Speaker 1 (00:10):
This is a Jesse Kelly show. You are listening to
the Jesse Kelly Show. My name is James T. Harris.
Happy to be sitting here for Jesse Kelly. What is
this December the thirtieth, It is upon us. We just
have a little more than a day left in twenty
twenty five, and I'm ready for twenty twenty six. I

(00:33):
am ready. I have to tell you I'm not shocked.
I'm just sort of bothered as I watched the news
and see very little on the scandal that is rocking
the nation. That's because the media has decided that they
don't want to cover this. There's no good way to
cover it. When they kind of weighed in, they know

(00:54):
they sound stupid, they know they look stupid. And let
me be crystal clear. This scandal that took places wide
open in Minneapolis, Minnesota, This scandal that is now spreading
to cities like Boston and other cities like Los Angeles.
Right here in the valley, this scandal is the rubicon,

(01:18):
and the rubicon has been crossed. And I have to
also tell you that if heads don't roll because of this,
well there's going to be. It's going to be over. No,
not for me personally, not for you personally, but for
the credibility of anyone who ever said that that we're

(01:40):
here to drain the swamp. Yes, so I'm gonna say
this directly to the President of the United States, President Trump,
please hear me. I love you, love you, voted for
you three times, Sir. I trust that you have put serious,
capable people in place. I have some doubts, you know.
I'm still looking over they're at the Attorney General, and

(02:02):
I'm not too pleased. But this moment requires something the
American people almost never see anymore, real accountability. Because if
there are no indictments, if there are no arrests, if
there are no handcuffs cups, if there are no jump suits,
if there's no purp walk, no defendant standing before judges

(02:26):
the way January sixth, Americans have been hunted and humiliated
for for years now, then the curtain gets pulled back
for everyone. Unfortunately, sir, it would mean that MAGA was
treated as a slogan, not a standard. It would mean

(02:46):
that we're not really truly about making America great again.
If it comes to corruption and punishing those people who
have corrupted the system, it means that justice still flew
one way. It means the political class never intended to
live under the rules they enforce on the rest of us.

(03:11):
And I think that it is bubbling over. The media
is not covering it, but if you hit the right sites,
especially if you're on social media, you will see that
people are absolutely lived over this. Now, let's talk about
the people who are really responsible here. This fraud didn't
survive because it was clever. It survived because democrats run

(03:36):
cities and states like personal feefdoms, where accountability is optional
and loyalty is the ideology that matters most. It matters
more than honesty. We are watching a scam of epic proportions.
We are watching the American people get humiliated. This scam

(04:02):
lives because the inspectors didn't inspect. This scam exists because
the regulators did not regulate, and the bureaucrats didn't bother
and every one of them collects the paycheck from the
people they failed. We the people, are sitting here watching

(04:24):
the elites get wealthy. We the people, you know, we
ask how, We ask why. We don't get any explanations.
We want to know, how is it that Congresswoman ilhan
Omar went from being sixty thousand dollars in debt what
two or three years ago to now being worth thirty

(04:45):
million dollars. We're asking the same thing about alc We're
asking the same thing about Maxine Waters. We're asking the
same thing about Nancy Pelosi. How did these servants become
so wealthy? And when citizens do dare to ask obvious questions,

(05:05):
when they point to empty buildings, buildings, when when when
they talk about fake enrollments, when they question about missing money,
the Democrat machine does what it always does. They scream racism,
They smear, they intimidate, not because the charges, you know,

(05:30):
the charge is true, but because it's useful. It slows
things down. It's supposed to freeze us in place. And
then when the news finally gets around to mildly discussing it,
they're there. The attitude is just grading. I point you

(05:53):
to Abby Phillips. Abby Phillips on c IN and obviously
she was recently on a book tour and she showed
up on joy Read's show, and I was like, okay, okay,
this is it. They got joy Read off of MSNBC
because she was just far too toxic. Same thing with
Don Lemon Lemon Nation. But now they co opted Abby Phillips.

(06:17):
So she writes a book, she goes on tours, she
makes apologies, she makes excuses, and then when the biggest
fraud in America's history, it's put right in her face.
What does she do?

