Speaker 1 (00:00):
One, two, three, three two one. We are live.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
The after show podcast is on, and big shout out
to our friend Winning over here Winnie with the nice
plug on the show.

Speaker 1 (00:10):
Today for the after show. That's right, that was really
nice for you to do.

Speaker 3 (00:13):
Well.

Speaker 4 (00:14):
Whople want juice and this is juice.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
I don't really know what this is.

Speaker 5 (00:18):
I don't really know where it is either, but I
know we can swear, and I know we say things
sometimes that we would never say on air.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
Definitely, yeah, definitely, this is where you get the reil
behind the scenes.

Speaker 4 (00:31):
Yeah, the intimate you know, just you and me.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Yeah, and it's also you know, it's not really regulated
like the terrestrial streamers, you know, the radio. You know
the swearing part, and you know we're also on a
time constraint on the show. So here, you know, we
can do it with Winnie, we can do whatever the
fuck we want.

Speaker 6 (00:52):
Billy and Lisa in the Morning Present behind the scenes
look into Boston's favorite morning show. That's a little too
much information, The after show podcast and Winning.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
Yeah, this is the after show podcast.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
The show ends, the Billion leads a show and then
Winnie and I jump in here in my studio and
we start to talk some real ship.

Speaker 4 (01:14):
Oh don't Billy has his food show today.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
I know, but we have plenty of it.

Speaker 5 (01:17):
I know, but I was just letting you know. I
just thought about it because our meeting got canceled. Yes,
but he's a food show. I was just thinking about.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
Yeah, is he gonna come on?

Speaker 4 (01:28):
I don't know why. I don't know. He's a little
worked about Africa.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
Oh, of course he is.

Speaker 5 (01:33):
I'm sorry. But the persons the next him. I want
him to like be cautious. He comes back and gives
me something.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
Are you kidding me?

Speaker 1 (01:41):
Yeah, I mean we make a joke of it. Obviously,
I don't we hope that funny.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Well, obviously we don't hope anything bad happens to him.
And you know he'll get he'll get what he needs
to get.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
No, he won't. Maybe, no he won't. Maybe he does.

Speaker 5 (01:53):
Oh, if it's suggested, suggested means like you're dumb not to.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
The other part is what part of Africa is he
going to?

Speaker 4 (02:04):
He's I think, but he's probably.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
Staying in a very high end No, he's not.

Speaker 4 (02:10):
That's the whole thing.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
Really.

Speaker 5 (02:12):
Yes, so he had a high end trip plant, like
a probably a fifty thousand dollars safari. Right. Yeah, then
remember we had Donald the photographer on a couple of
weeks ago from what is it that's going that's so
that's his wife's like long lost second, third, fourth, fifth cousin, right, yeah.
So the reason this all went into motion was because

(02:34):
one of his wife's aunt died.

Speaker 4 (02:36):
He said she was like in her eighties. So they'll
go to the funeral and Donald's.

Speaker 5 (02:40):
Mom's there telling her all about what her son is
up to and how he does the photography in Africa,
the animals. Okay, so then Michelle gets in touch with him.
We have him on the show. Michelle, who's always wanted
to go to Africa, is obsessed with the idea that
was Billy. Now for you that don't know, Billy proposed
not with a ring, right, with a trip.

Speaker 4 (03:01):
And that was pre COVID, right.

Speaker 5 (03:03):
And then they even got married three years ago and
still have not gone on their safari.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
Right, So she wants to get an emotion. Right.

Speaker 5 (03:12):
Well, now they're going with Donald right in one of
his photography classes where you sleep among the wolves and
the and the bears and the tigers and the lions, right,
and there's no there's no like five star hotel.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
Right, no, what he's accustomed to.

Speaker 5 (03:31):
Right, there's it's it's a vegan only trip, right, meals only.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
Michelle is Michelle vegan.

Speaker 5 (03:40):
But this, this particular thing that going on is vegan
only meals. And then, because Donald is so well known
and well versed in being, you know, a photographer over there,
he has exclusive access to the safari, into the range
that other places won't.

Speaker 4 (03:59):
Like, you know, you go into to the land, no problem.

Speaker 5 (04:01):
So their idea is like, well we'll get a closer
look at the animals, blah blah blah blah. But they're
sleeping and I think like huts.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
So basically, the chances of him getting some kind of
disease is higher.

Speaker 5 (04:15):
Than what we thought because he's not going on a
high end safari. He's going on a like discovery like trip.
How you see the lion is approaching the cub or
the lion is approaching the antelope, it will pounce the.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
Moment the lion is approaching Billy.

