Speaker 2 (00:12):
I'm good.
Speaker 3 (00:13):
I'm eating steak right now.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
I can see that.
Speaker 3 (00:15):
I am bro It's so tender. I don't even need
a knife. It's like butter.
Speaker 1 (00:19):
So this restaurant post nineteen seventeen, they dropped off some food,
and they not not some food. They dropped off lobster, steak, bacon,
all types of stuff.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
Looks Winny is manhandling it like a fucking lion, bad thing.
Speaker 1 (00:36):
I need to get a video of this. Oh my god,
let's see it. Okay, how good is that? There we go.
Speaker 2 (00:44):
You're really ripping that thing apart. Hold that up.
Speaker 1 (00:47):
Let me see that thing. Oh oh you like your
bloody I see that thing is still moving.
Speaker 3 (00:53):
I mean that's how it came. A good steak is
a medium rare.
Speaker 1 (00:56):
I think you know what. I'm leaning that way too.
I like media, you know, I don't like red red.
I like hot pink, but when.
Speaker 3 (01:04):
You're transporting it, you should cook undercook it because it's
gonna heat. It's gonna be in like the you know,
it's still like cooking itself if you want, you know
what I mean?
Speaker 2 (01:13):
Because it could it could. Okay, here's the question.
Speaker 1 (01:17):
They probably cooked it this morning, probably eight nine o'clock. Right,
he came around nine am. I took a steak to
bring home to eat for lunch. Right, have to weigh
it out and all that. So I won't be home
because I get my haircut today.
Speaker 2 (01:30):
It's Thursday.
Speaker 3 (01:31):
You're leaving the car.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
I don't know. I don't go home to like twelve.
That's too long. Well, I was even.
Speaker 3 (01:36):
Getting nervous because I was gonna bring home some, bring
home some, bring some home to my girlfriend. But I'm
going the gym first.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
So should I not eat it? Is that too long
to be not refrigerated? I don't know. Well, you know
what if I die? I die.
Speaker 4 (01:51):
Billy and Lisa in the Morning present a behind the
scenes look into Boston's favorite morning show. That's a little
too much information, guys, the after show podcast who hears
Justin and Winning.
Speaker 1 (02:04):
I was just listening to that intro. And that's my
buddy Matt who used to work here. He does production
and what they call him imaging what they call him radio,
They call him imaging. He left to work for another
radio company and he still does it. But he's back
in Boston. He moved away to work. I think he
went to California, but now he's back. He lives here
(02:24):
now and he just got married. I think he has
a kid now, so he's doing good. Shout out to him.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
He was. He was really good, really good production person.
Speaker 1 (02:33):
And you know what's crazy. He made that intro for us.
You know, because when Beck's left, I needed a new intro,
and so he made that intro for Bes and I
when he worked here, okay, and I loved it. But
then Beck's left, I needed a new one for Winny
and I and I had to hit him up. I'm like, bro, we.
Speaker 3 (02:50):
Did that for you for free.
Speaker 1 (02:52):
Yeah He's like, yeah, no problem, I'll do it right now.
Two seconds later he sent it back.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
So that was nice. Yeah, that was nice to him.
Speaker 3 (02:59):
So who're gonna as We had to have someone to
do the commercial for this one, Kevin the sweeper.
Speaker 2 (03:06):
Yeah, well it'll be the voice girl.
Speaker 3 (03:08):
Oh yeah, we gott to send it up.
Speaker 2 (03:10):
We gotta give it to her.
Speaker 1 (03:11):
Yeah, our boss actually wants us to make a sweeper,
so like a little thing that promotes our after show
that's gonna run on the regular show towards the end.
So if you're listening to the show on the podcast
of the radio, you'll hear a sleeper that says, hey,
when the show ends, the after show begins with Justin
in winning.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
So that's cool. Yeah, I love that's cool.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
You know, it's not cool that two people guessed the
espresso machine machine for the Sabrina Secrets sounds.
