Odd Woman Out

Odd Woman Out

Odd Woman Out provides a space where women in the arts can reclaim their narratives and have fun while doing so! Hosted by Samantha Dawn Tuozzolo — affectionately known as “Tutz”— the show shines a light on the subtle and not-so-subtle ways women have been made to feel “othered” when being their odd selves. Whether on stage, behind the scenes, or in their everyday creative lives. Through honest conversations and unfiltered storytelling, Tutz and her guests open up about insecurities, resilience, and the power of showing up as their full selves. Each episode dismantles the pressures of appearance, judgment, and comparison that too often overshadow women’s achievements. From self-doubt to self-love, these discussions go beyond surface-level success to reveal the courage, creativity, and community that thrive when women support one another. Odd Woman Out is for embracing our odd and loving ourselves while doing so. It’s for women who know the struggle of standing in spaces not built for them and for those ready to rewrite the rules. If this podcast helps even one woman feel seen, validated, and a little more in love with herself — it’s doing exactly what it was created to do!

This week on Odd Woman Out, Tutz sits down with Kate Rockwell—and we are getting into the very wild road that somehow led from reality TV to Broadway to Mean Girls and motherhood. Before Broadway, there was Grease: You’re the One That I Want!—yes, THAT reality competition show. Then came Legally Blonde, where Kate made her Broadway debut understudying Elle Woods and basically got thrown straight into the deep end...

This week on Odd Woman Out, Tutz sits down with Orfeh—and we are OBSESSED. We’re talking rocker Orfeh, Broadway Orfeh, and the Orfeh who refused to let anyone put her in a box. Before Broadway, she was a rocker. Then came Legally Blonde, where she clawed her way to Paulette and proved that being weird, loud, different, and completely yourself can actually be the secret sauce. Orfeh gets VERY real about the bubble the...

Recorded at the Welcome to Times Square Studio, we get i...

Recorded at the Welcome to Times Square Studio, we go back to Av...

But before all of that? There was a little girl with an incredible imagination, imaginary fr...