Speaker 4 (04:35):
Costa, Yes, he will approach the man and tear his
arm off.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
So yeah, we'll keep following this.

Speaker 5 (04:41):
It's not going to be what you think it would
be for Billy Costa. And I swear to God if
he brings back something, there's a long list of that's.

Speaker 4 (04:52):
What whereies me.

Speaker 5 (04:53):
And because think about it, like when people would have
like certain parts of the country, I mean the world
where like they can't handle the food because it's just
cooked differently.

Speaker 4 (05:01):
It's it's a different wa whatever our body like.

Speaker 5 (05:04):
Unfortunately, we get Americans we are so used to I
guess being protected that like we can't eat like like
you go to Mexico and you eat, like at a
Mexican restaurant. Like in Mexico, you might get something you're
not used to and then you have diarrhea.

Speaker 4 (05:19):
For three days. But any other person that lives down there,
they're fine, right.

Speaker 5 (05:23):
You know what I mean, Like we're not used to
cert like we have certain preservatives in our food.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
You know my dad gets sick every time he goes
to Peru. Yeah yeah, Mexico. Don't drink.

Speaker 5 (05:32):
He has gotten sick in Mexico. Her sons, I mean
her husband, Like, so you gotta.

Speaker 4 (05:37):
Go to Africa.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
Well he has to go and he has to deal
with it. Hopefully he'll do what he has to do.
But I'm gonna still keep making fun of him because
it's funny.

Speaker 5 (05:45):
Yeah, but you know what's funny is I know we
started making fun of him like you did.

Speaker 4 (05:48):
It was funny.

Speaker 5 (05:49):
But now I'm getting freaked out because, like, what did
he brings home something?

Speaker 1 (05:52):
Monkey pox?

Speaker 4 (05:53):
I don't want the pox I got. I got chicken
pox when I was kidding.

Speaker 5 (05:58):
Oh really, and you never have the baxt No, because
my sister's funny. My sister, he's younger than me, and
she got the vaccine but before, but I was I
got it before they had the vaccine.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
Yeah, I never got it. I never got the chicken pox.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
So anyway, Whennie, I uh have you know, you know
how we were saying we could say whatever we want
on the podcast here.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
Yeah, Big Tomorrow Morning, Big World premiere.

Speaker 4 (06:22):
Wait you didn't say it?

Speaker 1 (06:24):
I mean, why not? We talked about it on the
show this week collaboration.

Speaker 5 (06:31):
Oh shit, Bruno and Lady Ye is there a teaser?

Speaker 1 (06:36):
It's not a teaser. They might be a teaser, but
I don't know. I didn't see it.

Speaker 4 (06:39):
But we are world, Marian, What the fuck did you
get an email that?

Speaker 2 (06:43):
I got an email? On the the the imaging you
know what I mean? So, but I was I was
looking I didn't see it anything so quick.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
I know.

Speaker 4 (06:53):
Is it a secret that's world premiere?

Speaker 1 (06:57):
Yeah, it's a secret except for us in the after show.

Speaker 4 (07:00):
Okay, you just let that out the bag Broye.

Speaker 2 (07:03):
Yep, so she teased it on Tuesday and then, uh yeah,
I mean I think it is.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
I mean, if I'm getting sent top secret information.

Speaker 2 (07:11):
That you're just that, I just blurted out, Wow, who cares,
what's the big deal?

Speaker 1 (07:17):
What's what's what's really gonna have?

Speaker 4 (07:19):
I'm not gonna lie I.

Speaker 5 (07:20):
As much as I don't like her, I'm excited for
New Bruno.

Speaker 4 (07:24):
I love his music.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
I think it's gonna be up tempo.

Speaker 4 (07:27):
I don't know, I hope.

Speaker 7 (07:28):
Actually it's like a slow Oh really, they don't like
Slowly Gaga?

Speaker 4 (07:33):
No, I don't like Fastly. I don't know. I like like.
I like her with the song that she sings in.

Speaker 7 (07:39):
Oh but you don't like Shallow No?

Speaker 4 (07:45):
No, I don't like that.

Speaker 1 (07:47):
Like they don't like bad Romance.

Speaker 3 (07:49):
No.

Speaker 4 (07:50):
I don't like her upbeat ship right, I don't like that.
I don't like any of her music really.

