Speaker 1 (00:00):
Okay, Winnie and everybody else, let's get going. The after
show is beginning right now. Welcome in. It is Wednesday.
Today's date, Whinnie, is September the eighteenth, a few more
days left of summer. It's going to be warm today,
but uh, cloudy and then the cooler weather. Can I
make a confession, This is why I brought that up
(00:20):
to start with, you know, Jesus, Okay, God, excuse me,
I'm sorry. I love summer. I love warm weather. I
love the hot weather. Obviously, I have a pool, I
love being outside and all that stuff. But every year
when September comes, I want the hot weather to be gone.
I like the transition into cooler weather. I like the fall,
(00:42):
and I can't wait. And to be honest with you,
and I'll catch a lot of flak for this, but
especially the past week when it's been eighty degrees, I
every day get annoyed why it's too hot? Like I'm
done with the hot I like it to be cool, sixties, seventies.
It's hoodie weather. When we were younger, growing up, we
always look forward to hoodie weather, you know. So you
(01:03):
know today today, yesterday was the last eighty degree day
today is going to be yeah, seventies to eighty, and
then the temperature is going to drop. We'll get rain
and stuff and I'm looking forward to that this weekend.
Whinnie sixties. All right, bring out the hoodies. Whennie's not
paying attention because she's doing producer, she's doing producer Riley's job. Okay,
you don't to get angry. She's doing producer Riley's job
(01:24):
because producer Riley's not out, so she's doing the podcast.
So you know what app show, Army. It's just you
and I, Baby, you and I together, we could have
a freak off party. We can do whatever. You know
what I mean. We're ready.
Speaker 2 (01:35):
Winnie, Billy and Lisa in the Morning present a behind
the scenes look into Boston's favorite morning show.
Speaker 1 (01:42):
That's a little too much information.
Speaker 3 (01:44):
Say my guys, here the after show podcast.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
Who here's justin Winny. I just want to put it
out there, little PSA. Just kidding about the freak off party. Yeah,
you don't want to be involved in that. You don't
want to be diddy this morning waking up at the
Brooklyn Federal Detention Center. You know what it's like in
there when he not fun. I've never been I've never been.
My cousin has he told me it is not fun.
(02:09):
There are murders there all the time. Granted, I don't
think he's coming out of the cell.
Speaker 3 (02:13):
Oh no, he's in productive custody.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
He's in you know, he's put away. He's not going
to be like walking around in the prison. But they
could still get to him. That's been a big thing.
You know what he knows where the body's are buried.
You know, he knows all the secrets. He could really
really Okay, So the Didny thing is so fascinating to me,
and it's awful first and foremost awful, But it's so
fascinating because so many people know so much stuff, right,
(02:40):
powerful people. You know. I was reading one theory. Now
here's the thing about the internet, and this is stuff
that we can't talk about on the show because it's
all alleged. You don't know what's rail and what's not
on the internet. Like the video of allegedly him sleeping
with Meek Mill, we don't know if that's No. I'm
not gonna infect you can go look, you can go
(03:01):
find it. I'm not gonna no picture two men being
intimate in a very aggressive way yeah, and there you go. Allegedly,
diddy security guard knew what was going on, went to
the door and filmed it or you know, the sound
of it on his phone, and he released it. We
don't know if it's real. Another thing that I read
(03:22):
was that now again, I don't know if it's real
or not, but all these things are coming out. How
he started bad Boy Records. Apparently he had a big party. Okay,
you see the connection with parties and Diddy.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
Don't party.
Speaker 1 (03:36):
Don't party with Diddy, no, no, no never. And by
the way, many artists and celebrities have made comments like
that in interviews. Oh yeah, I know to lead before
the after party. Yeah, yeah, I don't party with Diddy.
But anyway, he had this big party with all these
big record reps and people, and his party's infamous for drugs.
He's been known to drug people that spike the alcohol.
(03:57):
And the rumor is that he he did that at
this party with these really powerful people in the music industry,
and they did some things and he recorded it and
he got funded through blackmail. I don't know if that's
true or not. I don't know. I'm just saying it
was Ashley peeking her head in, So I don't know
it's going to keep coming out again. I always liked to,
(04:20):
We always like to, you know, really focus on the
victims in the case, you know, the shout out to
the victims that we're able to come forward. It's not
always easy, especially in sexual assault. Can that's that powerful
because you know when you have that much power, He's
controlling their lives financially, their housing, drugs, and so you know,
that's how he was able to control them.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
He was basically a freak, right, That's what that means.
Speaker 3 (04:46):
He's a monster.
Speaker 1 (04:47):
Yeah. I was explaining it to my two friends that
I work out with, zeb and Joe, who are not
in the media. They don't really care. They don't really
follow much. So they'll ask me because they see headlines, Hey,
what's up with so yesterday? What's up with Diddy? So
I was explained to them and they said they couldn't
wrap the head around. They go Diddy, P Diddy from
the nineties, What are you talking about? I go listen.