Speaker 2 (06:31):
Because this is about politics. I get that politics is politics.
But you know, honestly, you knock on the door of
a daycare center and you're like, let me in, let
me in. What do you expect people to do? You know,
in some of those cases there were children in there.
What do you want people to do in that situation?
Open the door and say come on in? When they

(06:53):
know that the Somali community is under attack, is being
threatened every single day, under attack? What is going on here?
Because this is about politics, I get that politics is politics.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
Politics is politics. You're not politics is politics. I get that,
But what do you expect when you not going to
Somali's door? What do you expect you are harassing these people?
What do you expect? These people are being threatened every
single date. No they're not, No they're not They're not

(07:28):
being threatened at all. Oh, but because Governor Wallace gets
up there and says you. I have to protect our community.
These people are under threaten. No, no, this is covered.
This is the elite protection racket in action. This is
how corruption hides behind identity. This is how the ruling

(07:49):
class keeps stealing while pretending to be morally superior. Abby
Phillips again, I want you to hear again, this is crazy.
We're talking about billions of dollars being drained out of Minnesota,
and we know that this is just one of many states,
most of them blue. At least all of them are blue,

(08:11):
and mimeal we ever rent one in, they're here and there.
But the gregious fraud are blue state Democrat governors, Democrat
run machines. And you have Abby Phillips here wanting to
make it about a race.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
Because this is about politics. I get that politics is politics,
but you know, honestly, you knock on the door of
a daycare center and you're like, let me in, let
me in. What do you expect people to do?

Speaker 3 (08:39):
Well?

Speaker 1 (08:40):
I expect people to let you in. I expect people to,
you know, sign you up if you want to get
your kid in the daycare center. I expect for some
business cards to be passed around. But well, what do
you mean, what do you expect for them to do?
And what about the fact that the place was devoid
of children, that it was empty abbey? What are you

(09:01):
talking about here?

Speaker 2 (09:03):
You know in some of those cases there were children
in there. What do you want people to do in
that situation? Open the door and say come on in
when they know that the Somali community is under attack.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
The Somali community is under attack. So again, when you
call out fraud, when you call out corruption, when you
call out the seat, all of a sudden, you as
a people are under attacked. No, honey, this is not
about race. This is about power. It's about democrats and
their media allies treating the American taxpayer like an ATM

(09:36):
that's not allowed to check the balance.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
Is being threatened every single day. What is going on here?

Speaker 1 (09:46):
What is going on here? What is going on here?
This is what happens when you call out fraud in
blue states, when you call out fraudulent and corrupt democrats, Well,
what is going on here? And here's the bottom line.
If nobody at the top pays a price for this,
real names, real charges, real consequences, then the message from

(10:07):
the elites is clear. The rules are for you. The
punishment is for you, and the benefits flow upwards to them.
Americans are seeing it now, and Americans are fed up,
and they're done being gas lit by the same people

(10:28):
who keep robbing them blind. Mister President, heads have to
roll on this. I'm talking politicians. I'm talking to people
who are culpable. We're talking about a machine, a well
oiled machine that has been feeding the Democrats and foreigners
for decades. And wait till you hear how the politicians

(10:55):
are handling it in Minnesota. We'll talk about that coming
up next. James T. Harris sitting in for the Jesse
Kelly Show.

Speaker 4 (11:05):
Miss dost Catch up.

Speaker 1 (11:09):
Jesse kellyshow dot com. You are listening to the Jesse
Kelly Show. My name is James T. Harris. I am
a talk show host out of a Phoenix, Arizona. On
My show, to Conservative Circus can be heard on five
f d KFYI seven ninety K s T in Tucson
or on the free iHeartRadio app. If you want to
follow me on social just go to my main hub

(11:32):
James Tharris dot com that you'll find all my show,
socials and my Clarity Report. We're talking about this scandal. No,
I'm not gonna let it go away. The media is
trying to sweep in another rug. But Corey that that
is Jesse Kelly's producer. He just brought up a very
interesting just observation here. This is being handed to Republicans

(11:55):
on the silver platter.

Speaker 3 (11:57):
It is.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
It's sort of like after that one woman did the
beautiful dance. Who I forgot what it was? I want
John the Baptist, and on a platter. Okay, oh, I'm
ashamed of this. I got I gotta deliver it up.
This is a layup, This is a this is easy.
We've been trying to, you know, get some of the

(12:20):
politicians that were behind the coup to do the purp walk,
the politicians behind January sixth to do the purp walk.
We've been talking about Epstein and the corruption there. This
one is too simple, and Democrats have been caught red handed.

