(01:46):
noises and like that motion. Well, Thor didn't really think
about that when he was having some alone time with himself.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
We ain't done yet.
Speaker 1 (01:57):
It's time one podcast a.
Speaker 3 (02:01):
Completely uncensored and unacting filtered except for that part.
Speaker 4 (02:08):
The show's after show starts.
Speaker 5 (02:12):
Now, can I say real quick, just for our listeners
who are maybe watching on YouTube, there is not a
fifth member of the show. Just for some fucking reason,
there's a deer in my camera.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
Means some one else is called a Christmas decoration.
Speaker 5 (02:29):
If you look at anyone else's they don't have a deer.
Speaker 1 (02:32):
Like hear me complaining about it.
Speaker 4 (02:36):
I mean, he's over your shoulder. This deer is like
over you. He's in front of my face. So anyway,
I'm just pointing that out. Sorry, I had to get
that off. Sorry that you lovingly placed those to share
my camera with a deer.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
Your camera or the deer's camera. You're in the deer shot. Okay,
can you move to the side place? I mean, okay,
Weirdly enough, the deer's head is bigger.
Speaker 4 (03:04):
Than yours and you're gone.
Speaker 1 (03:08):
You were gone. That's insane.
Speaker 4 (03:10):
Anyways, had to get that off my chest.
Speaker 1 (03:12):
Okay, great, uh anyway, ye, So yeah, these gadgets and
things like that, none of us had, you know, we
had little baby monitors, but you know, some of them,
like ours, didn't have a camera. It was just a
noise one and so it would make noise when the
baby would make noise, and you get up and go
check it out or whatever.
Speaker 4 (03:29):
Yeah, mine had a camera on it, but it was
like black.
Speaker 2 (03:32):
Tired somebody, right, and they would just stand there and
stare at your baby.
Speaker 1 (03:35):
That was Scott sty would just stand there.
Speaker 5 (03:38):
But the image was like black and white and kind
of like grainy, and in no way did it have
an app or connect to my phone, Like I had
to look at the little device in my house.
Speaker 4 (03:49):
Yep, and then I remember ours was the same with
black and grainy.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
But then you guys have color TVs.
Speaker 1 (03:54):
Well, but I would walk.
Speaker 5 (03:56):
Like the range was only like ten feet, so if
you're in the next room, you're kind of which.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
Is like, was there was there internet back then?
Speaker 1 (04:05):
Yeah, it was. It's a little different. Things have come
a long way, apparently. Guess Store is literally any time
of the day, anywhere he is, he can just bring
up on his phone the camera and see clear's day,
what the baby's doing. It's crazy.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
So, uh, this was one of the things in our
Amazon our Amazon our baby shower list of the registry,
registry whatever, and Sky is the one that got us this.
It's called an owl owlet. I always say it roll.
My wife always good outlet oulet. It's an outlet socking camera.
Speaker 5 (04:37):
But you guys remember this when he was like, thank
you for buying the sock, and I'm like, what are
you talking about. I didn't buy you a sock. I
bought you a baby monitor. But because of tech, I
guess this monitor comes with us.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
To check this out what the sock does.
Speaker 2 (04:50):
So right now I'm not going to show the camera,
but I have like that so if he could, so
I'm clearly seeing him in color, not black, and and
I'm looking at what the best of that, so if
anything happens, I see what's going on. So if he's
just so, it immediately notifies me on my phone like
a text message. And I haven't set up for critical notifications,
(05:11):
so no matter what, I will get a notification and
it will say it will say detecting sound, detecting motion
or crying detected.
Speaker 4 (05:18):
And is that from the sock or is that that's.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
From the camera microphone? Yeah, so and like if it's
crying detected, it will detect me like critical. So then
I'll immediately open it up because it's notification and it
will show me what's going on. If he's crying, he's moving,
maybe he's just dreaming or whatever. Now the sock it
goes on his uh left foot, of his pinky toe,
and it's like wraps around like the foot wh're supposed
(05:43):
to put it like underneath the pinky toe, so it
looks like a little brace, but like underneath it. And
it detects his heart, his heart rate, and his oxygen level.
And it tells me the kind of sleep he's in.
So it says if he's in a light sleep, or
if he's in a moderate sleep or a deep sleep.