(05:07):
Plenty of people have a side of them, right, not
I meanly not as bad as Diddy, but say they
have a freaky side, right, Say they like to watch
things happen. Right, It's not common for them to have
all the money in the world to be able to
live out these fantasies. And that's what happened with Diddy
and Kelly and Doc Kelly. They had the money, they
had the means, and they set these things up. I
(05:29):
mean essentially, what Diddy was doing was having these sex
parties and just and watching and participating, but mostly watching. Right, Yes,
it's pretty gross.
Speaker 2 (05:38):
Can I tell you about a very weird combination I
just saw on Instagram?
Speaker 1 (05:42):
Oh? Are you joining in the podcast now? I am
welcome everybody.
Speaker 2 (05:46):
Winny, Sir Paulcartney, Right, you know who he is?
Speaker 1 (05:49):
Diddy Party?
Speaker 2 (05:50):
No. Oh, he made a surprise appearance at Dion Cole's
comedy show.
Speaker 3 (05:54):
How random is that?
Speaker 1 (05:56):
The comedian?
Speaker 3 (05:57):
Yeah, Deon Cole's comedy show. You know de Young Cole.
Speaker 1 (06:00):
I'm pretty sure I know who that is.
Speaker 3 (06:01):
He was in Blackish.
Speaker 2 (06:02):
He's like he's like he's I would say he's a
bat list actor with a list connections. He was in
that movie with uh Gina what's her name? And and
uh I just elba that that uh Frontier movie, that
Black Frontier movie on Netflix that was big fall.
Speaker 3 (06:21):
Hard how do they fall?
Speaker 1 (06:23):
About the plane?
Speaker 2 (06:24):
It's a frontier movie but like Black People and like
the they were like.
Speaker 3 (06:29):
It was a huge one on Netflix. The Heart They Fall.
Speaker 1 (06:31):
Okay, I see it, The Heart They Fall.
Speaker 3 (06:33):
Yeah, yeah, he's in mad Ship.
Speaker 1 (06:36):
Wait. Paul McCartney from The Beatles came out of his show.
Speaker 3 (06:39):
Well he was, he was at his show. I got.
Speaker 2 (06:41):
I didn't look at the detan. I mean, he's a
funny guy. I know, someone that sucked.
Speaker 1 (06:45):
Him really interesting. Interesting, Well, thank you for that fun fact.
Speaker 3 (06:52):
But yeah, so he joined him on stage. Look at it.
That's fuck fucking random.
Speaker 1 (06:59):
Oh you need his jokes. Paul McCartney. Wow, and Ringo
Star from the Beatles is at the Chevalier tonight.
Speaker 3 (07:05):
It was in Hollywood.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
Yeah, oh yeah, I know Jukie Billy's best friend's going yep.
But is he just playing the drums?
Speaker 1 (07:12):
He's uh, I don't you know he sings too?
Speaker 3 (07:15):
Oh does he sing the Beatles songs with like other people?
Speaker 1 (07:18):
I guess, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (07:19):
Also, it Snile Horn's birthday five days ago.
Speaker 3 (07:22):
I don't know why that just popped up on my page.
Speaker 1 (07:25):
Okay, is this what your brains of the podcast birthdays?
So now we're doing birthday shout outs. No.
Speaker 3 (07:31):
I just came up on my feet and I'm.
Speaker 1 (07:32):
Just like, okay, do you want to do birthday shout out?
Speaker 3 (07:34):
Okay, let's do birthday shout Today is to have it?
Oh you got it?
Speaker 1 (07:38):
Yeah, I have it. Today is September eighteenth. It is
Jason Judegis's birthday. How old he's forty nine?
Speaker 3 (07:47):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (07:48):
Jada Pinkett Smith, Oh it turns fifty three. Okay, Lance
Armstrong fifty three? Looking at who else here, you wouldn't know.
Speaker 2 (07:57):
James Marsden, Yes, love him fifty one until he did
some weird shit.
Speaker 3 (08:01):
But I fucking thought, like he's so hot.
Speaker 2 (08:04):
But then remember he had that like he came out
against Drake Bell. Remember he wrote that letter like years
ago in favor of the guy that blessed Drake Bell,
the skin Dog.
Speaker 3 (08:14):
Yeah, but he was so good in that The Jury Duty.
Oh my god, you watch that on Amazon. Rhyme. No,
that was a social experiment that was so good. No,
remember that show. No, remember they did.
Speaker 2 (08:25):
A documentary of a Jury Duty. It was a whole yeah,
and there was only one real person. Everyone else improv
actors and James Marsden was like the celebrity's.