(12:41):
I mean, and now the conspiracy theories are starting to
come out as well. We'll talk about that a little
bit later in this hour. But still, this is too easy.
Everybody understands this. Everybody sees this, and you know what
people are living. They're living at Democrats. Yes, but I

(13:02):
don't see enough Republicans out there, ANCHORCI. They're looking at
the news, They're looking at the nightly news. You know,
my mom's in town, she's watching the nightly news. Last night,
my smoking hot wife came to me and said, you know,
they're not talking about anything. They're not talking about the scandal.
They're going through things that happened throughout the year. No,
it's the end of the year and the problem is

(13:24):
too many Americas. This is how they get their information
from corporate media, and corporate media is doing the job
for the for the Democrat Party. They're not talking about
any scandals. Oh remember when President Trump was talking about
the auto industry, There'll be blood in the streets. So

(13:46):
what was that, Zach Fraser, He said, the media ran
with he's calling for energy, he's calling for revolution. No
he wasn't. Then you get something serious like this, and
the media go was almost completely silent. You know, they
did contact the Minnesota Department of Children. The Department of

(14:10):
Children says, I believe that children are the future. Thank
you treat from whale and let them lead the way. Anyway,
their response to this was absolutely incredible. When they asked, hey,
what are you gonna do about all of these daycare
centers that don't have any children. They're like boarded up,

(14:31):
blacked out windows, no cards in the parking lot. What
are you gonna do about that?

Speaker 5 (14:36):
Each of the facilities mentioned in the video has been
visited at least once in the last six months as
part of our typical licensing process for the current childcare
centers that have been named in the video. Week that
may change, but currently those individual centers, Oh.

Speaker 1 (15:03):
We've been going there, We've been checking on these at
least once or twice a month. Then you know what,
then you're stupid. No, No, you're not stupid. You've been
there twice a month. Maybe they got a heads up.
Maybe they gotta heads up that they're supposed to like
bring all the kids in because they're going to be inspected.
You know, they got a tip. Maybe that's part of
the you know, the the process, the routine there in Minnesota.

(15:25):
This is absolutely incredible And now we're getting all kinds
of information And what does the Minnesota Department of Children say?
What do they say? Well, you know we have been
doing we are checking on them regularly, and so far,
no money will be disrupted, no money will be interrupted,

(15:46):
all of the money will still continue to flow out,
all of the graph will continue to flow out, all
of the corruption. We will continue to buy the a
Ali's luxury vehicles, give them money to go on luxury vacations.
You'll continue to fund a terrorist out of Somalia. We
don't see anything wrong here, and the American people see

(16:09):
all of this. The American people are sitting here trying
to figure out. You know, I don't know if we
could have another kid. We can't afford to have another child.
We can't afford childcare. Meanwhile, you have people in different
cities across this country have daycare centers with no children
in it, collecting millions of dollars, millions of dollars. Once again,

(16:37):
the Minnesota Department of Children'ses.

Speaker 5 (16:40):
Each of the facilities mentioned in the video has been
visited at least once in the last six months.

Speaker 1 (16:46):
At least each of the facilities that were in the
video were visited at least once in the last six months.

Speaker 5 (16:57):
Part of our typical licensing process.

Speaker 1 (17:00):
Typical licensing process. All of these facilities have a license. Well,
he went into one building. They were supposed to be
like five or six of these and nobody's there. We
checked on them all at least once a month. Well,
did you notice something was wrong? There were no cars
in the parking lot. And you have five or six
daycare centers and one dilapidated building. Nothing to see here,

(17:23):
absolutely nothing to see here. And now we're learning that
it's not just these childcare centers, it's also real estate.
Wait do you hear what the realtors in Minnesota are
telling us? We'll get there. Coming up next, James E.
Harris sitting in for the Jesse Kelly Show.

Speaker 6 (17:40):
Feeling a little stocky, Follow like and subscribe on social
at Jesse Kelly Show.