Speaker 5 (07:55):
Right, But the few times I've heard her sing that
I like her voice is when it's like a more
R and B sultry type vibe.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
Oh so you don't like them, right?

Speaker 5 (08:06):
Oh no, she goes right through my nails on chalkboard.
I fucking don't understand the hype.

Speaker 1 (08:10):
About her at all.

Speaker 5 (08:11):
She's an artist, whatever, she's talented. She has a good voice. Okay, fine,
I just don't like her. But what I will say
is I think she can. If she can be a
little bit more stripped down and just use her god
given voice to sing a nice bout, I'd be.

Speaker 4 (08:25):
Happy with it.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
I just very critical when it comes to music.

Speaker 5 (08:30):
And then honestly, shallow cho is just like it's the
whole like connection with her, like pining over Oh Bradley,
if he believed in me when no money believed to me.
If you can get one person in the room of
ninety nine to believe in you, that's all the matters.

Speaker 1 (08:48):
And I don't get the rage, don't.

Speaker 4 (08:50):
I just I can't. She's fucking when you can't.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
Then how funny is it that you how you feel
about Lady Gaga and then she's collaborating with your favorite
Bruno Mars.

Speaker 4 (09:01):
I know, I know, I know that's funny.

Speaker 5 (09:04):
Wow, Yeah, But I'm I'm excited though, just to hear
what it is, because I love his music. I think
that one of the two things are gonna happen, right,
I'm either gonna love it right yes, or I'm gonna
be pissed that she's ruining Bruno marsh for me.

Speaker 1 (09:20):
Okay, you know.

Speaker 4 (09:21):
What I mean.

Speaker 1 (09:22):
Yeah, Well we'll find out.

Speaker 5 (09:23):
But I will say with Post Moon and Morgan Wallen,
I can't see Morgan Wallan, but that songs good. Yeah,
although I will say my current new song that I
l O V that s come out, it's Birds of
a Feather.

Speaker 4 (09:40):
Yeah, that song is I love Espresso, like that's a
hit whatever. But Birds of a Feather just is such
a fucking good ass.

Speaker 1 (09:47):
So it's a big hit. It's definitely a big but Espresso.

Speaker 5 (09:49):
Is bigger right now on the time, I mean you're
much with Birds of a Feather is on its way.

Speaker 1 (09:53):
It's on its way. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (09:54):
It just surpassed some crazy amount of streams and it's
moving up the countdown.

Speaker 4 (09:58):
So to the countdown, what was like the top three
last week?

Speaker 2 (10:01):
Well, I can tell you right now it was Ariana
Grande We Can't Be Friends, Espresso an Illusion du A
Lipa has been number one for five weeks, but Sabrina's
Espresso broke the countown record with eight weeks. Yeah, ari
Ariana Grande held the countdown record at the most weeks
at number one. Hold on, I'll finished my thought and

(10:23):
then she held that for a while, I think since
the Positions album, and then and then it was broken
by Sabrina Carpenter's Espresso eight weeks at number one on
the Kiss Top thirty Countdown.

Speaker 1 (10:35):
Look who the the wind brought in.

Speaker 3 (10:41):
The podcast?

Speaker 1 (10:41):
It is, Yes, it is.

Speaker 3 (10:43):
What are you talking about the countdown? Yeah, we're calling
a free preview of this weekend. No, we're talking about
what was last week in top three? What was number one?

Speaker 1 (10:50):
Espresso? It was Illusion.

Speaker 2 (10:52):
Illusion has been number one for five weeks. Du Alipa
and she knocked out Espresso, which was number one for
eight weeks.

Speaker 3 (10:58):
And that's what Positions was before.

Speaker 1 (11:00):
Yes, a couple questions for you. This is random. You
just walked in the mighty mckaye.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
He looks looks good.

Speaker 1 (11:07):
You look like a blueberry today.

Speaker 4 (11:08):
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (11:09):
Okay, I heard you called me a whale to I
didn't mean somebody texted me. They just called you a baby.
Way it was more you know, well, Billy doesn't know
how to shut the fuck up. I was trying to
transition into your into your.

Speaker 4 (11:26):
Speak of a primate. So it just depends on what
we're talking about.

Speaker 2 (11:29):
Two questions for you, okay, as somebody who's on a
boss level to us. Okay, but what boards Well, what
would be the punishment? Right if we were to.

Speaker 1 (11:44):
Leak eight? We yeah, this is a team.

Speaker 2 (11:48):
Oh no, honey me if we were to leak out, okay,
if if one were to leak out that there is
a this is on the after show that there is
a possible secret World premiere tomorrow, Uh, it could be
pretty bad.