And then and then it's.
Speaker 1 (05:59):
Said, don't need it says.
Speaker 2 (06:01):
And then it says if he's peaceful, or if he's wiggling,
so it'll be a peaceful sleep, or he's what what
are you going to do?
Speaker 3 (06:07):
Well?
Speaker 2 (06:07):
Because if it's in between and it's been like and
it tells me the length, I'll know. Okay, he's going
to be up soon, he's starting.
Speaker 5 (06:13):
It's a horrible thing for somebody like him to hypochondria.
Speaker 2 (06:17):
I hate, I hate to break it to you. My
wife is ten million times more than I don't even
want to put the olet sock. The Olet sock on
anymore because it's like it has so many notifications that like,
it's become too much where my phone's constantly beeping. And
with the owlet sock, if it has a base station,
and if it's not near the base station, then it
(06:38):
beeps like crazy. It wakes you up. You have to
put it on him all trying to get him on
him with his onesie. So I don't care if we
use that or not, but my wife, it has to
be on him. Oh wow, really, because I've done the
thing where you put your head near your your ear
near his mouth to make sure you're hearing him breathe.
I've done that times and this makes it easy. But
I'm past that point. He's not going to die, you know.
(07:00):
So that's that's what we have going on.
Speaker 1 (07:02):
Because that that honestly would give me anxiety all the time,
constantly checking that and being like, oh, just look.
Speaker 2 (07:08):
On we only we only use the sock at night
when he's when he's sleeping. That's the only time we
use it. You can never sleep, so he doesn't sleep
all the time all the time, so only in like
two hours at a time.
Speaker 4 (07:20):
So tech is crazy.
Speaker 1 (07:22):
It is pretty wild.
Speaker 2 (07:23):
And look at look at the picture. The picture. I can't,
I don't want the picture is crazy, yeah, is insane.
Speaker 5 (07:29):
Yeah, you know it's better than my ring can is.
Speaker 2 (07:34):
Yeah, so we have that. So, like I said, it's
a text motion sound and crying. So and it's in there,
and it's it's just on this little like uh like
tripod type thing and the camera hangs over his bassinet.
Speaker 4 (07:47):
And is it in your bedroom?
Speaker 2 (07:49):
It's in the bedroom. Yeah, yeah, I'm not gonna put
him in this droo room by himself yet, skuy. Well, no,
I don't.
Speaker 5 (07:53):
I don't know where then is I thought maybe you
had like a different basket.
Speaker 1 (07:56):
That's what a nursery is for babies, I know.
Speaker 2 (07:59):
But he's not ready yet. We get up, so we
get up so much and such a pain in the
ask walking back and forth. You're not ready, Yeah, we're not.
So so he's in there and and and that that's
in there. And I'll get notifications all the time. My
wife has the same app sugarnovocations all the time. Well
you know the other day, you know, it's been a
(08:20):
while since anything's happened. Well, it's just my wife. She
gave birth a month ago, so we're not having sex
anytime soon. Not, I mean I think.
Speaker 1 (08:31):
Right, no, no, no, yeah, there's.
Speaker 4 (08:38):
A lot going on. Bro, you don't want no part of.
Speaker 2 (08:41):
That happened down there, and I want to calls more,
you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (08:46):
Okay, So.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
So that hasn't happened. And then I've been just there's
so much going on that I haven't hired, i've attired,
I haven't been at all. What I was stressed. I'm
in the gym. Nothing I know.
Speaker 1 (09:04):
Here we go.
Speaker 2 (09:05):
Haley's one of our coworkers, made us these amazing cinnamon rolls.
The other day. Oh man, do some work. I've turned
I'm eaten dessert, but I'm also not eating, like I'll
forget to eat because we're doing you know, we're doing
so much, and like I'm forgetting to eat. So then
when I do eat, it's a lot, but I'm not
eating that much. It's a nightmare. So so, you know,
(09:28):
the other day, no one was home. Haley wasn't home,
she was out with the baby. I was just me.
So I'm like, so I started, you know, I was bored.
I go I was looking around. I was like, you know,
I might as well.
Speaker 1 (09:43):
Have some fun, A little worried about the load situation.
Speaker 2 (09:51):
Here more excited load, But I don't want to waste it?