Speaker 3 (03:36):
So yesterday we had two whole guests like a saw right,
then I don't can we can say the guess is
a guest or post? Then I guess three tens someone
to defibulator.
Speaker 2 (03:46):
Yeah, and then do you know what that sounds like?
Speaker 3 (03:48):
It's something maybe similar to that the noise. And then
today we had two espresso machines. Now, if you were
paying attention, we already did the espresso machine. So I
don't really know what to tell you.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
Actually, the first two that were guessed right, one was
the espresso machine, the other one was the soda can
Mountain dew Can.
Speaker 3 (04:06):
Actually thought that was a little harder than that.
Speaker 1 (04:07):
Yeah, they got it, and that was from Espresso, but
not everyone is from Espresso, so basically it's Espresso, Please
Please Please, feather nonsense. There's four songs. Those are her
four big radio hits, so that's what you have to
look for.
Speaker 3 (04:24):
I think her whole album could be a radio hit.
Speaker 2 (04:26):
It's a good album.
Speaker 3 (04:27):
I've been listening to it NonStop.
Speaker 2 (04:29):
Really. I listened to it when it first came out,
and I was really surprised.
Speaker 3 (04:33):
Graces, I felt, is that the one I like? Yeah?
There R and B one Yeah, yeah, taste is so good.
I think some Pickings is really good. Juno's really good.
Uh smile, yeah, I think, don't smile. I think they're
all good.
Speaker 1 (04:47):
It's so funny, like one song I skip, it's so
funny working in radio and working in this business. And
I know Billy can really attest to this because he's
been on for so long. But there's so many artists that. Okay,
Sabrina Carpenter, right, she's been around for several years. She
was a Disney star. Then she had songs and stuff.
We played one I think on kiss for a little
while called why right, But anyway, we played that. I
(05:10):
think so yeah, so before she exploded and all that,
I remember when she first came out with a song
and I was thinking, who the hell is Sabrina Carpenter
And then she could the kind of song kind of
went nowhere, and you know, it's really hard for artists
to get that big radio hit. And so now fast
forward twenty twenty four, she's like the next tailor.
Speaker 3 (05:30):
She was here in December for our jingle Ball. She
was great, lovely, lovely girl. We've met her a couple
of times, and at the time it was kind of
feather was like the big song, right, But since December
of twenty twenty three, the way she has even blown
up more insane.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
Yeah, this is her year. Yeah, and I'm telling you nonsense.
Speaker 1 (05:49):
Is it's similar to me good Graces, and it has
an R and B vibe not as much. But I
remember when the song came out. I said to dyl
and our boss, the program director of Kiss, I said,
I liked this song, and he looked at me and
he goes, that's going to be a big hit. I'm like, Wow,
Sabrina got her big hit. But there's been so many
artists like that. Another example is du A Lipa. You know,
(06:09):
I interviewed Dualipa at the House of Blues and they
asked Billy to do it. Billy said he couldn't do it.
He said, have justin do it. I said, okay, but
who's Dualipa? Yeah, And then I went there and there
was a huge line down lands down street. She was
the nicest ever and now look at her.
Speaker 3 (06:24):
No, it's crazy, and Sabrina was very very sweet. I
really really like her. And honestly, if you listen to
the album, it has R and B country like sim
Pickings is like has a banjo in it, like that
girl can do no wrong? Right now, I agree, but
we need to head off because Billy is knocking down
the door for the Food Show.
Speaker 1 (06:42):
Oh the Food Show, well post nineteen seventeen, they dropped
off all this food. They got to go on and
promote it.
Speaker 3 (06:47):
Good news is you can expect and after show tomorrow, yeah,
the Friday podcast is gonna come.
Speaker 2 (06:55):
Yep, yep. That's pretty good.
Speaker 1 (06:57):
All right, And I'm going to post a picture on
it Instagram in a little while and I'm gonna like
it's gonna be like a caption this on my on
my Instagram at just abeasy.
Speaker 2 (07:05):
It's what the shrinker guy Bob.
Speaker 1 (07:07):
It's really funny if you look at it, so I'll
post that on what's that called okay