Speaker 3 (12:10):
What did you say?

Speaker 1 (12:12):
Well, we said that there's there.

Speaker 4 (12:15):
I don't know what we did.

Speaker 3 (12:16):
You give any details, both of you, specifically winning winning.

Speaker 4 (12:20):
I didn't even know he told me about it. Wait,
he didn't do anything.

Speaker 5 (12:23):
Although I will say, did you see that Bruno Mars
and Lady got got teased on social that they're doing
a project together.

Speaker 1 (12:28):
I saw brun Mars had a shirt with Lady Gaga
on it.

Speaker 4 (12:31):
Well, yeah, did you see she tees like they're doing that?
It's all over the socials?

Speaker 3 (12:35):
Is that true?

Speaker 1 (12:36):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (12:36):
Wow? Interesting? Okay, So it's top secret. There is a
top there is a top secret. Okay, come, I don't
know if it's Bruno or though.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
Oh we don't know who it is. So tomorrow morning
there is a premiere or not there is? Yeah, all right,
top secret. Okay, so no repercussions. Good, good to know.
Second question, Second question, it could be.

Speaker 3 (12:59):
The new p REXA.

Speaker 1 (13:01):
I'm on the edge of my seat for that, right,
I know, so exciting.

Speaker 4 (13:08):
When she's on the radio, I won't turn it off.

Speaker 3 (13:09):
She actually put out like a song that nobody talked about,
which one three months ago and is like a like
a banger.

Speaker 1 (13:16):
I know, I know what we're talking about. It was
so good.

Speaker 3 (13:17):
It was better than anything she's made.

Speaker 4 (13:20):
She's a writer, she has written a lot of songs. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (13:24):
I always think it's not to go off topic, but
I think it's so interesting how songwriters can write huge
hits for other people, but they always make terrible music
for themsel.

Speaker 2 (13:34):
How about this transition that transitions into my second question,
just like the whale.

Speaker 1 (13:39):
Yes, it's some stories right themselves. Okay.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
I noticed that Charlie XCX is a extra on the
count on this week. I wanted to ask you why
are we playing Charlie XCX. Everybody's talking about.

Speaker 1 (13:54):
We actually did?

Speaker 3 (13:54):
We just at night?

Speaker 5 (13:56):
We did.

Speaker 3 (13:56):
We're playing it at night on Kiss.

Speaker 2 (13:57):
It's all I see is this Brat Summer, you know,
Brat Summer and Charlie XCX.

Speaker 1 (14:02):
And then she had to new song with Billy, and
I was like, why are we playing more of it?
It's like it's very young can have music.

Speaker 3 (14:11):
I'm gonna get shipped from the gay community for saying this,
but the music is like fine, okay, it's like it's
good think.

Speaker 4 (14:17):
Of gays, Okay, okay.

Speaker 5 (14:19):
So I was listening she Kiss went Away the other
day maybe I don't know what it was in the afternoon,
right and we were playing Lunch by Billie Eilis Kiss
went Away. We're playing a whole song about her eating
somebody out.

Speaker 4 (14:29):
I did not know that we were doing that.

Speaker 1 (14:31):
We didn't know that we played.

Speaker 4 (14:33):
I didn't know. I didn't know we're playing because she's
talking about eating somebody out.

Speaker 1 (14:37):
I couldn't eat that lunch.

Speaker 3 (14:39):
I looked at like the end of like mid year playlists,
the top songs we played. That's like number fifteen Lunch
on the year.

Speaker 1 (14:45):
Yeah, that's aware of it.

Speaker 4 (14:47):
I never heard it.

Speaker 1 (14:48):
When I was looking to play we played plenty of
straight people sex music.

Speaker 4 (14:51):
No, that's you know what, that's true, But that's true. No,
that's I hate as new to the community. I'm all
for eating out. Okay, I'm just saying.

Speaker 1 (15:02):
I was, Oh, you want to know that's a different podcast. Okay,
so do you still do that podcast?

Speaker 5 (15:08):
No?

Speaker 4 (15:08):
Bro, it just took too much of my time for
no reward.

Speaker 5 (15:11):
Well, I was like number twenty eight all in all
of like the podcasts of iHeart, I saw not a dollar.

Speaker 2 (15:17):
Well you're talking about that, this might get awkward podcast
one with fore Yeah you know what happened?

Speaker 3 (15:22):
Was there a falling out?