Speaker 1 (09:59):
Are you prepared?
Speaker 2 (10:00):
Wait? I don't.
Speaker 1 (10:01):
I feel like it's been a couple of weeks.
Speaker 2 (10:02):
I don't think anyone give your pay some clean situation. Yeah, wow,
this was I had the shower, So I'm going right
in the shower after this, pol Scott, because you're so dirty. Yeah,
right in the shower after this. Okay, yeah, and uh
so you know, one thing leads to another. I go
to a certain website. I don't I don't need a
(10:23):
jerk mate. I like the jerk off alone. Well, I
got these videos now, I don't need jerk Roulette.
Speaker 5 (10:30):
I don't always to get these videos. I've never gotten
the jerks.
Speaker 2 (10:35):
Always asked me, are you tired of jerking off alone?
I go, no, I'm not. I don't need I don't need.
Speaker 1 (10:40):
A partner or I heard that's in the pre roll.
Speaker 2 (10:42):
Yeah, I don't, I don't need. I am very interested
to see what jerk roulette is about and who would
actually click on that and you win? I don't know,
I don't know. It also says there's people right in
my neighborhood who need a partner to drink off with.
Speaker 3 (11:03):
All right, you're getting a little a little too specific now,
right down, right down?
Speaker 1 (11:09):
And are they always so hot? I don't feel like.
Speaker 2 (11:12):
Yeah, they're just they're just sitting there with the camera
waiting to drink.
Speaker 5 (11:18):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (11:19):
I allegedly have seen this too.
Speaker 3 (11:20):
I mean a good job, good job for you to have.
You're sitting around waiting drink off with somebody. Wheel do
you sp I've never done it. Oh, I've never done it,
And I don't want to be a jerk. Yeah, I
don't know that that'd be great.
Speaker 2 (11:36):
And I know that browsers is free. That's what the
other's browsers by the way. Yeah, and I know it's
free now.
Speaker 1 (11:42):
And Emily corrected you, by the way, you.
Speaker 4 (11:44):
Are all perfect.
Speaker 1 (11:47):
Other day because it's free.
Speaker 2 (11:49):
Yeah, it's free now, it's free. With that large chick
that jumps now she's naked, it's like, whoa, Okay now
now he lost me. So yeah, we all know what's
talking about.
Speaker 1 (11:59):
I've never seen it.
Speaker 2 (11:59):
Yeah, you're so full ship. So so you know I
find you know, I no jerk made I find a
regular video. This is you know, Thor solo in regular
solo we know the weird shit you're into. I do
enjoy POV. I do enjoy and I'm watching it and
I'm using my phone and while i'm watching it, I
(12:22):
forget about the camera. So I'm watching it and I'm
mid jerk, and all of a sudden, the notification pops
up that says sound.
Speaker 1 (12:37):
I don't know, so and Hayley is gonna get the
same notification.
Speaker 2 (12:44):
That says sound. But I can you.
Speaker 1 (12:47):
Hear it, actually hear what's going on?
Speaker 2 (12:49):
Yeah, I can turn on the volume and yeah, you
hear it. Because yeah, because because like if me, if
she if he's in the bedroom like any like any
baby monitor and we're in the other room, we have
it on one of our phones with a sound on.
When you're watching him the sound on, so it's a
sound Now I can get away. I'm mid jerk, so
I'm not stopping, So I could get away with sound
(13:09):
detected because it could be anything, could be the dog's barking.
Speaker 1 (13:11):
But if she can hear what's going on, But.
Speaker 2 (13:15):
My point is she'll she'll only get the notification that
says sound detected. That won't do anything that.
Speaker 1 (13:20):
The dog, so she has to fully go.
Speaker 2 (13:25):
She's with the baby. So she probably thinks, O, the
dogs going crazy, or I just walking the room, I'm
on the phone or something. A minute or two goes by,
if that, and all of a sudden it says, crying.
Speaker 4 (13:40):
Cry.
Speaker 1 (13:42):
You were you ashamed of yourself? You just started crying.
Speaker 2 (13:47):
It wasn't me that was crying. Just to throw it
out there, nobody was crying, just to be clear. The girl,
the girl in the video, there were tears, but nobody
was crying on her face.
Speaker 1 (13:58):
Something this