Speaker 1 (17:47):
You were listening to the Jesse Kelly Show. My name
is James T. Harris. Happy to be sitting in for
Jesse Kelly. You can follow me just by going to
James T. Harris dot com. That's where all of my
social media is. You're talking about this big scandal. It's
not going to go away. It's not going to go away.
You know. Before we get to the real estate scam,

(18:07):
this popped up on a local news This is from
twenty to fifteen. From twenty to fifteen, a criminal case
shows how parents were in on the childcare fraud scheme
in Minnesota. Why how did they figure that out? They
had surveillance cameras showing parents dropping off their kids and

(18:30):
then taking them right back into the car after they
picked up that check.

Speaker 6 (18:34):
Order for the scheme to work, the daycare centers need
to sign up low income families that qualify for childcare
assistance funding. These surveillance videos are from a case prosecuted
by Hennepin County. They show parents checking their kids into
a center, only to leave with them a few minutes later.
Sometimes no children would show up, but either way, the

(18:57):
center would bill the state for a full day of childcare.
This video from that same case chose a man handing
out envelopes of what are believed to be kickback payments
to parents who were in on the fraud.

Speaker 1 (19:11):
Where was the money going? Wait, I don't know exactly
where it went. I don't know where that money went.
This is from twenty fifteen. I don't know where that
money went. That was ten video from ten years ago.
I'm telling you, this is absolutely insane what we're watching.

(19:33):
And again there's no other conclusion here. The Democrats were
absolutely in on this. Now I can tell you. I
told you No News is not covering it. Actually, you
have to know. Fox News is all over this there.
This is the big story. The quality Learning center is
spelled wrong, ghost daycare scams zero kids, millions of taxpayer cash,

(19:58):
luxury whips at over all one hundred and ten million views.
Is this kid's video?

Speaker 7 (20:06):
Healthcare centers in Minneapolis and the independent journalists who published
that video, which now has over one hundred million views,
tells Fox News the scam is extensive.

Speaker 5 (20:16):
I'm knowing about the front taking place for a long time.

Speaker 1 (20:18):
Minnesotas I've been telling me for a long time about
the smaller fraud that is taking place.

Speaker 4 (20:22):
And that's just a tit.

Speaker 1 (20:23):
When people say it's a to Blacksberg, it really is,
because there's billions of fraud inside the state of Minnesota
right now. It's not just inside the state of Minnesota
right now. I mean, as we said, it's happening in
other places. It's popping up all over the place. This
is crazy. But it's not just when it comes to
healthcare or childcare. You've got a one reeltor in Minnesota

(20:48):
who was spilling the tea on how the Somalis are
buying houses des need of them as daycares. Nobody's in there,
and they're collecting millions.

Speaker 3 (20:57):
Here in Minnesota. A local worlater reached out to me
to tell me about another way that Simonians are scamming
Minnesota's out of their taxpayer dollars. In her community alone,
Smillians have bought up over four hundred and fifty five homes.
They buy these homes claiming they're turning these homes into
home healthcare centers. She says, the way we know Smalians
have bought these homes is because all of a sudden,

(21:19):
extremely nice cars start showing up. Mercedes, BMW's, the nicest
cars are parked in the driveway. And she said, by law,
the state will not come out and inspect these homes
and make sure these homes even have clients living in
these homes. She also said as a realtor, she cannot
disclose to people wanting to buy homes in this neighborhood

(21:40):
that Somalians have bought that home and they're using that
as a home healthcare center. She said, these homes can
even take people in who've just been released from jail,
and the neighborhood does not need to know about this.
But She says, many of these homes do not even
have clients in them, but the state is writing them
checks every one for the clients that the Simonians say

(22:02):
are in these homes. And these Salonians are making millions
of dollars off of these homes every year. The Salonians
have figured out exactly the perfect plan as to how
to scam Minnesota taxpayers out of their money. They're making
on this, making millions of dollars, and the government here
in Minnesota is too lazy to go and check it

(22:24):
out and to see if there's even clients living in
these homes. The fraud in Minnesota is so deep.

Speaker 1 (22:30):
It is deep. I don't know that they're too lazy
to find out. Too lazy. I think that they're all
bought off. I mean they have to be, they're all
bought off. Well, what we're seeing here this fraud. You
cannot tell me that the governor was not aware of this.
You can't tell me that members of the legislature were

(22:53):
not aware of this. You can't tell me that the
Attorney General Keith Ellison, was not aware of this. Of
course they were. You can't tell me that ilhan Omar
without aware of this. I think she's a part of it.
What sixty thousand dollars in debt to thirty million net worth?
Come on, her husband, you know, goes from walking that

(23:15):
the main you donk I saw a video of it,
you know, having a multimillion dollar investment firm. Come on,
and no heads are rolling. Well, James, this is too soon.
I just played a video for you from back in
twenty fifteen. This is stunning. It's absolutely stunning. And of

(23:40):
course you know, this all goes to the top, This
all goes to Governor Walls. This is Walls fraud. Do
you think Tim Wawss will go to jail for this?

