leading into the weekend, and we are here showing up
for the after show.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Army up.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
Yeah, it's justin Winnie and yeah, going into a long weekend, Winnie.

Speaker 3 (00:12):
Three days.

Speaker 4 (00:14):
Uh huh.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
I love when people say, do you get this too?
From listeners? So there's a thing, long, long thing on
this show right going back even when Maddie was here,
right that people don't like when we're off, Yes, because
they want a live show. We're part of their routines.
We love that, Thank you for that. But do you
ever get the comments when people go, you guys take
more vacation than anybody.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
The truth.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
We take four weeks a year. I can tell you
of the weeks we have. Now, this is a company
this is a three day weekend's Matin Luther King Day.
That's a company home.

Speaker 3 (00:44):
We have like like maybe like ten company days.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
I know we have we have Martin Luther this month,
and we have President's Day next month, Memorial Day July.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
Fourth, No, you're missing it. We have jeenth Juneteenth, which is.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
New that's new, July fourth, Labor Day, and then Columbus Day.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
But then as far as entire weeks. We have a
week in March, two weeks in the summer, split up
one week in July, when week in August, and then
whatever Christmas is around there. So it seems like we
are on vacation all the time.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
We're not.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
You know who's on vacation all the time? Gandhi and
New York the Elvis Durancho. They take like eight weeks
a year. It's crazy. So I know you don't like
it when we're off, but we really don't take a ton.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
Of no case.

Speaker 4 (01:23):
And the thing about it is too is you have
to think like people are like, oh, I don't get
much vacation, but do.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
You take sick time? I can guarantee you.

Speaker 4 (01:30):
All these people that tell us they don't take vacation,
we never take six time.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
When's I mean? I mean, when do we take six time?

Speaker 2 (01:38):
You're really not.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
We really don't unless we have a stomach thing. I
feel like the colds, know obviously the flu, which you
don't get.

Speaker 4 (01:46):
It's the stomach thing just because we can't.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
Yeah, you can't function, But if you have a cold
or whatever, you still show up because you know it sucks.
But you know, essentially, even though you know, we're here
at past ten o'clock. If you need to, you can
come in leave right at ten, right when the show's over.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (02:02):
If one of us a struggling, like we can, you know,
figure it out for a few hours.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
So all that matters is we hare on a Friday.
That's what matt on a Friday on a long weekend.
It's my son's birthday Sunday.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
I can't believe he's gonna be eight.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
Eight, So we're gonna be having a big birthday party.
Is the Salem Boys and Girls Club? Okay, now here's
the thing about that. Now, it's a struggle when you
have a January birthday. I'm sure you had this too
with your family member. Is where to find a.

Speaker 4 (02:28):
Place to have We didn't really have them. My mom
would do like every few years, you got one. I
got bowling one year, like my seventh birthday.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
It's got to be indoors.

Speaker 4 (02:36):
Yeah no, but my mom was like big on like
every few years for a friend party.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
She didn't believe in every year you got a friend party.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
And your mom talked to my wife, maybe we can adopt.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
That she really she really really could.

Speaker 4 (02:47):
A couple One time I had a party at my house,
you know, just a friend party at the house. Yeah,
maybe like we did. Oh we did I'm a girl,
which is a little different than able, but we did.
Like remember when we when I when I was younger,
it just became a thing, pottery like, you know, lots
of fun time.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
So I did one of those one time.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
Yeah, well we always switch it up. We had a
hare before. But we'll do the jump park, we'll do
the indoor field. And it's cool. But you know, you
have a limit on the amount of so so hold on.
So here's the thing with the Boys and Girls Club.
There's no limit of people because he's at an age
where now he wants to invite his class as well

(03:25):
as all of his friends. There's like forty kids coming.
It's gonna be insane. So we have a giant rum.
They'll have the food and the cake and all that stuff,
and they have games and stuff in there, and then
we have an hour in basketball court and an hour
in the pool.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
So it's pretty cool. It's pretty cool.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
Okay, question, Yeah, what do you do for food?

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Pizza?

Speaker 3 (03:47):
So you have but you have to do it, yes,
or they do it for you.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
No, they don't do anything, but they'll have somebody that
is supervised, but we provide the food.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
And all that. So you know, my wife's going all
out with So.

Speaker 3 (03:57):
What did you just order a bunch of pizza?

Speaker 2 (03:59):
We didn't order it yet, but that's what's gonna happen.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
Like we're not doing We're gonna do a little smash
cake and then just get like really nice cupcakes.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
Smash cake, that's what she said.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
What are you talking about.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
She's a crazy.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
Cupcakes last year with the Nerve the Nerve cupcakes.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
She is doing all this like crazy creative stuff with
Fortnite because he plays Fortnite. So she got she got
she got these like labels that look like Fortnite, the
chuck jugs. I guess it's a part of the game.
And she had me buy all these Gatorade bottles and
she took them off.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
He put those on. So there's all kinds of crazy stuff.
So I'm gonna save my cheat meal for Sunday.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
You're just gonna house all the pizza and shore.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
I'm gonna eat so much pizza.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
I mean when I when I cheat with a pizza,
I eat minimum a whole pizza.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
And fries and mozzarella sticks. So you have to roll
me out of there.

Speaker 3 (04:55):
That would be fun.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
So that's my plans for this weekend and football. Of course,
I'm going to watch the games. How about you anything?

Speaker 3 (05:01):

I'll work out plan miss that.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
When I have to work out on the weekends. I
have to schedule it. You can't, you know, it's like
what time can I go?

Speaker 2 (05:18):
Is it? You know? That's the thing about kids. So
we do have Monday off. Yep, it's good. Another day off,
another day off, another day off.

Speaker 3 (05:25):

Speaker 2 (05:31):
It is a company holiday. Yeah yeah. And you know what,
I'm a firm believer that you take time off.

Speaker 4 (05:35):
You take the time it's given to you, it's a legality,
and spend.

Speaker 1 (05:38):
Time with yourself or in your fan or your family
or like.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
You be miserable and not be able to go to
the gym when you want to because.