Speaker 7 (15:23):
No?

Speaker 1 (15:24):
It got awkward?

Speaker 4 (15:25):
Yeah yeah. I was like, So, I don't know if
you ever listened to it. It's like one hundred and
fifty episodes.

Speaker 3 (15:30):
I tried to listen to it. I couldn't.

Speaker 1 (15:32):
It's really really too much.

Speaker 5 (15:34):
You love it though, but it was basically me talking
about every fucking sexual position I'm in, and I'm like,
what do you do this weekend?

Speaker 4 (15:40):
Not in chill? I'm like, okay, like can you get
me anything?

Speaker 6 (15:44):
Like?

Speaker 4 (15:44):
It was just basically me pouring my heart out and
him like critiquing my.

Speaker 2 (15:48):
Life, which is actually a shame because if you were
still doing the podcast would get lesbian action.

Speaker 4 (15:52):
Oh my god, yeah, what color was that?

Speaker 3 (15:56):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (15:58):
Oh my god, I'm just saying yeah, but.

Speaker 5 (16:01):
You know, so it was just and then we were
doing like three, you know, so many episodes and they
were like hour long, you know I mean, and it
was the only thing.

Speaker 3 (16:08):
That's my issue with podcasts. I can't do more than
fifteen minutes.

Speaker 5 (16:10):
And my only thing with that is it was the
only thing that I was doing here that wasn't in
my contract, that I wasn't contractually obligated to do.

Speaker 4 (16:17):
So I was like, why would I do Like at
that point, why would I keep doing it?

Speaker 3 (16:20):
Well, you do things for fun sometimes I did it
fun for two years. Well it was two years.

Speaker 4 (16:25):
Yeah, it was a good one, and honestly it helped
me get to wear it.

Speaker 3 (16:27):
And now you have this. This is one of the
biggest podcasts of the building.

Speaker 4 (16:30):
I know, we're still waiting on our bonus. Can you
help about with that?

Speaker 1 (16:32):
By the way, Well, let's see if you hit it.

Speaker 4 (16:34):
So we did, we did, we did, we did, and
they claimed they paid it to us and I looked
at it with him.

Speaker 3 (16:41):
You should ask our real boss.

Speaker 4 (16:42):
I did, and he's like, they paid it. He did
not notice it. I go, I would notice it.

Speaker 3 (16:47):
When he's over here making too much money. She doesn't
notice the I was.

Speaker 4 (16:51):
Like, no, I literally would notice. Trust me, I have
two dollars and I account after a parent I've hit.

Speaker 3 (16:57):
I shouldn't disclose this, but I hit a bonus once
in my entire time here at this company, and they
tax it so hard that sometimes you genuinely can't tell,
like if you do like other parts.

Speaker 5 (17:09):
Sometimes arth was a good amount of money, Like it
wasn't crazy, but it was a good amount a couple
of bills, and like neither of one has got it,
and we know how much it was, and we both
didn't get it.

Speaker 3 (17:20):
I'm sure it'll come. They can't.

Speaker 4 (17:22):
They said they paid out us to May. They said
they paid us at May one.

Speaker 1 (17:27):
It's I did, look, I didn't see it mine. So well, Yeah, he.

Speaker 3 (17:31):
Doesn't want any boss, I said, I said, you're using
that term offully loosely.

Speaker 4 (17:38):
Yeah, you know one day you will be.

Speaker 1 (17:40):
Maybe maybe, but we have to wrap up it before
we go.

Speaker 2 (17:43):
Just in all seriousness, in all seriousness, here, do I
have to edit out what I said earlier?

Speaker 1 (17:49):
If I did drop possible names of the world.

Speaker 5 (17:52):
We did a whole little thing about how I can't
stand Lady Gaga, but I love Brunha Mars and it's
going to be such an awkward.

Speaker 3 (17:58):
Talking about it online, right, everybody is. I genuinely don't
know if that's the premiere tomorrow though.

Speaker 1 (18:04):
Oh we don't. Okay, well, I didn't say it. What
I said, it could be so awesome.

Boysober

Have you ever wondered what life might be like if you stopped worrying about being wanted, and focused on understanding what you actually want? That was the question Hope Woodard asked herself after a string of situationships inspired her to take a break from sex and dating. Taking a bold, unfiltered look into modern love, romance, and self-discovery, Boysober will dive into messy stories about dating, sex, love, friendship, and breaking generational patterns—all with humor, vulnerability, and a fresh perspective.