Speaker 8 (23:50):
So there is a criminal complaint, a formal criminal complaint
that's been filed against Tim Walls contending that he knew
there was fraud, as stated by over four hundred Minnesota
Department of Human Services employees that they told Governor Walls
years ago about massive fraud. According to Minnesota Statue three
point ninety seventy one, he was obligated to immediately report

(24:13):
that fraud or suspected fraud to the Office of the
Legislative Auditor, and then the OLA determines which law enforcement
agency that complaint goes to did that happen?

Speaker 1 (24:25):
Did that happen? Is that this is the day of guy.
This is the guy that was in the video, Uh,
you know working with the with the kid. Yeah, well
we're watching here is just absolutely crazy Nick Shirley with
a iPhone and then when he's with this I think
this guy's name is David. Didn't give his last name,

(24:47):
and I understand why, because they're being harassed. They tried
to go out again and they were met with a
bunch of hostile somallies dropping that bombs telling them to
get out of here. This is our in our neighborhood.
I was born here. I'm from Minnesota. What are you
talking about? Where are you from? This is crazy? Will

(25:09):
Will will walk go to jail for this? That's the question.
That's the question. As that's on the floor. Will he
paid the price? Did nothing?

Speaker 8 (25:20):
He did nothing, And it's being investigated right now and
we should hear something pretty soon.

Speaker 1 (25:24):
Oh we should.

Speaker 3 (25:25):
Do you think he's been profiting off of this?

Speaker 1 (25:27):
Oh? Come on now, I do.

Speaker 8 (25:28):
I've heard that he's building several houses outside Minnesota. I
don't think he owns a house in Minnesota. He originally
is from Nebraska. He lied about receiving an award from
the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce, he lied about his military status,
he lied about individual fertilization. The man is a pathological liar.

Speaker 3 (25:46):
And you think he fears the Simonians that's why he's
protecting him, or do you think he just gets money
from this.

Speaker 8 (25:51):
I think it's the fear of being called an Islamophobe,
a racist. But I also think that it's all about
political power because they're voting in a block and he
wants every one of their votes.

Speaker 3 (26:03):
And he's been getting him because he's running for his
third term here in Minnesota.

Speaker 8 (26:07):
He has no business being in any elected office period,
let alone being governor of Minnesota. It's a disgrace that
the state of Minnesota has elected him not once, but
twice and now potentially a third time. I'm hoping that
this fraud investigation causes him to.

Speaker 1 (26:22):
Resign, resign. I'm hoping that he goes to jail. I'm
hoping that this fraud investigation ends up him being in
the Husky. Oh, we have more. James T. Harris sitting
it for the Jesse Kelly Show. Jesse Kelly backsian, you

(26:43):
are listening to the Jesse Kelly Show. My name is
James T. Harris. I am a talk show host out
of Phoenix, Arizona. My show, The Conservative Circus can be
heard Monday through Friday six am to ten am on
five fifty KMYI and Phoenix seven ninety k T in Tucson,
and of course on the free iHeartRadio app. You can

(27:04):
follow me. Just go to James Tarris dot com. All
of my social is there, plus the Clarity Report. Yes,
this scandal is nothing new. This scandal, well, they've been
at this for years. And you had a former Minnesota
representative who was sounding the alarm years ago. That would

(27:26):
be a Representative Jason Lewis. Nobody listened. Back in twenty fourteen,
Representative Lewis said Somali daycare fraud was a major issue
and that over one hundred million dollars simply vanished. Come
on back at twenty fourteen, he was talking about how

(27:51):
they were setting up fake childcare clients, collecting welfare funds,
kickback cash and moved it overseas. It's like it was
nothing yesterday. I played for you the testimony of a
former TSA agent who said, yeah, we're looking at suitcases
like a million dollars. Yeah, and they put out their

(28:12):
IDs and they were questioned here and there, but you know,
don't carry on. This is incredible. Here is a little
from a Fort Wait eleven years ago former Minnesota Representative
Jason Lewis spilling the.