Speaker 3 (08:34):
Bell It was so good.
Speaker 1 (08:36):
Yeah, I forgot about that Drake bell piece though. That
was messed up.
Speaker 3 (08:39):
That was messed up.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
I forgot that was him. That's it for today tomorrow.
Jimmy Fallon turns fifty. Oh my gosh, fifty years old.
Jimmy Fallon.
Speaker 3 (08:46):
Wow, I can't believe that.
Speaker 1 (08:48):
Yep. And Mario Batali, isn't he a skin dog?
Speaker 3 (08:52):
Yeah? The ginger guy?
Speaker 1 (08:54):
Yeah, that's him, right, he had he had a restaurant
in Boston, Italy, right, yes, yes, oh yeah, Mario Batali. Wow,
Well he's not canceled enough to be on the birthday list.
Let me tell you. I know that.
Speaker 3 (09:06):
Well, the people that make the birthday list. I don't
think you've updated it.
Speaker 1 (09:09):
I did ask our program director yesterday if Diddy's music
has been taken off of iHeart stations, and he said no,
but it's not being played so in other words, we
don't they don't play it here on like Jammin. But
there wasn't a company company wide email saying hey, you
cannot play this music anymore. I think they just leave
it in the program director's hands. But I was thinking
(09:29):
about I was like, what about r Kelly. He goes, yeah,
we don't play R Kelly. He said that Kanye is
one that is kind of controversial, but they still do
play Kanye on.
Speaker 3 (09:39):
JA like a case by case.
Speaker 2 (09:41):
Yeah, who's one artist if you were a program director
that you would never.
Speaker 1 (09:46):
Play because of something they did. I mean, look, if
this Diddy thing, I'd pull the music of Diddy. Yeah,
just for the people. No one wants to hear this you,
No one wants to hear his music.
Speaker 3 (10:00):
He also doesn't put a good song out in twenty years.
Speaker 1 (10:01):
No, maybe he had that album a couple of years ago.
Speaker 2 (10:04):
The Love album that came out last year was very good,
but he it was other people on it, and it
was just him at the end talking and.
Speaker 3 (10:10):
Like shut the fog. I will, I will literally stop
it and then I will like because he was.
Speaker 2 (10:14):
Like, yeah, one love, it's all about like you have
Justin Bieber singing a banger and then at the end
of it.
Speaker 3 (10:20):
Yeah, I'm Diddy.
Speaker 2 (10:21):
Yeah that's how you know he's a narcissist. And I
knew that in that moment that everything about him was true.
Speaker 1 (10:27):
From a love album.
Speaker 3 (10:28):
Album that I hate to say, the album is very good.
Speaker 1 (10:30):
Yeah, Love is my real name. Yeah, yeah, sure it is. Yeah, Well,
I love to give he had good songs though, Diddy,
He's had some good songs.
Speaker 2 (10:38):
Remember when he Okay, first of all, did he I've
never I've always.
Speaker 3 (10:42):
Been indifferent about Didty. I never liked him.
Speaker 2 (10:43):
I never realized was like, oh, I fucking hate Diddy.
But if you go back and look at Making the Band,
we all watched that, I know you were like hi
during that time of life.
Speaker 1 (10:50):
I did watch it a little bit.
Speaker 3 (10:51):
Making the Band was huge.
Speaker 1 (10:52):
The cheese cake when they made him walk to remember.
Speaker 2 (10:54):
Danny Kane came out of it. Yeah, I mean they
were a big group or whatever. And then the other
band and they came out of it. I forget their name,
the R and B group, the guys they were good too.
But yeah, that was like a big show for us
to watch. And then but if you think about it,
he's just been creepy the whole time. He stole Sting sample.
You know he pays Sting five thousand dollars a day.
Speaker 1 (11:16):
Yeah, stings loaded. I really like I really like this song.
I can play a second of it because it will
never be played again. Do you remember this one with
Keisha Cole.
Speaker 3 (11:30):
Yeah. Last night, last night, I didn't even.
Speaker 1 (11:34):
Get the song not You. Yeah, here we go a banger.
Speaker 3 (11:45):
She has a big voice. I didn't even get an answer.
Speaker 1 (11:49):
Yeah, and that's it. Later, that's it.
Speaker 3 (11:52):
We'll talk to you tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (11:54):
Okay. We're saying goodbye already.
Speaker 3 (11:57):
Yeah, because we to go meet with Dylan.
Speaker 1 (11:59):
Oh we do.
Speaker 3 (12:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (12:00):
Oh no, Dyan's our program director, by the way, that's who. Yeah,
we're meeting. Jingle Balls coming up the announcements next week.
I know the lineup, winning knows the lineup. You don't know,
but you'll find out next Friday. The lineup, and let
me tell you it is good. Okay, but bye,