Speaker 7 (28:32):
Te situation in my home state of Minnesota, where we've
got a number of daycare providers that are openly violating
federal and state laws and regulations, taking money for personal use,
using the money to set up a fraudulent childcare client,
and then providing a kickback has been reported.

Speaker 1 (28:50):
This is a major issue.

Speaker 7 (28:51):
There are allegations that well, not just several, You've got
twenty three childcare daycare centers either closed or under investigation.
The fraud may go as highs one hundred million dollars.

Speaker 1 (29:02):
Now, think about that.

Speaker 7 (29:03):
In fiscal you're twenty eighteen, Minnesota received one hundred and
twenty million in federal funding. The state contributed about fifty
million in matching and maintenance funds, and we may have
a fraud case of nearly one hundred million in this state,
with money then being transferred out of the country via
MSP airport. This is a big issue in my home
state of Minnesota. Can you share with me what your

(29:24):
agency is doing to investigate this?

Speaker 1 (29:26):
Oh?

Speaker 7 (29:26):
Okay, And I'm just wondering if we could not come
up with some form of stricter enforcement to monitor the
states that are receiving these funds, to make certain that
there's some sort of oversight here. This is very Thank
you for your testimony today.

Speaker 1 (29:40):
Thank you for your toy. I appreciate you, Thank you,
thank you. Eleven years ago. Eleven years ago, Wait a minute,
eleven years ago, that would be twenty twenty, twenty fourteen.
Who was president? Who was president back at twenty fourteen?

(30:01):
I think I think that it might have been Barack
Hussein Obama, the chalk that Jesus, or as we refer
to him here in the Southwest, Coco Jesus. That's what
Cocojesus was the president. This is this is just beyond belief.

(30:25):
And then, you know, remember I didn't bring this up.
This was brought to my attention. Just what was this?
We're looking at a legislature, a state legislator tour that
happened to be the only Democrat that voted against, you know,
getting welfare to illegals. What happened to her.

Speaker 4 (30:48):
Isn't it interesting how things start making a lot more sense?
Minnesota is now dealing with massive fraud scandals like millions
gone federal investigations. You're chaos, right, And then you look
back and you start thinking about June twenty twenty five,
when Melissa Hortman, the only Democrat in Minnesota, votes against

(31:08):
funding health care for illegal immigrants, and she is assassinated
four days later. At what point are we allowed to say,
that's one hell of a coincidence. Oh, and the killer
you must be asking about the killer previously appointed to
a state board by who you guess.

Speaker 1 (31:26):
Tim Walls.

Speaker 4 (31:27):
Now tell me that's not suspicious. Come on, now, you
have a lawmaker who breaks party ranks, You have a
state drowning in fraud, you have overlapping political connections, you
have a political assassination, and you want to tell me
that I should just shut up about all of that.
I'm not asking you to believe what I'm saying. I'm
just asking you to ask the right question.

Speaker 1 (31:46):
You can ask the right question. You can't ask a
question like that, girl, what you can't ask a question
like that? No, it just dawned on me that we
are living in an age, a new age of assassinations.
You had this law are was assassinated in Minnesota. Be
at Charlie Kirk that was assassinated in Utah. You had

(32:07):
President Trump, he had two attempts on his life, wasn't
in which he was shot? Look at what the Democrats
are doing, James. You can't put that on the Democrats.
Why can't die? Why can't I can you imagine if
this were a red state and this type of shenanigans
were going on.

Speaker 4 (32:26):
If this was happening in a red seat, she is
Oh my gosh, Netflix would already have a documentary about
it set up and ready to go. The media is
not on our side. So what I'm asking you here
is just to keep talking about this, keep sharing this video,
and let's get to the bottom of it, because this
is truly disgusting.

Speaker 1 (32:44):
Did you hear what she said? You got to keep
talking about this, You got to keep sharing videos. Melissa Hartman, Yes,
she was assassinated and her husband right, and yes, yes
it was an appointee by Walls that did the murder
that went away quick too. Isn't it amazing? Isn't it amazing?
Those inconvenient murders that just whoop, not even talking about

(33:09):
it anymore. They don't do they have a this was
in Minnesota. Do they have like a statue to her,
you know, something like like a George Floyd memorial. Do
they have a Melissa Hartman memorial or anything like that
up in Minnesota. I don't know. I don't live there,
but it is curious and no. I by the way,

(33:31):
we have to keep sharing videos. Do you hear what
she said? I mean, because most of the information that
we're getting right now is from social media, from detectives,
you know, shoe gum detectives on social media average everyday
people that are asking the questions that the media will
not ask that are due the investigation that the media

(33:53):
will not investigate. What is behind this? I mean, seriously,
we can dance around. I know how to cut it off,
President Trump. President Trump needs to stop all federal funds
rolling into these blue states with this type of abuse.
That's that's the first stage. Then we need the Attorney

(34:15):
General Pam Bondi to step damn well, Pam Bondi, we
have crossed the rubicon. The American people, well, they're just
not moving on from this, nor should they. I don't
know how this is going to turn out, but I
do know that the Democrats this has been in their scheme.

(34:37):
They're saying that A. Walls is running again for the
third term. I don't know you in light of all
of this, I don't know that he won the first
two because it seems to me that this fraud of
dis corruption is funding the Democrat Party, is funding their elections.
Let's have that conversation and we will. James T. Harris

The Burden

The Burden

The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three). Maggie had come to believe that the entire investigation of David was botched by the tiny local police department, or worse, covered up the real killer. Was Maggie correct? Was David’s claim of innocence credible? In Death and Deceit in Alliance, Maggie recounts the case that launched her career, and ultimately, “broke” her.” The results will shock the listener and reduce Maggie to tears and self-doubt. This is not your typical wrongful conviction story. In fact, it turns the genre on its head. It asks the question: What if our champions are foolish? Season 4 - The Burden: Get the Money and Run “Trying to murder my father, this was the thing that put me on the path.” That’s Joe Loya and that path was bank robbery. Bank, bank, bank, bank, bank. In season 4 of The Burden: Get the Money and Run, we hear from Joe who was once the most prolific bank robber in Southern California, and beyond. He used disguises, body doubles, proxies. He leaped over counters, grabbed the money and ran. Even as the FBI was closing in. It was a showdown between a daring bank robber, and a patient FBI agent. Joe was no ordinary bank robber. He was bright, articulate, charismatic, and driven by a dark rage that he summoned up at will. In seven episodes, Joe tells all: the what, the how… and the why. Including why he tried to murder his father. Season 3 - The Burden: Avenger Miriam Lewin is one of Argentina’s leading journalists today. At 19 years old, she was kidnapped off the streets of Buenos Aires for her political activism and thrown into a concentration camp. Thousands of her fellow inmates were executed, tossed alive from a cargo plane into the ocean. Miriam, along with a handful of others, will survive the camp. Then as a journalist, she will wage a decades long campaign to bring her tormentors to justice. Avenger is about one woman’s triumphant battle against unbelievable odds to survive torture, claim justice for the crimes done against her and others like her, and change the future of her country. Season 2 - The Burden: Empire on Blood Empire on Blood is set in the Bronx, NY, in the early 90s, when two young drug dealers ruled an intersection known as “The Corner on Blood.” The boss, Calvin Buari, lived large. He and a protege swore they would build an empire on blood. Then the relationship frayed and the protege accused Calvin of a double homicide which he claimed he didn’t do. But did he? Award-winning journalist Steve Fishman spent seven years to answer that question. This is the story of one man’s last chance to overturn his life sentence. He may prevail, but someone’s gotta pay. The Burden: Empire on Blood is the director’s cut of the true crime classic which reached #1 on the charts when it was first released half a dozen years ago. Season 1 - The Burden In the 1990s, Detective Louis N. Scarcella was legendary. In a city overrun by violent crime, he cracked the toughest cases and put away the worst criminals. “The Hulk” was his nickname. Then the story changed. Scarcella ran into a group of convicted murderers who all say they are innocent. They turned themselves into jailhouse-lawyers and in prison founded a lway firm. When they realized Scarcella helped put many of them away, they set their sights on taking him down. And with the help of a NY Times reporter they have a chance. For years, Scarcella insisted he did nothing wrong. But that’s all he’d say. Until we tracked Scarcella to a sauna in a Russian bathhouse, where he started to talk..and talk and talk. “The guilty have gone free,” he whispered. And then agreed to take us into the belly of the beast. Welcome to The Burden.
